Comfort Inn Downtown DC/Convention Center: what do users think?

Derek Kruger: Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down. This hotel was very conveniently located for my trip to DC. The price was excellent, the service was excellent and the breakfast was the best I’ve come across included in the room cost. I will most definitely return! Book with confidence! I want to thank Avvy in the breakfast room for keeping everything super super clean, stocked and fresh. I forge the gentleman at the front desks name but he was awesome too. Well done to the Comfort Inn DC staff. Had a great time. Thank you
Response: Hi Derek, It is extremely satisfying to see that your stay was satisfactory. Your appreciation for Avvy and the breakfast are highly encouraging. This will surely motivate us to raise the service benchmark. Thanks for your generosity and being our preferred guest. We expect many more opportunities to host you. Sincerely, Hotel Manager.

Lydia Damm: It is a hotel with a good location (just about a 30min walk away from the White House or a 40min walk to the Capitol Hill or the Smithsonian Institution). The staff is friendly, courteous and ready to solve problems quickly. I was allowed to check in earlier, although you are actually not supposed to check in until 3pm. But: The rooms and especially bathrooms are very old and small. They also could be cleaner. The air conditioning was very loud. It woke me up several times at night. I even had a mouse in the room (I know that this is not the fault of the hotel staff, but it's not very comfortable to share a room with a mouse), so I had to ask for another room at the reception. Fortunately, this could be changed quickly without extra charge. The breakfast (only "grab and go" because of Covid) was more mediocre - no fresh fruits and no choice of what you would like for breakfast. All in all, the money I paid was not worth it.

ajaye b: The hotel is an older building (with the nuances particular to them), however it was perfect for my conference stay, reasonably priced, and very convenient to walk to the conference center with a variety of independent restaurants nearby. The staff members I met (front desk, housekeeping) were professional, thorough, helpful, and always pleasant. I would certainly stay there again, and easily recommend it to others.
Response: Dear Ajaye, It has been a great pleasure having you as our valued guest. We are immensely grateful for your appreciation. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed the friendly service delivery extended to you by the team. Looking forward to the pleasure of serving you during future stays with us. Sincerely, Hotel Manager

Mike Williams: This hotel was very conveniently located for my trip to DC. Thank you
Response: Hello Mike, Thank you so much for staying with us and the wonderful feedback. Your generosity in appreciating our hotel staff and the breakfast is very much encouraging. It is our privilege to host guests like you, who makes us run that extra mile towards guest satisfaction. Guests like you are the real ambassadors for our hotel. We will be really excited to welcome you again. Sincerely, Hotel Manager.

Free Thinker: Wonderful experience, exceeded our expectations in every way! My wife and I had booked for our anniversary in 2020 but our trip was canceled due to Coronavirus. We finally rescheduled our stay a year later, and didn't know what to expect. We were greeted upon arrival by Raj, who we had spoke with on the phone during the previous reservation cancellation, and not only did he remember us, but he even remembered it was our anniversary! And he upgraded our room and he even offered us a special anniversary treat! He made us feel very welcome and happy :) All other staff we encountered were pleasant. Our room was great, it was clean, had a decent TV, mini fridge, even a safe, and a nice view of the city. Despite other reviews, cleaning service happened every day and was done well. The hotel is in a pretty convenient location, not far from the White House, and a Metro Subway entrance. There is a possible 24/7 mini grocery store a block away. We found the gym when we were getting ready to leave - not that we would have used it... Continental breakfast was grab and go per current protocol, but it did not disappoint. We would definitely stay at the Comfort Inn Downtown DC/Convention Center hotel again. Thank you very much Raj!

Purple Cotton: Lovely hotel- perfect location! Front Desk Supervisor very accommodating. Only complaint is breakfast was not well kept and food and condiments kept running out. Breakfast clerk was nice though! I will most definitely return here!

József Gyula Nemes: Affordable yield close to the center. I am kindly helpful. Rooms are tidy, breakfast is delicious and hearty. What is a bit weak is the wifi that works in the hotel. I had a good time, I will recommend it to friends as well.
Response: Hello Jozsef, Thank you for the stay and the nice comments. It is good to know that you had a satisfactory experience. We will surely address the WiFi strength issue. It is a privilege for us to have guests like you. We are looking forward to your next visit. Sincerely, Hotel Manager.

AHMAD FARIT BIN MAZLAN: The room was good. Receptionist need to be more friendly. The housekeeping maam was friendly Location is good. Walkable to the attractions. Breakfast were provided. Pack and go. Tea & coffee making facilites available in room. Security is good. need access card to enter the main entrance. Would love to stay here again in the futuree. Just remind your receptionist to be more friendly

Comfort Inn & Suites Alexandria Van Dorn Street: what do users think?

Mali Blunt (Mali): I had an item in my room left by a previous tenant, but overall the room was clean and I am enjoying my stay. The walls/floors are thin, so you can hear everything (at least above you), but that's a given in most hotels. I loved the service as Casey was really awesome at greeting me and making me feel welcome and the room setup was nice for work and study. The breakfast area was unexpectedly and pleasantly large for seating which is nice given our current environment of keeping ourselves distant from one another and the breakfast options had a really good variety. Prior to moving, I used to live in this area a few minutes away from this hotel, so I know the drive in and out can be a pain in the butt HOWEVER, this location is right near the metro which gets you in an out of DC without driving and if you explore a little, this area is full of interesting wonders. I have really enjoyed my stay during this time and it made me nostalgic for my previous life here.

Beth Diaz: We liked the room setup and it worked well for us with 3 adults. The front desk employees were wonderful! Only complaint is that the breakfast on a busy Sunday morning was definitely lacking. No hot water for tea, coffee pot empty, nothing at all outside the hot breakfast except waffle maker. Add some butter, jelly, toast, bagels, and milk in fridge, please. Some fruits would be nice too.

Jim: Not the best location. Remodeled, clean rooms, but this is an old hotel. Rooms smelled strongly of cleaning solution, which permeated our clothes. Very noisy rooms; you could hear everything in the hall as if there were no doors. Front desk people were incredibly helpful and friendly. Price was good. Not a bad place to spend a night or two, but I wouldn't want to spend an entire week. No bugs, roaches or anything bad, which is not typical for a D.C. area budget hotel.

Sarah Ongaro: I have stayed at three hotels now between the Alexandria and Oxon Hill regions. All were 2-star level hotels and each one had its own unique problem that made the stay not relaxing. Staying at 3-star or higher hotels in this region is the best way to go if you want it to be worth your money. I HIGHLY recommend it! If you try to go super with saving money on hotel accommodations in this region, you WILL be paying for it. This Comfort Inn appears nice on the outside, and the room was very clean. Everything works too!... Then bed time came and all through the night, you can hear EVERYTHING that happens in the hallway of the hotel. The hotel room doors are paper thin and don't seal out the noise. PLUS the hotel room doors slam loudly unless you take the time for extra caution to slowly close the door. Doors closing all night long, and you will hear it.

