GCDC Grilled Cheese Bar: what do users think?

Sabrina P: After visiting DC for the sites and everything and decided to visit GCDC for dinner. I must say, this place did not disappoint. The young lady who was there came to our table as she noticed we were a little confused on a couple of things and she explained the ordering and assured us she could help us order. We placed our order and waited for less than 10 minutes our food arrived at our table. Yay! Extra gooey and delish. The tomato soup complimented our sandwiches very well. Thank the entire staff for a pleasant eating experience and oh, make sure we can tip. We had cash and of course we show extra appreciation by tipping.

Kendra Mack: Delicious food! We enjoyed everything we ordered here from the California grill to the Parmesan chicken grill to the macaroni and cheese. Yum! The place is really small so not much seating inside, but they do have outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Eat here if you have a chance!

Alexis Lehman (skyebyrd): amazing food ! i sat at the bar and the bartender was so incredible. all I got was water and she refilled it like 5 times I was so grateful because it is HOT out! I heard her chat to some other patrons about alcoholic drinks and they all sounded amazing, and all the other patrons had nothing but praise for their drinks. I got the young american grilled cheese and it was just what I needed. a wonderful time!

Michael Kisner: Nice new place for a REALLY GOOD quick bite and some cocktails. Sat outside with the wife after the Cherry Blossom festival. Just 20 minute walk from the Tidal Basin. The Reuben was great with a huge pickle. Washed it down with a Guiness. Wife jad the same with pinot grigio. Delicious!!

Claire Mizutani: The food was good and prepared quickly. There was a bit of confusion on my end when ordering because even though you can dine in we were supposed to order online.

By Goree: Omg the calzone is huge!!! Great taste...customer service was average. Would help if they had a sign tho order at the bar for late night. Great pizza. Would definitely reccomend and go again.

Sadhana G: Went to this beautiful place for brunch on a Sunday. The food was a whole new level of excitement! Presentation and quality of the food and the good ambience set the right tone for the weekend. But the only setback was the price. We had an Egg frittata, chicken and waffles and Egg Benedict-crab ( the chef special) and it cost us 70$. A great place to grab finger food in a cute setting !

Garner Marshall: Excellent breakfast spot. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking is pretty scarce around the area. Staff is excellent. Good is delicious. Music is diverse. Location is convenient. This is going to be one of my new favorite breakfast spots.

Mariia Sarlayan: Wonderful food, amazing service, beautiful interior, pleasant vibe. A bit pricey for brunch but worth it. I wish more tables outside had umbrellas for shades but even then the experience was memorable.

Linden Yee: Solid brunch, overall recommend. The eggs on the benedict were pretty undercooked but the flavors were good, and the chicken and waffles were really well seasoned. Service was pretty slow, and the staff seemed to be up against a lot. While the waiter was great, they appeared to be the only one working the entire restaurant.

Khadija Khan: The restaurant has changed a lot since the last time I was here! Really friendly staff and nice ambiance! My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly French toast with the jalapeño honey! It’s an Interesting combo but I really liked it. Our server recommended a really yummy mocktail! The food was a little pricey so I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again any time soon, but the dishes were innovative and delicious.

Lisa Mayberry: Cute little place for brunch out of the way in a hotel down New Hampshire Street. Outside patio seating is nice for a cool day with the umbrella up.

Sticky Fingers Diner: what do users think?

Alyssa Miron: I get overwhelmed when I find a vegan place with this many amazing options. The chick’n tenders were so good paired with a salad, and I took home some tofu “egg salad”. I’ll be back for a Buffalo chick’n wrap and all the pastries. This place is a gem!!! Very attentive service too.

Harmony Hitchner: The food came out looking like an ad! Beautiful, but according to the family it was just as tasty as it looked! I didn’t get a pic of other food because it was gone before I knew it. The service was beyond amazing! Very sweet , and very helpful staff. I just wished they had more allergy friendly food. But overall, would absolutely bring friends and family back to eat there!!

Zack Bloom: This place is unbelievable. The perogie are so good! The poutine was also shockingly great. Don’t miss the Chocolate Egg Cream (no real egg involved of course, it’s all vegan!).

