Hyatt Place Washington Dc/Us Capitol: what do users think?

Jessica Marie: I stayed here last week. Overall, I had a pleasant time and experience even though I did not get the room I initially paid and requested for. I paid for early check-in and Higher Floor Room. When I arrived I was given a key to a High Floor Room but someone was still in the room. Let the front desk rep know and was given another key to a lower floor room but still had a nice view. Room was clean and roomy enough space for two relax and comfortable. Breakfast was lackluster so don't have high hopes. Hotel is in a perfect location, close to great food spots, grocery store and my favorite Starbucks. 5 minutes from the Metro and Close to Downtown. I will stay here again on my future visits.

Melanie Brown: Hotel is nice, breakfast is good, everything was clean and well stocked. Giving 5 stars because the staff is exceptional! Above and beyond meeting every need and SUPER friendly! Another bonus is the cold water they keep in the lobby. It had ice and was full every time we came down morning or night. What a comfort for busy tourists, especially in the summer. There are drugstores, food and coffee right around the corner. And ubers into all of the tourist attractions were fairly inexpensive. We will be staying here again! dispense in the lobby

Derek Kruger: Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down. Pola P: The sheet of the bed was dirty. The road outside was very loud and I could hear every car going by while being in my room. The walls are very thin and I could hear people from the other room almost all evening. The bathroom door was very loud! It was squeaking. The breakfast wasn’t that good. The room was spacious and nice. The air conditioner was very easy to operate. The elevators were very fast and nice!

Sonny Iqbal: I stayed in this location for wife's birthday! The staff was very nice and courteous. They made our stay very special. The place was clean and the room has great views. Special thanks to the front desk staff and the General Manager who was present. I highly recommend staying here. Great location for activities in DC. Close to H street and the national Mall.

Jen Bradley: Pay for the valet or your car WILL be broken into!!! At least a dozen cars had a window smashed out during our stay & center consoles ripped out. They put two holes in my window trying to break in but couldn’t get it to shatter. Everyone else, not so lucky. When I told the front desk they said they tell everyone not to park on the street (when we arrived they said valet or street were the options, no warning whatsoever about the DAILY break-ins and complete lack of police presence). Breakfast was ok. Semi convenient location but not safe (vacant lots flank half the street). Coffee shop across the street was nice. Room wasn’t that clean. Needed a blanket for the pull out couch and had to wait 30 min, as no one was attending the front desk. Phone did not work. Need a key card to gain access to the lobby and to activate the elevator, even in DC that says a lot,

Erika Williams: Personally, this is not what I'm used to for a Hyatt and the 1st night I was very disappointed with the room to the point that I didn't want to be in it at all. However, the front desk staff was very accommodating and moved us to a different room for the remaining nights. The parking situation should definitely be fixed especially since the only true and safe option is to pay $53/night for valet unless you're ok with the possibility of your car being broken into. There were public parking lots available for a fee, but when we drove around those, there were cars already there with broken windows even being right next to the police department, so that should be changed. I also think that based on the location and the environment around this hotel, the price of the rooms should be decreased slightly especially with the limited parking availability. Another issue I ran into was that the room we booked for had breakfast included for an additional charge, but we found out when we got to the hotel that breakfast was included for everybody. However, I do want to mention that we booked through booking.com so I think that was more of a third party issue than the hotel's doing. I don't think I'll stay at this hotel again just because of where I prefer to stay, but I will also be sure to do a better job at using things like Google Earth to check the surroundings of a hotel before making a reservation there.

Melinda White: Stayed last weekend with friends. We booked two rooms and were given rooms 11 floors away from each other one of which was dirty and had no linens on the bed. We called the front desk to inform them and they stated they would have it cleaned while we were out for the day. Came back hours later to the room in the same unclean condition. We went to the front desk to resolve this as well as being double charged. They moved us to a new room and stated they would be discounting the rooms but instead they charged us an upgrade fee. So don't stay here if unless you are looking to be overcharged and stay in dirty rooms. Only good thing was the valet staff. Immanuel in particular was very friendly and helpful ensuring our cars were safe throughout the stay.

uthra pakkiriswamy: Towels were smelling full of smoke! That means they haven’t changed from previous stay or they haven’t washed properly. Whole room was filled with smoke. For 4 people, 1 shampoo and 1 soap was provided. Exhaust fan wasn’t working in toilet. Worst room service in my entire life! Kitchen, valet service was good.

Grand Hyatt Washington: what do users think?

Joshua Russell: The Grand Hyatt is a very large hotel near Chinatown, just a couple blocks from Capital One Arena. They have a covered car pull through if you are arriving by car which is nice in case of bad weather but can get a bit busy as it doesn’t seem anyone really is directing people. Once inside the check in desk is to the left rear of the very large lobby. The front desk staff is very nice and efficient. We were able to get checked in very quickly and able to get to our room with ease. The elevators are at the back of the lobby. There were about 6 elevators so you don’t have to wait long to catch one. The room is very spacious and very comfortable with a very nice sitting chair as well as a desk. We had a king bed and it was very comfortable, though one extra pillow would have been nice as there were three pillows so if there are two people both could have two. The bathroom is nice as well with good shower with perfect amount of water pressure. One thing you will notice is that in the hallways and lobby areas they are pumping a scent through the ventilation system. While I found it very nice others may be turned off by it. Overall it was a good hotel in a great location.

Melissa Marie: Great hotel location and close to major tourist areas and shopping. Room was a little dirty in places, but nothing major. The bathroom mirror still had water spots. Desk was dusty and chair had crumbs in it. The shower head was not adjustable and shoots straight out instead of downward. You may not get told at check in what the amenity fee includes. If you ask, they will give you a paper, so you will know what you are entitled to. There is a Starbucks and restaurant inside the hotel. Hotel serves breakfast for free if you are a high level Hyatt member or you can pay for it. The gift shop offers a variety of items, not just souvenirs. Self parking garage is also connected to hotel. It costs $45/day with no in and out privileges. Valet is $62/day, but does include unlimited in and out. The garage elevator goes straight up to hotel lobby. The Metro station is in basement area of hotel and easily accessible to get to and from hotel. Staff was super friendly.

R. Michael Burns: I really liked my room here -- modern yet cozy, with comfy beds and a cool view into the lovely atrium. Huge TV, cute little mini-fridge with a window so you're somewhat less likely to forget things in it. The bathroom was very spacious, not the claustrophobic closet you so often get, and the shower was easy to adjust, something else I've found is not always true. There was a little confusion checking in because of how my school was paying for the rooms, but the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful and did a great job of resolving the issue. Every interaction I had with the front desk staff was friendly and efficient -- great hospitality. There are also enough elevators to serve the place effectively even when it's busy, which may seem like a small thing, but if you have ever stayed in a large hotel without enough elevators, you know what a huge inconvenience it can be. The hotel is also a very short walk from Chinatown, the convention center, various Smithsonian buildings, and the National Mall, as well as plenty of good restaurants. My only tiny complaints are that the elevators are all at one end of the atrium, and my room was at the exact opposite end, so it was a bit of a walk to my room or the elevators every time I went out. That, and there's a strangely small number of channels available on the hotel's cable service, but those are pretty minor things compared to all the good stuff. The hotel isn't cheap, but if you can afford it, it's worth it. I'd stay again without hesitation.

Nene W.: I spent Christmas night at Grand Hyatt Washington this year. It was my second time with them and I had a wonderful time! The staffs were really nice and helpful. If you like to drink and chill, don’t forget to check out their bar. The room was clean and comfortable. Plus, they also have the best breakfast which is available from 7-10am. I will definitely go back to this hotel more often. It was a great experience!

RITA LIN: We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so polite, nice, respectful, friendly and accommodating. The only concern we had was, wishing the vent in the bathroom would have been stronger. The mirrors would fog up easily during a hot shower even with the door open. Over all though , a very relaxing stay, we will return once we are back in town. Thank you!

Hampus Engstroem: Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! Great hotel location and close to major tourist areas and shopping. The garage elevator goes straight up to hotel lobby. The Metro station is in basement area of hotel and easily accessible to get to and from hotel. Staff was super friendly.

Kim Nguyen: The Grand Hyatt is located near Chinatown and it’s extremely convenient for us to get around. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay. The online check-in process was easy and quick. I was able to request for early check-in and got our room by 12pm instead of 3pm. That was definitely a plus in my book. The hotel lobby was really massive and beautifully designed. During our stay, there was a medical conference. It was busier than usual and we had to wait some time for the elevator. Our room is across from the Sax restaurant and lounge, so it was really loud at night. There were a lot of honking, screaming, and car noise. Overall, it was a good stay for us. Oh, they also have a Starbucks right inside the hotel.

Casey Meyer: Beautiful modern interior hall with an awesome chandelier. Front desk was extremely nice, and the gentleman who helped us get our luggage in was beyond courteous. Rooms are typical- nothing special, not that that's a bad thing. Little decals on each of the walls in every room is a cool addition.

Doug Gwilliam: First time in DC for a weekend getaway found me booking 4 nights at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel lobby is stunning and mesmerizing to look at. The location is amazing even with a Metro stop right off the lobby! The National Mall is a 12 minute walk. Everything else is pretty average. This hotel has a "destination fee" which is just another way to get money out of customers, taking a page from Marriott Hotels. Among other things, the $20 DAILY fee, includes water and a Metro card. The Metro card is worth $3 and I had to ask for it at check in. The employee didn't know what it was and had to go ask. You pay the $20 fee DAILY, yet you only get one $3 Metro card per stay. We stayed 4 nights and would have expected 4 x $3 on the Metro card. Nope. As a Globalist, most everything else included with the fee is already included, which is probably why Globalists get the fee waived. Still, very silly to even have the fee. Oh, it also includes a Wine Magazine in your room! Who wouldn't want to pay $20 a day for that! If I didn't get the fee waived, I would have asked for it to be waived as it provides very little. We had access to the club lounge, which is where this hotel served the breakfast and evening snacks for Globalists as well. Having been used to having breakfast in the dining room usually, this would be our first club lounge to use for breakfast. The breakfast was a pretty good spread with yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs (although very runny), bacon, toast and a few other items. Although pretty good, there was no variety - every morning was the same. No pancakes, waffles, no difference. Breakfast in the dining room definitely would have been better. The same happened for the evening snacks. Salad, meatballs, pasta, sliders - pretty substantial, but no variety day to day. If you're staying 1 night, the breakfast and evening snacks would be great. The Grand Hyatt offered no globalist recognition. At most of my other hotel stays, I got an email about a week before, asking me if there was anything I needed for my stay and welcoming me. Nothing. When I checked in, I saw in the app there was an upgraded room available, but when I asked at the front desk, I was told it wasn't available. The room was average, nothing special. What made this hotel work so well, is the location. So easy to catch the Metro - with an entrance right in the hotel lobby (only open weekdays though), otherwise, you just walk outside half a block. You can also walk to just about everywhere else, with the National Mall being a 12 minute walk. Overall, the stay was pretty average, but made for a good home base for everything we wanted to do.

