Hotel Madera: what do users think?

Chris Robbins: Excellent! The front desk staff, valet, and housekeepers were all extremely friendly and accommodating. My wife, dog and I recently stayed 4 nights and had a great time. Hotel was Very clean, spacious and modern. The balcony room is a must have in my opinion and it didn’t disappoint. The area is really nice and has plenty of walkable spots for food, coffee, etc. Firefly has an eclectic brunch menu and they have great bar tenders as well. The only negative I could possibly share would be the water pressure but with multiple settings for the shower it was fine. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have an amazing guest experience with a high standard for cleanliness in the nation’s capital.

Mollie Christou: This hotel was immaculate! My husband and I went down for New Years and it was spacious and comfortable in the room. Food at the Firefly was delicious during brunch and the staff was so sweet and helpful! E was the door man and valet and he was so nice and courteous! I plan on coming here in the future for all our adult get aways!

H P: The hotel staff was warm and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, with high-end finishes and gorgeous scenery! The beds were very comfortable and the shower was so nice. We enjoyed and made use of the desk and chair. And the best part was the access to chrome cast!! So, we got to watch a couple of our favorite shows :) And finally, when the valet had a little incident while bringing our car around, the hotel manager removed our parking charges as compensation for the incident. So, we were grateful for that. On our second night we were next to a group of rowdy young adults. They were so loud for so long, that we had a hard time enjoying ourselves. I just wished the walls were better sound-proofed at that moment. Finally, the valet unfortunately accrued a ticket on the car for a minor moving violation, which of course the hotel offered to cover, but we were worried about having points assessed to the car. Incidents like this happen in a city, so we understood. And the hotel staff graciously, removed the costs of parking, which we appreciated. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The customer service alone is worth it to me!

Donna Bates: Recently stayed at Hotel Madera and had a great time celebrating our anniversary with my hubby. The room was modern, big and comfortable. The staff was amazing especially ICE and Deja. These two ladies were very attentive to our needs and definitely love what they are doing. Kudos to them and for the excellent customer service. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lynn Capella: I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hotel Madera. The hotel is in a perfect location and close to the metro and fantastic restaurants. The staff was welcoming from the minute I checked in until the minute I checked out. The hotel itself is extremely clean and room was large, stylish and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here and hope I can visit there again in the future.

Jennifer Whitson: Loved this hotel! Very clean, large rooms and bathrooms, great location not too far from metro, friendly staff who always welcomed us as we came back “home”, comfortable beds, and quiet. We will definitely choose Hotel Madera when we return to D.C.

HighRoad Hotel Washington DC: what do users think?

Simon Cardenas: Friendly staff, good location, beds are okay. Im definitely staying here if I come back

Nora: I’ve been here last February before the pandemic and I really enjoyed staying here the price so convenient and the staff were so nice and friendly they made sure that I get whatever I needed and they were so helpful and happy to help I honestly felt like home here and this is the only hostel I like among all hostels I’ve been at. Back then they served breakfast every day and there were some activities every week. Somehow everyone I met there was lovely and friendly we had so fun hearing each other stories and future plans. I’m so thankful for this experience. Also about the location it’s so nice there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the area almost one block away. I highly recommend it.

Ellen SC: Such a lovely hostel. Was made to feel so welcome, like I was coming home. Beds were comfy and hostel was quiet enough to get a good nights sleep but also lots of social areas. Would definitely recommend!

Emily Wakwe: Surprisingly excellent! 👏🏾 Only request is that mirrors or a mirror needs to be in the room.

Lauren: Loved my stay at this hostel. The location is beautiful in a very lively neighborhood. A 5min walk gets you to the bus stop. It’s about a 20 min ride to the national mall and DCA. Spacious and clean rooms. The beds were comfortable although very squeaky. I had a room on the third floor and had the bathroom to my self every morning. Very friendly staff. Went out Saturday night with people from the hostel and had an incredible time. If you’re a solo traveler going to DC and thinking about booking any kind of accommodation I recommend this hostel.