L Ram: Can we please get a Fare Well in Atlanta! I’m so thankful I had several vegan options when visiting D.C., I knew after reading reviews I had to visit Fare Well and I’m so glad I did Very small but charming diner serving breakfast all day (Wednesday – Sunday), they also have a bar for people interested in adult beverages. Saturday and Sunday they have a brunch menu. I visited late Sunday around 3pm and there was not wait but it was pretty full inside. I was dining solo and unfortunately couldn’t try too many items, I definitely wanted to try the Buffalo Cauliflower ($12) and it was SO GOOD! I cleaned the bowl and really wish I had this recipe. Its spicy whipped cashew and cauliflower dip served with soy and sheet free tortilla chips. For my entrée I ordered Chilaquiles ($13). It was very filling and a large portion, I couldn’t finish my dish. I loved all of the ingredients and thought it was flavorful but did add some hot sauce since I like my food to have a little spice. The Chilaquiles included tofu scramble, black beans, poblanos, roasted tomato rojo sauce and cilantro crema served with roasted potatoes. I also added avocado ($3). Service was okay, my food was served with a smile which I appreciate.

Vikram Singh: One of the best vegan spots in DC. I had the Perogies with sweet potato poutine and Oreo milkshake. Everything was delicious! I’m just sad it took me this long to get here.

Ted's Bulletin: what do users think?

Arash Tavakoli: I had one of my best dining experiences in this place. The breakfast is easily enough for two people. The staff are super welcoming. Try their tarts and that tastes like heaven. Been very happy with the pancakes and hey they bring you a whole container of coffee. I also really liked that when we ordered one breakfast for two, they put it in two different plates. Thoughtful! So enjoy!

Calvin Thumma: My wife and I went here after a recommendation from a co-worker of mine. The area we are from has a number very good bistro and brunch locations but this meal blew them out of the water. My French toast was by far the best I’ve ever had, the bacon was crisp, potatoes were perfect and the eggs yummy. My wife’s meal was equally delicious, she order eggs, potatoes, toast and sausage. Nicole was our server and made sure every was perfect and never left our drinks get close to empty

Paul LaVigne: Enjoyed the bakery treats we had the other day so much we came back for brunch. Be sure to call ahead for reservations as this is a very busy place with longer wait times. The food was excellent. I do recommend you come and enjoy this place when you’re in town

Jessica Zheng: Pretty good brunch location! For drinks, we just got a caramel iced coffee and a vanilla milkshake. Coffee was okay, didn’t really taste the caramel flavor at all. For our meals- I got the Big Mark Breakfast. The sausage was very tasty but the eggs and hash brown were pretty bland, I ended up using dipping them in ketchup. Boyfriend got the salmon toast, that was surprisingly tasty! I was just weirded about eating raw salmon as my first meal of the day but it caught me by surprise!

Tilak Kalaria: Absolutely spectacular dining experience at Tex’s Bulletin for brunch. Service was awesome in this spot with a great ambience and location in DC. The food was excellent too so much to choose from. Their avacado toast has such great attention to detail. The S’mores tart was special! To better enhance our awesome experience someone kind patron paid for my party of 5’s brunch!! Highly recommend Ted’s!!

Fiorella Hidalgo: Went to get the special cherry blossom dessert during the Cherry Blossom Festival! Smoked Salmon Benedict is one of the best I ever had before! (I like it better than Kramer’s!). It took a while to get seated on a Sunday morning, so try to make a reservation in advance!

Hannah: Okay. I’m excited to review this place as an avid brunch food lover. To begin: we were told that the wait time was 40mjn and given a buzzer. Great. No problem, totally understand. To be fair, we hadn’t made reservations that morning. We wait 50min. They then tell us to wait another 30 minutes. My pregnant and hungry friend got it changed to 20min. Still. Once inside, the vibes were great. Our server was fast and attentive. Huge food portions and cute decor. Definitely not worth the weird waiting times, but will definitely make reservations next time!

Jacob Grice: Breakfast was awesome!!! Staff was super nice, restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was uplifting and calming at the same time. Food was very good and filling , you must try the cheese cake!! Defiantly will be back again!!

RPM Italian: what do users think?

Sandeep Wilkhu: Excellent experienceWe sat in the bar because we did not have reservations. But our waitress Addison was so very excellent she made it an excellent experience. I would go back to the bar seating.

Charli Knows How To Eat: A very good friend of mine treated me to this very fancy dining experience. It was so amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for special events or celebrations. It is quite expensive however the service is great and the food is even better. I convinced my date that I’d like my own steak however I did not know they give you such large portions which is a first to see in a upscale restaurant like this. Nonetheless it was so tender and evenly cooked I ate every single piece !

raymond burgos: The service and hospitality are on par with the best in the world with amiable and capable staff. The presentation and food are excellent. The decor is well-suited to a high-end establishment and will make you break into a smile as soon as you walk in. The portions are good, not more significant portions - this is a tasting restaurant. Quality over quantity!

