Dinora Bonilla: This bank is the worst. We have an account for 5 years and when we deposited a check with a large sum, they quickly attended to the employees until their eyes sparkled after they did not accept it, I do not know why, and from there they made us an amount that we owed 3,000 dollars thing that we had not withdrawn money or anything and when we went to this lousy bank nobody could say why this appeared in our account without having done it we are disgusting and when we call we cannot tell us why they did not know they are supposed to be Seriously, they are thieves and they made the decision that they closed the lousy branch and company account.

Kim Jackson: This branch never answers the phone then once you get there it’s always an hour wait at least and the employees are very rude to customers that look a certain way especially.

Nay Nay: They should have more than one person working especially in the morning times. Then you watch the others sit around at their desk and do nothing. I thought that's what cross training is for. The line be ridiculous. If you have all day go right on in there good luck with that.

Mynor martin: Really bad experience im waiting for over 30 minutes to do a deposit long line to get with the teller only one lady working and it is alot ppl waiting it is very frustrating wait for over 30 minutes to do a transaction in this branch they should hired more ppl or help little faster

Ange Kibuuka: Why can’t something be done regarding this financial center? BOA should do better with these reviews. This center’s branch manager gave me false information regarding a check. When I called the online services, they told me otherwise. So now I’m trying to call the branch and Lord knows they probably have the phones on mute. It’s ridiculous! Going there is not even an option because I don’t have time standing in line for 4 hrs.

Robert Andrews: I have only been to this branch once when I did not walk out before completing my transaction ( unless I just need to go in and use the ATM). Every time I go there is a long line for the teller. It’s often quicker to walk to the branch in Mount Pleasant! What is with this place? They never have enough tellers.

Cory Ryncarz: Waited for almost ten minutes this morning (6/12) with one teller open and three others behind the window talking. Then I was told they could not print my bank statement and I had to wait an hour for the appointment staff...to print my bank statement. So I walked 5 minutes to the Mt. Pleasant location and they printed it and had me out in less than 5 minutes. Nobody made any effort to help me, they all just buckpassed to someone else.

Sam OB: I have been coming to this bank for many years almost 10 years now. They were doing good bad the worst thing is waiting I like for about 30 plus minutes. Because they only have one teller most of the time.

Ms. Boss Lady: The worst bank I have ever been to. It doesnt matter what time or day it is, they will have two cashiers working and a line reaching close to the door. They always say they are in the process of hiring new people but all I see is two old faces gone and two new ones and the lines seem longer

Amy Schaldenbrand: I have been going to this bank for the past 13 years. I walked in to get cash and to order foreign currency. They first told me there was no teller today so I could not get any cash (Isn't that the primary purpose of a bank?). Then I asked how to order currency and their advice was "go on your app or on the bank of america website." I told them I was having trouble and rather than walking me through the pages, they told me I should just search for it myself. If they aren't going to provide service or cash, they may as well close this branch down.

Mohammed Basaar: Thank you Bank of America ,and special thanks to the branch employee Ms. Katie Mywar for her kind attitude. When I visited the B ofA last Monday. However,I just want to complain and disputes a mistake that happened with mis-spelling my first name when I opened the account on July last year in North Virginia branch,Alexandria, the banker typed “Mohammad” instead of “Mohammed “.even thought he already took my passport picture and filed it into system. After I opened my Account,I moved to States College in PA ,16803 zip code areas ,where’s no Bof A branch operates there (unfortunately for such a good reputation bank) so then I tried to contact with the person or the banker and he apologized and said you have to come physically to the branch to change the name. At that time,Iwas at 16803 zip code area for study and research so I couldn’t move from Pennsylvania (PA) therefore,I requested via online virtual chats but no results. So after I finishes the spring semester which was last week,I just traveled to DC. For my own business and visit the D.C branch to amend or change the name which consider a big deal for me. The reason I said that is because of this mistake,I was not able to use the banking statement for official use due the the major difference and doesn’t match the name of the passport. To specify,I applied to EU visa during the fall and the embassy refused the banking statement and they said it didn’t match your others form of ID and perhaps this belongs to other one. and DMV refused it for the purpose of verifying the residence due the the difference in spelling I am telling the story to show how badly this effected me and in this case,the banker should have come to me ,no asking me to come to him after he knew I am in other state. Qiran Wang: We are Chinese students and it is the first time to apply for a bank card in DC. The staff took the initiative to contact the translator to help us solve various problems. The staff was enthusiastic and patient. They taught us how to operate the bank card step by step. It took three hours, but his service attitude was very good, and finally he helped us successfully deposit money. Thanks.

