Duccini's Pizza: what do users think?

Nathan Johnson: Although Jumbo Slice is by far not my favorite pizza type, this was very good. Quality pizza 🍕 and ingredients. Quintessential experience while in DC. Best option on 18th.
Response: Thank you so much Nathan Johnson for taking the time to leave an excellent review. We really appreciate your business. Please let us know what we can do for you in the future.

J CM: Loved it! Simple and great pizza, thin crsipy under crust, great salsa and cheese.Only downside is that is small place, bit dirty looking.

Ntazia Brittingham: This is my favorite pizza place in DC!! The jumbo slices (as pictured) are huge and filling, and so delicious!

Zack Wilson: My husband and I stopped by at 2 am on a Saturday night, and we were really pleased by the medium pizza we ordered. It was fresh, took just 10 minutes or so, and it was yummy. Look forward to returning!

Julian Hines: One of the best jumbo slices in DC if not THE best. Haven't had one person I recommend here tell me otherwise, the pizza is good as hell and has been consistently good pre covid, throughout and post. Does not disappoint

Daniel Nealy: My girlfriend and I visited DC a few weeks ago. After quite a long walk looking for a good pizza shop we found Duccini's. The order of fries was huge, and the pizza was absolutely delicious! We will definitely return the next time we're in the district!

Olivia Bailey: I dont usually write reviews for places but this place has come in clutch for me so many times, delivery is always so fast and the food is hot when it gets here (I don't use door dash/uber eats simply because of the added fees) i always make sure to tip well ofc. Prices of carry out in DC are high. I can get a pizza, some wings and a 2 liter for a little over 20 dollars before tip. Pizza is always tasty, wings are good, food is solid, no complaints, delivery staff is always friendly

jason givens: I was in DC from Mechanicsville Virginia for the Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard,Poison and Joan Jett stadium tour. After the show before hitting the road to head back home we decided to grab a pizza while still in DC. Did a quick Google search and Duccinis Pizza had popped up with really great reviews as well so we decided to give them a try. So glad that we did because the meat pizza that we had was perfect. It was loaded with meats of all different types fresh cheese, and really good dough. We had literally ate a large pizza minus two slices before we even got out of DC lol. So if you or in the DC area and want a good pizza give Duccini's a try.

Joey Shepard: I've ordered from them a few times, though the last time I ordered, they called well after the order went through to say they were canceling because I live too far away. I live well within the 3 miles posted on the website and were happy to deliver before. The staff was very rude when I asked about this. I'd steer clear of them and their nonsense if I were you.

Simona Mark: Very useful that they’re open so late and what a treat that it’s also very delicious

Timber Pizza Company: what do users think?

Mischa: This is a very cute little place that serves mainly Argentinian-style empanadas, pizza, coffee, beer, and more. On weekends they open from 8am to 1pm, then they reopen again at 5pm. Unfortunately (as of this writing at least), they only serve breakfast empanadas and no pizza during the first opening. So you have to come back after 5pm if you want pizza or pork empanadas. Another downside is that there are three empanadas in each order, and they all have to be the same kind, so you cannot get one squash empanada and one pork empanada. Other than that, all else was good!

Onyinyechi A: Came by here because I was looking for some good pre π day pizza and they didn't disappoint. I did the half Bentley half pepperoni. Had some pork empanadas and ended it with a la mode vanilla gelato and a cookie. Everything was amazing. Staff was awesome 5 out of 5

Brie W.: Okay. Listen here. This place is WONDERFUL. I’ve never had a pizza this good. It’s really inexpensive for such high quality food and we have plans to bring family here when they visit from out of state. It’s interior is tiny but SOOO cute. We will be coming back to this place again. The sweet bar tender was very knowledgeable as well so don’t be afraid to ask questions. The whole staff seems to care about you and it feels really welcoming.

R N: Excellent pizza! The dough is amazing very fluffy and light. The outside seating was very rustic and the vibe as real! The staff was very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!

Michael Roosa: Amazing window seat with awesome empanadas, Penelope pizza, and a nice cold iPa. Couldn't get much better. Another satisfied customer :-)

Amber Anderson: One of my favorite spots! The Bentley pie is my go-to, but the pies are on the smaller side so it's fun to get a couple pies to mix it up (and have leftovers for a day or two). For brunch, get the veggie, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich with hot honey for dipping. The biscuits are basically dripping with butter and that's how it should be.

C J.: Great pizza, you can customize a pizza to be more vegetarian-friendly, but I’m not sure have many mods are allowed! It can get busy, so prepare for a wait, but pizza comes out fast and hot!! Call before to make sure they're still open if you come on Monday or Tuesday!! Love it

Aminah Imani: They don’t do slices. So I didn’t eat pizza, I didn’t want to waste food. I saw plenty of ppl with take out boxes. So come extra hungry if you want pizza. The bar is a cool spot. I only came here because I was in the area.

Remo Molino: Awesome pizza and amazing salad. All fresh ingredients. Thin crust. Wood fired oven. Local spring mix salad with fresh radishes and peas. All healthy and amazing taste. Two picnic tables inside and two outside. Lots of take out. Order takeout online or call. Wine, beer and gelato dessert. Restaurant is super clean as is the unisex restroom. All employees are quiet and super efficient. They have a good system here.

Christopher Hyde: -Food was good.-Soda’s were warm-Rude bartender: I asked for a cup and he said no. Then gave everyone at the bar cups for their beer. I had to use this super small medal cup for water.

DC Pizza: what do users think?

Ylenez: I loved the easy approach to order. You could either make your own pizza highlighting each option, or you could choose from the recommended ones. My pizza tasted delicious! And you can add little things later like oregano, parmesan, sauces, garlic, etc... Very friendly staff 😀
Response: Hi Ylenez! Thanks so much for the great review. We truly appreciate you letting us know how we are doing. I will make sure to share this with the staff. Lisa

Brady Chimenti: The ordering process was convenient (fill out a paper with pizza and toppings). We were greeted by a kind gentleman named Abraham. He was very helpful and was one of the kindest and hardworking employees we’ve ever met. He definitely added to our memorable experience. I noticed the whole restaurant was kept clean. We were also surprised by how quickly the pizza was made (under 10 minutes). For a family of five, we ordered one large pesto chicken pizza and one large Hawaiian pizza. After a long day of walking around Washington, D.C, it really hit the spot. Both pizzas were amazing (perfect amount of each topping) and everyone loved them. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a restaurant in the area. Great Pizza, Great Workers, and very reasonable prices!
Response: Thanks Brandy! So glad you enjoyed enjoyed your pizza and your experience at DC Pizza! I will be sure to pass this on to the staff. We really appreciate the feedback! Lisa

Shashank Singhal: Really good pizza, amazing ingredients. Quick and fresh food. They go the extra mile to avoid cross contamination which I rarely see at pizza places.
Response: Thanks so much Shashank! We really appreciate you letting us know how we are doing. :) Lisa

Nick Watts: Needed a quick place for lunch on a hot day. Got to customize my own pizza for a reasonable price and my food was ready in less than three minutes - true to what it said on the box! The food was delicious and they were even giving away free ice cream! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good lunch spot.
Response: Hi Nick! Thanks for the great review! FYI, Free Ice Cream Tuesdays are throughout the Summer from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. Hope to see you again. Lisa

Gabriel Slape: Great build your own pizza with a fixed pricey. Good service, quick and lots of toppings to choose from. Takes just a few minutes to cook. Very delicious. Sit outside and enjoy the nice DC weather while you eat.
Response: Good morning Gabriel! Thanks so much for the wonderful review. We hope to see you again soon. Lisa

Steve Smith: Among the best pizzas my 18 year old vegan twins have had anywhere! They ordered the Veg Me with Vegan Chorizo and they couldn’t believe how good it was… and the proof was that they ate EVERYTHING including the crust which they rarely ever do. Two thumbs way up! We are visiting DC and one of the amazing aspects to this beautiful city are the vegetarian/vegan options and DC pizza is definitely one of them.
Response: That's GREAT Steve! Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know. So glad they enjoyed everything and maybe we will see you again! Lisa

Mark Cowman: I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical. I don't like franchises and I like assembly line franchise even less but this place proves, one again, that I shouldn't be so judgmental. A pretty simple premise. Build your own pizza with a set amount of toppings for a set amount of money. Add extra topping if you wish. If you're not feeling creative, you can also just order a pre-designed pizza. The pizza is a flat crust that gets cooked up and presented to you in just a few minutes. Cans of soda were $1.28, which I'm thinking is pretty reasonable for the area. All in all, I had a drink and a fresh and delicious pizza for under $13. Two 👍👍 for these folks in the world of speedy pizza 🍕
Response: Hi Mark. So glad you enjoyed your pizza at DC Pizza! Thanks for the feedback. We really appreciate it. Lisa

Jessica Martin: YUM!!! Super quick and kind take out experience. Gluten free pizza tastes great and you can tell the ingredients-which are both new and classic-are fresh and plentiful. Prices worth it too, all good all around!
Response: Thanks for the great review Jessica! So glad to hear you enjoyed the gluten free pizza. Lisa

Abraham El-Chafei: Best pizza In town. The customer service is awesome. They have a lot of variety such as different sauces, cheese and toppings. Highly recommend to go to with family or friends.
Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We really appreciate your letting us know how we are doing.

