Paul Tinsley: Had a PHENOMENAL experience today at this Verizon location. Due to the current written reviews I wasn’t going to visit this location. However Lisa and Brad gave me the best service I’ve ever received from a phone service provider!!! I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon today at a very low cost thanks to Lisa and Brad! I’m very pleased with this location and Verizon as a whole! 10 out of 10 !!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Deer Spray: The guy that helped me today was very helpful. I forgot his name but he was the shorter of the two. He helped upgrade my phone, showed me my options, and even checked in the back to see if they had any phones which prevented me from having to wait to get a phone that worked because my phone was inoperable. He even called cell phone repair shops to get estimates. His positive attitude and helpfulness is another reason I enjoy working with Verizon.

Kim Heyn: I would not ever use this store. Someone walked into this store and committed a fraudulent charge to our Verizon account and purchased a new phone using an upgrade eligible account. This completely disabled our phone by upgrading to new stolen phone. The employee of this store did not check ID and gave the fraudulent person the new phone. This has been the most awful experience and incredibly inconvenient. All could have been avoided if employee had checked ID information. .TayKe9k is the rep id on receipt

Adriana Gill: This is the worst verizon store i ever been to. They messed up my order when i preordered the new iphone 13 in store. i asked the worker who was assisting me, did the order go through and he said “yea that’s why the receipt printed.” but when i called verizon support they couldn’t even find my order and said it didn’t exist. when i went back to the store the manager was unhelpful and didn’t care that my order was messed up. i had the receipt and everything, she didn’t even look at it. And the workers are untrained and barely know what they’re doing. They’re are telling me things i can do like trade in my phone and order two phones, while the manager is telling me i can’t do that. So how about we train the workers better so i don’t receive the wrong information thanks.

T N: My wife and I came here to buy a new phone, the woman selling us the phone was liar and a thief, unfortunately. My wife and I asked for a specific insurance the woman said did not exist.. we were later able to change it on the verizon app because it did in fact exist lol. We also left something that we purchased at the store and when I asked if it could be refunded she hung up on me… what kind of customer service is that?

Jon Saunders: Every time I come to this store I leave absolutely disgusted. Absolutely lousy customer service. Verizon says they allow broken phone to be traded in now. Oh your screen doesnt work? Sorry you cant! You have to be able to disable wheres my i phone for them to accept your broken phone.... seriously!!! Stay away people. Trust me. My girlfriend is pregnant and needs a phone so i had to purchase one outright. Would love to get a call from corporate.

Jazz Mooney: I bought a phone from Adan At the Verizon store on F St. and 12th NW. DC. They seemed very nice and the store until my phone didn’t work which is an iPhone X 11X Pro Max. I turned on the existing update and it cycle for an hour and 10 minutes which is never happened since 2004 on any of my iPhones. I took the phone back to the Verizon store at that same location and Joseph was a rude he was behind the counter told me to be a $50 charge to swap out my phone but that they didn’t even have any more iPhone 11. Then I spoke to Antonio who would even help me because he said I offended him and I’m trying to still figure out how I offended him. I asked who are the manager who happened to be Charlie Kulu. I told him how rude Joseph and Antonio we’re.. Nobody would help me and I had to wait in line for about 25 minutes which shouldn’t happened because the phone was defective and they should’ve taken care of me first, According to Jenna at the corporate office at Verizon. Finally, a very nice lady at the same Verizon store named Judy turned my phone back on but I asked for a new phone because this phone is not working-correctly. Charlie, the manager said he would order me a new iPhone 11 Pro Max, but when I called the corporate office and spoke to Jenna she said there’s no order for a new phone for me so Charlie lied. It’s almost like they’re used car salesman but in a Verizon store I asked for my trade-in to be given back to me so I can get out of my contract with Verizon because you have 14 days to do so. They didn’t know what happened to my phone they think it might’ve been sent back to the company but they’re not sure. Their attention to detail is horrendous. So now I’m stuck at Verizon for two years.

LaBria Weaver: I have no idea what’s this store’s problem! I have been calling them since November when I went to their store during business hours and they were not open they are never open. As you can see from all the notes on the door and the routers left outside. I drove 40 minutes to this store to return a router and they have literally never cleared their voicemail or been open. When I talked to Verizon customer service they tried to charge me for this stores incompetence. And watch when I leave this review they leave a super general “sorry for this bad experience” response. But why are you all not open during business hours or at least updating your hours to reflect when people will be in. Close down the store at this point

