Ryan Fleming: Awful experience with a business account. Showed up with all the necessary documentation, all the necessary people present, but they were unable to make a simple personnel switch (add/drop signatory authority) because Capitol One in VA had lost our documentation from the previous time we did a personnel switch. The K street branch were unhelpful, consistently gave contradictory information, gave us no direction with how to proceed. They were absolutely dumbstruck with any path forward, and would regularly tell us the wrong information or information that was quickly proven not true. They were so rude and unwilling to even call their manager as we sat in the lobby for over an hour. Walked across the street and set up a new business account with Citi in less time than it took for Capital One to give us an answer on how to proceed after they lost our document. (Who doesn't digitize in this day in age??) DO NOT GO HERE!

UFO: The worst place under staffed . Management wants to save money on cashiers . Avoid capital one bank . You will wait 30Minutes to cash your check . Don’t get lured by free checking out .

Jane Kinsman: I had a bad experience at this branch when I tried to access my safe deposit box. The staff behind the teller line gave me inaccurate information about how to make an appt. to open my box. I made a second trip to the branch only to find out I couldn't get into the box because I hadn't followed the proper procedure. I had, in fact, done exactly what they told me to do. So I had to go back a third time. BTW, I'm an older person with a compromised immune system, making me more likely to get COVID. This information did not seem to make any impression on the branch personnel. I'm a long time customer of Capital One, and this experience has been very disappointing.

Mark Baughman: Needed to make an important deposit. Can’t believe they just padlock the doors to the ATM vestibule - before 5pm. No sign suggesting another ATM. I found a Cap one ATM up the street didn’t work.

Elizabeth Cho: I walked recently just to do a regular deposit and ask a few questions about an account I opened recently. I was actually having a rough morning but was really surprised by the customer service. The teller, Aldo, was so genuinely kind and had a great energy. He helped me with everything I needed with a smile and fantastic attitude. Funny how the little things can turn your day around! Great branch.

Gracie Patrick: I received excellent customer service from Billy today over the phone. I was originally worried about phone service when I joined Capital One because it is such an tech oriented bank, but when I called I was quickly directed to speak to a real person, Billy, and he was extremely patient and answered all my questions in a timely manner.

Austin Graff: With many nearby locations closing, this Capital One Bank is one of the only ones left in downtown DC. It's pretty large with tellers in the back and two ATMs in the front that are always available. It's a short walk from the Farragut North Metro.

Wei Wu: I wish I could give them zero. I am the customers Capital One. have a document to be notarized. I called this branch early this week and the staff answered my phone told me to come here on the following Friday before 12pm. I took a day off for Friday and came to this location at 11:30am. Then the staff told me they don’t do notarizing, they only take care withopening business accounts. Terrible service! Unbelievable it’s Capital One! Never had bad experience before until this!

Kirstin Morgan: Arrived at 9am this morning, which is the opening time on the sign on the door, to find the Branch's Security Guard and 6 people waiting to get in. We all waited for over 20 minutes until almost 9:30am. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP to open the branch! Returned later that day at 1pm and found a sticker on the door saying branch is CLOSED FOR NOW????? Just terrific customer service all around

UFO: Weird bank I tried to cash 1500$ check at u street location. Teller said he has to call someone . He refused to cash .I told him I have been cashing this check over 10 years . He probably thought I don’t look person who can make 1500$ a week 😂. I went to my regular k street location. They cashed it . CraZy bank. I will never open account with capital one even if it cost 0$ bank teller needs mental check up

Princess F: I went into the branch yesterday and was given a hard time for no reason (well we know the real reason). Nonetheless the guy behind the counter asks for my address on file and I gave it to him. He goes to tell me that’s not the address on file and I informed him it was. I proceeded to tell him I come here all the time and I never have been told my address was incorrect. He then says well “they” may know you but I don’t and the address you gave me is wrong. So I pulled up my account on my phone to look for myself (without showing him) because why in the world would my address be different. Of course he lied but if I couldn’t verify my address on file why would you allow me to withdraw hundreds of dollars from an account? Hmmm get better employees these ppl here are disgusting.

