Twist Pilates and Fitness: what do users think?

Joanne Conroy: i first met Ryan in 2008 when I joined a local Pilates studio after relocating from NJ. I have been training in Pilates since 1998 and Ryan is one of the top instructors i have worked with. He is really knowledgeable about the kinetics of our musculature and the impact on posture and function. His workouts are always a challenging mixture of strengthening, stretching and balance. I left DC in 2014 but try to train with him whenever I am in DC!

kathe williamson: Ryan is a fabulous trainer and Pilates teacher. He gives his clients amazing personal attention, listens carefully, and makes every workout challenging and different. His knowledge of anatomy and the requirements and needs of many different sports is a wonderful combination. While his specialty is Pilates, he’s also helped me with weight training, walking, TRX, and has lots of experience in martial arts. I’ve been to a zillion exercise teachers over the years, and he is one of the very best. Georgetown/DuPont Circle is lucky to have him!

Thomas Gottschalk: I have had Ryan as my trainer for nearly ten years. He is terrific. Very knowledgeable, pleasant, and easy to work with. Knows several different exercise regimes, Pilates, TRX etc and is very good at solving strength and pain issues, as well as developing overall fitness. He really understands anatomy and how one muscle or ligament affects others. Tailors your workout to your needs and preferences.

Matthew Buzby: Great place. I found it kind of by accident as I was just searching for a Pilates class. It was something I wanted to try out but there were so many studios and individual coaches it was hard to tell which one was right. I saw an ad for Twist and I checked them out online and really liked the philosophy and stories. I tried it and was pretty much hooked. Ryan is a great teacher and explains everything in detail. He is patient and very knowledgeable about how the body moves and connects. He will help you work on improving and never pushing yourself too hard. But it is a workout and I am sweating at the end of each session. But also feeling very relaxed too.

Bettina Richman: I had never tried Pilates before coming to Ryan. Soon I absolutely loved it! I found myself getting stronger and the back pain that I had for years began to subside. Having experienced back issues of his own, Ryan was particularly awesome at adjusting exercises to make them appropriate for my situation. I would highly recommend anyone experienced or not to take a class with Ryan!

Cindy Cisneros: Looking for a great Pilates studio and teacher? Check out Ryan Hodgkinson in his new studio space at 1560 21st Street, NW in Dupont Circle. Ryan is a longtime Pilates instructor, personal trainer, and martial artist with extensive knowledge in physical health. He helped me become stronger and increase my body alignment, especially following invasive major surgery. His clear enthusiasm for his work also helps support his clients in achieving their health goals.

Carol Wakefield: Ryan is the very best pilates instructor. He tailers your workout to meet your bodies needs. I have been going to Ryan for over 8-years and highly recommend him to anyone who wants to remain fit throughout their lives.

District Pilates: what do users think?

Grace Caldwell: The best Pilates in DC! I have never in my life looked more forward to workout classes. Everything is wonderful.

cassandra smith: This place repeatedly wins best of DC because it is the best Pilates reformer studio anywhere. And they are the most affordable reformer studio in the area. The teachers are EXCELLENT, the classes are small and tailored to your needs, and they have tons of top of the line equipment that you don’t find elsewhere, including the chairs and the towers. I’ve been going since they opened and I’ve never been stronger and leaner.

Grace Fennell: Born and raised in DC and this is by far the BEST pilates studio I have ever been to! Bailey is an amazing instructor who not only really takes care of all her clients - but makes pilates entertaining! If I could go everyday, I would!

Maryann Chan: I came to District Pilates for both mat and reformer classes, and had Laura as an instructor, who was great! She was very knowledgeable and helpful to our class. It seemed like many of us had athletic backgrounds, but the exercises (especially the reformer ones) were challenging, and I definitely got a good workout in. I would definitely recommend that others take classes at this location!

Jessica Bedour: Best studio and instructors in the city, HANDS DOWN!

Holly Sparks: Hands down the best Pilates studio in the area!

Stella Fortier: My favorite Pilates studio.

Master Gardener: Excellent location and good experience for our staff

Amanda Bernstein: Love

Reformation Fitness: what do users think?

