Marriott Vacation Club Pulse at The Mayflower, Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Andrew Tuttle: This is a very nice hotel. They have all the amenities that are necessary for a great stay. They have complementary tea and coffee in the lobby. They also have many ballrooms that host magnificent parties. When I was staying here, they were hosting the Australian Royal Air Force for some award ceremony or something. They had a party after and I could hear the music from my room on the third floor. Those kinds of things are very annoying. The rooms are very small. They also have two beds that are very small.

Ajay J Mundra: This property is very luxurious. The lobby is quite nice and the chandeliers were very nicely laid out. Additionally, the Christmas decorations was quite good. The check-in experience was good, however, the challenge was getting luggage to the room. Since there is almost hardly any parking space, getting the luggage unloaded and then separately park was car was a bit inconvenient. Regardless, the good thing is that the property did advice that we should find a parking spot in advance nearby. We used iparkit to get the parking garage for our stay. Coming back to the hotel, the room was really nice. The two queen beds were very comfortable and the wallpapers were nicely done. The room was really big and spacious. The coat room and bathroom were also quite spacious. This property is quite close to White House (walking distance) and it is convenient to take cabs to visit museums nearby. Overall, a wonderful experience with Marriott Vacation Club property.

William Collesano: Reps were very pleasant and helpful, facility was clean and well maintained, restaurant food was very good as was service. Only 1 recommendation - place or make available a coffee pot in the room. We often returned late in the evening - no nearby coffee shops or restaurants were open.

D G: Great location. Staff go out of their way to say hi\welcome\good morning. Coffee machine on our floor was broken all week. Club Pulse still closed. Makes little sense blaming covid for it since everything else is open with masks optional.

Murad Omar: Towels not clean. Shower had hair. The hotel staff didn’t think that the first thing they need to do is to apologize vs saying thank you we’ll tell the cleaning staff. Disrespectful

Christine Macaalay: I stay checked out today, very poor service. I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Air-condition is not working every night, at the 1st they send someone to fix the air conditioning but we were not updated regarding the air conditioning if fixed, when we get back to the hotel at night, its not working. Made a complaint regarding this issue but the front desk just responded that they will make notes and smile. NEVER AGAIN, POOR SERVICE>>

Fred Thomas III: The Mayflower is a fantastic historic hotel. Inside the hotel on the 7th floor is "The Pulse" which is Marriott's vacation club. Therein lays the problem as the vacation club offers a specific type of experience. A hotel is altogether different and unfortunately it's like putting a round hole in a square peg. No pool, no amenities in the room, no store and staff barely knew about the visitor expectations. Again, a great experience if you're looking for a high-end hotel. They do have the Edgar which is the onsite restaurant and full bar. Good food but a bit pricey based. It was too late but had we known the difference there is no way we would have used 2,400 points.

B W: Also no microwaves or kitchenette accommodations so good luck if you want to enjoy any leftovers from eating out..

William Roger: They gave us a squatty little room with a king size bed. At certain times of day you could never get cold water it was always hot didn’t matter which faucet you turned on. The food was below average at the concierge service. I think Marriott needs to take a major look at this hotel and repair fix up the little things. The overall ambience of the hotels quite nice.

Jeong Kim: Rating as a 3.5. Ordered the shrimp and grits and chicken and pancake tacos. Shrimp and grits were good but wished they would load up on the slaw bc needed a fresh crunch esp. for a shrimp taco. Chicken and pancake was okay but nothing out of this world. Was just ckn strip wrapped in pancake.

Washington Marriott at Metro Center: what do users think?

TC: Centrally located - near many of the city's attractions, and a good variety of restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable and the front desk was top notch. They even helped us out of a jam - due to our rush to check out we forgot that we had put some cash in the safe until we arrived at another city. Even though I fully expected never to see the money again, I called and they said they would handle it - a week later a check for the money arrived! Five stars just for that kind of honesty.

Jerome Mo: Hotel needs a little update. Service too. Coffee station in room came with one creamer serving and was not replenished! Room seems clean but again a bit behind for a Marriott. Sometimes I feel the lower brands like courtyard may even have better equipped rooms, without the fancy doorman who doesn't do much at all anyways. Hotel location isn't bad. Right off metro and three blocks from the mall.

Derek Kruger: Great location for this Marriott. The national mall, White House …. All within walking distance from this hotel. The restaurants within walking distance are great too. The staff were helpful from valet, front desk to bellhops. Even a Starbucks in here, even though we prefer Dunkin’ Donuts was still nice to have a “real” coffee shop in the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again. Tip- worth it to find your own parking garage. 1/3 the price

01carbin1: I worked at this property when I was in college. My wife and I were downtown so I decided to go down Memory Lane and stop in for dinner. The club sandwich was still on the menu and was as good as I remembered it. The friendly service and speed of delivery were appreciated....a tad bit inattentive after the food was delivered, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Anthony Hester: I'm ONLY giving a 2 because it has a bed. First it's in the worst location ever! Once I got to the front desk, the clerk was semi pleasant, but she kept trying to get me to order room service while I'm here. I told her I don't order room service, she told me I should start today!! I was floored after that. She really didn't care about giving me service just getting me to buy. There's only 2 elevators for 15 floors so needless to say it took forever to go 5 floors! Once I get to my room, it looked half clean. There was something green stuck in the sink. There were no cups for the in-room coffee or any plastic cups. It just didn't feel completely cleaned. I would never stay here again! My client must've thought this was a nice place, but not me!

Angela Thompson: Good hotel, great location. Right next to the metro. Also has capital bike share steps away. Doormen are awesome too! No room service though. And, no extras in the rooms either. No lotions, shower cap, pen and paper, etc. But, once again, location is pretty close to everything.

C James: This hotel is showing it's age. The lounge is closed (although the restaurant is open, so I don't believe the claim that this is due to the pandemic). Instead, as a valued Titanium member, they offered continental breakfast for two. There are three of us, so they won't even provide coffee and donuts to all of us. This is extremely disappointing. I plan to cancel the remaining nights of this reservation. I will not consider this property in the future.

Marco Sernicola: Very useful position close to the Metro Center Station. Large and comfortable room with 2 queen size beds inside. Clean, extra pillows, many towels and 2 small bottles of water... Unfortunately there was no fridge or free wifi facilities. The gym and a small Starbucks, inside the hotel, were very helpful.

Eteri Mach: Very disappointed in a few things: 1. Our room was never cleaned during the 4 days. 2. On the checkout day room service just kept knocking on the door in the morning, waking us up. I don’t understand why they cannot coordinate with the reception who checked out and who is still there. 3. There were provided no dressing gowns, disposable kits, or anything. When we called and asked for a razor, they told us to come downstairs and get it. Not very good service. 4. The duvet covers inside the sheets were soiled with brown spots. Otherwise it was clean, and the location was nice.

Carol Chung: Be prepared for insanely long waits for the elevator and your car ($54 valet parking only). Considering how long the wait is for the elevator, I would say this hotel is NOT handicap friendly. We would have to wait around twenty minutes every time we used the elevator. When we were there the first night, it was fully booked with only ONE elevator running. The next day they had 2 out of the 4 elevators running but still long enough wait that we would just walk from the 12th floor. The rooms are also outdated with popcorn ceiling and lots of stains. Would not recommend staying here!

Washington Marriott Georgetown: what do users think?

Rodney Ibrahim: Room was a perfect size for a family of 4. We had a double room + and we were anxiously waiting to get in our room after our 4hr drive. Unfortunately, even though we were after our check in time, our room was not ready and we had to wait almost an hour to finally unwind. As a Marriott member with status I expected better. Other than that the room and hotel were good. Hotel is centrally located and a great place to start the day. Breakfast in the morning is good and the staff who handle the food were very friendly. Other than the check-in snafu the hotel checked most of the boxes and we would come back if in the area.

Derek Kruger: Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down. Aretha, the woman at the Front Desk, is amazing. We were part of a wedding group, so many people with the same last name, but we were checked in promptly and all in the correct rooms! We got the directions for underground parking and shortly were in bed. The rooms were modern, the beds were firm, with a wide variety of pillows with varying firmness, and individual thermostats! A wand and a rain-head shower fixture, soft absorbent towels and plenty of counter space made for a deluxe bathroom. My only very minor complaint, is that the on/off switch on the bedside lamp is the same brown as the fixture, making it difficult to find.

Jessica Poku: The Good: my hotel room was excellent. I had an amazing view, a large couch, a nice bathroom and very comfortable bed and amenities. Everything was accessible (ice machine, elevator, ubers etc). I was a happy camper. The Bad: service was not great. Check-in was pretty lazy, no offer of welcome gift (asked about it the next morning and they said they applied it and didn’t need to mention it) - I thought the policy was to offer an option to members? They had a great M Club downstairs which I visited for water, and the attendant stared at me the whole time and just hovered behind me with a question on her face, until I left. It was rather uncomfortable. I also needed silverware, and when I requested I was told that there was nobody available to bring any because the staff were on break for an hour. Besides the above I enjoyed my stay and was happy with my room and view.

Kim Schaff: Aretha, the woman at the Front Desk, is amazing.

Lindsey Santoro: My phone reception isn’t that good so I could really hear her name but Anisha or Aretha maybe it was, a young woman at the front desk, is outstanding. She really went above and beyond to make a special delivery to my husband’s room for his graduation and she was so polite and courteous every time I spoke with her on the phone. She deserves recognition for delivering true hospitality. Thank you!!!

Jada Carr: Above average customer service provided by Aretha and staff. Large hiccup w room request. I booked 2 rooms in advance w the request of adjoining room and extra towels. Show up to hotel and neither request displayed in system. Arrived at 4pm (check in time). Rec'd 2 rooms side by side w/o adjoining door. Disappointing but was better than the separate floors initially offered. We were given a token for inconvenience of waiting w additional hours. Token could have been much better for time wasted w the 4 of us being displaced but ok, I guess. Never rec'd extra towels as requested but that's water under the bridge. I do appreciate Aretha attempting to do her best of her ability to right the wrong. Rooms 646 and 648 (2 double rooms). Spacious, clean, comfy, in room fridge and quality toiletries. The rooms were definitely 5 out of 5 star quality. Clean hallways, 3 speedy elevators, connected garage, prime location. On-site restaurant bar, conference rooms, etc. I would definitely stay again.

