Michael Kosenski: The staff are wonderful and friendly. The night manager whom we dealt with both nights could not have been more helpful, more friendly, or more professional, he was a pleasure to work with. Breakfast in the morning was very good - all fresh and well prepared. The breakfast attendants were great, especially the woman who personally made my wife a waffle and brought it over to us, with a warm smile and a pat on the shoulder. The location is a little far from DC, but it's a very easy drive to and fro on 66 so it was well worth the drive to get peace, quiet, free parking, and free breakfast. The grounds are very nice. It's all outside entrances which makes it easier to come and go. Also, it was very nice that they had the pool cleaned and the fountains on, even though it's closed to swimming. It just made the grounds so much more inviting, and it's not something they had to do, so it was greatly appreciated. We'll definitely return!

John O'Neill: We just had an excellent three night stay. Very nice room , quiet , everything was very clean and in working order . The breakfast selection was good every morning. Plenty of parking and a great location . You can catch a bus right accross the street to get to the Metro.The staff were all very pleasant and efficient. All in all a great place to stay . I only wish it had been a summer visit so we could have what looked to be a great pool.

steve zheng: Excellent hotel with wonderful hot breakfast daily. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice big pool is great plus a fitness room, too. Nice location, very convenient, and good value. I definitely would like recommend for someone visiting George Mason University or Washington DC area. AAA+++

Gloria Castro: Especially good was the breakfast that was included and the hostess/server was very pleasant and friendly. The front desk personnel was also very nice. The only negative we found was the wall to wall carpeting in the lobby . It needs to be replaced . It had a slight odor and the striped pattern made it difficult to walk on when going down the steps.

Kissy Y: The check-in took a little longer than expected. Room was clean but AC wasn't consistent. They let us grab breakfast even though it was past breakfast time which was nice of them. The breakfast options were good. We were satisfied, they had hot breakfast. Location is great. The Cue Green2 bus stops right in front of the hotel. Pool seems big and nice.

Andrew Sottile: This hotel is good for a one night stay, but I wouldn't stay any longer. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Common spaces have been updated. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious and better quality than more expensive hotels. The rooms on the other hand are in urgent need of renovating and updating. Stepping into the room, it looked and smelled like walking into a hotel room from the late 90s. Everything seemed clean, but during my check-in inspection ritual for bugs, the box spring and mattress were discovered to be 17 years old (manufacturer tag was dated 2005). The bathroom clearly had a leak in the ceiling at some point because the drywall was sloppily patched all over.

TG Fitch (VA Renaissance Man): Great mid century motel, fully updated rooms with fridge and microwave and modernized common areas. Friendly staff, huge breakfast spread. Convenient to GMU. Save $100 a night vs. some nearby options. Only complaint is the spine-crushing parking lot speed bumps.

Zaynab Taveras: The room was clean as was the pool outside. The shining star of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. There was a large variety of food (waffles, bagels, fruit, sausage, etc) I’d come back again just for the breakfast

Gail Gosnell: Upon arrival, Pam greeted us with a welcoming friendly smile. Room clean, comfy and quiet. Opted for buffet breakfast that totally blew us away. So many choices. Decided on freshly made omelets prepared by Theirry who was extremely attentive and more than accommodating. Such a pleasure to see smiling, happy employees for a change. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Oren Kessous: I stayed here with my family and we had a good time in this hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we had a nice view over the city and park. The hotel crew was nice and kind and we had no trouble at all getting anything we needed. The breakfast was OK although typical with waffles and maple syrop plus black coffee which is a nice way to start the day. In summery, we got a long bang for a buck since we could'nt afford luxury hotels and this one suited us and met our expectations and much more.

Oi Lin “Chinagirl568” Wong: Nice hotel but will never recommend this to anyone... It sounded like there is a club downstairs... We couldn't find parking one night because the people going to the club took all of the parking spots... There should be designated spots for hotel guests only. And they should sound proof the club because we could hear the music thumping in our room on the top floor... The hotel itself was well maintained and clean.

