Capital Kitty Cat Resort: what do users think?

Monchella Williamson: Capital Kitty Cat Resort is awesome. They took great care of my fur baby. So much so, she didn’t want to leave. With daily pictures and report cards, my heart was at ease while on travel. I highly recommend this place for anyone in need of cat care.

T. Gabby Hayward: They took such good care of my baby while I was away for a few days. Booking online is so easy and they send a report card each day with a picture or two. Highly recommended for boarding and daily visits. The staff is also friendly and they love the kitties ❤

Mary Kathryn Howard: Fairly priced and my cats seemed perfectly happy after! They only stayed one night, and got a brush and nail trim.

Monika Shayka: Positive: Professionalism, Reliability, Responsiveness, ValueThe staff at Capital Kitty Resort do such a great job. I know that whenever I leave my cat, he is in good hands, and I so appreciate this peace of mind! Everyone that I have come in contact with has been so kind, and I can tell they genuinely care for each cat. I can’t recommend enough!

Danielle Cantey: If i could give this place 10 stars I would! Have used this place twice for multi-night boarding and my cat loves it here. Dave is amazing and treats all the kitties as his own. I never have to worry about her while I’m away and they send daily photos and reports that let me know how she’s behaving, eating and more! Will absolutely use this as my go-to cat boarding center.

Mitchell Felton: Positive: Professionalism, QualityAll around a fantastic experience. My cat had never been boarded before, and is admittedly pretty sassy and difficult to deal with when stressed. The staff were incredibly patient with her and by the time she left, Ozzie was very comfortable with them. If I ever need boarding services again I will be returning.

City Dogs Daycare: what do users think?

Laura Vincent: I love bringing my dogs to citydogs for doggy daycare. They come home happy and dog tired. I love reading my daily report cards, so cute :) The staff are friendly with me and observant of my pups’ needs. For example, my dogs are in between a big dog and a small dog size. Ginsy is confident and can play with any sized dog, the David is beta and submits easily to bigger dogs, but they are bonded. One day, David wasn’t having as much fun in the big dog room. So, the staff moved them both to the small dog room to see if that was more enjoyable. It was! Since then, both my pups get the most out of their visits and are always excited to go back. The one downside is that the facility is indoors and the floors are tile. It’s inevitable their paws will be a little stinky when they get home. But you can’t blame city dogs for that! This is very common for doggy daycares in the city; It comes with the territory. I recommend using “Scrubby rinse free shampoo mittens” with oatmeal waterless shampoo or oatmeal wipes. It’s a great alternative to a full bath that will still get them clean. If it’s time for your dog to get a bath, city dogs has bathing services that are affordable. And they schedule the bath around when you will pick your pup up, so they are fresh and clean when you arrive.

MICHELLE MARSHALL: This is my first dog and her first grooming experience. I was very excited for her. However, when I got home to see her I cried. She looked horrible. All her beautiful fir on her face was gone. Her hair was frizzy, dry and wild. The cut looked very unfinished and uneven even though all we asked for was a trim. The groomer cut too close on her nose and created a cut/irritation. She’s been scratching at it ever since. Not to mention one of her paws is still sharp. I’m not only dissatisfied but I feel guilty for Putting her through this. I’ve wasted money before and can get over that but my baby is looking bad right now. I haven’t gone there to complain or argue…. Even though I’m angry and sad. What’s done is done. She will not be returning for a grooming experience. I’ve seen better work at petco. If you believe me check out the before & after pics……

Natalie Bohnet: Positive: Reliability, ValueMy energetic beagle mix Pablo goes into City Dogs daycare very enthusiastically. He comes home tired & happy. Buying the pass makes it reasonably priced. I love the photos on the door welcoming the new dogs! Great place!

Haddassah Goldberg: I have been considering giving City Dogs a try because we recently moved to the neighborhood and they’re so close to my home, but I walked by this afternoon and they had their front door propped wide open. My dog is a runner, and I’m sure he’s not the only dog who would make a break for it if he made it to the lobby. I will be looking elsewhere because this left an awful taste in my mouth.

Jenelle Thomas: My furry kid’s first day was amazing! We felt so welcomed, especially seeing his personal ‘Welcome’ sign. The staff were patience, friendly and attentive, all the qualities my senior dog needs. I truly appreciated the video update of my pup- to see that he didn’t appear anxious and was very intrigued. I’m excited for my pup to join the City Dog family!

Alison Griner: Took my dog to daycare, inside is clean and they keep your dog on leash until past several doors. It was her first time there, so she received a free bath, an adorable framed photo, and a detailed report card. Felt very welcome by the staff including posting a welcome poster of her on the door!

Colleen Turner: Positive: ProfessionalismI send my dog to City Dogs H St for grooming. The staff is so friendly and takes great care of him. He comes home clean and in a good mood, which says A LOT for a dog who doesn’t love a bath!

Traycie Powell: Voltaire always has the best time with his City Dog friends. He is exhausted by the time he gets home...which shows me he had a blast! I love all the pictures and videos the staff send when requested. Great hours for those of us who work long days. 🐾5 PAWS 🐾

Megan Bailey: I brought my dog there for the first time and put in specific instructions regarding my dog being sensitive and to go slow. I also gave instructions when I dropped him off. When I picked him up I asked how it went and they said great! He was cut shorter than I preferred but that was fine. I get my dog into the car and he is absolutely terrified. He growled at me several times when I tried to touch his tail or feet which has not happened before. I am not sure what they did to my dog but I would never recommend this place. As an FYI I also emailed them and it has been over a week with no response about this.

Pender Pet Retreat at Dulles Gateway: what do users think?

Margaret LeGendre: We went out of town and needed a place for our two pups to stay. We have never used a boarding service before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Our dogs came back excited and looking happy. They were well cared for and were able to be together which was super important to us. We will be back! Thanks Pender Pet Retreat!

Hannah Williams: I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE HAPPY! We needed a place for our dog to stay. We recently switched over to this daycare from another one due to outrageous daycare conditions and service. The staff are friendly, responsive , and the best of the best. I was nervous about boarding him again. I’m so glad we decided to book with PP RETREAT! They notified me right away that my dog had a loose stool & wanted to make sure it was ok to treat him for it. They gave me a boarding report card & I received a discount for it being our first time booking. The customer service was OUTSTANDING & I can’t wait for him to go back. I recommend booking with them because they are TOP NOTCH & you won’t be disappointed! The drive is a bit far but it is worth the drive. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Erica-Sayre Moll: My two pups were well cared for and happy during their overnight stay. One is an elderly rescue who is fearful of humans and he did really well. Very grateful to have a boarding option for a pup with special needs. Also—Really appreciate the Report Card! Will definitely recommend to friends and will use them again. Their facility is well worth the drive to Chantilly.

