Mark Weinress: Really like this store, and all the Room & Board locations. Large and nicely laid out for easy shopping. Well priced, well made stylish furniture with a good, but not overwhelming selection. Very helpful staff. Lots of options on upholstery and other details. I've bought quite a number of pieces at the Room & Board in Chelsea, NYC.

Brandon Gaimari: Customer service is actually good but products are over priced junk. Bought a bedroom set and the design of the bed causes it to squeak every time you roll over. Customer service had Dr. Furniture come out twice - one time screws were missing in the bed, the next time installed slat pads (why were these not installed originally?). For the price you pay, the quality is not what it should be. Beware.

Anna Harrington: First, we had a guy helping us who like was non responsive at the Logan circle room and board. Then I ordered online for July 7 and the furniture store confirmed via email and when I called they told me July 7 was unavailable. Not good service for the price and wouldn’t buy here again.

Summer Logan: I was working with Lisa (who apparently is the store manager). Her behavior does not seem like she should be. My problem was passed off to Peter and I felt underappreciated as a client. Would not recommended the people that work here. Service is below expectations for the money you spend and management should do a better job. Seems like they do not care or engage with clients. Highly disappointed and unsatisfied.

Kathryn Adamcik: I ordered a couch from here in August and it was to be delivered at the start of December. It was delayed until the end of December and I waited for it to arrive. 1 day before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse I got an email saying it would be delayed for 2 more months. I waited for 2 months and days before it was supposed to arrive in the warehouse after the 2 month delay I got an email saying it was delayed again. I have called customer service and they have been of no help. They have no idea when the couch will arrive or what the progress is on it. They will not give a discount for this long delay. I am stuck in a pattern where I expect the couch to arrive any day, and then it gets pushed back. This is not okay. I paid over 3k for my couch and am just getting brushed off by customer service, the managers that I have spoken with, and the associates who we spoke to in the store we shopped at. I was planning on purchasing a side table, coffee table, and lamp after the couch arrived, but I will no longer be using room and board in the future. I ask you all to be wary of purchasing from here. I paid for the couch in full and now it looks as if it will never arrive. I expect more from this company, and am highly dissapointed.

Catie Kemp: Love love love. They were a bit too pricey for me to consider when I was living in my apartment, but since buying my place last November I have become a very loyal customer. I started working with Daren to get an idea of what I wanted in my living room- just having the sounding board was so helpful. I have since outfitted my entire living room with them- probably went to the store at least ten times before making my order and never felt harassed or pushed into buying immediately. My mom bought her first house in over a decade this summer and I’ve encouraged her to buy with them too (which she has and has had an equally good experience). The biggest thing for me when I’m spending money on furniture is knowing that a) it will last and b) having confidence in my purchase. I most recently ordered a set of four dining chairs which arrived on Friday and the color just isn’t quite right in my space. I went into the store yesterday and discussed the issue with an associate (didn’t catch her name)- they are very up front about wanting to make things right if you’re not happy. She gave me a sample swatch to take home and test in my space and this morning I called customer care who was happy to facilitate an exchange for me. They are back ordered until February so they even offered me the option of keeping the current chairs (so long, of course, as they are kept in excellent condition). Even speaking to their central customer service center is a personalized experience- I don’t have the same concern with other businesses that my order or request is going to get lost in the shuffle. You can get just about anything in any color/fabric/wood stain/finish that they have and the quality is outstanding- I really wish they were in the kitchen cabinet business because their wood quality, in my opinion, is unmatched by any other business I’ve explored at their scale. Everything is made in the US (Minnesota I believe). Of course with the pandemic things (especially custom items) can take a couple or a few months to come in, but this is far from specific to R&B and well worth the wait. I’ve had three or four delivery experiences with them and each time the employees were punctual, communicative, and, most importantly, careful with my home and furniture! In summary I can’t recommend them enough. They have found a customer for life in me and I am happy to scream my unsolicited appreciation from the rooftops any time! Edited to add- forgot to mention they are dog friendly (with treats!). If this isn’t the sign of a good business I don’t know what is.

Renee Davis: Don’t get me wrong, I love this furniture store. The customer service is great. Delivery service (workers) is great. It’s the actual product, the furniture quality that deserves 1 star (none if I could) our last purchase was the Reese sectional sofa. The buttons pick you when you sit on it and the cushions are cheap. No Cush whatsoever! It’s like sitting on the floor. The entertainment center has no wire outlets in the back for cord management and it scratches easily. And even though the only rerun policy listed is for mattresses I was told (Ginny) that if it was a couple weeks past they would be able to take it back? Do not be fooled by the pretty picture. It’s not worth the price!

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.

Ms.: I love the items in the store. Very stylish and very unique. 2 full floors of sofas, pillows, dishes, pot holders, baskets, wall decor and more. Easy to stay in store and "look"..sure to find an item for your home or gift for another. Can't really talk about customer service except to say no one acknowledged or ask me did I need help to find an item. I was on my own..succeed

Eric Overton: Staff at this store were basically useless and didn’t seem to know much about the products for sale. Fortunately, I was only there to test a floor model before buying online. Shipping was fast with only two weeks between purchase and delivery. Delivery dudes were both prompt and chill.

Geneva: I was wary of buying from this store based on some of the reviews here; however, after a year of searching for the right sectional, I found the perfect one for me at West Elm. I received good service from the store. The sales person was very clear that my sectional - which I bought in November for a nice discount - would not arrive until early January. As promised, I got calls and emails from the delivery department the second week of January and was able to schedule a date that worked for me. The two delivery guys were amazing - they had to maneuver their big truck down a narrow alley to get to the loading dock. They were professional and efficient and out of my apartment in less than 15 minutes. The sectional is exactly what I wanted and so comfortable.

MIchael Wright: Prices are unnecessarily high, since the doors are left open during warm weather, thus requiring more energy for A/C,, which also incrementally contributes to climate-changing emissions. So, not the shop for customers who either don't like higher prices or want to help the environment.

Angela Garcia: STAY AWAY FROM WEST ELM. It's customer service is the worst, they won't ever deliver your items on time, they won't care and won't do anything about their mistakes with your order....it is just not worth it. I have received the wrong item TWICE (which honestly I don't understand how they can mess up the size of a piece which is clearly stated in their website other than it should have never been offered there in the first place because it doesn't exist). Now I'm stuck with an item which is not the one I ordered, and west elm won't care to pick it up and complete the return. THIS BRAND IS A JOKE.

The store associate we worked with was knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and really helped us choose the best option for our apartment. Our furniture won't arrive for a while, but we'll eagerly await it! The store itself was clean and well-organized.

Jonathan Mullen: Some nice stuff. Seems overpriced for what it is. Similar to Crate and Barrel.Joybird is just down the street and offers higher quality furniture at a better price.

Annapurna Mitra: The worst delivery experience I have encountered. I ordered a dining table and four chairs, with in-home delivery. The chairs were sent via UPS, not assembled, and with no explanation despite paying $250 for in-home delivery. I live alone, and there are 7 pages of assembly instructions requiring two people. I have no way of doing this, and am left with a living room like a furniture warehouse. On the other hand, the dining table, which was ready 10 days ago, and I had asked the customer service to wait and schedule an appointment for all items together is yet to arrive. I cannot find a way to schedule anything on the website, and on the phone I can not find a way to talk to a human being. I have received no response to my email. If I could give zero stars I would.