A suitcase and a baby: Beautiful hotel in a great location. In the middle of Georgetown, walking distance to the monuments as well a George Washington hospital. Trader Joe’s located nearby. Gym downstairs was clean and a suitable size, rooms stocked with towels and clean linens and shower pressure great. Will definitely return

Gary Jett: 4 day three nights stay. Overpriced average with lousy parking. They are quite good though at removing personal property during housekeeping. The area they (corporate as well) excel in, however, is taking your info and promising to have a team member reach out. Mostly no one does, but, when they do it is to take your info and promise to have a team member reach out to you. Oh, they also hope that you had a pleasant visit.

Rose Riley: Very clean, courteous staff, and good room sizes. We enjoyed our stay with the family. I have included some pics of the room to include the view from our window. The Marriott never disappoints.

Conrad: Nice hotel. Easy check-in, nice lobby, clean room. Put the do not disturb sign on your door so the room services lady doesn't knock to see if you're still there at 8 am

JW Marriott Washington, DC: what do users think?

C R**d: Great stay! Very relaxing and comfortable environment with very friendly staff. It didn't matter if I was having breakfast, enjoying a drink at the bar, or walking out... Everybody was super friendly and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation. I had the added bonus of being able to see both the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial from my room. Even saw the President's motorcade leaving for him to address the Senate. Awesome!

Casey Garber: Stayed for 5 nights 5/23/2022-5/28/2022 and it was excellent. We had a standard double room. Beds comfortable, plenty of outlets, large TV, very quiet. Room was spotless. We even had a nice view of the Washington Monument! The staff we encountered were all wonderful. We ordered room service one night and the food was very good and packaged well. The location cannot be beat! It's walking distance to just about everything depending on your stamina. By the end of the trip we were pretty tired. Metro station is only about 2 blocks away. Smart elevators were nice! Highly recommend staying here. My family of 3 had a great time.

John Tucker: Great location. Very nice staff. I had a base room with two full-sized beds. Only concern was that my top sheet was not long enough to tuck in...literally got in bed, pulled the covers up to my chest and felt a rush of air come from the bottom of the bed. Why housekeeping made the bed that was is beyond me... and when I tried to tuck it in, it was too short at the top to even come within 2 or 3 feet of the top of the headboard. Nice room otherwise.

Abigail Campos: Stayed for four days at this property. Centrally located to DC and is near several metro stations. Beautiful property and prices are reasonable. As a Titanium Elite, perks were limited. Lounge was closed but they offered 750 bonus points per day or a $60 breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. Interaction with staff was minimal but they do recognize your status and are reachable via the Marriott Bonvoy app. We did attempt to get upgraded but we're not successful. The room itself was a standard King and was beautifully designed.

Annette Tatum: Beautiful hotel, walking distance to all the monuments and the White House. Do not waste your money on a rental car because its easier to walk and not have to worry about parking. Excellent location and staff, will recommend giving this place a try when in Washington, DC.

Hampus Engstroem: Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. Stayed for 5 nights 5/23/2022-5/28/2022 and it was excellent. We had a standard double room. Beds comfortable, plenty of outlets, large TV, very quiet. Room was spotless. Smart elevators were nice! Highly recommend staying here. My family of 3 had a great time.

Brenna Belletti: Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated and clean. We had a lovely view from our room as well. Convenient Starbucks coffee located in the shop in the lobby. I would stay here again!

Nick Principe: Solid choice for near the White House. Close enough to metro, food, and bars. Valet was organized and competent, which is very appreciated. Staff were good... it was nice to get daily housekeeping again. The elevators are great - sounds stupid, but once you get it, you'll agree...

Asma Alavi: The hotel is neat, clean. And the staff is friendly. The room was spacious. There is a corner bakery right outside the hotel. The location is amazing. Just 5-10 mins walk to all the attractions. We loved our stay there

Nathan Viehland: For the price of the rooms the beds should actually be big enough for 2 people. I don't know why they put 2 double beds instead of queens in the room. Second off they are as hard a rock. I have been to less nicer hotels and they would have sleep numbers in every room. This hotel is a joke and don't recommend for vacation.

Courtyard by Marriott Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol: what do users think?

BC Turk: To start, the valet parking is outrageous but there is a garage literally right down the same road for about a third the price. The staff is super friendly. Housekeeping would speak to us and ask if we needed anything as we headed to the elevators. Everyone was always saying, Have a good day”. The amenities within the hotel room were good. We checked the sheets and filters and all was clean. Sheets are super thin but worked out okay. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sink/bar. All the you need. I like the security they have coming in. It is a two minute walk to the Metro (red line). Would recommend for location being close to a walking path and the Metro.

Mohammed Mohammad: Stayed here for 4 days. Overall my stay was great. My stay included breakfast. This hotel is great in terms of service and kind staff. As for the breakfast, it's not an open buffet style. They have a menu and customer choose from it. Though the choices were limited, we enjoyed every breakfast dish we tried. Chef Mo is an excellent chef excited these dishes in a fine great way. Ladies tacking the orders also were very friendly and helpful. As for the location, it's a 15-20 min walk to the convention center and a little bit more to reach the attractions near to it. The only thing they need to add is an airport shuttle which currently not available. Enjoyed the toiletries with the refreshing lemon smell. Overall, thank you guyz for the great stay.

Garrett Robak: Extremely friendly staff from the front desk, the cafe, management, housekeepers, and valet. Everyone was so pleasant and made the stay that much more enjoyable. The hotel is very modern and has very comfortable amenities. The hotel is also located in a really great section of DC where there are a ton of restaurants and shops that are within walking distance.
Response: Greetings Garrett Robak, Thank you so much for staying with us at Courtyard Washington DC US Capitol and providing us with feedback on your experience. Our team understands that providing genuine customer service is the key element that makes our valued guests such as yourself continuing coming back! We hope to see you on your next journey to the Nation's Capital. Hotel Leadership Team

Shane Broyles: First off, the staff were all amazing! Everyone we passed said hello, asked if we needed anything. Front desk were always attentive and we're able to help with everything we needed! The ice machine on the floor we stayed at was a little unreliable, but it wasn't too bad to pop to another floor to grab it. Two notes: First was that housekeeping didn't come most days until after 5:30 when we were back in the room. Second, breakfast buffet was pricy and not warm, but other options are available. Convenient to the Red Line Metro (literally next door) All-in-all, I would happily stay with them again!

Cema-D Cema-E: My family stayed 1 night on the 21 of April 2022. We stayed in two rooms. Room 617 in which the heating system did not work and the room was excessively hot. The second Room was 330 in which the Toilet did not flush. Had to fill the trash can in the tub to make the toilet flush. On top of that, they charged me 1007.00 dollars for the two rooms, and the rate I was given was 183.50 for each room. My math says they stole my money through their practices. I would not recommend this particular hotel. I did try to speak to the manager but because I was white she just told me too bad that's the charge. Be wary of this business.

Jean Ng: We read a lot of negative reviews about this place and some is kinda true. Parking is an issue BUT we found a garage just across from the hotel inside the ELEVATION BUILDING which a full day charge is only $16 max. We left the car in the garage for the entire week stay and just use the metro as our main transportation. The room we got was nice and comfortable. Although we have an issue with the AC. The temperature is constantly at 73 even tho we set it for 68. A little stain on the couch but no big deal. The room also have good noise insulation (maybe I just slept through it since we walk so much during the day) Big shout out to Miss Nu who checked us in. She just brighten our day and made us feel special. There is a refreshment table set up with coffee tea water and cookies for free after the breakfast period. Tons of food options around and trader joe’s is just 6mins away on foot towards Union Market.

DK Adams: This trip was a treat for me since I had recently come out of the hospital. The staff was very friendly. The valet man was helpful as well. Our room was very comfortable. I'm glad we went.

ESB NYC: Busy and basic Marriott in NE DC. It was fine for what we needed but I’m not too enthusiastic. Room was clean. There were some kinda gross stains on the sofa/ottoman that were unappealing but we’re not too fussy. They charge $45+tax for daily parking but you can self-park across the street for $16 a day including tax, literally 3 minutes walk. The morning coffee situation was not very well organized. There were also some strange service issues with the front desk. We stayed in the same room but we utilized two separate reservations, the front desk seemed very confused about this and they came up to our room with a rather confrontational demand that we come downstairs to check out and check into the room again although we had been told on the phone that we were good to go. Not really a big deal but I felt that the aggressive posture was unnecessary and left me with a bad taste. On top of that, I am a gold Bonvoy member and I would’ve been entitled to a room upgrade which I declined for the convenience of remaining in the same room. One thing that I believe some other people commented about is that you cannot control the temperature in your room effectively. There is a thermostat and you can make the numbers move up and down a bit but it doesn’t appear to have any effect on the temperature in the room which seems to be controlled centrally. There were a couple of evenings where we were uncomfortably warm. On the plus side, you are just a couple of minutes from the Noma metro station and there is also a Dunkin’ Donuts close to that. You’re also about a 8 to 10 minute walk from the Union market area which has a Trader Joe’s and some great restaurants and other food options inside the market. If not for the convenience of the location and the comparatively reasonable price, this would probably be a three star review.

Kenneth McIntosh: This Marriott sucks badly. Forget parking unless you want to pay a lot extra for valet services. Free breakfast isn't exactly free and the place is beings renovated. At least I had a great experience at the Marriott in Long Island, NY.

Marriott Marquis Washington, DC: what do users think?

Brian Metzger: Very nice hotel. We stay at quite a few Marriott's, and this is one of our favorites. Beautiful open area with a bar, get snacks, and big tables to hang out with friends or coworkers. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Everything is exceptionally clean. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and other stores within easy walking distance.
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit. We hope we can welcome you back again soon!