Stephanie Maldonado: The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine, other than an erratic heating system. The room was clean and comfortable. All appeared redone, other than the bathroom door, which was severely in need of replacement. The grab and go breakfast, not great for me, but I'm sure it's sufficient for most. The breakfast sandwich, per my husband, was not terrible.

SUSMITA KAR: Rooms were nice and clean and friendly staff.. breakfast however was not good! Breakfast time was 8-10 am on Saturdays and Sundays and both the days it was over by 8.30 😂 I’d expect a better estimate from the management!

Style & Kym: As a truck driver i need rest and relaxation! This was it! The ladies at the check in were always so nice and the rooms were clean! Definitely will stay here again when i come back through! Thanks to all! T.Schell

Comfort Inn: what do users think?

Shay Stevens: This was the nasty hotel I have stayed at. Roaches running ants running. The fishy smell from housekeeping leaving nasty trash can by ice machine. Ice bucket top had mold in top. Couldn’t get in back door because group of people posted up by door in chairs that hotel had at dumpster. People fighting and arguing while you trying to sleep. This hotel must having people living in them the smell was horrible the elevators was horrible. Breakfast area was nasty should be clean after people use little boy that I believe live there got 8 muffins out with his bare hand. Man walked in from street told front desk lady mom I need a room she handed him a key. Couldn’t get our room until almost 430 then that wasn’t the cleanest. Ice machine had mold in it.

Shanekya Tate: My experience at this hotel was a complete disaster…DO NOT STAY HERE…..I paid approximately $200 for an overnight stay…..AS A RESULT, I did not expect to be welcomed by ROACHES….Upon arriving, we waited approximately 25 minutes for the front desk representative to acknowledge us & check us in…..While waiting, I called the main hotel line and it continued to ring non-stop…There was no service bell, therefore, after patiently waiting I had no other choice but to yell “HELLO” numerous times ( Which was completly out of my character)….The lobby had not been swept and the carpets throughout the hallway were filthy!!! When I reached my room, AS SOON AS I TURNED ON THE LIGHT TWO LARGE ROACHES CRAWLED AROSSS THE FLOOR…. Immediately Disgusted!!! I did not even fully enter the room to speak on the rest of the condition of the room!! I returned to the front desk to explain & asked for a refund!! It seemed as if my complaint was something they were already aware of… I was informed that they was spraying on that floor last week & offered another room (As if roaches don’t travel)…I kindly REFUSED & requesred a redund, which was denied & I was told to call “CHOICE” the company booked through!! NOT ONLY DID I CALL, but after an hour on the phone with them!m, I was told to call Comfort Inn back as they were the only ones who were allowed to refund me!!!! I had already traveled long hours, this was completly inconvenient having to find another hotel late at night in an unknown area!! Thankfully, a representative by the name of Maria spoke with her manager who was Pleasant to return my funds…. I will not stay here or recommend spending money here!! ACROSS THE STREET IS “HARBORSIDE HOTEL” very clean and pleasant experience!! Staff and rooms are a 10….This was the worse experience I ever had!!

Konan: The only reason I am leaving this a 1 star is the fact that the room had cockroaches. For some reason the photo I attached won't show up... not sure why. Other than that the staff was absolutely lovely at the front desk. The cleaning crew walked in on us once because we did not have a do not disturb on our door. But they didn't let us know they were coming in.

Comfort Inn Ballston: what do users think?

Benjamin Curtis: This is a great hotel! We stayed here for a few days, and the rooms and the service were great. Plus it has a hot breakfast bar, which was wonderful. Clean and quality, and the staff was friendly and very responsive to any needs we had. The location was very convenient (basically all of D.C. was within 15 minutes). Would definitely recommend!
Response: Thank you for your review and we are happy you enjoyed your stay! We hope to see you again soon! Joanne Ochoa, General Manager

enap: I had a wonderful experience at the Comfort Inn Ballston. The room was clean and the location was convenient with plenty of parking spaces. They offer a free shuttle to Ballston metro station. I was amazed by the breakfast selection; warm omelets, sausages, and waffles were available, which I think was a great deal considering the reasonable hotel price. But most of all, the staff members were so delightful. They went over and beyond to help our stay enjoyable. My favorite were Mrs.J and two gentlemen at the front desk, Mr.J and Mr.H. Thank you for treating us like a family. I will definitely come back to this hotel in the future.
Response: Thank you for your kind review and are really happy you enjoyed your stay. Have a safe and Happy new year and we hope to see you again soon! Joanne Ochoa-General Manager

Daniel Girtin: Overall I was very impressed with this place even though I had my doubts since it was a comfort inn. After staying there though I would highly recommend it. The breakfast bar was nice, the rooms were very comfortable and the location was very convenient. Some of the staff was amazing and a couple left something to be desired but over all 2 weeks there and I was happy
Response: Thank you for your review and am happy you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again soon! Joanne Ochoa, General Manager

Jen Knox: Hotel is right on the corner and very easy on easy off from the freeway. However, do not stay here if you two a trailer or your vehicle is higher than 9 feet. There is little to bo parking and definitely no parking for a trailer. My Nissan NV2500 cargo van only was going to fit in the outside lot. But, everything else was great, smooth check in, rooms appeared clean and definitely a spacious King Suite.

jiplip: first time visiting DC and honestly this hotel was great. The metro is a 10–15-minute walk and it's a pleasant walk too, but if you're not up to walking the hotel has a shuttle too!! The room was spacey and very clean. Staff was so helpful with all of our questions and very friendly.
Response: Thank you for your review and we are happy you enjoyed your stay! We hope to see you again soon! Joanne Ochoa, General Manager

Kevin Knoll: Paid for king/courtyard view, had to accept queen/interstate view due to plumbing issues with original room. Had to have room keys re-coded more than 20 times during 3 night stay 5/12-5/15. Joanne the manager stood in front of me and maintained complete silence when I spoke with their brand new desk clerk about our dissatisfaction, clearly hearing me yet not making eye contact or acknowledging my presence. She immediately went and closed her office door next to the elevators to further avoid any sort of managerial responsibility. The hotel is very convenient to the highway, DC and numerous eateries. If you want a cheap room and have low expectations, this hotel will surely suffice. Fans of Fawlty Towers will find it entertaining. Most businesses do take on the personality of leadership, this one seems to barely be able to make the doors work.

