United States Capitol: what do users think?

Zay McCullough, MSW, LCSW-A: This was the last major attraction I saw during my one week trip here from 12/28/21 to 1/4/2022. You can see the Capital Building from several blocks away. I actually remembered I needed to stop by because I saw it after exiting the Children’s Museum. It was a little after 5pm when we made it there. We say the reflecting pool, which is wider but shorter than the reflecting pool between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Unlike the latter, the Capitol’s reflecting pool isn’t easily accessible to stuck your feet it. The view, however, was still nice. This was my first time being in DC since I was in elementary school. It was extremely awesome to see the Capitol building. It was ironic that I had just watched Olympus Has Fallen on TV in my hotel just a day prior. Unfortunately, the perimeter of the building is gated off due to the events that transpired a year ago. I’m saddened to see that public access still isn’t available. Of course COVID is an added barrier to tours. Going inside is something that I wanted to do. I did not go to the visitors center that is close by as my son was ready to go back to the hotel, lol. There was a large Christmas tree in the lawn area between the capital building and the reflecting pool. Many people were taking pictures and appeared to be having a good time. I was grateful for the experience because I talked to my son (8) about what goes on in the building, the legislative bodies, and etc. I’m sure he’s forgotten everything we talked about but he can say he seen it in person whenever he does learn about it in school.

Ganindu Madhawa: A place where one can probe into the political history of USA.It is an iconic place and you need to reserve tickets beforehand visiting the place. You will be provided with a guide who give descriptive analysis of the architecture of the place and historical events. 😊

Yusra Nabeel: Such a great experience visiting one of the US symbols. Great place with beautiful reflection in pool.

Ali Shajarizadeh: This beautiful building is a must-see for everyone who visit Washington DC. The building has a long history. The place is where many important decisions were and are made that affects the world.

Nas Sol: The in-depth history of this iconic building is grander than I expected! A true beautiful from the exterior to the interior. I got a sense of appreciation after leaving from here. It can get very packed though so it's recommended you start your day early to beat the crowd. A must see when you're in DC!

Stephen Butler: My first time taking the tour. Our Representative arranged a VIP tour. It was very small and personal. There’s no cost, but if your going to take a tour book it in advance. It takes about 3 hours or so. It was worth the time. Please hit “Like” if this was helpful. Thanks.

Ben Henderson: Really enjoyed the tour inside the Capitol building. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Really interesting history and beautiful inside. Liked the fact you can then walk through a tunnel to cross over to the library of Congress which again was beautiful.

Keith Roussel: Visiting the Capitol building is fantastic experience. I visited with my family and it was a great opportunity to see some of our nation's history as well as the seat of power of the legislative branch. We booked a tour in advance from out state senator Ted Cruz. Our tour began at his office in the neighboring senate building. From there we took the underground trolly to the capitol building. Our tour guide took us through the various parts of the capitol biding explaining the building, decoration and history. After the tour we were able to view the senate and house of representative chamber. Each was unique. The House had a live reenactment of typical chamber proceedings which was nice, but once the reenactment was finished, we had to leave. The senate on the other hand had no reenactment, but we would stay as long as we like. I sat therefore a while attempting to etch the experience in my memory, which I personally valued more.

blade Galletta: This is a must visit in Washington D.C. The capital building is absolutely gorgeous. In the spring time there are many flowers and trees surrounding it to make it even better. The fountain in the front is very unique and perfect for pictures with the building. They have gates up with guards so you can't get really close. I think they do tours but you would have to research that on the website.

Isabelle Tran: Beautiful architecture from the outside. Recommended to book in advance for a tour. The park outside is a beautiful place to relax after a long day of touring, including some cherry blossom trees.

Expert Shoe and Luggage Repair (Orthopedic Lab): what do users think?

lyn blatch: Cannot say enough good things about this place. I took in some boots and asked to have the toe cut out as I was in great pain. The results were just terrific. People tell me they love my boots:). So I took in two more pair and they also look great. Cannot believe how wonderful my feet feel!! I am so grateful.
Response: Thanks for your review we added 15% off your next repair visit. We look forward t repairing for your again.

Antony Evans: I never once said or acted like a loved the job done to this purse. After receiving the item back with pure disappointment with it being very crooked at the top and uneven I had no choice but to except the work that had been done to it nothing could be changed at that point. When I Initially brought the damaged purse to you guys the owner was demanding and slightly aggressive upon my request. The woman in there was very helpful and was the only reason I went ahead and did business with you all. Never again. And I would never recommend it to anyone else. I’d like to have a refund and you all can keep this purse because it looked better ripped up and broken then how it looks now. There also some sort of oil stains on the back of the purse referenced in the 3rd photo attached.
Response: Good Morning, Antony Can you let us know what the problems is why you rated us a 1 star without review? I have you in our system you drop off a very small suede green purse July 16th the purse was ripped bad. We repaired it with new suede and made the cover for the purse. You picked it up July 30th 3:30pm from the owner. He showed it to you and you stated as showed in our footage you loved the work. You thanked us and left happy. We understand we can't please everyone but we do try our best. We Understand if you got home and had a change of heart. Thanks for your business have a good day. If something went wrong with the purse please bring it back so we can make it at your satisfaction.

