Hilton Club The District Washington D.C.: what do users think?
Michael Lundeen
Michael Lundeen: The interior of The District Hotel is visually stunning especially at night. The staff is super helpful and willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable and fun. The made to order omlette breakfast is a great feature and the helpful staff at breakfast further enhanced our stay. The main restaurant is convenient but not an exciting selection of food. The rooms themselves are clean and nice but showing a little wear and tear. If I could ask for one improvement it would be that the staff be a little more knowledgeable about nearby eateries and entertainment. They were helpful but seemed to rely on the preprinted suggestion sheet instead of doling out personal knowledge. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Tiffany Pope
Tiffany Pope: This place went above and beyond our expectations. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was absolutely next level. My daughter left her blanket in the bed. Once we checked out, housekeeping quickly cleaned the room. Several hours later, as we were getting ready to leave D.C. our daughter realized she left her prized blanket (she has used it since infancy and is very attached). My husband went back to the desk and asked to search the room. They happily let him. When it was not located there, several of the housekeeping staff searched the clean and dirty laundry. They found it in the clean linen! I literally cried at their kindness and compassion.
Blanche Brick
Blanche Brick: Good location in DC. Helpful and friendly staff. Was not expecting the Hilton Club to be part of Embassy Suites hotel. Rooms were not located near lobby or elevator which made it difficult for someone with walking challenges. Only rooms with one king size bed available.
Response: Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed our location in D.C. as well as the helpful and friendly nature of our team members. We hope you will return for a much improved overall experience. Houria Lhammoumi Club Director
Rob Emblidge
Rob Emblidge: A comfortable and convenient place in the City, we were able to get to our destinations each day with ease. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding each morning. The omelet station is a show worth watching even if you are not eating.
Jared Anderson
Jared Anderson: Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast included daily. Happy hour drinks included. Nice rooms and clean bathrooms. The little things make it a great stay. Good location, too. Not far from Georgetown, monuments, Foggey Bottom station and lots of other great restaurants nearby.
Dawn Bean
Dawn Bean: My husband and I stayed at the District in December 2021. The District is located on the top three floors of an Embassy Suites. As a Hilton Grand Vacations owner I was expecting the same type of "home" feel, but you feel like you are an Embassy Suites, same type room, same amenities, etc... An example is most time shares have either a washer and dryer in your suite or free access to a laundry area. Here, not only did we have to pay to use the washer and dryer we had to go down to the main floor get a bunch of quarters, fill our suitcase with our dirty laundry on the 8th floor, then go down to the 3rd floor to do laundry. A laundry basket would have been nice in the room and if we have to pay to use the machines at least have them so you can use a card or your phone for payment. Another example is there was only a wine fridge in our room, not a mini fridge, a wine/beverage fridge. A mini fridge, with a freezer would have been nice as well as a convection oven/microwave instead of a cheap microwave. Overall, the place was clean, nicely decorated, the staff was efficient and in a great location. Next time I would use my Hilton Honors points instead of using Club points and just stay at in an Embassy Suite room.
Response: Thank you for your review and loyalty as one of our valued members. We are sorry you were disappointed with your overall stay with us. You are correct, we are part of the Hilton Club collection within Hilton Grand Vacations which has different features than our sister Hilton Grand Vacations resorts. Hilton Club properties are located in Washington DC, Charleston, New York City, Japan and more which offer a different experience more inline with the needs of the urban market location. We provide members with an upscale residence to enjoy amongst our local attractions and elevated rewards partners. We hope you will consider joining us again for an improved experience. Houria Lhammoumi Club Director
Jess Xu
Jess Xu: Cons: 1. Comforter has blood stains. 2. Personal hygiene supply is limited. 2 queen bed suite has one soap. Pros: 1. Breakfast is superb. 2. Staffs are patient, kind and supportive. 3. $55 for secure enclosed underground parking with elevator is fair for the location and service. 4. There is a street market just across the street with a wide range of organic goods. It is late night and we tried the sushi there, the market sushi is beyond our expectation. Salmon is fresh and creamy.
Tina Mihaly
Tina Mihaly: Excellent staff and ideal location in the District. A nice variety of good restaurants within walking distance, as well as multiple options for overnight parking. I used a self parking garage that I reserved before leaving for my trip. The breakfast offerings were very good and the room was spotless and very comfortable.
Joyce Wootten
Joyce Wootten: Such a cool place! The Hilton Club is the top 3 floors of the Embassy Suites Hotel, so its kind of 2 hotels in one. The breakfast buffet thats included is 5 stars, the happy hour includes 2 free drinks per visitor. The only comment is the parking for hilton is not on-site which is a pain, there is also no room cleaning service and the pool was a bit dirty. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Husky Ski
Husky Ski: Very nice and flexible front desk service. Let me check in a little bit earlier. I left my noise canceling headphone behind. I called the hotel and they mailed it back to me, and I received it in 4 days. what a great service. Room is a little dated, but very comfy and has all the things you need. a lit if places nearby to explore.
Davaish Singh
Davaish Singh: Older property on outside, rooms are nicely updated with few issues. Room service was impossible to reach, excellent cleaning service and shoe shine. this is a good work hotel if you have to stay. it is not meant for families. Served its purpose, but parking is 52$ even for self park (valet not offered always) and they have a 20$ dest fee just because.
Aaron Stevens
Aaron Stevens: Clean and comfortable hotel with easy check-in. Super soft bedding maximizing sleep time. The lady who checked me in could have offered more information on the hotel. The building layout is huge and tricky. Appreciated the bottled water at check-in.
Loretta Harrison
Loretta Harrison: I travel quite a bit and have stayed at some of the best hotels around. I was truly disappointed with the check in and the size of the room. I only wanted to spend the night so I could travel home safely after an afternoon event. Parking was an extra $52.00 and $20.00 for a destination fee??? I am glad I purchased the room online cause they may have charged me for even more bogus charges. The entrance is spacious but the room is dated for a four star hotel. I say get your stuff together Washington Hilton. You can and should be soooo much better! PS. No microwave or mini fridge. Really

Capital Hilton: what do users think?
Emily C.
Emily C.: I’m glad we stayed in this hotel. Greeted by a staff work at the front desk and we were able to check in a little bit early. Very nice and friendly guy. We got a surprise the room was bigger than we thought and it was clean, we felt so welcome. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable__that’s important when you are traveling. Great location easy to get to the places that we planted to visit. Thanks again!
Response: Dear Emily, We are overjoyed that we played a part in ensuring a perfect weekend stay where your expectations were exceeded, where our facilities impeccably maintained, where you were treated to meaningful and extraordinary hospitality! We are honoured that we will once again enjoy the opportunity of hosting you. Welcome to our Capital Hilton extended family! Kind regards, Paolo P., GM
blue Star
blue Star: This is an older hotel that felt clean to me. I read some of the reviews and was very concerned about our stay but I must say our short 2-night stay was pain free. The room was big enough, clean, no smells or dirty carpet. The furniture had some minor dings and such but did not detract. The location was great for walking around and we felt safe. All the employees were pleasant and professional and seemed happy to be working there.
Response: Hello blue Star, Thanks for the awesome review! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us. I was so pleased that you had such a special time, and were made to feel welcome by the team. They really do take the greatest care to make sure each and every guest has the most special "Capital Hilton" experience and leaves with happy memories of their time with us. We hope to see you again soon! Regards, Paolo P., GM
Jeffrey Vicente
Jeffrey Vicente: Friendly staff and professional with high quality service and attention to details as expected to Hilton. Rooms are big, spacious and comfortable compared to nearby hotels with same/similar rates. Great location also near at restaurants, White house and capitol. Will definitely come back to this hotel if I go to DC again.
Response: Hello Jeffrey, Ensuring our guests receive friendly and efficient service is of the utmost importance to us. We hoped that you would have a phenomenal experience with the most attentive and anticipatory service and culinary delights. Our location holds a wealth of opportunities to engage and explore and is easily accessible to the best attractions of our region so we are pleased you had a chance to enjoy that. Please do come see us again soon. We enjoyed hosting you! Best, Stefan M., GM
Eric Green
Eric Green: Diamond member review: Location was great. Hotel is nice, front door/valet staff very kind and welcoming. Bell staff and front desk, not so. I did not have to interact with either, that frequently, only when I had questions which were (in my opinion) handled rather rudely. Room was cozy, very quiet stay.. definitely more so than any other Hilton I can recall recently. Someone complained about privacy but that can be solved by simply drawing the blackout curtains. I had an issue with my shower overflowing in the tub… like maybe too much hair or something keeping water in tub. Minor housekeeping issue, half empty bottle of body wash.. no soap to be found anywhere. Meh. So.so
Response: Dear Eric, Thank you for your review and rating! You’ve brought up so many important points, both ups, and downs from your trip, and we truly appreciate your observations. Many aspects of your experience certainly do not meet our standards, and if given the opportunity, we would have taken measures to address every concern while you were staying with us. Our hospitality is executed by professionals who take your feedback seriously, and will continue to work towards creating a thoughtful and comfortable experience for all of our guests, We would welcome the opportunity to have you back and provide you a stay you deserve and expect. Regards, Paolo P., General Manager
Dee26
Dee26: I had to switch rooms 3 times. The Ac was not working, the bathtub was clog, they used a safety pin to hold the shower curtain. The towels were dingy. Not what I Expected from This hotel. However I need to thank Theresa who Was Very nice and did everything possible to Resolve my issues. She provided excellent service. I also Want to State the porters provide excellent service.
