Cherry Hill Park: what do users think?

Eric Isaacson: I had high expectations and they were well met. So much of the staff was just so friendly and actually trying to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I even saw a lifeguard smiling while watching kids play in the pool. They're just happy and helpful and care. The facilities were great. We played in the pool, did laundry, enjoyed their out door movie night, played on multiple playgrounds, and sat in the hot tub. You'll want to make sure you have a support slinky for your sewer hose though as their drain pipes are a little elevated. also, just a heads up that the Cherry Hill bus line that starts and ends at the gate is not super dependable and just doesn't show sometimes, twice for us. That's not the campgrounds fault, just a heads up for visitors. On this trip, we've seen Mt. Rushmore, the Statue of Liberty, the Gateway Arch, the National Mall, and the Smithsonian Zoo (to name a few) but Cherry Hill is the favorite destination for some of my kids and in the top few for all of them. This was a sad place to move out of as we continued our trip. Thank you!
Response: Thanks, Eric, it makes us so happy to hear that you and your family were treated well at our campground. We love our staff, and we're so glad they made such a positive impact on your stay!

Gigliotti Family: Great RV resort with lots of amenities and close to DC. We stayed for 3 nights over Easter. Sites are a little small but very clean. Bathhouses were close and also very clean. We had planned on going into DC 2 separate days but there was so much to do at the resort and our kids were having so much fun we decided to stay at the campground for 1 of the days instead of going into DC. The transportation offered to the metro was excellent and so convenient! Being novice campers, we forgot a few things but the general store at the campground had everything we needed. The cafe also has excellent food! We will definitely be back!!
Response: Thanks for camping with us - we're happy to hear your family enjoyed the amenities so much! See you next time :)

Kellie Fischer: We brought our RV in at night and they were very accommodating to helping us find our site. Jon was so kind and helpful to us our whole stay. We really appreciated his help and conversation! The location was fabulous! The young man in the camp store gave us exact directions into Washington DC and even assisted in loading subway cards so I didn't have to fuss with getting them at subway station. Great customer service! Thank you Cherry Hill Park!
Response: We agree, Jon rocks! We will pass on the compliment. We're so glad our staff helped make your trip easy and relaxing!

Desi Jerry: The camp grounds was immaculate, bathrooms were clean at all times! We stayed in the premium tent site that were well worth the extra fee. Having the lawn chairs and gazebo was wonderful… Our family will stay here again! Location was close to stores if you needed to pick up groceries. The site also supplied Ice and wood delivery!
Response: We're so glad you enjoyed the premium tent sites - thanks for camping with us, Desi!

Michael Kraxberger: What a great place! The campgrounds are huge, but because of the segmented areas, it still has a small park feel - depending on where you are located. Some areas are quite tight and look crowded, others a little more spacious. Location is everything - this is 5 minutes from the Metro station (actually 2, we always went to Greenbelt station) which will take you anywhere inside the beltway, several downtown locations, and even to Mt. Vernon. The campground also has several private tours directly into DC - we took the night tour, which was a marked difference in the standard group tour. Grounds - exceptionally maintained. Amenities - beyond expectations. DC highlights seminar at 4:00 every day - fantastic content and helpful advice about the city. 2 pools, Hot tub, and sauna, two laundry rooms, clean, spacious, well-lit bathhouses, kids programs, gated access - all above standard. This is one of the best in the country!
Response: Wow, Michael, thanks so much! We're really glad you were impressed with us, and we hope we helped make your trip to DC everything it could be. Thanks for camping with us!

Angeli: Everything was Excellent! The customer service was great. Everyone my husband and I dealt with that worked at the campground was very friendly , helpful and welcoming. The facilities ( Bathhouses) the shower stalls were keep pristine, there were very good water pressure and plenty of hot water. All of the amenities were obviously well maintained, The pool, Splash pad, miniature Golf, Basketball Court. The campground at Cherry Hill Park is a beautiful place with many areas of peaceful tranquility so you can really relax. Also the roadways are well paved and lighted to make driving at night around the campground or even walking around at night quite comfortable. We used a tent and our site #116 was great. plenty of room for our vehicle, tent and lounge chairs. A picnic table and fire was provided. Thank you to everyone at Cherry Hill Campgounds. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and are already planning a return trip later this year.
Response: We're so glad you enjoyed your trip, Angeli! Sounds like we'll see you again soon :)

Shelli Echave: Park was wonderful! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the grounds were very clean and well maintained. The laundry and showers were conveniently located and reasonably priced. The metro bus made it easy to connect to the metro line for the ride into DC. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my stay.
Response: Thanks, Shelli, we're so glad to hear that!

Jeff Dykie: Our family stayed here in a travel trailer. We chose Cherry Hill Park because of how close it is to Washington DC. Cherry Hill is fabulous! We have stayed at many campgrounds and this was one of the nicest. The pride the owners and employees have in this campground is evident when you first enter. There really are no "bad" sites. A lot to do, great store. Went to DC on the express bus, very convenient. We already booked for next summer!
Response: Thanks, Jeff - we're so glad to hear you'll be joining us again next year!

Ashley Savina: Love this park! I stayed in the couple' style dog friendly pod and it was one of the cleanest places I've stayed. It was nice having the climate control, electricity, bed, table/chairs, mini fridge and microwave for more of a "glamping" experience. It was nice having shelter during the rain as well. You do hear traffic from the highway which was like white noise to me but for some it might take away from wanting to enjoy "peace and quiet" The bath house was very clean too. This camp ground is well taken care of. Lots of activities around the park, I can't wait to come back!
Response: Thanks Ashley - we're so glad you enjoyed the pod!

Eric Wolf: This was our second trip to Cherry Hill. We were here 5 years ago and stayed in a cabin, that has since been upgraded to a Yurt. This time we came in our own camper. We would highly recommend and will definitely return when we want to visit DC again. The convenience of the location is unbeatable. They do run a bus from the campground to the nearest metro station. We opted to drive our truck to the Greenbelt station and park for a $4.95 flat rate during the week, free on weekends and get a 3 - day metro pass ($28.00) We could not have been happier with this decision. The drive in on weekdays to DC was routinely showing 1 hour on google maps. The Campground has definitely made many improvements since we were last here. The pool is a fun spot, the dog park is great, the mini golf is as good as any that would pay to go to. (there is a $1 fee per person) I was glad to pay as it kept kids from just congregating there. The workers were all very friendly. We ended up in the middle of a large group of campers who told us they were there to party. Party they did, but the campground was on top of them and shut them down promptly at 10 p.m. every day. The bathhouses were clean and maintained, as is the whole campground. It is very well kept up. The store is well stocked with groceries and essentially an RV parts store. The only negative is that there is a fair bit of highway noise, but we were okay with that since we were so close to DC.
Response: Thanks for sharing your experience with us, Eric. We agree that the Metro is the best way to avoid the often traffic-y drive into DC. We are so happy to hear that we were on top of enforcing our quiet hours - we've implemented a ranger program over the past couple of years to address this exact issue, and we're so pleased with our excellent team! We appreciate you camping with us, and we hope we'll see you again next time you're traveling in our area!

Greenbelt Campground: what do users think?

Heather Bowman: Upon checking in, realized our site was too small for our tents (a 3 person and a 1 person). We were able to switch sites but then realized the bathrooms were gross. The mens room did not have doors on the stalls which made my 10 year old son uncomfortable. The ranger was incredibly helpful and kind, but we left.

C F: So I understand that the campground has been closed for awhile and recently opened. It could definitely use some upgrades, but seems like they are working on it. Bathrooms are outdated and on the dirty side, but warm and functional. It's been below freezing at night so the tick problem isn't so bad yet, but I did find one on my dog. I imagine it will get worse as the weather gets warmer. The park is really big with trails and picnic areas, but because of the cold weather I haven't done much hiking, but the one trail I did hike was nice. The camp host is super nice and drops in to chat while doing his rounds, and was very helpful with a few things I needed and questions I had. Overall, for 20 bucks a night to be this close to DC, I can't believe that the place is not packed for cherry blossom season, but it's almost empty. It's really a nice campground and will hopefully get better if they do some upgrades, which it seems like they are.