K Munir: I have patronized Expert Shoe Repair for at least 15 years. The proprietor, Mr.Joe, and his staff, are exceptional craftsmen (shoe dyeing, repairs, etc.). I purchase high quality expensive shoes and only trust Expert Shoe and Luggage Repair to perform work on them. I am always pleased and never disappointed.
Response: Thanks Mr. Munir for your continue support and business. We have added 15% on your account for your next repairs.

CJ “Hefe” Flood: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueHe did an amazing job on my wife’s old bag. Just in time for Christmas.. Fast and Great work!!
Response: Thanks CJ I added 15% on your account for the review.

Judith Henderson: I was about to throw out these boots, but wanted to see if they could be “rehabilitated”. I have a very wide foot and have great difficulty in finding extra wide, moderately attractive footwear. Joe, Tina and their team not only saved this pair but restored them to look like new. very happy feet!
Response: Thanks for the review we added 15% off your next repair

Lexi Harned: The experience I had with them was amazing! I mailed in a vintage Louis Vuitton bag that needed a zipper repair, they took care of it within a few days and sent it right back and the zipper they used was high quality! You couldn't even tell it had ever been ripped in the first place, the stitching was great. I already recommended my mother in law to them as she also needs a vintage bag repair that she has been trying to get fixed for years but couldn't find anyone! Will definitely use again if any needs arise. Thank you!
Response: Thanks and we're happy you found us. I added a 10% off your next repairs on your account. Thanks for the business.

Miriam Soliman: This place is AMAZING!!! I brought them 2 pairs of boots and the heels were worn out to the wood part and the front was frayed. 3 days later I receive an email that my boots are ready and they looked brand New! Honestly they deserve more than 5 stars, the service, work and price was all fantastic, I will be dropping off all of my shoes.
Response: Good Morning Miriam thanks so much we appreciate your business and please note you have a 15% discount off your next repair on your account. Have a wonderful holiday. Tina T, Store Manager

Kay Wingle: Positive: QualityExceeded my expectations. Sent my vintage Gucci purse for zipper replacement and they did not only replace it but cleaned and conditioned the leather too. Their work is clean. I'm a happy customer and definitely will be sending my other purses for repair in the future. Thanks Lexi Harned for recommending.
Response: Thanks Kay, I wanted to give you 15% off your next repairs but I see Lexi Harned sent it in. You can call me to create your account 202.362.6681 Tina or go on our website and complete the form. I will create your account and add 15% off repairs for whenever you're ready to send in repairs. Let Lexi know I added 15% on here account also. Thanks have a Happy Holiday!

debra nicholas: Critical: ProfessionalismI have been a customer for over 35 years. Was fond of owner and his father and happy totally with the results. The customer service they hired is consistently hostile with an attitude. I don’t think they are represented well.
Response: Thanks for your review sorry you feel that way. Our customer service is very important to us. Our store manager/counter lady is very friendly and hopefully to all customers for over 7 years now. We understand everyone has opinions we will make sure moving forward you are helped by the owner (Joe) only. Have a great day and happy holidays to you and yours.

Bruce Truitt: The repairs to my baseball cleats, luggage, and wallet were done expertly, quickly, and thoroughly, and the customer service was tremendous. They did a fabulous restoration job on an 80-year-old alligator bifold coat pocket wallet that belong to my father. It was split and falling apart but they breathed new life into it. See the photos!!!
Response: Thanks for the review and your business. I add 15% off each item for repair on your account.

Marine Barracks: what do users think?

Kaitlyn Schnellbacher: Visited for the Evening Parade with family to watch our Marine. Had an amazing time listening to the history behind the parade and the fantastic performances of the The President's Own United States Marine Band, The Commandant's Own United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Silent Drill Platoon. From before the performance where the Marines greet and answer questions to the performances and afterwards when you get to interact with the distinguished guests, the Marines, and Chesty XVI! Definitely worth coming out on a Friday to enjoy a performance. Reserve your tickets ahead of time to choose a section but there isn't a bad seat in the house!

Kenneth Birkhofer: As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, it has been on my bucket list to visit Marine Barracks 8th & I. Today I made it happen and had the opportunity to reflect on the history and tradition of this monumental landmark. What an incredible experience; Semper Fi and God Bless my fellow Marines, all service members of our military, and the United States of America.

Arohra Lights: I loved this place. Full of culture, history, and motivation. The Friday evening ceremony was amazing and choked up during taps. Make sure to reserve your tickets in advance!! Everyone should go if you are visiting the DC area.

Dale Morrill: An amazing experience for all. The oldest active USMC post in the world. Get your tickets in advance online. Give yourself plenty of time to park and arrive. I found it just as easy and faster to walk from the parking location on M Street versus riding the bus. All of the Marines are extremely kind and helpful. The parade lasts about 2 hours. Marching band, Silent Drill team, Marine Corps mascot, honored guest(s), lowering of flag, Taps and more. A true honor to witness.

c walter: I would give this more stars if I could! If you visit DC, you have to attend this event! I can’t say enough! I wish I could post videos for you all to see how fantastic this is! I attended the event for July 4th. No better place to be than in our nation’s capital during this time of year-very patriotic.

Jason Harrold: Semper Fidelis! To all those who served in the beloved Marine Corps, to those who are currently serving and to those who will one day step onto the yellow footprints Semper Fi and thank you for your service. I was privileged and honored to attend a night at the Marine Corps Barracks. the Oldest and most prestigious barracks in the corps. The performance of the Marines was spectacular. I rode my motorcycle across the US from Los Angeles to DC for Memorial Day and this was a HUGE Highlight of the trip. If you are a Marine, you need to visit.