Seandré Spears: Visiting from out of town, and Google sent us here. The pizza was so good and for such a great price! My family and I love thin crust (think New York style), and this pizza but the spot. I'm sure those folks from here know how great the pizza is (the outside dining area was pretty much full when we came to get our pizzas), but for those out-of-towners who see this place in your travels, give it a try.
Response: Thank you Seandre'! This is great to hear! I hope you and your family enjoyed your trip to DC and hope to see you next time. Lisa

Pi Pizzeria: what do users think?

Warman Hall: The group I was with while in Washington DC wanted to try this pizzeria. I'm very glad they did! I only have two options in pizza crust. Well I'm generally more of a fan of Chicago style than thin crust, some in the group had been there recommended the thin crust and I made the right choice. An excellent variety of pizzas and some really good tasting beer choices to go with it! All that and they have a family friendly environment also.

Kelly Lee: Very nice! I went in for happy hour. Bartender/server was nice. Garlic knots were amazing! But the deep dish pizza itself was little disappointing. It lacked flavor and the chunky tomato sauce didn't work well. The dough was very dry too. But other food was great. Speality pizza had a bunch of vegetables in it, if you don't like it you can customize it too.

Eric Meyer Music: Last night in DC and pizza was on our RADAR screen. Pi Pizza was close walking distance to our hotel so we gave it a try. Very glad we did. Friendly waitstaff had us seated and sipping very good Margaritas while looking the menu over. Nice atmosphere and bar looked like it would be a good place to be. They were out of Garlic Knots, surprising but they do receive high praise in other’s reviews. We opt for the dry rubbed and broiled veggies. These turned out to be a great choice, a nice mix of carrot planks, cauliflower and broccoli crowns all seasoned and charred to perfection and a solid starter for us, really tasty and accompanied by a cooling tzatziki type sauce. We ultimately went with a build your own thin crust pie, with basil pesto, mixed mushrooms and roasted garlic toppings. Wow, after the great veggies, this pizza was full of wonderful flavors. Piping hot with a nice crisp crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese foundation to really let the other toppings shine. A really good pizza and we washed it down with a couple more Margaritas. Highly recommend Pi Pizza if you’re visiting DC and have a hankering for a great pie.

Christopher French: Amazing place. So beautiful inside. The staff is wonderful, friendly, professional, and helpful. The food is delicious with a number of combinations and pizzas where you can build your own. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Roman Pope: It's hard to describe the place without sounding pejorative, but it has these old hunter lounge chandeliers, old fast good diner tables with some 18th or older century portraits, brick walls and hip oldies meet new EDM music. Despite all this weird fusion atmosphere, the place is on the charming side. The service is nice and fast, albeit not the most professional at times from the staff that isn't serving you directly. The food is great, and the pizza ingredients are splendid. You can pretty much build anything your mind can ever imagine about what a perfect pizza is to your taste buds. I wouldn't say it's on the pricey side, but be prepared to spend anywhere between 50 to 70$ with everything included for two people. PS The place also does have a kid's crayons and kids cups so it's nice that it thinks of the little ones.

Adam Busby: Excellent deep dish pizza. Tasted great, service was quick and friendly. Parking is pretty easy to find in a garage or on the street. I have no complaints. Inside is huge and we waited 5 minutes to be seated after they opened on a Friday. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Capital for the day.

Kevin Cevallos: Awesome experience all around! Atmosphere, service, food and price were all great. Started with the Garlic knots, which I didn't think were gonna be that out of the ordinary, but man was I wrong. They were baked perfectly and were bursting with cheese. They had an amazing flavor and they were the perfect mix of cheesy, doughy, and crispy. For the main, we had the Western deep dish pizza. Let me just say wow, there was no complaints at all. The dough, sauce, ingredients and crust were all amazing. The crust was crisp and somehow crumbly at the same time, which was awesome. For desert we had the apple pie, which was just as top notch as the whole meal. Everything was awesome and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Chomar: Excellent service excellent food an excellent happy hour where local craft beers are only $5 an a slice of thin crust pizza is $4.50. Prices are fair an the deep dish Chicago south side pizza is amazing. The environment is clean and the waiters are always friendly an serve you with a smile. I highly recommend.

Randy Cornett: This gluten free crust was fantastic! It has a nice buttery taste with a crisp bottom and soft, chewy inside. Manager and server were super friendly and helpful too! Beyond the crust, we enjoyed the sauce and great toppings on ‘the hill’ pizza.

Pat Eats: Located right next to Capital One Arena, this is a perfect place for a slice before a Caps game. If you’re looking for Chicago Deep Dish in D.C., Pi Pizzeria is top of the list! Follow pat_eats_ on Instagram for more reviews!

Stellina Pizzeria: what do users think?

ESB NYC: Excellent pizza, thin center and thick crust, nicely cooked. We had the piccante pizza, spicy sausage, tomato sauce, mozzarella and salami. We shared one, but it’s really an individual sized pizza. If you’re not very hungry, a couple could get by with one or two apps and one pizza. Had a glass of the vermentino, $11. Wasn’t very good. Sharp aftertaste and it was a kinda stingy pour. Otherwise excellent service and pleasant spot. Everyone was working hard and there is a spirit of teamwork. I’d definitely try it again. Oh, one thing that was strange is that if you pay on the toast-tab online feature or app, a 20% gratuity (service charge) is automatically added and can’t be reduced (or increased) and was not disclosed in advance. I didn’t care for that but it’s a relatively minor annoyance (as long as the service remains strong).

Lila West: Phenomenal Italian food! They have been on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list for several years which recognizes good quality and good value cooking all over the world. I have stopped by many times and am never disappointed. Highly recommend their pizza!
Response: Hi Lila, Thank you for the kind review! We are so glad you love Stellina! We hope to see you again soon! Best, Stellina Team

Anthony Dellavecchia: The best Italian food I've had when it comes to price to deliciousness ratio. The pictures don't do it justice, I thought it would be a decent place but it's incredible! Each dish I had was delicious and I wasn't even hungry. First off calamari was so excellent. Perfectly cooked and not overly breaded. Next, the salad with mozzarella, mushrooms, and tomato... so flavorful! The panini with shrimp and eggplant was so tasty and would be great for a refreshing lunch. The squid ink pasta with seafood was nice! Personally I like that with squid ink sauce instead of tomato sauce, but still great! Then, the Paccheri all’Avellinese, my favorite dish of all was really good. The noodles are al dente and the sauce so flavorful. Finally, the pizza... It was amazing. I loved the mozzarella and the dough. Truly great stuff. If I look at each dish and compare it to the best I've had, I wouldn't say each was #1. But when you look at it as a whole, and for the value, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant!

Marisa Sterling-Abram: Pricey but the food is very good. We set outside during a chilly day and the staff was nice to bring a heater next to us. You order everything through an app, so you don't really have a waiter. Though they do charge a 20% service fee. We had the spicy pizza, the cacio e Pepe, and the arancini.

Jean Ng: Twice on Michelin’s guide recommendation, it doesnt disappoint. Our Piccante (house made spicy sausage with salami ans mozza)pizza came briefly after ordering through the online platform. The anchovies on our caesar salad is not fishy at all and tasted fresh with a little tangy that goes well with the creamy dressed lettuce.
Response: Jean, Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review! We are so glad you loved our Piccante pizza, it is definitely a fan favorite! We are so grateful to be recognized on Michelin's guide recommendation and are very grateful for customers like you! We hope to see you again soon! Stellina Team

Makho Shonia: Update: this place was amazing in 2021. Italian music, tasty pizza, European atmosphere. Now it’s mediocre pizzeria with Latin-American music and completely ruined atmosphere. Thank you, Stellina, somehow you managed to downgrade yourself. Old review: Definitely the best Pizza in the USA! Thin crust, real Italian oven, fantastic dough made of real pizza flour. True Italian spirit. It was something!

