Angelico Pizzeria: what do users think?

Edie Young: My family orders pizza from here quite often as we live nearby. I have to say the pizza is very yummy. Also the service is good and I would recommend.

Selma Brittain: I ordered from this place for the first time and really enjoyed it. The reviews made me a little concerned but I am glad I did not listen. I ordered a large portobello mushroom and it was enough for my boyfriend and I. The pizza was very good and the feta on it really pulled the entire pizza together. Usually I prefer my pizzas with red sauce but the veggie ingredients and garlic and herb truly made it very flavorful. I did do pick up so by the time I made it home it wasn’t as hot but it was still good. I did eat the leftovers the next day and popped it in the oven to get it toasted and it tasted just as good. Definitely will order form here again.

Caleb Copeland: This place also goes by “Focaccia Sandwiches” on delivery apps, which is what my review is about. Amazing focaccia bread and plenty of options for filling. Highly recommend. Haven’t tried their pizza or other “Angelico” brand items yet. It is kind of shady that they pose as two different restaurants on delivery apps. I had to call about an order once and the person who answered the phone was so confused.

Marcus M: Great sandwiches. I’ve ordered 5 or 6 times and it’s great every time.

John Reid: Awesome pizza. Got the eggplant special and cheese. Buy it.

Martha Dear: what do users think?

Andy Thompson: Great pizza and great service - went Sunday night of a 3 day weekend and the team was still firing on all cylinders. I sat at the bar and got extremely lucky with the last pizza of the night (around 7:30 pm). The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and perfectly salty/savory. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the pies.

Victor Campano: This is the best pizza in DC without question. Anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars is really just upset about the vaccination policy (you have to show your vaccination card to dine inside). The ambiance, the food, and the staff (husband and wife ownership - both outstanding people who put in hard work each night to ensure that their restaurant is running at its best) all get 5 stars from me.

Ashish Gupta: Fantastic crust. Would like to see them offer lighter (less cheese, plant forward) pizza specials--though such can be assembled from the offered toppings

Mathew York: Everything is so good, pizza is on point! Super friendly people and cozy spot. Love it.

Alphonse Dell'Isola: Finding honestly great pizza is surprisingly difficult in DC, which is what made discovering Martha Dear such a pleasure. The sourdough crust is lovingly executed and it shines through— chewy and more flavorful, a rare crust good enough to eat on its own. But you don’t eat it on its own, oh no— the dill dip is PHENOMENAL. They created a zesty-creamy-herby wonder Dip 10,000 times better than any ranch dressing. Rather than hijacking the flavor party, it actually pairs with the pizzas and complements it tremendously. The pizzas change depending on what’s seasonal, so it’s more difficult to recommend a specific one (the mushroom spinach and Haloumi was our favorite) but don’t worry— whichever you get it will be wonderfully balanced with delicious toppings. We tried 4 different ones and all of them were. Order whichever looks good to you and you’re sure you’re sure be satisfied. Our appetizers were also wonderful, the pita chips are so crunchy and toasty— it made it impossible for me to enjoy ones from a bag again. A secret star of the show is the COOKIES. They are divine. Like pizza, I find myself consistently disappointed by chocolate chip cookies from bakeries and restaurants— just hard to be better than homemade. But these vault past that: crisp on the edges without even a hint of burn or overdone, while so chewy and rich in the middle. And they are NOT shy with the salt. They give a hefty sprinkling and it makes you realize other places are still a little scared to REALLY salt their desserts. Let me tell you it is the right amount! We sat on the patio in the shade and it was wonderfully comfortable! The staff was exceptionally welcoming and hospitable and their pride in their work shows. We had such a lovely meal and are excited to keep coming back!

Ana-Maria Jaramillo: The best pizza, the coziest atmosphere, the nicest people. Try the non-pizza dishes too - that chocolate olive oil cake is spiritual.

Pizzeria Paradiso: what do users think?

David Wilson: Nice cozy place. Lighting and atmosphere just right. Restrooms very clean. Waitstaff friendly and attentive. The pizzas very tasty and not salty. The two drinks we had at the end where very good.

Rosie N.: Casual dining, lots of great options to choose from. Some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Made fresh to order and service was on point.

Ann Morse: I may have a new favorite pizza! Macellaio with pork sausage and pepperoni hit all the savory buttons for a cold winter’s night. Primi of chicken wings and meatballs. Feeling warm now, also thanks to the very kind staff!

Steven Cheng: I had dinner with my partner here a few weeks ago during our visit to DC. The pizzas we ordered had great balance and what really stood out was how nice the crust was! Light and crispy. This is something that is pretty hit and miss at a lot of pizza restaurants. The beer many was also extensive, which added to the positive experience.