Des KF: My boyfriend and I had reservations for this restaurant for my birthday. When we arrived we walked in and was greeted by the hostess and she sat us. The tables were super close to one another which was the only downfall. Tim was our waiter and he was so nice and attentive. We started with drinks and I got the Spritz and Giggles, it was weak but it was tasty. For my entrée I got the king crab with squid ink pasta and that was good. My boyfriend got the shrimp scampi pasta and he really enjoyed it. Tim gave us a cheesecake because we waited for a while to get drinks and that was so nice and it was so tasty. I also slid in that it was my birthday and he gave me a small, cute dessert to sing happy birthday. I really enjoyed my time, the ambiance was great and so was the food and service.

Lin Dinh: dim, upbeat ambiance with upscale cocktails— perfect spot for a bourgeois night out. plates were tapas size but the perfect portions. the mushroom pizza was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. the short ribs were also superb. love it here!

MADDART: It was my first time dining here. I ordered a New York strip which was about 16 ounces.(a lot bigger than I expected from an upscale restaurant. It was cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor. The server was a bit forgetful about a couple requests I had made for pepper and silverware. I had to ask several times. Other than that the setting was great and I enjoyed my time there.

H. Ibdah: Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. We went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The waiter was theatrically impressive. The food was outstanding. We tried many dishes, I only took a photo of the main courses. I highly recommend the octopus for a starter. For the main we had the lobster pasta, meatballs, steak and side dishes. Great for romantic dinners and for outing with friends.

john Dickerson: Reservation required, proof of covid vaccination with ID valet available $20. Service was outstanding John was our waiter, and he did a great job everything was swift and on time. The food was delicious, for appetizers we Truffled Garlic Bread Parmigiano-reggiano, 1/2 dozen half Shell oyster, truffle and parmesan cheese pizza, Big Eye Tuna Bruschetta Basil Aioli garlic toast, the main was Lobster Fra DiavolobCalabrian chili & tomato and Short Rib Bolognese Pappardelle, Rosemary. For dessert we had Tiramisu Whipped mascarpone & coffee.

Imani: The decor was nice. We liked our dishes but were not a fan of how soft the meatballs were. The plates were also small. We started off with a spritz for our drinks but sent it back because it was very sweet. We ordered a Paloma instead which was very delicious. The reasons for the star decrease was the hostess. We asked if we could move our table and she tried to explain the seating arrangements but made a condescending remark by saying “does that make sense” with a slight attitude which was very noticeable by the both of us.

Pizzeria Paradiso: what do users think?

David Wilson: Nice cozy place. Lighting and atmosphere just right. Restrooms very clean. Waitstaff friendly and attentive. The pizzas very tasty and not salty. The two drinks we had at the end where very good.

Rosie N.: Casual dining, lots of great options to choose from. Some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Made fresh to order and service was on point.

Ann Morse: I may have a new favorite pizza! Macellaio with pork sausage and pepperoni hit all the savory buttons for a cold winter’s night. Primi of chicken wings and meatballs. Feeling warm now, also thanks to the very kind staff!

Steven Cheng: I had dinner with my partner here a few weeks ago during our visit to DC. The pizzas we ordered had great balance and what really stood out was how nice the crust was! Light and crispy. This is something that is pretty hit and miss at a lot of pizza restaurants. The beer many was also extensive, which added to the positive experience.

Alejandra Becerra: The pizza is delicious, the dough is tiny, is so good, this are the special and 4 cheese. The service can improve.

Karla De Los Santos: Nice place, good & fresh pizza. We had the Margherita and the Napoletana

C: Excellent pizza paradiso! We visited on 5/29 and were given a contact tracing paper to fill out for dining in. I thought it was a great idea and felt safer eating here knowing if someone tested positive and reported back, then we could be notified. The pizza came out hot and shortly after we ordered. Way better flavor than usual chain pizzas and not too salty like most. Would recommend to others and will be back in the future.

Karoline Melo: The pizza is great as well as the beers. So sad that they have closed the store in Alexandria, but when I have a chance I always go to the ones in DC.

Bacio Pizzeria: what do users think?

