Mark Weinress: Really like this store, and all the Room & Board locations. Large and nicely laid out for easy shopping. Well priced, well made stylish furniture with a good, but not overwhelming selection. Very helpful staff. Lots of options on upholstery and other details. I've bought quite a number of pieces at the Room & Board in Chelsea, NYC.

Brandon Gaimari: Customer service is actually good but products are over priced junk. Bought a bedroom set and the design of the bed causes it to squeak every time you roll over. Customer service had Dr. Furniture come out twice - one time screws were missing in the bed, the next time installed slat pads (why were these not installed originally?). For the price you pay, the quality is not what it should be. Beware.

Anna Harrington: First, we had a guy helping us who like was non responsive at the Logan circle room and board. Then I ordered online for July 7 and the furniture store confirmed via email and when I called they told me July 7 was unavailable. Not good service for the price and wouldn’t buy here again.

Summer Logan: I was working with Lisa (who apparently is the store manager). Her behavior does not seem like she should be. My problem was passed off to Peter and I felt underappreciated as a client. Would not recommended the people that work here. Service is below expectations for the money you spend and management should do a better job. Seems like they do not care or engage with clients. Highly disappointed and unsatisfied.

Kathryn Adamcik: I ordered a couch from here in August and it was to be delivered at the start of December. It was delayed until the end of December and I waited for it to arrive. 1 day before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse I got an email saying it would be delayed for 2 more months. I waited for 2 months and days before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse after the 2 month delay I got an email saying it was delayed again. I have called customer service and they have been of no help. They have no idea when the couch will arrive or what the progress is on it. They will not give a discount for this long delay. I am stuck in a pattern where I expect the couch to arrive any day, and then it gets pushed back. This is not okay. I paid over 3k for my couch and am just getting brushed off by customer service, the managers that I have spoken with, and the associates who we spoke to in the store we shopped at. I was planning on purchasing a side table, coffee table, and lamp after the couch arrived, but I will no longer be using room and board in the future. I ask you all to be wary of purchasing from here. I paid for the couch in full and now it looks as if it will never arrive. I expect more from this company, and am highly dissapointed.

Catie Kemp: Love love love. They were a bit too pricey for me to consider when I was living in my apartment, but since buying my place last November I have become a very loyal customer. I started working with Daren to get an idea of what I wanted in my living room- just having the sounding board was so helpful. I have since outfitted my entire living room with them- probably went to the store at least ten times before making my order and never felt harassed or pushed into buying immediately. My mom bought her first house in over a decade this summer and I’ve encouraged her to buy with them too (which she has and has had an equally good experience). The biggest thing for me when I’m spending money on furniture is knowing that a) it will last and b) having confidence in my purchase. I most recently ordered a set of four dining chairs which arrived on Friday and the color just isn’t quite right in my space. I went into the store yesterday and discussed the issue with an associate (didn’t catch her name)- they are very up front about wanting to make things right if you’re not happy. She gave me a sample swatch to take home and test in my space and this morning I called customer care who was happy to facilitate an exchange for me. They are back ordered until February so they even offered me the option of keeping the current chairs (so long, of course, as they are kept in excellent condition). Even speaking to their central customer service center is a personalized experience- I don’t have the same concern with other businesses that my order or request is going to get lost in the shuffle. You can get just about anything in any color/fabric/wood stain/finish that they have and the quality is outstanding- I really wish they were in the kitchen cabinet business because their wood quality, in my opinion, is unmatched by any other business I’ve explored at their scale. Everything is made in the US (Minnesota I believe). Of course with the pandemic things (especially custom items) can take a couple or a few months to come in, but this is far from specific to R&B and well worth the wait. I’ve had three or four delivery experiences with them and each time the employees were punctual, communicative, and, most importantly, careful with my home and furniture! In summary I can’t recommend them enough. They have found a customer for life in me and I am happy to scream my unsolicited appreciation from the rooftops any time! Edited to add- forgot to mention they are dog friendly (with treats!). If this isn’t the sign of a good business I don’t know what is.

Renee Davis: Don’t get me wrong, I love this furniture store. The customer service is great. Delivery service (workers) is great. It’s the actual product, the furniture quality that deserves 1 star (none if I could) our last purchase was the Reese sectional sofa. The buttons pick you when you sit on it and the cushions are cheap. No Cush whatsoever! It’s like sitting on the floor. The entertainment center has no wire outlets in the back for cord management and it scratches easily. And even though the only rerun policy listed is for mattresses I was told (Ginny) that if it was a couple weeks past they would be able to take it back? Do not be fooled by the pretty picture. It’s not worth the price!

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.

Ms.: I love the items in the store. Very stylish and very unique. 2 full floors of sofas, pillows, dishes, pot holders, baskets, wall decor and more. Easy to stay in store and "look"..sure to find an item for your home or gift for another. Can't really talk about customer service except to say no one acknowledged or ask me did I need help to find an item. I was on my own..succeed

Eric Overton: Staff at this store were basically useless and didn’t seem to know much about the products for sale. Fortunately, I was only there to test a floor model before buying online. Shipping was fast with only two weeks between purchase and delivery. Delivery dudes were both prompt and chill.

Geneva: I was wary of buying from this store based on some of the reviews here; however, after a year of searching for the right sectional, I found the perfect one for me at West Elm. I received good service from the store. The sales person was very clear that my sectional - which I bought in November for a nice discount - would not arrive until early January. As promised, I got calls and emails from the delivery department the second week of January and was able to schedule a date that worked for me. The two delivery guys were amazing - they had to maneuver their big truck down a narrow alley to get to the loading dock. They were professional and efficient and out of my apartment in less than 15 minutes. The sectional is exactly what I wanted and so comfortable.

MIchael Wright: Prices are unnecessarily high, since the doors are left open during warm weather, thus requiring more energy for A/C,, which also incrementally contributes to climate-changing emissions. So, not the shop for customers who either don't like higher prices or want to help the environment.

Angela Garcia: STAY AWAY FROM WEST ELM. It's customer service is the worst, they won't ever deliver your items on time, they won't care and won't do anything about their mistakes with your order....it is just not worth it. I have received the wrong item TWICE (which honestly I don't understand how they can mess up the size of a piece which is clearly stated in their website other than it should have never been offered there in the first place because it doesn't exist). Now I'm stuck with an item which is not the one I ordered, and west elm won't care to pick it up and complete the return. THIS BRAND IS A JOKE.

The store associate we worked with was knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and really helped us choose the best option for our apartment. Our furniture won't arrive for a while, but we'll eagerly await it! The store itself was clean and well-organized.

Jonathan Mullen: Some nice stuff. Seems overpriced for what it is. Similar to Crate and Barrel.Joybird is just down the street and offers higher quality furniture at a better price.

Annapurna Mitra: The worst delivery experience I have encountered. I ordered a dining table and four chairs, with in-home delivery. The chairs were sent via UPS, not assembled, and with no explanation despite paying $250 for in-home delivery. I live alone, and there are 7 pages of assembly instructions requiring two people. I have no way of doing this, and am left with a living room like a furniture warehouse. On the other hand, the dining table, which was ready 10 days ago, and I had asked the customer service to wait and schedule an appointment for all items together is yet to arrive. I cannot find a way to schedule anything on the website, and on the phone I can not find a way to talk to a human being. I have received no response to my email. If I could give zero stars I would.