David Brenton: We ordered take out - overall decent experience - we had the piccante, sausage and peppers, as well as the pork sausage with thyme. The crust on these is very good, super authentic ingredients and good flavors. The Cesar salad and rice balls were delicious. We will go again to try some different pizzas but it’s not your traditional pizza joint. Excited to try some pastas.

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: I was waiting for the day when my schedule allotted me time to go to this spot. I have been wanting to go here for a while now. Other reviews have been done about this pizzeria, so since pizza is my favorite food…It was my turn at bat with this joint!! Located at 399 Morse St., Northeast, Washington DC, in the Union market area you’ll find @stellinapizzeria !! OK let’s go!! This spot has appetizers like their Cuoppo Misto ( fried calamari, shrimp, octopus, potato chips, and lemon $16), and their Aranicini di Riso (rice balls, meat ragu, mozzarella, and tomato sauce $12). Of course they have pizza like their Margherita pie (tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil $15), pastas, panini’s, Lasagne’s, salads, deserts like their Cannoli Siciliani (Ricotta cream, chocolate chips, pistachio $9), and even a myriad of wine selections. On this day I copped their Piccante pie (with tomato sauce, house made sausage, spicy soppressata, salami, ndulja jam, and mozzarella $17), their Parmigiana di Melanzane (eggplant, mozzarella, tomato, parmigiano Reggie no cheese, and basil $26), and their Brasato di Manzo (braised short rib, fontina cheese, and potato croquette $18). The pizza?? STAMP! The crust was crisp, and soft, the sauce had a hint of wine in it, the cheese was melted perfectly, and you tasted the meats freshness. The “Eggplant Parm” absolutely DELICIOUS!! Fresh, a lite density with the cheese, with a sauce that blended everything together for your palate! Lastly the short rib sammich was a STAMP too!! Tender well seasoned rib meat, that mozzarella stick put in the sandwich, the fontina cheese…PERFECTION!! This meal came with house made fries…it was sooo good y’all!! A must have!! Customer series’s decent, outside seating was available, the establishment was clean, online ordering was easy, and parking was so so. You MUST go try this spot!! REALLY…thank me later…get that sammich!! That’s it. #stellinapizzeria #bigschlimsreviews #braisedshortribsandwhich #eggplantparm #pizza #deliciousness #qualityfood #funfood #unionmarket #mozzarellasticks #housemadesausage #freshfriedchips #musthaves #go #thatsit
Response: Larry - It was so good to meet you the other day and I am SO glad you enjoyed everything! Thank you, mille grazie, for taking the time to write such a detailed and complimentary review of us. It was our pleasure, and I truly hope to see you again when life brings you by again. At your service, Nick L. nick@stellinapizzeria.com

Eric Gor: My new favorite restaurant in DC and by far one of the best pizza I've had in the US. If you like European style pizza, this is the place to go. The chef creates authentic Naples style pizza and everything is either house made or locally sourced (including a few of the alcohols). I got the meatball appetizer, the piccante pizza and the donuts for dessert. Everything was outstanding, and the staff was great. Will definitely be back

Paul Meijer: Being from Connecticut, the pizza capital of the world, we have a bit of a different understanding of what pizza is. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of totally different pizzas on their menu. The service is good the food is good and I even bought a bottle of hot oil to go. Especially good was the tiramisu. We liked the restaurant and will be back.

Pizzeria Paradiso: what do users think?

David Wilson: Nice cozy place. Lighting and atmosphere just right. Restrooms very clean. Waitstaff friendly and attentive. The pizzas very tasty and not salty. The two drinks we had at the end where very good.

Rosie N.: Casual dining, lots of great options to choose from. Some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Made fresh to order and service was on point.

Ann Morse: I may have a new favorite pizza! Macellaio with pork sausage and pepperoni hit all the savory buttons for a cold winter’s night. Primi of chicken wings and meatballs. Feeling warm now, also thanks to the very kind staff!

Steven Cheng: I had dinner with my partner here a few weeks ago during our visit to DC. The pizzas we ordered had great balance and what really stood out was how nice the crust was! Light and crispy. This is something that is pretty hit and miss at a lot of pizza restaurants. The beer many was also extensive, which added to the positive experience.

Alejandra Becerra: The pizza is delicious, the dough is tiny, is so good, this are the special and 4 cheese. The service can improve.

Karla De Los Santos: Nice place, good & fresh pizza. We had the Margherita and the Napoletana

C: Excellent pizza paradiso! We visited on 5/29 and were given a contact tracing paper to fill out for dining in. I thought it was a great idea and felt safer eating here knowing if someone tested positive and reported back, then we could be notified. The pizza came out hot and shortly after we ordered. Way better flavor than usual chain pizzas and not too salty like most. Would recommend to others and will be back in the future.

Karoline Melo: The pizza is great as well as the beers. So sad that they have closed the store in Alexandria, but when I have a chance I always go to the ones in DC.

Jim White: I really dislike soggy pizza. Its not appetizing at all. I like my crust dry and preferably a bit crisp. I ate in and had the January special tonight and the crust was sitting in a pool of moisture. The veg had to much moisture, there was too much of it and it had a lot of sauce. When they sliced it, all the liquid ran down and soaked the crust. Every time we grabbed a slice over half the toppings slid off and the center half of the slice sagged straight down. You just can't put a pile of wet veggies on a thin crust neopolitan style. The salad was good but the pizza was very disappointing.

Will Hinchcliff: Pizza was good. Still over priced compared to Italy. 12 in pizza in Italy is only $8 vs $23 here. However, it's D.C. everything is expensive. Server was pretty slow and not attentive, would love to have had another beer. They also charge a 20% dine in service fee, which is steep consider the lack of service. I'm all for service/sitting fees after living in Europe, however I also expect customer service when paying for such services. Overall pizza is good, just need to engage a bit more with your customers.

Bacio Pizzeria: what do users think?

Rebecca Wolf: I love Bacio so much. I used to come here with a whole crew of vegan runners after a long run and we were so deeply taken care of at this neighborhood gem. I just ordered a delivery order for margarita with light vegan cheese and heavy sauce and they so beautifully made me a little pie with love and GARLIC. Bacio is the pizza place for pizza lovers alike! Vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters. They take special care and exude hometown vibes.

Aurora Williams: Truly the best pizza in DC. The right amount of sauce, a lovely crunch, and great topping options... I feel very lucky to live so close. They definitely cater to take away, but the dine in experience is perfectly lovely as well.

Jennifer Truong: Fantastic pizza and service! Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood. Got the Bloomingdale (their most popular) and the Common Good. The Bloomingdale was good, but we preferred the Common Good, which we personalized by adding Italian sausage and pepperoni - delicious! The sauce, the crust, the ingredients - so good! And for dessert, we had the Coppa Three Chocolate Cake - to die for! So creamy and rich, but not overly so.

Christopher Tucker: Oh my Gosh! Delicious pizza sauce, delicious pizza! Just the Margherita with sausage and a small at that. Could've shared a small pizza. Also, got an Arugula salad that was enough for 2 but still yummy. Highly recommend this place, a hidden gem! Service also amazing.

Brett Syndergaard: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Five stars for five yesses. Pizza was phenomenal. Fresh mozz? Yes. Fresh basil? Yes. Delicious crisp prosciutto? Yes. Tangy rich tomate sauce? Yeeeeessssssss!!!! Buy this pizza. Then send your wife back an hour later to get dessert because it's so good. They got a cup of pudding that somehow is the exact taste and texture of Ferrero Rocher. How that work?

Ormond Derrick: I got the large 1 topping pizza with ham. A good pizza and sure it would have been better with some more toppings but I thought it was alright for what I got and the price. Definitely will be back to try their speciality pizzas because they smelled amazing and my roommate enjoyed here. I will say their deserts are PHENOMENAL. I got the Carmel something, (forget the name as it was 2 days ago) but it’s like a flan cake. Probably one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. Friend got the tiramisu and was equally impressed. Amazing desert spot

Lissa H: The calzone was delicious! The dough was fresh and baked to perfection while the inside was full of wonderful melted cheese and fillings. You could tell it was a neighborhood favorite as the staff greeted customers by name. Highly recommend trying it.

Cathy Hermanson: Visiting from Cape Cod, MA everything was delicious pizza, salad, sautéed Brussels sprouts, cheese sticks. The service was outstanding and lastly ice cream for dessert. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Caleb Goddard: Great pizza. I definitely recommend ordering a pizza from the menu, rather than choosing toppings on your own. I also recommend getting a large versus a small - the taste is better as the crust, toppings and sauce are distributed better. I recommend the Shaw and the Bloomingdale. Excellent pizzas!!

