Caroline Rose: I’ve been in this place a lot recently trying to figure out how to get my work laptop keyboard fixed. Each time they were very helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed to do and ultimately were able to order the part I needed and install it. Overall they helped make a very frustrating experience fairly painless!

Shannon A. McGhee: So, I dropped my cellphone and caused the entire screen to shatter. I didn't have insurance on the device and couldn't afford to purchase a new one. I googled "quick phone repair"; and DMV UNLOCKED WIRELESS was one result from the search query. I called them up and they explained the process. I needed my phone fixed as soon as possible. They had to order the screen for my device which ultimately left me without a device for a couple of days. Fortunately, they sell unlocked Androids and iPhones. I was able to purchase an unlocked device at a reasonable price for use until my actual cellphone was repaired. I must say they bestowed nothing less than EXCELLENT customer service. The technician who assisted me was very knowledgeable about tech stuff and cellphone devices. He walked me through the process with such ease. A great place for a one stop shop for any and all your mobile needs. I'll be returning to them for my mobile needs in the future. I dropped off my iPhone to run errands in Columbia Heights and picked it up about 20 mins later. These guys have been in the area since 2015 and were quick and professional—come with cash. $125 fix saved me having to buy a new phone.

I was so pleased with the service that on Day 3 we returned to have my daughter's shattered cell phone screen replaced; all that was shattered, it turned out, was the screen protector (which they replaced). Both the people we worked with were super helpful and efficient (& if they were rolling their eyes we didn't see it)!

Manush Mobarhan: I initially had a great experience here last fall, they fixed my cracked screen quickly and efficiently. However, in the next few days I noticed that there was a problem with the new screen in which occasionally when I pressed my power button, the screen would light up but it would not fully turn on. I would have to press the home button several times for the screen to fully turn on. I took my phone back to the shop within a couple days. Since the issue only arose occasionally, it did not happen while we were in the store. They said they would not replace it unless the problem happened in store. In the next couple weeks, the problems with the screen got worse. It would begin to glitch at random times and the sensitivity of the screen greatly decreased. I took my phone to the shop again, this time with a video of both the problem of it not fully turning on and the glitching. They once again refused to replace the screen unless I could make the problem happen in the store. Fast forward to the present, my phone screen has quickly deteriorated to the point that I have to get a new phone because this one is rendered unusable. I'm disappointed that this happened because I was initially so happy to find a place with quick and affordable screen replacements.

All of our screen do have a lifetime warranty against any manufacture defects as long as there is no physical or liquid damage. I do see in the notes that your iPhone 11 had also been previously repaired at another shop. It makes it a bit difficult to do a warranty repair if we cannot duplicate the problem in store however if only the screen is the issue we will gladly re-replace it for you at no cost and make sure its retested again. Please do stop by at your convenience and it should not take longer then 30 minutes to replace the screen under warranty. Thanks in advance. -Ali

Katie S: ~definitely call first~ Made an appointment online for a Samsung S20 5G screen repair to hopefully ensure the store would have the part in upon my arrival. I missed the appointment and called to apologize and asked if they had already gotten the part. They said they would order it upon the work deposit. So I gave a $100 deposit on a Thursday morning, the part arrived late on Friday so I went in first thing on Monday and they fixed the screen and I paid an additional $213 for the part and labor and a NeoFlex screen protector. I then noticed that my front camera no longer focused correctly and I went in on Tuesday and they were late to open by 1.5 hours and the samsung tech wasn't even in that day. So I went in on Wednesday and waited for the samsung tech to arrive, also 30 minutes late. He looked at the camera and told me that they could replace it for free and order the part but I don't live in the States and couldn't stay around for a camera replacement part. In the end, he gave me $30 back. I'm sad I spent a large portion of my vacation in this Mobile2Mobile and that my phone came in with super minor cosmetic damage and now has real functional damage. They are nice people but not so punctual, I would call them before walking in.