Sarah Gunel: Customer service was super here! All of the sales associates were helpful, but not pushy. They were also pleasant (happy). After we returned home from our shopping, I realize that I left my daughter's hat there. I called and the woman who answered the phone said she would mail it to me. I was incredibly impressed with their customer service. I would definitely return to this store!

I had a coffee table done and it looks fantastic. They had so many options of paint and antiquing/patina/distressing and what layer of protection you want. VERY PLEASED

April Myers: I've purchased a few pieces of nicely done, repurposed furniture from here and am very happy with all of it! Joni Wauhop: Love this store. It's small but has a lot of great unique finds. One of the only places that sells Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in the area. The furniture is decently priced and I get a lot of inspiration from this store. The stuff is just so cute. Every Saturday they have heir sister shop open a few blocks down with even more more furniture, painted and unpainted. They offer several painting classes as well. Highly recommend.

She was very responsive, which is a must with how quickly homes go in the area, and it felt like we were able to utilize her knowledge of the local market and neighborhoods to find a home that we will be happy in for a very long time. We also really appreciated Kelly's level of awareness to give us space to discuss features of homes we were viewing while also providing her own input and observations, based on her higher level of experience, so that we were able to make an educated decision about each home we saw. Mary T.: Helpful customer service, and wonderful selection. A very enjoyable shopping experience. Would come back! Only negative was one employee, possibly a manager, Lisa. The associate checking us out asked her for help, she came over obviously annoyed with him then ignored us standing directly in front of her. This male associate was kind, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us. It bothered me that she would treat him this way, especially in front of customers. Maybe she was having a day or was exhausted but it was off putting.

Noah Merlin: Here is why you should never buy a piece of furniture that is "In Stock" at Crate & Barrel again: - My wife and I were looking for two swivel chairs in stock, so we could get them relatively soon and not wait the insane lead times that all new furniture has right now. - We went to Crate & Barrel on 12/24/21: Our sales rep at Crate & Barrel told us our two Drew Swivel chairs were both in stock (~$1,900 total for the two). - We decided to purchase the two chairs on the basis they were in stock. We were told they would be delivered in two weeks (two weeks from 12/24 is 1/7/22). - On 1/5 we received an email that they were being delayed and would be delivered in mid January. We called the store because we thought it was odd that items that are in stock in the warehouse could be delivered. When calling in, we were told that the items actually were not in stock. They offered us a $150 gift card once the item was delivered to make up for it. I did not accept, but they weren't willing to do anything else. - Every two weeks our item was delayed longer, and we were sent an email saying the items would be delivered two weeks later. - This morning, on 2/22/22, we received an email, stating the delivery would be in early March. It has been delayed for two months now, when we had a two-week lead time. So I sent an email to customer support, stating that I would like a 50% refund. Instead of reaching out to me, they emailed me to let me know my order has been cancelled and I have been provided a refund. I have now waited since 12/24/21 (two months) since the order. I have no swivel chairs. I have no order. I now need to begin the search for chairs all over again. I called support at the store, they said they couldn't do anything and I needed to contact corporate. I contacted corporate, and Elaine tried to explain to me that it was my fault for not reading the receipt and that it didn't matter what the sales rep said to deceive my wife and myself into buying these chairs which never came. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE. Crate & Barrel has now admitted to me several times that they have an inventory system bug that makes it so they do not know when an item is in stock or not. This could be true, or they might use it as an excuse for predatory business practices, intentionally misleading consumers into making purchases they may not otherwise. If it is true, they do not account for their errors and expect the consumer to pay for it instead. Goodbye Crate & Barrel forever.

Nikolas G: This is a great location with incredibly friendly staff. The design team is always happy to help and the sales team are helpful and available without being pushy or too present. Good selection, very well organized, beautiful layout.

Leo Sheridan: Liz D. came to my rescue when a 3rd party courier service lost a Christmas present! I can't say enough about how professional she was throughout the entire dramatic ordeal. Liz honestly saved Christmas. I've been a customer of Crate for quite some time. I even worked for the company many moons ago. I was astounded by how swiftly Liz handled everything, and she did it during THE MOST busiest time of year!

Jennifer Lee: Very nice community type center for shopping Crate and Barrel is great some nice restaurants and parking if you want to pay for it. It is near American University so you see lots of students around and lots of pedestrians. It's right off Massachusetts avenue so it is bus accessible only as far as public transportation.

Vishal Sinha: This is another good location for Crate and Barrel. The only negative shopping here is the scant parking options. Once you are in the store, the experience is worth the parking issue. The store is laid out well making shopping a good experience. It's hard not to buy more than what we had in mind! The staff is friendly and always ready to help answer any questions. The selection at that store is quite good and we like the products sold here. Or kitchen is stocked with many of the essentials from Crate and Barrel!

Tommy Tang: Very nice and east pickup experience! The stuffs are so nice!

Mohammed Audi: Great quality, just downright horrendous service. We bought all of our furniture across 6 months and it's all really sturdy, high end and elegant. They've done a great job in modern design. If follow-up services mean anything to you, such as eventually replacing sofa cushions, you need to find another place. Any form of follow up requires months of chasing down, pleading and disappointment.

Ardavan Tookaloo: Very modern and beautiful. I like this place a lot. You will never walk out empty handed.

Aysenur Melek: We had an awful experience here. Arlington deserves better. Keep your business to better places. They make people feel as if the stuff in the store is more valuable than them.

Patrick South: I wouldn’t not recommend shopping here. We bought a new home and loved many of the designs at Ballard. We ordered two chairs that were set to take ~3 months to be delivered. After 3 months, we were notified they were delayed a month... then they suddenly shipped...then they were delayed another 2 months...then they were shipped again. I have no idea where these chairs are, despite being charged, and my sales rep at the Ballard store in Tysons has long forgotten about us. I’ve sent 3 emails and can’t get a response as to where my chairs are. VERY poor customer experience for the prices here.

Denise Johnson: My experience at Ballard Designs has been the opposite of the previous reviewers. I was greeted at the door almost immediately- but given some time to make my way around the store and look at everything. I appreciated not being bombarded by the sales team. When I had a question- it was quick and easy to find an associate. There was also an employee at the register- making it a breeze to be rung up. I will definitely be returning here for future purchases. Thanks for excellent service!

Kelsey McShane: Do NOT buy from this company. I purchased a bench from Ballard that was damaged (one of the legs had broken off) and the return process has been an absolute nightmare! One month since it was picked up from my house by UPS and 7 phone calls to the store later and I have STILL not received my money back. Customer service said that they didn't have any proof that it was picked up from my house. THANK GOD I have the Ring and have the video; otherwise they would've taken my money. Even with the video they need to continue investigating. I don't care how great their stuff is- this was totally not worth the purchase and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I have. Buy furniture/decor elsewhere!