Joe Brophy: A delicious pizza place I chose for my birthday dinner... and was not disappointed. As vegetarians we had the Crispus Attucks and the No. 81 and they were both amazing. A cozy and comfy vibe and good service also made us feel very at home. We will be back!

We, The Pizza: what do users think?

Bethsabe Alvarez: Smells so good from outside! The place offers a wide variety of combinations. Salads are included in the menu. 1- Customer service was good, they answered my questions, 😊. 2- Food was very good, I ordered half Ham & Pineapple, half Marketplace (this one I loved it). They offer a homemade sodas, I ordered the Blood Orange... delicious soda 😍. 3- Price per Slice 🍕 $4-$5 I think is over the average. Price for a Medium 14" $21, fair. 4-Place, my table was kinda dancing, I ate outside. Probably it could be better. But inside, the smell and menu presentation was great. For me the 5 star is because the homemade soda and the people who is working there, they're doing a good job. Thank you!

Rena Correia: THE BEST PIZZA!!!! It was SO GOOD!!! I wish I could have eaten more!! Crunchy crust and lots of toppings!! Check out all the different pies in the pictures!! They had everything you could think of! So so good!!!!

Silica st (A violated fox): Pizza was fresh out the oven. It looked really good but the flavor was average. And for 30 bucks I was hoping for more. I feel like a 10 dollar frozen pizza taste better then this one sadly. Wings were tasty so that's a plus

Amy Tucker: This place came highly recommended to us by a friend. We ordered through delivery app after a long day of sight seeing. The pizza was fairly priced. The crust was delicious and the toppings worked really well together. It was so fragrant that when we went to take our first bite our mouths literally began to water. We order the Capitol Supreme, may need to try another before we leave town!

Ha Dong: Really good, freshly made pizza with many toppings to choose from. I love to try all topping if im back in town again. Right by the capitol

mary thomas: OMG some of the BEST pizza i ever had other than my mother's and Nephew [ who learned from his Nana]. Loaded w toppings, tasty dough, does not FLOP over when you pick it up. Perfectly cooked and lots of choices for by the slice purchase. They also have beer and super friendly staff.

Forrest Jackson-Knorr: Pizza is delicious. Delivery is horrible. My pizza was delivered cold and like the photo below. I only live one block from the store but it took delivery person 30 minutes to deliver once he left the restaurant. I would normally walk to the restaurant and pick it up, but I had surgery and wasn’t able. Deliver person had his pants down to his knees. When dealing w the public your employees should look professional. Owner called me to advise me that the manager would make it right. I never heard from the manager. 🤷‍♂️. Just like the manager wouldn’t answer the phone the night the pizza was delivered like in the photo.

Chad Godfirnon: Delicious pizza by the slice or whole pie btons of options including vegan and vegetarian choices. Fast service and inside and outside seating. The Vegan pie was really tasty and flavorful.

Y B: Picked up 3 pizzas: one turned out to come with "nuts". We don't really have a nut allergy but common sense says not to eat metal. Good thing one of the eagle-eyed guest spotted it before anyone broke a tooth or choked on it.

Alex Culver: Best pizza on the world(like others said) or best pizza on the planet! Sat directly in from of window where they were constructing each pizza. Amazing. A must eat!

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: Hold up…this spots cheese pizza won the World Pizza Championship for their cheese pizza in 2021?!? Ok now this is a must try for me!! I am a pizza fanatic, a pizza connoisseur, a pizza head…pizza is my thing!! Let’s see what this places slices are hittin on… Where I am: @andyspizza . Location Reviewed: 2016 9th St., N.W. Washington D.C. (multiple locations) . Menu Includes; Caesar salads, Kale salads, wings, Old Bay fries, Cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage & green peppers, White, Margherita, Mushroom & Onion Pizzas, ice cream Sammies, & Bakes baked goods. . What I reviewed; Cheese slice..STAMP!! Thin, crunchy soft, with Wisconsin mozzarella!! Pepperoni slice..STAMP!! High quality pepperoni that curls when cooked. Sausage & Pepper..DELICIOUS!! Fresh ingredients!! Mushroom & Onions..DELICIOUS!! Different, savory, with no marinara. White Pizza..DELICIOUS!! It had ricotta on it. Margherita Pizza…STAMP!! Plant based with vegan cheese. Nutella stuffed Blondie…DECENT. It was better when I warmed it up at home. . Customer Service: Accommodating, Swift, and Pleasant . Online Navigation: Easy . Parking: Difficult. Street, Metered. . Recommendations: Get the Cheese, Get the Margherita!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=STAMP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=DELICIOUS ⭐️⭐️⭐️=DECENT ⭐️⭐️=PASS ⭐️=NAH #Bigschlimsreviews
Response: Larry passes the vibe check.

Brett Birnberg: Picked up Andy’s after hearing rave reviews from friends across DC. Safe to say it did not disappoint. We started with a kale salad that was delicious as well as the brussel sprouts, then tried the pepperoni and mushroom onion pizza. Both were cooked perfectly with a great sauce and excellent crust. I would highly recommend Andy’s and we will be back soon!
Response: Brett, thank you so much for the review and we're happy to hear you enjoyed your experience! We look forward to seeing you at one of our locations soon.

k J: I'm new to DC and have been looking for good pizza since I got here. I ordered a slice of mushroom and a slice of margherita. The service was fast and the pizza was pretty decent; a little greasy for my taste, but by far the best I've had since being in DC. This place is definitely worth a visit!
Response: Thanks for your review! You can stop the search. We are the best pizza in DC. ;) See you soon!

Shada Trapp: This line was out the door and I see why! Pizza was fresh and huge! The parking is ridiculous but I’m not from this area.
Response: Thanks for the review, Shada! We’re happy you enjoyed and hope to see you again soon.

Justin Magnus: By FAR the best pizza I’ve ever had in DC, by FAR. This could stand toe to toe with the best pies in nyc or anywhere else. Goes to show it doesn’t matter where you’re located, if you’re passionate and dedicated to the craft you can make a great pizza anywhere. Bravo !
Response: Justin, these types of reviews are why we do what we do. Thank you so much for your kind words and we can't wait to open you back with open arms, a delicious slice and a cold beer. See you soon!

dipika: Gorgeous pizzas made atop a perfectly chewy NY style crust. The mushroom & caramelized onion pizza is next level. Prices are high, sure, but so worth the amount of pizza you get compared to other "boutique" places in this city. You can also get their pizza by the slice!
Response: Thanks for the review!

Heidi Liou: Highly recommend the ricotta pizza- this was my favorite. We also got wings and kale salad, all very delicious. Ordered 4 big pizzas for 9 people which was too much but we wanted to have a selection. I was very pleased with their pizza, and would compare it to Joe’s Pizza in NYC! Ok

Javona Campbell: Love them!!! They are everything very professional very nice cordial and its amazing the pizza always makes me and my family happy 😊 I am so appreciative of this pizza establishment hope your future remains successful and bright thanks Andy's pizza down by V st.
Response: Thanks, Javona. We appreciate your kind words and look forward to having you at Andy's again soon!

Ali G: The pizza was ok. The crust was good. I'm a New Yorker looking for a good slice. I got a margarita pie. Next time I'll try a cheese slice. Small take out place.
Response: Hi Ali, we wish your experience could have been better, but appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. The cheese is definitely then fan favorite here.

David Rosenberg: I don't think I'll be ordering from Andy's Pizza again. I ordered delivery through Andy's website, and the pizza took 2 hours to arrive (to their credit the website estimated this as the order was put in). When the pizza arrived it was cold, and the order was wrong. We ordered a cheese pizza, and a slice of white pizza. Instead of a slice of white, we got a slice of cheese. We tried to call the restaurant, but kept getting a busy signal. The pizza itself was almost as bad as the cold kosher pizza I used to eat as a kid. It cold, soggy, salty, and the crust was too tough. Microwaving the pizza helped, but I don't think I'll be ordering from Andy's again. Wiseguy is closer to me and much better.
Response: Hi David, Thanks for letting us know. We won Best Traditional Pizza at the International Pizza Expo and were completely inundated with orders at all of our restaurants that we simply were not prepared for with all the press coming out last Thursday. We certainly do not want you to have an unfavorable opinion of us and know our pizza is a higher standard than you received. Please email happiness@eatandyspizza.com so we can figure out a solution to turn this 1-star review into the 5-star review we know we deserve. Thanks!

Pizzoli's Pizzeria: what do users think?

