preservefootprints: The right place for everything , is a one stop service from furniture checkout, ideas for designing your future whatever rooms, and to Swedish food! This is our fave’s, the IKEA food court! The warehouse was huge, you can also come to practice walking or exercise during extreme weather. They have variety of food selection, all come with healthy calories calculation. Our favorites always Swedish meatballs, fried chicken and the desserts. Have you tried their veggies balls? It’s taste almost the same as the meatballs, but more delicious! Don’t miss out on the side dish, it’s a perfect combination with veggies balls and the sauce. We’re all facing the same issues here at this moment, some if not all items are out of stock! You have to be prepared if you’re running a project, either come as grab as the stocks are ready or visit the store multiple times.

Samone Jones: Old faithful IKEA. Great new furniture. I came to look at the faucets and grab a quick lunch. As always you can get some great design ideas and gadgets for the home. My favorite are the duvets - they can always give a fresh look to a room. The food is pleasant. I got the Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes, and fries.

Giovani Guarnieri: Furniture and all you may need for your house and office you can find here. Prices are good. But you have to carry out by yourself and put it together in your house to... I like to do like that but if you don't like it will be a problem. Will be back soon

Mahjabeen Mitu: In general Ikea products are always price worthy and presentable, so you won’t struggle much to fit with your budget and planning. They have huge collection but their catalogue based marketplace will help you to get your desired one quickly. I’ve been using their products since 2013 and it never makes me disappointed. If you love to decorate your home and garden, really a great place to get a complete package of ideas! On a separate note, they have a Swedish food market of vivid collections, so you can enjoy chocolates, cookies, coffee and etc. of swedish flavor right there. Also, I would highly recommend to visit their food courts, foods are awesome! If you have an Ikea family membership, you will get discounts on foods and all kinds of beverages are free for you ☕️🍹🍸. Interestingly, they do birthday wishes to the members each year offering worth of $10 coupon and a frozen yogurt of any flavor🍦 🍦

Candie W: If you want to build it....IKEA and a little patience is all you need. I have a bit of both ;--) I frequent this Ikea because I want to achieve my own personal "carrie bradshaw" type of closet (the ladies will understand).....I also want a PAX spa cabinet. So, although I could give them 3 stars - I know they are 4 star worthy.... Here lately though, I am becoming very frustrated. Lots of things are temporarily unavailable or discontinued without notice. Makes it extremely hard when you have a large project to achieve. ALSO! This weekend they advertised their annual Julboard and I was exited for the festivities....BUT, as with everything else - IKEA missed their usual mark. I believe it is due to the pandemic but I am disappointed. I don't want IKEA to be in comparison to Walmart, Costco, or Sam's...I hold them in a higher regard....but, empty shelves - displaying things on the showroom not available - Costco type sampling....this is not you IKEA!!!! I know because I am here all the time..... BRING IKEA back!!!!!!

Lately, I see a lot of improvements in the home appliance and kitchen section kudos. I am like a kid in a candy store coming here. I wish IKEA will start offering professional account set up to get extra perks and discounts. I love coming here and Woodbridge location.

Charley: Overall rating of 4.7, went shopping in search of a specific type of bed frame. Was disappointed when I was informed they did not have that model in stock and opted to instead settle for the "Malm" variant. Buying the bed was super easy, when I confronted an employee he told me exactly what I needed to purchase. The bed came in 4 different items and the overall assembly of it was not too bad. However, take this with a grain of salt because I am a master builder and the process was mildly engaging.

Stephanie Jackson: IKEA literally has everything. I needed a table to match another piece of furniture I purchased from IKEA to place my record player on. Of course they had the perfect piece. It took 5 minutes to put together. Super cute and super easy.

Abi Maghamfar: Ikea is a great place for do it yourselvers and those who don't mind assembling their own furniture. The prices are good and the return policy is generous at 365 days! However on a recent visit to the College Park, MD store it was obvious they are having a hard time keeping their shelves stocked. Almost 1/3 of shelves were bare or limited stock. We had to change plan for a bed because they did not have the mattress we wanted and the support slats for the bed. It would be helpful if they mark out of stock items in the showroom so you don't have to go to the warehouse to find out they're out and then you have to start all over! On a positive note, I commend Ikea for their commitment to environment by installing solar panels all over their parking lot.

Erin Wagner: I’ve gotten so many high quality items from Miss Pixie’s over the last several years, but today I’m finally leaving the five star review they’ve always deserved! We had scheduled a delivery for them to bring a table we purchased, and Miss Pixie herself rolled up in a pickup truck this morning right on time. It turns out the delivery drivers were stuck in an elevator, but somehow that didn’t stop them at all! We gave her a hand and she didn’t charge us the usual delivery fee to make up for the trouble (what trouble?!). We look forward to continuing to shop at Miss Pixie’s as we furnish our home.

India Lindsay: Store has a variety of furniture, art, and random decorations. Everything is laid out artistically while still being easy to walk around. Majority of items are on the pricier side, though you can find a few steals. I snagged a painted medium-sized pot hand painted in Italy for $12.

Jace Warble: Miss Pixies is a lovely little shop with beautiful pieces, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and price that matches quality. Definitely worth stopping by!

Rachael Brown: Everything is over priced just because they say "antique". But that wasn't even my issue. I was in the store for 10 minutes and passed the store employee and was never greeted. I watched her greet other guests who walked in after me and was super cordial to another guest. Cool. I need to furnish my entire apartment, but I'll take my money to someone who wants it.