Alejandra Becerra: The pizza is delicious, the dough is tiny, is so good, this are the special and 4 cheese. The service can improve.

Karla De Los Santos: Nice place, good & fresh pizza. We had the Margherita and the Napoletana

C: Excellent pizza paradiso! We visited on 5/29 and were given a contact tracing paper to fill out for dining in. I thought it was a great idea and felt safer eating here knowing if someone tested positive and reported back, then we could be notified. The pizza came out hot and shortly after we ordered. Way better flavor than usual chain pizzas and not too salty like most. Would recommend to others and will be back in the future.

Karoline Melo: The pizza is great as well as the beers. So sad that they have closed the store in Alexandria, but when I have a chance I always go to the ones in DC.

Stellina Pizzeria: what do users think?

ESB NYC: Excellent pizza, thin center and thick crust, nicely cooked. We had the piccante pizza, spicy sausage, tomato sauce, mozzarella and salami. We shared one, but it’s really an individual sized pizza. If you’re not very hungry, a couple could get by with one or two apps and one pizza. Had a glass of the vermentino, $11. Wasn’t very good. Sharp aftertaste and it was a kinda stingy pour. Otherwise excellent service and pleasant spot. Everyone was working hard and there is a spirit of teamwork. I’d definitely try it again. Oh, one thing that was strange is that if you pay on the toast-tab online feature or app, a 20% gratuity (service charge) is automatically added and can’t be reduced (or increased) and was not disclosed in advance. I didn’t care for that but it’s a relatively minor annoyance (as long as the service remains strong).

Lila West: Phenomenal Italian food! They have been on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list for several years which recognizes good quality and good value cooking all over the world. I have stopped by many times and am never disappointed. Highly recommend their pizza!

Jean Ng: Twice on Michelin’s guide recommendation, it doesnt disappoint. Our Piccante (house made spicy sausage with salami ans mozza)pizza came briefly after ordering through the online platform. The anchovies on our caesar salad is not fishy at all and tasted fresh with a little tangy that goes well with the creamy dressed lettuce.

David Brenton: We ordered take out - overall decent experience - we had the piccante, sausage and peppers, as well as the pork sausage with thyme. The crust on these is very good, super authentic ingredients and good flavors. The Cesar salad and rice balls were delicious. We will go again to try some different pizzas but it’s not your traditional pizza joint. Excited to try some pastas.

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: I was waiting for the day when my schedule allotted me time to go to this spot. I have been wanting to go here for a while now. Other reviews have been done about this pizzeria, so since pizza is my favorite food…It was my turn at bat with this joint!! Located at 399 Morse St., Northeast, Washington DC, in the Union market area you’ll find @stellinapizzeria !! OK let’s go!! This spot has appetizers like their Cuoppo Misto ( fried calamari, shrimp, octopus, potato chips, and lemon $16), and their Aranicini di Riso (rice balls, meat ragu, mozzarella, and tomato sauce $12). Of course they have pizza like their Margherita pie (tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil $15), pastas, panini’s, Lasagne’s, salads, deserts like their Cannoli Siciliani (Ricotta cream, chocolate chips, pistachio $9), and even a myriad of wine selections. On this day I copped their Piccante pie (with tomato sauce, house made sausage, spicy soppressata, salami, ndulja jam, and mozzarella $17), their Parmigiana di Melanzane (eggplant, mozzarella, tomato, parmigiano Reggie no cheese, and basil $26), and their Brasato di Manzo (braised short rib, fontina cheese, and potato croquette $18). The pizza?? STAMP! The crust was crisp, and soft, the sauce had a hint of wine in it, the cheese was melted perfectly, and you tasted the meats freshness. The “Eggplant Parm” absolutely DELICIOUS!! Fresh, a lite density with the cheese, with a sauce that blended everything together for your palate! Lastly the short rib sammich was a STAMP too!! Tender well seasoned rib meat, that mozzarella stick put in the sandwich, the fontina cheese…PERFECTION!! This meal came with house made fries…it was sooo good y’all!! A must have!! Customer series’s decent, outside seating was available, the establishment was clean, online ordering was easy, and parking was so so. You MUST go try this spot!! REALLY…thank me later…get that sammich!! That’s it. #stellinapizzeria #bigschlimsreviews #braisedshortribsandwhich #eggplantparm #pizza #deliciousness #qualityfood #funfood #unionmarket #mozzarellasticks #housemadesausage #freshfriedchips #musthaves #go #thatsit

Paul Meijer: Being from Connecticut, the pizza capital of the world, we have a bit of a different understanding of what pizza is. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of totally different pizzas on their menu. The service is good the food is good and I even bought a bottle of hot oil to go. Especially good was the tiramisu. We liked the restaurant and will be back.

