The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Mother Tucker: Location is good. Easy to locate. Front desk staff was rude and condescending during every interaction. Room was nice but nothing exciting. The doormen and the staff on our floor cleaning were all exceptionally pleasant. They are what earned the three stars. Also, if you want eye candy, stay at the same time as dignitaries so the place will be full of secret service. I felt very safe.

Logan Deyo: Fantastic staff. Everything was top-notch, clean, and met our expectations. Our supposed room “upgrade” wasn’t really any upgrade, but nonetheless it was a good room. Breakfast was also great. About a five minute walk from the nearest Metro station which made it nice to get around. A longer walk, but we walked all the way down to the National Mall in about 40 minutes.

David Berman: The Ritz Carlton in Washington DC is one of the best hotels I have ever been to! The people who work there are so nice and welcoming. It is a hard place to not love. I personally loved my room. My room came with 2 bathrooms, A enclosed bedroom, and a bar area along with a dinner area. It was the height of luxury. The restaurant there was called the Quadrant. They had some of the best service I have ever had at a hotel restaurant. The food came in huge portions and looked spectacular. Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience there and I know that if any of you guys go there you will too! David Berman Public Space Rating Co. 2021-2022 Chief Rating Officer

Tammy Trungadi: My first time at the Ritz Carlton! It was so beautiful and my stay was fabulous! Maggie, a member from the staff, was so kind to me. She personally brought me carafe of coffee to my room! I felt like a princess! Room was spacious, beautiful and everything you possibly could need for a restful and relaxing stay!

Candy Be: Stayed for 4 nights. Mo at the Concierge desk and John at the restaurant coordinated cocktails one night and dinner another night for our large group. Mirna with room service was so friendly. Overall a pleasant stay.

InterContinental Washington D.C. - The Wharf, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Kyle Lennon: Shout Out to Meredith, she is a gem and a half at this hotel! This property is very new and certainly a show stopper, I love the ultramodern design and the bathrooms were stunning. I also loved the balcony overlooking the river and walkways. The bar had great service and great personalities to accompany your cocktails while they served you. Top notch hotel and will certainly make this my preferred DC hotel!

Adrienne Messe: The staff at the InterContinental on the Wharf D.C. is all-round amazing. I am so happy we chose this venue for our recent event. Every member of their team is truly hospitable, and they are dedicated to every client’s success and every guest’s experience. The Sales and Event Managers were helpful/agile partners to us through multiple event date and contract changes, thanks Mayte & Alicia! The Banquet Director was dependable at every moment for our 3 day-event and made sure everything was executed to perfection, thanks George! The hosts at the front door/front desk helped all the guests in our room block have an easy and enjoyable stay for the duration of our event. Thanks to all for helping make our event a success!

Hope Poulsen: Pool is WAY smaller than pictures, we were all shocked at how small. The pool deck gave me and every single one of my friends splinters. And, there are only 5 lounge chairs for the entire pool. Staff is very friendly, but we had to ask for the same requests multiple times. So they seem a little disorganized. Room was very nice & clean and the location is perfect! I chose this rating because of the value - it’s not a terrible place to stay by any means, but you don’t get what you pay for. Not unreasonable to have high expectations when paying almost $500 a night, and this place did not meet those expectations.

The Watergate Hotel: what do users think?

Catherine Misleh: Worst service I’ve had in a long time - possibly ever. This rating should be negative zero stars. My mother is visiting from out of town (very far away) and I had planned a nice day to include afternoon tea for the both of us as a special treat. We do not get time together very often. Imagine our surprise and disappointment when we arrived and the restaurant had no signs of life - closed without notice. I went to the concierge desk of the Watergate and was informed it had been closed days before with no explanation and that they were sorry but the reservation must have been made through a glitch in their system. The woman behind the counter was very nonchalant and not at all concerned, even when I showed her proof of my reservation. Funny since I received both an email and two text reminders asking me to confirm, and was also charged for a prepaid tea service. The Watergate staff did not offer any recompense, said I would have to resolve the charge to my card online, and to "try Georgetown” for something today. Absolutely unacceptable! I will not be returning and will make sure to recommend against it every time. I thought it would be fun to try, but there are plenty of better other and obviously better options in the area anyway. I should add there were a couple of other guests in front of us who seemed extremely distraught by poor service and their rooms not being ready, so overall I would say this establishment should be passed over in every respect.

Olivier Saint-Vincent: 100% recommended!! If you are looking for a 5 stars ⭐️ hôtel in DC, this is the one. It was perfectly located for us between Georgetown and the Mall (walking distance), and very quiet at the same time. Gym, pool, jacuzzi, library, breakfast are great. You can walk by the Potomac easily… and it’s one of the best rooftop in DC. The architecture is beautiful and bold. The staff is very attentive and always there to help. We can say that the new GM know how to make a stay unforgettable!!!

Adam Galazka: Absolutely stunning hotel. Amazing location by the Potomac River. Walking distance to many different stores and restaurants. Check in was great. Valet parking on site for $58 a night. Rooms are spacious and the most comfortable bed. Some rooms do have balconies with waterviews but they are a little dirty. When trying to call the front desk it took awhile for them to answer the phone. Besides a couple of those negative we would definitely come back.

A. H.: Disappointing experience this time around. I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times in the past, but recently it’s gone a little downhill. The mandatory valet parking definitely needs improvement, as the attendants take 20-30 minutes to retrieve or even park your car. They were not at all friendly, barely spoke English, and left my car reeking of weed or tobacco smoke. Absurdly expensive rates given the terrible service. A cheap motel could’ve handled valet parking better. Embarrassing! Room and location are great. Front desk staff are super friendly. But frankly the valet service was so consistently awful over three days, that I probably won’t return again (at least not with a car).

Preeti Dawane: While the staff was great, the hotel itself cannot call itself luxury by any stretch of the imagination. On our arrival to our rooms, our bedsheets were DIRTY WITH STAINS. I have stayed at 3 star hotels where I have NEVER encountered such an issue. For the prices they charge, the Watergate is absolutely not worth the stay. The only reason this hotel gets ANY stars is because of the staff who took care of us. I definitely don’t include all of the front desk staff in that praise. I also was never contacted about the issue with the sheets. I had to follow up about the issue. We also have not received our itemized bill following check out. I’ve really never been more disappointed with a “luxury” hotel than this one. I will NEVER stay here again. Such a rip off.