So I had to go and get a new phone which is one of the hardest things because your old phone is one of your most personal and most best things that you have. So upon arrival I met Ahmad Who was very patient and listen to everything that I was saying the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. He took his time and help me figure out what kind of phone I wanted and got me the perfect upgrade and the perfect color I would absolutely recommend going to this Verizon store it’s very quiet and not very busy so the sales consultants are able to help you with everything. Michael Maiorana: If I could give 0 stars, I would. My phone broke and I wanted to replace it before I left for upcoming travel. I was informed on verizon.com that this location had phones in stock to purchase and pick-up. I ordered online expecting to expedite the process/save time; however, throughout the day, I received no confirmation from the store. As I was leaving work, I called the store several times to check on the order and was unable to get through to an employee. According to their pre-recorded message, "they were unable to answer my call because they were assisting others." Yet, upon arrival, there were no customers in the store...and the door was locked (during their business hours). I stood outside along with another customer for 10 minutes until an employee finally availed himself from the back office. Then, sure enough, the employee informed me that there were no phones in stock.... and do not get me started with his customer service skills

The Watered Rose: This Verizon store is Great! The associate Kelvin made me feel very welcomed, had great customer service skills, very attentive, patient, informative & engages well with customers. I saw him handle 4 different customers at one time, he got every issue handled in the most promptly fashion that he could. Antonio is another great associate, he was very pleasant, understanding & made me feel at ease about some of the confusion I was having with my phone service & data plans. Overall this location will leave the impression that you can be comfortable being a reoccurring customer.

Tanner Hauck: I’m leaving for a big vacation soon and wanted to upgrade my phone to get better pictures and have longer battery for safety reasons. I also work until 6:00pm. Went to a different Verizon on Tuesday and they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Today was the last day I could upgrade before leaving for my trip so I tried out this Verizon store instead and was helped right away. Customer service was fantastic and I was able to get in and out of the store with a new phone in just under 40 minutes which is a personal record. So grateful for their help.

LaFonda Nelson: I visited this store thinking I would have to purchase a new phone even though I still have 3 payments left. The young man who assisted me, Kelvin Butler, was excellent. He discovered the problem immediately ( I needed a new cord) and rang up the purchase of a new cord. I also had some questions about the new iPhone 12 models and the new iPads which he answered promptly. This young man is an asset to your company and when I upgrade again, I will come back to his store. I enjoyed my experience very much which isn’t always the case in many retail stores. Kudos!

Scotty C: My 84 yr old Father needed a new phone, he drove an hour to meet me in Bethesda. We arrived this morning at 10:30 and the store was still closed, Saturday hours state they open at 10am. They finally opened at 10:40 and there was only one person ahead of us. I tell them my father needs a new phone, his current phone no longer works and it his only means of communication. They ask if we have an appointment and we do not. I ask if we can make an appointment, we are told there are none available. The store is completely empty. I look around and say “the store is empty, clearly there must be an available time right now for an appointment”. Nope, no appointments available. Once again, the store is empty. The employees here don’t want to make a sale or do any work. Avoid this store and I would avoid Verizon as well.

Airi JungRhee: This Verizon store is the worst one I’ve been too. The staff that works here doesn’t know the meaning of appointments or the waitlist. I came in and no one helped me for a good 20 mins when they weren’t even busy. A women before me was helped because one of the guys wanted to hit on her. Like what???? I was waiting for almost an hour even though I came in first and out my name down on the wait list. Does that make sense? I would give the customer service negative 5.

yurie park: If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Get in line, waiting for assistance, the employees go around to people who just walked in and attempt to help them although I’m already on the list, waiting for help. At this point I’ve been waiting for 35 minutes, still received no help. Not sure how you’re supposed to serve the people who are on the wait list if you keep assisting and going around to everyone who walks in through the door. Terrible service and the employees don’t know how to use the “wait list” strategy they’ve implemented.

Grey Gibson: NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!!! i went in to buy a new phone today. i checked in and let them know i needed a new iphone and was told that there would be an hour wait. I waited TWO hours for Jasjeet (the manager) to wait on me. We walked to the phones and i asked if tge difference between the iphone 12 & 13s and was told the store was out of phones. i had waited for TWO hours for absolutely nothing. Jasjeet said they could order a phone for me. i was very frustrated and told him that they should’ve told me they were out of phone BEFORE i waited for hours. He agreed and said that his team wasn’t trained properly. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. He did not try to help me in any way… just shrugged and said sorry and started to help the next person. he couldn’t have been more ambivalent and made me feel less important as a customer. I am cancelling my entire verizon service.

Stephen Griffin: Terrible visit for a simple matter to upgrade to new phone. Took ~2hrs for 20min job. Blamed troubles on staff from previous visit. Would stop work on my job to serve a new customer. Given all of the uncertainty and sensing an untrained staff person, I left to do the data migration, etc. myself. I still do not think that the old phone number was transferred to new phone. The manager was indifferent bordering on rude. I have been going to this store for over 10 years but never again. Tempted to contact executive complaints.

Four Winds Herpetological: Such a great staff on duty here. Familiar with the area, they were able to give us, not only suggestions of where to visit, but accurate directions. The room was nice and well stocked and the breakfast was good. Man, those potatoes were of special not and they can mix a decent batch of gravy. Everything was very clean.

