Ali Samadpour: This store is basically abandoned. The alarm goes off on this building weekly and no one is there to turn it off for three days straight. People in the neighborhood are forced to listen to their alarm 24 hours a day.

Da M: Stopped in but was told you need an appointment. No where on the website does it say you need an appointment. The showroom looked to have about 5 people in it. Its okay. I ended up ordering from a third party and saved the sales tax! After that experience i will not order direct from Knoll

mark sanford gross: don't even try to follow-up after ordering and waiting for delivery information. now going on fifth round of circular voicemails to check on delivery only to be met with series of multiple menus, disconnects and unreliable voicemail service that does not allow for completing messages--white glove service.

Kay Moyer: Contemporary, high-end office furniture at affordable prices. Pieces will not go out of style on 10 years. Timeless.

Jennifer Zydney: My best customer experiences come about when someone I do business with makes a problem go away. That was the case with Warehouse Showrooms. Knowing lead times are stretched, we ordered some outdoor furniture well ahead of when we’d need it. When we approached the date that we thought we’d take delivery, we learned there had been some miscommunication about how/when the delivery would occur. Warehouse Showrooms really bent over backwards to address the situation and make it work for us. Super helpful and responsive customer service. Furniture delivery guys were great too, very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to enjoy our Polywood rockers!

Sara Barth: Warehouse Showrooms is great! We purchased a bedroom set and couldn’t be happier. Excellent quality solid wood furniture at reasonable prices. The staff at Warehouse Showrooms are so easy to work with and gave us realistic expectations about delivery timelines. We ended up adding a piece to our order a few weeks after our initial order was placed and they did not charge us for the second delivery. We’ll definitely shop with Warehouse Showrooms again!

Margaret Veenstra: This local business is great! The shopkeepers are friendly and helpful. All the furniture is made in America! Much of the wood furniture is crafted by Amish. We find value and quality in everything that we purchase here. We’ve previously purchased a bedroom set and today we purchased a couple mattress sets and a bed. We can’t wait til delivery day! Support local business, you wil not be disappointed.

Barry Rosman: We bought 5 matching walnut chairs to go with our new Live Edge table. The chairs legs were too wide to fit 2 chairs side by side. After some discussion, the came up with an innovative solution to move the table legs at no charge. They saved the day and fixed it within 24 hours. That is service. They are very helpful, creative and very easy to do business with.

Alek Cannan: High quality, hand made, solid wood furniture at fair prices. This showroom is excellent and the staff are really knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We visited the showroom looking for a dining set and a sleeper sofa. We were really impressed with the range of options available and the high quality workmanship. And most items are very customizable to adjust sizes and wood types and finishes to match just what you are looking for. We are really impressed and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for long lasting furniture.

Warehouse Showrooms had great customer service and after we decided we did like the chairs, they were able to order them for us at a better price than we would have gotten buying directly from the manufacturer. S B: Worst customer service ever! Never buy something at Roche Bobois, you will regret it if there is an issue with the new stuff. I bought a floor lamp (together with a bed, night stands and a sofa), and only 2 weeks after I received it I found out the lamp has a switch issue. I keep asking them for a solution but they have not sent a technician or found a solution. They do not even respond to my emails. The funny (or sad) thing is their own employees are who gave 5 stars Google fake reviews below (see Arjun Chaudhary and Taina). Both work at the Washington DC location, call there and ask for them. I took a photo in case they delete their own reviews. It seems I am not the only one complainig, check @ Pissed Consumer. All had the same disaster follow up customer service experience. Or check @ Glassdoor for employee review.