Arndts Aren’t Staying Put: We enjoyed our time at Greenbelt Campground. This affordable option near the District was awesome for exploring the Capitol. Lots of nature and wildlife to explore at this beautiful spot. The only things we didn’t love were the tight fitting campsites, unlevel spaces, and lack of electric hookup options. Still, we recommend this park! We’re the Arndts, a family of four (+2 cats) traveling the US’ state and national parks full time. Follow us on Instagram: @arndts.arent.staying.put

Blaine Kaiser: Pretty good campground. $20/night is not terrible for how close you are to DC and metro stations to take you in via train. Spots are nice and blacktopped. The fire pit and grill in my pictures are some of the nicer ones I could find to photograph. A lot of the fire pits are pretty well destroyed. The bathrooms are probably a 6/10. I'm not sure they got cleaned the first week we were there. The showers could use more attention than what they get, the shower often times has a drain full of hair. It would be awesome if there was power provided. Overall, totally worth the stay.

Scott Schroth: Awesome camp ground. Very well kept paths and pad suites. Most camp sites have a fire cover they ask you to use for control. The cover is a great aid to help cook food or roast marshmallows. Most site areas have a picnic cable and a standing grill near by each site.

merlemcc: Stayed one night while passing through on a bike trip. Our fellow campers are quiet, but you hear some traffic noise from the city. Our campsite was washed out from heavy rain and unusable; we set up our tents on the pavement. Bathrooms were clean enough, with nice hot water in the shower, but in disrepair. In general, it looks like a park hanging on with a shoestring budget. Ranger was very friendly and took the time to chat with us.

Mirko Abad: Very peaceful. Really relaxing is worth the trip and spend a few days.

Waleed AlRayes: Online and easy booking, amazing place and close to downtown attractions

Sebastien Pilon: Perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Capitol while camping and having fun!!

Chris: Great campgrounds! Plenty of drive-in campsites with built-in picnic tables, fire pits, and warm restrooms.

Greenbelt Park: what do users think?

Rick Sussman: Though we lived in the area for nearly 25 years (Montgomery County) this was our first time here. And a wonderful time of year for camping, too, with hardly anybody else here. We spent 5 nights in D loop in our 30 ft travel trailer, using our generator throughout the day and evening as necessary. Our site was just long enough for us, fairly level and open. We spent much of our time outside the park visiting family. And as close to very urban areas as it is, in the back of the campground it almost felt remote. Sunsets were beautiful.

Na'ilah Dawkins: I gotta say as my first time coming here there is so much space, it's within 15-20 minutes, and fun for all age groups! It was my first time at the park. I was participating in 'Eco-Games' a Sierra Club event! I'm a member, I went. It was very fun! I was alarmed though at the park bathroom situation and lack of available staff concerning communicating about any concerns. The bathroom needs soap on deck and ut didn't! Thank goodness I had hand sanitizer. The women's bathroom left sink didn't work. I used the one to the right side. Disappointed. Where is the funding for national parks like this going, if bathroom necessities are lacking? More funding for our state parks are needed!

Moving on with Old Man River Old man river: I camped at this national park last night May 4th 2022. I am a tent camper and want certain things. I want a bathroom close. Before you book please know what you are booking. A great number of the camping sites have (for me) too much of a slant. I drove around took the number of different campsites and then booked They charge 20.00 per night and have the discount rate of half price for the disabled card holders. The park is close to Washington DC.

Richard C. IV: With miles of unpaved trails meandering through a lush and verdant forest teaming with life, it is easy to forget you are inside the capital beltway. The freshly repaved roads throughout the park are a magnet for road bikes zipping up and down the small hills. Truly a wonderful outdoor oasis in the heart of the DMV.

Jarmonay Nelson: This place is decent. When you have a group of first time, campers or children. I did not like that. The people drove around all throughout the night. I mean it's safe. They make sure that we're safe, but it was like kind of annoying when your children are trying to sleep and they still have their high beams on making sure that there's no fire or anything. . This place has a lot of bugs like of every kind I seen so many bugs in the bathroom at our campsite and the grass just everywhere hanging out spiders all types of critters. This place definitely had a lot of extra wood and trees around to help you grow better fire. I like that they had a clean bathroom and a water pump. This campground feels like a big community and I like that, but I also love privacy so I probably won't come back unless I invite a big group of children or friends who want to experience camping. You can hear the police cars and the city still. And that's not very peaceful but overall we enjoyed the stay.

Favio Urla: Plenty of parking alway a plus; and benches. No parking or entrance fee. Has a short trail and a long trail (1.4 miles). Pet friendly, but do please pickup after your friends 🐕💩 droppings.

Mike Jones: Nice park in urban area. Hosted 40 years of Wednesday night bike racing, which is the only reason I go there!

Sean Troxell: The roads and parking lots are open again. We had a nice walk with the kiddos on a brisk sunny day.

Stick X: Its a nice campground with a nice area and also provides showers (not many campgrounds provide showers). Although, the camping sites are really close to each other and it kinda feels a little weird camping 10 feet away from an entire other family. Although the trails are nice.

Hannah T: Great campsite for our tent camping with kids. Had large lots and no gravel camping pad. We got a no electricity lot that Included water nearby and a shower/bathroom nearby and great trails for walking. We did find a Lone Star Tick on one of our party while at the campgrounds. Hadn’t realized they were in the area.

Washington DC / Capitol KOA Holiday: what do users think?

RandThrockM: Good place to getaway and relax. Bathroom and showers we're well maintained. Campsites a little close to each other but neighbors were friendly. Hiking trail not bad, need more and clear markings as well as bushes need to be trimmed some on the path. Inside the registration/store we met one of the best workers there, sorry feel bad can't remember this older gentleman's name. Very helpful and polite throughout our whole stay, definitely deserves kudos for going over and beyond his job. 👍🏽 If staying longer, there are some good shopping and activities nearby.

Nicole Neumann: I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. The staff was not friendly/helpful at ALL. My family and I live in our camper and are just passing through the DC area. Thank GOD it is only a 2 night stay. My kids went to the jump pad and I was sitting outside of my camper watching them, however the staff would not allow that. Even though, there were 3 other kids on the jump pad with no parents in sight. I was at least watching my children. Once the staff decided to tell me they could not jump unless I was STANDING at the fence line, we tried to mention that there were other children up there with no parents around and instead of having a grown up conversation, the staff decided to drive away on their golf cart in the middle of us talking to them. They were extremely rude. The staff is truly watching your every step, so if you like having baby sitters, then by all means, this is the campground for you. On top of the unfriendly staff, the facility is filthy. The pool is now open for the summer and the water is GREEN. You would think after being closed all winter, they would have had it cleaned and ready for opening week. I would NEVER stay here again, nor would I even recommend this campground to my worst enemy.

Mia Fish: It was good enough for what we needed. It was off season and we were happy to get a place to stay. Our spot wasn’t great due to the size of our rig and the spot was up an incline then we had to go back and forth to find most level spot. Other spots much more level but in all fairness we might have asked for this spot not realizing how it was in real life. Easy to get to in snd out. No narrow barriers. You can unhook right outside check in office. I’d definitely stay again.

Anne Byrnes: Worst experience at a KOA ever. We found one staff member to be blatantly rude and condescending during our stay. He was abrasive and challenging to my husband in tone and manner. It was totally inappropriate and unnecessary. The showers and restrooms have bugs everywhere. They keep the doors to these areas open 24 hrs a day so anything could crawl into the area. Disgusting. The water is cold and the shower stalls so small you can't move. Overall the place is dirty. We've always stayed at KOA campgrounds and never had this type of experience prior. Keep driving and avoid this place.

Lill_Ginge: After staying here, my views on this location are severely altered. Aside from the low cost and distance to the city, everything was negitve, the largest problems being with a complete lack of hot water in the showers and sink. It was also next to a large highway and a airport which isn't really the "camping adventure" anyone is looking for. While my stay was enjoyable, this was only due to my family's presence.

Dr. Mott: Capital KOA only receives 1 star. We stayed at a "premium site" ($100). We arrived to a dirty fire ring and a non working grill. They cleaned the fire ring and disassembled the grill but never fixed it. They left the gas on and it smelled terrible so I turned it off. Most of the staff is polite but a few are indifferent. The bathrooms were not cleaned frequently but were not terrible. I stay here twice a year every year but will not be back. It's not worth the price even though the location is central to DC, Annapolis and Baltimore.