Christal Young: Came for lunch and tried their veggie pizza with vegan cheese and a few other modifications. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and just overall good! I also had the vegan butter garlic sauce on the side and it really amped up the flavor even more. Pretty pricy but good nevertheless.
Response: Thank you so much

Jae Imj: I went this past Friday night with friends. 2 of us have to do gluten free dining. We were really happy with the pizza and pasta! They even had a personal cutter for my pizza, eliminating cross contamination concerns. Unfortunately no bathrooms for customers but otherwise we didn't have any issues and will be back. Great to have another tasty gluten free dining option!
Response: thank you so much for reviewing us we do have bathroom please next time ask some one show you bathroom

Mike Lyons: Wonderful owner showed us so much hospitality. Fresh salad with homemade dressing. Gluten free dairy free pizza. Outdoor and indoor seating. It’s very informal. Neighborhood pizza joint. They provided a personal pizza cutter to ensure no cross contamination.
Response: Thank you so much

Elizabeth Dou: Stopped by late and grabbed a pizza and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was good but definitely the greasiest pizza I’ve ever had. Food was ready and hot when we picked it up.
Response: Thank you

Eleanor Bokmeyer: Super accommodating to gluten free diners! I was so surprised to know the lengths they took to make sure everything was separate and safe. I can’t wait to dine there again! The owner came out and talked to me and showed a great understanding of the allergy and how important keeping everyone safe was to him. :)
Response: Thank you so much

Chanteé Hale: Went here to grab some Gluten-free stuffed shells, gluten free meatballs, and gf chocolate cake. The gluten free garlic bread was an extra awesome surprise. It was all excellent and didn't trigger any of my very sensitive allergies, so likely great for celiacs too. We sat on the patio to eat and the setting, decore, and shop in general brought me back to places we'd visited in Italy. Highly recommend!
Response: thank you so much

Joshua Roe: This place is extremely underrated. I'm giving 5 stars not because it's the best pizza in DC but it deserves far more than the current rating of 4.1. This is high quality takeout pizza. Crust was perfectly cooked, crunchy, chewy, delicious. Sauce could be a tad more flavorful but overall experience is way more satisfying than Etto or Pupatella. Do not expect gourmet but its very comparable to Pizza Policy IMO.
Response: thank you so much

Daniel Lopez: This place had to be the best pizza place In Washington DC. The price is pretty good for what they device and it’s great. The pizza is fresh, hot, and super tasty. There wings are even better and they deliver and dine so it was perfect for us. Has to be rated easily 10/10.
Response: Thank you so much

Steven Hernandez: Decent pizza... Not the nicest pizza makers I've met, but they were cordial...
Response: Thanks

Lorna Schmid: Great pizza!! Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options! But meat lovers will be happy too. High flavor and very tasty.

My Own Pizza: what do users think?

C F: Delicious pizza! Excited to have them join the neighborhood. Staff was super nice and we enjoyed the pizza. We ordered a half pep/half cheese and it was flavorful. I enjoy thin crust so this was my kind of pizza. They also have salads and a couple different desserts. There is a McDonalds next door if you want to grab a coffee or fountain drink. It's not really a eat indoors place but if it's a nice day you go across the street where there are picnic tables or take the pizza to the National Mall a couple blocks away. I will order again.

Beth Zboran: We were staying just down the street at the Holiday Inn. We needed a quick dinner after a big day of walking around to visit the monuments and museums. The pizza was hot and delicious. There is a small eat in counter and bottled drinks. I can be particular about pizza and this pie was super tasty and satisfying. I highly recommend.

Sanjaya Widodo: We took a while to order but they patiently waited and gave us free pizzas! Customer service was excellent and the pizzas (and dessert) were amazing! 🤤 Highly recommend!!!

King Elk: Awesome DC pizza experience. The food was really good, and so was the service. The guy there was good. Also just a heads up, the title is a bit misleading. You don’t make custom pizzas there, but there is a wide variety of slices to choose from.

Keith Shovlin: Stopped in on a cold, rainy night before I caught the VRE home. The pizza was excellent! Nice crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the perfect amount of pepperoni per slice. Well priced and good, quick service. I’ll be back as I walk past frequently on my way to L’Enfant Plaza and it’s a much better choice than the McDonald’s on the corner.

Silica st (A violated fox): The pizza was provided for free with the promotion they were running the first week before they officially open. But I waited with a few other customers didn't wait long. The pizza was pulled out of the oven cut quickly and gave it to me within 30 seconds. It was a large slice and very tasty.

Grady Wick: Ordered delivery online, included tip on top of delivery charge, and they forgot to include 3 drinks, a slice of cheesecake, and they also gave me the wrong type of salad. Called to see if they could reimburse, but they only offered me credit for a future order (of course, we’re from out of town). Was then told I would get a call from their “boss” but never did. Pizza was decent. Delivery and customer service? Pitiful. Cannot recommend.

Dan L: Sad excuse for a pizzeria, especially after you read their self-description on the website of being an old time pizza shop run by a guy who has all this pizza knowledge. Stayed at the Holiday Inn (5/15/2022) down the street and chose this place so I wasn’t subjected to the hotel restaurant food. Questioning my decision… Seems like they were working off limited ingredients. When I asked them for artichokes on my pizza (ingredient listed in one of their specialty pies), I was told they didn’t have any and was provided a list of only mushrooms, olives and peppers for fresh ingredients. Well, I saw the mushrooms that were put on my pizza and they are 100% canned. With the olives most likely coming from a can as well that leaves the peppers as the only fresh vegetable option available today. The guy who made my pizza had on one plastic glove, but I saw him use the bare hand to put the stray cheese on the pizza that missed the initial application. I also noticed that he kept that same glove on the whole time I was there, even after ringing up customers, climbing a stool to pull down pizza boxes and making other orders. As for the taste of the pizza…. Meh. Sauce is salty, almost like they cook it first and it’s over-reduced. The pizza also could have used a few more minutes in the oven, it was floppy to say the least. The most offensive part of the whole thing is that a single pizza costs 30 bucks. I would recommend other options if staying in this area of DC.

Steven Parks: Unassuming pizza joint was the perfect spot to grab a bite. Small tour with 9 teens and 3 adults needed lunch on a Sunday, and My Own Pizza did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

Jennifer Cole: Outside of New York City, this is hands down the best pizza! The pizza just melted in my mouth. The ingredients are all fresh and the owner, manager, and his employees give fast and friendly service. Please make a stop at this establishment if you are in the DC area.

Saritha Athmakur: Aaah! This place was a mood! We went during the happy hour. Great food, great place. Both the “Standard “ pizza and the mushroom onion pizza was so yum. The best part is the crust. And for apps we ordered the cauliflower. I don’t want to eat cauliflower in any other way now 😂

Taylor Rafter: Stopped today for a birthday brunch. We've never been here before so I checked out the menu online ahead of time and I made reservations ahead of time.... The menu is not 🚫 up to date. The bottomless options are limited to mimosas 🥂 and spritzers for 90mins. The pizza 🍕 was good. The blt + e was great on focaccia bread 🍞. The Nutella banana bread was tasty. The cold brew was more bitter than expected, just my opinion I like fru fru coffee so I added milk and sugar. The staff was great 👍 our server was so sweet and brought out a birthday doughnut 🍩 with a candle, how CUTE?! Overall a good spot for brunch, I was only slightly disappointed in the bottomless drink options in comparison to the online menu. It is also in a great walking area, head to the DC Alley Art Museum to explore.

Philip Gordon: All Purpose has some of the best pizza I have ever had. Ingredients are fresh and authentic. Portions are just the right size. The personal pizzas are 12" pies but turn out closer to 14". The crusts are just right and thin on the bottom. The menu offers plenty of different options. Most guests seem to just order to go. If you are dining in there is a 20% gratuity automatically included with your order just so you are aware. Pizzas can be eaten in one sitting if you are extra hungry. You can also take pieces home. The pies reheat well.
Response: Hi Philip! Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're so happy to be on your list of best pizza!!! See you again soon.

Wade McManus: We had dinner here a month back while visiting dc and found ourselves talking about it again last night while experiencing bad service somewhere else in our hometown. I cannot recommend enough coming to A.P. and sitting at the bar to order food. Our bartender, Alex, was a clear fan favorite as everyone enjoyed his service - he had excellent suggestions, always topped off a drink before we even noticed it half full, and was the number one best thing about our dinner experience. The pizza, drinks, and tiramisu were great, don’t get me wrong, but we have since told all dc friends to visit this spot because of its superior service, and we’re still talking about it today. You just don’t get that kind of service everyday.
Response: Thank you for your review, Wade! We're so happy to be a part of your trip to DC. Hopefully, we'll see you again soon!

Mahdi Shirvin: There pizza was absolutely awesome.I will Eggplant dish made with skin off. 😕The waiters were nice and professional. The restaurant add 20% services fee to all checks.

