Embassy of Libya: what do users think?

Mohyedin Saadawi: I visited the embassy today in order to collect new passports of my son and grandson , the receptionist was a very nice lady who received me with the highest level of respect and professionalism she asked me about the reason of my visit , I told her about the reason and passed the receipt and the old passports and she asked me to take a seat while she went the check with the person in charge. . So far everything was normal, but a minute later surprisingly the door opened and another lady came with a tray that had coffee , a bottle of water and some biscuits on it . This was the real face of the Libyan hospitality . I here by would like to submit the highest gratitude , and I felt so honored and proud of being a Libyan after having this experience , two minutes later a very respectful gentleman came to me with the passports and asked me to check that the details are correct , shacked my hand and walked me to the door . What a professional way to serve the state of Libya and its citizens .

Asma Shaibob: They always responds to my call and answer all my questions. They’re professional, efficient and fast with any needed documents. I want to thank the lady who answers the calls, she’s so nice and helpful.

AJ Ong: They processed my tourist visa within a few hours of receiving my passport via USPS Express Mail. I applied when there was a brutal storm in the East Coast so I was pleasantly surprised that my passport came back enclosed in a ziplock bag.

Suhir Zabteyaa: Very good service!! Their website is simple and easy to follow. I didn’t speak to anyone, just followed the instructions in their website and sent my stuff. I received everything back in few days. Thank you!

Chelsea Dominguez: When are they opening to renew passports?

Ah S: They literally don’t care about any Libyan citizens here in the usa, and they don’t even try to help us in any possible way. Never answer any calls, and if the do no one can give any help, doesn’t matter how simple it is. I tried to reach them with every possible way email and by phone, they didn't reply. Over a 100 employees with ZERO services. Millions of dollars are being spent on these bunch of bustards every year for absolutely nothing. يا محترم انت وإياها اللي في السفارة لموا قجاجيشكم وسكروا وروحوا والله ما ليكم اي لزمة

chris scott: The last two years I have been to more countries than probably all but a handful of humans on this planet. That means a LOT of time working with consulates for Visa's. I have never been to a better one than Libya's. The staff there were all extremely warm, extremely helpful, happy to give me information over the phone (where most you cannot even get on the phone), and helped me out of an absolute bind that another embassy put me in by losing my passport. This team is solid. Thanks to all!

M Z: It says click on the link to register for the new passport. I clicked and found nothing available FOREVER. What a waste of my time.

mosco kh: this people don't care about Libyan citizens and the issues that they face living in a foreign country. I tried to reach them with every possible thing mail, email and by phone, they didn't reply.

Zuhair Elhassy: They never pick up the phone. careless and irresponsible. I wish I could give them ZERO star !

British Embassy Washington: what do users think?

Henry Myers: In 2018, future Royal guard Prince Henry present me with two sets of pictures revealing; "Elizabeth Barhite,"... Henry's 18k for coke wasn't good enough

Joanne Boice: I called with an important question today. The lady who answered couldn't have been nicer or more empathetic.

Sonny Ng: One of the larger embassy in DC, it's a labyrinth of stylish Georgian buildings, regal paintings and statues, even an ornate English garden in the back, definitely more than a pretty penny of prim and proper setting for teas and biscuits. The staff were polite and curt, kinda snotty in the subtle English way. I only did the visual superficial tour so can't testify to level of service provided by the embassy.

Andrea Rosario: As an American, I don't think I've ever experienced such an unresponsive embassy (the automated system literally hangs up on you). It intrigues me that British people put up with this kind of service.

gerard lyons: Had a great dinner here with wounded warriors foundation. The building itself is beautiful and teh Ambassador was a great host. His parents were visiting to from UK and we sat with them at dinner, such a fun older couple!

christine savage: Very un informal no help at all

Nadya Taylor: Wow. It is true that if I could leave negative stars I would do so. You can't speak to anyone on the phone, consulate transferred me to a message not a real person. When I emailed them with a simple question whether a green card holder would need a visa, they responded that they do not handle visa questions at Washington location and I can call and pay so much per minute plus a cost of phone call to get some help.

Matt Warren: No idea why so many of the reviews of this place are negative. I lost my passport and wallet whilst travelling the USA. Booked an appointment for an Emergency Passport online, followed the process and they even mailed me my Emergency Passport to a hotel I was staying at later on in my trip so that I could continue my plans. I had no issues using the Emergency Passport and the Embassy were even helpful and responsive to me when my scheduled flight out of Miami was cancelled (due to Hurricane Irma) and I had to get a flight out on a different date.

London Eevee Tokyo Ebisu - Swanslade 恵比寿-スワンズレイド: I like visiting the British Embassy, because we'll I am British and I live in New York. Whenever I'm in the Washington DC area I always visit. The place is excellent, clean, and the staff are polite. The building is beautiful too. I just don't get why everyone else has a problem!