Haresh Joshi: I must say that it was a pleasure being taken care of by Alyce. She is the best. Every time I was there, I couldn't help but wonder how she takes care of every single guest with that smile and enthusiasm. She went above and beyond in ensuring everyone got what they wanted. Personally for me, I wanted croissants and they were gone when I went. She made sure they were delivered to my room. I was just amazed :) Thanks once again to all your front desk and Alyce. They are your assets.

Hyatt Regency Washington On Capitol Hill: what do users think?

Maureen Jackson: Staff were beyond friendly and always smiling. Made our stay very enjoyable. Rooms were clean and so quiet. The restaurant was awesome from the breakfast to dinner. We ate a few times in restaurant and the wait staff remembered us and made it very homey. Quality of food was excellent. Never had a bad meal. Best hotel experience for us in a long time. Within easy walking distance of the mall
Response: Hello Maureen, We are glad the staff made your stay enjoyable, that is just wonderful! We are happy your experience staying with us was the best hotel experience you have had in a long time. Thank you for your kind comments they are truly appreciated, we hope to welcome you back soon! Best Regards, Anisa

Lisa Van Aartsen: Service excellent, rooms clean, like the efficiency yet stylish way it is styled. Lights too bright in the bathroom and unable to decrease. Used a bath towel over the light to dim it down. Would be nice to have bottles of water in room to go with coffee maker... right? Grab and go currently for meals at the restaurant. Not much for choices. Very nice store including Starbucks coffee, very appreciative of that. Sheets very smooth, pleasant, bed comfy, could be better, could be worse. Nicely located. Will go again.
Response: Hello Lisa, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay with us. We do apologize for any inconvenience the lights in the bathroom may have caused you. We are glad you thought the bed was comfortable and happy to hear you liked the location. We value our guests' insights and feedback so we can improve our operations. We hope to welcome you back soon! Best, Anisa

Jeff Ery: Room was awful. Beds were super soft and the room temp was set at 65 but I felt as hot as fish grease in lent. Woke up in a sweat every night. Location was awesome though. Breakfast was good too. Bar has stiff drinks. The room though.... Yech.
Response: Evening Jeff Ery, Thank you for the honest feedback of your stay. We appreciate all guest comments and feedback. We are working on making changes and will be updating our hotel in the near future. Glad that overall other than the room, your stay was enjoyable. Tonia

Brendan Williams: Location, location, location. And don't they know it! In all the years I have stayed there for conferences it feels like only the lobby has been updated. Rest of the property is very dated. Careful in adjusting your shower head that you don't pull it out of the wall. But your room will be clean, and, again, location.
Response: Evening Brandan Williams, We appreciate and respect all guest comments and feedback. We also appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Thank you for continuing to patronize our property. We are working on having renovations done in the near future. Tonia

Kim Jensen: We had a wonderful stay and everyone was so friendly. If I ever go back to DC this is where I would stay again. Word of warning, make sure you know what direction you're heading when you leave the hotel. In one direction you get some pretty bad vibes and have some shady characters that'll start following you. And the other direction there's a wonderful shopping and restaurants and all the tourists spots. The hotel was lovely and we appreciated our stay.
Response: Hello Kim Jensen, Thank you for your kind review! I'm so glad that you had such a wonderful experience at our hotel. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your tips for other future guests. We are flattered that you choose to stay at our hotel for future visits to DC. We can't wait to welcome you back! Best Regards, Toya

Brenda Orffer: The Hyatt Regency is a great location for easy access to capital buildings (meetings), great food and restaurants, and to DCA Airport. Right now, April 1, the hotel is not offering room service, and housekeeping is not provided unless requested. Otherwise, things seem to be all systems go. Masks are encouraged but not required. The hotel has hand sanitizer stations throughout as well. The desk and office chair in the rooms are not well matched for height. Very uncomfortable seating for a long period of time. Thankfully there is lots of lobby and social space to find a place to work more comfortably. There is a small fridge in the room, but no water is stocked in the room. You can get bottled water from front desk and valet desk if you request it.
Response: Dear Brenda Orffer, Thank you for the feedback on your visit. We are happy you enjoyed our convenient location to the nearby restaurants and the airport. We appreciate the insight on our desks in the guest rooms and are pleased you were able to use the space in our lobby area to work comfortable. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to welcome you back soon! Warm regards, Tonya

Melissa Lutz: Nice hotel near the Capitol. Room was not huge but was comfortable. A little pricey, but the location was very convenient to the Mall. Don't park at the hotel...you can park for a third the cost at Colonial Parking Garage around the corner. Staff were all very nice and accommodating.Would stay here again.
Response: Hello Melissa Lutz, Thank you for leaving us a review. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. It's always great to hear that our staff were all friendly and helpful. We appreciate the parking tip. I hope that you will stay with us again soon! Best Regards, Toya

Park Hyatt Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Patrick Hill: Excellent all around. First off, the location is perfect, tucked away from K Street and close to Rock Creek making it more of a quiet location relative to other parts of the city. The building, lobby etc all look very new, clean and crisp. The room itself was large, modern and had a very comfortable bed. We had one of the Junior Suite with the half bath. It was a great deal using Hyatt Points and paying $100 for the upgrade over a standard room. Enjoyed arriving to fresh cookies as well from the staff. Very nice touch. My one gripe with many Hyatt properties is the pocket door for main bathrooms however the pocket door at the Park Hyatt was substantial and allowed for more privacy. We had both dinner and breakfast room service and both meals were fantastic, delivered on time and well worth the price. I assume everything was cooked from Blue Duck Tavern which has rave reviews. I did not have the opportunity to check out the pool or fitness center, but can only imagine those facilities are top notch. Finally the staff were all friendly and polite. The service like that matters. I look forward to returning again soon.
Response: Greetings Patrick Hill, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our hotel; we appreciate that! We are very happy to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us and we can't wait to welcome you back again very soon. Best Regards, Donna

Chris Turner: This was our first time staying at the Park Hyatt and it was a wonderful experience. The moment we arrived, the bellhop Jorge, gave us a warm welcome and helped us unload our luggage and four young kids. When we checked in, our room did not have a great view so they upgraded us to the Georgetown Suite and it was phenomenal! The room was gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. The room service was delicious, especially the breakfast. When we were ready to check out, Jorge once again warmly greeted us and helped us bring our luggage down and load it into our car. I know it can be hard to work on Christmas, but the staff were cheerful and warm. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in DC.
Response: Chris Turner, We are delighted to hear that your stay met all of your expectations. We will make sure that we let Jorge know that you gave him a rave review as well. We hope to see you again in the near future! Tonia

Doug Gwilliam: My flights got changed which gave me an extra night in DC and I already had another (Grand) Hyatt booked, so I only needed one additional night. Park Hyatt was available at a good rate, so I decided to book the one night. I got an email from the general manager about a week ahead of time asking for any additional needs or items I might need. Upon checking, which was very late due to delayed flights, the front desk staff was so professional and happy to see me and help me with anything. As a Globalist, I was told my room had been upgraded, which was a very nice gesture. Upon arriving to my room, it was so nice and roomy. I had a personalized note from the manager and some chocolates. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long time and the huge rain shower in the huge bathroom was so relaxing. Overall, the stay was fantastic and I wish I would have booked more nights at the Park, as my experience my other (Grand) for the remaining 4 nights of my trip, was not as nice.
Response: Dear Doug Gwilliam, Thank you for taking time to let us know about your experience. We are delighted to hear our staff were so professional and friendly. We truly appreciate your loyalty as one of our Globalist and we are glad we could show our gratitude by upgrading your room. It is excellent to hear the bed was most comfortable and the rain shower relaxing. We are overjoyed you had a fantastic stay with us and we hope to welcome you back the next time you are in DC! Warmest regards, Tonya

Mariya K: Good hotel but I expected more from a five star hotel. The front desk staff was friendly except one black man he was a bit rude. Also they should clean their carpet in the front as the first impression when you walk in leaves a feeling of a dirty place. I stayed in a suit and it was nice and had everything you need. The only thing they need to change armchairs as those have old school shrunk covers. I decided to make a reservation for a dinner at the Blue Duck tavern which was recommended by the front desk and I was told they had a Michelin star. I’ve been to Michelin stars restaurants before so I had some high expectations. But the restaurant disappointed me a little bit. First there was a little confusion where the host station was. When I walk in there’s a bar in the front and I told I had a reservation and a barman told I could seat anywhere the I walked further and saw a hostess. I was by myself and they had plenty of empty tables. It was an hour and a half before they close. But they decided to seat me in a totally empty area which I didn’t like even though I asked to seat at the different area which had empty tables. The hostess asked a waiter but he refused. I ordered a cocktail and after sipping I noticed the glass was all dirty which is unacceptable in any restaurant but especially at the restaurant with a Michelin star. The food was tasty. When I received a check I expected they would take that cocktail out of the bill or offer me a discount which they didn’t. So I left with a bitter aftertaste. No wonder why they didn’t receive a star from Michelin for the past years. The service leaves much to be desired.
Response: Hello Kalashnik, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay. We appreciate all the feedback we can get about our guests' experiences. Please allow me to apologize for the less than perfect Hyatt experience. Your feedback has been shared with our entire management team, and we will evaluate ways to improve our operation. Again we appreciate your concerns and we will consider your comments while making changes. Thank you for choosing Hyatt. Best, Anisa

Vivian Cheng: Great hotel. Got a junior suite, which was spacious and comfortable. Good lighting in the room too. It was clean and well-maintained. Not a lot of street noise, which is always a bonus. Amenities are nice. Shower pressure is low, but the shower is spacious. Note: Blue Duck Tavern is worth a visit. Also, hotel is about 7 minutes from the Foggy Bottom metro stop.
Response: Greetings Vivian Cheng, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and giving us a 5 star rating. We really appreciate that. Very sorry to hear about the water pressure in the shower. this information has been communicated to our team to be addressed. I would agree that the Blue Duck Tavern is worth a visit. We can't wait to welcome you back to the Park Hyatt Washington D.C very soon. Best Regards, Donna

Frederick E Stidam Jr: Great customer service from the manager Mr.Cho ,the valet team, house keeping, and front desk staff. 👏 . Any and everyone we interacted with with was friendly and professional. The room clean spacious and comfortable. This location perfect for access to great dining and fun dining.
Response: Hello There Frederick, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay. We are overjoyed that our staff at the hotel provided great customer service, we appreciate your kind comments. We are glad to hear we met cleanliness and comfort expectations. We hope to be able to welcome you back soon! Kind Regards, Anisa

Peter Luu: I stayed here March 5th - March 7th, 2022. The front desk was very helpful, with the door attendants proactively asking if I needed help with luggage. Service felt personal - I had emailed with the hotel prior to arriving and asked for recommendations and they provided a list of things to do, plus accommodated my requests for some small toiletries in the room. The room itself and decor of the hotel was luxurious and felt comfortable. The Park Hyatt branding, "Luxury is Personal", felt well-delivered here. I also ate at the attached restaurant, Blue Duck Tavern, and had some of the best duck and desserts of my life. While the location is not situated downtown, it is still relatively easy to get to places and makes a great vacation. Out of the many hotels I've stayed at, the incredible level of care to detail has not been matched by any other hotel. I highly recommend it for a positive experience.
Response: Hello Peter Luu, Thank you so much for sharing your stay experience with us. We really appreciate it. We are glad that your stay met your expectations and that you felt our personal service during your time here. Thank you for your patronage and we hope to see you again soon. Tonia