Alexandra Goodman: Lovely antique store with some really nice pieces. Prices for some of the larger items were reasonable, but pricing was kind of all over the place. Obvious sets of items (chairs, side tables, glasses, etc.) were priced individually which was weird for an antique store. Other pieces were priced way too high, like $95 for an IKEA mirror or $250 for a simple basic wooden console table (which would have been $50 anywhere else but DC). Overall, I enjoyed this store and walking around inside, but I probably won’t buy here due to the pricing.

RCS S: A lot of choices! You will find a great addition to your home. Affordable furniture and home goods. They have flexible return policy. The place is huge and they offer a lot of discounts. Their food is great, Sadly, their food court is closed.

Eduardo Moser: A great shopping store for everything related to decoration and home equipment. Remodeling, kitchen utensils, lamp, carpet, furniture, floors, etc. . Two large sections (two floors) one with the Showroom where you can see the products assembled in scenes that simulate rooms and even entire apartments, it is also to buy small items. On the other level, the warehouse is mainly for large items and there is the checkout. It can be a bit complicated to find the products due to the large size of the place. It has covered parking.

Veronica Svinicki: Love IKEA! While a couple things were out of stock they still had everything I needed. Also love the vegan food items they have now. The veggie dog was a nice after shopping treat

Jerius Nassif: If I had the option, I would select (-) What do you this inside the package? Me too, I thought I was a mattress. What else should anyone think if the sticker on the package showed a mattress with a person laying on it. BUT.. It was not a mattress! So, I took it back to the store to return it. However, store manager refused to acknowledge the error in the packaging sticker and take responsibility for this failed management of the store marketing and refused to return claiming that it was an as is item and, according to IKEA's policy, the sale of an as is item is final. So i left them in the store and walked out with a plan to pursue other venue to get my money back. Next time I shop in IKEA (but not in this store for sure), I will open the packaging and check the item inside the store before I pay for it. I advise everyone to do the same. The packaging label can be misleading to trap a customer in a sale that can't be returned.

Fernando Jose: First time to an IKEA trip — and it was a marvelous experience. Parking in the garage isn’t a hassle, and the loading dock is quite spacious for multiple vehicles to station there. IKEA’s app was very accurate with what is in stock — it made my 2 hour trip so worth it because I knew what I was looking for and it all worked out great! Absolutely loved having the walk-through catalogues on the 3 & 4 floor. It is super useful to look at it in person than to guess using the naked eye with a tape measure. Love the some what easy instructions for the Hemnes & Brimnes products! I purchased two Hemnes night stands in the gray stained wood, with the Hemnes 6 chest. This set looks absolutely gorgeous! I went with the gray Brimnes 4 storage bed frame and the Brimnes Headboard - as pretty as the picture! I came back a second time, continuing to assemble the furniture, and so far so good. IKEA has high quality products that won’t dissatisfy. The IKEA store is more user friendly than in-person speaking with a staff member because all their website and useful info is attached to the furniture. I contacted IKEA customer support over the phone and they made it unchallenging for me to get missing items and damaged items replaced! Amazing experience, great prices, variety of selections, customizable furniture, and overall a place to decor your entire home. It enchanted your home with many aesthetic things and ideas. This trip opened my mind to brand new home decor projects for the future.

SAI BHARATH: I feel really sad that I missed the cafeteria. I got there late. The self checkout kiosk is a bit confusing and time taking. It's not intuitive and it asks too many questions. But the staff gave directions and I was able to checkout finally. They've great deals all around. I got the 3 for 3$ chockolad . And it was delicious. I was really expecting milk chocolate with a swedish taste. And it didn't disappoint. They also had great deals on cups, plates And bowls for less than a dollar. Plan to spend at least an hour or two to cover the entire area !

LaQuincy Gilmore: 1pm is the BEST time to be here. People still at work, so it's clear of large crowds and super short lines. Ikea has great products at Walmart like prices. I personally love it here.

Will be spending my money on Wayfair instead. At least their website knows what is in stock. Thank you Ikea for wasting my entire day

Millenial Girl: I love this place. In my last visit, I have discovered that the kitchen utencils are cheapest here than Walmart Store. I have a Short Term Rental, so for that kind of business. This is a great option.

Julian Coats: Brandi and Corinth restored my faith that great customer service still exists. For me it was very special in that I am in the process of relocating from overseas (work for the military) I hadn’t lived in the states for years. So setting up a residence in the states from overseas can and did present many challenges some such as the time difference I am 6 hours ahead of est. this being said brandy and Corinth were 100% professional from the moment I spoke with them. Their patience with me was wonderful. They took the time to really help me in figuring out what was the best package for me at the same time being flexible. as someone with little knowledge of furniture they took the time to use their knowledge to ensure the furniture was a great match. I could go on and on about the overall customer service experience I received. But mostly when we are overseas we feel detached when having to deal with relocation because most just don’t understand the challenge we are facing when trying to establish a new residence in the states but Corinth and Brandi took the time to listen to ensure the furniture portion was seamless. . I thank them both and will highly recommend to my unit overseas to make sure anyone transitioning to the dc area reach out to the for any furniture needs. She is " Da Bomb" she was polite, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, delightful and just an all around good person to represent Cort Furniture. There was also another young lady who was delightful. Then there was a gentleman who wrapped my items and hand carried them to my car. The staff in that store are extremely customer service oriented, helpful and so, so pleasant. Kayla Imani: All we can say is WOW! My boyfriend and I are moving into our first apartment and we needed quality furniture at an AFFORDABLE price. We called before making the hour drive to this location to make sure they had what we wanted and Corinth assured us that they had our choices and that they were in great condition. When we got there everything was in amazing shape and Corinth helped us put together an amazing package within our budget! Lacy Carter: Purchased furniture from this place Saturday, the gentleman working in sales that day was great. Very satisfied with my purchase, would recommend and come back again!