The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown, Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Jessica Leifer: Disappointing. Can hear the highway from the room, and they supposedly didn’t have any other rooms to offer us. Definitely not worth the price. Rooms should be soundproofed better. Mediocre— nice Marriott at best. Probably could have spent $200 less and stayed at a hotel just as nice, and way quieter. The lobby is adorable and homey feeling. Service was great. Location is great.

Sean C: For a high end hotel, the rooms were old, not well maintained, and very underwhelming. We were super disappointed when we got into our room. It was mediocre at best. It looks like what you would expect at one of the lower end Marriott properties, but not a Ritz. The shower is super small, the toilet is very low to the ground and uncomfortable. The bathtub was dirty, the towels were small, thin and not soft at all. The wallpaper also has stains in a number of places. The lobby of the hotel is nice and the location is good. There are two wings in the hotel and our room was in the West, so I don’t know if this is an older part of the hotel or not, but it could use major renovations for us to want to come back again.

Toni Dzinic: My wife and I had our wedding at the Ritz in their Fahrenheit Ballroom, and what a beautiful night it was! We had ~60 guests and that is about the most people I’d personally recommend for the ballroom. Liliana Klein is the person to talk to when you want to plan a wedding there and she’s such a pleasure to work with. She walked us through everything from day 1. The food was excellent, the preferred vendors were also a joy to work with. Seriously, I’ve never experienced better service at a hotel. If you’re considering having your wedding here, do it! If you’re coming here for a night or two, or just to enjoy some dinner and cocktails, you also won’t regret it. We’ll be back!

One Washington Circle Hotel: what do users think?

Josephine Amuron: The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly, I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was amazing

Julisa Ovando: I stayed here about 2 years ago room was nice check in was good BUT I paid for valet parking once I got my car back it was ransacked everything was everywhere I had hundreds dollars worth of items from my trunk stolen I spoke to the manager with my husband they assured me they’d help me out but no 2 years later I have heard nothing. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

Helena Williams: I stayed here for a week on a school trip and it was great. Our group was well accommodated, and the staff were all very helpful. The rooms were really nice and clean, and there was a whole kitchenette and a balcony. It was also within walking distance of a lot of other cool destinations. I had a great time at this hotel and I would definitely recommend.

Mark Jackson: Excellent location, very inexpensive, genuinely helpful, nice, caring staff, and surprise! The hotel "room" is actually a spacious apartment with a balcony equipped with table and chairs (too cold for us to use). This would be a great place to stay for a week. Tip: Take the room rate that includes parking. Paid in advance it adds $25 to the cost of the room. Otherwise valet parking is $42/night.

Megan Rainey: Great place to stay! Was only there for 1 night, but hotel was clean, rooms were spacious with private balconies and is perfectly located in the city within walking distance to restaurants, bars, the Monument and other historical sites, and Georgetown. Staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Will definitely be staying here whenever we visit DC! Picture is our view from the balcony.

Paul Durkes: Hotel has a great location to everything. The rooms are clean and spacious. Having a balcony is a nice feature too. Cleaning Service is quick and not too intrusive. Only complaint is the shower gel smells horrible. Not sure why it was used.

Maria Bruce: The staff was very friendly. It was difficult to fall asleep because we were on the second floor. Maybe a higher floor would have been quieter. Also the bathroom toilet was way too close to the vanity and toilet paper holder. I kept hitting my arm and shoulder on it. Other than that the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square: what do users think?

Kimberly Giang: Super friendly staff and great location. Room was very clean and tidy. Valet staff was fast and very helpful. Love that it was pet friendly. My only negative comment is that the shower and sink would do this weird random thing where it would shut off mid use for about 20seconds. Fortunately the water would come back on nice and hot again but it was strange. My overall experience was still 5 stars and I would definitely stay here again.

Joe Mulder: firstly this is a super nice hotel with a top location and with super nice staff. The room nicely decorated. the bed is super soft i slept very well. Only a small litte thing is that sometimes some feathers sticking out of the bed. But besides that I had 2 perfect nights at this hotel i definitely recommend this hotel.

Mustafa Rabah: For a business trip I stayed 6 nights in this hotel in January and had a really great stay; I am an Arabic interpreter (from Syria) and I was summoned to Washinton. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the subway; and other attractions such as the white house; also In the immediate vicinity there are bars, restaurants and everything you need. both the long journey and the work were tiring as I had to be around the city about 10 hours a day in the middle of winter so the 2 things I most appreciated were 1) the breakfast was plentiful and varied perfect to start the day; 2) the bed are comfortable with very soft, thick duvet that really aid sleep, i liked the duve: it was huge and wide and not single like in many european hotels. I conclude by saying that the rooms are spacious and well furnished and offer excellent comfort for business travelers; therefore I can say with certainty that my stay was a positive experience

BC Taylor: I had the corner room 314, for June 17th-19th. I liked my view. I loved my location. I loved the overall feel of the area. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay for your visit!

Deanna Bossebroek: I hate writing bad reviews but...Very disappointing experience here. My biggest complaint is their gym, or lack of, almost every piece of equipment was out of order and the gym was so dirty that I ended up buying classes at the Barrys for my stay. I asked to talk to someone and also emailed staff with no reply. Sad. Not 5 stars! Please please put your gym as out of service and note on the website!

Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC: what do users think?

julie c: We just spent the weekend here and loved the entire experience. The room was nice, clean and stylish but the people are the ones who made it a great visit. We were greeted by any employee we came in contact with, by name when they knew it. The bartenders were great, remembered our drinks from the first night, took time to converse with us despite how busy they were. We will gladly return on our next trip to DC.

Kimberly W.: Our family has celebrated many special occasions at this property. The entire staff, especially Nicole, are the absolute best! They always remember us and provide the most impeccable care during our visits! I highly recommend this property, the ambiance and amazing staff ensure we always return!

Joe J.: Most likely the best hotel in Washington DC. The experiences are top notch, from the brunches on Sundays to the ambient spa treatments, this hotel is the epitome of a 5 star hotel. Definitely check it out!

Aisha Lynette: After the sudden illness and transition of my father I needed a staycation. The staff at the Four Seasons was absolutely incredible. My every need was met. Kudos to the team.

Sharon Walker: Learned they offer spa services.and that the all you can eat buffet is on Sundays only between 11am and 2pm.