David Felts: Mobile2 Mobile is a life saver! I dropped my phone on day-one of a seven day work trip to DC. I was resigned to spend the entire next day at [nightmare carrier's] store and spend the ~$1K for a new phone, when a friend recommended Mobile2Mobile. I walked in about 30 minutes before closing with a busted phone - cracked screen, unresponsive display - and zero knowledge about what was wrong. The employee was unbelievably helpful and explained the possible issues with my phone and the costs associated with repair. If he were annoyed that I was coming in close to the end of his day, he didn't show it or rush me. He told me it would take him ~30 minutes to diagnose the issue and either fix the phone determine it was beyond repair. Fortunately, when I came back, the phone was in perfect working order. He even fixed something we had not discussed without adding costs to my ticket. Finally, he helped me understand the likely causes and helped me adjust to prevent going forward. Wish I had known about Mobile2Mobile the last time I had a phone die on me.

Sofie Miller: I came to the store as an existing T-Mobile customer to update my T-Mobile plan. The staff member who worked with me didn't believe that the plan I wanted existed, even when I found it on their website, and kept trying to upsell me on things that I don't want instead of helping me update my plan. It was clear that the staff member didn't know about existing plans or understand how to help with my legacy phone issues. I went to another store where they resolved my issues within minutes. I won't go back to this location.

Dani Weymouth: One word: horrible. T-Mobile as a service is good but the store at Washington Place is horrible. There were two reps, each with one customer, and I was next in line. Watched one of them take two personal calls instead of concentrating on helping the customer in front of him and wound up making a basic mistake. I waited a half hour before I finally called Customer Service FROM the store.

Q Lingham: I went to this location a month ago because my daughters new phone stopped working and a representative at the call center sent me to this location to see about getting it either fixed or replaced, neither of which happened because of us supposedly having to do a warranty replacement, which couldn’t be initiated through the store it had to be done over the phone. Whatever. While I’m in the store, the employee that helped us needed to see my license. He never gave it back to me, which I realized after I left the store. I called the same day and spoke with someone who said they would hold on to it and I was to pick it up the next day. I ended up in the hospital for a while and was unable to get it. I called this morning to inquire about it and was told that a manager named Briana shredded it yesterday because they can’t keep personal information in the store. So instead of mailing it they destroyed my license. Great. Now I have to get a new one. Thanks T Mobile, from your “stellar” over the phone customer service to the bang up job you guys do in store it’s a wonder why more people don’t flock to your company for service. 🙄

Honey Marie: I visited this store on my lunch break yesterday and was really in a rush. The store was busy and I was frustrated I had to wait. I was pleased however to have been greeted right away and logged in to save my place in line. The representative figure out what I needed and because it was a quick bill pay, he asked the two gentleman that were logged in ahead of me if it was okay to quickly take my payment so I could make it back to work in time. Luckily they agreed and I was finished in seconds. Ashamed to say, I came into the store frustrated but left happy. The rep quickly looked at my account and let me know I was eligible for some additional savings and offers; I wish I remembered his name :-( He even mentioned something about business offers. I scheduled an appointment and will def be back at the end of week to review what I have available, just started my own cupcake business. Thanks!

Ria Henares Garrett: Worst store ever. We added 2 new phones to my husband's account last March. We requested the manager to add insurance to both phones. Specifically, the manager said he recommended adding insurance especially for the first 6 months. So we thought he added it. In July, my phone screen cracked and I go to the store to file a claim and they said there is no insurance on any of the phones. So the manager indirectly said it is our fault for not letting them know right away. We do autopay and don't check the bill per detail. We trusted that the manager at that time added the insurance because he recommended to add it. But he did not. The new manager at this TMobile store won't even offer a solution. So my husband called TMobile and a customer service rep on the phone was able to retroactively add the insurance and submit a claim for us. They were able to provide a solution that the TMobile store manager did not give us.

Googled some shops in the area and stumbled across this place. Called and Mohammad said he could fix it in 15 mins. It took me longer to drive there than it did for him to fix my phone. He was upfront about prices and gave me several options that best suited my financial situation. Hope to never need another fix but if I do it will be there.

Clifford Hannon: I found this guy on google maps and I'm so glad I did. I did my research before going and the prices I found were higher than what he charged. He accepted my walk-in and had my phone fixed and flawless in less than 30 minutes. Not only that, but he was very down to earth, kind, and easy to do business with. I'd go back here in a second!

