Ramona Killings: Today was the.first day visiting this branch which is close to my house. I arrived right at 11:30 and there was only one other customer inside completing his transaction. I was helped right away by a friendly person behind the counter. My transaction was unique in that I needed to deposit a check into someone else's account who lives overseas. However I only had their account number, and I want sure if his account was under his name or the of his business. The friendly lady behind the counter helped me out with that, and I appreciated it!

Zachary Reshovsky: Have come here several times to resolve account problems. Most recently, I had my debit card lost/stolen while on a five day jaunt to NYC. I was scared because I needed to pay for utilities at my house. Came here earlier this week to help resolve this problem. Staff were wonderful and very affirmatively helpful in assisting me by providing several immediate cash infusions without needing a card. In addition, staff were very informative in helping me navigate how to apply for a new credit card.

Michael Douthat: The Washington DC Wells Fargo at 3325 14th Street is a nice location. I’ve visited this one a couple times, they always provide excellent customer service. The manager is very friendly and tries her best to help out. I just want to say one thing. The last time I visited, the manager gave me a number (I think a direct office number?) to reach her on. It’s different than the 202-939 number listed. She said “Call me on this number about anything and I’ll help you”. She might think it’s a wonderful idea to be available for customers all the time for anything. But it’s not because no one can realistically fulfill that commitment. It’s much better to let me know there’s a team available to help me.

Hernan Gallego: The manager did nothing to try to help me out her aptitude was really upsetting and she smile with a fake remark the teller was great and tried his best especially in the times .for the record I been help before I got enough knowledge what a manager can do I had manage my self I am an industry person without a job now . Bekele Wolde: I was very uncomfortable to do the transaction with a tailor who didn’t wear mask. I asked the lady at the door,why he’s not wearing mouse mask. She said , there is no law that obliges employees to wear mask. There’s is a moral n health issue here. It’s life n death issue. I will not go again to that branch. Bek W.

Anne Bergren: Apparently Wells Fargo banks (especially this branch) don't provide basic services for their customers. I brought in a small bag of change and was told I would have to manually count it and put it into rolls before they would accept it. If I brought in a thousand dollars in $1s, would they make me rubber band it up into bundles of $10 in the bank lobby? Yet again passing on costs to consumers. This is the MOST BASIC function of a bank--to exchange and deposit money. If Wells Fargo can't do that for its customers, how can I trust them with more complex functions like lending, or keeping my assets safe? A truly regressive policy if ever there was. I will be switching banks at nearly 20 years of loyalty.

Team Focus: App is always down so something as simple as CHECKING YOUR BALANCE is a task and a half. Tellers are rude. Security guards stare you down. Bank is only open for 4 hours a day during the business week. If you need any assistance outside of those hours to say, process a payment over the weekend and can’t - you’re going to be s-it out of luck. Can’t do cash advances here either. Tried to support my people but as usual the service and quality is janky. I’ll be closing my acct next Monday - hopefully I can catch someone while they’re open during their 20 hour work week.

Sam Matthews: Really poor experience. There are basic things I expect a financial institution to be able to achieve and HSBC US has let me down at every turn. I have been a customer of HSBC in the UK for 20 years and in that time I haven't had a single issue. HSBS US seems to be another matter entirely and exceptionally long wait times for wire transfers, expensive forex rates and poor admin have rendered the service unusable for me. I opened accounts with Discover Bank & Capital One and have experienced none of the plethora of problems HSBC gave me.

Jorge Bazoberry: I had a lousy service; it took quit a time waiting to cash a HSBC check. Never happened. I only received a verbal communication to wait out side, although it was more a we don’t want you here, you look suspicious, please lady Sophio, I have no idea what was in your head! Truly, you may not be blameworthy of this complain, it may be HSBC lack of technology to verify signatures. Actually, take it as a good advise, not as a complain.

Rachel McCoy: 1 star is too many for the enormous number of woeful experiences I have had with this bank. Every step of my daily banking is a nightmare. Their customer service is also catastrophic. I have been late with every rent payment owing to their incompetence, and their unwillingness to help. I will move my account as soon as possible to literally ANY other bank.

David Gross: Every time I would make a deposit at this bank it would take a week for the money to clear. Moreover, they disabled the phone number that I normally used to call my bank and owuld not give me another. This bank is abusive.