E H: I appreciated that I was called when my dog had loose stools and the staff was ready to make adjustments to his diet to help. I was not happy when picking up my dog, the staff member casually mentioned that they noticed my dog was limping today. My dog was recovering from a knee issue and we provided information on this at drop off, in the paperwork, and over the phone, requesting that he not be allowed to run or jump. The staff member at checkout time did not seem to have any understanding of the situation or special instructions.

Bonnie Leventhal: Truly the best place ever! We just left our 2 year old pup there for 10 days and this was her 3rd stay and it was just as wonderful as the first two. She stayed in a presidential suite so we could see her on the webcam; this allowed me to check in on her but I also called in several times to check in. Every staff member is super friendly and warm!! I watched her interact with the staff as they came in and out for many walks and to feed her. Her room was entirely clean the whole time. I couldn’t be happier with Pender. We did an extensive review of all the pet resorts and chose Pender for many reasons; outdoor walks on real grass, 24 hour staff presence, spacious individual room with webcam. We are so grateful to have Pender - it allows me to relax when out of town, knowing our fur baby is being cared for so well!

Emily Flowers: They were great at letting me know how my dog did during evaluations and made helpful recommendations for the future. I immediately bought 30 sessions because it was worth it. My dog slept like a baby upon returning home and seemed content!

Mary princiotta: Pender Pet Air Employees cared for our dog from California to VA., boarded him with Pender Pet Retreat and cared for him, like a family member. Very pleased with the care and attention to our dog, Perry. Highly recommend this facility and Kim at Happy Tails Travel.

Just Cats Clinic: what do users think?

ghost script: For those looking for a good vet, I definitely recommend Just Cats. Really good staff, great vets, and super patient with him despite his hatred of them. He is really feisty at the vet and some vets get scared of that—and as you can imagine, that doesn’t end well. These vets are excellent at dealing with him (he’s a meanie so I especially appreciate their patience with me and him), and take great care and patience when handling him. A friend who works at another vet’s office in Silver Spring (different company) recommended this one after I’d had a bad experience at another Reston vet, and I’m really glad she did. They definitely seem to care about the cat, and they’re more understanding when it comes to his moods. The pricing is well explained and not overpriced—I don’t feel like I’m being overcharged or lied to. They will show you a list of the pricing and explain things, and make sure you’re okay with it before they do anything. If they have to sedate your cat for any reason (mine is MEAN so I understand completely), they take great care to make sure the cat is okay before sending him home. When they talk to me, it feels like a human-to-human conversation—not a sales voice or fake personality. I don’t feel like I’m being talked down to or disrespected in any way. I’ve worked in customer service before, so this is also really important to me. They have very nice facilities and even have boarding available. They make sure the owner understands the process of whatever they are doing or going to do, and as someone who is very detail-oriented, I find this extremely important. They also have a lot of patience with my ADHD and forgetting to email back right away. I appreciate all of their patience and understanding, and would recommend them to any cat owner!

Em: Staff are easy to get in touch with and respond promptly to questions. They are detail-oriented and make sure to “check everything out” and be thorough without subjecting kitties to tests/procedures that aren’t necessary and may be stressful. Dr. Smith is the most thorough and caring vet to have ever seen my cats, spending over an hour with each of them on their initial exam - my only regret is that I didn’t switch to Just Cats sooner. Dr. Smith found son emerging concerns that my previous vet practice (since 2012) had glossed over, failed to mention or missed entirely. Thanks to Dr. Smith, all of these issues were noticed early enough that they should be able to be mitigated/managed/avoided fairly easily. I would rate Just Cats 15/10. They are probably not “the cheapest” on the planet but my kitties’ health is worth it, and I’m confident that their proactive, preventive approach to veterinary care will actually reduce my veterinary expenses in the long run by improving their long-term health and helping to prevent/mitigate any chronic conditions. My cat Scarlett had a dental cleaning with Just Cats recently. She is a senior (> 12 year old) cat and recovered beautifully from the procedure; staff took incredible care of her and made sure she was alert and feeling well enough before sending her home. They even took X-rays so any unnecessary extractions could be avoided (she needed none, to my surprise). Any procedures for a senior cat that involve anesthesia always cause some anxiety, but I was confident that Scarlett was in the best hands possible. Thank you all for taking such good care of my kitties!!!

Roger Gaffey: The staff and vet were very friendly, they really took care of our cat in an emergency situation. Presented the options with the focus being on treating our cat, and what was best for him. Highly recommend this clinic if you have a cat who needs care.

Hannah Demaree: I love my cat so much but she can definitely be really mean. They’re so good and patient with her here! They listen to any concerns and clearly really care about her health and well being. She’s had all of her yearly visits for the last 4 years here as well as an emergency visit and a surgery. I feel really good about her being in their care! We’re moving soon and I’m really dreading having to try to find a vet as good as them when we do! I can’t recommend them enough!

Moriah: So im not going to lie, I was a mess last night. My 4.5yr male cat Milo just refused to eat last night, and i mean refused to eat ANYTHING even straight up turkey. All he wanted to do was hide under the bed, was lethargic, and just overall not himself and looked terrible. Just Cats was able to get us in last night for their urgent care hours, and took the most amazing care of him, and to be honest us. The vet did not sugarcoat anything, walked us through every possible treatment plan for our baby, and was just overall amazing. She did not tire of my never-ending worried mom questions, was able to give Milo injections to make him feel better asap, as well as leave us with medicine to take home. We are seriously considering switching to Just Cats Clinic now for our everyday non-emergent cat needs due to how positive of an experience this was. Thank you so much for helping Milo

Hyatt Place Washington Dc/White House: what do users think?

Erin Miller: beautiful hotel room. very clean, and amazing breakfast with all vegetarian options. the ladies at the front desk were super nice and informative. the valet was great too, I left my phone in the car by accident and he gladly retrieved our car for us so I could get it. thanks so much!

Catherine McGuckin: Wonderful Staff And Convenient Location!! This is a well-managed property and highly recommend! Your staff should be commended. Your valet men are hard working and made sure my son’s truck was out the night before he was to report to USMC Quantico. Thank you gentlemen!! Miss T! Thank you!!! Miss T saved the day ensure my son’s shirt was dry before his departure! You were so pleasant and we’re so grateful! Great property, nice variety at breakfast, rooftop bar was great! Easy walking distance to Metro!

Elizabeth Towe: Just completed a 5 night stay for our vacation to Washington DC and while I struggled to pick a hotel for us to stay at, I’m SO glad I chose this one. From the moment we checked in the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is so clean, the bed was SO COMFORTABLE - like sleeping on a cloud. Huge bonus for us was that they have Chromecast on the TV so you can watch your Netflix and other streaming services. The free breakfast was outstanding. It was different every day and they had such a nice variety of options. Location was convenient and within 30 min walk to National Mall and other attractions. Only a 5-10 min walk to the Metro if you choose to go that route like we did several times as well. I do want to note that the only disappointing thing we encountered was one night we heard what sounded like a band very close to the hotel playing drums and music til close to midnight. We used a sound machine app on our phones to drown out the noise so we could go to sleep. I HIGHLY recommend you end your hotel search now and book this hotel for Washington DC!