Response: Hello Dee26, Thank you very much for taking the time to share the details of your recent Capital Hilton stay. Please accept my apologies for the issues experienced. This is certainly not an example of the service we aim to offer and we certainly share your disappointment. Rest assured that your comments will be discussed internally and every measure will be taken to make sure there is no re-occurrence of the experience you described. It was a pleasure having you stay with us. I am pleased that Theresa's stellar service was so appreciated, and I truly hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in a near future. Regards, Paolo P., GM
Ruth G
Ruth G: Old hotel, needs a renovation. Sound proofing is bad. Staff is very nice. The safe in my room was out of order. Good beds. No restaurant on the premise.unlike what the manager says, I was a guest, room 431. The north grill was for breakfast, the Statler grill served only drinks was very loud and not the place to have dinner. How do you treat a guest like this with your response. From 4* to 3*.
Response: Hi Ruth, We have two wonderful, highly rated restaurants on premises - North Gate Grill and The Statler Lounge. It seems that perhaps you were not a patron of our Capital Hilton. However, we would be honored to host your next visit to Washington DC. We have a wonderful team of employees who really put their whole heart into their work here and, we are the perfect base from which to enjoy Washington D.C. Safe travels and we hope to welcome you soon. Regards, Paolo P., GM
Paula Penn
Paula Penn: Mr. Frank Poku, Front Desk/Guest Service Agent was phenomenal. I arrived early, ahead of official check-in but he graciously handled everything. And while the original room assigned was lovely, I had some challenges with the layout. Again, Frank was extremely gracious and made the switch to another charming room effortless. Excellent customer service, yet another reason I love Hilton hotels!
Response: Hi Paula, I am so grateful to you for taking the time to leave such a positive review. Your wonderful compliments are praise indeed! We are so proud of Frank and the rest of our team, who assuredly keep our guests happy and well cared for. This recognition of their hard work means a great deal, so thank you again for sharing your experience and we hope to welcome you back to Capital Hilton in the future. Best, Paolo P., GM
Sophia Kaski
Sophia Kaski: The room had a old cigarette smell and there was a big red stain on my sheets. There was no fridge. However the staff was really nice as well as the guest staying here this is definitely not a four star hotel. But it’s in walking distance to the White House and many more historic buildings.
Response: Hi Sophia Kaski - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for staying with us. Please accept our apologies for your unpleasant experience. As the cleanliness of our hotel is a key priority, we are very sorry your room fell short of our high standards. Please rest assured that your comments have been shared to foster improvements. For this reason, we hope to have the opportunity to deliver a more pleasant experience on a return visit.

Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill: what do users think?
Jon Scott
Jon Scott: Great place to stay in the heart of the city. Almost everything is a ten to twenty minute walk. If you need to go further, Union Station is just around the block. The rooms are clean, the lobby is well kept, and staff are very friendly. One of the key issues I find in hotel rooms is they have the AC blowing at the head of the bed. NOT here, it’s around the corner providing a very comfortable environment and I don’t wake up with a stuffed head.
Ronald Walker
Ronald Walker: Great experience overall for our family. Breakfast was wonderful - especially because the staff got to know us. I had some concerns related to the safety of the front drive (railing forced pedestrians to either squeese between the iron railing or step in front of cars) and iron struts sticking out from under the king-sized bed in our room, but we managed. Great location near Union Station.
Workin Mom
Workin Mom: I booked the same day as an impromptu stay with the family. We checked in at 9pm. Choice of parking was valet $59 or park in the street which after 10pm is free & free on Sundays. I was able to park across the street. Our double bed room was clean. Beds are full size, not queen, but were comfortable and bathroom was nicely renovated. I paid $200 for a Saturday night, last minute which I think is reasonable. Modern TV, 2 USB ports and plenty of towels. The clock radio screen was broken & the bathroom fan had cracked drywall, 2 things that could easily be fixed. Overall, happy with the location, price & cleanliness.
Yuhan Wang
Yuhan Wang: I got a corner room on the top floor with a perfect view. Looking at the capitol hill all night was an amazing experience. The shower is amazing. Great staff. However, I do not feel very safe around this area. You can find hotels that are cheaper, newer, and closer to those tourist attractions.
Christopher Platt
Christopher Platt: Travelled to DC with family for an educational trip, superb location for all that Smithsonian and National Mall had to offer - Union Station within two blocks walk. The hotel offered everything a young family would want, rooms were virtually soundproof, and everything was new, fresh, and clean. We were even welcomed by GM Jeff, he took great care of our kids and other guests at breakfast. Will 100% be returning to this hotel on all future visits!
Anthony Tijerino
Anthony Tijerino: My stay at the Hilton in Washington DC - Capital Hill was fantastic! Most notably, the staff member I met or interacted with were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s location is enviable - it is perfectly located within walking distance of many superb dining experiences, the many national monuments the city is known for, and it’s relative closeness from a variety of nightlife options. 10/10 would recommend this hotel as fantastic place to stay and I am 10/10 looking forward to my next stay!
It Starts at Home - Sonali Kapoor
It Starts at Home - Sonali Kapoor: The hotel is absolutely amazing, with the most amazing staff from the vallet to front office, they are warm, courteous, aware and just lovely. The rooms, resturant lobby were all spectacularly clean and everything in place. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was delicious. The bar has some gr8 drinks..evening vibe is gr8 there.
Paul Baltadonis
Paul Baltadonis: This was the single worst Hilton experience I have had. From the quality of the rooms (think 1960’s build with a late 90’s coat of paint and peeling wallpaper), to the lack of proper housekeeping (had to call multiple times to tell them that no one had serviced the room yet), to a generally ambivalent staff, this was a very poor Hilton experience. The hotel is in poor condition (look at the drains in the showers and the wallpaper and paint peeling off the walls, not to mention all the extra holes in the walls from where they’ve replaced towel holders, etc), the staff did nothing to correct the deficiencies of service (everything was brought to their attention and all they could offer was “oh, I’m so sorry about that”. No recompense, no offer to move us to another facility in the city, nothing. I’ve stayed all over the country, and have ranged in everything from Hilton Garden Inns to the Waldorf Astoria; this was, by far, the poorest example of a Hilton experience I have had. It is unfortunate that this happened to be a family vacation instead of just a work trip. We all got to enjoy this masterpiece….

Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf: what do users think?
P Taylor
P Taylor: Front desk, valet was great. Location was good and the hotel was aesthetically pleasing. The other reviews mentions the housekeeping duties being less than satisfactory and their right. I requested towels and toiletries and they never came. I requested the room to be cleaned while me and my family was out and it was never done. I watched the staff check rooms for room service (I happened to return while they were cleaning) and they never stepped foot inside. Then I had to chase them down for those extra towels. If it weren’t for that , this place would have 5 stars.
Response: We are so sorry to let you down, P Taylor. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about these issues. We strive to deliver exceptional service, and we missed the mark. We will work internally to make adjustments and improve our service and guest experience. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 484-1000 to learn more?
Shilpa Reddy
Shilpa Reddy: This is the worst Hilton that I have stayed at. My husband and I called our third party booking company and this Hilton to let them know that we would be checking in late as we had an overnight flight. We were told that this was noted on our reservation and not to worry. When we arrived for check-in, we were “greeted” by rude front desk staff. This person simply did not want to help us and told us he couldn’t find our reservation. Made it seem like this was our fault. Eventually, the reservation was found, but our request for a city view that was booked ahead of time was not met. We waited for two days despite calling twice to have our room cleaned. The front desk said that they weren’t sure what happened; but that they “dropped the ball”. Housecleaning was still cleaning and the front desk said they would check if they could come and clean our room; but then said that it was not possible and made us wait another day. We requested cups or glasses to drink water in since our room had not been cleaned and no supplies had been replenished. We waited 45 minutes and when we called the front desk were told, “we don’t provide glasses, but if it makes you feel better, we can”. What kind of response is this? Plastic cups were eventually provided. I have never seen such lousy guest service. The bedsheets slide off the mattress and there is no real duvet cover. We are Hilton rewards members and were told that we would not get points. We won’t be returning to this hotel.
Response: Hi Shilpa Reddy - We value you as a Hilton Honors member. Please accept our apologies for your unpleasant experience. Customer service and cleanliness are key priorities for us, so we're disappointed we fell short here. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so we can look into this further. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for staying with us.
Catherine Poisson
Catherine Poisson: This whole stay was strange and I should have taken the poor reviews more seriously. We used our Hilton Points to book a deluxe king room for a few days to visit DC. Upon arrival (more than an hour after check-in) the front desk staff informed us that they did not have a room ready or available for us. We’re flexible so we said okay, but they offered a different room - two king beds. We were just grateful to have a room, otherwise what would we have done? Waited in the lobby like others with our suitcases hoping for a room in the next few hours? So we take it, provide our credit card for incidentals, and head to our newly assigned room. The room was somewhat strange: they painted around the tv, the sink drain stopper was dislodged and did not work, and on the first night there was an extremely loud boom that woke my husband and I both up, called the front desk, and they said everything is fine. We genuinely were concerned enough to leave and stay somewhere else but ultimately decided to stay since it was the middle of the night. These things happen, no problem. The location was great and they actually have a pool which we didn’t know so that was a plus. Fast forward to today, a week after our trip, we see we were charged more than $800 (our room was already fully paid for using points), and also a miscellaneous $200 is pending. We call Hilton and after 30 minutes on the phone they say it was a room “upgrade”. With what we already paid, I could not imagine paying $1,800 for our “upgraded” room for three nights. Obviously we will not be paying this. A case has been made between our Hilton credit card and the hotel which we’re hoping has a positive outcome. I just want to warn others of our experience and the possible fraudulent charges, which result in the guest having to take time out of their day to correct hotels mistakes.