Angie Rhinehart: We came upon this store when we were out looking for new bedroom furniture. While we didn’t find that, we did find so much more! Don’t let the outside deter you, a treasure trove awaits you inside. They carry such unique and reasonably priced pieces. Plan to spend a good bit of time because there is so much to see that it takes several times around the warehouse to take it all in. The best part of this place is the customer service. Furniture shopping can feel like being fed to the wolves, but not here with Nico. He was present to offer help but not in your face and he was incredibly friendly. We found so many things we want for our home but picked up a few to start and are going back for more soon. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Robert Kagan: This is a truly wonderful business. I have purchased two beautiful items from them: a live edge desk and a round reclaimed teak kitchen table. They both give me happiness every day. The workmanship is outstanding. More than anything, I appreciate the wonderful friendly service. We needed the kitchen table in a hurry. They got it done. Morgan Holden: I went to Creative Classics in a hurry… I am moving to a remote area in Alaska and the movers were coming on Monday. This was Saturday. In getting ready for this big move I had not been able to purchase dining room chairs that we were desperately in need of after years of using donated furniture. I walked in, looked around a little bit, and was then asked if I needed any help. I told the gentleman I was looking for sturdy, Amish made, dining room chairs but I needed them this weekend. He said, maybe Monday: let’s look at our delivery schedule and our inventory to see what we have available. So we did. They did have delivery time on Monday, but my moving company was coming on Monday morning. I kept looking but secretly wasn’t sure Monday would work for me. He introduced himself as Steve, the owner - along with his wife, who was also working in the store that day and helping other clients. Steve brought me over to 2 different styles of dining room chairs and had me sit in them. One was so comfortable for me. I loved it. We went back to the computer to see when we could get these delivered. This is where it goes from good customer service to AMAZING!!! Steve calls his son, who also works in the business, and they arrange for his son to meet me at their warehouse right then. Even though the warehouse is closed on Saturday and it was his son’s day off they knew I was moving and completely went out of their way to help me. I paid and met his son at the warehouse 30 minutes later. He had pulled out all the chairs from their boxes, urged me to inspect each one, and then repacked them so I could have them moved to Alaska. I was headed to Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel next. Creative Classics prices were comparable and they are a small, family owned business, selling Amish made - not factory made - furniture. I am soooo happy with this purchase. I’m moving but I hope this review will bring other people to the store. Creative Classics will be my first choice when we come back to the area. Thanks for your help Steve and Steve Jr.

Rachel Landry: We had a great experience ordering our couch from Creative Classics. The sales associates were very helpful, but not pushy. There was a long lead time on the couch from the manufacturer but when it finally arrived, it was worth the wait. The delivery crew was professional and friendly. I signed off on the couch and realized shortly after that there was a fabric snag on the arm and an imperfection on the leg. When I contacted Creative Classics, they responded immediately and contacted the manufacturer to look into options. The manufacturer wanted to repair the upholstery and leg, which would have required us to surrender the couch. CC offered a couch to borrow during this time, which they would deliver. After more discussion, we really did not feel like going through such a process, during pre-vaccination Covid, for such small imperfections. I suggested a small monetary compensation to account for the damage and CC issued us a check, for what we felt was fair. The customer service is top notch and would never be found at larger, big name stores. They came through even when the issue was with the manufacturer, not their company. We will absolutely return to Creative Classics when we need quality furniture in the future.

Robert J.V. Sumner: I have been visiting Creative Classics since I moved to this area and well-before I was able to afford to shop there. During my visits, I met and have gotten to know Ann and the owners, Rachel and Scott. When stopping in, if only to browse, the staff has always taken time to tell me about the products they sell, how they are made, what is new, and the array of options that are offered to make each piece truly custom. Many of the products sold at Creative Classics are also made in the United States, by hand, and are scaled for smaller condominium spaces, which has been a refreshing contrast to many of the large, overstuffed or oversized pieces that are widely available. In recent years, I have been able to afford to buy some items from Creative Classics. The service is second to none, the items delivered on time with care, and are lasting longer than other products I have bought at mass retailers. I regularly receive compliments from guests about my furniture and how it brings my home together. To address some of the comments about the cost…well, you get what you pay for at any store and Creative Classics is no different. I have paid less for furniture from larger retailers where finishes have dulled, or components have failed within a short amount of time. My pieces from Creative Classics look just as good as they did when they were delivered. Of note, a dining set I purchased from Creative Classics was signed by the workers who built it in Illinois; a sofa I purchased from a manufacturer in North Carolina came with a card signed by each person who had a role in the construction of the piece ranging from the seamster, to the fabric cutter, to the upholsterer. This attention to detail and quality is not inexpensive but it lasts and the pieces are truly personalized. I cannot say enough about how welcoming Ann, Rachel, and Scott have been to me over the years and it is always a pleasure to stop in and browse. If you are seeking quality, American made furniture that can be tailored to your space and tastes, with personalized service, I recommend Creative Classics without hesitation.