Humane Rescue Alliance: what do users think?

Gerson petersan: Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityInstant Towing Service Washington is awesome. Honest, Real, And provided a service that we should all expect in a company, especially one that takes care of your car. Thank you! Will always call them in the future.

Aloysia Jean: I’m a foster for the HRA and I’ve never encountered a shelter that cares more for their pets and makes the adoption process that seamless. All the animals I’ve fostered have been in great health, received phenomenal care, and had a wealth of resources to help them live their best lives.

Erick Gonzalez: The humane rescue alliance staff was very professional and helpful when my walker lost my dog in the city. They assured me that most lost dogs are returned to their owner and that my dog would turn up. A few hours after my report, the Humane Rescue Alliance called me back with the good news. They were prompt and accommodating— I was also afraid the person that found my dog would keep him, but the staff who worked with me assured me they would advocate on my behalf— five stars for the work they do and the services they provide to our loved furry family.

saahib aalim zafir: Look who I picked up at the adoption place. His name was Angel. Now he is called Bumba. He is 3 and a great companion. The process was easy and I really enjoyed the experience.

Eric Towler: Most professional, organized animal rescue I have seen. Great foster program as well as other. We fostered a dog and ended up adopting him. The amount of support was nothing short of amazing.

Lev Boonin: Adopted the most perfect and adorable poodle-mix from here. They had taken him in as a stray, cared for him, and made sure he had all his shots. When we met him, the staff were energetic, accommodating so that we could meet him in person (despite the pandemic) before welcoming him into our family. They helped to get him fixed, instructed us on feeding him, and were as excited to find him a home as we were to give one. They care about every animal as much as their future owners do.

Alex Navarro: Doing great work for animals! We foster for them and love being able to help animals find furever homes.

Elaine Shepherd: Well cared for and vetted pets are housed in a clean, calm atmosphere. Proficient and pleasant staff is also a plus. My cocker spaniel rescue is an absolute gem. Google them or visit to meet equally wonderful pets waiting to meet you.

melissa davis: Can’t understand why this place has so many good reviews!!!! Spoke to someone today regarding the poor innocent fox they captured few days ago, was not happy they played a part in killing this animal who was only protecting her babies!!! The Woman on the phone proceeded to tell me that no matter what they capture whether it’s a squirrel any kind of wildlife, they kill it!!!! No why would a place who claims to care for animals Carry out such a horrific act???? You people should be ashamed of yourself and I hope someday you shut down for good

Varun Kumar: We found a lost cockatiel outside our apartment building and called them for rescue. They guides us about how to keep the bird safe till they arrive. To our surprise they reached our place with 15-20 mins of our call. Also, the details were uploaded on their website within a couple of hours under lost and found section. Good professional work by the team here!

The Hay-Adams: what do users think?

Bill Maniatis: From the moment the door is opened for you, you will know that you are walking intro a most beautiful well maintained historical hotel. The facility is so well maintained and he attention to detail is second to none! Everything is clean and organized to perfection! Adding to that facility is the amazing staff! So helpful and polite and willing to perform the jobs so amazingly well. Proper turn down service, friendly and polite and so friendly This is the only place to stay in! The location is wonderful and extremely convenient however what makes The Hey Adams standout is the wonderful staff, attention to detail and how the hotel is maintained. Thank you all so much!

Evan D: Average person review: visiting from the South, and it’s an odd way to type out a review on how employees at a hotel can make you feel like you’re family here while thinking about how it’s their job to do so. It’s not a forced smile they put on, but rather a genuine atmosphere in all that they do for you. My bed was made multiple times a day, my dirty clothes were neatly folded in a small area in the room and I always had fresh towels. (It’s just a big thing for me) As I said before, the staff was more than welcoming! One gentlemen opened the door with a smile outside, and another opened it with a smile on the inside. I’m not anything special, but the Hay Adams staff sure did make me feel as if I was the most important person visiting for the next few days! Breakfast was outstanding; again, I’m a Southerner so breakfast is our staple. Didn’t get a chance to see the rooftop bar after walking 8 miles around DC because we were tired but everything about the inside and restaurant were perfect. As I said in the beginning is exactly what I want to say by ending; it’s a very hard way to describe how this building and staff make you feel like you’re family, and not just a temporary resident to fill a budget quota. There’s truly an indescribable feeling that walking into the Hay Adams is just like going to a distant relatives house. You don’t see them every day, but when you first arrive on the front porch, you’re greeted with a warm welcoming that makes you feel as if you’ve only been gone a few hours. 5 stars.

Katherine Collins: Treated my sister and her husband to a stay at the Hay-Adams & it’s one of the very few times I can say that it was absolutely worth every cent. Our rooms were impeccable, every member of the staff we encountered was genuinely caring, & every meal we ate was exceptional. Everything exceeded my expectations. I’ve never experienced anything like it; they must go out of their way to hire the best of the best & treat them well because nothing fell short of absolute excellence. I don’t think I could ever stay anywhere else in the city. It made our time in DC magical.

Tracey Vlahovic: This was an experience! From my room I can see the white house and such a wonderful view! I took the best pictures! The hotel bar was great and wonderful staff greeted us. We had many rooms booked and so many of my family came along and everyone enjoyed! I highly recommend!

Adam Galazka: Overall, just an amazing experience. I would give them 4.5 stars. Mainly because after our stay, we found some rim and tire damage from valet parking. Working with their management to address it. Booked this through Amex Platinum. Their check in process was amazing. From doors being open to everyone knowing your name, just great. This hotel is right down the street of the White House. Just an amazing location. Room was great with St. John view of the church. Room was spacious. Shower had an amazing pressure. Enjoyed the little touch of water and mandarins. Turn down service was also great as we did not expect it. We will definitely be back. Restaurant and bar/lounge on the premises are amazing.

brian perkins: Was visiting DC for the first time since the pandemic. So glad we stayed at The Hay-Adams. So charming. So comfortable. So beautiful. Such great service (the doormen, the waiters, the hostesses great you by your name every day!). I only had breakfasts there…and I miss them. Especially the corned beef hash. And they charged my Tesla. Perfect.

Priya R.: What an amazing experience. The location of the hotel is spectacular, the service is amazing and the rooms are beautiful. Special thanks to Brian Thomasson for going above and beyond to make sure my twin boys felt special during the stay. If you truly want a memorable experience, you cannot stay anywhere else. We plan to come back soon…many thanks for the fantastic memories.