Response: Hello Catherine, First and foremost, please allow me to extend my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience you suffered as a result of the issue you experienced with your room type. I understand how frustrating this must have been for you. In regard to your points reservation, this specific reservation was not reserved with points on our end. I would love to connect with you via email and go over your concerns during your stay. My email address is wesley.tan@hiltondcnationalmall.com and I look forward hearing back from you. -Wesley
Robert P
Robert P: Good location for visiting the mall but not convient to downtown for restaurants or shopping. Meeting family so booked a two bedroom suite. Very strange set of rooms. No dressers, desk, single chair. Only small hand towel rack in bathroom, no place to hang bath towels. No place to put clothes since no dressers. Had to call down for hangers, robes, luggage racks, extra towels. Room rate included access to "executive lounge" (free breakfast, evening drinks and snacks) but on check in told it was closed due to "Covid precautions", which was total BS since the bar was open with people sitting elbow to elbow. There are better places to stay in DC for what we paid here!
Response: We are so sorry to let you down, Robert P. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about these issues. We strive to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it sounds like we fell short. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 484-1000 so we can follow up with you further?
Mike Maynes
Mike Maynes: Let’s start tomorrow with the positives. This Hilton has a good location for DC Metro as most lines connect under the hotel plaza. It’s about 10 minutes (walk)to the Mall and 10 minute walk to waterfront. Our room had two king beds and a large shower. Make sure you pick a North facing room to see some monuments. The negatives include overpriced breakfast at the hotel restaurant (low quality fruit), no bathroom fan, and all of the L’enfant plaza restaurants and shops close late afternoon when the business crowds leave. They are also closed on weekends. Plan your dinners accordingly. Overall, the place was OK, but underwhelming.
Response: Hello Mike Maynes - Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know where we fell short. We will make every effort to ensure we do better in the future. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so we can follow up with you.
Tu Le
Tu Le: the location is great and everything is within 1-2 miles which is all walking distance. the room was very spacious and sanitary, the shower was fancy and everything was nice. also, we left our bag unattended to and thought someone stole it, the manager let us look through the security cameras and we were able to see that no one took the bag but we accidentally forgot the bag in our room so they gave us a spare key to grab our bag. great service, highly recommend this place :)
Andrea Wunderlich
Andrea Wunderlich: You are on your own once you check in . Asked for a quick towel change both days and neither was accommodated, had to follow-up when we returned to the room late at night with tired kids who needed showers. I understand housekeeping is on a "request only" basis but when you request it two days in a row and it is disregarded both times its rather annoying. Hotel had a great location and rooms were updated and clean when we checked in,
tk Torres
tk Torres: READ BEFORE YOU BOOK !! I don’t recommend to stay at this hotel, I wish I had read the comments first. My room had stains on the wall. The restaurant menu has a few options. Be aware that they charge you a deposit of $100 for each night AND MOST IMPORTANT at 4 am we had to wake up because of a fire alarm and we had to wait in the shops downstairs, also it seems that this usually happens in this hotel because I was reading all the comments from the previous month and two years ago and others People had the same experience with the fire alarm, I find it a bit strange and disrespectful for a 4 star hotel. There are better options around.
Response: Hello Torres, Thank you, for taking the time to share your feedback. Please accept our sincere apologies that your stay was not up to your standards. This is not the service we wish to provide to our guest. We do understand that the fire alarm going off was a huge inconvenience. The alarm that went off was not technically for our hotel. Due to the hotel being connected to other buildings it impacts our hotel as well. I have noted our engineering regarding the stains on the walls. We hope that if your travels bring you back to DC, that you will allow us another opportunity to serve you. Thank you, Management
Carlos Gonzalez
Carlos Gonzalez: The staff were consistently friendly and the location is phenomenal- these are the only two things saving this hotel from failing completely. The beds are rock hard, in-house Starbucks is open for very limited hours, restaurant is nonexistent- never open. Also, for being a 4 star hotel, details matter. For instance, the room fridge was raised on a make-shift shelf and didn’t open without the whole unit completely coming out on your foot, one roll of toilet paper was given to the room, and (btw) the building had two full evacuations due to false fire alarms at 2:30am in a five day span - (two, what!?!) and no acknowledgement to guests - particularly with young families - about the inconvenience, no thought to offer free coffees or bar credit (for instance) the following days as a good gesture. Stay away if you can.
Response: Hi Carlos Gonzalez - Thanks for taking the time to drop us some positive feedback regarding our excellent location and friendly staff, but we're sorry that the rooms didn’t quite match your expectations. It is our goal to make sure you have the most exceptional guest experience possible and we apologize that we fell short during your visit. We’d like to invite you again to our hotel and experience an improved stay. If you have any further concerns, please share them with us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or (202) 484-1000.

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol: what do users think?
Siobhan Walker
Siobhan Walker: My stay was amazing. My room was spacious and so clean. The front desk was polite, helpful and very professional. Octavia was awesome. She was most helpful because the hotel I had a current reservation for had canceled my reservation and I had to make a reservation here last minute. She provided me the most outstanding customer service possible even with my frustration from the other hotel. Any questions I had was answered and my stay was relaxing. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
g watson
g watson: Customer service here is EXCELLENT. Very friendly staff - extra praise to the office manager, Reina Munoz and guest agent Janay! Hilton - you should recognize this location and their staff, they go above and beyond their call to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. All hotel/hospitality should take this location as the example for service. The rooms are clean, and quite comfortable and roomy - this hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from Union Station. I was here for business and I was delightfully surprised for the work space and seating area. I was also happy to learn their fitness center is open 24hrs...with my stay being business in nature - it is difficult for me to get a work out in at most places, due to the limited hours fitness centers are available. 100% recommend the US CAPITOL location. If you want to feel welcomed and comfortable, stay here!
Angela Baca
Angela Baca: The air conditioning in our room never worked even after they had someone come and fix it. The elevator stopped on every floor. The pool was available but it was foggy and couldn’t see the bottom of the pool because of this. Burned my kids eyes and mine. This hotel is older and not maintained well by Hilton. There are no fans in the bathroom so if you take a hot shower your whole hotel room fills with steam. The people are nice and it is located near a metro. Those are the only two things that are good about this hotel. Only stay here unless you just can’t find anywhere else to stay.
Response: Hi Angela Baca - We are sorry we did not live up to our high standards of exceeding expectations. Thanks for taking the time to provide your candid feedback regarding your experience with Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol. Natalie Martin
Natalie Martin: The staff was nice and did what they could, but the hotel was overwhelmed and not well maintained. It is unequipped to have more than 1-2 guests arriving or departing at the same time. It also has intentionally inadequate air conditioning. I have stayed at Hiltons in other cities that also have valet only parking. They’ve all had a driveway to pull in and unload your vehicle. This one has only a small shoulder that a maximum of 2 cars can pull into. Everyone else has to just stop in the middle of a busy street. There were no luggage carts when we arrived, left or had to move rooms on the second night. Other guests also told us that there were no luggage carts when they arrived. On the first night the room was consistently hot though we could hear the AC cut on and off. After coming to look at it twice, the maintenance man determined that the compressor in our room was broken so we were moved to a new room (again no luggage cart, we had a lot of stuff as we were traveling with a toddler). The maintenance man explained that the AC units are motion activated so guests will always return to a hot room and it will always get hot in the middle of the night so that’s why it took him so long to figure out that ours was actually broken. This seems incredibly stingy for a Hilton (in addition to being illogical as it takes more energy to cool a hot room than it does to simply maintain temperature). Stay here only if you are a single traveler with one suitcase and don’t mind an 80 degree room overnight and when you return after being out of the room. Other reviews mention how slow the elevator is, that is also true.
Response: Hi Natalie Martin - We are sorry we did not live up to our high standards of exceeding expectations. Thanks for taking the time to provide your candid feedback regarding your experience with our service and amenities. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so that we can look into this further. We look forward to making things right.
Geoffrey D
Geoffrey D: Parking valet lane is terribly short. Stains on the comforter. Breakfast included not properly advertised on elevator or through hotel. Laid out of first floor is very awkward, why have steps instead of escalator to second floor. Front desk staff were superb. All throughout the stay they were informative, helpful, positive and available! Wait for valet was not long at all, which was surprising. Minor issues, overall decent stay.
David
David: Very nice hotel - staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The Manager greeted us as we were leaving and just make the stay complete. Nice pool and restaurant - special call out Kevon our waiter for one of our evening meals. Great place to stay - close to a metro stop as well.
Chippy McLain
Chippy McLain: Guest services here should be renamed "guest hassles." Checking in and checking out were lengthy, frustrating ordeals. Paid valet parking was ineffective, slow, and overpriced--and apparently the only option. Showers were inconsistent, with cold winning two out of the three mornings we stayed. One of the two elevators was broken leading to overstuffed rides with no option of social distancing as well as long delays in the lobby. The spa had a new twist: a hot tub colder than the pool. I had hoped for a classy, Hilton experience for my family. I wish I had stayed at a Motel 6. I am thankful that I saw no rats inside the hotel. There were plenty just outside the front door; I assume due to the construction and vagrant tents across the street. This section of DC has some big rats. My littlest did think these were cool; my wife, not so much.
Sassy Sauce
Sassy Sauce: The hotel is pretty decent. It met all of our basic needs. It was as clean as I think it should be but the rest of my party felt it was ok. Parking can be a little challenging in the area but we managed. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. I would go back if I needed to.

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC Downtown: what do users think?
