US EEOC: what do users think?
Kenny Goldsmith
Kenny Goldsmith: If I could give 0 stars I would, I had a good discrimination case and they dropped it. I wonder how much my former employer gave them.
MD Heel
MD Heel: At the Washington DC office, the EEOC intake counselors are incompetent on application of laws and regulations on a case-by-case basis. They failed to capture details to substantiate claims. The worst of all is having interns serving as intake counselors who can’t write complete sentences and capture details needed for cases. I had to speak with the intern on two occasions and she failed to still get the essence of my claim. It took speaking to a supervisor.
Nu H
Nu H: Professional staff, from security to intake clerk. May be best if you have an attorney help you draft a letter and articulate the specific discrimination; helps intake to help you. Info sheets were also useful. While not everyone may have the money to fight the legal case afterwards, use all the free services for which your taxes pay. You never know, EEOC may litigate on your behalf. Employer notified within 10 days of filing.
Robby “JAMMIN' ROBBY” Baker
Robby “JAMMIN' ROBBY” Baker: when you ask them to send paper out in the mail there not much help i argue with my own issues with poor employment places this place deserves to be shut down
Ms Chen
Ms Chen: My intake counselor rolled his eyes towards me a few times during my session. He acted like I was wasting his time. Overall I am very disappointed with my experience.
Anonymous Reviewer
Anonymous Reviewer: The EEOC is a sham. This federal agency doesn’t follow its own guidelines. Employers under the Washington Field Office’s jurisdiction know that they can discriminate because if you file a charge, nothing will happen, other than creating a lot of work for you, and more pain, with no consequences for the employer. No matter what evidence you provide, or how carefully you articulate what happened, you cannot count on anyone to read it or care or follow up appropriately. EEOC staff have excellent salaries, benefits and job security, paid for by the rest of us. They need not actually do their jobs, just show up, then go home. What a shame.
Jamilah Jones
Jamilah Jones: We are very disappointed that this office does not provide reasonable accommodation for the Muslim community. Several people have called the various field offices to file complaints of anti-Muslim discrimination and harassment. Nobody there speaks the various languages of our community; Arabic, Urdu, Pushtu, Bengali.

Department of Employment Services: what do users think?
Demetrius L
Demetrius L: I am frustrated at this point and do not understand how people can continue to not resolve an issue that is clearly their fault. I am owed money that has yet to be paid out to me after 2 years. I waited patiently on email responses, phone calls, and even office appointments that led me no where. I recently finally spoke with a "claims examiner" that I have been waiting to speak with for 2 years now. After finally speaking with one we communicated for 2 months, just to be told he know what needs to happen in order for me to get the back pay, but did not feel as though he wanted to work on it. I reached out by email a day ago after 2 months of being unclear as to what is happening. He told me that he no longer works in this department DOES and referred me to someone whose email address is not valid. What is there to do? no solution to getting money that is owed to me! I do not understand how could this be happening at this point with these people.
Natasha
Natasha: This is getting completely insane! I filed for unemployment benefit in February 2022. However, i have not received any of my benefits. I called them EVERY week. They say my records are ok, but they have no idea when I will receive payments. I do not see how I can escalate because they refuse me to connect to the manager.
Francesca
Francesca: In regards of everything for Syep everything runs smoothly. However there needs to be more respectful security guards hired because they are very nasty when doing check bagging and stuff. Just unnecessarily rude for no reason. It happens evertime I come to this place regarding syep
Tracye Traynham
Tracye Traynham: Working here was truly a nightmare. From the employee discrimination and witnessing workers target claimants in bias practices. I was able to witness the lack of empathy for people who really needed assistance and could not get it because of lazy unprofessional sarcastic management. It’s sad to see millions of government dollars being held in these trying times. I pray that no one ever has to go through the horrific experience that endured as an employee at DOES.
K A
K A: Does and their employees are trash. Literally been waiting 6 months for some type of progress or response.Every link they sent either didn’t work or wasn’t the right one. Every-time I called it was something different because people do not know how to do their job and just want to get people off the phone. We are real people out here needing the help. I did everything you all asked of me TRIED to use the resources (but again they send the wrong link) I have been more than understanding, cooperative, and pleasant but that got me no where, but about to get evicted (would be first time EVER !!) and its during a pandemic. What a world to live in.
W Jones
W Jones: The customer service representatives are amazing, they are informative, curious and professional. My issue is the claims examiners. I have a single administrative flag. I have sent the information over three times. Alas, my claims rests with a single claims examiner Jasmine. I am not sure if Jasmine is real and is just been on vacation for over thirty days living her best life or is some mythical person/burecratic black hole where things in the office disappear. All I know is Jasmine needs to push the button or whatever it is to do what she needs to do. MurielBowser I need my money.
Maja Svensson
Maja Svensson: Great customer service. No progress. No retro active payments ..6 months.. Here me out, you may think people aren’t looking for jobs but we’re trying to find the right jobs long term so we don’t end up in this situation again.. it’s brutal in this pandemic good jobs are very competitive 5 rounds of interviews, we can’t pay our bills or even commute to find a job, have some grace… this is nightmare for all involved its our right to have assistance