M L G: In DC for a conference, so the location next to the Convention Center is perfect. The tunnel allows for rapid access and no rain or weather issues. The staff are wonderful and always helpful. The lobby is gorgeous with plenty of places to meet up. For the price at a flagship hotel though, the room is just average and although clean looking, the shower smells strongly of mold. The bed's acceptable, but with very flat pillows. The lack of soundproofing is the biggest negative, however. Every night there are multiple sirens and quite loud traffic noises, disrupting sleep. Several others in our group have the same complaint. I've frequently stayed in rooms overlooking roads and highways, but rarely experienced this level of noise.
Response: Dear M L G, Thank you for taking the time to post about your recent visit. I was pleased to read that you found our hotel to be conveniently located and that you received helpful service from our team. I appreciate your feedback regarding your guest room and will be sure to share your comments with the housekeeping team. Should your travels bring you back to Washington, DC, I do hope we can welcome you back! Sincerely, Philip Shortino Resident Manager

Charles Hanskat: Great location if attending a convention at the convention center. Easy access from the convention center metro station without needing to walk outside. Rooms face outside or inward to the atrium. Atrium rooms are quiet. Room size is on the small side but well appointed with large flat screen TV that has streaming services too. Internet access is fast and easy. Desk is a little limited in size. Bathroom is shower only but had plenty of light for shaving and makeup. Good sized closet with a safe too. Beds and bedding are typical Marriott quality that is quite comfortable. Staff are friendly. The M Club just opened back up and is well stocked for breakfast and appitizers in the evening.

Victor Olszewski: Simply the best experience I've had at a hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing! They are so attentive and caring. I've never been so well taken care of. I left yesterday and I'm in nice hotel, but I miss the service at the Marquis. It's so rare anymore to receive accommodations or services where you genuinely feel cared for. The best!
Response: Dear Victor Olszewski, Simply the best experience; thank you! Your kind words regarding our staff are truly appreciated and I do hope we can welcome you back again soon! Sincerely, Philip Shortino Resident Manager

Lou Costanza: Excellent location. The hotel has a lot of amenities. M Club is open 24 hours and has a delicious breakfast with lots of selections including bacon, eggs, oatmeal, smoked salmon, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. Staff are very friendly. Comfortable bedding, the bathroom is a decent size and there is a safe in the closet. Fast response to questions and/or service requests via the Marriott App. Really like this hotel!
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit. We are so glad that you were able to enjoy our M Club and that you found our staff to be friendly!

Louis C: Beautiful, modern hotel with a huge lobby, tons of meeting space, and great views of the mall and capital building from the higher floors. Can’t beat the location if you’re going to the convention center. If you have access to the lounge you’re in for a treat. The fitness center is massive with tons of equipment. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Really, all around a great hotel.
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit. We are glad you had the opportunity to utilize the fitness center and that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful!

Heather Theriaque: The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. I never heard any noise from neighboring rooms, although there was a little street noise at times, not unusual for a city. I ate at the casual restaurant twice and enjoyed the food. Access to the convention center without having to go outside is very nice. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Some things could use updating. The towels were rough, the headboard was all scratched up and had a penny stuck in it. My view was the church across the street and the homeless and their tents. Made me realize I shouldn't complain about the scratchy towels.
Response: Dear Heather Theriaque, I appreciate you taking the time to post about your recent stay and was pleased to read that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful. I will be sure to share your feedback regarding some of the items in your guest room with our housekeeping team and do hope we can welcome you back again in the future. Sincerely, Philip Shortino Resident Manager

Megan Meline: Beautiful hotel, great rooms and bathrooms, quiet and insulated from noise. I would absolutely stay here again. Was super convenient to get to the convention center on cold/rainy days in the underground terminal that connected the two. Loved the water features in the lobby, and the bar was a good size for how many people were always there.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to post about your recent visit. We hope we can welcome you back again soon!

Ebone Cruz (The Entrepreneur Plug): Beautiful Hotel and perfect space for a large conference. Oh my goodness the staff were amazing, well to me they were during the entire conference. The conference I attended occupied 4 floor and even the upstairs area for workshop spaces. Covid procedures were handled well to ensure all conference goers were safe and centrally located for others to walk to if they didn't stay at the location. The inside restaurant had great breakfast and the lobby bar area was a great meeting area to catch up and socialize with other conference goers.
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit!

krishna panchal: Hotel was very nice. The staff members were very nice and respectful. The room service was excellent too. The rooms were cleaned and very beautifully address everything. The only thing that didn't like about it was the coffee I am just being more specific about coffee cuz I am a big fan of coffee otherwise I would have given 5 stars. The hotel otherwise was very excellent and affordable

Courtyard by Marriott Washington: what do users think?

Alex Kaplan: Rooms are clean but in need of maintenance. Night staff is rude and useless.

Hoyt Phillips: I was here for one night while in town for work. The check-in process was fast, efficient and friendly. Kathy was great! The rooms are nice, not big but they have everything you need. The view was nice. I ate dinner at their restaurant. It’s very small and not a full service place. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. The service again was very good and the food tasted good. The location of this hotel is great. You can easily walk to many places to eat. I’d stay here again.

Andreas Balzer: Small and relatively expensive room. Staff is nice. Fast, efficient and friendly check-in and check-out. Safe didn't work upon arrival and had to be repaired, cleaning staff once forgot to fill up toilet paper. Requested and received more at reception. Location is ok, short walk from metro station but always up hill. Pharmacy, small restaurants and bars in area. Surprisingly the hotel's restaurant does not seem to have a price list online so I didn't go there.

Puneet Gupta: Predictable experience. The room layout is pretty neat. Even though the rooms are small, they don't feel very cramped. The wardrobe in the room is a waste and practically useless. That makes the room feel a bit scattered. The place does not have a proper restaurant. There is a Starbucks bistro at the hotel, which is quite decent but with a minimal choice . The place is pretty conveniently located. Several interesting places close-by to eat. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

Zack Williams: Quality hotel in a great location. The staff was great and welcoming. Any time I returned to the hotel the valets, bellmen, and the receptionists all took a second to welcome me back. The room was clean and comfortable and I had no issues with anything not working. I am already planning another trip back to the area and I am planning on staying here once again.

Courtyard by Marriott Washington, DC/Foggy Bottom: what do users think?

Pam Fitzpatrick: Great location but I am not pleased with the cleanliness of my room. See the photos of stain on the sofa. More disturbing were the fluid marks on the bathroom door frame and light switch. What you see here is after I wiped part of it off with my finger. Glad I had my own Purell wipes with me. Was offered free breakfast as a compensation for this but my preference, particularly as we continue to deal with the health crisis, would be a clean room. I should be staying here for monthly business visits but I will be looking for alternatives even if that means it further walk to the office.

Frank De Jesus: Great staff starting out with valet up to house keeping. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Bistro restaurant serves very good food. All our needs were taken care of...will stay here again 👍

T Smith: Great Foggy Bottom location with easy Metro access and close to George Washington University and GWU Medical Center. Nice hotel with polite staff and parking available by valet only, but parking available... If you have ever been to Foggy Bottom, you understand. Enjoy..!!

Allison Price (Allie): Short visit but perfect for our small family do three. Great location! Clean and welcoming accommodations. Bistro breakfast pricey but tasty! They had a pack n play ready in our room which was so great.

S.K. Tan: I thought that the value was v good for this place. We didn’t valet park (we chose to park a block away at a self park garage). The location was good (near the monuments and also the shops and restaurants towards DuPont Circle). The staff was very helpful during our 2 nights stay.

Lightning: The vicinity to major tourist attractions is amazing. Valet parking is the only option for parking. The service is excellent, cleanliness is maintained and rooms are spacious. Overall, consider this if you are visiting DC.

trisha b: Pros: Location to National Mall Close to restaurants Fridge in room We had a sofa in our room Clean room (I was worried about that after reading other reviews) Helpful staff Business center Pop, water and snacks for purchase Cons: The street is noisy all night making it hard to sleep The bed (King) is uncomfortable, my back hurt every morning The smoke detector has a bright light that flashes and you can see from your bed Homeless living near hotel and you can see from your room Pro tip if you need to hook up a device to the TV in your room, unplug the Ethernet cable, turn tv off and then back on. Now you can pick your input.

Ryan Easterday: There was food crumbs on the floor, beer bottle caps on the floor, and the mattress felt worn out. And DO NOT even attempt to use the pull out sofa (ugh). When the front desk was called, they apologized but nothing was offered to remedy the situation. Definitely wouldn't stay at this location again.

AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Downtown: what do users think?

Valerie Hudgins: We travel all over the country for work and leisure. Hands down best front desk staff! Jasmine (Jazz) was an impeccable representative of AC Hotels. She greeted us with a smile-we heard even under the mask! She recommended excellent restaurants in the area and was quick to greet and inquire with us every time we walked in from our excursions. This is the type of customer service that makes us want to keep returning and keep recommending. Rooms were a bit small but the prices made up for the lack of space.
Response: Dear Valerie, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager

Steve Wells: I really love the location of the hotel. It's walking distance to everything and the neighborhood is good. It's more of a business location, so the tourist population is lower than other areas. It's not a great hotel for children which makes it a fantastic hotel for adults wanting a getaway. This brand is one of the best values in the Marriott lineup. This is hotel is a great example of all that AC has to offer.

Khalid Brown: Stayed here a couple days for New Years The room were clean and everything looked great. Staff was good and good were good. But the best thing is that they enforced the Liberty of what to put on your face. I can look over the fact that housecleaning didnt come the three days we were there if that valet parking was slow. You support Liberty this day and age I will come back over and over
Response: Dear Khalid, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager

H. Patricia Blackshire: Visited the AC Hotel by Marriott for the FIRST TIME! I was in AWE of the service by the Managers and Staffers. What brought me here was my affiliation with a local non-profit in the DC area. We had the BEST time! Food, drinks were superb. Even their complimentary drinks were outstanding. All of the persons in attendance agreed that we must visit again and SOON. So, for 2022 this place is our new go-to place for happy hours, social business meetings and more. Join us! Hope you visit soon!
Response: Thank you for the wonderful review, we hope you are able to visit us again soon!