Aaron Grey: Celebrated wedding anniversary with Sunday Brunch, and it was absolutely great! So much variety, great food, great service...just everything was great!

Dasha Zhukova: Full disclosure: I have worked with Four Seasons for some time but this was a personal visit for my family and I. I had high standards and Marc and his phenomenal team did not disappoint. Housekeeping, concierge, reception, and dining were all top notch. Their team had done their research on me and my family from my many other stays with their properties and applied their knowledge subtly to my stay. They are magicians of the hospitality industry and set a standard for others to aspire to.

Brian Peddie: Great drinks and service. Iconic bar with a lively but professional setting.

The Westin Georgetown, Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Francesca Leo: Classic hotel in a convenient location close to Georgetown and GW. Only issue is that when we arrived at our room, we noticed items from the mini bar were opened and half eaten/missing. We reported this to the front desk and they sent someone up immediately to take care of it. However, the items were never replaced and we were charged. The charges were removed as soon as we spoke with the front desk again. Everyone was kind and addressed our concerns timely and appropriately. Would return.

Natasha Pradhan: We got locked out of the parking garage (which btw, please never park in if you are not a hotel guest). Kyle went above and beyond to help us exit the garage that had closed without warning, when we weren’t even hotel guests. True human kindness does exist.

Thomas G: Nice centrally located hotel. The rooms are roomy, and the bathroom is huge. But disappointed that on-premise restaurants are currently closed, including no option for breakfast.

Hilton Washington DC Capitol Hill: what do users think?

Jon Scott: Great place to stay in the heart of the city. Almost everything is a ten to twenty minute walk. If you need to go further, Union Station is just around the block. The rooms are clean, the lobby is well kept, and staff are very friendly. One of the key issues I find in hotel rooms is they have the AC blowing at the head of the bed. NOT here, it’s around the corner providing a very comfortable environment and I don’t wake up with a stuffed head.

Ronald Walker: Great experience overall for our family. Breakfast was wonderful - especially because the staff got to know us. I had some concerns related to the safety of the front drive (railing forced pedestrians to either squeese between the iron railing or step in front of cars) and iron struts sticking out from under the king-sized bed in our room, but we managed. Great location near Union Station.

Workin Mom: I booked the same day as an impromptu stay with the family. We checked in at 9pm. Choice of parking was valet $59 or park in the street which after 10pm is free & free on Sundays. I was able to park across the street. Our double bed room was clean. Beds are full size, not queen, but were comfortable and bathroom was nicely renovated. I paid $200 for a Saturday night, last minute which I think is reasonable. Modern TV, 2 USB ports and plenty of towels. The clock radio screen was broken & the bathroom fan had cracked drywall, 2 things that could easily be fixed. Overall, happy with the location, price & cleanliness.

Yuhan Wang: I got a corner room on the top floor with a perfect view. Looking at the capitol hill all night was an amazing experience. The shower is amazing. Great staff. However, I do not feel very safe around this area. You can find hotels that are cheaper, newer, and closer to those tourist attractions.

Christopher Platt: Travelled to DC with family for an educational trip, superb location for all that Smithsonian and National Mall had to offer - Union Station within two blocks walk. The hotel offered everything a young family would want, rooms were virtually soundproof, and everything was new, fresh, and clean. We were even welcomed by GM Jeff, he took great care of our kids and other guests at breakfast. Will 100% be returning to this hotel on all future visits!

Anthony Tijerino: My stay at the Hilton in Washington DC - Capital Hill was fantastic! Most notably, the staff member I met or interacted with were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s location is enviable - it is perfectly located within walking distance of many superb dining experiences, the many national monuments the city is known for, and it’s relative closeness from a variety of nightlife options. 10/10 would recommend this hotel as fantastic place to stay and I am 10/10 looking forward to my next stay!

It Starts at Home - Sonali Kapoor: The hotel is absolutely amazing, with the most amazing staff from the vallet to front office, they are warm, courteous, aware and just lovely. The rooms, resturant lobby were all spectacularly clean and everything in place. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was delicious. The bar has some gr8 drinks..evening vibe is gr8 there.

Paul Baltadonis: This was the single worst Hilton experience I have had. From the quality of the rooms (think 1960’s build with a late 90’s coat of paint and peeling wallpaper), to the lack of proper housekeeping (had to call multiple times to tell them that no one had serviced the room yet), to a generally ambivalent staff, this was a very poor Hilton experience. The hotel is in poor condition (look at the drains in the showers and the wallpaper and paint peeling off the walls, not to mention all the extra holes in the walls from where they’ve replaced towel holders, etc), the staff did nothing to correct the deficiencies of service (everything was brought to their attention and all they could offer was “oh, I’m so sorry about that”. No recompense, no offer to move us to another facility in the city, nothing. I’ve stayed all over the country, and have ranged in everything from Hilton Garden Inns to the Waldorf Astoria; this was, by far, the poorest example of a Hilton experience I have had. It is unfortunate that this happened to be a family vacation instead of just a work trip. We all got to enjoy this masterpiece….

Hyatt Regency Washington On Capitol Hill: what do users think?

Maureen Jackson: Staff were beyond friendly and always smiling. Made our stay very enjoyable. Rooms were clean and so quiet. The restaurant was awesome from the breakfast to dinner. We ate a few times in restaurant and the wait staff remembered us and made it very homey. Quality of food was excellent. Never had a bad meal. Best hotel experience for us in a long time. Within easy walking distance of the mall

Lisa Van Aartsen: Service excellent, rooms clean, like the efficiency yet stylish way it is styled. Lights too bright in the bathroom and unable to decrease. Used a bath towel over the light to dim it down. Would be nice to have bottles of water in room to go with coffee maker... right? Grab and go currently for meals at the restaurant. Not much for choices. Very nice store including Starbucks coffee, very appreciative of that. Sheets very smooth, pleasant, bed comfy, could be better, could be worse. Nicely located. Will go again.

Jeff Ery: Room was awful. Beds were super soft and the room temp was set at 65 but I felt as hot as fish grease in lent. Woke up in a sweat every night. Location was awesome though. Breakfast was good too. Bar has stiff drinks. The room though.... Yech.