Lupo Pizzeria: what do users think?

Shamsher: I am not even hyping this place and if you read my other reviews you know how realistic they are. This place has one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. This is not coming out of any excitement or anything else. I have been here twice and I am just in love with this place. Most of the top restaurants in DC offer mediocre food. Yes you read that right. Absolutely mediocre. But the small places like Lupo Verde and then Lupo Pizzeria win me over because of the amount of love they have in the food. Last night was my second visit. The service was excellent. I ordered the stuffed risotto balls and those were perfect. Cooked fresh, looked fresh and were an absolute delight. Ordered Carbonara 2.0 and egg yolk on pizza with the perfect amount of cheese was lovely. All in all 5/5 is what this place deserves and that’s my review.

Yara Gayar: The pizza was great! I ordered the truffle one and enjoyed it. It’s more of a soft crust than a crispy one, but delicious regardless. The tiramisu was definitely their top dessert we had.

Ashtaad Dalal: Great experience and really delicious food. The appetizer line up alone is worth the visit. Highlights were the fried artichoke and fritto misto. The carbonara and la diavola pizzas were delicious. Everything was extremely fresh. The service was outstanding. Thank you for a great experience, Gonzalo!

Belkiss Anane: My go-to for authentic Italian individual-sized pizzas. Love love he flavors and the simplicity that delivers! The Lupo Marino, the pistachio+burrata, and the carbonara are amongst my favorites!

Diego Alonso Vargas: I visited Lupo just to get a pizza with a friend and ended up finding all sorts of innovative and delicious dishes. The squid ink risotto balls stuffed with calamari ragú (see attached picture) were superb. The experience overall was excellent. Please do yourself a favor and visit this place.

Tanguy D: La DiavolaThe pizza looked amazing and tasted better! You can tell it’s fresh authentic pizza. Knocking one star because the delivery took forever.

LP: Cutest vibe inside! Painted white brick with pictures of shutters and hanging silk plants. A clothes line with Italian team jerseys running across the room. There’s a bookcase behind the bar that staff disappear through once in a while like a best kept secret. I had the avanccini that had calamari ragu and squid ink risotto and the carbonara 2.0 pizza. Yummy and unique. Great presentation and friendly staff. Things to note: tables are small and closely set. Music is loud enough conversation requires raised voices.

Tamar Schwartzman: Thank you to Fernando and Karen for the most amazing service. We had a private party to celebrate a graduation and they made our night so special. Additionally, the food was spectacular. I loved the spaghetti with meatball and beef ragu gnocchi. Finally, exceptional wine.

Grace Brang: The gnocchi with beef ragu is so delicious, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in DC! Their pizza dough is phenomenal - get the focaccia and a couple of glasses of wine at the bar for the most relaxing Sunday night!

Nadine Alonzo: Are here by accident and was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I’m used to American pizza not being as good as in Europe and was so happy to have this very delicious experience. The pizza dough and crust is delicious on its own.

All-Purpose Shaw: what do users think?

Saritha Athmakur: Aaah! This place was a mood! We went during the happy hour. Great food, great place. Both the “Standard “ pizza and the mushroom onion pizza was so yum. The best part is the crust. And for apps we ordered the cauliflower. I don’t want to eat cauliflower in any other way now 😂

Philip Gordon: All Purpose has some of the best pizza I have ever had. Ingredients are fresh and authentic. Portions are just the right size. The personal pizzas are 12" pies but turn out closer to 14". The crusts are just right and thin on the bottom. The menu offers plenty of different options. Most guests seem to just order to go. If you are dining in there is a 20% gratuity automatically included with your order just so you are aware. Pizzas can be eaten in one sitting if you are extra hungry. You can also take pieces home. The pies reheat well.

Wade McManus: We had dinner here a month back while visiting dc and found ourselves talking about it again last night while experiencing bad service somewhere else in our hometown. I cannot recommend enough coming to A.P. and sitting at the bar to order food. Our bartender, Alex, was a clear fan favorite as everyone enjoyed his service - he had excellent suggestions, always topped off a drink before we even noticed it half full, and was the number one best thing about our dinner experience. The pizza, drinks, and tiramisu were great, don’t get me wrong, but we have since told all dc friends to visit this spot because of its superior service, and we’re still talking about it today. You just don’t get that kind of service everyday.

Mahdi Shirvin: There pizza was absolutely awesome.I will Eggplant dish made with skin off. 😕The waiters were nice and professional. The restaurant add 20% services fee to all checks.