Sarah Gunel: Customer service was super here! All of the sales associates were helpful, but not pushy. They were also pleasant (happy). After we returned home from our shopping, I realize that I left my daughter's hat there. I called and the woman who answered the phone said she would mail it to me. I was incredibly impressed with their customer service. I would definitely return to this store!

preservefootprints: The right place for everything , is a one stop service from furniture checkout, ideas for designing your future whatever rooms, and to Swedish food! This is our fave’s, the IKEA food court! The warehouse was huge, you can also come to practice walking or exercise during extreme weather. They have variety of food selection, all come with healthy calories calculation. Our favorites always Swedish meatballs, fried chicken and the desserts. Have you tried their veggies balls? It’s taste almost the same as the meatballs, but more delicious! Don’t miss out on the side dish, it’s a perfect combination with veggies balls and the sauce. We’re all facing the same issues here at this moment, some if not all items are out of stock! You have to be prepared if you’re running a project, either come as grab as the stocks are ready or visit the store multiple times.

Samone Jones: Old faithful IKEA. Great new furniture. I came to look at the faucets and grab a quick lunch. As always you can get some great design ideas and gadgets for the home. My favorite are the duvets - they can always give a fresh look to a room. The food is pleasant. I got the Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes, and fries.

Giovani Guarnieri: Furniture and all you may need for your house and office you can find here. Prices are good. But you have to carry out by yourself and put it together in your house to... I like to do like that but if you don't like it will be a problem. Will be back soon

Mahjabeen Mitu: In general Ikea products are always price worthy and presentable, so you won’t struggle much to fit with your budget and planning. They have huge collection but their catalogue based marketplace will help you to get your desired one quickly. I’ve been using their products since 2013 and it never makes me disappointed. If you love to decorate your home and garden, really a great place to get a complete package of ideas! On a separate note, they have a Swedish food market of vivid collections, so you can enjoy chocolates, cookies, coffee and etc. of swedish flavor right there. Also, I would highly recommend to visit their food courts, foods are awesome! If you have an Ikea family membership, you will get discounts on foods and all kinds of beverages are free for you ☕️🍹🍸. Interestingly, they do birthday wishes to the members each year offering worth of $10 coupon and a frozen yogurt of any flavor🍦 🍦

Candie W: If you want to build it....IKEA and a little patience is all you need. I have a bit of both ;--) I frequent this Ikea because I want to achieve my own personal "carrie bradshaw" type of closet (the ladies will understand).....I also want a PAX spa cabinet. So, although I could give them 3 stars - I know they are 4 star worthy.... Here lately though, I am becoming very frustrated. Lots of things are temporarily unavailable or discontinued without notice. Makes it extremely hard when you have a large project to achieve. ALSO! This weekend they advertised their annual Julboard and I was exited for the festivities....BUT, as with everything else - IKEA missed their usual mark. I believe it is due to the pandemic but I am disappointed. I don't want IKEA to be in comparison to Walmart, Costco, or Sam's...I hold them in a higher regard....but, empty shelves - displaying things on the showroom not available - Costco type sampling....this is not you IKEA!!!! I know because I am here all the time..... BRING IKEA back!!!!!!

Lately, I see a lot of improvements in the home appliance and kitchen section kudos. I am like a kid in a candy store coming here. Charley: Overall rating of 4.7, went shopping in search of a specific type of bed frame. Was disappointed when I was informed they did not have that model in stock and opted to instead settle for the "Malm" variant. Buying the bed was super easy, when I confronted an employee he told me exactly what I needed to purchase. The bed came in 4 different items and the overall assembly of it was not too bad. However, take this with a grain of salt because I am a master builder and the process was mildly engaging.

Stephanie Jackson: IKEA literally has everything. I needed a table to match another piece of furniture I purchased from IKEA to place my record player on. Of course they had the perfect piece. It took 5 minutes to put together. Super cute and super easy.

Abi Maghamfar: Ikea is a great place for do it yourselvers and those who don't mind assembling their own furniture. The prices are good and the return policy is generous at 365 days! However on a recent visit to the College Park, MD store it was obvious they are having a hard time keeping their shelves stocked. Almost 1/3 of shelves were bare or limited stock. We had to change plan for a bed because they did not have the mattress we wanted and the support slats for the bed. It would be helpful if they mark out of stock items in the showroom so you don't have to go to the warehouse to find out they're out and then you have to start all over! On a positive note, I commend Ikea for their commitment to environment by installing solar panels all over their parking lot.

Mary T.: Helpful customer service, and wonderful selection. A very enjoyable shopping experience. Would come back! Only negative was one employee, possibly a manager, Lisa. The associate checking us out asked her for help, she came over obviously annoyed with him then ignored us standing directly in front of her. This male associate was kind, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us. It bothered me that she would treat him this way, especially in front of customers. Maybe she was having a day or was exhausted but it was off putting.

Noah Merlin: Here is why you should never buy a piece of furniture that is "In Stock" at Crate & Barrel again: - My wife and I were looking for two swivel chairs in stock, so we could get them relatively soon and not wait the insane lead times that all new furniture has right now. - We went to Crate & Barrel on 12/24/21: Our sales rep at Crate & Barrel told us our two Drew Swivel chairs were both in stock (~$1,900 total for the two). - We decided to purchase the two chairs on the basis they were in stock. We were told they would be delivered in two weeks (two weeks from 12/24 is 1/7/22). - On 1/5 we received an email that they were being delayed and would be delivered in mid January. We called the store because we thought it was odd that items that are in stock in the warehouse could be delivered. When calling in, we were told that the items actually were not in stock. They offered us a $150 gift card once the item was delivered to make up for it. I did not accept, but they weren't willing to do anything else. - Every two weeks our item was delayed longer, and we were sent an email saying the items would be delivered two weeks later. - This morning, on 2/22/22, we received an email, stating the delivery would be in early March. It has been delayed for two months now, when we had a two-week lead time. So I sent an email to customer support, stating that I would like a 50% refund. Instead of reaching out to me, they emailed me to let me know my order has been cancelled and I have been provided a refund. I have now waited since 12/24/21 (two months) since the order. I have no swivel chairs. I have no order. I now need to begin the search for chairs all over again. I called support at the store, they said they couldn't do anything and I needed to contact corporate. I contacted corporate, and Elaine tried to explain to me that it was my fault for not reading the receipt and that it didn't matter what the sales rep said to deceive my wife and myself into buying these chairs which never came. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE. Crate & Barrel has now admitted to me several times that they have an inventory system bug that makes it so they do not know when an item is in stock or not. This could be true, or they might use it as an excuse for predatory business practices, intentionally misleading consumers into making purchases they may not otherwise. If it is true, they do not account for their errors and expect the consumer to pay for it instead. Goodbye Crate & Barrel forever.

Nikolas G: This is a great location with incredibly friendly staff. The design team is always happy to help and the sales team are helpful and available without being pushy or too present. Good selection, very well organized, beautiful layout.

Leo Sheridan: Liz D. came to my rescue when a 3rd party courier service lost a Christmas present! I can't say enough about how professional she was throughout the entire dramatic ordeal. Liz honestly saved Christmas. I've been a customer of Crate for quite some time. I even worked for the company many moons ago. I was astounded by how swiftly Liz handled everything, and she did it during THE MOST busiest time of year!