A J: I'm a white female and I am also ignored at the Tyson's store. Not sure why their customer service is so terrible as it's a beautiful store, but I was ignored both times I went there even though several associates were working at the time. I really wanted a floor lamp so I had to chase down an associate who seemed bothered to assist me. Once purchased, I waited a long time for the lamp to be brought out to the loading/pick up area where you have to wait in a traffic lane at a side entrance. An unfriendly employee finally wheeled it out. Very inconvenient and swore I'd not return. Customer service all around sucks.

N L: I've bought many items from Ballard and so far, have been pleased with everything. I usually have everything shipped to my home, but this time around I decided to do "ship to store." Going forward, I will go back to ship to home. This time I got a coffee table and thought it would fit in my vehicle. By the specs it would. I forgot to count for the box and how great Ballard boxes their items. No way this would fit in my car! The employees at the Tyson's location, Devonte and Martha (forgive my name misspelling) were the greatest. Both assisted me getting the base of the table and stone top into the car, and with a smile on their face. I've lived in the DC area all my life and have a 30+ year career in customer service. This was great customer service!

Quoc Thieu Tran: I reached out to Tim to see if he and his team could help move the same Boconcept pieces I bought a couple years ago. Tim was able to accommodate and the furniture was disassembled, wrapped, and moved to my new apartment. While assembly manuals are helpful, having someone who already knows how to disassemble/assemble these furniture pieces definitely expedited my move. Would highly recommend!

We also purchased a customized large leather ottoman to go with it. Quite satisfied with the quality- bit on the expensive side but I guess worth it. Michael Nagan: Two big thumbs-up for BoConcept, and Tim. The first thumbs-up is for the furniture itself. We purchased several Mariposa chairs and a Granada table. We have absolutely loved them both! They are probably our favorite pieces of furniture. The table is incredibly easy to expand and contract, so we actually do it all the time. (The mechanism is kind of fun to use, so I actually like doing it, rather than dreading it.) And the chairs are beautiful and comfortable. The second thumbs-up is for their service. We had a problem with one of the chairs almost five years after we purchased it. The warranty had long since ended, but I contacted Tim (who wasn’t even the owner when we purchased the chairs) to ask about it. He concluded that the problem shouldn’t have happened, so he offered to fix the chair for free. That involved replacing a substantial piece of the chair - which couldn’t have been cheap for them. And they did the repair in about 15 minutes at their warehouse while I waited and chatted with the lovely repair people. I guess you can tell that I feel pretty positive about BoConcept, but they’ve earned it!

Rob Streicker: I cannot say enough nice things about BoConcept DC and its owner Tim Machenaud. I purchased an office chair from this shop almost 5 years ago and it held up beautifully until one of the wheels popped off -- it appeared that normal wear and tear had stripped a bolt of its threading. Despite the chair being out of warranty, Tim immediately offered to replace the entire chair at no cost to me. It was available to pick up from the showroom the next day. This is customer service at its finest. I'm now sitting in my new chair writing this review -- a very happy customer.

I've always liked the furniture and other products at Bo Concepts but the Georgetown store is the best (better than the ones in London) I have visited.

Laura Lee: Seriously, the best customer service EVER!. We bought a couch and a rug here and Tim is so expeditious with his replies to anything we needed. There was a little piece of fabric that was sticking out after we got it delivered and he came right away to fix it. The delivery was also the BEST delivery experience I have ever had. SOOOOO OD professional! The inside of the moving vehicle was even cleaner than my house! Definitely NOT a 3rd party delivery service and fake white glove delivery. They wore booties when they came into the house, came within the time frame of said delivery, and gave 20-25 mins notice as promised. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to ANYONE! Superb 5 star service.

Morgan Holden: I went to Creative Classics in a hurry… I am moving to a remote area in Alaska and the movers were coming on Monday. This was Saturday. In getting ready for this big move I had not been able to purchase dining room chairs that we were desperately in need of after years of using donated furniture. I walked in, looked around a little bit, and was then asked if I needed any help. I told the gentleman I was looking for sturdy, Amish made, dining room chairs but I needed them this weekend. He said, maybe Monday: let’s look at our delivery schedule and our inventory to see what we have available. So we did. They did have delivery time on Monday, but my moving company was coming on Monday morning. I kept looking but secretly wasn’t sure Monday would work for me. He introduced himself as Steve, the owner - along with his wife, who was also working in the store that day and helping other clients. Steve brought me over to 2 different styles of dining room chairs and had me sit in them. One was so comfortable for me. I loved it. We went back to the computer to see when we could get these delivered. This is where it goes from good customer service to AMAZING!!! Steve calls his son, who also works in the business, and they arrange for his son to meet me at their warehouse right then. Even though the warehouse is closed on Saturday and it was his son’s day off they knew I was moving and completely went out of their way to help me. I paid and met his son at the warehouse 30 minutes later. He had pulled out all the chairs from their boxes, urged me to inspect each one, and then repacked them so I could have them moved to Alaska. I was headed to Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel next. Creative Classics prices were comparable and they are a small, family owned business, selling Amish made - not factory made - furniture. I am soooo happy with this purchase. I’m moving but I hope this review will bring other people to the store. Creative Classics will be my first choice when we come back to the area. Rachel Landry: We had a great experience ordering our couch from Creative Classics. The sales associates were very helpful, but not pushy. There was a long lead time on the couch from the manufacturer but when it finally arrived, it was worth the wait. The delivery crew was professional and friendly. I signed off on the couch and realized shortly after that there was a fabric snag on the arm and an imperfection on the leg. When I contacted Creative Classics, they responded immediately and contacted the manufacturer to look into options. The manufacturer wanted to repair the upholstery and leg, which would have required us to surrender the couch. CC offered a couch to borrow during this time, which they would deliver. After more discussion, we really did not feel like going through such a process, during pre-vaccination Covid, for such small imperfections. I suggested a small monetary compensation to account for the damage and CC issued us a check, for what we felt was fair. The customer service is top notch and would never be found at larger, big name stores. They came through even when the issue was with the manufacturer, not their company. We will absolutely return to Creative Classics when we need quality furniture in the future.

Robert J.V. Sumner: I have been visiting Creative Classics since I moved to this area and well-before I was able to afford to shop there. During my visits, I met and have gotten to know Ann and the owners, Rachel and Scott. When stopping in, if only to browse, the staff has always taken time to tell me about the products they sell, how they are made, what is new, and the array of options that are offered to make each piece truly custom. Many of the products sold at Creative Classics are also made in the United States, by hand, and are scaled for smaller condominium spaces, which has been a refreshing contrast to many of the large, overstuffed or oversized pieces that are widely available. In recent years, I have been able to afford to buy some items from Creative Classics. The service is second to none, the items delivered on time with care, and are lasting longer than other products I have bought at mass retailers. I regularly receive compliments from guests about my furniture and how it brings my home together. To address some of the comments about the cost…well, you get what you pay for at any store and Creative Classics is no different. I have paid less for furniture from larger retailers where finishes have dulled, or components have failed within a short amount of time. My pieces from Creative Classics look just as good as they did when they were delivered. Of note, a dining set I purchased from Creative Classics was signed by the workers who built it in Illinois; a sofa I purchased from a manufacturer in North Carolina came with a card signed by each person who had a role in the construction of the piece ranging from the seamster, to the fabric cutter, to the upholsterer. This attention to detail and quality is not inexpensive but it lasts and the pieces are truly personalized. I cannot say enough about how welcoming Ann, Rachel, and Scott have been to me over the years and it is always a pleasure to stop in and browse. If you are seeking quality, American made furniture that can be tailored to your space and tastes, with personalized service, I recommend Creative Classics without hesitation.

