David Cochrane: Ms. Sabrina Younossi has been a delight to work with. We met Sabrina within a few months of moving the DC area and we had an immediate connection with her. I knew I wanted to work with her and that she was the right person to understand and realize our vision of our dream kitchen. We passed up on several reputable design firms for our complete home renovation because they only wanted to work with their own kitchen designers. I was adamant that I would only work with a firm that allowed Sabrina to partner with us in our kitchen remodel and design. Ms. Younossi has been exceptionally flexible as we (not her) have fumbled through different concepts for our home renovation, moving the location of the kitchen several times; she promptly comes back with renderings that fit our requirements and double checks everything for precision. Her recommendations on everything have been spot on, and she continually pointed out things that could be conflicts or enhancements in the overall flow and function of the space. We have finally settled on a design that opens the kitchen, dining space, and living room into one open area. Sabrina went from designing just a kitchen to all three rooms. I am extremely excited to see her vision come to life and to have her expert touch throughout the whole process to unify to the complete look and feel of the home. Finally, in addition to being a fantastic designer, she is a delight to work with. Sabrina is a lovely person who has been exceptionally accommodating and is always a great host when we visit her office. We often bring our two toddlers with us; she is patient and kind with us and them, so much so that our kids get excited to visit her. If you are looking for someone to help you with your next design project, save yourself the time shopping around and start with Sabrina. She will not disappoint.

jts: Sabrina was a pleasure to work with and we recommend her to anyone wanting a new kitchen based on the quality products that GKC offers. She is an experienced kitchen designer and knows the Leicht product line well. We wanted our new kitchen to be based on the current configuration (which worked well for us), and Sabrina honored that approach. She offered excellent suggestions and we included proposed design upgrades which we had not previously considered. One was using a gorgeous MCM orange color for our island niche – based on a display in the showroom. Sabrina helped us to be a bit bolder and go beyond neutrals and we are excited about incorporating that particular feature in the design. As a former engineer, I (Joanne) am VERY detailed-oriented, and Sabrina answered all my questions and made adjustments with considerable patience, as well as explaining why an idea wouldn’t work or what impact it would have on other decisions. We made several visits to the D.C. showroom as well as joining Zoom sessions, so it was easy to have direct interaction with her. Richard Park: An all-around great experience. Craig at USA Cabinets handled everything from the design to the production of our master bath flawlessly. Azad and his team did an absolutely perfect job on the tile, the lighting, the paint, the glass shower enclosure, the sink and the toilet. They even replaced the old copper water lines with new PEX all the way down to the basement. Every little detail and nuance were executed with precision. Throughout the process, they both helped us make the right decisions on the tile, the vanity, the cabinets and the fixtures. Couldn't be happier with the job they did. Everything was fantastic: The way they treated us, the incredible selection of quality materials, their professional advice on helping us make a selection, and, of course, the unbeatable prices! Yasin is a god-send with his customer service skills and knowledge. Although we went just for a basic back-splash tile, we ended up buying floor tile and quartz countertops. Samaher Sarsour: This past late spring while being quarantined due to Covid 19 restrictions, my husband and I decided it was a good time to remodel our kitchen. HUI WEN: People here are doing a professional, high quality job! We are remodeling the kitchen from a very old one. Melissa is my designer and she did a really nice job: giving me proper price choices but with good quality. She also helped me to choose the handle and the faucet. She gave me the final version of the kitchen within 3 days. Fazil is doing the installation thing, he is also a designer, which is amazing! He is also doing a great job of installation, and gives great suggestions of some problems of the new kitchen. Sometimes he has to stay in office in day time but he still comes to install everything after office time. Thank you guys! I love my new kitchen very much! Mary T.: Helpful customer service, and wonderful selection. A very enjoyable shopping experience. Would come back! Only negative was one employee, possibly a manager, Lisa. The associate checking us out asked her for help, she came over obviously annoyed with him then ignored us standing directly in front of her. This male associate was kind, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us. It bothered me that she would treat him this way, especially in front of customers. Maybe she was having a day or was exhausted but it was off putting.
Noah Merlin: Here is why you should never buy a piece of furniture that is "In Stock" at Crate & Barrel again: - My wife and I were looking for two swivel chairs in stock, so we could get them relatively soon and not wait the insane lead times that all new furniture has right now. - We went to Crate & Barrel on 12/24/21: Our sales rep at Crate & Barrel told us our two Drew Swivel chairs were both in stock (~$1,900 total for the two). - We decided to purchase the two chairs on the basis they were in stock. We were told they would be delivered in two weeks (two weeks from 12/24 is 1/7/22). - On 1/5 we received an email that they were being delayed and would be delivered in mid January. We called the store because we thought it was odd that items that are in stock in the warehouse could be delivered. When calling in, we were told that the items actually were not in stock. They offered us a $150 gift card once the item was delivered to make up for it. I did not accept, but they weren't willing to do anything else. - Every two weeks our item was delayed longer, and we were sent an email saying the items would be delivered two weeks later. - This morning, on 2/22/22, we received an email, stating the delivery would be in early March. It has been delayed for two months now, when we had a two-week lead time. So I sent an email to customer support, stating that I would like a 50% refund. Instead of reaching out to me, they emailed me to let me know my order has been cancelled and I have been provided a refund. I have now waited since 12/24/21 (two months) since the order. I have no swivel chairs. I have no order. I now need to begin the search for chairs all over again. I called support at the store, they said they couldn't do anything and I needed to contact corporate. I contacted corporate, and Elaine tried to explain to me that it was my fault for not reading the receipt and that it didn't matter what the sales rep said to deceive my wife and myself into buying these chairs which never came. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE. Crate & Barrel has now admitted to me several times that they have an inventory system bug that makes it so they do not know when an item is in stock or not. This could be true, or they might use it as an excuse for predatory business practices, intentionally misleading consumers into making purchases they may not otherwise. If it is true, they do not account for their errors and expect the consumer to pay for it instead. Goodbye Crate & Barrel forever.

