The Capital Candy Jar: what do users think?
t mac
t mac: A nice around the corner on Capitol Hill if your into different chocolate. Just step away from the metro and bus route. Yes they serve ice cream too. A chill spot if your not doing anything and just want to get out the house and do a little exercise and want a sweet treat for you, the kids and even the your furry kids.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to write a review.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams: what do users think?
Amanda (WhatsDaHype)
Amanda (WhatsDaHype): I was pleasantly surprised when I found out Jeni’s was in walking distance after eating an early dinner in DC. The ice cream didn’t disappoint on the two visits to this location. Except for their non-dairy options and their version of cookies and cream. The non-dairy options are coconut base so the flavors advertised didn’t match the name. I tried banana pudding but it tasted like coconut ice cream. And the young lady serving me did give that disclaimer. Their cookies and cream version was not sweet at all. They use to offer samples but that’s on hold due to Covid. Their sugar cones aren’t as sweet as I prefer. They have a great crunch and a hint of salt.
Samuel M. Worthington IV
Samuel M. Worthington IV: We’ve been big fans of all good ice cream and Jeni’s is certainly one of them. Almost all of their flavors are well thought out and made well ( some more than others) and the waffle cones are great. The only reason they get 4 stars is the scoops are ridiculously small, especially for the price that you’re paying. It seems that they’re getting smaller since we’ve been going here, too
Muniba Khan
Muniba Khan: I got a single-sized waffle bowl with the salted peanut with chocolate flecks and the everything bagel seasonal flavors. Everything bagel ice cream has no business being so delicious. I really appreciate that they have some good salty flavors.
anu yadav
anu yadav: Sad they were out of the pints of caramel pecan sticky bun dairy free ice cream. It is decadent. I went in. This Jeni’s has a line around the building on Saturday nights. Like a club. I think I understand why.
Anna Baker
Anna Baker: It was decent. I had one scoop of lavender ice cream and one scoop of strawberry and cream ice cream in a waffle cone. The waffle cone was not flavorful and was very soft/almost crumbled apart. The ice cream flavors were nice but NOT good enough to justify their high price point. I’ve had much better ice cream from both mom and pop shops, as well as higher end ice cream parlors, for much less. I’m glad I gave it a try as it is always so crowded, but I definitely will not be going back.
Autumn Boyd
Autumn Boyd: We got the ice cream sampler. Best ice cream I’ve ever tasted! Flavors were all so vibrant and unique.
Amber Worthington
Amber Worthington: Best ice cream I’ve ever had. The sweet biscuits & peach jam was phenomenal & their waffle cone take it over the finish line 🏆
R Lin
R Lin: Respect to Jeni’s- they really do have splendid ice cream! I’d heard of this places a few times before so it was nice to finally try it. I love that their flavor combinations are pretty nontraditional from what you see at your run of the mill ice cream shop. And they back it up with the product actually being really yummy! My specific visit to this location was a tiny bit disappointing as I asked for several different flavors that they were out of or couldn’t serve for some reason. It was quite odd. But the workers were very nice, and along with the good ice cream I did eventually get it really mostly made up for it. Who doesn’t always want some delicious ice cream at any time of day, week or circumstance?? (if your answer is anything except “um yes always!” please keep scrolling and don’t talk to me lol)

Edible Arrangements: what do users think?
Kendra Whitaker-Shine
Kendra Whitaker-Shine: DO NOT USE THIS STORE. They absolutely need to lose their franchise license. If this store could receive negative stars, it would be negative 5. Used to be a great store but now under different ownership. They are very unresponsive and they will change your order details or delivery dates without your knowledge. I sent an order to someone in the hospital. They changed the date so I tried to cancel several times via their store and corporate, knowing that the recipient was being discharged. They attempted to deliver the order anyway and not cancel despite the fact that I told them and corporate that the recipient was no longer in the hospital. They do not care about the customers. They simply will not honor your requests or even answer the phone. Your best bet is to try another franchise elsewhere. I’m actually wondering if edible’s corporate office cares because they’ve been useless.
Response: Kendra, this experience will be thoroughly looked into. Please contact us directly at orderteam@edible.com and 1-877-363-7848 so that we can talk with you personally. Thank you for reaching out to us.
Kimlisa Russo
Kimlisa Russo: I placed an online order from out of state and was unsure of the serving size and actual amount of fruit in the arrangement I chose so I reached out to the store the morning of delivery to ask a ton of last minute questions….. The lady I spoke with was extremely helpful and took the time to answer all my questions (Really, I had a ton ) I then expressed worry about delivery time as this was being delivered to an office building …. She then asked ME what time I would prefer and when I requested lunch time (which was only 2 hours from my call) She told me she would do her best to make it happen AND SHE DID! In the end I was told the arrangement was huge and everything was delicious!!! Very positive experience and would highly recommend this location!!!!
Response: Thank you, Kimlisa! It's great to hear that you can always depend on us! We'll be sure to pass this along to our team.
Sheila Batey
Sheila Batey: I have purchased 4 arrangements in the last 3 months. Thank goodness only 1 from this location. Not only did they deliver to the wrong home, they do not answer their phone or return voicemail messages left. I have been trying to get resolution since 12/30/21. I called corporate and they were unable to reach this location. I will no longer make purchases from this company. Corporate had no resolution and is worthless as well SMH!! I sent an email 12/30/21 and this was the reply: Edible Arrangements Reference # 3448518 Still no satisfaction. I told corporate I wanted a refund but the store has to initiate that process. I was told Monday I should here something in 24-48hrs. Still no response.
Response: This will be investigated on the spot, Sheila. We take your feedback extremely seriously and would appreciate it if you would contact us at orderteam@edible.com or 1-877-363-7848 at your earliest convenience. Thank you for alerting us about this experience.