Jessica Teel: I really had an outstanding experience with Creative Classics Furniture. Everyone was outstanding from working with Melissa to selecting my item to Ann on providing regularly the status of my order (Due to COVID-19 delays) and Dan making sure everything was on route and timely. I am very happy with the final product. This is my second time ordering from Creative Classics. I worked with Creative Classics over 10 years ago when I ordered our first bed when we first purchased our home. Creative Classics still has wonderful customer service even during the current environment with COVID-19 and the demand for furniture and home products being high. Tanya: I was adamant that I wanted to support local crafters and was referred to Creative Classics by a friend when in search of a new dining room table. I found the one I wanted through Copeland, and ordered it via email with Creative Classics. In my email (and pandemic haze) I failed to specifically mention a glass top table. When the table showed up it was of course solid wood. I signed off on the order sheet etc so really the blame is on me. Creative classics was so kind to not only order me the correct table, but to allow me to use the one that was incorrect until it would arrive. They refunded the price difference, and also my delivery fee! Simply amazing for something that was really *MY* fault. I absolutely will be ordering from them again. Thinking maybe a new bedroom set next. Bottom line, don't hesitate to support this small business who in turns supports other small businesses with products that are made in the USA.

Margo Ramage: i cannot say enough good things about Creative Classics in Alexandria, VA. I live in a modestly-sized condo and I found Creative Classics had by far the best options for appropriately sized furniture. I ordered a sectional and I got what I wanted in dimensions, firmness, fabric and arm style - not what I was willing to settle for. Ann was beyond patient and gave me great advice. I also bought metal-framed nesting tables and was able to select from a variety of metal finishes to blend with other metal finishes in the living/dining area. The delivery service was professional with an emphasis on safety during the pandemic. Try them, you'll like them.

FlimFlam Man: I highly recommend this store if you are looking for high quality, American-made furniture. My wife and I live in a small, two bedroom condo. We purchased all of our living room furniture from them and had it delivered around 2 months ago, and just finished placing another order for a dining room table, chairs and a buffet. We love this store so much that after the dining room furniture arrives, we will be ordering new bedroom furniture from them also. The staff and owners of the store are very nice, helpful and professional. The delivery guys were friendly and very good at their jobs - all of the furniture arrived without a scratch and in perfect condition. All of their furniture is custom-made with hundreds of options in regards to fabric choices, materials, colors and patterns. When we sat down to look at some of the fabrics for the couch, Rachel, one of the owners, must have noticed a look of desperation on our faces as we tried to figure out what we wanted. She told us they had designers who could come out to our home to help wade through all of the choices, so we decided to give it a try. That was probably the best decision we made. Our designer was Elisa - she came to our home and spent nearly two hours with us to figure out what we were looking for. A week or so later, she gave us multiple design plans for the living room, dining room and bedroom, and also gave us recommendations on new carpet colors and patterns. To finalize the color and fabric choices, Elisa even met us at the store on a Sunday morning (usually her day off) a few hours before the store opened. Our living room looks beautiful and is very comfortable. Everyone that comes to visit comments on the great looking furniture and loves the way our condo looks. I am so glad we took advantage of their design service, and even happier that Elisa is so good at what she does.

Natalie Mosher: I can't say enough good things about Creative Classics Furniture. We worked with designer, Elisa, who nailed the scale of furnishings we should purchase for our condo. It was worth the wait of 10 weeks. All the furniture is made in the U.S. As an aside the owner , Scott who we had the pleasure of meeting one Sunday afternoon in the store, offered a chair from the warehouse while waiting for our furniture to arrive...of course we took him up on the offer! Great staff, local family owned and operated. A real treasure in Alexandria VA.

Joost Santos: Yes, the furniture here are expensive, but as someone (like me) who does research first, the prices in this store are lower compared to online stores. The quality is superb! You can easily tell a cheap furniture from other places to the high-quality ones you would find in this store. Customer service is excellent. I like the fact that the staff don't follow you around persistently -- they would just let you take your time. If you ask questions, they would give you the best answer without even overly-pressuring you to buy (unlike other commission-based stores). I bought a Copeland bed in this store last year and it has even gotten better after a year (the wood stain matures beautifully over time). Nonetheless, there's a downside to visiting the store in person -- you would literally salivate at the sight of the fine furniture on display. Oh I almost forgot to mention the muscular delivery guy (can't remember his name). When I first saw him I thought to myself -- if this guy wrestles with me, I would get defeated in less than a second so I will minimally interact with him. But I found out that he's super nice and I also learned that he is the son of the owner. Let us support this local family business. Indeed, they are truly deserving of a 5-star rating.

Jennifer Zydney: My best customer experiences come about when someone I do business with makes a problem go away. That was the case with Warehouse Showrooms. Knowing lead times are stretched, we ordered some outdoor furniture well ahead of when we’d need it. When we approached the date that we thought we’d take delivery, we learned there had been some miscommunication about how/when the delivery would occur. Warehouse Showrooms really bent over backwards to address the situation and make it work for us. Super helpful and responsive customer service. Furniture delivery guys were great too, very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to enjoy our Polywood rockers!

Sara Barth: Warehouse Showrooms is great! We purchased a bedroom set and couldn’t be happier. Excellent quality solid wood furniture at reasonable prices. The staff at Warehouse Showrooms are so easy to work with and gave us realistic expectations about delivery timelines. Barry Rosman: We bought 5 matching walnut chairs to go with our new Live Edge table. The chairs legs were too wide to fit 2 chairs side by side. After some discussion, the came up with an innovative solution to move the table legs at no charge. They saved the day and fixed it within 24 hours. That is service. They are very helpful, creative and very easy to do business with.

Alek Cannan: High quality, hand made, solid wood furniture at fair prices. This showroom is excellent and the staff are really knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We visited the showroom looking for a dining set and a sleeper sofa. We were really impressed with the range of options available and the high quality workmanship. And most items are very customizable to adjust sizes and wood types and finishes to match just what you are looking for. We are really impressed and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for long lasting furniture.

Carrie: I bought a sectional for my "small space." I worked with Laura at the Clarendon store in Arlington, VA. She fit me into her schedule promptly so that I could qualify for the sale price before the deadline, and came to my home the same day I visited the store to get measurements and evaluate fabric samples. Samantha Katz: I have worked with Antoinette since 2018. I have bought several pieces for a variety of rooms in my house. I have a particular eclectic style and a fairly strong opinion of what I like and she works with me. She never pressures me to buy. She will give you the same great service if you are only buying one piece or if you are redoing a complete room/house. She is a great designer and while I have not used her for design, I would highly recommend her.