Rebecca Wolf: I love Bacio so much. I used to come here with a whole crew of vegan runners after a long run and we were so deeply taken care of at this neighborhood gem. I just ordered a delivery order for margarita with light vegan cheese and heavy sauce and they so beautifully made me a little pie with love and GARLIC. Bacio is the pizza place for pizza lovers alike! Vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters. They take special care and exude hometown vibes.

Aurora Williams: Truly the best pizza in DC. The right amount of sauce, a lovely crunch, and great topping options... I feel very lucky to live so close. They definitely cater to take away, but the dine in experience is perfectly lovely as well.

Ormond Derrick: I got the large 1 topping pizza with ham. A good pizza and sure it would have been better with some more toppings but I thought it was alright for what I got and the price. Definitely will be back to try their speciality pizzas because they smelled amazing and my roommate enjoyed here. I will say their deserts are PHENOMENAL. I got the Carmel something, (forget the name as it was 2 days ago) but it’s like a flan cake. Probably one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. Friend got the tiramisu and was equally impressed. Amazing desert spot

Lissa H: The calzone was delicious! The dough was fresh and baked to perfection while the inside was full of wonderful melted cheese and fillings. You could tell it was a neighborhood favorite as the staff greeted customers by name. Highly recommend trying it.

Cathy Hermanson: Visiting from Cape Cod, MA everything was delicious pizza, salad, sautéed Brussels sprouts, cheese sticks. The service was outstanding and lastly ice cream for dessert. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Caleb Goddard: Great pizza. I definitely recommend ordering a pizza from the menu, rather than choosing toppings on your own. I also recommend getting a large versus a small - the taste is better as the crust, toppings and sauce are distributed better. I recommend the Shaw and the Bloomingdale. Excellent pizzas!!

Joe Brophy: A delicious pizza place I chose for my birthday dinner... and was not disappointed. As vegetarians we had the Crispus Attucks and the No. 81 and they were both amazing. A cozy and comfy vibe and good service also made us feel very at home. We will be back!

Rise Bakery: what do users think?

Dumdi B.: I’m always on the hunt for good treats that are both gluten and dairy free. I was so happy to find Rise Bakery! My favorite was the vegan double chocolate cupcake and the vegan cookies and cream cupcake. Both went really well with unsweetened almond milk. Such a nice treat for date night. Thank you for the existence of this place!

Sadie Vogt: Absolutely delicious! In town for work so I had to stop here and try their gluten free options! Recommend to every gluten free person in DC who has a sweet tooth!!

Peregrine Sky: Cute, unfortunately no dine in at this time, progressive bakery. Lots of options for all kinds of dietary restrictions, soy, nut, dairy and all gluten free. 18th Street sandwich was amazing! These are certainly the best gluten free pastries I’ve ever had but they are still not delicious like normal pastries!

JT Mitchell: Both the Oreo cupcake and the apple fritter were pretty good. Both are also vegan. I’d say I like the fritter better. Had some good bite to it. The cupcake was tasty. Pretty solid.

Anna L: Very very happy with my experience at rise. Got the 18th street sandwich - delicious bread with arugula, herbed Mayo, bacon, and tomato. I also got a cherry turnover that was amazing. Yet to try the cheddar jalapeño loaf and the strawberry cheesecake but they look great. Can’t wait to come back another time.

Danielle Somers: Hands down best GF bakery in the DMV. All of their baked goods are incredible and their customer service is excellent. We had our wedding cake made there and everyone sung their praises. Worth the trip!

LP: Cute little gluten free shop with additional egg nut and soy free options. First gluten free spot I’ve tried that is moist and flavorful. Yum! I got the raspberry danish.

Pi Pizzeria: what do users think?

Eric Meyer Music: Last night in DC and pizza was on our RADAR screen. Pi Pizza was close walking distance to our hotel so we gave it a try. Very glad we did. Friendly waitstaff had us seated and sipping very good Margaritas while looking the menu over. Nice atmosphere and bar looked like it would be a good place to be. They were out of Garlic Knots, surprising but they do receive high praise in other’s reviews. We opt for the dry rubbed and broiled veggies. These turned out to be a great choice, a nice mix of carrot planks, cauliflower and broccoli crowns all seasoned and charred to perfection and a solid starter for us, really tasty and accompanied by a cooling tzatziki type sauce. We ultimately went with a build your own thin crust pie, with basil pesto, mixed mushrooms and roasted garlic toppings. Wow, after the great veggies, this pizza was full of wonderful flavors. Piping hot with a nice crisp crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese foundation to really let the other toppings shine. A really good pizza and we washed it down with a couple more Margaritas. Highly recommend Pi Pizza if you’re visiting DC and have a hankering for a great pie.