Brittany Handy: Received a hotel voucher since my flight was canceled through Delta. I arrived and had to wait over an hour and a half in the lobby with a handful of other guests. when I finally received my room key, I went up to open the door and opened it and found a suitcase in the room. The room they gave me was also issued to someone else. I went down to the lobby to let them know, and the employee was nice but basically told me she didn’t know what she could do and she was working on it. She also tried to tell me there was no reservation for me even though I had a confirmation number through Delta. Beyond frustrating and unprofessional. I had to room with a coworker since It was well past 11 PM at this point. I would not recommend this hotel there anybody and will be calling corporate to complain about the security issues with giving me a stranger’s room key.

srinivasan Ramakrishnan: Pros , Neat rooms , clean restroom, free parking , good value to stay , near to DC Cons, Door lock pretty old not working from inside , access card/key needs update . Free breakfast served - but employee will question you if they see more than one muffin or doughnut in you plate. Well I took those for my kid and wife sitting near the table. Rude indeed. Well manager told me she wassorry about they way I was treated, but you know what it ruined my whole day. Pity me ?

dona seminetta: An older hotel, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. Their restaurant was closed, but you are within walking distance to quite a few others. Continental breakfast was available. Free parking.

Comfort Inn at Joint Base Andrews: what do users think?

Papa Stauth: I have been coming here for 10 - 15 years thanks to the U.S. Air Force. The quality of the rooms has slowly gone downhill for the past 8 or so years. The room I am in has had the hair dryer stolen and no replacement. Light bulbs need replacing. Electrical outlets are broken. Curtain valence is broken. The room AC/heater works great. The staff is VERY GOOD at their job.

Jessica Williams: Which I could give a lower rating. This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen if you can even call it a hotel. Disgusting!!!! Elevator carpet was filthy. Halls had trash in them. Went to two different rooms that smelt like cigarettes. Just nasty, walls need to be painted in the hallway. Doesn’t feel like the hallways are air conditioned. Not to add their was a bug waiting on our pillow for us. With the two pillows provided look as if they belong on someone’s sofa.

Adam Carte: Girl at front desk was extremely unpleasant, no customer service skills whatsoever. Room was clean but bed was very soft!! Felt like sleeping in a hammock. Will never visit this hotel again!!

Babba Samba: This place is one step from being condemned. There is a weird stench in in the elevators , halls and rooms. There are stains on furniture in rooms and the pillows are so small you can sleep on them. This has to be one the worst and disgusting hotels I ever stayed in

Javay Porter: The hotel looks nothing like the pictures advertised online. The hallways smell like urine. The carpet and walls are stained. The elevator is disgusting, the bed sheets had hair on them and the furniture in the rooms is heavily stained. I checked in at 9:55 PM and checked out by 10:05 PM. During check out a hotel representative promised me a refund. He stated his manager would refund the charge in the morning. The only instructions I was given was to wait for 2-3 business days to see the refund. The representative printed a check out receipt, after I asked. I noticed there was no check out time on the document. I expressed my concern he then told me managers could see check out times "in the books". I called a week later and asked to speak with a manager. After explaining my situation, the manager stated I would not be given a refund. She explained I reserved a non-refundable room. I explained the hotel advertised is a false depiction of the actual hotel. She reiterated the transaction would not be refunded and the conversation ended. I am now on the phone with Choice Hotels Customer Relations. If you can afford to stay somewhere else, please do. It's nasty at the Comfort Inn at Joint Base Andrews. The staff isn't terrible but they can't actually help you with anything. They also seem programmed to tell you what sounds good opposed to researching and giving you real answers and solutions. Management lacks accountability, deescalation skills and empathy. The moral of the story is beware. This is 1 star hotel.

Comfort Inn Gunston Corner Near Ft. Belvoir: what do users think?

Jennifer Wheatley: We arrived in the early evening. Our room was musty and really damp. Thinking it was because the air conditioning wasn't up high enough we turned it on to run more frequently. However, this only made the problem worse. By the time we realized we were unable to correct the problem it was time to check out. Both my husband and I ended up with sinus issues and myy infection turned into a bad case of bronchitis. I have been on antibiotics to clear the infection. Maybe a different room would be better, but we won't take the chance again.

DaViDDeLuXxXe: This seems to be a rather decent place. Now the location is just plain optimal. Quite literally off the I-95 Ramp, but I’ve never once had an issue with traffic noise, etc. They have it well secured behind a newer neighborhood and a barrier wall to absorb possible traffic nuances. The good thing is, there really isn’t a great deal of traffic coming off off of here in the first place. So that was my first worry and a PLUS that I could set it aside permanently. The rooms are a little, just a tad smaller than I would think possible to fit two Queen beds into and still have that ‘roomy’ luxury. But it works. It’s a real ‘cop-haven’ like across the street (UC’s, trainees, cops having lunch) at all hours of the day. That’s where you’ll. Find a Shell, 7-11, ‘Mom & Pop’ type restaurants, and let’s not forget Burger King. LoL. All aforementioned is within steps of walking. Regarding that police presence earlier mentioned, I believe that’s how I rather noticed it. I decided not to drive if I’ve come back from dinner, etc. because it is a bit daunting even for a ‘law-abiding citizen’ like myself, but the County line is so close-that’s the last stop for them, I gather. Overall, not a party place by any means. That’s just dead. It’s quiet and somewhat quaint in just the right ways. Oh yeah…They do have animal rooms as well, so that helped me once. I always get this question what an animal room is? It’s identical to a regular room in every respect except for TWO. There’s no rugs anywhere in the room for mistakes that might occur and ,lastly, there actually conveniently on the first floor near a back exit for my and yours little guys. Hope it helps. If you need rest - I would go there definitely. But with anything, WATCH prices. They normally seem to be fair, but they popularize off that 95 location bit. Anyway, good luck people and enjoy Summer 2021!! -laterz David

T: I don't usually stay at Comfort Inns but my options were limited. While it is in the budget line, I found it to be very clean and comfortable. Check-in was fast and easy. The room was nice and cool - a real relief coming in on a 90+ degree day. I had a very quiet night's sleep, had some "eh" breakfast, and checked out with no regrets. From what I can tell, this is a we'll maintained and managed budget hotel. I'd consider coming back.

Christopher Jones: On August 19, 2021Just Drove from CT. to Va. And checked in to run water for 10 minutes still no hot water tried to clean air filter for the a.c. one is so clogged up it won't come out, but my fingers turned black, so I guess thats it ,gotta catch the auto train tomorrow maybe I can get a shower on that. HONESTLY its almost a health violation no hot water for hotel guests there were 3 excuses wahed too many towels, sheets, and it was just fixed and temp is set at 140°, all night on the hour I checked for hot water finally at 6 a m. It was like they just turned it on all of a sudden there was piping hot water,

joanne schneller: Room was fine. No handicapped room available????? Put us on floor #3 not even close to the elevator. Real struggle for me with luggage. Breakfast left much to be desired - no coffee in pot at 7:45am, a 2 slice toaster for 25 people that barely worked, cardboard eggs, fake butter, etc. Pro - a few blocks from the auto train! Employees very nice.