Michelle W: My husband and I stayed in the Lafayette Park view suite for three nights and we were impressed with every aspect of this beautiful hotel - from the courteous and pleasant service from every employee we interacted with, an awesome concierge who set us up with an informative walking tour of DC, to the wonderful in room dining staff. Off the Record was a nightly favorite! We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Thomas Corcoran: Despite an issue with some minor room cleanliness, the hotel management handled it extremely well. The staff turned what would have been a disappointment into a very positive experience. We look forward to returning for a relaxing stay again.

Black Cat: what do users think?

Nick Pascale: performed there with my band, The Missing Peace (check us out) and the staff was extremely nice to us and treated us with utmost respect despite opening for a huge artist. Also music venues normally carry a stigma of being stingy with their alcohol in their drinks but Black Cat served great tasting, well mixed drinks - best venue i’ve experienced in the DMV area!

Ramiro Pena: My past two experiences have been dreadful. They pack the place so full of people it is really concerning. I straight up got panic attacks from just how many people are packed in post pandemic. God bless them but I guess it’s just not for me anymore. It’s so hard to ascertain when the events held here arent packed with a huge huge group of people because besides that I’m sure there are worthwhile acts to watch. I remember one group that did a really cool interpretive dance I’m sorry for the low score but thats me and I think I’m going to add some keywords so that a certain audience can understand. If you have autism or anxiety this might not be the most accesible place for you. The last two times I have been here getting a drink or even approaching the bar has been impossible. The place was so packed inevitability people were rubbing up against me CONSTANTLY. Personally I can’t stand that. This place has pinball which is nice but last time the one machine had a flipper broken. I wish I could enjoy being inside this place but theres no where to sit most of the time I feel awkward walking in and just standing around, I can’t feel comfortable dancing because theres no room to move without brushing up against someone. I just can’t stand that. This is a personal problem but if you have sensory issues like that consider this an advisement

kevin jenkins: Had a great time seeing Flobots. Bartenders are great. Tip them. Well.

JW Francis: I played here on 4/19 and had a wonderful experience! Very cool room with checkered floor. Very kind people behind the bar and working production. Two thumbs wayyyy up!

Robert Cardoni: Mid size music venue hosting indie and punk acts. Space is long and narrow - so sight lines and sound can be off near the back but it’s still a great space. They recently downsized from 2 levels to one. Kind of sad but at least they weren’t forced out of the neighborhood due to gentrification. Bring cash. No credit cards accepted They no longer have food :(

Noah's Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort: what do users think?

The Scraffords: We use the vet. We have have no issues in fact we love the vet. I will say that they are not the cheapest to go to but they are great with our animals and they can treat alot of things in house. We have 3 dogs and a cat all of which go there. 2 of the dogs are very senior. They are caring and it is easy to get an appointment.

Matthew Shetrone: Just getting info to boarder dog place looks to have a great 👍 staff and everything from small to large kennels for small to large dogs 🐕. They have many types of plans to care for your puppy babies . They even have runs ans outside areas for them to relive themselves.

Laurie Heisler (Dollhouse DIY): I absolutely love this place. They have always treated my dogs as family, their staff is always friendly and they are very helpful. Update: We are still using this facility. Over the years they helped us through a very difficult situation with our 13 year old mastiff and have continued to give great care to our other mastiff.

Omar Madrid: So I tried to have my dog boarded for a few days to include added walks, playtime and fill grooming. I also wanted to have this business daycare my dog one time a week. Now I just moved to the area(less than one week ago) but I cannot believe that for the simple reason that I do not have a permanent address they business did not want to providing their services. Mind you, that I am in a hotel which I provided their address and I also offered my previous address (that I own in another state) and they still refused saying that they need a permanent address in case I abandon her. The employee said that this was per the manager. When I asked to speak to the manager, all of a sudden the manager was not there and said that even if she was there then I would be given the same answer. My God, what a horrible way to conduct business. I will not beg anyone to allow me to use their service and I’m definitely not begging this company. If this is how you operate and are not willing to accommodate based on my unique situation then I’ll gladly take my business else where and encourage other to not do business with them.

Grand Hyatt Washington: what do users think?

Joshua Russell: The Grand Hyatt is a very large hotel near Chinatown, just a couple blocks from Capital One Arena. They have a covered car pull through if you are arriving by car which is nice in case of bad weather but can get a bit busy as it doesn’t seem anyone really is directing people. Once inside the check in desk is to the left rear of the very large lobby. The front desk staff is very nice and efficient. We were able to get checked in very quickly and able to get to our room with ease. The elevators are at the back of the lobby. There were about 6 elevators so you don’t have to wait long to catch one. The room is very spacious and very comfortable with a very nice sitting chair as well as a desk. We had a king bed and it was very comfortable, though one extra pillow would have been nice as there were three pillows so if there are two people both could have two. The bathroom is nice as well with good shower with perfect amount of water pressure. One thing you will notice is that in the hallways and lobby areas they are pumping a scent through the ventilation system. While I found it very nice others may be turned off by it. Overall it was a good hotel in a great location.

Melissa Marie: Great hotel location and close to major tourist areas and shopping. Room was a little dirty in places, but nothing major. The bathroom mirror still had water spots. Desk was dusty and chair had crumbs in it. The shower head was not adjustable and shoots straight out instead of downward. You may not get told at check in what the amenity fee includes. If you ask, they will give you a paper, so you will know what you are entitled to. There is a Starbucks and restaurant inside the hotel. Hotel serves breakfast for free if you are a high level Hyatt member or you can pay for it. The gift shop offers a variety of items, not just souvenirs. Self parking garage is also connected to hotel. It costs $45/day with no in and out privileges. Valet is $62/day, but does include unlimited in and out. The garage elevator goes straight up to hotel lobby. The Metro station is in basement area of hotel and easily accessible to get to and from hotel. Staff was super friendly.

Nene W.: I spent Christmas night at Grand Hyatt Washington this year. It was my second time with them and I had a wonderful time! The staffs were really nice and helpful. If you like to drink and chill, don’t forget to check out their bar. The room was clean and comfortable. Plus, they also have the best breakfast which is available from 7-10am. I will definitely go back to this hotel more often. It was a great experience!

RITA LIN: We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so polite, nice, respectful, friendly and accommodating. The only concern we had was, wishing the vent in the bathroom would have been stronger. The mirrors would fog up easily during a hot shower even with the door open. Over all though , a very relaxing stay, we will return once we are back in town. Thank you!

