Kelly Cunningham: The reviews do don’t do this place justice. It was great for the price! The room was extremely clean, beds were very comfortable, and it had everything we needed for our stay. Yes, it was a little outdated, but you’re not paying $500 a night to stay here. Also, parking is only $25 a night On Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday-Thursday have free parking. There is no full continental breakfast, but there is coffee and muffins.. BUT, you’re in DC go enjoy breakfast at a good diner!
Lauren Klos: Although the hotel didn’t seem like much from the outside, the lobby is very nice and well-kept and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I liked being able to walk to restaurants nearby and being in the city itself (instead of having to stay in North Bethesda for a similar rate). The one downfall was the nightly $25 rate for self-parking in their open garage.
Phil Miller: It’s a Days Inn. Can’t expect a lot. It was inexpensive and room 410 was clean. It is within the DC square. That is a lot. People at the desk were great. No breakfast, no microwave and no refrigerator. The only breakfast restaurant close is a Burger King. Old building so bring your own wall plugs etc. We will make it work because of the location and cleanliness.
A. Rosenquist: My son and his friend were supposed to have a refrigerator but they said they didn’t have any due to Covid (?) but then they magically found one when I called and pointed out that we had a guest with a medical need for it. Be aware that they don’t charge the card you reserved with online unless you, the cardholder, are physically standing there holding it— not at all clear in the reservation process and very inconvenient in a city full of college students whose parents might want to pay from another place. It’s near the metro but other than that it’s not a particularly easy or pleasant place to stay.
Hannah Mench: If you’re looking for an easy, no frills, clean, quiet, peaceful, safe place, on a main road, look no further. I stayed for one night just traveling through town and it was simple, tidy and perfect. Disclaimer: the bed was not the comfiest mattress in the world but it was fine, and hey, the lady at the front desk was nice so it balances out.
Folu A: Hotel was like a place that had its great days but now old and falling apart. Four stars for the location and its access to other things. There was a nice bookstore about 10minutes walk and the best coffee shop was just 1minute walk. The hotel itself is 2 stars. You can find cleaner places to sleep for same price or thereabouts. I was to spend 2nights there and even for such short stay, I couldn’t stay the second night. Staff was ok.

Brittany Watkins: The reviews on here are a bit extra I think... This is a decent hotel! I stayed this past weekend for the 1st time visiting DC and it was clean and they were very helpful. You have to get your own extra towels and they dnt clean your room until u checkout but it was not a bad stay at all. I will stay again. They have a laundry room and vending machines and ATM in the lobby.
Michelle Casares: I rent rooms for our construction crews several times throughout the year. Working with this motel has been THE WORST experience I have had by far. I should have known that a chain that would not allow us to "direct bill" was not trustworthy. They gave us a monthly rate since our crew was scheduled to be in the area for 6 weeks. The project was postponed so our crew only needed to stay there for a few weeks. I asked the motel to charge us the regular rate and credit our corporate card for the remainder. Of course I got the runaround and they are wanting to charge us for time that our crew will not be there. There was no where in any documentation that said we would have to pay for time that we did not use the room. DO NOT do business with this motel. Fair warning.
Scarlett Fascetti: The place is really dirty, their were cockroaches in the lobby area. We had no choice but to stay there for one night since we could not get our money back or find anything better in the area. This is not a place that I would ever stay at. I don’t do fancy but I do clean. The bathroom in the lobby was so gross and smelled like throw up that my mother eyes teared and almost threw up herself. I felt bad for my guest and I apologized tremendously. The pool as you can probably guess, close with a cover on it on a 85 degree day at the end of June. There’s nothing I can say that’s positive except the bed was clean, the bathroom in the room were old and gross. We got up at crack of dawn to leave. Pay a little more do research about the area before you go there. Cause the area where it was was just as bad.
Charlie Decker: Made reservations on line using hotels.com, it set the wrong date. I made another for the right date and had the original reservation cancelled using hotels, com with a 100% insurance. It was cancelled 15 days prior to check in and they or Days in will not refund the money and hotels.com says they can do anything. On to the staff at front desk , the 2 people I felt to checking in and checking out were great. Very helpful and informative. The rooms are good , the screwed down tv was funny. But after watching the drug deals go down in the room beside my I understand. I would have given a 4 ⭐ but the refund policy is a joke.