Sek Eun John Lee: My wife, our 20-month-old son, and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Park Hyatt Washington DC. Staff members were welcoming and professional. Our suite was widely-spaced and gave our family much-needed privacy. Food via room service from Blue Duck Tavern was delicious. Location of the hotel was amazing given its proximity to Georgetown and Dupont Circle. We will definitely stay here again.
Response: Hello Sek Eun John Lee, Thank you for providing your feedback on your recent stay. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us here at the Park Hyatt Washington D.C. We are glad you enjoyed your room and the food we had to offer. We hope to welcome you back soon again! Kind Regards, Anisa

Adam Wilton: This was my first stay at a Park Hyatt property and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had an amazing stay and it is now one of my favorite hotels/brands. The service is excellent with the front desk staff being super friendly and professional - some of the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. The room was very nice and clean with high end amenities and finishes. Since I booked through AMEX’s FHR program, I received a $100 property credit which I was able to use for room service at the Blue Duck Tavern which had excellent food - truly some of the best food I’ve ever had. Unfortunately there is only valet parking available so I just parked at a George Washington University parking ramp which was much cheaper, but the hotel is actually quite reasonably priced and rivaled some much more expensive 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at. Overall, the Park Hyatt brand shocked me on how nice it is, and I intend to visit more properties in the portfolio when I travel.
Response: Dear Adam Wilton, We are thrilled to be the first Park Hyatt you have stayed with! It is fantastic to hear you had an amazing stay and is now one of your favorite hotels/brand. We are pleased our service was excellent and the front desk staff were super friendly and professional. We are overjoyed that it was some of the best service you have ever experienced! It is wonderful your room was very nice and clean and you enjoyed our Blue Duck Tavern. We are ecstatic it is some of the best food you have ever had! Thank you for the insight on parking and on pricing. We are truly honored you will be visiting more Park Hyatts and will look forward to your next visit with us! Warmest regards, Tonya

Harlen Smith: It is late June 2022 and this hotel is pretending it is June 2020. Except that they are charging 2022 prices while providing 2020 deep covid level services. Tgd staff are great, but there’s no real room service, no minibar, no spa, the pool is closed. The only food available on site is from the Michelin starred restaurant downstairs, which is only open for a few brief windows per day. Breakfast is normal, but lunch and dinner are over wrought and over rich. Not something you can eat multiple days in a row. I paid $800/night to stay in a mid sized suite with my 5 year old. We pay that kind of money because we want access to good food in our room while traveling. Park Hyatt DC did not deliver on that. It’s also about a decade past due for a renovation, but I would have been fine with that if they weren’t pulling a covid service con. Do not stay here until they get their ish together. Even then, management of this hotel has proven that their judgement cannot be trusted. So maybe just don’t ever stay here.
Response: Dear Harlen Smith, Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us . We appreciate the insight on our guest rooms and our food options, as we recover from the impacts of Covid -19. We value your feedback to make improvements. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to have the chance to provide a better experience in the future. Aneshia

Hyatt Place Washington Dc/National Mall: what do users think?

Derek Kruger: Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. Convenient location, fairly close to the Smithsonian museums and national mall. The 2 queen bed (and sofa bed) room is perfect for families. Service is fast and friendly. Breakfast is a bit basic but is included in your room fee which is a major plus. Most of the unique amenities are closed in the cooler seasons and parking is a little pricey ($50/day) but otherwise it is a well equipped hotel.

Ryan Yturriaga: Pros: Great clean rooms, access to the national mall, relatively a good part of the neighborhood. Room service everyday. The swimming pool is a little small for the building, and no matter how hot it gets (summer) the water is ice-cold. The room service staff are friendly and very accommodating. Cons: (why the 2 stars) - it a hit or miss with the staffing. Their breakfast times are 6AM-9AM so really short compared to other chain hotels. If you are from the west coast, chances are you will miss the breakfast. Here's the kicker, the waitress literally swipe the food in front of us at 0905AM - instead of closing off the section, we are left just scrambling to get whatever we can get thanks to that very admirable waitress. (05-31-2022 - mornings) It left a really bad taste for the 4 people left on the line without consideration at all. I save about $50.00 a night from Embassy Suites, but this kind of service is not worth it. Consider somewhere else.

Nichole Raybould: The staff is the most UNFRIENDLY I have ever experienced at a hotel. We booked and prepaid for 3 nights through a 3rd party and I called the hotel the day before we were to check in to verify we were confirmed with our room as were to drive 6+ hours the following day. It took 2 people on the phone and 45 minutes to "find" my reservation in their system even though we had prepaid for the room in order to get a cheaper rate. Finally they found it and said I was good to go. Great. We arrive the next day to check in and AGAIN, they cannot find my reservation. It took 2 people and ANOTHER 45 minutes to "find" our reservation in their system. They were incredibly unfriendly about it too. Almost like they were waiting for us to get fed up and leave. Finally, magically, it appeared and we're good to go again. With 1 night left in our stay we get a phone call from the front desk saying that we were supposed to only stay 2 nights. We inform them, no, we paid for 3 nights. It says right here on our confirmation and when we checked in we confirmed it was 3 nights. They threatened to call the police on us because we told them we would not check out early. They put my husband on hold and never came back on. So in the meantime, I called the 3rd party company we booked it through and asked them to contact the hotel and confirm that yes, indeed, we paid for 3 nights. My husband got tired of sitting on hold and went downstairs to the front desk to confront them in person. By the time he got down there it was all "magically" fixed. No apology. No accommodation, nothing. SO RUDE. I'm being gracious in giving them 1 star but only because the room itself was fine and the free breakfast was good. But we will never stay here again. I have never had a worse experience with a hotel.

Kurt Martin: I get that everyone has a hard time hiring good people lately. This place is certainly no exception. That's not to say that some people were great, but we had too many bad experiences. First off, the air conditioner didn't work properly. Of course, they have motion sensors that turn off the system when no one is in the room. But ours didn't work until you turned it off and then back on again. So we would do this when we went to bed, but then around 1AM, we would wake up because it was too hot in the room (usually 78 degrees). So I would get up and turn the system off, then back on again. And eventually the room would cool enough to go back to sleep. Then it happened again at 4 am with 78 degree temps in the room. I reported it to the front desk, and nothing was ever fixed. We went to their breakfast the first morning. That was it. The food wasn't good. More than that were the incredibly rude women working there. We were standing in line, and a door flew open (I assume it led to the kitchen) and hit my wife on the wrist (hard enough to cause a small bruise). Instead of the woman apologizing to my wife for whacking her wrist, she screamed out to everyone, "Don't stand in front of this door. We have to go in and out all morning long, so if you don't want to get hurt, leave a path!" There we other rude encounters, just not as egregious as this one. We will never stay there again.

Gen Bowerbank: The breakfast was great, staff very friendly, and the valet parking was helpful and quick service. The rooms were clean, and we all sleep well in the soft beds. However we had a loud AC in our room. I don't think each room has one, but in the middle of the night when it would kick on, about each hour it would wake up the light sleepers of our room.

Keith Wunsch: Convenient location, fairly close to the Smithsonian museums and national mall.

Jennifer Jordan: The hotel elevator floors were dirty and not well maintained. The elevator buttons were barely attached to call an elevator on the lobby level. There were letters missing on the wall of the lobby level. The room was decent but the walls were marked up and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The towel rack in our bathroom was rusted badly and the tub did not drain well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know. There is a reason why they do not show pictures of the bathroom when booking.

Kevin McKay: I think I may have caught this hotel on a bad night in a bad situation, but I was not happy with my stay. There were plenty of issues I had, which I'll list here as well, but my main issue is I had a hotel maintenance worker LET HIMSELF INTO OUR ROOM WHILE MY GIRLFRIEND AND I WERE IN THERE. He did not knock, he opened the door and said hello, which startled both my girlfriend and I. He had said the there was a water leak on the floor below and he was checking if it was our room. I get that he needs to do his job but he should have knocked, not let himself in and when I responded walk right into my room. When I paid for this room I paid for privacy, and I expect that. I angrily called the front desk, where the manager was very helpful and apologetic, and offered to comp whatever was on the menu......until I found out it was the kitchen that flooded below us, so I couldn't get any food and had to leave the hotel to do so. So all I got for that issue was a couple rounds of free drinks, which in my opinion did not do enough to satisfy my anger at the situation. Among that little fiasco, other issues I experienced were that to get ice, I had ti go up 2 floors (i was on the 3rd), and only found this out after searching for 20 min and asking a hotel worker. Also, I was not told ahead of time that parking was valet only and overnight parking is $50 (should have expected it, being dc, but why not list it here since I'm listing all my issues with this place. Also, whoever had the floor above us was making so much noise banging on the floor (our ceiling) that it woke my girlfriend and I up the following morning. Finally, I was unhappy with the continental breakfest (I know, I'm complaining about something free here, but still) Their kitchen must have still been closed because all there was was bagels, cereal, and coffee. Like I said, maybe I caught this place on a bad night, but I don't think I'll be returning here if I have to stay in D C again.

Jazmín Romero: We stayed for one night and that was enough to know how things work here. The attention from the front desk staff was very good, no complaints about that. But: First of all, the elevators are pretty slow, it takes about 5 minutes to get into one. The air conditioner in our room made a lot of noise and it wasn’t fun to listen to. At around 9 a.m. the cleaning lady knocked at our door because she wanted to clean up already. It was a bit of a bother because we had just woken up, were still in bed and had barely gotten prepared for breakfast. She said that she had on her list that we would be doing the regular 12 noon checkout and not the later 2 pm checkout (we had told the staff at the front desk that we would do the 2 pm checkout since we have Hyatt Discoverist status which allows this). For breakfast there were no trays to put our plates on. They offered different sizes of plates and glasses/ cups, but I guess they think we have 6 hands to hold everything. It’s inefficient to make more than one trip to get the food. We decided to eat something in the afternoon before we left. The waiter took our order. He then said that my chicken sandwich would last longer that normal to come out (about 20 minutes. It ended up being a whole HOUR. He did not say anything about the time and we saw how the table next that arrived after us was finishing their food already. I am pretty disappointed. I hope they can get better.

Mr. Carl Davis: We stayed at this location the entire week and totally enjoyed everything. The room was spacious and we had a decent view from the 6th floor. We were centrally located to the National Mall and walking distance to CVS and the local grocery and other attractions... The staff while being very busy at times was professional and very nice on all levels. The breakfast was great and had a variety and a good selection of food... Not sure why someone said breakfast cost them extra because nothing was added extra for us on our bill. Neither were we disturbed by the fire station located around the corner of the hotel... We had a great stay....Thumbs 👍.