Leo Slater: Lots of staff, few customers. Had to argue with staff about whether they would issue me cashiers checks. I have an account. Actively misunderstanding me. Telling me i should go elsewhere even though this is a free service to me here. Clerk seemed to have difficulty reading. Previously, this has been a great branch, but today I see and feel why others don't want to do business here.

K E Hunter: As a general contractor, I have clients from all economic levels and status. One client wrote me a check for services above 3k, it took 40minutes to cash the check and as a result my time, which is equal to $225.00 an hour was wasted. Lina Shaker: Incredibly slow service. My online banking isnt working and it should only take a maxium of 20 minutes to fix however i ended up waiting an hour then getting up and leaving because the service is incredibly slow and lazy. The people I entcountered working with seem nice but the service was terrible. Usually boa service is something I pride myself on but not recently. Just terrible.

Madina Narzieva: I would give a ZERO STAR to this bank. You just lost a customer of many years. I will be closing my accounts. I stopped by today to notarize a document. I was sent here by location on Wisconsin...Lady at the front told me they cant do it because I came 30 minutes before closing time. Mary C.: We came in to deposit a check. Twenty minutes and four service representatives later, we found out we couldn't deposit it immediately and had to wait for several days. We spent most of that twenty minutes waiting for all the various representatives to run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Also, there's no hand sanitizer anywhere and the bank is very overcrowded given the current pandemic and social distancing procedures. If I could give a negative review I would.

Seth Ligo: Petty lies. And I don’t use that word lightly. Went to get a cashiers check. Told it’s usually $15 (already a rip off for people who have an account with the bank) but as we are “preferred customers” it’ll be free. Manager comes and tries to herd us into a timeshare style info session. We say no. There is no mention of a charge since we didn’t do the info session. Manager even says he won’t charge us. But the teller charges the $15 fee to the account without telling us. We just see it later in the account. I can’t believe this legal, and it’s definitely not ethical. Seems like a poor return: lost a 20 year “preferred customer” over dishonesty that could net them a whole $15. Where’d these folks learn finance?

Jacquelyn B: I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit to this BOA location. The teller took money out of an account that didn’t have sufficient funds (putting my account in a negative balance) when I specifically asked him to take it from a different account that clearly had more than enough funds. At no point did he or the other staff member that he called for the approval ask me if this was correct. All they offered me was a “sorry”. The staff clearly lacked common sense and attention to detail. I will not be returning to this location for my banking needs.

Steven Schartup: A few months ago I needed non-routine bank services. USAA wouldn't do the work. Another BOA branch would not do it either. I tried again here. Instead of just saying "no," the folks here took a few minutes to make calls, and after doing the proper diligence, took care of business. If you need to do something out of the routine give this branch a shot. They were willing to put in the work to provide great customer service.

ka wo: BEDBUGS!!!!! Friday afternoon: come in to open an account based on promotion received via mail offering $300 bonus. Three reps available but of course only the one on the phone can help. She wraps her call. I explain I’m here for the promotion and she doesn’t know what I’m referring to. I googled it but, She says I need my mailing in order to receive the promo. I go home get mailing and return and asked for a managers assistance because I didn’t feel as if the woman wanted to help me. She tells me to wait 10 minutes. Which turns into 30. Meanwhile while I’m sitting my back starts itching in one place, I shifted and within minutes my whole back was burning. I ask to use the bathroom so I can check myself but of course no one can help me with that either -you have to be escorted to the bathroom. So I use my phone to look at my back and I realize that I have whelps all over my back consistent with bedbug bites. By this point I whip out my phone n start drafting this review (STANDING) because well I really want to get this account opened I’m afraid to sit any longer and I’m apalled by the amount of time it took and that I got bit. They came up with a few more excuses as to why I couldn’t open the account but by then I was over it and left. Don’t sit down here. They for sure have bed bugs. BOA will be hearing from my lawyer about this.