Jennifer Lee: Very nice community type center for shopping Crate and Barrel is great some nice restaurants and parking if you want to pay for it. It is near American University so you see lots of students around and lots of pedestrians. It's right off Massachusetts avenue so it is bus accessible only as far as public transportation.

Vishal Sinha: This is another good location for Crate and Barrel. The only negative shopping here is the scant parking options. Once you are in the store, the experience is worth the parking issue. The store is laid out well making shopping a good experience. It's hard not to buy more than what we had in mind! The staff is friendly and always ready to help answer any questions. The selection at that store is quite good and we like the products sold here. Or kitchen is stocked with many of the essentials from Crate and Barrel!

Mohammed Audi: Great quality, just downright horrendous service. We bought all of our furniture across 6 months and it's all really sturdy, high end and elegant. They've done a great job in modern design. If follow-up services mean anything to you, such as eventually replacing sofa cushions, you need to find another place. Any form of follow up requires months of chasing down, pleading and disappointment.

Ardavan Tookaloo: Very modern and beautiful. I like this place a lot. You will never walk out empty handed.

A Layne: BUYER BEWARE!! Very disappointed. Only reason they get 1 star is to rate WITH a comment. This is not Ashley but a franchise that bought the Ashley name and is delivering Regency furniture. I bought a $ 1689 firm mattress in June 2020, by December the mattress had 2 soft spots when weight is applied with a very firm center. After trying to get the mattress replaced a so called tech came out to assess the mattress. They did not do anything. My wife and I even turned over the mattress and slept on the bottom of the mattress. That gave us relief for 2 months. The mattress is garbage. We even contacted investigative reporter Susan Hogan at channel 4. They could not do anything because Ashley did not close our case. The pictures show two levels. The yellow level shows the mattress is level with no weight. The red level shows how the mattress sags with weight applied. You will see the bubble in the center of the level is not in the middle. Pictures show weight on the middle and each side. We called corporate for Ashley and were informed that the Ashley location was not a part of their corporation. All attempts at rectifying went through Regency Furniture in Waldorf. The mattress lasted 6 months. We got 😫 tired of the pains we are feeling because of the garbage mattress that we went out and purchased a good mattress from Havertys. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ASHLEY IT IS OWNED BY REGENCY FURNITURE. THEY ALSO OWN MARLO.

Just Erika: I was SO pleased when I walked out of Ashley furniture that leaving a review only made sense! I initially purchased my furniture in February and worked with Aziz. He was absolutely phenomenal. I told him what I was in search of and my budget and worked so diligently to make sure that I found what I needed. Well, there is no secret that ALL furniture stores are a bit behind on the delivery of out-of-stock products but after 11 weeks, I decided to call yesterday. I was greeted by a young lady named Jasmine on the phone. She was extremely professional as she shared my options with me. One of them being to come into the store to find an in-stock item and compete an exchange. Once I arrived to the store, Kiara was the sales rep that assisted me and OMG… I wanted to give her the biggest hug before leaving. She was patient, helpful and even gave some of her own personal input in helping me select my items. I felt like I was shopping with a friend and not being an annoying customer as I paced the floor for over an hour lol. It was time to check out and another young lady (who’s name I didn’t get but she had curly hair and sat up front) was so sweet and helpful as we wrapped my portraits (because yes, Kiara helped me pic a few wall pieces) and she assisted with carrying them to my car. I am very big on customer service! And it’s not often that you receive superior service from every singe team member and from beginning to end, but I did yesterday! Thank you to the Ashley Furniture team :)

Cassandra Wilson: I went to the Capitol Heights store during their Labor Day sale to buy a sofa. I was assisted by a salesman named Kevin Jacobs. He was very patient with me and did not do a "hard sale" on me. He answered all my questions (there were many) and took the time to make sure I was taken care of so I could make an informed decision. Because of Kevin's professionalism and patience, when I decided to buy my bedroom set it was a no brainer that I would once again go to the Capitol Heights store. Again, Kevin was very good and made my buying experience a pleasant one. I will definitely being returning this this location for all my future decorating needs. We were told that they are currently out of stock but they have some coming in two weeks or so; we would get a call to schedule delivery. Two weeks went by and no phone call from Ashley Furniture so I called to follow up. I was told “oh we’re expecting those mattresses to come in tomorrow, let’s schedule a delivery date and they will call you the night before to confirm the time they will make the delivery”. We scheduled delivery and no one called to confirm the delivery time so I called back. Needless to say I kept getting the run around. Fast forward TWO MONTHS LATER and still no mattress. During which time I encountered VERY rude managers and employees it’s sickening. Three months later, we get our mattress and ITS THE WRONG MATTRESS!!!!! We called to inform them of their error only to encounter rude staff and management again! After many attempts to rectify the issue, we were stuck with this mattress that we can’t sleep on because it’s so uncomfortable. We have spread the word about the lack of customer service. Many of our friends/family have had similar issues and refuse to shop here. We should have listened. Again, this is only one of many issues we’ve had with Ashley and Regency Furniture. They seem to be the same company. The only customer service you will receive is when you are making a purchase. At the time of checkout, they ask for a five star review with the sales persons name listed in the review for incentive, then if you encounter an issue they couldn’t care less. Do not believe the five star ratings as they are based on false advertising and fake customer service up front. You should take your business to Haverty’s, at least they care and will provide TRUE customer service.

S. Haskins: I'm still waiting on my furniture. I ordered it in April and now I was told it will be delivered in July. Had I known it would take this long, I would have ordered from some place else. Also, I don't like their payment process. They debit your credit card to hold the payment week after week. They said they don't charge it until after it is delivered but it will ping your card and hold the funds then decline and then hold the funds again. VERY ANNOYING! I will update my review once I get my furniture. Let's see how the delivery and assembling goes. 😔

Mary Veach: I had read reviews for this location and saw all the nice stuff said about Wendy so I was so happy when we walked in and were greeted by Wendy!! She was the perfect balance of helpful while still giving us space to browse and discuss what we liked. Whenever we had a question she was easy to find and came right over and had answers to all the questions we asked. We ended up purchasing a couch and the whole process was really straightforward - none of that “add this protection and this feature and this extended warranty” etc etc that you have to muddle through with some sales people. We actually had time to just chit chat while we waited for my husband to tend to our child and Wendy is a genuinely nice person!! Highly recommend a visit to this location… you may even want to call ahead and ask when Wendy is working!!

Hassan M: Got the beat deal . Delivery guys are awesome. Delivery was on exact day and time . I guess 59$ for delivery just threshold (dropoff inside through first door ) with assembly (90$). I don’t need that it was just four legs for my sofa . Customer service is amazing. For delivery person they called 2 minutes before arrival and then dropped it inside my living room. Best thing they took off the shoe before stepping on my carpet and were wearing mask .

on studio: The WORST furniture store I have ever seen. Oh boy, where can I start? The first day I had ordered set bedroom furniture and sofa which is 1/26/22 they said I'm gonna get all the delivered by 3/23/22 I said, "OK" after a while they told me they don't know when my furniture available for delivery. (disappointment) but still, I have been waiting so patiently. March 13 they said all my orders gonna deliver on 4/2/22 I said "OK(i was happy) and I fix my work schedule to get the delivery but never lasted 😔. Jennifer Zydney: My best customer experiences come about when someone I do business with makes a problem go away. That was the case with Warehouse Showrooms. Knowing lead times are stretched, we ordered some outdoor furniture well ahead of when we’d need it. When we approached the date that we thought we’d take delivery, we learned there had been some miscommunication about how/when the delivery would occur. Warehouse Showrooms really bent over backwards to address the situation and make it work for us. Super helpful and responsive customer service. Furniture delivery guys were great too, very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to enjoy our Polywood rockers!