Alan Park: The room was very clean and spacious with a desk for working and a very comfortable bed, and plenty of outlets for my devices. It was also very quiet so sleeping was no problem. In my brief interactions with staff, I found them very friendly. I was just here for a quick overnight stay, but all my needs were met. Overall I was very satisfied with the experience.

Teresa Wyckoff: The service was impeccable! The people at the front desk were so nice, and so kind. Drove in late, from a long drive and they made process fast and smooth to check in. Free wifi & it was very fast. Room was clean and quiet. A great value, breakfast was good - with eggs, and sausage. They had microwave & fridge, which we appreciated. Thank you for a great stay and thanks for the recommendation to drive through the Shenandoah park as we were traveling south, beautiful views of the fall leaves.
Response: We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to welcome you back soon for the next time you explore the DC area!

Dawn Anthony: Nice clean room. Bed was comfy but AC did not work well. Told the ftont desk but still didn't work.

Rhea Sharma: This place is awful, old, and run down. It’s waterfountains and computers are not functional. Their breakfast is poor. The rooms contained rusty and old toilets. The walls are cracked in places and there were insects crawling in the room. In addition, their carpets were dusty and the room was smelly. They did not provide the most basic necessities such as charging outlets and functional lights. I feel cheated out of my money. The stay was definetly not worth the expense. Try to avoid this hotel.

Randall Thayer: This hotel is convenient to the Metro and to Amtrak so it was a good location for me. The staff were great and helped me with my laundry and directions. They also provided transportation one day to Metro. I found my room to be spacious and clean. the table was great for meals and working. They even have a small refrigerator to store drinks and stuff. The breakfast was very good and included waffles and oatmeal, which I like.

Comfort Inn University Center: what do users think?

True Talk: Just spoke with the front desk about renting a parking lot monthly, the lady work there named Cinthia is so rude and not willing to help me at all. My friend parked his car for a different price couple days ago, but she is asking me more, and not providing me with managers information. what a scam! Since I can’t reply to you. I will write it here. You sound like you are threatening me. First of all, You don’t own the hotel. You just a front desk worker and you can’t just arrest me for no reason. I came to you with good attitude and asked for the price for a monthly parking, you told me it’s 450 and I told you my friend park here for 350. You said no, and refused to provide me any information of your manager. I can provide his parking receipt by the way. I did report you to the headquarters.
Response: DO NOT COME BACK TO OUR HOTEL WITH YOUR NASTY ATTITUDE, YOU ARE THE SCAMMER, NO ONE PARKED HERE PAYING THE PRICE YOU PAID, I WILL BE SURE TO DO THE SAME TO YOUR COMPANY AND LEAVE A 1 STAR REVIEW AND ANY COMPANY YOU DEAL WITH, COME BACK AND YOU WILL BE ARRESTED FOR TRESPASSING

Thomas Hankey: I have used this hotel a couple of times for IT work in the Fairfax County area, and have gotten a king room each time. The rooms are nice, it's what you'd expect for a 2-start hotel, but the kitchenettes are a good touch for those of us not wanting to eat fast food every day. My only gripe is the abysmal internet, I understand with a 300-some room hotel you have to limit the speed for each device, but 1-2 Mbps is extremely low, and for $113 (Choice Members Rate avg) per night, I would hope to be able to relax to a Netflix stream or Youtube. With gig fiber at max capacity you could practically double the service currently provided at max capacity and add maybe 2-3 dollars per night on the rooms.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your experience, we will certainly take a look at why the speed is so low, we do have a 1G fiber line with Verizon so we will have someone take a look at the issue. Thanks for staying with us we appreciate your business

Lauren Ainsworth: The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, attentive and accommodating. Very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend!
Response: Dear Ms. Ainsworth thank you again for choosing to stay with us we sincerely appreciate the feedback, we hope you will stay with us again the next time you are in Fairfax, we wish you the very best in all your future travels.

Craig Weathers: I've worked with Michael and Cinthia for a few years now doing a few side projects for them and they are both great to work with. Both are happy positive people, and they run a clean and friendly hotel. I recommend staying here when in the area as they have both gone above and beyond the call of duty per se! Thank you both!
Response: Hello Mr Weathers thank you so much for staying with us we truly appreciate your business, we wish you the best in all your future travels

Holland Holland: Very good location near shopping centers, stores and eateries. The room is a bit dated but i enjoyed the jacuzzi tub.
Response: Hello Holland, thank you for taking the time to rate your stay we appreciate the feed back we hope you will stay with us again the next time you are in Fairfax. Good luck with all your future travels

Comfort Inn: what do users think?

Dana Hollow: My stay was short, two nights. It was clean, staff was very friendly. It was just me and my granddaughter, but I felt very safe. Very quiet, comfortable beds. My granddaughter loved all the pillows on her bed! Everything worked just fine. Good cold refrigerator. I would definitely stay here again!

Lindsey Gray: There was some kind of party all weekend in the hotel with loud music until 3 am and the parking lot was so full we had to park 2 lots away and walk. The room had a bug on the sheets and our keycards didn’t work and we had to get new ones twice. The hallways smelled of weed and the bathroom had a tub that filled with water while showering and the toilet would not flush correctly. Definitely do not stay here especially if you have kids it’s not very safe and the side exterior door which is supposed to only be accessed with a room key is always open. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in they also did not honor the original price and charged an extra $50 fee that I wasn’t aware of and was not on the website.

Jorge Otávio Gonzaga Reis: Is spite of 15miles from DC if you have a car it's a good option for a weekend travel when the traffic is a little better in the DC neighbours cities. The room was clean, many spaces in parking lot, good shower and nice staff. The price is a little high when you compare with others CInns but keep in mind nothing has a razoable price in DC when we talking about hotels.

gen guy: the hotel is nice but the staff sucks espically the spanish lady that works front desk in the day time she’s rude an unprofessional she made me not want to come back an the manager is lazy too won’t be back

Timothy Thomas: This Comfort Inn definitely ranks as the nicest one I've stayed in in my last 10 years of travel. Extremely comfortable bed, different pillow weights to choose from, plenty of towels and the shower had pressure like the base of Niagara falls. Top notch quality for a hotel in this chain. Will stay here again for sure. In addition easy walking access to the mall across the street with a ton of excellent restaurant options. Maggiano's was my choice and a good one at that.

Comfort Inn Pentagon City: what do users think?