Julie Kuhl: I have ONE simple question and what do I get? I get the worst British accent and a circle of nothing and I mean nothing. I need a working number for the Gov.UK. HM passport office. I got more information, better information from the United States immigration offices but I did not get a working phone number. What is the deal? Are they not here to help us? Seems to me that they, like the American government are off this week! I am so frustrate. If anyone has the correct phone number for the British Passport office please post it, post it anywhere, post it everywhere! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Embassy of Benin: what do users think?

Emmanuel Ngu: Absolute disaster! Called in this morning after several unsuccessful attempts yesterday, with a question on how to obtain a visa to Benin. A lady finally came on. She was revolting to say the least. No clue in public relations, extremely rude, and does not even have the patience or time to listen to what I have to say. She hung up the phone on me three times before I could tell her that I was looking for a visa to Benin.

boris agassounon: Good 👍

Vickey Videgla: Great services with fast response. Good job!

Laurent Dossou: Got my Visa in 72 hours. Good job!

Will Wlly: Nothing professional over there!

Embassy of Czechia: what do users think?

Mia Speight: I went here for a model call and go see. The staff was very punctual and friendly. The interior was very clean and well maintained. It was also very thoughtful that they served refreshments. Lastly, the was a unique art exhibit on display.

Shan Zhu: Very friendly and helpful staff within nice environment. Went there on Friday for visa and sent it back on the next Monday. Surprised by their efficient work!

Robert Bisby: We were fortunate enough to get guidance and answers for our travel requirements from Martina in the Czech Embassy in Washington. I cannot say enough about her kind and gracious attitude. She was so helpful and so polite. Martina has that wonderful blend of professionalism and personal warmth and sincerity in her character. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Martina. I highly recommend asking to speak to Martina when needing answers or guidance from the Czech Embassy in Washington.

William Hollings: I applied for my visa to live in Czech Republic at this embassy and it was a smooth experience. I showed up early for my appointment and they saw me immediately. No long lines, or numbers on a screen as I've experienced in most government offices. I was missing a document, and the representative there did not send me away. She gave me instructions to mail it to them, and she still accepted my application and began processing it. If I had to call this embassy, a PERSON answered the phone immediately to answer any of my questions.

S. Bek: Terrible customer service at visa section of the embassy! Very rude tone, reply and extremely disrespectful and impatient when I asked just a few questions regarding short term visa to visit Prague. On top of that, the lady I spoke to does not seem to understand my questions well and tried to make me look stupid as if I don’t understand what is going on. Especially, when she kept repeating “as i told you” when she seemed herself not to understand my questions clearly. Seems like she tries to make callers feel as if they are begging her to issue a short term visa. Is she an angry person or rude or impatient, or does not like at all when people call her to ask questions...I don’t know what think. As I called the first time, I believe it was the same person, she answered the call in Czech language and as I don’t speak Czech language, I politely asked her ‘can I speak in English or...’ when she snapped at me saying ‘or what???’ After talking to this lady, I am rethinking whether I should travel to Prague or not because if she is the person who issues visas at the embassy, I am not sure if I want to deal with her attitude and rudeness in person since I already find her to be extremely disrespectful on the phone. Very very unprofessional! Type of service I would never expect from the embassy! Hope it will be seriously considered by embassy employers and will address her attitude when she deals with people who call embassy just to ask few questions about a visa.

Trexy P: Went to get a last minute Schengen visa. Went there on a Friday at 8:30am, was done by 8:37am! I received my passport with my visa the next Wednesday. The people who work there are professional, they don’t do small talks or try to be friendly. They just want to get the job done and that’s it. I am perfectly fine with that because it makes the process faster. If you have inquiries, you are better off sending an email than calling. They are responsive in emails than calls. Overall, I was just glad that they processed my visa so fast!

Jessica Z: Nice staff and efficient work! The officers in the Czech Embassy are super nice, and we spent only 15min per person to finish the visa process, and they sent back our passports in 3 business days! Also, the location of the embassy is easy to reach by car, and there were plenty of street parking when we arrived in the morning. FYI, it's more convenient to live in the north or northwest of the Czech Embassy, so you can avoid the crowded DC rush hour in the morning.

Jeff Rogers: We are still awaiting our long term visa to be issued, but appreciate their thoroughness and desire to make sure everything is correct. Their emails were clear and response time prompt. Hana has been very gracious and kind as we await our long-term visa.

Vlog Of Beans (BenzNipay): I got my passport back (with visa) after 3 days! I was surprised how fast they came back. The officer, Hana was very accommodating and professional and she helped me with the process. I am so excited to travel to Czech Republic and experience their culture!