Lawrence Fulgieri
Lawrence Fulgieri: Perfect location…. Right across from Metro blue line. A few good restaurants close by. Staff was great. Like many hotels now, because of staffing issues, not all services are being performed but if you asked them for anything, they were right on it. My wife and two kids would definitely use that hotel again. We were originally placed on the 3rd floor and asked if we could go higher as to not hear street noise. No issues, they moved us up to 13 and it was great. Super friendly staff. All of them were super nice and were happy to serve.
Lei Howe
Lei Howe: Great location in the heart of Washington DC, you can walk to all the major attractions from this hotel. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Rooms are small to my standard, but it is understandable from the perspective of historical building and the location. Service is very good. The lobby manager Derrick is very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to find us two rooms next to each other and this made our stay much more pleasant. Would stay there again.
Richard Walsh
Richard Walsh: Mixed review for families. The location is what you’re paying for. Everything is walking distance. The rooms are okay. Clean. Nothing spectacular. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were very good and not over priced. The parking, taxes, and fees were a little excessive. $50 nightly to park and then another $50 nightly in taxes is excessive. Turned our good deal into a pricey 2 night stay for my family of 5. The hotel pool hours were from 6am to 11pm which my kids loved. However it was very small and pretty cold. I would probably not stay here again as the city has many 3 star name hotels for similar prices.
Response: Hi Richard Walsh - We're very sorry we failed to meet your expectations. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport if you would like to discuss the issues you had while staying with us in more depth. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
Samantha Showalter
Samantha Showalter: From check-in to check-out the service was excellent! I loved the location, the room was comfy, and the food in the restaurant yummy! The staff was really helpful and provided great recommendations. The doormen so nice and made coming/going very easy & welcoming. I would definitely stay here for vacation, but for business purposes, they made my stay very easy as I was constantly on the go for work. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn!
Sandra
Sandra: This hotel was amazing. The location is perfect to be able to walk everywhere in DC if you want to see the monuments and all the museums. There is a Starbucks across the street and a breakfast bagel too. The staff is super nice and helpful and the room is big and very clean. The bar and restaurant have great food and places to seat. I am coming back!
Bradley Cellier
Bradley Cellier: Clean property with good restaurant and friendly/competent staff-Nitporn in the restaurant was especially exceptional. Front desk staff seamlessly handled two separate reservations during the same stay without confusion or hiccups - I think Victoria made this happen, so thank you. The property could use lounging and/or more open space to relax. There is no place to sit besides in your hotel room or in the restaurant (and only when open). Room size was OK for a downtown property, and of course parking was quite expensive. Overall - very satisfied because of the cleanliness and staff.

Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport: what do users think?
Benjamin Jaehning
Benjamin Jaehning: Overall, an extremely dated and poorly maintained property. Our first room had a used mask in it when we checked in. Don’t expect to use the free shuttle service, they only operate a small van instead of the mini bus they also own resulting in multiple parties unable to board. Suggestion for management, learn the flight waves out of the airport and plan capacity accordingly. The rooms are extremely dated, sheets scratchy, hallways a blistering 80F and lack AC, gym dated and AC non-functional, food subpar and over priced ($5 for a cup of Folgers coffee when I can go to Starbucks for less). The only highlight, the staff is extremely kind and caring. They’re doing the best with what they have been given. My hope is hotel ownership spends some money to get this back to a Hilton quality product vs Holiday Inn. I mean don’t just spend money on a lobby renovation, actually address concerns in the building.
Response: Hi Benjamin Jaehning - We're happy you appreciated our beautiful resort and great staff. However, we're disappointed that your stay didn't exceed your expectations. Here at Hilton Crystal City at Washington Reagan National Airport, we strive to provide high-quality and consistent accommodations. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or give us a call at (703) 418-6800 so that we can look into this further.
Bill Johnson
Bill Johnson: Hotel location to the airport and a free shuttle are the only good things I can say about this Hilton. The lobby was nice. Rooms were old and aged. No USB ports and plugs were not easily accessible. Rooms need upgraded. Light switch panels are yellowed and dirty. Bathroom wallpaper was peeling in places. Shower water pressure was nice and strong. Room was clean, but needs to be updated.
Response: Dear Bill, Thank you for choosing our Hilton Crystal City. While we are glad to know you were pleased with our National Landing location and our beautiful lobby, we are truly sorry that you feel your stay was not the exceptional experience you deserve. We never want our guests to leave with a contrary opinion, and when given the opportunity, we will always take the necessary measures to address every concern while you are staying with us. Please be assured I have shared your thoughts with the Maintenance and Housekeeping teams and will continue to closely monitor guest comments on the points you have raised. I do hope to welcome yuo back to a greatly improved stay. Warm regards, Charles Hill, GM
Nicole Moore
Nicole Moore: Came here with an organization for a summit conference. The only negative comment I have is that there was a lady (short, curvy, middle aged looking) at the front desk that was extremely dismissive and rude when asked a simple question about the shuttle bus. For someone who agreed to a hospitality job… she needs to work on being hospitable. Her attitude was completely unnecessary when we were waiting for the shuttle for over 30 minutes trying to be on time for our flight. Other than that. The stay was great. Room was clean and was cleaned thoroughly for the three days I stayed. A front desk lady (from New York) and Milton were extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating along with some other staff members. Central location. Not too far from downtown DC and plenty of food options in walking distance.
Response: Dear Nicole, We strive to craft exceptional experiences for our guests with a commitment to superb service, and we regret that initially, we fell short of these standards in your case. This will be addressed properly with the appropriate individuals, and we appreciate you letting us know. That said, it brings me great pride and joy to hear that the rest of our team managed to turn your experience around. Our location could not be more perfect for those wishing to visit National Landing and Washington DC. I hope to welcome you back to our Hilton Crystal City for a flawless visit in the near future! Regards, Charles Hill, GM
April Clark
April Clark: My stay here was horrible! Starting with the blocked entrance and nobody moving cars to even be able to check in or park! The hotel definitely needs a Reno! I stayed on the top floor and there were some guests next door who were super loud and rude. I don’t blame Hilton for that, and they did move me down the hall but my other room still had to hear my he noise until after 1130 at night when some other guests started yelling for them to shut up. The water pipes made noise all night and when taking a shower the water kept cutting off! This was the worst stay! I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t shower properly and then when going to eat breakfast before checkout the staff member khan was super rude! It was 845 In the morning and they were out of almost everything on the menu! He kept cutting us off and saying we don’t have it! If breakfast ends at 11 why is the menu down to 1 option! I’m so disappointed and embarrassed to be a diamond member after this stay!
Response: Dear April, Thank you for this detailed feedback following your recent stay. It is extremely disappointing to learn of the issues you experienced and wish you to know that your concerns have been taken seriously. We will do all we can to ensure future stays meet your expectations in every way, especially with regards to the room allocation. There is no excuse for the lack of welcome or attentive service at breakfast. On this occasion we failed to provide you with the five star experience you expected and I am sorry. We take all guest feedback seriously and I thank you for highlighting these areas of our service that need our focus for improvement. Please be assured I have shared your thoughts regarding the shower with the Maintenance team and will continue to closely monitor guest comments on the points you have raised. We are grateful for your feedback and look forward to another opportunity to show you the true Hilton Crystal City experience. Warm regards, Charles Hill, GM
Krista Cortez
Krista Cortez: We only stayed here because we had an early flight out of DCA the next day. The hotel had a beautiful lobby and parking was pretty straightforward $40 for the day. The rooms themselves were outdated and small. The TV screens were small and the ambiance of the room didn’t match the beautiful lobby. Upon check-in, the reception desk wasn’t super friendly (more blunt and to the point) and didn’t provide extra details to enjoy the stay like where the gym or pool is or what time the restaurant is open. Definitely some room to improve in hospitality.
Response: Hi Krista Cortez - We are sorry for the poor service you received and the inconveniences you had. We greatly appreciate your comments about aspects of the room that need updating. We are committed to providing a well-maintained and comfortable room. Please feel free to reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport if you would like to discuss this further.
Jim Smith
Jim Smith: This Hilton is a little old but fairly well maintained. Great proximity to the airport and can walk easily to a few restaurants or catch an Uber or metro to DC. Parking garage is under the hotel which is convenient. If you are parking recommend getting the stay and park rate which gives you parking for a much lower price than just paying directly to park. Our king bed room was very large and it was clean but the could use some updating. The lobby area looks modern and clean
Response: Dear Jim, Thank you for writing such a detailed summary of your experience and taking the time to share your “pro tips” for future visitors. We appreciate your compliments of our Hilton Crystal City and will most definitely pass along your kind words. It sounds like your stay at our hotel was comfortable, and we would be thrilled to host you again when your travels next bring you back to Washington DC. Regards, Charles Hill, GM
Katie
Katie: One of the more dated rooms I’ve stayed in in a long time. Bathroom is cramped and not lit well. TV is tiny and old for what you expect to see in rooms these days. Doors slam shut, and there is no noise proofing. So you can hear when every person on your floor comes and goes. Air conditioner was squeaking and knocking non stop, and it was very loud. A bummer of a stay. Staff was very friendly and the only reason this didn’t get a 1 star visit.
Response: Hello Katie, Thank you for taking the time to review our Hilton Crystal City and provide feedback from your stay. I’m delighted you enjoyed the warm hospitality of our staff! We enjoy anticipating the needs of our guests, ensuring a uniquely satisfying stay. Naturally, it is disappointing to hear that the physical aspects of the hotel did not deliver on this occasion. We are always refining our offering which includes periodic enhancements to the property. It was a delight to serve you. We hope to see you again soon. All the best, Charles Hill, GM

Canopy by Hilton Washington DC The Wharf: what do users think?