Jessica Teel: I really had an outstanding experience with Creative Classics Furniture. Everyone was outstanding from working with Melissa to selecting my item to Ann on providing regularly the status of my order (Due to COVID-19 delays) and Dan making sure everything was on route and timely. I am very happy with the final product. This is my second time ordering from Creative Classics. I worked with Creative Classics over 10 years ago when I ordered our first bed when we first purchased our home. Creative Classics still has wonderful customer service even during the current environment with COVID-19 and the demand for furniture and home products being high. I am so happy I decided to reorder another bed tufted headboard and frame from them again. I highly recommended them to my neighbors and friends and will continue to do so. Tanya: I was adamant that I wanted to support local crafters and was referred to Creative Classics by a friend when in search of a new dining room table. I found the one I wanted through Copeland, and ordered it via email with Creative Classics. In my email (and pandemic haze) I failed to specifically mention a glass top table. When the table showed up it was of course solid wood. I signed off on the order sheet etc so really the blame is on me. Creative classics was so kind to not only order me the correct table, but to allow me to use the one that was incorrect until it would arrive. They refunded the price difference, and also my delivery fee! Simply amazing for something that was really *MY* fault. I absolutely will be ordering from them again. Thinking maybe a new bedroom set next. Bottom line, don't hesitate to support this small business who in turns supports other small businesses with products that are made in the USA.

Margo Ramage: i cannot say enough good things about Creative Classics in Alexandria, VA. I live in a modestly-sized condo and I found Creative Classics had by far the best options for appropriately sized furniture. I ordered a sectional and I got what I wanted in dimensions, firmness, fabric and arm style - not what I was willing to settle for. Ann was beyond patient and gave me great advice. I also bought metal-framed nesting tables and was able to select from a variety of metal finishes to blend with other metal finishes in the living/dining area. The delivery service was professional with an emphasis on safety during the pandemic. Try them, you'll like them.

FlimFlam Man: I highly recommend this store if you are looking for high quality, American-made furniture. My wife and I live in a small, two bedroom condo. We purchased all of our living room furniture from them and had it delivered around 2 months ago, and just finished placing another order for a dining room table, chairs and a buffet. We love this store so much that after the dining room furniture arrives, we will be ordering new bedroom furniture from them also. The staff and owners of the store are very nice, helpful and professional. The delivery guys were friendly and very good at their jobs - all of the furniture arrived without a scratch and in perfect condition. All of their furniture is custom-made with hundreds of options in regards to fabric choices, materials, colors and patterns. When we sat down to look at some of the fabrics for the couch, Rachel, one of the owners, must have noticed a look of desperation on our faces as we tried to figure out what we wanted. She told us they had designers who could come out to our home to help wade through all of the choices, so we decided to give it a try. That was probably the best decision we made. Our designer was Elisa - she came to our home and spent nearly two hours with us to figure out what we were looking for. A week or so later, she gave us multiple design plans for the living room, dining room and bedroom, and also gave us recommendations on new carpet colors and patterns. To finalize the color and fabric choices, Elisa even met us at the store on a Sunday morning (usually her day off) a few hours before the store opened. Our living room looks beautiful and is very comfortable. Everyone that comes to visit comments on the great looking furniture and loves the way our condo looks. I am so glad we took advantage of their design service, and even happier that Elisa is so good at what she does.

Natalie Mosher: I can't say enough good things about Creative Classics Furniture. We worked with designer, Elisa, who nailed the scale of furnishings we should purchase for our condo. It was worth the wait of 10 weeks. All the furniture is made in the U.S. As an aside the owner , Scott who we had the pleasure of meeting one Sunday afternoon in the store, offered a chair from the warehouse while waiting for our furniture to arrive...of course we took him up on the offer! Great staff, local family owned and operated. A real treasure in Alexandria VA.

Joost Santos: Yes, the furniture here are expensive, but as someone (like me) who does research first, the prices in this store are lower compared to online stores. The quality is superb! You can easily tell a cheap furniture from other places to the high-quality ones you would find in this store. Customer service is excellent. I like the fact that the staff don't follow you around persistently -- they would just let you take your time. If you ask questions, they would give you the best answer without even overly-pressuring you to buy (unlike other commission-based stores). I bought a Copeland bed in this store last year and it has even gotten better after a year (the wood stain matures beautifully over time). Nonetheless, there's a downside to visiting the store in person -- you would literally salivate at the sight of the fine furniture on display. Oh I almost forgot to mention the muscular delivery guy (can't remember his name). When I first saw him I thought to myself -- if this guy wrestles with me, I would get defeated in less than a second so I will minimally interact with him. But I found out that he's super nice and I also learned that he is the son of the owner. Let us support this local family business. Indeed, they are truly deserving of a 5-star rating.