Camryn King: My stay was AMAZING! the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! All of the general areas, bathrooms, and my room was extremely clean and up to par. I really really loved staying here. I would suggest to anyone who may think about staying in a bigger room with more beds that your privacy may be worth the little extra fees. I stayed in a 14 bed mixed gender room and I don’t have any complaints, I just think I would prefer a more expensive room next time for more privacy 😊

Jeff Martin: This hostel is awesome! I’m a teacher, I brought 15 students here. The staff was incredibly responsive, helpful, prompt, and professional in advance of arrival. We were greeted by staff and shown to our rooms in a very welcoming manor. They were nice to me and my students. The showers are clean. the beds are very very comfortable and do not squeak when you turn over in them. The vide is hip and fun. The location is in the heart of the fun to be had in Adams Morgan. I will definitely recommend this hostel to others and will definitely plan to come back (without students) to have fun with this hostel as my home base!

Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Terrie Jeschke: I am giving a 5 because I have given lesser places a 5. It is very luxurious and the staff is superbly courteous without being stuffy. It was immaculate. We had a king deluxe and the bathroom was amazing. Linens were luxurious. The food was delicious and the pig roast on Thursday night at $32/plate was a bargain. They would box up what you could not eat and let you take it with you. I did not use the spa or pool areas. The only criticism I have is that there was no little store in which you could pick up drinks or snacks to have in your room. There was a refrigerator which housed some drinks/snacks before but they had been removed. So, in the evening, your only option was room service and to get a cup of coffee and a few cookies took close to an hour......plus a tip. There is no place within walking distance to pick up such items either. If you are used to those things in the evening or have small children, bring it with you.

Y. Lee: First time staying here and definitely won’t be my last time. The service was like no other! SUPERB! I can’t believe their is still service like this out there. Every single employee we ran into was amazing. I’m blown by the service. The rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel itself is very classy and comfortable. The food surpasses my expectations for hotel food and my kids loves their breakfast. The location was perfect because it was close to everything, but far enough from the crowd to keep the atmosphere intimate. The hotel is very kid friendly as well being that it’s an upscale hotel, so don’t be intimidated if you have kids and would like to stay here.

Sophia Usmani: Wow!! First class service all the way! We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been exceptional. But this time, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. In particular, Ignacio (the restaurant manager) took amazing care of us. My son has severe food allergies. Ignacio went out of his way to make sure my son could eat safely. I am so grateful for Ignacio and the restaurant team. A truly wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so wonderful.

Brandon Hutchinson: I stayed for two nights while in town for a concert. The room was great, it came with a comfortable bed, clean sheets, and an incredible view. The bathroom was really delightful with a grand bathtub and a walk-in shower. While staying here, I used the pool located in the spa, and while I enjoyed it on a quieter day of the week, I could see the pool area becoming very loud on a busier day. I had room service the second night, the service was very good, and so was the food. Very efficient, and on time to the minute of their estimated time I was given when I placed the order. Finally for my pros list is the location, you’re just South of the mall right at the Washington Monument. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from me was due to state of some of the public spaces. The lobby had a few water spot damage areas on the ceiling, and all the air vents had a ton of dust build up around them.

Lydsweet25 Sweet: I treated myself to a spa day for my birthday. Andrew, my masseuse was wonderful. Really did a great job on working on my aches. Tonya who did my facial was amazing as well. I was surprised that the facial did not include extracting however. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant as well. One in particular (did not catch her name) went over and beyond to make me feel special. She even sang happy birthday to me and offered a complimentary glass of champagne. Even though I cannot treat myself often to the Mandarin, I had a truly an amazing time. I felt so relaxed and special I highly recommend coming here for a spa day.

Jon Shalala: Beautiful hotel, the hotel staff hustles! They try to go above and beyond. The bottle water is complementary and it’s really good. You definitely pay a premium but if you’re looking for 5 star service this is a great spot. My girlfriend loved the hotel. The hot chocolate at the bar is great.

Joy Bai: We enjoyed three nights stay in December. Our room was a double queen on floor 7 with a river view, very quiet and spacious. The hotel is beautifully decorated and super clean. The staff are warm and make you feel at home. Justin at the front desk made sure our stay is comfortable. Overall my family had a memorable time.