gerard lyons
gerard lyons: Had a great dinner here with wounded warriors foundation. The building itself is beautiful and teh Ambassador was a great host. His parents were visiting to from UK and we sat with them at dinner, such a fun older couple!
christine savage
christine savage: Very un informal no help at all
Matt Warren
Matt Warren: No idea why so many of the reviews of this place are negative. I lost my passport and wallet whilst travelling the USA. Booked an appointment for an Emergency Passport online, followed the process and they even mailed me my Emergency Passport to a hotel I was staying at later on in my trip so that I could continue my plans. I had no issues using the Emergency Passport and the Embassy were even helpful and responsive to me when my scheduled flight out of Miami was cancelled (due to Hurricane Irma) and I had to get a flight out on a different date.
Julie Kuhl
Julie Kuhl: I have ONE simple question and what do I get? I get the worst British accent and a circle of nothing and I mean nothing. I need a working number for the Gov.UK. HM passport office. I got more information, better information from the United States immigration offices but I did not get a working phone number. What is the deal? Are they not here to help us? Seems to me that they, like the American government are off this week! I am so frustrate. If anyone has the correct phone number for the British Passport office please post it, post it anywhere, post it everywhere! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

kenna mcculloch: The woman at the counter was amazing. I had no clue what I was doing and she kindly waked me through everything. She was friendly, great smile and overall wonderful service
KB
KB: Easy access, great new facility, well kept. Downsides: She staff are a bit rude and slow. And the place is kind of in the hood. Still recommend though.
Response: Hi, we're so happy we were able to help you out! Thank you so much again for your feedback! We hope you have a great day!
Arthur Jones, IV
Arthur Jones, IV: This week I went to CubeSmart in need of a new unit. Upon arrival, the assistance and the energy was warm and intentional. The initial service member aided me in finding a location actually closer to my home! Once coming to the second location, the atmosphere was just as amicable and helpful. I was greeted with urgency as Tracey opened the door up for me upon meeting her for the first time (the manager). Tracey was very intentional, thorough and benevolent and went above and beyond with exceptional customer service. She gave me a tour of the entire building (twice) and explained everything thoroughly even with me on a time crunch and I appreciate that. Definitely recommend! Come see Tracey and her team if you need storage!
Response: Hi Arthur, Iv, thanks for your praise and kind comments about our team. If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
Jackie Brown
Jackie Brown: Absolute best customer service experience from GM Tracey at this location. Every effort was made to ensure that all of my needs for space rental were taken care of and that I received all available amenities. Tracey’s knowledge of the business and her professionalism added greatly to the experience. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.
Matthew Hall
Matthew Hall: Nice and convenient. Parking for larger vehicles is very limited and tight. Very clean facility and good staff.
Response: Hi Matthew, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience! Thank you so much again for your feedback! We hope you have a great day!
Liliana Covington
Liliana Covington: The GM, Tracey, is absolutely incredible! I cannot say enough about her. She was friendly and welcoming, and ensured I understood exactly what I was signing during contracting. She was gracious and patient while showing me three different storage units. Tracey mentioned that this location was a promotion for her, and clearly that promotion went to the very best person! The location is great and the building is safe.
Response: Hi Liliana, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to Tracey here at CubeSmart Self Storage! We're glad to hear we delivered such a great experience. If there's anything further we can do for you, we are happy to help!
McKindria Letsinger
McKindria Letsinger: Tracey Squire is super professional and accommodating! I have enjoyed 5-star customer service from requesting a unit and consulting with her on the perfect unit for my storage needs and ensuring that each visit is easy and hassle-free. Not to mention, the facility is clean every time I’m there and staff are always enforcing CoVID-19 safety precautions at all times. I feel safe coming in and out of the unit. There is minimal foot traffic which makes my visit quick and convenient. Thank you Tracey for you superb customer service!

Self Storage Plus: what do users think?
Chelsea Spencer
Chelsea Spencer: I was referred to this facility by my aunt who also absolutely loves this place. The service I received was exceptional.. i didn’t get her name but I know she was the daughter of the General manager of the facility. She was so sweet, quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. The security of the place is very good. You have to put your code in several times to access the building and floors which I truly like and makes me feel more at peace about having my things there. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars and will refer anyone in this area who needs a storage unit to come here! Thank you for making my process a smooth one!
Response: Chelsea, Thanks for the AMAZING review!
Judith Williams.
Judith Williams.: Self storage plus in Charlestown WV is run by a friendly and professional staff. It’s a great place to keep your belongings if you are ever in need of a storage unit. The buildings and the grounds are well kept and there are cameras throughout for an added security. I highly recommend this location! Thanks to the entire staff of Self Storage Plus in Charlestown WV!
Response: Thanks so much!
Danny Hassoun
Danny Hassoun: All storage places are pretty much the same...I am only writing this bc of the above and beyond amazing service that Shay, (manager) consistently provided. She was always honest and direct, but fair and kind. I fell some months behind during COVD, and she really helped me figure out the best way to get everything straightened out. Thank you to Shay for being kind and patient.
Response: Thanks so much for your feedback! We appreciate it!