Mona Tanyi: I was traveling through and just wanted a place to crash before continuing on my way early in the morning so I didnt wanna pay too much for a room but also didn't wanna stay in a motel. So I can't say I'm complaining because you get what you pay for. It's um.... well... if you prefer the "finer" things in life, this is not it. It smells like old carpet, the rooms are extremely outdated and questionable. It looked clean but the microwave and mini fridge are dirty, had food and drink stains, and rusting (I opened them to check out of curiosity). Yuck! Definitely not somewhere I'd stay for more than a passing night. The lady at the front desk was nice, professional, polite, and the operation was prompt. 5 stars to her. There was some kind of nightclub event going on open to the public but I barely heard the noise from the 5th floor so I slept fine. Overall not a terrible visit, but it was a pass through. I was in after midnight and out by 9am so I really just went there to lay my head for the night and keep it pushing.

Ali W: Rating for the room being one star is because when I arrive the pictures were low of what I found in my room. It makes me think house keeping is rushing and not doing a thorough job. Note: Not all rooms come with fridges and microwaves., Must be requested. Also no Continental breakfast, it cost $9.50 plus tax. Didn't have the opportunity to try because it was crowded.

Vanesa Osei: This place is literally the crustiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We checked into our room and within two seconds found BUGS IN OUR BED. The bathroom is rusty. The whole building has a bad smell. The roofs were leaking due to the rain. The rooms are terribly outdated. We took a video and picture of the bugs and other issues in our room and kindly approached management. They said to call the third party we booked from and when the third party just needed confirmation that they approve the refund from the manager, Helen Lyon, she changed her story around and blatantly lied on us saying she checked the room and found no buy when I was standing in front of her the whole time after showing her the video of the bugs on our bed. She was completely unprofessional after we asked for a refund and at a certain point refused to speak to us and stormed out of the lobby. This has honestly been my worst experience at a hotel and I will never.

S Blood: Beds and pillows were really comfortable, but the music was so loud in the party room that it vibrated the bed. Even with earplugs in it kept me awake until the music ended at 1 am. Also, not enough towels and washcloths in the bathroom for 4 ppl.

diana lubas: Is you want to rest then you run the risk of having a room vibrating from the club downstairs and getting absolutely no sleep. There is no room cheap enough to make me ever think this customer experience was with it.
Response: Over the weekends when we are very full, the rooms with two double beds are not able to be upgraded if we do not have any other available rooms. Some of these rooms are above the nightclub. Anita Kay: Excellent place to stay. Reasonably price, full hot breakfast, breakfast area kept clean, free parking, very well lit, wonderful professional employees. Don't stay a motel next door. Pay to park and "grab and go breakfast - had to pay for it. Receptionist directed me to McDonald's for breakfast, block away. WUT!!!???

Lee Draper: Very impressive building staff polite friendly and professional what a nice positive attitude to walk into. The rooms are spacious bed very comfortable clean fridge microwave and safe the bathroom is very comfortable good size and you have a couch in the room for comfort. Breakfast was great very enjoyable fresh products and the area is clean a nice spot. All in all a good experience and will happily go back again.

Peri (Smoppet): Been staying here almost 3 weeks with my dad because my sister is in the nearby hospital having a medical emergency. We moved rooms 3 times and checked in and out a few times to extend the reservation. The TVs are kind of weird because there's no way to change the input method, despite what the remote says. You have to put your HDMI cord into the back where one is already inserted, rather than into the open one on the side. The first room came with a fold out bed (which I slept on, of course). It wasn't comfortable. We changed rooms after learning my sister would have a longer stay in the hospital, and I got a queen-sized bed that was much better. The third room had a few problems. The television jack wasn't in properly, so I had to re-insert it. The drawers were kind of messed up. The top one doesn't push in smoothly, and the handle is swinging on the second. I tried to screw it back in, but it came off again. There was a home football game one night and the hotel was packed, which made us aware that the parking lot was lacking sufficient spots. We had to park along the edge of the driveway. The view isn't anything to brag about. On one side you can spy on Denny's and the other displays construction. The staff was friendly. My dad is used to waking up early, so we were always downstairs at the brink of dawn for the free breakfast. He kept complaining about the pancake maker not functioning, which got on my nerves and I'm glad the staff didn't knock him out LOL There's a refrigerator and microwave in the room as well.