Zhuohong Xie: 5-Star service! We applied for Schengen Visa on Tuesday and received the passport in the mail today. The street parking was easy to find. When we arrived, we were the only ones there and no need to wait. We two in and out in 15 min. The email communication was smooth and the staff responded timely and in a professional way. As a government agency, They are definitely on the top of the tier (did I tell you about Germany Embassy? Don’t go there!). Be sure to bring a USPS prepaid envelope so you don’t have to pick up in person.

Ahmed Ibrahim: Professional, fast and easy process. Very friendly and welcoming office. Every person I talked to had a smile on their face. It's good to see my people again, felt like I went home. Thank you for everything 👏.

Filsan ahmed: They never answer the phone. I don't know why. How can we know if it is open or not if they don't answer the phone. I was keep calling almost a year and still no answer.

Uber Eats: (Translated by Google) I called almost 30 times a day for a renewal of my passport, the telephone operator an Asian who is chosen to lie to people, answers me once a month in addition she never stops lying, first of all, she to me said that the procedure takes 4 working days then the consulate will call you and even send you an email for the blah blah blah, the 4 days have passed, and I have reached the 4th month and still no response from the consulate. My country is not doing well. Ahhhhh If I could have put a zero ..... Olivia Nobbs: For anyone applying for a passport in 2022- mine took 4 weeks to arrive. Good experience overall with the DC embassy.

Raj Kumar Thapa: Do Australian Embassy in DC takes walking finger print appointment for VISA. I could not get answer anywherr, I called them 20 times no response.

ikolnookov: Australia is nothing more than banana republic!!!Returning Djokovic just showed how big kangaroos you really are!

Tarun Bakhru: for Indians living in USA, the wait for a business visa is 4-6 weeks. there is no way to expedite the application. Citizens of many countries are allowed to submit applications online but not Indians. (Even citizens of countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan are allowed to submit online applications to get their visa quickly.) After receipt of a paper application it takes 3 weeks for them to enter the application in the system. Secondly, the contact number they provide for visa inquiries does not work at times. even when you get connected, it takes about 30 minutes before someone answers your phone. the agents that answer your call don't know what the paper copy form asks for. They said they will contact me when my application is entered in the system. I had to remind them that they have not captured my email address on the forms to communicate with me. and guess what they told me - I have to send another paper application to tell them what my email address is. For Indians living in India, the embassy charges a hefty $1000 to expedite. This option is not even available to those living outside India. All in all, a very bad experience with the Australia Visa application. I had to cancel my air tickets.

Austin Graff: The Embassy of Australia is a massive building in downtown D.C. on the edge of Logan Circle. Unlike other embassies, this one has a gallery open to the public. You'll need to go through security and have an I.D. ready, but once in, you have access to a small art gallery with some cutting edge art exhibits. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit. It's free!

Aiman Ibrahim: I dealt with the Australian Embassy in Washington last week. I submitted three passport renewal applications for my three children. Indeed, the Passport Office team is very supportive and friendly. They explained to me in very candid manner the need to obtain the correct size and type of photos, the requirements of qualified Guarantor, etc. The team makes you feel home in Australia. Many thanks to all of them.

Iram Ashraf: Worst experience I ever had in my life. The people here don’t even know how to talk with ladies. I came all the ways from Ohio to DC and the guy wo took pictures treated me as i’m his slave. He really need to learn manners first. I don’t know why Pakistan hire such people who don’t even know how to talk. And now even me he was also misbehaving with others. I saw an old lady and he was talking very rudely with her. I DON’T EVEN WANT TO GIVE ONE STAR

me now: A very interesting place . I was short on time , so did not get to see , or learn ,or talk to anyone , as I would have liked .I plan to go back in near futher , when I have a few hours , to spend . Thank you for allowing me to visit

Bianca Dean: Always very courteous and professional. They can't answer specific questions about your case however staff really tried hard to help me & put me on a brief hold to confirm with a supervisor a question I had.

Trent Price: Personally, I believe this should be the United States of America's embassy, with the rest of America being Australian soil. This will also bring good education, and good healthcare.

Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the United States: what do users think?

Dr. G P: Went here to renew my passport. The staff were so professional, kind and considerate. I felt very comfortable in seeing how they take care of elderly ones who sought assistance in their services. Felt proud of being a Filipino and at least felt at home to be in the Philippines even for a few moment.

Kristina. Lumapas: I don’t know when they have transferred but the office is not at 1600, it’s at 1617, just across the former. Got there at 8:40 am and was 2nd in the line. The employees arrived at exactly 9 am and they opened and let us in. The process was fast and smooth as I was the first one for dual citizenship. The clerks were friendly and gave clear instructions. There were only 5 of them attending to us because of Omicron variant surge. Our oath taking was scheduled at 1:30 pm that same day but because they were waiting for us to be complete, it started 1 hour late. It was fast and all questions raised were answered. Overall it was a good experience, place was clean, masks were mandated and 6 feet apart was implemented. The only downside was scheduling, it took me 2 months to get a slot. So to everyone trying to get a dual citizenship schedule, try on the 15th day of the month, that’s when they’ll open slots.