Tonya C: Briana was very sweet and helpful, she also was very professional. Great costumer service is very hard to find nowadays, im so glad I came here and the prices are reasonable.
Response: Thanks Tonya! We aim to please!
Sharon Cravens
Sharon Cravens: They were prepared and professional. All of your questions are answered, thoroughly knowledgeable of and operate in a timely fashion. Also helps you every step of the way. The one star they should have is the electronic feature at all locations to be able to get in and out securely of your locker. I feel it’s more convenient. Other than that they are great!!!!
Response: Thank you so much for your honest feedback! We appreciate it!
Almeada “Buttercup” Thorne

The St. Regis Washington, D.C.: what do users think?
Lisa
Lisa: You will hear the food and beverage director before you see him. During our trip, he raised his voice multiple times quite angrily - it was quite concerning to hear him speak to guest service staff in such a way and that he was comfortable enough to do it in front of guests, too. Otherwise, my husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay. Our room was amazing and there were lots of friendly faces. I also especially enjoyed the pillows, and I wish I had thought to ask what type they were as they were super comfy.
Squirrely
Squirrely: Five stars all around. The rooms are elegant, updated, clean, and comfortable. Each staff member I dealt with went above and beyond to help. I was especially pleased with the front desk employee who grabbed me a cup of coffee in the middle of the night when I had to catch an early flight. The location is excellent and there are plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance.
Liem Huynh
Liem Huynh: We stayed for one night in the Metropolitan Suite in June 2022. The room desperately needs renovation and service was nonexistence. Disappointing experience overall. No prearrival email, no response when I emailed the butler service for restaurant reservation, zero communication from the butler during the entire stay. Unfriendly lobby staff, no greeting, had to open the door on my own at times. The Metropolitan Suite was old and in need of a renovation. Dirty pillow cases, worn out carpets, water from faucet smelled a little punky and we even found pieces of shattered glass on the floor. Only positive experience was the check-in, after that everything went down hill. Recommend trying something else while you’re in DC. Much better experience at the Ritz Carltons if you’re a Marriott fan.
Joe J.
Joe J.: Amazing tea experience in DC, probably the best in terms of service, flavor, presentation and selection of teas. The cherry blossom touch is a nice and pleasant surprise. Although it is on the pricey end, definitely recommend!
Ayesha SH
Ayesha SH: I attended the Whimsy event on April 1. Pros and cons below: Pros: Wine was good. We ordered a Napa cab so it was costly. Ambiance was decent. The best part was their waiters who were super friendly and hospitable. Cons: I was told parking would be validated prior to attending the event. On the day of they refused. We spent upwards of $600 and they wouldn’t validate the parking. Food was ok. I didn’t feel that great later at night. The princess thing was childish, hilarious, and unnecessary. Adults attend these kinds of events not kids. Overall not worth the money they charged us.

Washington Sports Clubs - DuPont Circle: what do users think?
G L
G L: Supports individuals following members and blames the victim for the harassment they endured. Canceled their membership for documenting the stalker following them and still charged them for the membership. Very unprofessional on the phone when this situation was being discussed and stated that the victim should have talked to management as if them being followed is something they would address. The company would not address the stalker and that is very clear. It is important that everyone feels safe and comfortable at the gym and they did not create that sort of environment for the victim. I would absolutely not suggest this gym and believe all current members cancel as soon as they possibly can. You are not safe. You will never be safe in this gym. They do not care about their customers…
Jesse Bacon
Jesse Bacon: I was in town three days for a conference and needed a gym to workout in… when we asked about daily passes the staff was super friendly and helpful in allowing me and a colleague to utilize the facility… I was able to complete all of my CrossFit workouts for the three days I was there. The facility was spacious and had everything we needed. Would totally recommend to anyone in the area looking for a gym home or those passing though on business. I’ll visit again whenever I’m in the area.
Response: Hi Jesse! That's amazing, we are so glad you were able to enjoy our Dupont Circle facility and what the club has to offer. We really hope to see you again in the future! Thanks again, HereToHelp@tsiclubs.com
J Heather
J Heather: Very friendly front desk staff and cleaning staff. Location is well maintained (cleanliness and equipment). The location can get crowded especially during rush hours (around lunch and at the end of the day). The other WSC nearby shutdown so their members automatically transferred to this location. Bathroom/lockers may be spotty at times but it depends on the time of the day. They offer membership discounts if you sign up in person (just a warning regarding the annual fee- they cannot waive it).
Response: J Heather, We're thrilled that you were satisfied with our Dupont Circle location. We are happy to hear our team members are meeting your expectations. Your feedback is appreciated, and we are here should you ever need help in the future. You can always reach us at Heretohelp@tsiclubs.com. Thanks again, Here to Help Team
Whittney Dents
Whittney Dents: A club member was being followed and recorded the interaction to protect himself. Instead of the manager being understanding, he abruptly canceled the members membership and would not give them a refund. In a society where you truly don’t know the intentions of people, recording yourself for protection should not be punished. Shame on this establishment and the manager.
Nesi Smith
Nesi Smith: This gym feel as if it’s ok for a member to be stalked and you terminate them because they’re recording for their safety!!! As a former law enforcement officer I felt the need to record was justifiable and due to the fact that he didn’t report it shouldn’t matter. You have all types of weirdos working out so the need to report is slim to none unless that person actually starts following and stalking you to point where every move you make they make!!!! Refund should have been given as well as an apology.
Micha-Re Newton
Micha-Re Newton: This gym disregards the safety of its members and instead punishes them for taking precautions of their own safety. A recent member had just posted an interaction on social media of how he was followed by a man throughout his entire visit. The man would move to every corner that the member did. Even down to preforming intimidating acts by setting his belongings directly next to the member. WSC then decided that they would suspend the members membership for “recording and posting. & should have taken it to management” yet no actions have been taking on the predatory behavior of the man that was recorded. I can’t imagine how they would treat a woman in this same situation if this is how they treated a gentleman.
Tiana Stewart
Tiana Stewart: This club does not care about the safety and well-being of their customers. Your membership will be terminated if you vent about the gym on social media with no refund of your monthly payment. This gym is not safe If you are attending alone. If you do go to this gym, please go with another person so that you were not followed around the gym.