Hyatt Place Washington Dc/White House: what do users think?

Adam Green: Our experience was mostly positive at this hotel. The rooms are nice and stylish, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff was really nice. I decided to leave a review because there were several things that I thought could have made the stay even better: 1) There should probably be more room in the breakfast area as it is pretty cramped. 2) It would be nice if breakfast were served until 9:30 or 10 instead of 9 on weekdays, as it can be difficult to make it down for breakfast by 9 during a vacation. 3) The advertisements for the in-house restaurant seem a little misleading, mentioning that they have a finely curated and locally sourced/inspired menu when in fact the food options are pretty basic. It wasn't bad food, but the difference between the ads and what the restaurant actually is was a little ridiculous. 4) Communication about how to park when the hotel is booked online would be helpful--it can be stressful driving in the city, and clear instructions about where you can park while you check in and await the valet would bring peace of mind. We got lucky and found a spot, but if there hadn't been one, I'm not sure what we would have done with the car while checking in. 5) I think it would be nice to have more signs with general information for guests, e.g. when breakfast is, when checkout is, etc. I ended up just googling these things, but a sign at the front desk would be better. 6) The valet parking is really expensive! It would be nice if the price for parking was a bit lower as that would make guests feel more inclined/willing to tip the drivers themselves. 7) The hotel restaurant/front desk should get a card reader so there is another option for payment besides cash or charging to the room.
Response: Thank you for reaching out to us, Adam Green! We're so glad you had a mostly positive experience with us and we appreciate your detailed review! We will take your considerations into account and it helps to know that we're doing a good job! We would love to host you again sometime soon.

Erin Miller: beautiful hotel room. very clean, and amazing breakfast with all vegetarian options. the ladies at the front desk were super nice and informative. the valet was great too, I left my phone in the car by accident and he gladly retrieved our car for us so I could get it. thanks so much!
Response: Thanks for the great review, Erin! It's wonderful you enjoyed your stay at Hyatt Place Washington DC/White House so much! We strive for excellence so we're thrilled you appreciated not only our remarkable team and cleanliness, but also our gorgeous rooms and delicious breakfast offerings! Your praise lets us know we're doing our job! We can't wait to host you again soon for another amazing experience!

Felipe Sales: My stay here was very disappointing. I only chose this hotel due to the Hyatt brand, but after speaking to some locals apparently this one has a reputation for not being as nice as the others. On arrival they said I couldn't check in because my name wasn't on the reservation (it was made under my friend's name), and told me to call them and have them call the hotel to include it, otherwise I wouldn't be allowed. After calling him, he said it was already included ages ago and told them to check again. Told the staff member that and she said: oh yeah, it's right here in the comments. Same thing happened again when I forgot my key in the room. The guy said I was not the person on the reservation, and I had to keep telling him to check the comments section so he would let me in. Service in the hotel was terrible all around. Other than the person at the bar and by the door (who were very friendly), every person I came across on the help desk seems to dread talking to customers and every time you say good morning or hello they just turn away. My room was ridiculously noisy, I could hear the people on the next room coughing and sneezing during the night and when it was raining, the walls kept making a cracking sound every 1 second that sounded like a torture movie, so I had to sleep with noise cancellation headphones. Opening and closing the blinds is a challenge. I am skinny, but somehow they expect someone to squeeze into a tiny gap next to the wardrobe and keep pulling that cord. Breakfast is served until 9am which seems a bit silly if people are on holiday and most other hotels are until at least 9.30am. and it is honestly a bit sad looking: all they had were eggs and a few sausages in a sad looking paper plate that makes you feel like you're eating in basic economy.

Anna G: The hotel is located 10 minutes away (walking) from the White House and all main attractions such as Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. There is a good transportation system around it if you don't want to use taxi services. The hotel also has a rooftop bar which has finger food and variety of drinks (however it was advertised as a restaurant with a full size menu) We had one double room and one room with king size bed. It shall be noted that both rooms had coaches that could be extended to another sleeping spot. The rooms were clean however we were missing toilet brush and one blanket had a hole in it. The breakfast was included into the price and consisted of a buffet, coffee and juice bars. It was a little bit challenging to find a table, so many customers took the food to their rooms. The staff was friendly, professional and attentive.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave this wonderful review, Anna! We're so glad to hear that you had a positive stay with us at Hyatt Place Washington DC/White House! We're also thrilled that you loved our central location so much! We'd love to see you again soon so we can share an even more enjoyable experience with you.

Erin Robertson: Pros: Superb location close to everything you can walk everywhere! 2 blocks from white house and great selection of restaurants nearby. Phenomenal staff so friendly and accommodating! Clean grounds inside and out. Rooftop bar, however if u don't look high class some of the patrons can be rude. Cons: Beds and pillows lumpy and hard, woke up hurting every day. No pool. Breakfast done at 9a so we missed it a couple times. Next to a Gentleman's club, the patrons won't bother you but if you have a room on the adjoining wall you will hear the music until 2a but they provide earplugs.
Response: We appreciate the time you’ve taken to share your feedback, Erin. Although we’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed our location, clean facilities, and interacting with our team, it’s disappointing to hear that you weren't completely satisfied with our beds, breakfast hours, and sound insulation. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service and a comfortable environment to our guests at all times so please know that your concerns will be addressed to the appropriate members of our team moving forward. We do hope you allow us another opportunity to share a more positive experience with you soon.

Celine Aka-Koffi: This hotel is certainly not up to my standards (I didn't make the reservation. If I had, it would not have been here). The staff at the front desk would benefit from some training on how to welcome guests. Our room was relatively spacious and cozy. The back of the toilet seat was disgusting. Housekeeping needs to do better. I won't return to this hotel.

Catherine McGuckin: Wonderful Staff And Convenient Location!! This is a well-managed property and highly recommend! Your staff should be commended. Your valet men are hard working and made sure my son’s truck was out the night before he was to report to USMC Quantico. Thank you gentlemen!! Miss T! Thank you!!! Miss T saved the day ensure my son’s shirt was dry before his departure! You were so pleasant and we’re so grateful! Great property, nice variety at breakfast, rooftop bar was great! Easy walking distance to Metro!
Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave this wonderful review, Catherine McGuckin! We're thrilled to know you enjoyed your stay at Hyatt Place Washington DC/White House so much! We strive for excellence so we're pleased to hear you appreciated not only our courteous staff and prime location, but also our amenities! Your praise lets us know we're succeeding! We can't wait to host you again for yet another unforgettable visit! Have a lovely day!

Elizabeth Towe: Just completed a 5 night stay for our vacation to Washington DC and while I struggled to pick a hotel for us to stay at, I’m SO glad I chose this one. From the moment we checked in the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is so clean, the bed was SO COMFORTABLE - like sleeping on a cloud. Huge bonus for us was that they have Chromecast on the TV so you can watch your Netflix and other streaming services. The free breakfast was outstanding. It was different every day and they had such a nice variety of options. Location was convenient and within 30 min walk to National Mall and other attractions. Only a 5-10 min walk to the Metro if you choose to go that route like we did several times as well. I do want to note that the only disappointing thing we encountered was one night we heard what sounded like a band very close to the hotel playing drums and music til close to midnight. We used a sound machine app on our phones to drown out the noise so we could go to sleep. I HIGHLY recommend you end your hotel search now and book this hotel for Washington DC!
Response: Thanks for the great review, Elizabeth! It's wonderful you enjoyed your stay at Hyatt Place Washington DC/White House so much! We strive for excellence so we're thrilled you appreciated not only our courteous staff and comfortable accommodations, but also our amenities and prime location! Your praise lets us know we're doing our job! We can't wait to host you again soon for another amazing experience! Have a fantastic day!

Hyatt Place Washington Dc/Georgetown/West End: what do users think?

K G: Very happy. Very clean hotel. The area is pricey as is with any major city. The indoor pool was great but some customers were screaming too loud and for it being inside there was no one there to kindly remind them of the details. The room was clean! We didn’t get out beds made but we did get fresh towels which was nice. The breakfast was a great addition and we appreciated it. Parking for the hotel is $50 but Colonial Parking is $30. The staff were kind and pleasant. Overall, I would return!

Cruise Girl: It is located in a good area of the city but not of the monuments, there is public transport nearby and restaurants, the room is huge but I did not like the view and that the doors sound too hard you are calm in your room and your neighbor's door rings and it takes away your peace. They leave a single soap for 2 people a little stingy. It is a basic hotel with a gym and a small pool, normal breakfast some fruits, oatmeal, coffee, cereal, bread, eggs the lady of the cafeteria very friendly .I recommend it.

Oscar Alvarez: From the moment I arrived, the valet guy was hands on, we didn't have to lift a finger to get our luggage inside and the car parked. Front desk service very welcoming and friendly, check out was just as pleasant. Overall the stay was magnificent and will recommend my coworkers to book here as we are growing our market in the area and will be staying often.

abe marquez: Rooms are nice, kids enjoyed the pool, at breakfast they had a little for everyone and if you ask for pancakes they make to order. Only issue I had was $50 parking from 3pm- 12pm. We got to hotel at 6:30pm I paid $6.50 at meter until 10pm after 10 was free until 7am when I paid another $4.20 for 2 hrs. So I paid $11 to park overnight then we drove off to see the sights.

Jose Quintero: The room service and the managerial skills of the people working there are really poor. They didn’t manage to make the bed daily unless you asked for it and we stayed in several hyatt’s hotels on this trip, so the pandemic situation wasn’t an excuse. The manager was kind of rude to my mom when she was complaining about an extra fee charged to her credit card, answering with ironies. The infrastructure and the breakfast were fine, the problem: the guest service. I would not stay there again and I would not recommended.

Ms. Naik: Advertised amenities not available, bare minimum toiletries with no body moisturizer, had to have hair drier delivered, no extra blankets in cupboard, maid just keyed into room without knocking or asking, surprising us at 6 pm. No water bottles or water cooler downstairs. Hilton down the road had both the last time we visited. Basic things that many hotels have was missing. Very ordinary, stay elsewhere. Location is the only thing good about this place. And they don’t give you points if you book through hotels.com. I have got point at Hilton in the exact same circumstances. Weird! I think I’ll prefer to stay with Hilton rather than Hyatt.

maionqueen: Room was clean, but big caveat. Do your research, ask questions before booking. All false advertising. They pull money off of your card before you even check in though they say differently. Wifi is not really free unless you agree to register your device with them. wall paper in the bathroom were pealing off, showing a whole at the bottom. Was put in a room overlooking a dumpster full of garbage. No toiletries in the bathroom. It was cold, I didn’t even have a duvet cover, just a coverlet. No notepad (which matters if you’re on a business trip) I was so upset that I couldn’t even sleep. I never recommend this hotel nor would I ever return to it.

LaQuita Rene: This hotel is 5 star! Sadik was our check in agent. Sadik displayed immaculate Customer Service from start to finish. We got a two Queen suite, the suite was very spacious and clean. The views we had were amazing. During this stay my family and I experienced the pool, breakfast, and the bar. All of these amenities were five-star. This is my new go to hotel when I’m visiting DC.