Ryan Mathis: Stayed a couple of days for business. No complaints about the room - plenty of room and enjoyed the modern architectural flare. The lobby bar / restaurant was also great with espresso to get me moving and a lovely selection of cocktails. Would stay here again
Response: Thank you for the review!

Jacquelyn Collins: We were going to stay a week but checked out after one night. Non-smoking rooms have been smoked in - that was our first surprise. we went up to the 11th floor for breakfast this morning and were shocked by the terrible service. First, there was no salt and pepper available, second, no cream or real sugar for your coffee, no spoons available for cereal or yogurt, had to eat with a fork, coffee was not fresh, and there were no mugs for your old coffee. We waited a long time for them to come out of the dishwasher and finally gave up and used the mini cups. When we asked about cream or half-and-half for the coffee she said they do not have it and to use the milk, which was low fat and not what we would use in coffee. We finally went downstairs, crossed the street and bought cream at Whole Foods and brought it back for our family. I would suggest you put out salt and pepper packets, spoons, keep a clean supply of cups available, offer water which we did not get, and offer to-go cups for peoples coffee. you also need to give your employees a lesson in customer service, and using common sense. This is unacceptable in a Marriott hotel. We are gold members and travel constantly and stay in hotels often and have never experienced such a huge disappointment in a restaurant/hotel. Certainly not worth $20 for the breakfast and service. Despite the horrible experience, we thanked the lady as we left and we got a nasty glare from her. They were kind and polite upon entering but once we expressed our shock that there was no cream for the coffee and other things, their kindness/politeness faded to annoyance and an almost rude attitude. The fellow who worked the cash register was the only one who would give us the time of day. We asked several other employees who were working there for things and they looked at us with a blank stare like they didn’t understand English and ignored us and went about their business. I have never in my life had such a horrible and uncomfortable hotel restaurant experience.
Response: Dear Jacquelyn, Thank you for the review, unfortunately you did not stay at the AC DC Downtown, we do not have a record of your stay and we do not service breakfast on the 11th floor. It sounds like you stayed at one of the other AC properties in DC. Thank you, Ben Deane General Manager

Steve Tong: Great location. Easily walk to metro stations, get Uber/Lift, or just wander up to Dupont circle or Foggy bottom. Walking distance to the White House too. Room was clean and nice. Service was good. Good tapas from the restaurant on the ground floor. Most people staying are young or the business type.
Response: Thank you for your review & feedback!

Charles gehlken: Absolutely amazing. Understands the finer touches. Lounge has an eclectic yet grounded menu. Delicate and delicious. The rooms are extravagantly decorated, yet feel minimal in their incursion into your field of view. My only complaint is the lack of response from the television remotes. In internet mode everything seems to have a couple second delay or no response at all. Otherwise I truly adored the experience and will be returning in the future!
Response: Dear Charles, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager

Ashley Vicary: Staff were more than helpful—they were super friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Facilities and room were also great! Highly recommend.
Response: Thank you for your review!

Mama NYC: The place is not too bad for visiting. But it is a working area so don’t go during weekend. For your breakfast go outside for diner it is good but you can go to different restaurants around. The room is clean with a very good bed. But no place to hang your clothes.
Response: Dear MamaNYC, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Washington, DC/Downtown: what do users think?

Elizabeth Long: We stayed here on a Saturday night after a Caps game. There were tons of fans staying as well, which made for a fun post game vibe. The location was phenomenal. I can’t believe how good the value for the location is. The room was very comfortable. I slept awesome, which is unusual for me. Breakfast was decent and I didn’t leave hungry. Parking is not cheap, however, DC parking isn’t cheap and the price of parking for the location/length of time is reasonable. I love that they have valet so you don’t have to drive in circles looking for somewhere to park. I would never hesitate to book here again!
Response: Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to post a review. We are delighted to have exceeded your expectations with our convenient location, abundant amenities, and comfortable accommodations. It was our pleasure accommodating you, and we hope you will make Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington DC/Downtown your home away from home whenever your travels bring you to our city. We are already excited about your next visit. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Lovely0714: Great location in the middle of Chinatown! Close to the excellent wok and roll Chinese restaurant! The room was small compared to other Fairfield/Marriott locations, but it’s in a huge city so I guess that’s normal for that area. I’m just used to bigger rooms and bathrooms. But the hotel and rooms looked new and updated. The free breakfast was great except the juice was watery, could not drink it. Staff was friendly and informed us of great food and places to see nearby. Only downside is the parking is only valet. But the valet was so nice and were quick returning the vehicle without damages.
Response: Dear guest, Thank you for the kind comments regarding our ideal location and well-maintained property. However, we are disappointed that you had issues with a few aspects of your visit, and we would welcome another opportunity to show you this is not our standard. We appreciate the feedback and hope to see you the next time you are in the DC area. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Max Braun: Modern and humble hotel in an excellent location with clean rooms and great breakfast buffet! We had a great stay here for 2 nights of city exploring. The location is just perfect and everything is walkable, the free breakfast was tasty and with variety but it was crowded, served in plastic cutlery and the juice was disgusting. The staff was friendly but not very helpful with questions about the city or restaurants around (I can recommend the "Yard House" which is very near and they have great food and beer) and the valet parking is the only parking option and very expensive with 40/50$ a day. I appreciated the all-day free coffee in the lobby. The rooms were modern and clean with a huge TV - but disappointingly it was not a SmartTV.
Response: Dear Max, Thank you for choosing our hotel. We are delighted that you enjoyed immaculate accommodations and found our location ideal for your visit. However, we apologize for the frustration you experienced during peak hours at our complimentary breakfast. Furthermore, we are grateful to learn from detailed comments like yours regarding how we can enhance the guest experience. We continually strive to improve our services, and we appreciate your feedback. We thank you for your patience, and we are pleased you left the hotel with an overall good impression. It was our pleasure to host you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington DC/Downtown; we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

As Mark A: Good location with easy access to yellow, green and red Metro, restaurants, museums, arena and National Mall. Immediate block between train and our hotel was a little gritty, but nothing to worry about. Nice neighborhood otherwise. Hotel was clean, and service friendly. Decent free breakfast. Room was clean, but bathroom door has trouble closing. One of 2 elevators was down while we where there. We chose to use stairs to 7th floor because we did not want to wait for the one elevator. Not a huge deal for us, as we don't mind the exercise, but could have been issue for others.
Response: Dear Mark, Thank you for staying with us at Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington DC/Downtown and for your generous review. We are glad you enjoyed our convenient location to all that our exciting city has to offer. Also, it is nice to know you liked our comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We hope you will stay with us again soon. Thank you once more, and we wish you all the best with your travels. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Jenna McKinney: Pretty good sized room. Clean and moderately updated. The bathroom was a good size. The check was fast and easy. It advertises parking, but it's 40 dollars for the garage (overnight) so that was disappointing, and the reason for 3 stars. The star is the breakfast. There were eggs and meats, breads and muffins. Just about anything you could want for an affordable downtown hotel. The hotel is situated in China town. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and one attached (an Irish pub) to the hotel itself. Overall, good solid choice.
Response: Dear Jenna, Thank you for being our guest. We are pleased to know you had an overall satisfactory stay and that you enjoyed our comfortable accommodations and seamless check-in process. Our hot breakfast buffet is popular with our guests, and we are pleased that this added to the enjoyment of your stay. However, we regret not meeting some of your expectations and your disappointment with our parking fee. These fees are competitively priced and listed on our website. We apologize if this was not adequately communicated with you, and we will share your comments appropriately. We are grateful for your feedback and hope to have another chance to provide a better experience in the future. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Robert Chang: I’ve been staying here a couple times a year for the past 4/5 years and it is consistently a great stay. Super convenient location, and walkable distance to most DC tourist locations. The rooms are nice, nothing fancy but they’ve been updated pretty recently and are quite comfortable. One of the best things about this hotel is it includes a hot breakfast every morning of your stay. And my man Dion is there in the mornings helping out with service. The guy is super friendly and provides a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend this hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms, hot breakfast, excellent location and most of all great price.
Response: Dear Robert, We are delighted to read your kind remarks regarding your time at our relaxing property. It is excellent to know you enjoyed our convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and kind hospitality. However, we regret not exceeding your expectations with the breakfast we serve. It was our pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to another opportunity on your next visit to the area to earn your perfect rating. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Louis C: Just a pretty ok hotel. The AC units are all old and busted/loud. Gym was small but clean. Breakfast was… provided. Streets around the building are dirty and safety is questionable (I had no issues, but definitely got rough at night). Surprising that this place is priced as high as it is, given that there are far nicer places for the same cost nearby. Honestly if the Marriott Marquis down the road is only $50-100 more a night go there, hands down no question.
Response: Dear Louis, Thank you for choosing our hotel. We want to apologize for the issues you had in your room, and we regret not meeting your expectations. Unfortunately, the public area and environment outside the hotel are not under our control or influence. We will share your concerns with the appropriate individuals to ensure this is not repeated. We are grateful for your patience, and we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to host you in the future. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Kait: We're not from DC so it was not obvious to us that the only parking available was valet. We were told by the attendant that we could park on the street but that it wasn't recommended. We stayed for ONE night and I see an extra $120 charge on my card. That's a ridiculous amount to charge for valet. Plus, the rooms were $360-370 a night and they were not the greatest. I booked two rooms and in one room, the faucet leaked constantly and in the other room, the AC sounded like a super loud lawnmower where it was almost impossible to sleep. If this hotel wants to be charging that much for a night, it's not worth it to stay. On a positive note, the service was excellent and location is great. I just wouldn't pay that much again for what we got.
Response: Dear Kait, We deeply regret your disappointment and for not meeting your expectations for the price you paid for your accommodations. Our goal is welcome our guests with well-appointed accommodations with everything totally functioning well, and we apologize we missed meeting our goals during your visit. Although we have routine maintenance check-ups, we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention which will be addressed appropriately for the benefit of our future guests. Regarding your additional comments about the extra charges, please feel free to reach out to our front desk, as they will be happy to clear your doubts. We hope you will give us another opportunity to regain your trust the next time you are in the area. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Kelly Jackson: Wonderful 2 night stay! All the staff were so nice and Dion was an amazing host! They really took care of our group during our stay. Breakfast was delicious coffee was fresh and hot. Rooms had everything needed. Nice pub downstairs with great food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here, I will stay again if I'm in the area for sure!
Response: Dear Kelly, Thank you for the perfect rating. We are glad you had a wonderful time at Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington DC/Downtown. It was a pleasure having you as our guest, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another outstanding experience. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Elizabeth Olmos: Excellent customer service! When I needed a dairy alternative drink for my daughter the kind kitchen staff helped me have one for breakfast. Thank you for helping her school trip from Houston to DC be a safe and enjoyable experience. I really appreciated the accommodations made for her in this hotel. You know a great place to stay is when costumer service is excellent!
Response: Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for your kind review regarding your stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington DC/Downtown. It is a pleasure to know we exceeded your expectations with our hospitality and accommodations. We strive to make sure every guest has a stress-free and relaxing visit, and we are happy we were successful in making you and your daughter have a comfortable experience with us. We will be sure to share your compliments with our team. Please come back and see us again on your next visit to the DC area. Thank you, Ebony Moore General Manager

Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard: what do users think?

Kacey Ripley: We stayed here with our two young kids and had a great experience. The bistro took such great care of us at breakfast, and we couldn’t believe how delicious the food was for a little cafe. The hotel was clean and well-maintained which has been our typical experience with Marriott. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and we were able to walk to the Capitol in just a few minutes. I’d stay here again.

Lisa H: There are a few staples I value in a hotel (i.e. safety, quiet, clean), but the customer service is what will wow me. The two gentlemen who work at night were incredibly personable, helpful and caring. What took it to the next level was this: they gladly coordinated an accommodation I needed. Then, shortly after I got to my room, one of them called to ensure it was okay. I've never had someone be that attentive at a Courtyard. Its close proximity to Whole Foods was an added perk!

Derek Kruger: Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This site will compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you definitely won't regret it. There are a few staples I value in a hotel (i.e. safety, quiet, clean), but the customer service is what will wow me.

Kristina M: Truly wish I could give this location a zero. Customer service completely horrible and they have no concern for your safety. Limited parking is an understatement. I would advise you to arrive early to get valet or you'll be left clutching your purse as you navigate the seedy neighbor. Hands down the worst Marriott I have ever attempted to check-in too. I ended up leaving and booking a room at the Hilton. This was a waste of money but there is no price for my piece of mind nor will I tolerate poor service.

Heather Smith: Overall typical of this brand. Maybe I have to reset my expectations though post COVID. Only cleaned if ask the day before. Ok, got it. But I just wanted my trash removed daily. If full clean not necessary, would like an option to properly dispose of the trash. I was not given soap for sink. Twice. I was given body lotion. Thanks, but I would rather be clean. Bought my own. Nobody was flat out rude, but some staff (mostly overnight) acted like I was an inconvenience. My key kept having issues and needed it reset multiple times. Had issues with the lock not fully working and door would get stuck. I did not park a vehicle on site, but a co worker tried for 1 might and was told full, go park at Whole Foods. Not far, but still a block or so away. At least they had an option available though. Clean, most people nice, location super convenient, felt perfectly safe.

James Garcia: This was without question the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Check in is at 4pm our room was not ready until 6pm. We were supposed to have a roll away. That never happened. There was no parking available. The front desk staff just complains about their situation (we were fully booked last night) and says things like “don’t catch an attitude”. This place is so poorly run.

Remy 2BADD: This hotel saved us from the IVY CITY MOTEL we called other hotels at 9 am to get a room and no one could get us in until 3. Courtyard instantly took care of us our room was ready after maybe about a 15 minute drive they gave us water the rooms were nice and clean everything was neat that night we had a mix-up with our Uber eats the front desk worker and the security guard were awesome I stood down and waited for my food they had great conversation just awesome people thanks again courtyard by Marriott you made our stay awesome five stars! And it was my birthday weekend thanks for coming to the rescue

Andrew Brown: The staff here were amazing with accommodating my early check in and late check out. Everything was clean and the staff remembered my name. Travel can be stressful so these little things count. I look forward to my next trip to the Navy Yard!

mikel myles: Customer Service and Communication is off! Upon purchasing 2 rms for approx $295 for 1 night I was expecting a little better customer service than I received but sometimes it is your own people that treat you in such a rude way. I walked in in a pleasant mood. Happy because it was a big day for me and my son who was going to his prom. I stood in line. Waited and saw how Abdullah treated the guest in front of me. And how the other young lady (a black female) did as well. Both giving their customers a welcome bag that had water and a breakfast bar in it with a smile and pleasant attitude. Upon arriving on Saturday after I had called and spoke with a male (Caucasian or Hispanic) on a couple occasions (1) to check that my 3rd party reservation was there and (2) to also see about using a rm to set up for a couple hours for prom pictures. The gentleman was very kind over the phone and in person. Prior to check in we stopped by. This particular guy said it would be ok for us to use a room told me and the other parent. He never mentioned a time limit or a fee. He had a technician open up the Admiral rooms on the 2nd floor for us to view and pick. We left out of the hotel happy thinking we were good for prom day set up and continued preparing with things such as a ballon backdrop planned to have a small food set up not knowing that when we arrived the following weekend on June 11 upon checking in with Abdullah that we were going to be ONLY allotted 15 mins to set up our balloon arrangement and take pictures plus we were made aware that we should’ve paid a fee for the room. Totally unaware and disturbed by what I was being told. Abdullah said ok I will give you a little more time just know we have to set up for a church coming in the next morning. It was 5/6 pm when guests started arriving. Approx 7:30 pm Abdullah came up to tell us our time was up they needed to set up for the church. Within 10-15 mins we had our ppl come out the room and a couple of the ladies stayed to clean up and set back up the 12 chairs and podium for church as it was. In the meantime I passed by Abdullah several times up until at least 10 pm. He never called me over to discuss anything about the room. Upon check out I called to see if both rooms charged on my card incidental charges were returned. That’s when I was notified by a rude young lady (the black female) that “We are charging your card $150.. the room was a mess!”.. Now I set the 12 chairs and podium up myself.. I saw the young lady carefully pop the balloons and take the confetti filled ones outside to pop. The food we had was pizza and nuggets that was nicely placed on 2 table clothes that we scooped up and trashed. To my knowledge the room was cleaned. A young man working there who had our room changed because the AC wasn’t working told me specifically “Yall are good we just had 1 bag of trash to take out”. So the attitude and the charge was a shock to me at this point! In the end I wish I had taken pictures of the room before we started and after, I wished I would have gotten the first gentleman’s name, I wish there were better communication between everyone regardless of skin color because I paid the same as everyone else and I was not rude even after I was told I could only get 15 mins, and also I wish I didn’t have to come back down to the front desk to get our welcome bags that was given to everyone else with a smile after I purchased 2 rooms at this hotel! End result.. **The rooms are comfortable and if there’s a problem the staff is willing to move you to another room. **For the Meeting Room I was not charged $150/$500 although they tried to charge my card that I used specifically for the hotel fees $150 before speaking to me. It did not work. So the new manager onboard said they just kept the $50 incidental fee. Which I was ok with. She was pleasant and apologized. The principle of the matter is we spoke to someone, came in person prior to our check in date to make sure. We did our part. The Staff should’ve done better and they also should’ve been on the same page.

Tucson Razorbacks: Service is par excellence! Quintessential! Roomy. Easy parking (for fee) nearby for all business class patrons. Recommended. Customer service top shelf! Convenient location!

AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Convention Center: what do users think?

Jacqueline Cheng: Overall a cute hotel in a good location, would consider staying here again if needed. Pros: location. Easy walk to most restaurants and near public parking if you need to leave your car for a few days. Beautiful decor, hot water in the shower, modern design, and comfortable bed. Cons: rooms are very small with minimal workspace. Sink area is separate from the shower and toilet. There is a lounge or club on a high floor so you may encounter people coming and going to that.
Response: Thanks or the 4 stars Jacqueline! We know you had many options to choose from while staying in DC and were honored to have you as our guest! Safe Travels, Christopher

Leah Threlkeld: We’re only halfway through our stay… the rooms are pretty nice and clean. However, for being a Marriott property (usually very family friendly) this place is 100% not good for kids. We had a local friend join us after dinner for a casual drink by the fireplace and witnessed what can only be defined as debauchery. It was not late night by any means. Prior to 11pm… a fight almost broke out, the police were called… one lady was so drunk she had her head down on a table and involuntarily vomited on the floor, repeatedly. The manager was informed but didn’t seem to do much about the situation. We wrapped up our drinks promptly and headed to our rooms. Our local friend (who’s originally from NYC) said she had never seen anything like this at a hotel bar… Even if we hadn’t brought our kids, we would never stay here again. What a mess.
Response: I'm so sorry for your experience Leah. Thanks for your feedback, I hope the folks who caused the problem read it too:) Christopher

Olivia Lee: I love rooms without carpeting. You know for sure it gets a better clean. Spacious rooms for something so close to town. Bright well lit bathrooms and clean showers. With enough room for two people to move around inside. Great that lifts are card enabled only.
Response: Thanks for sharing your experience Olivia. Come back and see us again soon! Christopher

Justin B.: Really nice hotel! Very friendly and considerate staff. Clean rooms. Not the best view, but a great location. Love the modern look.If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely be back! Highly recommend.
Response: Yay! We loved having you Justin B. Travel safe, come see us again soon.

