Loni Cohen: My husband and I went to Pottery Barn this morning with our toddler in tow. We had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted in a living room set and the budget we wanted to stick to. This was the 7th furniture store we visited and finally found just what we were looking for. PROS: This location has two floors with a good number of sofa sets available to test drive and numerous options for fabric. We loved having the ability to customize the furniture to make it exactly what we were looking for at a price we could feel good about (different fabrics have different price tags). We were assisted by Kassie, who was very personable, professional, and extremely helpful. She made the experience of customizing the living room set easy, enjoyable, and kept us in our budget! We will definitely work with her for all of our future purchases. CONS: Yes, this gorgeous furniture comes with a price tag (you get what you pay for, right?), BUT we were very lucky to purchase during a 25% off promotion, which made the price very affordable so look for the sales/ sign up for their emails. Also, I could certainly see what some customers have complained about regarding staff. Some of the staff seemed a little snooty and would walk right past us without a greeting or offering assistance. Again, Kassie was not like that at all, so just look for an associate who seems happy to help. Finally, Pottery Barn Kids is completely separate and unable to combine orders with PB so you will pay twice for shipping if you order from both. OVERALL, we will definitely shop here again and would recommend PB Bathesda to our friends.

Philip Raskin: This location is the first in this format. The staff here is very attentive and offers free in home consultations. Their stuff is pretty unique so if you need to outfit a kids room you should check them out.

J Powell: Updated Review 6/27/22 - Bed was delivered and I must say the quality is everything! I guess it was worth the wait. Still so undesirable to have to wait so long to receive something. ——————————————————————————— Ordered a bed Dec 2021. It was scheduled for delivery April 14 - May 6. They collected their money first week for May, now my bed is scheduled for Mid June. Not hopeful it will arrive then. Ordered TWO Tyler chairs in January 2022 with delivery in July. I paid for the chairs up front, boooo me!!! Received the first backordered email in Feb stating my order won’t be available until Aug. W/n the same week, got a second email now saying chairs will be delivered in Sept. Needless to say, I been trying to cancel this order since the first email. Lots of miscommunication on PB end. I was told I can cancel anytime if I don’t want to wait. Let’s cancel the order then … 3 weeks past and order not canceled b/c the manufacture is overseas and it takes them a while to respond. Finally got a response a month later and since the order was placed in Jan, it can’t be canceled. That’s not what I was told … Now I’m told I can cancel once PB has the order in their hands and they will then refund my $4300. Sooooo I’ve been waiting and continue to wait for my money back!!! I really doubt the chairs will be available in Sept since the bed has been pushed back and no courtesy email informing me. I had to log in and find out!! At this point, I just want my money back.

Lena Hall: Was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff at this store - they were attentive, but not intruding. One lady went out of her way to find the price for a toy I was interested in, she went to the back and brought another one that had a tag. When I asked about any deals or discounts, she informed me what was eligible for a current sale and I saved over $30 that day. Will return.

Catherine Dillon: Definitely worth the drive if you are thinking of visiting. The outlet runs percentages off certain items, i.e sofas, dining, etc. The tags as marked as usually not so far from retail prices, unless there is significant damage. We picked up some awesome bar stools and saved a few hundred dollars, with nothing appearing to be wrong with them. Great store- will definitely be back.

Sandra Ciarmella: As far as the merchandise in the store I would rate it a 5 BUT as far as being greeted a ZERO! The store seems to cater to the regulars. I have been in the store 4 times and no one has ever greeted me or asked if I needed help!

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.