Jimmy Matthews: Had a great experience here during restaurant week. Made reservations for Friday evening, the gentleman who took our reservation talked through seating options to maximize social distancing to ease my COVID anxiety. When we walked in, everyone’s vax cards were checked & the gentleman remembered us and we were seated early. Our waiter, Nick, was very attentive and patient as we asked questions about the food and beverage choices. He provided great dinner recommendations! Our party of 3 had Brussel sprouts, chicken parm arancini, and 3 different types of pizzas: delica-ssata, sedgewick, & tripper. All fabulous recommendations, tripper and sedgewick were our favorite. Pizzas cooked to perfection and delicious crust! Had the tiramisu for dessert and a few glasses of wine along the way. Stayed a while and enjoyed the lively atmosphere & service. Adding it to a favorite spot among so many good options in DC!

Bex Yukman: Fabulous experience from the moment I walked by at the end of a conference day. Prompt, attentive, and friendly staff asked immediately whether I wanted my water sparkling. When I ordered without any customizations, Jeb nonetheless verified I had no allergies. And no exaggeration - the pizza was the best of my life! Grateful.

Chris De Hoyos: Sunday brunch… we are not even done being here yet and this place is AAHHHMAZING! We had Baked Eggs ‘Toscana’, Buona Pizza and the Double Stuffed Fried Mozz to start.. let’s not even talk about the ‘Bottomless Mimosas’ which were never empty. Then top it all off the Roman ‘Maritozzi’ for a little piece of dessert heaven. We sat at the bar and the service was more than exceptional, great music in the background as well. If visiting like we are.. you must stop in! Hell if you live here you need to frequent!

Thais Pansani: Nice atmosphere. A little bit expensive (20 dollars a pizza), but the pizza is really good, worths the visit. The bread with garlic butter is amazing!

Food Enthusiast: Best pizza I have had in DC! The vibe inside the restaurant is also very nice and cozy! The food was ready very quickly and the waiter was very nice to us! Will definitely come back for pizza!

Pizzoli's Pizzeria: what do users think?

Christal Young: Came for lunch and tried their veggie pizza with vegan cheese and a few other modifications. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and just overall good! I also had the vegan butter garlic sauce on the side and it really amped up the flavor even more. Pretty pricy but good nevertheless.

Mike Lyons: Wonderful owner showed us so much hospitality. Fresh salad with homemade dressing. Gluten free dairy free pizza. Outdoor and indoor seating. It’s very informal. Neighborhood pizza joint. They provided a personal pizza cutter to ensure no cross contamination.

Eleanor Bokmeyer: Super accommodating to gluten free diners! I was so surprised to know the lengths they took to make sure everything was separate and safe. I can’t wait to dine there again! The owner came out and talked to me and showed a great understanding of the allergy and how important keeping everyone safe was to him. :)

Daniel Lopez: This place had to be the best pizza place In Washington DC. The price is pretty good for what they device and it’s great. The pizza is fresh, hot, and super tasty. There wings are even better and they deliver and dine so it was perfect for us. Has to be rated easily 10/10.

Lorna Schmid: Great pizza!! Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options! But meat lovers will be happy too. High flavor and very tasty.

Pi Pizzeria: what do users think?

Eric Meyer Music: Last night in DC and pizza was on our RADAR screen. Pi Pizza was close walking distance to our hotel so we gave it a try. Very glad we did. Friendly waitstaff had us seated and sipping very good Margaritas while looking the menu over. Nice atmosphere and bar looked like it would be a good place to be. They were out of Garlic Knots, surprising but they do receive high praise in other’s reviews. We opt for the dry rubbed and broiled veggies. These turned out to be a great choice, a nice mix of carrot planks, cauliflower and broccoli crowns all seasoned and charred to perfection and a solid starter for us, really tasty and accompanied by a cooling tzatziki type sauce. We ultimately went with a build your own thin crust pie, with basil pesto, mixed mushrooms and roasted garlic toppings. Wow, after the great veggies, this pizza was full of wonderful flavors. Piping hot with a nice crisp crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese foundation to really let the other toppings shine. A really good pizza and we washed it down with a couple more Margaritas. Highly recommend Pi Pizza if you’re visiting DC and have a hankering for a great pie.

Christopher French: Amazing place. So beautiful inside. The staff is wonderful, friendly, professional, and helpful. The food is delicious with a number of combinations and pizzas where you can build your own. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Adam Busby: Excellent deep dish pizza. Tasted great, service was quick and friendly. Parking is pretty easy to find in a garage or on the street. I have no complaints. Inside is huge and we waited 5 minutes to be seated after they opened on a Friday. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Capital for the day.