Corey Cohen: I came back to my apartment building to find that one of their delivery trucks was completely blocking access to the resident garage. An entire 5 story apartment building full of people, unable to park their cars so they could make the delivery slightly easier on themselves. Don't give these selfish morons your business.
Response: Just so that you know, we were instructed by the Property Management Office to park exactly where we did to complete a furniture rental installation. This is standard protocol in our industry - to park where instructed. We did not choose the location. Very sorry for your inconvenience.

Todd B.: They had a large selection of furniture at great prices! You could outfit a 1 bedroom apartment for around $500. That's great! We were looking for a queen size sleeper sofa for the basement. We found one here and it was perfect. They had three of them in stock, and then 2 more full rows of various sleeper sofas. Roberto was very helpful and loaded the sofa into our truck. We decided that we are definitely going back.

Meg Raker: I love the bedroom set I got from Corporate Rentals. It's been over 4 years and just as many apartments, and these pieces look great everywhere I bring them. There was a great selection to choose from and once I picked out what I wanted, they arranged for everything from delivery to assembly. The staff and delivery guys were professional and efficient and made moving into a new place easy and enjoyable.

UT Z: If you live in the MD or VA area, and are in need of anything futon (or furniture) related you need to go to Gala. I drove an hour from my home to his store for a new futon mattress and it was worth it more than I can say. First, it is the service. He gave me options, asked me questions which I hadn't even thought to ask and helped me pick out my futon mattress. Let me emphasize: he helped. He didn't pressure me to pick out a more expensive option. He also really cared that I went home happy. In a world of 'get it quick', and 'just order online', this independent small-business (with a lot of American made products!) reinforced for me the benefits and importance of shopping locally.

Namitha Ramakrishna: This is a store with wonderful quality products, managed by a knowledgeable and friendly family. The lower priced couches are more expensive than chain stores like Ashley Home Store, but they are absolutely worth the quality. My friend recently slept on my couch for several nights (after I have had the couch for 2 years), and she said it was even better than her mattress. I also appreciated that the family did not pressure me to buy anything but walked me through all the options. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for long-lasting, comfortable, and beautiful furniture.

Mr. Ayman was helping a couple when we walked in and while we waited, we listened as he helped them. He was geniunely engaged in them and we could tell that he was just not trying to make a sale. When it was our turn, he asked lots of questions, not in an annoying way but in a way that you could tell he was really interested in what we wanted or needed. He was not pushy at all. edmonton7810: Ayman is super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. He helped me pick a couch for my living room. I changed my mind a couple of times, but he was always patient, even though what I ended up buying was half the price of the first couch I picked :) Ayman also provided me with a much needed service free of charge (he said it was an easy job for him). I have received the couch for about a week and it is great. I cannot thank Ayman enough for helping me find what I need. Highly Recommend!

Hannah Lensing: Best place in the metro area to buy a couch, sectional, or futon. They will get you what you want at a great price. Extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with you. Recommend having an idea of what you are looking for prior to going because it’s a small showroom. Plus is you have tons of options to choose from and customize. My boyfriend reminds me every day we got the perfect couch :)

Carolyn Marie: My husband and I have been going to Gala since we moved to the area in 2016. They are fantastic! It’s a family-run business with a small showroom and TONS of knowledge about the products. Whatever you need, whatever your budget, they will help you find the perfect piece. They are very up front and honest, they do not try to wheel and deal you, and they stand by their products. They run their business with integrity, professionalism, and warmth. We have bought a dining room set, an entertainment center, two desks, two desk chairs, a small couch, and an entire master bedroom set from them. Every piece has been just as they described. They are also just very lovely people. If you need affordable but nice furniture, go to them! You won’t be disappointed.

Tim was able to accommodate and the furniture was disassembled, wrapped, and moved to my new apartment. While assembly manuals are helpful, having someone who already knows how to disassemble/assemble these furniture pieces definitely expedited my move. Would highly recommend!

Michael Nagan: Two big thumbs-up for BoConcept, and Tim. The first thumbs-up is for the furniture itself. We purchased several Mariposa chairs and a Granada table. We have absolutely loved them both! They are probably our favorite pieces of furniture. The table is incredibly easy to expand and contract, so we actually do it all the time. (The mechanism is kind of fun to use, so I actually like doing it, rather than dreading it.) And the chairs are beautiful and comfortable. The second thumbs-up is for their service. We had a problem with one of the chairs almost five years after we purchased it. The warranty had long since ended, but I contacted Tim (who wasn’t even the owner when we purchased the chairs) to ask about it. He concluded that the problem shouldn’t have happened, so he offered to fix the chair for free. That involved replacing a substantial piece of the chair - which couldn’t have been cheap for them. And they did the repair in about 15 minutes at their warehouse while I waited and chatted with the lovely repair people. I guess you can tell that I feel pretty positive about BoConcept, but they’ve earned it!

