Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.
Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.
Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.
Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!
goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.
Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.
N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.
Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.
Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.
Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.
Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.
Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..
Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.
Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items
Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.
jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.
Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.
DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.
Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Tri-State Stone Co: what do users think?
Roger Torres: Great place to get all kinds of stone products for your home project/renovations. The prices are very reasonable. It’s a pick your own and must have a heavy vehicle to transport. Or you can have it delivered. I have done varies projects from stone from Tri-State and they all have turned out great.
Adam Riddell: Had a good experience. Guy on the phone helped me get the right aggregate for my project and scheduled delivery. Guy who delivered materials was a little earlier than I was planning on but did an awesome job putting my stone right where I needed it through by masterful driving through the back alley. I barely had to move it to its final place. Overall, satisfied and will return for future aggregate/stone needs.
Jake Reidel: Really a great place to get stones, cement block, gravel, and brick. No frills yard with great customer service. Do not expect a full service concierge type place. This isn’t it. Drive in, load your own stuff, pay and take off. Great prices and much better than a hardware or home improvement store. I will definitely be back.
Alex Gold: Love this place. As a DIY-er, it’s a little intimidating to go for the first time (see Mike Coogan’s post for advice). But everyone I’ve dealt with has been super professional, great service. It’s become a treat to get to visit my favorite quarry. Deliveries have always been super prompt, often within a day or two.
Jane Roth: terrific place to pick-up, purchase and have delivered your stones/boulders. i've used Tri-State several times over the past 5 years and always been extremely delighted. unbelievably large selection - i felt like a kid in a candy store. staff are very knowledgeable, upbeat and helpful. recommended to friends who also raved about their experience - and very fair prices!!

Mike Coogan: Great place to buy everything from large stones to pavers to sand and gravel. The staff here are salt of the earth and this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re into rock because it’s an actual quarry. Tri State Stone is a large property and takes a little bit to figure things out but the staff is awesome and the selection is unbeatable. Here are a few tips to help navigate it: You always get the materials loaded up first and then pay. The top of the property has mulch and stone by the pallet and the bottom has sand, gravel, CR6, and a ton more stone to choose from. The staff can help find whatever you need or provide prices. It’s an active mine with equipment moving around so drive carefully. Loaders/heat equipment has the right of way so drive carefully around them and don’t assume the drivers can see you if you’re walking up asking for something. If you’re a homeowner without a truck just looking for sand, Delaware gravel, etc, you can purchase sandbags for 50 cents, fill them up, and pay by weight. The way to do this is to enter the front of the property, drive down the hill towards the trailer, drive onto the scale in front of the trailer and record your vehicle’s total weight. Go inside and purchase the bags. Go outside and fill them with whatever you’re picking up. Drive back on the scale, record your weight, and subtract the previous weight to get your material quantity. If you have a truck and want bull material like mulch or gravel, there are two scales. The mulch scale is at the top of the property and gravel scale is at bottom next to the trailer. When you drive in you’ll weigh your truck (you don’t need to check in with anyone, just go onto the scale when it’s free), then find someone driving a loader and let them know what you want and how much. Don’t park right next to what you want because it makes it hard to maneuver equipment. In order to not wreck the shocks in your truck, the loader operator will try to get the bulk of the material as close to your cab as possible (so backend of truck isn’t overly weighed down). To prevent rocks from touching back windows yo can drape tarp there so it protects back window and is held down by material. When you’re loaded, weigh the truck again and go into the trailer and pay. You need to calculate the net material weight (ending weight minus starting weight). On the way out, show your receipt the the person near the front gate. The materials at Tri State Stone are high quality, fairly priced, and they have the best selection in the region. Definitely worth a visit if you have a home or work project.
Ederson Gislon: The worst customer service ever experienced. They are rude and not trained to deal with unexpected issues. One of the counter employee look like a homeless. They charged me twice for the material I got. It took me not to long to understand what kind relationship this company has with their customers.
Chris Stout: I went to Tri-State for the first time the other week to select some veneer building stone for my remodeling project. Their selection of stone and other materials was exceptionally good and the staff, especially Jake, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I would definitely buy from them for my future building needs.
David Lipscomb: I have gone to their yard in the past and purchased gravel that I bagged myself. This is the way to do it at Tri-State Stone. Inspect the material yourself, load it yourself, and transport it yourself. Unfortunately, last week I trusted their "price list" published on the internet, along with their local delivery service. That was a mistake. I needed topsoil to redo our frontyard, so I ordered what they list as "House Blend topsoil" on their price list. When I called to order I was assured it was good soil mixed with 50% leafgrow. Well, it's not. It seems to be quarry dust with at least 10-15% pebbles and stones. I'm giving them three stars instead of a lower rating for two reasons: first, I've had good experiences in the past when I've visited the location myself, inspected the material, loaded it and transported it. Also, they encouraged me to check the "topsoil" myself before purchase, but I did not have the time for that trip. My mistake. But the key issue here is that their published price list (on the site) lists "House Blend Topsoil" and they represented it on the phone (before purchase) as good soil mixed with 50% leafgrow. And that's why they deserve only three stars, at most. When I called to complain (afterwards), a representative said he refused to change the "topsoil" name on their site, even though he agreed it's not topsoil. "It's our fill dirt we get from the quarry and yes it has a fair amount of rocks and pebbles. But we do mix it with leafgrow. Lots of people love it." So, again, Tri-State is a good place to buy stone, pavers, and gravel if you know what you are doing, you inspect everything yourself, you load everything yourself, and you transport everything yourself. But do not trust their website, especially their price list.

Sam C: This is a great hardware store. Staff is helpful, selection quite decent, and right in my neighborhood. Could I save a little bit of cash by driving out to the deep burbs for the Home Despot or similar? Sure, but would I? Absolutely not. Icing on this cake: they always accept my Ace coupons, even if past their expiration date. Now that is ace in my book.