Amina Bennett Nevels: Every piece we ordered (and we ordered 4 rooms of furniture) came nicked/chipped. After waiting a year for our items we were sorely disappointed, especially at this price point. Customer service was spotty and did very little rectify these issues. I didn't buy furniture from this establishment only to have it require repair upon arrival. Last time I order from this place.

Vanessa Villagarcia: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! In April 2021 my husband and I were searching for furniture for our new home. I purchased a few pieces of furniture at Pottery Barn before without any regrets but we wanted to go in a different direction this time. We went to Ethan Allen because we thought it was high end and good quality furniture. We ordered furniture for our Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen and our new Bedroom. We also placed an order for Window treatments for the entire house (About 30/35 Windows). We placed the furniture in April 2021 and we were told and assured that the furniture was going to be delivered and installed in August 2021 the latest. It is Mid-November and we are still waiting for our furniture to arrive. We were so very disappointed that we wanted to cancel our furniture order but our request was denied. A couple of weeks ago we received a sofa and a dining table. The sofa arrived with a big and noticeable stain on one of the cushions and some dents on the wood. First, We contacted Ethan Allen several times since August to follow-up and get updates about our furniture and the sales representative was not too helpful and always gave vague answers. There was and still there is not a straight answer regarding delivery dates and now about the sofa cushion replacement. All I heard is Ethan Allen processes and a lot of excuses to fulfill our furniture order and get the furniture replaced. The last time I spoke with the sales rep. she literally said: "I am hoping you are enjoying your beautiful furniture" I am not sure how she dared to say so knowing that I/we can not have our house set up yet. I am SO VERY DISAPPOINTED and deeply regret the day we decided to stop at Ethan Allen instead of going back to Pottery Barn since I knew how serious they take customer's business.I wish I could go back in time or have the opportunity to return what we just received and cancel the remaining pieces of furniture order, I will DEFINITELY do that. I thought Ethan Allen was a serious and respectful furniture store with good quality pieces of furniture but now I know they are not. Sadly I can say, I was wrong.If you take CUSTOMERS seriously and a piece of advice from a very frustrated customer, you should train your people to be more honest, straightforward and respectful with your customers and their needs. This is not a joke, we are spending money on your business, nothing has been given for free. We had to cancel two or three events in our new home because we had and still have an empty house.

Zayda Morales: Customer service almost non existent. We ordered furniture months ago. We had a time of delivery. It didn’t happened. We were not really surprised since everything is taking a long time to be delivered. My disappointment is with the lack of communication on the status of the order. I called on a Saturday. Today is Thursday and I have not received a call. An email was sent Sunday and still no response. It doesn’t take much to make a call or respond to an email. Out order is 2 months over due.

C. Kane: The designer was awesome and the furniture well made and on trend. I purchased a full condo worth of furniture. It’s been just under 4 years and it’s all held up extremely well. My only complaint today is that the fabric protection I purchased is outsourced to a third party (Guardsman) and they are extremely difficult to deal with and their Better Business Bureau rating is a “stellar” 1.9. Remains to be seen if they will actually honor the claim but I have little confidence given the reviews and my experience to date, even though I’ve followed all of the rules. It was very expensive to purchase (through EA) and Ethan Allen should be better at selecting the vendors it affiliates with. The fabric protection induced me to select a lot of whites, I’m not sure I’d make the same choice today given my experience w Guardsman. My recommendation based on my experience is to think very carefully before buying anything affiliated w Guardsman.

Maureen Zafros: I had a fantastic experience working with Sidney! She's a very talented and creative designer who made refinishing my living room stress-free and fun. I love the furniture and rug I purchased and appreciate the calm, peaceful atmosphere she created. Sidney visited my home several times and developed a personalized plan for me to work from. Her exceptional artistic sense and her knowledge of design principles were evident as she patiently spent many hours working with me. Sidney suggested furniture styles and organized fabrics and rug samples so that the process of making final decisions was straightforward and within my budget. I've referred her to my friends who were very pleased with her guidance and expertise in assisting them. I highly recommend Sidney!

Gabriel Sarmiento: Pretty much just a design studio, no real merchandise to view. If you already know what you want and just want to see fabric, material, or hardware samples then this place will work. Otherwise just go to the DC location that has actual furniture. Disappointment really. They should advertise this as a design studio and not a furniture store.

Sarah Griffin: This is more of a sample store. If you want the full store with all merchandise, you need to go to the DC location.

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.

Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Christopher Hensley: Give me something to complain about and I WILL!!! No complaints here. I recently purchased a desk from this location. Emlyn was very helpful. She warned me that it may be up to 6 weeks for delivery, but it arrived in 2 1/2 weeks. Delivery people were nice & on time. End to end stress free process. And the desk is BEAUTIFUL, I love it. M: UPDATED 6/2017: The manager Christine has taken extra steps to rectify the issues, including replacing both recliners. The new recliners worked perfectly upon arrival, and had better padding than our original recliners. I am not sure if this was because she indicated that they would perform extra quality control, or if the two we originally ordered were so shoddy. The new recliners are great, and what we had expected when we tested them in the store. We are going to work with the manager directly to see if we can finish ordering our set of dining room chairs, and if they do that well, I would recommend working directly with the manager. ====== We are repeat customers, and it saddens me that this store has gone downhill. Our furniture arrived defective four months ago. The store doesn't seem to care. We notified the store, and they said they would schedule a technician to arrive. I called to confirm the visit because I received no confirmation call on the date scheduled and was waiting for a time window the day before the technician was scheduled to arrive. Turns out they accidentally canceled the technician visit and I had scheduled to take the day off from work. That was a terrible situation, and no one called to apologize. I called the headquarters customer service and they said they accidentally messed up, and that I should call the technician directly, so I did, and they sorted it out with Bassett. Then, the technician arrived and told me that the furniture should make a popping sound, that wasn't a defect. Luckily we had two of the same chair, so I was able to prove to the technician he was wrong. He said he wouldn't want to fix the issue because he may ruin the fabric. He does nothing, and concedes that the recliners do have issues because I was able to prove it because we have two of the same exact recliners. Please note that the technician does nothing when he arrives, it is to simply inspect the problem. The manager calls after I ping the store, and she apologizes for being away and not getting back to us. They of course they decide to "fix the parts" instead of replacement, and said if it doesn't work, they'd replace the defective recliner. Also, one of our recliners doesn't recline properly. They told us they are waiting for parts, and that gave me some hope that they would redeem themselves. However, since mid March, we haven't heard anything -- it has been an issue since January 20th, and it is now mid April. They do not respond or keep track of the issue, so I would recommend avoiding this store at all costs. If anyone from corporate is reading this, please know that we are not being treated well by your company or store. We also bought custom dining room chairs, which arrived with a weird chemical odor, which dissipated after a few weeks. It is now the end of April, and the manager has reached out since the online review to apologize, and offer to resolve the issues, but nothing has happened. Since my last conversation with the store, 9 days have passed with no contact. We still have two defective recliners since January.