Leo Sheridan: Liz D. came to my rescue when a 3rd party courier service lost a Christmas present! I can't say enough about how professional she was throughout the entire dramatic ordeal. Liz honestly saved Christmas. I've been a customer of Crate for quite some time. I even worked for the company many moons ago. I was astounded by how swiftly Liz handled everything, and she did it during THE MOST busiest time of year!
Jennifer Lee: Very nice community type center for shopping Crate and Barrel is great some nice restaurants and parking if you want to pay for it. It is near American University so you see lots of students around and lots of pedestrians. It's right off Massachusetts avenue so it is bus accessible only as far as public transportation.
Vishal Sinha: This is another good location for Crate and Barrel. The only negative shopping here is the scant parking options. Once you are in the store, the experience is worth the parking issue. The store is laid out well making shopping a good experience. It's hard not to buy more than what we had in mind! The staff is friendly and always ready to help answer any questions. The selection at that store is quite good and we like the products sold here. Or kitchen is stocked with many of the essentials from Crate and Barrel!

Mohammed Audi: Great quality, just downright horrendous service. We bought all of our furniture across 6 months and it's all really sturdy, high end and elegant. They've done a great job in modern design. If follow-up services mean anything to you, such as eventually replacing sofa cushions, you need to find another place. Any form of follow up requires months of chasing down, pleading and disappointment.