Nixxiii S: This is my first time renewing my Phil passport in the US and I am VERY impressed. I live in Japan for years and their Phil Consulate there is extremely embarrassing. At first I was nervous because I thought it would be the same here in the US but I was wrong. The appointment system can be frustrating but after that, everything went smooth. Their very professional, humble and extremely accommodating to my SO. I really appreciate your consideration with my case and took me in even I failed to confirm my appointment. You have no idea how much you’ve helped me. Kudos to your team!! God bless y’all.

Canola F: I am so disappointed with the Global online appointment system. I tried to book my passport renewal for several weeks but it always say fully booked. Then one day morning I was able to see available slot and booked it for 2PM. I was so happy I got the appointment eventually. But then when I get to the embassy my name was not listed there. The lady in the front desk asked if I received confirmation email of the appointment but I never received one, not even in my spam email. She said that if I don't receive confirmation email I will be considered a walk-in and there is no guarantee that I can be accommodated that day. This is not explained on the website. The system allowed me to book online. If they couldn't accommodate me the system should have not allowed the booking for me. Why do I need confirmation for that? This is really frustrating. Philippine embassy please do something to improve the appointment system. Don't make it hard and confusing for Filipinos to make the appointment.

Marilyn Bradley: The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. She was able to answer all my questions and allowed me to photocopy my documents on site for no cost. Be sure to bring a pre-paid US priority mail envelope for each passport. There are only 2-3 parking spaces on the street in front embassy annex building where processing of passport occur. Plan on 2-3 hours to complete the passport transaction. We used the spot hero app to find parking for $13 nearby.

Sheila: The services has improved, organized, and polite staff. My appointment for passport renewal was at 10am and I was done before 11am. I like how efficient they are now compared to coming in 2018 and spent the whole day.

Rian C: We usually renew our passports at LA/NYC, but since this pandemic started we have been redirected to consulates in the southeast US. For renewals, you HAVE to set up an appointment online via QLess. I won’t repeat what others said, but it really is a terrible way to get your appointment. I had to check daily (for weeks) early in the morning to see if a slot opens up or becomes available. I guess the only good thing about this is that you won’t have to wait in line for too long outside under the sun. Not sure about commuting, but we were able to walk to it since it was only a few blocks away, parking may be an issue too so plan ahead. Make sure to have all requirements ready, have originals and photocopies (they have photocopiers on site too), cash for the renewal fee etc. Weird thing was there was a renewal form online that I printed and filled up, but they still asked me to fill up a form on site. You have to at least get there an hour early just to let them know that you’re there because you won’t be able to get in, you just wait under the tree’s shade (no chairs) until you hear your name being called out. After all that, it goes on smoothly, it isn’t really crowded inside, it’s cool & clean, folks were really nice and accommodating. Estimated processing time was 4-6 weeks, we got ours in a month.

Amado Punto: Nag renew po Mrs ko at this embassy last March 2022 ng passport, smooth, easy and all staffs are Very professional.. all of them. Keep up the good work.Maybe not needed but I recommend having an ATM machine inside or accept payments with cards.

Maria Mann: It's clean and the staff here are friendly & accomodating. You can feel the Filipino vibe the moment you enter the building. Passport renewal is at 1617 not 1600.

Monique Queen Bartonico: It was a very good experience for me. Ang receptionist (Paula), was super helpful and approachable. Mabilis po transaction if complete documents mo and organize ka. Tip po, be there 30 min before your appointment para mas mabilis. First-camp-first-serve basis sila! Make sure na complete na yung fi-fill upan nyo. They will not help you with your application form since they’re busy with their job, especially po sa mga Nanay, Tatay, Lola, and Lolo natin. Bring extra copies, just in case. And bring original copies too, don’t worry they will ship it back to you. I can give 5 Star Review, yet one thing I didn’t like is maraming questions just for renewing… and some cases are controversial and personal. Again, in general it was a great experience! Keep it up 👍🏻

Embassy of Indonesia: what do users think?

Avik Dutta: Amazing architecture outside the embassy of Indonesia. You can visit the statue from the outside. Just park the car off street and watch this great statue of Devi Saraswati the goddess if Education and Music and art and craft according to the Hindu Mythology. It is very close to Indian embassy. A must visit place if you are in DC and have some after watching other important destinations. Highly recommended.