Kyle Barrett: The ATM at this location is not safe. There are regularly people sleeping and hanging out here. I've come across urine, vomit, old food, and more on the floor. I feel sorry for the cleaning people. It's gotten worst since this location has been shut down because of the pandemic. Once a man came up to me at the ATM and was upset that I wouldn't give him money so he tried holding the double doors closed as I left. I've tried repeatedly to reach out to a manager or someone else (I was told they have ambassadors and not managers on site) at this branch. No one follows up. I also tried contacting the corporate number, was told the concerns would be addressed, and again there's no resolution. Micheal asked if I had called the police?? There's no accountability. At this point, I am switching banks. It's clear Capital One does not care about the safety of their customers.

Tyrone Calvin: I was here for the grand opening on Monday the 28th and it was such a pleasure to be greeted by many Capital One staff, who were beyond friendly and helpful. Also, the free orange juice and coffee made it more of a pleasure to come back to this branch.

The WonDufful Channel: Disappointed y'all ATMs are out of order. U guys just opened. This wouldn't happen in Virginia. I work in the area. U went from 1 atm down to both. Smh. Definitely was depending on deposit that I couldn't do smh. C'mon yall

Review Lady: I was a Chevy Chase Bank customer when Capital One took over. They have the WORST customer service ever, and their services SUCK! THEY LIE LIKE A RUG, TO YOUR FACE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN! ATM has been partially functuonal for almost two (2) months now, and everytime you inquire, they say, "Oh, I was not aware that the ATM was not working"......LIARS! You dont know that it has been partially working or not all for almost two (2) months? Seriously? Everyone, do your self a favor and find another bank, who at least cares about your banking concerns.

Guney Demirci: Worst Capital One bank branch ever! Manager or banker was sitting in front and talking on the phone for 15 mins while people wait in line. Also sent me away saying I don’t have an appointment. They were no body in there. Their system don’t have available time slot next 6 months. Lazy bank workers and useless manager. Close the branch if you won’t serve your customers.

Artem Bogdanov: Hi I called today to replace my lost at home credit card. I asked the representative not to block the current card while sending the replacement. They did completely wrong blocking the card + I had to wait over 30 minutes and been asked the same questions over and over. This is terrible service. Plus I cannot customize the design of the card, which almost every financial institution offers to do and it’s quite easy.

Cummings Family: Baits customers with false deposits from bankrupt companies with their capital one 360 product, customer service verifies the deposits as legit over the phone, stating that they are from your regular depositor despite what the description says, then abruptly reverses the deposits a week later, and profits off the overdraft and interest charges. I can't wait until this fraud is exposed.

Adrienne Rigby: One of a few service locations still available on Saturday until noon. The bank is within walking distance to the Capitol and other federal buildings. Street parking only is available. The handicap ramp access is great. Upon entering a seated representative welcomes you from behind a large desk. Behind that wall is the banking area. The staff is friendly, attentive and greets many return customers as if they were old friends.
Response: Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came - Yep that sums up our Capital Hill Branch. A friendly bunch who knows their customers. ^AB

Mike Blinov: You won't be able to access your account. About 3 weeks ago Capital One had an "issue" where internet access was not available. At least 4 hours of multiple calls, endless transfers, and research still no access. Reached out to the guy that opened my account in the branch, his response is for me to come to the branch. Why? So that the two of us can stair at the error I get on the phone/laptop? The bank is incompetent, every call is at least 15 min wait. Wells Fargo is in the next block. Stay away from amatures.

Jeremy Burge: I would NOT recommend banking here. They lied in terms of their offerings. I don’t find them to be trust worthy and their services are subpar compared to their competitors.

Digital Cassette: Hit or miss customer service. Sometimes the tellers are obviously annoyed and rude. Sometimes they have free coffee and donuts. Today, there were no coffee and no donuts.

Gianna Bull: Decided to go into the branch to discuss opening new accounts and looking into my current credit account. Complete waist of an hour. After waiting patiently to finally be told the young lady would not know when she would be able to sit with me. The rep advised me to use the app. After deciding to leave after waiting I received a snobby attitude from the young lady to have a nice day in a condescending tone. My advice do not waste your time at this branch!

Destiny P: So capital one closed most of the branches to open up cafes which you can’t really do anything there except use the atm. The closest full branch to me now is this location at 12th & F street NW. It is very slow and always crowded. Every time I come to this location it’s always 2 people working here. One teller and one banker. I rarely come to this location because of this and come back with hopes that when I’ve come back it’s fully staffed. But no, same long waits. So disappointing! I’m taking my busy elsewhere.