Brandon Nichols: Stayed here for our Honeymoon, and were treated like VIPs from the moment we walked through the door. We spent our days visiting the Smithsonian and came back in the evening to enjoy a drink from the bar while sitting in the garden area. Our room looked over the water and could see the Jefferson memorial. Used the concierge for information and recommendations regularly, but on the night I explained how we wanted something as our nice evening out and what we were hoping he took care of everything and planned a night out for my spouse and I. They arranged dinner, tickets to a show and even provided us with one of the hotels limousines to drive us for the evening as a wedding gift from the hotel.

The Jefferson, Washington, DC: what do users think?

Nick C: What an amazing experience staying at the Jefferson! My wife and I got away for a few days and to celebrate the NY! We were warmly welcomed from the first minute and upgraded to a wonderful suite for our stay. The room was amazingly comfortable with all the amenities expected of a 5 star property. Breakfast was top notch at the Greenhouse. To top it off the location was great for walking the city and seeing all DC has to offer! This place lives up to its reputation! Thanks to all of the staff!

Karen Koller: The Jefferson absolutely delivered a 5 star experience. The service was outstanding and all the little touches like a tv in my bathroom mirror or a stool for my purse went above and beyond what was expected. One of the best here. They have one of the best bar and restaurants I’ve had while staying in a hotel. The Quill and the Greenhouse had wonderful food and drinks ! Service was top notch. Every single staff member went above and beyond my expectation. A must if you are staying in DC ! So many amenities and extra touches.

Thomas Whitelock: It was a great stay from start to finish. The staff was very nice and friendly and tried to make sure we had everything we needed. When we walked up with our luggage the doorman ran out and gave us bottles of cold water, it was 96 degrees that day, it was appreciated. I drank 2 bottles before I was even checked in. One thing that stood out, my wife used the extra pillow from the closet the first night we were there. The next day, house keeping put out 2 extra pillows. That was a nice touch that they noticed and made a change. The slippers were an unexpected bonus. We had room service for breakfast during our stay, one thing, the food does come faster than the estimated wait time, so be ready. I loved the lemon ricotta pancakes. It sounds like an odd combination, it is not. I am not sure it is why I gained 3 pounds, but I am sure it did not help. There are 2 areas that need improvement. The toilet paper, it is not good, it just feels cheap. Also, there is no vent fan in the bathroom and it gets really steamy in there. One is an easy fix, the other not so much.

Raj: The lobby area, the rooms, the library, the books, incredible, impeccably inviting and beautifully laid out and designed. This is the Best hotel in DC without a doubt. Just had dinner, and oh boy, that was something else. Food for sure was amazing, but service, friendliness, and good natured cool warmth of the staff, a whole other level, Katie and John were my servers, honestly, no words. Jefferson hotel is for sure the Best!

Jonathan Holloway: Our 2-night stay was excellent. The service and amenities from the entire team was great. In the restaurant, we had wonderful service from Abdel and Jorge for brunch and John in the bar. Everyone was very welcoming and provided excellent service.

Schan McLaurin: Went to the Greenhouse for breakfast! Food was amazingly delicious!! Small portion but very tasty. I spent $80 for breakfast and My husband was still hungry.

Sue Swezeny: A beautiful place. Only went for a cocktail stop. The Dreamsicle is a must have. Sweet, refreshing, and a nice jolt of vitamin C in the citrus. Yum!

Lauren Fiabane: From the time we pulled in to the time we left, the people of the Jefferson were exceptional. Katie at the bar. Susan, the historian. Yolanda at reception. Simply above and beyond service, delivered with sincerity and passion for what they do.

Marriott Vacation Club Pulse at The Mayflower, Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Andrew Tuttle: This is a very nice hotel. They have all the amenities that are necessary for a great stay. They have complementary tea and coffee in the lobby. They also have many ballrooms that host magnificent parties. When I was staying here, they were hosting the Australian Royal Air Force for some award ceremony or something. They had a party after and I could hear the music from my room on the third floor. Those kinds of things are very annoying. The rooms are very small. They also have two beds that are very small.