Arlene: This was my husband and I first time there and our stay was phenomenal. The rooms was nice, spacious, clean and highly updated. We were given an business room that overlooked the front area with a shopping center right across the street. Customer service was great. They made us feel comfortable and right at home. Justin Dunn: This hotel was so good! We stayed for 7 days my flight got cancelled and stayed for another 3 days. The room was very clean. The beds were comfy, and the breakfast was good! The staff was great as well they were very kind, polite, and went above and beyond! Our car had gotten stuck in snow and the man working the front desk had came out with shovels to help me dig my car out! All of these great things and more for a super low price, this hotel was great and I would recommend it to anybody!

Nathan Felosi: Overall good stay. The front desk guy was great. Breakfast was good and always timely. Recently remodeled. Great value for the rate comparable to other hotels in the area. Lot of good restaurants within walking distance. Good option for not staying in DC and decent commute in.

Harshad Pandit: We had a great experience staying at the Best Western Hotel. The staff was courteous and the entire hotel appeared remodeled and modern. The rooms were clean. The location was safe and just 20 minutes from DC and Alexandria. The hotel also included a hot buffet as a part of the tariff. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, cereals, pancakes, waffles, donuts, muffins, juice, a variety of coffees, tea etc. A lot of choice. Several restaurants are within driving distance from the hotel. The hotel manager Marcus Reid was kind and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. During the breakfast my wife lost/dropped her phone/wallet which also included cards and cash. The breakfast room staff was honest and kept it aside. This was our first trip post covid and we couldn't have selected a better place to stay.

J.E.: It was clean, new feel and the A/C worked well. Other reviews mentioned the comfortable beds and they are correct. Employees were all nice and professional. The setup was weird though as the only way in or out was through the front door while they have a nice bbq and picnic area in the back. You have to walk around the building to get that area which isn't huge but the reason no one uses I'm sure. Not the best area after sundown if you have to venture out on foot.

savannah martin: My husband and I stood here for 6 nights and enjoyed it very much. The hospitality staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was actually very tasty every morning. The rooms were very nice and clean, the bed comfortable, the AC worked great, nice shower, lots of channels on the TV, large mini fridge and microwave. Well highly recommend this hotel and location and plan to use best Western from now on.

The Girl With A Pen: The room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also nice. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Only complaint really was that the breakfast was just ok, a little disappointing compared to other Best Westerns I've been to, but it was still a pleasant hotel.

J Brew: Don't judge a book by it's cover. The hotel is being remodeled so the exterior doesn't look great. Room was very good. Front desk service by Charles, Alyssa, Mike and Loren was efficient and friendly. The breakfast was quite good. Price was excellent for the area.

Sherille Shirazal SHitzel: I arrived on the later side because I was unable or it was starting to frustrate me try to book something online. Paid full price for a room that I may be stayed in for hours. Check-in took a very long time. The lobby was very active. There was a wedding reception. Parking was di farther away due to the event. I believe probably how far into the hotel my room was was probably due to that as well. It was convenient to have the elevator since I think I was on the fifth floor. They did accommodate animals. But elevator and stairs and far away to get to a walking area did make it more of a challenge

Robert Harris: Rhe hotel was cool. They had breakfast, not bad. They were under construction, and it made itna little ruff, to enter and leave. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was awesome. I look forward, to coming back. The staff was nice as well.

Tee Tee: Review 05.21.22 hotel is under construction. Checkin area is in a small room with 2-3 max person capacity. No lobby area for lounging and the big breakfast area is closed by 9AM even if you just want to sit and finish your food. They will kick guests out of the breakfast/sitting area at 9 on the dot. No iron (in any cabinet) in the room and no microwave. Noise from other rooms and hallways are rather loud especially at night.

Debi Durbano: clean place. nothing fancy. No housekeeping due to covid and they dont tell you that unless you ask if your room will be made up. We had a 4 night stay and needed to ask 2 or 3 times for towels etc . Soap, Shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty and unavailable. Continental Breakfast seemed a few days old. Hotel currently under a very noisy construction.