Julie Moore: My daughter came down with a fever the day before our arrival. She also developed a cough. We called to cancel our reservations to do the right thing even though of course we were disappointed to not have our family vacation. I called ahead, but it was not 48 hours ahead. We would have called 48 hours if she fell ill the day before. I was told that I would be charged the first night. The receptionist said that she would speak to the manager and she was sure that given the circumstances, it would be refunded. I still have not been refunded and I've called several times to resolve this. I would have used the site and kept our distance if we had known that we would have not been refunded. I am very disappointed in this KOA. Seems like they would rather people come sick than encourage people to do the right thing.

MaryBeth L: I’ve been a slacker about my reviews but I’m making a point to leave a review because clearly some of the issues haven’t been resolved. We stayed in March. Staff did not make clear what check in process was and i didn’t personally hear from them until I contacted them that there was no hot water in the showers. We were told they were “on the list” and it should be fixed next week and in the mean time to use the showers by the pool. Clearly that hasn’t been resolved. Also - the name is a misnomer because it’s nearly an HOUR to get into the Capitol area most days. I’d stay here again if I had to but it won’t be my first choice. I let them keep 3 stars because the sites were level, they had FHU and facilities - even if they weren’t very useful, and they had a playground.

Dean Krebs: They had no hot water in the rest rooms. I was very happy to be able to shower in our trailer. I have, however, stayed there many times in the past going back to the late 70s with our children and grandchildren and had wonderful times, so I won't give up on them for one bad week.

Alecia Burke: Update: they charged my debit card without authorization because I was a guest to a camper and I left after 12. I never signed anything so this is illegal. This KOA leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the staff were nice, some, not so much! Rules changed depending on who you spoke to, and so did prices. Guests went from $10 (5 per person) to $15 (5 per person and per car). The pool was closed for the season (we visited in JUNE). Not worth the price. Poorly planned sites that are close to each other and have no pathways in between, so you have to walk ALL the way around all of the sites to get to the playground, if you're parked in the middle of the campground. The playground didn't have enough gravel, so you can see the very bottom of the playground (the part that's supposed to be buried). I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Marine Barracks: what do users think?

Kaitlyn Schnellbacher: Visited for the Evening Parade with family to watch our Marine. Had an amazing time listening to the history behind the parade and the fantastic performances of the The President's Own United States Marine Band, The Commandant's Own United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Silent Drill Platoon. From before the performance where the Marines greet and answer questions to the performances and afterwards when you get to interact with the distinguished guests, the Marines, and Chesty XVI! Definitely worth coming out on a Friday to enjoy a performance. Reserve your tickets ahead of time to choose a section but there isn't a bad seat in the house!

Kenneth Birkhofer: As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, it has been on my bucket list to visit Marine Barracks 8th & I. Today I made it happen and had the opportunity to reflect on the history and tradition of this monumental landmark. What an incredible experience; Semper Fi and God Bless my fellow Marines, all service members of our military, and the United States of America.

Arohra Lights: I loved this place. Full of culture, history, and motivation. The Friday evening ceremony was amazing and choked up during taps. Make sure to reserve your tickets in advance!! Everyone should go if you are visiting the DC area.

Dale Morrill: An amazing experience for all. The oldest active USMC post in the world. Get your tickets in advance online. Give yourself plenty of time to park and arrive. I found it just as easy and faster to walk from the parking location on M Street versus riding the bus. All of the Marines are extremely kind and helpful. The parade lasts about 2 hours. Marching band, Silent Drill team, Marine Corps mascot, honored guest(s), lowering of flag, Taps and more. A true honor to witness.

c walter: I would give this more stars if I could! If you visit DC, you have to attend this event! I can’t say enough! I wish I could post videos for you all to see how fantastic this is! I attended the event for July 4th. No better place to be than in our nation’s capital during this time of year-very patriotic.

Jason Harrold: Semper Fidelis! To all those who served in the beloved Marine Corps, to those who are currently serving and to those who will one day step onto the yellow footprints Semper Fi and thank you for your service. I was privileged and honored to attend a night at the Marine Corps Barracks. the Oldest and most prestigious barracks in the corps. The performance of the Marines was spectacular. I rode my motorcycle across the US from Los Angeles to DC for Memorial Day and this was a HUGE Highlight of the trip. If you are a Marine, you need to visit.

Isaac Holt: This base is the oldest USMC installation in the country. The Marine Barracks is the source of the name of the area it is situated in, Barracks Row. Every Friday evening during the summer try host an event called Evening Parade which lasts about an hour long. This event features lots of impressive drill movements and songs, all of which have a historical background much like the installation.

Rakim Means: Being a Marine and going to this place for the first time was a great experience. This place has a lot of tradition and history. We got to take a tour of the barracks and see the Commandants house. It is a little bit weird watching the Marine walk around in the camouflage uniform while out in town.

Gabriel Garcia: This is a great place to visit. Every Friday starting in May the Marine Corps put on a great show. This is the best of the best Marines. I know occasionally a special guest will make an appearance. On the day that I attended the VP of the US was there. Again this is a great place to see whether you are military or not. Go and support of Marines.

Austin Graff: On the south end of Capitol Hill's Barracks Row is the longest standing Marine barracks in the country built by Thomas Jefferson in 1801. Within the barracks is one of the oldest houses in the city built in 1803 to house the commandants of the entire Marines. The commandant still lives in the house. From March/April through August every year, the Marine band puts on free concerts on Fridays for the community. All are welcome!

REI Co-op: what do users think?

Michael Brown: As a company, REI should not inflict their political beliefs onto customers. That said, they carry good gear and this particular location is fantastic. Every time I have come here they have exactly what I need. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. I don’t know who makes REI branded clothes and gear, but they do a good job.

Mike R: I like this store for so many reasons. First: they have excellent customer service. Today I walked in with my bike to get my flat tire fixed. A woman approached me and signed me in. Then a man walked up to me and asked if I would like to him to park my bike. I was appalled by this gesture. Second: This establishment has everything here. I mean like… leave that bike area if you want to. You will be buying anything from energy gel to underwear. Third: conveniently located right beside the metro.

Anne Probst: Thank you Jeremy in cycling for taking care of my bike I commute on. Haley assisted and was down to earth and happy. High five to Micah in footwear who helped me find a size in a scarpa I haven’t been able to find in stores in 4 years. He’s super knowledgeable and was connecting with all the customers. Thank you REI DC!

Patrick F.: The 2 stars is not for the products, it's for the lack of service. Lord forbid you need some help. I waited forever even after pushing this button (photo) and a guy that was helping someone else acknowledged they heard me and would be coming. Still waiting as I type this. FYI, I have purched thousands from this store....sigh!!

Louisa Buatti: I visited REI for the first time since the pandemic began. My pick up of an online order went very smoothly. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful--they all offered to direct me to the customer service/pick up area. I was in and out of the store in a flash.

Andrea Wu: I came here to pick up my shoes that I ordered online, and after trying them out in nature, they were too big so I came back to return and get new ones. The staff helping me was very helpful, bringing me different shoes for me to try on. I finally got a pair that fit properly, and checkout was pretty speedy too. Parking on the street might be a bit tough, but it's not too bad!

H Gill: Great store! love REI… but checking out here is always a 15 min wait. The checkout line moves at a snail’s pace, and the managers/supervisors don’t seem to care. I’ve seen customers put items down and leave out of frustration.

Rebecca Tolbert: Generally a good store, but the parking situation is currently very weird. You park in the parking deck and then have to walk all the way around a whole city block because they have blocked off the elevator and stairs. So, you drive into the parking deck and then have this surprise journey ahead of you, through a sketchy alley and everything. Just wanted to give other customers a heads up!

Ben Layton: Bike shop effectively closes at 6:30, not 7:00, since you have to get on a wait-list to get the bike checked in and the wait-list closes at 6:30. Called in advance and told them when I'd get there and they didn't mention that, so came all the way here for nothing. Turnaround on basic repairs also 9-10 days rn, which is honestly nuts.