Omni Shoreham Hotel: what do users think?
J MacDrizzly
J MacDrizzly: The Omni DC is a wonderful place to stay while visiting our nation’s Capital. As a guest, It is not uncommon to run into our political leaders, or dignitaries, as many of them have meetings inside the hotel. The old world charm of the hotel, is not lost to mismanagement, or poor upkeep. It’s truly one of a kind. I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s so close to so much, and has some of the most beautiful surrounding streets, large bridges, and enormous towering trees ; that so much of the city has lost with the rapid development. The staff is also very knowledgeable, courteous, and will go out of their way to see you are enjoying your stay. The rooms are spacious, and clean, there is a great little cafe, as well as a restaurant that serves very traditional breakfast. My only complaint, would be that the magnet keys are very easily deprogrammed, so if you can take one piece of advice, don’t let your phone, or any other cards near your key card. Lastly their is a plethora of good, inexpensive restaurants just a stones throw away, as well as a CVS and an exquisite liquor store, that offers a wide assortment of wine and spirits. I could go on about this hotel, I suggest you just give it a visit yourself. I almost forgot about the pool…. Great way to relax and take in some of the natural beauty, while basking in the midday sun. By

Muriel Rand
Muriel Rand: Charming historic hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean. Good conference/businesses facilities. Service was fine, but very few people available. A bit hard to find the meeting rooms and noone to help. Elevators are tiny and slow. Beautiful lobby and gorgeous gardens behind the hotel. Prefect to sit under the trees.
Response: Hi Muriel, Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful experience at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. We love hearing about our guests experience and are delighted you enjoyed your stay. Michelle Olson
Michelle Olson: We could not have been more pleased with our stay at this hotel! Upon arrival we were met with a friendly greeting from the doormen. Our bags were brought up by the bellman within 30 seconds of entering our room. From that moment, every employee that we had contact with was friendly & helpful! David at the concierge desk had so much knowledge of the area & was able to get us a dinner reservation at a wonderful restaurant. The gym has a wide variety of machines. The outdoor pool was clean & well maintained. I also like that the hotel is right next to the trails at Rock Creek park, the Metro is a block away, the zoo is a three block walk (or $2 bus ride) & there are numerous restaurants to choose from a block away. My only complaint would be that the bathroom counter was small but that is what you get in a historic hotel.
liz
liz: Beautiful grounds, and great location. The subway is super close by! Staff were okay, nothing special. The bed was very comfortable and the overall room was fine, nothing amazing (which it should of been for the price). I was also upset to hear that breakfast is not included. Considering the price of the room, it really should of been. The hotel seems a little outdated but nonetheless I liked the history behind it. I enjoyed the stay but wouldn’t rave about the hotel. Its not the worst thing in the world having to stay here but for how much I paid I will look at other options next time.
Response: Hi Liz, Thank you for your review and letting us know how we can improve the experience for you and future guests. I hope you choose to return and allow us to improve the experience on your next visit. Amanda Jeffries, Marketing & Social Media Manager
Shelby Pelesky
Shelby Pelesky: Attempted to stay here and upon arrival the lobby was beautiful. Unfortunately, that is where the elegance ended. Checking in at 5pm, we received our first room only to find it hadn’t been cleaned - the comforter and sheets were rumpled and pillows on the floor. We were given another room and after opening the door, we were severely underwhelmed. The room was very dated (same as the first) but much smaller than the first room. This room at least had the appearance of being cleaned until you lifted the comforter to find hairs in the sheets. We flushed the toilet upon entry and it did not stop running the entire 20 minutes we were in the room. Additionally, after decided not to stay, the valet seemed to have lost my car keys. We waited for an additional 30 minutes just to get the vehicle. Would not recommend for anything other than a pretty lobby.
Steffon Greatness
Steffon Greatness: Very Nice place. Amazingly friendly staff. Very big rooms. Stayed on the East Side (Promenade). The pool is outside so I didn’t go but I did take a look. The pool was stated to be heated. The bathroom was not what I liked in a hotel bathroom. I didn’t use the curtain the first time I showered and almost started a flood… The drains may need to be updated. It feels really old there. Valet service is $55 a day. Daily Hold of $100 a Night. (Released at checkout)
CD A
CD A: This is a 1930 built Grand Hotel. Most of that charm is still found here. My room was large and well appointed. The front desk made for an easy check in and out. The maid service was excellent. A beautiful swimming pool, back terrace off the main dining area to take meals al fresco. I was there for a meeting and stayed a week. The main lobby and dining area are beautiful. As for the location, the Zoo, area with mid priced restaurants of all kinds, and the metro a block away to get around. Excellent price and location. I definitely would stay here again.
Response: Hi CD, Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful experience at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. We love hearing about our guests experience and are delighted you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit. Amanda Jeffries Marketing & Social Media Manager
Sonny Kim
Sonny Kim: We were absolutely disappointed with everything. The staff from arriving to leaving was completely abrupt and unhelpful. We unfortunately had one of the guests cancel last minute due to testing positive for covid and the hotel staff was completely unaccommodating to put us in a smaller room. The room itself smelled old and damp and only offered toiletries for ONE guest even though the room had two beds and our reservation was for FOUR. The shower ended up clogging up and there were brown stains on the blinds in the bathroom and the staff was able to change our rooms but the next room was not that much better. The staff was also completely unhelpful in advising us on how valet parking worked so we spent the majority of time indecisive on whether to use the valet or find alternative parking. We ultimately were completely disappointed in the amount of money we spent at this hotel and in no way received the level of service to match that.
Response: Thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent stay at our property. By telling us what you liked about your stay and how we can improve, you are helping us deliver a superior experience for you and other guests in the future. I am so sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations. Our hotel offers valet parking only, with the possibility to go in and out anytime. Your comments were shared to our Housekeeping and engineering team regarding the room condition. I hope you will give us a second chance and we will make sure to wow your experience. Sincerely,