Laura Yasso: I stayed there with my family this past weekend and had a great time. The hotel was clean and better located than I anticipated. There were lots of great options for food in the area and only 20 minutes walking to the White House and mall. The big negative was the social club which was noisy and intrusive. I had to wear noise-canceling headphones to sleep both nights. Glad I had read the reviews beforehand and knew what to expect. The front desk staff could have given me a better-located room because I asked to be on a floor far away from the club and in the end was right under it.
Response: Thanks for sharing your experience Laura. We also love our walkability to all of the hot spots in DC and amazing restaurants to be enjoyed as well. I will admit not having a rooftop bar open allowed for many complaints. Now that we have a rooftop open we still garner complaints. We're still trying to find the balance of what can satisfy all of our guests expectations. We appreciate your feedback! Christopher

Charles Caruso: Have always wanted to try out a AC property and finally did. At check in the desk agent was very friendly, a house attendant brought towels to our room and he was also very friendly. With that being said I must say I wish I would have read the reviews before staying at this property, typically I do but it was such a last minute trip I did not. The parking lot they recommend across the street is not the most ideal when wanting to feel secure, half the parking lot was blocked and you could only go through the first aisle or through open parking spots, not sure why half the entrance was blocked with no attendant there to get to the other side. Car’s parked however they wanted and the parking was very tight, I’m sure cars get hit a lot in that parking lot. I know it’s not the hotel’s property but if you plan on parking it is not the best parking situation, even the desk agent wasn’t very confident with the parking situation which made me uneasy. We were assigned to the 13th floor which is under the nightclub which was very loud and you could feel the thumping of the music, luckily we brought a fan and it drowned some of the music out. There was a dog around us barking constantly in the morning/afternoon/evening luckily not at night. The shower head on the ceiling had no pressure and the hand held hanging on the wall had so much build up it made some of the jets shoot water out so violently it was dreadful taking a shower, the water constantly kept going cold even though it was on the hottest setting sadly that was the only way to get some warm water. I was truly excited to try out a AC hotel but this was not the experience I was expecting. Typically the highest floor is the best at a hotel but I think at this hotel that is not the case, the highest floor is the loudest and probably the most undesirable.
Response: Hi Charles, Thanks for sharing your experience. We do greatly appreciate and value your business and constructive feedback. We're rarely perfect but our Team does aim to exceed our guests experience and I'm terribly sorry we failed you. When presented with problems or requests we're eager to find a solution or fix what we can such the shower issue you mentioned which our Engineering Team took care of already. We love our guests with dogs but not when they seem to think we're a doggy day care...for our pet owners reading this, please do not leave your dog unattended so our great guests like Charles do not have to hear him or her barking. As a dog owner, dogs should not be left unattended in a hotel room just as you wouldn't leave a child unattended. Oh last but not least, we will have Valet parking very soon. Mind you it will be comparable with Washington DC prices at $60 but will be convenient nonetheless. Thanks again Charles for sharing and for hearing Ciel---perhaps you could have had your own drink while enjoying the music? Joking, we asked them to turn it down. Travel safe, Christopher

Laura Rojas: Very disappointing, subpar customer service The good: excellent location, new facilities and pretty design (hardwood floors instead of carpeting are a great plus) The bad: terrible customer service. To start, the front desk only has two people, sometimes even only one actually taking customers so I had significant wait times both to check in and check out. Some of them are really not very friendly or even customer oriented, I had several issues during my stay. First I get assigned a room all the way in the back, has almost no light coming through because of the building literally right next to it (within arm's distance it feels). Since it made me claustrophobic I immediately requested a room change, to which the front lady rudely replied she only had 3 rooms left, one just like the one I rejected and another one that faced the street but unfortunately was right in front of the elevator (that beeps and announces the floor each time the doors open) and ice machine, not very good for a light sleeper like me. I understand that the hotel might have been close to full capacity, but it's all about trying to accommodate the guest the best possible way, instead, the lady warns me very threathengly that if I choose that room she won't be able to change me anymore even though my total stay is for 4 nights! The next day I return to my room at night only to find that they had done an unacceptably mediocre cleaning job: the sink is all stained, the bed cover had a stain and it did not occur to them that it should be changed, and the worst of all the EXTREMELY DRENCHED shower mat wasn't changed!!! how does someone see a wet shower mat and does not change it, escapes me... fortunately the room didn't end up smelling bad, but it could have been much worse. When I call the front desk to notify the situation, all I get is "I'm sorry all the maids are gone for the day, we can't do anything about it, we'll make sure to provide a better service tomorrow" (not even send someone to get the wet towel out of my room and take it to the laundry facility? wow!. A To top it all I get back home and notice that the charge on my credit card does not match the receipt I got! So I call the front desk again, and the lady (completely unapologetic) informs me FOR THE FIRST TIME, that there is a "holding fee" of $20/night (which I have never heard of before, and doesn't even make sense because by the way there is no minibar in the room) but that I will get back within 7 business days. When I make the suggestion to either please let the customer know upon check in or check out, or even to include a little footnote on the receipt, she replies that it's pretty standard and that in fact it used to be $75 and they lowered to $20... as if I'm supposed to feel thankful for that??? Finally please be aware that there is a rooftop club, so expect noise and lines/crowds since there are only 2 elevators. Also, their towels have a very unpleasant strong chemical smell.
Response: So sorry we failed to meet your expectations. Thanks for your feedback and for allowing us to host you while visiting Washington DC.

T CH: Had a great stay at this hotel! Excellent customer service…clean, safe, updated and plentiful plugins…and very contemporary. Rooms were just the right size…not overly spacious, but not New York or European small either. Location was within walking distance to Chinatown and the Center.
Response: Oh stop T CH...actually keep going:) We never get tired of hearing how great we are so THANK YOU! It was an honor to have you with us. You got us for who we are and we love you for it. Travel safe, come back and see us again soon! Christopher

R H H: Only reason I'm giving two stars is because the staff did work really hard, but the way things are done is not ideal. 1. There was one person working to valet vehicles. I waited 30 minutes in the lobby (AFTER texting 30 minutes ahead of time) to get my car which made me late to my event. The poor guy can't manage to look at texts and get cars from a lot that's BLOCKS away. Sometimes he had to walk there. Management needs a better solution. I blame this on them. 2. Cleaning shouldn't happen during regular hours. I was eating my breakfast and had a disgusting mop in between my table and seat. Floors were wet, and vacuuming was happening during morning conversations. That's again, a bad management decision. Overall, my room was clean, but the photos made the room seem a lot bigger than what it actually was. Plumbing was wonky. I'd turn on my sink and the shower would run. My toilet barely flushed. I overheard a women in the lobby complaining about her toilet too. I was expecting more from this hotel, but it was ok. I wouldn't recommend and would never return to this location.
Response: Thanks for sharing your experience R H H. Sorry we let you down. Wishing you safe travels!

Ads H: Great rooms and service. The fact that you have to go to your room to pee every time if you're drinking in the lobby is ridiculous, also it takes an age to get up to your room of the roottop bar is busy. Also not their fault but way too many crack heads around the area, actually saw one overdose and die on Sunday
Response: Hey Ads H, sorry about the design of the building, we do feature a restroom on level b1 but you're right not one on the lobby level likely for the other problem you mentioned. Thanks for staying with us! Christopher

Courtyard by Marriott Washington Downtown/Convention Center: what do users think?

Jason Bogstie: The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. I found the hotel and my room to be clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is not all that great, basic food for high prices. I enjoyed my stay however my room had some concerning cracks in the ceiling. I would consider staying again as it is a nice hotel overall.

Jacob Forman: Front desk lady on Thursday at 9 PM on February 3rd didn’t seem like she had the time of day to explain things or be welcoming in any manner. It seemed she had an attitude about me asking questions and it was just so off-putting. Then the next day my other guest had arrive and I had a meeting I needed to attend at the same time and I called downstairs on Friday at around 1 to let him up. As I was just beginning to ask about this the lady said, “no we can’t” in a very quick rude way and proceeding to explain why in a way that was if she didn’t have the time of day as well. I’ve never had this kind of bad service at any hotel…. Typical DC customer service though. The room and everything else was nice but please check with the staff’s attitude. I also called because I left something in my room with no call back from lost and found number. I won’t be recommending this place for anyone.

Aaron Peters: The rooms are great and very tidy, the front desk staff really make the extra effort to help you, but the restaurant is truly terrible. All four of my colleagues make the mistake of trying their restaurant over a two week period, and every one of us had their meal improperly cooked (parchment still wrapped around the cheese on a cooked cheeseburger), prepared (they don't respect/listen to allergies), or forgotten (twice). Also, they open too late to be convenient for breakfast. Stay at the Marriott, but eat anywhere else that is open.

Tori Jones: The room was very nice. Food was good for room service. It's in a very convenient location that makes walking quick and easy. The only issue was that parking can fill up for valet with people who come after you and then you're on your own and have to find parking which can be difficult in DC. There is a parking lot down the street that is half the price of parking with valet.

Stacey Carmo: Nate was Great! Nate was so helpful and friendly when we arrived at the hotel and used the valet service. Nate’s personality was so welcoming and friendly. I watched Nate interact with other guests and co-workers the same way. He is an outstanding worker The warm welcome set the tone for a wonderful visit. I will pick this hotel again because Nate was great! The Marriot is blessed to have employees like Nate that go above and beyond! Thanks Nate!