R: Oddly enough they aren’t dog friendly yet I saw a pitbull walking around without a service vest. The area around is horrendous, good luck finding a parking spot. Really disappointed that REIs aren’t dog friendly yet their competitors REI and Bass Pro is.

USA for UNHCR: what do users think?

FuangYing Huang: I made a donation and received a second email receipt for a "monthly gift" that I didn't make and it had been charged to my credit card. I reply to the email where it says "for any question, call ... or reply to this email" only to get a failure to deliver message. I left a message on the number provided, no one returned my call. Two weeks later now during office hours I have been on hold for 20+ min.

Craig Jay: About 60 cents of every dollar you donate gets to any "cause." The rest goes to salaries and fund-raising expenses (to raise more money - sort of like a charity ponzi-scheme). You decide if that is how you want your charity dollars spent.

Steve Ger: Still trying to figure out how they got my card information. And started charging me. This is fraud. Beware of these guys !!!!!!!!! I called them and they can't find me in their system ANYWHERE!!! All they want is every bit of info about you they can get. So they charge my credit card but then can't find me in their system. WOW!!!!!!!

Grand Hyatt Washington: what do users think?

Joshua Russell: The Grand Hyatt is a very large hotel near Chinatown, just a couple blocks from Capital One Arena. They have a covered car pull through if you are arriving by car which is nice in case of bad weather but can get a bit busy as it doesn’t seem anyone really is directing people. Once inside the check in desk is to the left rear of the very large lobby. The front desk staff is very nice and efficient. We were able to get checked in very quickly and able to get to our room with ease. The elevators are at the back of the lobby. There were about 6 elevators so you don’t have to wait long to catch one. The room is very spacious and very comfortable with a very nice sitting chair as well as a desk. We had a king bed and it was very comfortable, though one extra pillow would have been nice as there were three pillows so if there are two people both could have two. The bathroom is nice as well with good shower with perfect amount of water pressure. One thing you will notice is that in the hallways and lobby areas they are pumping a scent through the ventilation system. While I found it very nice others may be turned off by it. Overall it was a good hotel in a great location.

Melissa Marie: Great hotel location and close to major tourist areas and shopping. Room was a little dirty in places, but nothing major. The bathroom mirror still had water spots. Desk was dusty and chair had crumbs in it. The shower head was not adjustable and shoots straight out instead of downward. You may not get told at check in what the amenity fee includes. If you ask, they will give you a paper, so you will know what you are entitled to. There is a Starbucks and restaurant inside the hotel. Hotel serves breakfast for free if you are a high level Hyatt member or you can pay for it. The gift shop offers a variety of items, not just souvenirs. Self parking garage is also connected to hotel. It costs $45/day with no in and out privileges. Valet is $62/day, but does include unlimited in and out. The garage elevator goes straight up to hotel lobby. The Metro station is in basement area of hotel and easily accessible to get to and from hotel. Staff was super friendly.

R. Michael Burns: I really liked my room here -- modern yet cozy, with comfy beds and a cool view into the lovely atrium. Huge TV, cute little mini-fridge with a window so you're somewhat less likely to forget things in it. The bathroom was very spacious, not the claustrophobic closet you so often get, and the shower was easy to adjust, something else I've found is not always true. There was a little confusion checking in because of how my school was paying for the rooms, but the front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful and did a great job of resolving the issue. Every interaction I had with the front desk staff was friendly and efficient -- great hospitality. There are also enough elevators to serve the place effectively even when it's busy, which may seem like a small thing, but if you have ever stayed in a large hotel without enough elevators, you know what a huge inconvenience it can be. The hotel is also a very short walk from Chinatown, the convention center, various Smithsonian buildings, and the National Mall, as well as plenty of good restaurants. My only tiny complaints are that the elevators are all at one end of the atrium, and my room was at the exact opposite end, so it was a bit of a walk to my room or the elevators every time I went out. That, and there's a strangely small number of channels available on the hotel's cable service, but those are pretty minor things compared to all the good stuff. The hotel isn't cheap, but if you can afford it, it's worth it. I'd stay again without hesitation.

Nene W.: I spent Christmas night at Grand Hyatt Washington this year. It was my second time with them and I had a wonderful time! The staffs were really nice and helpful. If you like to drink and chill, don’t forget to check out their bar. The room was clean and comfortable. Plus, they also have the best breakfast which is available from 7-10am. I will definitely go back to this hotel more often. It was a great experience!

RITA LIN: We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so polite, nice, respectful, friendly and accommodating. The only concern we had was, wishing the vent in the bathroom would have been stronger. The mirrors would fog up easily during a hot shower even with the door open. Over all though , a very relaxing stay, we will return once we are back in town. Thank you!

Hampus Engstroem: Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! Great hotel location and close to major tourist areas and shopping. The garage elevator goes straight up to hotel lobby. The Metro station is in basement area of hotel and easily accessible to get to and from hotel. Staff was super friendly.

Kim Nguyen: The Grand Hyatt is located near Chinatown and it’s extremely convenient for us to get around. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay. The online check-in process was easy and quick. I was able to request for early check-in and got our room by 12pm instead of 3pm. That was definitely a plus in my book. The hotel lobby was really massive and beautifully designed. During our stay, there was a medical conference. It was busier than usual and we had to wait some time for the elevator. Our room is across from the Sax restaurant and lounge, so it was really loud at night. There were a lot of honking, screaming, and car noise. Overall, it was a good stay for us. Oh, they also have a Starbucks right inside the hotel.

Casey Meyer: Beautiful modern interior hall with an awesome chandelier. Front desk was extremely nice, and the gentleman who helped us get our luggage in was beyond courteous. Rooms are typical- nothing special, not that that's a bad thing. Little decals on each of the walls in every room is a cool addition.

Doug Gwilliam: First time in DC for a weekend getaway found me booking 4 nights at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel lobby is stunning and mesmerizing to look at. The location is amazing even with a Metro stop right off the lobby! The National Mall is a 12 minute walk. Everything else is pretty average. This hotel has a "destination fee" which is just another way to get money out of customers, taking a page from Marriott Hotels. Among other things, the $20 DAILY fee, includes water and a Metro card. The Metro card is worth $3 and I had to ask for it at check in. The employee didn't know what it was and had to go ask. You pay the $20 fee DAILY, yet you only get one $3 Metro card per stay. We stayed 4 nights and would have expected 4 x $3 on the Metro card. Nope. As a Globalist, most everything else included with the fee is already included, which is probably why Globalists get the fee waived. Still, very silly to even have the fee. Oh, it also includes a Wine Magazine in your room! Who wouldn't want to pay $20 a day for that! If I didn't get the fee waived, I would have asked for it to be waived as it provides very little. We had access to the club lounge, which is where this hotel served the breakfast and evening snacks for Globalists as well. Having been used to having breakfast in the dining room usually, this would be our first club lounge to use for breakfast. The breakfast was a pretty good spread with yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs (although very runny), bacon, toast and a few other items. Although pretty good, there was no variety - every morning was the same. No pancakes, waffles, no difference. Breakfast in the dining room definitely would have been better. The same happened for the evening snacks. Salad, meatballs, pasta, sliders - pretty substantial, but no variety day to day. If you're staying 1 night, the breakfast and evening snacks would be great. The Grand Hyatt offered no globalist recognition. At most of my other hotel stays, I got an email about a week before, asking me if there was anything I needed for my stay and welcoming me. Nothing. When I checked in, I saw in the app there was an upgraded room available, but when I asked at the front desk, I was told it wasn't available. The room was average, nothing special. What made this hotel work so well, is the location. So easy to catch the Metro - with an entrance right in the hotel lobby (only open weekdays though), otherwise, you just walk outside half a block. You can also walk to just about everywhere else, with the National Mall being a 12 minute walk. Overall, the stay was pretty average, but made for a good home base for everything we wanted to do.

Haresh Joshi: I must say that it was a pleasure being taken care of by Alyce. She is the best. Every time I was there, I couldn't help but wonder how she takes care of every single guest with that smile and enthusiasm. She went above and beyond in ensuring everyone got what they wanted. Personally for me, I wanted croissants and they were gone when I went. She made sure they were delivered to my room. I was just amazed :) Thanks once again to all your front desk and Alyce. They are your assets.