A As: If I could give this branch no stars i would, Horrible customer service. The branch manager was outside on the phone when the teller needed her assistance. I was told to wait until she was finished. After she finished with her personal phone call she refused to cash a check that belonged to a BOA customer. I offered her several different alternatives to resolve whatever issue she had. She was completely unwilling to help me. I even had the customer call the branch to verify the check. She was very short patient and I’ll be calling corporate and leaving reviews on every social media platform. Whatever assumptions she made about me is completely unprofessional and this type of behavior has to stop!!

A S Woolridge: It is the worst!!! Was in there, today(10/07/19), trying to cash a check. There were five people ahead of me & only one teller. There were three agents walking around, doing nothing, but would not come to help the young lady. I had to leave, it was taking way too long!!! I hate Bank of America!!!!! I would not frequent this bank, at all, if it were not for my job using this one.

Janna Hagey: Teller did not know how to process a cashiers check. I spent 40 minutes watching him be trained in front of me. No one around him even took over to actually help. My time was wasted and was used to ultimately train this guy - which he still did not know how when I left. I had to leave and go somewhere after that amount of time and still had NO cashiers check. This was the WORST experience I have ever had. Bank of America DO BETTER!

Furnished Housing In Austin: Friendly staff but every time I am there it's one teller and a line of twenty or thirty people. Honestly it's the worst. They clearly don't value your business. There are four or five other bank personnel there, but apparently none of them can or will work as a teller. The line can be an hour or longer. It's been this way for months. Bank of America should be embarrassed.

Onyinyechi A: I have been with BOA since 2004. Although i normally defend them to family and friends alike who say lots of things about them i can not defend this particular branch. It is obviously an original based on the exterior structure so i understand why it doesn't have an ATM on the outside of it. My issue is the people and customer service on the inside. I have yet to go to this bank and see more than 2 tellers behind the counter. no matter how long the lines people are walking around aimlessly and not helping at all. they dont even have a designated person for business accounts so you are standing in line while an entire company is doing their payroll deposits. i will drive to Rhode island location (which also isn't the best) to just get some money out my account.

Michael Samson: This is a Friday afternoon experience. There are 20 people in line for a teller, and there is only one teller here to work. Bank manager said that they can't afford to pay their tellers enough to keep them around....lol. Apparently they make only $1above minimum wage. This is crazy.

Harry: Slowest service ever. Whenever I come to this branch I wait an average of 10-15 minutes to deposit a check with a teller. Plenty of desk people but 1 teller is all I’ll ever see. I’m not a fan of BOA but use them with my work, so I have no choice. Y’all charge plenty of user fees... spend it on another teller.

Harry Jefferson: The branch manager refused to provide any service to myself or other customers waiting in line stating that he was understaffed and had other things to do. I need to simply verify my identification to open the account. Long lines, nobody working here and was told to wait until 4pm when the accounts manager would be back from lunch for assistance. The branch closes at 4! I waited till 3:45 and the account managers 3:30 appointment showed up! Imagine that. This branch is a joke .

David Burge: Terrible branch. Avoid BOA at all costs. This branch consistently is closed on random days, or doesn’t have a teller. Boa consistently understaffs their branches, while trying to gain more clients. Planning on taking my business banking needs elsewhere.

Cindy Lee: Absolutely the worst bank ever! I am not just rating this location, but BofA as a whole. BofA just loves to rob clients. My family member had his BofA account forcefully closed a few years ago while there was still some money left in his bank account. We tried to claim the remaining account balance on two separate visits, but were told completely different things each time. The second time, at this location, we were told that a cashier's check would be sent to our physical address. However, after our visit, instead, we received a letter asking to call one of BofA's corporate numbers listed. We called, and the person only spoke in very vague terms about the check. No check ever came in the mail. I visited this same location to inquire about what happened, and instead, I was told by another banker/teller that BofA never mailed the check because the balance is zero. Three different visits and three completely different explanations! Either they were lying or had no idea what they are doing and talking about. BofA and its employees have the "too big to fail" mentality and treat customers likewise. Also, it is strange that you would need an appointment at BofA to personally speak with a banker aka "specialist." I never had to book appointments at other banks to talk with a representative. From personal observation, most of the customers who bank at BofA seem to be people who are relatively new to America. Another family member and I have collectively banked with PNC Bank, Capital One Bank, and Associated Bank, but we never had issues with any of these banks services, especially when having to speak with representatives over the phone. If you are looking for a bank in this area, I suggest you walk through K Street as there are dozens of different banks.