We were performing a full home reno project prior to moving into our new home, with a lot of different moving parts, and needed custom vanities built for four of our bathrooms (including our Master). We were on a time crunch and Hamit steered us in the right direction and even went out of his way to make sure the installation of our quartz by one of USA Cabinets' partnering companies (also just amazing to work with) was expedited once the cabinets were installed by our contractors. When there was a mixup with the pickup of our cabinets (at no fault of USA Cabinets, but rather our contractors), Hamit was diligent, professional and patient. When we had to reconfigure a vanity design due to our contractors not measuring the space correctly, Hamit went out of his way to secure the extra piece we needed expeditiously in order to make the new configuration work and delivered it to our home personally!!! Mike DiMaina: I felt like I needed a bit more TLC for my kitchen design than I was getting from Home Depot or Lowes. It's A LOT more complicated than you think to get all the details correct, trust me. I decided to head over to USA Cabinet store in Fairfax because they have the best reviews on Google. I met Anna that day and she was simply fantastic from start to finish. She really took personal interest in my project and tired to save me money at every place she could. She went above and beyond with helping me figure out sink sizing problems and appliance issues, all that had nothing to do with their cabinet sale. Sean the manager was equally responsive and great to work with. FYI- unless you have someone who really knows what they are doing, I would suggest you have USA Cabinet install the cabinets. It's WAY more complicated than you think and the small details of the finishing touches of trim, under skirts, etc.. are what is going to make your kitchen reno look the best. roger rufe: We recently purchased a home that had been remodeled with USA Cabinets. We had concerns with a drawer and a door in the kitchen but had no information on a warranty or when and who installed the cabinets. We went to our local USA Cabinet Store and they were very helpful in determining that the Fairfax Virginia store had done the installation and put us in touch with the store manager, Sean Yilmaz. Sean immediately came to our home, personally repaired the drawer and ordered a new door. He later installed the new door as soon as he received it. The whole renovation experience was excellent from start to finish. Jennifer Zydney: My best customer experiences come about when someone I do business with makes a problem go away. That was the case with Warehouse Showrooms. Knowing lead times are stretched, we ordered some outdoor furniture well ahead of when we’d need it. When we approached the date that we thought we’d take delivery, we learned there had been some miscommunication about how/when the delivery would occur. Warehouse Showrooms really bent over backwards to address the situation and make it work for us. Super helpful and responsive customer service. Furniture delivery guys were great too, very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to enjoy our Polywood rockers!

Barry Rosman: We bought 5 matching walnut chairs to go with our new Live Edge table. The chairs legs were too wide to fit 2 chairs side by side. After some discussion, the came up with an innovative solution to move the table legs at no charge. They saved the day and fixed it within 24 hours. That is service. They are very helpful, creative and very easy to do business with.

And most items are very customizable to adjust sizes and wood types and finishes to match just what you are looking for. We are really impressed and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for long lasting furniture.

James A.: I first became aware of Calligaris when I was purchased a new condo in DC and came across their store at the old location in Friendship Heights. I really liked their contemporary design which had the look I was going for without being overly modern. I was afraid at first that it was going to be too expensive but was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were for real Italian made furniture. Much better than other contemporary/ modern furniture stores I shopped. Other stores were either ridiculously expensive or if slightly cheaper felt basically like Ikea furniture that I knew would fall apart after a year or less of use. I ended up buying a dining table, buffet and media/entertainment center from Calligaris on my first visit. These pieces make my place and I've received many compliments on them and everyone asking me where I got them. Going on 2 years plus now with my original purchase and everything is still perfect. More recently I have since visited their new location in Georgetown on several occasions and have picked up accent pieces, extra dining chairs, a swivel chair for the living room and entryway furniture. The staff that work there are very helpful when you need help. They aren't pushy and don't follow you around when you're just taking a look, which I can't stand. They know their furniture very well and helped me a lot in making the right design and space decisions for my place. A lot of what I ordered was in stock or was delivered within a week or two. Delivery was right on time and they brought everything to my unit, unpacked it, assembled, put things in place for me and cleaned up nicely. Regardless of your style it is definitely worth checking out Calliagaris before you make a decision to buy elsewhere.