Prince William Forest RV Campground: what do users think?

Hope Cico: The campsites were kind of small and the site we were in was not level at all. I think we just had a bad spot, though, because other sites looked much nicer. The roads were paved, which was great for the kids riding bikes and scooters. They also had a very nice playground. We will probably come back, but request a different site.

Nina Marie: *Edit - Nice office lady asked what type of dog we had but stated they do not have breed restrictions. Wanted to add b/c someone could be ruining business based on a review below. We stayed one night in C8 with a 26 ft RV and toad. We had hoped we wouldn't have to disconnect but knew the site was 36 ft long pull through and it was a possibility. We were plesantly surprised that we fit BUT our hose couldn't reach the water so we had to disconnect anyhow.. oh well note to self get longer hose. This space is directly across from a lovely pool which we used and enjoyed very much in this heat/humidity. Row C is a little hill but the site seemed pretty level at least our front tires aren't off the ground when the auto levelers did their job. The sites are close together but nice w/ a little grass between and a brand new picnic table and fire ring. Lots of woods on the front and back roads between each road w/ the other campers so really you are near your direct neighbor not everyone. Since the woods seperates the rows of campers some sites don't have a lot of shade. It is 8am and this site is shaded at the moment, we are facing east and it is early. If you have more than one car or visitors parking maybe an issue but it is fathers day weekend which is making it busier. I did notice that the larger class A were parked a few rows away, we had a lot of TT's in our row. The wifi worked fine for us with our winegard extender no issues. Water pressure seemed a little low but we think it is our filter not the site but something to keep in mind. The price was good at $42ish (can't recall exact amount) for water/electric on short notice in summer. They have 2 dump stations at the entrance/exit that is free to guests making it easy on our departure today. The office staff lady was super friendly and answered all our questions. All in all I would come back if the need arose.

Toby Forrester: Nice little campground close to DC. We recently stayed at this campground while participating in a fishing tournament that launched from Leesylvania State Park which was only about a 15 min drive away. Unlimited number of restaurants within a short drive away. Located just a couple miles off I-95. Marjorie was the first person I talked to when making the reservation over the phone and she was very friendly and accommodating. The campground was clean, including the showers and restrooms. All of the camp sites appeared to be paved. I don’t think this park has cable tv. We did need blocks to level out the camper, but not a big deal. This park is scheduled to be closed at the end of 2022 thru June 2023 for renovation. This was our first visit and we look forward to returning next year after being fully renovated.

Victoria H: Great RV park. Wonderful staff working in the office. Internet is definitely not great here, but everything else is fabulous. Had a wonderful time here. Will stay here again when we come back to Virginia.

Arenyia GollyGeeBango: Very nice RV park with 100% pull through spots. Feels like your in the wild, but it's minutes from "town" amenities.

LJ Aranda: One of the nice place for camping. It would have been perfect if there's any bodies of water nearby.

D Deane: In terms of space, it was about average for a private campground, maybe slightly better. We had a full hookup site and the utilities seemed well-maintained. Actually, although the roads are getting old in spots, everything seemed well-maintained (though I didn't use the restrooms there). Others have mentioned how friendly the staff is and that was true for us, as well. The dog area was nice and our dog had fun there. I'd come again without hesitation, particularly if I needed a full hookup site.

Karolina Galvez: Nice small Campground, easy access a few min from I 95. Memorial Day Weekend 2021. Nice assistance for check in an parking our travel trailer. That's where it ends. Pool is green and closed. Men's and ladies Bathrooms are closed the entire week we are here and according to previous reviews must been closed for a while already. Sites do have camping table and fire ring with a grill. Good for a pass through stay to rest a night and move on. About 50 min to Washington DC museums and sightseeing area.

Ann Smith: The staff are truly the friendliest we’ve encountered. Note: If you’re assigned “F” row be advised that the sites are not level. We tried every which way (truck w/slide in camper) to no avail and ended up walking to office requesting another site with no problem. Although in the 20 minutes we were doing the switch someone decided they needed our folding chairs more than we did. Thankful we locked everything else up. Other than that the park is clean and quiet. Price was a little higher than we’re used to especially with the pool and men’s facilities ( under renovation) closed.

Bob Fagley: Great place! I have a 30ft Rv with a 12 ft trailer. They gave me a pull threw. Free Dump station for paid campers. At the dump station they even have air to pump your tires up. Friendly staff and campers. Note:Coming from the south make sure you turn into the 2nd drive, the first drive goes into the park and is impossible to turn around.

Courtyard by Marriott Washington, DC/Foggy Bottom: what do users think?

Pam Fitzpatrick: Great location but I am not pleased with the cleanliness of my room. See the photos of stain on the sofa. More disturbing were the fluid marks on the bathroom door frame and light switch. What you see here is after I wiped part of it off with my finger. Glad I had my own Purell wipes with me. Was offered free breakfast as a compensation for this but my preference, particularly as we continue to deal with the health crisis, would be a clean room. I should be staying here for monthly business visits but I will be looking for alternatives even if that means it further walk to the office.

Frank De Jesus: Great staff starting out with valet up to house keeping. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Bistro restaurant serves very good food. All our needs were taken care of...will stay here again 👍

T Smith: Great Foggy Bottom location with easy Metro access and close to George Washington University and GWU Medical Center. Nice hotel with polite staff and parking available by valet only, but parking available... If you have ever been to Foggy Bottom, you understand. Enjoy..!!

Allison Price (Allie): Short visit but perfect for our small family do three. Great location! Clean and welcoming accommodations. Bistro breakfast pricey but tasty! They had a pack n play ready in our room which was so great.

S.K. Tan: I thought that the value was v good for this place. We didn’t valet park (we chose to park a block away at a self park garage). The location was good (near the monuments and also the shops and restaurants towards DuPont Circle). The staff was very helpful during our 2 nights stay.

Lightning: The vicinity to major tourist attractions is amazing. Valet parking is the only option for parking. The service is excellent, cleanliness is maintained and rooms are spacious. Overall, consider this if you are visiting DC.

trisha b: Pros: Location to National Mall Close to restaurants Fridge in room We had a sofa in our room Clean room (I was worried about that after reading other reviews) Helpful staff Business center Pop, water and snacks for purchase Cons: The street is noisy all night making it hard to sleep The bed (King) is uncomfortable, my back hurt every morning The smoke detector has a bright light that flashes and you can see from your bed Homeless living near hotel and you can see from your room Pro tip if you need to hook up a device to the TV in your room, unplug the Ethernet cable, turn tv off and then back on. Now you can pick your input.

Ryan Easterday: There was food crumbs on the floor, beer bottle caps on the floor, and the mattress felt worn out. And DO NOT even attempt to use the pull out sofa (ugh). When the front desk was called, they apologized but nothing was offered to remedy the situation. Definitely wouldn't stay at this location again.

Holiday Inn Express Washington DC East-Andrews Afb, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Pearl White: The staff is one of the best. Everyone of them was fast and friendly. Lobby was beautiful. The rooms cozy. The beds perfect. The comforters so soft and thick. Breakfast had a good variety and delicious for hotel foods. But for Holiday Inn Express quality, the rooms were lacking, still great, but not the IHG standard.

Luis Callejas: I recommend not going to this place. We had a very bad experience .I was there yesterday and the neighbors were blasting music. We called front desk to report it and they took 1 hour to put the music down. We had to get out of there because of screaming. When we were going to check out they didn’t let us until the next day. In the morning when we were trying to contact the manager to explain what happened, he was very rude and didn’t care. I don’t recommend this place especially if you have kids. The rooms were damaged, missing carpet, and damaged furniture. I am not putting 0 stars because it won’t let me.The managers name is Afron

Ken Hasty: Great staff and a decent complimentary hot breakfast. The rooms are dated and could use some TLC.

Prince William Forest Park: what do users think?

Tom Fenton: Great hidden gem this park. I'll re-review in Summer if the crowds make it unbearable but I did some hikes in January and it was, COLD, but delightfully deserted. The trails are well worn so easy to follow and I merged a couple of loops to do about a dozen or so miles each visit. The paths were in need of some post- winter maintenance when I visited (see pics)

Clarence “C.R.” Smith: Really great trail for beginners, all the way up to the pros. Beautiful scenery, small to medium obstacles and great elevation. Many great spots to stop and take "look what I did today" selfies by the streams. 😂One of my favorite hikes!