Aisha Youins
Aisha Youins: This was my second time staying at this location in the past twelve month and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the time I called to confirm my arrival time until the point at which I checked out, I felt both valued and welcomed. The hotel staff went above and beyond my expectations. As soon as I checked in, I was greeted with a friendly text to make sure my process had gone smoothly and to see if I needed anything. I enjoyed cocktails and snacks at the rooftop lounge and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The location is perfectly located on The Wharf also. The only thing I noticed is that I was charged for WiFi. I assumed my membership status covered that charge, however maybe I’m mistaken. Nonetheless, I highly recommend The Canopy by Hilton on The Wharf and would absolutely stay again.
Response: Dear Aisha Youins, Thank you for taking the time to share this glowing review of your second experience at our hotel! It is wonderful to hear that you hold our staff in high regard as well as our accommodations and location. I will be certain to share your comments with our staff who truly love making our guests feel welcome when they come to town. Please find a reason to visit us again soon! Best, Mike Anderson Chief Enthusiast
Elline Salvatierra-Farinas
Elline Salvatierra-Farinas: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, great views and accessible to a lot of restaurants and tourist sites. The hotel service was excellent. We had a late flight out so had the chance to visit a museum. The hotel kept our luggages after checking out and we just came back for them after a museum run. I would just recommend to advise guests not to park before checking in to prevent the hassle of taking the car out again and have it valet parking. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, welcoming and great service. I would highly recommend to stay here
Response: Dear Elline Salvatierra-Farinas, Thanks so much for your review and recommendation! We appreciate hearing from you and are glad to know you enjoyed your stay and the level of service we provide. Thank you especially for recognizing the staff, I will be sure to share your kind comments. We look forward to seeing you on a return trip. Best, Mike Anderson Chief Enthusiast
Monica Kim
Monica Kim: The Location is perfect: this hotel is nestled in the heart of The Wharf where there are many restaurants and events. The actual style and amenities of the property are very nice. But the hotel site offers misleading room descriptions. I requested a River view room, but visibility was very limited: my room was directly above the courtyard. I understand that recent construction obstructs the River view, but that should be communicated to guests either during check-in so special requests could be made. Or additional accommodations should be offered. The overall cleanliness of the room was good (bedding, bathroom, seating), however there were handprints on the wall and lampshades which is pretty concerning.
Response: Dear Monica Kim, While it sounds like you had a lot to like about your stay, I am very sorry that we didn't exceed your expectations overall. Your detailed feedback is appreciated as it helps us to focus on the areas that need our immediate attention for improvement. We hope you will consider a return trip so we can provide you with a better experience. Sincerely, Mike Anderson Chief Enthusiast
Andrew Harmon (Werd69)
Andrew Harmon (Werd69): Great. Beautiful looking hotel. Wonderful location. They have a small restaurant which is expensive, a bakery and a rooftop bar. The hotel looks brand new. We had a standard room with a partial water view. The room was amazing. Oh and the pricing seemed fair to me.
Response: Dear Andrew Harmon (Werd69), Providing you with beautiful and affordable accommodations was our pleasure! Thank you for choosing our Canopy and taking the time to share this wonderful review. We hope to see you back soon. Best, Mike Anderson Chief Enthusiast
Russ Dean
Russ Dean: Keisha took wonderful care of us and accomodated an early check in. Valet was professional and on point. We had a studio suite that met all our needs. The bathroom left something to be desired but the floor to ceiling windows and accompanying views of the wharf and beyond made up for it. Location is perfect for a night out with lots to do and eat within 10 min walk. A must stay for me and always book riverfront!
Response: Dear Russ Dean, Thank you for sharing your experience. Your review serves as encouragement towards achieving our goal of providing the best accommodations and service. Your kind words let us know the efforts across all departments are being noticed. We are humbled by your recognition and hope to be your hotel of choice. Best, Mike Anderson Chief Enthusiast
Tasha Fuller
Tasha Fuller: We did an overnighter for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and had an amazing time. The room was spacious and gorgeous, we had an amazing view. We could not have picked a better location, the hotel was in the heart of the wharf and it was a short walk to the National Mall. We thoroughly enjoyed the free bikes and they really came in handy when our car was towed. Word to the wise, use the parking deck. The food was also amazing.
Response: Dear Tasha Fuller, We were privileged to help you celebrate your anniversary, and it is truly wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your experience and our hotel. Thank you for your gracious comments, and please know we look forward to the next time you visit. Best, Mike Anderson Chief Enthusiast

The Madison Hotel: what do users think?
Naile Ruiz
Naile Ruiz: The decor in the lobby was very nice! Rooms were average and cozy. Snacks and drinks were placed inside and would be charged to the card. Only small bottles of shampoo and conditioner were provided. Staff were kind and helped us when needed. I was able to leave my bag there after check-out while I explored the city until my flight.
A Lee
A Lee: Outdated room! Scratches were on the tv stand and mirror. Room is dirty. They don’t provide complimentary water in the room. They don’t provide masks in the lobby. Bed had some type of weird powdery substance on it. I paid more money thinking the hotel was going to be elite. It was basic.
Pat Pat
Pat Pat: We booked this hotel because it’s a 4 star hotel, but we were very disappointed. There were no shower cap or cotton swap provided. We called to request those items and the front desk said that they completely ran out of both items and they won’t be restock anytime before we checked out. I couldn’t believe they would ran out of basic amenities considering it’s a 4 star hotel. I would rather stay in a 3 star hotel with this type of service. If you plan to stay at this place, I’d recommend using their plastic laundry bag to substitute for the shower cap, but don’t forget to bring a rubber band to hold the bag in place.
Response: Hi Pat, Please accept our sincerest apologies for the unsatisfactory experience you had during your time with us. We are truly sorry and disappointed to hear about the perception you are left with about our service and accommodations. We have high expectations for ourselves and are all sorry we missed the mark on your experience. Should you ever find yourself back in town, please give us a chance to show you that our product and service can live up to your expectations.
Diana Braun
Diana Braun: The hotel lobby is nice. Staff is friendly. The parking situation for this hotel is a problem. Very tight parking spots and not at hotel. On the weekend the elevator in garage is not operational. Recommend dropping off suitcases at lobby and then park. Request coffee pot for room. Plenty of things to do once you get settled into hotel.
Cemal Etlik
Cemal Etlik: This hotel is nice but for a 4-star hotel, I would definitely go with another option. Even 2-3 star hotels provide a mini fridge and microwave, this place doesn’t have one and has additional costs to add it. The parking is a rip-off, not worth it. Find somewhere better.
Timothy McBride
Timothy McBride: Wonderful staff especially the Doormen and the front desk staff who were marvelous. The room maintenance staff were wonderful and timely . I only have one suggestion. As I am a big tipper in cash, getting change from larger bills to tip was not possible with the no cash policy.. Obviously I will be more aware of this for the next time.
Subsidies Suaish
Subsidies Suaish: Concierges didn’t have name tags, one was particularly rude; I found that unprofessional. The room we stayed in had garbage swept under the bed and the stand. We found a retail security tag folded into our comforter. I would never return here. Go to The Darcy if you want a nice location for a similar price. They serve cute cocktails and their staff actually does their jobs.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We are disheartened to hear that we fell short in so many areas throughout your visit and that your experience did not match your expectations. We appreciate your feedback immensely and can assure you that we will do everything in our control to rectify your concerns from this recent visit. Our goal is to always provide great service that will make you want to return again and again. We hope that you will give us another try and let us prove this to you during your next visit.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC - Crystal City: what do users think?
Margaret Sipola
Margaret Sipola: Comfy beds and pillows, staff is nice, love the free cookies, rooms are quiet. Rooms could use a little bit of maintenance as the wall USB ports don’t work, fan in bathroom doesn’t work, and wand to operate blind is broken so I had to manually close/open. Overall a good place to stay that’s not too far of a walk from metro station and also has a free airport shuttle that we used.
Response: Hi Margaret, Thank you for choosing our DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Crystal City! Our goal is to ensure that our guests are well looked after and any wants or needs are catered to, offering a faultless experience. We provide help with anything you may require for your room to requests ensuring your stay is as comfortable, relaxing, and stress-free as it should be while spoiling you with our amenities wherever possible. Thank you for highlighting our great mattresses, pillows and high-quality bedding. The complimentary cookies are always a favorite! Our management is always there to listen to any concerns you may have with your room. I wish you had informed them of the maintenance issues you encountered as there are quite a few measures we would have taken for immediate resolution. We apologize for the inconvenience and as it certainly is not typical of the services we provide, we take this service lapse very seriously. I would love the opportunity to host you again and restore your faith in our DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. Warm regards, Scott Ward, GM
Karen Orr
Karen Orr: Hotel rooms are clean and cleaning staff are very friendly and hard working. I was disappointed with the pool not being opened in the middle of summer. Beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are so flat, all six of them! For the price of this place I expected nicer beds n pillows.
Response: Hi Karen, We are sorry we did not live up to our high standards of exceeding expectations. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC - Crystal City is always committed to offering the best guest experience, and we missed the mark. We do appreciate your positive feedback about our cleanliness and staff. Your satisfaction is our top priority so we'll keep your comments in mind and ensure these issues are resolved. Keyani Rainey
Keyani Rainey: Super nice inside , rooms are spacious! My only two negatives are there is one microwave in the lobby for everyone to use instead of it being in the room also the sheets had stains on them and the bathroom sink was not clean. Everything else was great!

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/Georgetown Area: what do users think?
Maddie Becker
Maddie Becker: Overall a pleasant stay! The hotel room was pretty average, but incredibly quiet. Very close to many delicious restaurants and cafes! The staff was helpful and allowed us to store our bags before and after checkout. Valet parking was on the expensive side, but was comparable to other places nearby. Only big concern - the hallways had a pretty terrible sewage smell, however it didn’t seem to extend into the rooms.