Angie Rhinehart: We came upon this store when we were out looking for new bedroom furniture. While we didn’t find that, we did find so much more! Don’t let the outside deter you, a treasure trove awaits you inside. They carry such unique and reasonably priced pieces. Plan to spend a good bit of time because there is so much to see that it takes several times around the warehouse to take it all in. The best part of this place is the customer service. Furniture shopping can feel like being fed to the wolves, but not here with Nico. He was present to offer help but not in your face and he was incredibly friendly. We found so many things we want for our home but picked up a few to start and are going back for more soon. I cannot recommend this place enough!

J. Colton Thompson: Literally the first place I'll go to supply things for my home kitchen. You'll pay twice as much at Walmart for something that's close but not exactly what you want. I'm constantly thrilled with what I can get here.
Sebastian: As a home cook, their collection of goods is very extensive, and very well priced. Cheaper than Amazon and much more fun! Don't buy any amount of kitchenware until you check here first. I got a large carbon steel pan for under $20 here among many other things. Everything I've bought feels like it will last ages, and stand up to heavy duty use. They have many little things that are $5-10, or even less. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, especially the Latino man working there :), whose name unfortunately eludes me.
Kye Lippold: Great selection of kitchen items, and very helpful staff.
Gregory Moran: They have every kitchen appliance and utensil in every size that you can imagine. Good quality, and convenient for restaurants to buy in bulk, but not necessarily all the style options for a home decor kitchen. Don't come here if you are easily tempted by kitchen gadgets, because you'll always find things that you didn't know you needed.
Greg Herring: I'm worried I'm ruining my own spot by writing this review, but this is possibly the best kitchen supply store I've ever encountered. The owners are present and hands-on everyday, they know their selection like the back of their hands. Product quality and pricing are both phenomenal, I can't recommend it enough. This is the kind of place where professional chefs shop but the public also has access to durable, high quality, professional grade equipment at prices that make the chefs' businesses viable.

Austin Graff: Best Kitchen Supply is a hidden gem within the OG Union Market area. With a small sign, it's easy to miss. That combined with people wondering if it's open for regular cooks, it's hard to find. However, don't miss out on the best deal on kitchen supplies in the city. When you walk inside, there are rows and rows of every supply you can imagine in a restaurant or home kitchen from salt holders to trays to knives. They have a row of dishware and table clothes too. The prices are so cheap too. My housemate bought an oyster shucker recently for under $3.

Jon La Marr: I would give R-Home Furniture 100 stars if I could. An absolutely amazing place to get custom, hand-made, and beautiful furniture at great prices. We've had endless problems with the "brand name" furniture places, but you will not have any problems going here. We hand picked our pieces and had them custom made/delivered in under a week! R-Home Furniture is family-run from creation to delivery. Every interaction we've had with them has been a breeze. We will definitely be back to get more soon!
M M King: The R-Home Furniture team is amazing! From selection of the wood to designing the table, bench seating, and end table, the service and support were first class! The finished products were great!
Jessica Kropf: This is a good store to visit if you like solid wood furniture. They have some items available to carry away same day, and offer custom orders as well. They also have a lot of large wood slabs on hand to select and custom finish for live edge tables. The location at 2936-B Prosperity Ave. is scheduled to close and consolidate with the Alexandria location (possibly by July 2022?). They have live edge wood slabs there still, along with rustic reclaimed cabinets and furniture, tansu style chests, and tables and chairs. Items are discounted at that location currently until the move, or visit the main location in Alexandria for a wider selection of furniture and decorative items.
Kaitlin Beach: This is truly a hidden gem. We were looking for a new table and found R-Home. The service was excellent, helpful but not at all pushy. I could not believe the amazing selection of quality, handmade wood pieces, including reclaimed and live-edge wood slabs. Prices are super reasonable for the excellent quality, especially as it's right in the DC area. We didn't see anything else close to this selection and price for the quality. We came away with a dining table made of reclaimed oak that will last us for the long haul. Delivery was great. We cannot stop raving about this purchase!