Isaac Holt: This base is the oldest USMC installation in the country. The Marine Barracks is the source of the name of the area it is situated in, Barracks Row. Every Friday evening during the summer try host an event called Evening Parade which lasts about an hour long. This event features lots of impressive drill movements and songs, all of which have a historical background much like the installation.

Rakim Means: Being a Marine and going to this place for the first time was a great experience. This place has a lot of tradition and history. We got to take a tour of the barracks and see the Commandants house. It is a little bit weird watching the Marine walk around in the camouflage uniform while out in town.

Gabriel Garcia: This is a great place to visit. Every Friday starting in May the Marine Corps put on a great show. This is the best of the best Marines. I know occasionally a special guest will make an appearance. On the day that I attended the VP of the US was there. Again this is a great place to see whether you are military or not. Go and support of Marines.

Austin Graff: On the south end of Capitol Hill's Barracks Row is the longest standing Marine barracks in the country built by Thomas Jefferson in 1801. Within the barracks is one of the oldest houses in the city built in 1803 to house the commandants of the entire Marines. The commandant still lives in the house. From March/April through August every year, the Marine band puts on free concerts on Fridays for the community. All are welcome!

Embassy of Slovakia: what do users think?

Eric Skypala: I am hoping to immigrate to Slovakia and had a million questions that I sent them via email. Viktor answered them all very patiently and assisted me greatly. My appointment was today and Stanislava was awesome to work with. She was very friendly and great to work with. She too answered many questions from me, and made a potentially nerve-wracking experience very smooth and easy. Thanks VERY much to you both!

James Hurka: The embassy staff were amazing and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were all squared away. The ladies there even worked through their lunch break to help us. Excellent service and great people. Two thumbs up is an understatement.

Dr. Robert Zimmerman: Great food, the best falafel! Also the gyro egg rolls are a must!

Wikina Smajdova: Very good

Viktoria Mochnacky: Thank you very much for the professional customer service of Consular Section employee in regards to my passport application, for her expertise and advice. Very professional, yet friendly, sweet and warm down to earth person. Thank you

lubomir firko: Cool. As far as I know this is the only embassy in DC that sits directly above of the subway line.

J Karolsky: My passport appointment went great. People working there were very helpful.

Amir Bar-Maor: The best customer service one can expect. Pictures and finger prints are all taken during the appointment. Thank you! Ďakujem

don madar: Super helpful and efficient!

The George Washington University: what do users think?

Quinn Peters: This university is ruled out as a possible location for my children to attend. As long as that fraud of a justice Clarence Thomas has a professorship here, I’ll never give this place a red cent and I’ll pray every day for it’s ultimate failure.

Dominick Withanachchi: Love the way its situated. If you like a university in a big city, this is one of the best.

SusanTerry Beverly: A lovely city campus. However there are signs of vandalism showing. Let's be cognizant of our surroundings at all times and put an end to this type of behavior immediately.

Ittipat Prapaprasert: Known as 'G-dub' or 'GW', this university has been a bedrock of Washington identity since its founding in 1821. Besides shaping much of the American political landscape, GW has shaped the capital itself, buying up town houses on such a scale that it is now the city's second-biggest landowner after the federal government.

bayazid ahamed: George Washington, the first President of the United States, advocated for the establishment of a national university in the U.S. capital in his first State of the Union address in 1790 and continued to promote this idea throughout his career and until his death.[8][9] In his will, Washington left shares in the Potomac Company to endow the university. However, due to the company's financial difficulties, funds were raised independently. On February 9, 1821, the university was established by an Act of Congress first as Columbian College and then as Columbian University, making it one of only five universities in the United States with a Congressional charter. The university's undergraduate and graduate schools includes the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, the Elliott School of International Affairs, the GWU School of Business, the School of Media and Public Affairs, the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, the GWU Law School and the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design. GWU's main Foggy Bottom campus is located in the heart of Washington, D.C., with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank located on campus and the White House and the U.S. Department of State within blocks of campus. GWU hosts numerous research centers and institutes, including the National Security Archive and the Institute for International Economic Policy. GWU also has two satellite campuses: the Mount Vernon campus, located in D.C.'s Foxhall neighborhood, and the Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Loudoun County, Virginia. GWU is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very High Research Activity".The university offers degree programs in seventy-one disciplines, enrolling around 11,000 undergraduate and 15,500 graduate students. GWU is home to extensive student life programs, a strong Greek culture, and over 450 other student organizations. The school's athletic teams, the George Washington Colonials, play in the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference. GWU also annually hosts numerous political events, including the World Bank and International Monetary Fund's Annual Meetings.[14] The university's alumni, faculty, and affiliates include 16 foreign heads of state or government, 28 United States senators, 27 United States governors, 18 U.S. Cabinet members, five Nobel laureates, two Olympic medalists, two Academy Award winners, and a Golden Globe winner.GWU has over 1,100 active alumni in the U.S. Foreign Service and is one of the largest feeder schools for the diplomatic corps.

Garth Hedley: Amazing complex, beautiful buildings and friendly atmosphere.