Gary Berman: This is the second time I have used CC for installation of closet systems. My first experience was stellar leading to using them again. My second experience was not. Not only was the design poor and inefficient, it cost me more money because more wood was needed than necessary. The installer was sloppy in the installation. CC rebuilt part of my closet system because they agreed on the poor design and poor quality installation - good for them. But their redesign did not entirely fix the problem. Still there is a section of the closet needing repair and the re-installer was not prepared to fix it on site, so now they have to come back for a third time causing us to remove everything from the closet again. My recommendation is to study the plans and ask more questions than I did. My designer, Colleen Cuff, was newer to CC and that should have been a red flag. Lastly, CC did not refund me the amount of money that was wasted in the original design which they estimate was about $370 out of $8,000. Service: Cabinet construction & installation

Wendy Patten: I used this company to install wall to wall bookshelves. I wanted something that we aesthetic but could really handle all my books. The designer did a great job meeting with us to review our needs and what we wanted. She kept flexible and submitted several options. We chose our favorite option. Carol Weiss: California Closets designed and installed a home office — wraparound desk with shelving, drawers, special inside cabinet for printer, etc. The designer did an excellent job translating my vision into a highly detailed concept drawing that fit some tricky dimensions including a window on one side of the desk. The designer provided options and guidance for materials and colors, and ensured the design was exactly what we wanted. Installation was meticulously carried out; the two techs were extremely professional and everything fit perfectly. They also thoroughly cleaned up poop afterwards. Kendra Bacchus: The design process with Reza was great. My needs were taken into consideration 99% of the time. I knew what I wanted prior to meeting which made the process smooth. Once I signed off on design and made a deposit I waited roughly 3 months….which was expected in the height of the pandemic. When the installers arrived- the process took an entire day( was expected) the installer Franklin worked efficiently and communicated well when an issue would arise. At the end of the build Franklin walked me through the builds (Main closet and Laundry room). I was very pleased with the work executed. Later on after the installers left- my husband noticed that we were not able to access the water or electrical in Laundry room if an emergency were to occur-I promptly notified my designer and he said it was missed during the install and was in the original design. I also realized I could use a few more shelves in my main closet so I was able to order additional. It took a few months for the shelves to come in as well as the update to the missed opening for the laundry room. The shelves were not the right size and the opening that was cut was vey shotty. The new installer was able to cut shelves on site ( not the best quality) and the hole that was cut in order for us to access the water for washing machine was a mess… the integrity of the unit was compromised and I was told I could lose an entire shelf of storage. So…..waited a few more months a supervisor inspected the unit in laundry room, was told that the entire side needed to be replaced. Fast forward to a few more months….Installer came in tried to repair hole by using drywall caulk and blue painters tape. Not happy and I was told that they will be ordering a new panel …..still waiting. I paid for all services 100% (1 year of waiting for correction). Although I was extremely pleased with the overall install- my experience has deteriorated with how the small mistake has turned into uncertainty of the quality of my laundry room build. My designer Rena was excellent and the initial installer Franklin did an impeccable job with both the main closet and laundry room, so sad that a small miss made such a huge impact on overall service. Trish H: I will be a customer for life! I ordered a bedroom set and from start to finish it was a smooth process. The price was very reasonable and the furniture I wanted was in stock. The prices are clearly listed in the showroom - no gimmicks like Ashley where it’s marked up and then on fake sale. Gil was a true professional, it was clear he knew the business inside and out. He even came in on his day off to process my order.

Ellen Singer: I do not recommend buying anything from Belfort Furniture. I had a very negative experience with them and will make sure to communicate this through all of my social media platforms. I purchased a very expensive pair of matching wood credenzas from them and dealt with both sales folks and customer service folks over the course of a year and a half, and the final result is that I have 2 mismatched pieces of furniture (see photo of the 2 credenzas side by side with different finishes). Not only did the salesperson misrepresent the product, but the customer service folks wasted my time and theirs, and never addressed the issue that I purchased 2 matching pieces and yet they don't match. Belfort's customer service department provides lip service only. Once this company has your money, and they make sure to take a lot of it up front, they don't really do anything to make sure that the customer is satisfied with the purchase. I am amazed that they have stayed in business so long with such poor customer relations. Update 2/6/2022. As a result of this bad review, someone from Belfort contacted me and Offered a 25% refund on the furniture or a return for a full refund. I therefore revise this review because I finally got the company to make good. Belfort has a nice selection of good quality furniture. If you have a problem with a purchase , they will eventually make good - you have to be persistent.

Laura S: Buyer Beware!! Go somewhere else. I bought bedroom furniture from the show room. After about 3 months only the bed, dresser, and chest were available. As soon as the delivery man came to my house, he asked me to look at it. What came was a bright white bed and the dresser and chest were correct, with distressed white bottom and gray top. The bed hardware is silver and the dresser bronze. So it is very obvious these don’t match. When I called about the bed replacement I was told I owed extra $240. I called the manager, John. He told me the fine print on the Receipt says Belfort is not responsible for anything!! I was told they could split the cost and I’d pay $116. This is all Belfort’s fault. The store should not charge extra. This was their mistake. I went to the store and pointed out the matching set I wanted! I I have never been treated with such poor customer service and I had my whole house furnished with them. I am done. There are many other furniture stores. Avoid Belfort!!