Austin Graff: 40 minutes south of Washington, D.C. is a large national park with a conflicted history. When the national park was created in the 1930s, farmers and residents of Batestown, a small community first settled by those formerly enslaved, were resettled by the government. The park does acknowledge its dark history. Today, Prince William Forest Park is a massive national park that cost $20 per vehicle to visit. Start at the visitors center to get the history of the park and maps. (There's also a little store that sells snacks inside.) Then park in one of the many parking lots that take you to old ruins, a handful of trails and a scenic drive.

Hope Cico: Beautiful, well maintained hiking trails. The Laurel Loop was about 2 miles that ran along the water and ended at a playground. A nice kid friendly hike.

Kristy Murphy: I stopped in on my way through on a road trip as a place to camp for the night. Most parks have a pay station for after hours. The sign at the entrance says to book sites at the visitor center. I went to the visitor center just to be told that ALL reservations must be made online. Cell service was spotty for me but I was able to make the reservation. On the way into the campground security stopped me and warned me about a storm coming in soon. I really appreciated his concern and the heads up. The campground is very nice with level sites and room in between. The bathrooms we very clean and the water in the showers hot. I wish I had more time to explore the abundant trails but I only made it to the Pyrite mine which was very interesting and the right distance for a nice morning walk. I would return again if I am ever in the area again.

Jessica Long: Went to the park today and followed the Laurel trail Loop to the birch Bluff trail. It ended up being a 45 mins loop from the main parking area and back. It runs along the south fork quantico creek. It was a very nice quick loop.

Caleb Sanders: I come here ro run or hike each week. They have some pretty areas that the trails wind through especially along any of the creeks. There are also camping and picnicking areas that I'd like to try out.

Judy Sun: Lots of parking throughout the park. Trails are easy and well marked. Does gets muddy in the winter but overall a really nice park!

Natalie Warriner: We always have an amazing time here with fantastic walks for the dogs. The camp hosts and rangers are all very helpful and friendly. Look forward to a return visit!

A. Rose Heller: Very secluded peaceful camp grounds. Clean quiet and still hold cellphone reception. :). Great park rangers everything was wonderful

Moxy Washington, DC Downtown: what do users think?

Kyle: NOT your usual Marriott hotel. Very hipster/artsy feel. Rooms are very tight, with your room chair mostly in your way the entire time, and your table hanging off the wall. No closets or iron in each room, exposed concrete ceiling. However, the people that work there are really great, the beds are more comfy than I thought, and the rooms are very clean. Nice location. Probably not the hotel for most folks, but they cater very well to the minimalist vibe.
Response: Thank you so much for your honest Moxy review. Yes, rooms are tight but relatively efficient, and we encourage guests to hang out in the vast public areas set for gaming, relaxing, eating, drinking, or just vibing. We hope you will visit us again!

Jamin CSC: I seldom leave reviews, but felt it was warranted in this case. I visit the DMV area very regularly and I travel elsewhere pretty often as well. While I was staying in a different hotel this past weekend, it occurred to me that Moxy DC is the standard to which I compare other hotels. It’s quite simply my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Full disclosure- this is probably not a hotel for everyone…especially if you plan on doing a lot of work in your room- because there’s not a ton of space…there’s also not a ton of privacy inside the room, so if you’re sharing the room with a companion- you’ll need to be VERY comfortable with them. However, if I’m in DC just to have a good time- Moxy is the absolute coolest. The atmosphere is fun and modern, the rooms have a cool urban vibe, the bed is perfection, and I honestly have to force myself out of the shower. The hotel is incredibly well-kept and modern, but it’s also laid back…and I love that, it’s a unique vibe and, to me, it feels really welcoming. Also- paying a little more to get the city view, is SO worth it. I love this hotel (in case that wasn’t already apparent). I will absolutely stay at this hotel again, I regret not staying there this past weekend, and I always recommend Moxy anytime a friend mentions they’re traveling to the DC area.
Response: Just wow. We think you’re pretty special too. Here’s to your next visit!

Samantha Saykao: Stayed here for a conference. Service was lovely. Ken was able to accommodate all my needs and said hello every morning. They are so sweet! Rooms are v space efficient and the showers are spacious with rainfall shower heads! Very enjoyable stay. :)
Response: Hooray! Thanks so much for the great comments. Ken says Hi! Se you again soon!

K -: Definitely got a hipster vibe from this establishment. Great location and helpful staff. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired and the coffee in the grab-n-go area was often empty. Room felt cramped due to a useless clunky chair (replace with a folding chair if ownership feels a chair is necessary). Bathroom was clean and space-efficient. I enjoyed the art on display. It definitely gave the place a welcome character.
Response: Thanks so much for your constructive feedback! So happy you enjoyed the 'Gallery Stars' and the commissioned mural in the Livingroom lobby. Sorry about the coffee; agree bout the chair. Thanks for the ideas! We hope you will come back again!

Washington Fajardo: Terrific location. The room is small but well designed. The hotel experience would be extremely different if they had a good bar or restaurant in the lobby. I loved the atmosphere. The staff could smile to customers.
Response: Thanks for your feedback! Happy to know you enjoyed your stay. BarMoxy is designed to offer pub snacks and cocktails and the Grab & Go is available 24 hour a day for guest convenience. With so many excellent dining options around the hotel, we hoep you found what you were looking for. We are working on a restaurant concept that will be housed in the adjacent building so stay tuned!

Toloria Gray: The Moxy hotel is very nice. I suggest not to book if it’s more than 3 people because the rooms are super small. I also suggest not driving because parking is blocks away and $22 a night. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and the bar and staff is great. I also like the fact that it was pet friendly.
Response: Thank so much for your review! We are happy you enjoyed the vibe! For sure rooms are compact but efficient, and we hope that all of the cool public spaces are the respite guests can experience when away from their room. We hope to see you again!

Joyceruba Mercado: Moxy is a different experience and we really enjoy it. It is not our first time….however, this time we were disturbed 3 times for check out even after calling front desk to make sure they spoke with housekeeping. We also heard housekeeping cleaning the rooms next door very loudly and we could also hear everything outside from our room. Which did not occurred on our previous stays! Nonetheless it’s a great hotel… clean and nice staff
Response: Thank you so much for being a repeat guest! Music to our ears! But it sounds like you could have used some ear plugs. So sorry the housekeeping team disturbed you. We will share that feedback to be sure and will work harder to keep the noise down. Hope to see you again soon!

Beau Branton: I'm writing this review as I am sitting in the "Library" on the second floor, sipping on a complimentary margarita catching up on some emails. This hotel is one of, if not the most, unique hotel experiences I ever had. I booked this hotel blindly, having no idea what a Moxy hotel entailed -- I love this hotel. The vibe of this hotel modern, industrial, chic, and communal. I arrived to check in at a bar...not a check in desk. The staff was extremely friendly and welcomed me with the utmost hospitality. I arrived to my room (a standard queen room) to find it clean, inviting, and well adorned with the tasteful decor. The rooms are small, yes. If you are looking for a hotel with a lot of space, this isn't the hotel for you. The hotel makes up for smaller rooms with fantastic communal space, service, and more. Lastly, the fitness center for this hotel was great. It has everything you need to get a quick workout in on your trip. With Matrix machines that connect to my Apple Watch, clean towels, filtered water, and more, this is a great spot to start (or end) your day with a workout. Overall, I would highly rate this hotel for the solo or couple travelers headed to DC who need a convenient location in Downtown D.C. and want to stay in a hotel like you've never stayed in before.
Response: WOW Thanks, Beau! Please come back and see us again soon! Nice to know you are a fan; we are a fan of yours, too!

Mauricio Pretto: Stayed at Moxy for two nights, very good location for business and tourism. Few blocks from white house , good restaurants near by. The lobby has a nice vibe for working or just chilling . Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not get 5 stars because the nespresso machine had only decaf :(
Response: Thanks so much for the great review! Out of coffee? Lose a star. :-( We understand completely. Supply chain issue still rein. Your next cafe is on us. Come back soon!