Jimmy Matthews: Had a great experience here during restaurant week. Made reservations for Friday evening, the gentleman who took our reservation talked through seating options to maximize social distancing to ease my COVID anxiety. When we walked in, everyone’s vax cards were checked & the gentleman remembered us and we were seated early. Our waiter, Nick, was very attentive and patient as we asked questions about the food and beverage choices. He provided great dinner recommendations! Our party of 3 had Brussel sprouts, chicken parm arancini, and 3 different types of pizzas: delica-ssata, sedgewick, & tripper. All fabulous recommendations, tripper and sedgewick were our favorite. Pizzas cooked to perfection and delicious crust! Had the tiramisu for dessert and a few glasses of wine along the way. Stayed a while and enjoyed the lively atmosphere & service. Adding it to a favorite spot among so many good options in DC!

Bex Yukman: Fabulous experience from the moment I walked by at the end of a conference day. Prompt, attentive, and friendly staff asked immediately whether I wanted my water sparkling. When I ordered without any customizations, Jeb nonetheless verified I had no allergies. And no exaggeration - the pizza was the best of my life! Grateful.

Chris De Hoyos: Sunday brunch… we are not even done being here yet and this place is AAHHHMAZING! We had Baked Eggs ‘Toscana’, Buona Pizza and the Double Stuffed Fried Mozz to start.. let’s not even talk about the ‘Bottomless Mimosas’ which were never empty. Then top it all off the Roman ‘Maritozzi’ for a little piece of dessert heaven. We sat at the bar and the service was more than exceptional, great music in the background as well. If visiting like we are.. you must stop in! Hell if you live here you need to frequent!

Thais Pansani: Nice atmosphere. A little bit expensive (20 dollars a pizza), but the pizza is really good, worths the visit. The bread with garlic butter is amazing!

Food Enthusiast: Best pizza I have had in DC! The vibe inside the restaurant is also very nice and cozy! The food was ready very quickly and the waiter was very nice to us! Will definitely come back for pizza!
Response: Thank you for coming in! Can't wait to have you back again!

Emmy Squared Pizza: Shaw - Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Karla Villalobos: Wow! First time here and food and service was great! Cameron welcomed us with top notch service and attention, and made great recommendations. Ordered the Colony pizza and it was hot, cheesy, and the sauce was tangy. Banana pudding was rich in flavor. Definitely coming back to try the MVP pizza and others.

Eb G: Hostess was very friendly! A little pricey but food was good. Pizza was not hot considering the long wait time. Table layout not set for multiple people. Not overly crowded so we put food on the table next to us. Deep dish square pizza. Red sauce and white pizza options. Blender was down so couldn't order frozen margaritas.

Autumn: Hands down some of the best pizza I've had in my life. The crust is soft and fluffy and the sauces are so flavorful. It's a must have.

BRWND Butter: Is it just me, or does pizza taste better in a square? @emmysquaredpizza taps into the nostalgia of square public school pizza - but elevates the flavors. The bread sticks were mouthwateringly delicious, and the pizza left me wanting more! We stopped by the location in Navy Yard (walking distance from the baseball stadium) IG: @BrwndButter

Miah D: Get the cheesy bread sticks! Our waitress was new and she did an amazing job. She made the recommendation for the bread sticks *chefs kiss* Took about 15 mins to get our food. You can either share the pizza or get your own (100% get your own) Update: tried to go back again 6/13 because it was too good but they are closed on Monday lol I’ll be back very soon

Robert Cardoni: Food - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service- ⭐️ Service was inattentive , slow and disinterested - dining room wasn’t very busy but staff seemed to always have something else to do other than check on us. Food was amazing - light buttery dough with great balance of cheese and sauce. We had the MVP - Marinara, vodka and pesto sauces.
Response: Thank you for your review. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your meal! We truly strive to make every visit to Emmy Squared - Shaw equally wonderful, and we are sorry that you left with an unfavorable impression. We do hope you will choose to visit us again.

Expression Tees: If I could give 10 stars I would. I've been twice in one week (don't judge me y'all). So far I've had the Colony and Roni Supreme pizzas. The crust. The sauce. The heat. The sweet. Just good y'all. I also tried the fried pizza crust with the butter cream dipping sauce dessert (what did I say, no judging) I ran into the manager while picking up my to-go order today and she noticed that I didn't receive my 20% off and adjusted my order - I thought that was nice of her. You can also support their back-to-drive and help kids with getting needed school supplies. How thoughtful. I highly recommend this spot when you're in the Shaw neighborhood. Or just go, it's worth it.

Clayton Meyer: One of the best places to eat pizza in DC. This is not your average pizza place, and it is definitely high quality. Every time I have ordered Emmy Squared, the quality has been consistent the food has been tasty. The pizza is Detroit style, so it's deep dish and the thick crust resembles focaccia. I nearly always order the Colony but the MVP is really good as well. I have heard great things about the burger, but I haven't had the chance to try it yet.

Mary Motta: I ordered a pizza for delivery and was disappointed not knowing what Detroit style was. When it arrived, i opens the box and it Looked like deep dish, which I do not like. I was so hungry, I just dug in. The result? The best damn pizza I have ever eaten and I lived in Italy! The crust was AMAZING! Not doughy, which I dislike. It was crispy and buttery and soooo good! The Toppings were fresh and perfect! I can’t wait to go to the restaurant with friends. I am sold!!!!!!

Simon H: Fun pizza combos and really attentive service. Both relatively traditional and non-traditional toppings. My favorite was the hot chicken pizza. I know it sounds weird but it's an incredible combo. I will be dreaming about it. Definitely a good neighborhood go-to.

Jason A: Great pizza in Dupont! Walking distance from the Mayflower hotel. Fast friendly service. The Maverick is my favorite and garlic knots are a nice add on.

Zhuoran Li: The guy is super nice. He is friendly. The pizza is so good.It is really a top place for some pizza quick bite

Sabrina Lisenby: Amazing staff, great service, and was so fast. Oh by the way they have amazing pizza and garlic knots. If this isn’t enough to make you try them out, do it anyway lol 😂🤣

Nadia M: Normally I’m a huge fan of &Pizza, but this location is so severely understaffed during rush hours that it has proven actually impossible to get the pizzas we ordered. The &pizza website said our order would be ready within 15-20 minutes, which is why we placed an order. It’s been over 40 minutes and we haven’t even been able to speak to anyone about whether our order is ready because there’s a wall to wall crowd of people ahead of us trying to do the exact same thing. We’ve had to abandon our order because it’s getting so late - I’d recommend going somewhere else for late night food if it’s a Friday or Saturday. Not saying this is the staff’s fault at all, they seem to be doing their best, but they’re not able to meet the orders of folks in line, let alone online orders, and there’s no clear logic to who’s order is served first (based on our 30 minutes in line). &pizza should work to fix this

Jason Miller: I love &pizza and usually get awesome service however, this visit to this location was lagging. The 2 staff were seemingly working against each other and they burnt mine and my other 2 family members pizzas. I They were still edible and we couldn't possibly wait for them to fumble around to make them over so, we paid and left.

S G: Amazing pizza and unique experience. Build your own pizza to a new level. Fresh toppings and an amazing taste. The place is small but the tastw is huge. Loved the food and the service. A definite must.

Alok Sinha: Stopped by here and this is a great place for pizza. I ordered the new G and added some spicy honey and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend stopping by here if you have a chance.

Jahanna Reese: This is My favorite & pizza Location, great service and they don’t rush you . 5 starts out of 5

Claire Mizutani: I got four pizzas to take back to my family:The Maverick, CBR, Billie, and Kalamata Harris. Two of them were on gluten-free crust. Ordering was pretty hectic because there were many young people coming to eat between going to different bars for St. Patrick’s day. The staff were unfamiliar with the toppings of most of the pies because they are only listed online though the website said that all the pies are available at all locations. They had no olives which was a bit disappointing. They also ran out of arugula. The normal crust was thin and bubbled nicely on the crust. The gluten-free crust was fine and held up well with all of the toppings.

Eileen Beven: Quick and great quality for the price! Also very vegan friendly- spells it out for every ingredient so I never am confused when ordering a custom.

90 Second Pizza: what do users think?

Emma Rose Wooten: $10 Neapolitan pizza! This casual spot is a student favorite for its convenience, price, and quality. The pizza itself has great flavor and salt amount, although sometimes the dough is a little too chewy. It’s fun to go with friends and take it down by the waterfront!

Jose UL: I loved it! Pretty good, I will definitely come back. They were also kind, we got our pizza in 1 minute. Great pizza, and service!