Christopher French: Amazing place. So beautiful inside. The staff is wonderful, friendly, professional, and helpful. The food is delicious with a number of combinations and pizzas where you can build your own. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Adam Busby: Excellent deep dish pizza. Tasted great, service was quick and friendly. Parking is pretty easy to find in a garage or on the street. I have no complaints. Inside is huge and we waited 5 minutes to be seated after they opened on a Friday. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Capital for the day.

Chomar: Excellent service excellent food an excellent happy hour where local craft beers are only $5 an a slice of thin crust pizza is $4.50. Prices are fair an the deep dish Chicago south side pizza is amazing. The environment is clean and the waiters are always friendly an serve you with a smile. I highly recommend.

Randy Cornett: This gluten free crust was fantastic! It has a nice buttery taste with a crisp bottom and soft, chewy inside. Manager and server were super friendly and helpful too! Beyond the crust, we enjoyed the sauce and great toppings on ‘the hill’ pizza.

Pat Eats: Located right next to Capital One Arena, this is a perfect place for a slice before a Caps game. If you’re looking for Chicago Deep Dish in D.C., Pi Pizzeria is top of the list! Follow pat_eats_ on Instagram for more reviews!

Filomena Ristorante: what do users think?

Patrick Young: I loved their Easter decorations! They really went all out and the decorations are more classic too and remind me of better times! Their bread appetizer with olive oil is very tasty and the wait service was impeccable. The waiter misheard my original order, but they quickly corrected it and got me my correct dish. Both of our dishes were delicious and had plenty of sauce. The dessert was scrumptious too! All of these were a reasonable price as well. If you are going out for a date, I highly recommend this place! It’s so far my favorite Italian restaurant in DC!

Jessica Lopez: The restaurant goes all out with seasonal decorations, this time around Easter time. It was a bit strange seeing so many bunnies but at the same time the over decorating is what many Italian grandmas do! Service was decent, not the best. Portions are huge so definitely recommend sharing especially because of the prices. The bread service with the olive oil and spices was delicious, raviolis were great and the eclair was so delicious and creamy, it tasted like profiteroles actually. Definitely recommend coming back.

Laura Ruiz: My husband and me went to Georgetown to celebrate my birthday. We couldn’t make a reservation for dinner, however, we walked in around 3:30 and after a 5 minutes wait we had a table. The experience in this place was unforgettable. It started with three different kinds of homemade bread, follow for fresh appetizers, flavorful entrees, homemade amaretto and finally the best cannoli that we ever had.

Anthony Stewart: Spacious, friendly and really amazing fare. The host was magnanimous and his larger-than-life personality makes one feel welcome and as though the food will be authentically Italian, and the staff do not disappoint. The bread and pesto were brilliant, as were the stuffed mushroom starters. The main courses tasted amazing and arrived at our table in good time, allowing us the opportunity to experience how the meal tasted at all stages of temperature. Really great experience and one that makes one want to return again and again (and I’ll be happy to oblige). Unfortunately, a cupcake bakery not too far away got the better of our appetites before we dined at Filomena, so dessert was not on our menu for the afternoon’s meal, but next time! 5/5 well-deserved stars!

Inma Guerrero: We loved this crazy place. Uber decorated with Christmas things and on the expensive side. The pasta plates are huge, I guess you are supposed to share them and the chocolate cake super decadent. Great service too!

Juan Albarran Marquez: Staff was very friendly , they were able to answer all the questions and also provided some advices or recommendations to get the best combination of protein, veggies , toppings and more. Food is fresh and tasty, the kimchi is vegan so good option for vegetarians or vegans !

Jessica Marie: It was my 1st time visiting and won’t be my last.Staff was great and friendly. They helped guide me on how to order and gave good suggestions based on my likes. Food was great and tasty can’t wait to go back.

Giggy Cash: I will say, I was genuinely shocked on every aspect of this place. I’m from out of town and staying at a hotel near by so I wanted to grab something quick nearby. You get a bang for your buck! First off the design and atmosphere is amazing and has a nice vibe. The staff will definitely compliment that with great customer service and recommendations. Indoors is unfortunately closed, but the seating outside is open and refreshing to eat there and relax.