Ajay J Mundra: This property is very luxurious. The lobby is quite nice and the chandeliers were very nicely laid out. Additionally, the Christmas decorations was quite good. The check-in experience was good, however, the challenge was getting luggage to the room. Since there is almost hardly any parking space, getting the luggage unloaded and then separately park was car was a bit inconvenient. Regardless, the good thing is that the property did advice that we should find a parking spot in advance nearby. We used iparkit to get the parking garage for our stay. Coming back to the hotel, the room was really nice. The two queen beds were very comfortable and the wallpapers were nicely done. The room was really big and spacious. The coat room and bathroom were also quite spacious. This property is quite close to White House (walking distance) and it is convenient to take cabs to visit museums nearby. Overall, a wonderful experience with Marriott Vacation Club property.

William Collesano: Reps were very pleasant and helpful, facility was clean and well maintained, restaurant food was very good as was service. Only 1 recommendation - place or make available a coffee pot in the room. We often returned late in the evening - no nearby coffee shops or restaurants were open.

D G: Great location. Staff go out of their way to say hiwelcomegood morning. Coffee machine on our floor was broken all week. Club Pulse still closed. Makes little sense blaming covid for it since everything else is open with masks optional.

Holiday Inn Washington Capitol - Natl Mall, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Wei Y: My recent experience at the hotel in mid March was quite pleasant. The room was clean, decor was fairly up-to-date, beds were comfortable (subjectively), and the bathroom was fairly well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, this includes the cleaning crew (on the 8th floor) who would give you anything you asked for. The pandemic is not over yet, so I liked the idea of not having staff coming in every day. People complaint about the thin wall, water pressure and the train. I did experience all of the above. The thin wall didn’t bother me that much, it’s usually due to loud neighbors. For the water pressure, I just waited for the others to finish their use then take my turn, the place was packed at the time and everyone was taking shower at the same time. As for the train, the hotel unfortunately situated right next to the track so unless you are a heavy sleeper, the noises could bother some of the guests on the east side. We ended up switching to the other side and it was great! The food at the restaurant downstairs was also surprising. The taste and the price were comparable to the nearby places, if not cheaper. A Starbucks was also attached to the hotel but they do close somewhat early. As for the parking, we didn’t have a car, but once I parked at a hotel in downtown Chicago, it was over $100 a night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again for sure!

M B: This was our first time staying at this hotel and it completely served its purpose. First the location - it is across the street from the department of Education and one block from the Air & Space Museum. There is a Starbucks on the corner of the hotel and several restaurants on the same block including a McDonalds. This hotel has a parking garage under it making parking very convenient. Parking fee is charged by the hotel per day and we had in and out privileges throughout our stay. There are two restaurants inside the hotel and a small convenience store next to the front desk. The lobby is more upscale than I thought it would be and staff was nice. We got into our room the first night later in the evening and our AC wasn’t working. We called the front desk and within minutes, a maintenance worker was at our door. He changed out the wall thermostat which didn’t resolve the issue and called for assistance to bring a new AC unit. They changed that out within minutes and discovered that there must be a wiring challenge that would take more time to resolve. They contacted the front desk, got us a new room and they walked it to make sure it was in perfect working condition before bringing us the new key cards. They offered to help us move but we were fine getting ourselves to the new room. This was the only challenge we experienced during our stay and these two maintenance technicians were absolutely wonderful. We forgot to get their names but they were on duty Friday, May 20, 2022 in the late evening. Nothing is a short walk in Washington DC as buildings are huge and the distance is deceiving. Every day we walked more than 7 miles and at the end of each day I walked back to the hotel to pick up the car to pick up my Mom to keep her from having to walk back. All throughout Washington DC, there are bicycles and electric scooters available to rent electronically on the spot to make the walking shorter and to get places quicker. We didn’t use them this time but they are a great benefit if needed. We did not eat in the hotel, but it is wonderful that the restaurants were there if we wanted to. This is a pretty perfect hotel to stay in when visiting Washington DC and we will most likely stay here on our next visit and recommend that you consider it as well. We didn’t take photos of the hotel, but it was very nice, clean, comfortable beds and we felt safe.