Roy Porter: The facility was nice. It exceeded my expectations. It’s in a good location and I was happy that they allowed me to park a large ugly commercial truck right in the front. The young man at the desk was very pleasant at check in as was the fellow in the morning at check out. This would have been a five star review except for a few things. 1) I called from their parking lot to see if they would allow my large truck and the person that answered the phone for reservations could not answer the question. The number that I called is the number posted on this Google listing. 2) The person on this phone call quoted a rate of $169 per night and wanted to confirm a reservation with me without confirming that my large truck would be allowed. When asked this gentleman admitted that he did not work at this property and was taking reservations remotely. 3) I went to the front desk to ask if the truck would be allowed and was happy to hear that it would. But disappointed to be quoted a higher rate of $195/night. I asked why the difference but got no reasonable explanation. Surely I could have called reservations and gotten the other rate but it wasn’t worth a sour relationship with the staff on site over $30 so I paid the higher rate. My complaint isn’t about the rate. It’s about the discrepancy and lack of explanation. 4) My biggest complaint saved for last….. Housekeeping entered my room at 8 am after knocking for 3 seconds. I was still sleeping. I did wake up and go to the door to see the housekeeper going down the hallway. When she exited, the room the door didn’t latch. Had I not woken up, the door would not have been securely shut and my room accessible to anyone while I slept. I wasn’t very happy about that at all. I did not have the do not disturb sign displayed but checkout wasn’t until 11am and we were only staying one night. I have been staying at hotels my whole life and it’s rare that I have ever had housekeeping knocking at 8am and never had them walk in after a couple seconds of knocking. I’m very disappointed about this. I checked in around 8:30pm. For $200 for the night I think I should be entitled to privacy until check out time or at least 9-10am.

The number you called was the hotel's direct number. When selecting the option to make a reservation, the call goes to our central reservation department. To speak to the hotel directly, press 0. The agent at central reservations could have and should have contacted the hotel while you were on the phone to inquire about large truck parking availability that night. More importantly, we will review with housekeeping the proper procedure for knocking on the doors of departure rooms and securing doors. We hope that you will stay with us again on future visit so we can provide you with a better guest experience.

Ed Hodge: I have stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks while I’m waiting more permanent lodging. I am very pleased. Very clean, well managed, & a happy staff. They include a hot breakfast… Eggs, waffles, sausage, fruit… Good. The manager, Dixie Eng(?) seems to try hard to satisfy her guests. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hollie Rejonis: Love Staying here. Very clean, recently updated rooms, and wonderful breakfast! Dixie, Staci, Ramel and Staff always makes me feel so welcome. Staff know who I am have no clue who most are just feels great. Love the new add touch of the hand sanitizer in each of the rooms. Thank you for always trying to take the best care of the guest.

Frances Mannarino: We stayed here this past week for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We traveled with our two teens and our booked suite was not ready yet as the hotel is under some renovations. They were able to accomodate us in two adjoining rooms, which worked out just as well for our family. The hotel was spotless, and the rooms were very nice, modern, and clean. The breakfast in the morning was enjoyable and filling. The hotel was just off the highway which was great, and there were restaurants within walking distance. The staff was always polite and provided a friendly greeting whenever we arrived back from sighseeing in DC. Parking was free which was great as well.

Grace White: We stayed here for a few weeks and it was fantastic. The employees are all SO SO nice and helpful. There wasn’t a problem they couldn’t solve and it was always quick! I highly recommend the BWP. The new renovations are also amazing! The rooms are modern and comfortable

Molina Fox: I don't ever leave negative reviews. But I'm sorry this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Furniture all tore up and broke down. Rickety creaking beds that felt like they would fall any moment.. No hot water. Remote didn't work. Floor all tore up by elevator. Had to go out the bathroom to turn around because it was so small. Only positive I can say is fridge and microwave and air conditioning worked well. Nobody should of been put on 4th floor. Breakfast was horrible. Threw in trash. This is more a motel @ a 1.5 star

Zabihullah Ibrahimi: Not very good. Bathroom was stinky, Beds were uncomfortable, but Parking was good and had enough space. $100 deposit was taken per room, and its been 20 days, not refunded yet. Now I have to make calls , put claims to retrieve my money back. Over all bad experience.

Barbara-Ann Tacconelli: A great hotel.. Very clean. Animal-friendly.. I have a service dog and he was welcomed with open arms. Will definitely book again I go to this area approximately every every 3 months.

Dilip Naik: The place is ok. The rooms were ok, but not as clean as you would expect. The tv made clicking odd sound when turned on. Same with the window as well. Asked for an extra towel and did not receive one. Breakfast is served by the staff one by one which is time consuming and restrictive. Its a bit far from the center so not really the best place to stay if you are visitng DC. 30 minute drive to the center.