DC Techie: Wanted to love the class/studio but had a mediocre experience. Few modifications provided during abs class made for a precarious situation for first timers. Teacher did not seem to notice anyone but the regulars. Room was packed. The sequence went too quickly. Given the class type, may have benefited from less moves or more repetition so we could work on form rather than struggle to get set up. Positives: clean studio with water dispenser and lockers. Variety of classes offered. Good AC and cool temperature in classroom

Bonafide Experiment: IMO, this is the best gym in DC. Love the energy of trainers and attendees here. The trainers are inspiring, professional, and attentive to each one’s posture and growth. They also have a supportive community where you feel welcomed even when you come here for the first time. I have been following their virtual classes but can’t wait to go back and take pilates classes when the summer ends.

Allie Medack: Awesome classes. Every time I go, I know I’m going to get a great workout. Whether you’re a beginner or someone who has worked out for years and loves to be pushed, the instructors tailor the class to your intensity levels and needs. This is my favorite studio in DC.

Lauren Kane: The trainers know you by name and it feels like a community. Any issues with passes are resolved swiftly and effectively. Really awesome staff. I moved from around the corner from the gym to all the way out in Maryland and I will still gladly drive the 40 minutes to go to a class at Reformation Fitness any day.

Caitlin Baker: The workouts are always well thought out and challenging and the teachers are awesome. The studio has a great community feel and the prices are reasonable. My favorite workout studio in DC!

Excel Pilates DC: what do users think?

William Trapmann: Since I began practicing Pilates at Excel Pilates DC, I’ve improved my core strength and flexibility overall. Feeling stronger and more capable provides a degree of personal confidence that I find quite gratifying. The instructors at the Excel studio are knowledgeable, as well as helpful and encouraging. Their interest in my performance inspires me to try harder. It also helps that they all seem to have the patience of Job. I’m a senior citizen and I’ve had my share of sports- and exercise-related injuries over the years. I appreciate the expert guidance and oversight provided by the instructors at the Excel studio. Their expertise imbues in me a confidence to attempt challenging exercises that I probably shouldn’t even consider, much less attempt, on my own. Thanks to the instructors, I have surprised myself more than once with what I am able to do. After a workout at Excel I feel invigorated. My energy levels are higher and I feel satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. Good health and fitness are not things that simply occur—I must work for them. I believe that if you want to be active, you must stay active. I recommend Pilates at Excel Pilates as a good way to be active for almost anyone.

Alix Myerson: +The Excel Studio has a welcoming environment with friendly, knowledgeable certified Pilates instructors. +Diverse clientele from across the city and suburbs encompass all ages, backgrounds and abilities, including those in recovery from major illness. +For the past two years, my weekly private sessions with Michelle Mendelson have made an enormous difference in managing serious chronic back pain. +++I highly recommend Excel Pilates!

Louisa Buatti: While I have only taken Reformer classes here, I found the instruction at this studio top notch! Teachers have many years--if not decades--experience with the Pilates Method. Administrative staff members are friendly, helpful, and responsive. The studio is bright, airy, and very pleasant overall. I recommend it highly to anyone interested in studying classic Pilates!

Lois Nembhard: Very welcoming atmosphere. Everyone I have dealt with has been helpful and pleasant. The instructors make a point of remembering your name and are really attentive (whether one-on-one or in a group class). I’ve learned a lot and plan to keep going.

Francie Israeli: Spotlessly clean studio, small group classes, very individualized instruction. Excel adheres to the classic pilates methods. Jacqueline is a super instructor! Highly recommend.

Maria Salvadore: Thanks to Excel Pilates for consistently having exceptional staff, always responsive and talented in a supportive enviornment., I credit them for lessening my back issues and for overall feeling stronger and more resilient.

Fuse Pilates®: what do users think?

Caroline Cunningham: Just returned to Fuse Pilates after a three year break and several injuries. Working out with Tori and Liz made me feel strong and resilient. I literally cried after class today knowing that my entire back was moving again and in a careful and meaningful way. I forgot how good Fuse teachers are they really help you build your strength while listening to your needs. ONWARD!!!

Bela Leao: Fuse Pilates is by far my favorite studio in DC! I truly enjoy the classes as well as the availability of different instructors and teaching styles. The instructors are creative and fun, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and ability to work with our individual needs. Very importantly, they ask about any injuries and help people modify, if necessary. The owner is also amazing and passionate about pilates, certainly conveying this passion to her clients. Moreover, the studio’s customer-focused approach ensures the delivery of a superior level of service at Fuse.

Erin Darbouze: The studio is beautiful and the instructors are the best in DC. I feel safe, supported, and always get a great workout. I cannot recommend Fuse Pilates enough!

Laura Cilmi: I absolutely love coming to Fuse Pilates! I leave feeling fit, accomplished and less stressed. And then the soreness kicks in! The instructors are knowledgeable and will help each student based on their needs. The owner is amazing and will work with each student to find the right package for their individual goals.