Daniel C: Our stay was good, we enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfortable and the location is great. The breakfast was very basic to what we expected for a Marriott brand hotel, handed in to us in a brown bag, which was a little odd as we were sitting at a table in the restaurant. We used the parking valet the hotel offers and it was very expensive (about 50$ plus tax!) but average price per what you can find around and in the East Coast in general, I think. What made us really angry about the valet parking: - The valet guy at night offered us to park the car outside of the parking lot (in the street) for a smaller price (tip??) and he would offer his own car spot to us. We were considering it but suddenly he came over from somewhere and he had changed his mind completely, saying the police tends to fine cars in that street and that he'd strongly recommend paying for the valet parking. - We agreed to that but said we would need to leave the car until 5pm the next day (checkout date) at no extra cost as we had read they allow it only until 1pm-2pm on the day of the checkout. He said that was done and no problem. - The following day there was another guy at the door that wanted to charge us extra + tips if we wanted to get our car back at 5pm as we'd exceeded the time from 1-2pm. We explained what we had agreed the night before with the overnight guard and he was really rude and said: "OK, leave now. I'll charge you in your card anyway through the hotel" and moved away from us being really rude. - I went to the reception to complain about his behavior and to emphasize that they should NOT charge me anything because that's NOT what we agreed. The receptionist put a note in the hotel's computer system and 10 days later we were not charged. It wasn't cheap at all for only 2 extra hours!!! I strongly recommend Marriott doesn't work with that valet parking anymore OR that they call their attention and improve the service. The whole experience with the parking lot was very shady and not transparent at all and it made us feel very frustrated in the middle of our vacation. I would repeat in a future stay, but I suggest the hotel to improve with the valet parking and breakfast quality/quantity.

Corey R: Our experience with this hotel was great. The room was clean and decent sized. The front desk was great and accommodating. The downstairs bar took care of us. Overall great experience...beware of parking though... it fills up fast.

Thomas M. Pino: After checking in I went down to the bar to grab a drink for my wife and me. It took 23 minutes to get two disposable glasses of wine to take to our room. Could not believe that it took 7 minutes and four bartenders to change a $100.00 bill. Was not satisfied with the service. The cleaning lady was nice the next day. I asked for the receipts at the front desk and the attendant only printed one of the two rooms we paid for. She was not very helpful.

Michelle: A family-friendly hotel that is conveniently located near all the major attractions in Washington DC. I had booked a double room for my sister and I, and a separate king bedroom for the parents and their two small shih tzus. The check-in process was seamless and the staff was super accommodating and helpful with our requests. The rooms were clean, updated, spacious and comfy. The only negative was the rooms were not soundproof, and our puppies were disturbed at the slightest sound in the night. To make up for their restless night sleep, the parents took advantage of their mini coffee station in their room. My sister and I, on the other hand, didn't hear any noise and had no trouble sleeping. There is also a drink bar/restaurant integrated in the hotel at ground level- food was good, though I would passed on some of the high sodium dishes next time. This is a lively hotel and I wished we had stayed longer to check out the other amenities. Even the guests were very friendly and cordial- most likely because our cute lil pups were attention magnets ;D

Brian Davis: Nice hotel with clean rooms. Friendly front desk staff. Conveniently located within walking distance of many downtown venues. Scenic rooftop chill spot closes early but the 4th floor terrace is a nice 2nd option. No free breakfast included, as typical with Marriott. Limited parking and the valet service is not so great for the price.

Courtyard by Marriott Washington, DC Dupont Circle: what do users think?

Nicole Penansky: If I could give this place zero stars I would. I booked a stay for 8 nights. One of the gentleman that helps with valet helped me carry up my things since I had my service animal. Before bringing anything inside the room, as I open the door to the room the gentleman and I saw a huge bug crawling on the floor at the base of the bed. I was freaked out and disgusted by this. I immediately requested a change in rooms. The front desk informed me I had to be on one of two floors because I have a dog. There were only two other room options. One being a king bed which is what I had paid for or another room which had two queen size beds which I didn’t need. During my stay I was so anxious that the bug would crawl it’s way into the new room because I was placed on the same floor as the initial room. I left a light on at all hours of the night in hopes it would prevent any critters from coming out at night. The new room I am currently in doesn’t have any bugs but it’s only been one night. Another issue with this place is the walls are super thin so it’s noisy. Even someone showering next door can be heard through this walls. They are paper thin. In addition to these issues, the shower temperature doesn't get hot, the window of the room leaks water into the room when it rains or snows, and if you are in the shower for longer than 2 minutes the bathroom light will turn off leaving the room pitch dark. Making the individual in the shower get out momentarily to hit the button again because when anyone is in the shower, the motion sensor doesn't know and turns off the lights on you. Super annoying! The huge cockroach in the initial room they gave me however was the nastiest and worst thing of it all. There are many better hotels to stay at. If I didn't have my board exam in a week I would have left this place immediately and gone else where. I will definitely not be back to this hotel.
Response: Hi Nicole! I know Martin the Asst. General Manager is attempting to reach out to you to see how your stay is going. Sorry about the yucky bug, we strive to be spotless, particularly for a new hotel. Unfortunately sometimes nature takes its toll. How was the rest of your stay?

John Coorey: Stayed in December for a quick 1-day stay for business. No hot water in the shower when I needed it, which in of itself warrants zero stars from me. The room also didn't have an iron or ironing board, when I called, they only brought the iron. The location is favorable, but I wasn't impressed. I am booked here again for January and would prefer to cancel, but with prepaid bookings, I apparently have to deal with this place again. Would recommend a litany of other Marriott properties in DC.
Response: Hi John and thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We are so sorry that we fell short of your expectations. No excuses, but we are a brand new hotel and we are working through some construction kinks. There is an overly sensitive boiler that is giving us some trouble and we are diligently working to correct and fix the issue once and for all. In the meantime we work to identify the affected sleeping rooms and take them off line so no future guest has to experience what you did. Agreed, a comfortable bed and a hot shower are pretty much the minimum for a hotel stay, so we hear you. We have irons and ironing boards on request a well as a less cumbersome steamer option, so I am sorry to hear that we didn't give you those options or provide the board with your iron request. We are actually grateful that you will be back with us in a few weeks as it will give us the opportunity to show you what we can do. Please ask for me at the desk or for Shaune Johnson, the General Manager, so that we can personally apologize and ensure you have a pleasant stay. Our goals is to make you a guest for life and we appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate what we are capable of.

Nicolas Wong: The hotel is nicely located, with modern and spacious rooms. However, the service was somewhat subpar for a Marriot hotel. Housekeeping didn't clean our room for multiple days, despite explicitly requesting it following the first day without cleaning. When asked for clean towels, we were met with somewhat indifferent staff. There are also some minor problems with the amenities in the room; such as the hairdryer not being able to properly connect to the outlet and the automatic lighting in the bathroom that switches the lights off during a shower - which can potentially be hazardous. The hot water issue as other people have mentioned is also ongoing. All over a nice hotel, with its many quirks.
Response: Hi Nicolas! Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Certainly not making excuses, but we are a new hotel and still experiencing some growing pains. We are addressing the hot water with the construction team and working with the light technicians on the all too efficient energy saving bathroom lighting. Staff is another issue. We will certainly make your comments known to the supervisor and ensure corrective action is taken as quickly as possible. Our guests should always experience a pleasant and accommodating team of individuals with the sole purpose of meeting our guests needs. We apologize for falling short, but hope you will give us another chance in the future. As you indicated, the hotel is nicely located with modern and spacious accommodations.

Daniel Haba: When I travel, I don’t spend much time in my room. The two main things I do in the room are sleep and shower. The sleep was pretty good. The pillows could be a bit thicker, but overall a pretty good night sleep. But the shower water was at least 20 degrees colder than it should be, even turned all the way up. My wife refused to even get in the shower here because of how cold it was. And during mine, the automatic light in the bathroom turned off mid-shower. It doesn’t appear to have an obvious way to keep it turned on without it sensing motion. Add on lack of things like iron/ironing board, and this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully they’ll work out the kinks with the hotel still being very new. But until I know that the hot water has been fixed, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I don’t think very many people enjoy getting out of the shower shivering.
Response: Hi Daniel and thank you for your review! We appreciate your recognizing the hotel is brand new and there may be some wrinkles. I hope you reported your issue to the front desk team for rectification. Hot water is abundant but with the hotel being new there are some circulation issues that are generally resolved running water for extended periods. We could have moved you to another room to ensure you had a nice hot shower. Ironing boards and irons are available upon request as well. I hope you will give us another try; our prime location, fresh, clean, brand new accommodations, oversized gym and friendly Bistro are all at the ready to serve you.

Holly Chin: Come for the location, stay for Tanya and Rinard!! Tanya (the amazing bartender) took care of me during my stay, she was so sweet, social, and friendly. She even offered me her umbrella for the night as I had forgotten mine! She really made my experience special. The front desk staff member (I forget her name), was also extremely polite. This hotel is in a great location, quiet and close to many restaurants.
Response: Wow thanks, Holly! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! Please come back soon! Tonya says Hi!

Blayz Brooks: Its a new courtyard Marriott so everything is beautiful and new . It feels like a moxy hotel with the designs and small rooms. The rooms were smaller than a regular courtyard room with no couch or closet .The service was ok some people were very friendly, some just ok . People absent from the desk at times . Employees standing together talking until seemed like you needed something. Service wasn't bad but it wasn't as attentive some courtyards Ive stayed at. I really hated the climate controls. I get the whole environmental conservation however its about 5 buttons in the room which control power and lighting none or labeled . So taking a basic shower means the bathroom light turns on by itself by sensor but turns off , leaving the bathroom pitch dark in the middle of showering because the sensor isn't sensing movement in the shower. Overall a great stay
Response: Thank you so much for the great review on our facilities and for your feedback on staff engagement. As a brand-new hotel, we are still experiencing some growing pains so we appreciate your candor and your trust in staying with us. That money saving light sensor is really turning into a challenge, so we are addressing the location of the sensors and extending the time so that guests are not left in the dark! We hope you will come and see is again soon and again, thank you for the excellent feedback!

David Yip: Great location and solid access to good food. Clean and Good size room for the price and a well equipped gym. You can refill your water in the gym, they have a filtered water system. The hotel is new and I did not encounter some of the issues other reviewers wrote about here. I stayed for 3 weeks and I would recommend staying on a lower floor as the water pressure on the higher floors is very weak (no issues with hot water now). The view is ok but definitely not worth paying more than the lower levels. Noise level on the weekends are definitely louder. I did not try the breakfast offering as there is a great bakery 5 mins walk from the hotel (Tattes). I did have beers in the evening at the bistro and Tanya is provides very good service. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Response: The best thing we can hear is that you would stay with us again! Thank you for the thorough review, we appreciate your business and hope you will come back again soon!