Since we're in basement level, it can be challenging to step off the floor during certain times of the day when staffing is limited. 20TH Century Archivist: Disbelieve all positive reviews for the ACE Hardware in Glover Park. The staff there is rude, unhelpful, incompetent and pay absolutely no attention to customer safety. This explains why today was my last shopping trip to the ACE Hardware in Glover Park. I was walking through one of the aisles in the ACE Hardware in Glover Park and was looking at items on a shelf when I suddenly was tripped and fell to the floor: the staff left several thick and heavy sealed cardboard boxes scattered right on the floor. A store employee came to see what had happened and when she saw me rising from the floor she then promptly lost all interest. The employee "apologized" in an insincere manner and was offended when I criticized her and the store for leaving boxes scattered on the floor for customers to trip on, claiming that she was not the employee responsible. Although I haven't encountered scattered boxes previously in the in the ACE Hardware in Glover Park, the staff there does place too much merchandise in the aisles: they are totally incompetent and rude and cannot properly run the store. Placing heavy sealed cardboard boxes on the store floor for customers to trip on is absolutely the dumbest thing store employees can do: Washington, DC store employees can be among the worst, but I have never encountered such flagrant incompetence in a store in this city before today. The Yelp reviewers posting here leaving all of those five-star reviews probably have never shopped often in the ACE Hardware in Glover Park or spent much time in the store when shopping there. All of the Washington, DC area ACE Hardware stores are poorly staffed and managed, but the Glover Park location is the very worst and has been getting worse since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic: they are unable to deal with more customer demand. For your own safety and sanity, please avoid the ACE Hardware in Glover Park! You will find Lowe’s or the Home Depot to be a safer, saner, and more courteous environment!

J P: five stars for having a helpful techo bloc display in northern va, was trying to compare paver and wall colors and textures and hd2 vs standard and their display helped tremendously. even if you're just checking out their displays bring an suv or truck, parking is tight and it felt like i had to do some light offroading to get out of the way of a flatbed tractor trailer and to exit the parking lot.
Ren Hsu: Not a reliable company, quoted/ charged us for material (that was in stock), then cancelled said order while given us "uncharged" stone as only option. I'd strongly suggest using other stone/ material company.
Michael Kline: Great place to deliver fast unloading
Larissa Fuqua: My husband and I bought from Sislers for our do-it-yourself front and back yard landscaping project including three Nicolock mini-colonial retaining walls and a flagstone terrace. We found them incredibly easy to work with, with excellent customer service. In particular, we worked with Pedro Rodriguez who was exceptional! They helped us determined how much of each material would be needed based on our plans and their estimations were right on target! The delivery fees were very reasonable, especially since the delivery guy was ridiculously helpful in placing the stone somewhere convenient for us but less convenient for him. We've had a wonderful experience all around with them and will definitely use them again for future landscaping projects.
Sandra Argueta: If I could give no stars would do. Called to check on an order that was placed for updates. Whoever answer super upset because I was calling. Rude no customer service what so ever. I asked for her name and to speak with a supervisor and she hanged up. I called back and they did not pick up the phone. I'm super upset at this situation. Have some good customer service for your business. Make sure your employees are nicer there is no reason for you to be upset if a customer is asking for an update on their order.
Response: Sorry for your experience. We use a call service to take messages when we are busy. (All messages are answered by employees by the end of the day.) They do not have access to order information though, so it is possible that they were unable to help you and were not trying to be rude. If you could DM us, we would like to get to the bottom of this, who you talked to and why the answering service did not pick up your second call. Also, we would like to know how your order went. I could not find an order under your name. Thank you for your feedback. We look forward to figuring out what happened and doing what we can to make it right.

david tortolero: Bad service, I called for some limestone and they told me they have it ,I rent a truck and when I come over they said that everything was sold , a week later I call again looking for more of the same stone and this time told them what happened to me the week before and guess what's Ohhh yes They did it again. Too bad, they lost a costumer
Carlos Trujillo: If you expect to receive your item, don’t purchase it here. We waited thirteen weeks. After weeks of calling, they were unable to fulfill our order.

While we do our best to stay on top of orders, all manufacturers are having supply issues. We have no control over their production schedules. If you believe we made errors on our part, please DM so that we can get to the bottom of it. Anthony Scott: My experience was painful to say the least! I want with a colleague of mine to get some keys made. The young lady could not get the machine to properly read the keys, so all four keys were cut incorrectly! We then asked about desk locks and she sent us to the pad lock area. Finally two gentlemen took us to the correct area (which was low on stock, of course!). This was not what I would expect from Home Depot! Very disappointed! Of course this store is on my banned list. I can't recommend a place with poor customer service to anyone who reads my reviews. If you do decide to venture here, don't expect the best of help! Look elsewhere!!!

Rich B: Well stocked. Great attendants. Order pickup was confusing and didn't work from the car but easy to get from the desk directly at the entrance. Ignore the signs and exit the same way you entered since pickup parking is at the entrance.

Elian Hauling: TIFFANY AT THE OXON HILL, MARYLAND LOCATION SHOULD NOT SERVICE CUSTOMERS IF SHE DOES NOT LIKE TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS. I came into the HomeDepot wanting to purchase a tool but noticed that no one was around to help with removing the tool and also the orange apron associates were busy with customers. I decided to go to “CUSTOMER SERVICE” to see if anyone can help me with taking the tool out of the cage. Once I walked over to customer service I politely asked an associate if there was anyone that can help with taking a tool out? She then asked me in what aisle was the tool in? While I was going to look and see what isle, there was another associate named TIFFANY who was next to the associate who I spoke with TIFFANY SAID THAT I PASSED 5 ORANGE APRONS BEFORE COMING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHY COULDN’T I ASK ONE OF THE OTHER PEOPLE WITH APRONS. I mentioned that I came to customer service because that is the purpose of customer service, to service the customer. I left and serviced myself in trying to find someone who can actually help me. TIFFANY SHOULD NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IF SHE IS NOT WILLING TO SERVICE CUSTOMERS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Tony Johnson: The check out lines are a tad perplexing. No designated demarcation only an arbitrary queue forming on the right so potential confusion is created but relatively easily resolved. Aka. They use a lot of self checkout.