Steven Zimmerman: an outstanding University for our son to obtain his Masters in Public Health

Anthony Scott: While the food was descent, the service was so so. Once the cashier finally paid attention to us and we were able to order, she was very friendly. But prior to taking our order, she continued to talk to another employee and chat about non work stuff and ignore customers. The sweet potato fries and grasshopper shake were very good.

frfrpr: Can't believe the University has not addressed the rat infestation problem. Scary

Taylor Fain: Very disappointed in their response to covid. Forcing students who have children to go back into classes of 150 people. Very irresponsible and not taking safety seriously.

Embassy of Rwanda: what do users think?

Love In Action: Big improvement! Clear explanation, patience, fast services, call back almost immediately when you miss them, etc...... I can't be happier!I really feel home. I now see the importance of having a country and a good president. Well done staff at the Embassy of Rwanda in Washington D.C. ❤🙏🤝

Julienne Uwingabire: I called the embassy today to check on my passport Renewal application. My call was answered right a way and the person who answered the phone was helpful. However I’m a bit disappointed on how slow the service is right now. It doesn’t make any sense that I have to wait on other people to schedule their appointments so that I can be able to schedule mine. If people are not scheduling their appointments, I don’t understand why not opening those slots for people who are ready to schedule their appointments. I also wish there was a waiting time frame.
Response: Julienne, thank you so much for your feedback. We can assure you that we are doing all we can to schedule all inquiries in a timely manner. However, as you may know this has been a growing list due to the lock-down and safety measures by the District of Washington. We just very recently resumed in person appointments i.e. biometric collection appointments as part of the phase 1 reopening, and we've had applicants who've been waiting to schedule their appointments since March, which we've scheduled for July and August. We understand that there are some urgent cases and are sensitive to those and we are doing all we can to be accommodating to these cases, however, we are also scheduling on a first come first serve basis. In the event, there were a time slot opening we wanted to be able to offer it to you, however if you want a definite time frame, the whole of September (Mondays and Wednesdays) is available and would be more than happy to schedule you for then.

Judy BAMY: Now I had to update my review to 5 stars because everything is perfect now!!! Thank you so much Rwanda Embassy for great service!!! They responded to my calls and gave me clear explanations needed! Even when they couldn't respond they called me back within a short time! The person on phone for passport is very nice and very patient! God bless you!!! Keep up!!!

Rachel Maluba: Poor poor poor so bad the customer service are so terrible, rude, and disrespectful. The first thing is they never answer the phone calls, second, they don't give you the answer you want, third they don't know how to take care of people who need help trying to find something. Seems like they don't know what they are doing in that office pls get new customers service
Response: Hello Rachel, we're sorry to hear you felt you did not receive the assistance you were hoping for, and that we missed your call, usually we have another caller on or helping someone else or another engagement. If you left us a voicemail with your name and number we will return your call. We return all voicemails in 24 hrs or less. Or you can also email us your inquiry at info@rwandaembassy.org and we will get back to you in a timely manner.

Lydie Iradukunda: My experience was really good, they were very communicative and the whole process of passport application was quick and smooth.Thank you

Emmanuel Bahizi: They responded to my email promptly, although at first they didn't fully answer my questions. I mailed in some paperwork to them and they got back to me all within one week including shipping time, thanks to Frank Kayijuka for his service. It was smooth and painless. One frustration and the reason I didn't rate them at 5 stars is because I called them many times during office hours and they never picked up. This is the Embassy of Rwanda; standards are and should be very high. I was happy with the service but there is room for improvement.

Gideon Kwon: If I can, I want to give 0 star. Some people said in review that their service quick and fast. I don't understand whom they talk with. My experience is terrible!!! My son applied for visa and send last Tuesday. Because my son's flight is this week Wednesday, we applied expedited process (4day process) and need to receive before flight. So we sent 5 emails and called them more than 20 times to ask finishing visa process ASAP and send to this Tuesday. They never responded, never called back. Fortunately, I have a friend in Washington DC so he visited there on Monday and he found that they even never take a look our documents which they received 3 days ago! They said to my friend they will review tomorrow. Tomorrow is Tuesday and my son have flight Wednesday. Are you kidding? So lazy those people. Even worst one is, when my friend ask them to give my unprocessed documents to him, (because we need passport at least for flight) he gave my son's document(SSID, passport...) to my friend without checking anything of my friend's information right away. Even didn't ask to show his identification. Are you really Kidding? If he was some kind of bad broker, what would happen? Embassy represent their country and these Embassy people ruin their country's image. What a shame!

Ryan Benitez: After visiting probably five times over the past two years, I can't say enough good things about this office. Simply put, I have left in a better mood than when I entered. The staff has seemed genuinely concerned with helping solve my problems... even when my situation is complicated and creates more work for them. The staff's professionalism, friendliness, and love for Rwanda have all been evident. Specifically, Cathy has been a joy to work with. She is radiant, friendly, and helpful. Vianney and Elodie have also been generously willing to offer their time and expertise, even when I didn't book their time in advance.

Egide Murisa: 3 WEEKS ONLY! Took 3 weeks from day I took the biometrics scan at the embassy to receive my passport in the mail. This is a huge improvement from the previous process. The only suggestion I have is to provide more options for biometrics scan to minimize travel and lodging expenses. Maybe 3 biometric centers; the one in DC, one in the West (California/Oregon), and one in the Southern states (Texas/Oklahoma).

Bijou Umuhoza: I got my paperwork processed in less than 30 minutes. Very pleasant people. Very clean office. I didn't even have an appointment and they helped me with a smile! Kathy and Frank are awesome, if you need something done ASAP give them a call😊

National Archives Research Center: what do users think?