Rebecca Guo: Had appointment at 11 and waited until 1. There was only one worker, and she only served one family (2 adults 4 kids) for the two hours we were waiting. I understand that 6 people take a long time, BUT, in the middle of the serving she walked around the Embassy twice leaving the family waiting. Then disappeared for 30 mins leaving the family waiting. When we asked her for an estimated wait time she rudely told us to shut up and stay in line. I wish she had a name tag so we can report her to the Embassy!

Kyle D: The inside of this embassy is absolutely stunning. The detail to attention, carvings, trim, moldings, paintings, just gorgeous! There is a beautiful wooden carved organ that seems to be well kept. Indonesian people are so friendly and welcoming! I have gone to Bali several times and it truly is an amazing experience. Photos as of May 2019

Ayi Njh: Calling the embassy many time to take care of my son's passport. No answer then one time i got a call from one of the embassy staff named Ibu Gaby informed me that my son's passport is ready to be picked. She is such a nice lady.

Merchant Marine: Occasionally I’ve worked at the Embassy of Indonesia 🇮🇩 here in Washington DC as a Security Officer and the Employees have always been friendly and outgoingThey’ve always provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere towards me and have helped me to feel comfortable while on my Post

Hadi Utara: Is embassy closed? I tried to emailed and called but never go through. This is very stressful. I don’t know what’s going on? I hope I’ll get their reply asap. I need make appointment for renew passport.

Mimi Sains: I try to call many many time the phone is always hang up and no one try to answer the phone , need to ask important thing about renewal my paspor

Pakeezha: Breath taking by the architecture and details inside! The employees were SUPER friendly!

norys 90: great customer service, friendly and very helpfull. Highly reccomended

Jordy wilson Supit: I came to renew my passport. They staffs were so nice. Especially the woman in the front desk (i forgot her name, it was probably irma), and also Mr. Victor. They work professionally and fast. I feel like they have a really open-minded Indonesian culture. Thank you for helping me out today. God bless

Lynn Elena Torbay: Horrible. Honestly, this has been the worst experience ever and since them giving me a visa, it has been a downfall. I've applied in the past to several shenguen visa, especially to France. Not once was my visa rejected. This was the third time, and they only gave me 20 days while I was supposed to go for a long visit, and the date written in the passport (expiration dates) were not the same as the dates given. It seems they wanted to create confusion for the sole purpose of confusing the applicant, for them not to re-apply next time or get a refusal. I am definitely never applying for a shenguen in Belgium. The experience has been aberrant.

Daan Jaspers & Maya Dobbelaere: Came by for new passports for 2 of our family members. Staff was courteous, professional. they guided us swiftly through the needed administration and had a photo setup on location. Passports arrived within 10 days. Very pleased with the service.

Sandesh Jain: One of the most professional staff I've come across. Diligently helped me through some complex documentation requirements. Quick process, and very friendly staff.

Olivia Y.: Beautiful Embassy. was fortunate enough to visit here with a group and learned a great deal.

amir shoja: The staff is courteous and friendly. They are willing and able to converse in whichever language you prefer, be it English, Dutch or French. Their graciousness is just a foretaste of how the tourists will be received upon their visit to the country, especially Ghent. I have to share my bias, as I am an expat but I felt home.

Sonny Ng: Large, boxy embassy of no architectural note but great interior decor with lovely giant 19th century tapestry, with an attentive professional staff who are obviously very proud of their country promoting it at every turns and is what makes this place stands out among their neighbors. It's one of my favorite embassies to visit in DC, well deserved five stars!

Romy Sergi: Mrs Snoecks is incredibly professional, reactive, very quick, always there to help you and so efficient, she is UNBELIEVABLE !!! Her services are impeccable!!! Thank you very much Mrs Snoecks,

Amadou Oury Diallo: How can they denied people with green card? Who will leave the US and go live in Europe? My friend visa been denied while he got all documents. They will not refund your money too so they all there for your money.

Arash E: Very friendly and organized!
Response: Thank you for the review. We are happy we could help you!

Sean Higgins: I sent a letter regarding a school project a few weeks ago. I was looking for some information about the country, they responded with a letter containing there country's Wikipedia internet address. The letter had errors in spelling and grammar. An example is the miss spelling of the word success. I am Very disappointed in Belgium's Washington D.C embassy.

Embassy of Micronesia: what do users think?

six ricepack: I want to bring the negotiations to the table! When i get the job in Washington, i will be addressing those frustrations! Lack of information and cooperation makes life here in the U.S even harsh! We need more organizations and more visits from our representatives! Costs of living skyrocketing! Health care failing to cover some Pohnpeian or Micronesians. We need to reevaluate ourselves in a land where we have all the rights too!

maria olmos: The gentleman that answered the phone has no phone etiquette at all, lack of customer service ( which he stated he’s not customer service), very rude-raising his voice ( not understanding my concern) especially coming from this office, representing all the FSM citizens.

