Reformation Fitness: what do users think?

DC Techie: Wanted to love the class/studio but had a mediocre experience. Few modifications provided during abs class made for a precarious situation for first timers. Teacher did not seem to notice anyone but the regulars. Room was packed. The sequence went too quickly. Given the class type, may have benefited from less moves or more repetition so we could work on form rather than struggle to get set up. Positives: clean studio with water dispenser and lockers. Variety of classes offered. Good AC and cool temperature in classroom

Bonafide Experiment: IMO, this is the best gym in DC. Love the energy of trainers and attendees here. The trainers are inspiring, professional, and attentive to each one’s posture and growth. They also have a supportive community where you feel welcomed even when you come here for the first time. I have been following their virtual classes but can’t wait to go back and take pilates classes when the summer ends.

Jennifer Rowley: I love all of the instructors doing group reformer classes. Everyone is talented in their own way and I always get an amazing workout. It's a bit of a distance from where I live and work, and parking (if I drive) can be stressful, but I keep going back b/c it's worth it. I feel comfortable and the instructors know my name which is really nice.

Allie Medack: Awesome classes. Every time I go, I know I’m going to get a great workout. Whether you’re a beginner or someone who has worked out for years and loves to be pushed, the instructors tailor the class to your intensity levels and needs. This is my favorite studio in DC.

Taylor Dankmyer: My favorite gym in the district. Love the variety of classes & instructors. For the Metcon/HIIT classes, I love that each week is a different focus (power, strength, or endurance) and each day is either lower, upper, or full body. It's also easy to scale the workouts down or up based on your ability. I've always felt super welcome & comfortable here.

Izaak Beekman: Amazing gym. Great #RefFitFam community. Other patrons are friendly, supportive and encouraging. Instructors are motivating without yelling at you, always helping you dig deeper and ask more of yourself. Programming is well structured and varied. This is not the type of gym to go to if you want to admire yourself in the mirror or find a date. Each class will ask 100% of you and you'll leave happy, exhausted and dripping with sweat.

Elizabeth Matts: I love reformation fitness! It's close to home so super convenient and has quickly become my go-to workout place - so much so that I purchase monthly packages so that I can go all the time and without the restriction of classpass. Everyone is super friendly, the instructors are professional and incredibility skilled at their craft. They do a fantastic job of pushing us outside of our comfort zones but always in a safe and controlled way. And I value that the instructors whose classes I got to regularly have made the effort to learn my name. I like that there is a nice mix of class options that I can choose from including: Spinning, TRX Fusion, MetCon, Bootcamps and Reformer Pilates, as well as classes offered at 7.30pm on a weekday evening. The Saturday Sweat sessions are my favorite and always set my weekend up right. All in all a very convenient place to workout, clean and modern equipment, friendly atmosphere and fantastic fitness instruction all in one.

Lauren Kane: The trainers know you by name and it feels like a community. Any issues with passes are resolved swiftly and effectively. Really awesome staff. I moved from around the corner from the gym to all the way out in Maryland and I will still gladly drive the 40 minutes to go to a class at Reformation Fitness any day.

Caitlin Baker: The workouts are always well thought out and challenging and the teachers are awesome. The studio has a great community feel and the prices are reasonable. My favorite workout studio in DC!

Bidisha Roy: Love the studio vibe, humble but refined atmosphere, group reformer class size, professionalism, and quality/precision of instruction. RF is unparalleled for group reformer classes. Not cheap, but reasonably priced for the area. Instructors and students occasionally engage in light, sparse conversation, which is fine. I've been to a few other studios where the instructors and students converse constantly, which i find distracting, isolating, and unprofessional. Not RF though :)

Georgetown Pilates: what do users think?

Sachiko Taniguchi: Heather is truly dedicated to giving her clients the best Pilates experience. She can connect with anyone on a personal level and help each client achieve his/her goal individually. I've been happy and healthy since I started receiving Heather's lessons and taking Pilates more seriously. The studio is always very clean and beautifully designed. Her beloved dog, Beau, welcomes me with so much love that going to the studio makes it a truly special experience as well.

Joanna Mallios: I would recommend Georgetown Pilates to anyone! Heather is amazing! She is a fantastic teacher. She is committed to giving her students the best instruction and watching them advance overtime. It’s the perfect spot in Georgetown! Impeccable!

Jaqi Au (Jaqi): Beautiful Space. Beautiful Equipment. Beautiful Energy. Private, spacious, bright, right in the heart of Georgetown.

Fuse Pilates®: what do users think?

Caroline Cunningham: Just returned to Fuse Pilates after a three year break and several injuries. Working out with Tori and Liz made me feel strong and resilient. I literally cried after class today knowing that my entire back was moving again and in a careful and meaningful way. I forgot how good Fuse teachers are they really help you build your strength while listening to your needs. ONWARD!!!
Response: Thank you, Caroline. We love seeing you back at the studio!

Areeba Hasan: I've taken mat and a ladder class at Fuse, and I have loved every class. The instructors have been great, Saba is amazing, and I've had a great experience. I've never done pilates before, and I get super anxious in new settings but this has truly been an amazing experience. Highly suggest taking the classes! They're difficult but in the best way possible!
Response: Thank you for trusting us with your Pilates journey, Areeba. Looking forward to seeing you more.

Bela Leao: Fuse Pilates is by far my favorite studio in DC! I truly enjoy the classes as well as the availability of different instructors and teaching styles. The instructors are creative and fun, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and ability to work with our individual needs. Very importantly, they ask about any injuries and help people modify, if necessary. The owner is also amazing and passionate about pilates, certainly conveying this passion to her clients. Moreover, the studio’s customer-focused approach ensures the delivery of a superior level of service at Fuse.
Response: Dear Bela, Thank you for the lovely review. We love seeing you at the studio.

Christine Rice: I did my first class at Fuse Pilates and did the back to the basics reformer. It was a great way to start and get acquainted with reformer pilates. I recommend this to anyone who has thought about starting pilates! Dani was a great instructor for first timers as well. I didn't feel lost or confused at all!
Response: Thank you, Christine. We enjoyed having you at the studio. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Erin Darbouze: The studio is beautiful and the instructors are the best in DC. I feel safe, supported, and always get a great workout. I cannot recommend Fuse Pilates enough!
Response: Thank you for the lovely review, Erin. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Laura Cilmi: I absolutely love coming to Fuse Pilates! I leave feeling fit, accomplished and less stressed. And then the soreness kicks in! The instructors are knowledgeable and will help each student based on their needs. The owner is amazing and will work with each student to find the right package for their individual goals.
Response: Thank you, Laura. We love seeing you at the studio and online. Thanks for being part of this amazing community.

James Morrison: Fuse is an amazing physical studio space with a variety of top notch instructors. I like that there are instructors who are super gentle and others who will make you sweat. I haven't been in the physical studio since the pandemic but I've streamed some classes, which have all been great. I always feel welcome at Fuse, and the ability to buy a bundle of passes makes the price right.
Response: Thank you, James. We look forward to seeing you soon online or in studio.

Whitley Cargile: I took a private pilates class with Dani at Fuse and she was awesome! She gave great modifications for my injuries and the class was the perfect difficulty level. Definitely going to become a regular at Fuse!
Response: Thank you, Whitley. We loved having you all and looking forward to seeing more of you soon.

Monette Melanson: Fuse is great. I have been taking classes off and on here since 2008 in its various locations but when COVID hit, they immediately began zoom, and it saved my sanity. I take pilates mat classes almost every day and have for the duration. The instructors are all excellent. The workouts are varied. It’s just never boring and I always feel invigorated after a class, no matter who the instructor is. They also offer a variety of machines classes at their studio on 14th St. Give them a try! They are fabulous!!!
Response: Thank you, Monette. Love having you in our virtual classes.

Sarah Nguyen: I've been going to Fuse Pilates for the last year and they are great. They have small class sizes so you get to know the regulars and teachers, who can dedicate more time with you. I go to the Reformer and Ladder pilate classes and they have great equipment and challenging classes. During COVID-19, they had online zoom classes too which are great. I enjoy classes from Tori, Dani and Joe. The owner Saba is lovely too!
Response: Thank you, Sarah. We love seeing you at the studio. See you soon.

Club Pilates: what do users think?

Cairistìona Dancing: I really enjoy the studio, the classes, and the instructors. I have no prior experience with pilates reformers, but I think they are magic. The staff is very mindful of injuries or limitations, and management was extremely helpful when I needed to take a pause to recover from an injury. It is a bit more expensive than I would normally want to pay for exercise, but it is so much more in line with my body goals and really helps build mind body connection. I look forward to more classes becoming available.

Hills Walt: I was super excited to join the intro class with my friends today with hopes to purchase memberships for the 3 of us but unfortunately this place has absolutely no grace period. We were literally 3mins “late” and wasn’t allowed in the class with no prior knowledge of this (no grace period) policy. Had it been communicated to us we could’ve rescheduled instead of wasting gas traveling. I’m still interested in starting Pilates but I will not be returning here , simply because I don’t like the way we were treated.

PPK “PPK DC” K: Instructors are very good. Website good. Flexibility and managers are Awful. Cancelling membership and will never be back.

Megan Jenkins: I love the staff at Club Pilates! They are so engaging and kind. The classes are great and the instructors clearly know their stuff! It is refreshing to find a place with management this great in DC.