After we used the table daily for a year, we noticed the wood started to separate at one end-- we contacted the owner (Bram) and he happily fixed the table, free of charge. Even gave us a loaner for the days it was in their shop. They picked it up and dropped it off around our schedule. It looks and works great now. Talk about standing behind your products. Would definitely shop here again.

While I was browsing, they even offered to customize pieces of furniture to fit into any sized spaces-- (which was great for furnishing my apartment!). Jessica McNutt: I love, love, love, love, love this shop. When I visit, I feel like family. The staff is wonderful, and knowledgeable and amazingly friendly and supportive. What's more, they sell high quality and unique products. This is the only place I'll ever go for all my kitchen needs. If you haven't had a chance to visit Hill's, you are missing out.

It’s a small space, but it’s quaint and is filled with so many kitchen and household items that you probably wouldn’t find anywhere else. On top of that, the staff members at Hill’s Kitchen exude positivity. And they’re always willing to help you find just the item you’re looking for. For example, all I knew was that I needed a cutting board that I saw at a friend’s house with a “m” on it. The team member who jumped in to assist me immediately knew what I was talking about and she made the cutting board appear like magic. She even went as far to explain to me the price differences. I’m so impressed with the selection and the quality of service! This shop will definitely be at the top of my list from now on.

Additionally, she took numerous COVID precautions, including requiring masks covering the nose and mouth of all customers, limiting the number of customers to four (not four “groups” ie households, but four people— full stop.), maintaining an appropriate distance, and ensuring each customer used hand sanitizer upon entering. Highly recommend a trip Hill’s Kitchen for anyone who spends time in a kitchen or home. So. Anyone reading this! Check it out.

This is our fave’s, the IKEA food court! The warehouse was huge, you can also come to practice walking or exercise during extreme weather. They have variety of food selection, all come with healthy calories calculation. Our favorites always Swedish meatballs, fried chicken and the desserts. Have you tried their veggies balls? It’s taste almost the same as the meatballs, but more delicious! Don’t miss out on the side dish, it’s a perfect combination with veggies balls and the sauce. We’re all facing the same issues here at this moment, some if not all items are out of stock! You have to be prepared if you’re running a project, either come as grab as the stocks are ready or visit the store multiple times.
Samone Jones: Old faithful IKEA. Great new furniture. I came to look at the faucets and grab a quick lunch. As always you can get some great design ideas and gadgets for the home. My favorite are the duvets - they can always give a fresh look to a room. The food is pleasant. I got the Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes, and fries.
Giovani Guarnieri: Furniture and all you may need for your house and office you can find here. Prices are good. But you have to carry out by yourself and put it together in your house to... I like to do like that but if you don't like it will be a problem. Will be back soon
Mahjabeen Mitu: In general Ikea products are always price worthy and presentable, so you won’t struggle much to fit with your budget and planning. They have huge collection but their catalogue based marketplace will help you to get your desired one quickly. I’ve been using their products since 2013 and it never makes me disappointed. If you love to decorate your home and garden, really a great place to get a complete package of ideas! On a separate note, they have a Swedish food market of vivid collections, so you can enjoy chocolates, cookies, coffee and etc. of swedish flavor right there. Also, I would highly recommend to visit their food courts, foods are awesome! If you have an Ikea family membership, you will get discounts on foods and all kinds of beverages are free for you ☕️🍹🍸. Interestingly, they do birthday wishes to the members each year offering worth of $10 coupon and a frozen yogurt of any flavor🍦 🍦

Candie W: If you want to build it....IKEA and a little patience is all you need. I have a bit of both ;--) I frequent this Ikea because I want to achieve my own personal "carrie bradshaw" type of closet (the ladies will understand).....I also want a PAX spa cabinet. So, although I could give them 3 stars - I know they are 4 star worthy.... Here lately though, I am becoming very frustrated. Lots of things are temporarily unavailable or discontinued without notice. Makes it extremely hard when you have a large project to achieve. ALSO! This weekend they advertised their annual Julboard and I was exited for the festivities....BUT, as with everything else - IKEA missed their usual mark. I believe it is due to the pandemic but I am disappointed. I don't want IKEA to be in comparison to Walmart, Costco, or Sam's...I hold them in a higher regard....but, empty shelves - displaying things on the showroom not available - Costco type sampling....this is not you IKEA!!!! I know because I am here all the time..... BRING IKEA back!!!!!!