Response: Dear Maddie Becker' Thank you for staying with us and for providing feedback on services. we delighted that your stay what pleasant! sd As spring arrives and overall energy level of the city picks up your experience at this location will elevate to exceptional - We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Sincerley,
Sharbari Ganguly
Sharbari Ganguly: Please do not stay in that hotel! Find some other place to stay! This was the worst experience we ever had have as we stayed there for 4 nights (end of Dec 2021) for a family vacation with our young children. We stayed there for 4 nights and we got horrible Services rather NO services at all. They did not offer room services, as I understand due to the COVID situation they would not offer everyday room service, but they mentioned if we ask for room cleaning they would. Since we had our two young children with us, we requested at least one room service during our entire stay! They did not provide any room service though, just dumped few new towels and after several request they emptied the trash cans only once. The Front desk lady was very rude! We had to keep requesting for coffee packets, paper cups, bathroom soap. Finally the day we checked out we had to wait for more than an hour after checking out for our car as their garage door was not working! Please avoid this place if you can!
Response: Dear Sharbari: We are terribly sorry for the challenges you encountered- I am copying my Leadership Team to investigate your complaint- We have been open through out the Covid-19 pandemic and did well to take care of our guests- So, I am shocked to hear your descriptions.... We will address the matter with our leadership Team. Ben Gould
Ben Gould: Nice hotel, great location and generally very quiet neighbourhood. The rooms were fine but just little dark, even when the sun was shining I had to have a light on in my room which was a shame. Was with a group and had coupons for breakfast at Chef Geoff’s. The breakfast was ok, service was generally not with a smile and not so quick either. All that aside I probably would stay here again as the check in staff were friendly and very helpful when checking in our group.
Response: Hello Ben Gould - We apologize that you received poor service during your stay with us. This is unacceptable! We will share this feedback with our team members and leadership and use it as a training opportunity to prevent issues like this in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and leaving us invaluable feedback.
JAMES HYDE
JAMES HYDE: The hotel is in a decent location, the rooms look fine. The mattress was slightly uncomfortable, the bedding looked old and worn. The shower was DISGUSTING in 833. Mildew, dirty, missing sealant/caulk, I went out and bought flip flops to shower, and NO water pressure.
Response: Hi JAMES HYDE - We're very sorry we failed to meet your expectations. Can you please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport to tell us more about your stay? Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and we do look forward to hearing from you.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown: what do users think?
Diarelys Camilo
Diarelys Camilo: This place was great for myself and my children. The rooms are a lot smaller than I expected but comfortable. The girls in the front desk were very helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was that my digital key did not work during my stay and after I paid for valet parking they told me they did not have a parking space available for me. However, they accomodated me as best as they could which I appreciated. The hotel is close to all attractions but use your car or your feet will hurt! Great place to stay. :)
Susan Cassidy
Susan Cassidy: The staff of this hotel are kind and welcoming. They really keep an eye on things, which I appreciate. We felt like we were safe and in good hands during our stay. We found the location really terrific, the lobby and room very comfortable. I was with two other family members, and we got connecting rooms, which made the stay quite enjoyable. Love having the equipped kitchen -- many thanks for including the corkscrew!!
donna minchew
donna minchew: The staff is excellent. I had a difficult time finding the hotel and kept going around the circle and missing the street. They tried their best to help but I found a police officer that gave me directions and I made it. I came primarily to see the Panda Cub and my niece! The staff called the cab for me to take to the zoo and dinner with my niece. They always had smiles on their faces. I would stay again if I cannot find a hotel closer to the zoo.
Rachel Barker
Rachel Barker: Very nice suite style hotel. Has a business center, laundry room, shop, gym. Free breakfast is really good. All the employees are amazing! Close to metro and downtown DC! Would recommend
Kelvin Yong
Kelvin Yong: Bad staff attitude. Particularly, Danielle Edwards is the worst front desk person I have ever met. Tried to check in @3:30 and was told to wait till 4pm. Then, Danielle told me to check back in 45 min with no explanation. Luckily, I did not sit around at the lobby. My room was not ready until 645pm!! Then the same bad attitude from Danielle when I get the luggage from the storage. Other staffs were professional, but my experience was ruined by one unprofessional front desk staff.
Response: Hello Kelvin Yong - We apologize for the poor service you received and for the long wait during the check-in process. This is unacceptable! We will share this feedback with our Front Desk team members and use it as a training opportunity to prevent issues like this in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and leaving us invaluable feedback.
Amberly Nunn
Amberly Nunn: I am on my first night of my first Spring Break since Covid trying to enjoy time with my family. Instead, I am spending the night talking to workers in a nightmare situation. I booked a Homewood Suites, there are two right down the road from each other. I must have booked the wrong one (the one without a pool) and my kids were devastated upon arrival. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and she said she would work with me to get it switched. I called the other Homewood and they were full, so they put me in Embassy instead, still Hilton owned. Now Homewood is not wanting to work with me and is charging me one night stay, saying I left voluntarily. While true, I thought it was with the understand that the woman at the desk would waive the night, especially since I am a VERY dedicated Honors member. I am disappointed and at a loss for words. I will now be paying an extra $450 for a hotel I will not be staying in. We had to save up quite a bit to stay at this brand in the first place; I expected a little compassion.
Response: Thank you for the review, Amberly Nunn. We would like the opportunity to investigate this further. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 265-8000?

Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center: what do users think?
Sassy Sauce
Sassy Sauce: I enjoyed staying at this hotel so much. They have the best sheets. They were nice and thick, smooth and just felt like a warm hug. I liked the sheets so much I called back to see if I could find out what the thread count and company were that made the sheets. They have a nice restaurant downstairs and the food is reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. It’s very close to downtown and walking distance to shops, restaurants, metro stations, and the arena. It’s a great location and I would definitely stay again.
Linda Maneen
Linda Maneen: Every staff member was great, helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Each did an excellent job in representing Hilton. The rooms definitely needed upgrading, so it is good that renovation is underway. Some guests were obnoxious, but that could not be helped. Fewer dogs would have been nice, too. The breakfasts and happy hours were most enjoyable. Because of the staff, five stars were earned.
Laura Taylor
Laura Taylor: This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The staff are excellent. I would like to mention Jessica, Richard and Brigitte who provided excellent service. The breakfast and manager’s reception are great. The rooms are clean, but during the course of our stay (that is why I have only given a 4 rating). The rooms could have been cleaned a bit better. One day, our garbages were not emptied. Overall, it was a good experience, but with the room blocks for the conference I attended, I was not able to stay a day longer that I needed to.
Allison H
Allison H: We typically love embassy suites. Location here is excellent. The hotel is under major construction. We had to step over uneven floor and construction zone in lobby. Room was large but exceptionally worn. Stains on carpet and sheets. Worn arms on chairs. We were woken up to a jackhammer at 730 am on Saturday. People on our floor had a pot party. We talked to manager who did try to make it up to us. They said they kicked out people with the pot. Very friendly staff. Many people came to breakfast in bare feet. Parking is very expensive at over70 per night with tax. Might be ok if completely renovated in future. Very different experience and level of clean than any other embassy suites we have ever stayed.
Katie Parsons
Katie Parsons: Hotel is nice and clean. Friendly staff. Valet parking is $69 for them to park it in a garage under the hotel🤯 of you ask where else you can park they (valet) will tell you no where, it’s too dangerous if you don’t park with them but couldn’t explain why. Complementary and made to order breakfast. Complimentary happy hour. There is no restaurant at the moment it’s being built and the pool area no longer has a hot tub so that was misleading. The hot tub and restaurant are why we booked here so that’s a disappointment. Pool is very small but other than those three things the stay was wonderful.

West End Washington DC, Tapestry Collection by Hilton: what do users think?
Nik Rama
Nik Rama: Man, I love Hilton hotels and have never had a bad experience until this one. This hotel is easily the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. First of all, when trying to access the hotel, the entire road was closed for construction. I called the hotel and asked how to get to the hotel, and all they suggested was to park several blocks away somewhere and walk to the hotel. This resulted in 30 minutes circling the area until I found a spot. Secondly, they don’t have a parking garage. They tell you to go to the Ritz-Carlton hotel and park there. This is incredibly inconvenient. Third, if you are a Diamond members, you get no perks. You are supposed to get $15 credit for food, but they don’t honor that. Fourth, they don’t have a restaurant at the hotel, so you can’t get any food here. Fifth, the “free breakfast” you get is appalling. It’s located in the cellar of the hotel, and this area is disgusting. There was mold on walks, the wooden floor was super sticky, and when I went in the morning, no one was even there. You get no hot food, and at most you can get a pre-made sandwich and microwave it. The food is set up on the bar table. It was so bad that We didn’t even eat anything, we just left. Sixth, the rooms are not clean. I saw several dead bugs in the room, making me question whether they actually clean the rooms. I have included one picture with a dead bug. Seventh, they don’t have a gym at the hotel. A simple necessity that is at any other hotel in the city. Eighth, the elevators are terrible. These are so small that barely ONE person can fit in them. If you try going with 2 people, you will be touching. It’s so bad that you can’t have more than one at a time. And finally, if you require a wheelchair, don’t come here. It is not wheelchair accessible at all (many stairs before getting to the area with elevators). Overall, stay away from this hotel as it was easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
Tobias B
Tobias B: If you are a light sleeper or need to get up early, avoid this hotel and rooms on the lower floors and near the elevator. The bar/club downstairs plays loud music until midnight during the weekends, the elevator makes loud noises when it arrives, and you can hear the rooms next to you. Official checkout is at noon, but your room key gets deactivated around 11:45, so you have to reactivate it in the lobby. The receptionist told us "Checkout is at noon guys.", as if we were at fault despite it only being 11:50. The rooms themselves were good and comfortable to stay.