Whitley Cargile: I took a private pilates class with Dani at Fuse and she was awesome! She gave great modifications for my injuries and the class was the perfect difficulty level. Definitely going to become a regular at Fuse!

Monette Melanson: Fuse is great. I have been taking classes off and on here since 2008 in its various locations but when COVID hit, they immediately began zoom, and it saved my sanity. I take pilates mat classes almost every day and have for the duration. The instructors are all excellent. The workouts are varied. It’s just never boring and I always feel invigorated after a class, no matter who the instructor is. They also offer a variety of machines classes at their studio on 14th St. Give them a try! They are fabulous!!!

RTR Pilates - Palisades, D.C.: what do users think?

Marie Lee Song: The ultimate pilates place! All the instructors are truly excellent. RTR has been doing wonderful jobs during the pandemic to keep the facility safe and clean. Personally I love to work out with Janine as her design of the 50 minute class consists/emphasizes not only toning and stretching, but also building up muscles and strengthening the entire body. Also love her slightly faster pace which makes students fully engaged and excited, and her explanation/tips on how each form should executed- I have better understanding now and enjoy even more.

Isabelle Drake: Every instructor is patient and gives one in one support as needed. The actual workout is excellent for building strength and flexibility - different instructors allow for varieties in exercises which keeps things fresh for students. Scheduling classes is easy and convenient with the RTR app.

Emily Doyle Knarr: I attend class at RTR 3-5 times per week, and I cannot say enough positive things about it. All the instructors are excellent, and you have many options to tailor each class to your level. The instructors are constantly introducing new moves so that you do not get bored. My strength and flexibility have greatly increased since starting Pilates classes, and working on the reformer is much better than floor Pilates. I highly recommend RTR.

William Minor: RTR Pilates remains the best choice in the area for Pilates. The facilities are great, the teachers are wonderful, reserving a spot is simple, and the classes are challenging.

Colleen Doremus: The instructors are all excellent and the studios have been a sanctuary during the last year. They have done an amazing job of keeping them all clean and I am grateful for everything they do to make it possible for us to continue to attend classes.

Tatiana Williams: RTR Pilates always puts the client first. They have gone above and beyond to keep us safe and have the studios clean. All of the teachers are well trained and friendly as well. If you are looking for a full mind and body workout, RTR Pilates is for you!

Amie Burke: Don’t hesitate to give RTR Pilates a try. The instructors are great and there are a lot of choices for class times and locations. Check out the web site for a lot of information. I started out as a beginner and with the help of the instructors have greatly improved. Amie Burke

RTR Pilates - Chevy Chase: what do users think?

Deborah Lathen: They are professional and knowledgeable. They offer classes suitable for all ages and focus on making sure that you do it right. The instructors are good at showing you how to modify things for ad knees, bad backs etc. I’ve been doing Pilates consistently for about 6 months and have noticed improvement in my posture and less lower back pain. I’m a true believer. Thank you RTR.

Sue Choi: Instructors are terrific! The location is great, easy to park and make a Whole Foods run after class. Good selection of classes and times. I have been a member for 6 years now and love it.

Chelsea Kennedy: The instructor was friendly and inviting. The workout was easy to follow with the instructions and demos provided. I was challenged enough by the workout to feel accomplished without feeling exhausted. I’m looking forward to taking more classes and progressing!

Amy Kritz: I loved RTR Pilates. The instructors I’ve had so far are excellent and motivating. I will definitely buy a package to this Pilates gym.

Lucila Kanadani: I’ve been attending RTR Pilates classes for some years and absolutely love it! It’s convenient, easy to sign up and it offers a variety of options, different classes levels and instructors. I totally recommend it ❤️

barre3: what do users think?

Melanie Adams: Barre3 is one of my favorite workouts and the 14th street location can’t be beat. The instructors are welcoming and put on a challenging but doable class. The studio space itself is always clean and they have done a great job with pandemic protocols. 11/10!

Lauren Edwards: Highly recommend this Barre3 studio! I love how upbeat the classes are and the instructors are all so welcoming and friendly. The studio itself is very cute and always clean. I leave feeling like I got a good workout, and am sore the next day to prove it.