Anthony Scott: While the food was descent, the service was so so. Once the cashier finally paid attention to us and we were able to order, she was very friendly. But prior to taking our order, she continued to talk to another employee and chat about non work stuff and ignore customers. The sweet potato fries and grasshopper shake were very good.
Taylor Fain
Taylor Fain: Very disappointed in their response to covid. Forcing students who have children to go back into classes of 150 people. Very irresponsible and not taking safety seriously.

It is much needed for replacing water pipes, connecting communities divided by I275 through improved transit opportunities, inceasing the safety of intersections, creating bike lanes and Smart Streets. A wonderful investment that will help this area thrive again. Thank you all at USDOT and to the leadership of Secretary Buttigieg and his teams.

United States Postal Service: what do users think?
Catania James
Catania James: Since moving to D.C. in 2019, I have seen this post office go through a couple staff changes. I think it’s been a positive thing!! Today (Sat, 12/11/21) I have received the best service to date!!! There were 3 women behind the counter and they were professional, courteous, knowledgeable about the services and gave prompt service to everyone in the line. When I first entered the post office, I was a little nervous about joining the line however they had the line moving in an efficient manner. I waited about 5 minutes. they were also clear with the customers about which register took cash only and patiently assisted customers who were sending packages internationally and helped them refill out paperwork that was illegible or filled out incorrectly. I hope this post office keeps this configuration of staff!!
Shalin Nohria
Shalin Nohria: The location is great, the service is awful. I literally heard the employees laughing about how they sent someone away when they could have helped. New management is definitely needed.
Jordan Bickham
Jordan Bickham: I arrived at 9:10 to drop off a prepaid label package but the doors were locked. Me and other people have been waiting and watching as the people inside ignore us even though they are supposed to be open at 9. It’s now 9:30 and still nothing. Absolutely horrible USPS!
Kelly Shurtleff
Kelly Shurtleff: The USPS is a disgrace!! It should be abolished and charged with racketeering. They charge for services that they do not provide in good faith! They now want more money and want to do less! They tell you to pay more money for Priority services (not guaranteed) and NEVER come close to delivering on time. What the @#$@# are we paying for??? they cannot be held accountable like almost every other business. You cannot sue or take any legal action!!! AND THEY ARE NOT A FEDERAL GOVT. BUSINESS!!!! how can congress allow this to happen with repercussions??? Now you cannot even file a missing mail for at least a week!! What a joke on the American public!!!! write you congressman and demand changes!!!!
Jessica Hsu
Jessica Hsu: I almost didn’t come here because of the reviews, but had no choice. I was here at 1:36pm on Thursday. Clerk 12 was helpful and kind. My two other packages with pre-paid labels were scanned promptly. I had a positive experience at this location.
elijah
elijah: I didn’t get her name but the young lady working around 11am on June 17th (she was working the register to the left as you face the registers) was super helpful! I was shipping a package and she had me out in under 5 minutes. I’m in a wheelchair and she informed me that they finally fixed the handicap button for the door so I just had to hit it to get out. I don’t know about all these negative reviews but I firmly believe just be nice to folks and you’ll get the same back. So sorry I didn’t catch your name but thanks for making my experience great!
Oancea Marcela
Oancea Marcela: 9:41am supposed to be already open and working, it’s about 15 people waiting for them to open the door, I can’t believe this can actually happen on a regular day looks like people here work by their own working schedule. Worst experience ever.