Kim Nguyen: The Grand Hyatt is located near Chinatown and it’s extremely convenient for us to get around. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay. The online check-in process was easy and quick. I was able to request for early check-in and got our room by 12pm instead of 3pm. That was definitely a plus in my book. The hotel lobby was really massive and beautifully designed. During our stay, there was a medical conference. It was busier than usual and we had to wait some time for the elevator. Our room is across from the Sax restaurant and lounge, so it was really loud at night. There were a lot of honking, screaming, and car noise. Overall, it was a good stay for us. Oh, they also have a Starbucks right inside the hotel.

Budget Car Rental: what do users think?

CB: NEARLY GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT, GIVEN THE WRONG CAR! Budget assured my girlfriend and I that we could secure a 4WD car if we called several days in advance. Our trip required a 4WD car rental, as there was off-road driving involved. We were given a Front wheel drive (FWD) car and assured it was 4WD. We got to the off-roading part of the drive and found the car could not make it up the hill- we ended up rolling back into a rut on the side of the road. Upon checking the car manual to see if it could help us, I found that the manual we were given did Not match the car we were driving! The car did not have any 4WD setting and we later found out that it was indeed only FWD. A local helped us out of the situation and we then needed to drive two hours out of our way to trade for an actual 4WD car. We lost 4-6 hours with this whole ordeal, plus about $60 of gas. I attached a picture of the console and what it was listed as in the manual. Had we indeed needed emergency features, we would have not had proper instructions available. This is a walking lawsuit and management simply blames the customer for the company’s mistakes, rather than actually rectify the issue. We have tried contacting customer service for this location. Though they lied about the car model and we were very nearly injured, we were only offered $50 off the $180 rental based on a fraudulent reservation. I will be following up with the National Transportation Safety Board, but what terrible customer service and management. Unresponsive managers when we tried to resolve the issue, I waited several hours for them to call me back and was then yelled at by a representative for asking what the delay was about. Just go elsewhere- maybe Zipcar or Enterprise. Apparently Budget values customers’ lives and safety at $50.00.

ANYA RANDALL NEBEL: Horrible experience. Don’t bother early check in because they won’t have your car. If you paid in advance just know that they still won’t have anything that you asked for ready. Also, if they tell you they will Give you an upgrade for the same price for your trouble you won’t get that either. Not even any sympathy especially if you have somewhere else to be Also if you have someone drop you off make sure they stay cause you could be stuck

davidthebowler: Love budget. I got a great price. Car was a Ford Explorer and it a great job driving to PA and Ohio.

Maria Munoz: These people are liars and nearly cost me my life since they lied about my rental car. DO NOT RENT HERE. Poor customer service and no refund provided!!!

Benjamin Perkins: Unbelievably long wait for a rental we had already booked and paid for. No excuse for the time it took to check out

Jonathan Aris: The pick up and drop off process was very smooth and straightforward. Yonas was very courteous and helpful. Thank you!

Bronte McMillan: Racist staff. Please don’t rent from Budget rental cars on Connecticut Avenue.

Miriam Ginsberg: The car I rented was having issues, felt unsafe to drive and I had to trade it in for another one, partway through my trip. The process of trading it in was horrible, Budget and Avis staff were completely unhelpful and I had to spend 6 hours and drive over 100 miles to finally exchange it for a car that worked. All the while, the car felt very unsafe to drive.

Mary rechtien: They were very nice up graded my car.

Alley Cat Allies: what do users think?

Bruce Chamberlin: How do people not realize that putting colonies of Ferrell cats in our state parks is an act of animal cruelty destroying the natural wildlife. Neutered cats must eat and drink, destroying the indigenous animals and adding new diseases into ecosystem. The natural fauna will disappear leaving a wasteland filled with diseased cats living short, miserable and cruel lives. I’m sure these people are all heart, and that’s just it, all heart and no brains. In reality they are sentencing these poor creatures to a slow cruel death. Since you don’t witness the reality, you actually sit back and feel good about yourself. Trap, neuter and release are acts of the worst kind of animal cruelty. We must stop this misguided effort that is rapidly destroying the very important and unique ecosystems of our Brandywine valley. All you have left is to listen to the screaming cats at night to the point you can’t sleep with you windows open. Can we come up with a way to eliminate these destructive colonies and restore the balance created over thousands of years? Yes! Trap, and take to SPCA. Sad, unfortunate, but humane and one positive step in maintaining our beautiful parks filled with the animals nature spent thousands of years to create. Once a cat has become Ferrell it will never be suitable as a house pet again.

You Evil: Horrendous, evil organization and one of the main reasons the country is being infested with feral and free-roaming cats. They also partner with special interests pet supply, pet food companies. Alley cats “allies” does not care about wildlife and biodiversity. They call “community” cats to cats that are otherwise released and drop off into our parks and city streets, when in reality the “community” should NEVER be responsible for someone else’s unwanted cats. This organization has the potential to send many wildlife species into extinction thanks to their incredibly persistent actions to “save” cats (unwanted house cats) and to destroy everything else. (birds, reptiles, butterflies, mammals) Alley Cats Allies you are a bunch of charlatans and EXTREMELY EVIL PEOPLE.

Hilary Tibbens: Philanthropy.com reported that a nonprofit organization doing business as Alley Cat Allies, which promotes the abandonment of domestic cats, had been involved in “a number of questionable” financial practices. The piece said that this organization “offers a case study in what can happen when there’s a lack of government or institutional oversight.” The group’s founder and president, Becky Robinson, was reportedly “paid $265,309 in total compensation for the fiscal year that ended on July 31, 2017, while [Donna] Wilcox, the board chair and vice president, was paid $230,556 in salary and benefits. Together, their compensation amounts to more than 5 percent of the group’s revenue. The board sets the CEO’s pay, yet the board chair works for the CEO.” In 2015, after a neighbor complained about an outdoor horde of cats at Robinson’s home, “Alley Cat Allies bought the neighbor’s home for $590,000. Last summer, the charity bought a second home in Arlington for $569,000. Neither transaction was disclosed to the full board of the nonprofit.” In addition, the “board rarely meets—it has yet to convene in 2018.” This investigation was done by PETA. If you are a donor of this organization I would be cautious that your money isn’t going to the animals.

Jo Clayton: This is a wonderful group dedicated to protect our less than fortunate feral furry friends. When I joined Ally Cat Allies I learned how to effectively trap, neuter , return and how to provide shelters during inclement weather. They are my go to people when I have a question. I not only help the cats I am also doing a service for the community by cutting down on the amount of feral cats in our community. I started T/N/R 4 years ago. At the time there were kittens having kittens in a colony behind my house. After 3 years of continuous trapping I reached my goal of no more kittens in the colony. After trapping 30+ feral’s I haven’t seen a kitten in over a year.

Miki Haas: In the past I had contacted the organization for information and assistance in neutering a feral cat colony. I sought help in either referring me to a low cost neutering clinic or assisting with the cost of trapping and neutering. Several attempts to elicit a response were ignored; however, for years afterwards they send out fundraising in an attempt to solicit donations for their organization. I will donate to a low cost neutering clinic, but never to an organization that did not have the decency to respond let alone offer advice or assistance.