Ek nd Maagz: Been calling for about a month now. Still no answer. WTH is going on. Help and support our lovely citizens.

Nessa G: You would get more positive reviews when you answer the phone and actually do your jobs and help the Micronesian citizens....

yallboi FOXSIN: Disappointed...cant even answer a phone call

Embassy of The Republic of Tunisia: what do users think?

Khulood Ayari: All what I need was done in few hours ! They did their best ! I went there just to renew my passport but I went back home after having Tunisian birth certificates for both of my kids And Tunisian passports for both of them as well And my new passport 🇹🇳🇹🇳 I can’t be prouder ! Thank you Si Sami !

maher dimassi: I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, if i can give zero starts I would. As an international student who hasn't seen his family in months these guys are a joke, they dont ick up the phone and when they do its to tell you to call you back, I got a complain for not using an A4 paper are you kidding these people are the last thing from serious, if you are planning on getting your passport renewed here I highly recommend you just throw it in the trash and never see it again personally that feels like the equivalent to giving it to this embassy. Overall highly disappointed they dont provide information, lots of slack, honestly the perfect 0/5.

Mahmoud AIDLI: Mr. Sami did a great Job. Very courteous and Polite. I got my passport delivered the next day. Thank you for your help. Tahya Tounes

Daly Maamer: They seemed collecting a pay check and staying home, they never answer phone calls or reply to emails, this Embassy should close for good, no need for your services, a shame

Fay Abed: if I can give them zero I would have. They don't even answer the phone! it is just ridiculous!

Badis boussetta: Absolutely fantastic service, they received my old passport, renewed it, got everything done and resent it to me within 3 days.Very responsive to the phone calls too.Special thanks to Slah Zouaghi for his help.

Eva Luna: They did Ella great job !Proud Tunisian

Mar Iem: I renewed my passport in less than 6 days. A gentleman from the embassy called me one night at 9pm asking for some information. He was nice and helpful. Two days later, my passport was delivered. Thank you!

My Dream: Label Created, not yet in system: A status update is not yet available on your package. It will be available when the shipper provides an update or the package is delivered to USPS. Check back soon. Probably most of us are familiar with this message, 6 months and never changed !

Dorra Doula: Honestly, GREAT service 😍! I called to get informations about renewing my passport . A very nice lady named EMNA answered my call, she was so helpful and extremely kind. Thank you for your help and keep up the good job guys 👏🏻

Embassy of Cameroon: what do users think?

Brian Viyof: I can't blame the embassy people, they are doing their best to satisfy customers. Some of you commenting think that because you are in the USA, things must go quick as said. Have you ever tried renewing a green card or doing any document relating to citizenship in the USA? it takes more than 6 months to go through and up to 1 year or more for you to get it. Please, always exercise patience and know that people at the embassy are human beings too. I can guarantee anyone reading this review that contrary to all the negative comments, there has been great strides and the customer service is better.

Christina W: Updated to 3 stars: My passport was shipped back to me. If you are planning a trip to Cameroon, please plan for a month for them to have your passport. Also note, your dates for your visa will be exactly what you put on the application, so if there is a delay, you can't just push back your trip by that many days. ------ Unfortunately, like other people who have posted, the Embassy appears to have lost my passport. It is basically impossible to get anyone on the phone. No one responds to emails. And no response on Facebook either. I will miss my flight as it's now too late for my passport to be sent. The instructions said 7 business days. It's been 3 weeks with no holidays. I can't even get them to simply respond if my passport is still at the embassy. The receptionist, the 2 times I was able to reach her, just kept telling me I had to be patient and talking with a tone like I was ruining her life by calling.

Danielle Dieguen: Can you give zero? I was travelling with my son and send our passports for visa. The few time I got someone on the phone, they told me they received and was processing it. I started the process earlier so that I had enough time not to worry like the last time. Little did I know. A month later, no passport, no visa. I adjourned the flight hoping I will get lucky. Two weeks later still no passport and no one to provide you with information. One person says. Oh it was sent, you track it, nothing. The other, ooh we have no information. Till today, I have not received neither the passport, nor the visa, nor my money back. The worse ever. What are they doing with people passport.