Sunsandsurfgal Sunsandsurfgal: One star is being kind. The studio itself is dirty. The filtered water machine has dirt and gunk at the base. The bathrooms aren't clean and mold in the toilets. Coming from a very busy studio in another state which is always clean, I found this completely unacceptable. These are lazy franchise owners and terrible instructors and Claudia in particular comes across as lazy in her manner of teaching. In fact, the instructors at this location are not all fully trained. They are subs and apprentices. The classes are rarely full which might also say something. Maybe they can't add more advanced classes because their level 1 and 1.5 are pathetic. One instructor brought her dog to class which whined which distracted the instructor from the class. I experienced incorrect direction regarding how to do certain moves, inability to timely que so you can transition between moves without spending lot of time getting into position among other problematic issues that are inconsistent with the foundations of pilates. There was essentially no stretching at the end of class and limited footwork to warm you up...although the classes themselves are so weak, what's the point. I have passport and have taken classes with very experienced pilates instructors and won't go back to this location or Bethesda. Maybe club pilates shouldn't just hand out franchises and should be more worried about their brand and give franchises to instructors who are fully qualified and take their business and the practice serious.....and maybe clean you place of business.

Ellen Ruina: I enjoyed classes, but their membership policy is terrible. I was charged despite specific instructions-- approved by the manager-- not to auto renew. When I complained, they refused to reverse charges because I had not completed cancellation paperwork that they did not provide to me when I informed them I didn't want to be on auto-pay. They've lost my business and with business practices like these, watch out! Too bad because the classes and equipment were good.

Aída Romero: I love this studio! I had come last year and it was always very clean, everything was sanitized between classes and the instructors were GREAT! My posture improved, my back pain decreased, and I felt stronger, leaner, and definitely noticed an increase in my flexibility. I am so happy to be back at the Tenleytown studio!

Angelina: Members and interested parties BEWARE! This is an unethical, toxic and predatory business. Avoid this studio and it’s arrogant general Manager Manager at all costs. After following the complicated process and cancelling my membership, the GM manually auto renewed my membership with my bank account on file without my permission, over-drafting my account. All emails, calls and visits to reverse the charge were ignored. Like predatory insurance companies, this studio banks on the hope that you’ll give up, get busy or simply fatigue from fighting them. It’s abhorrent, privileged behaviour. Save yourself the headaches and find Pilates classes elsewhere.

D. R. Smith: I'm so glad I found Club Pilates during the pandemic! They are clean, respectful of social-distancing requirements and very professional. I enjoy the Reformer "Flow" workouts, but I love that every session is different, so it's never boring. They do a great job of incorporating other tools into the workout, such as box, chair, ball, Bosu, TRX, etc. I also appreciate that they tell you how you can modify exercises if you have an injury or you're just not up to it that day OR if you want a bit more of a challenge. I've never been much of a joiner, but I'm glad I've joined this Club. I've lost weight, feel better and actually enjoy working out. I never thought I would say that!

diane q: I’ve attended more than 50 classes, and absolutely love everything about Club Pilates. The studio is always very clean, staff are very friendly and attentive to people w injuries. The workouts are perfect for me, and I look forward to going as many days a week as I can.

Excel Pilates DC: what do users think?

William Trapmann: Since I began practicing Pilates at Excel Pilates DC, I’ve improved my core strength and flexibility overall. Feeling stronger and more capable provides a degree of personal confidence that I find quite gratifying. The instructors at the Excel studio are knowledgeable, as well as helpful and encouraging. Their interest in my performance inspires me to try harder. It also helps that they all seem to have the patience of Job. I’m a senior citizen and I’ve had my share of sports- and exercise-related injuries over the years. I appreciate the expert guidance and oversight provided by the instructors at the Excel studio. Their expertise imbues in me a confidence to attempt challenging exercises that I probably shouldn’t even consider, much less attempt, on my own. Thanks to the instructors, I have surprised myself more than once with what I am able to do. After a workout at Excel I feel invigorated. My energy levels are higher and I feel satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. Good health and fitness are not things that simply occur—I must work for them. I believe that if you want to be active, you must stay active. I recommend Pilates at Excel Pilates as a good way to be active for almost anyone.

Alix Myerson: +The Excel Studio has a welcoming environment with friendly, knowledgeable certified Pilates instructors. +Diverse clientele from across the city and suburbs encompass all ages, backgrounds and abilities, including those in recovery from major illness. +For the past two years, my weekly private sessions with Michelle Mendelson have made an enormous difference in managing serious chronic back pain. +++I highly recommend Excel Pilates!

Louisa Buatti: While I have only taken Reformer classes here, I found the instruction at this studio top notch! Teachers have many years--if not decades--experience with the Pilates Method. Administrative staff members are friendly, helpful, and responsive. The studio is bright, airy, and very pleasant overall. I recommend it highly to anyone interested in studying classic Pilates!

Sherwood Va: Excellent instructors and facility. I've been taking one on one classes for three years and can see improvement in my strength and flexibility. I have scoliosis, and my instructor at Excel was willing to modify the exercises to accommodate my back problems.

Laura Jackson: I love this pilates studio! Firstly, the space is so welcoming and peaceful; the tones are warm and the lines are clean. It's perfect for helping you focus and flow. The staff and instructors are all wonderful as well. I'm a beginner and Rachel, my instructor, has been so helpful with getting me acclimated to the form and movement of pilates and it has changed my life forever!

Jacqueline Emanuel: I've been a student at Excel for over 20 years. It's a world class studio with fantastic teachers in a beautiful space that is not only spotless, it's easy to get to via metro, bike, driving or walking. The attention to detail, emphasis on the care and safety of each individual client, (while you're getting your butt kicked in a class or private) is unlike any other studio on the east coast.

Chris Frates: An amazing studio with a great vibe. Their incredibly knowledgeable instructors teach to your skill level. You will look and feel better in no time. I highly recommend Stefanie. She's my favorite teacher.

Lois Nembhard: Very welcoming atmosphere. Everyone I have dealt with has been helpful and pleasant. The instructors make a point of remembering your name and are really attentive (whether one-on-one or in a group class). I’ve learned a lot and plan to keep going.

Francie Israeli: Spotlessly clean studio, small group classes, very individualized instruction. Excel adheres to the classic pilates methods. Jacqueline is a super instructor! Highly recommend.

Maria Salvadore: Thanks to Excel Pilates for consistently having exceptional staff, always responsive and talented in a supportive enviornment., I credit them for lessening my back issues and for overall feeling stronger and more resilient.

barre3: what do users think?

Melanie Adams: Barre3 is one of my favorite workouts and the 14th street location can’t be beat. The instructors are welcoming and put on a challenging but doable class. The studio space itself is always clean and they have done a great job with pandemic protocols. 11/10!

Lauren Edwards: Highly recommend this Barre3 studio! I love how upbeat the classes are and the instructors are all so welcoming and friendly. The studio itself is very cute and always clean. I leave feeling like I got a good workout, and am sore the next day to prove it.

Gabriela Montes de Oca: Barre3 14th street is for sure one of my favorite studios in DC. Their staff (specially Alicia, the owner) is kind, knowledgeable and always has words of encouragement during the classes and outside of them too. I also love that they support local causes and their classes are challenging yet fun and uplifting. You always leave their studio feeling incredible because of the great energy it has. I have been a pseudo member of the community since 2018 and every time I can, I try to get in a class because it’s amazing. PS: they also have free classes whenever they are training instructors, as well as $10 community classes every now and then that either go towards a specific charity or allows you to check the workout before committing fully to a package.

Isa Djerassi: Barre3 14th St. is a fantastic place. I took my first class in May of 2021 and have never felt stronger. For the first time in my life, I've found joy in my workout routine. I appreciate each instructor and every member of the team. I highly recommend this studio!

Emily Limerick: Positive: Professionalism, QualityBarre3 14th street has been my go-to for exercise and self-care! Their pandemic protocols make me feel safe; the organization clearly prioritizes safety. The instructors always ensure it’s a challenging workout with modifications to accommodate for every body… and most importantly my kids love the play lounge!

Chelsea Kelly: I love barre3! The instructors are amazing and I always get a challenging work out and leave feeling rejuvenated. Allie’s classes are my favorite but they’re all great!

Carissa Cyran: I've taken many barre classes and Barre3 14th Street is by far the best! From the moment you walk through the door, you instantly feel part of a positive, calming community. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic. The studio is beautiful and always clean. They have done an excellent job with COVID safety protocols. I've taken classes from various instructors and they're all incredible and each have their own style. However, I absolutely love Vanja's classes as she is very motivating, upbeat and inspirational/uplifting. Vanja takes the time to check in with you before class and push you to challenge yourself the entire time. Vanja is also great in offering modifications for every move and will ensure you have proper form. Barre3 at 14th Street offers classes throughout the entire day so it's very easy to find a class that works best with your schedule. I highly recommend you take your next barre class here as you won't be disappointed!

Caitlin Conflenti: This workout is the opportunity to get deep into your core, glute and hip muscles. It is also thoughtfully choreographed and, in my opinion, better than other types of barre workouts because it incorporates cardio routines and big movements that make you feel like you are dancing. The instructors at the 14th Street studio are also dedicated! They keep class lively throughout, bringing their contagious positive energy to their instruction. A membership at this studio is worth every penny because you will keep coming back day after day!

Casey Sweeney: Barre3 has been a great experience for me and I really look forward to each class. The instructors are motivating and I really appreciate the various modifications they give for each movement.