The Maven: I went to pay my, bill, and got a lot more than expected. My customer service rep., Erika, in trying to sign me up for auto-pay, offered to help me with my mal-formed home internet service, something which I had tried and failed to fix with T-Mobile several times and for more than 5 hours ) sometimes rudely and uncaring). Erika fixed it in 10 minutes. She went above and beyond, and is a super-hero in my book. She has earned my highest praise.

Gabe: Went in June 2019 and the rep was on his phone taking a personal call the ENTIRE time he was “helping” me. Traded in my phone and the guy said I would only pay a fee of like $50, which I paid up front at the time, only to find out now I was tricked into financing a $600 phone. The customer service reps are about as bad as it gets. Go literally anywhere else.

I told her i saw it online only $70 but she kept saying it was $85 for Magenta. When i asked about iphone 11 Pro she just answered like she didn’t appreciate customer who came to the store. She wasn’t friendly at all and acting like a person who doesn’t like her job. I just left the store without any question. Avoid this place at all cost. A bunch of liars.

If seen customers come in and be extremely unreasonable as well as being rude to staff just because of their own personal issues before arriving! Patrick Soltis: Tl;dr: For any action besides a new phone purchase, calling the help line is a better bet. It will take longer, but the people on the phone have the basic understanding and empathy necessary to help you with more complicated issues. Service probably depends on what you come here for. Any former Sprint customers looking for help transferring their phone to the T-Mobile network may be disappointed. I get it - my phone from 2018 that works fine is more difficult to switch than a new $1k phone that works perfectly. However, the employee who helped me here lacked a basic understanding of customer needs. She told me she couldn't help and suggested taking some other steps - that was appreciated. However, the moment I tried to clarify the steps (since the order of steps was unclear, and I had already tried some of them and wanted to make sure I was doing them right), she said, "You're overcomplicating this" and essentially checked out of the conversation. I came to the store precisely because the allegedly "easy" process was too complex to do on my own, and it's upsetting when someone who's supposed to be helping you won't even help you understand the advice they're giving you. In the end, I talked for 2 hours with a rep on the T-Mobile phone help line. They tried to help me switch to the T-Mobile network, then in the final steps discovered a specific reason why my phone could not switch. There's still a 50% chance it's a bogus reason, but they offered me a good deal - about 50% off the total price - for the new phone I was likely going to buy in 6 months anyways. It was a long and painful call, but my problem is solved and the rep on the phone made a sale. Store reps probably could've made the same sale in a fraction of the time if they were listening.

Juan B.: Terrible place. One employee charged me for a sim card. Then try to make it work. After 3 tries, he said "your phone doesen't work". When I try to explain that I always use this phone in multiples countries, he stonewalled me. The cherry of the pie? He charged it to the credit card and told me it would go away in 3 to 5 business day: my card resume came today with the charge so I have to talk to the bank. Terrible experience, it is a pity I don't remember the name of this guy. It was the short one. If you are reading this: be kind to people man. Specially if thy don't speak native english. Have some respect.

090 iniya: There were three employees working and helping others at the same time. I was assisted right away and they let me know of any delays happening while trying to get my tourist sim card activated. I was very glad that I got my service right away. I didn't like where it was located, in the middle of Chinatown, but I was very satisfied with the service and the staff. Really, the staff were great.

Emma Heath: I went into this store after work because I had recently purchased a new phone at a different location and the clerk had told me it had a feature that it actually did not have so I needed to exchange the phone. Upon entering this store I was told I would be charged $50 because I didn't purchase the phone from that location and if I wanted to do it for free I would have to travel back to the store where I made the original purchase. I've been a T-Mobile customer for years and was incredibly disappointed in the lack of customer service. As a customer, it shouldn't matter what location you visit - if it's the same company they should do everything they can to help you.

Give you an awesome deal one day to wheel you in cause you were gonna open a few lines (and to create an 'I could help everyone' atmosphere for all the other potential buyers around) but can't give it back to you cause you walked out. You decide to come back for it, but it ultimately turns into a waste of your time! She'll end up telling you: 'I'll meet you halfway' to a deal that's really telling you to paid or tries to downgrade you into getting it by saying: "you can't even afford a small payment?" Even when you are planning to walk out because of all the over selling she is doing, Joy would follow you to the door and lecture you on how she's helping you, like...giving you insider info, but really online searchable info... trying to help you, but that should be called doing your job. My advice: stop over selling and just do your job! Would have gotten my sell if you were more honest upfront. This store is for anyone who wants a good selling show! Joy will definitely not disappoint and throw you all the selling lines and extra emotions to create the deluction that you are getting extra deals, but reality nothing extra, just you might have gotten fooled into buying something extra... But maybe you were gonna buy the extra anyway and she was just giving you that extra big push...Haha...Which ever way you wanna see it. Just know what you are doing cause great seller are always into getting you caught up at the moment.