Jaqcc Feedback
Jaqcc Feedback: Edible arrangement is a reputable brand however it’s a brand comprised of several independent owners and franchisees. This store may just the the worst of them all. Mary who claims to be a customer service rep is the exact opposite, very unprofessional, rude and such a poor representation of any brand. Sora yoon and Lisa who are supposed managers are also very unprofessional and the store really shouldn’t exist. The Washington DC Georgetown area of filled with businesses who operate in the highest of standards, thus store not only sent multiple emails which were all unprofessional and simply didn’t fulfill an order which other stores in the area on short notice were able to, but what was worst is instead of apologizing and trying to make up for what was clearly several emails misrepresenting what I should expect as a customer they were rude condensing and clearly showed no remorse nor understanding of the fact that edible arrangement is a business designed to deliver cheer and happiness to people who celebrate. I would advise anyone to choose another option and avoid this store completely and advise corporate to close the store and find another franchisee that understands the brand and mission.
Response: You're completely right, Jaqcc, kindness is effortless and powerful. The behavior that you're describing is unacceptable to us and we'll make sure to investigate it thoroughly. Please be so kind as to contact us at orderteam@edible.com or 1-877-363-7848. We hope that we can regain your trust and confidence. Thank you.
Ashley Flanagan
Ashley Flanagan: I ordered an arrangement for St Patrick’s Day and my sisters birthday, I called the day of to get an estimate of what time my sister should expect her delivery and I was told by 5pm. My sister gets the delivery and things are missing. I called the store and nobody answered. I left multiple messages. I never got a call back. They sent me a picture of another delivery sent to my sister and not what I ordered. Completely unprofessional. I’m very disappointed. I spent 167 dollars for this service and only got two of the four things ordered.
Response: This is all very concerning to hear, Ashley. Our aim is to always provide a pleasant and hassle-free experience. We take your feedback extremely seriously and would appreciate it if you would contact us at orderteam@edible.com or 1-877-363-7848 at your earliest convenience. Thank you for alerting us about this experience.
Alex Navarro
Alex Navarro: Always good, but order was not ready for pick up when promised. Fruit is best enjoyed the first day, after that the strawberries tend to go bad quickly.
Response: Hi Alex, thank you for your kind words! Helpful hints never hurt and we'll make sure to share your feedback with our Washington team. Thanks for the review!
Brandon Cox
Brandon Cox: Placed an order a month in advance for 2/14, and still have not received it. The tracking order page still states its arranging. Tried calling but to no avail.
Response: We’re sorry to hear that, Brandon! Ordering from us should always be a pleasant and hassle-free experience. We'll share your experience with our management team and look into it further. If you would be so kind, please contact us directly at orderteam@edible.com and 1-877-363-7848. We'd love to earn back your trust and confidence.
Jamal Hoyles
Jamal Hoyles: I have placed an order last minute earlier today and payed extra for it to be delivered. My order says it was delivered but unfortunately I did not receive my order. I tried calling multiple times at this location but no luck. I would like a REFUND!!!
Response: This is all very concerning to hear, Jamal. Our aim is to always provide a pleasant and hassle-free experience. We're escalating your feedback internally and will check in with our Washington team right away. Please reach out to us at orderteam@edible.com or 1-877-363-7848 so we can help you out. Thank you.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Win Anderson
Win Anderson: This great review is solely because of the wonderful barista at the coffee shop. I was in town for a conference and went to whole foods three days in a row for coffee in the morning. Each day Tom provided wonderful coffee and friendly service. He is polite and personable and efficient. (This was in stark contrast to some of the register checkout clerks, who were downright rude.). The police officers were very friendly!
Cyndy Nguyen
Cyndy Nguyen: I came here for the coffee bar and had a wonderful experience. The barista, Tom, was friendly and helpful. He gave me some information about the decaf coffee (doesn’t contain any chemicals). He gave me a sample of one of their green smoothies and made me a delicious brown butter cookie latte. I’ll come back for the great customer service.
Response: We truly appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, Cyndy. We are thrilled to hear of the amazing experience you received at the Foggy Bottom store, and will gladly share your feedback with the appropriate leadership so Tom can get the kudos they deserve!
Barry Bub
Barry Bub: I am usually willing to pay more at a Whole Foods market because I generally enjoy the shopping experience there. This particular store not, for a number of reasons. Here’s one. When I asked the checkout person, politely, to tape the lid of the soup container to prevent it coming off - I had a long walk home - she yelled at me and stormed off. She was replaced by male who told me they no no longer tape or rubber band lids. I guess the few seconds it takes to do so eats into their profits. And what has happened to customer service? I agree with the previous reviewer, it’s a management or corporate problem.
Response: We're so sorry you were disappointed on your recent visit, Barry. Please visit http://wfm.com/help to send us further details and our team would be happy to review your feedback.
Melissa Colón
Melissa Colón: I love stopping by the coffee bar for my daily fix. My drink is always perfectly made and the conversation is great! I’m hoping that eventually the hot bar breakfast will work its way back up to how great it was pre-pandemic.
Response: We're pleased to hear you enjoy our coffee bar, Melissa. Thank you for shopping with us!
Natalia Delgado
Natalia Delgado: Had a really had experience at this location. We were accused of stealing by the manager just because we had our own cart with groceries from trader joes. The grocery store is 15 minutes from where we live and we go walking so we have no other option than to go to both stores in one trip. He made us feel very uncomfortable the whole time and followed us throughout the store. Another person had their own cart and was putting groceries in there but it didn’t seem like he said anything to them while we had our whole foods items in a separate basket. He approached again at checkout (after making it very obvious that he was talking about us with another employee) and said we couldn’t bring our own cart because “it confuses the employees”. I explained that we had a receipt for the groceries we had in our cart but he didn’t seen to care. We don’t have the luxury of a car or leaving nearby the store and we had never had any problems with going to two stores in one trip with our cart.