Response: Hello Tobias B - We're sorry to hear you had such a negative experience at our property, but we really appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will use your feedback to make us better as we aim to make this right. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call us at (202) 457-0565 so we can learn more about your room and stay.
David Kemper
David Kemper: Very comfortable room and attentive staff, but there is a downstairs club that, at least on a Friday night, goes until 3am with both a loud back courtyard that is up against some of the rooms, and after being moved, also has a large outdoor line that made it hard to get much sleep. Unfortunate location of the club given the hotel is comfortable, clean and well cared for.
Response: We are sorry that your stay at West End Washington DC, Tapestry Collection by Hilton didn’t quite match your expectations, David Kemper. We strive to deliver a comfortable experience for our guests, and we will make every effort to ensure we do better in the future. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so we can improve. We look forward to hearing from you.
max costanzo
max costanzo: This hotel is the pits! Asked for a room cleaning and it never got done, they left the towels outside my door. The breakfast was of poor quality. Our room has leak stains on the roof. Beds suck. Front office never answers when you call. The only good thing was the aesthetic of the lobby
Response: Dear Max Costanzo, thank you for taking time to share your review. We strive to ensure that each and every guest has a stay that exceeds their expectations, and we missed the mark. Please accept our apologies for the challenges you experienced. We have shared your feedback with our management team so we can continue to make improvements. Please accept our apologies.
Abc Defgh
Abc Defgh: Intense outside noise. The hotel itself and the staff were wonderful...absolutely no complaints there. My overall experience rating is how the room was advertised. I stayed in Room #100 on a Friday night, but there was zero warning that the bar down below the room would be blasting its music until 3am. I ended up needing to try and sleep on a sofa in the lobby. Beware of extreme noise if you must stay on a Friday or Saturday.
Steven Power
Steven Power: Stay elsewhere if you are HHonors Diamond or want edible breakfast This hotel isn’t terrible, but there are far better nearby options, especially if you are a frequent traveler with Hilton. The good: The beds and room was fine. The staff was friendly. The location is great. The bad: The breakfast is abysmal. See my pictures. Despite being in bar, with sticky floors and dirty tables, the people working down there at breakfast wouldn’t even give me a glass of water, when I asked. She literally told me that I could only have hot water, that was out for making tea. The food looked terrible. Despite the “included breakfast” for Platinum members, we had to go out to breakfast elsewhere both days we were here. It all looked inedible and possibly dangerous. The internet is spotty and slow. It is so bad that I had to switch to my hotspot. The attention to detail is lacking. The shampoo bottle in our room was open and half empty when we checked in.
Response: Hi Steven Power - We’re normally known for our exceptional attention to detail, and we regret that we missed the mark during your stay with us. Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Georgetown: what do users think?
Damon Anthony
Damon Anthony: Hotel was great. The breakfast was dynamite. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location. My only issue was that some of the guests were being too comfortable. I noticed several times various guests walking around the lobby and restaurant without shoes or even barefooted. One lady was walking around the main lobby with only a robe. What happened to “No shoes, No shirt, No service.”
Jonathan Andersen
Jonathan Andersen: Opted for the large suite to house my family of 6 for a week long vacation. Brought along a twin air mattress for my adult son and was able to leave it up and the couch bed setup, with room to spare and move around. Staff was excellent. Room size was great. Rooms are just starting to show a bit of wear and tear, the only reason this hotel was not given 5 stars. Morning breakfast was a great time saver allowing us to fuel up and head out for a day of exploring.
Patty Adams
Patty Adams: Clean, comfortable hotel. Pool is small, but well maintained. Breakfast has a lot of options, but the quality has gone down since COVID. i.e. Watery eggs, thin heat n serve bacon & sausage, fresh fruit only 2x per week & only cantaloupe & honeydew. Only got the fancy danishes once when I went within 15 minutes of opening. Coffee was atrocious. Happy hour was Budweiser & cheap red wine. Cash bar offered a few local brews though & were generous with their pores.
Jane Kolotka-Earl
Jane Kolotka-Earl: Attended my nephews wedding in Washington DC. We booked at this place and we’re so pleased with the service we received. The breakfast and happy hour was great. The pool was nice but too many kids splashing and being rowdy. The hot tub was not working properly. We notified maintenance. Normally that would have upset me more but we were very busy enjoying our weekend with family so I’ve cut them some slack! If not for the pool and hot tub issues - this place would have easily received 5 stars,
Mary Leibold
Mary Leibold: I am going to be honest, I expected more. The staff were AMAZING and so helpful. I am a nurse and came to DC for a just a night get away. After all my activities I arrived late but planned a nice night in treating myself to room survive. Unfortunately they had closed the kitchen early. Relaxing in bed I was shocked to find out it didn’t have any smart features or any ability to even buy a movie. So o watched TV on my phone. And after asking for late checkout to sleep in unfortunately I was still awoken by housekeepers. Nice staff. But I expected more.

Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row: what do users think?
Joel Pagett
Joel Pagett: The Canopy Washington was our base for exploring the city for 4 days. It’s very well located in the city and is walkable to most major attractions. It’s also close to a variety of bus stops and Metro stations so you can travel further afield. The check in process was quick, friendly and efficient, and we quickly made our way up to the bedroom. It was surprisingly big and spacious, as well as being very stylish. The Nespresso machine was a nice and appreciated after a long flight too. We did have breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings, and although nothing ground-breaking, it was tasty and fairly well priced for Washington. We were thinking about stopping in for a drink one evening but we thought the atmosphere in the bar was a bit flat and corporate, so maybe some improvements could be made there to make it more enticing for leisure stays. Overall the stay was fantastic, and would stay here again in a heartbeat if visiting the beautiful city of Washington!
Response: Thank you Joel. We appreciate your feedback on our hotel. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the proximity to local attractions as well as the small things like our coffee machines! The Bar and Lounge just changed back to management by the hotel and are looking forward to jazzing things up a little! We look forward to offering you a warm welcome back to the Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row again soon.
Tiffany Aldridge
Tiffany Aldridge: My entire family loved this hotel. Extremely clean, warm and inviting. Room doors are set in alcoves, which reduces hall noise, so it was very quiet. Rooms are immaculate, have lots of storage and space to set your luggage. Beds are comfortable, and we loved the option of both a king and queen in the same room. The gift shop has locally made items you actually want to purchase. Staff is very friendly. Parking was available on the side street without the need for valet.
Tiffany Aldridge
Tiffany Aldridge: We enjoyed our stay very much - my entire family of four agreed it was a great hotel. Rooms and lobby are immaculate. Rooms have plenty of storage and space to spread out personal belongings. The option of both a king and queen in the same room is great for families with more or older kids. The gift shop has locally made gifts that you actually want to buy. All staff was friendly. Location is great - close to the white house, while quieter than I expected.
Andrew Harmon (Werd69)
Andrew Harmon (Werd69): Our stay here was fantastic. We did 2 nights and had a pleasurable time. The room was very clean and updated. We had no view but we got there early and instead of having us wait they gave us a room that was ready. We had breakfast there both days and it was great. The service was impeccable. The location was fantastic. Walking distance to restaurants. We took an uber to the Smithsonian museums which was not expensive. The hotel is not cheap but you get your monies worth and then some.
Amarilis Sostre
Amarilis Sostre: My family and I stayed at this location and it was absolutely wonderful. It was our first time in Washington and this hotel is placed at a great location. We were a few minutes walking distance from the White House, and Washington Monument. The staff was wonderful and made us feel very welcomed. I would definitely stay here again!
Response: Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We appreciate your feedback and will certainly pass on your comments to our team members. We look forward to offering you a warm welcome back to the Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row again soon.
Welt Reisender
Welt Reisender: Had a fabulous stay and have nothing but good things to say. The hotel is very beautiful and spacious. The location is perfect and is walking distance from all the hotspots in dc. All the staff was so friendly and welcomed me with warm smiles. Anything I needed was taken care of and the restaurant was so convenient and has outstanding food. Would definitely stay here again. Recommend the chicken tenders.
Philip Blaylock
Philip Blaylock: First, hotel appears to be quite new, very modern and updated in a very upscale area of DC. Room layout is wonderful with a large sliding door which divides the bedroom from the bathroom, where the shower and toilet have another door. Super comfortable beds, sheets and pillow, the only reason i gave 3 stars is due to the road noise and the amount of light that comes in from the top of the blackout curtains. If you can get a room that is not facing 16th St, 5 star all the way. If not, then bring your loudest sound machine.
Response: Hi Philip Blaylock - We greatly appreciate your positive comments about our amenities and accommodations, but we're sorry that we fell short in providing a comfortable experience. Thank you for taking the time to leave this invaluable feedback and rest assured that these comments have been shared to foster improvements. Guest satisfaction is always our priority. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an improved stay.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Arlington Rosslyn Key Bridge: what do users think?
Krishna Putchakayala
Krishna Putchakayala: Solid location with nearby grocery/drug store/restaurant options. Near metro, which is direct access to the National Mall and DCA. Free shuttle service which helped with luggage and may be needed for individuals with mobility issues (relatively steep uphill to first traffic light but not a major issue). Nice walkable playground and even car rental. Location made it easier to avoid traffic throughout our stay. Relatively new/clean with nice rooms and complimentary breakfast/happy hour that kept our children engaged and eating. Manager was great, stepping up to lend a hand with everything. Lobby was nice, inviting fireplace and table game.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us.