Karen: Not one to leave bad reviews but I was so appalled by my customer service experience that it left me no choice. Went in to upgrade my iPhone which should’ve been a relatively seamless process but with a brand new sales associate helping me, it took way over an hour. Lack of training was super apparent as the sales associate had no idea what she was doing and had to continuously ask the manager or another colleague for help on nearly EVERYTHING which seemed to annoy them instead. Management, please do better on training or at least step in to help when you see a worker clearly struggling rather than letting them struggle and keeping a customer waiting for assistance. There was no shadowing whatsoever. I’m not blaming the associate for being new and taking a long time, but rather the lack of support from colleagues and management alike. I won’t be returning back to this location.

Ray daSilva: My initial experience with this store was favorable. There were some issues relating to porting my phone number over which took much longer than anticipated but we all worked through it. I was also talked into leasing new SIM Locked phones from them which I could have avoided (my iPhone 13s were just 6 months old) but this was my fault for not asking the right questions. I wanted to switch to T-Mobile phone service because of the high international fees I was experiencing at Xfinity. While I was at the store, I asked about the 5G Home Internet and was convinced to give it a try as there was a 15 day free trial period. They fixed me up with a Gateway device from the store. That was on May 26. Today is June 3 - within the 15 day trial period. I tried to make this 5G Home Internet work but the service was just too unstable, slow and unreliable in my area so yesterday after contacted T-Mobile support, I gave up. When I tried to return the Gateway to the store today, I was met with an unreal customer service experience. The attitude was "Do you have the receipt? We can't accept a return without a receipt." "Do you have the original box? We can't accept a return without the box." I was able to pull up the receipt on my phone but by this time, they had actually printed out a copy of the receipt from their own system. Their response to this was "We are not allowed to print out receipts!" They then made a big show of checking the IMEI numbers to make sure it matched and then plugged the unit in to make sure it was working. After they had exhausted all their attempts to turn me away, their parting shot was "There will be a $20 restocking fee." I lost it. This kind of customer service attitude was not what I had experienced with T-Mobile support by phone. I argued and I must admit, I lost my temper when they insisted on the fee. Their solution "You can call up our customer service and ask them for a shipping label and return it yourself!" I left the store and I called up T-Mobilie support who could not believe the encounter and apologized. After he called the store to check on this, he advised me that he had learned that each store can set their own policy on restocking. So, he offered to credit my account for the $20 which he did on the spot. He asked if I would be willing to take the unit back to the store. In general T-Mobile support and service have been excellent but this was not a great experience. Sonya is the store manager and I suspect she is empowered to make sense of encounters like this but she simply refused.

Sofie Miller: The staff were super helpful, quickly fixed an issue with my legacy phone, and helped me switch to the phone plan I wanted. They know what they are doing and it shows. No one tried to upsell me, and everyone was friendly and competent. I came here because I had a bad experience at a different T-Mobile store (the one at Rhode Island Ave) and wanted a second opinion, and this is now my go-to T-Mobile store.

ceiarra Williams: I had an awesome experience! I went to the store to upgrade my nephews’ phones and add an line. I wasn’t quite sure which phone upgrades were available. However my Sales Rep Jay and the Assistant Mgr. Dewayne made the process so easy. They walked me through the transaction to ensure I understood the promotions available and changes to my account and monthly bill. Jay is so awesome! I felt like I was talking to life long friend and not just a sales rep. I left the store with everything I wanted and my nephews love their new Iphone 11’s.

Melanie Powell: I don't normally leave reviews but I went to the store on H street in not the best moods due to repeated issues with my cell phone. I was lucky to get Dwayne as he was patient, helpful and most important got my phone fixed. The issue was with the software and I was able to get a phone replacement. I highly recommend you ask for Dwayne and he'll get you squared away.