Sara Barth: Warehouse Showrooms is great! We purchased a bedroom set and couldn’t be happier. Excellent quality solid wood furniture at reasonable prices. The staff at Warehouse Showrooms are so easy to work with and gave us realistic expectations about delivery timelines. Barry Rosman: We bought 5 matching walnut chairs to go with our new Live Edge table. The chairs legs were too wide to fit 2 chairs side by side. After some discussion, the came up with an innovative solution to move the table legs at no charge. They saved the day and fixed it within 24 hours. That is service. They are very helpful, creative and very easy to do business with.

Alek Cannan: High quality, hand made, solid wood furniture at fair prices. This showroom is excellent and the staff are really knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We visited the showroom looking for a dining set and a sleeper sofa. We were really impressed with the range of options available and the high quality workmanship. And most items are very customizable to adjust sizes and wood types and finishes to match just what you are looking for. We are really impressed and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for long lasting furniture.

Paula Lewis: Great experience. We wanted to try out a particular brand of chair before ordering a set online. Warehouse Showrooms had great customer service and after we decided we did like the chairs, they were able to order them for us at a better price than we would have gotten buying directly from the manufacturer. Lani: This store had many nice furniture pieces on display. However there is currently a very long delay of anywhere from one to four months for furniture to be delivered. The sales rep who assisted me was helpful, but pushy and followed me around the store when I just wanted to scope out items. I literally had to ask him to just give me a minute and I will find him when I was ready to talk about the pieces I was looking for. The pushy reps made my experience poor. One thing I noticed is that many of the furniture items did not have a label or name on them. This means that for everything you were interested in, you would have to ask the rep for details on the pricing. It would save a lot of time if I was able to just literally look at the name And price of the item directly, especially since the store is so big. It seems like the associate did not want to tell me the names of items, which I found to be odd. If I am looking at multiple pieces of furniture and comparing prices, it is helpful as a shopper to know exactly what I’m looking at since there are so many items. There was also a huge push to buy items in store, although many were listed for much cheaper online. He also try to sell me a couch that had visible damage on it. I think this was just to make the sale

Zewdu: We have had a good year 2021 except this TRAUMA. We purchased a sectional sofa in Dec 2020 from Ashly Furniture Falls church, VA and we were told it would be delivered within 4-12 weeks. however, we did not receive it until may/June 2021. after we received the sofa, the quality was not good enough. So, We needed to return part of the sofa & paid additional $100 pick-up fee and then the store wanted to charge us 30% restocking fee. We spoke to customer service & due to their late delivery timeline & poor customer Service communication, they agreed to charge us 10% cancelation fee instead. After a few back and forth with them, we went to Ashly furniture falls church to get our refund. one of the customer manager we spoke to reiterate that we were to be charged 10% fee-not 30%. The store manager disagreed & insisted that he's going to charge us 30%. We repeated to him the conversations we've been having with them, but the store manager (he said his name is Ray) and he was not even wearing a name tag) escalated it...started shouting & yelling at us. This was unnecessary so we started recording our interaction."Ray" demanded that we stopped recording, or he'll call the police & said,"I PROMISE YOU, I WILL GET YOU ARRESTED" We told him that was his choice to do so. He called 911 & claimed that he was being "harassed" by a customer; we called 911 as well & told the police what was really happening.When the Police arrived, "Ray” asked the police to make us delete the recording & escort us out.The Police told him we had every right to record the conversation as the Police himself was recording this event as well.The Police told us to deal with the refund issue with the appropriate party & to keep paper trail. We submitted compliant to BBB and we received our refund a couple of weeks ago. This process has been physically, emotionally draining & it has been causing unnecessary distress to us. BBB to take the appropriate measure as there are multiple complaint online & this store manager/location to be held accountable for the emotional distress they have caused to customers. Amanda Murff: We purchased a couch at this location and had a good sales experience. The team members were knowledgeable and friendly and able to answer all of our questions. Our salesperson's name was Kanan and he was very friendly and responsive to our needs, plus he was not rigid in negotiations which I very much appreciated because we came in with a budget we wanted to respect and I communicated that to him. Connie handled all the paperwork during the actual purchase process and she was very friendly, professional, and transparent. We knowingly purchased a couch that was not in stock at the warehouse, so we haven't been through the delivery experience yet, but as far as the in-store experience, it was very positive.

Rebekah Mann: Highly recommend NOT buying in store here. It’s way better to try out the furniture and then buy online as online prices are significantly cheaper. We found a couch in store that was $300 cheaper online as well as an ottoman that was $150 cheaper online and ships sooner than what would ship from the store. Not to mention taxes and furniture protection plans are cheaper online. The sales associate that tried to sell to us said that you have to pay the delivery/assembly fee or else you can’t get the protection plan, which isn’t true. We were able to order online and do doorstep delivery for free with a furniture protection plan. Hoping you can con people into paying more in your store is not a very successful way to compete with other stores. Especially when people have the sense to take 20 seconds to use Google to confirm pricing and availability.

Kayla Regan: If I could give zero stars I would. BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a large sectional couch from this store not even two years ago. The floor model they had was damaged and you could not sit in the middle of the couch. The salesman had told us there was an issue but to test out the other section of the couch. Maybe we were naive in believing him that the couch was damaged from it being a store model - but alas here we are and our couch has the same exact problem. The black mesh material that the cushions sit on is ripped. We cannot sit in the middle of the couch. I had purchased the 5-year protection plan and specifically asked if this was covered and was told yes. Again, my fault for not reviewing all the terms and conditions before agreeing to purchase. I tried to file a claim and of course it's not protected. I called the store directly and was told I can get the money back for the protection plan $190 as a store credit to use on a future purchase. That's it. They won't even pay to have someone fix the issue with the couch when they very well KNEW this was an issue with this model. Honestly, the cushions are all balled up on the material and have lost their sturdiness - and for a couch not even two years old where I spent over $2,000 - that's insane to me as well. Overall I WOULD NOT buy a couch from Ashley Furniture. Ever. Anywhere - but especially would not shop here.