Chad Craner: If only Belfort knew how to provide good customer care, and fix some simply broken processes. We ordered a leather love seat and two club chairs from Belfort. Our sales experience was fantastic, excellent service, quick responses to questions and scheduled delivery within a few days of placing the order. Unfortunately that's where the good part of the story ends. Upon delivery we noticed the back on one of the chairs was loose, it wasn't stable like the other chair. This particular chair has zippers on the bottom that allow access to see the frame. After flipping the chair over and taking a look inside, the (particle board) frame was broken on both side of the chair back. I mean broken completely across the width of the back brace. Contacted Belfort and was told a replacement would be provided but that the chairs were back-ordered.. Given the slowness in the furniture industry we expected some delay, it took weeks to get a replacement, and upon delivery of the new chair, exact same issue, broken back, in the same spot as thee first chair. Contacted Belfort again, was told they would send a repairman out, that they were aware of and knew how to fix this issue. This was on March 10, repairman finally made it out on April 6. Repairman say, oh I have to take pictures and provide a report back to Belfort and get authorization to fix the chair, then I'll have to come back and take the chair so I can fix it in my shop. Well, I already provided pictures, Belfort said they authorized repair of the chair, but now we wait some more. Sad that just a simply update to Belfort's processes could fix this issue, how hard is it to tell the repairman that he is authorized to fix the issue on his first visit? Amateur at best. Proceed with caution, and have lots and lots of patience.

Elizabeth T.: We ordered a couch in January 2021 and were told it would take 10-12 weeks to arrive; it was not ready until September (over seven months later). We did not receive any updates from Heidi, our salesperson, until we called to request information after the first 12 weeks had passed. Every time we reached out to Heidi for an update, we were told the couch would be ready in 4 more weeks. Heidi had promised us free delivery because of the continuous delays about halfway through the wait time. Just before the couch was ready, we moved two hours away. We called Heidi and asked if the free delivery would be honored even with our farther address and she assured us that the couch would be delivered to our new address at no charge when ready. When we finally were notified that the couch was ready to be delivered, Belfort told us delivery would be $599 despite Heidi's promise. We spoke with her manager who told us that there was no way they would honor the free delivery. We took a few days to figure out how to pick up the couch ourselves, and that window of time was the ONLY instance that Heidi reached out to us throughout the whole process. Clearly she was impatient to get her commission on the sale now that it had arrived in the warehouse. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your furniture, because I assume all of Belfort's employees are like Heidi: they are helpful in the store but disappear after your piece is ordered, do not provide any updates on the timeline, make false promises, and then harass you to pick up your item ASAP when it is ready several months later than expected.

Annette Landers: Belfort has wonderful salespeople who are informative and we'll educated on the furniture they sell. From beginning to end our experience was pleasant and exceptional. I love my new dining room set and six chairs.

Lauren Doll: Ordered from belfort in the past (2019) and had a lovely experience. Ordered a chair 2 months ago and have had a very different experience. Store and staff were lovely, we ordered an armchair, and we were told it would come end of April. I absolutely understand that there are supply chain issues everywhere, but when i order from a trusted vendor, I expect them to be able to track their stock and communicate and explain any changes in timeline. When end of April came and no update, we checked in and they said now end of May. When end of May came, we checked in and they said it would come that week. Now week later we called back and they are saying end of June, with no explanation of what happened or confidence that this won’t keep happening. Now we have had an empty living room for a month and a half (we cleared everything out based on their original estimate) and don’t know if we should cancel the order or just keep waiting. I’ve ordered two other couches from other stores in the past 12 months and haven’t had these issues. Don’t think I would order from them again.

Phyllis Cerne: I did find a power rocker/recliner that I loved. Problem there is no delivery to Ocean City, MD. You do have an independent delivery company but they were charging $600. That would be half the cost of the chair. Totally unacceptable.

Elaine Taylor: I came into the store the morning of 9/6/21 and was greeted by Beverly McKinley. I hadn't really planned to purchase but I did find some chairs that fit what I was looking for. She was a wonderful help explaining the custom fabric choices, gave me very clear info on prices and just a pleasant, non-pushy person to deal with. I ended up returning to the store later that afternoon to look at more fabrics. Beverly, along with color specialist Camila, were again both just great to work with. I purchased 2 chairs and 2 cubes/ottomans. This was my first time shopping at Havertys but based on this experience I definitely will again.