Jeanette C. Hicks
Jeanette C. Hicks: Pros: location!!! This is a 8-10 min walk to Rosslyn metro which is ideal for getting into DC easily. The hotel has a shuttle that is helpful. The hotel staff are very kind. Hotel is clean and the rooms very comfortable. There is a nice free snack/drink happy hour on some nights. Cons: I booked two connecting rooms and called twice to confirm. When we were given two rooms, not even next door to each other. The desk clerk did respond appropriately and acknowledged their error but it was frustrating. The breakfast included in the rooms is easily overwhelmed. We tried showing up earlier each morning and encountered hot food had run out, empty coffee urns, and often no more refills on hot items. If you want cereal, toast/bagel breakfast, it is fine. The bar/lounge area closes at 9pm and the water pressure in the shower was a trickle. It all depends what is most important to you in a DC area hotel.
Response: Hi Jeanette C. Hicks - We apologize for the inconveniences you had while you were with us. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (703) 348-2828 so we can learn what we could have done differently? Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.
Aliza Maaghop
Aliza Maaghop: Homewood Suites by Hilton Arlington Rosslyn Key Bridge is a great hotel for guests visiting the DC area. It’s far enough to not hear the bustle and noise from all the crowds next to the monuments in National Mall, but it’s still close enough of a drive and next to a lot of shops and restaurants. The check in/check out process is really easy when using and relying on the Hilton Honors app. When my husband and I drove into the parking garage, I was surprised that I could already use the digital key to enter from my phone. I would definitely recommend using the app especially if you don’t want to go to the front desk and go straight to your room and just want easy access to open everything in the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean; the service was also excellent when we had to go to the front desk to ask some questions. My husband and I loved the complimentary breakfast. Their breakfast is from 0600-0900 M-F, and 0700-1000 Sat/Sun and has a variety of foods like scrambled eggs, sausages, diced potatoes, bagels, muffins, and even a waffle maker! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back for our next DC trip.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. Really happy you and your husband enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to serving you soon in the near future. Have a great summer.
Leslie Jones
Leslie Jones: Once I added parking to our reservation, it was easy to check in ahead, share my digital key with my guest, and get in and out easily. But, our room, 725 was not as clean as we would have liked. The bathroom vent was dirty and the carpet has a major stain. Bed was comfortable and kitchen very usable.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us.
Courtney Phillips
Courtney Phillips: We had an exceptional experience staying here with our two kids for a trip to DC. The rooms were spotless, water pressure was great, and we came home from touring each day to fresh towels and made beds. The room setup was perfect for our family and allowed us a comfortable experience. We received prompt shuttle service to and from the Metro station which was a lifesaver. If we ever visit DC again, this would be our hotel again for sure!
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. Truly appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to serving you soon in the future.
Robin Green
Robin Green: We were there for a burial at Arlington. We shared a suite with family and were very happy with the room as well as the staff. Manager, Chris was extremely accommodating. Lobby was great place to gather and dinner was superb. Overall, an immensely positive experience despite the sober occasion.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. We truly appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to serving you soon under different circumstances. Thank you.
Alyssa Kullman
Alyssa Kullman: We stayed at the Arlington home wood suites by Hilton Sunday 07/03 at midnight until 1:30am 07/04 morning our fire alarm randomly went off. My daughter is asleep in our room with us she is 2. We called the front desk and he had no idea how to cut it off, he had to call the fire department. 15 minutes later they arrive and the front desk gentleman said that this has been a common thing with the fire alarm and the sensor in the room was faulty. Why was my family put at risk with a knocking faulty fire alarm in the room? We sat in the hallway outside our room for 45 minutes once they finally got the noise to stop the lights were still flashing. We were asked/ offered to switch rooms with my 2 year old at 1 in the morning. I’ve stayed here once before and had an amazing time so we came back, I am now regretting my decision as I type up this feedback at almost 2am. This stay was not worth almost $400. I attempted to submit a review privately to the Hilton but the website wouldn’t let me submit the review.
Response: Dear Ms. Alyssa Kullman, Thank you so much for staying with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconvenience. Please email us at dcalh_gm@hilton.com so we can further discuss about the issues that you had on July 4th. Thank you so much.
Miss g
Miss g: I stayed here almost once a month over the past year and my most recent stay was almost 5 months. Everything was good until my ring along with my grandmothers ring went missing ..after housekeeping cleaned before the holiday .reported to police and gm only for gm to transfer me to insurance.. who said they couldn’t pay out because no proof that anyone broke in or stole. I tipped housekeeping and staff greatly . Hr questioned why i took my rings off to cook and GM did nothing.. downstairs staff were pleasant but the most important thing is my grandmothers 40 year old ring is gone. I will never stay here again.
Response: Thank you so much for staying with us. Please email us @ DCALH_GM@hilton.com. We appreciate your feedback.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center: what do users think?
Kristine Habetler
Kristine Habetler: The staff is absolutely amazing! Close to the bus line and metro. Dog park right across the street. Police station on the corner (felt incredibly safe). Grocery store across the street. Our room was very spacious and perfect for two adults (one disabled and traveling with a wheelchair and crutches), our 13 yo son and our 150 lb service animal. We had plenty of room. The staff is simply amazing and very friendly and accommodating.
Sophia Coren
Sophia Coren: Friendly staff and decent breakfast but they are understaffed so requests take a few hours. They also had run out of shampoo and conditioner when we stayed. Room: We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was clean, modern, and spacious. I do wish the room had come with a desk chair in addition to the normal wood chairs as I was working remotely. The kitchen did not come well stocked. Our room had one small pot and lid; one large lid but no matching pot; and several knives and forks but only one big spoon. The bathroom did not come with shampoo or conditioner because the hotel ran out (they were not resupplied before we left so we never actually got any). The shower was large and the water pressure was good. Staff: Friendly but clearly understaffed as requests took a few hours. Location: Pretty good location within walking distance of the national mall.
Tiffany Michelle
Tiffany Michelle: Upon arriving, an early check in was offered. I left my bags and went to explore the city. I received a call from the front desk saying that the early check in was available. I went back to the hotel and it was past the original check in. The day manager was gone and the next person denied calling and said our room was in fact not ready. We waited for several minutes then issued a room. When we finally made it up to the room. The room was dirty with pet hair on the floor and the door not opening properly. We had to use force each time we needed to open or close it. The room was hot and the thermostat was locked. Engineering was called 3 times with no improvement in the room temperature. Staying in a hotel where you can’t adjust the temperature is awful. We were offered a room change around midnight. We moved into another room after two miserable nights with no air conditioning. I was offered a room credit for the inconvenience and terrible service. When I went to check out, there were no notes on the account. The manager said he would ask his employees and call me back. Of course, he never called. The room was very overpriced to have such a terrible experience.

Celeste Swanson
Celeste Swanson: All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful...especially Shaquita! The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was also fantastic! The breakfast area was super clean, and they had plenty of each food item. The pullout couch was somewhat uncomfortable, but everything else was great!
Fletcher Falls
Fletcher Falls: I want to start off by saying that the front line staff at this location was extremely friendly and were as helpful as they could be. This review is directed at the management team. My issues are as followed. 1. Currently I have been overbilled by $65 and they are unable to correct it. 2. The pet policy is not clearly stated. it states pets are welcome but there is no information in the large print that there is additional charge. It just states to give them a heads up. Which I did. 3. I asked for late check-out when I booked told it was not a problem I even called. Then when I get there they told me I could not have a late check out. As they were fully booked the next day. 4. We rent a King suite with a pull out couch to sleep a family of four which was our intention. Unfortunately the hotel could only supply a bed sheet for the pull out couch and no blanket. They told me there was supposed to be one in the room there was not one. I called the front desk and they said all their laundry was out being cleaned so they could not provide one. There was no mention of reimbursement for this slip in service. When I called to discuss these things I was not happy with how it was settled. They basically said it was a me problem. Currently my stay which online stated would cost me $193 including taxes is costing me $350 including taxes. Just killing you with the extras in fine print. Pet stay $50, car parking $49 and what ever else they overbilled me on. Just make this information more upfront so people can make an informed decision. I will be avoiding Homewood suites until they can be upfront with their guests.

Carolyn Tomaino
Carolyn Tomaino: Really beautiful hotel, a 1 mile walk straight down to the white house in a quaint "brownstone-like" neighborhood. Safeway with a Starbucks right across the street. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Handicapped room was a little snug but we made it work. Kitchen stovetop had a hood, which kept the smoke detector from going off when we cooked steaks for Christmas dinner. Not much parking beyond the pricey valet but they worked quickly and it was worth the price. We will be back!
TASHA HARRISON
TASHA HARRISON: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. If you need to be near the DC convention center, this is your spot. It is a quick like 7 min walk. It is located by great restaurants AND across the street from a grocery store, which is awesome since the hotel suites have a kitchen. The price was high but compatible with others in the area. Very nice staff. Comp breakfast was sufficient; hot and cold items. The fitness center has good equipment. I would definitely recommend. Garage parking at the hotel is $49 per day. Again about the same for other hotels. So if you dont need a car, dont bring it.
Silvia Goulart
Silvia Goulart: I have just checked in. room is terrible! everything outdated. the desk chair has a hole on it. dirty walls, door…. all the glasses are dirty. there is remaining soap from past guest on the soap dish inside the shower, not to mention pubic hair all over. water by the toilet floor. bath towels I wouldn’t give my dogs and only 2 bath towels for 3 guest on the reservation . thought I should trust hilton brand. extremely disappointed.