Chloe Kaplan: So happy to have found the Barre3 - 14th St studio! Such a positive and vibrant community with a strong, inspiring woman at the helm - Alicia is the best. Highly recommend if you like feeling good ;)

Mind the Mat Pilates & Yoga - Alexandria: what do users think?

ZA S: This is a much needed staple in my weekly routine. When I first moved to Alexandria, my wife and I went to another yoga studio. We loved the instructor, but we were not happy with the studio. Enter Mind the Mat. The same instructor also teaches here and the studio is great. The hot studio is set up in an efficient and thoughtful manner with a separate changing room. The class package expiration policy is reasonable and one of the best in the area. Furthermore, the class offerings surpasses most studios in the area. My wife switched from the hot power flow yoga to prenatal without missing a week of yoga. I prefer the hot power flow yoga to complement my function fitness and running regime and it has improved my finesses overall. This class is in high demand because of the great instructor (again, we followed her from the previous studio). There were times when some students where using the cancellation policy to their advantage by scheduling and not attending or coming late to this high demand class thereby preventing others from attending. The owners addressed this situation by updating the cancellation policy and it seems to have resolved the issues.

Hanorah Grill: I joined MtM over a year ago and I love it. I've belonged to other yoga studios back home in NY and none compare to Mind the Mat. We moved from Arlington to Alexandria, mainly because, if we had to move, I was set on staying close to MY pilates studio. Classes are always challenging and effective, and their schedule offers almost an impossible number of classes. The teachers are amazing and are always inventing new ways to get dormant muscles working (and sore). They are also friendly, funny, welcoming and accommodating for injuries or discomfort. Not only has MtM helped change my body (I have a pilates butt now, never had a butt before), but it has brought my level of fitness up to one I never expected to reach with such simply targrted, mat-based movements. This studio SHOULD get 5 stars from everyone, but nothing is perfect and the couple of bad reviews are from people who had one, rare "bad" experience or were expecting a different experience all together. I have been a client for over a year, I go 3-6x a week and I have yet to have a bad experience. I <3 MtM

Susan Carlin: As a longtime family friend I chose to take Megan Lipera's Barre Pilates class on Saturday and did not leave disappointed. I'd been doing Barre3 for the last four years but most of the time I did it from an on-line app at home for 30 minutes. Saturday's 1-hour class had students of all ages and abilities and Megan who gave clear instructions also took the time to give us modifications, adjust our stance or explain what muscle groups we were working. But trust me she takes no prisoners despite the fact her sister and I were taking her class. I left drenched, drained but energized. And I was reminded about the muscle groups I worked into the next day. Needless to say she broke a few of my plateaus. Great class Megan!

Catherine McLean: I have done Mommy & Me classes, post natal, hot yoga, etc...here. Absolutely love Sara and her team. They are so knowledgeable, the place is clean, and most importantly they are chilled out and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Laura Gibbs: Excellent instructors and a welcoming space! The instructors know what they're doing. Classes are challenging yet safe, lots of cues and adjustments throughout. One of the few studios with hot pilates classes daily.

Andrea Rodgers: Last night I went to Debora Jackson's class and was disturbed at the beginning of class when she suggested everyone sit in Sukhasana and press their heel into their perineum as they do Seated Pelvic Circles. It was a bit sexual and odd to me. I've taken yoga for 16 years and never had an instructor mention the perineum and describe what it's between. She also spoke about the election and got political before class started which i felt was inappropriate. She invited everyone to go to the National Mall Saturday night saying they were going to burn an effigy - I assume of President-Elect Donald Trump. I come to yoga to exercise - not to be invited to a protest/riot about our new President.

Angela Mills: They now three studios in Alexandria and one in Arlington and have a packed schedule of classes: barre, pilates, and yoga. The teachers are FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!

Samantha Brletich: Classes are great at the mind the mat locations however parking is awful.here. I missed a class because I could not find street parking.

Savanna Olsen: Megan Brown will give you the workout of your life. Definitely try a class with her!

Stephen Cowan: We'll run place with good instructors. Nice variety of classes

Club Pilates: what do users think?

Jessica Jerrell: I've been going to the Pentagon City club on & off for almost 5 years now, including through almost an entire pregnancy. I really love Reformer Pilates for a full body workout, and the variety of classes & skill level of the instructors here is top notch! Even instructors whose classes you go to regularly are good at mixing up the exercises, so it never feels monotonous. I especially love the Control and Center & Balance classes. Hoping for more weekend and evening (8:30pm) classes later in 2022.

Nathalie Moberg: Love this place! My Pilates class is the highlight of my day. The instructors are all fabulous but Wade and Bradley are especially knowledgable and helpful for level 1 classes. They explain movements well which is so important when working out to prevent injury and to see results. Love Robin and Stacey for Level 1.5 / 2 classes. Their workouts are always different and fun. Love the variety! The workouts are very manageable (and customizable to your needs), every class is different so you don't get bored and results come fast! Great workout for toning, to relieve back pain, get more flexible and full of energy.

Marie Dahl: I tried a free intro class at Club Pilates on a whim and signed up for a membership that same day. I've been going for one month so far and love it! I've noticed a difference in my body and how I feel over the past four weeks. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the studio is very clean and the booking process/app has a great user interface. Corryne is an amazing instructor and I really enjoy going to her classes!

Rossanna: My friend recommended the Club Pilates Pentagon City studio to me a few months ago, and I took my first Pilates intro class. Loved it so much, I signed up on the spot and have been going ever since! Good location (validated parking & great places to eat nearby to grab a quick lunch after class), and I love the class variety as well. All the instructors are great too - Corryne, Heidi, Bradley, Robin. I love how low-impact Pilates is while producing results, adding in a cardio or stretching class here and there. I'm officially someone who does Pilates. :)

soultry Brand: I saw a sponsored ad on Instagram for a free intro club Pilates class and got really excited. I waited a few weeks for the class which was scheduled for today at 1 PM. I arrived at 1:05 due to the horrible street parking and confusing garage parking. I was then informed I could not take the class because they had a hard cut off after 1:05. I checked the time and it was exactly 1:05 which technically is not ‘after’. I asked if this was stated in any of the three emails sent (which I didn’t remember) and The associates stated it was not. Sooooooo, how was I suppose to know!? They were not understanding after I told them I traveled a long way to get there (35minutes to be exact.) they only good that came out of this experience was them still validating my parking. It is very frustrating to wait weeks, travel just to be told no. Completely disappointing honestly. I was excited to learn more about Pilates here and take more of their classes but definitely not after this!!!
Response: We are sorry for the frustrating experience. While we try to do our best to make sure everyone has a great experience at our studio, and we would like to accommodate everyone regardless of when they arrive, all Club Pilates have a 5 minute cutoff for joining group classes. The policy is strictly to keep participants safe as the equipment used in class is unfamiliar too many participants and the warmup period would have passed within that period. This is even more important during intro classes, and we have to prioritize safety. We understand that you were very close to the cutoff mark, but we would have needed to get a waiver signed and verified some additional information with you, at which point we would have likely been closer to 10 minutes past the start of class. While we understand how frustrating this type of experience is, we hope you understand that we are doing our best to prioritize safety over any monetary or convenience factors. You should have been informed of the policy ahead of time so we do apologize if that was not communicated. We will be looking into including that in our emails as well so that we are doing our best to inform everyone ahead of time. If you would like to reschedule we would be happy to have you back anytime.

mary-thomas hart: CP has classes available all day everyday, which makes it very convenient for my unpredictable schedule. Have taken classes with four different instructors so far and all have been fantastic! CP is my go-to Pilates studio!

Michelle Laubach: I've been going to Club Pilates for almost two months and love it! The reformer machines and other equipment is top notch. Even though I was a total beginner when I began, the instructors have been wonderful in teaching me how to use everything. The Club is pristine, the staff is warm and friendly. The only difficulty I've had is booking into the 530pm classes consistently. This is due to the meticulous Covid protocols the Club enforces by closing every other machine down. It's all for a great reason but does make it more difficult to get into classes. There is a great app in which you can schedule all of your classes, I just need to be faster in signing up each month :) Parking can be found underground or in the shopping center parking lot so I've never difficulty finding a space. Glad I found Club Pilates, I'm feeling stronger already!

Angelcots: I've never liked a fitness studio so much! Reformer Pilates feels nice when you're doing it but you still feel your worked muscles after class is over. There is also a variety of classes so you can take a more intense or relaxing class depending on what you feel like. Love the studio and the teachers. Probably the best pilates studio in the DMV.

Charlin C: I really enjoy the classes at Club Pilates Pentagon City. The instructors and staff are friendly and helpful. The music and atmosphere is calming! The membership is a great investment.

Michelle Donahue: Club Pilates offers great habits for life focusing on improving core strength. Offering reformer Pilates, TRX, BOSU, barre, springboard and winds chair, Pilates keeps fitness interesting and functional. Plus they have great instructors, just sayin!

Circle Yoga Cooperative: what do users think?

Volunteer Fhnn: This has been my yoga studio since 2010 and I'm so grateful for it. The studio's attentiveness to our well being and safety is among its many attributes. Instructors are extremely skillful for all levels of students. Being a co-op is added bonus! CY has managed through this pandemic offering Zoom classes that kept us all going. There is simply no other yoga studio in the DC metro area to compare to its variety of classes, skill level and management. Anyone interested in beginning/returning to yoga or expanding their yoga practice, this is the place for you.
Response: We're so glad that you've been part of the Circle Yoga community for more than 10 years!! Thank you for sticking with us through the pandemic. We would not have made it through without committed students like you.