Rob Streicker: I cannot say enough nice things about BoConcept DC and its owner Tim Machenaud. I purchased an office chair from this shop almost 5 years ago and it held up beautifully until one of the wheels popped off -- it appeared that normal wear and tear had stripped a bolt of its threading. Despite the chair being out of warranty, Tim immediately offered to replace the entire chair at no cost to me. It was available to pick up from the showroom the next day. This is customer service at its finest. I'm now sitting in my new chair writing this review -- a very happy customer.

Laura Lee: Seriously, the best customer service EVER!. We bought a couch and a rug here and Tim is so expeditious with his replies to anything we needed. There was a little piece of fabric that was sticking out after we got it delivered and he came right away to fix it. The delivery was also the BEST delivery experience I have ever had. SOOOOO OD professional! The inside of the moving vehicle was even cleaner than my house! Definitely NOT a 3rd party delivery service and fake white glove delivery. They wore booties when they came into the house, came within the time frame of said delivery, and gave 20-25 mins notice as promised. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to ANYONE! Superb 5 star service.

Cecille Lawson: I recently bought a couch, love seat, and two arm chairs. The manager, Rick, was incredibly helpful. I had ordered the furniture online without seeing it in person first. He contacted me to let me know that there was an issue with the couch and also let me know the couch and loveseat/chairs didn't really go well together even though it looked that way online. He encouraged me to go to the store to look at the options in person. When I did that, he was again very helpful and worked to identify the pieces that really met my need and then ensured that they were delivered on the day they were promised - even when the other store that one of the items was coming from didn't send over the right chair. He went above and beyond and personally oversaw the delivery of the chair that was missing from the other store. Rick truly takes customer service seriously. I will be a repeat customer thanks to him!

Estoya Sunyanie: I have never visited this store, this review is solely for their pick up services. On 8/2/18 I scheduled a pick up for 8/20/18 online. 4 bags of clothes and tall dresser and night stand. Indicated that the furniture was on the 2nd floor of my Townhouse. I received a (do not reply) confirmation email with no number to call or additional information. 8/20 happened to be the first day of school and as I was pulling away from my house to drop my daughter off at 7:30am they pull up behind me. No courtesy call to say they were on their way or anything. Told them I would call back and reschedule. Here's why they get 1 star. The rep on the other end was very nice and helpful, but told me that the drivers called him at 9am saying that there was no furniture outside, and that the customer canceled. I clearly indicated in the online form that items would NOT be left outside because #1 I'm expecting and can't lift/move anything and #2 it isn't allowed in my townhouse community. At that point rescheduling wasn't an option because they gave me another far out date, I will just have to pay someone to remove the items and donate the clothes locally in a designated drop off box. The gentleman on the phone did say that I was suppose to call the day before and it's actually better to call and schedule a pick up than doing it online because the system "acts funny". well what's the point of having that as an option then?? They need to do better. Will be posting this same review on other sites as well.

Hildy Eppel Hassman: Went for a walk through. The store looked good - the many furnishings and accessories were displayed in a way that demonstrates how the pros do space planning. Especially like the "whole" apartment feel setups of the small square footage spaces.

Khary Ward: My first time going here. I thought I was going to be in this place forever, so I decided to grab a bite to eat from the cafeteria/restaurant. Baked salmon and string\green beans were kinda under seasoned, but I rather have it under than over seasoned. Made my way to do a bit of shopping and it was a great experience. Employees were really helpful and the wait time at the check out lines were not long at all. I was here for an hour and and I was out in no time.

It gave you lots of ideas for all of there products. We had lunch, cafeteria style. The portions were quite large. I'm happy with my purchases, will visit again.

Nathan Q: It's Ikea, what's not to like. The show rooms are a great way to get a sense of scale and potential styling ideas. The prices are alright for a huge variety of furniture but mostly it's just fun to walk around. Food is as good as advertised and sooo cheap which is nice to pick up a snack and walk around for a bit.

We came to this Bob's after not having the best experience at another Bob's. So, we were definitely skeptical... Larry and the store manager not only took care of our current needs but also helped with our previous issues. We were coming into cancel an order but ended up keeping that order and getting another. People first vibe that made us feel really great to be there. 100% recommend working with Larry as we feel he was friendly, down to earth, attentive and knowledgeable.

Jessica Dodson: I understand that shipping is delayed with the pandemic, so I didn’t even complain when I had to wait for 5 months to get the “marble” dinning set I had purchased. Once we finally received it, I noticed there was a chip in the center. I called customer service and they told me they could replace the table but that it would probably be another 5 months. Ok, that was fine until we started to use the table. I bought what I thought was a marble table top because I thought it would be durable and hold up for our large family. But after just one week the table looked horrible. The table top is not a slab of marble, but pieces glued together and covered with a thick coat of polyurethane. The top coating shows EVERYTHING. You can permanently see every spill, tiny mark, or ring left by a glass. I am including pictures. I again called customer service and they said all they could do was exchange the table. I don’t want another cheap polyurethane table. They said that I would have to talk to the store manager for any more help. When I was transferred to the store I spoke to two associates. The second one was incredibly rude. She told me the table was in fact just pure marble. I invited her to come to my house and explain to me how marble bubbles. She said she could not help me and that I had to talk to customer service. But that is the opposite of what customer service had just told me. After asking 3 times to talk to the store manager, she finally told me he was out of town until the next week. She took my information and said the store manager would call me on Monday or Tuesday. Guess what? I never received a call. So I called today (Wednesday) and was told that the manager just left and wouldn’t be back until Saturday morning. I guess calling a disappointed customer isn’t important to the managers at Bob’s. This was my first and last time shopping at Bob’s furniture. Never again! PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES! This table is now two weeks old and it looks horrible! By far the worst thing I have ever wasted money on. I guess I will continue to try to get in touch with the store manager. At this point, I just want my money back! TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, DONT SHOP AT BOB’S FURNITURE!