Brenda Orffer: The Hyatt Regency is a great location for easy access to capital buildings (meetings), great food and restaurants, and to DCA Airport. Right now, April 1, the hotel is not offering room service, and housekeeping is not provided unless requested. Otherwise, things seem to be all systems go. Masks are encouraged but not required. The hotel has hand sanitizer stations throughout as well. The desk and office chair in the rooms are not well matched for height. Very uncomfortable seating for a long period of time. Thankfully there is lots of lobby and social space to find a place to work more comfortably. There is a small fridge in the room, but no water is stocked in the room. You can get bottled water from front desk and valet desk if you request it.

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC Downtown: what do users think?

Lawrence Fulgieri: Perfect location…. Right across from Metro blue line. A few good restaurants close by. Staff was great. Like many hotels now, because of staffing issues, not all services are being performed but if you asked them for anything, they were right on it. My wife and two kids would definitely use that hotel again. We were originally placed on the 3rd floor and asked if we could go higher as to not hear street noise. No issues, they moved us up to 13 and it was great. Super friendly staff. All of them were super nice and were happy to serve.

Lei Howe: Great location in the heart of Washington DC, you can walk to all the major attractions from this hotel. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Rooms are small to my standard, but it is understandable from the perspective of historical building and the location. Service is very good. The lobby manager Derrick is very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to find us two rooms next to each other and this made our stay much more pleasant. Would stay there again.

Richard Walsh: Mixed review for families. The location is what you’re paying for. Everything is walking distance. The rooms are okay. Clean. Nothing spectacular. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were very good and not over priced. The parking, taxes, and fees were a little excessive. $50 nightly to park and then another $50 nightly in taxes is excessive. Turned our good deal into a pricey 2 night stay for my family of 5. The hotel pool hours were from 6am to 11pm which my kids loved. However it was very small and pretty cold. I would probably not stay here again as the city has many 3 star name hotels for similar prices.

Samantha Showalter: From check-in to check-out the service was excellent! I loved the location, the room was comfy, and the food in the restaurant yummy! The staff was really helpful and provided great recommendations. The doormen so nice and made coming/going very easy & welcoming. I would definitely stay here for vacation, but for business purposes, they made my stay very easy as I was constantly on the go for work. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn!

Sandra: This hotel was amazing. The location is perfect to be able to walk everywhere in DC if you want to see the monuments and all the museums. There is a Starbucks across the street and a breakfast bagel too. The staff is super nice and helpful and the room is big and very clean. The bar and restaurant have great food and places to seat. I am coming back!

Bradley Cellier: Clean property with good restaurant and friendly/competent staff-Nitporn in the restaurant was especially exceptional. Front desk staff seamlessly handled two separate reservations during the same stay without confusion or hiccups - I think Victoria made this happen, so thank you. The property could use lounging and/or more open space to relax. There is no place to sit besides in your hotel room or in the restaurant (and only when open). Room size was OK for a downtown property, and of course parking was quite expensive. Overall - very satisfied because of the cleanliness and staff.

Alicia French: Beautiful house in a great location. Our bed was comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. We will be staying there again.

Magen Cox: My husband and I live only 40 minutes from the Swann House but planned a weekend getaway from our usual schedule. Once we were settled in, it really felt like we were in a completely different world! The rooms are beautiful and very quiet. Every single detail has been well thought out and perfectly executed. Our breakfast was amazing and our conversations with Leslie were so enjoyable. She really made sure we had everything we needed and more. We hope to have many more visits at the Swann House!

Megan Pyles: The Swann House exceeded my expectations! We visited DC for my fiances birthday weekend and wanted a unique and beautiful location to stay. The lemonade upon check-in and the pastries in our room with a Happy Birthday note on the nightstand was just amazing! The 1st floor sitting room was so cozy while sipping tea and enjoying the architecture. Breakfast in the morning was elegant, delicious and filling. Thank you Swann House for a memorable stay!

steven crawford: Leslie who served us breakfast each day was amazing and a gem to the house. Friendly service with a great location to walk to bars and food, great biking to all the sites. Fav rooms are duomo, milano, green after touring. Very historic and charming. Thanks swann house

Amarillo Doe: As mentioned by another reviewer, any one that has frequented Bed and Breakfasts before would not be impressed with this place. The outside is definitely charming, but that was the best part of it. I could go in about the awkward bed, or the person that was drilling into the wall in the next room over (I mean that literally. They were using power tools and we did not get a heads up...), the somewhat tacky furniture, having to lock up a gate every time we came in or left, a bland breakfast with very few options, a stereotypical wine and cheese hour... also bland... but what concerns me the most is when the employees say they arent happy there because the owner is very rarely seen and does not do anything to improve the quality of the establishment no matter how many negative reviews they receive! When an employee has to vent to guests because it is that bad and the employer refuses to listen, there is most certainly a serious problem. The only reason I would not give 0 stars review is solely because this wonderful staff member is such a hard worker and a seriously mistreated. She works as a mechanic, plumber, cook, house keeper, concierge, and front desk receptionist! She should be the real owner of this place, but luckily she informed me she has some job interviews coming up and I wish her the best of luck! She definitely deserves better than a mediocre wannabe bnb.

j: Highly Recommend! We did extensive research for a special and memorable location to host our private wedding. The Swann House was the perfect choice. Not only was the house beautiful and easily assessable, it was conveniently located to a number of different attractions within the city. We expected it to be a nice place to stay with feather beds and luxury towels, however, we weren’t expecting the treatment we received by the staff. They went above and beyond anything they were expected to do to ensure that our wedding day/weekend was everything we had dreamed it would be. Every detail was handled with care and a genuine concern to make it special. From the moment Indira greeted us, the stress of the day melted as she took over and calmed our anxiety about getting the day right. Sashi cared for our every need and pampered us to no end treating us more like family she hadn’t seen in ages. We came with the intention of having a beautiful wedding and one time stay but we left wanting to make this a regular place to stay when we are in the city. Hotels cannot compare to the atmosphere you get at The Swann House. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend.

Hotel Hive: what do users think?

Jennifer Cordero: Perfect for a short stay with a small party of people. The atmosphere is warm, fun, cozy, and comfortable. I LOVE the decor. The Hive exemplifies efficient use of space, and accommodations are readily available. Carlos was a big help for us and went above and beyond expectations, bringing us a compact mini fridge directly to our room to keep some leftovers in when we asked if we could store our food anywhere. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and the drinks are top notch. The bartender we had was awesome and I wish I got her name. I intend to stay here any time I visit DC because I loved everything about it. Can’t recommend it enough!