Emily Shaw: I love this place--such a friendly neighborhood vibe. I get all my plants here, and this one guy who works there (sorry don't remember the name) is my plant guru. They will repot your plants for a small fee if you bring them in, which is so helpful when you live in an apartment. Also--their plants are so reasonably priced!! I bought a gorgeous 7-foot fiddle leaf fig on a whim because the price was literally a quarter of what you'd pay at [unnamed nearby plant shop]. Thank you for everything you do!!

Paul Durbin: If you want service and quick check out go to True Value on 17th. Completely different experience with knowledgeable staff ready for you at the door who will help you and then check you out right away. 100% of the true value staff knows their stuff. Here it’s mainly people who will just check you out and don’t know hardware. This place has equally good inventory and later hours, but it’s not a hardware store experience. And for what it’s worth this is an Ace Hardware, which advertises on Fox News, should you want to avoid supporting Fox.
Baba Harsh: This place is great, I understand it's a mom and pop shop but man the prices are super high. The people are somewhat helpful but got a lot of short answers. Ended up at Home Depot.

milo matute: this is incredible, at 5 in the afternoon and the gate of the garden area was closed I had to buy 12 bags of mulch and 5 bags of stones, and the area according to two employees who I asked told me that this area It was already closed if I wanted to pay I had to take all that to the front gate, they didn't even offer me help on this. If that is true, please, they should update the schedule and specify that the gate closes at 5 so as not to waste time, if not, too bad for those employees who do not recognize that this type of business is due to customers.
Chris Macola: If I could give this place zero stars I would. Whatever you do, do not order any furniture from this place. Not only will they screw it up if it's a delivery, but if you try to get a hold of someone to correct the situation, you'll be transferred from this person to that person and back to the original person again (if they actually answer the phone at all) and you may be on hold for 15 minutes to a half hour and you may very well get disconnected. The only way I got anything done with my messed up delivery was I had to drive there every time and physically talk to someone. The one manager I did talk to over the phone that said he was going to take care of everything was there but no one could ever get a hold of him in the store. I got three different sections of the store that he was supposedly the manager of but no one could ever find him. The furniture itself that I ordered was not assembled very well because the bolts were loose and when it originally came it was not assembled even though we paid to have it assembled. We sent the driver's back and then we had to fight tooth and nail to get them to come out again. Ultimately I had to call their customer service phone number and speak to someone above them to get anything completed. Very bad experience and I will not be going back to this particular Lowe's ever again. It's hard for me to say this but the local Home Depot closest to me was better just about every area than this particular Lowe's. And in my opinion Home Depot is not as good as Lowe's overall. Extremely disappointed.
Denise Anderson: Great place to shop, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to return a lock, I waited on a line for30min, which did not move. The only movement was more people added to the line. Absolutely frustration! I still need to take back the lock, but do not want to spend my entire day waiting in a return line. The need to hire better staff and pay them. Give so e incentives fir coming to work and doing a awesome job. Easy to take money, but trying to return is a beast

Howard Batiste: I went here to get some grade 8 hardware for a project I have at home. It was significantly easier to find what I needed versus shopping at Home Depot and there seem to be a lot more available in terms of volume. Would definitely recommend here if you are shopping around for screws and bolts.

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?
Joshua Cruse: Overall; Lowe’s as a company/brand has declined in recent years. In my recent experience, though, this location in particular seems to be the least reliable of all the stores in the metro DC area. Across departments, their inventory is grossly misrepresented in the app (by dozens), and the associates are generally not helpful in determining whether or not they actually have the items in the store. They are quick to blame “the system”. However, I’m not patronizing their system. I [was formerly] patronizing them. So, if it’s an issue with just this location; avoid this location. If it’s company-wide, avoid the company. That’s how consumers should react to their blame-game logic. At this point, it just simply appears Lowe’s is artificially inflating their inventory counts online to get customers in the door. That’s misleading and dishonest. Alternatively; the big-orange-box competitor’s site/app will direct you to contact the specific store if the quantity is low or out of stock. Still not as honest as a flat “we’re out”, but better than inflated counts. YMMV. Buyer beware.
Kwadwo Tuffour: Took this painting to figure out how to get it up on my wall, and to get the right kind of nails to do it. Sales associate was able to take me right to what I needed and shower me how to hang it. Mission accomplished. Bonus: Had a nice, brief conversation with the cashier, Radha about the different women in the picture. She recognized a couple and asked about a few, which i told her.
John Kean: A home improvement store that's worth a longer drive. It has well-organized and labeled stock that is free of the grimy dust in competitor's stores. The staff has been exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Smaller than other home stores, so I have some items delivered to the store, usually in a day, and then I am sure the item will be available. I have used the store's contractors for air conditioning installation and gutter replacement. Both were excellent and cost was the lowest or close to lowest.
Kari Podhajsky: It was a perfectly fine and clean store. It had what we were looking for. The women's bathroom needed a little bit of love, but it certainly got the job done. The employees were friendly and helpful. The signage was accurate and easy enough to find everything that we needed. Plus there was ice cream nearby!
Jessica Osorio Jimenez: Go to the Chantilly store, it is not that far away, it is bigger with a larger selection, better organized and doesn't have a Norma. I absolutely abhor having no choice but to listen to someone in "management" belittling and berating an employee from the corner front of appliance to to past the appliance desk in front of customers or other employees, there is absolutely no need for it. If that would've happened before I purchased my appliances, I would've have left and purchased them elsewhere. The other employees are helpful but they look harassed and stressed. I even went back a couple of times to see if the atmosphere had changed, but 🤷♀️ it may get better once the reorganization is complete but until then, just go to the Chantilly store.
Tracey Greene: Went and got spare keys for mom. I'm so happy they had a great variety of different colors to choose from so that you can use certain keys to identify certain doors for your house. And the guy who helped me do the keys he was so nice. Thank you for the great experience
Jonathan Larson: Convenient location, but smaller footprint so not as wide of a selection as other Lowes. Staff are proactive, but minimally staff checkout lanes.
Dawn Wunderle: After more than 7 phone calls to 3 different numbers trying to schedule appliance installation, I was lucky this morning to have been assisted by Joshua Lewis in the Floral and Garden Department. Even though it is not his department or responsibility, he patiently worked through getting the dishwasher I ordered on January 13th scheduled for installation. If there were 10 stars - I would select all 10 for Joshua! Patient, courteous and helpful and he went above and beyond to assist me!
Yumiko Cook: I had outstanding customer service from Gretchen. All the time she was polite, friendly, and tried to find what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the store didn’t carry the fluorescent light bulbs. But she gave me more information of it about me to order it easier.
Blake Gregory: I had the Best experience I've ever had at this Lowe's Store. The young lady in the Appliance area was helpful, knowledgeable and got our Refrigerator delivered the next day. A 10 star experience in satisfaction.