Reilly Gossner: My couch was just delivered and I could not be happier with the entire experience I’ve had with Bob’s. A few months back, I went to the Woodbridge store to look for a new couch and was greeted by Joe. Joe was the perfect salesperson. He gave me enough room to browse around and take my time, but was never too far away if I had any questions. Joe was kind, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The delivery process was a BREEZE. Bob’s communicated the date/time window for delivery and I was able to “track” the delivery throughout the morning. I live in a high rise apartment building and the two man team that delivered my couch were superstars. From freight elevator to “have a great day!”, the process took about 15-20 minutes. The couch is in perfect condition. They made sure the couch was exactly where I wanted it and were incredibly efficient. I am so impressed with Bobs and would definitely recommend!

Jenilyn Reyna: Shopping today at Bob's furniture was not at all how I expected it to be when I first walked in. I thought it would be like most furniture stores where you are either pestered every second you're there, or you are completely ignored and the salesmen make faces and kind of turn their nose at you. BUT from the moment we walked in we were greater with a warm, friendly hello from Mohammad. He explained the layout of the store and then let us be on our way and said if we had questions to wave him down. I went with my husband and normally am always ignored by sales associates if I'm with him, but Mohammad made sure to always ensure I was spoken to directly and was a part of the buying process. He helped us customize the couch we wanted and was very upfront about time frame of when we would be getting the furniture. He never was pushy and never had the attitude of "You have to buy from us." He was so genuinely kind and made us feel like part of the family. My husband and I are so happy with our purchase and can't wait for it to come in. We're so glad to have stopped in and will look again at Bob's in the future.

Jeanette Edwards: My first inclination was not to go to Bob's Discount Store because I equated the name with cheap furniture. Wow, was I wrong! I had previously visited 4 other furniture stores and my husband suggested I check out Bob's. I decided to visit the store just to satisfy my curiosity. I was so pleased with their selections and to top it off, Larry Green, the Sales Associate, was so helpful and patient. He understood exactly what I was looking for and helped me to zero in on some options. He was so patient with all my questions, whereas at the other stores I felt like the sales people were just after the commission with their heads swiveling looking to catch other customers walking around. If I'm looking for more furniture in the future, Bob's and Larry Green will be my first stop instead of my last!

Samir Popal: Great place to buy furniture. Like the ad says, they don't corners and more importantly their sales agents are wonderful . They are not pushy. They are courteous, helpful and sincere - unlike most other salespeople in other furniture stores. They could do better in the design department but then again their prices aren't expensive either

L Tesh: Excellent customer service! 🙏 They went above and beyond to help me with a defective product, even though it was not their issue! Do not purchase any PHILIPS appliances! I bought a Philips Latte Go Machine $800.00ish, it is broken after 11 months it just stopped working. Sent to Philips to repair. They sent it back with even more issues than before, and it is still broken and with someone else’s parts! They said “use it for awhile and it will get better”!🙄 makes brown water espresso. Philips service is useless! Crate and Barrel awesome!👍

Multiple colors were available to allow for various options. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nizar Farsakh: Higher-end furniture store with a large selection of stylish and sometimes practical furniture. They also have kitchen utensils and appliances, though I would go for the furniture more than the appliances. A bit on the pricey side but arguably hit and miss on the quality. Staff is pretty knowledgeable and helpful. They do get pretty busy at times and parking can be a challenge. I would plan to run a few errands like going to the Whole Foods next by to park.

Said Durrah: Crate and Barrel staff are the difference. You don't feel like they are hard selling you. They help with a smile and make you enjoy the shopping experience.

Lauren Geilfuss: Just called to check stock on an item. They don’t carry it in store and charge almost $100 to ship it. I expressed we would go a different direction because of the shipping costs and that if it’s an item unavailable for pick up in store, it would make sense the shipping costs be waived. The employee laughed at my frustration on the phone and while laughing said “okay, have a good day, bye.” Completely disregarding my frustration, made no attempt to mend the issue or ensure our business. I always have the worst customer service no matter what Crate and Barrel I attempt to work with.

RCS S: Exceptional service and great designs. Staffs are friendly and will help you all the way to the pick up area if your have too much to carry. So much to choose from. I have a lot of pieces from their collection and never had a problem with the quality. Even the huge online purchases, they call before your delivery date and when there’s a problem the customer service are always ready to help to resolved the issues.