Joseph The Uke: Stayed here because of proximity to DCA, the cost, and an actual hotel breakfast with no crutch excuse on not having one. Breakfast was quite fine. See photos. Definitely made the right choice on paying for overnight room which was like a 10 to 12 minute drive to the airport instead of the 1h30m drive I would have to do from home. And drive back to hotel was even less time. If one is looking for location in terms of walking distance things to do, this would not be it. But proximity to airport, very good and driving distance to D.C. attractions is fine. We spent the day in D.C. and late afternoon/early evening at the National Harbor. Great to be able to get to a hotel nearby and not a long drive home that evening. Rooms were clean. No complaints. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Bed linen was clean. Hotel is tucked back behind another hotel so almost don't notice it. Concerning and annoying at first because key card would not work and then bed sizes were not what we booked but they worked it out without issues.

Angela Gregory: Hotel staff was friendly but the rooms were terrible. First we got the wrong room key. Then when we got into out room, we used the bathroom and water backed up into the bathtub when we flushed. We changed rooms and of course there was no more king size beds so we had to take 2 double beds. This room smelled like mildew, but we were so tired we just went to bed. In the morning we had to flush multiple times to get the toilet to work. This is obviously an old hotel with plumbing issues. Beware!

Jerri “Medic4Purple” Thompson: Except for it being a nightmare to get to, it was tge perfect location for our stay. We visited the tidal basin to experience the Cherry Blossoms at full bloom. Room was clean and staff very professional. Only issue is the toilet is sized for a child, so very low to ground. It was very difficult for my elderly mother to use without assistance. There were contractors on site giving estimates do hopefully they willbe renovating soon and addressing this issue. Would recommend for an overnight stay. They have a full hot breakfast which is a plus.

J. Caleb Schulze: I travel a lot for work and I can say that surprisingly enough, the beds are comfy and it's pretty silent with even thin walls. But on their website, it shows the rooms coming with at least a mini fridge. All I received in my room was a coffee maker. No fridge, no microwave. Got 2 sinks though. Kinda sucks when you're staying a whole week somewhere and you can't even refrigerate drinks or some food you'd like to eat later. There's a whole space where the mini fridge is suppose to be... just no fridge. Stay is friendly though. For the most part. But I wouldn't recommend staying here if it's over 2 days.

Gray Lenora: This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stay in. The rooms were not cleaned at all. Hair is was stuck to the ceiling in bathroom. I did Lysol all the the surfaces but the amount of dirt was gross. I sleep in bed by door and move early morning to the bed the was next to air conditioning, half the room was too hot. After Laying in the other bed for about 30 minutes I got really itchy pull the sheets back and realize some of the sheets inside were dirty and there was bedbug and a spider in the bed. Save you money for a better hotel.

Jackie Wishart: Clean, great hot breakfast included, nice staff, easy check in/out. And one of my pet peeves is having no bags in all the little trash bags (or just hanging over the edge. First hotel I've been to it a while that had the bags inside all the cans. Its the little things. 😆

Jarrod Walker: No frills hotel, restaurant not open yet. Located in a funky spot behind Hotel Pentagon (an old motel that’s trying to hold on). The staff is pretty friendly. Pay attention to the room amenities, not all rooms come with a fridge and microwave (however, there’s a microwave for use in the lobby). While the hotel looks a little dated, it is nice & clean.

Dan Bernard: I picked this hotel due to it having a restaurant. Upon check in I find out the restaurant is closed. (COVID) also, there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room the hot breakfast was still on. I arrived at 8:45. Staff were in the breakfast room closing it down at 8:55 am. People were still wanting to eat but were told “sorry we are closing it now” we still had 5 min. No leniency from the house cleaning staff. I don’t think customer service is high on the list. I have many hotel stays in a year. I experience hotels across the U.S. and Canada. I know some hotels are trying to save money by not reopening some amenities. Yet, they still advertise these things on the choices app. Dissatisfied with the hotel stay.

Chuck Cali: Booked for location to Regan airport. And they state in their info on various sites that they have an airport shuttle. They do not any longer since Covid started. Friendly staff, good breakfast choices and its included.

Alexandra Mae: Pretty nice rooms except that they never brought us new towels and paint was peeling everywhere. My complaint was that everyone in my groups rooms got locked and the keys didn't work, so we got new keys, didn't work, and the manager had to come up and try her master key (didn't work) and eventually reprogram rhe door. breakfast was mediocre at best. ,

Trel C: THEY DO NOT HAVE A POOL!! We booked this hotel specifically because it said online that it had a pool. We checked-in and they tell us the pool is closed indefinitely for renovation. The staff seemed overwhelmed and acted like they had better places to be. No one took the extra steps to do anything. If you need a place to sleep, this will work, but if you want amenities and good service, go else where.

Dennis Joyner: False advertising and marketing on all platforms Photos are not the actual photos of that location. This location in our community is making our area bad. management is poor with quality of service and training for the staff that's currently employed. The Homeless have access to the hotel due to poor management. I truly understand that because this hotel location is near the FedEx fields it make since to book. But be warned this is not a safe location for family's that's visiting the area or even passing through. This hotel in our community is most common for adultery on all levels Room standards poor. Bathroom standards poor. Check in standards poor. Safety and security standards poor. We have more new location in the area to choose.

Jordan Hall: Asked for money in front of hotel multiple times. Very nice front desk, but slow check in and room wasn’t ready upon arrival after check in time. Card stopped opening room door each night of stay. Nice rooms, walking distance to metro rail. Looks like it used to be really nice.

idesigndream: They overbook their hotels. And when I booked the hotel 2 weeks before my stay with special rate, there were room available, and few days before my stay, they are calling me to say that they are overbooked and they can not honor special rate. This is so bad how they treat their guests! Tips to the manager: next time offer your guest who booked the room early if they are willing to pay the regulars rate before asking them to cancel for your overbooking mess-up. No wonder why the rating of the property is so bad!

Denice DuPree-Harper: We stayed there 3 nights as a guest for a family members 60th birthday party. The party was great but many of our family members had the worst rooms from broken doors to water from rain in room to roaches in their room. My Husband and I had a room on the 6th floor which happened to be better than what the rest of the family got but the smell of Marijuana was constant in the hallways. I even sprayed with the can of Lysol we carry with us to cut some of the smell. Lobby is the cleanest part of the hotel. Pool was empty and was told under renovations. Breakfast was nothing to scream and shout about but the staff was nice. They will have to make a whole lot of changes for me to even consider coming back to this hotel. Was very disappointed. My daughter nicknamed it the TOE short for THE GHETTO!

Sarah Karpinski: The hotel staff was the and unfriendly. They didn't have any extra towels either day we asked for more and we're annoyed we even asked. There was a huge party hosted each night by non-overnight guests will took up all of the parking spaces and played loud music until 2am. It seemed this was an every weekend occurrence. We were put on the 2nd floor and could hear the music through the floor. Instead of complaining we just sucked it up and left as soon as we could at checkout.

Comfort Inn College Park North: what do users think?