Mashal Shah: Terrible location. One of the worst capital ones I’ve been to. The manager is never around and the tellers can’t seem to do basic transactions. Every time I’ve been here, it’s a nightmare. Nobody seems to want to do their job and the lady in the back room is extremely unhelpful and rude. All the staff here is incompetent and lazy. Kurt Baechler: After I saw the reviews of this branch I was hesitant to go inside but my experiences have been nothing but positive. The employees are always very polite and helpful. I always get in and out in a timely fashion. The branch is very clean and nice inside. Possibly most importantly they are doing a very good job making the branch safe for customers during covid. They have markers on the floor telling you where to stand, they have 2 big jugs of hand sanitizer, the employees are behind glass of course since it’s a bank, they have two cups with pens at the counter (one for unused pens and one for used pens), etc.

Ed Rector: Things have certainly changed for the worse at this branch. A few years ago my wife and I found its staff to be always smiling, friendly and helpful. No more !!! I recently had a CD mature there and wanted to redeem it and deposit the funds into the checking account there. Very simple -- right? No so fast !! As I am disabled, I called them in advance to ask them the easiest way to redeem the CD. The answer: there is no easy way. There are five pages of documents and disclosures to sign and they told me (rather rudely) it all had to be done in person and in the branch. They would not even mail, fax or e-mail them to me in advance to read. No exceptions !!! We have already changed a couple of accounts to the M & T office two blocks away where they seem to appreciate their customers. I would suggest the same for others. Or even better go to your local credit union.

chris white: Ruben is a very unprofessional cashier at this location. I've already accessed my account using my debit card. Why are you harassing me for my ID to make a deposit? Is Capital One Bank profiling individuals for making deposit if they are minority

John: I am having a very incompetent experience at the moment. My son is starting his first job and we wanted to open an account. I called the branch this morning to see if they were open and the recording said/implied they were open for full service. We went to the branch to open an account and they said they couldn't do it, we had to do it online. We have been working for several hours online. The process the branch told us to use doesn't work because son is not 18. The open account function stops at the birth date entry point. The option for a teen account won't let us create the account online without linking to an outside bank account to transfer money in. Customer Service won't pick up and the call back option hasn't resulted in a call back in several hours. Very frustrated with Capital One incompetence.

Sara S: We visited the branch to do a transaction recently i have to say I was very impressed by dealing with the associate named Alaa. He was very pleasant with great attitude. He jumped in to help me right away at a very busy time. First time in a long time i felt welcomed in a bank!

Matt Phlegar: I had a unique issue that I thought I had resolved over the phone with corporate customer service in early December 2018. I found out that the issue was only half resolved on 2-Jan 2019, so I decided to go into a branch to speak with someone in person the following Saturday. This was the first Saturday of the New Year and I arrived 20 minutes before the branch closed – a very busy time. After only waiting for 5 minutes, the Branch Ambassador, Doran Davis, came over to ask how he could help. Doran actively listened while I explained the situation, which took a while because there was a good amount of backstory involved at this point. After about an hour of discussion and phone calls to HQ, the whole situation was resolved. Outcome aside, this has to be the most impressive customer experience I've ever experienced. Doran was focused on helping me the entire time, even though our meeting ran about 60 minutes past bank hours. I didn’t see him check his watch or cell phone once. This is the definition of excellent customer service and professionalism.

pajasa62: On the Saturday before a Monday holiday (President's Day) this bank had a "CLOSED DUE TO WEATHER" sign on its front door...shortly before the time it would normally close on Saturday (12pm) it was RAINING!!!

CJ Ricciardi: My wife called to inquire about opening an account. Rather than answering a couple simple questions they told her to go online or stop in a branch. So we opened an account down the street at M & T. It's called customer service, and they failed at it today.

Skylar J' PR Agency Social Media Management Company: I been banking with them for some years but when I tried to open a business account for business I had all my paperwork they told me my social security number had a block it was funny that I used that same number to open my business account with a another bank I felt like they discriminated against because I'm trans women . I told them I had my operations because they asked me if I used any other names I felt humiliated and embarrassed I've been using my social security number for years and I have LifeLock so if my social security number was compromised they would had told me that my social security number was compromised. I really want to take my money out of this bank and go somewhere else I feel hurt and devastated.