Josh Murphy: Assuming one has their tetanus shot, this place is a viable option. For those who are curious , please note this hotel does not offer cleaning and only provides 2 towels for a 4 night stay (requesting extra towels was an hour long process). The room I was assigned did not have AC. Additionally, the hotel breakfast was rather sparse and rather empty despite arriving roughly 15 minutes after it had opened. The lobby staff were great; however, everyone else really did not seem to care.
Romona Outlaw: DO NOT STAY in this dump. I had to spend 2 night here & it was awful. The place is nothing like advertised. The lobby area smells horrible and the rooms smell no better. It is very rundown. Plaster coming off walls, mold & mildew in the shower. The water runs so slow that when you later up it’ll take forever to rinse off. For 2 days we couldn’t even get an extra wash cloth, had to buy our own. Anytime you ask front desk for help they knew nothing. We traveled 4 hours here for my husbands military reunion, so at least we got to enjoy our time away from this place. I’ve stayed in different Days Inn before but this is by far the worst one ever. I’ll be skipping all Days Inn from this point on. The one star was for the comfort of the bed.
Bhrenda Miranda: It’s very very old, smell bad, carpet has a lot of stains. Not all room has microwave and refrigerator. Staff are rude, they will hang up the phone when you express what you need. We asked for towels they said no more towels and hang up. Water heater takes time to warm. Toilets are not reliable. There’s bugs everywhere. Molds in the wall. Cleaner doesn’t know how to clean well. Electric suckets are corroding. Etc etc.
Sue MacLane: Staff was nice but room was old- internet was spotty. Room temperature was cold and could never get it warm enough to make it comfortable. It had snowed and lot was not plowed. Headboard fell off wall and could have really hurt someone if they were sleeping in that bed. Price offered on internet was significantly lower than price given at front desk. We left early when we got the power back in our house, so did not stay the night.- If you need a roof over your head and want a room that is relatively inexpensive this would work, but not really a comfortable motel. Looks much nicer in the front.
pdnapora: I asked to switch from a room that hadn’t been cleaned, and I got in quite late. The next room had crayon marks on the walls and green kid’s slime on the bathroom door. No cable tv, and zero channels. Fridge froze all that I put in it. Microwaveless too. The first room had a microwave, because it still had someone’s leftovers in it. It has the feel of a motel that people live in, long-term. Pool was a pond. Front desk was very nice, though. Bus 45 & A5 close by.

Gang Cheng: This is a two star motel. The location is very good to visit DC downtown area. The hotel hardware is not in good condition, however, it’s value matches with the price. Several nice restaurants are close by downstairs, which is very convenient. The front desk is helpful.
autographnut 85: I have stayed at this place many times in the past. I would have consistently rated this a 3 star in the past. Nothing fancy but easy to get where I was going via the bus & train. This stay was awful! Walked in and the floor had not been swept. Then went to the bathroom to find droppings on the floor. Then we left for dinner and came back to droppings on the bed. Told the front desk they seemed to not care. So left the next morning for a different place.
Heather Burtch: Common spaces were shabby and dirty. Outside areas were also looking worn and in need of help. The room seemed clean, shower was good, but the bed was soft and creaky and uncomfortable, lighting in bathroom was dim, only one nightstand by the queen bed, and furniture was worn. No accessible charging places by the bed except for the outlet. Wi-Fi was good.
Fredrick Royster: Clean rooms but very outdated. Elevator seems semi functional. But it if you just need a place to sleep, shower and shave with no frills that’s close to the great Metro public transportation and 2 miles from Pentagon City is great The most amazing part is the incredible mom and pop Thai Restaurant and bar that’s attached that’s been going strong for 35+ years. Great food and drinks and super friendly staff

Aphasanx: It wasn’t bad for last minute checkin/room was nice and so was the front desk however, - There was a heavily** pungent smell of urine on one half of the room (carpet/pillows?). - AC didn’t work at all. -The bathtub didn’t drain for a while. - Walls were also a bit thin. - No pet policy, but you are allowed support animals as long as you have paperwork.
Lovella Lucero: The place was clean but put dated. Not very welcoming atmosphere. You had to pay extra for late checkout. As a travel nurse that would frequently stay and give them businesses i feel this should be complimentary.

Maria: Would not recommend. Air quality was TERRIBLE. Claims all rooms are smoking. DO NOT STAY IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA. I don’t even have asthma but I woke up feeling like a chain smoker. Not sure what I was breathing in but two days later I am still having trouble breathing. My brother does have asthma and had a really hard time. Also super 8 and days inn is the same place so book with the cheaper one.
Jim Crawford: ZERO STARS! Worse Hotel We ever stayed at! 1 bar of soap, no towels or face cloths for 2 out of three days, air conditioner never shut off, elevator did not work correctly. The rooms had ancient lamps, people drinking and hanging around in parking lot - we felt unsafe. Forget about any kind of room service or response from staff. When we complained about towels, they told us no one has them! Booked for 3 days this past weekend - they said we could not cancel hotel because it was booked by 3rd party!
Chelsey: This is the type of place where you need to bring your own blankets so you don’t have to use their questionable ones. Cleanliness was horrible. Dirt in the shower, floor not even swept? Scared to even use the towels. Something messed up in AC because I cannot breathe correctly. Please address because this is a HEALTH ISSUE.
Yuliia Voinova: Was happy that this place is not too far from DC but the room wasn’t really clean. Stains on towels, blankets. The room needs more fresh air during cleaning.
Dan Fecht: Dirt on towels. Pubic hairs in bed. Toilet clogged. All rooms smell of cigarettes. Drug dealers roam the parking lot. They’re probably all high. This Days Inn should rename itself to “Daze Inn”.