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC: what do users think?
Shining Starzz
Shining Starzz: I’ve stayed in hotels all around the world and this is my favorite. Front staff was friendly and sociable. Check-in was easy. Free happy hour in the evening. High vault ceilings in the rooms, which are well decorated. Large full mirror in the rooms and little things like the jewelry box, umbrella, yoga mat, exotic animal print robes and natural soap make a big difference. Only disappointment was the view from my window.
Susan Payne
Susan Payne: Friendly, attentive staff, spacious lobby and guest rooms with funky meets traditional furnishings, soaring ceilings, and comfy beds. Perfect location for Smithsonian and within walking distance to the Tidal Basin/cherry blossoms. We felt very safe walking around. Complimentary coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings - a nice touch. Several very good restaurants within a few steps from the hotel in every direction, including a lively restaurant/bar with outdoor seating in the hotel’s own courtyard. We’re hoping to make this an annual trip!
Ray Bentley
Ray Bentley: This was the WORST experience of my life. When I arrived my room was not prepared at 3pm on a Saturday! We ended up not being able to change and we’re late to an engagement. I asked the staff when and why our rooms were not ready and they gave us no timeline until I asked for the third time. Upon asking the front desk attendant was extremely rude when I really tried to be overly nice about the situation. Upon my room being prepared they didn’t apologize and might as well have just thrown my hotel card keys at me. When I asked what they could do to accommodate the issues we experienced, she said nothing. They finally gave us fifty dollars credit to a restaurant at the hotel. When we went to check out they also tried charging us for the fifty dollars we used at the restaurant and basically called me a liar until I explained how terrible of a stay I had. Going further our rooms were not cleaned the entire weekend and they blamed it on staffing and Covid issues. They did not adjust our price even though we booked through American Express travel. The worst part of all of this was the fire alarm that went off at 2am requiring the entire hotel to exit. They chose to rent out there lounge on the roof that evening to a 21st birthday party in which someone pulled the fire alarm. This place is a frat house not a hotel. It’s very disappointing because the furniture and ambiance of the space was great. A manager was supposed to call me after I checked out and I have received nothing of the kind. Worst stay I’ve ever had in a hotel and I travel for work all the time. Location and hotel furniture fixtures plus, everything else was absolutely terrible. Disappointing. Zero stars if I could.
Chad Rea
Chad Rea: Stayed here 4 nights for a work conference and must say it was disappointing for a luxury branded IHG/Kimpton property. The hotel absolutely has some bold decor choices (which I kind of enjoyed) with the furniture and wallpaper. Rooms - I stayed in room 218, the bed was too soft for my liking, and the pillows were not great quality. The room also had an unusual smell which I could not identify. The weather was in the low 30s during my stay, and the thermostat would not go above 65 no matter high I set the heater temperature (thankfully I like my rooms cold). The restaurant "Dirty Habit" was really good, the charcoal bun burger was phenomenal. The location is perfect, I was across the street from the Wizards arena, and within walking distance of a ton of great restaurants and all of the smithsonian museums. Big Plus! And I must shout out the exceptional service. The staff was excellent, front desk was helpful and check-in was a breeze. Waiting staff during the provided conference meals were very attentive. The bellmen were also friendly and accommodating. Daily housekeeping was great. And the complimentary wine (in evening) and coffee (in the morning) in the lobby was a nice touch. Overall, solid hotel, great staff, but desperately in need of a makeover.
Matthew Radomski
Matthew Radomski: The service was fantastic. We were welcomed by Belinda at the front desk when we checked in. There was a small error with our reservation (used a 3rd party app) and it took them maybe 2-3 minutes to fix the error. Belinda and another gentleman at the front desk went out of their way to make upgraded accommodations for us, and ensure we had a great time. Throughout our entire stay, we were greeted by name and asked how everything was. I could not have asked for better service.
Jeremy
Jeremy: Unless you have a written guarantee that you will NOT be in a basement room, don’t stay here. The basement rooms are musty and provide a view of the sidewalk and garbage cans. Staff were less than helpful as I watched guests who arrived after me get checked in. All of this well past the posted 3:00pm check-in time.