Troneice Harrington: Worst bank ever I had this bank for not even 2 weeks . I deposited a check yesterday not knowing the check would not clear till 5-7 business days. They are giving me partial of my money. Never had a bank that does this. I have chase and if I’ve known that, I would have deposited there. It says it’s deposited but not in my account. The app sucks. The disputes should be done via app. My money seem to be removing from my account very slowly. I talked to customer service unprofessional and was unable to help me. After my check is deposited. I will close it. I’ll stick to chase.

Monia Williams: I went to the bank today thinking that I was going to in go in and get something simple done in a reasonable time. That was a negative. The line was out the door but when I came it I was only 5 of us in line. Corey was the only teller that was servicing clients. He even asked the other two ladies for assistance and they never assisted. This was very poor customer service. Especially to never acknowledge their co-worker needed help and it’s the end of the day on a Friday at that.

June: I tried to make a deposit today and the teller said that they are only doing withdrawals and not deposits. What sense does that make? They just need to do away with this location because they are good for nothing. Don’t want to work. If I could have given zero stars I would have, because that’s what this location is worth!

Rosalind Jones: I have been banking with this company for about 15 years or more, since they opened on Good Hope Rd. SE and they still have not issued me a credit card! When I get the time I will be going to another bank. I like the location because it is near my home, but, it is not always good to show loyalty to an establishment that shows you no loyalty.

Danielle Johnson: There was a crack bag on the floor !!!! When the man in front of me told security he laughed and responded this is southeast. The people of southeast deserve just as much respect as any othe residents of the district. The security gaurds are too busy flirting with each other to realize that drugs are on the floor of the bank . I will never come here again I’m glad this isn’t my bank . This location is very slow you have workers not assisting customers even though the line is long.

Jacob Ba: Hi , this is the worse banking in the world , no stuff at all , they need help , the line go true the outside door nobody is working and then lot of Costner’s are tired of waiting and they walk back out more than 20 people going out of the bank bethout paying and dropping or opening an new account, that the 4 time in the week I been waiting for more than 3 hours!!! That’s ridiculous, the bank is waisting a lot of costmer s means businesses, they have to go to different banks . Even we can’t signe in even to drop money, wow wow .

Tee Laa: I had a terribke exeprience at this branch. The teller refused to cash a payroll check that is drawn on Capital One. When I called customer service, I learned that the account holder has the funds available so there is no reason why the check should not have been cashed. The teller didn’t even take the time to call and verify the funds.

hiwot kasa: I hate to say this but, I am sitting here to open a business account and all These employees are playing and laughing. It takes 45 to help one customer. The two couples who came before me, gave and left. I just left now. I am on my to Bank of America to open my account. I sguesst to go to this location on your day off or just to use he ATM machine!!

Linda Wang: Do not make an appointment online, because this branch won’t honor that. Unfortunately, I learned it after trying to locate where it is and walking in a super hot and humid day for 20 min. I will never ever come back to this branch and is considering to close all my accounts with capital one due to the poor service.

Charmaine L.: ZERO STARS for the way I was treated today by the cashier and the manager. They made me feel like I was a CROOK for trying o withdraw a large amount of money. It wasn't what they said about my id, but HOW they said it and asked me "what are you going to use the money for?" REALLY????? I am going to close this account, and find a bank that caters to people of all races and a bank that thinks if a black woman walks in to withdraw funds that are over a "certain" amount, it should NOT be questioned!!!!!!!

Sean Makulowich: DO NOT USE THE ATMs AT THIS LOCATION IF YOUR NOT USING A CAPITAL ONE CARD. THE ATM MACHINE WILL KEEP YOUR CARD AND THE BANK STAFF WILL NOT ASSIST YOU IN RETRIEVING YOUR CARD FROM IT GETTING LOCKED IN THE MACHINE. A few days ago, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to stop at my bank so I went to withdraw some cash using my Bank of America debit card as I've done many times here at the drive through and at the walk-up ATM and halfway through the process, a message popped up that said: "We are sorry, but we have encountered a problem with this ATM machine and can no longer complete your transaction. Please try again later." My BoA card was never released or ejected from the ATM machine so I went inside to the bank and the bank teller told me that they can't help me get it back unless it's a Capital One card and that I just need to request a new card from my bank. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I will never use any Capital One ATM ever again, nor will I ever consider banking with Capital One in any capacity. I highly recommend you don't either.

krissia merino: Every time I go to this bank there is a problem, I am a business owner and I also work for a real estate company, therefore I use the bank a lot, I do deposits every week, I take the checks to this bank they will always put a problem, but the worse thing was humiliating me for a $900 check, they called my bos and told him I was trying to cash a check and the signature does not match, my boss signature was exactly as always and never had a problem in other banks before, however they called my boss and had to wait for almost 40 minutes until they were done reviewing my check, at the end they gave me my money, and all the trouble was because they thought I didn't have an account with them and was trying to get the cash, yet I have an account and all I wanted to do is deposit cash directly to my savings instead of the check. Very disrespectful and mean!! Never banking there again.