Toni Dzinic: My wife and I had our wedding at the Ritz in their Fahrenheit Ballroom, and what a beautiful night it was! We had ~60 guests and that is about the most people I’d personally recommend for the ballroom. Liliana Klein is the person to talk to when you want to plan a wedding there and she’s such a pleasure to work with. She walked us through everything from day 1. The food was excellent, the preferred vendors were also a joy to work with. Seriously, I’ve never experienced better service at a hotel. If you’re considering having your wedding here, do it! If you’re coming here for a night or two, or just to enjoy some dinner and cocktails, you also won’t regret it. We’ll be back!

Riggs Washington DC: what do users think?

Cesar Desouza: The friendly staff is exceptional. They really care about you during your stay there. The room is comfortable, remodeled with good decor. But the bathroom is narrow, not enough for a couple to shower together. Perfect location. Close enough to all monuments and stores. The gym is well equipped and the restaurant is amazing. I recommend this hotel. Congratulations to all the staff and thank you for making my stay perfect.

Hailey Davis: We are SO happy with our stay at the Riggs. We got the Bed and Breakfast package which was so convenient so we could start the day before DC got too busy. It’s the perfect location by amazing food choices for happy hour and dinner. We walked literally everywhere, or we took the metro railway, which has a station on the same block. The employees are happy and so kind. The rooftop view is stunning. Their bartenders take their job very seriously and they are basically artists with their drinks! Thank you for an amazing stay! We will be back.

Sherry Motta: Feels decadent. Lovely decor. Good service. Reservations even for breakfast make it convenient. Would be nice to have a few more unique/specialty items on the menu to go with the decor/ambiance. For example, we ate breakfast & enjoyed little touches like the honey lavender butter. Recommend a few more things like that to make the meal different from other places to get a meal.

T & J Herzog: All around great hotel. Great location. Walking distance to all of the national sites and museums and also restaurants. Also quick walk to the convention center (we went for a volleyball tournament.)Clean and accommodating. Safe area. Fantastic customer service- especially the parking and valley service, which was extraordinarily convenient. I agree with the other comment that they treat everyone like royalty. They greet you by name as you come in and out. Highly recommend.

Claudia Lewis: The Riggs Hotel is very nice and has a speak easy type bar downstairs. It’s in a nice area of the city with access to metro and Smithsonian. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the standard rooms are very small which is not accurately reflected on its website. The staff is amazing!!!

katherine adelufosi: The rooms are beautiful. Close to a lot of the DC attractions.. What made it extra special is Tiffany from concierge . She went above and beyond to accommodate all my special request and needs. I truly thank her for her service.Staff is excellent and the food at Cafe Riggs is another highlight. I will definitely book here again in the future.

Chloe Reynolds: One of the most amazing customer services experiences I have ever had, they made us feel like royalty when we were staying one short night and came in looking like a gaggle of geese. Amazing food, and truly amazing people working there. So friendly and cute and everyone there was so happy to help and wish us a wonderful stay. Never suggesting anywhere else, this is the place!

Kelly McCarthy: Beautiful hotel. Tradition and old Washington charm surround you. Next to the White House. Built in 1918 there are so many beautiful details. Don’t miss the Famous round robin bar. Check in with seamless and the customer service was exceptional. The rooms are spotless and much of the staff has been here for generations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hugh Shoff: We spent the night here before the Easter egg roll at the white house. It was exceptional. Easy to get in everything was right up front. You do pay for a premium but due to the location it was well worth it. The room was clean and nice. We had the high tea and that was quite the experience. If you go during the Cherry blossom festival we have the option of drinking tea with the Cherry blossom cuttings and that was quite the experience. I would highly recommend this. We only had pastries and coffee from the cafe and they were good. It is a five-star hotel.

Catherine Petty: Tea was lovely!! Would recommend highly for any events you have coming up. The staff was great, very helpful and the food was delicious. Surprisingly filling for it being so small. They even offer gluten free options. The harpist was also a lovely touch - she played beautifully. Will be back, especially around Christmas time!

Fairmont Washington D.C. Georgetown: what do users think?