United States Postal Service: what do users think?
Zenzalei Zee
Zenzalei Zee: Does not answer the phone. I got lost trying to find the place for my passport appointment and called to get directions. Because they did not answer to help me, I was 10 minutes late for my appointment. Then they would not help me because they said it takes 15 minutes for each customer. However, when you book your appointment, you do it in half-hour increments. They still had 20 minutes to help me for what they themselves said 15 minutes. Also, they have lost two of my packages. They come so late that our rental office is closed and the carrier cannot get in, so they say they will try to redeliver the packages and they never did. Amazon still has them as attempting to deliver my package on January 7. It is now January 11 and there has been no further update other than "USPS will try again on the next business day." That was yesterday. Meanwhile they are delivering other packages to my building. This post office is HORRIBLE and I miss having the one in Courthouse as my post office. I am going to issue a formal complaint with the USPS and I suggest others do, too. The postmaster here needs to be held accountable for the poor quality of the staff who work at this post office.
Emily Deanne
Emily Deanne: Not a huge fan of this post office. The lines are always long and the service is always slow. Sometimes the staff can be rude as well. If you can try to avoid going to the counter. I would recommend using the Kiosk or doing click and ship - so you print a label at home and can just put your package in the drop box. I have never had a pleasant experience going up to the desk. One time I had a package to send and the person behind the desk just took my package and tossed it onto another desk without saying a word. It was unclear if that meant it was going to be processed or if they wanted me to take it back. So I took it back and then walked it over to the drop box to put in in there. Otherwise, I was unsure whether it would just sit out on the desk all day!
Ryan Verey
Ryan Verey: Scheduled a passport appointment here with my 3 month old son. The lady was so rude I was honestly taken back. She said the pic would look bad because my child is white and wearing a white sweater. I said there was nothing in the application about refraining from wearing white to which she replied “it’s common sense”. The other lady helping me was nice and even said that she is always like this and difficult to work with. She was going out of her way to be rude. What’s funny is I told the nicer lady that we came here because this location is usually nicer than the staff on S Glebe (which are another level of rude) and she told me that this lady used to be at that location which I found kind of funny.
Olivia Lanham
Olivia Lanham: Truly a terrible experience every time I go here. Long lines and bad customer service that surely incentives most locals to use other carriers in the area. Todays experience summarizes a typical sort of encounter- There weren’t many customers but there was a line forming at the post-it-yourself machine because apparently the main desk was down. I approached the main desk just to ask for advice and to borrow a singular piece of tape. The woman ignored me, had her personal AirPods in. I then stood back to wait as she took another customer (who was not in line). Everyone at the machine now realized that her desk was, in fact, not out of service. I found another attendant to ask for the piece of tape. She said they didn’t have any (???) but that I could buy some (not a normal roll, that wasn’t even in stock). Same goes for scissors to cut this tape. None sold, and I was told to use a pen. Two other customers were having similar experiences with the attitude of the women working, and the three of us helped each other sharing the supplies found in our purses- pens, scraps of tape, etc. We finally are able to attach our labels loosely to the prepaid packages, knowing that ultimately the lady behind the counter will more pristinely re-tape it all with the tape she apparently doesn’t have. I get it. They can’t give everyone a handout. But an act of kindness, especially when the store is not busy, does go a long way. The three other customers and I agreed that it’s worth it to just pay for better service elsewhere next time.
Kate Winterholler
Kate Winterholler: Is the requirement to work here that you are the rudest, most condescending person ever? Never in my life have I received such horrible service. I am appalled at the way I was treated at this USPS passport agency— from the second I stepped in the door I was spoken down to in an EXTREMELY harsh manner for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and then, the woman conducting my appointment turned me away for a completely false reason (I have since verified to be VIABLE proof of citizenship by 2 different government agencies including the Department of State,) so she turned me away for no reason other than she is a lazy and inconsiderate person who doesn’t want to do their job and gets off on speaking down to people and ruining their day. Also, I asked for a pen while I was waiting to fill out the needed forms, and THEY gave me a blue pen, then proceeded to tell me blue ink is unviable and to re-do the form in black ink. YOU gave me the blue pen to begin with. The fact that our government functions like this is abhorrent. Thank you for the false information and cruelty!
Delena Ganey
Delena Ganey: Staff has always been very helpful, and the line is never more than ~4 people. I have never had a negative experience and have been here several times!
Kujnn Yaah
Kujnn Yaah: Tamika the Supervisor NOT HELPFUL and how long have the same problems with her and this post office now in this new location continues to happen. Tamika have not resolve issues with missing mail that always happen with the Carriers! Carriers loses mail quit often. REPORT THE SORTING MAIL OR CARRIERS WHO DO NOT DELIVER YOUR FIRST CLASS MAIL ALWAYS MISSING ESPECIALLY IF IT IS A GIFT CARD OR CREDIT CARD. THE POSTAL SERVICE IN ARLINGTON COUNTY NEEDS INVESTIGATIONS DUE TO HOW MUSCH MAIL IS ALWAYS TAMPERED WITH.
Leslie Smith
Leslie Smith: Staff is rude and does not prioritize customers. There was a line of five people and one staff member was standing at the desk organizing paper. After getting to the front of the line, I was told that I could not be helped because my package did not yet have tape on it. I brought my own and it took me two seconds to tape. I had to have it open to show them the return address on my return sheet before placing it in my package. They gave me a hard time about this too. I’m sad that this is going to be my new post office as it is next to my new apartment. I miss the treatment at the UPS store that was next to my old apartment.
Josh Johnson
Josh Johnson: Staff is rude and slow. They’re busy chatting with each other and playing with their phones while there’s a long line of people. They don’t answer the phone when I tried calling.

Mayo: Failed to deliver my package to the destination (although they marked it as "delivered", then eventually admitted that they lost the package and told me that there is nothing they could do about it. They have no idea where they placed it and were not willing to provide the senders info. so that I could get an idea of who sent it.
Matko
Matko: False statement about delivery attempt. My home is high rise building with 24-hour front desk but carrier made remark saying that delivery attempt was made and I have to pickup item myself. Did not make clear location where and no explanation. why. What is going on with USPS?