Elizabeth Dou: Nice pizza place if you’re in the area and probably better than a lot of high priced pizza in DC. You can’t beat the price (~$10) and the quality. Crust was thin and the sauce was great. They only sell personal sized pizzas, no slices. There was no wait and the pizza was cooked as advertised. There’s a small seating area upstairs with a few tables to dine in. Friend got meat lovers pizza and had some food poisoning but still really enjoyed the pizza and said it was great.

Kelsey Lang: It's very good with their white pasta sauce instead of their red marinara sauce! It's way so MUCH BETTER! We had to stop here so badly we were so fr**kin hungry! Their crust is very THIN than any others pizza you eat!

Victoria Hardin: I ordered the Ortolana Pizza and pomegranate soda. The Ortolana is supposed to have eggplant as a topping. The menu shows a pizza with eggplant sized strips of eggplant. What arrived was a pie with chopped pieces of what might have been eggplant. I could count the pieces. Oh, and an orange soda. Another review mentioned the dough was a miss. It was, it is. Overall, a waste of money and experience.

Leticia Salomoni: Delicious Italian pizza. There are tables upstairs. Yeah, it takes only 90 seconds. Low price for exceptional pizza

Manasi Suryavanshi: Delicious, quick, annd very reasonably priced (~$10/person) thin crust pizza. We loved the Arrabiata pizza! spicy and savory. Margarita pizza was good too.

Andrew Jreige: Stopped for a small pizza to share between the two of us and we were not disappointed. We ordered a Capricciosa and it was delicious. It was just enough to fill us up. If you're hungry I'd probably have one pizza to yourself. The pizzas are made pretty fast. Hence, the name. But it should take a few minutes. Still faster than most places. The price is also amazing for the quality of pizza. It only cost us $10! Would definitely be coming back for more pizza here the next time I'm walking through Georgetown.

James Leong - Realtor Associate - KW: Well they don't lie its about 90 seconds. The pizza ain't bad. The oven is really hot at about 900 degrees which cooks the pizza super quick.

Terry Martinez: Hands down best tasting pizza I've had since we've moved to DC. It was fast and hot and the taste was clean and delicious. Very simple ingredients completely elevated, why get pizza from anywhere else? Restaurant is very clean staff behind the counter were all very friendly. Thanks!!

Fuel Pizza and Wings: what do users think?

Ashton Foldenauer: Very good. Quality was amazing, kinda had that home-made style food kick to it. Atmosphere is amazing, very put together and fits the style and brand

ThePinkfreak805: A great place to get pizza, great thin crust! Do not pass on the garlic and cinnamon knots, they are soooo good. Seriously I’d come back just for the knots 😅Everything came out warm and fresh without too long of a wait 😊

Aaliyah Monae Jones: My boyfriend and I stopped here last night before attending a concert… I will admit it was HOT, alittle crowded, and tight fit on the inside BUT had the best OLD BAY wings and calzones. Ignore the cleanliness what do you expect with a small amount of staff in a crowded area. The moment people were getting up from their seats people were sitting down. Great spot. Great food. Definitely coming back.

Francisco SantAnna: Not a very good experience, I ordered take out and when I arrived at my hotel I found out my package was missing the side salad. The pizza was not very good (I'd say it was Domino's level, which I think is quite low), the garlick knots were below average, and the fries disappointing. Bad experience overall.
Response: Francisco SantAnna , we're so sorry to hear about this. Customer experience is our #1 priority, so we're bummed to hear yours was not up to par. Hopefully, we can make it up to you soon.

Devin M: I was excited to try the pizza from this place because I always get the wings, but never the pizza. I ordered on my cheat day and the pizza was delivered undercooked and the wings were missing. So disappointed.
Response: We’re really sorry to hear this. We’ll do what we can to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Marvilano Mochtar: Contrary to the reviews, their wings were so so and clearly overpriced. The cleanliness could be improved. And the staff was rude. So, not recommended at all.
Response: Hi Marvilano Mochtar , thanks for letting us know. We pride ourselves on high standards, so it's really disappointing to hear this. Please know we're determined to do better next time.

Dc Celebrity: Stay away from this place, poor management.. poor customer service.. I would've bought a large pizza but I had to use the restroom first.. Aaron wasn't having that.. go to wise guy pizza up the street.. worth the walk.
Response: Dear customer, we’re so sorry to hear this. Thanks for sharing your feedback – it helps us improve. We’ll definitely do better next time.

Maria Santiago: Food and service was excellent. They also speak Spanish. I had the cheese pizza and garlic knots

Matt Heisey: We are Gluten Free and I get severe reaction from cross contamination. They were very knowledgeable on how to prepare my pizza and it was delicious as well. Nice atmosphere, good toppings & drink selection too. Highly recommend trying this place out!

Melanie Rose: I freakin love this place.. pop in whenever I’m in town for wings, a slice, and a couple of beers. Always friendly and helpful staff. Try ‘em out.

Bestolli Pizza: what do users think?

Tassia Stewart: Man! This pizza was soooo delicious and huge! The service was fast too! 3 stars because even though the food was good, the experience was below par. Not enough precautions taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I visited in late August. The Condiments need to be distributed in smaller packs or served by the server, not put out in large Containers and Help-yourself format where everyone will touch the jars and bottles. The restaurant and tables also needed cleaning between customers. The restaurant was empty when we visited and the tables had crumbs from previous customers. We had to clean our table before sitting down to eat. During our meal the owners stepped outside the front door, left the front door wide open and started smoking while the door was open. Horrible cigarette smell and smoke while dining. No bueno! Other than that the pizza was tasty. Better suited to takeout.

Christian Doza: Tremendous Jumbos slice best one out of the 3 in Adams MorganHands down tremendous

Peri Blow: The young man at the front register, you know… the one that looks miserable, HE’S RUDE AS HELL. I’ve never met some someone with zero customer service skills. One moment he’s all intrigued by me and my partners experience at Pizza Mart or whatever it’s called. Then the next he’s stone cold ride as heck. If you dnt like your job bro.. just find another where you dnt have to be face to face with kind customers.
Response: Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We're serious about customer service and are actively addressing your complaint with our team. We're sorry and hope to make it up to you.

Adilson Grillo: They have the best chicken quesadillas in Adams Morgan!I always order the Greek Salad and a Chicken Quesadilla for dinner. It's my favorite place for a late night snack! 😋

shawn price: I like the variety of jumbo slices they offer, most jumbo slice restaurant only offer pepperoni or sausage.

Billy Foster: Awesome lamb and pizza! The pizza slice was enormous and super good. Friendly staff and work with dietary restrictions.

Ovilah Mulkey: This review is solely based upon the 2 slices of pizza that I got last night. They were very good! I ordered 2 of the Margarita Pizza slices. The ingredients were perfect and the flavor I love this kind of pizza for was spot on! I was told by a friend who is a local to never get anything but the pizza by the slice from here. As long as you follow that advice, you will always be pleased.

Nikita Dhar: Extremely fresh and hot food, flavourful and great service. Did not know if they had a chicken kebab wrap and they made one for us.

Jerard Pulliam: By far the best jumbo slice I've encountered in years in Adam's Morgan!! I came in for a late night slice only to find that their variety was mindblowing so many selections not like the old days of only cheese or pepperoni !! I purchased the Supreme slice and when it came I was amazed at all the toppings on it!! It was fresh hot and the crust had a crunch that just finished off my taste buds. Service was great as well the gentleman at the register was really kind and even came out to sanitize and sweep around my table before I sat down. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's lucky enough to be in the area. I will definitely be back soon !!

Cher B: Late night pizza spot featuring jumbo slices. The cheese pizza was delicious. Quick service. Could be cleaner. Affordable.

Dupont’s Pizza: what do users think?

Robert Rivas W.: Extraordinary!! and I do not exaggerate what I say. the dough is absolutely perfect, the ingredients fresh and top quality. The spotless place very clean and the staff very attentive and cheerful. It opens until 2am which is very convenient for those of us who arrive late at the hotel.

C F: Pretty decent pizza! Especially if you order by the slice and have them stick it back in the oven for a little extra time so the cheese gets melty. Stopped in for a couple quick slices. They are BIG slices which is awesome. Came out hot with a pretty decent crusty crust. Would definately try a slice if you are looking for some hot pizza. Some indoor seating with tables or take to-go.