Chomar: Excellent service excellent food an excellent happy hour where local craft beers are only $5 an a slice of thin crust pizza is $4.50. Prices are fair an the deep dish Chicago south side pizza is amazing. The environment is clean and the waiters are always friendly an serve you with a smile. I highly recommend.

Randy Cornett: This gluten free crust was fantastic! It has a nice buttery taste with a crisp bottom and soft, chewy inside. Manager and server were super friendly and helpful too! Beyond the crust, we enjoyed the sauce and great toppings on ‘the hill’ pizza.

Pat Eats: Located right next to Capital One Arena, this is a perfect place for a slice before a Caps game. If you’re looking for Chicago Deep Dish in D.C., Pi Pizzeria is top of the list! Follow pat_eats_ on Instagram for more reviews!

Chuck Myntti: I went to order a pizza to take away. I ordered an xtra large split half way as a veggie and half as a spicy meatlovers. When I was waiting I was reading the reviews in here and I was thinking, "oh man, what have I gotten myself into?" because of all of the negative reviews. I was handed the big box with my pizza inside, walked home with it, and discovered a very good, world class pizza! The crust was just right. The sauce was just right. The toppings were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep making excellent pizzas!!

Pupatella: what do users think?

Walt Kosty: Staying at an Air BNB just around the corner Pupatella was an easy walk on a chilly evening. Although the outside patio was inviting we chose indoor. Grab a menu and find your own seat and place your order at the front. This was unusual but our table was well serviced by staff who bring plates and water upon seating and drinks and food promptly. It was more of a free form wait service which was perfect, informal yet attentive. For a Friday night it was fairly quiet but they were busy. The large screen in our dining area was an overhead view of the kitchen preparing the pizzas and they were busy busy so I assume the takeout and delivery were booming. The five stars is for friendly and engaging wait staff and the tasty pizza. Crusts are thin and slightly pliable more like a pita with the rim of the dough perfect with a light char from the wood fire. Ingredients were fresh and quite good. I could go on, because there’s a great back story to the place, but know this, they have multiple locations in the DC area so if you’re traveling here like we are, you should definitely give Pupatella a try if you like good pizza cooked in the Neapolitan style…only wish we had one in our town but finding a restaurant like this is part of the beauty of traveling, and then there’s the beauty of lefties for tomorrow. “Al buon cibo!”

Empress 23 moon: I enjoyed the specialty pizzas, salad and appetizers and it was Outstanding! Customer service was Outstanding too,and they went far and beyond to provide us with great customer service.

Norman M. Wereley: Ordered three pizzas: calabrese, diavolo, and the “pig and fig”. All were quite good! We ate our dinner al fresco on the sidewalk tables. Service was also quick and quite good. Food must be ordered in advance at the counter and then it is delivered to your table.

pamela sloan: My friends and I enjoyed our individual pizzas, the atmosphere, and great service. It was a great experience for visiting DC.

Bacio Pizzeria: what do users think?

Rebecca Wolf: I love Bacio so much. I used to come here with a whole crew of vegan runners after a long run and we were so deeply taken care of at this neighborhood gem. I just ordered a delivery order for margarita with light vegan cheese and heavy sauce and they so beautifully made me a little pie with love and GARLIC. Bacio is the pizza place for pizza lovers alike! Vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters. They take special care and exude hometown vibes.

Aurora Williams: Truly the best pizza in DC. The right amount of sauce, a lovely crunch, and great topping options... I feel very lucky to live so close. They definitely cater to take away, but the dine in experience is perfectly lovely as well.

Ormond Derrick: I got the large 1 topping pizza with ham. A good pizza and sure it would have been better with some more toppings but I thought it was alright for what I got and the price. Definitely will be back to try their speciality pizzas because they smelled amazing and my roommate enjoyed here. I will say their deserts are PHENOMENAL. I got the Carmel something, (forget the name as it was 2 days ago) but it’s like a flan cake. Probably one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. Friend got the tiramisu and was equally impressed. Amazing desert spot

Lissa H: The calzone was delicious! The dough was fresh and baked to perfection while the inside was full of wonderful melted cheese and fillings. You could tell it was a neighborhood favorite as the staff greeted customers by name. Highly recommend trying it.

Cathy Hermanson: Visiting from Cape Cod, MA everything was delicious pizza, salad, sautéed Brussels sprouts, cheese sticks. The service was outstanding and lastly ice cream for dessert. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Caleb Goddard: Great pizza. I definitely recommend ordering a pizza from the menu, rather than choosing toppings on your own. I also recommend getting a large versus a small - the taste is better as the crust, toppings and sauce are distributed better. I recommend the Shaw and the Bloomingdale. Excellent pizzas!!