Rubbel Kumar: I booked a room at the Hyatt Place for a special event and surprise for my fiancee. I called the hotel and was given confirmation that the room would be ready on time (3pm) so I could go in and decorate it before my fiancee arrived. Despite this, I was unable to check in at 4:45pm, nearly 2 hours after my scheduled check-in. When I arrived, I was asked to wait while they checked on the room. After waiting for 45 minutes (they obviously forgot about me), I followed up and was simply told my room was not ready yet. This ruined my plans to surprise my fiancee and is unacceptable for a room that cost over $500. On top of all of this, our room had a leak in it. I cannot recommend anyone stay here.

Leanne Downey: The refrigerator in the room was completely full of ice buildup and barely cooled anything we put in there. There was a pull out couch in the room, but there was no extra bedding in the room. Found hair folded into the bathroom washcloth

Hyatt House Washington Dc / The Wharf: what do users think?

Keejoo Park: This place was the excellent choice for us from the beginning to the end. I called to ask some questions prior to book the room and the response was concise with all the answers. We were impressed and booked the hotel. Upon arrival, it was smooth to check in and it was quick to check in. Very convenient from parking to lobby to room as well. I drove pickup truck and the parking was easy for me. I was again lucky to find a spot close the elevator. Staffs checked to see if there was anything hotel can help and provide. The frequency was after arrival and a day later. I requested couple of times and the response was quick and accurate. We rushed to find dinner place on the first night and there were so many restaurants with excellent foods. We tried four places during our stay and all of them were fantastic. No doubt I will visit the wharf area and stay here again.
Response: Dear Keejoo Park, It sounds like every aspect of your stay was great from start to finish; we are glad to hear it! Thank you for choosing our Hyatt House for your travel needs and for taking the time to sing our praises on Google Reviews. Hosting you was our pleasure and we hope to do so again anytime you need to return to Washington. Best, Michael Anderson General Manager

Bryan: This is typically my go-to hotel when I stay in Washington DC on business. All in all it was a good stay. The front desk staff is attentive and friendly. The property is kept immaculately clean. Great location. I usually book a suite. However, upon arrival my suite wasn’t ready until two hours after checkin time which was 3:00pm. I had to follow up a couple of times and no one seemed to be able to tell me when the suite would be ready. It put me two hours behind schedule for a business meeting. Due to that, I had to postpone my meeting to the next day. In addition, the suite was located directly above a pub that plays really loud music from about 7pm to 12pm. I realize this is beyond their control, but I did not get a good night's sleep. The TV in the living room also didn't seem to work using the remote. Eventually, I had to downgrade to a much smaller room but still paid the price of a suite which is disconcerting. For those businesses travelers looking for a good night sleep I would not recommend staying on the side of the hotel located above the pub unless you can sleep through a five hour drum set.
Response: Dear Bryan, We sincerely regret your experience and appreciate your loyalty to Hyatt in general as well as our Hyatt House specifically. I apologize that we did not have a room ready for your arrival. This is not up to our standards and we are constantly working on improving the quality of service provided; I hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with the exceptional stay you have come to expect. Again, my sincere apologies for any stress we caused, and thank you for taking the time to write. Sincerely, Michael Anderson General Manager

Wendy Caputo: Excellent location, great staff- super friendly, great view, spacious rooms. The morning breakfast was also a nice feature. Food was fresh & well stocked, and the staff assisting were really nice. I was super disappointed with the small, worn, starched towels. It was like drying off with sandpiper.
Response: Dear Wendy Caputo, We are so appreciative of your kind review. It is rewarding to know that you enjoyed our great location, breakfast, and friendly service. Your remarks serve as an encouragement to our team who strive to provide a pleasant stay. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and please visit us upon your return to the area. Best, Michael Anderson General Manager

Kelli Grant: LOCATION! I will preface this by saying I'm more of a Mandarin Oriental girl, however -this hotel was clean and the staff was very kind, professional and helpful. You can't beat the location! Stayed 1 night here on business. Note that when arriving, you'll go down an alley and then up and elevator to the hotel. I had a waterfront room which may have been classified as a "suite". Not really a suite but it was a good room. The rooftop bar area was awesome. Breakfast was really good, the staff was very nice! Two of the ladies gave me great insight and information about the area and what I should see. I love talking with them. The night I arrived, the bar didn't have many items on the menu -both food or drink, the draft beer thing was broken but that bartender sure was nice. Older gentleman and was fun to talk to. Beautiful views and great for walking around the wharf! The room rate seemed high for what it is but it might be because it's on the water. Just do not expect a luxury hotel. It's clean, basic and good for a place to sleep. I was most impressed by the service!! Everyone was so kind and professional.
Response: Dear Kelli Grant, Thank you for the great review! I'm glad that our friendly staff, fun rooftop bar, and spacious guest rooms helped make for a nice trip. We love hearing that our guests enjoyed their stay. Should your travels bring you back to the area I hope we are your first choice for lodging. Best, Michael Anderson General Manager

Lori Anderson: Location couldn't be better! The Hotel & all employees were so welcoming. The patio was so pretty, with great views & plenty of seating. Good selections from the H bar. Everything was super comfortable in our room & we had a nice view of the water... the only complaint was the neighboring bar on the street below our room was loud at night-oh well.
Response: Dear Lori Anderson, Thank you for sharing this overwhelmingly positive review. I feel our hotel team is one of the finest and your feedback helps validate that opinion. Your review and recommendation are very much appreciated as is your intention to stay with us again. We will be looking forward to serving you in the future. Best, Michael Anderson General Manager

Kathy G.: We really enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, even giving us another room with the same quality after our first room didn’t work because the people next door (a conjoining room) were being way too loud with their music and partying. The views are spectacular and the beds extremely comfy! I’d give it a 4.5 for sure.
Response: Dear Kathy Grannis, While it wasn't without some flaws, I am glad to hear that your stay was a pleasant one. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this kind and informative feedback with us and other potential travelers. We hope that you will consider a return trip for a flawless experience next time. Best, Michael Anderson General Manager

Jen Hammond: I’m leaving two stars for the amazing view of the Wharf from our room, otherwise this would have probably been closer to a 1 star experience. I expected a lot more from Hyatt to be honest. Upon arrival our room was HOT, 80 degrees to be exact. The AC doesn’t seem to really work, if you put it on auto to the lowest setting it will continuously cut itself off at around 75 degrees, so we had to let it continually run on the fan setting at 65 to get any kind of relief. Looking at the reviews it seems to be the norm that the ac doesn’t work, but keep in mind that it’s about 35 degrees outside, I cannot imagine what it would be like in spring/summer. The shower is a tragedy. It’s the tiniest stream of cold water, if you’re a woman with long hair like myself, it isn’t possible to wash your hair in this shower, and it’s freezing. Luckily we had a bath tub in our room, otherwise this would have been a major problem. They only gave us 2 towels for the entirety of our stay, and even though they give a disclaimer that housekeeping is required to enter your room everyday, we never saw housekeeping. Our room was missing the tv remote and it took them nearly an hour to bring us one, when we called for more towels it was another wait as well. With the staff you either got the most friendly person you have ever encountered, or the most miserable person you’ve ever experienced. We requested a late checkout because our train wasn’t leaving until 5, and even though we never saw or heard another person on our floor during our 3 day stay, they told us they could not accommodate us, which was honestly no surprise considering how lackluster our stay had gone, but they at least were able to hold our luggage for us. They also charge an insane fee of $250 dollars for damages and incidentals upon checking in, so be warned of that. We are still waiting for that to go back onto the credit card, but we aren’t holding our breath based on the other reviews. We would never stay here again, there’s so many other options, and we decided to stay here based on the proximity to the Anthem, but we wouldn’t make that mistake again.
Response: Dear Jen Hammond, Thank you for sharing a review of your recent stay. We sincerely apologize that we were unable to provide you with the exceptional stay you've come to expect from Hyatt House. The details definitely do make a trip and we regret we missed the mark. Your feedback provides us with the valuable information we need to improve our service and offerings. We appreciate your patronage and hope to see you again soon. Sincerely, Michael Anderson General Manager

Shannon A. McGhee: Absolutely perfect!!!! I live for this particular location. Rooms were affordable, clean and smelling good. Beds were fluffed just right. Everything was perfect. The staff!!!!Every single one of them went our their way to make our stay great. I love it.
Response: Dear Shannon A McGhee, Thank you for taking the time to share this glowing review of your experience at our hotel! It is wonderful to hear that you hold our staff in high regard as well as our fresh accommodations. I will be certain to share your comments with our staff who truly love making our guests feel welcome when they come to town. Please find a reason to visit us again soon! Best, Michael Anderson General Manager

Joseph Henzi: This place is great! And a cool location I’ve not yet explored in DC. I got into town early in the morning and was supposed to stay elsewhere. That national casino chain gave away my room, the whole reservation. I called this Hyatt (that I was eyeing before my trip) and they got me a room quickly so I could rest, hours before check in. Everyone I’ve met here has been just as hospitable and overall just super friendly and accommodating in every way. Even better the rooms are clean and nice with a very very aggressive price. It’s hard to pass up and I wish I would have stuck with my instincts and booked this place when I was still shopping ideas for a last minute trip.
Response: Dear Joseph Henzi, Offering clean accommodations and cheerful service are core goals of the staff so it is great to hear that we delivered. Your feedback is very much appreciated. Thank you for staying at our hotel and please come see us again. Best, Michael Anderson General Manager

Hyatt Place National Harbor: what do users think?