Luis Cristian: This is some of the best pizza I've had. Went with a group of 8 and we were all really happy. The flavor of the pizza was top notch and honestly some of the best I have had. The size of the pizza was also fairly large. Overall impressed with the restaurant atmosphere and interior. It is not your regular pizza joint that has grease at every corner. This place looked great. Only thing I would recommend is an expansion of their drink selection. I didn't see any 2 liter sizes, but then again I'm not from DC and perhaps that's what their clientele desires. 5 stars
Response: Dear Luis! We are glad to see you enjoyed our pizza and service with your friends or family! Since we have limited space and high volume costumers on the weekends. Large size drinks didn’t work out in the past.however since you mentioned we may keep couple options for large groups Respectfully DuPont pizza

Victor Zuliani: Just got your pizza. Delivered to Hotel Lambardi. It's supposed to be a supreme. It's terrible. Hardly any sausage. Hardly any peppers. Barely any onions.
Response: Hi Zuliani, thanks for the feedback. We take care with every order but it sounds like we missed the mark this time. We're really sorry and hope to see you again soon

Alicia Coleman: After a long 3 Hour drive, I stopped to get pizza and it was nice and burnt when I got to my hotel to eat it, it’s a real disappointment. Then when I called to talk about it they act like they were confused about what was going on.
Response: Dear Alicia, Our deepest apologies for the inconvenience and your experience. We use stone oven unfortunately it does happen sometimes. When the pizza looks totally fine on the top and bottom burnt. We always advise our cashier to double check any pizza given to our costumer. Please call us to issue you full refund. Respectfully DuPont pizza

Ashwini Yelamanchili: Slices are HUGE, with good crust and sauce. I don’t know what it looked like before the remodel, but the interior is bright and clean and the stafff is always super friendly. This is the perfect spot in Dupont when you’re craving a slice.

Brandon Fitch: Pizza is literally larger than the plate its served on and is still firm and EXTREMELY delicious. For a QUARTER piece of an 18' pie it's only $6 and with the late closing time is great for an after bar munch.

Tyson Paulson: Great pizza and a good value. The space is a bit uninspired. A late night table of avid chess players helped liven things up a bit. A slice on the run is a no-brainer.

Peggy Watson: Y’all have to come to DuPont Pizza if you come to DC. Best slice. Literally oral orgasm everytime I come.

J 4: (updated: Standing in line and watching the counter attendant actively discriminate.) Never saw this behavior again. They have a sign posted at the front ALL are welcome. Best slice in DC for a couple reasons. $5 for basically two slices. But it's also thin crust, flavorful dough, good cheese. It doesn't need much else made this way. I'm glad they got their lives.

Flippin' Pizza: what do users think?

qtpie5212: I’m always looking for great gluten free pizza. I hit the jack pot here at Flippin Pizza! The staff are always family friendly and you can tell they care about their community! I just wanted to hug them because they just warmed my heart and filled my stomach! 🍕♥️💛

Matthew Towell: Ordered a pizza online. Showed that they closed at 8pm. Took our money and said would be ready in 20 min. Showed up to pick up the pizza at 7:45 and the place is already closed even though on the door it says it closes at 8pm. Shouldn't be able to take your money online if they are not making the pizza.

Jordan Smith: Horrible Experience. I would never support this business ever and recommend everyone to try another pizza spot. The owner of the business is rude and unprofessional. I literally was dropping off something to a store and literally was in and out within 30 seconds and the owner took my tag numbers and said "you cant park there" as his female associate was pointing and talking on her phone.. excuse me but DC has street parking which is public parking. Secondly your job tittle is a pizza spot owner not DC parking enforcement. I would stick Pizzeria Paradiso or &Pizza down the street.

Darrin Thompson: Great job my group had a Flippin' good experience. Pep rolls are on point! 🍕, 🥗, and baked meatballs each spectacular! No photos this time, but would definitely recommend!!

Anthony Karlin: Some of the best pizza I've ever had, and I've had lots of pizza! (I've been to New York and Italy, so that really says something). Also, if you like spices and herbs, you'll absolutely love their Flippin' Fireblend! To top it off they have the new coke machine too which is awesome :)

Ricky Jamz (Ricky): Great pizza and service… Vegetarian Pizza is the best I’ve ever had!

Sarah Boyer: The employee tonight (12/15) was just so nice!!! She gave wonderful recommendations (get the buffalo chicken!) & my food came out quick and the crust is extra delicious : )

Lindsay Bigda: Advertising same food under other names on delivery platforms to try to hide their negative reviews (e.g., Pizza & Salad). Tried canceling an order immediately and they would not waive a $20 “cancellation fee” - more than the cost of the food!

Dave Watts: It's just not that good a pizza place. They offer five or six slices, and none look like they're cooked all the way. There aren't many places nearby where you can get a slice, unfortunately.

Craycray Hehe: 30 mins for one pizza? Hell no do not recommend one bit take your business somewhere else people there are rude as well

Jumbo Slice Pizza: what do users think?

Cheri L: I had jumbo slice for the first time in 9+ years after moving away from the dmv, and let me tell you this place still hits the exact same. My partner tried to order an entire pizza, but the lady at the counter informed him they didn’t do that, so he ordered 4 jumbo slices. They unfortunately, put them all in one box, but he realized that he screwed up by ordering 4 pieces for 1 pregnant lady lol. Needless to say it was our lunch and dinner for the following day and night.

Cara Lea: Pizza was absolutely amazing. Owners were kind and proficient. Prepare to never go hungry again because one slice is actually just a whole pizza in disguise

Xena Chevres: The pizza was very good but the reason why I am rating it a 3 star is because the place smelt really bad and looked very dirty. While I was waiting for my food a separate customer was about to enter the building but then turned around after stepping inside due to the bad smell. For my first time in Washington DC it wasn't to bad but the place it's self needs to look a little more professional. Pizza was nice though!

heyitsred !: Talk about quality pizza bigger than your head! My boyfriend and I spent $20 total and couldn't finish our slices. Absolutely delicious! This is a must visit budget friendly spot in dc!

bettel solomon: I called to ask for delivery and they hung up on me. This is the second incident where they have treated me as a unwanted stepchild. 2 weeks ago I called and ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas when I came In I paid for my food and it was 2 cheese pizzas. I informed them that the order was wrong and they gave me an Attitude and it took 25 mins to remake 2 jumbo slices. I would personally never eat here again.
Response: We’re sorry you didn’t have a better experience with us. Quality and accuracy of orders are important to us, so we'll be looking into what happened here. Again, so sorry.

Timothy Chanthamala: Consistent Flavor and Quality. FYI the more holes in the wall the better the food haha

Baj Khan: #JumboSlice is a fixture in #AdMo-- one that can't be imitated or replicated 😏 I used to hit this spot up after a night of clubbing wit my lil sis or just on a quick snack/lunch run while out walking dogs 🐶🐾🐩🐕 It's just like I remembered #IT, although they did move to a more open space since #COVID. It almost felt like a dance floor in that joint 💃🕺🍕 and the pizza is classic. Great service too! 🤙🤟🤘👌✌️👄😜😁

Yordi Ayele: No vegan options at night and the staff is rude about it when you ask. They don’t have a single option for vegan people in 2022. I will never come back again.
Response: We're so sorry for the bad experience. Comments like yours show us what we need to work on. Thanks for helping us improve.

Crystal Stafford: Jumbo slice taste pretty good, sweet sauce.

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: Yep...I went here, I was in the area so...why not!?! We’ve all been here (those of us that have experienced the Adams Morgan/U St., nightlife scene that is).Located at 2341 18th St., N.W. Washington D.C. #jumboslicedc has been around for quite some time now. This food has acted as a savior for me, and many others, after nights filled with debauchery, and hedonism in the aforementioned areas of the city!! You eat some of this slice, you get home, you take another bite, you pass out!! That’s it!! Fold this pizza in half...you have an instant Stromboli!! Please don’t attempt to eat this super sized slice like you would a regular sized slice...the results could be fatal to your nice “stepping out” outfit!! TRUST!! Now if your in Adams Morgan, you’ll find a different Jumbo Slice every block, and a half!! You can’t miss them. This particular spot does have additional toppings (at about $1 each, the cheese pizza-pictured was $7) like pepperoni, sausage, onions, jalapeños, black olives, green peppers, pineapple, ham, even Buffalo chicken. You don’t have to get a Jumbo slice either, they have 12””-16” sized pies, calzones, fries, onion rings and Gyros. Look...this is a fun food, and on the low...they use a higher quality mozzarella/provolone cheese blend, that’s a tad bit more dense than having just mozzarella. Don’t forget to add the grated Parmesan cheese, and the red pepper flakes!!This slice is a must have in DC...it’s a bucket list item!! Try it...that’s it. #jumboslicepizza #cheese #adamsmorgan #staple #cheapeats #drunkfood #bigschlimsreviews #washingtondc #parmesan #redpepperflakes #latenights #foodie #musttry #bucketlist #thatsit