Iris Savoy: I went to the hotel to attend a luncheon. Everything was done professionally from the Valet to entrance into the hotel. It was clean and inviting. We were escorted to reception area, check in, and inside to the venue with professionalism from the staff. The food was excellent and presented it in order. They catered to every need that we had from a coffee, more utensils, to food options they provide. I will return.

Steph Dobson: Beautiful, well-maintained hotel. Safe and convenient location in Georgetown, about a 10-minute walk to both the Foggy Bottom and Dupont metro stops. Friendly staff and clean, quiet rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will keep in mind next time we visit DC! If you are driving, just make sure to budget for the overnight valet parking.

dionne davis: Customer service was great.. Room was awesome. The ambiance of this hotel is great for wedding. The only thing I did not care for was the chicken sausage at breakfast. Close to Rock Park

Carey Kokkonen: The hotel is lovely, clean, and fancy shmancy, but what really makes it great are the people that work there. Everyone was kind and genuine. Above that, the hotel is pet friendly AND located next to a large dog park! The location is pretty and perfectly situated — walking distance to DuPont Circle & Foggy Bottom and to Georgetown. There are enough walkable restos and coffee shops (Das Ethiopian and Bread & Chocolate are faves worth mentioning) as well as pharmacies, groceries, etc., however, walking out of the hotel, you’re not hit with a busy street and gobs of traffic. We quite enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit!

C. Pine: Best hotel in Georgetown. I love the charm of this hotel right in the heart of everything. The friendliest staff and impeccable service and luxurious accommodations while steps away from shopping and more dining options. The library/reception area is a cozy and elegant pace for a nightcap or to lounge. The rooftop offers a fantastic view of the cityscape and is a great for private functions or if you need a peaceful place to hang out.

Shana Acquisto (Luxury Realtor): Stopped in for a drink on the rooftop. Beautiful atmosphere. Drinks were pricey and honestly a bit too much sugar for our liking but some may prefer that. Very friendly staff once we got up to the rooftop and great service.

Andrew Carmichael: Amazing hotel experience in a wonderful part of DC. It’s a smaller hotel that does a stellar job of balancing the finesse of a larger hotel with the intimacy of a boutique one. The team remembers everyone’s name and does to whatever they can to make your stay a memorable one.

Mohsen: Enjoyed one week of stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect and felt personal. Fantastic staff.

Mandy Jacqueline: The Lobby Bar in the Rosewood was amazing. Great service and wonderful drinks if you’re looking for high-class

Lisa Morin: This lovely, small hotel was well located in Georgetown. The room was nice, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The service from all staff was exceptional. They attended to every detail to make our stay a great one!

Derrick Hoefsloot: Exquisite rooms, personalized service, excellent food, fantastic rooftop bar. Notable highlights include the front desk staff and Giovanni the rooftop bartender who remembered my wife’s favorite wine from a previous stay. Superb location, tons of nearby dining, shopping, the canal, and river walk. You will love it at the Rosewood Georgetown.

Kelly Smith: Great hotel. Near everything in Georgetown. Service is amazing. Nicest place in the area.

A C (sweetness10): Great for exercise and for local events! Parking is pretty good too depending on if there are other events on the same day. The staff is also very helpful!

Vivian Mercer: It was okay for the most part. Practicing social distancing made the wait time, and line longer to get food, and other amenities. But you get free toiletries, food, and clothing that comes in handy!

Tom Corcoran: This nonprofit is truly making a difference - one life @ a time. Innovative, creative!

Habib Shamte: Great work is done here for the community

Tee J: Excellent community services resource center, for children, young adults, and elderly. Please check out the various programs designed to meet the needs of our community.

Olivier Saint-Vincent: 100% recommended!! If you are looking for a 5 stars ⭐️ hôtel in DC, this is the one. It was perfectly located for us between Georgetown and the Mall (walking distance), and very quiet at the same time. Gym, pool, jacuzzi, library, breakfast are great. You can walk by the Potomac easily… and it’s one of the best rooftop in DC. The architecture is beautiful and bold. The staff is very attentive and always there to help. We can say that the new GM know how to make a stay unforgettable!!!