Gabriel Gilchrist: I worked at Alley Cat Allies as a development associate. If you are looking to join a cause that makes an impact you are in the right place. But with this comes two sides to this coin. If you are a person of color management (Charlene Perdrolie) and Becky Robinson are not a good fit and as you can see from the racial demographic in the office you will see. I was hired as one of three minorities in staff, the next week another was fired and then finally I was one of two monorities in staff. I was fired due to being late for taking care of my daughter. I was disrespected and degraded on multiple occasions furthermore affecting my productivity and finally I was terminated. Charlene Pedrolie is racially insensitive along with her partner in crime Becky Robinson. I have overhead conversation they have had about employees of color and minorities in general itis very distasteful and unsettling to know that people give to such an organization that is ran by two women who still believe in the Jim Crow racial inequality system that disables people of color to advance their careers. But it isn’t just the people of color I have seen and heard both Becky Robinson and Charlene Pedrolie degrade and disrespect countless employees to the brink of tears as they use people’s job security to monopolize how employees behave in the facility. They have instilled Cathy Brown as their resident spy in the office to tamper and sabotage employees they want terminated.

Bianca S: Had a great experience adopting our little cappy once known as captain catfish from them. They were very friendly and profession on their emails to me and even more so in person. The only negative is they told me cappy was less then a year old but my vet said there was no way. She said it was clear to see he is at least one year old from looking at his teeth. So I am a bit annoyed they lied about that but otherwise I love my cappy and the rest of my experience was wonderful.

Extended Stay America - Washington, D.C. - Alexandria - Landmark: what do users think?

Cowboy Boswell: Coming upon 3 years staying I can honestly say that all the staff have been very professional, courteous, polite, knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to help. During the renovation that made the stay very nice. I have had several employees that work for me stay and the had a very pleasant stay. I recommend this location to folks on my project if it is just for a short time. Packing is spacious, well lite, and they keep the parking area clean. The staff do a hell of a job and really care that those of us that are staying here are well taken care of.

Vera Adutwumwaah: This is my second time staying at this ESA location for work. I was here last year around April to May and then I came back again in October 2021 and stayed for more than 100 days till February. All I can say is I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are very clean and nice and the staff plus manager is amazing. They are all very professional and respectful. Always there whenever u need help. Also this location is close to popular shops and restaurants so you wont have issues with shopping or finding good food to eat. Thank you guys for always taking good care of me. Will be back again soon.

Do Not Sell: This hotel is amazing. There is plenty of spacing and pretty quiet at night. Most of the people seems to be here working and come and go. No issues there. The staff is phenomenal. They work with you and assist you with all your needs. It is a clean room. Able to cook inside and have a quiet space for a while. My only request would be to assist with getting more towels but the hotel is pretty proactive with getting you what you need. It’s a 5/5 honestly.

Barbara Langford: The room was clean with good wifi, staff was always pleasant BUT.. it is advertised as.. well an extended stay hotel with an efficiency kitchen stocked with essentials. While yes, there was a refrigerator and a microwave and a two burner stovetop, There were NO essentials. No plates, no pots or pans, no silverware, no toaster, no nothing. When I asked at the desk, they said that they were "out" I rented this place specifically for the advertised "stocked" kitchen as I had my 91 year old uncle with me and needed to be able to cook his meals while he was waiting for his apartment to be renovated. It made the experience very inconvenient and caused us to spend even more money because we had to order out.

Kyah Purnell: Thank you Senait & Extended Stay! Her greeting was so warm and she displayed great customer service. As a frequent visitor each visit has been nothing short of amazing. The rooms are very spacious and the pillows are lovely!! Very convenient and close to many shops for all your needs.

Ian Thompson: I have never written a review like this, but my experience at this particular Extended Stay America was so bad I wanted to warn others. my biggest issue was after checking out. I checked out three days early, and before doing this, I called the front desk to check and see if I could get a refund for those last three days. they informed me that I would be charged weekly, so I could get a refund for the second week if I checked out by Saturday. Saturday comes, I check out and inform the person at the front desk that I was checking out early. he checks me out. then I ask about getting the refund, and he says that I would have to call to get my refund. I booked this hotel through a third-party website (Priceline) which was a mistake. I contacted Priceline to get my refund, and they attempted to call the hotel. the hotel says that I did not check out early, and the room was booked for my entire trip. I asked Priceline if they could talk to the manager, seeing as I discussed with the front desk that I would be checking out 3 days early. and they assured me I would be able to get a refund for the last three days of my trip, as long as I called them later. Priceline said they spoke with Katie at the front desk, as well as the manager. Priceline is not the bad guy here, since they did their best to try and get me my refund, and it seems there was a miscommunication between the hotel staff. so I don’t think I’m ever getting that $248 back. my second issue was the kitchen utensils. after settling in at the hotel, my friend and I discovered that there is not a single dish nor utensil in the kitchen. I assume this is due to some Covid sanitization policy, but if we were informed of this new policy change, I must’ve missed it. we were exhausted, and so we decided to just sleep, and get plastic utensils and paper plates at the dollar store the next day. not even a single pair of individually wrapped plastic utensils in the hotel. it would’ve been nice to know that when we were checking in. my last issue is with the Wi-Fi. the Wi-Fi is good enough to send texts, check emails, and watch YouTube videos, but if you are joining a zoom call, you’re out of luck. I tried joining my online class via zoom and the application crashed three times due to an unstable network connection. you can pay more money for higher quality Wi-Fi, but just be aware that the free Wi-Fi is no good for zoom calls. i’m giving this hotel two stars because at least the room was clean and the heat/AC worked properly.

Shady Spring Pet Retreat: what do users think?

E. Xplosion: My dog Patty was boarded here for one week while I drove across the country. In spite of being a little timid and having a weak appetite, she is very much in good health and spirits. They even delivered to my home in DC for a reasonable price. I plan to use this establishment again in the future.

lisa kahl: Love this place. Have had 4 dogs boarded & groomed here over the last 25 years. Staff are a pleasure to work with.

K Casazza: So we stopped here after Aspen Leaf (Giant Schnauzers) to get info on boarding our 3 small dogs. Rainy day; Office seemed closed few minutes before 6pm regular hours and front business parking was now empty. Got no info. We let our dogs out where there was a dog station (bags/trash bin provided) and it took us a bit to dry them off and get the wet grass clippings out of their fur. Some huffy lady pulled up next to our vehicle acting indignant as to why we were there. Even after telling her our intentions, she was rude and repeatedly said it was private property. We told her we were ready to leave. She was not the owner (I inquired.) Needless to say, between her tart personality and the stressed barking we heard from the metal/cement kennels out back, we’d never entrust our dogs to shady care at Shady Spring “Pet Resort." That’s the picture of the unprofessional staff lady who was rude to us, sitting in her mini van.