geek girl: Eddie and his team at Lifetime Stones did an amazing job on a retaining wall and walkway. He offered helpful design advice, handled all of the engineering drawings and permitting, and then executed the job masterfully. He is extremely responsive and the job was completed in a very timely manner. His mason and team were fantastic, and really knew what they were doing. Eddie even came back to fix one small thing that we hadn't even noticed, going well beyond the call. His prices are very fair and the craftsmanship you get is excellent. The curb appeal of our home just increased wildly with the beautiful new wall and walkway. We would hire Eddie and Lifetime Stories for any and all hardscape and stone/masonry projects in the future. We highly recommend them.
Dat Hoang: We were impressed with the job that Lifetime Stones did for us, flagstone steps and retaining walls. Eddie, one of the owners, was a pleasure to work with. He communicated every step of the process, provided me with constant updates, and was flexible. We’ve used many vendors in the past for home improvement projects and I would say that Lifetime Stones is on the top of the list. We will use Lifetime Stones for future projects.
TTL: Lifetime Stones did a great job rebuilding/repairing our retaining wall. The entire job took just two days to complete a section of wall about 15 linear feet long by about 3 feet high. They showed up promptly in the morning on the first day and did a great job cleaning up on the last day. I would definitely consider them for future work. Highly recommend. Eddie was a pleasure to work with.
Salih Booker: Lifetime Stones did an amazing job replacing our nearly 100 year old retaining wall by demolishing the old wall and using the same stones to create an attractive “dry stack wall” in its place. The wall is 3 ft tall by nearly 100 ft long. From the beginning of our search for a contractor, Eddie Lovius, the owner/CEO of Lifetime Stones, was quick to respond to our request for an estimate while other contractors were slow or unresponsive altogether. He promptly visited our property, submitted an estimate and provided photos of some of Lifetime Stones’ previous work enabling me to communicate clearly what type/style we wanted our restored wall to be. We quickly reached agreement on the price and scheduled the start of the project. Due to the bureaucratic requirements of the District of Columbia, 7 separate permits were required before commencing the work. Fortunately, Lifetime Stones’ architect was able to navigate the difficult maze, pay the fees, and obtain the permits in a tolerable amount of time without our having to pay substantial deposits as are often required. The work itself, of demolition and then the painstaking stone masonry work of shaping stones and assembling the jigsaw puzzle of the new wall, proceeded rapidly. The professionalism and skill of the lead stonemason and foreman, Raul, was reassuring as we watched the progress each day until the job was completed. We are completely satisfied with the final product and it is the pride of the neighborhood. Even after we’d made our final payment, Eddie and Raul agreed to return on a Sunday morning to readjust and reset one stone in which tiles with our address had been inserted. We highly recommend, without reservation, Lifetime Stones for any stone masonry work, wall repairs and restoration, or any other similar projects that you might be considering. Todd Leyba: I had an entire aggregate concrete driveway, two irregular slate sidewalks and steps done by Lifetime Stones and couldn't be happier with the result. Their work was professionally done with the highest grade of craftsmanship and all at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend their work to anyone looking for high quality hardscaping work to be done.
Silver Sprung: Lifetime Stones is a great company to work with! Lifetime Stones replaced my cracked driveway. We were very pleased with the customer service, prompt handling of our project and the cost compared to other bids we recieved. We can recommend them without reservation.

We enjoyed less than 24 hours of response time on any request that we have made. He never over promised and made sure to set realistic expectations. He took time to provide options, when we weren't comfortable with the initial plan. Eddie made sure that we had contact with the foreman performing the work. The crew was very professional and highly skilled, they made quick work of a very challenging and daunting project. We are very happy with the quality of the work performed and delightfully surprised the speed in which it was completed in. If you have a large and complicated project Lifetime Stones is more than capable of finishing it on time and in budget.

danceswithcars w: While the renamed store still hosts TheBikeHouse on the edge of the parking lot and tools inside, not much else has changed, afaict, still kind of unpaid day laborers in relation to a for profit store. When at Qualia it was coffee/light foods and taking over the back yard. This tools, supplies and learning some basic mechanics. How to change a flat. How a ratchet works. On up through what can be done with bikes... At times I wish TBH would takeover a foreclosed property and have a home... Until then I guess buy cold sweet liquids while baking to death in the heat without bathroom nor filtered cold water access. FWIW I was at the (original) opening with council member(s), food truck, etc. District HW (w 🚲), old Capital Hill Fragers that burned, saw deceased mayor there, etc.
Mark Pry: Excellent hardware store in the Petworth area that typically has everything I need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Chris was especially helpful when I needed to grab a few bags of mulch!

Daniel Alexander: The first time I came to this location, I received excellent help in finding the right size nail for a small drawer. But today, despite the store not being very busy, no one offered much help in me trying to decide on plants or planters. Fine, I can do it myself. But then the plastic plate rang up for over twice the actual price. And none of the plastic planters have any prices, so I ended up returning everything and leaving with only time wasted - if I can't trust the register to ring up one item properly (aka theft) then I think the other prices might be wrong (or just way overpriced for some cheap plastic planters).