Danielle Lewis: Circle Yoga is a terrific place to practice yoga - safe, welcoming, and inclusive. I took in-person classes for many years before the pandemic and appreciated their experienced teachers, lovely studio, and willingness to learn and evolve over time. It absolutely isn't a "scene" the way some DC studios can be. They have worked so hard to pivot and pivot again during the pandemic, and are now offering both excellent online and in-person classes (with safety front of mind).
Response: Thank you, thank you, Danielle! We really appreciate your support and your kind review. Loyal students like you have been so important to getting us through the craziness of the last couple of years. Phew!

Leah Hudson: Circle Yoga is an incredible studio. The staff is very warm and welcoming, and the studio is open and clean. I was drawn to the studio because they were one of the few in the DC area that offered in-person prenatal yoga classes. I felt safe with vaccine and mask requirements in place. The instructor, Jen, is amazing and offers modifications to help each individual.
Response: Leah, I'm so glad you're enjoying your Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga classes at Circle Yoga! Yes, in-person prenatal classes are hard to find in DC right now. We're so happy to have you and other prenatal and postnatal students in the building again. :)

Mira Courpas: Circle Yoga isn't only a yoga studio. It is a community of caring, involved individuals. The teachers and students are invested in each other and the world around them. It has been a lifeline for me throughout the pandemic, as they navigated the safety protocols and made decisions to keep the studio running and the community safe. I am back in person and it feels great to be there live with my wonderful teachers and classmates! Mira
Response: It's so wonderful to have you and other students back in person at the studio, Mira. YOU helped keep us going through the pandemic—it was a two-way street! Thanks for making Circle Yoga your yoga home in Washington, DC.

Elizabeth Kingery: I've been going to Circle Yoga since 2012 and am still impressed by the quality of the teachers, the wide variety of classes to choose from and the overall experience of the studio. The teachers are knowledgeable, careful to prevent injury and the staff is friendly and responsive. During the pandemic their pivot to zoom classes was a lifesaver. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Response: Many thanks for your kind review, Betsy. We're so glad to have you as one of our long-time students, and I hope that Circle Yoga will continue to be your yoga home for many years to come!

Emily Austin: I went to my first in-person yoga class today in 3.5 years at Circle Yoga. I was a little nervous because it had been so long and my body is very different than the last time I practiced (I've had 2 babies since then + the pandemic happened!) Also, I realized on my way there that I had forgotten to bring a mask. From the moment I walked in, everyone at Circle Yoga made me feel confident and welcome. The person at the front desk quickly checked me in and gave me a disposable mask. The class itself was 75 minutes. At first I thought it was a little slow (lots of stretching), but it heated up and I was sweating by the end. I feel so lucky to have Circle Yoga in my neighborhood & definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to practice in a respectful and positive place.
Response: I'm so glad your re-entry to yoga felt good, Emily. Welcome back! We're very happy to have you at Circle Yoga.

Jessica Ewers: We absolutely love Circle Yoga and have been taking classes for years! My almost 12 year old daughter has always been treated with kindness, compassion and love. The summer camp is the best! They incorporate art, movement, and positive self-awareness. I highly recommend this beautiful establishment.
Response: We are so glad that you and your daughter have been with us for so many years! We're looking forward to another great summer of Circle Yoga Summer Camp, and happy that J**** will be there again. :)

Sheri Denkensohn: I began going to Circle Yoga remotely during the pandemic. I live in Virginia and would never be able to have access to the studio. It is fantastic! I specifically enjoy yoga Nidra and gentle yoga. The instructors are top-notch and class feels like a community. I would not go anywhere else! It is well worth the money.
Response: Thank you, Sheri! We're so happy that the virtual options make it possible for you to join us for Circle Yoga classes—and without the commute from Virginia to DC. Thanks for being part of the CYC community!

Joan Alker: I love, love, love Circle Yoga and have been going there for years. The teachers are absolutely top notch and the studio is incredibly welcoming for people of all levels of experience. There are virtual and in person options. I have done yoga all over the country and this studio is very special.
Response: Joan, thank you for the wonderful review! You and your family are a very important of the CYC community. We're so happy that you've made Circle Yoga your yoga home in Washington, DC.

Kristina Carson: Circle Yoga is such a special place for me and my family. I started taking their prenatal classes with my first and continued growing with their class offerings from there. So lucky to have a such a bright and happy studio close to home!
Response: We are lucky to be connected to you, too, Kristina! Thanks for making Circle Yoga your yoga home in the neighborhood.

Epiphany Pilates: what do users think?

Linda Hooks: I've been working with Pilates and Barre at Epiphany Pilates for over 3 years and have experienced tremendous improvement in my strength and fitness without injury. The studio philosophy dictates care that we follow good form to avoid injury, which I have not experienced at other fitness studios. Recently they have introduced Gyrotonics, which is based in yoga, but also uses equipment. After the very first session, I had almost complete relief of chronic upper arm muscle and shoulder pain, which persisted for a week. After 2 more sessions, my chronic (over 15 years duration) has diminished and some has been eliminated. Epiphany Pilates is the place to go for functional fitness, without fear of injury.

sophia cassidy: I have been a member at Epiphany Pilates for almost 3 years and I love this place! Eurona is one of the best pilates instructors, she is very knowledgeable and encouraging. All the instructors I’ve had there are very professional. I always get a great workout whether I it’s the pilates class, suspension, or barre class. The place is clean and other members are always welcoming and friendly. You will not be disappointed here!

Kristen Ku: I recently moved to Fairfax, VA in July and found this place to start pilates. I was a beginner as this was the first time I had ever tried pilates and Eurona was so patient with me. She is the owner and lead instructor of epiphany pilates. She was so kind and explained things to me very well as I was learning. Not only did she help me physically but mentally. Additionally, I had no worries going into class during covid. All the equipment, etc was wiped down constantly and after each work out. I would highly recommend Epiphany Pilates!

Andrea Falkenhagen: This studio is fantastic and the owner, Eurona, is amazing. I had zero interest in pilates, but ended up here for a postnatal exercise class after having my second child, because there are so few postnatal workout options in this area. After a few sessions I was completely sold on pilates, and on Epiphany. It took me just a couple months of doing pilates 1-2x a week here to heal to the same level it had taken me *years* to achieve after having my first child. The core strength I've developed has also made it easier to chase after a toddler/pick him up constantly/lug a stroller/carry him around everywhere, etc. without resulting in sore muscles. Post COVID, Epiphany offers great Zoom classes, too. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good workout and a relaxed, nonjudgemental, supportive environment.

Arosha Chung: I love Epiphany Pilates! It really helped me to build and strengthen my core and I can really feel the changes in my body. Pilates shapes body in a pretty way. I want to thank Eurona and other instructors they are all very sweet and caring. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Alexandra Agyei: Pilates is an all around first for me, so when I began taking classes at epiphany and began understanding the many ways the machines are used to perform different series of workouts I was amazed! More so amazed at my own body strength and the different forms of motions and unfamiliar usage of those muscles we use to carry out the exercises. Its a divine feeling and most of all calming. Its yoga, its physical therapy, therapeutic really. Not only is it a full body massage but when you continue to workout regularly your able to experience different versions of the workouts as all of the instructors have their own unique style. Fantastic team!

Emily Triantafilo: Epiphany instructors are knowledgeable and patient. They take time with each student and explain in detail the moves you are learning and muscles you are working. They also always make themselves available before and after class for questions. I highly recommend Epiphany Pilates for everyone from the beginner Pilates student to the experienced. Try it out and see!

seo hyunjung: Since October 2017, I have been going to Epiphany about 5 times a week. I've never been disappointed by their classes or instructors. Most importantly, I've met the most incredible and friendliest students! Their management is exceptional as well. I've never experienced a work out like in this environment. I'm always excited to go to my next class. The transformation in my body in amazing as well, I can instantly feel a difference every week. If you're ever interested and you happen to read over my review, I suggest that you don't ignore your curiosity and just give it a try.

Kathy Song: I attended Epiphany through their one-month trial promotion and would have definitely renewed if I weren't moving out of state for occupational reasons. Eurona and the other instructors were fun, encouraging, and warm. I never felt like I was pressured to do as well as the more experienced folks, and I always felt like the hour-long classes maximized my workouts. I really did see results (got taller, leaner, better posture, and lost some weight) pretty quickly and am sad to leave. I think this is a great place to take the plunge and start your pilates journey!

Elisheva Barkay: Epiphany Pilates is the best Pilates studio I have experienced in Fairfax area. It is super professional and clean. Which are for me the most important factors when I workout. The trainers are excellent!!!! The customers are pleasant to work out with. I strongly recommend this place.

The Pilates Loft: what do users think?

DINA DOMINNA: As a hairstylist I thoroughly enjoybthe full body Workouts I get with Pilates loft. I started with 1 a week sessions & now I’m up to 2 to 3 times a week with one hour private trainings with my two different trainers Alyssa and Tamar. I have done CrossFit, Cross training, boot camps, bodybuilding, yoga (meh) as you can see I have done all! I have found that Pilates has the best benefit for me thus far especially as a 48 your old hard-working woman with a mild case of scoliosis! Class are ok if you want that setting. Personally I prefer 1 on 1 attention it’s totally worth the investment!!!