Shirlonda Scott: I enjoyed the location however, parking is 20.00 a day. The hotel was clean, very comfortable and spacious, even the pull out bed had a comfy mattress. The breakfast was good also. The staff was attentive also. We had a river view, which added to our stay especially during the fireworks display. I would definitely stay here again.
Response: Hello Shirlonda, Thank you so much for your great review about our hotel. Please come back and visit us again in the near future - Best, Ted Fleurimond GM

Chelsea Williams: This hotel met all our expectations and more. The ease of check in, they wished my husband a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, the room was beyond clean, I mean the bedding was crisp and fresh, it smell like it JUST came out of the dryer. Room service food was delish, the view of the Potomac River was everything, walking distance to all the restaurants, around the corner from the MGM was a plus for us....I could go on and on. Just book a room there, you won't be disappointed.
Response: Hello Chelsea, Thank you so much for your great review about our Hyatt Place National Harbor. We loved that you had such a great time at National Harbor. Please come back and visit us again soon. Best Regards, Ted Fleurimond GM

JK 잘노는 건축가: Pros. I stayed here two nights with my family and a dog. Location was good. 20 minutes to the DC. We can enjoy river view from our room. Room was clean, staff was kind. Included breakfast was okay. I liked the area. Clean and enjoyable. Lots of restaurants. Cons. - Parking. We have to park our car on the other building. It's not a problem. It's close. fee was $20 per day. Price is okay but if you once drive out, the ticket you paid will expire. The parking fee is $20 per 3 hours ~ 24 hours. I parked once more than 3 hours and paid $20 and have to pay another $20 when I coming back at the same day. Eventually, I paid $80 for 2 days. - Shower. There was no bath tub but a shower booth. I liked it better. however water pressure was too low.
Response: Hello JK Thank you for your great review of our Hyatt Place National Harbor. Please come back and visit us again soon . Best regards, Ted Fleurimond, GM

Stacey Knight: Beautiful view. Clean room. Great location. Breakfast could’ve been replenished better with more options for price. Barking dog for most the day. And trying to order from the room from downstairs restaurant was impossible. Staff could’ve been friendlier.
Response: Hello Stacey, Thank you for your review and please come back and visit us again at Hyatt Place National Harbor - Best, Ted Fleurimond GM

Evan Groce: Was visiting for a convention with several friends over the weekend. Overall it was a nice hotel for its distance to the event. The hotel was also quite clean overall. The only big negative was the no free parking. Granted the area the hotel is in parking is quite hard to come by but there should be a way or a deal they could work out for hotel guest, or at least a discount. Noise was not to bad and breakfast was ok for something quick to grab though it did become quite busy at times. Pros: Clean hotel Very kind Front Desk staff. Felt secure In a somewhat nice location Cons: No free parking Breakfast area can become quite crowed towards the later part of the morning breakfast rush
Response: Hello Evan, Thank you for your review of our Hyatt Place National Harbor. Please come back and visit us again soon. All my best. Ted Fleurimond GM

Bill Altmayer: Such a very comfortable stay. Close to the capital and of course walking distance from the convention center. Top-notch service, first class all the way. I highly recommend this location for a nice rest and place to stay in this area. Nearby restaurants and attractions near the Potomac are awesome!
Response: Hello Bill Thank you for your great review of our Hyatt Place National Harbor. Please come back and visit us again soon. All my best, Ted Fleurimond GM

Shantel H: Hyatt Place, National Harbor is wonderful!! Our King Bed with Sofa Bed, Corner (Specialty) Room on the 6th Floor was absolutely, amazing. The views were truly breathtaking, directly on the Potomac River looking out from two walls of windows at the Potomac River and Capital Wheel. I talked to Kimberly of the Hyatt Place National Harbor initially on several occasions over the phone after booking on Expedia and she made me feel so welcomed. Kimberly was so thorough, patient, kind and professional in counseling me for our stay, confirming our reservation and she answered and addressed my concerns without hesitation. My Husband and I were so pleased to meet Kimberly in person upon our arrival at the check-in station. Kimberly was just as friendly, professional, and welcoming in person as she was over the telephone. The cleaning staff was kind, polite and they keep the establishment spotless! Thanks Kimberly, talking with you beforehand was key in selecting Hyatt Place for our Anniversary!
Response: Hello Shantel Thank you so much for your great review of our Hyatt Place National Harbor. Please come back and visit us again soon . Ted Fleurimond, GM

A G: I rented the corner room with a water view $450. The room was underwhelming. The bed was very uncomfortable. The temperature in the room was all over the place, first to cold then way to hot, then cold again. There is no room service, but you can go down to the bar and get food... Additionally, when I arrived I asked where I should park they told me parking was in the garage across the street (which is inconvenient, but ok). When I was checking out I asked if they validate and they said no, that it was owned by a different company. All things considered, this was an absolute waste of time and money. I will never return because it is not what you expect when you are paying $450 per night.
Response: Hello AG, Thank you so much for for letting us know. Sorry to hear about your bad experience, if you wish to return to our hotel please contact me directly. Thank you - Ted Fleurimond, GM

brandiwine hall: Service was great. Rooms clean. Food good. Decent breakfast. I would love to know where I can purchase one of those comforter they use. It said Killington on the tag. Pillow comfy too.
Response: Hello Brandiwine Thank you for your great review of our Hyatt Place National Harbor. Please come back and visit us again soon . Best regards, Ted Fleurimond, GM

Zee Thomas: Stayed at this hotel during the month of March. While parking kinda sucks the area and the hotel was lovely. We had a corner room with a great view of the water. Food and drinks from the restaurant were pretty great. Will definitely return back to this location and hotel
Response: Hello Thomas Thank you so much for your great review of our Hyatt Place National Harbor. Please come back and visit us again soon . Ted Fleurimond, GM

Hyatt Regency Bethesda: what do users think?

The Maldonado’s: Great location and amenities. Morton's is one of my favorites, and they are located in many nice hotels like this one. Make sure you visit on the evening. Our tour had breakfast arrangements, missed the eggs on the last two mornings of the trip. To their credit, staff was kind, attentive and accommodating. Starbucks in the house too... (for those Cafe lovers like us) Safe "business" area, and parking is just around the corner. Modern feel with plenty to do around the hotel.
Response: Thanks for the 4/5 review, The Maldonado’s! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with us! It's wonderful that you loved our location, many amenities, and on-site restaurant, along with our friendly staff! We'd love to have you back again soon to share an even more positive experience with you. Have a great day! If your next visit to our hotel is for any meetings, stop by and see Dorian for the ultimate old-fashioned shoe shine experience! Amit Verma Hotel Manager

Eva S: It’s a good business hotel, quiet standard, could be any brand really. Pros and cons below: PROS: Large spacious room with nice expansive views onto the main street, gets good light during the day. Comfy bed. There’s a desk to work at if need be. Nice staff at the hotel, very accommodating and caring. Very clean, good observation of covid rules etc Food served during the event was good too, tasty, good temperature- I recommend the current kitchen staff can certainly cater for breakfast too. Areas to IMPROVE: No breakfast, no pool/spa; the air in the hotel was so dry most event delegates were complaining about difficulty to sleep at night, myself included - I strongly recommend to get lots and lots of green plants, maybe install some air humidifiers for the winter months. The shower head was full of limescale - need to check those details and replace. Maybe add a picture(s) in the room, some softer interior details - interior now looks so sterile, plain
Response: Thank you for the 4/5 rating, Eva! We're happy you had a pleasant stay with us and appreciated our spacious rooms, lighting, cozy beds, accommodations, amazing team, cleanliness, delicious food, and protocols. It's unfortunate you had such challenges with our amenities, air, showers, and decorations. We're disappointed we couldn't accommodate your needs and fix the problem. We hold ourselves to a higher standard. We'll address your concern with our team moving forward. We strive for excellence so we look forward to sharing an even better experience with you soon! Amit Verma Hotel Manager

Walt S: A little disappointed that they didn't have a pool, but the bedding and pillows were actually the most frustrating. The sheets were so stiff and noisy that my wife and I woke each other up every time we moved. The pillows were so soft that they almost instantly went flat when you laid on them. I requested extra pillows for the second night and stacked them, which helped somewhat. It's an attractive hotel with a very friendly and seemingly competent staff, but missing some common amenities you'd expect even from a much cheaper hotel.
Response: Thank you for the great review, Walt! We're happy you had a pleasant experience with us! It's lovely you enjoyed our property and interacting with our team so much. That's what we like to see! However, we regret that our bedding and amenities didn't meet your expectations. We endeavor to offer a top-notch experience for our guests so we'll be sure to discuss your concerns moving forward. We look forward to hosting you again soon for an even better experience! Amit Verma Hotel Manager

Devin Campbell: I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda. We stayed for three days. The rooms, service, and location were perfect. The hotel is situated directly on top of the Bethesda Red Metro station, so traveling into DC was quick and easy. Just a few blocks away is a great area of Bethesda with shops and restaurants. The Morton's Steakhouse onsite was terrific. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the DC area.
Response: Devin, This positive review brought a smile to our faces! It's great to know you loved our quality accommodations and service, and location, and had a great time at Hyatt Regency. Thanks so much for sharing your feedback. We'd be happy to welcome you in again when you're in the area! Amit Verma General Manager

Richmond: The staff, especially Alex, was more than accommodating to our entire family. The hotel has a spirit of excellence and was polished clean! I would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay here...definitely 5 stars. Other hotels should look at this facility and mimic absolute professionalism and perfection in hospitality like The Hyatt Regency Bethesda!!
Response: Thank you for the lovely review, Richmond! It's excellent your time with us was so fantastic! We're thrilled our team took such wonderful care of you. Alex is a treasured member of our team so it's not surprising you felt so welcome and comfortable. That's what we like to see! We can't wait until your next visit so we can share another amazing experience with you, Richmond! For your next visit, don't forget that we're located right above the metro station! Amit Verma General Manager

Gloria Gilmore: Nice hotel very close to venue I was attending. Actually walked from hotel. Hotel was a little hard to find but we did. They had the best concierge and the front desk was very helpful.. The best part was when we got into the elevator and did not know we had to scan our key card to get it to work, so we got off and were talking about it, an associate overhead us stopped what he was doing and took time to show us what to do.
Response: Thanks for the splendid review, Gloria! It's fantastic you had such an excellent experience with us and that our team took such great care of you. We want you to feel right at home as soon as you walk through our doors! Our team will love to hear they made such a wonderful impression on you. We look forward to hosting you again soon so we can share another amazing experience with you. For your next visit, don't forget that there is nothing like a deep tissue massage after a long day of travel or after that great workout! Spa Ala Carte offers many services in the privacy of your guestroom, and is just a phone call away! Amit Verma General Manager

Omar Qureshi: Recently stayed here for a school reunion. Excellent service from Alex Molina at the front desk. A very modern and clean hotel, located right next to the Bethesda Metro station and restaurants and shops on Bethesda Row. Great place to stay when visiting Washington, DC and the surrounding areas. It is definitely on my list of places to stay when I travel to the area again.
Response: Thank you for the excellent review, Omar! We're thrilled your time with us was so amazing! We endeavor to go above and beyond to ensure our guests have a memorable experience. It's not surprising that Alex took such wonderful care of you and made you feel so valued. He is an important member of our team! We look forward to hosting you again soon for another fantastic experience! For your next visit, don't forget to get that jog or bike ride in on The Capital Crescent Trail. It's over 11 miles of scenic and historic sites, connecting Bethesda to Georgetown, Silver Spring and DC. More than one million walkers, joggers, bikers, skate boarders and rollerbladers' use that trail ever year! Amit Verma Hotel Manager

Dennis Drew: This place is just ok. The rooms are clean and the metro is convenient. The town is dead on the weekend, so you'll have to metro to anything interesting. The hotel doesn't own the parking garage that it literally sits on top of, so they have very limited leeway in the parking prices and whatnot. They billed me random amounts in addition to my folio which is annoying to resolve.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your 4/5 review with us, Dennis. We're thrilled to hear you had such an enjoyable experience with us. We care about the comfort and satisfaction of our guests so we appreciate you letting us know what we can do to make your stay perfect. We'll make sure to communicate your feedback to the appropriate members of our team so that we may improve moving forward. We're looking forward to sharing a more enjoyable experience with you soon. Thank you again! Amit Verma Hotel Manager

Hyatt Centric Arlington: what do users think?