Lauren Risk: Horrible experience here. The teller I sat with was not helpful and failed to offer any solutions to the problem I’m having with my account. Even after I was saying I’d have to close my account and go to another bank who would help me he said “Perfect I can help you close your account now.” Clearly this site has been taught not to value their customers.

User: I give this branch and their teller and manager a one star. I tried to deposit my brother's check. Both the teller and manager would not do it because they needed the account number. I have never had this issue neither while making deposits for myself or some one else. Very inconvenient and I think it had something to do with the way I was dressed. Customer service at bank of america is terrible. This is one of the reasons why I don't have bank of america anymore and today's incident is all the more reasons I will not go back to them.

Venus P: I just walked into BOA with a question about a mortgage form and the Bank rep actually dialed the mortgage department on the phone and handed it to me then told me that if I needed him give a shout. I told him I had already spoken to someone on the phone and they were unhelpful so I was there in person to get help. He told me he couldn't help me either without even really looking at the form. I did not even want to use BOA for my mortgage but my husband did. I wish I had followed my gut and used WellsFargo.

Steve Satran: When I look at the other Google reviews for this Bank of America location, I feel like my experience there on Saturday morning, December 11, 2022 must have happened in an alternative universe because -- for me -- everything was perfect. The place was moderately busy, the security guard was friendly and the lone gentleman behind glass handled everything quickly and efficiently. The best part of my visit was the young lady -- she may have been a manager -- who assisted me. I was there to discuss some unauthorized charges on my account so wasn't exactly in the best of moods. I had neglected to make an appointment but the young lady did her very best to accommodate my needs, provide me with a private office to use the phone and answer all my questions. All in all a terrific experience and I would not hesitate to use this branch again.

Joseph AOUN: The notary service at this location is a waste of time. The personnel is incompetent and lazy and incapable of processing basic information presented to them. Made an appointment here because of proximity to my house on 8/21 before going out of town with a deadline to notarize some documents for my living trust. With my certification of trust I want there to notarize some papers to transfer ownership from myself to my trust with proof that I am the grantor and the grantee. The notary service declined to do the notarization telling me this was complicated matter and needed legal advice from the legal department of BoA who was closed on weekends. I have done this in the past at a Wells Fargo bank close to my work.

Marcos Baro: This is the WORST BANK OF AMERICA location in the US. 12:40pm on Tuesday 12/21/2020. One teller, waited 15 minutes in line. Wesley second teller could not assist cause he was waiting for his food delivery. Once he got his delivery he jumped in to help. When it was my turned, Wesley refused to brake two one hundred dollar bills for me. I politely request to speak to supervisor. Wesley said his not here today. I need to consider banking somewhere else ASAP. I feel this is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Liz Thomas: I was appalled when I heard their mortgage lender telling a first time homebuyer it's a good idea to only make the minimum payment on their credit card each month in order to "build credit." Every time I come to this location there's a line of at least 5 people with one teller working and several other employees sitting around doing nothing. Huge waste of my time!

Antony Jones: WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!!! The girl at the door had 'tattooed' on stink-face like somebody pee'd in her cereal. I waited 15 minutes for somebody to help me with my business, not one person got off their butt to help me. 3 employees were huddled in one cubicle, one was working.. the other was looking over her shoulder and a guy was just sitting there playing on his smartphone. I would try and call to complain to a manager, but these jokers don't answer their phones. With service as bad as they give, I don't blame them.. why would they wanna hear how terrible they are all day? Pathetic.

Thomas Cash: Be prepared to stand there - and wait. This is why I am changing banks. 6 teller stations and NEVER more than 2 open. Gee - did the architect make the mistake or is it just that Bank Of America is understaffed?

Bob Lind: Tellers are nice but very slow. Reeks of weed right outside the door. Police stopped me from bringing my dog inside but did nothing about the pot smokers 20 feet from them.

Alex B: One teller on a busy Saturday resulted in a 40 minute wait. Rarely are the tellers here focused on customer service and always give attitude when you try to make a larger cash withdrawal.

Michael Reid: I had a great experience at this branch when I went in to find out about accounts. My daughter is attending Howard University and we wanted a local branch to do business with. I was greeted by a nice woman who happened to be the manager. She was able to give us details about the accounts they offered, how to make transfers, and the online services they offer including Zelle. This is the type of branch I want my daughter to go to. The community seems up and coming but it’s nice to have good people at this location to make you feel at home. There was also a teller at the window I believe her name was Mimi. She took care of our deposit; she was very pleasant. Great service

Sharone Green: Tellers have great customer service however line moves slow. Sometimes it only one teller and they add another when line is out the door. Branch manager needs to learn how to communicate with people without disposition coming off so harsh. Hopefully she get some tact developed in her line of duty sooner than later.