Marcelina Suchocka: This is an excellent, healthy, and inexpensive meal option for people of all diets! Really recommend 10/10

Rabi Choudhury: Chipotle style spot for Korean food. Very decent food. I edited it my review from 4 star to 5 star - my issue was their meat portions were small, but these guys gotta make money too (and not lose it), so I get it. If you want extra portions you will have to order a double serving of it. Honestly a good spot.

Candice Ryan-Supples: Absolutely loved this place. The spicy pork was melt in your mouth good. The kimchi was crunchy and perfect. The toppings were fresh and there are so many options. I loved everything about it and could eat here all day everyday.

Monica Scott: We were visiting the area and wanted to try something new. The staff were so friendly and patient with us. The dining area was very clean. The food was absolutely delicious!! Wish we had one where we live!

John Wick: Ordered online & picked up. Food was amazing!

Lebanese Taverna: what do users think?

Victor Wang: Ordered a taverna platter with shawarma (lamb) and it was a lovely combination of rice, salad, lamb, and hummus. The free bread is beautiful and light/fluffy. Prices are reasonable and plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We even were able to stay until after closing to just chat.

julee wooley: The hommus and Baba Ghannouge were excellent! I had a favorite in Chicago and now I’ve finally found one as great here in Silver Spring Maryland. The pick your platter was the perfect option for me, it was about three meals worth of food! Very impressed with quality and quantity!

James Bacon: Lebenesse Taverna A lovely restaurant space with a vaulted curved high ceiling, nicely furnished and finished, airy and comfortable. Prompt friendly service follows smoothly, but with no pressure at all. (We were awaiting a 4th person who we ultimately did take away for - this was neither an issue or problem, and demonstrates a dynamic approach to customer service from Mustafa our server) The humus with lamb shawarma, baba ganoush and the arnabeet; cauliflower chickpeas, tahini and pine nuts starters was delicious and with hot pitta and oil a substantial starter. The chicken shawarma sandwich with salad was delicious, the chicken was marinated and in a lovely sauce. The chicken curry was mild but flavoursome, while the lamb and artichoke stew had a lovely fruity hint to it, and proved the unusual but very tasty surprise. To end they kindly brought us the baklava without ice-cream as we could just about share it. Loved this service. Excitingly they were hot, and very delicious. We will return here for sure.

Anna Barrett: Good food, good service. They have hand washing station right outside the bathroom, which works well during the pandemic. Their lamb was very tasty

Tara McGee: Fabulous food, excellent service and atmosphere. I particularly recommend the Chef’s Platter and the Spicy Hummus. Yum!

Amanda: Thank you to Noor, my server. A great host, and friendly, who gave several recommendations to this traveler. The food was hot, delicious, and served within an appropriate time. The environment was clean and comfortable, the aesthetic dim and romantic, with just a dash of swank. Open, but not too open as to be left out in space. Cozy but not on top of one another where you have to keep your voice low - still enough privacy between tables. Bathrooms were clean and modern. A nice glass of wine, baklava, and a chance to try Ouzo were wonderful surprises. Thank you Lebanese Taverna.

BRWND Butter: Can never go wrong with some good tasty pho with a side of crab meat rolls. This weather lately definitely calls for some nice traditional pho. Follow us on IG for more food pics: @BrwndButter

Anne Becker: We ordered take out today but were able to dine in with a group of 7 people, some of them visually impaired. Food was delicious. Staff is super friendly and ready to assist in any way they can. Highly recommend the place!

Elaf Al: The best pho and banhi mi in the city. Great quality food. My go-tos are the crispy chicken banhi mi and build your own beef bone broth pho bowl with eye of round x2, mushrooms, and salt and pepper tofu. I’m obsessed with the broth and sometimes just order a cup as well :)

Joe Nicol: eat here at least once a week, the banh mi is unmatched, so many options for vegans/vegetarian without compromising taste or quality in the slightest — my favorite quick dinner spot in the neighborhood

Vidhi K M: I love this place. By far one of the best banh mi sandwiches I’ve had. They have other Vietnamese food. The place is nice and the food is reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend going here.

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.

Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…

Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.

Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.

Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.

Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍

Sonya Williams (Wildflowers and Hooyahs): Made a thirty min trip to try this location and it was def worth it. The waitress, Phoenix, was phenomenal! We also loved all of our food. The Mediterranean burger with lamb was such great combination of flavors. We shared the pancakes and French toast because our six year old couldn’t finish it. We had plenty of leftovers. My husband ordered the egg and cheddar burger and said it was pretty good. I loved the art and the vibe of the place. We arrived around 1030 and there was barely anyone there on Sunday. But literally when we left at 1120, the entire building seemed packed to capacity. Glad we came early for brunch! Well, three locations down and plenty more to try. This chain has a reputation of having great quality food, drinks, art, books and id family friendly. But could be great for a group of friends or lover.

Fahad Aqeel: I really enjoyed my meal here. The service was great and the place had nice vibes. Wish they could have bottomless coffee for breakfast though, and not keep paying $4 for a fresh cup.

Sahar Bayounis: This was without a doubt THE best chicken panini I ever tried. Hands down. It was so juicy and tender, unlike other panini sandwiches where the bread is so tough and dry. The chicken is mixed with chipotle sauce that’s just heavenly. 🤤 I highly highly recommend trying it whenever you visit Busboy and Poets. Also, get some sweet potato fries on the side instead of regular French fries. It’s very difficult to cook the perfect sweet potato fries and get them so crispy. This place knew how to cook them!!! Unfortunately there was no poetry when I came this Friday, but I’m definitely giving it another try in the future. ♥️

Tina Marbury: My group is visiting from Ohio for a conference. The restaurant is pleasingly eclectic in its decor. The atmosphere was quaint. The server was pleasant and smile with authenticity as she assisted the three of us. The food was served hot and was pleasing plated. The taste of the good was amazing. The seasoning of the catfish, greens and cheddar and jalapeño grits was perfect. I could eat here every day.

Erika L Zamora: Loved this place! 1st time in DC and heard this was a great place to eat and shop for books. They were right! Staff was friendly and the energy was Perfect. I had the cheeseburger and some nachos- both were delicious. I tried the cauliflower bites and was pleasantly surprised! I asked our waitress what drink she recommended since I liked sweet drinks. She brought over a DC water and I ended up having 3. Bought some postcards, stickers, a jigsaw puzzle and a book. Would definitely visit again!

Destinee Douglas: This was a really nice place ! As you wait too can check out their book store . Had so many different wonderful and colorful books. We sat at the bar so we wouldn’t have to wait . We had ebony as our waitress. She was very sweet . As you can see in the photos there are two pics of soup. Norge the same ( wild rice vegetable soup) but one is a cup and one is a bowl! If you get the bowl you’ll likely be full before you even get your entree. But the soup was delicious and flavorful ! I definitely recommend that. Then I ordered the shrimp and grits ! Absolutely delicious. & I love how they has asparagus in it . Never had shrimp and grits with that in it. The shrimp were big & it was a nice portion . My friend got the chicken and shrimp pasta . It was kind of spicy but good as well! We both ordered their orange Juice too and you definitely want to because it’s really fresh. It gets made right in front of your eyes with a machine they have at the bar . Literally squeezes the oranges 😆 My cousin ordered a burger . Didn’t get a chance to take a pic but it was good . Last but not least we topped it off with their desert . A banana pudding I think with ice cream. It was good 😩 we were stuffed ! Lol

Peter Schwarzenbach: Good spot for a cozy breakfast. Prices are a bit steeper than expected but friendly wait staff and prompt courteous attention was always offered. My eggs where a tad overcooked but by no means bad. Would recommend for a unique and tasty experience

Aditi Rajvanshi: This place has amazing fresh food available at an affordable price. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well! Would definitely recommend if you love flavorful breakfast.

Fiola Mare: what do users think?

Richard Holst: Elegant and delicious. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant has many quiet and corners with the perfect atmosphere. It is well organized and very clean, every inch has amazing details. The food and drink selection is extensive and everything we had was prepared to perfection. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area. We will be back here often.

Dario Camilo Barros Viñas: 5 stars for real in every aspect. It has both a very fancy area indoor and a fancy yet relaxed area in the patio. The service was amazing, the food was superb, the cocktails were delicious and generous. Canver the manager was very kind and served us the calamari complementary make us feel even better served! I didn’t know the Branzino taste this good until I tried it here. We were only two so we couldn’t try more plates but do yourself a favor and try Fiola Mare!

Christopher Gillespie: All about the dining experience here, they go above and beyond. Did the bottomless brunch with amazing views. Brunch at this level of execution will be very tough to match. The blue fin ahi could be best bites of 2022 to date. The scallop crudo was melt in the mouth. Worth the price of admission.