Response: We're so sorry you were disappointed with your recent visit, Natalia. Please visit http://wfm.com/help to send us further details and our team would be happy to review your feedback.
Caroline McGuire
Caroline McGuire: Tom makes the best smoothies at the coffee & smoothie bar! The whole staff is amazing and the store is always so well organized. Cannot recommend this spot enough!
Response: We appreciate your support, Caroline. We are delighted to hear how great your experience was and we hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Sprinkles Georgetown: what do users think?
Shanice Stewart
Shanice Stewart: I absolutely love their salted caramel cupcakes! I’m not a big fan of the rainbow sprinkle cupcakes, because they are not fun to chew. Every time I go from here on out, I will order half a dozen salted caramel cupcakes because they are the best! Great Customer Service!
Response: We appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon!
Dia Berrios
Dia Berrios: Ugh I used love Sprinkles. Not sure if the recipes have changed due to Covid and the food supply shortages but they are not the same. Kind of sad about it. The strawberry was lacking strawberry flavor the only thing that had strawberry was the frosting. Everything else was decent. But for the price I was highly disappointed because there are so many other options in DC. I wont be returning unfortunately.
Response: Thank you for your review. Our recipes have not changed. We'd like to learn more about your Sprinkles experiencing. Please email marketing@sprinkles.com so that we can learn more and make this right.
chelsea gadiano
chelsea gadiano: It was busy but the line goes fast because of the convenient iPad ordering system. The staff were very friendly and order comes really quick! The cupcakes are soooo good! We got red velvet and lemon blueberry! My husband and I loved it! Their cream cheese frosting is the best! Cupcakes are so moist and delicious! Packaging is super cute!
Response: Thank you for the amazing 5-star review! We appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon!
K S
K S: 10/10 experience!!! I loved the contactless payment, good covid protocols and the amazing moist cupcakes. I’ve only had sprinkles a few times at birthday parties and I decided to go there on my own; one of the best cupcake stores in DC! The staff is superb and the cupcakes come out efficiently!
Response: Thank you for the 5-star review!
Ree A
Ree A: I went there in the Mother’s Day, I found only 2 types available of cupcakes it was the first time to try sprinkles Georgetown and reallyI didn’t like the sugar cream on the top of cupcakes also the cake was dry . I don’t know if Im un lucky in my selection choices or they prepare all cupcakes like what I tried. The service was fast although the store was crowded.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to review our bakery. We bake fresh daily and can sell out. We always recommend placing a pre-order on our website (order.sprinkles.com) or app. Please email marketing@sprinkles.com as we'd like to learn more.
McKenzie Taylor
McKenzie Taylor: Decided to try Sprinkles after seeing the line (+ reviews mentioning unfriendly service) at Georgetown Cupcakes) and was not disappointed! The staff at Sprinkles was incredibly friendly and ordering couldn’t have been easier. There were a few customers ahead of me but the kiosks allowed for quick, simple ordering. The red velvet cupcakes were great but the pumpkin was my favorite!
Response: Thank you for your 5-star review and kind words! We hope to see you again soon!
Keli Wright
Keli Wright: I always enjoy going to Sprinkles. I went right before they closed and there was no line, a lot of cupcakes were sold out but still a great selection. I have brought lots of people here too.
Response: Thank you for your awesome 5-Star review! We hope to see you again soon!
Stephanie Corte
Stephanie Corte: I’ve been a Sprinkles fan for many years now. The red velvet cupcakes are my very favorite dessert. The cream cheese frosting knocks it out of the park every time. They are just absolutely delicious cupcakes. I recommend becoming a rewards members if you live near a Sprinkles location. I frequently get a free cupcake. This place is definitely worth a visit if you have never been.
Response: Thank you for the 5-Star review!
Carrie Crowther
Carrie Crowther: My favorite cupcake spot in DC! They’re so light and not overly sweet. Definitely in for a treat, and you don’t have to wait in a long line. My usual go to’s are red velvet, banana, and dark chocolate!
Response: Thank you for your 5-star review! We appreciate your support and hope to see you again soon!
iisha hackett
iisha hackett: Good variety, but not too impressive for a $5 cupcake. Icing too sweet, cake not flavorful enough..Cute shop, pleasant staff. Worth a try

Edible Arrangements #1706: what do users think?
Chocolate Morphine
Chocolate Morphine: Edible arrangements. What to say? What was ordered was (I have a sieve-like capacity to retain memories) in accordance with what I picked up, and the contents were delicious. A polite, well-groomed and impeccably educated sentient biped dealt with the mess that I am on a daily basis, and I wandered off, appeased as a well trained dog with a new muzzle.
Response: Thank you for your feedback , See you again.
Carletta Allen
Carletta Allen: Received an order today I’ve been on hold for approximately 15 minutes and they close in 9 minutes. Awaiting a redelivery of my order due to it being warm, fruit was not in the top. Wow. I want a refund, Period!!! The girl that answered must be the managers family she was so confused about what I was saying. I know I’ve ordered a few items over the course of Mother’s Day and my birthday, my issue was with today’s order! Never again! Not this location!
Diane Swanson
Diane Swanson: Would give 0 stars if I could. This establishment needs major improvements they have the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with with any company. Order never came but they made sure to get their money before even trying to make things right on their end. Very disappointing I will never return here again!
Response: Thank you for leaving your feedback, we strive incredibly hard here to make every customer experience enjoyable and we’re really sorry we’ve not been able to meet your expectations this time. Response: Thank you so much for this 5-star review. We really appreciate you being a customer and helping to share the word about us. We’re here for you anytime.
Victoria Daniels
Victoria Daniels: Excellent service! I was planning for a very special event with specifics that required extensive attention to detail. I decided to call to place the order and Steven handled my entire order with extreme professionalism and support. When I went to pick up the platters, everything was as requested!