Jays World: It's literally a homeless shelter. If you want to purchase drugs and or watch people stumble around drunk go for it. This hotel has made Beltsville a bad neighborhood. We now have police here all the time and two shootings in the past five months. This place is nasty and needs to be shut down.

Teekiss williams: The hotel has been converted into a warm nights shelter for the homeless and quarantine for Covid-19. The hotel is old and smells of mold. The carpets has a smell, the bathroom leaked and the wifi service wasn't operable. The ice machines never work and the staff is very unprofessional. But i must say they are great with helping people to obtain their needed benefits and finding housing.I was placed in transition housing after 2 months

John Sakers: There was just a lot of little things wrong during our stay. The faucets in the bathroom are poorly designed. Every hand wash left a puddle. The vents in the bathroom were dirty. The breakfast was very poorly staffed - all the food was gone by 9:30 am. The staff was accommodating, but not nice. The room and bed were fine, but the stay was not as nice as it could have been.

nadine gudger: The venue for the wedding was a walk across from the hotel. The overall stay, I would recommend until the staff and policies are put in place, I would not stay there again. Housekeeping come into your room without knocking first. Or when they did knock it was only once and they walk in take your wash clothes and towels and leave.i talked to the front desk and was told we would get clean towels and wash cloth between 1/4pm. I then asked was there a shortage and the house keeping staff should not enter a room without permission. I was yes to both. When another was called, I was told they did not hear the phone. When they tried calling the front desk they noticed there was no cord connection to the phone and outlet. Comfort inn needs to do better

Tammi Gilmore: Very quiet and convenient area. Room was very clean. Breakfast is good. Checking in the receptionist African American young heavyweight handsome guy was VERY polite. His customer service was amazing! The lady that makes breakfast (wears a head wrap majority of time) in the morning needs to check her attitude before clocking in. Also I think it's real stubborn for her to see a family at 6:57am and not even care to turn the lights on in cafeteria at least for us to prepare for breakfast. My family is here for 3 weeks after relocating from Missouri waiting on our home to be completed and I expect the service I pay for, which our weekly rates are very affordable. Besides that I love that it's pretty friendly. My ESA is very comfortable and my son has a nice amount of personal space. Would of gave it 5 stars but attitude and customer service is a huge thing to me. I expect the same respect I give out.

Loki Lowkey: The beds are hard and uncomfortable but the pillows are soft. The air conditioning goes off fast. The doors are pretty rusty and extremely difficult to open. The fridge is just empty. The pool is dangerous , the pool floor is scratchy cuts people easily. But the best pro's about my stay was that the breakfast🍳☕ was delicious and reminded me of home. And the service was absolutely amazing I loved it. The rooms were pretty close to clean.
Response: Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the breakfast and found the customer service was exceptional. I am sorry to hear the comfort of the guestroom, and trouble with the door as well as the outdoor pool did not meet your expectations. The fridge in the room are not stocked, they area always empty. Thank you for reporting your concerns so we may address them and take the steps to correct that. The appropriate team will review this further and make the changes they can moving forward. Sincerely, Comfort Inn College Park North

Pam Sonon: nice rooms, very clean and soft sheets. We paid to upgrade to a suite and it was well worth the money. The room was serviced despite a sign saying it wouldn't be. The was a pleasant surprise! Fantastic continental breakfast included many hot choices- eggs, bacon, sausage, and waffle maker
Response: Thank you so much for your review!

Lauren Klos: Checking in was a breeze and employees were very amicable. King bedroom was nice and clean although the carpet could use an update. I appreciate that the self-parking and breakfast buffet is included in the rate. Close to a number of shopping centers and highways so easy to grab a bite, buy any necessities, or make my way to points east or west.
Response: Thank you for your review!

nicole: Outdated rooms, mildew and cigarette smell throughout the entire hotel..not to mention limited response from hotel staff!! How disappointing this property ended up being compared to the reviews and photos. Upon check-in I was greeted with a somewhat lackadaisical attitude by hotel staff. Never was I asked what type of room would I like based on my preferences already on file. Once the entering the room you immediately notice the wear and tear on walls, furniture, and carpet. However.. the worst part would be the odor!! Stale cigarettes and perfume mixed together with dampness. This had to be the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. I’ll admit the complimentary breakfast was good. Staff kept all items refreshed and clean. Hotel location was excellent..nestled amongst routes 50, 301, 197, as well as MLK Highway. All in all I’ll more than likely never return to the this property simply because of the lack of communication and willingness to resolve guest comfortably issues.
Response: We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. When you complained to our front desk staff the morning after you checked in we did go to your room and found no trace of any odor of smoke or mildew. We did ask if you wanted to move and you declined. We hope you find another hotel that better meets your needs the next time you are in this area.

Evan Duncan: We booked at this hotel for the pool that we verified was open spent 20 minutes in the pool the first night and the next day its chained shut cause it sprinkled in the morning. The forecast for the rest of the day is nice and it's still not opened. Rooms are decent for a hotel all the staff are very friendly. Also maintenance is lazy and didn't open the pool because they didn't feel like cleaning it. Worst hotel ever.
Response: We are sorry our pool was not open due to the weather. Our forecast showed that after the morning storms there were still potential storms later in the day. We hope you find another hotel that better meets your needs the next time you are in this area.

Rhea Washington: My visit was amazing, my husband and I were regulars before we got married in September 2021. However, today 3/6/22 the front desk woman didn’t allow me to do a late check out regardless whether I was a regular. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated she wasn’t available. When I checked out the manager was at the front desk. I will stick to more seasoned staff from now on! The room was great, just the bad ending that ruined my day!
Response: Thank you for your repeat business and for your review. We are sorry that our staff did not allow you to do a late check out. We were busier this past weekend than we had anticipated. By the time you asked for a late check out the number of late check out requests we already had exceeded what our housekeeping staff could handle. We hope we can always grant you a late check out in the future.

Jen Knox: Easy on, easy off. Ample parking for any type of car/SUV/truck and trailer. Hotel appeared clean, front desk staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and well maintained and most importantly the shower had pressure even all the way on the 3rd floor. I would absolutely stay here again.
Response: Thank you so much for your review!

Willmarie Davila Austin: We just arrived, and I just want to say that this is a breath of fresh air. We came to lay our family member to rest, and had an awful night at another hotel. We didn't sleep at all there. We just got here after the funeral, and I need to write this quickly because a nap is on my horizon before we explore later and sleep some more before the burial. Anastaja checked us in, and I wanted to hug her because after so many emotions and an awful experience, this was like seeing our own bed and our own home. We will be well rested for tomorrow's emotions and 6 hour drive back home.
Response: Thank you so much for your review! We are so sorry for your loss and we are glad that we were able to provide you with some much needed comfort.