Jazz All-Jazz: The teller was friendly and going as fast as she could because she was the only teller available. When the center gets more than three people in line, someone sitting in their cubby should assist. This would be real customer service. I was impressed at how the one and only teller just kept smiling.

Cherisse Pais: Came in to get a time-sensitive cashier’s check and their manager, who apparently is the only person who could authorize the transaction, was out due to an “emergency”. I had to go to another branch. I can’t believe they don’t have any backup personnel. Instead, they make their customers run all around town.

Dee-dee Jordan Cabrera: The new manger is extremely rude to the point that it is disgusting!! I would use horrible words to describe her and her attitude but I’m not cuz it might block my review 🤬she has no manners at all. She doesn’t care to help customers. When called I was hung up on multiple times. She needs to be FIRED!!!! I never experienced anything like this at all if she doesn’t like her job she needs to leave or helped with leaving by being FIRED !!!! Ekata Ayewoh: Waiting in the bank line is the worst. But this branch is actually ridiculous. I have been waiting for almost and hour. When I get here only 2 people a head of me with 1 teller. Now there are 4 people behind me with still 1 teller. The person greeting clearly sees that she is slow and overwhelmed but has not done anything. Dont let the new interior fool you, it is the same inefficient slow branch it has always been. Please do not come to this branch. Go to any other one if you can.

Mr. Smith: Went it to withdraw funds and they wouldn't allow me with my gov issued paper ID. It's really embarrassing and rude. If you have to use a bank don't use this one. I will be contacting the city about it. If your ID is stolen and they issue you a paper version that's not "valid" then why are they issued? I've used it at many other banks without issue. This is unacceptable.

Jessica-Nicole Marshall: Employees are very friendly however, this location is extremely slow. They have a total of 6 tellers and there is always only 1 or 2 available. I was in the line for 30 mins and 2 customers ended up leaving because they no longer wanted to wait. This is an ongoing issue at this location. I like this bank but they are really inconvenient when it comes to time.

Sandy Coburn: Just had a superb experience at BOA on Wisconsin Ave/Friendship Heights. Called this morning to make an appt to do several things. The woman who took the call and manages the front of the bank (apologies I didn't get the name) was very pleasant and helpful and made me an appt for the same day. Karen Spencer, who was the bank officer who helped us, was wonderful - pleasant, efficient, professional, patient with all our questions. She also took the time to provide a lot of useful info to my son who is in his 20s - info that is esp useful to a young person just starting out. Also needed the services of the teller, who was likewise knowledgeable and pleasant. Could not have been a more pleasant experience.

Demetrius Cooper: As a preferred rewards member, this is one of the worst Bank of America experiences. I waited in line for 45 minutes for a money order. There was one teller working the window for at least 30 minutes while there were at least 5 reps working. Absolutely ridiculous..

Miguel Curiel: Been to a lot of banks to open my first account - BofA, and specifically the staff in this place, was without a doubt the most nice, accessible and accommodating. Special kudos to Martin and Colin who kindly have walked me through the whole process.

Christian Peterson: This bank's employee think it is acceptable to stand over customers and threaten them. I had such an experience with a lending specialist named Martin Mctinosh. The manager is aware of this and did nothing to rectify it.

William Cox: Been here a bunch of times (so I know it’s not a fluke) and it takes a million years of waiting to get the most basic thing done, every single time. I kid you not, they have five or six counters and I have never seen more than one person behind them. On top of that, they didn’t even ask for my ID when I was getting a large bank check... major security concern. Of course, they found time to question my signature. You should be requiring ID, not depending on comparing a signature that can be easily faked if an impostor has the debit card (especially since the signature is on the back, LOL)

Bertin Osorio: They do not have good staff the first time I went there were like 3 cashiers and only 1 was attending there was a long waiting line that people started to leave it was the first time it looked bad ..

Jimmy Johnson: This is such an unprofessional group of people at Bank of America. I cannot believe that they're in business here and that the corporate office hasn't reached out to them about their lack of customer service and inability to help customers. Went in there and found rude staff and an hour wait with only 3 people in the entire Bank of America branch. I would not recommend this branch to anyone. Be careful. Don't go here.