John Loring: The sales process was fine and I liked their merchandise, so I placed a $9,000 order and paid in full. Since then Bassett has failed to keep two appointments for delivery. Each time I called and was told that delivery was never scheduled. When I asked for a refund, I was told that only the store manager can authorize a refund and that he is not available. I tried calling their corporate office and was told that I can only deal with the store. If you care at all about post-sales customer service or delivery schedules, stay away from Bassett.

Tandra Jones: I just bought my beautiful living room furniture at Bassett. Along with my personal designer Donna was so helpful in helping me select the right sofa, recliner chairs and matching rugs that all came together perfectly. I cannot wait for delivery. I would definitely use Bassett again and will recommend to friends and family.

Dillon Franks: Bought a wood table and a couch from this location. The table is low quality and the finish scratches off easily, even with a fingernail. The couch however has been great.

Leigh Hennessey: Every time I go in everyone is courteous and friendly. They spend as much time as I want wandering around the store with me; answering questions - even if I am not buying that day. Bassett is definitely one of my "go-to" furniture stores!

This is our fave’s, the IKEA food court! The warehouse was huge, you can also come to practice walking or exercise during extreme weather. They have variety of food selection, all come with healthy calories calculation. Our favorites always Swedish meatballs, fried chicken and the desserts. Have you tried their veggies balls? It’s taste almost the same as the meatballs, but more delicious! Don’t miss out on the side dish, it’s a perfect combination with veggies balls and the sauce. We’re all facing the same issues here at this moment, some if not all items are out of stock! You have to be prepared if you’re running a project, either come as grab as the stocks are ready or visit the store multiple times.

Samone Jones: Old faithful IKEA. Great new furniture. I came to look at the faucets and grab a quick lunch. As always you can get some great design ideas and gadgets for the home. My favorite are the duvets - they can always give a fresh look to a room. The food is pleasant. I got the Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes, and fries.

Giovani Guarnieri: Furniture and all you may need for your house and office you can find here. Prices are good. But you have to carry out by yourself and put it together in your house to... I like to do like that but if you don't like it will be a problem. Will be back soon

Mahjabeen Mitu: In general Ikea products are always price worthy and presentable, so you won’t struggle much to fit with your budget and planning. They have huge collection but their catalogue based marketplace will help you to get your desired one quickly. I’ve been using their products since 2013 and it never makes me disappointed. If you love to decorate your home and garden, really a great place to get a complete package of ideas! On a separate note, they have a Swedish food market of vivid collections, so you can enjoy chocolates, cookies, coffee and etc. of swedish flavor right there. Also, I would highly recommend to visit their food courts, foods are awesome! If you have an Ikea family membership, you will get discounts on foods and all kinds of beverages are free for you ☕️🍹🍸. Interestingly, they do birthday wishes to the members each year offering worth of $10 coupon and a frozen yogurt of any flavor🍦 🍦

Candie W: If you want to build it....IKEA and a little patience is all you need. I have a bit of both ;--) I frequent this Ikea because I want to achieve my own personal "carrie bradshaw" type of closet (the ladies will understand).....I also want a PAX spa cabinet. So, although I could give them 3 stars - I know they are 4 star worthy.... Here lately though, I am becoming very frustrated. Lots of things are temporarily unavailable or discontinued without notice. Makes it extremely hard when you have a large project to achieve. ALSO! This weekend they advertised their annual Julboard and I was exited for the festivities....BUT, as with everything else - IKEA missed their usual mark. I believe it is due to the pandemic but I am disappointed. I don't want IKEA to be in comparison to Walmart, Costco, or Sam's...I hold them in a higher regard....but, empty shelves - displaying things on the showroom not available - Costco type sampling....this is not you IKEA!!!! I know because I am here all the time..... BRING IKEA back!!!!!!

Lately, I see a lot of improvements in the home appliance and kitchen section kudos. I am like a kid in a candy store coming here. Charley: Overall rating of 4.7, went shopping in search of a specific type of bed frame. Was disappointed when I was informed they did not have that model in stock and opted to instead settle for the "Malm" variant. Buying the bed was super easy, when I confronted an employee he told me exactly what I needed to purchase. The bed came in 4 different items and the overall assembly of it was not too bad. However, take this with a grain of salt because I am a master builder and the process was mildly engaging.

Stephanie Jackson: IKEA literally has everything. I needed a table to match another piece of furniture I purchased from IKEA to place my record player on. Of course they had the perfect piece. It took 5 minutes to put together. Super cute and super easy.

Abi Maghamfar: Ikea is a great place for do it yourselvers and those who don't mind assembling their own furniture. The prices are good and the return policy is generous at 365 days! However on a recent visit to the College Park, MD store it was obvious they are having a hard time keeping their shelves stocked. Almost 1/3 of shelves were bare or limited stock. We had to change plan for a bed because they did not have the mattress we wanted and the support slats for the bed. It would be helpful if they mark out of stock items in the showroom so you don't have to go to the warehouse to find out they're out and then you have to start all over! On a positive note, I commend Ikea for their commitment to environment by installing solar panels all over their parking lot.

She explained Ethan Allen has a free design service which could assist us in planning our family room. We set up an appointment with Julie to come to our home and take exact measurements of the room. This allowed Julie get to know us better and what we like. We set up another appointment to meet Julie at the store for her design suggestions/plan. We were so thrilled with the experience. Julie had a floor plan of our room to scale on the large monitor. Julie had a display table prepared with lamps, fabric choices, wood tone furniture suggestions, paint colors, rug suggestions...etc. Julie was extremely pleasant to work with. Sarah Lydick: Ayla did an amazing job helping us design an entire home. She pulled together looks that flowed and complimented one another. She had all the designs and fabrics ready to go. She took all of our input into consideration, but was also able to clearly show me using 3D mapping why some other designs would be better for our home. She worked within our budget and took a lot of extra care and time. Ayla even helped pick our paint colors! We will absolutely be using her again.