Mondays are our truck days and staff can become distracted by shelving tasks, but their priority is always our customers. We will pass your comments along to the management team for review. Per the planters, we have recently received a lot of new inventory in and staff are working to tag these items appropriately. Some items also get shuffled around by customers and occasionally are misplaced with the incorrect label. We price our items appropriately based on market trends and many household items have gone up in price during the pandemic as a result of increased tariffs, shipping restraints are resource availability. Jamela Love: I recently went to Lowe's to purchase a washing machine. Memorial Day was over but they had the sale extended into June. Excellent! I didn't see an associate to help me and was about to be agitated, as one associate did finally appear and let me (and another customer) know we had five minutes of help that he could offer! Then Chris arrived! He was so efficient, clear and helpful!!! I was very impressed especially since I rarely shop here and mostly go to lowe's main competitor. This day i was there just because I happened to be in the area. Chris' professionalism and thoroughness really was impressive--so much so that I knew I would write a review. But it gets even better! The reason Lowe's gets 5 stars is because of the wonderful contractor they hired to install my washer! I believe the name is Augustin and the actual technician's name was Ramon. Ramon absolutely went above and beyond to assist me in getting my washer installed. The level of service, kindness and completeness that he provided is better than any I"ve ever received while living in this home. I was so blessed by them coming through and addressing unexpected issues with class, gentleness and understanding. If it were not for Ramon and his staff I still would be without a washing machine today. They took it upon themselves to repair a rusted pipe without charging me anything additional...this is unheard of in today's time. Thank you so very much Lowe's--I am now a new customer. I definitely will come back!!!!
Patrick Walsh: Lowe's in Clinton Maryland has made drastic improvements with their customer service in the past couple months. I had some negative interactions back in July and August of last year which caused me to leave some negative reviews. Since then every time I have walked in the store, every team member that I have dealt with, has been very helpful and absolutely amazing to me. I actually enjoy going to the Lowe's in Clinton instead of driving some distance to one of the other stores now.
Ti Ow: Wow from the very first person that greeted me to the lady that helped me in the Key Department her name was Caroline.. they were all kind, smiling and made my shopping experience wonderful. Lora Mitchell: I've been quarantine and I had to do something with my time and I've visited this location ALOT!! The staff have all been very well informed and helpful when looking for certain things. I completed a planting project and the had EVERYTHING I needed. From the pots,seedlingzspray paint and more. Ir has always been well stocked and a hassle free experience...Highly recommended.
Cheryl Davis2: I dread going into this location. A bunch of employees standing around talking until they see a customer walking their way. Then they scatter like roaches when the light comes on. They are rude and pretty much force you to have to use self service as no other registers are staffed. Then your items set off the alarm because there is no way to deactivate anti-theft devices at self service registers. It's embarassing. This location remains the worst one I've ever been to. Tip: please don't need a key made

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is near Mall at Prince George's. Home Depot offers a wide variety of House Hold Essential, Furniture, Home Good Items, Lawn Equipment, Supplies, Do it yourself project and many many more options available to choose from. Store was clean. Staff was knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant and friendly. The parking lot can be busy, and not many parking spaces available.
Tanya Ramey: The prices were good; however, with an older home, the doors are irregular in size, therefore, the prices I got excited about didn't apply. They were much higher! Moved on to another company. In the end, still paid more, but better quality doors overall. Better service.
Sarah Marie Gerrity: We love this Home Depot! Recently moved to the area so we find ourselves at THD multiple times a weekend — and every time we’ve needed help, we just happened to get Jonathan! Polka Art: A late Saturday morning in May - by all accounts, as busy as the store gets. So why, then, is this the time that they decide to run the machine to wash the floors and do restock?! I counted at least 6 aisles completely closed during this time, and only one of these had a lift accessing higher shelves. All of the other aisles were closed during that time with no one in them doing anything, and closed for the entirety of my 30 minute visit. At one point, I was in an aisle actively looking at garden tools I was going to buy, and the employees came to shut down the aisle I was in. I was rudely asked if "I wasn't going to cooperate" by dropping what I was shopping for and immediately leaving. Beyond rude and I don't understand the logic of doing these things at the busiest time and not before store opening or early in the morning. I left the store with only about 1/4 of the items I came to shop for and will be visiting a different store to purchase the rest.
Reg Templeton: Convenient, Well-stocked, Nice Helpful Employees BUT... Filthy bathroom! During early morning visits two consecutive days this week, ladies room floor was smeared with what seemed to be fecal matter... Difficult to find a parking space where your vehicle will be safe from the scores of abandoned carts rolling around, regardless of time of day. Also, have twice seen rude clientele verbally abusing staff with vile, humiliating profanity (in Pro Dept), while other staff cowered in the background. In other settings this would be criminal behavior, but no one came to help the employee. For shame!
Jessica Vazquez: Picked out balusters for a stair project. Employee approached saying the aisle was being closed to bring an item down. We needed maybe 30-60 additional seconds and informed the employee we understood and were grabbing our last items and would quickly vacate. She stood there and repeated very rudely that the aisle was being closed. Maybe wait for the customer to finish their purchase? Especially when their hands were already full with product? Not as if we were just hanging out on purpose.
Chit Sayar: Customer service is very poor. I ordered online and they just delivered some of my order and one item was missed. So I called them and they hold up my phone for several minutes. And the employee said she will refund and hang up the phone immediately and no apology and no say thank you or anything. Just hang up the phone.
Chanpen Tee: This location always has a lot of indoor plants. The price is reasonable. Staff is helpful.
Ryan McKeon: Hands down, the worst HD in America, and that's saying something. Stock is never accurate. Store is never packed out. Need lumber for framing? Good luck getting a straight 2x4. Need a fitting for some plumbing work? It's like digging for treasure through bins filled with other stuff. Need a clamp or a tape or a bit? That's cute. Today's mess was trying to find a router bit the store inventory says is in stock... right...