Adrien Ansart: I hate to give bad reviews and I believe it is actually my first one. I hesitated to write it but I hope it can to be useful for customers who can still avoid wasting their afternoon with untrained and unsupervized staff at this place. We spent painfully and unnecessarily long hours with someone who clearly did not seem to know what they were doing. It's okay if some staff need to be trained, but then they need to be supervized and not left alone with customers. Of course, this lack of professionalism raises concerns especially when it comes to banking.

Kristen Kreider: Bank of America location opens at 10:00am. It is now 10:20 and there is not a soul there, doors are locked, can’t even get in to use the ATM. **it said on the door and on the BOA website that it opened at 10 as their adjusted hours**

Ausera: Same issue as the other reviewer, 9 months later and it’s probably the same person who takes forever to complete basic transactions and let’s people cut in line even when you’re sitting waiting. Complete lack of regard for peoples time when we have to work and get things done. Not sure what kind of business this is, please do better, and maybe get a new manager.

Monia Williams: Be mindful if you go to this bank that you must at least have 30 minutes or more of your time just to complete basic transactions. The teller took over 30 minutes and it was only 2 of us waiting to be serviced. In addition to the manger walking passed asked me what I needed and didn’t even help or try to assist the teller. This long wait caused me to get a ticket. Won’t go to this bank ever again. Cashed a check and now have to pay a $50 ticket

Moe Moe: Not helpful. I want to get a new atm card as it’s damaged and asked if it has to be placed in the mail or could I get it shipped to BOA and picked up there as people are stealing things out of the mail everyday here. They said it had to be shipped therefore they could not help me.

Nancy Lutz: The entire staff at this bank is wonderful (manager, officers, tellers, etc.). I was handling some complicated banking issues for someone, and they made excellent recommendations on how to resolve them and never rushed our conversations and transactions. Umer Waziri: Greg, warmly opened the door and met right the second I entered the branch. The whole process was personable warm and most helpful. Yes, the telling area took about 25 minutes to process what should have been a 5 minute job but overall, I am real happy and will happily refer family and friends to give their business to this branch.

Ed Arnold: The worst customer service I have ever seen. The tellers are the worst and there are more managers sitting in the office then support out front. I have been here several times and each time its a terrible experience. 45 min wait in a line of 5 people and the managers just sit there and watch. This branch should be closed! The worst BOA I have ever seen.

stefanie concepcion: The two receptionists at the front were condescending and pretentious. The first receptionist, in her tan suit, didn’t smile and was cold. The second lady LAUGHED at my face when I said I didn’t know my acct #. The best part of this branch is the Personal Banker Gregory Peeples. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us in a jiffy. The other two are a stain on this branch. Appalling employees.

Alysha Louis: My banking experience today kind of renewed some of my faith in BOA. Everytime I go to their branches it always takes me an hour to get through the line (even if its only 5 people). Today I waited in line and was in and out of the bank in 10 minutes!!!!! I even asked the gentleman for his name, which he told me but I forgot. He was very nice, and helpful. I am glad there is still one good branch.

Onyinyechi A: I have been a bank of America account holder since 2004. And the disparity between the quality of the customer service between branches is crazy. This bank has 5 teller booths yet I have NEVER seen more than 2 working at a time . Doesn't matter weekend or week day. They also have 3 manager offices and again I have never seen more than 1 manager on duty. This never happens when you go to the Georgetown or Dupont area.

Melanie Moss: Shocked with how terrible this bank is compared to other BoA locations. They are constantly closed early... seems like no one is ever working there. Location feels really unsafe like I can just imagine robberies here all the time. Take your business to another bank or go downtown DC to a BoA (recommend Financial District/Golden Triangle). I should add too that the reviews stating that they charge you unecessary fees is completely accurate. I was charged for depositing a check into my account! What is that?!? The only reason I walked into this bank was to deposit the check because there was a problem with doing it on the mobile app. THIS BANK SHOULD HAVE ZERO STARS. ghetto... people loitering outside the bank and the security is just sitting around and think that's cool...