Response: Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. We hope to see you again soon.
carla molina
carla molina: I have been a huge fan of edible arrangements and had never had an issue until today. I had never ordered from this branch and now that I see the reviews I wish I would have checked that first. I am out of state and requested a delivery for my sister-in-law in DC. I received notification that my order had been delivered but she only received the fruit even though I paid for the fruit and bouquet of flowers. Paying over $100 for a box of strawberries was not the plan. When I call the number listed I get sent to a vm that is full no other contact information is available. I would love for her to get the flowers I paid for. I have reached out to the email they list on previous bad reviews have yet to hear back from anyone.
Tineeta Barnes
Tineeta Barnes: Valentine’s Day is the worst time to order from here! First, the senders notification said “delivered”. When I called the store to follow up because nothing was received, the store said “ignore the message”. Why would the tracking message say “delivered” if I haven’t received it and your response be “ignore and call back at 5:30 if you have not received”. I was also on hold for 40mins! Secondly, by 530pm, I never received my arrangement or a call from the driver! The store had me on hold for over an hour the second time. Time wasted waiting on the phone to never speak to anyone! Now I will not have my fresh fruit and disappointed that I couldn’t receive my gift. Money wasted! Highly recommend to NOT order from this location. You won’t receive on time and will receive mixed messages. Now I have to go to the store in person to chase down a gift that was meant for me.

Moxy Washington, DC Downtown: what do users think?
Kyle
Kyle: NOT your usual Marriott hotel. Very hipster/artsy feel. Rooms are very tight, with your room chair mostly in your way the entire time, and your table hanging off the wall. No closets or iron in each room, exposed concrete ceiling. However, the people that work there are really great, the beds are more comfy than I thought, and the rooms are very clean. Nice location. Probably not the hotel for most folks, but they cater very well to the minimalist vibe.
Response: Thank you so much for your honest Moxy review. Yes, rooms are tight but relatively efficient, and we encourage guests to hang out in the vast public areas set for gaming, relaxing, eating, drinking, or just vibing. We hope you will visit us again!
Jamin CSC
Jamin CSC: I seldom leave reviews, but felt it was warranted in this case. I visit the DMV area very regularly and I travel elsewhere pretty often as well. While I was staying in a different hotel this past weekend, it occurred to me that Moxy DC is the standard to which I compare other hotels. It’s quite simply my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Full disclosure- this is probably not a hotel for everyone…especially if you plan on doing a lot of work in your room- because there’s not a ton of space…there’s also not a ton of privacy inside the room, so if you’re sharing the room with a companion- you’ll need to be VERY comfortable with them. However, if I’m in DC just to have a good time- Moxy is the absolute coolest. The atmosphere is fun and modern, the rooms have a cool urban vibe, the bed is perfection, and I honestly have to force myself out of the shower. The hotel is incredibly well-kept and modern, but it’s also laid back…and I love that, it’s a unique vibe and, to me, it feels really welcoming. Also- paying a little more to get the city view, is SO worth it. I love this hotel (in case that wasn’t already apparent). I will absolutely stay at this hotel again, I regret not staying there this past weekend, and I always recommend Moxy anytime a friend mentions they’re traveling to the DC area.
Response: Just wow. We think you’re pretty special too. Here’s to your next visit!
Samantha Saykao
Samantha Saykao: Stayed here for a conference. Service was lovely. Ken was able to accommodate all my needs and said hello every morning. They are so sweet! Rooms are v space efficient and the showers are spacious with rainfall shower heads! Very enjoyable stay. :)
Response: Hooray! Thanks so much for the great comments. Ken says Hi! Se you again soon!
K -
K -: Definitely got a hipster vibe from this establishment. Great location and helpful staff. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired and the coffee in the grab-n-go area was often empty. Room felt cramped due to a useless clunky chair (replace with a folding chair if ownership feels a chair is necessary). Bathroom was clean and space-efficient. I enjoyed the art on display. It definitely gave the place a welcome character.
Response: Thanks so much for your constructive feedback! So happy you enjoyed the 'Gallery Stars' and the commissioned mural in the Livingroom lobby. Sorry about the coffee; agree bout the chair. Thanks for the ideas! We hope you will come back again!
Washington Fajardo
Washington Fajardo: Terrific location. The room is small but well designed. The hotel experience would be extremely different if they had a good bar or restaurant in the lobby. I loved the atmosphere. The staff could smile to customers.
Response: Thanks for your feedback! Happy to know you enjoyed your stay. BarMoxy is designed to offer pub snacks and cocktails and the Grab & Go is available 24 hour a day for guest convenience. With so many excellent dining options around the hotel, we hoep you found what you were looking for. We are working on a restaurant concept that will be housed in the adjacent building so stay tuned!
Toloria Gray
Toloria Gray: The Moxy hotel is very nice. I suggest not to book if it’s more than 3 people because the rooms are super small. I also suggest not driving because parking is blocks away and $22 a night. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and the bar and staff is great. I also like the fact that it was pet friendly.
Response: Thank so much for your review! We are happy you enjoyed the vibe! For sure rooms are compact but efficient, and we hope that all of the cool public spaces are the respite guests can experience when away from their room. We hope to see you again!
Joyceruba Mercado
Joyceruba Mercado: Moxy is a different experience and we really enjoy it. It is not our first time….however, this time we were disturbed 3 times for check out even after calling front desk to make sure they spoke with housekeeping. We also heard housekeeping cleaning the rooms next door very loudly and we could also hear everything outside from our room. Which did not occurred on our previous stays! Nonetheless it’s a great hotel… clean and nice staff
Response: Thank you so much for being a repeat guest! Music to our ears! But it sounds like you could have used some ear plugs. So sorry the housekeeping team disturbed you. We will share that feedback to be sure and will work harder to keep the noise down. Hope to see you again soon!