Blvknative: This place was absolutely everything I pictured in a hotel. The service, the varies activities available, there was a bar and lounge area. A common room with games and such to interact with fellow peers that stayed. 10/10 great places to stay - sadly I didn’t get any photos during my stay just wanted to enjoy it and take it all in but next time for sure!
Response: Hooray! So glad you had a good time at Moxy! Come back soon!

La Petite Academy of Washington: what do users think?

Muhammad Bilal Bawany: This daycare is a god send. We just enrolled our 2.5 year old daughter and regret not sending her earlier. The school sends lots of updates throughout the day on potty training, food and activities as well as photos. La Petite also offers classroom cameras for your child’s room, which - for nervous parents like us - helped us feel at ease since we could check in and see that she was having fun and participating in learning activities through the day. The teachers are great, the school is organized, super easy system, and has huge playgrounds which is a rarity in DC. Fully recommend, it’s a great place to send your kid.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to write us and for sharing your amazing feedback Muhammad.

Wendy Wang Pisa: Watching some of the streaming video from daycare over the two days we sent our 2.5 yo daughter there, we were very concerned to see conduct that was inconsistent with both OSSE health and safety guidelines and the center’s own stated policies, including a lax approach to masking and mixing of classes (at one point we saw nearly twenty children in a small space with roughly half not wearing a mask). We were also disappointed with the teachers' level of engagement with the children. As a new child in the class, our daughter was frequently left alone, receiving very little adult supervision or facilitation of play/ engagement with other children. Major red flags: * No masking almost every time we looked at the video streaming * Mixing of classes, amounting to nearly 20 children in a small space with most children unmasked * Nap time not set up to be sleep inducing, lights are kept on while other kids are running around or watching iPad or playing * Lack of teacher engagement and social facilitation * All free play time in the afternoon with no guided developmental activities * Kids watching iPad in a group, quite frankly we could do this at home * Management not responsive to our concerns in a prompt manner, showed no empathy
Response: Thank you for your feedback Wendy. We expect our team to be attentive and caring at all times, and we’re sorry to hear this has not been your experience. Your feedback is important to us and we have shared this experience with our local management team.

Bethany Rosera: Love the infant teachers, they are great with my daughter! Lots of updates for parents and very clean, best place! Updating now that it’s been 2 years, we are still there and my daughter has been through almost every classroom they offer. Great with COVID protocols, always responsive. Recently got a new playground and renovations. The staff has ALWAYS been great with my very anxious daughter, challenging her and supporting her along the way. She’s now 3 and starting to sound out words! Like any school there’s sometimes issues that come up, but if you communicate with the school everyone is responsive.
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words Bethany. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to help your children learn, grow, and explore the world around them!

Enrique Escalante: This place is a mess - do not consider sending your child here. About 4 years ago my wife was expecting so we set up a tour here. When we got to the center for our previously designated time, the director (who was supposed to give us the tour) had already left for the day and nobody had any record of our scheduled tour. Needless to say - we left and did not return. Fast forward to now - and my wife is expecting again. I had heard from a colleague that the place was better than our first experience...so we figured we'd give it another shot. I signed up for a virtual tour (that's all they're offering) about an hour before the previously designated time, they just sent me a new calendar invite for a different date/time. Nobody contacted me to apologize for the last minute cancel and to offer an explanation - or even to find out if the newly proposed time worked. Nothing. Complete lack of professionalism - avoid at all costs! Edit: Please see the response from the owner below. This is pure theater. I tried calling the number below on the day my appointment got cancelled and nobody answered. If they truly wanted to discuss this and wanted to make amends, they could call me directly rather than posting a trite statement just to save face on a public forum.
Response: Thank you for bringing this to our attention Enrique. We understand the importance of first impressions, and we're disappointed to hear that we made a poor first impression on you. We expect our team to be warm, welcoming, and professional in all interactions with families at all times. We are sorry to hear that you did not see this exhibited in your interactions with us. Please feel free to give us a call at 800-527-3848.

Conor O'Brien: Great school/daycare. They participate in the Childcare Aware Program that subsidizes Active Duty military childcare if care is unavailable on base, which was a huge help given the cost of care in the area. Professional, loving teachers and a safe environment. We will likely send our next child here too.
Response: Thank you Conor! We are so glad to hear about your great experience!

Melissa Marks: My son attended La Petite from the time he was 3 months until he was 3.5 yrs old. We had a wonderful experience. Any concerns we had were addressed quickly and thoroughly. The teachers all knew him by name (even the teachers from other classes) and it felt like a family atmosphere. I cried on his last day!! When he started PK3 this year he was fully prepared and on track with the rest of the children in language, math and social skills. We will be sending our second child there in the fall.

J S (Anonymous): RUN!!!! Do not bring your children here, this place is very unprofessional down to the teachers. They are overpriced and you’re not seeing exactly what the money is being put into. they provide breakfast, lunch, and 1 pm snack and also diapers, wipes, and sippy cups. But that still doesn’t scream 500+/week. The teachers are always on they’re phones and not paying any attention to the students. The management team don’t care about anyone but themselves. You bring something to their attention and they just sweep it under the rug. The classrooms are always left out of ratio, when you see the teachers they’re always looking overwhelmed or stressed and most days it’s only 9am smh. Something has to give with this place. This has been going on since my daughter (who is now 3) has been attending. I tried with my other daughter but it wasn’t a great turnout. My daughter was in the toddler department. The teachers who she was with can barely speak English so myself, my daughter, and the teachers had a hard time understanding each other. I just really wish the best for this location!
Response: We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you have not been having a positive experience at your location. We are committed to providing a positive and safe environment. The concerns that you have mentioned involving staffing and ratios are ones that we take very seriously, and will be noted for further action.

Kassie Lord: We love La Petite. My daughter started when she was 4 months and is now 19 months. We’re moving out of the area unfortunately and will miss having her here. There have been many improvements over the last 2 years including a renovation and new playground. Staff are positive and responsive. Thank you!!
Response: Thank you for the great review Kassie! We’re so happy to hear you are loving your school!

Radha Rajkotia: We love La Petite. Our daughter has been there since she was eighteen months and has always loved it. The teachers are all so caring and committed to the children's emotional wellbeing, as well as development. The amenities are great and the easy access to lots of playgrounds and outdoor space is unusual for DC daycare facilities. It really is a great place. I highly recommend it.

E. G.: La Petite in DC is an excellent day care. Our son bonded with many of his teachers and was very well cared for. I always had great confidence that our son was in the best hands and was learning and growing a great deal while in La Petite's care. The Academy is very well run, pleasant and clean. The Director is a very caring and competent woman and we came to feel like La Petite was family. From experience, I can tell you that La Petite in DC is one of the very best. Very professional and personable place.

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart Supercenter offers a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and other optional food and items to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. This location offers a free underground parking garage.

Nsoseh Quistoran: I went there to pick some stuff for myself. Good prizing and amazing products. Recommended to go shopping 🛒🛒

Will Kidd: I'm from Michigan this is my first time being to a Walmart set up like this and it was great basement parking and the crazy thing the escalator for your shopping cart that's wow 😲

Brittany Jeffries: It's crowded, there are never enough lines, and the place is heavily disorganized. But when you need stuff late night, it's nice to have around. I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

K A: Easy, convenient and affordable shopping. I really enjoyed shopping at this particular Walmart location. It’s big, organized and well stocked. They have different sections such as the pharmacy, bike shop, auto care, money center, entertainment and household items section to mention a few. Express Self Checkout✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Entrance✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Parking 🅿️ Adequate Parking Space ✅ Shopping Cart Conveyor ✅ 🚻Restroom ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Restroom

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? Please consider getting some kind employees for self checkout. 04/25/22 6:00 pm

Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. Downtown: what do users think?

Diarelys Camilo: This place was great for myself and my children. The rooms are a lot smaller than I expected but comfortable. The girls in the front desk were very helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was that my digital key did not work during my stay and after I paid for valet parking they told me they did not have a parking space available for me. However, they accomodated me as best as they could which I appreciated. The hotel is close to all attractions but use your car or your feet will hurt! Great place to stay. :)

Susan Cassidy: The staff of this hotel are kind and welcoming. They really keep an eye on things, which I appreciate. We felt like we were safe and in good hands during our stay. We found the location really terrific, the lobby and room very comfortable. I was with two other family members, and we got connecting rooms, which made the stay quite enjoyable. Love having the equipped kitchen -- many thanks for including the corkscrew!!