Adam Galazka: Absolutely stunning hotel. Amazing location by the Potomac River. Walking distance to many different stores and restaurants. Check in was great. Valet parking on site for $58 a night. Rooms are spacious and the most comfortable bed. Some rooms do have balconies with waterviews but they are a little dirty. When trying to call the front desk it took awhile for them to answer the phone. Besides a couple of those negative we would definitely come back.

josh Fried: Relaxing location right off the Dulles toll road. Within easy distance to DC without the cost of DC hotels inside the beltway. Room was clean, service was efficient and staff was polite. Shout-out to Zafar for helping me get signed in and setup quickly and efficiently.

Hamir Bharwad: Have meet many people out there, Sis from Afghanistan and Two Gentlemen at front desk. All are very nice informative and knowledgeable. Need more choices in Breakfast. Rooms are good, location is safe and very well located like Banks, Restaurants, Target, bus stops all are in walking distance

Игорь Сикорский: I have been here for a week. My room is clean and well maintained. All the staff has been extremely helpful. I would like to note that Zafar (front desk) has been extremely helpful during my stay in Reston

Maureen Jackson: Staff were beyond friendly and always smiling. Made our stay very enjoyable. Rooms were clean and so quiet. The restaurant was awesome from the breakfast to dinner. We ate a few times in restaurant and the wait staff remembered us and made it very homey. Quality of food was excellent. Never had a bad meal. Best hotel experience for us in a long time. Within easy walking distance of the mall

Lisa Van Aartsen: Service excellent, rooms clean, like the efficiency yet stylish way it is styled. Lights too bright in the bathroom and unable to decrease. Used a bath towel over the light to dim it down. Would be nice to have bottles of water in room to go with coffee maker... right? Grab and go currently for meals at the restaurant. Not much for choices. Very nice store including Starbucks coffee, very appreciative of that. Sheets very smooth, pleasant, bed comfy, could be better, could be worse. Nicely located. Will go again.

Brenda Orffer: The Hyatt Regency is a great location for easy access to capital buildings (meetings), great food and restaurants, and to DCA Airport. Right now, April 1, the hotel is not offering room service, and housekeeping is not provided unless requested. Otherwise, things seem to be all systems go. Masks are encouraged but not required. The hotel has hand sanitizer stations throughout as well. The desk and office chair in the rooms are not well matched for height. Very uncomfortable seating for a long period of time. Thankfully there is lots of lobby and social space to find a place to work more comfortably. There is a small fridge in the room, but no water is stocked in the room. You can get bottled water from front desk and valet desk if you request it.

Lainy D: I can’t describe enough how grateful I am for the attentive and kind staff and excellent rooms. I stayed here for several months and never had issues. Anything I needed help on the staff promptly took care of. The food was good and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. I so enjoyed staying here and had such an excellent experience. The front desk workers even knew my name after a while and were such a pleasure to interact with. The housekeeping staff was equally pleasant and did a great job. This is the perfect place to stay both short and long term. 11/10 :)

Kristine Habetler: The staff is absolutely amazing! Close to the bus line and metro. Dog park right across the street. Police station on the corner (felt incredibly safe). Grocery store across the street. Our room was very spacious and perfect for two adults (one disabled and traveling with a wheelchair and crutches), our 13 yo son and our 150 lb service animal. We had plenty of room. The staff is simply amazing and very friendly and accommodating.

Sophia Coren: Friendly staff and decent breakfast but they are understaffed so requests take a few hours. They also had run out of shampoo and conditioner when we stayed. Room: We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was clean, modern, and spacious. I do wish the room had come with a desk chair in addition to the normal wood chairs as I was working remotely. The kitchen did not come well stocked. Our room had one small pot and lid; one large lid but no matching pot; and several knives and forks but only one big spoon. The bathroom did not come with shampoo or conditioner because the hotel ran out (they were not resupplied before we left so we never actually got any). The shower was large and the water pressure was good. Staff: Friendly but clearly understaffed as requests took a few hours. Location: Pretty good location within walking distance of the national mall.