I have been bouncing calls and waiting on hold for way more than an hour on every call. There is still no refund and no update on any of it. No compensation for the hassle they caused. Tanner Hauck: Came in an hour before close the other day to get a new phone. I work until six and had to metro so didn’t arrive until seven and they closed at eight, which isn’t ideal I know but it’s the only time I can come. Was just looking to upgrade from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 12. My parents had visited a different Verizon store and been told all I had to do was walk-in with my ID and I’d be able to upgrade. The lady who helped me did not make eye contact with me once, was on her phone the entire conversation, and immediately shot me down. Said there was nothing they could do for me. She made very obvious glances at the clock and clearly just wanted to take the last 50 minutes of her shift off. I was incredibly upset but left without a fuss and for that alone I wouldn’t have written this review. But then my mother called to see if she could fix the situation and maybe I could come in the following day. She spoke to the other employee working, a young man. And he was disrespectful and condescending to her, telling her “I’ve already explained this to you” when she asked for simple clarification. Checked out a different Verizon store today and they were able to help me no problem - in and out of the store in 35 minutes. Experience at this location, however, was horrid.

Al MacDonald: Great service! Dealing with phones and other electronics is complicated But the employees there explained everything in great detail! They were knowledgeable and helped me make decisions taking into account my specific needs, Anticipating which counts needed to be linked where etc. While I was waiting for my new phone to be up and running I encountered three other customers who were extremely impatient and yet the employees were not rude and were patient with them. It takes a lot of restraint to do that and it’s totally thankless. Well, I sure appreciated it and tried to stand up for them! I’ll be coming back for all my Verizon needs.

Evelyn Kent: The customer service has improved since I was last here 18 months ago (at the former S. Washington St. spot). Jacob, the store manager, really went above and beyond in helping me sort out about 5 different issues, including moving lines from other accounts and picking phones. Also, he ordered a phone for me, and I decided on a different phone while I was waiting for it to come in. He was pretty cheerful about the change and spent a lot of time talking through the options, and he was kind as well as knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

In between there were customers coming in. So while downloading something for my phone to do the transfer, he was multi tasking and helping other customers. He was very patient, thorough in explaining the solutions to the clients at the same time very courteous. He never lost his patience and made sure he assisted each customer with their problems and not wasting time on between. Wish we have more customer service agents like him. He cares for every customer that their concerns are assisted to in a timely manner.. WELL DONE SALIM 👏

Melanie Berry: I would definitely not advise trying to order a phone online through Verizon and picking up from this store. I called to check if my purchase was ready and was told it had been reassigned to another customer, then was told that I should have called the store to see if it was in stock before purchasing. Given that they had already told me that they had the phone but had reassigned it, this felt like they were trying to cover up for a mistake they had made, which was really off-putting. They also offered no advice for securing the same model I had ordered. I would strongly recommend going to an actual Verizon store over this one, both for online pick-ups or any other customer service needs.

I can only assume the staff in this store will only give you a good experience if they are going to earn a commission and get the review.

Mona Shaar: unhelpful card was declined in store, but was actually charged twice, yet account balance remained 0, moreover line remained inactive staff did not help, but kept saying speak to customer service, who are impossible to reach ended up paying double the amount, with an inactive phone line

Trenton Heard: Had the worst customer experience in this Verizon store. I was trying to switch from Sprint to Verizon and the person who was “trying” to help us was actually the manager. You would think they would do the best they could to try and get you into a phone at the store but he actually recommend we buy the iPhone at the Apple store and activate it at Verizon since there were no iPhone 13’s in stock. Very un-attentive and really didn’t care to try and help with anything. Seemed like he just wanted to rush us out of the store. Luckily, we left (didn’t go to Apple because we knew he was full of ****) and went to the Verizon store on N. Harrison street and had awesome customer service. Representative was able to get me into an iPhone 13th that the manager had came was out everywhere and to purchase from Apple. He was able to shop around and package the best deals for me, I even left with an Apple Watch, in the same time the “manager” at the Clarendon location told me there’s nothing he could do. I don’t recommend going to this store but instead, go to a different location.

Stu C: The representatives are always great but I will never sign another contract with this company. I was charged $400 and they refused to explain why unless I came into a physical store. I was overseas. I had to pay the full amount and when I returned they refused to address the issue because I was no longer a customer.

Alexandra Freidberg-Strauss: This is my first time doing a review on Google because Adeel at this location was so incredibly helpful. I have never experienced that kind of service or dedication at any Verizon store ever (and have been with them for 20+ years). He went above and beyond to help my mother who was having issues with her phone, offered to stay for 2 hours after closing to get the job done, and had everything ready for us the next morning. Oh, and he got us a much improved plan for the same price. I will definitely only go to this Verizon store as long as I am in the area.