Mauricio Pretto
Mauricio Pretto: Stayed at Moxy for two nights, very good location for business and tourism. Few blocks from white house , good restaurants near by. The lobby has a nice vibe for working or just chilling . Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not get 5 stars because the nespresso machine had only decaf :(
Response: Thanks so much for the great review! Out of coffee? Lose a star. :-( We understand completely. Supply chain issue still rein. Your next cafe is on us. Come back soon!
Blvknative
Blvknative: This place was absolutely everything I pictured in a hotel. The service, the varies activities available, there was a bar and lounge area. A common room with games and such to interact with fellow peers that stayed. 10/10 great places to stay - sadly I didn’t get any photos during my stay just wanted to enjoy it and take it all in but next time for sure!
Response: Hooray! So glad you had a good time at Moxy! Come back soon!

InterContinental the Willard Washington D.C., an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Kelly McCarthy
Kelly McCarthy: Beautiful hotel. Tradition and old Washington charm surround you. Next to the White House. Built in 1918 there are so many beautiful details. Don’t miss the Famous round robin bar. Check in with seamless and the customer service was exceptional. The rooms are spotless and much of the staff has been here for generations. I highly recommend this hotel.
Hugh Shoff
Hugh Shoff: We spent the night here before the Easter egg roll at the white house. It was exceptional. Easy to get in everything was right up front. You do pay for a premium but due to the location it was well worth it. The room was clean and nice. We had the high tea and that was quite the experience. If you go during the Cherry blossom festival we have the option of drinking tea with the Cherry blossom cuttings and that was quite the experience. I would highly recommend this. We only had pastries and coffee from the cafe and they were good. It is a five-star hotel.
Catherine Petty
Catherine Petty: Tea was lovely!! Would recommend highly for any events you have coming up. The staff was great, very helpful and the food was delicious. Surprisingly filling for it being so small. They even offer gluten free options. The harpist was also a lovely touch - she played beautifully. Will be back, especially around Christmas time!
Jess S.
Jess S.: I stayed here for thanksgiving back in 2019 and had a bit of an issue with concierge… the issue has since been resolved and taken care of… and all in all the room service was good and the hotel smelled fine. The hotel is beautiful but in a vintage way but … Flash forward to Feb 2022, I walked into the hotel to use the facilities and even with my mask on I noticed the lobby and hallway to the had a strong musty odor like that distinct moisture damage odor not saying that the hotel has moisture damage…but it’s clearly old and smells as such…and is in need of a renovation While I will most likely will stay at the Intercontinental in DC again in the future it will definitely be at the newer location at the Wharf
S R Das
S R Das: Disappointed to see that the service at this storied Washington DC hotel has fallen substantially. This was my first stay here since the pandemic started. At the middle of the day - a busy time - there was only 1 person at the front desk. She seemed unsure of what she was doing, calling repeatedly for advice. I was second in line and had to wait 20 minutes. The line, meanwhile, was growling. Even though people asked her to get help (a second person), she ignored that. I found out later she had overcharged me (100 dollars more on the credit card, she added the deposit.) Yesterday when I got in at 950 pm thanks to a delayed flight, the front desk said that the kitchen was open for 10 minutes and would take my order. In the restaurant, however, the waiter said no. All in all, a less than ideal experience. As the person behind me said, no longer a 5-star experience and doesn’t justify the steep price.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Kev- keepingitreal
Kev- keepingitreal: Great place to shop for all your groceries needs. Whole Foods Market offers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to choose from, they also offer a place to return your Amazon order for a Amazon pickup this really convenient. Whole Foods Market store was clean, shelf was pretty well organized and stock, staff was very friendly and helpful. This store offers free underground parking to customers. The parking garage is located on 6th Street.
Joshua D App
Joshua D App: Stopped by today to pick up pizza near closing time on a Monday night. Even with all the usual clean up rush, Diva (I believe that’s her name as it was through a mask) was very pleasant and helpful even though she had limited time and ingredients left and at the end of her shift. Extra stars for her! The rest of the store is as you would expect from a Whole Foods
Kathy Thomas
Kathy Thomas: My entire experience at Whole Foods, was great. First off, there was plenty of parking, my son easily found a spot in their parking garage, which leads right into their store. You get a parking ticket and can park 90 minutes, free. The store was huge, there were plenty of carts. The fresh fish and meat were great, and we purchased a good amount of fresh salmon, and other seafood. I found everything I needed to cook for my son and I, which is huge. Fresh produce was great, I got fresh collard greens, kale, green beans, spinach, onions, to name a few. They also had personal items.
Response: Thank you for your wonderful feedback, Kathy. We hope to welcome you and your family again soon!
Stephanie Enaje
Stephanie Enaje: One of my go-to Whole Foods since they opened. Staff is always kind. Lines always go fast. Just a tidbit, the high PH water refill had/has a metallic taste that was off-putting hopefully management addressed it.
Response: We thank you for stopping by and for leaving a review, Stephanie.
Anthony Alexander
Anthony Alexander: This is the worst Whole Foods I have ever been to in my life. Tried to give it a year but after hearing profanity from the store clerks joking around with each other for the 5th time, I have had it. The food is often not fresh. They do not replenish produce shelves and will leave wilted products out. The hot bar is always unkept with food that has been out too long and it tastes horrible even when its fresh. The pizza is always old and whole pies are sitting there with coagulated grease because it looks unappetizing, Every day the hot bar, pizza and deli are the same. No variety. I have gone to other Whole foods in DC and it is not like this- so it is THIS H street location. The customer service is horrible. There was a person working in the vitamin section and asked about some calcium and he was like "I dunno, just look around.". You never see any new products like you do at other whole foods. Once I got ice cream home and it was melted already (I only live a block from the store) . The deli counter people are NEVER at the counter. They are always in back and seem put out when you want to buys something. The manager of this store should be fired. Please investigate this store. It gives Whole Foods a bad name.