Jim Smith: The hotel fit our need for an overnight family trip with the bedroom, living room and kitchen. Hilton is my first choice when traveling and have stayed at many locations and the people working are very friendly and helpful. This one was in decent condition but the staff seemed possibly overwhelmed. The room could have been cleaner, especially the couch that was very worn and dirty. Understanding that services are limited these days, the breakfast wasn't having much of a selection and ran out quickly. I do commend the manager on duty who was trying to keep everything together
Response: Hi Jim Smith - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As the cleanliness of our hotel is a key priority, we are very sorry your room fell short of our high standards. Please rest assured that your comments have been shared to foster improvements. For this reason, we hope to have the opportunity to deliver a more pleasant experience on a return visit.

donna minchew: The staff is excellent. I had a difficult time finding the hotel and kept going around the circle and missing the street. They tried their best to help but I found a police officer that gave me directions and I made it. I came primarily to see the Panda Cub and my niece! The staff called the cab for me to take to the zoo and dinner with my niece. They always had smiles on their faces. I would stay again if I cannot find a hotel closer to the zoo.

Rachel Barker: Very nice suite style hotel. Has a business center, laundry room, shop, gym. Free breakfast is really good. All the employees are amazing! Close to metro and downtown DC! Would recommend

Kelvin Yong: Bad staff attitude. Particularly, Danielle Edwards is the worst front desk person I have ever met. Tried to check in @3:30 and was told to wait till 4pm. Then, Danielle told me to check back in 45 min with no explanation. Luckily, I did not sit around at the lobby. My room was not ready until 645pm!! Then the same bad attitude from Danielle when I get the luggage from the storage. Other staffs were professional, but my experience was ruined by one unprofessional front desk staff.
Response: Hello Kelvin Yong - We apologize for the poor service you received and for the long wait during the check-in process. This is unacceptable! We will share this feedback with our Front Desk team members and use it as a training opportunity to prevent issues like this in the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and leaving us invaluable feedback.

Amberly Nunn: I am on my first night of my first Spring Break since Covid trying to enjoy time with my family. Instead, I am spending the night talking to workers in a nightmare situation. I booked a Homewood Suites, there are two right down the road from each other. I must have booked the wrong one (the one without a pool) and my kids were devastated upon arrival. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and she said she would work with me to get it switched. I called the other Homewood and they were full, so they put me in Embassy instead, still Hilton owned. Now Homewood is not wanting to work with me and is charging me one night stay, saying I left voluntarily. While true, I thought it was with the understand that the woman at the desk would waive the night, especially since I am a VERY dedicated Honors member. I am disappointed and at a loss for words. I will now be paying an extra $450 for a hotel I will not be staying in. We had to save up quite a bit to stay at this brand in the first place; I expected a little compassion.
Response: Thank you for the review, Amberly Nunn. We would like the opportunity to investigate this further. Could you please contact us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport or call our team at (202) 265-8000?

benjamin albano: Room was clean and roomy for 5 ppl. Had issue with lock to room and it was resolved with no inconvenience. Tub in bathroom was small and tub isn't level so water stays in tub(be careful) and water does not drain fast enough so you are standing in ankle deep water.

Kristin Foy: Edit...I would like to add that the $300 was taken off and a night was comped. Also, the front desk staff was so nice and professional, but it felt like they didn't have the follow through from housekeeping. Terrible Service... I'm not one to complain, but from the moment we checked in, we struggled to get anything we needed. Parking was full, we were given the wrong type of room, we were arbitrarily charged an extra $300 that even the hotel staff didn't understand (still waiting on a resolution), our room was never cleaned despite numerous requests over 6 days, basic requests for at least towels, a pillow, or empty trash went unanswered. Avoid!
Response: Hello Kristin Foy - We are so sorry to hear about these issues you had to deal with while staying with us. We are looking into this internally. Please reach out to us at https://help.hilton.com/s/contactsupport so that we can collect some more information about your room. This would be a tremendous help to us in resolving these issues.

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Henok Garedew (Henny breezy): There is always problems in this specific Walmart all the timeI don’t recommend it

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

JW Marriott Washington, DC: what do users think?

C R**d: Great stay! Very relaxing and comfortable environment with very friendly staff. It didn't matter if I was having breakfast, enjoying a drink at the bar, or walking out... Everybody was super friendly and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation. I had the added bonus of being able to see both the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial from my room. Even saw the President's motorcade leaving for him to address the Senate. Awesome!

Casey Garber: Stayed for 5 nights 5/23/2022-5/28/2022 and it was excellent. We had a standard double room. Beds comfortable, plenty of outlets, large TV, very quiet. Room was spotless. We even had a nice view of the Washington Monument! The staff we encountered were all wonderful. We ordered room service one night and the food was very good and packaged well. The location cannot be beat! It's walking distance to just about everything depending on your stamina. By the end of the trip we were pretty tired. Metro station is only about 2 blocks away. Smart elevators were nice! Highly recommend staying here. My family of 3 had a great time.

John Tucker: Great location. Very nice staff. I had a base room with two full-sized beds. Only concern was that my top sheet was not long enough to tuck in...literally got in bed, pulled the covers up to my chest and felt a rush of air come from the bottom of the bed. Why housekeeping made the bed that was is beyond me... and when I tried to tuck it in, it was too short at the top to even come within 2 or 3 feet of the top of the headboard. Nice room otherwise.

Abigail Campos: Stayed for four days at this property. Centrally located to DC and is near several metro stations. Beautiful property and prices are reasonable. As a Titanium Elite, perks were limited. Lounge was closed but they offered 750 bonus points per day or a $60 breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. Interaction with staff was minimal but they do recognize your status and are reachable via the Marriott Bonvoy app. We did attempt to get upgraded but we're not successful. The room itself was a standard King and was beautifully designed.

Annette Tatum: Beautiful hotel, walking distance to all the monuments and the White House. Do not waste your money on a rental car because its easier to walk and not have to worry about parking. Excellent location and staff, will recommend giving this place a try when in Washington, DC.

Hampus Engstroem: Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. Stayed for 5 nights 5/23/2022-5/28/2022 and it was excellent. We had a standard double room. Beds comfortable, plenty of outlets, large TV, very quiet. Room was spotless. Brenna Belletti: Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated and clean. We had a lovely view from our room as well. Convenient Starbucks coffee located in the shop in the lobby. I would stay here again!

Nick Principe: Solid choice for near the White House. Close enough to metro, food, and bars. Valet was organized and competent, which is very appreciated. Staff were good... it was nice to get daily housekeeping again. The elevators are great - sounds stupid, but once you get it, you'll agree...

Asma Alavi: The hotel is neat, clean. And the staff is friendly. The room was spacious. There is a corner bakery right outside the hotel. The location is amazing. Just 5-10 mins walk to all the attractions. We loved our stay there

Nathan Viehland: For the price of the rooms the beds should actually be big enough for 2 people. I don't know why they put 2 double beds instead of queens in the room. Second off they are as hard a rock. I have been to less nicer hotels and they would have sleep numbers in every room. This hotel is a joke and don't recommend for vacation.

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

VIRGINIA Parker: Very well stocked and clean associate ready to help you. Only one problem not enough cash register open to get the people out. But that's the problem in every store.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

Terrencia Lester: I found everything I was looking for and a few extra items too. The staff was very friendly and helpful because I am in a wheelchair they offered to help me with items I couldn't reach. They had a variety of all kinds of foods and beverages. This will be my Walmart supercenter that I will be attending from now on keep up the great work and I will continue to be a valued customer.

Sarah West: A large mixed selection of items you can get any 3 for TEN DOLLARS. Selected high end new items are priced accordingly. Kids, mens, and womans apparel and shoes. If you have the knack for treasure hunting in thrift stores.....THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. thrifty and unique pieces all year round

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

carolyn jackson: I love this store. My favorite associates work here. This store always have a lot of cashier's on duty. The store is as least fully stock.

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.