D Prince: Home Depot in Alexandria you have the BEST employees! I’ve been back and forth to this store for the past few weeks gathering supplies for my remodel. Lillian in the paint department was very helpful in assisting me with my paint colors. She made sure I bought the CORRECT base paint to mix with the colors I picked out for my home. Lawrence (gentleman in the pictures) assisted me EVERY time (and I mean EVERY TIME) I purchased items that needed to be put in my vehicle. And EVERY TIME he serviced with a smile (just look at the pictures). Lawrence is so attentive, respectful and helpful. He made sure the items I purchased were put safely in my vehicle to be transported! THANK YOU LAWRENCE!! And thank you Home Depot Alexandria for hiring such great employees who know the meaning of customer service!
Brian Copes: This is my main Home Depot I go to the Northern Virginia area. It usually has any home improvement or household item that I need for my place. My only issue is sometimes the staff is busy handling other customers questions to answer my personal question. Definitely one of top stores in the area in my opinion. I would recommend you come experience this store yourself.

It took way to long and too much work to finally get connected with someone in customer service who was empowered to resolve my issue, but it finally happened, thank you!! Original Post: Bought a shower door last fall, Home Depot lost it before I picked it up… now I’m out $575 dollars. Managers won’t work with me. Told me I’d have better luck disputing with my credit card company than with Home Depot…then they fought me again there. And this is all after I reordered a second new door of the exact same model. Too bad no one is empowered to help their customers. I wish I’d never taken my business here!!
David Lawrence: I paid $160 for dishwasher installation, cleared my morning to wait for them to come, then the installers refused to do the plumbing. Nothing fancy, just straightforward install. I’ve heard of this happening to others. This is a racket! Stay away from appliance purchases at Home Depot!!
Amre Kebaish: Tread carefully when asking an idle associate about in item that is supposedly in stock according to the website/app, but isn’t available in the stated location. They will angrily glare at you for daring to interrupt their phone scrolling. If you persist, they will eventually sigh and put the phone down. However, they will say whatever it takes to get you out of the store without being helpful.
Russ Colbourne: How do you have half the isles closed on a Saturday morning???? All I needed was a adjustable wrench and they refused to allow me to get it. Totally would understand if there was heavy equipment or something like that in motion. I asked when the isle would be open again and the employee just shrugged her shoulders. I absolutely hate this location but unfortunately it the most convenient. I will be going out of my way to lowes from this point on.
Katherine Matsuo: Came in about 45 minutes before closing looking to buy a power drill. They were all locked up and spent about 20 minutes trying to find someone to help me. They then made the announcement that the store was closing and to bring your items up to the register. Again, no one to help me get the drill I needed. There were about 4 other people in the aisle with me. Decided to just buy one off Amazon as I left the store.
Nathan Winborne: I had a very disappointing experience at this Home Depo location today. I went there to return something and decided to walk around the gardening section afterwards. I walked in and saw a beautiful 6' tall money tree that had no price tag, so I stood in line at the cashier and asked him for a price check. The barcode that was on the planter was not reading when he scanned it so he then sent me to customer service where 2 employees tried to look on the computer at homedepo.com for the price but still couldn't find it. The girl that was helping me at customer service had to go find someone else who also didn't know how to find the price and suggested I talk to a manager. I was about to walk out but decide to find one more person to help so I walked a random cashier that informed me that the managers were all on a meeting on Mondays bit pointed out another employee who she said was more knowledgeable. I went to over to the 5th employee at this point and explained that I was interested in purchasing something in the garden center, but it had no price or barcode. So, we walked back over to the garden center where she confirmed that there was no price or barcode and went and found someone else that worked in the garden center (the 7th employee now). The lady that she found came over and looked at the barcode sticker, peeled it off and was able to type in the sku# where the price finally came up and finally, I was able to purchase the tree. I think that it is highly inexcusable and embarrassing that I had to go through several employees to buy this tree when in reality the first cashier that I spoke to (as a matter of fact every employee that I spoke to) should if been able to solve the problem in a fraction of the time that it took. The manager at this location really needs to train his employees on basic function such as typing in the sku# when the barcode doesn't scan.
Fernando Espana: I shop at home depot around the country (I tour 11 months a year with an Entertainment industry) and always the best customer service & friendly home depot associate ayesha, very helpful and on point in every project planning when I need purchasing materials & tools. Isata K: On Saturday, June 4, 2022 I visited this Lowes. Outside there was a grill advertised for $199. When I went to the customer service counter to purchase it, the woman working could not find it in the system. I was able to look it up and provide item number. Evidently the grill was actually $249, and was priced incorrectly outside. Matt, one of the store managers was amazing. He was able to ring the grill up for the price labeled outside. He went above and beyond to dismantle the grill hood, so it could fit in my SUV. He and another man were able to load it into my SUV without scratching my vehicle. He was very helpful and kind. His attitude was refreshing. I appreciate your assistance.
Niko Trowell: I just had the worst experience at lowes, I’m an electrician and I normally go to Home Depot to pick up wire but I needed some wire cut that they didn’t have so I went to lowes. When I got there I went to the electrical aisle 12, I waited for 5 minutes until I seen a sales associate. I asked if he could help me he said give him 5 minutes. So I waited 15 minutes before I went to the checkout lane for them to call for assistance. After that in waited another 15 minutes before i decided to go to customer service to ask for the manager. So i spoke with the manager who couldn’t assist me so they supposedly called someone for assistance. I waited there 10 minutes before I decided to leave. They wasted 40 minutes of my time just to have a wire cut I will probably never visit that store again this was the worst service I’ve had trying to buy something from a hardware store ever .
Paul Harrod, Jr: I don't know what it is about this location but the employees are lethargic and unhelpful. They leisurely peruse throughout the store, not knowing where anything is and generally being incompetent. Furthermore, DO NOT use this store for online pickup. Your order will not be ready when you arrive and they will spend 30 minutes looking for your items, only to tell you they can't find it. Then when you are given a substitution, You can go inside and the find the item you ordered, right there on the shelf. This has happened to me twice. Avoid this location.
Lisa McCants: I ordered a stove on line for the Memorial Day Holiday and paid for haul away and installation. There was no mention of the delivery process. When the delivery person arrived and indicated he is here just to drop off the stove. It was conveyed he does not install and that is separate. I am perplexed as to why this is a two step process, and if I knew I would have scheduled them both the same day. The delivery person noticed damage to the back of the box and saw the stove was damaged. He took the stove with him as damaged goods. Now, I’ve been calling Lowes since yesterday and the phone just rings and no one ever picks up. This is ridiculous and I’ve called several times. Now, I have to go in person for one thing I ordered on line….Terrible I can’t rate this zero stars….Frustration overload…
Omari Black: Listen when I tell you 5⭐️ Service, go to the appliance section and see Mr. Brandon! From the Initial encounter it was top notch professionalism, customer service, and in depth knowledge of the products! I went in totally dum as to what I needed to get and he took his time and explain everything to me as far as my options, the quality and on top of that what was on sale at the moment. I will recommend anyone looking for any home goods to definitely go to the New Carrollton location and see Brandon asap!