Roger Johnson: Worst experience ever...I thought that I was the only one having problems with receiving back my passport and visa. I submitted my documents in May,(expected turnaround time, I gave them 10 days) did not receive my documents...called and was able to speak with a female in the office and see stated that it was mailed on June 1st, still have not received my documents...I called back to inquire about my documents and see said it had no tracking number on it and became angry, got loud and hung up on me. There is something fishy happening with people's documents...I wonder are they providing our documents to friends, relatives 🤔 it may be time for a Fox 5 investigation

Emile Esapa: Calling them will never go through to anyone so stop waisting time to call. On the other hand, just mail your documents to them and follow the instructions without any mistake and you will recieve them back or with a response promptly with the 7days or time frame mentioned. IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU WON'T HAVE ISSUES. FAILURE TO DO SO, WILL LEAD TO DELAY AS THEY MENTION ON THEIR PDF FORMS. Just got my visa🙂

Elvis Afumbom: Excellent Service from the Cameroon Embassy in Washington DC. please guys if you are applying for a Visa to Cameroon. Please make sure you follow the instructions on their website strictly. Keep up with the good Work.

zoba adrian: I AM DISSAPOINTED THERE IS NOT A "ZERO " STAR REVIEW. The lady answering the phone on the Consular/Visas Section at the embassy is soooo frustrated. I don't even know how to put it. She needs to be FIRED!!!! How can you treat your OWN people like that??? HOW ? IF YOU READ THIS. I just have ONE question. Only ONE. WHY do you talk to people like that and hang up on them even when they are NICE to you ? WHY ? WHY EVEN TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT? Is that the image of Cameroon you are displaying ? With such a behaviors you can't go nowhere. NOWHERE! NOTHING GOOD WILL COME OUT OF IT WITH SUCH BEHAVIORS!!! I am so ANGRY, there are people displaying such a wrong image about Cameroon.

Cynthia Wabo: Total disgrace!!! Sent my kids passports for a visa application 6 weeks ago. We got an email confirmation that they got approved 5 weeks ago but the passports still haven't been shipped based on the tracking number provided. Called nonstop, emailed no response. We purchased our flight tickets already and we don't know what to do...

Manto Ndongla carine: I have been calling for 3 days to book an appointment for a passport unfortunately no one to answer my calls 😕 😫 I am expected to book an appointment but how do I do this if my calls aren't answered? Just wondering how the experience will be when I finally go for my biometric. So frustrating dealing with my beloved country both home and abroad. I have NEVER called any office here in the USA without my calls being answered at the 1st or 2nd ring. We can do better.

Moddibo: This is the worst embassy in the world. You clearly said on your website no visit can be made without making an appointment. I’ve been calling for months but no one ever picks up. Whoever is in charge needs to be ashamed. This is not the way to represent Cameroon.

Embassy of the Republic of Malta: what do users think?

Morgan: Melanie was super helpful during the entire Maltese citizenship process electronically and when I went to the embassy. Great experience and the turn around time for citizenship was so quick!

Jennifer Portelli: My experience has been with Melanie and Bonnicci and I only have the utmost respect and kind words for them..Personal yet professional work ethic , as well the ENTIRE team I dealt with all work so well together. Then again, the Maltese Culture is amazing.

Anna Gerber: The most rude personnel that I have ever seen. They judged and made the situation stressful during the interview without any respect to my small kids around. They never pick up the phone to counsel an applicant. Visa requirements that are given on website are unfair. Pay for everything, prepare every single arrangement, but then they will refuse your case and don’t cary any responsibility and even do not pick up the phone to simply counsel. If something wrong with people’s documents, explain it nicely without judging and humiliating. Very disrespectful and unprofessional personnel. Do not want to even visit this country only because of this humiliating visit to this embassy. It makes sense about the country as well.

Romona Foster: From a tourist perspective, very nice. I was there on a tour, for travel agents, to the Embassy of Malta.

Embassy of Slovenia: what do users think?

Gigabit: Hi everyone. That was awesome. It was EU Embassy Open House. Very welcome environment, great wine and food, awesome music.Definitely would recommend.

Jamie Bierst: The embassy has a modern architectural design, and on the day of the open house, many delicious little snacks were served. What a treat it was to taste pollen (!) and honeys, and to learn about the green philosophy of the Slovenian people!

Drestrangeo: I was going here because I needed a passport here and one of my family members had a problem with the fingerprint scanner and even though we were on a time crunch the worker that helped us there managed to get it working. Total amazing experience!

Michael Lai: Newly renovated with a huge back outdoor patio. I came here for embassy week and they were showcasing their customs and food! The food was a bunch of wine and cured meats. Super delicious. Street parking available.

Alexis Bernstein: Had so much fun at Halloween here. Thank you!

Greta T: Even though the embassy is not that big on the inside, it has nice atmosphere and great arts made by Slovenian artists.

pizza steve: Great friendly people. Amazing country if your ever get the chance to visit.

Sharon Neil: Very professional and worked with me to complete requirements to travel to Slovenia for work.