FITSUM with god: I dropped off my iPhone 7 with a cracked screen and they fixed it for $139.99 (plus tax) in about a 30 minutes while I ate lunch. professional service and quick turnaround. Definitely recommend.

Richard Osei: I had only had my J7 pro for less than two weeks when I dropped it on the pavement, breaking the screen so noticeably. Aron Schultz: Araina needs to work on her management skills while Chris needs to improve his listening skills and work to connect with the customers instead of talking over them. While I was previously with Sprint for 11yrs and have recently move to T-Mobile in the last two years with pretty great service all around I have to say this store takes the lead bad customer service with an extreme inability to connect with clients, and a quickness to threaten a call to the cops if you tell them you're in store for something you were told to come to the store for via the online support staff. Thankfully I was able to call T-Mobile to work through this issue but dissatisfied with the way in-store assistance was not able to connect or handle the situation.

Lora Mitchell: I went to this location in search of a complete change form an Android to the new IPhone 12 Pro Max. I came in and was greeted by Yonathan and of course once I told him the goal of this visit he immediately gave me all my options. He started with asking about needs, color preferences and which size of phone I’d be interested in. This experience was beyond great he was super knowledgeable and very professional! Being new to the iPhone software and what not he made it very easy to understand and showed me some cool features. Not only selling the device but the experience along with it! I must say he was absolutely correct ! Then going into to my payment options, I had the full intentions to pay for a larger portion of this new device. He went into great detail of how I can pay for all my accessories and phone monthly with my bill, which was a surprise to me and certainly made this decision so much easier! I spent about 90 mins in store while switching over data and him answering all my questions! All in all I definitely appreciate the help Yonathan provided and look forward to all future services and purchase via Tmobie !

There is nothing I can do." But I was trying to tell him I already called 3 times and that they said I needed to go into the store. He wouldn't listen. So rude. It was really annoying his attitude. Be nicer to clients. I'll stay with Verizon.

HorrorJunky 4 Life: The only reason why I am giving the store/carrier at Friendship Heights metro 5 stars is because of an associate named Ramon. I've had poor customer service from other locations in the past and was even considering dumping T-Mobile for another carrier. Ramon's knowledge of T-Mobile services and prices helped convince me to not only stay with them but I purchased another product. (I now get my phone & internet through T-Mobile) He is so polite and attentive that I only try to visit the store when I know he is going to be working there. It is great to know that there is one person on the company that can help me with any issue I have with my phone.

I'm always a little cautious going to third party places because quality can vary but this place is amazing. I went in expecting to need an $100 minimum repair for a broken battery that would take a few days turnaround time. Instead I dropped off my computer and received a call back before I could even leave the parking lot. He had started looking at my device as soon as I dropped it off and managed to fix my problem before I even left. They are very friendly and very helpful. I will be using them for any future repairs. Made my day.

Onochie Anyanetu: Wanted to switch to T-Mobile, but they didn't have the Ultra 21 512 GB model I wanted in stock even though I specifically asked for this model (I was giving up a SD slot, so a 256 wouldn't work). They rang up the 256 and started the transfer. Only when the tech asked me which files did I want to delete did I figure out he has the 256 model. Once I figured out the confusion I said I would come back when they had the 512's and would stay with my current carrier. They charged me a restocking fee since they couldn't sell it as "new" (really?) and ON TOP OF THAT, TMOBILE SENT ME INTO COLLECTIONS FOR NOT PAYING FOR A PHONE LINE I NEVER HAD! Amazing terrible service T-Mobile ... and I really wanted to switch ... my business will stay elsewhere. And for the eventual response from the owner, save it. Unless you're going to send me $75 for the restocking fee and $78 for sending me to collections your response is useless. 0 stars. Edit - T-mobile - are you ready to give me a $153 discount if I switch? This the the bare minimum to provide me with a better experience.

Pinkextra305 Jet setter: Harassment and Bullying by employees. Memories still hunt me from last year at this store. Nakina P. and Ayesha I. harassed me while I was at the store and created a very hostile environment! One of the regional managers reached out and offered a subpar form of compensation that did not match what I had experienced. I am extremely disappointed that Tmobile would allow such nefarious behavior by their own employees. I am still traumatized to this day.