Stacy A: Worth at least one visit to celebrate US history. See the Declaration of Independence, constitution, and bill of rights. Room is dark and cold to help with preservation. No photos allowed at all. Entry was simple enough once I found it and staff was quiet but helpful.

Shine Thomas: Washington DC is a land of museums. You have a lot of places to visit in DC which has a huge number of historical archives. This was one such place with a lot of artifact's to see. One would need around half a day to cover this place, that too if you do it in a hurry. The place has so many sculptures and paintings, including Ginevra de benci the only paining of Leonardo da Vinci in the United States of America.

Rodrigo Gonzalez: An impressive building which was made to preserve the national documents. In the exhibition, you can see The Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. Congratulations to the staff and curators for such an impressive place. I recommend it.

Dez Davis: Beautiful building and so many things to look at. However, the security personnel are extremely rude and yell constantly. Also, it is a complete free for all to try and see the documents. Everybody crowds around the documents and stands there forever, not allowing anyone else to see the documents. Need to execute a better option of allowing everyone to see the documents fairly.

courtney edwards: The worst place I’ve visited in DC. The staff was rude and pushy with the exception of the employees working in the cafe. I highly recommend visiting the cafe. I was also locked in the building for 10+ and not permitted to leave due to an issue that was not disclosed to guests. I would go to anywhere in DC again except for the National Archives.

Matthew Miller: In reality, you could make a very quick trip here and only see the most important things here--The Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. With a bit more time, there are other exhibits to see, especially if you are interested in the archiving process and what gets stored in the National Archives. For families with younger children the Boeing Learning Center is a nice place with activities and hands-on materials. The staff there are keen to explain things and are clearly devoted to their vocations.

John Neff: Security staff are a joke, while going through the security screening process two security staff screamed and yelled at my child. They soured what was an anticipated visit to see our nations founding documents into a terrible experience. The security staff needs to take a class on sensitivity training. What an embarrassment to our national treasures.

Wei Hsu: Amazing building and gorgeous architecture.

Nikoloz Gachechiladze: Considering that the place is free, it provides an amazing experience. You can see the originals of American Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and Constitution all within 15 minutes, if you have planned your route. There are other interesting exhibits, but these three are highlights and definitely worth a visit.

Abigail Carroll: What an amazing place. Though the entrance is a little confusing. It was surreal to actually see The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and The Bill of Rights with my own eyes. I wish we'd had more time to explore. Loved the gift shop

Embassy of Moldova to the USA and Mexico: what do users think?

Serghei Sosedov: Our family decided not to renew our Moldova passports after 10 minutes conversation with the Moldovan consul at the Moldova Embassy.

Alina: Quick reply with detailed instructions sent via email of necessary documents and process for applying for documents renewal.

Anastasia Zl: Overall good experience, make sure you get all the documents as per information from their website(even old passports that expired long time ago). Lady was polite, kind and professional and she processed my documents quickly. Is not easy to find an open spot for appointment but the secret is that you have to check several times per day as someone may cancel.

Zero Ulvoc: Been contacting the Embassy for some questions needed to be answered, no one seems to know exactly what they are doing as they always refer people to the website where in some questions need direct answers to be able to make the processing way faster. I really wish they put someone there that knows stuff and not just somebody who only gives you a sentence to solve your problem and also you don't ask back to a question given to you. Sorry but it is very disappointing!

Susan Parker: Called them 30 times!Couldn't reach no one! Had to go there , in order to acknowledge that the entire process of ID and passport will take 3 months!!! They wouldn't return my ID when I refused to wait 3 months, cause my passport wasn't expired at the time of my flight!!! A bunch of crooks! Disrespectful, arrogant, employee!!! The young man from the opened window believes he's the owner of all Moldavian citizens in US!!! Take a easy, you're the employee of those people, not the owner! Don't forget your status!

Vic NYC: I had a very pleasant experience here. The attitude is pleasant and professional. I applied for a new passport very fast and left satisfied. Pleasant people working here. Thank you.

D Marcu: Horrible experience. Voice mail full and doesn't allow any messages. Website appointments doesn't work , it says: No Slots Available .No email responses. I guess citizens are deserving this kind of service. God bless Moldova !!!

Alexandra Hartbarger: After a terrible experience with a couple of previous consulars, was pleasantly surprised with professional approach of Maxim. He went above and beyond to help my situation. Thank you, mr. Arghir, for your work!

at a: Professionalism, expertise and excellent service by Maxim made the entire process comfortable and a pleasant experience. Such a great representative of Rep.of Moldova. Right choice to have him as a consular. All the best!

Margo Rita: Horrible experience. The staff is unprofessional and rude they need some training. It was the worse experience I had in the United States.

US Government Accountability Office: what do users think?

Rose Merree: 6/20/2018 I have given the FBI everything. 4/20/2018 Hi GAO I have made it easy to see how 5 banks defrauded the United States Government & used the United States Courts to do it. They are telling on themselves in both words & action. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress. These lovely people research and provide Congress with information so I emailed this office telling it everything going on to my surprise this office CALLED me. The GAO wanted to be sure my rep in Congress knew so they would not be sending duplicate information which would slow down the process. GAO Thank you for what you are doing. 5/20/2018 Hello GAO I mailed you some records. Enjoy 6/05/2018 Thank you for the phone call. It really made my day. I followed your instructions.