Cindy Fumei: Looking for top classical pilates training the way Joe taught it ... this is the place. Very safe covid practices ,spotlessly clean , personal bins for your belongings. This place has top trained teachers , a studio full of the best equipment plus easy booking for virtual or in studio classes. After being a classic studio owner for 12 years this place is a true find and honestly a gift to the community. The owner puts safety, quality teaching and cleanliness above all else and her care for the details show.

Charlotte Jackson: I've been taking lessons with Alia since last summer and have found her to be a great instructor who goes the extra mile to make sure clients are satisfied. She worked with me when I was super-pregnant to make sure I could still safely get a great workout. She even taught herself some Korean so she could better communicate with my MIL when I brought her in for a few lessons. (MIL was very impressed and really enjoyed her sessions; I think she may keep up the Pilates when she gets back to Seoul.) Even my husband has noticed how much better I feel after my weekly Pilates date and agrees that lessons here are 100% worth it.

Chelsea Corley: I love this studio! Not only is it a beautiful space but the instructors are fantastic! The instructors all teach classical Pilates and are attentive and inventive in their programming. This is a studio to come to to experience real Pilates!

Theresa Stark: Fantastic teaching staff. Pilates is the perfect strength building exercise and these classical instructors can't be beat.

Heather Glick: Outstanding studio.

barre3: what do users think?

Hannah Morris: I've been going to Barre3 for three years now and love this studio! All of the teachers are so welcoming and offer a great mix of challenging yet fun classes. Meredith and Lindsay have created such a wonderful atmosphere at the studio that make you excited to come back. The online classes and live zoom sessions during social distancing have been an added bonus and a great way to feel connected from home!

Laken Cortese: Barre3 Old Town is the absolute best! The instructors are so welcoming and are all amazing. They are personable and always make you excited for and motivated to do your best! The workouts are great and different each time, I've been a member for a year and a half and I feel so much stronger and love the mindfullness piece at the end of each class. I couldn't recommend a better studio than old town!

Laura Thibault: I love barre3 old town! I have tried pretty much every barre studio in town and this is by far THE BEST! I have also been to plenty of other barre3 studios (I’m so addicted I try to go even when traveling) and this studio is hands down my favorite. It’s a beautiful, spacious, sun-filled space, the teachers are incredible and play the best music, and I love the play lounge for my daughter so I can workout in peace. They also have super fun retail and frequently run fun events, challenges, and specials. And they have showers, towels, lockers, high-end products- everything you need to get ready for your day.

Jill Mackie: Barre3 old town.. I don’t even have words to explain how amazing this community is! I started with this community right when they opened simply because I loved barre and it was close to my house. Immediately upon joining this studio I realized it was NOTHING like any barre class or community that I had experienced in the past. Meredith, Lindsay and all of the instructors/staff make you feel so comfortable and welcome to be there. Not only do I take barre classes for physical strength but also (if not more) for mental strength. These ladies, and this entire community have gotten me through so much (pregnancy, post-partum and global pandemic 😫 just to name a few!) I recently broke my foot but still join in on Sunday’s to listen to Lindsay’s breath work to keep me feeling positive and motivated. LOVE this studio! 💕

Cait Fiocchi: The Barre3 Old Town staff/community is one of a kind! The workouts are amazing and the instructors are incredibly supportive. Sports were a part of my life through college & afterwards it took me a while to find a workout that had the intensity I was looking for, while also low impact. I haven’t felt this strong since college sports and it’s amazing! I can’t thank Meredith, Lindsay, & the entire B3 Old Town team for all they do for our community.

Christine Halsey: barre3 Old Town is an amazing studio! Every time I walk in the door the staff members are all so friendly and professional. The studio is clean, bright, warm, and inviting. The workouts are killer but are also so gentle on my body. My heart rate is sky high during the whole class with the variety of movement and mix of cardio and strength. Yet this energizing total-body workout is always low-impact, which I need given some injuries. There are always multiple layers and modifications that can be taken for any individual. It truly is a workout for everyone! Led by Meredith and Lindsay, the instructors are all fantastic. They are great motivators and they know how to get the most out of you. There is a real mindfulness component to every class. I've had instructors at other places that have told us to channel our anger and rage into pushing harder. Fortunately that is NOT the philosophy here! At barre3, the motivation is intrinsic, and while workouts are intense, the atmosphere is one of joy, love, and support. They really understand what life and exercise are all about! They also have a wonderful play lounge for little ones. When I was trying to find a studio a year to join a year and a half ago, childcare was a must. They understand how important it is too. The free lockers and well-stocked showers are also wonderful perks. And I can't forget the awesome music!

Jessica Petchenick: Barre3 old town is the best! I’ve been taking classes here since they opened and took my 500th class just a few months ago. Meredith, Lindsay, and the whole team are so supportive. Every class is fantastic and they have the best childcare available while you workout. They’ve gone above and beyond with offering online options during the current craziness. I love connecting virtually and can’t wait to be back in the studio.

Jennifer Condon: Barre 3 Old Town is such a special place. I leave every class feeling super sweaty and lighter in mind and stronger in body! The teachers are fantastic and the community is really special. They make it super easy to get a challenging workout in (modified to all levels) and run straight to work after - as they have the best products and showers :) I truly can't say enough about this studio!

Stephanie Early Green: I started going to Barre3 in December 2017, right after my second child turned one. I'd been struggling for years with chronic back pain and when I walked into Barre3 for the first time, my core was weak, my back hurt all the time, and I had resigned myself to feeling injured, in some way, for the rest of my life. But in the two and a half years that I've been coming to Barre3, I've seen such a huge change in my body, from my posture to my core strength to my overall pain. I am stronger, less prone to injury, and I look forward to each workout. My chiropractor actually asked me what I'd done to remake my posture, and I told him Barre3, and he told me to keep doing it for the rest of my life. :) The Barre3 workout truly does balance out your body, and I love that it's adaptable to each individual body, each individual day. I was able to do the workout throughout my entire third pregnancy and did not experience any of the back pain and weakness I felt with my second pregnancy (when I was running and swimming and had never heard of Barre3). I also love that the workout includes mindfulness and breath-work. The Barre3 philosophy focuses on strength and adaptability, not bikini bodies or pushing through pain. I love it. What makes this studio so special, apart from the workout (which is, as I said, is SO GOOD), are the people. Meredith, Lindsay, and all of the instructors are warm, caring, and friendly. From the moment I started coming here, I felt welcomed into a community, and that feeling has only grown stronger over the last 2.5 years. Now that the studio is temporarily closed because of the pandemic, I especially miss seeing familiar faces and receiving hugs and high-fives in the studio. I've never gone to an exercise studio that has felt so welcoming. It's such a great place. Can't wait to go back as soon as we can gather again!

Michelle Lang: This studio is the best! I've been coming for 3 years and it never stops challenging me. I love the format of Barre3 classes - and now during quarantine they have a huge variety of online and live classes (10 min, 30, and 40-50 min options). The instructors are all awesome, and Meredith and Lindsay have built a strong community.

Raquel Grayson: there staff is horrible paid for an appointment gladly took my money never got the service. day of appointment got email saying that they keep appointment both were to busy and sad apology. Things happen so I asked since you wont honoring my paid appointment will I be receiving my money back no answer called both numbers for never answer get a call back from rudest person ever claiming to be responding on behalf of staff but not the "owner" right asked for all my info as if im harassing or bothering them said im just trying to figure what happening as far as a service I paid for still no answer. just saying buyer beware the positive review must be from friends or personal colleague. because apparently they do not want new business only to steal their money. I can see why they need to steal because customer service is not important to them

Pure Barre: what do users think?

Mary Claire Tansill: Highly recommend if you're looking for a challenging, low impact workout that will make you feel both mentally and physically strong after every class. Also, teachers and staff are very friendly and will answer any questions you have!
Response: Thank you for the kind words Mary Claire! We are so grateful for the opportunity to support your mental and physical health. Congratulations on completing 250 classes! We'll be cheering you on to your next milestone and beyond.

sara agostini: Great workouts, instructors and staff. The staff in particular has been very patient, accommodating and understanding besides being very professional and kind. When I had troubled with the app or I had to reschedule, they called and offered help and solutions so I wouldn’t miss workouts or lose credits. The workout is awesome too, I just want to highlight their great customer care. Highly recommended!
Response: Hi Sara, Thank you for your positive feedback! Our team loves supporting our community and we're thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your experience at Pure Barre DC. See you at the barre soon!

Rebekah Hoshiko: I tried a variety of workout classes, including spin, yoga, and HIIT, but never enjoyed any of them until I began Pure Barre. It's the perfect intensity level, and I always leave a workout feeling challenged but not exhausted. I'm also training for a race and barre has been an excellent cross-training routine, especially in the winter when it's tough to get outside. All the Pure Barre instructors are friendly and encouraging, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Lindsey Ellertson: I get migraines if I do any workouts that are too high impact, so have never been great at working out consistently. I decided to give Pure Barre a chance and so far I love it! It works all the areas of my body I want to tone without the high impact of other classes I’ve taken. I’ve been 5 times and it hasn’t triggered my migraines. This studio is great and I love all the instructors so far. They are really welcoming to new comers and are great at helping with form to get the most of the work out. I will definitely keep coming back!