Molom: This branch has refused to cash my checks 2 times so far. They make up some fake policy or say they don’t have cash. What kind of bank does not have cash? Other Capital One branches like the one in Rosslyn is terrific.

Sophie D: If a customer comes to open an account in this day and age of covid 19, the best you can do is service them, not tell them to go online. There is a reason they made the effort, they might need personal financial advice that the internet cannot provide. Disappointed.

Mo: The worst bank ever to banking. I went there the other day for wire transfer & told to come back the next day. Because they said they don’t accept after 3 (even though I was there since 2:30). I came back the next day & told to do it online. I know they could do it but they all talk each other in other language & didn’t want to serve me. Sad

Ghaiesha Legrand: I do not know about 5 years ago or less, but now, employees are very professional, smiling and friendly. I opened my account very quickly with precise and easy explanations. My deposits are always fast, no more than 5 minutes in a row to wait. Super team!

Shondalette Randolph: This Capital One location is the worst!!! I hate coming here. The lines are always long and the tellers are extremely slow!!!! I feel that upper management needs to do an evaluation of this branch. And from the looks of the reviews this should have been done a while ago!

Eric Saul: This branch is often very crowded on any given day. I try to avoid going inside and instead use the ATMs for all my transactions. Life hack: there are actually 3 ATM machines. Two are on the north side of the building and another one is around the corner on the east side. Check the line on both sides as many people aren't aware of the other machines.

Kapila Patel: I always go to capital one bank for my banking needs,but i hate going to this location..... stuff is very rude !!!!!!!! not professional at all ! i came one day to put my money in to the business account and one of the bill was fake!!!!!! and okay i understand that they have to take my id or whatever ,but there was no need to tell other people that was working wit her !!!!!!!when i was standing out side waiting for her to come back everyone was looking at me like i bought all fake bills. i think the girl who was helping was riarnna or something like that ......I always go to other capital bank but this is very close to my business so i choose to come here when I really had to !!!!!! but guess what ? all the time i come here they have some kind of problem... Mini Aa: Ya Khushboo, that girl has problem. When I was paying my cc Bill she told me to pay more than my balance but I would know it and confronted her. She didn't say sorry. And a Spanish teller who is so stupid to work with customers, he doesn't even tell you the right answers for your own money. But I think the bank doesn't care either.

Betelhem Gesesse: The worst branch branch ever. All time to get services takes more then 1 hrs. The staff after they serve some one to take the next one it takes them 10 to 15 min....!

fortuna Semere: Worst customer service all my life is capital one but this is the first time bad service at this brunch special the manager name Nyma Ghaus is very bad attitude and gave me incorrect information and even she can’t solve the problem and she do not fit her position and the branch is very slowest service ever and spend my time never solve my problem and I left

Tanvir Ruhel: Great service! So the visitor can open bank account without SSN in USA. I met Mr. Pedro and he was fabulous to provide smooth service. He explains all the correct information spontaneously. Within few minutes he opened my account and activated with following documents: 1. Passport 2. Driving license 3. International Credit Card 4. Local address proof 5. Minimum opening balance USD.50 If you maintain daily balance of USD.300 then there is no monthly or yearly charge for the account. Moreover, their website and app is also very simple and effective.

Robert Edwards: When did full service become NO SERVICE? They had two tellers and noone else. Put my name on the "list" thinking maybe someone was in a back room. After waiting 15 minutes thinking someone would at least acknowledge my existence asked a teller--who said I would have to wait until everyone in line had been serviced. At no time while I am standing there did either teller say anything.

Pakeezha: Such welcoming and warm staff! They are all so helpful and explain things throughly. Been banking with them for years and love it and very happy with it.