JLAX 27: The WORST customer service. New Carrollton MD Lowes has the worst customer service. Tried for 3 hrs to talk to someone at the store about a delivery that was continuously delayed. Doing housework so I have time, today, while I listen to this repetitive, ridiculous hold music. Asking for a manager immediately. If no on picks up, corporate will be getting a call. Don Malnati: This is a great local hardware store, that has just about everything a homeowner could need. Plants, screws, tools. They have helpful staff as well, one of them actually called me when my wife accidentally locked her keys in the car so I could come help.

For instance the plumbing section has more fittings than HD Lowes or Furgerson. Ace is well stock and the sales associate are super friendly. My one dislike and this is why I gave it 4 ⭐️s not the 5 ⭐️s. The prices are in most cases twice as Home Depot and Lowes. Some times triple the price. I’m in the home remodeling/handyman business and it’s time consuming to run to get one piece of 2x4x8 so I end up paying three times the price. I know it’s a convenience but they are the only once that get away with doubling the price. Anyway Indo like the if I know that they carry the item it will be in stock. This particular location has underground parking and it’s free for the first hour.

Davron Nigmatov: Very helpful staff. Good variety of tools for your home. I bought adjustable wrench and pliers. The wrench didn't fit and I returned without any problem. You'll find good quality tools for reasonable price.

Stephen Schwartz: Small ace hardware store tucked away in the parking garage, but good for a quick in and out for specific items. Not going to have the largest selection, but that's probably not why you are headed here anyway! Edit: updating my review here as per the response below. They expanded the store a LOT - it's maybe 33% to 50% larger now which has a lot more stock.

BLU CHRUSH MEGA TRUCK: Staff is super , I called ahead to make sure what I needed was in stock, and when I walked in the door some 11 minutes later I was greeted as if he knew me ! In and out although I did park on the curb and ride the stairs down due to my work truck not fitting in the parking garage, PS, the stamp your ticket so ya don't pay for parking here!

M.E.: It appears Loews is becoming more customer/purchaser friendly than Home Depot. In my search for a decent microwave, Home Depot had lesser known brands and almost nothing in popular brand products. Additionally, when we found a nearby worker in appliances department he immediately said, " I will be back in a minute" that turned into 15 minutes later. Another worker came over and assisted us for about 40 minutes with a kind & helpful manner. Finally, we decided to try Loews. It was different, as night and day. Several discounted Samsung microwaves were available right on the sales floor to sweep away. Check out had enough registers open with barely any wait. Workers were pleasant, helpful and customer friendly.
Eileen Voss: I can't comprehend how this store is rated above a 2/5. The workers pretend you're invisible, if you stop them to ask a question they make it seem like it's a huge inconvenience, but aren't they are there to assist? I just need a refund on a product that they delivered broken. I was required to pay out of pocket for a repair person to verify it is actually broken and their fault. It took a month for them to answer and coordinate pick up. Now it's taken hours of my life trying to get them to refund my money on an item they already received back. A man, not a gentleman, I finally got ahold of on a call argued with me and then threatened to "hang up on me". I spent over an hour on hold to speak to someone and now you're gonna threaten to hang up cause I'm requesting a refund that you don't think I am entitled? But you already picked up the item. If you value your time, money, or sanity, go any where else.
David Hamrick: I recently made a lumber purchase and the price I was initially charged was higher than the listed price. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, he had me take a picture of the correct price and made he prove that I was charged incorrectly. In addition, this store has serious issues when it comes to customer service.
Sharon Harper: It's very sad that I live in Maryland and have to cross the bridge for certain stores. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I didn't get the light fixture I wanted but was told that on April 29th 2 boxes are due. I wish that ALL Lowes could have the same training 😕
Col Ma: This is about countertops through Lowe's from Granite Marble Express. Not one person has called me from the Installation department. I have called a total of 6 times and been spoken to rudely 3 times, hung up on twice and denied speaking to a manager. My negative experience with the order of these countertops and Lowe's customer service has become extremely stressful and costly (money and time). I've tried to offer a number of solutions such as: 1. get credit for the countertops and purchase a different one where there are no "variations". I can pay the difference in cost. (denied) 2. get refunded (denied) 3. get refunded and pay 20% restock fee (denied) 4. take a loss on the actual countertop and get refunded for the installation fee and $500 support beam. (denied) The process has been terrible. They didn't show up, then they showed up on the wrong day, then they say in order to schedule the install we have to purchase a $500 support for the 2 inch overhang (this is after we created the design and paid for installation). If we didn't pay the $500 then they can't install the countertop because it's a warranty issue. What can you do at that point but pay for it? Then, they get to house and the countertop likes "kinda" like what I chose despite talking to Zaya about the DETAILS (is it matte, how large are the veins, the color of the veins, the details, is it off white, cream or what shade, are the cut lines very noticeable, etc?). I made sure the details, that we paid for, were confirmed. What showed up was a "Variation" (Zaya's words) of what we chose. It looks like a cheap knock off of the actual sample and it was cut incorrectly. My payment of $4752+$500 was not a "Variation" of the price listed for these items. I immediately rejected the order and spoke with Zaya on the situation (2x) and she behaved as if she had no idea what was going on. Side note, Lowe's installer (finally called) said , if I wanted them to deliver, but not install the countertops, I have to pay a $150 transport fee. I want nothing to do with that company and their countertop. So here I am without money, a decent countertop, or any type of civil customer service.
Meta Davis: Outstanding customer service. Greater at the door "how can we help uou today? The young lady.in the lawn mower department went above and beyond to help us with our lawn mower purchase. They took the lawn mower we wanted on display down so we could see it. Then we purchased the E-GO lawn mower. Couldn't be happier! .Thank you lowes.