I’m just so thrilled with every aspect of the process because of the excellent customer service I received.

Preeth Gowdar: Our experience with Mattress Warehouse, and specifically Brenda, was excellent. Brenda took a great deal of time to educate my wife and I, who were complete novices with regards to mattress buying. Brenda even stayed well past the closing time to continue working with us on a possible purchase. Her knowledge of mattresses seems very thorough, particularly from her own experiences, and she was fair in her opinions (not trying to overtly push any product). She was at the end looking to make a sale happen but she made sure we got a very good deal. Brenda seems to us to be an extremely sincere salesperson. My wife and I are extremely glad we stopped at this Mattress Warehouse and found Brenda.

Laila Linares: Our experience was amazing today with the store manager Brenda and her staff! I called ahead to understand what kind of frames were available in the store and was greeted very warmly. I offered to come into the store and the in-person experience was just as welcoming and helpful. M H: After multiple failed attempts at buying a mattress, the amazing Brenda and Mattress Warehouse saved the day. I had been sleeping on non-supportive mattresses, and I was apprehensive about having to make another large purchase that might not pan out. Brenda put me at ease immediately and was very helpful. She showed me the top three choices for firm mattresses, patiently explained their differences, and facilitated my trying out the mattresses. Brenda also showed great empathy and interest in my priorities for a mattress. She was instrumental in applying a discount that had just passed. She also, as a courtesy, took off additional costs when she found out my ideal price range. I did not feel pressure to purchase immediately and in fact left to go to another mattress store in Silver Spring (and searched online) only to return to this one, believing that I had found the most compatible mattress and for the best possible price point. Brenda told me that I wouldn't find such a great mattress (that I clearly loved) at that price point, and she was right! Brenda is a consummate professional, and has a warm, fun energy that made the experience extra special and stress-free. Jill Burdick-Zupancic: We had a wonderful experience with Eric and the team at BPK. Eric reviewed pictures and measurements of our row home to see how we could make our kitchen space more functional while updating finishes. We quickly learned that we were limited with converting the space we had, but with Eric’s vision, we moved forward with moving the kitchen from a short wall to a long wall on the same floor, resulting in exactly what we wanted and a totally new look – open concept, large island, and functional cabinet space. Eric was patient and detail-oriented during the design process, making sure we went into demo knowing what to expect with the final result. Leading up to demo we decided to use BPK’s suggested construction crew; I’m so happy we did. Luis and his team were wonderful to work with. Everything was by the books (permits, no cutting corners, clear change orders) and while the project did last longer than planned, this was due to delays in appliances and materials and not due to an overfull construction schedule. This project was a significant undertaking, and I’m so thrilled with our space. I will absolutely hire Eric and team again when we are ready to start our next big project, and I’ve already recommended them to friends who have projects on their radars. David Cooper: If you are looking to get your kitchen remodeled, Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is the company to use! From the initial visit when we described what we had in mind, everyone at Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel was incredible. They took a significant amount of time to explain the process, work through the specifics of the design with us, and help us be comfortable with the investment we were making. Marissa was outstanding throughout the design process. Once we settled on the design, we worked with Eric to quickly get the contract signed and they started the work as scheduled. Eric made the contract process easy. The people that came in and did the work were professional and very competent. The workers always cleaned up the house each evening when they were finished for the day. The company also was very quick to come by and supervise the work being done. Any minor changes were quickly handled by the supervisor. When we asked them to change some outlets for us that were not specifically in the contract, they quickly agreed. We are completely satisfied with the work that Bath Plus did on our kitchen. We are looking forward to getting a couple half-baths remodeled in the future and we will only call Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel to do the work. If you have a remodeling job that you want completed professionally, in a timely manner, with great people coordinating and doing the work, then Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is who you need to contact.