Mario Garcia: Worst customer service ever at this branch Crystal City VA, I called to get info to open an account. Demian the "account ambassador" gave me incorrect info to open the account and I ask to speak with an account specialist. Waited for 40 min never got transfered to the correct representative. I called another branch, explained my situation and all my questions were answered correctly.

Charles M: Very friendly and helpful staff. Large bank (for the area). Not busy at all on a Thursday morning. Ms. Harriett (normally at Rosslyn location) was very kind and helpful. Thank you! Came in to open a kids savings account. Capital one is excellent for an online bank, so if you come in and something can be done online, expect them to help you do it online, vice doing it for you. Worth coming in for the kid to learn about banks.

Genet Assefa-SIMPLE THOUGHT: The day I went to open an account, I was so impressed by how courteous the staffs at the front desk are. The bank manager was an amazing person, he took his time to explain to all of my questions. I really felt an important customer the day I walked in. I am glad I opened my account that day. I was extremely happy and satisfied with the overall excellent service and respect they showed me. Awesome!!!!

Zach Burroughs: Visited at 1:30 and they are closed for lunch. People have to eat but has management never heard of staggering lunches? Wasted a trip.

We stopped by this afternoon to discuss investment options and we were signaled by an employee named Ruben. He was sitting in the teller's booth and there were clients standing around. We asked him if someone can assist us privately as we do not wish to spell our private funances in public. Ruben replied rudely that he can assist us at the window or else. The guy was signaling others while we are standing at his booth.(we had our two small kids with us) He was extremely rude to us so we left the location feeling our business is not appreciated by the bank. We have decided that we will never set a foot at this location ever again. In fact, we are going to part ways with Capital One itself. It's a shame that they have employees of this attitude serve their clients.

Bryan Cardoza: In 2022 I was just treated poorly and racially profiled at this location. Cashing a final payment check & all I received were stares. Everything on my end in order. Identification, bank card etc. 20min standing around and not a single explanation. Just triple, quadruple checking it. Do they not receive proper training? All that was needed was a explanation for the wait. But not a single courtesy apology. They did all that just to noticed I never endorsed the check til the end. The market manager steps out after I start asking why I was treated differently. I told her I didn’t have another 20 minutes to goof around with her. They could have called the check issuer from the beginning. The number was on a sticky note already written down. Sad that the issuer told them that this only happens when he issued checks to young Latino males. Capital one should be embarrassed. Profiling in 2022. Glad they didn’t see the first check because they would have called the cops the first moment they could. Parisha and the other employee who didn’t share her name should be sent back to training.

Gerald Mirabal: Capital one only offers the original apr they have agreed upon. They will NEVER negotiate from what every CSR has told me. I would not deal with a company that sees pure profit over customer. Usually mean they don't care about the consumer.

Jim Evans: Traveled out of downtown DC to northetn VA in search of an open Capital One but instead found several Capital One banks borded up and one ATM out of service. I really dislike this "bank"...they should have stayed just a credit card company!

Sharon: Was able to complete new acct process here. Customer service ok. Parking lot too small, not enough parking. Traveled all over Fairfax to find a location, first 4 locations were closed.

Aung Maw: Denise was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to help me. She even made a follow up phone call to provide an update on my account. Although I noticed there were only two windows Opened and no other associates were there, the service was excellent.

Sully Manda: I came into this branch to make sure that I pay my Capital One Auto Fiance. I went into the building spoke with an agent he was unable to activate my online bill pay within the branch then informed me, "It could take 24 to 48 hours" I acknowledged him and went a long my day. A few days later I was completely locked out of my online bank account still. I would not recommend this branch to anyone ever.

Morgan D: This bank needs to consider hiring more staff. The lines are always out the door and the teller drive thru is almost never available. I usually drive an extra 15 mins out the way to go to the next nearest. I hope my review gets this place the help it much needs

Its really disgusting to them great people the way they do . Top of that I feel I'm in a different country . Bottom line its gonna get a lot of bad reviews from me . Its my mission now . Capital one is dishonest to the core . Corporate Greed too the bone . Oh Safeway a food store cashed the check . Imagine that . FRAUDULENT

Then later I get investigated about fraud due to a bad check, which they claim my signature did not match and put me in the whole which I paid it off. The employee that was dealing with my problem told me if I paid it off I can keep my account.. as soon as i paid it off the company told me I can not have checking account anymore.