Residence Inn by Marriott Washington Downtown/Convention Center: what do users think?
Kristina. Lumapas
Kristina. Lumapas: Overall everything was great from check-in to checkout. Room was clean, bathroom felt luxurious and kitchen was fully equipped. The only downside was the bed size. We booked a room with king bed and what we got was a queen. We reported this to front desk and they insisted that it was their king size bed. I couldn’t be wrong with the size since we have a regular king bed at home, not even a California king bed, and theirs was just too small, I’m very sure it was a queen. If you’ll get assigned to room 1010, don’t expect a king bed, it’s just too small. My husband slept on the couch since me, our preschooler and him couldn’t fit.
Nicole Laskin
Nicole Laskin: Highly recommended. Really enjoyed our stay here. Came to DC for the first time, and loved the convenient access to the green line metro. It made it very easy to navigate the city. The room was clean and plenty of space for just the two of us. Price is reasonable for a big city. Would recommend and definitely would stay again.
MR. MiIosz
MR. MiIosz: Disappointed. I was really excited to stay here as the hotel is fairly new and the pictures looked really nice. However, this hotel has not been kept up well. Many stains on the couch and the bedside table had many scratches.Have stayed in older hotels that had better upkeep. Their measurements are also off. Their standard suite was NOT 471 sq feet, maybe 371 and the bed was a Queen not a King. Dishonest! If they were honest about the room and bed size, it would be a 3 or maybe a 4 but the false advertising needs to be noted.
Albert Wu
Albert Wu: Modern, new looking, well designed business hotel just adjacent to the convention center. All of the staff is very friendly, nice, and efficient. Pillows are fluffy. Beds are comfortable. I had a satisfying stay to visit relatives for a few days at this hotel. Rooftop access is very nice. The scenery on top is not exactly spectacular but it feels good to relax in the comfortable furniture and enjoy outdoor air on rooftop. A lot of TV options in the room. Somehow casting from iphone doesn’t work. The website mentioned in the instructions doesn’t work. A technician tried to come to help but I think it is a website issue and not a hardware issue in the room. Breakfast area is cozy and breakfast wait staff is highly courteous. However, the breakfast food variety and quality is not better than in lower end hotels though.
Chyna Westfall
Chyna Westfall: We had a great stay while in DC. We stayed for 4 days. The room though a little dated was very clean and housekeeping was awesome. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Complementary breakfast had a good selection. We did not try the restaurant. Being located on the 12th floor directly under the fitness center was a minus because we could hear banging from the equipment throughout the night. The fan on the HVAC system also never shuts off regardless of how you adjust the thermostat and the room seemed to always be hotter than the thermostat was set. Overall good place to stay though!
Mauricio Flores
Mauricio Flores: Hotel is located in a very good location, rooms are wide and open, but they have some issues that I will number as follow: 1. They limit you on your Air conditioner thermostat, your AC won’t go down in temperature more than 72-73ish. How I know that?, I travel a lot and have with me 3 different thermometer which I position in different places in the room, and they never came down in temperature of 72 F, When I have set my room’s thermostat at 65. I pay for Ac and they limit your temperature to save $10 2. Curtain’s shower smelled like mold or not clean. That’s a -3 points for me. 3. Room’s Tv won’t work, It was resetting every 30-45 seconds itself. 4. Parking is about $50 per night. Otherwise, breakfast was serve as every other Residence Inn in the country.
nicole ng
nicole ng: Loved the room! Very spacious TV can swivel so you can watch from the bed, kitchen and couch. Bathroom was beautiful with a rain showerhead and large bottles of shampoo/bodywash/conditioner set into the wall. Kitchen came equipped with a microwave, induction stove, oven, dishwasher, food disposal, dishwashing soap, pots and pans, plates/mugs and utensils Our couch was missing a cushion so we notified the front desk but it was not replaced. There was also a mishap with our itinerary but the front desk helped fix it pretty quickly. Would stay again! The hotel is also convenient to go to the national mall, the shopping strip, chinatown, and the amtrak station!

JW Marriott Washington, DC: what do users think?
John Tucker
John Tucker: Great location. Very nice staff. I had a base room with two full-sized beds. Only concern was that my top sheet was not long enough to tuck in...literally got in bed, pulled the covers up to my chest and felt a rush of air come from the bottom of the bed. Why housekeeping made the bed that was is beyond me... and when I tried to tuck it in, it was too short at the top to even come within 2 or 3 feet of the top of the headboard. Nice room otherwise.
Annette Tatum
Annette Tatum: Beautiful hotel, walking distance to all the monuments and the White House. Do not waste your money on a rental car because its easier to walk and not have to worry about parking. Excellent location and staff, will recommend giving this place a try when in Washington, DC.
Brenna Belletti
Brenna Belletti: Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated and clean. We had a lovely view from our room as well. Convenient Starbucks coffee located in the shop in the lobby. I would stay here again!
Asma Alavi
Asma Alavi: The hotel is neat, clean. And the staff is friendly. The room was spacious. There is a corner bakery right outside the hotel. The location is amazing. Just 5-10 mins walk to all the attractions. We loved our stay there

We have a complicated move and he helped me work through several concerning pieces of the move. He was not a pushy salesman but instead provided me the information on what the facility could provide and how they could help. He was engaging and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend working with Yuri at Extra Space Storage for your moving and storage needs.