Leigh Jacobs: Highly recommend staying here! 11/10! Great location, staff is so nice and accommodating. Coffee, pizza, bar and rooftop onsite (what more could you ask for). Room was spacious enough and clean! Brooke was so helpful and recommended local restaurants. Walking distance to Georgetown, Washington monument and much more. Only micro feel I got was from the elevator- if you are claustrophobic take the the stairs ha! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a great stay.

robert whitmore: Huge Disappointment. Stayed Thur 5/12 - Mon 5/15. Reception area tiny and had to wait outside since there was no room in the lobby to wait and we were told we could not wait in the bar area. The bar is the worst - no brand names at all from Makers Mark down to Coke products. One person working the bar that was nearly full. The room was small, bathroom tiny, no iron, no coffee maker and not even a closet - instead a hook on the wall with 2 hangers and a box to put things in and roll under the bed. I hung my tux on the shower wall. Walls are paper thin and you could hear the next door guests. The only food at all was at the adjacent pizza place, The hotel is not close at all to any other restaurants.. We order on Sunday and we were told only 2 types (out of the many on the menu) were available- plain and white and absolutely no toppings. They were bland and room temperature. There is NOTHING boutique about this hotel.

Woody Coley: Style and visual interest does not have to be expensive. Well conceived boutique property with touches missed in larger hotels. Compact, but functional rooms. Perfect location. Active rooftop, look forward to the elevator ride!

Maria Jose Valero: The hotel was more than expected! Very practical, sparkling clean, parking just a couple blocks away for 24$, and the staff was amazing! They give us great recommendations of places to eat and visit. Also don’t forget to visit the bar and eat some pizza! We got the jalapeño Margarita and a rum punch with maverick and American honey Pizzas and we’re amazed!

Alec Augustine-Marceil: Very good rooms if you are traveling solo, and need to be downtown. The bar is nice and the staff are happier than the average front desk people. Would stay again.

The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection: what do users think?

Alok Sinha: Had a wonderful stay here for 6 days. The room was big and clean. The staff were friendly throughout the stay. The doormen were very nice always quickly chatting with us and opening the doors for us. There was coffee and tea available for free every morning which was a big plus. The main advantage to this hotel is how central to the city it is. It is only a few minutes walk to the white house and also several great restaurants. It is on the same block as a red line train station which made it super easy to get around the city. Would highly recommend staying here it you are in Washington D.C and want to easily take public transportation to all the landmarks of the city.

Christine: It’s the last night of my week long stay at the Mayflower Hotel & it is by far the most immaculate, comfortable yet not sterile space loaded with amenities & hospitality driven employees. Beautiful, rich feeling, spacious rooms… with great water pressure. I upgraded on Friday night & saved $10/night to have a 3 room “suite” so make sure you are getting those weekend savings! Please take care of your bellhops, door men, bartenders, all of the good people with tips large or small proving it’s the appreciation that truly matters and in return they go out of their way to make sure you feel like your a rockstar. Good food, rather small selection at restaurant/bar, but it gets a bit pricey & so does parking.

Ukvayat Hanak: A building infused with elegance and beauty that captivates and relaxes the weary traveler. Service was polite and helpful every time. The beds comfy, temperature controls great, and rooms spacious for a crowded DC area. Only had two issues: an excessive amount of pubic hair left uncleaned behind the toilet area and some of the furniture/carpet needed a good cleaning to bring it to tip top shape. Everything else was outstanding.

Anne Marie Smith: The Mayflower is a beautiful hotel. The room was not large, but it was very comfortable, with one exception. The desk chair was very low and had a cushion that sank you even lower. If I had needed to do a lot of computer work, I would have had to request a different chair. As it was, I was in a meeting all day so it was workable. The thing I liked the best was the ability to control the fan. I am a light sleeper so it was wonderful to be able to turn the fan to stay on continuously instead of having the on and off that you get with an auto setting. I was not bothered by noise at all...a big win.

Hampus Engstroem: Definitely enjoyed my stay at this hotel, definitely high-end and the service was excellent! The only criticism I have was during the first night I was in a room that had an AC duct right outside the window going up the wall, it was so loud that it sounded as if there was a jet engine sitting right outside my window. Barely slept that first night. The next day I talked to the front desk about it and they promptly switched me to a new room without any issue. Definitely top tier service!

Tasneem Jama: I would have to say one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the beginning of check in, the room that was originally assigned to me had an issue with flickering lights. The reception immediately checked to see if there was another room and switch me out to another no questions asked. The bedding is so comfortable, all I wanted to do was sleep in all day. Housekeeping were very friendly and cleaned very thoroughly. The location was fantastic, it was close to everything, sometimes even walking distance. They provide complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings in front of the lobby until 10:30am and as a coffee addict, it was good enough to drink as the first cup of coffee. Connected to the hotel, is this little all day breakfast that serves amazing breakfast. I would definitely not hesitate to book Mayflower!!!

Charlie Edwards: Would recommend. Stayed here two nights for a work convention held in the meeting rooms of the hotel. Nice room, spacious, up-to-date and well maintained fixtures and decor. The meeting rooms were good for our convention of maybe 200-300 people.

Eaton DC: what do users think?

Georgia Thomas: This was our first visit to Washington D.C, and the first stay for our wife and I at the Eaton. Was overall extremely dissatisfied with our stay. We were required to show proof of vaccination to stay which we were fine with, but were troubled to see that anyone can come into the hotel to use the rooftop bar/lounge without showing proof of vaccination. Due to the traffic of non guests visiting the rooftop bar/lounge we had to wait lengthy periods of time to use the elevator to get up to our room with individuals wearing no masks that were highly intoxicated. We were on the top floor so could hear music from the bar/lounge well into the night. The room was adequate although mini bar that was advertised in every room was not in our room. The bathroom was inadequate due to the poor plumbing system, meant standing in inches of water while we showered. Our mini fridge was warm to the touch so could not keep any drinks we brought up cold. If you plan to pay for self parking on the weekend, the hotel only has two keys to get to the underground parking garage and the key must be returned as soon as you get your vehicle out, so only plan to leave your car there and not be able to access it again until you leave. With the package we chose, we were supposed to receive certain items and did not, after speaking with hotel staff were given a small discount of $40.00. We were happy that we were able to bring our small dog with us, but overall dissatisfied with our stay, will be choosing a different hotel in D.C for our next stay. If you enjoy partying and drinking then this is the hotel for you! Otherwise, make sure to look around!