John Joyner: A bad choice for a multi-night stay. Rooms are minimalist to the point of being non-functional. No closet, just a peg protruding from the wall with some hangers. No iron or ironing board, and no place to store them once you request them (see: no closet). No drawers whatsoever to unpack your suitcase into. You are left to either live out of a suitcase for days on end, or scatter your stuff all over what meager surfaces are available. No towel racks in the bathroom. Vinyl floor + thin walls = noisy acoustics. I can't imagine what the person who designed this room was thinking, and really can't imagine what was going through the head of whoever at Marriott signed off on the design. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough. Climate control was OK. Might have been an ok room for a single night stay, but not any longer than that.
Response: We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. If you would like to discuss further, please contact Martin the hotel manager so we can learn more about your experience.

REYNA M. RODRIGUEZ: Super extremely clean. Smelled so good. Very professional staff, welcoming and accommodating. Specially Mark Anthony at reception. We’ve been traveling from Miami and headed to NYC and every night we’ve stayed at a different hotel. This is by far the best stay overall!! Totally recommended!
Response: What a wonderful review. Thank you so much! We hope you will come back soon!

Karen K: Great location, nice cozy buildings around, walking distance to the historical center. Everything is very new. Staff was helpful. The room was spacious. Missing hot water in the shower, a wardrobe, enough soap, shampoo etc. for the number of visitors as well as daily room service.
Response: Thank you so much for the overall great review. We understand that the shower would certainly be an issue and we hope that you reported that to our front desk team to action. The new building still has a few kinks so your feedback is very helpful. For more amenities all you need do is ask and the team will gladly get you additional items. We hope you will stay with us again and allow us to show you what we can do to ensure a pleasant and frictionless stay in Washington DC! Happy New Year~!

Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport: what do users think?

Derek Kruger: Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you will love it I'm sure! We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was very clean and really nice. The bed was comfortable as well. It was really quiet inside our room despite the hotel being fairly busy. All staff was very friendly as well. The location is perfect for easily getting into the city via the metro. We will stay here again!

Courtney Michael: This location is absolutely perfect! You don’t have to leave the hotel to access the metro station which is super convenient. Plus, parking in the whole Crystal city area is free on weekends so we didn’t have to pay the expensive parking fee at the hotel because we could just park at one of the free lots nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious. I love that the rooms have the wood floors so it feels cleaner than carpet. I absolutely loved my stay here and this will definitely be my new spot when I stay in DC because I can just walk down to the metro and easily get around DC without ever having to drive.

Reinoso Family: We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was very clean and really nice. The bed was comfortable as well. It was really quiet inside our room despite the hotel being fairly busy. All staff was very friendly as well. The location is perfect for easily getting into the city via the metro. We will stay here again!

Matthew Hiserodt: Stayed here for a soccer tournament in the area. Rooms were modern and spacious but beyond that I did not enjoy my visit. $35/ night for parking is criminal. My bill was $370 for two nights after parking, taxes and other fees. Rooms had no microwave to try to force you to eat at the overpriced restaurant downstairs. Pool would have been nice but the crazy foreign guy at the front desk made the whole thing a massive headache. Reminded me of the guy from home alone 2; seemed to want kids to have no fun whatsoever. Would not recommend this place for families whatsoever. It’s is a business hotel only.

Reggie: First the good: Premium location; close to Subway and Airport & 1st time ever riding subway- cool experience. The Not-So-Good: Extremely small bathroom (I bet my paycheck that you will not fit two "normal" size adults; two random holes in floor-see pics-very strange. Honestly a classic case of website picture of room & reality are completely opposite; yes I remained in the room and did not complain to Front Desk because I shouldn't have to...If my Wife was alive it would have been a different story...beware

C. B. Thuss, Jr.: Great rooms and friendly staff. I was here for a conference and it was handled very professionally. You can get breakfast and dinner but no lunch in hotel but they will give you a list of nearby restaurants from fast food to restaurants! Very good fitness room as well!

Mark Robbins: The go-to hotel when my wife and I are in Washington. Location, location, location and a no surprises Marriott room with points and weekend rates. Bring your bicycles because the Potomac path is a block away. Pedal to romantic Old Town, then keep going to Mount Vernon on a sunny day but be alert for runners/baby carriages/young men riding fast. Later, hop on the safe, clean (vs NYC) Metro just underneath the hotel and all of Washington is accessible with a little walking or the shuttle if going from GW to the Kennedy Center.

Richard Cox: This is an older hotel remodeled but with issues. The first room had ac issues and was over 77 degrees, the second room was better. Food was good. Would have gone to the Courtyard or Renaissance had I known.

Thomas Laundon: Was put in this hotel for a flight delay. Got to my room around midnight and there was a urine(or some dark yellow) stain on my bed. Was able to switch rooms around 1am and catch my flight at 5 am. If I were to have paid for this experience I’d be even more furious. But in the future when delayed at DCA; FIND ANOTHER HOTEL

You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be let down. I loved staying here! The rooms were clean and modern. The restaurant was good. The price was fair. And - it had direct access from the lobby to an underground tunnel where you'll find a network of stores and restaurants, as well the metro! It was so easy to visit any of the attractions in DC using the metro just downstairs. I'll definitely be staying here next time I visit DC!

Catherine McGuckin: Excellent hotel, conveniently located to transportation, and hard working staff. A family group of us were in town attending a GWU sporting event and chose to stay here. Your front desk people were amazingly patient and accommodating. We were checking in around the same time as a large student group and the process was rather seamless. Side Note: I'm a high school teacher and I observed the way you interacted with the young adults and their seemingly endless purchases of items from your convenience kiosk and you were all so friendly, patient, and helpful. Your bar/restaurant staff are fantastic! We had breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and your breakfast servers are amazingly hard workers. Nice buffet too! Your evening bar employees are just wonderful! Smiles, laughs, and great service...Thank you Cesar and the other gentlemen who really made our stay memorable! I won't hesitate to stay here again and recommend!

wayfour96: A well run Hotel. Great location. Rooms are a little small but Clean and good room service . Fantastic Hotel lobby There is pay parking below the hotel. Front desk staff Was very helpful in accommodating polite and attentive an attentive. It was an update visit. Close to all attractions downtown pbonus walking distance to Washington DC Subway

Daisy Denton: -staff is aggressive and cold -lack of amenities -low quality or lack of appliances -possible bug problem The Beds were comfortable, the pillows were ok. Everything seemed well cleaned, and I have professional cleaning experience. The Hotel was well decorated and I liked the interior design. That was about the only nice things I can say about my experience at this hotel. The staff is aggressive and cold. My family had pulled up and my mother had gone inside to check in, before we could even start unloading our luggage, a staff member walks over to our cars and begins aggressively talking to us. We are in a line of cars up against the wall of the building, why single us out? We pull out to avoid getting yelled at and embarrassed more, and somehow we have to figure out how to get the luggage of four people into the hotel. Once that headache was done, we go in to complain about our horrible and unwelcoming experience so far. The woman at the front desk doesn't look up from her screen. "Sorry about that" is all that we get. Wonderful, how welcomed and valued we feel. Lack of amenities. This hotel has no pool, photos online may show one, but it is a lie. We came here with our suits ready to relax after a day out in DC. Only to find that the photos of the pool were a lie. Our room in this hotel had no microwave or coffee machine, the fridge in the hotel isn't cold enough the keep food cool overnight. The air conditioning didn't work properly, and had kept the room hot all night, no matter what we did. The shower head in the bathroom is obviously very cheap, also makes strange noises. The mirror in our room, was cracked. As well as, I woke up, with a strange insect bite on top of my foot. And my family has them as well. So the hotel has bugs.

cherry baby: Beautiful hotel in a very accessible area. Very close to the airport and they do offer shuttle service. Parking was not included in the room rate, which was very affordable on the 3rd party site I used to book. Room was spacious and clean. Easy getting in and out of the hotel, no key card needed for front door or elevator. Make sure you clarify what tower your in, it can be a little confusing. Helpful staff. Would recommend

Amanda M: The room was fine. However, I was in need of feminine products. They had none in the entire hotel. But if you wanted nail polish remover pads or to choose from three different types of condoms they had you covered in the gift shop . Instead the front desk recommended I walk about a mile at night to the nearest CVS to get what I needed. I don't mind walking when it is daylight but not as a female alone in a strange city at night.

L. Smith: Nice and clean. May I suggest signs in the garage to show newcomers the way to the elevators. Also, please share with Spothero that the shuttle stops at the other Marriott location for additional passengers. Shuttle bus driver, exceptionally nice and shuttle van has comfortable seats.

MR. MiIosz: Beautiful hotel! Very convenient to many restaurants and the metro. The hotel is connected tot he metro and Crystal City shops via Tunnel so you don't even need to go outside. Also a wonderful view of DC and planes taking off and landing at Reagan airport. Only cons were there were no microwaves in the room to heat up leftovers and the toilet paper was quite rough. After 3 days, my behind was noticebly sore

P Russell: Beautiful upgraded room on the top floor, great service and staff. Restaurant not the best but it's on property so it has that going for it (it was busy, servers doing good, drinks were just alright and food was just okay). Lounge staff was great! Check-in staff was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. The check in line is a little weird, we were unsure if the elite and normal lines were together or separate. Okay, so as we noticed outside of the entrance there are obviously airport shuttles here but also it is only one metro stop away from the airport. Easy access to metro or bus or bike share (all just a couple blocks walking away). We usually stay in DC but would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves south of the "Potomac Ocean". This is an amazing airport hotel if you are utilizing DCA or just wanting to check out a little of northern Virginia foods, shops, and nightlife.