SAIFO BEATZ: This review is about Bank of America and this specific branch! This is the worst bank of America branch you could ever imagine, the ATM here is a scam!!!! I deposited cash to the ATM and it reversed the transaction but it didn’t give me all of my money back, it gave me only 20% of the amount I deposited and that’s what shows on my online account, basically I’ve been scammed 80% of my deposit and I’m on the phone everyday with Bank of America for updates but all I get is “there is no updates on when you will have your money back” and the Agents on the phone are not well trained and they’re not in knowledge of a lot of things on there job, they told me to go back to the branch and speak to a banker, I took the time and went there and I found this branch unfortunately is permanently closed now, it is really bad because I deposited my money because I need to use it not to spend days and hours on the phone to get my money back. If there was less than 1 star rating this right there definitely deserves it!!!

red yellow: I loved this place. Before I came to BoA of this branch, I tried three other banks (which I am not going to say where), to open up my bank account. All other places made me to wait for 2 hours, worked unorganized ending up doing nothing. Even when I revisited other banks with required documentations, they asked me for another documentations which they didn’t ask me before. Compared to those terrible services, BOA in Rhode Island provided me the best ever service. Assistants are kind, quick, organized, always smiling and take very serious care of each customers.

Christopher Hughes: There is no place worse in DC than this bank. 6 parking spots for a busy bank, 4 of them taken up by the employees cars. Those employees all sit in their offices and watch 1 teller deal with a line of 30 people.

Duke Lash: When ever I visit this branch it all ways under staffed and the wait is always 20 -40 long. Today there was an issue going on and both tellers were down and the manager was trying to resolve the issue but during the 20 minute wait nothing was said to the people standing in line. People's frustration began going through the roof and still no inter action between the manage and the patrons.

Mitchell Khader: Avoid this branch at all costs if you can help it. Staff is rude and they are consistently understaffed. I’m currently standing in a line of 15 people all waiting for one single teller. There are 2 other employees just sitting in their offices. Just horrible service.

Perfect Melody: I just received my new Cardin the mail and went to Bank of America on Minnesota to withdraw my money at the drive thru. I inserted my card put in my pin and proceeded to select my language preference. It then went to a temporary maintenance screen and took my card. I called the number on the atm and they said that I will have to contact the company that I bank with to fix the problem… the solution was to get a new card since they took mines. Another 5 days to get my card and I have a lot of bills due now. Not good at all. Don’t go to them especially when they can take your card without an explanation or right. It was the second atm at the drive thru btw.

Tia Norris: This Bank of America location has presented me with worst banking experience I've ever had since stepping foot in a bank. The teller had to write out her responses and if that wasn't bad enough she was the ONLY teller in the bank besides the manager who was only taking deposits. The location has to do better. Customers were very disgruntle in the line which they had ever right to be after standing in line for over 30minutes. A few people came in and simply turned around because the line was so long.

Marie Bussie: I went to Bank of America on Minnesota Ave to talk about some financial issues and when I walked in there was only two people in front of me so that went quick. I then asked to speak to someone because I needed some information, I was introduced to Mrs. Voronica L Green who is the Vice president, Financial Center Manager, she was the nicest person that I've done business with in a long time very professional very informative, I would definitely recommend this bank. Garner Marshall: I had a great banking experience at this branch. I walked in and they had a gentleman in the front that was meeting and greeting people as they arrived. He immediately approached me and asked if he could help me with anything. I explained what I came to do and within minutes I was sitting with a representative in the back. Very fast service also even when I go in and do banking via the teller. Employees are knowledgeable and courteous.

latrice thurman: I’ve had fraudulent, suspicious activity on behalf of my account. Bank of America was very effective and efficient when it came down to freezing my account; that was three weeks ago. Nevertheless, I have been to the bank if America, Minnesota Avenue on several occasions and each time I spent hours there and to no avail, each time I was not professionally assisted. To this date no access to my account

Ronica Milledge: HATED IT! Always packed and the pregnant young lady is very rude and unprofessional! On top of not knowing how to complete my transaction her whole attitude and demeanor was very rude and UNwelcoming. I also tried to explain to the young lady how to do it as the other representative had another customer but instead I was shushed for her to talk to the other young lady. She also asked the police officer who was being assisted by the teller beside me if they were hiring for dispatchers while barely completing my transaction. I've been with Bank of America for over 10 years and I've never been so disappointed with the customer service received. I will NOT be returning to this location!

On a payday Friday they only 2 tellers and when I asked the manager about or if they were hiring she stated they have only TWO tellers period on the payroll. Are you kidding me!!!