CJ Young: BEWARE!!! We bought a leather couch less than a year ago for $2000 from Ashley. There is already stitching coming undone on part of the couch. What makes it worse is that it's in the middle seat where we rarely sit (the middle part has a fold down arm rest that we use). I called the store and was told that the stitching is not covered under their 1 year warranty. Even though is specifically says on the website that seam slippage is covered!! We had a horrible experience with the delivery and now an even worse experience with the customer service. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

indiana abreu marmol: After buying my bedroom set on November 28, 2021, that is, dressed with a bed mirror and bedside tables and telling me 6 to 8 weeks, my bedroom set finally arrived on January 22, but there was a problem with my dresser according to the driver had a small scratch. Well, we went to see him before he was taken out of the truck, and guess what? the little scratch was a noticeable tear that was hard to miss. I told the driver that we wanted to return it and he told me that there is no problem but that he does not know when the new one will be delivered. and the best thing was that he said that the store went well but that they broke them when they checked it! shamelessly this driver told me this and still expected tip. Luckily I made him sign on his sheet that the chest of drawers was not left but was returned. That same day we called the store and they said that the report had not arrived. The next day, Monday, we called again and they told us that they had not received anything. On Friday we called again and the girl at the reception said that they had received the complete order delivered including the dresser, but that there is a note on the delivery sheet where there is a writing that says that the dresser was not delivered. We went to the store a week later, and talked to the saleswoman and the manager, where supposedly the manager was going to send an email because they didn't know why this was happening and that the manager would get a quicker response. . after another week they called us and said they had to order a new one and we would have to wait another 8 weeks. I can't believe this store works like this, unfortunately we paid for everything in full. My boyfriend and I moved in on the 1st of January, it's almost the end of February and we are still waiting and can't get our room ready due to worse than lousy customer service. no wonder they lose half their customers. is incredible. And the last straw is that in another place but from the same brand I bought my mattress, sofa and table. It doesn't sound fun, but I think I'll last a year without furniture. what disgusting service. If there were less than 0 of course I would give it

Samantha Sullivan: Ms Aicha greeted us at the door and asked what we were looking for. She led us to the recliners and was the perfect amount of attentive and aloof. Let us shop without being pushy but there to answer questions when we had them. The price was right for the furniture and she worked with her manager, Mr Tony to get us extra discounts on delivery and product protection. Very pleasant experience.

Ankur Rathi: Purchased a bedroom set - received 3.5 months after purchase. I was told initially I would receive it in 3 weeks. Then after multiple calls and several backtracks - received finally. However, both the sales person (Shandy) and the CSR (James) were very helpful and courteous. No issues with customer service, just they need to sort out their delivery estimates!

Emily Chauncey: In April 2021, I purchased a mattress and 2 accent chairs. I was told the mattress would arrive in 10 days, and the chairs would be 8-12 weeks. What they did not tell me was that they wouldn’t be delivering the mattress separately and I’d have to wait until the chairs were in for the delivery. (Which like, why even bother telling me the mattress would be in so fast if I couldn’t get it?) Thankfully, the actual delivery date was 8 weeks and that process was smooth. However, my customer service experience during that purchase was less than stellar. I felt like I was getting talked down to by the male sales rep and the male manager, and being discriminated against since I am a woman. If it hadn’t been for my father being there to talk, I wouldn’t have gotten the discounts I got. (I felt like the staff was ignoring me a bit in favor of my father.) Cut to this week, when I got a flyer in the mail advertising early Black Friday perks for VIP customers (whatever that means). I had been wanting a new couch, so I figured I’d take a look since the flyer said 60% off all furniture + free delivery (with a purchase minimum that wasn’t specified). I went to the store alone this time, with the intention of working with a female sales rep this time. The female rep and a male rep were the only ones working (according to them). When I tried to ask about the free delivery that was advertised on the flyer, the female rep got heated with me and insisted I was wrong and they’d never offer that and no furniture company would. (I understand there often needed to be a purchase minimum, but my frustration was with the flyer not saying what the minimum was.) After hearing what the price of the couch I was looking at would be + tax + delivery, I said I wanted to walk around the store and think about it because it was more than I had planned for. As the rep was walking away, I heard her say something to the male rep working about how I was being ridiculous (basically). I spoke up and tried to explain my frustration again, and the male rep started arguing with me. Even if I had absolutely loved the couch I was looking at, I wouldn’t have bought it after this experience. No one working at the time deserved the commission from my order. I took my business to a competitor store, got exactly the help I needed with a much better employee experience and paid the same price as I would have at Ashley for a new couch I actually LOVE, not just like. (With a much, much quicker delivery time.) I’ll never shop at Ashley (at least this location) again.

Ali: Horrible experience. These people are scammers and the only thing that matters to them is to rip you off. I got my furniture after 20 plus weeks even though they said it will take 8 to 12 weeks. No communication at all. Once I received it, one of the chair didn’t fit so I asked the delivery guy to take it back and he didn’t. Told me to call the store which I did but she said that I should have given to the delivery person but she told me that she will me tomorrow. She calls me at 2:30PM while I am out with the family and tells me that w have an hour to deliver the furniture otherwise the return won’t work. I called the corporate office on Saturday who told me that they will call me in 24 hours but they were off on Sunday. So never got a call but when I called on Monday, the lady apologized for not calling me and told me that I cannot return the item and I have to keep it. So they never called me and try ever scam art to make me keep the item. Horrible horrible and I have been buying from them for years but found out their real face in just a simple return

Chris Jacobson: We ordered a sectional and a dining table in November of 2021 and was told our products would arrive by March of 2022. Everytime we would call, we would be told a new time frame and finally our sectional was scheduled and arrived after paying separate shipping. I kept getting the run around on the delivery date for the dining table and kept getting told a few more weeks. We'll fast forward to June 2022 and I am still being told it could arrive at the end of June or sometime in July. I asked specifically if it will arrive in June or July and was told that they are unsure. At this point I requested a refund and will never purchase another item from this company. By far the worst furniture shopping experience I have ever had.

If you already know what you want and just want to see fabric, material, or hardware samples then this place will work. Otherwise just go to the DC location that has actual furniture. Disappointment really. They should advertise this as a design studio and not a furniture store.

Ravi Singh: While the shopping experience was pleasant, taking delivery of the furniture was painful and a commotion. Ramadan was helpful, thanks. Saw interesting paintings in the store. VCF subcontracts delivery to another company and it was a very unpleasant and stressful experience. As the sofa did not fit into the Elevator, we paid extra cash to others to get the sofa delivered to the apartment. Calling VCF for help was absolutely meaningless. Talking to two service delivery managers of the contracting company was of no use either. One of the delivery service manager said, we signed a contract for delivery agreeing to the terms. We never signed a contract and all that we were given was a cash register receipt in the store. The delivery crew and service managers kept telling us they would take the furniture back and we have to reschedule and pay additional $200. Better to discuss all the delivery logistics before purchasing.

Ythalo Saldanha: We entered VCF to buy a sofa with the option of using it as a bed as well. The saleswoman was very attentive and helped us buy a sofa and additionally we decided to bring a table too. A few days later we received the table and the sofa. The table was working perfectly, but a few minutes after delivery the sofa literally started to fall apart. We made videos and photos, sent them to VCF Value City Furniture, who in response stated that we had to wait in a problem queue, in order to receive an employee at our house to check the problem. The next day, we decided to go to the store to return the product. After explaining the problems, we were informed that in order to return we had to pay a fine of 15% of the value of the product (which was completely problematic, poorly manufactured, low quality). After exposing videos and photos to the employee, the manager was called to evaluate. The manager was very inelegant and surprised us by commenting that if we buy a low quality product, we have to receive a low quality product. We were literally surprised by the comment, after all, we went to VCF to understand the products sold there are of high quality. Apparently they are not. The fact is that we bought it, it wasn't cheap, and at no time did the seller tell us about the quality of the product. I am attaching the video and photos of the problem and product quality that we received. Attention: Do not let the delivery people leave your house before checking the product very carefully.

Louis Michael: This is a late post, but I really enjoy the furniture I bought at a fair price from this location. The people inside are very helpful and patient. I liked the deal where there was one delivery cost for multiple items, even if they had different delivery dates. I was shopping for pieces of furniture during the pandemic and my order kept getting delayed, but I am not sure this was in Value City Furniture's control. Keep that in mind that pieces can get delayed during the pandemic.