American Express: This is a great hotel to stay in if you are in the Bowie area visiting or close to that area . The comfort INN really lives up to its name , I could stay in my room all day. The big windows with plenty natural sunlight coming thru and a great view of the pool and patio decks. The room was spacious and clean , came with microwave, cable TV with a few good cartoon channel for children and HBO movie channels and other good movie channels. WIFI is fast and beds are super crisp and comfortable. There is coffee and tea in your room and the showers have big head that feel like rainfall, so satisfying. The bathrooms have big mirrors and are also very spacious, deep bathtubs and super clean and white tile. Housekeeping also put make up removers in the bathroom which was a huge PLUS , I actually forgot mine in New York so I was happy they provided those with the room lol . The breakfast was delicious, the biscuits and country gravy 🤤 their bacon and the countless other things to choose from . It is a full hot breakfast buffet with cereal and a cool waffle maker kids enjoy !! Those waffles are big and filling , yogurt and bagels , also had options between hard boil eggs and scramble, exceeded my expectations honestly on the breakfast tip . I walked away satisfied with the taste and quality of food . The hotel is very convenient, laundry and fitness center on the first floor and also a nice size pool in the back with a few patio chairs and table with umbrella , beautiful. Lastly, the staff . My favorite person there was Jackie in house keeping , I believe she is a manager and rightfully so . I love her energy and her welcoming attitude, I felt so comfortable going to her if I needed anything or any information about the area , she was such a joy and good personality . She really made my stay that much more comfortable, I felt good spirits from the staff here overall nit one complaint, from the woman running the dinning area who always made sure the juice at breakfast stay filled and made sure the buffet were neat and the food presentation were up to par , to the woman on the fourth floor cleaning me room , she was so kind and polite and always asked before entering my room , I appreciate the kindness and happy faces I seen with staff , the energy was good in there . Hopefully when I return , because I definitely will be Staying here from now on when I come to Maryland , I hope to see Jackie again , she truly made my stay that much more special and I hope she can see this review and I’ll see her again soon ! The girl with the flexi rods 😂 beautiful soul .
Response: Thank you so much for your very informative review and our staff, especially Jackie (who will definitely be here), look forward to your next visit!

Comfort Inn Arlington Boulevard: what do users think?

Alabama OUTSIDErs: We really enjoyed this hotel! Our room (320) was practically brand new, and everything was clean and nice-smelling. There may have been remodeling going on in other parts of the hotel, but we couldn't hear it. The only evidence of the work was some light construction by the front desk and the materials trailers on one side of the property. As far as location, you can't really beat it. If you're brave enough to drive around the metro area, you can be in downtown DC/National Mall in 15-20 minutes. Arlington Boulevard is very easy to navigate, and there are a ton of eating and shopping options right across the highway from the hotel. There's also a McDonald's and 7-11 next to the hotel and the neighborhood did not seem unsafe to walk in. For the money, I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better place this close to DC.

Daniel McThenia: Not bad. You could tell it is an old building and starting to get run down. The shower head was mildewy. The bed was very comfortable. I meant to find out who makes their pillows. I liked their pillows more than my MyPillow. That's saying a lot. The hotel is in a good location.

Lolita Pollard-Kezele: The rooms are remodeled and nice. The outside need to be renovated. The halls need attention too. They were working on it but it isn’t done. They had a big school crowd. It’s important to plan for this during breakfast time. We just left and went to get our own breakfast at Denny’s. But I would stay here again because the room was comfortable.

Colette: Great hotel. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast isnt terrible and everything is clean. However, at the time of my stay, they were demolishing the floor above my room and from 8 AM to 6 PM there was constant banging and drilling right above my room. Insanely loud. They offered me a new room but I had a lot of stuff and a cat and decided against it. I just wish they had thought not to put anyone in a room that was that loud.

Pepper Mann: First time driving in Arlington, VA. Trying to find the Comfort Inn. Access to the road of the Comfort Inn can be confusing, even though we were using a navigation system. We had to circle around for about ten minutes to finally get into the parking lot. Otherwise, we were able to enjoy our time there. Shopping and restaurants are in walking distance.

Tom Lewis: This is a very nice place. I am a diamond member. Hotel has recently been remodeled it is beautiful! I would stay here again is your apartment complex

Lea Crittenden: Rooms were under renovation, we stayed in a newer room. Beds comfortable, breakfast was ok. Location was within driving distance to DC without paying a high price.

Rose Alexis: Hotel doesnt offer a shuttle and they dont have a pool anymore FYI. I loved their new renovated rooms id deff stay here again. lobby needs renovation as well thats all.

May Fung: Newly renovated. Room size is traditionally the same. Bathroom is clean. Suggestions for the details: more hanging hooks/towel hangers for bathroom, light above full size mirror, light for service bar. Cushions and end tables for loveseat, a sitting chair at corner near window or a dresser. Right now the room is sparce and not comfortable nor practical. Only two small drawers at service table. Loveseat is hard and deep, need some cushions to soften it.

Ronald Byrd: I get some personal time every weekend. I choose to come here. They rooms are clean, smell nice. They come with microwave, so you can reheat your food. Even the check out time is later. I'd say 12pm, that's awesome 😎😎😎
Response: It's good to hear from you and we greatly appreciate that you've taken the time to share your five star experience at our hotel! It's rewarding to learn that we exceeded your expectations with the accommodations, hospitality and cleanliness of our guest rooms. We appreciate your loyalty and we are looking forward to seeing you again, Ronald!

Diego Martinez de Hoz: Room itself is not bad and has been updated in the last year or two but the bathroom hasn’t and it desperately needs a complete renovation, it has caked in dirt and the toilet seat was broken. Lady at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming, almost like she was doing me a favor by checking me in.
Response: Know that your voice is of tremendous importance to us, Diego! We value your business and thank you for the insight, especially regarding our staff and your comments about our rooms. We hope that you will return as it is our ongoing goal to surpass expectations of service and accommodations.

Luis Gronek: The room was a mess. Old, small and not really clean. There was hair on the floor. The service and the reception were unmotivated. The breakfast contained only a waffle maker and joghurt and some cornflakes. The cofee was really undrinkable. Very poor motel with flickery lights for the capitol city Washington.
Response: I want to sincerely apologize for the negative experience that you had, especially with the room and staff during your recent stay with us. Please know that guest satisfaction is our utmost priority and we take what you have shared very seriously. Your review has been shared with management so that appropriate measures can be taken to improve on the issues you mentioned. Thank you for sharing your rating, Luis!