Joe Brophy: A delicious pizza place I chose for my birthday dinner... and was not disappointed. As vegetarians we had the Crispus Attucks and the No. 81 and they were both amazing. A cozy and comfy vibe and good service also made us feel very at home. We will be back!

Timber Pizza Company: what do users think?

Mischa: This is a very cute little place that serves mainly Argentinian-style empanadas, pizza, coffee, beer, and more. On weekends they open from 8am to 1pm, then they reopen again at 5pm. Unfortunately (as of this writing at least), they only serve breakfast empanadas and no pizza during the first opening. So you have to come back after 5pm if you want pizza or pork empanadas. Another downside is that there are three empanadas in each order, and they all have to be the same kind, so you cannot get one squash empanada and one pork empanada. Other than that, all else was good!

Brie W.: Okay. Listen here. This place is WONDERFUL. I’ve never had a pizza this good. It’s really inexpensive for such high quality food and we have plans to bring family here when they visit from out of state. It’s interior is tiny but SOOO cute. We will be coming back to this place again. The sweet bar tender was very knowledgeable as well so don’t be afraid to ask questions. The whole staff seems to care about you and it feels really welcoming.

R N: Excellent pizza! The dough is amazing very fluffy and light. The outside seating was very rustic and the vibe as real! The staff was very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!

Remo Molino: Awesome pizza and amazing salad. All fresh ingredients. Thin crust. Wood fired oven. Local spring mix salad with fresh radishes and peas. All healthy and amazing taste. Two picnic tables inside and two outside. Lots of take out. Order takeout online or call. Wine, beer and gelato dessert. Restaurant is super clean as is the unisex restroom. All employees are quiet and super efficient. They have a good system here.

Dupont’s Pizza: what do users think?

Robert Rivas W.: Extraordinary!! and I do not exaggerate what I say. the dough is absolutely perfect, the ingredients fresh and top quality. The spotless place very clean and the staff very attentive and cheerful. It opens until 2am which is very convenient for those of us who arrive late at the hotel.

C F: Pretty decent pizza! Especially if you order by the slice and have them stick it back in the oven for a little extra time so the cheese gets melty. Stopped in for a couple quick slices. They are BIG slices which is awesome. Came out hot with a pretty decent crusty crust. Would definately try a slice if you are looking for some hot pizza. Some indoor seating with tables or take to-go.

Ashwini Yelamanchili: Slices are HUGE, with good crust and sauce. I don’t know what it looked like before the remodel, but the interior is bright and clean and the stafff is always super friendly. This is the perfect spot in Dupont when you’re craving a slice.

Tyson Paulson: Great pizza and a good value. The space is a bit uninspired. A late night table of avid chess players helped liven things up a bit. A slice on the run is a no-brainer.

Peggy Watson: Y’all have to come to DuPont Pizza if you come to DC. Best slice. Literally oral orgasm everytime I come.

Ricky Jamz (Ricky): Great pizza and service… Vegetarian Pizza is the best I’ve ever had!

Sarah Boyer: The employee tonight (12/15) was just so nice!!! She gave wonderful recommendations (get the buffalo chicken!) & my food came out quick and the crust is extra delicious : )

We, The Pizza: what do users think?

Rena Correia: THE BEST PIZZA!!!! It was SO GOOD!!! I wish I could have eaten more!! Crunchy crust and lots of toppings!! Check out all the different pies in the pictures!! They had everything you could think of! So so good!!!!

Amy Tucker: This place came highly recommended to us by a friend. We ordered through delivery app after a long day of sight seeing. The pizza was fairly priced. The crust was delicious and the toppings worked really well together. It was so fragrant that when we went to take our first bite our mouths literally began to water. We order the Capitol Supreme, may need to try another before we leave town!

Ha Dong: Really good, freshly made pizza with many toppings to choose from. I love to try all topping if im back in town again. Right by the capitol

Chad Godfirnon: Delicious pizza by the slice or whole pie btons of options including vegan and vegetarian choices. Fast service and inside and outside seating. The Vegan pie was really tasty and flavorful.

Alex Culver: Best pizza on the world(like others said) or best pizza on the planet! Sat directly in from of window where they were constructing each pizza. Amazing. A must eat!

Etto: what do users think?