Lately, I see a lot of improvements in the home appliance and kitchen section kudos. I am like a kid in a candy store coming here. Charley: Overall rating of 4.7, went shopping in search of a specific type of bed frame. Was disappointed when I was informed they did not have that model in stock and opted to instead settle for the "Malm" variant. Buying the bed was super easy, when I confronted an employee he told me exactly what I needed to purchase. The bed came in 4 different items and the overall assembly of it was not too bad. However, take this with a grain of salt because I am a master builder and the process was mildly engaging.
Stephanie Jackson: IKEA literally has everything. I needed a table to match another piece of furniture I purchased from IKEA to place my record player on. Of course they had the perfect piece. It took 5 minutes to put together. Super cute and super easy.
Abi Maghamfar: Ikea is a great place for do it yourselvers and those who don't mind assembling their own furniture. The prices are good and the return policy is generous at 365 days! However on a recent visit to the College Park, MD store it was obvious they are having a hard time keeping their shelves stocked. Almost 1/3 of shelves were bare or limited stock. We had to change plan for a bed because they did not have the mattress we wanted and the support slats for the bed. It would be helpful if they mark out of stock items in the showroom so you don't have to go to the warehouse to find out they're out and then you have to start all over! On a positive note, I commend Ikea for their commitment to environment by installing solar panels all over their parking lot.

Jeanie Arnold: Tough to reach the right people by phone (their phone tree/menu is confusing and half the numbers go to voicemail and all mailboxes are full), BUT if you dial the showroom, the people are SO helpful. I am fixing a shower that has Porcelanosa tile and was trying to match tiles (people... always buy extra tile and save it!!) since the previous owner did not save any tiles, and was very sad to find out that they discontinued the tile I needed last year. The person at the store could not have been kinder or more helpful. I wish I had caught her name! Sara, maybe? She looked at the photos of my tile situation with me, made some excellent recommendations, and was just delightful. Porcelanosa tiles are absolutely gorgeous, too. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, by the way! Website hours need to be updated.
Fred Gober: We are the owner of a Fl condo and visited the Bethesda Porcelanosa and could not be happier from the day we visited. The material purchased was the most beautiful tile for both the flooring and shower. The salespeople were patient, extremely helpful from selection to purchase, to delivery and even "return of unused material". Unheard- of !!! The installer recommended was a Master and could not have been more professional. The condo is now a masterpiece as a result of installation of Porcelanosa. Give them a chance and you will be pleasantly surprised. Abdel is the store manager and is amazingly talented. Ask for him.
Mila Le: We have remodeled our 2 bathrooms with the help of Porcelanosa expert and designer Maria. And it was one of the best experiences ever. We are very grateful for all the help, advises, support and time that Maria provided and made our remodeling less stressful and overwhelming. We have shopped for tiles around but because of the great customer service and help with the design we didn't even wanted to deal with other stores or representatives. Maria also helped us with our 3rd bathroom remodeling a couple of years ago and because of her great customer service and support we returned back to Porcelanosa. Thank you Maria again - you are the best!!!! We definitely recommend Procelanosa to others!

Mark Ugoretz: The company is impossible to reach by telephone. Voice mail requires that one know the name of a person working at the showroom. Hardly useful if one wants to make an appointment or get information. I already bought several thousand dollars in Porcelanosa and had a simple question which now apparently requires that I travel downtown for an answer.

jennifer Sager: When we were dong our renovation a couple of months ago we went their showroom in DC to check their floor tile selection. They do have so many high end tile selection and its not so expensive at all. I would highly recommend them.