Christina Roman: My experience in booking and attempting to check into my room was HORRIBLE. So horrible, that I left and found a new place to stay. First of all, I booked the room through Choice Hotels, since that is what the hotel belongs to, for 4 people. Upon arriving, the very rude manager told me that I couldn’t have 4 people because “the beds are too close together” and I “should have called because each location has different policies.” I would understand if I booked through a third party, but this was absolutely unacceptable. I tried to look past it and accept the key, and when I got to my room the outside light wasn’t working so it was completely dark, and the key did not work!!! After trying to get in for 20 minutes, I went back to the front to request a refund. The lady was extremely unsympathetic to the situation, rude, and dismissive. I called back the next day to speak to the owner of the hotel and the same horrible lady answered with the sow horrible customer service.
Response: We are so sorry to learn about this incident during your recent stay. This is certainly not taken lightly and has been forwarded to management for review. Providing our guests with an enjoyable experience is of extreme importance to us and for that reason we are incredibly sorry that we missed the mark. We hope to earn your business on future travels so that you can see our continuous improvement.

virgini kemuh: Very horrible smell 😫. It seems people take drugs inside the hotel rooms and i think is not good for people's health.I didn't sleep the whole night, room air was not good. Please this place is terrible. Very old furnitures. It is not a good place to stay.
Response: We are so sorry to let you down, Virgini! Thanks for taking the time to let us know about these issues with the air in the room and furniture you were not impressed with. We strive to deliver exceptional service, and we missed the mark. We will work internally to make adjustments and improve our service and guest experience.

Meredith Waye: Very friendly desk staff. Was patient and helpful. Gave us various options for room accommodations especially for a holiday weekend.
Response: Thank you for the five star rating, Meredith! We are thrilled your stay with us was so amazing! We strive to go above and beyond to ensure our guests have a great experience. It's not surprising that our staff took such great care of you and made you feel so comfortable. They are important members of our team! We hope to see you again for another great time!

Quality Inn Tysons Corner: what do users think?

Rob Hornaman: Good hotel to stay in if you don’t want to pay big rates. Located about 12 miles outside of DC. About a 40-45 minute Metro ride into DC. Metro station is only a 10 minute walk away. Rooms could be updated a little. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning. Currently not doing daily housekeeping during pandemic but understandable. Free parking but need a permit which you will get at check in time. Only issue I had was a person yelling and being loud at 2am. Had to call the Police in order for him to be quiet. Eventually he did get quiet. Easy access to local restaurants, shopping centers and freeways. I’ve stayed here every time I’ve been in DC. When and if I return to the area, more than likely will stay here again!!
Response: Thank you for business and feedback.

Tatiana Orekhova: Really enjoyed staying here. Clean room, comfy bed, microwave, pretty big fridge, coffeemaker. Nice breakfast with fruits, yogurt, omelette, waffles and etc. Beautiful, quite aria with garden, gazebo. If it’s necessary, walking distance from a subway and Walmart. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Thanks a lot.
Response: Thank you for the positive feedback. We appreciate your business.

Rob: The white front desk manager is extremely rude, condescending and immature. In response to a request for a ground floor room facing the inner courtyard his response was "You dont get to choose your room." He acted like the hotel was super popular and fully booked and was super condescending with no hospitality and customer service skills. You are in the hospitality business your job is to be hospitable and fulfill the needs and wants of your guests as best as you can because that is how the business works. There is a reason resorts and hotels are classified under Tourism and Hospitality. Obviously this ignorant and condescending manager is oblivious to that fact and has no idea how to run a hotel.
Response: Thank you for sharing your experience. We apologize for the situation.

Jen Millenium: Great hotel! You need to stay here especially if you want an affordable rate, also the room are very comfy, clean and big, I had a good time in here!
Response: Thank you for sharing. We hope to see you in the near future.

J. Lamar H.: It's a nice place I went there to catch up with a friend that was in town room was clean they seemed to enjoy it I would recommend the place since one of my friends was staying there so I cannot save for me but they did mention that the staff was attentive but not as friendly as they're used to when they travel.
Response: Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate you staying with us.

Vicki Behrens: Just two easy walking blocks to the train into Washington DC attractions; cheaper and less stressful than driving into the city. Hotel staff was receptive to the notice that our microwave did not have a glass plate on the turntable...even though we said we weren't going to be using it (didn't want to be charged for it being missing or something)...we had a replacement a few hours after notifying the front desk. Beds were comfortable; room was clean.
Response: Thank you for the feedback. Hope we have the pleasure of serving you once again in the near future.

Comfort Inn Herndon-Reston: what do users think?

John Tusting: Unbelievably gross. Despite being told this is a non-smoking property, we woke up smelling like we slept in an ashtray, even after a shower and change of clothes. As far as the shower, no hot water. Even after waiting 5 minutes it was only lukewarm. I can't begin to understand all the positive reviews, maybe people think they don't deserve better. The facility was filthy with food and trash on the hallway carpets and in the elevator. Was gnarly enough that I put shoes on to get out of bed. Our room had not been vacuumed, the refrigerator was dirty and the room had sections of carpet missing at the door as well as gross food ground into the carpet, reddish brown stains that looked like blood, a dozen cigarette burns and debris all over the floor. The smell was awful. Looks like it hasn't been refurbished in 20 years. If you have a choice, I highly recommend you spend a couple of extra bucks for any reputable hotel. This was easily the nastiest motel I've ever stayed at and was a ripoff at $112/night. As soon as we saw the room we canceled our second night stay immediately. Rebooked at a local Westin and are enjoying a clean smoke-free room tonight for just a few dollars more.

Bashan Isaac: Ok so the elevator here is really weird and I'm sketchy about riding the ones that doors take 3 minutes to close. The service was pretty cool because not to long after having to call the front desk about a loud banging sound that woke my girlfriend and I up out of our sleep I'm guessing that person I talked to had it stopped. Overall the room was not that clean it was the usual of what I expected from any hotel room. No matter what I did my own cleaning upon me arriving. Good thing I did because the surfaces were filthy...

Rich: Decent hotel. Good amenities on site. Great location. Plenty of food gas and shopping nearby. Breakfast is good. Wifi is ok for free. Place is getting worn and outdated. Carpets look old and some counter tops are cracking. But it is clean and decent price for location.

Annelies Van Brocklin: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, there are gaps in upkeep. There were holes in the elevator where it looked like someone had taken the handle off. The handle was fixed but the holes were still there. There was also a hole in the doorframe in our bathroom and my husband found a roach in the bathroom. The bathroom door was very sticky. There was also a meal left in the fridge from the last guest that was not thrown away by the cleaning staff.

David Morrison: Well seemed ok. Safe quiet. Comfortable. A bit outdated but ok. Had a bed shower mini-fridge and microwave. Got shower before checking out and saw someone looking at me... OMG it was not the housekeeper but a roach at eye level. Antenna twitching. I think he laughed. Down the drain he went hot water and all. 20 mins of nice hot water to burn and drown him. 1 minute later he crawls back up.. Hmm. Thinking I will not return. Also smells of urine and BO on elevator.