Ignacio Alvarez Gussoni: Great cocktails, chic italian resto. Friendly staff! Great decor.

thomas green: If you’re looking for super thin, crispy, decadent pizza then you need to get to Etto. Casual spot that serves up some classy cocktails, great wines and amazing pies. I’d highly recommend it if you’re on 14th

Alida “Ally” Pham: This place is small-scale but great! Food is super yummy! Very quick service. Comes out almost just after you order it. Wait staff is great, and has great recommendations. Pizza is super thin and crispy! Cauliflower pizza is definitely a new favorite. Every bite is heavenly! They have some amazing appetizers and dessert options for those who wish to eat a more full meal. Come sit at the bar casually or dine in the restaurant. Great place to take friends or a date. Will have to go back to try some of the other options... :) no photos of appetizers: was too darn hungry!

John Coplen: I love this place. Charming and always a fantastic selection of Sicilian wine. But you come for the pizza! Something about their sauce is just 👌🏼👌🏼! My favorite is the Salami but they sometimes have this Vongole that is killer good! Capers and hot peppers! Manila Clams was also just rated one of the best dishes in DC.

Margrit Wenzel: Such good brick oven pizza! Braised cauliflower salad with housemade bread, omg. Mini arancini balls, holy yum. Pepperoni Napoletano pizza, yes yes yes. Good vibes, good food, good wine, good price. What else could you ask for. A must visit for a quick meal in DC.

Michael Barluk: Your food is great! But I really resent having a 20% service charge added to a take out order- especially when I would have tipped. Not cool.

Rebecca Mulderry: Food was fabulous, rich flavors and great combinations! Staff was so nice and attentive. Definitely will be back!

Jumbo Slice Pizza: what do users think?

Cheri L: I had jumbo slice for the first time in 9+ years after moving away from the dmv, and let me tell you this place still hits the exact same. My partner tried to order an entire pizza, but the lady at the counter informed him they didn’t do that, so he ordered 4 jumbo slices. They unfortunately, put them all in one box, but he realized that he screwed up by ordering 4 pieces for 1 pregnant lady lol. Needless to say it was our lunch and dinner for the following day and night.

Cara Lea: Pizza was absolutely amazing. Owners were kind and proficient. Prepare to never go hungry again because one slice is actually just a whole pizza in disguise

Timothy Chanthamala: Consistent Flavor and Quality. FYI the more holes in the wall the better the food haha

Crystal Stafford: Jumbo slice taste pretty good, sweet sauce.

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: Yep...I went here, I was in the area so...why not!?! We’ve all been here (those of us that have experienced the Adams Morgan/U St., nightlife scene that is).Located at 2341 18th St., N.W. Washington D.C. #jumboslicedc has been around for quite some time now. This food has acted as a savior for me, and many others, after nights filled with debauchery, and hedonism in the aforementioned areas of the city!! You eat some of this slice, you get home, you take another bite, you pass out!! That’s it!! Fold this pizza in half...you have an instant Stromboli!! Please don’t attempt to eat this super sized slice like you would a regular sized slice...the results could be fatal to your nice “stepping out” outfit!! TRUST!! Now if your in Adams Morgan, you’ll find a different Jumbo Slice every block, and a half!! You can’t miss them. This particular spot does have additional toppings (at about $1 each, the cheese pizza-pictured was $7) like pepperoni, sausage, onions, jalapeños, black olives, green peppers, pineapple, ham, even Buffalo chicken. You don’t have to get a Jumbo slice either, they have 12””-16” sized pies, calzones, fries, onion rings and Gyros. Look...this is a fun food, and on the low...they use a higher quality mozzarella/provolone cheese blend, that’s a tad bit more dense than having just mozzarella. Don’t forget to add the grated Parmesan cheese, and the red pepper flakes!!This slice is a must have in DC...it’s a bucket list item!! Try it...that’s it. #jumboslicepizza #cheese #adamsmorgan #staple #cheapeats #drunkfood #bigschlimsreviews #washingtondc #parmesan #redpepperflakes #latenights #foodie #musttry #bucketlist #thatsit

Wiseguy Pizza: what do users think?

Sajud Hamza: If you looking for a late night snacking wise guy pizza is a great option right in the middle of Washington DC.. you get all kinds of pizza plus the garlic breads are soo yummy you can’t stop eating !! It has outdoor seating but lacks parking and it’s a problem all over the Washington DC for parking!! Open till late on the Washington street!! Best for after party food!!

Tommy Byler: This is the best pizza place I’ve ever been to. I can’t recommend enough the Korean Chicken and Buffalo Chicken pizzas. They are pictured below. It’s around 5 bucks a slice, but totally worth it. The chocolate chip cookies are warm and but underbaked, perfect.