Dede T: My five star review is for the customer service alone that I received from Tyler. I may have been dealing with the other females in the other reviews first. I had called to ask where the pickup location was and she basically told me "it's like any other store and it's obvious". It is not obvious at all in the dark where the spots are. After driving around the building for a while trying to find the pickup location, Tyler came out to my car, was extremely nice, showed me where the pickup spots were but didn't want me to get out of the car because it was too cold he said. So instead he ran back in, got my package, and brought it out to me. One of the nicest kids I've run into in a long time. His momma should be proud 😁

The store is always clean, organized and has many options to choose from. The staff is super friendly and there in case you have any questions or need help. There’s plenty of parking in the garage and in the other ground level parking lot.

Elizabeth Meade: UPDATE- I contacted the store per the request after the review and was told to send an email directly to the store (which I had also done in the past). Like before, my email was totally ignored. Again, I will say that this is the ONLY time I have even been disappointed with the quality of Crate and Barrel. And not the sofas themselves, just the terrible so called performance fabric for which we paid extra. It is just so disappointing. I have to get it reupholstered after just over a year and I am just so unhappy. The performance fabric is terrible. Just normal use and it’s so dirty and discolored after one year. And yes we regularly vacuumed. I tried to show the store pictures but they said they couldn’t tell the difference and asked what I wanted. How about recovering in performance fabric that actually holds its own? We have a lot of Crate and Barrel furniture and this has been the one disappointment.

Mourad Oudbib: If there were zero stars I would give it! Horrible customer experience! I bought a marble table from the clearance at the Tysons corner, VA store. I am however extremely upset that they damage table before pick up. been trying to solve problem for a month but no solution. I give up .Giving Up Is Sometimes the Best Way to Solve a Problem. I asked Miranda for help and she helped me find my order on a different floor and processed it as picked up! She was helping two other customers at the same time and truly was focused on the best experience for everyone. She deserves something special for the hard work she provided Sunday!

Nicson Lebrun: The spectrum of building materials available there really fit their name: buyers give their stuff a second opportunity to be useful! I love the price but the interior designer wife of mine thinks that they don’t fit into her schema of our place’s furnishings. However, after trying hers, she said that it’s really comfortable. So I like the price and we both like the comfort, it’s a triple win!

The world needs more places like this with the ability to recycle, up cycle and reuse perfectly good products and materials. A. McCullough: This is a great place to get used household items. However, please inspect potential purchases carefully to determine their manufacturer and research their actual costs because sometimes 2nd chance has priced the item close to what it would cost new. Also, check all lighting fixtures to ensure that they have their brackets, or else you will have to buy those things separately, which is not always easy with antique items. The really nice high-end furniture goes quickly, so be prepared to pay on the spot.

Marnie Boyer: We used Second Chance to deconstruct the existing home on the property where we will build a new home in Bethesda. Our builder suggested Second Chance and we loved the idea that the materials would be reused (and not go to the landfill) and that there would be on-the-job skill development. After several delays on my end, Second Chance showed up when scheduled and did a great job at reclaiming all of the interior materials (ducts, appliances, hardwood floors, cabinets, bathroom materials, etc.) and all of the exterior materials (windows, doors, joists, rafters, etc.) I would run by the house almost every day and see everyone working hard and taking care of the materials and my property. I put pictures in below. You can see the pictures before & after don't look all that different as they cannot reclaim the brick but everything else is removed. The inside shot shows what it looked like at the end when all of the usable materials were removed. The other shot is of the reusable materials wrapped up nicely to be removed carefully. Thanks Second Chance!

Geoffrey Hart: Second chance is someplace everyone with a home in Baltimore needs to visit from time to time. Treasures are waiting to be found. I won't say that the treasure is easy to find as it may be mixed in with a lot of "stuff". Yet if you take the time to explore and remain open to the possibilities, you just may find exactly what you never knew you needed. As for me, in perfect solutions for problems in my garden and great ideas for the next home improvement project. I pray you'll have a similar experience soon!

mark williams: Even if you don't buy anything this is a great place to just walk through. Lots of old furniture, knick knacks, tools, building materials, and much more. All reasonably priced and if you buy something the staff is very helpful. Kind of like an antique store and yard sale all rolled up into one!

Emil Ahmadi: Don't waste your time going here. When I checked out their credit card reader could not read my credit card. I had just used the card in Target few minutes earlier so I know it wasn't my card. The cashier admitted this has been happening all day. Unfortunately their new credit card machine is so advanced that they are not able to swipe or manually enter card info. Im Sure if you can wait for every single staff member to come and help someone can fix the issue but you would have waited 30minutes to just pay.

Rose Bailey: No AC on in the store, cashiers and workers up front goofing off loudly, and to top it off when checking out the cashier not even checking is out was barking orders about how to unload the cart.

Diane Stewart: Love my sectional. It is the most comfortable spot in my home. I'm upset I haven't been Shopping here sooner.

Ryan Peters: One of my favorite stores. Lots of great decor, toys, furniture, Wine, Beer, and tons of unique food items that change out on a pretty regular basis. You'll definitely have a fun time shopping every time you visit. They have a loyalty program that's pretty decent and ends up giving you discount coupons throughout the year. The furniture selection is reasonably priced and typically pretty high quality.

Edward Sibert: Went in last week to buy two nice bottles of wine for my fiancée. Didn't know anything about their wine and asked for help. A gentleman pointed out two bottles one said it was semi sweet, I told him didn't want sweet he said its not. Both wines were horrible, one was like sugar water with bubbles the other was just horrible and cost 22 plus tax. I called to complain and manager said well you opened them sorry. I told her I would write a review she said ok. I will never buy anything from here rude and no knowledge of their products....but they'll pretend they do.