Khanh Truong: Bath + Kitchen recently helped remodel my whole condo and did an amazing job. Jen Brewer: I recommend Bath + Kitchen without any reservation for any bathroom remodeling project. My detailed assessment: Quality: Their work quality is top-notch. The team did an extremely professional job, down to each detail; they recommended material that balanced high quality with the price points I wanted to stay within. The tile-work was especially well-done: I had ordered hand-made tiles that were naturally a bit uneven and thus more difficult to place. Yet they did a fabulous job- it simply looks great. Timeliness: Their timeliness was impressive. While they had to start a week later than originally planned, that was only because one of the fixtures had not yet arrived, and it did not make sense to tear up my old bathroom on the original date planned, then have to wait another week for the part to arrive. I thought that was a considerate and smart decision, and it wasn't their fault that shipping was delayed. Once they got started, they finished ahead of schedule, even coming in some Saturdays to work the project. And they showed up exactly on time every single day-- arriving at exactly 9 am and departing at 6 pm. Very predictable and professional Guidance through Product Choice: This is where Eric Shipe, the design consultant, was particularly helpful! I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but Eric helped me visualize a few minor adjustments that made my vision even better, all while honoring and keeping to what I wanted to achieve (for me, opening the space up as much as possible and creating a "modern coastal" look). Value for the Money Spent: Worth every dollar. They are experts and you get what you pay for. Also, there are no hidden or additional costs; they are completely transparent in conversation and in the contract. Overall assessment: Bath + Kitchen was VERY easy to work with from start to finish. Elizabeth Snape: We purchased a large area rug online that turned out to be too large for our living room. We called several carpet companies asking if they would cut and rebind the rug to fit the space. Because we had not purchased the rug from them, they were nit interested in the work. Ayoub was happy to do it and they did an excellent job. Their workmen moved heavy pieces of furniture to remove the rug and to put it back down. They were extremely careful and conscientious. Donnie Luchetti: For an American-Made furniture company, they really do not care about their employees. They provide no air conditioning in 90 degree weather, try to pressure older workers to quit, and pay terrible (around $9/hr in most cases). The owner of the company could treat his employees better and be more in tune with what goes on on the factory floor. He doesn't care about his employees family life, and many have been fired because they had to leave a couple of days for family emergencies. This is because no sick or vacation time is offered. For anybody actually considering buying furniture from this company, factor in how terrible they treat their employees, and realize that unhappy employees aren't going to put in the best work when creating furniture.

Our search of employee records does not show you were ever employed by Sherrill Furniture Company. I believe we may have employed your mother, Yolanda, for about three years. We are troubled by this review because it seems to really misrepresent true facts. Buddy Sherrill and his son, Charles, put our people first and offer competitive rates of pay coupled with some of the best insurance benefits in the area. During the recent and uncertain times with the COVID-19 pandemic, Sherrill Furniture extended continuous pay to our employees for eight weeks from April through the end of May 2020. Two of these weeks were at 48 regular hours and the other six week were at 40 hours, no matter how many hours were physically worked. It is true that we have several departments, to include the cushion plant, that are not climatized but have continued to look for solutions make our working environments as comfortable as possible during the hot and cold months. Our base minimum hiring rate hasn’t been below $10/hr for a few years. Currently we offer 4 paid holidays and two weeks of vacation to our employees for the week of July 4th and the week of Christmas each year. Sherrill Furniture has a very generous health plan and a free on-site clinic. We also paid up to 80 hours of emergency COVID pay until the vaccine was made available for our employees. We have so many great people working here that are proud of the craftsmanship This doesn’t sound like the company you are so erroneously describing.

Yong Hindy: Purchased both a sectional and ottoman through a Sherrill partner. Sectional has been great and feel as if its high quality and will last for a very long time. Both Sectional and Ottoman took roughly 12-13 weeks to be received. We refused the Ottoman but accepted the Sectional. Ottoman received was not correct and we've been waiting for 7 weeks now, going on an additional 4-5 weeks until its fixed. I feel that Sherrill has placed no priority in customer satisfaction. In total it'll be nearly 6 months to receive the correct Ottoman. Contacted Sherrill customer support to be told the replacement pieces have been shipped, ground shipping via UPS. In my opinion, Sherrill should eat the costs and upgrade shipping from the base "ground". As stated above, no priority over Customer satisfaction. Make us wait longer. Partner has fault here as well and I'll be making a similar review to them. Great quality based on the Sectional. However lacking in making things right/best as possible in times of error. I'd recommend if you have issues, contact both your Furniture store and Sherrill directly.

Karen Heiser: We recently purchased a large sectional with an ottoman. The ottoman came on wheels with no brakes (we were not given another option). The ottoman cannot attach to the section to keep it in place nor can the rollers be locked in place. Within the first 2 days we had 3 slips/near falls due to the ottoman rolling out from under the person. Currently we have the rollers duct-taped to avoid falls. This is a MAJOR, unacceptable safety hazard, especially for families with young children or elderly, in an expensive piece of furniture. When I contacted the decorator, she said it was designed to be on carpet. However, we had the same problem on carpet. The decorator offered to change the legs and indicated it "shouldn't cost too much." I believe this is a defective design that should be fixed and potentially reported to Consumer Product Safety.