Hannah Letterman: I rarely write an online review, but my recent experience with Ethan Allen has been very disappointing and I want to give you a warning before making a purchase here. The only thing that I want to give 5-star rating is to the delivery guys. They were very professional and did their job in the most effective and efficient way. However, for all the other touch-points, I would give 0 stars if possible. Our story is long.... 1. Waiting time and Procrastination: We purchased a king size bed and mattress from EA on Aug 30. Because our house has a narrow walk way, the designer told us we should get the delivery team to measure our house to see if they would be able to take them up in our bedroom. In a document that we got from her on Aug 30, it shows the estimated ship date would be Nov 22. She confirmed with us that this would get updated to a date in early Oct once the delivery team confirmed it would fit. We made a decision to buy based on that information. Because we did NOT have a bed to sleep on, we couldn’t wait until Nov. During Sep-Nov, we called them 3-4 times. Every time we called, they kept pushing the estimated date of delivery back 2-3 weeks from the date they previously promised. Our ship date was changed from early Oct to the end of Oct, from the end of Oct to early Nov, etc. At one point, they said that the mattress was at the warehouse ready to ship, we had to just wait for a bed. While later, they said the bed was there, we just had to wait for a mattress. The worst scheduling issue when our designer said it would be delivered around Nov 23-24, which was the week of Thanksgiving. Since we wanted to get our bed desperately, we canceled our Thanksgiving trip out of the state, only to find out later that they didn’t have anything to ship to us. We got our bed/mattress on Dec 9. In total, we had to wait for our bed and mattress for 14.5 weeks! 2. Customer Service: The designer was not very helpful. Every time we called, we felt like we were begging her to help us, or we did something wrong because it seemed like she was frustrated with US! Is this really the way your brand choose to treat customers, or was our order so small that it wasn’t valuable to you? 3. Product Quality: Our bed arrived with white lines (wood glue?) visible in many areas. See pictures. We gently wiped it, but nothing came off. We would not complain if this was a $500 bed. But this is Ethan Allen with a price tag of $2400. These white lines are visible even if you stand 6 feet away from the bed!! This issue also made us realized that we weren’t provided any information/ document about the product warranty. 4. Mixed-up order/ delivery: During the Thanksgiving week, we got 2 table lamps that we didn’t order. They were left on the front porch without any notice. When we discovered them we called the store immediately and were told that we should store these 4 big boxes in our house until their staff comes to deliver us our bed and mattress. At that time, we didn’t know how long that would be. Also, what about the customer who ordered those lamps? In conclusion, we bought our first house together and were hoping to furnish it with high-quality products. You were our first choice. However, based on this experience, it will be our last time buying anything from Ethan Allen.

Loni Cohen: My husband and I went to Pottery Barn this morning with our toddler in tow. We had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted in a living room set and the budget we wanted to stick to. This was the 7th furniture store we visited and finally found just what we were looking for. PROS: This location has two floors with a good number of sofa sets available to test drive and numerous options for fabric. We loved having the ability to customize the furniture to make it exactly what we were looking for at a price we could feel good about (different fabrics have different price tags). We were assisted by Kassie, who was very personable, professional, and extremely helpful. She made the experience of customizing the living room set easy, enjoyable, and kept us in our budget! We will definitely work with her for all of our future purchases. CONS: Yes, this gorgeous furniture comes with a price tag (you get what you pay for, right?), BUT we were very lucky to purchase during a 25% off promotion, which made the price very affordable so look for the sales/ sign up for their emails. Also, I could certainly see what some customers have complained about regarding staff. Some of the staff seemed a little snooty and would walk right past us without a greeting or offering assistance. Again, Kassie was not like that at all, so just look for an associate who seems happy to help. Finally, Pottery Barn Kids is completely separate and unable to combine orders with PB so you will pay twice for shipping if you order from both. OVERALL, we will definitely shop here again and would recommend PB Bathesda to our friends.

Chris Leo: We've had a TERRIBLE experience shopping at Pottery Barn, both in store and online. We went to the store in Bethesda, were helped by someone named Caterina. Initially, she helped us with curtain rods and we purchased 2 curtains, 2 curtain rods and 2 sets of finials. One of each had to be sent to us from another store because they weren't in stock at Bethesda. Caterina assured us everything would match, despite coming from different places. When we received the curtain rods and finials from the other store, THEY DIDN'T MATCH. The curtain rods had OLD brackets that didn't match what we received from the store, which had NEW brackets. The finials also had a different finish. We had to go BACK to the store a second time to return those items. While we were there, Caterina gave us a hard time about returning the items and I had to say that I was extremely frustrated because she helped us and told us everything would match. So, she accepted the return and someone in the store placed an order for us online for a new curtain rod and finial. After almost a MONTH waiting for it to arrive, I finally received it and mounted both curtain rods only to find out that the one that was just shipped to us is DEFECTIVE! The set screws are jammed and do not loosen or tighten onto the curtain rod! I called customer service and they told me the curtain rods are now DISCONTINUED and the best they can do is allow me to return them. Now, I have to TAKE DOWN the curtain rods, PATCH THE HOLES and ship back one set with a return label, and then I have to GO TO THE STORE FOR A THIRD TIME to return the other curtain rod. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I have spent almost two months just trying to get two curtain rods and have WASTED SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY.

Gloria Corbin: If I could give Pottery Barn no stars, I would. This company is a complete JOKE! My employer purchased an item as a thank you for one of our providers in January, It is now August and we have not received anything. When we have called, they inform us that the item is waiting to be delivered but when you talk to their delivery company, they don't have the item to deliver. When I called customer service and asked for a manager, they put me on hold. They'd return every 7-10 min saying "Waiting for a manager to pick up the call". It took an hr to get a manager. Absolute worst customer service EVER! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

Vishal Sinha: This is our go to Pottery Barn store. The store is laid out well tho a bit too busy to move around freely. But space is a at premium in Bethesda :) The store is sometimes not adequately staffed - specially afternoons on weekdays. And getting help right away can be a challenge. But the staff is friendly and always willing to help. On our most recent visit, we needed help buying a bed headboard and frame we the folks here helped us out making a selection. We wanted to checkout the swatches for the beds and the salesperson was very patient and answered all our questions! We like the quality of their products and appreciate the customer service :)

The Carpenter's Hope Info: Moustapha, who works at Pottery Barn Bethesda, MD, is AWESOME. I live in North Little Rock, AR. I have been searching for a particular item that Pottery Barn sells. An online Pottery Barn representative told me the item I need is in the Bethesda PB. Yay!!! I called yesterday and Moustapha was very helpful. He took my request and promised to call me back with status. He did call and said he could not find the items but that he would check with someone else and call me back today. True to his word, Moustapha called and said he found them. He and I just hung up. He said to check my email for shipping confirmation and the items should arrive Monday!!!! Yay!!!! I'm so grateful! Tassey Russo: I was starting the process of a total redo of a family room. Went to Bassett thinking that the furniture would not be contemporary enough so just wanted to check it off my list. Pleasantly, there was a good mix of traditional and contemporary and I found several couches and chairs that would work in our room. We had tremendous help from one of the sales women. She was patient, worked to understand my requirements and did an excellent job explaining the options. Good to know: frequent sales, about 800 fabric choices and free in-home design consultation.

Diamond Durant: Quality custom furniture with great salespeople. There are so many options to choose from and the themes vary.

Hoa tieu: Please do not buy any furniture insurance from Guardsman. They are a scam company and best of luck if you are trying to get a hold of, read the reviews in Business Bureau. I will not buy any more furnitures from Bassett again unless they stop supporting and promoting a scam company (Guardsman). Save your money!!!

DIGITAL AWARENESS: I loved the wide selection of furniture and most importantly, the opportunity to change fabrics to customize your goods. The clearance area was a bargain unlike Sheffield who had no clearance furniture at all. Bassett holds its own and is top notch. The salesperson, Jerry was kind and very helpful too. In fact he called me when Bassett had a sale but I was unable to get back but it's associates like this that keep customers coming back.

I get they want to make a sale, but we would actually catch her peering around a corner watching us. It's never a relaxing experience coming here.