Sharon: I went into this store to purchase a piece of wall art recently. Big, poster, red sale signs throughout the store, "Save 20%-50% off wall decor". I went to purchase wall decor item, I was told by manager the sale is for Members Only. The big, red poster signs did not state "for Members Only". She went and got a little, small black/white index card that states Members Only for wall decor sale. I accuse this company of deceptive advertising with the use of confusing, misleading & blatant untrue sale signs. ALL signs should read Members Only if this is who the sale is for. Filed VA State Attorney General Consumer complaint and BBB complaint. Can't stand companies that do this crap.

Lavonnia Johnson: You will always find something in this store for your home. There are many unique items to look at. You may just find what you are looking for.

Carla Ferguson (Your Bon Viveur): They always have the best items in stock from household items, to furniture, to gift able items, and a great variety of food, snacks and wines.

Francis Campbell: These stores are always an adventure to shop in as I never know what I'll find.Some are stocked with those hard to find specialty items you didnt know you needed and small imported items toucan find anywhere else. Some things are overpriced in my estimation but that's life now.Love the selection of spicy items I find here and the variety of German chocolate's my wife like. Those " nick nack" food items and teas, the wife likes, will keep me coming back.

I'm definitely loving their plant selection and their textiles and bedding areas....don't forget to grab some Swedish meatballs with lingonberry jam, lingonberry juice and some of their sweet treats in the cafeteria like restaurant.

They had some simple furniture there at a good price. Seemed like they had something for everyone. I bought a small bamboo cutting board and a scrub brush for dishes, along with some frozen Swedish meatballs. THIS PLACE IS ALOT OF FUN TO GO TO... SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!!!

Guadalupe martinez: Most items are out of stock. No longer sell cinnamon buns trays. Love the showrooms but they barely have the items in one place ex: I was looking for a cup holder I saw on the showroom for the game area and I went to look for it on the bottom floor and they tell me I have to go back upstairs because it's not downstairs, so it's confusing. I use to like going to ikea but now it's just not the same.

Frank Bellino: No wonder this location only received 2 stars on Yelp. They barely deserve one. We decided to buy our mattresses from IKEA. They have the exact mattress we like so we decided to order the same one. Their website states they had 18 in stock at the time but it didn’t allow us to order it on their website. We call the Brooklyn location and were told when ordering online, it’s sent from a warehouse, not from the store. We asked if we can order it through the store but were told we had to physically come in to order it. We asked due to inconvenience could they make exceptions, … no! We go to the store (during a pandemic), walk the 20 minute maze to finally get to the mattress section and ordered it. We were told we only had a choice of 2 days to get it delivered. Neither date worked but were told those are the only 2 dates. No apology, no explanation, so we booked one date. I stated to the sales person that I live in a high rise and there are time restrictions for delivering furniture/mattresses (10am to 4pm). She said no problem. Later I called to reschedule to a date that was convenient and there was no issue when I did it later by phone. The day before the delivery I get an automated call stating my mattress will be delivered between 9am and 11am. I press 3 and speak to someone and again reiterated the 10am-4pm situation. They said they will ‘make a note’. Day of the delivery, they call at 9:15 and said they are 10 minutes away. I again reiterated to the driver the 10am-4pm situation. He said office will call me. Ten minutes later I get a call (bounces to vmail as it’s suspected spam call). I listen to message and call back the number they gave me to call. After a 10 minute hold I tell them the situation and they said they may need to reschedule. I had to state that it would be inconvenient to have to take off another day for no fault of mine. The drivers were told to come back the same day and did around noon. They deliver the mattress, but they didn’t take off the plastic, the box and the pouch it came in. They just pushed it into my apartment, took a pic of it and left. I asked if they take it out of the packaging and they said no. Although we love the mattress, we do NOT love they way we were treated by IKEA all the problems they could had avoided. During these times, merchants should be making it easier for customers to buy their products, not make it more difficult. If you want convenience and treated with value and respect, I suggest you don’t shop at IKEA. They don’t seem to care about us, the customer.

Issy B: I like this Ikea. Its pretty big and have these floor to ceiling windows in one spot where you can just stare out into the water. The show rooms are nice and switch up so its different if you space out time between visits. The employees are nice and helpful. The food is up to Ikea standards, always eat here when visiting. If you are in Manhattan theres a free ferry that runs from NYC to this Ikea and returns. The last return boat is at 5pm so keep that in mind. The NYC ferry in brooklyn stops at red hook which is like a good 10-15 minute walk to Ikea. The lobster pound and hometown bbq is an easy walk from the ferry area too. Would only do the walk to/from the ferry if buying small items or have a trolley.

Bryan Lau: The food continues to be relatively cheap and surprisingly delicious. It’s hard to complain about the meatballs, and the chicken fingers and fries are a sleeper hit!