Celeste Swanson: All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful...especially Shaquita! The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was also fantastic! The breakfast area was super clean, and they had plenty of each food item. The pullout couch was somewhat uncomfortable, but everything else was great!

Carolyn Tomaino: Really beautiful hotel, a 1 mile walk straight down to the white house in a quaint "brownstone-like" neighborhood. Safeway with a Starbucks right across the street. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Handicapped room was a little snug but we made it work. Kitchen stovetop had a hood, which kept the smoke detector from going off when we cooked steaks for Christmas dinner. Not much parking beyond the pricey valet but they worked quickly and it was worth the price. We will be back!

TASHA HARRISON: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. If you need to be near the DC convention center, this is your spot. It is a quick like 7 min walk. It is located by great restaurants AND across the street from a grocery store, which is awesome since the hotel suites have a kitchen. The price was high but compatible with others in the area. Very nice staff. Comp breakfast was sufficient; hot and cold items. The fitness center has good equipment. I would definitely recommend. Garage parking at the hotel is $49 per day. Again about the same for other hotels. So if you dont need a car, dont bring it.

Kaitlyn Cole: Walking into the Anderson House will take your breath away. This building exudes an unparalleled feeling of opulence and historic charm. Surrounded by the grand chandeliers, marble staircase, monumental ornate frames and reflecting pool, you will feel like royalty everywhere you turn. Every corner of this exquisite wedding venue makes for a perfect photo background.

rachel robertello: Super interesting museum that works as an AMAZING wedding venue. The team is very responsive and works smoothly with all vendors to make the day run perfectly. We are so glad we found the Anderson House as an option for our wedding and that they were available.

Trevor Joyce: The Anderson House museum is one of my favorite museums in D.C. It is quiet yet packed with so many beautiful architectural details. It consists mostly of several large rooms but the entire left wing of the building is for private use and is thus not open to public visitors. The guided tours are time efficient and professional but I find it best to visit when they host events and musical performances.

Olga Crawford: The tour of the house is superb. The house looks like the Breakers.

Daniel Sweeney: Beautiful Washington DC Historic site. Very unique and pretty rooms. Outdoor space is great for events. Wedding here was great, and they hosted well.

Kelly Mattesen: Very impressive mansion! Our tour guide Stacia was amazing, funny and very knowledgeable. When this museum opens you should not miss it on your next trip! It is a hidden gem...and it is free!

Eva S: It’s a good business hotel, quiet standard, could be any brand really. Pros and cons below: PROS: Large spacious room with nice expansive views onto the main street, gets good light during the day. Comfy bed. There’s a desk to work at if need be. Nice staff at the hotel, very accommodating and caring. Very clean, good observation of covid rules etc Food served during the event was good too, tasty, good temperature- I recommend the current kitchen staff can certainly cater for breakfast too. Areas to IMPROVE: No breakfast, no pool/spa; the air in the hotel was so dry most event delegates were complaining about difficulty to sleep at night, myself included - I strongly recommend to get lots and lots of green plants, maybe install some air humidifiers for the winter months. The shower head was full of limescale - need to check those details and replace. Maybe add a picture(s) in the room, some softer interior details - interior now looks so sterile, plain

Richmond: The staff, especially Alex, was more than accommodating to our entire family. The hotel has a spirit of excellence and was polished clean! I would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay here...definitely 5 stars. Other hotels should look at this facility and mimic absolute professionalism and perfection in hospitality like The Hyatt Regency Bethesda!!

Gloria Gilmore: Nice hotel very close to venue I was attending. Actually walked from hotel. Hotel was a little hard to find but we did. They had the best concierge and the front desk was very helpful.. The best part was when we got into the elevator and did not know we had to scan our key card to get it to work, so we got off and were talking about it, an associate overhead us stopped what he was doing and took time to show us what to do.

Omar Qureshi: Recently stayed here for a school reunion. Excellent service from Alex Molina at the front desk. A very modern and clean hotel, located right next to the Bethesda Metro station and restaurants and shops on Bethesda Row. Great place to stay when visiting Washington, DC and the surrounding areas. It is definitely on my list of places to stay when I travel to the area again.