Alliance Physical Therapy: what do users think?

Nathaly: Avisha was amazing in guiding and helping my recovery after a torn ACL. She's very professional and knowledgeable and I cannot attribute my progress without her assistance. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and courteous.

Ramona Crippen: I saw Avisha at Alliance Physical Therapy for six months after a fall that resulted in a bad tibia plateau fracture, and I was extremely pleased with their service and expertise. The front desk staff were easy to work with for insurance billing and appointment scheduling. The office is conveniently located in NW DC. The therapists and technicians made a very difficult time for me much more enjoyable. I was confident in their abilities and trusted their treatment. They did their best to make me comfortable while challenging me three days a week to improve. When I started with them, I was unable to walk and in a wheelchair; as I complete my therapy with them, I am walking again. I'd highly recommend them!

Deb F: Very happy with my experience at Alliance PT and I would definitely recommend them. I worked with Bianca, Autumn, Avisha & Andrew who all helped get rid of my pain! They all knew what they were doing! Everyone was professional, nice and friendly, including all the assistants and office staff. They are obviously all happy to work there which is always a good sign.

Kathy Kretman: Bianca is the best physical therapist that I've had, and I have been to many over the years. She is smarter than the podiatrists and orthopedists that I've had. She has worked with me on balance, core strengthening and most recently, a variety of feet problems. Her assessment of my issues is spot on. She takes great care to ensure the treatments work. And, they do. I am also impressed by the professionalism and warmth of all the staff, from the receptionists to the therapists and assistants. Simply put, I wish I could give Bianca ten stars -- she deserves it.

Todd Johnson: I've been working with Avisha who's been outstanding. She's very professional, knowledgeable, and has helped my issue with left foot drop etc. improve some already. I would also like to note that Roxana who works at the reception desk has also been great. If you're in need of PT Alliance is the place! Greg Johnson

Matthew LaBorde: I've been working with Alliance Physical Therapy for about 2 months now. They were flexible with scheduling. I was able to get a weekly appointment at 7am, which was perfect for work conflicts. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and good humored. I worked closely with Autumn, who was the DPT who originally assessed me, and I found that she is one of the friendliest healthcare professionals I've encountered. I also truly enjoyed my time with Bianca, Avisha, Andrew, and Gino. Gino is really good at making you feel comfortable while doing the exercises, and he is curious about your life and will remember your conversation from week to week (another rare occurrence among healthcare professionals) Each person I named adds awesome knowledge and strength to the team at Alliance, I always feel well taken care of and really enjoy catching up with the team. Overall, I always left Alliance with a smile on my face and feeling stronger week to week with my sprained AC joint. Thank you, Alliance!

Susan Walker: From the front desk welcome to the therapists who worked as a team to help me meet my goal of pain free movement, I have only positive things to say about the Alliance staff at the Washington Circle office. I am inspired by their commitment to quality care and personable service to all patients. I highly recommend this PT practice.

George Lewis: Bianca and team worked with me for many months to rehabilitate my shoulder after a broken collar bone injury. The team was excellent and provided many tools and exercises to help me return my shoulder to a normal level of activity. I really appreciate their patience and perseverance.

Sean Brosnan: If you are ever in need of physical therapy, I would strongly urge you to consider going to Alliance Physical Therapy at Washington Circle. I attended this location for over a year and a half due to a severe accident that required a lengthy and painful healing process. The staff were upfront and honest with me from the first days and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout the healing process. The therapists and aides are all caring, attentive, and, in my opinion, quite funny (though I wouldn't recommend encouraging Andrew or Marc). Though I was happy to have been rehabilitated, I can honestly say that I was more than a little disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to see the wonderful staff at Alliance anymore. If you should need Physical Therapy for whatever reason, I cannot recommend Alliance Physical Therapy enough.

Jameson: The whole team at Alliance PT is very friendly and that helps make rehabbing a thing to look forward to during the week. My personal experience is mostly with Bianca Bass, who has done a tremendous job helping me work on two sports injuries that remained unsolved by a handful of other people I had seen during college. Bianca's determination and knowledge is truly impressive, and I couldn't imagine seeing anyone else for a sports injury.

US Appliance Repair: what do users think?

Jorge Padro: Fast, responsive and stands by their work. My refrigerator started making noise again after they replaced my evaporator fan a couple of months prior. They came out and honored the warranty on their work. Luckily, the fan wasn't going bad after all; they just adjusted the plastic panels in the back of the freezer that were a little loose and the noise went away... no charge! Give this business a chance.

Julia Rudy: I called about a broken oven on Friday afternoon and it was fixed by Monday morning! I came very close to throwing the oven out because it's at least 20 years old but the Rep from Expert Appliance said it was an easy fix and I would probably have the oven now for another 7 to 10 years!! Very pleased. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

Khlil Mejdoub: I have an Edgestar washer dryer combo and I called every appliance repair company in the area but no luck finding a local company that works on this brand , I felt helpless until I called this company whom I was referred to by my colleague . I spoke to Franco and told me that they don't work on this brand but he will have Sam call me in few minutes . 10 minutes later I got a call from Sam, he said that they don't on the brand but he will be happy to take a look at it with no charge , we set up an appointment for the next day . He came out the next morning and looked at it , it turned out to be a failed drain pump , he ordered and few days later came out and fixed it . I'm very pleased with the experience from the minute they answered the phone until the repair was done .

saer khamis: Kal was timely, professional, knowledgeable, and most important, honest. He gave me a quote very quickly and educated me about the GE Refrigerator I was having trouble with. I really appreciated his service. I would use this company again.