Catherine Rodgers: Pure Barre is the highest quality barre studio around. I have tried multiple barre studios in the DC area and and Pure Barre is by far the best and most effective. The staff is extremely friendly and are always willing to go above and beyond to help you have the best experience in each class. Each instructor makes an effort help you learn the right techniques. I have been attending a littler over one month now and I can already see results. I have so enjoyed my experience with this studio and I look forward to many more classes!

Jenee Sharon: Pure Barre Dupont is the best! The classes are a challenging but fun workout, the studio is always clean, and most of all, their staff is friendly and attentive. They really make an effort to remember your name and motivate you individually during classes, which gives it a community feel. I have been coming to this studio for over a year and I keep coming back because it’s the best barre workout and they keep it different each class. Definitely encourage you to try it out, it’s worth the time and money.

Calli Obern: I love going to Pure Barre - it’s low-impact and incredibly challenging, and you feel great walking out. I appreciate that the instructors always know your name and are attentive to make sure your form is correct so you don’t hurt yourself and so you get the best workout. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to try barre. I also love the carpeting, which feels gentle on your body.

Naomi LaChance: Love Pure Barre! A great full-body workout that really pushes you to your limit. The instructors are super welcoming and encouraging, and they are great about making sure your technique is right during each of the movements. I love that the instructors take the time to learn everyone's names in class! A really fun, rewarding class that flies by.

Jenna Friedberg: I've loved coming to Pure Barre so far! The instructors are so helpful and knowledgeable, and it's been great to have such qualified teachers especially because I'm a beginner. They take the time to learn your name, and are always so eager to help you make the most of the workout. Plus this studio is really close to the DuPont Metro, which makes it super convenient! Love this place, will definitely keep going!

Florie Mendiola: The staff and instructors are friendly and motivating. They make it a point to know your name and they make me feel welcomed. The classes are always challenging and the instructors are thoughtful about guiding you to get the most out of your experience. The place is clean and inviting. I appreciate the ease and efficient flow of each experience from signing up for classes, reminder emails, option to cancel classes, quick in and out is mindful of each members time. I would absolutely recommend pure barre D.C. I leave every class feeling supported and accomplished.

Equinox Anthem Row: what do users think?

Stephanie C: Some of the best group fitness instructors and personal trainers I’ve ever met!! Love their classes
Response: Thanks for the 5 stars, Joann!

Direnc Ak: I was a member at this location for over 2 years. I have nothing but positive experience overall. Before I signed up, they gave me a detailed tour and patiently answered my never-ending questions. The membership & auto-payment set up was a breeze. They have generous free weight area, very clean floors/lockers/restrooms, new & good quality machines, awesome shampoo/body wash/moisturizer products, and had a satisfactory enforcement of mask requirement during the pandemic. I felt quite safe and enjoyed my workouts. Just so you know though, it can get busy/crowded during 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on the weekdays. (Mostly from Monday to Wednesdays) Other than that, they also don't have a pool or basketball court like the one in Dupont Circle location. Anthem Row location is smaller comparing to Dupont Circle. Lastly, I think what I like most about this location is the overall quality of other gym members. I mean don't get me wrong, I've been to other gyms too, but at this location people are just doing their own thing, they don't come bother you, or push you around/rush you to finish your set quickly, walk around with a shirt off, or yell over your head and chat with their friends, or listen music very loudly, etc. Other gym members I've had interacted with during my membership were always quite polite/well mannered folks. I'll miss this location. Special thanks to Jeffrey (General manager) and Anthony (assistant general manager) for doing an amazing job!

Crissi Luv: I love this gym. Spa like and tranquil. The classes are a1. Times are great. Classes all day.
Response: Thanks for the feedback, Crissi!

Grant Stavros: Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismGot transferred overseas in late October of last year. Informed management that I was relocating overseas. Have been charged an additional 3 months including the month of January still haven't cancelled membership.
Response: Hi Grant, please connect with us at Concierge@equinox.com. We would love to get additional details that led to this review so we can investigate closely and identify opportunities for improvement in our services. Please be sure to mention your review so we can address quickly.

M Ben A: Walked in there to ask for membership and tour told only with an “advisor” not very welcoming that’s what I felt 😠the guy on the front desk did not even offer an appointment !!!
Response: Hi Ben, we're sorry to hear you've had this experience. We hope that you'll give us another shot to show you the service we are capable of providing. If you would like to reach out and share additional feedback, please connect with us at Concierge@equinox.com. Please be sure to mention your review so we can address quickly.

Brandon Morris: Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismSet up a membership without my consent. When I tried to email them to make sure it was cancelled they tried to sell me another membership. Very poor business practices. As a former member, I could have been an easy sell, but will never rejoin after this experience.

Ryan D: When it comes to a gym, you get what you pay for, and, although this is a bit pricey and restrictive, that added benefits make me want to go to the gym. Excellent free weight section and class offerings. My only suggestion--extend closing hour from 8:00 pm to 10:00 p.m.

Evan Long: Everything you’d expect from the brand, and very seldom crowded except at absolute peak times. They’ve taken enhanced sanitation seriously given COVID, and I particularly appreciate that they kept their word and allowed me to break my one-year contract a couple months early when I moved away.

Trade Stock: Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality2 experiences with this gym, 2 different employees. Both atrocious, -100/1. The have the same attitude your kids have when they start growing up. Beware...

Wallace Bachman: So glad Equinox has found its way into DC proper! This location is spacious by New York Equinox standards, both on the floor, which is a single floor with ample natural light, and the men’s locker room. It’s very clean, the staff are friendly and beautiful, and everything is in great repair. I’ve never been to an Equinox where the stretching area was so well-equipped (bands etc etc) and well organized. The Juice Press was small and didn’t have much, but that seems to be the way of Equinox juice bars over the last several years. 😢

VIDA Fitness U Street: what do users think?

Benyam Ephrem: Overall: Solid gym, nothing is overtly missing. You can do everything you need to do. Summary: Basically 3 floors, cardio floor, machine + dumbbell floor, powerlifting floor (w/ dumbbell rack). Good: The ambiance and vibe is good. You feel like you are working out in a cave with a bunch of people. Bad: - Working out from 5-6/7 sucks. The gym is too small to serve the load of patrons at rush times. There aren’t enough benches & benches for presses so you find yourself waiting for major lifts. - If you go any other time that is non-rush it is a solid gym - The benches are way too close to the mirrors, you can’t do heavy lifts and drop weights. It just feels cramped. You have to maneuver around people doing heavy lifts and there are just personal space issues (when squatting I don’t want anyone near me, we have mental bubbles). - Maybe picky but the dumbbells are decent ones. I’ve used better with more grip (steel handle with a mesh pattern etched in). They are a bit narrow in grip and have plastic handles with decent grip. This nuance is kind of annoying and grip is worse so I just do few dumbbell movements now. I’d give ~3 1/2 stars but I imagine there is a huge constraint on real-estate within the city so a gym can only be so large, etc (can’t compare it to gyms I’ve been to elsewhere). But at ~$120/130/mo you’d want more space and just…more. But this was the closest complete gym option to me (.8 mile jog) and the vibes are good. Edit: Have visited all other branches. Nice to be able to switch up gyms on a day you have time to jog farther. Great branding & vibe consistency. Great value add if you want to switch things up and drop in other gyms.
Response: Hi Benyam, thank you for your review and feedback. We take great pride in our facilities and glad to hear you have overall had a great experience. I'll make sure to share the feedback regarding both the dumbbell grips and the placement of benches in relation to the mirror. I invite you to try out some of the other locations in your membership if you get the opportunity, although I can appreciate that our U Street location is less than a mile away from you and that's fantastic. Stay strong, stay well, and see you at VIDA again soon!

Smiley Sunshine: Definitely worth the money spent! My favorite is the Sweatbox Class. Lost 14 pounds within a month and a 1/2 just in time for my wedding. Took a month off, then returned and worked out until the day of my surgery. I am recovering and So far, I can only do bike and light cardio :( but safety first. Once I'm cleared to do high intensity workouts, I will go to the Sweatbox. Can wait!
Response: Wow, and thanks for this review! Glad to hear you got the results you wanted for your wedding and hope you had a great time on your big day. It sounds like you're well on your way back to Sweatbox and we can't wait to have you rejoin some classes. Take it easy on the road to recovery and we'll see you VERY soon. Stay strong, stay healthy, stay well!

Taylor Hayes: I pay entirely too much money for there to be towels in the floor from a roof leak, a scale in the locker room that has been low battery for a week so I can’t weigh myself, and RUDE STAFF. Will be canceling my membership this month.
Response: Hi Taylor, we're super bummed to hear this and our facilities team works hard to ensure these kind of issues don't happen. I'll flag this with them, as well as the management team at U Street, and see what's going on. We hope we don't lose you as a member and invite you to chat with the team there so they can actively address your concerns. Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback. - The VIDA Team

David Gershman: In the most appropriate way, I can say that Vida does not prioritize member safety in its steam rooms and saunas.
Response: Hi David, thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback. We recently rolled out new policies regarding our steam rooms and sauna with this goal squarely in mind, so curious to hear what sort of issues you are having. Please feel free to speak to the GM at U Street privately and/or contact our DIB with your concerns. Their information can be found at www.vidafitness.com/diversityboard. We take our members safety very seriously. Thanks again.

Joe Kawly: The most decent gym in DC. But lately, they have been faking short especially when it comesTo maintenance. It feels like each day there is something not working.