Kathy Myers: Friendly and clean. Felt safe leaving our cat with them.

April Milan: My husband and I boarded our 4 guinea pigs here for a little over a week. The staff took such good care of them, and truly went above and beyond what we could have expected. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a small animal boarding.

W von Rautenkranz: We have been customers of Shady Spring many times before. They have always treated our dogs very well. Thus, I wish I could leave 2 reviews. First, the trainers are awesome and our dog was treated great. However, make sure you get all the costs in writing up front, otherwise you will have a nasty surprise. Their fees are far from reality. Also, be cautious with the manager - Not a nice person - Very Combative. Again, just verify in advance in writing and you will have a good experience.

Jennifer Bottamiller: We have brought our 1 year old coonhound here a few times and he just absolutely loves it. He bounces right in, the staff is kind and attentive, and at our request have worked with him doing a continuation of the training we did at home. Their new trainer is excellent, and has worked with the staff to implement a positive-reinforcement training system. Sammy comes home happy and exhausted each time. It is expensive, but the staff has been extremely accommodating in my experience.

Kathy Connelly: 60 years experience! Everyone is extremely nice and delightful! They have so many things to offer please call and inquire!

VCA Healthy PAWS Medical Center: what do users think?

Lisa Day: I’ve been taking my dogs and cats here for 10 years. However, in the past two years trying to schedule a timely appointment is super difficult. My pet is limping and favoring his paw but the earliest I could get an appointment is more than a week away. And the potential cost of X-ray is $400 because it’s not included in the Care Club that I’ve had for years. Ridiculous. So now I’m looking for a new vet.

Heather Bishop: I want to thank VCA for their customer service today. My husband and I had to make the hardest decision today and VCA was so very helpful in the transition of the euthanizing process for our dog Ruby. Dr. Burdick and the vet assistant (I apologize I don’t remember the vet tech’s name), Thank you!! You not only made the hardest decision for us to make a good experience you both not only made my dog Ruby comfortable but you had made my husband and I comfortable during that process.

Christine Straight: I just put down my cat named Lucy at VCA. My Lucylu has been with me for 17 years...through my divorce and move to NOVA. SHE was a trooper..my one constant through all my turmoil with everything. Never complained like me. God brought me to Dr Lucy. Must be the name! Dr Lucy was so compassionate at a horrible time. Thank you and your staff!

Teri Weil: They always show my fur baby the best time. My dog loves going there.

Courtney Ferenz: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, ValueI wish you had more than 5 stars. My experience at this clinic has always been positive. The staff has been professional, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. They have really gone above and beyond for me with our two dogs and I will be forever grateful. Thank you for all that you do.

Holiday Inn Express Washington DC East-Andrews Afb, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Pearl White: The staff is one of the best. Everyone of them was fast and friendly. Lobby was beautiful. The rooms cozy. The beds perfect. The comforters so soft and thick. Breakfast had a good variety and delicious for hotel foods. But for Holiday Inn Express quality, the rooms were lacking, still great, but not the IHG standard.

Luis Callejas: I recommend not going to this place. We had a very bad experience .I was there yesterday and the neighbors were blasting music. We called front desk to report it and they took 1 hour to put the music down. We had to get out of there because of screaming. When we were going to check out they didn’t let us until the next day. In the morning when we were trying to contact the manager to explain what happened, he was very rude and didn’t care. I don’t recommend this place especially if you have kids. The rooms were damaged, missing carpet, and damaged furniture. I am not putting 0 stars because it won’t let me.The managers name is Afron

Ken Hasty: Great staff and a decent complimentary hot breakfast. The rooms are dated and could use some TLC.

Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Vienna/Tysons Corner: what do users think?

Rachael Janson: Pro tip. Take the top floor because you will be woken up by pounding. Also go ahead and ask for towels before you go to your room. You may only have two sets. Might want to bring a blanket. They are extremely thin. Pretty clean. Nice kitchen. Rewash the stuff before you use ( I always do) I found food particles on the forks.

Angel Alamo: There is a $150 deposit make sure you have the $150 on your debit or credit card. Suites are nice clean and comfortable. There was no complimentary breakfast cook had quit that really sucked. The rooms are nice and a lot of space. The best place to stay if you are going to spend a few nights they have a small kitchen great living room space. This is the best room for a two or three night stay. I wish I had stayed a few nights it is nice they have places like this to stay.

Mikayla G: I wouldn’t stay here again. We were supposed to be able to check in at 3 pm they told us the rooms hadn’t been cleaned and had to wait and they would call. They didn’t call after 3 hours so we came back then they told us it was ready. We were told there would be no room cleaning and no breakfast. We weren’t told beforehand. When we got to the room, it looked like it still hadn’t been cleaned. Dirt and splatters on the wall, no soap or paper towels in the kitchen, hair that wasn’t ours in the bathroom, torn up furniture, key cards that didn’t work well, hot water that turns ice cold after a 10 minute shower. And the icing on the cake, dirty sheets and top covers. BUT when I took off the pillow case to change it (after it took forever to get new pillowcases) and I found DRIED BLOOD on the PILLOW!

Christina Lee: This is NOT a hotel. It’s more of a bare bones Airbnb. My friend and I checked in last night. Room seemed OK. At least the central heating was working properly. I noticed there weren’t extra towels in the bathrooms, no shampoo, bath gels or any other BASIC amenities one would expect - even at the cheapest Holiday Inn. Mattress needs replacing. Furniture is SUPER OLD. Corners banged up, some of the stain was fading away - all very ghetto. Left the room this morning, came back later in the evening and was expecting my bed to be made, bathroom cleaned, trash emptied, etc. Again, BASIC HOTEL SERVICES, right? Nope. Nothing. Bed wasn’t made and my take out trash was still here. This place is such a dump. I knew something was up when I didn’t see a phone in the room. What if we need to call the front desk for anything? More towels? Good luck! Don’t stay here. Honestly, go somewhere else.

Staybridge Suites Tysons - McLean, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Scott Baker: Amazing hotel. Incredible staff. Angel, Jonathan and the whole team took care of everything during my multi-week stay here. They were the friendliest, most positive, helpful group. The hotel itself is the cleanest and quietest hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the U.S. The staff seems to place a particular emphasis on customer service, cleanliness, and ensuring a quiet space. I would stay here again anytime. If I could give the hotel team six stars I would!

Jane Pavlova: An exceptional hotel, everything was great!Great value for money, not luxury but clean, convenient for longer stays and has everything to live and work in suits. McLean is a very quiet city and the hotel is located on a quite street, not that much noise at night. Everything can be reached on foot and a few good restaurants around. They have plenty of free parking spaces and even a garage. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful! I will come back for sure.