Ben Jones: First visit was timely. Follow on visits were less and less timely, requiring more and more time to coordinate the final non-fix of a broken ice maker. Expecting a full refund at this time which is appreciated.

Conrad Washington, DC: what do users think?

Darsh Mirchandani: I stayed at the Conrad DC for a weekend and I was thoroughly impressed. When I first arrived the valet, bellhop and the check in staff were all extremely friendly, and professional. They made me and my family feel extremely welcome. At check in the staff recognized my Diamond status and gave me a room on a high floor with a beautiful view of the park. When we first arrived, there were minor issues but Rebekah Roberts (hands down the best staff member we encountered) was extremely helpful. The room and hotel were clean, modern, and spacious . I will definitely not hesitate to stay at the Conrad the next time I’m visiting DC.

Mike Finn: This is our very first time staying here. Lovely customer service, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a corner room it was really nice. Bathrooms are literally stunning. The lotion and soaps are of top quality. The gym was awesome no one there and pretty good size for hotel gym——Oh yea the estuary is incredible food, order up or sit in - they do require mask in common areas and upon walking in to check in….. I didn’t have a mask on the front desk person gently politely offered me a mask…… I mentioned to my wife how nice he was … having had very rude experiences in this matter this was a welcomed attitude. If I could give this hotel 10 stars ⭐️ I’d do it. We plan to look for a reason to stay here in the future 😀👍🏾

Gabriella WOWITSGOLDIE: This is our second time staying here. Lovely customer service, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are literally stunning. The lotion and soaps are of top quality I always ask for extra to take some home!! The housekeeping goes above and beyond. Anytime we are in town we will be staying here ! Highly recommend ! 5 stars. Oh yea the estuary is incredible food, order up!

Aaron: I stayed at the Conrad on a rewards stay and was very impressed. The staff was friendly and courteous, even in the midst staff shortages due to pandemic & a snowstorm. The location was easy to find and made walking to sights do-able. The rooms are luxuriously modern and spacious. They included accent lighting with bedside controls, elegant bathroom design, Nespresso machine, closet space, floor to ceiling windows with automatic curtains, insulation from the noise below, and great views. I really enjoyed the spending credit as a Diamond Member, which I used at the restaurant. It was great dining on the terrace, even in the winter. I look forward to staying at a Conrad hotel again in the future.

raymond burgos: Fantastic service, atmosphere, dining, and rooms.Very classy place. Super friendly and helpful staff. The decor is fabulous. Spacious, contemporary style. Each room has plenty of space with a great view. The location is unbeatable; shops, bars, restaurants, and everything between us are all within walking distance. I would stay again. I mainly promote the hotel's restaurants which I am passionate about. I will never promote something that I do not personally enjoy.

Mohammad “Mo” Mumtaz: Went to celebrate my anniversary and we had the most incredible experience. Jeremy at the front desk went above and beyond during our check in and through out our stay. Such amazing customer service and thoughtful attention to help us feel special and taken care of. Our room was clean and super comfortable! We had a gorgeous view of the city! Dinner at the on-site restaurant was also amazing! Our server, Ryan, knew the menu inside out and made lots of recommendations to help us decide on what we wanted! Super attentive throughout our meal! We had such a memorable experience and will definitely be back again ASAP! Highly recommend! ;)

Tyler Spindler: By far the best hotel experience I've had! We planned the visit for my daughters 7th birthday so we could visit all the museums and monuments, and the location was perfect. A 15 minute walk to the Natural History museum, and less then 5 minutes to some great family-friendly restaurants. What set them apart, though, was the staff. We got in early to see the museums, but Ernesto was able to find us a room at 1030 so we could unload. The whole front desk also went above and beyond when I mentioned my daughters birthday; when we got back before dinner, there was chilled bottle of milk, 6 little cupcakes and a bunch of balloons to celebrate her! We will definitely be back!

Chris: Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Very modern room. We had a room directly over the street on the 7th floor and found it very loud. The bath towels were very thin and scratchy, not something I expected from a 5 star hotel. Although the shower is quite large, the “rainfall” shower head was small and had poor pressure. Our breakfasts at Estuary were very good, and the service was great. I am a Diamond member and was not given an upgrade despite rooms showing available on the app. Essentially all monuments and museums are within walking distance of the hotel, which was very convenient. Overall an okay stay, though not sure I would return to this hotel.
Response: Hello Chris - We're sorry to see that you had a 3 star stay at our property. We apologize for the issues you experienced while here. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so that we can collect some more information about your room and stay. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.

Christine Malloy: We’ve stayed at the Conrad and have had great experiences. This trip we needed a few assists with our activities. The Concierge- Jeffrey Morgan was beyond helpful, enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable professional. Mr. Morgan helped us with tickets, reservations and all with ease and smile. There were a few minor improvements/suggestions mostly focused around replenishment from housekeeping (glasses etc). But when asked - they were extremely attentive.

Blvknative: This is by far the best hotel and hotel experience I’ve had in DC! The room was fine to perfection. Very spacious for a hotel room. Comes with a couch and a desk. They have this club called the Sakura Club, you have to book a special in order to get it! A little pricey but you’re definitely paying for all of the experience nonetheless! But the club comes with breakfast and dinner and comes with drinks and refreshments as long as you’re booked to that room! Hands down the best! The best views of the city and they have a really nice roof top! Right in the heart of City Center!