Corrie Christiaansen: The staff was super friendly, especially Robert and Kristine at the front desk and the bartender. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and modern sleek style of the hotel. The food and drinks at the bar were amazing, I recommend the shrimp linguine and the cheese spinach dip! In general my stay was quiet and peaceful in exception for some of the noise from the Metro station across the street. On the other hand, the Metro station being right there was very convenient for my trip. With all the mandates and safety concerns in DC, this hotel was the perfect alternative to still be close to DC without actually staying in DC.
Response: Thank you for the outstanding review, Corrie! We're delighted your experience at Hyatt Centric Arlington was so wonderful! We strive to make all of our guests feel welcome and relaxed during their time with us. It's fantastic our team could accommodate your needs and assist you in any way possible. We aim to please and your praise lets us know we're doing our job! We look forward to sharing another amazing experience with you soon!

Pamela Wright: I’m very impressed here. Me & my husband stayed here, Our room was beautiful exactly like the picture we choose. This is a very lovely, classy hotel. Everything was perfect the staff was friendly, the breakfast server was extremely nice. We chose the room with breakfast included, other wise there is a fee. Would give 5 star but there is not pool here, & you have to pay 32$ for parking; But you can bring your car in & out anytime for that night. Would definitely recommend this place & will return 😊 THANKS!!
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us, Pamela. We're glad to hear you had such a great experience with us. We care about the satisfaction of our guests so we appreciate you letting us know what we can do to make your stay perfect. We'll make sure to communicate your feedback to our team. We're looking forward to sharing an even more pleasant experience with you soon. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!

Alison Molnar: Really excellent customer service; helped me navigate a lost credit card situation with ease! My trip very easily could've been difficult, but they made the check-in process painless. The rooms are nice and clean - I especially appreciate the drybar hair dryers and 24 hour gym. My room did have a lot of noise from the metro, but that can't be helped.
Response: Thanks for the excellent review, Alison! We're delighted your time at Hyatt Centric Arlington was so outstanding as providing our guests with an excellent experience is very important to us. It's fantastic you appreciated our attentive service and cleanliness as well as our amenities. We are delighted to hear that our team was able to promptly relieve your credit card situation, as we want our guests to have stress-free visits with us! We look forward to hosting you again soon for another fantastic experience.

Peggy Allen: Great location close to subway. We did not need to rent a car during our visit. Nice savings. Very quiet throughout hotel. Nice bar and restaurant in the evenings . If you are too tired to leave for supper- this place, with a small menu, will satisfy if you are looking for a beer and a good burger. Breakfast was very nice with a great wait staff that brought drinks and coffee quickly each morning and remembered thereafter. Tables always clean unlike other hotels that leave messy tables when mornings are busy and tables are in demand. Good coffee. Would stay again.
Response: Thanks for the great review, Peggy! It's wonderful you enjoyed your stay at Hyatt Centric Arlington so much! We strive for excellence so we're thrilled you appreciated not only our prime location and soundless accommodations, but also our dining options! Your praise lets us know we're doing our job! We can't wait to host you again soon for another amazing experience! Have a fantastic day!

Naturally E: This location is awesome! It's in the perfect area with lots of great food choices w/n walking distance. The staff is awesome! Mohammed, the bartender, is GREAT! He's fun to chat with & he makes good drinks. I'd recommend this location if you're in town for a quick business trip.
Response: Thank you for the fantastic review! It's outstanding your time at Hyatt Centric Arlington was so amazing. We love sharing our excellent service with each person who walks through our door. It's team members like Mohammed who ensure our guests are getting the best level of service. That's what we like to see! We can't wait until your next visit so we can once again share our high-caliber service with you. Have a beautiful day!

Rashid Alyousif: 😃 I was very happy with the overall stay 😄 Room was up to standard and clean. However, sometimes no hot water 👤 Room service was quite fast and professional 🏊‍♂️ not available 🍱 The waiter at the breakfast buffet was nice and helpful. However, no variety of food for 3 days 🏨 check in and check out was smooth
Response: Thank you for the feedback, Rashid. We regret that your time with us was anything less than perfect. While we're happy that you appreciated our clean rooms, services, and check-in and check-out process, it's unfortunate our water temperatures, lack of the pool, and food offerings didn't exceed your expectations. We strive to ensure our guests have a pleasant experience so we'll be sure to discuss your feedback with the appropriate members of our team moving forward. We hope you allow us the opportunity to share a more positive experience with you soon.

Hyatt Regency Crystal City At Reagan National Airport: what do users think?

Jason Broughton: I visited this location for a conference. The entry way is contemporary and the decor quickly creates a visually stimulating atmosphere. There are ample places to sit and gather, talk, relax, or have a bite to eat. There are various areas to also work or take a phone call in the lobby areas and areas that are in each floor. The conference area is easily accessible and is multifaceted in it's design. The staff is quite amazing for assistance. I can't say enough about this as I was a sighted person attending a conference for the American Federation of the Blind leadership Conference. The entire organization ensured everything was accessible for attendees and guide dogs. They were stellar in their customer service and hospitality with this situation.
Response: Hello Jason Broughton, Thank you for your review. We are glad that you were pleased with our hotel's layout and appearance. Our staff is the forefront of our hotel and we can't be more pleased to hear that they provided exceptional service and accommodated all of your needs as well as the needs of other guests and attendees of the conference. We will be sure to share your compliments with our team who I'm sure will be most appreciative. We hope to welcome you back soon! Best Regards, Toya

Val Jones: Very clean and modern rooms. Fridges are in the rooms which is always a wonderful thing. I love the lighting in the room! Everything is fresh and vibrant! I think the bathroom is a tad small but it has an industrial look so it's sort of gets away with it. Also it has an Ethernet plug!!! Always a good thing!!! Overall I really enjoy this hotel great customer service and great design! And nice views from the 14th floor.
Response: Good Day Val Jones, We appreciate your feedback. It is excellent you enjoyed your visit and your room was very clean and modern. It is always great to have a fridge in the room and we are pleased you loved the lighting in the room. The ethernet plugs are so handy! We are ecstatic you enjoyed our hotel and we provided great customer service. Thank you for staying with us we hope you will return for another fantastic visit! Kind regards, Tonya

Tonya Walker: My stay has always be amazing! Hotel is close to everything you need and surrounding areas-- National Harbor, mall, monument...etc. The front desk, security, other staff and valet attendants treat you with respect with great member service. My recent stay was June 29- July 1st and it was superb. I had a personal, unexpected situation on my behalf and Irene was able to come up and help assist me (in which she did not have to). She checked on me throughout my stay and gave me the most sweetest and genuine wisdom there and at my car during my departure. I did not get the valet attendants names but they went beyond my expectations. Late night room service (delicious, and flavorful), pool, restaurant inside hotel and near and other hotel amenities are a Plus! I always refer others to stay here. Keep doing a terrific job, and providing superb service to your guests. You have a loyal member/guest from me and my family. Blessings to you all😊❤. See you soon!!
Response: Greetings Tonya Walker, Thank you for the kind comments! We are thrilled your stay is always amazing and you enjoy our convenient location. It it excellent to hear our staff are respectful and provide great service. We love to hear your stay was superb and Irene provided such exceptional service. It is wonderful our room service was to your satisfaction and you enjoyed our many amenities. We are honored to have you and your family as loyal guests' and we can't wait to welcome you back! Warmest regards, Tonya

Christine Foley: I had a wonderful stay here! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Great gift shop, bar, and restaurant attached. My room was perfectly clean when I arrived and the bed was very comfortable. I had been traveling up the east coast when I stayed here and can honestly say this was the nicest hotel I stayed at during my trip. I also had a very affordable rate which made the experience even better. Great place!
Response: Hello Christine Foley, Thank you so much for your kind review! I'm so pleased to hear that you had such a wonderful stay with us. Thank you for choosing Hyatt. We hope to welcome you back soon! Kind Regards, Toya

France DiNardo: I generally love Hyatt Regency properties. I’ve stayed at many across the country. However, this location was disappointing. The rooms are very run down and need a remodel. As you can see the bathroom is poorly designed. The bathroom goes into the shower leaving no room as the space is already confined. The worst part was the rust on the bathroom hardware as you can see from the photos. They have empty bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash that’s been there for many months maybe couple years. They could have removed the hardware as the rust is not sanitary. I felt dirty getting out of the shower. We checked in super late around midnight. I definitely did not get a warm welcome from the gentleman at the front desk. It was a short stay so I did not get to experience the rest of the hotel. I’m glad it was short because the room was not up to par. It lacks cleanliness and sanitation. I would not stay here again.

Nicholas Christopher Hood: Well, I will give staff efforts a sharp five stars for sure. We overall had a fine stay, and picked this spot because reviews mentioned it being fairly quiet; we are light sleepers. It was overall true except our first room had a hotel party next door, and that was a surprise. It just felt that the hotel residents were gritty and party oriented or weekend warriors more than anything else. So I cannot say it’s a dignified hotel locale or top notch 4 star. It’s a bit more anything else. Rooms seem clean and organized. Hotel food is worthless on every account unfortunately, but nearby spots. YES this hotel has a shuttle to DCA Regan airport and it takes 10 minutes and runs every 20, and it’s free to ride.
Response: Hello Nicholas Christopher Hood, Thank you for leaving a review. I'm glad to hear that our staff made a very favorable impression. I am disappointed to learn that your stay was not great. I want to extend an apology on behalf of our team for your stay being disturbed by a loud party. I assure you that this is not the norm and inconsistent with our standards. This issue will be addressed with our team. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy the food at our hotel but it's good to know that you were able to find nearby restaurants to suit your taste. We hope to have an opportunity to welcome you back for a better stay in the future. Best Regards, Toya

Mariam Owodele: Stayed here while in town for a conference. The hotel ambiance is nice, the rooms are adequate. Because of covid protocols, house keeping was doing light cleaning - emptying trash and replacing towels. My only dislike was short shower curtains that let water get on the floor. The Cinnabar restaurant had good food options for breakfast, didn't do lunch there. The location is nice, with a good number of other restaurants within 10 minutes of walking. Overall a pleasant stay.
Response: Dear Mariam Owodele, Thank you for your positive comments.I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your breakfast at Cinnabar, and our location was convenient for your needs, and desires. We hope to see you again soon! Aneshia

SJ Hockey: This is the second time I have stayed in this location. The first time was in July 2019 when I was studying and taking classes for my Cisco certification. This time, I'm here for recreation. Both the first time and now have been a wonderful, comfortable stay, with nice, clean, modern rooms, and wonderful, responsive staff to my needs. I had a little issue as my parents used their rewards points to pay for my stay. However, when I tried to use their card to allow a $50 authorization for room damages, I was told I need a card under my name or the system won't accept me since the room was under my name. Not sure why the card that was used to pay for the room isn't allowed to pay the charges, but it is what it is. Just make sure you bring a card under your name. Also none of the vending machines had any drinks stocked on my floor and several others above and below it that I checked. Other than that, the hotel is nice, the staff is great, and I will definitely choose the Hyatt again next time I'm in the DC area. I will also recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to DC. The price is affordable and the service great.
Response: Hello SJ Hockey, We are overjoyed this is your second time staying with us and you had a wonderful, comfortable stay with a nice, clean, and modern room. It is fantastic our staff provided such great service! We apologize for the inconvenience with the authorization and also for the vending machines not being stocked. We appreciate this insight to provide a better experience to our guests. We are honored you will recommend our hotel and we look forward to your next visit! Warm regards, Tonya

Donté Dunnagan: In all fairness I didn't get to stay a full day due to being booked here after my flight got canceled. That being said it is a very nice hotel. The lobby and restaurant/bar was a wide open area and nice designs and aesthetically pleasing look and mood. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. I did not however appreciate the shower designs.. That felt... Invasive? Bathroom wasn't big compared to how big the room was. But, the shower offered no privacy. You couldn't actually close the shower. You stepped in behind a glass wall and the shower head is round and just faces down and there's nothing you can really do to fix it. So instead of water coming at you it's just dumping on your head more or less. I absolutely hated the shower, your miles may vary.
Response: Hello Donte, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on our hotel. We do apologize for the inconvenience the shower in the bathroom may have caused you. We value our guests' insights and feedback and we will consider your comments while making changes. We hope to welcome you back soon! Best, Anisa

Hyatt Place Arlington/Courthouse Plaza: what do users think?