Warren Poland: Elderly, we walked into the showroom with much experience in furniture shopping and decorating across the decades behind us, unexpectedly needing to replace a destroyed home. Met at the door by an Ethan Allen decorator, Stephanie Vordick, we found her to be uncommonly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If she is representative of the Ethan Allen decorators, it is a rare level of assistance they can provide. The delivery of our furniture was, inevitably, delayed by the Covid hold-up, yet it not only arrived sooner than we had anticipated, but the decorator kept us informed all the while. The furniture itself was of high quality, and with the decorator's assistance in selecting fabrics, we were even more pleased than we had anticipated. There were NO problems with either the white glove delivery of our satisfaction. In truth, we were surprised to have such satisfaction from a large commercial outfit. Five stars.

Shakil A Kidwai: I have an excellent experience in dealing with Dennis Pollard of Rockville, MD store. I ordered a sleeper sofa scheduled to be delivered in November, but due to an emergency we needed it immediately, he went out of way to accommodate our needs and provided us a loaner sleeper sofa within few days. We are very impressed by the customer service, we are also very impressed by the designer Jeff Clarke, he is an outstanding designer and is good listener to understand the customer requirements and views in planning the layout.

Jennifer Faerberg: My experience with Chris Nguyen. Chris is a true gem! He is an incredibly talented designer and a wonderful person. He is laid back, listens to you, doesn't push and makes the design experience as stress free as it can be. Chris helped me not only pick out a new couch, ottoman and pillows that met all of my family's requirements but he helped me create the whole room. He listened to what I liked, what I was looking for, what my family wanted and picked out fabrics that were perfect. They weren't ones I would have picked myself but in the end they were exactly what I wanted. He made the picking easy providing me just three choices and then we could make revisions from there. I wasn't overwhelmed and I'm thrilled with the combinations. And once we picked fabric he also helped me pick my paint color another task I dread. He gave me two choices and I loved one of them...done! When it came time to pick carpet I brought the samples to him, I didn't want to make a decision without his input because I totally trust his opinion. I highly recommend Chris and will definitely use him again in the future.

Adith Subramanian: Bought a new house and wanted to get some quality furniture. The actual looks/quality/design was as good as you would expect. But the reason we ended up going with EA over the other furniture stores we went to was the customer service. We worked with Ellen Price and would highly recommend her to anyone, being the big reason we bought from here. She took our floor plan, existing furniture, and talked through our lifestyle choice to design a beautiful, functional, and affordable layout. We picked up a couple pieces and will be back to continue working with Ellen and filling out our home over time.

Ardavan Tookaloo: Ethan Allen in general, their furniture is beautiful with Good quality. With pandemic their delivery time is way behind compare to other brands like RH or Arhaus. Also if you are trying to get to IDA program it is so complicated and needs a lot of back and forth compare to rest of furniture stores such as Arhaus, Crate&barrel, CB2 and more. Also remember to ask for their free design consultation before purchasing to make sure it fits your room. So far I only have received one out of 5-6 items that I’m happy with but everything else has been pushed back a few times and I still haven’t been approved in their IDA program as a designer with 7 years of experience working in industry. I hope they catch up with their orders and change their IDA process.

Juan Carlos Navarro: We had an outstanding experience updating our living room furniture at Ethan Allen, using a mix of online review of the options and a visit to the showroom at the Rockville Pike, MD. A big part of how excellent our experience was has to be credited to the support and advice of Christopher Nguyen, a designer in residence at that store. He answer all our questions explicitly, suggested valuable design tips, personally showed us the different models and fabrics we were interested in and produced a very useful simulation of how our living room would look like. He introduced some additions and variations on our original selections that led us to revisit some decision for the better. All this in no time and with more kindness than we have experienced in a long time in any store. We are grateful and highly recommend Chris as a designer.

Dilshad Dhillon: We have been working with Rose since June 2019. We purchased a new home and wanted to make sure our home represented my husband’s and my style while still appropriate for a family of 4 with two young boys. We really wanted style with good quality fabrics that can hold up for a family. We have purchased furniture and accessories in the past with Ethan Allen but our experience with Rose this time around was extremely different. On the first visit Rose took the time to understand what we were looking for. On the second visit, she showed us our 3D room layout and fabrics. And I must say my husband and I loved the layout and the fabrics immediately. We did not waste time discussing different layouts. We knew that we didn’t need to look at more fabrics. We went with Rose’s design and are so happy with our decision. Unlike other designers, Rose gives you honest feedback and will take the time to explain why she designed the room in a particular way and why she chose those exact fabrics for you. Rose has designed our family room and we are now working on our dining room with her. Our living room will be next and with Rose of course! We cannot imagine working with anyone else besides Rose.

I've been provided excellent advise how to blend colors and patterns in order for them to flow from room to room. It's been an eye opener in the quest for a model home. Highly recommend you check them out!

Angie Rhinehart: We came upon this store when we were out looking for new bedroom furniture. While we didn’t find that, we did find so much more! Don’t let the outside deter you, a treasure trove awaits you inside. They carry such unique and reasonably priced pieces. Plan to spend a good bit of time because there is so much to see that it takes several times around the warehouse to take it all in. The best part of this place is the customer service. Furniture shopping can feel like being fed to the wolves, but not here with Nico. He was present to offer help but not in your face and he was incredibly friendly. We found so many things we want for our home but picked up a few to start and are going back for more soon. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Robert Kagan: This is a truly wonderful business. I have purchased two beautiful items from them: a live edge desk and a round reclaimed teak kitchen table. They both give me happiness every day. The workmanship is outstanding. More than anything, I appreciate the wonderful friendly service. We needed the kitchen table in a hurry. They got it done. I needed to drive it down to the Outer Banks. They wrapped it up and tied it down securely on my car, even though they didn't have to. Incredibly thoughtful. what a fabulous store. Thank you!

Chandra Khoe: This store is a National Treasure. The wood product is so great and awesome. We never see many stores like this in the United States. The quality of wood products, the products variation, the customer services are wonderful. Surely, we will buy more furniture again from this store.

Kenneth Kilgour: This is one of the friendliest places in town to shop -- especially for a big box store. Most places, I'm content to order online. But this Container Store is nearby, the staff is helpful and engaged, and I find my shopping experience unfailingly pleasant.

D L: Sebastian who works in the shelving solutions area is incredible. We are taking some of our pieces from our friend's place and adding them to ours and he did everything extremely quickly. Smart, efficient, and a nice dude too. Work with him if you can!

I DONT HAVE ANYONE TO HELP YOU ON THE FLOOR AT THIS TIME... I counted 3 associates in the store just walking down the aisles... I’m concerned that Guest experience needs to be addressed in This store.. what a shame

Anoa Ndiaye: About a month ago I went to the DC store to consult regarding a custom walk in closet. Decided to purchase through the Arlington store. Let me be positive. Employees at the Arlington store were professional, cared about my health during Covid, courteous, respectful, highly skilled in designing, helpful, positive, etc. All these things the DC store was Not. I'm so pleased with my closet, from the Arlington store. In December I will customize my reach in closet. I will again use the Arlington store. Even if it is somewhat out of your way, if you are purchasing a big ticket item. Go to the Arlington store.