Anastasiya Zolotova: I absolutely love the Eaton hotel. It was cozy, it was intentional, and it was clean. Everything I need for a weekend getaway. I loved everything the hotel had to offer from the delicious Michele’s restaurant to the sexy speakeasy Allegory down to the record player in my room. The rooms are so nice and I really enjoyed my stay here. I will be back!

Cheryse Lawrence: Absolutely LOVED everything about this hotel! Cassandra at the front desk was an absolute treasure ❤️. The atmosphere was beautiful. The record player, records and books (!) in my room were the absolute best. The valet service was awesome. ALL of the food was awesome. The rooftop bar was super lit. We enjoyed partying with Issa Rae. Will 100% stay here again.

Sherry Dzinoreva: Great decor. Lovely concept. However if they spent as much time on quality of service, they would be deserving of the 4.5 star rating that I’ve seen on some sites. In one week my room was not serviced properly once, with trash still left around my room, the bathroom utensils replaced only once. No coffee, tea or water available in the room, so you have to stock up on your own. The record player and vinyl in the rooms are amazing but the record player didn’t work. The rooftop turns into the club on Friday night and guests essentially share the same elevator as partygoers who stand in a line to get in. If you’re looking for a trendy hotel for trend sake with easy access to party, this is the place for you. Otherwise I’d suggest thinking twice.

Fluid Friday: This place is amazing! The vibe is unmatched. I was in DC for a wedding and this hotel had a certain amount of rooms on hold for the wedding so my partner and I stayed here! So many things to do here and epitome of black culture. They even have a radio station! I WILL BE BACK!

Dan Saunders: Great hotel well located to the Walter Washington conference centre. Staff were nice and attentive and followed COVID protocols strictly. The room was a nice size and included a record player. I listened to the record player more than watching the TV.

Taryn H: Great energy, spacious rooms. The front desk staff was top notch. I will be back. Some of my favorite things, the windows open in each room, great view, rooftop bar. Took off a star because despite the rooms being beautiful they were also very dusty.

pelumi olaleye: First time visiting. The first thing I appreciated about this hotel was the location. It’s minutes away from literally everything you can possibly see in D.C. the 2nd was the customer service, everyone at the front desk were helpful and attentive. The 2 things I dislike the most were the small size of the rooms. For 2 people, I highly recommend a king size or larger. The queen size bedrooms were a bit too small for me. The second is the customer service line on the website because it connects you to someone other than the front desk of the actual hotel. I will definitely return. I highly recommend.

Pinar Ozcan: Good experience. Clean room and comfy bed. They offer free coffee and tea to hotel guests in the morning. Check out is at 11:00. Nice lobby where I could work while I was waiting to leave for my Amtrak train that was scheduled later in the afternoon.

Conrad Washington, DC: what do users think?

Darsh Mirchandani: I stayed at the Conrad DC for a weekend and I was thoroughly impressed. When I first arrived the valet, bellhop and the check in staff were all extremely friendly, and professional. They made me and my family feel extremely welcome. At check in the staff recognized my Diamond status and gave me a room on a high floor with a beautiful view of the park. When we first arrived, there were minor issues but Rebekah Roberts (hands down the best staff member we encountered) was extremely helpful. The room and hotel were clean, modern, and spacious . I will definitely not hesitate to stay at the Conrad the next time I’m visiting DC.

Mike Finn: This is our very first time staying here. Lovely customer service, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a corner room it was really nice. Bathrooms are literally stunning. The lotion and soaps are of top quality. The gym was awesome no one there and pretty good size for hotel gym——Oh yea the estuary is incredible food, order up or sit in - they do require mask in common areas and upon walking in to check in….. I didn’t have a mask on the front desk person gently politely offered me a mask…… I mentioned to my wife how nice he was … having had very rude experiences in this matter this was a welcomed attitude. If I could give this hotel 10 stars ⭐️ I’d do it. We plan to look for a reason to stay here in the future 😀👍🏾

Gabriella WOWITSGOLDIE: This is our second time staying here. Lovely customer service, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are literally stunning. The lotion and soaps are of top quality I always ask for extra to take some home!! The housekeeping goes above and beyond. Anytime we are in town we will be staying here ! Highly recommend ! 5 stars. Oh yea the estuary is incredible food, order up!

Aaron: I stayed at the Conrad on a rewards stay and was very impressed. The staff was friendly and courteous, even in the midst staff shortages due to pandemic & a snowstorm. The location was easy to find and made walking to sights do-able. The rooms are luxuriously modern and spacious. They included accent lighting with bedside controls, elegant bathroom design, Nespresso machine, closet space, floor to ceiling windows with automatic curtains, insulation from the noise below, and great views. I really enjoyed the spending credit as a Diamond Member, which I used at the restaurant. It was great dining on the terrace, even in the winter. I look forward to staying at a Conrad hotel again in the future.

Mohammad “Mo” Mumtaz: Went to celebrate my anniversary and we had the most incredible experience. Jeremy at the front desk went above and beyond during our check in and through out our stay. Such amazing customer service and thoughtful attention to help us feel special and taken care of. Our room was clean and super comfortable! We had a gorgeous view of the city! Dinner at the on-site restaurant was also amazing! Our server, Ryan, knew the menu inside out and made lots of recommendations to help us decide on what we wanted! Super attentive throughout our meal! We had such a memorable experience and will definitely be back again ASAP! Highly recommend! ;)

Chris: Our room was very nice with a comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Very modern room. We had a room directly over the street on the 7th floor and found it very loud. The bath towels were very thin and scratchy, not something I expected from a 5 star hotel. Although the shower is quite large, the “rainfall” shower head was small and had poor pressure. Our breakfasts at Estuary were very good, and the service was great. I am a Diamond member and was not given an upgrade despite rooms showing available on the app. Essentially all monuments and museums are within walking distance of the hotel, which was very convenient. Overall an okay stay, though not sure I would return to this hotel.

Christine Malloy: We’ve stayed at the Conrad and have had great experiences. This trip we needed a few assists with our activities. The Concierge- Jeffrey Morgan was beyond helpful, enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable professional. Mr. Morgan helped us with tickets, reservations and all with ease and smile. There were a few minor improvements/suggestions mostly focused around replenishment from housekeeping (glasses etc). But when asked - they were extremely attentive.