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Tesla: what do users think?

Brandyn: My brother recently decided that he wanted to check out a Tesla model 3, so one morning we took a walk to the Tesla dealership in City Center. We both were expecting to just take a look and nothing else, but we were extremely wrong. We were greeted by Juliana a Tesla advisor as soon as we walked in. Juliana couldn’t have been more patient with us, she went over the entire car and once she was done she invited us for a test drive. She was not pushy at all, but definitely showed a lot of passion when she started talk about the car. I highly recommend dealing with Juliana she was truly remarkable and my brother is extremely pleased with all the follow up she has done to ensure that his delivery will go smoothly.

Google User: Tesla makes great cars, can’t say enough about the company but the staff at the DC showroom was just rude. Employees are rude and very condescending. They were just huddled around their front desk chatting with each other and didn’t offer to walk us through the car they had on display so we were looking through the car blindly. Assuming because of our young appearance. There was one rep that was very thoroughly going through the details of the car with another customer, but we were never once offered that level of service. We later found out through their conversations that she was a reservation holder. Seems like the only way these reps will help is if they see $$$. No point of going to the store to learn about these cars unless you want to waste your time and be treated like you’re inferior. It’s better to just research on your own. Tesla makes awesome cars but their staff needs to learn the importance that great customer service plays in a business.

Wanda Chestnut: Yesterday I called the DC location to schedule a test drive of the Y model. I spoke to Matt who was very professional and set me up to come in within a few hours. When I arrived I was greeted by the staff. Matt was still working with another customer (I arrived a few minutes early) and he asked Shaun (forgive me if I spelled your name wrong) to take me to the car. This young man was cool, knowledgeable and professional! He answered my questions and provided directions on how to operate the vehicle. I was nervous because I had never driven an electric car before but he patiently explained everything that I needed to know! When I returned from test driving, Matt was ready, and we started the ordering process. In all of my car buying experiences, I have to say this was the fastest, and easiest experience ever! As Matt was entering my information, I would stop him if a question came to mind and he would stop and answer. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and satisfactorily answered my questions. He also walked me around to show me some of the accessories, specifically the charger and outlet options. In closing, I am a very observant person and appreciated how each customer was attended to as soon as the entered the store! I am happy that I chose this location, and can’t wait to take possession of my beautiful candy apple red Tesla🙌🏾🙌🏾

Taylor Nicole: Just had the worst experience. I needed help with my application and wanted to know a little more about the model 3. Two of the employees left out when I came in and the one that was left never got off the phone so I had to wait around for the other employee to come back, which was about 15 minutes. Once she was there she basically told me to redo the application on my phone and awkwardly sat navigating on her computer as I struggled through. I ended up just leaving with no real assistance. TWO other people came in and got served immediately and had a completely different experience than myself. I will never go back to this location ever again. BLACK AND BROWN people proceed with caution.

Matt Goldman: What is wrong with this location's phone? Is the ringer at a decibel only heard by dogs? I had a very simple question about my car and tried every single option on the pre-recorded message trying to get through over the course of a few hours and seemingly every single one of them routed me towards someone who views picking up phone calls as optional and couldn't be bothered to do so a single time. I called enough times to comfortably rule out the possibility that they were simply busy at the time, so I can only conclude this was pure laziness or that they just did not care enough to answer. This was also the case for several other locations, both stores and service centers, which is mind boggling and simply appalling for a company who I just bought a car from for $60,000 to display such apathy towards providing even the most baseline level of customer service and support. Teslas are incredible, but the service is amongst the worst of any company I have ever experienced in my entire life. Get it together and pick up the phone.

Dr. Meri Robinson: What an amazing experience. When you go for a visit or test drive as for Kameron, she is the best. She knows 100% of the information and she knows and showcases all of the cool features of the vehicle. This was truly an enjoyable experience, thanks Kameron.

Patrica McKenzie: The location was a mixed bag for me. I was straight up ignored for the first 45 minutes. The reps looked at me but didn't acknowledge me at all until they realized that I was not leaving. #CameWithAPurpose. Ultimately I test drove the vehicle and ordered it that day. Responsiveness from our rep, J., has been lackluster at best but to God be all the glory, we are getting it done! Count down to ownership.

swati patel: I made an appointment to test drive a car and had planned on putting in an order to purchase one today. When I arrived, I was told that they didn’t have any cars to test drive. I told him I had a confirmation email and he said if they don’t call it’s not confirmed. How is anyone supposed to know that? An emailed confirmation means you’re confirmed. Absolutely useless and wasted time when I could’ve gone to another location.

Asma Gammoudi: I tested all the cars, the personel were really nice and I helped them in filling in a survey,We discussed a lot also about green energy it was educational and fun !

Michael Goodman: Bad service, uninformed, lazy staff. I scheduled a test drive. They didn't show me around the car, didn't even offer. They even incorrectly answered some really basic questions that I verified later. I scheduled a test drive and specifically wanted to test the self driving feature. It was disabled for my test drive... I told them when I got back, they seemed to not care. Also, they didn't check for an ID or a license before the test drive. Doesn't impact me, but really doesn't seem like the greatest corporate security let alone the danger someone can do.