Matt Navetta: They quoted me a monthly bill of $120, and said that it would be higher for the first couple months until the promotions processed. The monthly bill ended up being $148 and never went down. Don't get scammed by these dishonest employees.

He made extremely helpful recommendations for father and daughter, ensured trade-in credit for our existing iPhone 7 and then seamlessly switched over our contacts, for both phones, within 30 minutes. AA-Ron (Aaron) did not mind staying well beyond closing time to provide us with his expert assistance the whole way through. Top notch recommendation and hats off to this T-Mobile team for their professionalism. Thank you, AA-Ron!

Esther Kakene: I traded my sprint phone a month ago to get onto the new T mobile, everything was paid off and they told me I was good to go, 3 weeks later, I received an email from Sprint about me owing them $518 and some change, I called sprint, they refused to help me because they hadn’t received my Galaxy note 10 that I had traded in, I came to Benning road T-Mobile store and the store manager told me he couldn’t figure out why and that maybe the phone was still in transit, I think it should reflect somewhere once a phone has been traded in, I have a feeling someone in the store stole my phone and this is why they are all bouncing me around. On top of that, the manager has had me sitting here for over an hour, he is hiding in the back pretending to be on a phone call, why would he be on a call knowing fully well he has customers? Even if it’s a corporate call, doesn’t your corporate office know you are at work?

Raquita Cooper: I really like their customer service; even though I didn't get my phone fixed. I can really appreciate the customer service experience I had there. Brittney definitely seemed well on her knowledge about the company, the policies and my alternative steps to resolving my issue best as she can . James was extremely pleasant when coming in and Cornell was super attentive to me and everyone waiting in and out side the store. They are extremely busy and I can understand why, they provide great service. I will be bringing my other electronics here so I can guarantee I will get exceptional service. Like I said they are extremely busy but customer service was great and that's what I look for in a business. Highly recommend.

Colleen Brady: Cornell was incredibly helpful in troubleshooting around my cracked phone screen, identifying the issue was isolated to my screen protector, and quickly installing a replacement screen protector. Excellent service. Much appreciated!

Sean Blink: This a review more for the scheduling system rather than this actual location, which seems to be staffed by lovely competent people. The store hours changed but Asurion, the company that owns UbreakIfix still let me schedule an appointment for a time when they were closed. Pretty annoying, and concerning since this is, you know, a tech company. Geek Squad, here I come!

Diego Marroquín Bitar: I had a really bad experience at this shop. They initially "fixed" my cracked screen and charged me for a new one. The problem is that their replacement wasn't properly glued and it detached from my phone soon after. When I went back the guy was rude and uncooperative. I won't be using their services anymore.

Carsia Robinson: I have Home+ (great product honestly) to get two of my laptops fixed, they staff were open and kept me in the loop of things, gave me status updates along the way.

Patrick Kim: Similar experience to some other reviewers here -- they're an authorized Samsung Service Center but didn't inform Samsung that they changed their hours to close two hours earlier, so Samsung scheduled an appointment for me, which I arrived for on time, but the staff I could see through the window literally just shrugged their shoulders and pointed to the hand-written new hours taped to their window. Also, they're pretty hit-or-miss about answering their phones in a timely manner. And also not very knowledgeable about the types of Samsung phones (despite being an authorized service center).

Team World: This store used to be good.. NOT ANYMORE! UNDERSTAFFED, BADLY TRAINED, they can't do the simplest things.. and if you ask to make an appt, they tell you "no need' - then, when show up, they don't have time and if they do, they let you wait for hours!! AVOID THIS STORE!!! Incompetence rules there!

Kevon Harris: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueI went into UBreakiFix today with a screen that was fractured very bad and now my screen is completely new. Also the staff there was very professional, respectful and attentive to everyone.

John Doran: Holy cow, cannot thank the folks at this store enough for bringing a busted phone back to life. Wife dropped her Pixel 3a on Thanksgiving face down on a brick sidewalk and the image immediately went wonky and it was unusable. Called this store the next day and they made it like new in 60 minutes. Check out the before and after shots if you don't believe me. $130 for the repair and well worth it compared to traveling without a phone. Special shout out to Howard for being a real nice guy and making the experience super smooth!

Wayne HarRell: I was just dropping off a UPS package for pickup, but the guy who helped me was great! He juggled 3 customers and didn't miss a beat. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name.