Jeanne Haggerty: I bought a Laren closet system over 4 months ago. It took months to get an installation date and when I was there were not options- I was told the date and had to accommodate. Fine. I was also given a very specific electrical plan for the wall. Fine. Hired an electrician and got the work done. When they arrived in the morning and unpacked everything leaving my house a disaster, they told me they had given me a wrong electrical design and I’d need to re-hire an electrician and change the outlet again. And that they didn’t know when they would be back and that the stuff would all be left in my house. It has been hours and they are trying to “figure out” scheduling. Seriously. There are lots of good closet installers out there. Go use one of THEM

Matthew Henry: I just love Container Stores. However, this is my all-time favorite location in the DMV area. It is a very large store, almost everything that you can imagine is always available, and you can look at the items that you are interested as if they were in your home. This is such a wonderful way to make the best use of square footage, and storage areas, and your home. Simple things, like a holder for your hair dryer that fits on the back of your bathroom cabinet door. Where to put your hair dryer, has been a long life issue. Having a storage place that uses previously unused storage area, is genius. You will find amazing inventions like this at the store on every aisle. Even if you aren't looking for ways to be more efficient in your organization of your office or home, just stop in, walk the aisles, and you'll be amazed!

Alexander Walk: Go anywhere else. I tired to have someone help to have my closet designed and was offered an in-home consultation. I took it and it turned out to be one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. The person sent just didn't want to be there. Complained about parking and made it feel like somehow it was my responsibility to accommodate her. She just explained all the things she couldn't do for me and discouraged me from doing anything. She basically didn't want to help and seemed disgusted to even be there. I just smiled and tried to play nice but I couldn't wait for her to go away. Went with a competitor and could not be happier.

Vijay Paul: Customer service and attention to detail was excellent. Worked with Mary at the store to design closet and pantry, she was amazing. Vernon came to install in home and he was fantastic. Overall such a great experience, cant recommend highly enough

Onyinyechi A: Decided to renovate my master bedroom and guest closet. Took advantage of the container storet end of year 30% off elfa closets sale. As you can see it makes a big difference. Doubled / tripled my closet space and more. I installed myself however if you want to let them install the rates are reasonable.

Lama Alhammouri: This review is concerning Elfa closet design at container store. I booked an appointment early 2020 to have a wardrobe design! I met with the personnel who showed me the final look based on the inaccurate measurements I had. I told her twice during the meeting that I need to give her more precise measurements and she assured me that there will be no need because everything in Elfa can be cut and customized in the room according to the space available (twice I was told that) They had a 30% promotion going on on Elfa so I needed up paying $4000 for a small closet! I had to pay $200 plus tip for handy app to deliver the material And I had to pay $500 for the installer On the day of installation there were no enough shelves and rods because the measurements were not precise and because unlike what the genius who works at Elfa told me can not be cut and customized on the day!!! I was extremely annoyed after paying all this money for mesh racks with some wooden look verniers to have this look at the end with two major empty spaces in the closet!!! Then Covid started and everything was shut down! Last summer I decided I need to pay more money to get the closet looking decent and to make use of the space I have and not use due to the consultation of Elfa representative. To my surprise I had the same woman serve me again She could only fill one space in my closet because of the measurements !!!!!! And then she proceeded to convince me to buy a shelving unit that is not Elfa and does not have the same color of the rest of the shelves in order to miniseries cost and because she is not sure the design she will be working on is going to fit in my remaining space!!! I am an extremely angry customer I went to Elfa and paid all the cash to have the whole thing looking walk-in closet but it did not happen I ended up with two empty spaces in my already small closet and cheap material as a walk in closet I will never recommend this store And I will happily pay for a closet service for measurements and solid wood instead of the cheap Elfa job and design that is on offer at the container store

Corinne Peterman: As I've started in another review, always love a Container store. This location is an excellent size and two floors. Staff had always been helpful when I've needed them. Great for pickup too. Garage parking with partial validation (or full if under 1/2 hour) has access to free chargers if you have an electric or plug in hybrid car

Olga Solarte Allison: The place is located in an old building, staff was rude and didn’t seem to have a lot of Knowledge. Massage was bad, worst prenatal Massage ever! And I’m saying this because I had lots in different places. The massage room was very bright and the lady got very confuse when I asked her for an eye mask! Don’t waist your money!

Austin Graff: Bellies and Babies is a consignment shop in Del Rey. Located in an old house near several cafes and restaurants, it's a great spot to save on kid clothes, toys, necessities, and maternity clothes. We came here to get a few new books for our toddler and left with 4-5 books for a cheap price!

Richard England: OK selection, but apparently a real hassle to try to consign. I tried today and was told their next available appointment to drop something off to consign wasn't for another MONTH! Also, they were a little rude to my wife a while back and have a reputation for being prickly. Not a deal breaker, but FYI.

The downside to being a popular consignment boutique with a successful track record of selling people’s stuff is that our appointments are usually booked out a month. We do have a cancellation list - which we do get - we can call you to give you the spot. The appointment is to set up your account & spend time with the consignor answering any questions. john Dickerson: Great location, the staff are extremely helpful, especially Hanna and her service dog, along with Juan they know how to work together and under pressure, most of these stores are under staffed and overwhelm with orders, but these guys took care of business.

Chanpen Tee: This location is very nice and clean. At the cashier, they clean the credit card machine after each customer used. Staff is nice well organized.

Justin Mangin: Inventory levels online never match what they have in store; very unorganized and managers seen to stay out of inventory issues.

All things custom made are expensive but my experience and opinion is that custom made products yield higher satisfaction because best quality materials are used, superior quality craftsmanship is in custom services and outstanding design consultation brings your vision to life. That is what distinguishes custom products from ordinary off the shelf products. Elfa designed closet systems fit and finish are visibly outstanding. Closet systems delivered on time and installation was efficient and flawless.