Jane Zimmerman: We expected to spend one week -- two max -- at Hyatt Place Courthouse when we checked in hurriedly with our dog after a house fire forced us from our home in early December. Surely we'd be home by Christmas... then New Year's... MLK Day? During our 39 days at this hotel, we were wrapped in the comfort of a spacious room that could accommodate "work from hotel" as well as a family movie night with everyone piled up in one bed with popcorn from the microwave and drinks from the fridge. When I celebrated a milestone birthday in January, the hotel staff helped my family stage all the fixings for a big surprise in an adjacent empty room. Vicky, Lacey, Sammy, and all the staff went out of their way to be kind and treat us like family, including our dog. When a friend joined me for coffee one morning, the coffee urn stayed out extra long so that I could continue to enjoy my visitor. I saw a lot of the "behind the scenes" work and the extra TLC the team gave all the hotel guests. The Hyatt Place Courthouse location is ideal. We had two grocery stores within walking distance, and lots of cafes and restaurants. It wasn't home, but it was as homey as could be, and made a traumatic experience one full of sweet and precious memories!
Response: Thank you so much for sharing your experience Jane. We enjoyed your family and are so pleased to have been able to provide a memorable experience during this challenging time for you and yours.

Matthew Cheung: Good location, spacious lobby, clean hotel and rooms. Friendly staff that is ready to help with a smile. EV chargers are handy in the extra fee garage but may be blocked by non EV, so call ahead. Poor breakfast even for Hyatt place, though there are other good restaurant options nearby.
Response: Thank you for sharing your experience. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Please note, we will return to our elevated breakfast by mid-June and hope to welcome you back to enjoy it!

reg will: Great staff, great location. From what I could tell, definitely one of the nicer hotels in the area. Walking distance to some really good restaurants. What more could you want. We where there for a thing at Arlington National Cemetery. Did I mention that the staff is great!
Response: Thank you so much for taking time to share your experience. I will ensure this is shared with our "Great staff"! We hope to welcome you back in the future.

Twilite: I just got back from my stay at this hotel. The building itself is very generic. Lit up at night, it reminds me of a hospital. The parking garage is not well marked nor is it a secured garage. Everyone from the hotel patrons to the staff and surrounding the area has access to this garage. When I first saw this garage I thought it was the place where the hotel stores its trash. It’s dark and dank. Very steep entrance. Two levels with hairpin turn. Very small parking spots make it extremely difficult to park and to get back out. Check-in was easy. The elevators are controlled by using your room key. To call the elevator to the floor you're on hold your room key over a sensor next to the elevator. Why I can appreciate how secure this makes entering the hotel floors if you are not a patron very difficult try juggling your belongings with the other hand and holding the room key to the elevator sensor at the same time. It can be challenging. The hotel rooms are strange. At least to me, they were. The bathroom has opaque green glass which is quite heavy. It is easy to move and has a stop on the track about 4 inches away where it slows down without slamming. This door is quite heavy. If you have small children be wary it will break bones if this door slams. The room has a TV, mini-fridge/freezer, iron and board, hairdryer, safe, and one cup coffee maker. The towels are thin but I've had much thinner, a little rough but not too bad. The shower was quite large, with no bathtub which I appreciate, and a glass enclosure with a sliding door. The water pressure was limited but I was still able to rinse my hair of product reasonable quick. The bathroom also had its typical assortment of mini shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The room (which I believe all rooms have)has a sofa bed which we didn't sleep on. It was comfortable to sit on except one end was much firmer than the other end. The room also had this desk in an awkward position. It sat at the bottom of the bed with a desk chair causing you to have to shimmy across to get to the window on the other side of the room. I didn't understand why they didn't put the desk under the window there was a boatload of unused space over there. Also, between the desk and window, there was this large wall probably 4 1/2 feet long. It was blank no artwork. It just looked strange to me. There is a partition about 2 feet long and floor to ceiling height that separates the sofa from the bed. Whenever the A/C unit came on there were popping noises that came from this partition. It was pretty annoying when you were trying to sleep. The A/C unit cooled the room down quickly. There is a huge vent that dumps quite a lot of air into the room. It's directly across from that partition I spoke about. When you have the unit on it's LOUD which I appreciate, I like white noise but you'll have to turn the TV volume way up to hear it. When the compressor turns off the fan is also loud but again for sleeping, I appreciate the noise. On the positive side, this was the first time I stayed at a hotel where the bed didn't try to kill me. Once I finally fell asleep it was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in even my own bed which is a Sleep Number bed. The bed was soft but firm supporting my body in all the right places. The pillows were amazing. It had great neck support. They were dense yet soft and pliable. The pillow gave great support while on my stomach, sides, and back and the pillow moved right along with me. Loved it. The continental breakfast was boring. I can't speak to what it was before covid but there wasn't much to choose from. You had the usual juices, coffee, tea, milk, 2 different breakfast sandwiches, pre-packaged fruit cups, yogurt, container cereal, and oatmeal. That's pretty much it. Finally, check out. You can go to the front desk to check out or use their App. We chose to use the App. It was extremely easy.
Response: Thank you for sharing the details of your experience. We value your feedback and will review it to see where we can improver our service and guest's experiences in the future. A couple of things to note, we are hoping to have a better parking solution by the end of the year. Breakfast will be enhanced with better options by mid June. thank you for being our guest and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards, Kelly

Luke Roberts: It was a good stay. Parts of the hotel seemed like you can tell this is a busy hotel, a little wear and tear here and there, but overall not bad.Check in and check out both took some time as we had to wait in line.
Response: Thank you for sharing your experience. We will use your feedback to improve our hotel and efficiencies. I hope to welcome you back to earn 5 stars on your next visit.

Carson Wakefield: Great hotel. The rooms don't have a microwave which is the only thing keeping it from a 5. Its actually a 4.5 over a 4. Breakfast is pre-prepared, microwave sandwiches but thats a COVID precaution side effect still (May 2022). Close to several restaurants and a metro stop on the Silver and Orange lines.
Response: Thank you for sharing your review. We do have a microwave in the lobby after breakfast for our guest to utilize and in mid June we will return to our elevated breakfast. We hope to welcome you back to enjoy it!

Sajan Kumar: Pros 1. Location - Hyatt Place at Arlington Courthouse plaza (2401 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201) is in a nice location. They are located just 5 miles south of DC, in a very clean, calm, peaceful, yet contemporary location, esp. considering how close they are to the city. 2. Clean facility - They do a great job of keeping the facility and the rooms clean. 3. Helpful Employees - Most people who work there were nice and helpful, esp. Mr. Kofie, who went over and above his call of duty to help us with our concerns and requirements. Kudos to him, give him a raise will ya..  Cons 1. Lack of good food options at the facility - Breakfast was provided but it was pre-packaged cheap food. Since nothing was cooked at the facility, hence food was neither fresh nor delicious. Though they have a kitchen, bar, and a dining facility adjacent to the lobby, but since the kitchen is not active, it translates to limited food service to the room. But there are plenty of restaurants and bars around, if you don’t mind stepping out. 2. Housekeeping - Though the place and the rooms are kept clean, but housekeeping had to be called daily, and multiple times before they could come clean the trash or change the towels / sheets. So, I must ding them for the slight lack of reform there. 3. Front Desk - Though the front desk was not bad, but it would’ve been nicer if they could be more friendly (like welcoming with a smiling) and be more engaging with the customers, esp. when welcoming them. I had to figure by myself where my room was and it would’ve been nicer if they could’ve guided me the way to my room, like which floor and how to reach it, cuz the elevator worked only with the room cards, and since no one informed me, I had to figure it out the hard way. 4. Lighting - Though the design of the hotel is good and gets plenty of sunlight in, but the actual lights in the rooms are not great and do a poor job of lighting up the room, esp. at night. It would be nicer to have bright white LEDs instead of the old-fashioned yellow bulbs, they are brighter, cheaper and has better longevity. Even better would be to get the multicolor LEDs that has mood lighting. 5. Water pressure – Wash basin faucet water pressure was not good, but I guess they can fix that easily.
Response: Thank for sharing your experience. I will share your kind words with the team, particularly Kofi! I am also pleased to let you know that we have already enhanced some of your listed cons. 1. Today (June 15, we started our enhanced breakfast to include eggs, breakfast meat option, potato option and either french toast or waffle depending on the day. We will continue to enhance as we build back our team and items become available. 2. we have rolled out housekeeping on demand and are now confirming upon arrival if you would like daily housekeeping or would like to schedule it based on your need. We will continue to review and see how we can improve on your other items and hope you will return to enjoy. Thank you again for being our guest and taking time to share!

John Kuzyk: Groups with motor coaches stay far far away. Managers misleads client, without stating limited time for coach parking. Only available after 19:00 to 06:00hrs. As groups arrive before 17:00 and depart after 08:00, Hyatt does not know where motor coach can go. The two meter spots in front could accommodate if Hyatt took iniative to arrange. Hyatt corporate requires to review why client not told limited hours.
Response: I am sorry to see you did not receive the appropriate communication. We do our best to advise all partners of this parking option as we do not have onsite bus parking. Buses can stage on the side street by the hotel if they arrive prior or depart after 6. The parking is available on Saturdays and Sundays. We will use your feedback to communicate better in the future. Thank you.

Jennifer Phipps: Hotel was super clean and staff friendly. Water pressure good, enough towels, TV in view of bed and couches, room felt spacious, and it had nice views of the city on the 8th floor. Only complaint was the hotel's breakfast. Everything was wrapped to-go, and nothing looked appetizing. But there are a lot of good food places in the area. Sorry, the pics are from the end of the stay.
Response: Thank you for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you back to earn a 5 out of 5!

Chimerica C: Very spacious and clean room. Staff was very friendly and ready to help when needed. Close to restaurants, bars, and metro. Will definitely stay here again.
Response: Thank you for sharing your kind words and the 5 star review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us!