phoebe lots: Had an appointment for someone to come measure my kitchen floor for new tile. They gave me a 1pm to 5pm window so I took a half day off work. At about 5:15pm I got a call saying the Lowes representative would not be here until 6-7pm. He never showed up. No calls, nothing. I’m glad this happened because I can only imagine trying to deal with them once a project actually starts.
LN Perez: I've been calling the customer service line for this store for 3 days to schedule a dishwasher install and there has never been an answer. And each time, after 30-40 minutes, they hang up on me. It's so aggravating. I'm cancelling the order for my dishwasher and just ordering through Costco. The wait there to schedule an install was 8 minutes for me.

beyondTabu: The customer service is hit or miss. If you find a friendly CSR, they’ll show you where the item is, on the opposite end of the spectrum, they just point and mumble which is the majority of them. It has everything you need as usual. They just need to insist all staff are consistent with their service.
Syed Haider: Customer service is possibly the worst I have ever encountered. We had the terrible experience of speaking to a CSR by the name of Fabian. We had a simple question regarding some items at the Patio section, to which Fabian replied “are you kidding me? I’m not a carpenter”. We stated we weren’t mistaking him for a carpenter, rather seeking help regarding installation of the items as we were new to this. Fabian subsequently started reading prices off the rack as if my wife and I were mentally challenged. He kept uttering nonsense as we walked away. He was highly disrespectful and unnecessarily rude. I would definitely give this location a miss based on their unforgivable attitude. Thankfully there’s Lowe’s at Jermantown road which is a far superior choice for your needs and much better customer service.
Daming Yu: Terrible. Customer service really needs improvement. Bought two items online. Didn’t work. Brought them to store to return and was told all good. Didn’t check the receipt until I got home and then I saw the refund is only for one item. I returned the next weekend and was told I am too late. No apology. It seems the company’s service has been steadily declining in the past few years.
Christian Adams: Yenifer is an outstanding employee and helped me to understand the current active duty benefits Home Depot has. She was simple outstanding and helped me out so much. I’m shocked she isn’t a supervisor or manager knowing two languages and so much about the store.
Zora Domain: My rating isn't based on this part, but I think new people should know - The parking lot is terrible. There isn't much that can be done about the location but I think what makes it worse is that everyone moves without regard for one another. Cars, pedestrians, everyone. I have no idea why no one looks left and right and left again in such a tricky, dangerous spot. I was a little stressed before even stepping inside. Go slowly and carefully! My rating IS based on this part. I usually love coming to Home Depot, but after this first visit here I'm going to go to Lowe's instead from here on out. I came to pick up a few items and left with a lamp and some shelves. I understand that this is a hardware/home improvement store so things are bound to sit around for a while and get a little dusty but this was wild - they were so dirty. I wanted 4 of these command strip shelves and despite them being in this condition, I paid for them. Cleaned when I got them home. They don't work as well as the product ratings online would suggest, which makes me wonder if it's user error or because of how dusty they got. I'm not sure if stores like this are supposed to rotate stock regularly but if they are, then this is a pretty good sign that it's being neglected in some spots. Secondly, I overheard an employee being rude to an elderly gentleman who was having a difficult time finding a hardware product for his door. He explained very clearly where he had already looked and what he was looking for, but the woman argued with him and resorted to a very catty, "Well okay, we aren't looking in the right spot." Good customer service and common sense is to bring the customer to the product location. He was having a hard time, it made no sense to make it that much more difficult for him. I almost stepped in to say I'd just help him look if she didn't want to, but she finally, FINALLY took him down the aisle to look with him. Lastly, the checkout lines are a disaster and the employees didn't have a system to direct traffic. Tons of finger-pointing and yelling. All of the customers were confused on what aisle to go to. It was not a fun trip. I really hope that this Home Depot can turn around but given the parking lot situation, I value my car and my life too much to return lol.
stephanie wade: This is a horrible home depot store - the customer service has been terrible across every single employee I have interacted with over many visits. I keep going because it is close but no more. In my last interaction I spent 50 min trying to buy a grill with someone who told me they knew what they were doing and then after all that time did not and lied about what they could do, then when I tried to cancel my order they hung up on me and did not cancel it.

trey cyr: I bought a new refrigerator and paid for home depot to haul away the old one after installation. When they delivered the new refrigerator, they noticed an issue with the plumbing connect and offered to haul away the old refrigerator but I told them to leave it so we'd have a working fridge until we could have a plumber come out. Fast forward to the plumber coming out and installing the new fridge, I called home depot once again to have them come and haul away the old one and they rescheduled a new pick up. One week later, the haul away company home depot contracts out to said the fridge is "too big" for them to haul away. It is the same size as the new fridge AND is lighter than the new fridge. When I called home depot the helpline associate said there was nothing they could do, nor could they tell me what was considered "too large" to haul away. They could not recommend another hauling service either to remove the old fridge. When I asked if there was anything else she could do, the line cut off and she transferred me to the home depot after call survey. She basically hung up on me. When they originally delivered the new fridge they were more than willing to haul away the old one, but when I had them come back after the new fridge was installed properly they refused to haul it away, and home depot's "help line" was absolutely no help at all, and the associate hung up on me after asking what we were supposed to do with the old fridge left in our kitchen. If you ever use home depot's delivery and haul away service I highly recommend you ask them specifically what size appliance they will not haul away, because this information was never explained to us. I'm honestly not sure if we are even getting our haul away service fee refunded after the call because the associate hung up on us. I've never experience such poor customer service from such a large company.