Alberto Hamilton: My family and I came in for a Milo Sectional. As soon as we came in, Carlos Sanchez greeted us with a big smile and a friendly demeanor. Carlos quickly showed us what we were looking for, gave us the information on cost, available date and color of the sectional we were looking for. Carlos also told us about the 5 year warranty which my wife and I decided to purchase. Great customer service and knowledge is not often found, but my family and I are extremely pleased and satisfied we received a class A service from Carlos. Atat Riches: Got the best sale experience from Fall Church, VA 22041 Value City store. The sales rep named -Genet was amazing. She’s exceptionally nice and patient with us. We got ultimate satisfaction from our products as a result of her effort in ensuring we got exactly what we wanted from the store. She’s an excellent sale person!!!

Leah Gonzalez: ***UPDATE*** A year after purchasing our dining room set and bedroom set, I feel the need to share that the furniture is definitely a value buy AKA cheap! Our bed frame design broke one day after installation. We have an LED lamp on our headboard that stopped working three months after purchase. Our furniture was delivered in parts. We received our dining room chairs first, then two weeks later, our dining table. VCF is a great humble beginning. The quality is what you pay for. It looks nice, but it's not sturdy or a keepsake. The furniture at VCF is not an investment. IKEA has furniture that is more reliable than VCF. After a year of ownership, I wouldn't purchase from VCF again.

Maria Avila: DON'T DO IT!!!!... 👎 BAD quality of furniture. Not as advertised. We've had a broken bed for 5 months now and we have yet to receive p7r replacement. They keep blaming covid but they've had this problem before covid. Our furniture arrived chipped with missing part and broken. They always send it back but i constantly had to call to follow up. I've called out work expecting furniture and they never call, apologize or give a new date. Most employees have an attitude and show poor costumer service by giving wrong information on availability and delivery dates. The repair person cursed me out and said he had clocked out and I never came to even look at what was wrong with my bed. Overall I've had a negative experience with them. Avoid this store and future headache if possible

Hui Su Loo: I shopped at this store and a gentleman named Nelson was knowledgeable about the furniture and attentive to me. He gave me space to shop and answered all my questions about a sofa. He was very helpful and asked me how I had been sleeping at night. When I told him about how I tossed and turned, he recommended a Tempurpedic mattress that he himself had purchased. Walter Gabriel Rivera Guzman: We ordered a dinning table at the end of January 2022. They told us that delivery would happen in about 2 weeks. Since then, delivery was pushed out twice apparently due to the pandemic. We're close to the end of March and we still have not received the dinning table or an update whatsoever. We also tried to cancel the order twice. They said that they will 'put in a request and get back to us in approximately 10 days' but nothing happened. Oh and they charged the credit card. We're talking about a $2000 dinning table. I checked the website today and the listing for the table says it is 'in stock and ready to ship.' I will put in a complaint with my credit card and every consumer protection agency I can find out there. This store is a scam. Unbelievable how they trick people with their nicely furnished store and website. Order number: 320303635033.

Seda Yildirim Babakiray: Long story short: West Elm is not capable of cancelling an order. I ordered a chair on Jan 3rd with estimated delivery date in Feb. They postponed the delivery date 5 times. I have been asking them to cancel my order for the last 3 months but they are lying to my face that it will be shipped in the next 2 weeks. And they can not cancel the order because it is fulfilled and it is in the container (for the last 4 months!!!). I had the worst customer experience. The next estimated delivery date is June 29th and when I told them I am not home and refuse this shipment customer representative offered “I should kindly ask my neighbour to return the product”. They are a joke. I’ll not shop here again (never ever!). I have never been treated such poorly as a customer. Now it is my mission to spread the word! Shannon: Called the store. Employee was still having a conversation with someone else and was laughing. I inquired about something in stock and shipping. I got some answers, but also a ton of attitude. No wonder why this store gets terrible reviews. Needless to say I will be buying elsewhere.

Kristina D.: Back in mid February sold me a couch claiming it would arrive in no later than 2-4 weeks. That is what led me to purchase. Months later, no couch, stuck in distribution, no returns available. The staff at this location are misinformed and/or omitting information for the sake of a sale. It’s been an extreme hassle to get help from customer service.

Miles Weldon: If you want your order in a reasonable timeframe DON'T ORDER FROM WEST ELM. Been furnishing an entire home and out of all companies West Elm is BY FAR the worst. Shipping estimates are completely inaccurate and don't get updated. Have had to call numerous times a couple days prior to the delivery date to finally be told there would be a delay on products I've ordered. If you're ordering a large piece like a table or couch just assume you will wait 6+ months regardless of what their website says.

gopi gunturu: I have ordered Dining chairs and Dining Table on Jun19. the chairs came quickly and they were good. The dinning table was back ordered to be delivered by Aug 03. and i am still waiting for the dinning table. The design and products are good but the customer service is not good. I had to make many calls to find out when the table will be delivered and don't get any answers. Here are the various issue I had when dealing with West Elm 1. the customer rep will say that they will transfer to the delivery depart and the call ends. They transfer to a number that is not working. Happened multiple times. 2. I wanted them to replace 2 chairs (1 box) but they sent 2 boxes (4 chairs) I had to take the heavy boxes to return to UPS. 3. The customer service Rep will tell I should get a call back in 24hrs, but that never happens. 4, My order was delivered to wrong delivery center and it is taking ages to be moved to the right delivery center. Because of the customer service, I would not recommend.

Saraswathi Gautham: Worst furniture shopping experience I’ve had and I just furnished an entire house. I went into to purchase a side table and lamps. They were being gifted by my father and when making a payment we were told he couldn’t complete the transaction with an international credit card. The sales person recommended we make the purchase by buying a gift card and using that to place the order. After charging us for the gift card and placing the order she tells us we were also charged a $150 for shipping. As I didn’t want to pay $150 shipping for just an end table I asked to change the order items and I was told I could cancel my order but not change the order. I would also only get a refund in the form of a gift card and even though the items I was changing my order to were coming out to $200 lesser than what I was being charged for I wouldn’t get a refund for the difference but just a store credit for the amount of my original purchase which the sales agent charged without fully going over the breakdown. Till now I have had to talk to 3 people to even get to the point of them telling me that I would only get a gift card with each person saying it was a mistake the store made but not offering up any real solutions. Add to all this that they have mentioned all this only via email and have not provided any receipt for the order cancellation or the new gift card issue. I’m accepting the gift card issue ( still pending actually receiving it) only as a last resort to make sure I don’t lose all my money. This transaction has felt like nothing more than an entrapment to get my money without anything to show for it. Absolutely horrendous experience. Completely unhelpful and careless sales and management at the store and customer service that’s been frustrating to deal with

Rachel Wood: Worst service I've ever experienced. I was supposed to have all of my furniture by November 26th. They ghosted me on a scheduled delivery. I had to reach out and re-schedule myself, they never acknowledged their mistake. Then I was supposed to get it yesterday, but they call to say that one of the pieces won't be there because they "forgot it." Then I get an email today that the final piece is delayed and won't be here till mid December-January. Terrible service, very unprofessional, extremely disappointing. don't waste your money for them to just waste your time.

Isidor Dimitrijevic: This business is fraud. After waiting four months for my set of nightstands to arrive, they managed to sent only one of the two and guess what!? It was broken. After couple of tries with their phone support or store manager Kevin to fix shipping issue, i decided to cancel order and return broken night stand without waiting for the 2nd nightstand to arrive at my house. Guess what?! I’m still waiting for my refund, it’s been whole month already. If you all respect your money think twice before making purchase at this fraudulent, slow and extremely unprofessional business.