Blvknative: This is by far the best hotel and hotel experience I’ve had in DC! The room was fine to perfection. Very spacious for a hotel room. Comes with a couch and a desk. They have this club called the Sakura Club, you have to book a special in order to get it! A little pricey but you’re definitely paying for all of the experience nonetheless! But the club comes with breakfast and dinner and comes with drinks and refreshments as long as you’re booked to that room! Hands down the best! The best views of the city and they have a really nice roof top! Right in the heart of City Center!

Hotel Zena, a Viceroy Urban Retreat: what do users think?

dominique mackey: Stayed this weekend and this is a fabulous hotel. The service, the location the people who work there really made my stay amazing. And when I needed an extra night because of a car issue they easily and quickly accommodated me and price matched to a nearby hotel I was going to check into after I had already checked out of their hotel. The Decor was amazing, the design I mean it all was great and made my Instagram very popular for the weekend. Definitely will get my business again and would recommend.

Madison Nickischer: The rooms here are very nice. I stayed in the queen room and it was very nice and very clean. The only reason I docked a star was because there was an unexpected deposit of $375. When I reserved my room online, there was nothing at all that mentioned having to do that. Also their “deal” online of stay two nights and get your third free was totally a scam. My third night was “free” but the other two nights were charged $60 more a night.. so basically it wasn’t free at all. When I went to get the $375 dollars back (with my parking fee taken out) I got $100 less than expected. It was yet another “guest fee” taken out. That whole process was uncomfortable considering I wasn’t informed of any of the “deposits” and other “fees” that they just took. But other than that the rooms were very nice and the parking staff was very friendly.

N Ervin: Fantastic Stay!! I stayed at Hotel Zena while in town on business and was absolutely In Love with this Hotel! From the time I arrived, the valet, “O”, was FANTASTIC!!! The lovely young lady who checked myself and my co-workers in was wonderfully helpful and took great care of us! My room was a true delight, designed gorgeously and I still cannot get over the beautifully designed shower graced with Lady Liberty. I also have to celebrate “Princess”, the bartender…such wonderful customer service! While my stay was for business, it was truly delightful to return to the Hotel Zena be greeted with wonderful customer service and to enjoy the tranquil beauty and comfort of my room. From the phenomenal lobby, to the beautiful roof top bar, to the moment Million, the valet, helped me to my car upon my departure, the Hotel Zena was truly a fantastic experience! I highly recommend others to stay at this fabulous hotel! Cheers and thanks to the Reception, Valet and Bar (Princess and the lovely lady on the rooftop on Friday) staff that worked 11/17/21-11/20/21! You ALL need raises!!

Basana A.: I only had the opportunity to stay 2 nights, but my experience was everything I could have hoped for and more. The front desk staff was very friendly from the time I first checked in and was very helpful in recommending wonderful restaurants in the area. I especially enjoyed the modern decor and female empowerment theme of the hotel. And after a long flight, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and allowed for a great nights sleep. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in DC.

Didi: This is for the rooftop restaurant, and is located in what appeared to be a nice female owned hotel. The drinks were ok, the view great, the music was a hodgepodge of super loud and elevator as far as volume, food/nosh options not worth pictures and the service was meh. Nice view and location, efficient reservation and check-in process, but seating was not coordinated. I would say go for a drink or two, take a picture and be on to the next place, but worth a stop.

YOTEL Washington DC: what do users think?

Cherelle: Cleanliness has always been my biggest priority and this hotel surpassed my expectations. My room was absolutely pristine. The house keeping staff deserves many praises. The lighting details in the rooms were amazing. Mood settings. I was a peace. The vending machines had lots of variety with great choices, but the restaurant was phenomenal! I ate amazing meals each morning. The ambiance down to the music and decor were perfect. The staff was so friendly from the receptionist, valet drivers, and everyone else. Each person I past by spoke and was friendly. I think this has to be one of my best hotel experiences by far because the customer service was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Reva Slone: This hotel is amazing! It is steps from the Capitol and has a modern tech aesthetic. I recently stayed 3 nights with a group of 48 students. We had some charter bus issues and needed a place to stow luggage from checkout until about 8 PM. The entire staff went out of their way with their kindness and hospitality allowing our group not only to stow luggage in their conference area but also to rest from the day’s adventures, order food, play video games, and make ourselves at home. If you are looking for a clean, convenient, modern, well operated hotel near the National Mall, do yourself a favor and book this one! You will not be disappointed.

Miranda Brown: The aesthetic of the room really made this worth it. The parking garage (which is a surprise $50 a night) is VERY tight. The room wasn’t large. Lights for bathroom, bedroom, and sink are linked so they will all turn on, or all turn off. No privacy for the toilet and shower so you better be comfortable with your sleeping buddy. Lastly, there was no microwave neither in the room, nor the lobby. Overall, Great area! Cute room! It’s got it’s pros and cons but we enjoyed our stay.

Naba Siddiq: I was weary with some of the mixed reviews but I stayed here while attending a conference across the street and I was very impressed! The cleanliness was GREAT. My room was sparkling clean in every corner and crevice. Love the technology in the rooms where you can control the lights and adjust the bed. Loved the mirrors, the sink, shower and everything in between. Very modern and l loved the ambience the “relax” mode of the lights give! The bed is huge and very comfy and there are charging stations built into the bed and reading lights on both sides of the bed. A mirror above the bed and a full body mirror next to the sink. Huge TV built into the wall that’s also backlit so once again, the ambience is amazing especially at night time. The room cleaning service is top notch. My room would be ready brand new for me every day and they even went above and beyond to make sure all my things (that I had messily thrown around including my shoes) were in order and perfectly aligned and organized for me each time I came back to my room. Love the huge comfy pillows and everything worked great with no issues! The coffee bar in the hall is also a vibe. The only con is the walls aren’t too sound proof so you can hear people around you if they’re loud enough but that’s a small con to me. If I visit any place that has an option to stay at a YOTEL again, I’m taking it!

Lindsay Knudsen: Modern, sleek, and most importantly- clean! I am always wary of trying new hotels but I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Not only were the staff so incredibly friendly, but the rooms and lobby are nice too and clean. The pool was a nice touch, clean with an attached bar. Overall, very happy with the facility.