Springfield MAACO: We have been open for over 30 years . Lilian gladly gave her name out and did not take our checks so we had to go to a different location. Obliviously DBA doesn’t mean anything . Never had an issue before and obviously a lot of people get an attitude while being their customer for many years!

Michael Favis: Have a small business account which requires cash deposits weekly. Que in branch is usually 4-6 people, but today was 14!! I’ve sent feedback on the Cap1 branch site, but things don’t seem to get better. Will investigate switching to another bank because time is $$$!

Lucia Sanchez: The branch is nice inside, not a large bank but comfortable, modern and with air conditioning. BUT all this is useless if they rig up their ATMs and the ladies working there incompetent some hispanics far less to be willing helping customers specially if you own another banking debit card. ATMs will fail giving me cash with a General System error. When going directly to cashiers they will give a dumb excuse to go to my bank blaming a system malfunction. So bottom line, do NOT go there is you are not a bank customer. A bank that does not act as a bank. Also tried to withdraw using cashier's service (my account is another bank) they refused. Tried to change cash and also was declined for not having an account with them. They will ask for your ID which i am okay BUT full social security SSS number which I do not agree to disclose just for a simple transaction. Why do they need full social security number for? Nobody should be asked for their full SSS. Only IRS, DMV, DHS might ask you. Decided to call customer service number to make them aware and question these bad practices with non bank customers (people that need to do transactions but hold bank accounts someplace else - like me). The woman on the phone was useless. She said each brank have their own policies and procedures. Which i think was a lie. Told her that was impossible and did not make sense. She then said to reach directly to the branch manager since she had only information for online banking.

Kevin Amor: Lazy people at these banks. They have huge lines of people waiting and they move as if they’re on vacation or forced to be at work dragging their feet. Capital one bank is becoming one of the worse banks with these people and the closing of all their branches. Just look at the star on this branch

Omid Danish: 17 customers waiting in line, only 1 teller working. The worst bank ever.

Lai Zhang: They keep charging add on fees non stop. Interest is fluctuate. They messed up my payment date and blame me by charging me late fees which keep going up daily....refuse to fix it and force me to pay another fee by changing to the payment date which we were agree on the first time. Customer service was terrible. I decided to pay off the loan recently and they keep changing the total amount I owe them even within the good through period... Better pay off or refinance asap.

Modupe Docs: Went here after driving 2.5 hrs to help my dad out who lives in the area. After waiting over 30 mins in line outside in the cold, the manager sends the security guard out at 12 on the dot to pretty much telling us to kick rocks. Regardless of the fact we were there way before closing and trying to do our part in the global pandemic and social distance and wait outside. The manager then proceeded to call the cops because the handicap lady was upset, who was standing in line even before I was. She had to walk around the entire building on her walker because they decided to lock the handicap entrance, not let her in the handicap entrance and made her wait in line after huffing and puffing all the way round the building. A business that acts like this, treats the handicap like this and could care less about a pandemic... speaks a lot about what they really care about

Tino M-Ze: Made a $75 cash deposit at the front store ATM and the money never made it to my account. Minutes later I made another deposit and it went fine. But for some reason the $75 just disappeared. I called Capital One dispute department and they were bombarded with calls that i was put on hold for 45 minutes until I was finally able to talk to someone. The customer service representative credit my account with the $75.

Jacob Marley: I planned my first visit to this location around the terrible reviews. I showed up 10 minutes after opening, hoping to beat the rush, and was 5th in line, and by the time I got to the window there were several people behind me. But the line moved at a decent pace. The friendly branch manager intercepted everyone walking inside in order to try to redirect them to an ATM. All in all it seemed decent enough experience, but I can see how this branch could get super busy.

Scott Beal: For reasons I won't explain, I am closing my business and personal accounts with Capital One. From my experience, this is not a bank that has any inclination to serve a small business in our area. Fair enough, it's a free country. Goodbye, then. There are very nice, proficient people working at this branch. But it is by far the slowest banking experience I've had, ever, anywhere. If you really want to make a day of it, then take a picnic lunch with you and cue up to the drive-thru teller. You can share your sandwiches with the good people in line with you. They will be getting hungry, too. For you entrepreneurs, this would be a great spot to locate a drive-thru car detailing business. You will have plenty of time to complete all your work before your customer needs to pull forward in line. You could include pet grooming, pedicures, and deep-state meditation, because time is money and time is what you can count on having.

alan segal: Decline of services since taking over Chevy Chase Bank, especially the 360 iteration. Almost all perks eliminated for high-balance customers, untimely statements lacking detail, Fees for everything. Recently hacked...took 6 mo. to acknowledge fault and reimburse. Still haven't admitted breach of their security. Ease of telephone banking the only positive feature.