Response: Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Anthony. We're sorry to hear about your experience with our team members, and we would like to look into this issue further. Please feel free to contact us directly at wfm.com/help with any additional details.

The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown, Washington, D.C.: what do users think?
Jessica Leifer
Jessica Leifer: Disappointing. Can hear the highway from the room, and they supposedly didn’t have any other rooms to offer us. Definitely not worth the price. Rooms should be soundproofed better. Mediocre— nice Marriott at best. Probably could have spent $200 less and stayed at a hotel just as nice, and way quieter. The lobby is adorable and homey feeling. Service was great. Location is great.
Sean C
Sean C: For a high end hotel, the rooms were old, not well maintained, and very underwhelming. We were super disappointed when we got into our room. It was mediocre at best. It looks like what you would expect at one of the lower end Marriott properties, but not a Ritz. The shower is super small, the toilet is very low to the ground and uncomfortable. The bathtub was dirty, the towels were small, thin and not soft at all. The wallpaper also has stains in a number of places. The lobby of the hotel is nice and the location is good. There are two wings in the hotel and our room was in the West, so I don’t know if this is an older part of the hotel or not, but it could use major renovations for us to want to come back again.
Toni Dzinic
Toni Dzinic: My wife and I had our wedding at the Ritz in their Fahrenheit Ballroom, and what a beautiful night it was! We had ~60 guests and that is about the most people I’d personally recommend for the ballroom. Liliana Klein is the person to talk to when you want to plan a wedding there and she’s such a pleasure to work with. She walked us through everything from day 1. The food was excellent, the preferred vendors were also a joy to work with. Seriously, I’ve never experienced better service at a hotel. If you’re considering having your wedding here, do it! If you’re coming here for a night or two, or just to enjoy some dinner and cocktails, you also won’t regret it. We’ll be back!

McDonald's: what do users think?
Maureen Vilchez
Maureen Vilchez: Great location. Never had any issues; I always order curbside pick up and the staff are amazing. Keep up the good work! I saw some comments below regarding the air conditioner the staff need to work comfortably and not almost 90 degree temps. I would recommend that is looked at ASAP because happy staff will provide great customer service.
karandeep singh
karandeep singh: Used to be a great location, but now all they have is touchscreen kiosks. You cannot order food from a person whatsoever so if you want anything specific, good luck going through multiple hoops to get it. Although it does have fast service, it is not quality.
Giavanna Bambocci
Giavanna Bambocci: This is the finest establishment in Tenleytown. The ambiance in this fine restaurant is immaculate. The music is calming. The service is impeccable. “The staff works so hard to please you” - real customer. I love it here. I want to live here.
Asel Dav
Asel Dav: This is how McChicken and “large” fries looks like … I ordered 2 McChicken but I’ve got just one ( and this one looks like someone already had a bite...) This location became the worst one!!!
Adam Getliff
Adam Getliff: Large dinning area. Lots of self order kiosk to use, staff more than happy to help you at the front as well if you’d like. I even saw them take an order from a car parked in the parking lot since they don’t have a drive through.
Eric Lee
Eric Lee: It’s a decent McDonald’s. Pretty spacious, pretty well kept. Comfortable enough to sit down for awhile. Though I did come during the day so this might be different at night.
Devonne Knight
Devonne Knight: Service is pretty fast. They seem to either forget the sauce for my nuggets or are very stingy with it. Who thinks 1 honey mustard sauce is enough for a 10-piece?

Laike Belachew
Laike Belachew: Very Rude Staff Ordered online at 09:38pm, went to pick it and was told by hand sign that it’s closed. I keep showing them my phone with the order and it says order is ready, I keep trying to wave my hand and to get there attention…. It was two cashier and a manager like person staring at me and talking to each other and completely ignoring me, finally the person that was collecting the trash said I can’t help you sorry. I was at least trying to cancel the order since I already paid for it but the staff and manager were very rude. Will never stop by here. Order date is 6/5 @9:38pm
Nancy Cosner
Nancy Cosner: Busy but manageable. Food came out fast, hot, and correct. No diet or unsweetened drinks available.
Alexandra M
Alexandra M: McScary is this McDonald’s. Rude staff - as in “mean girl” nasty. Floor was disgustingly dirty. Trash overflowing. One of those instances where I would give zero stars if that was an option. Do not recommend!
Mike Enkhtur
Mike Enkhtur: there was a lotta homeless people and they dont clean up. they made my burger so pretty bad.

Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Hanna Foreman
Hanna Foreman: Produce section doesn’t have a wide selection but it’s good enough if you’re coming in to pick up odds and ends. The aisles are well stocked and items are fairly easy to find but the store can feel kind of cramped depending on time. The check out lines are well staffed and efficient. If you’re dropping in, highly recommend going to this location over the one by Tenleytown metro.
Nick Zanin
Nick Zanin: Good Whole foods location. There is parking around the back of the building and they validated. It seems generally busy when I am here.
Kelly
Kelly: I love this store. However, a young gentleman who works at the store named Nizar is above and beyond. He helped me recently on 4/17, with my parking validation. I had just finished shopping and left my parking ticket in my car. I stopped Nizar, who was busy working in the lot, to ask if I could show my ticket at the exit to receive credit. Nizar, without hesitation, asked me if he could validate my ticket for me. He ran into the store and returned with a validated ticket. This young man is exceptional. Thank you, Nizar, for your amazing customer service. You are what makes Whole Foods Market at Chevy Chase so special. Keep up the great work! Management, please recognize him for the great employee that he is!
Response: Thank you for the kind words, Kelly. We are glad, Nizar was there to provide such excellent service. Hope to see you again soon.