Pe Lin (Cilibluebird): A five star seafood restaurant that deserves the five star. Great for special events minimum 50 USD per per person, but well deserved. Hakan was our server and he made this experience exceptional. Pasta’s are excellent. Georgetown next to water. Outside seating is great in the evenings of hot summers.

Roz Manning: Fabulous venue for our intimate wedding dinner with family. The Mermaid Room and adjoining patio were perfect. The appetizers were delicious, dinner was delectable and service superb.

Mike: Easter brunch was amazing. Staff, as always, is fantastic.Intro: watercress soup and the other dish white asparagus.Mains: blue crab omelette and Australian lamb.Glad to see that a packed restaurant. Make reservations!

Tash M: Had a private dinner here and it was an exceptional experience. The food was lovely, so was the service. Special thanks to Darina for being so attentive and providing an especially memorable experience.

Sweet Crimes Gluten-Free Bakery: what do users think?

Haleigh Eppler: This store front is cute and has a very trendy but cozy vibe inside. The service was great and everyone was very willing to answer our questions. All allergen information is clearly indicated on the menu to allow for easy ordering. We had the ham and cheese sandwich and a chili brownie. The ham and cheese sandwich was delicious with cheese on the bread and in the sandwich. The chili brownie wasn’t super spicy but had a good kick in the after taste. The vegan members of our party enjoyed pumpkin bread and a chocolate donut.

Christiane West: We ordered a lemon sheet cake for my daughter’s confirmation and it was hands down the best gluten free cake we have had. And we have been gluten free for 10 years now and have tried many places in the DC metro area. Keri if very easy to work with and her shop has lots of fun options beyond the cakes!!

Allison Nielsen: Normally, I wouldn’t gravitate towards a gluten free bakery, but we decided to get some Christmas cookies here and they were amazing! Really soft (my favorite type of cookie) and the service was so friendly here. The bakery is really small so there’s not a ton of room for sitting, its more of a grab and go situation. I am glad to see things are still going well and that people are loving this spot. I’d love to return for breakfast one day!

Elliott Wooster: I had a really good cheese and egg biscuit, a latte and I couldn’t NOT get the donut. This place is amazing. All of the food I and my partner had was incredible and the coffee was brilliant too. But THE DONUTS. They were AMAZING. They sold out whilst I was sat here (10:30 on a Sunday) so make sure to get here early! The person at the counter said they’re still very new and figuring out how fast things will sell. Cannot recommend enough. This was all delicious.

Kate Cope: Visited this bakery for the first time on Sunday am - I didn’t catch the names of the staff but both were SO kind and welcoming. I had my two little ones with me & they let them taste a couple of extra treats :) The food was all incredible and the vibe/atmosphere is just great. I would highly recommend this bakery to not just those with a gluten sensitivity or allergy, but to anyone who enjoys delicious baked goods and kind employees. Definitely will visit again!!

John Palmer: Great gluten free bakery and cafe. A little pricy but the cupcakes and pastries are wonderful

&pizza - Hotel Hive: what do users think?

Stephanie Corte: I LOVE &pizza so much ever since I tried them for the first time back in 2015. Every time I visit DC, I have to eat there a couple of times at least. It’s always so well-made with great ingredients. I downloaded the new app just this week and was super excited to get a discount. The quality and service has always been fantastic at their various locations.

ty: Eaten here 3 times. Each time has been absolutely great. Their pizzas are really good and most importantly, really cheap for what you get! They have a lot of options to customize your pizza and I love how they don’t try to tack on a whole bunch of extra charges if you want a lot of one item. Would recommend!

A. Smith Williams: Look at my yummy &Pizza. Location: GWU at Foggy Bottom. I ordered &pizza with extra sauce, extra cheese, extra pepperoni and topped with garlic oil…yummy!!!!! I was very impressed!!! My first visit to a location In Arlington, VA was NOT impressive; I picked up my order after an online order. It was not good…not enough cheese, pepperoni, nor sauce. ADVICE: Place your order in-store only and watch your pizza being custom made! Yummy!!!!

Donna Carroll: Excellent Flatbread pizzas. All fresh ingredients. Must try when in DC

Moises Arias: Great customer service, attention to detail on how I requested my pizza to be made!! Definitely coming again

Joel Rhine: I love &pizza. I love it because the people are very friendly and because Dro gave a $5 pizza today just cos he felt like it. He also offered a soda for free. Also the lady who was finishing up my pizza called me honey. If everyone was like the people at &pizza we’d have world peace.