Gabriela Montes de Oca: Barre3 14th street is for sure one of my favorite studios in DC. Their staff (specially Alicia, the owner) is kind, knowledgeable and always has words of encouragement during the classes and outside of them too. I also love that they support local causes and their classes are challenging yet fun and uplifting. You always leave their studio feeling incredible because of the great energy it has. I have been a pseudo member of the community since 2018 and every time I can, I try to get in a class because it’s amazing. PS: they also have free classes whenever they are training instructors, as well as $10 community classes every now and then that either go towards a specific charity or allows you to check the workout before committing fully to a package.

Emily Limerick: Positive: Professionalism, QualityBarre3 14th street has been my go-to for exercise and self-care! Their pandemic protocols make me feel safe; the organization clearly prioritizes safety. The instructors always ensure it’s a challenging workout with modifications to accommodate for every body… and most importantly my kids love the play lounge!

Chelsea Kelly: I love barre3! The instructors are amazing and I always get a challenging work out and leave feeling rejuvenated. Allie’s classes are my favorite but they’re all great!

Caitlin Conflenti: This workout is the opportunity to get deep into your core, glute and hip muscles. It is also thoughtfully choreographed and, in my opinion, better than other types of barre workouts because it incorporates cardio routines and big movements that make you feel like you are dancing. The instructors at the 14th Street studio are also dedicated! They keep class lively throughout, bringing their contagious positive energy to their instruction. A membership at this studio is worth every penny because you will keep coming back day after day!

Casey Sweeney: Barre3 has been a great experience for me and I really look forward to each class. The instructors are motivating and I really appreciate the various modifications they give for each movement.

Chloe Kaplan: So happy to have found the Barre3 - 14th St studio! Such a positive and vibrant community with a strong, inspiring woman at the helm - Alicia is the best. Highly recommend if you like feeling good ;)

barre3: what do users think?

Kathleen Schwarz: After having my first child, I had a hard time finding an exercise class that allowed me to reconnect to my core muscles, adapt moves for my current abilities and range of motion, not strain a recovering pelvic floor, and still be challenging. The classes at barre3 have checked all these boxes! I’m already noticing much more stability in my core and the glute strength I’ve been missing after only one week of attending. I’d definitely recommend this for someone returning to exercise postpartum!

Nhu Girl: If you’re new, I like to say Barre3 is a mixture of Zumba, Yoga, and Ballet techniques combined. It’s fun, upbeat and challenging. They offer a lot of time slots so it’s easy to schedule a class into your day. Parking is easy to find and love their location.

Jessica Goodman: barre3 DC studios (Clarendon, Navy Yard, Union Station) consistently provide a stellar workout and a wide variety of options to keep me engaged and successful during workouts. The staff and members are very welcoming and non-judgemental. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth Charash: Great classes!! Love an early morning workout and it is so nice to have so many options throughout the week. The instructors are great and the studio is a nice respite from a busy day.

Mathea Pielemeier: Barre3 instructors are always friendly, energetic, and welcoming! It’s a great low impact workout and good combo of cardio & strength work.

Cally Perkins: Barre3 Navy Yard is a great experience. Impressive studio with plenty of space and fun instructors who keep you energized and going! Highly recommend.

Donald Hertzmark: Have been going to HB for about 3.5 years. Instructors are top notch and studio/community is great. Instructors offer excellent tips for all levels of practice.

Mary Slater: Great studio and teacher , felt welcomed and safe in a new, difficult yoga experience. I plan to go back !

Circle Yoga Cooperative: what do users think?

Leah Hudson: Circle Yoga is an incredible studio. The staff is very warm and welcoming, and the studio is open and clean. I was drawn to the studio because they were one of the few in the DC area that offered in-person prenatal yoga classes. I felt safe with vaccine and mask requirements in place. The instructor, Jen, is amazing and offers modifications to help each individual.

Jessica Ewers: We absolutely love Circle Yoga and have been taking classes for years! My almost 12 year old daughter has always been treated with kindness, compassion and love. The summer camp is the best! They incorporate art, movement, and positive self-awareness. I highly recommend this beautiful establishment.

Sheri Denkensohn: I began going to Circle Yoga remotely during the pandemic. I live in Virginia and would never be able to have access to the studio. It is fantastic! I specifically enjoy yoga Nidra and gentle yoga. The instructors are top-notch and class feels like a community. I would not go anywhere else! It is well worth the money.

Joan Alker: I love, love, love Circle Yoga and have been going there for years. The teachers are absolutely top notch and the studio is incredibly welcoming for people of all levels of experience. There are virtual and in person options. I have done yoga all over the country and this studio is very special.