Radwan Idris: I had been looking for a new couch and happened to drive by this store. Didn’t expect to find a couch I liked as I had been looking for a while. Stephanie one of the sales agents greeted me and helped me find a couch I liked. She was really great to work with, helpful and pleasant. I was told the couch would take 8-12 weeks but it came in less than 4 weeks! Scheduling the delivery was also quick and painless. The delivery guys worked quick and efficiently. Wish I had gotten their names. It’s been a couple months and have been happy with my purchase.

Sanjeev Rastogi: We visited Ashley Store for Sofa set, Dining table and breakfast table. We were forced to rush to buy sofa and love seat with lucrative offer of manager's special discount along with current running deal of no tax+ free delivery so we stayed there till 9pm and appreciated everyone else who stayed for later hours to make this deal happen . We were told to make the purchase then and there and it was open for cancellation or any change before 2 days of delivery. Next day when i checked online the price for same item, it was exactly what we paid and it didn't match the itemized price we were given initially. It was our bad that we didn't compare while paying as we were rushed to finish up. We visited the store again and we were told that online price is different than the store price and they cant match it with current promotion of free tax and delivery. Also the computer automatically adjust the prices so the billed price was more. So we requested to cancel the order as we were not happy and were not provided with enough information the previous day. The other manager available mentioned that she doesn't have authority to cancel the purchase. When we mentioned that we were told that we can make any changes she got upset and the sales person, started yelling on us. Store manager finally cancelled the order with really bad attitude. The associate at billing was rude too saying that they all stayed until 9pm and we were cancelling. We felt too much of mental and emotional pressure, I will never go to that store ever although its just 2 miles from my home.

Brenda Flanigan: The sales team did a phenomenon job with the furniture purchase however the day of delivery was a major problem. The headboard that was purchased came with a wooden frame with drawers however given the situation it was best to use a regular metal frame. The frame that was delivered was incorrect, therefore it could not attach to the headboard. The heardboard during set up was put together poorly and some parts do not sit flush with the pieces. A visit to the store to have correct frame ordered was easy. A frame delivery came and there was no hardware to attach the headboard together. Cancelled delivery because it would have been a incomplete set up. Fast forward…. MULTIPLE calls made and lots of discussions all with different employees I was TOLD we do not provide the hardware to connect the metal frame to the headboard and I would need to figure out and provide what size bolts and nuts to use. I was also told that some furniture prices do not come with hardware. What kind of business is this? You’re supposed to deliver and set up. Now I understand that I did not purchase the wooden frame with drawers but any other company would have still provided bolts and nuts for the metal frame, I know this because I’ve ordered it like this many times. I will never order furniture from this store ever again and I will tell people to be very cautious to order from this company.

Nicole Thorne: I am extremely satisfied with the Alexandria Rep named Krissy. She went above and beyond to help me with a re-order of furniture. At the time, my first shipment was not successful, but Krissy made it her duty to help me re-order, change the necessary account information and even added notes for the delivery reps to take all steps to have my furniture delivered. She maintained contact with me with proper follow up through emails and calls to make sure all went well. I am extremely grateful. Thank you Krissy for your hard and dedicated work.

Josiah Haddleton: Overall, I'd give the full experience 4 stars, but my experience with Elizabeth at the store was definitely 5 stars! Victoria James: Would rate 0, if I could. Completed our cash purchase on 26 October 2021. The floor sales agent said although the signs stated 8 weeks, I could easily have my $2000+ sofa in less than 2. It is now 10 weeks since purchase and we yet have a delivery date. After several calls I am provided the same "canned" response: We have one piece in a warehouse pending deliver and one piece still on order. I asked if I can cancel our purchase. Ashley's response is I must wait 2 weeks beyond the required delivery date to cancel the purchase and it will be for in-store credit only. Why would I cancel now, only to wait another 3, THREE, months for a couch Ashley easily took my hard-earned money and dismally failing to deliver on product!!!!! I will never patron at Ashley HomeStore again. I'll add that the sales agent who closed the sale IS NOT the same floor sales agent that "sold" me the couch. False promises to get you to purchase. AVOID and save yourself grief and sore disappointment.

Patrick Greer: Very smooth process from purchase to delivery. The salesman was very helpful and friendly, got our item ordered at a reasonable price. Our couch was ready earlier than expected, and the delivery team they contracted had it off the truck and set up in our home and back out the door in 10 minutes flat.

C P: Elizabeth and Amazon was super great with their customer service. They tried to give me the best price that can with taxes and shipping included and was transparent regarding shipping date. My couch was in stock and it took only 3 days to ship to my house. I can’t wait for my couch! Will definitely be back in the future. The older bad reviews I feel like they are from online orders. I bought a Philips Latte Go Machine $800.00ish, it is broken after 11 months it just stopped working. Sent to Philips to repair. They sent it back with even more issues than before, and it is still broken and with someone else’s parts! They said “use it for awhile and it will get better”!🙄 makes brown water espresso. Nizar Farsakh: Higher-end furniture store with a large selection of stylish and sometimes practical furniture. They also have kitchen utensils and appliances, though I would go for the furniture more than the appliances. A bit on the pricey side but arguably hit and miss on the quality. Staff is pretty knowledgeable and helpful. They do get pretty busy at times and parking can be a challenge. I would plan to run a few errands like going to the Whole Foods next by to park.

Daniel Brown: I came in to exchange a toaster I bought online and I think her name was June or Jane but she was an absolute delight. Really made my day.

Said Durrah: Crate and Barrel staff are the difference. You don't feel like they are hard selling you. They help with a smile and make you enjoy the shopping experience.

Lauren Geilfuss: Just called to check stock on an item. They don’t carry it in store and charge almost $100 to ship it. I expressed we would go a different direction because of the shipping costs and that if it’s an item unavailable for pick up in store, it would make sense the shipping costs be waived. The employee laughed at my frustration on the phone and while laughing said “okay, have a good day, bye.” Completely disregarding my frustration, made no attempt to mend the issue or ensure our business. I always have the worst customer service no matter what Crate and Barrel I attempt to work with.

Maria Napitupulu: We went to Bob's on Tuesday looking for a dining set. We had the BEST experience!! Jeff helped us that day and he went above and beyond to help us with our purchase. He was nice, funny, and very helpful. Not pushy as sometimes you go to stores that are. We were happy with the purchasing process and excited to get our first dining room set. Brownie points go to the snack station with ice cream and cookies very nice touch. :)

Romane Crispin: Love my purchase and the sale rep was super amazing. The one issue I had was with the payment process as it took way too long to pay for my item. I was trying to take advantage of the 6 months no interest plan but the credit card company's system malfunctioned for about 45min. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

Hannah Ouellette: Ben helped us find a dining room set, rug, and throw pillows for our new home. Even though he did not make commission on our custom order pillows (due to the ordering process) he went above and beyond to print out all the ordering information we would need to place a custom order through customer service. Additionally, he took a call from us when he was off work and returned to the office that same day to schedule our delivery to ensure we got the delivery date of choice. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him!

George Bo Clevenger: James was great to work with. Very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. From what I saw the furniture looks pretty decent and at competitive prices. Check out their outlet section online. You might not find a matching set but there are some good deals there.