Mattia Pallozzi: Honestly I have had always a lovely experience, clean fun and the staff especially has always been pretty amazing, from managers to trainers! 👌🏻👌🏻
Response: Hi Mattia, thanks so much for the 5 star review! We think our staff is pretty awesome too and glad to hear you're getting such great service. Not to mention our housekeeping team, which we truly believe is the best in the biz. Thanks again and see you at U Street again soon!

Harry Longlast: I a had meeting with Paul and all I can say is that I have never felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed before. His rude comments about my " big chunky thighs and lack of motivation " were very unprofessional. How do you even motivate someone by highlighting his/her insecurities? He was very rude and impatient. I am not an experienced lifter, however I was under the impression that the staff and culture at vida fitness were solid. The level of unprofessionalism really upset me and will for sure never come back. He was trying way too hard and pushing me to buy a membership and did not even consider my questions, concerns. I believe as a sales director or rep; you must be able to not only know your product but to hear your clients needs in order to better cater to their need. I run a local blog with over 5,000 daily readers and will for sure write about this awful experience. I understand I am overweight but I want to make the changes in my life that get me healthier; I just wish mr Paul, as a professional would be more empathetic and see me as a human being; not just a number.

Reynaldo Castillo: Positive: ProfessionalismAmazing workout experience from the membership consultation to the quality of the facility. Paul Leiby understood my fitness goals and listened to all my concerns as I came from another gym franchise. I fully endorse the quality of the experience and I guaranty you will see results in your fitness goals.
Response: Thank you for the kind and thoughtful review, Reynaldo! We're thrilled to have you as a member of the VIDA Fitness U Street community, and we're delighted to hear that Paul has been such an asset in helping you reach your fitness goals. Take care - and thank you for joining us!

Jordan Bayless: Absolutely love the gym itself. The facility is large and has a dedicated floor for compound lifts filled with squat racks and deadlift platforms. Unfortunately, personal trainers usually dominate this space and use it for calisthenics and TRX workouts. Granted, they seem very focused on ensuring their clients have a great experience, just at the cost of other members. As a result, there is almost never an open rack or platform. The locker rooms are top notch. With a sauna, steam room, and showers that have excellent bath products, there is amazing attention to detail. The rest of the facility is nice as well. Although, it is devoid of some typically essential equipment such as seated leg curls. These spaces, to include cardio rooms, are often overcrowded and only seem to be less trafficked from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Overall, the facility is great, to include the rooftop pool. However, these seem to be used as selling points to encourage new members and after joining, the organization only is invested in trying to get members to spend more money through personal trainers, nutritionists, etc. rather than ensure members spending $180/month have an enjoyable experience.

Robert Mckernan: Pros: They have an entire floor dedicated to power lifting that has squat racks and platforms so you don’t have to wait! One always opens up within 3-5 minutes even at peak hours. The roof top pool is great and so is the food as well. I love those friggin’ wings and drinks! They also never run out of sanitizer, sprays, wipes and towels. Great hours is also a plus. I have a second membership at a competitor for later hours when my schedule entails but vida is definitely my preferred location. The members are super friendly and great and I never see anyone not masked or sassy when they’re required; I’ve made many friends at the pool so keep that in mind. Value is a plus; I’m used to spending ~150-300/mo for other premium/lux gyms and I feel what they charge is very fair. Also a barber in the gym is great and they have quality cuts. Cons: Their billing department is deficient, I’ve never had a issue with a gym not being able to schedule recurring charges, and it seems they have been unable to properly due so. The $150 sign up fee that gets rolled over into credit to use at the gym, it took two months for it to get added into the barber account. I had to follow up about it several times to make that happen. Very frustrating and not a very luxurious feeling to have to deal with that as a new member. Each month billing cycle roles around and i ask them (FD) if everything is squared away and they say yup/yes you're all good. Yet for the past two months in a row they contact me weeks after it’s due saying I have late fees and haven’t paid. Even when I’ve called and spoke to them each time on the phone after the first warning they still don’t properly process it and it ends up back after 10 days in a email; you have late fees, it’s very disappointing. I know they’re able to process my card; they’ve charged that same card “no show fees” when I’ve booked for the pool and it’s canceled due to rain. So it seems sus. It took about 3 weeks of my effort of calling, emailing and talking to the front desk to get that squared away to refund the “no show fee” when they closed the pool due to weather. In that process many emails were not answered. They did however eventually reverse the charges but it wasn’t easy and the communication was absent until finally getting ahold of the billing manager in person as she was taking out trash one day. She was very kind and apologizes and seemed to be the person who gets things done. If I were the owners I’d give her more tools or people to work in her department to make their billing staff efficient, or let someone else take out trash so she can better allocate her skills to where they’re most needed. The rude front desk manager in other posts is most likely John/Jon, he doesn’t listen to guests and always responds with attitude. I tried to review my account today and was met with “well maybe you should try paying your card so it doesn’t decline”, like dude I’ve never carried a balance, and when I paid it with the same card today in person there was no issue. I definitely did not appreciate his less than helpful personality. I would like this late fee reversed but I would happily pay $10 to not have to talk to John/Jon again. **Communication** Forget about trying to leave a message anywhere, inboxes are full at their billing specialists, pool inbox, everywhere on their phone tree. Emails aren’t answered, so your only chance to have them resolve any issue is in person, provided you find someone willing. Penthouse reservations; weekend slots for premium seating are booked quickly and often occupied primarily by their employees; seems sus. If you want a spot; set a alarm for 167.9 hours before you want it and immediately book when it changes to 168 hours, else lose your chance to vibe on a daybed or cabana on the weekend. In summary: it’s a good place and I’m sure they're doing the best they can during this pandemic, but boy it can be frustrating. If it gets better I’ll be sure to update this review. Best Rob

Mind the Mat Pilates & Yoga - Clarendon: what do users think?

Jon Phuong: I love trying different forms of exercise and a friend of mine got me to go to my first pilates class. I had Dani as the instructor, it was really challenging and a lot of fun. I'm a seasoned martial artist and no stranger to absolute killer training sessions; Dani's classes and Mind The Mat definitely exceeded my expectations.

Suzie Jane: At this studio, I was on the outside of a big inside joke between the guests and the teachers. I didn’t really feel welcomed as an unfamiliar face. The yoga classes I attended were unreasonably fast-paced and the Pilates classes just weren’t enjoyable. If you want your practice to be shrouded with the bored, Tory Burch-clad housewives of Arlington who can’t seem to be quiet, this is the place for you.

Sybil Bullock: Recently attended one of their outdoor yoga classes in the park, my first real in person group yoga class in 8 months - so wonderful! Great instructor named Stacey, small socially distanced group, nice music and great flow overall. Such a gift to experience this in beautiful weather. Highly recommend!

Brittany Gerig Campbell: Great location by Clarendon across from George Mason's Arlington campus. I took a 6 week Beginners Workshop and loved it. The studio wasn't crowded and they did a good job explaining which classes were right for beginners.

Pär L: Great instructors, affordable prices, nice locations both in Clarendon/Arlington and Del Ray/Alexandria with tons of class options in both locations, as well as outdoor classes.

Praxi Pilates: what do users think?

Amy Bowser: I look forward to every class!! Carey is an amazing instructor and I’ve seen real results in just a few months. And a stronger core has led to improvements with all of my other work outs. Check out classes with Jeff and Andrea too. They may seem easier at first but then you feel that burn the next day. Whether you are new to Pilates or a seasoned pro - this spot is for you!!
Response: Thanks, Amy! We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!

Laura Vogel: I've been taking classes with Carey for quite some time now, and she balances challenge with inspiration perfectly (for all levels)! The studio is a peaceful, welcoming place that I look forward to entering after a long and hectic day. The other instructors (Jeff, Andrea, Kelly and Caroline) are all very good at what they do, and bring good karma into the space. So glad Praxi is here!
Response: Thanks, Laura! We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!

Beth Wodarski: I just love Praxi Pilates! Carey is the BEST Pilates teacher I've ever met. She keeps the reformer classes interesting and challenging -- I get stronger from each and every class. Carey is very motivating and I truly enjoy learning from her!
Response: Thanks, Beth! We love your dedication to pilates and your health/fitness! Looking forward to seeing you in the studio soon! Carey

Kimberly Handler: Carey is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I have been practicing pilates for more than ten years, and Carey is the best instructor I have ever worked with. I tried every pilates studio in the DC/MD/VA area, and NOTHING compared to Carey's classes (or her rates!!). She provides the best workouts, while effortlessly adjusting to various skill levels in each class. Before she purchased this new studio, I followed her around to various locations in the area because she is SO worth it. And now she has her own beautiful new studio!! I strongly encourage anyone who is looking to tone and shape their body while improving their health to GO TO PRAXI PILATES! It will be the best decision you make for yourself!
Response: Thank you, Kim!

Alys Star: I have been following the owner Carey as an instructor to the different places she has been at for the last several years so I am so happy she has her own studio now. She is one of the best instructors I have worked out with -- she puts a lot of thought and planning into creating a challenging balanced class with a pilates-foundation for all of the exercises. She always is mixing things up, coming up with new moves, or finding a way to challenge you with some of the classics. The new studio is beautiful, bright, clean, modern, and a true pilates playground with a ton of space for reformer, mat, TRX, and chair workouts with affordable pricing. Always easy street parking and as a plus it's easy to get to and close to my home!
Response: Thank you! We always look forward to seeing you in the studio!