Blaque Love
Blaque Love: Just visited this store for lunch only to say hello to the greasy floor so an store associate stated. “It’s not water it’s grease.” Which tells me they knew there was a grease spill on the floor next to the cafe. With a hip issue I already had, the fall gave me excruciating pain. Folks say, “you should sue,” no, I’m telling. Beware of the floors
Response: Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Blaque. We're sorry to hear about your experience at our Store, and we would like to look into this issue further. Please feel free to contact us directly at wfm.com/help with any additional details.
Joseph Seriki
Joseph Seriki: Great sandwiches made by the gentleman on the grill. I only wish the hot-bar didn’t run out of Mac & cheese every night so early. Very clean and friendly staff.
Response: Thank you for reaching out, Joseph. We take all complaints and feedback seriously, so we would like to look further into this matter. Can you please contact us www.wfm.com/help? Can you also refer to this review in the message? Thank you.

Response: We’re happy to hear that, Yolandi! Please stop by anytime.
Khurram Sheharyar
Khurram Sheharyar: If you are looking for fresh vegetables, poultry, fish and meat along with other everyday groceries, then this would be the best market to walk in near Friendship Heights. Very neat and tidy and the staff are very helpful and friendly too. BTW, it is also very near to the Friendship Heightsetro station. Cheerio!

Eric Olkewicz
Eric Olkewicz: I always have good experiences at this mcdonalds. The staff knows my name and my order and gets it right every time. Mirna in particular is very nice and a good employee.
Shan Michele
Shan Michele: Very rude employees and management. My family ate their while visiting Union Station. I ordered 4 combo meals and received only 3 cups. My fiance took the receipt to the counter to get the missing cup and the lady working took our receipt, threw it in the trash, and told him it was over; refusing to give us the cup. All of these rude people need training or a new job. Will never return there in my lifetime
Glizzy Juice
Glizzy Juice: I waited 25 minutes for 20 nuggets. I was in line before a big group of people showed up and they got their food before me. Nuggets were good though. Hit or miss on that location. 👁💧👄💧👁
Mary Jones
Mary Jones: Mgmt needs to disperse the homeless standing and harassing customers trying to place their order. You dont see that at the other eateries
Kelly Barrier
Kelly Barrier: Great service, friendly crew! Hot fresh food
justabugDownUnder
justabugDownUnder: READ THE REVIEWS FIRST BEFORE YOU EVEN MAKE YOUR ORDER! I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder and I got a single. I went back to complain and they insisted I ordered a single. BTW I speak English quite well. I knew what I have uttered. I should have just followed my instinct and went to the nearby Shake Shack. Anyway, this place is noisy & rowdy. This is the first one-star rating I have given anywhere, ever! Follow-up: After reading some of the comments (especially about “rats”), I now refuse to eat what I have ordered which is still in my backpack. I’ll just throw it away when I reach my destination. Sad.

AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Downtown: what do users think?
Valerie Hudgins
Valerie Hudgins: We travel all over the country for work and leisure. Hands down best front desk staff! Jasmine (Jazz) was an impeccable representative of AC Hotels. She greeted us with a smile-we heard even under the mask! She recommended excellent restaurants in the area and was quick to greet and inquire with us every time we walked in from our excursions. This is the type of customer service that makes us want to keep returning and keep recommending. Rooms were a bit small but the prices made up for the lack of space.
Response: Dear Valerie, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager
Khalid Brown
Khalid Brown: Stayed here a couple days for New Years The room were clean and everything looked great. Staff was good and good were good. But the best thing is that they enforced the Liberty of what to put on your face. I can look over the fact that housecleaning didnt come the three days we were there if that valet parking was slow. You support Liberty this day and age I will come back over and over
Response: Dear Khalid, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager
H. Patricia Blackshire
H. Patricia Blackshire: Visited the AC Hotel by Marriott for the FIRST TIME! I was in AWE of the service by the Managers and Staffers. What brought me here was my affiliation with a local non-profit in the DC area. We had the BEST time! Food, drinks were superb. Even their complimentary drinks were outstanding. All of the persons in attendance agreed that we must visit again and SOON. So, for 2022 this place is our new go-to place for happy hours, social business meetings and more. Join us! Hope you visit soon!
Response: Thank you for the wonderful review, we hope you are able to visit us again soon!
Ryan Mathis
Ryan Mathis: Stayed a couple of days for business. No complaints about the room - plenty of room and enjoyed the modern architectural flare. The lobby bar / restaurant was also great with espresso to get me moving and a lovely selection of cocktails. Would stay here again
Response: Thank you for the review!
Jacquelyn Collins
Jacquelyn Collins: We were going to stay a week but checked out after one night. Non-smoking rooms have been smoked in - that was our first surprise. we went up to the 11th floor for breakfast this morning and were shocked by the terrible service. First, there was no salt and pepper available, second, no cream or real sugar for your coffee, no spoons available for cereal or yogurt, had to eat with a fork, coffee was not fresh, and there were no mugs for your old coffee. We waited a long time for them to come out of the dishwasher and finally gave up and used the mini cups. When we asked about cream or half-and-half for the coffee she said they do not have it and to use the milk, which was low fat and not what we would use in coffee. We finally went downstairs, crossed the street and bought cream at Whole Foods and brought it back for our family. I would suggest you put out salt and pepper packets, spoons, keep a clean supply of cups available, offer water which we did not get, and offer to-go cups for peoples coffee. you also need to give your employees a lesson in customer service, and using common sense. This is unacceptable in a Marriott hotel. We are gold members and travel constantly and stay in hotels often and have never experienced such a huge disappointment in a restaurant/hotel. Certainly not worth $20 for the breakfast and service. Despite the horrible experience, we thanked the lady as we left and we got a nasty glare from her. They were kind and polite upon entering but once we expressed our shock that there was no cream for the coffee and other things, their kindness/politeness faded to annoyance and an almost rude attitude. The fellow who worked the cash register was the only one who would give us the time of day. We asked several other employees who were working there for things and they looked at us with a blank stare like they didn’t understand English and ignored us and went about their business. I have never in my life had such a horrible and uncomfortable hotel restaurant experience.