Lily Lin: My fiance and I ordered a recliner sofa and paid $150 for installation and delivery only to find that the footrests and seats were tilted inwards, and that the whole sofa was bent into a U shape. After having a Customer Care Representative come out to look at it, we found out that the support legs in the middle were not installed. We spoke with them on the phone and they tried to sell us goof protection instead. After clarifying and speaking with the manager, he finally told us that the parts are on back-order and we now have to wait 2 weeks for a replacement couch and take another day off to wait for it and make sure that it is installed correctly. They refused to refund us any of the installation fee and it was only after talking to the store manager himself that he agreed to refund a portion of the fee. Overall our experience with the company so far has been subpar and I would not recommend them at all.

Monica Campbell: My salesperson, Shawn in Rockville, is the real deal. He provided top shelf customer service and assistant. I returned to Bob’s because of him. When purchasing large ticket items there is a great deal of thought, questions as well as hesitancy. Shawn patiently walked me through everything from the time I entered the store until the furniture was delivered. The purchase and delivery was flawless. Great store and great salesperson.

Justin Montenegro: Jeff helped my wife and I pick out a mattress. He was extremely accommodating and generous with his time. Went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I picked out the best mattress that suited our specific needs. He didn’t push us at all and after shopping at other stores around the area in Maryland, we ended coming back to Jeff because the difference in customer service he provided was palpable. You can tell he cares and looks out for you. My wife and I are grateful for the service, patience, and knowledge he provided.

Jasmine Odenat: I really like this store and the workers here. They’re very friendly and I’m able to get what I’m looking for, as well as “goof proof” insurance on my furniture. Even the clearance section has good looking quality items sold at a great price. Am definitely a repeat customer and will be using them for a long time

Karin Umanzor: My husband and I went to look for a small sofa set and decided to go to this location after being recommended there. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Patrick N. He then offered us helped to find what we were looking for with a very positive attitude and was funny as well building that customer/employee relationship. Unfortunately the system was down that day and we decided to wait hours since we really wanted to purchase the sofas that same day. Patrick went above and beyond to try to help us and give us different options while we waited. He saw how important it was for us to purchase the sofas that day so I appreciated all his help even though it was limited because of the system being down. Also I want to thank Launa who helped us as well at the end after Patrick reached out for extra help. Also the manager that day got involved and helped us. We were very pleased how everyone involved tried to help us one way or another. Thank you so much Patrick we are happy with our purchase!

Joyce Williams: As soon as I walked in a salesman was ready to assist me. I explained what I was looking for and he immediately started showing me furniture. He was very professional, efficient , and patient with my making my decision. Once I decided on my purchase, it was easy to check out and complete the transaction. The salesman was excellent. I Highly recommend him. Great painless experience.

John Kemp: A few months ago, I went to a different furniture store and picked out and paid for some items. Almost two months later, I still didn’t have my items and the store wasn’t sure when they’d be able to get them to me. I canceled that order and started shopping around again when I found a sectional I liked on Bob’s website. I found a location near me in Hyattsville in the hopes that I could take a look at it in person. I’m always hesitant about furniture shopping because of the nature of it; the employees hover around you ready to pounce on any opportunity to make a sale. That was not my experience at Bob’s Furniture. The staff was attentive but laid back and respectful of my space and my need to explore before deciding. I had a great time chatting with Julissa, the salesperson who helped me. We tried out different options with what I was looking for in mind until we found something I loved and could easily afford. The best part was that delivery was schedule for less than two weeks from the date I made my purchase! I can’t wait to see how things go with the delivery but so far, my experience with Bob’s Furniture was a great one. Thanks, Julissa!

LadyK: My experience was wonderful. My representative was Kirk and he answered all questions that I had and made sure that I was happy and knowledgeable about the product I was purchasing. He allowed me to take my time to look around at all choices and was available for any questions I had a long the way. I am looking forward to my bed arriving soon. My furniture arrived and the setup was quick and the workers were very professional. I absolutely love my storage bed and mattress . The drawers for the storage bed are very deep with lots of space. No complaints about the price money well spent for quality furniture.

Scorpio Queen: Excellent experience at this location. Victor & his manager were very helpful in ensuring I was taken care of. Victor took his time and explained the pros and cons of every item I was considering. I never felt like he was trying to “sell” me. If you stop at Bob’s, make sure you ask for Victor!!! I’m sure you will have the same experience I did!!!

Carilee McCue: Had been to bob’s the day before with some others who made purchases. Returned and bought a recliner for myself along with a friend who bought himself a new recliner. Everyone was eager to assist, answering question, sharing information. The showroom was very clean and well organized. Very comfortable and inviting. We’ll return again.

Amina Rogers: Thanks to Keisha for helping me find and play with the Jules drop leaf table (and the two floor sample Baltimore dining chairs), Cole for a seamless check out, and Jocelyn (sp?) for her help in picking up all the furniture. Had a great experience and the table was delivered to the store 2 weeks earlier than was promised so that was the cherry on top. Appreciate you all and loving my dining set.

Michelle Lovely: Sales people are not knowledgeable beyond information on website. Style over function. Skip the "Premium Rug Pad" -- It's cheap, very thin, arrived late with stains and tears.

Neil Shatzer: One of the worst experiences I have ever had! I ordered a table November 3rd that was labeled IN STOCK and ready for delivery in 2 weeks or so. The table was BEAUTIFUL, my wife was happy she found one she liked. We thought we might have it for the family to enjoy for 1 or 2 of the holidays as they told us we would. It is now May 14th and we still don't have the table. Besides that (bc there are companies all over the country blaming covid or shipping problems across the board) we were told on May 11th that it was finally at the delivery center and for me to call there and set up a delivery date. Well, the number I called no one answered bc it was 1 hour before they were closing and no one wanted to work. I left a message and the next couple days no one called me back. I called today and finally got a hold of someone who told me that they were waiting on an item still. I said that there is only one item. They told me to call the store, if it comes in 2 pieces or something. The lady at the store had no idea told me to call customer service. I called there and they told me to call the delivery company. I called there again to hopefully talk to a manager or someone who had answers and they wouldn't be there until 12 noon. I talked with 5 people before I finally talked with someone who wanted to help me. They didn't really know what to do. But, had the good intensions to find out for me. It took an hour today. But, I finally set up a delivery date for the 19th.

Beth Anne Redmond: After trying to reach customer service for 30 minutes unsuccessfully I called the Bethesda store. I needed to have an item sent to me instead of being collected from the store. The first woman who answered told me I needed phone customer service. I asked again if she could help & again I was told she couldn't help & to call customer service. I called again & talked to Melinda (sorry if that's right) & within 5 minutes, viola, she said my candle would go out via UPS this afternoon. She's a rock star & saved the day. This is what I call "total customer satisfaction!" I'll continue to shop at West Elm because of this experience.

Susan Louis: I never been in store before . Just be aware this is just a high end ikea . I bought a table and 8 chairs . I paid extra for assembly assuming they would do it all . The table came with two guys who assembled . The 8 chair came via UPS unassembled !!!! Quality is just above IKEA Never shop here again

Isidor Dimitrijevic: Finally picked damaged item. 4.5 months waiting for half of my order to arrive at the store, second half got back-ordered even though it’s same pair of nightstands. Worse e-shopping experience by far, store poorly managed had to go 4 times to the store. Ridiculous how bad this brand is.