Janine Rudder: The owner, Carey, is super knowledgeable. The studio is spacious and bright. The energy is high and the workouts are challenging. Praxi is a fantastic addition to the area, can't wait to take more classes!
Response: Thanks so much, Janine! Hope to see you many more times in the studio!

Samantha Lee: The Pilates studio that I've been waiting for! Classes are challenging and the teachers all know how to modify to fit everyone's needs. This place is definitely my go to Pilates spot.
Response: Thank you, Sam!

Christina Draber: Absolutely amazing work out. I’m just starting to learn the reformer and Carey has been fantastic making sure form is correct and to challenge myself. Workout for life!
Response: Thanks for being dedicated to pilates and health! We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!

Miko Neri: Love the studio, the instructors, and the variety of classes offered. Peaceful place to workout and a wonderful welcoming community.
Response: Thank you, Miko! We love your dedication to your health and fitness! We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!

Kate Gilbride: What a great workout!! I have taken the reformer class twice now and can’t get enough. Will definitely be adding this to my workout routine.
Response: Thank you, Kate! Hope to see you in the studio again soon!

Excel Pilates Northern Virginia: what do users think?

N B: I cannot say enough good things about Excel Pilates! I have known Alexandra for almost a decade now and you could not be in better hands. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful in guiding you towards your goals. I have truly never felt better. As someone that has been suffering from very tight hips my Pilates sessions have been a miracle. I always joke that I feel like a “glow stick” after each session from the relief I feel. I have noticed a significant improvement in my flexibility and range of motion. Alexandra is truly a miracle worker! I cannot recommend Excel Pilates enough.
Response: Thank you, Nazdar!! We will keep that glow going!

Kristy Jo Winkler: I finally found my Pilates home! As an instructor, I've taught in numerous studios in the DMV and can say without a doubt that Alexandra and her team are perfectly perfect at their craft. As a student of Alexandra and Diana, I find them to be smart, funny, kind, honest and they always find ways to push you to be your best self. It's especially appealing to me that Excel Pilates teaches the original Joseph Pilates classical method and Alexandra is a second generation student of Joseph H. Pilates.

Dianne VanBeber: Studying at Excel Pilates for the last three years has been a wonderful growth experience for me. I started Pilates to combat osteoporosis. Over time, it has become the gift I give to myself. The instructors are professionals, certified and always pursuing additional studies. They share the benefits of their studies with their students, explaining the how AND the why, and always in the context of my physical goals and limitations. They are coaches and partners in my goal of improving my strength and health. I recommend them without reservation.
Response: Thank you, Dianne! Your dedication is admirable!

Monica Yeonas: Everything about Excel Pilates is Wonderful! I started going here as a first time Pilates student, Gail is my teacher and she is terrific. It is a small upscale Boutique Studio: impeccably clean and orderly. I have never had to wait. Ladies are all very nice and full of knowledge. Gail is a truly dedicated instructor and is patient, kind and fun!. She knows her plates and you can tell she is devoted to her followers. I wouldn't go anywhere until you check out Excel. They are the Best in Northern Virginia!

dana karp: Excel Pilates NOVA is amazing. Fantastic instructors who are focused on classical pilates with a focus on proper alignment. As someone who looked 50 in the rearview years ago, Excel Pilates has helped me heal low back and neck issues from old sports injuries better than any other workout . During the pandemic, the owner and my instructor have created a safe, clean space with social distancing in the studio and options for virtual classes. I have taken advantage of both. So glad I found this studio!
Response: Thank you, Dana! We are also so glad you found us!

Nicole Cologne Mullan: I have been doing Pilates with Alexandra at Excel NOVA for 7+ years. I cannot say enough good things. Alexandra is truly an expert on classical Pilates. If you are looking for a real deal Pilates experience, this is it! I did Pilates through my entire first pregnancy and I attribute it, and Alexandra's knowledge, to my easy pregnancy and delivery! Can't say enough great things!

Diane Adams-Strickland: Pilates will change your life...with the right instructor. I am not exaggerating, Alexandra is a miracle worker. I came to her with hip bursitis and knee pain due to running; I was afraid I was going to have to give it up. With Alexandra’s complete understanding of the classical Pilates method, excellent teaching, watchful eye, and commitment to my wellbeing, I finished my first marathon in October pain free! Additionally, I have never felt better about my body...and I am 44 with 2 children. The studio and Alexandra are 2 gems in McLean. ❤️

Crystal Mccall: This is a great studio! Diane has been a true inspiration! She is knowledgeable, motivating and energetic. She is also very patience and truly listens to her client's needs. I have a history of severe back issues. Happy to say I haven't been to the chiropractor in over a year since I've started working with her!

Kay Kornman: Love this beautiful studio and the teachers! Have studied with Alex for years and recently starting working with Victoria who is also wonderful teacher. Recommend it highly for new and advanced Pilates students.

Christina Howard: If you are interested in the true, classic Pilates experience, Excel Pilates is for you! Nothin beats the full-body workout, strength building that you will receive in a beautiful studio. I would not do Pilates anywhere else!

Powercore Pilates: what do users think?

Nichelle Nassif: Francesca is amazing. When I began with Francesca, I had two young kids, and had only a very basic knowledge of Pilates and certainly never reformer, nor worked out for the last 4 years. She listened to my needs and expectations and developed a program that worked for me. She is excellent at targeting exact areas of the body you’d like to tone and creating an exercise program unique to you. I’ve also had knees surgeries and she is great on modifying exercises. I feel back to my pre pregnancy body and am so happy I found her! Highly recommend!

Suchaya Laddaphan: I have known Francesca of Powercore Pilates and been her client for over a decade. I have recommended Francesca to many of my friends in the past years because I know she can be that source of knowledge when it comes to Pilates and adjusting to each client's needs. After an injury, Francesca understood my difficulty in range of motion in my left shoulder and was able to tailor the Pilates movements to be more comfortable to perform and also assisted in my physical therapy at every session. She would recommend exercises that I can do at home and reinforce it when she saw me in class. The attention that Francesca provides to her clients shows that she cares about her clients and that's how she is able to maintain her client relationship so well over the years I have known her. I have worked out with her other clients at group sessions and they are many same faces that I have seen over the years. She has known me since my early 20s and I am now in my mid 30s. It goes to show the trust that I have in her to be my Pilates and personal trainer. Even with the pandemic, she was able to quickly adjust to the situation and offered virtual classes including group Pilates class that I am still a part of. She always asks her clients for feedback throughout the years to ensure that her clients are getting what they need and if there are areas that she can improve upon or offer better, she will try her best to accommodate or take on the challenge. Last but not least, her studio is very well maintained and has the necessary equipment that will keep you engaged and challenged in each session, whether it's a Pilates class or a personal training session.

Carolyn Weininger: Francesca is an wonderful teacher. She is highly trained, creative and fun. She is always finding new ways to help me take my fitness to the next level. Her studio is bright, clean and fully equipped. I would highly recommend Francesca and Power Core Pilates.
Response: Thank you for this amazing review, we love taking your fitness to the next level!!! Bring it on :-)))

Dario P.: Amazing is the best/only way to describe Francesca at Powercore. She is incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and a clear-cut experienced professional. As someone new to Pilates seeking to improve core strength and knock out back pain, Francesca’s process really takes into account your goals & physique in her teaching style with focus on form to attain these goals. Highly recommend this service. You won’t regret it!

Marion Lancial: Francesca is an amazing teacher ! I had so many troubles with my back and absolutely not a fitness girl, but thanks to her, this memory is long gone and I even enjoy a good workout with her ! She always takes in consideration how your body feels and she adjusts the exercice to help you. And the must for me was about all the virtual classes she offers now : with 2 kids, it is the only way for me to keep training ! Pilates changed my life thanks to her kindness and motivation ☺️

Erin Lyons: I absolutely love doing Powercore pilates. Not only do I have the best time working out, I feel so strong and energized afterwards. Francesca is a patient and caring teacher, and she makes the whole experience so enjoyable. She explains every thing clearly, so no prior experience is necessary. I definitely recommend doing Powercore pilates for anyone who is interested in getting an amazing workout and having a good time.

B: I highly recommend Francesca to anyone looking for a Pilates instructor or personal trainer. She pushes me to get the most out of every workout, focusing on meeting goals and using proper form. At the same time, she emphasizes safety, taking care to avoid injury. She knows her stuff, is fun and encouraging, and gets results!

Laura Gates: Francesca knowledge of the classic pilates method and continuing education makes her a great instructor, she spends time explaining each position and ensures you are getting the best work out. She has been a life saver for me, when I started going to her studio I was having cronic pain and now almost 2 1/2 years of practicing my pain has reduced and my body feels stronger my posture has improved overall a great place Thank you Francesca! Bonita

Amy Venit: I worked with Francesca for months as a way of cross-training and maintaining strength and flexibility while training for triathlons. We pivoted our workouts when I got pregnant as a way to stay physically and mentally healthy during the covid lockdown. Every workout was customized and I always felt like I had a great workout based on my condition at the time. Highly recommend for pre/post natal or as a way of cross-training!

Rania Attia: I’ve worked with Fran for about 3 years now and she is an excellent and knowledgeable trainer. She trained me throughout my pregnancy. Fran was able to work on strength and challenge me in a very safe and effective way which helped with my delivery and post-partum recovery. I highly recommend power core Pilates!