Kristina Carson: Circle Yoga is such a special place for me and my family. I started taking their prenatal classes with my first and continued growing with their class offerings from there. So lucky to have a such a bright and happy studio close to home!

MINT health club & studio- Dupont: what do users think?

R Adebowale: Great local gym. Small building but with all the modern equipment needed for a good workout. Nice front desk staff.

Lexie Barton: I love Mint!! I have been so impressed by their ability to pivot during the pandemic and create an environment that truly feels safe for everyone. I cancelled my gym membership before the pandemic at another gym and felt unsafe returning as I have an at-risk person at home, until I found Mint! Cannot say enough good things about the team and the facility. Thank you, Mint team! Also agree with the 2nd review below 👇 I’ve been during all times of the day and have never had an issue with any of my belongings. There is ample locker space with the ability to choose your own combination so you can secure your items. I’ve never seen or encountered any issues.

Kaelah Horwath: MINT is the BEST! All of the instructors are amazing and it is such a nice place to work out.

Blanca Badgett: Mint is fantastic! The variety of classes is great as I lack self structure when I try to workout alone. The instructors are very motivating and work with all skill levels. They all have a good knowledge base to modify workouts for people with injuries which I appreciate. They also have a child care, full amenity locker rooms, and a coffee machine. It is rather expensive for memberships so I would suggest using ClassPass to try it out before fully committing. Their memberships do also include the 14th St location!

Mallika Thomas: Such a great place! Really nice to go to a local, family-owned gym that is really set on delivering great health and wellness to the local community! What I especially love are the outdoor classes that are being offered in the time of Covid. They are safe, in small groups, and outdoors! And I really need the exercise after having been inside for so many months! Thank you, especially to Lauren for offering a fantastic outdoor workout!

Mind the Mat Pilates & Yoga - Alexandria: what do users think?

ZA S: This is a much needed staple in my weekly routine. When I first moved to Alexandria, my wife and I went to another yoga studio. We loved the instructor, but we were not happy with the studio. Enter Mind the Mat. The same instructor also teaches here and the studio is great. The hot studio is set up in an efficient and thoughtful manner with a separate changing room. The class package expiration policy is reasonable and one of the best in the area. Furthermore, the class offerings surpasses most studios in the area. My wife switched from the hot power flow yoga to prenatal without missing a week of yoga. I prefer the hot power flow yoga to complement my function fitness and running regime and it has improved my finesses overall. This class is in high demand because of the great instructor (again, we followed her from the previous studio). There were times when some students where using the cancellation policy to their advantage by scheduling and not attending or coming late to this high demand class thereby preventing others from attending. The owners addressed this situation by updating the cancellation policy and it seems to have resolved the issues.

Catherine McLean: I have done Mommy & Me classes, post natal, hot yoga, etc...here. Absolutely love Sara and her team. They are so knowledgeable, the place is clean, and most importantly they are chilled out and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Angela Mills: They now three studios in Alexandria and one in Arlington and have a packed schedule of classes: barre, pilates, and yoga. The teachers are FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!

Samantha Brletich: Classes are great at the mind the mat locations however parking is awful.here. I missed a class because I could not find street parking.

Savanna Olsen: Megan Brown will give you the workout of your life. Definitely try a class with her!

Pure Barre: what do users think?

sara agostini: Great workouts, instructors and staff. The staff in particular has been very patient, accommodating and understanding besides being very professional and kind. When I had troubled with the app or I had to reschedule, they called and offered help and solutions so I wouldn’t miss workouts or lose credits. The workout is awesome too, I just want to highlight their great customer care. Highly recommended!

Lindsey Ellertson: I get migraines if I do any workouts that are too high impact, so have never been great at working out consistently. I decided to give Pure Barre a chance and so far I love it! It works all the areas of my body I want to tone without the high impact of other classes I’ve taken. I’ve been 5 times and it hasn’t triggered my migraines. This studio is great and I love all the instructors so far. They are really welcoming to new comers and are great at helping with form to get the most of the work out. I will definitely keep coming back!

Catherine Rodgers: Pure Barre is the highest quality barre studio around. I have tried multiple barre studios in the DC area and and Pure Barre is by far the best and most effective. The staff is extremely friendly and are always willing to go above and beyond to help you have the best experience in each class. Each instructor makes an effort help you learn the right techniques. I have been attending a littler over one month now and I can already see results. I have so enjoyed my experience with this studio and I look forward to many more classes!