Christina Eaglin: Been banking here for at least 15+ years and love this bank. I left another bank who charged me for everything but sneezing! This place is like "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. I started a small business ten years ago this month, and they were so helpful and got me the right solutions that I needed.

thomas worku: The ATMs at this location are 3 they don't have variety of bills only 1ATM machine provides 20$ notes the rest only 1's I don't know why. but this is very inconvenient other than that the cashiers are very professional and outstanding Thank you!!

S lastname: I’m a POA for an elderly lady with dementia at this location. I did all the necessary paperwork. They faxed it in and then lost it. I repeated the whole process. Didn’t matter because every time I come in I’m treated like a thief and made to wait while they call the main bank to “verify” me. We’re talking half hour long calls at least.

Dawn Hodose: Honestly, this is one of the best branches. Whenever I'm there, most of the teller windows are being operated, so the line is pretty quick. I also have seen more personalized service for those who have accessibilty issues.

Jackie Mendoza (Jackie): Christopher was very rude, I wanted to withdraw a certain amount of money he proceeded to tell me that they only had small amount of cash, And that when I was done deciding what to do to come back in line and move to the side. I go into the bank not to be told what How much I can withdraw... Luckily came back in line and Jessica was super nice, didn’t ask questions. They should have more people like her!

Patrick Burke: I have banked here for one year as of this writing, and have had only good experiences with their customer service. They have been helpful in making change for a garage sale, providing a cashier's check, and public notary service. Checks can be deposited into your account by feeding them into the ATM outside the front door. The only down side is that there is often a lengthy line in the lobby for business other than dealing with a teller. But they do have staff assigned to greet you and assess your needs so they can more quickly connect you with the appropriate desk.

Sarah Factor: Terrible customer service. Never enough member servce people to help. I literally drive to silver spring to do my banking. I have literally waited in the waiting area for an hour overheard the teller tell another customer that thier network was down all before anybody actually approached to inform me. I have NEVER had a good experience here. If you need to make a deposit or something quick fine, but of you are looking for responsive, helpful, customer oriented people don't waste your time.

Sean Troxell: Don't come here if you want to accomplish anything beyond making a deposit. All they want is your money. Customer service is dead.

Zach Stone: Service uncharacteristically slow compared to other branches. Have been there many times with nobody at the reception desk and the sign in iPad off. Complementary items like coffee and water often unfilled or broken. The long wait times seem due to slow service and bad organization and things like their computers being slow/broken as opposed to crowding. I also don’t really care about these things, but there’s been dirt and/or trash on the floor every time I’ve had to come in. The people are usually nice.

Wilson Bui: The manager by the name of Francisco at this branch was a huge help to me in a time of urgent need. I had to wire money to a title company for a settlement meeting that same afternoon (due to unforeseen delays from a poor performing Title Company). Francisco sat me down, took ownership, and worked hard to exhaust every option we could to send the money the same day. He even empathized with my challenges and shared his own experiences with housing in the past. Before the end of the morning, he was able to set up the wire and within a couple of hours, I was able to close on the house! It's folks like him that strive to provide excellent service no matter what that keep businesses like Capital One running! Definitely 5+ star service and I look forward to working with Capital One more in the future.

No problem I came in I gave my ID then gets questioned and and told I'm not in the system and was my address the current... There's always good news to hear specially when you've been banking with their sense they've been Chevy Chase. I kept cool and found my account number on my phone app gave it to The clerk and it came right up amazing!!! I was to it was because my last name was spelled with 2 letters not one. Ahhhhhh IF MY NAME IS BILL AND LIVED AT THE WHITE HOUSE And u ONLY HAVE BIL with everything else the same😠😠😠🤔being a loyalty customer doesnt seem to pan ot much anymore.....🤗🤗🤗🤗 Thanks for sharing🤣🤣😂😂

Joshua Arnold: Cash deposit atm never works. Twice in 2 weeks. These atm encountered an error gives card back and your left with 30 min+ phone call to the claims department. Very convenient!