Niya: I actually enjoyed my stay here. Whether you have a regular room or a suite the rooms are very nice and spacious. They have LED lights great for gen z lmao. And their staff in my opinion is very nice and helpful. I will say the request for an extra towel might take a little bit of time but they come.. eventually.

Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Terrie Jeschke: I am giving a 5 because I have given lesser places a 5. It is very luxurious and the staff is superbly courteous without being stuffy. It was immaculate. We had a king deluxe and the bathroom was amazing. Linens were luxurious. The food was delicious and the pig roast on Thursday night at $32/plate was a bargain. They would box up what you could not eat and let you take it with you. I did not use the spa or pool areas. The only criticism I have is that there was no little store in which you could pick up drinks or snacks to have in your room. There was a refrigerator which housed some drinks/snacks before but they had been removed. So, in the evening, your only option was room service and to get a cup of coffee and a few cookies took close to an hour......plus a tip. There is no place within walking distance to pick up such items either. If you are used to those things in the evening or have small children, bring it with you.

Y. Lee: First time staying here and definitely won’t be my last time. The service was like no other! SUPERB! I can’t believe their is still service like this out there. Every single employee we ran into was amazing. I’m blown by the service. The rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel itself is very classy and comfortable. The food surpasses my expectations for hotel food and my kids loves their breakfast. The location was perfect because it was close to everything, but far enough from the crowd to keep the atmosphere intimate. The hotel is very kid friendly as well being that it’s an upscale hotel, so don’t be intimidated if you have kids and would like to stay here.

Sophia Usmani: Wow!! First class service all the way! We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been exceptional. But this time, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. In particular, Ignacio (the restaurant manager) took amazing care of us. My son has severe food allergies. Ignacio went out of his way to make sure my son could eat safely. I am so grateful for Ignacio and the restaurant team. A truly wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so wonderful.

Brandon Hutchinson: I stayed for two nights while in town for a concert. The room was great, it came with a comfortable bed, clean sheets, and an incredible view. The bathroom was really delightful with a grand bathtub and a walk-in shower. While staying here, I used the pool located in the spa, and while I enjoyed it on a quieter day of the week, I could see the pool area becoming very loud on a busier day. I had room service the second night, the service was very good, and so was the food. Very efficient, and on time to the minute of their estimated time I was given when I placed the order. Finally for my pros list is the location, you’re just South of the mall right at the Washington Monument. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from me was due to state of some of the public spaces. The lobby had a few water spot damage areas on the ceiling, and all the air vents had a ton of dust build up around them.

Lydsweet25 Sweet: I treated myself to a spa day for my birthday. Andrew, my masseuse was wonderful. Really did a great job on working on my aches. Tonya who did my facial was amazing as well. I was surprised that the facial did not include extracting however. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant as well. One in particular (did not catch her name) went over and beyond to make me feel special. She even sang happy birthday to me and offered a complimentary glass of champagne. Even though I cannot treat myself often to the Mandarin, I had a truly an amazing time. I felt so relaxed and special I highly recommend coming here for a spa day.

Jon Shalala: Beautiful hotel, the hotel staff hustles! They try to go above and beyond. The bottle water is complementary and it’s really good. You definitely pay a premium but if you’re looking for 5 star service this is a great spot. My girlfriend loved the hotel. The hot chocolate at the bar is great.

Joy Bai: We enjoyed three nights stay in December. Our room was a double queen on floor 7 with a river view, very quiet and spacious. The hotel is beautifully decorated and super clean. The staff are warm and make you feel at home. Justin at the front desk made sure our stay is comfortable. Overall my family had a memorable time.

Brandon Nichols: Stayed here for our Honeymoon, and were treated like VIPs from the moment we walked through the door. We spent our days visiting the Smithsonian and came back in the evening to enjoy a drink from the bar while sitting in the garden area. Our room looked over the water and could see the Jefferson memorial. Used the concierge for information and recommendations regularly, but on the night I explained how we wanted something as our nice evening out and what we were hoping he took care of everything and planned a night out for my spouse and I. They arranged dinner, tickets to a show and even provided us with one of the hotels limousines to drive us for the evening as a wedding gift from the hotel.

citizenM Washington DC hotel: what do users think?

Joseph Wight: Wasn’t sure at first… Check in process was hassle free, loved that I could do it myself, not much available to help bring heavy/large luggage around but I managed. Room was smaller than I thought with an unorthodox style but the bed was massive and incredibly comfortable. Loved the fluffy pillows and the tablet being able to operate absolutely everything. The different cool soaps, tap water is safe to drink, then when I asked for cleaning, they weren’t sure when they’d get to it… then did it within hours which was a pleasant surprise. Modern, elegant, and hotel of the future… would stay again!

sierra hall: I loved my time here at the CitizenM. The decor was amazing and the cleanliness of the rooms were even better. Our check in went well and it was very easy. The showers are amazing and the bed is so comfy. The bar was my boyfriend and I favorite spot to hang out, the bartenders were lovely and we even made cool with the manager at the bar! She made us some awesome drinks. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking situation. You have to find random parking on the street. However, the hotel was so nice that it outweighed that burden of finding parking. Overall, I loved my experience the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Radhika Somthankar: The rooms are very small, but white, crisp and clean. Good for a couple. The staff is helpful. Amazing lounge and common area. The kitchen is great. Close to the national mall which was very convenient. Could be better - we came by a red eye and found doors locked, there is a way to contact someone from outside but having this in checkin instructions would be great. We were sleepy and tired and closed doors caused some panic. You can hear everything from the bathrooms in the room, so some sound proofing would be good.

Blvknative: For my first time coming to this hotel, I truly didn’t know what to expect, but the citizenM definitely was more than I expected, comfy room with the bed pressed up against the window. They have these big shades, Night time and Day time. Which I thought was pretty cool. Being able to change the lighting in the room was fancy! Definitely set the mood for the night! Being able to control everything from the iPad in the room was amazing!Cool bar in the lobby. Only thing that threw me off was them charging for late checkout but either than that! I really liked this place and would totally stay again.

Richard Hardy: This hotel is amazing. Great location, compact room but with a very modern theme. For me though, it was the staff. All of them went above and beyond for me, no matter the question or time of day, with excellent local food recommendations and how to get in to a sold out museum 😊 Only thing I would ask is for my next stay, have more vegetarian food options, this is something I struggle with in the USA and I believe it would help you stand out even more.