Cindy Rinaldi: Property was excellent. Jonathan and Angel are knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations. Everyone was so friendly when we were coming and going. The hotel was quiet, very clean and we loved our 2 bedroom suite on the 5th floor. We stayed 6 nights. We took full advantage of the kitchen and went downstairs for breakfast. The beds were soft and so were the linens. Only a 15 minute drive to DC. There is a Safeway 5 minutes away and many good restaurants close by. We were very happy with our stay. No complaints at all. We felt very safe staying here and highly recommend.

Mike M: Just a stones throw from Great Falls. The hotel was very clean and extremely accommodating of pets. Breakfast in the morning was well stocked and fresh. Bed felt like it was a bit older and needs replacing but that was the only negative.

Candlewood Suites Washington-Dulles Herndon, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Michael Fox: About what you would expect for an extended stay hotel, decent, clean, maybe a little worn around the edges. Spent five weeks there on a travel nurse assignment. Adequate.

Sabrina Brandenburg: The staff was un knowledgeable I was charged $60 for something I didn’t receive and still haven’t seen a refund. The room was dirty. The room also had carpet beetles. The hotel smell like trash and pets The fire alarm was broken and went off multiple times. The photos on line are deceiving the hotel looks nothing like them. The only good thing I can say about the place was the bed was comfortable.

Avani Jokhla: Good staff and good service however rooms had mold and weird smell. I saw few cracks in ceiling too. Overall not good experience. This one needs repairs.

Charles Flinn Ill: Staff was superb and hotel was well worth the stay. Vicky, a mgr with the prop was especially accommodating with a few of my needs. Highly recommend this prop when flying or traveling into Dulles area.

Colton P: This place is filthy and gross, I recommend staying elsewhere when coming to the area. The rooms smell terrible and just have a dirty look and feel to them. Does this look updated and a 180 dollar room to you? Will NEVER stay here again.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC - Silver Spring: what do users think?

Trent Brink: I realize that there are staff shortages so I won’t be too harsh with my review. The front desk staff were friendly and quick to help. My main complaint is that the room was in need of renovation and updating. Other then that the cookies were delicious and the valet was easy to use when it wasn’t too busy and we didn’t have issues with other people staying at the hotel. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient, close to the interstate, a metro station, the mall, and lots of restaurants. Which is why I picked this hotel.

Rebecca Everett Brady: While the staff was very kind and hospitable, the facilities were very old and dingy. The A/C units seemed like they were hanging on by a thread...set at 60F to achieve a temp of 75F. I did not feel comfortable touching things or putting my stuff down. I was thankful I only stayed one night, and would most definitely not stay again or recommend based on the building, unless they did a huge rehab.

Matthew Matack: The A/C is absolutely terrible in the rooms. They will send up maintenance and poke around but you know that there is no way get the A/C to blow cold air when the unit is not in your room. I expect that if it’s almost 100 degrees you would want your guests to stay comfortable. It would be great if the management could get this issue resolved, no one likes sweating though the night! The staff is friendly and the valet is fantastic. Read the other responses and notice the A/C is an issue, I wouldn’t recommend during the summer months.

Leila Camejo: Horrendous! Ghetto… no service if staying over one night. Didn’t get clean towels the following day on a 2 night stay. No coffee pod fill and no toiletry fill. No garbage removal neither. Bed was not made (understandable in these times) but no clean towels?!?! I had to call and get everything myself. Housekeeping didn’t speak english and front desk staff had ghetto attitudes! Area where hotel is located is despicable. Noisy hotel. You hear everything through the walls and outside the door. Poor selection of snacks in store. Rooms extremely small. Would NOT recommend anything about it. Paid too much ($200/night) for a tiny room and no service! Ugghhh!

Ziv Edri: I have only bad experience from this hotel. 83 degrees out side 95 in my room and the air conditioner is not working. Let the lobby know (didn’t even look at me when they were talking) and basically said Nothing we can do. Just wait. Didn’t offend to change the rood didn’t offer any compensation for the bad experience. They just didn’t care! Didn’t even want to refund after I said I would like to move to different hotel. They are the worst. Not planning to go near them in the future.

Adi Misigoy: If I could give ZERO stars I would. We arrived late last night because of flight delays - our room was HOT. We told the front desk they sent someone who turned it off and back on. We all took cold showers and tried to sleep. Everyone - including the baby - woke up SWEATING and none of us even used the sheets. We complained first thing in the morning. We were told it was this side of the building and would affect all of the suites. They were supposed to have someone fix it but if they couldn’t they’d move us to side of hotel that AC is working in but we’d have to be in two rooms - fine. Go out to spend the day out and about. Return at 6:30 PM and it’s HOTTER than the night before/the morning. Tell front desk. They say they are going to send the engineer and tell us not to take hot showers as that will make the problem worse. What?! Go out to dinner, return almost at 11pm - it’s HOTTER in the room. It’s 81 degrees outside and it feels COOLER than this room. Hallways are cooler - so clearly the AC is working somewhere. Now they are claiming the whole hotel is like this and that our room is at 60 degrees. We run our AC at 70/71 degrees at home and it’s COLD there’s no way this is even 80 degrees in here. We have grandma with us and a baby - this is ABUSIVE! I booked this directly through Hilton and I’m a Gold HHonor member. This is BEYOND unacceptable. And this isn’t even going into the mold in the shower, ripped up carpet between the bedroom and living room, dingy state of everything. DON’T STAY here even if it’s free! At this point they should refund us and get us a room at another Hilton Hotel in the area and transport us. Front desk claimed they’d refund us - and bring fans to the room - when my husband goes back minutes later to say sure refund it (in case we can find somewhere else to move ourselves) - and she back peddles and says she can only refund one night on points (even though I booked directly with Hilton) and we are having to live through this hellish heat for our THREE NIGHT STAY!

amber then: We traveled to the area for a family members funeral and had made a group reservation for 12 people. Every single one of our rooms were disgustingly musty and hot. We called front desk to tell them our rooms were incredibly hot even though the thermostat read 60 degrees. They sent a tech that was in the room for no more than 1 minute, he said it was fixed but he didn’t do anything at all. We all slept without any covers and were still drenched in sweat. We asked to change rooms in the morning and they sent us to another room that was exactly the same. The rooms are significantly hotter and more humid than even outside. The AC only blows the fan, not cold air. Horrible experience.

Erin Rota: We had an excellent stay especially considering the raging Omicron infection rate and the fact that the employees were working the Christmas holidays. The hotel was quiet, the linens and towels were fresh and white, the room was clean, the valet parking service was excellent. Coffee was provided in the lobby. The hotel provided a relaxing place for us during our family visit.