Jenee Sharon: Pure Barre Dupont is the best! The classes are a challenging but fun workout, the studio is always clean, and most of all, their staff is friendly and attentive. They really make an effort to remember your name and motivate you individually during classes, which gives it a community feel. I have been coming to this studio for over a year and I keep coming back because it’s the best barre workout and they keep it different each class. Definitely encourage you to try it out, it’s worth the time and money.

Calli Obern: I love going to Pure Barre - it’s low-impact and incredibly challenging, and you feel great walking out. I appreciate that the instructors always know your name and are attentive to make sure your form is correct so you don’t hurt yourself and so you get the best workout. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to try barre. I also love the carpeting, which feels gentle on your body.

Florie Mendiola: The staff and instructors are friendly and motivating. They make it a point to know your name and they make me feel welcomed. The classes are always challenging and the instructors are thoughtful about guiding you to get the most out of your experience. The place is clean and inviting. I appreciate the ease and efficient flow of each experience from signing up for classes, reminder emails, option to cancel classes, quick in and out is mindful of each members time. Xtend Barre Arlington: what do users think?

Celina Pierrottet: I love this studio. I’ve been a member of Xtend Barre - Arlington since 2018 and have only had great experiences here. Kelly Wilkinson, the studio owner, has not only created a clean and welcoming studio for you to take butt-kicking exercise classes, she’s also created a sense of community. I don’t know of any other gym that hosts celebrations and puts together wine tasting and floral arrangement events for its members. All of the instructors are amazing. They always have something new and exciting to try in a class. They also remember your name and help you modify exercises to personalize your experience. I could go on and on about how wonderful this barre studio is. Sign up, and you won’t be disappointed.

Leah Noecker: I love this studio! Everyone is so friendly and really makes you feel welcome. I came in with no dance or barre experience and the instructors and other members of the studio have been wonderful and have taught me so much. The classes are challenging but they do a great job of helping you work up to harder moves and techniques.

Irene K: The Xtend Barre Arlington studio offers a variety of classes (e.g., cardio, sculpt, stretch, etc.), not just barre, with a range of intensity level. All instructors are very professional, excellent, and super-friendly. The studio is clean and always well-organized.

Laura Klebanow: An amazing community of fitness- and wellness-minded people. Big selection of different classes depending on your fitness goals and preferences. This studio is a game changer!

Caitlin Cassot: Absolutely love this studio! I’ve attended the barre and cardio dance classes and would highly recommend both. I love how every class is different and challenging- they’re definitely a good workout! The instructors are so kind and willing to answer questions or help find modifications. This is such a positive environment and a great studio to be a part of!

barre3: what do users think?

Laura Thibault: I love barre3 old town! I have tried pretty much every barre studio in town and this is by far THE BEST! I have also been to plenty of other barre3 studios (I’m so addicted I try to go even when traveling) and this studio is hands down my favorite. It’s a beautiful, spacious, sun-filled space, the teachers are incredible and play the best music, and I love the play lounge for my daughter so I can workout in peace. They also have super fun retail and frequently run fun events, challenges, and specials. And they have showers, towels, lockers, high-end products- everything you need to get ready for your day.

Jill Mackie: Barre3 old town.. I don’t even have words to explain how amazing this community is! I started with this community right when they opened simply because I loved barre and it was close to my house. Immediately upon joining this studio I realized it was NOTHING like any barre class or community that I had experienced in the past. Meredith, Lindsay and all of the instructors/staff make you feel so comfortable and welcome to be there. Not only do I take barre classes for physical strength but also (if not more) for mental strength. These ladies, and this entire community have gotten me through so much (pregnancy, post-partum and global pandemic 😫 just to name a few!) I recently broke my foot but still join in on Sunday’s to listen to Lindsay’s breath work to keep me feeling positive and motivated. LOVE this studio! 💕

Cait Fiocchi: The Barre3 Old Town staff/community is one of a kind! The workouts are amazing and the instructors are incredibly supportive. Sports were a part of my life through college & afterwards it took me a while to find a workout that had the intensity I was looking for, while also low impact. I haven’t felt this strong since college sports and it’s amazing! I can’t thank Meredith, Lindsay, & the entire B3 Old Town team for all they do for our community.

Jessica Petchenick: Barre3 old town is the best! I’ve been taking classes here since they opened and took my 500th class just a few months ago. Meredith, Lindsay, and the whole team are so supportive. Every class is fantastic and they have the best childcare available while you workout. They’ve gone above and beyond with offering online options during the current craziness. I love connecting virtually and can’t wait to be back in the studio.