Response: Dear Jacquelyn, Thank you for the review, unfortunately you did not stay at the AC DC Downtown, we do not have a record of your stay and we do not service breakfast on the 11th floor. It sounds like you stayed at one of the other AC properties in DC. Thank you, Ben Deane General Manager
Steve Tong
Steve Tong: Great location. Easily walk to metro stations, get Uber/Lift, or just wander up to Dupont circle or Foggy bottom. Walking distance to the White House too. Room was clean and nice. Service was good. Good tapas from the restaurant on the ground floor. Most people staying are young or the business type.
Response: Thank you for your review & feedback!
Charles gehlken
Charles gehlken: Absolutely amazing. Understands the finer touches. Lounge has an eclectic yet grounded menu. Delicate and delicious. The rooms are extravagantly decorated, yet feel minimal in their incursion into your field of view. My only complaint is the lack of response from the television remotes. In internet mode everything seems to have a couple second delay or no response at all. Otherwise I truly adored the experience and will be returning in the future!
Response: Dear Charles, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager
Ashley Vicary
Ashley Vicary: Staff were more than helpful—they were super friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Facilities and room were also great! Highly recommend.
Response: Thank you for your review!
Mama NYC
Mama NYC: The place is not too bad for visiting. But it is a working area so don’t go during weekend. For your breakfast go outside for diner it is good but you can go to different restaurants around. The room is clean with a very good bed. But no place to hang your clothes.
Response: Dear MamaNYC, Thank you for your review! We hope to welcome you back very soon! Ben Deane General Manager

The staff is very attentive to your needs and ensuring you have a good time. I can’t wait to go back! I ordered the Croque Monsieur and the Ladurée champagne cocktail. Can’t wait to try the other items.
Response: Hello Kiara, thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback very much and hope to see you back soon!
Nova Au
Nova Au: It was Saturday and the place was busy, and looked like they’re short-staffed (not sure), but I think the staff members did their best to serve us. We didn’t have to wait so long for food, and they never gave us dirty look for taking tons of pics xD
Therese Sipes
Therese Sipes: The hot chocolate is 10 out of 10 stars! The Elysee, éclair, practically every other dessert was stellar, except the “cake” - it’s chocolate loaf bread and was dry and unimpressive. Eat loaf bread at Starbucks and stick to the all-star macarons here!
Devin Boe
Devin Boe: Exquisite (and expensive). I have only tried the pastries and confections here, but so far everything I have sampled has been phenomenal. Excellent service at the counter, and their take-away boxes are very cute and stylish. I now know why the Maison Laduree has such an outstanding reputation for their sweets and desserts! Truly world-class, but very pricey.
Fahad Aqeel
Fahad Aqeel: Delicious pastries and coffee. They service was a bit pushy and the wait to sit is always long.
Response: Hello Fahad, thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback very much and hope to see you back soon!
Golden Eye
Golden Eye: Cute overload! Cost overload as well - but worth the visit! Nice little pastries, drinks and light lunch items.
Mishal Greenwood
Mishal Greenwood: Service was quick and friendly! The macarons are always delicious from Laduree ♥️

Wawa: what do users think?
Hilda Kroll
Hilda Kroll: I walked around to see what they had on the shelves, drank my free cup of coffee, and left. The market was clean and well stocked.
Juan Del Cid
Juan Del Cid: I was discriminate!!! Today I went like everyday to get my sandwich and coffee for almost 1 year, but today I feel disappointed, 2 workers were using mask however their nose was outside the mask. There were 3 workers in the food station without orders, but no one in the beverage station, myself and 3 other people was standing waiting on our coffees and no one want to go and be at the beverage station 10 minutes passing by when finally one of them after been laughing at me because I ask them decide to go and do the coffee, my order was first but he decide to do the white client first, then the African American client and the last one was me. Why!? If he seen my order was first? Because I’m Latino that’s why I have to be last? I feel so bad, I feel i was discriminated. I have been a great costumer me and my wife every morning for more than 1 year spending over $23 every day I think is not worth it.
Darel Pannell
Darel Pannell: Good customer service but slow as molasses. They can get busy during lunch time and you think if you wait until after the rush it might get better. NO they are slow no matter the time of day. But they are nice about it!
Peter Gibbs
Peter Gibbs: Thank you for bringing Wawa to DC!!! Wawa apple fritters at the best around. Can’t forget to mention the hoagies too! Best value for lunch/snack in the area. Largest Wawa in the country. Don’t miss out! IG: dishitoutnyc
Sev Velasquez
Sev Velasquez: So my husband I and stopped in while we were in the city checking on some property nearby and the female that made our drinks decided that her nose didn’t belong in her mask during a pandemic. So if I start to feel sick in the near future I know why. I threw out my drink. Wasn’t worth the risk. Gave 2 starts because everyone seemed very nice. Left the three off for them risking My life. P.S. someone keeps deleting the photo I took so I’ll just keep posting it
Paul VanBeuge
Paul VanBeuge: This place is great. Fast service, friendly staff, and ice cold beverages. Try a hoagie for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
Khoi Nguyen
Khoi Nguyen: Clean location with plenty of food options. Sandwiches come out quickly and quality here is high. They have bathrooms in the back. Location open late night. Do expect police here throughout the evening as well
Trisha Guillen
Trisha Guillen: Rude extremely unprofessional individuals. Did not have masks over their noses while they screamed at customers to put on masks. They denied 2 customers of sandwiches 🥪 & yelled at customers. Completely unprofessional & inappropriate. One nice woman but 2-3 absolute terrors. Unfair treatment.