Alex Da Wolfe: I never leave reviews but had to this time. Hired to this company by arch staffing and got fired three days after I started working because I couldn’t commit to the hours. Nobody told me I was supposed to stay till 3:30 they told me that my last day at 2:20 that Monday through Thursday we stay till 3:30. How was I supposed to know when the bell rings at 2:30 and everyone in my unit left at 2:30 so I did and no one said anything. They asked me to stay till 3:30 and I did yesterday. Then they fire me? It’s not right they do not treat people fairly. I barely had instructions on anything to begin with. I worked hard did everything I was told and got fired because I didn’t stay till 2:30 because no one told me I had to stay till 3:30. Don’t recommend.
Response: Dear Alex, Thank you for sharing. We strive to effectively communicate all work schedules for each department at the interview and during placement. It is true that everyone was dismissed at 2:30 pm on Monday, due to our supervisor having a death in the family. However, our communicated work schedule is 6 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 6 am until 2:30 pm on Friday. We also work every other Saturday from 6 am until 10 am. Any exceptions to this schedule are communicated directly to employees by the supervisor.

Its a joy to work for a company that has focus on enriching its employees lives thru a Positive work environment , Great Pay, and Exceptional benefits. Its a place where you can have a rewarding career not just another job.

Patricia Luis: I have a set of living room sofas that I Love! I bought it in 1991 and have enjoyed it to the max! They are still in good condition and the material has lasted all these years! I highly recommend this brand! The quality, comfort and beauty is wonderful! Very very well made!

Rob: Purchased a custom made sectional sofa. It took 12 weeks to make and finally delivered in January, 2016. We began to notice that 4 cushions were losing its elasticity; to the point of squashing made the piping trim touch! I have always purchased any protection plan especially after spending $8500. This " UNITERS " policy allowed me to have them come out on a spot we could not get off. Thankfully, the repairman did a great job on the spot albeit the 4 sofa cushions were still an issue. You don't spend that kind of money and not receive prime merchandise! Baer's Furniture in Boca Raton sold us this custom sofa. I contacted them about the cushions and was placated with Gus the repairman. Gus looked at the cushions and agreed they should not be in a practical flat cushion. He went back to his superiors and I get told my "protection policy" does not cover cushion elasticity. So, by now I am livid with both Baer's Customer Service and Sherrill Furniture. This was reported the first week of May, 2017. 2 3/4 months later, Sherrill Furniture in Hickory, N. C. states my warranty is over, but I could "buy" spring loaded inserts for $320 a piece! I cannot get them as a good faith effort to even replace the foam cushion inserts. Nice furniture company, huh? To date, both Baer's Customer Service Manager and Sherrill can offer nothing but useless words. Needless to say, I do not recommend a Sherrill Furniture product to anyone, and if Baer's can't bring a frequent client some happiness, not a person I know will shop there. We shall see. Stand by for an update! Rob Hawkins Florida Update: contacted Sherrill Furniture after useless Baers Furniture tried to ding me for $1200 to replace poor cushions. Their VP at Sherril took very good care and shipped me better cushions for FREE! Baer’s got PO that the manufacture took care of me without them. That’s ok, I would never buy anything from Baer’s ever again. Shop elsewhere.

linarmin: Ordered two sofas from Sherrill and while the foundation may be okay the upholstery looked amateurish, bargain basement covering and not what one would expect. The welting was thick as were the throw pillows not what was expected, could get better throw pillows at Home Goods. This is not what was expected from a high end sofa at 3,000 dollars a sofa and it was shorter than what was expected. When I called Sherrill's customer service the response I got was that they just sell it to the vendor and when I asked if they take responsibility for their workmanship......the phone went dead......no response. This is not what one would expect from a company that has a history of quality. Next time I order a sofa I will consider one made in CALIFORNIA and NOT FROM NORTH CAROLINA. I was looking for a quality American made sofa with a guarantee of its workmanship and I did not receive that consideration I got a dropped phone call. I sincerely hope the vendor and the rep from Sherrill makes this right. Would not offer even one star based on the rudeness from customer service. I had bought a pair before and the pillows had feathers poking you all the time and the down crushed so bad the cushion was flat had to have them recovered and re- cushioned as well much better than the original upholstery job. Not much fabric selection as well. I would find another sofa company there must be more than Sherrill in America. So much for made in America. Sherrill has seven brands so big-- no wonder one can't get any satisfaction there isn't a need to satisfy a customer why try to get satisfaction from such a BIG BRAND no wonder they have lost their quality and customer satisfaction no need for a guarantee. Their brands - Lillian August, Modern Living, Precedent,Mr and Mrs. Howard, Whitmore Sherrill, Motion Craft, HIckory White .