Maggie Wei: Really good pizza! I’m not really a pizza person because I’m usually not a huge fan of dough-related products but their pizza is pretty good! I tried the grandma, Margherita and supreme. All are really good. Pizza’s crust is thin and not too dry. I’ll definitely recommend the Margherita, it has a special flavor (I think it’s the mozzarella cheese they use have a really rich flavor). Staff are also all really friendly! I’ll say they’re probably the top 2 pizzas I’ve had in ny life so far (my top one is in NY Hudson valley area) If you’re visiting DC and don’t know what to eat, this pizza place definitely worth a try! Food is good and the price is reasonable.

Katlyn Martin: This place is great! The slices are huge and affordable, and there are so many options to pick from. Highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken and the Supreme… the Mushroom Truffle isn’t bad either. The only recommendations I have are maybe for signage (so people who haven’t been there before know how/where to order) and take away spices (pepper, cheese, garlic) - as it is, you just scoop them out of a community container directly on your pizza which isn’t the most sanitary option.

Tim G: Tasty specialty pizzas. Nashville hot chicken and Korean chicken are delicious choices – interesting flavors, balanced with fresh crispy cabbage on top, and a wonderfully thin and crunchy crust.

Yessenia C: Really good pizza with delicious flavors. Crispy yet chewy crust. Lots of great options to choose from. Open late night. They warm up the pizza to the perfect level.

Matthew Cook: Pizza by the slice. Whole bunch of different pizzas. All of the ones I tried were very tasty. Couple of salad options. Open late. Good price for the size of the slices

Ella's Wood Fired Kitchen: what do users think?

Mischa: This is a nice place overall and I think the pizza was okay, but I also think that the pizza could have been better. To me, the cheese was not very tasteful, and there was not even very much cheese on the pizza. I had the margherita pizza. In my opinion, it was also overpriced. The craft beer selection could have been better. The cappuccino was pretty good. The staff were very friendly, and the decor and atmosphere were very nice. So overall, this was a nice place.

Daniel5679: Ended up walking in on a busy Saturday afternoon without reservation. They somehow managed to still get us a table. The pizza was great and the drinks are to die for. Overall great atmosphere too !

Matías Gagliardone: Good pizza. The quattro formaggi is delicious. It can get really crowded over the weekends. Too bad they don’t have tiramisú.

TheBellehaitian: Great size personal pan pizza place! Good drinks too

Alexander Szul: Our first time at the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff and owners were exceedingly professional, the food was undoubtedly fresh, and we highly recommend the pizza. Their over definitely made a difference!

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: Ok, are you ready for a Italian meal that’s aesthetically pleasing, appetizing, scrumptious, with top tier customer service?? Trust me when I say this @ellaspizzawdc has got what you’re ready for, hands down! My absolute favorite meal to cook is eggplant parmigiana (theirs pictured-sliced and fried eggplant topped with mozzarella and parmigiana served with marinara and pesto sauce $12) and I must say that this spot has perfected it!! For this alone I will be returning...but wait a minute...we are not done. Next up is their IL Pepe calzone (pictured-tomato sauce, fontina, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, onions, and mushrooms $18), which was one of the best calzones I’ve ever had. You tasted each ingredient, it was simply wonderfully blended. Their shrimp and asparagus risotto appetizer (pictured-creamy Arborio rice topped with shrimp, artichokes, tomatoes, and lemon zest $13) was ok, we felt it could’ve been seasoned a bit more than it was...nonetheless it was a delectable dish. That Penne pasta (pictured-served with wood fired chicken breast cooked in a pesto cream sauce $16), geesh, that was soooo good and I’m not a pasta guy! Rich, and not overbearing...magnificent!! The pizza 🍕!! They have such a vast selection of pies, you must get one. Ranging from $13-$36 their pizza is worth it...brick oven, and fresh...nuff said!! Our host Chantelle we were thankful for. She exemplified what true customer service is...exuding patience, greeting us, giving us information on what dishes are popular, making sure we were properly waited on...you couldn’t ask for any better service...really! Parking was surprisingly easy being that this establishment is located in downtown Washington D.C. at 610 9th St., N.W. (parking will be metered). Extra special thanks to my sisters @barefootoracle and @tmcleod9 for accompanying me on this adventure...oh the Ameretto Sour (pictured $12) was on point too!! Trust me, you need a nice dinner spot with some great food and ambiance... @ellaspizzawdc is your place!! **This establishment is Covid compliant**

Hilda Kroll: Great location across the street from the Metro and the American Art Museum and Portrait Gallery. My friend and I shared Penn Quarter Chicken and Fried Eggplant sandwiches. The eggplant was okay, but we really liked the chicken sandwich and loved the fries.