Alex Matveev: I call you for a whole month!! Sent you emails with answers! No answer whatsoever!! DO 👏🏻YOUR 👏🏻JOB 👏🏻

Skorppy: (Translated by Google) I'm FOOTED. We visited the Slovenian embassy in Washington. Amdasad invoked herself and gave us an hour. At 14 o'clock. She worked well for us, she was kind, I have to be honest, but nevertheless. We tell her that I had a great desire to see the White House from the inside. The employee says that it would be fairly possible if the ambassador went with us. I expressed this desire in November 2018, now we are March 2019. Abasador knew about my desire and did not invest any effort. He did not even come and say hello, let alone offer us a glass of water or coffee, tea. Whatever. We say employees that we are on foot, that we walked a lot. The weather is very cold. She did not offer us to sit, she did not offer us anything, nor a glass of water. Thank you very much for this kind of Slovenian hospitality. I say frankly that I am very WESTERN, outraged and affected. This attitude of the abasador, as employees, seems to me unprepared, even if I ALL PAY THOSE CITIZENS AND CUSTOMERS. Shame. (Original) Sem OGORČEN. Obiskala sva slovensko ambasado v Washingtonu . Amdasada nas je sama povabila in nam dodelila uro. Ob 14 uri. Odkrito povem ,da sem zelo BESEN, ogorčen in prizadet. Tak odnos abasadorja, kot zaposlenih se mi zdi nespremljiv, sploh zato KER VSE TO PLAČAMO MI DRŽAVLJANI oz davkoplačevalci. Sramota.

Narik: Always polite and professional staff, we sent our passports by mail, when they got it, they invited us , 5 minutes and we have our extended passports 🙏😊 It was a nice reason visit DC

Nurmyrat Hapyzov: I mailed my passport yesterday and today a fine gentleman reached out to me to confirm that they received the document. It was a very polite gesture. Maya have answered my questions several times whenever I called the embassy. Thank you all for everything guys!

Tazegul Aslanova: Spoke to Embassy on 2/19/2021 (Berdi) and received detailed and full information on how to proceed with our issue. Very polite, friendly and client-oriented. Thank you for good job! Hope the Embassy will re-open in the nearest future and we will be able to safe time to deal with everything faster and without third parties involved.

Inna Babakulieva: I am amazed with how polite and respectful the embassy staff is - they answered questions over the phone, emails, and even followed up afterwards. We submitted the application requesting to expedite the visa-issuing process and it seemed they had our visa processed in the matter of hours. I can not thank enough for being so responsive and understanding. This is the best representation of the country. Thank you again for the best service.

Sakina Ahundova: Thank you Embassy of Turkmenistan for your professional, outstanding services! Embassy of Brazil in Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

constance price: If you need consular services in the DC area, for visa etc, see: cgwashington.itamaraty.gov.br
Response: Correct, thank you.

Karen Karras: They don't answer the phone or respond to email inquiries about tourist visas. it is easier to get visas to China and Russia. The other south American countries do not have such an elaborate system to keep you away from visiting their country.

Joe McSherry (Joe): Worst expereince of my life. They obviously hate Americans and make it almost impossible to obtain a visa there. They make you buy plan tickets ahead of time before they will even except an application for the visa. Then they will make you wait 2-3 for an appointment in person for the visa. Then they will make you come there in person. Then they will make you wait in line only to tell you you paperwork is wrong. Rude people working there. Very disturbing attitudes.

MHZ Zoia: Embassies take care of diplomatic matters, Consulates process documents (VISA, etc). Instead to call them, read the information on the website, do your homework, plan your trip in advance and, you will be able to solve your problems in time. Very often people get frustrated because forget to plan in advance.

Juliana Granado: Why can nobody answer the phone ever!?I’ve been calling every single week at various times - if everyone should be vaccinated by now, why it isn’t open until now?
Response: (Translated by Google) Dear Juliana, to contact the Consulate General in Washington, we recommend writing to cons.cgwashington@itamaraty.gov.br The Embassy does not offer consular services, and the Consulate General is a separate and independent mission.

Thayse Lima: People, this is the address of the EMBASSY , which takes care of international affairs with foreign government bodies, not the CONSULATE,which takes care of visas, documents and such. About wait and difficulty with visas: usually these rules are bilateral. Go ask a Brazilian how they are treated when applying for visas in US consulates in Brazil. Ask how far they have to travel to even apply for it.
Response: (Translated by Google) Thank you, Thayse. (Original) Thank you, Thayse.

roland matthews: Under renovations throughout buildings. Great in house restaurant and friendly staff.

FightsWithASword: If you are applying for a visa you must go to the Consulate General of Brazil located at: 1030 15th St NW Washington, DC 20005 Their hours are very limited, so make sure you get in early.

Shawn Allison: Terrible service. No one will answer calls as noted in several of these comments. Yes, I am sure most people have gone to the website and read the information and understand it, but sometimes you might need one point clarified.

Lara Picanco: The Embassy of Brazil has many events and does a great job promoting things of interest to the Brazilian community and others in D.C.!