Katherine Hess: Other reviewers said it and over two years later it's the same issue - told me that my account was closed and did not close it after 20 days, racked up overdraft fees. I've called and closed the account over the phone without the fees because I refused to pay them on principle. So glad I moved to a different bank.

ABDUL SHARIF: Industrial Bank is a great financial institution but there is still room to improve. Afro Americans living in the Washington DC Metropolitan area (Washington DC, Maryland, & Virginia suburbia) should support Industrial Bank by starting a basic checking account. We must assist our Afro American community institutions so they can better assist our people.

Lucio C: Its a bank. Change for 100 shouldn't be matter of joining the bank. You're part of the community and any thoughts i couod have had about giving them any business has gone out the window. I'll make sure no one I know banks with them

Jonathan Jones: This is a historically Afro - American banking institution...Its really a shame that it is being operated by a bunch of people who really don't care about the customer....I should be able to transact business in ALL of the branches not just ONE !!! Leo Slater: Lots of staff, few customers. Had to argue with staff about whether they would issue me cashiers checks. I have an account. Actively misunderstanding me. Telling me i should go elsewhere even though this is a free service to me here. Clerk seemed to have difficulty reading. Previously, this has been a great branch, but today I see and feel why others don't want to do business here.

K E Hunter: As a general contractor, I have clients from all economic levels and status. One client wrote me a check for services above 3k, it took 40minutes to cash the check and as a result my time, which is equal to $225.00 an hour was wasted. Lina Shaker: Incredibly slow service. My online banking isnt working and it should only take a maxium of 20 minutes to fix however i ended up waiting an hour then getting up and leaving because the service is incredibly slow and lazy. The people I entcountered working with seem nice but the service was terrible. Usually boa service is something I pride myself on but not recently. Just terrible.

Madina Narzieva: I would give a ZERO STAR to this bank. You just lost a customer of many years. I will be closing my accounts. I stopped by today to notarize a document. I was sent here by location on Wisconsin...Lady at the front told me they cant do it because I came 30 minutes before closing time. Mary C.: We came in to deposit a check. Twenty minutes and four service representatives later, we found out we couldn't deposit it immediately and had to wait for several days. We spent most of that twenty minutes waiting for all the various representatives to run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Also, there's no hand sanitizer anywhere and the bank is very overcrowded given the current pandemic and social distancing procedures. If I could give a negative review I would.

Wei Wu: I wish I could give them zero. I am the customers Capital One. have a document to be notarized. I called this branch early this week and the staff answered my phone told me to come here on the following Friday before 12pm. I took a day off for Friday and came to this location at 11:30am. Then the staff told me they don’t do notarizing, they only take care withopening business accounts. Terrible service! Unbelievable it’s Capital One! Never had bad experience before until this!

Kirstin Morgan: Arrived at 9am this morning, which is the opening time on the sign on the door, to find the Branch's Security Guard and 6 people waiting to get in. We all waited for over 20 minutes until almost 9:30am. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP to open the branch! Returned later that day at 1pm and found a sticker on the door saying branch is CLOSED FOR NOW????? Just terrific customer service all around

UFO: Weird bank I tried to cash 1500$ check at u street location. Teller said he has to call someone . He refused to cash .I told him I have been cashing this check over 10 years . He probably thought I don’t look person who can make 1500$ a week 😂. I went to my regular k street location. They cashed it . CraZy bank. I will never open account with capital one even if it cost 0$ bank teller needs mental check up

Princess F: I went into the branch yesterday and was given a hard time for no reason (well we know the real reason). Nonetheless the guy behind the counter asks for my address on file and I gave it to him. He goes to tell me that’s not the address on file and I informed him it was. I proceeded to tell him I come here all the time and I never have been told my address was incorrect. He then says well “they” may know you but I don’t and the address you gave me is wrong. So I pulled up my account on my phone to look for myself (without showing him) because why in the world would my address be different. Of course he lied but if I couldn’t verify my address on file why would you allow me to withdraw hundreds of dollars from an account? Hmmm get better employees these ppl here are disgusting.

Kyle Barrett: The ATM at this location is not safe. There are regularly people sleeping and hanging out here. I've come across urine, vomit, old food, and more on the floor. I feel sorry for the cleaning people. It's gotten worst since this location has been shut down because of the pandemic. Once a man came up to me at the ATM and was upset that I wouldn't give him money so he tried holding the double doors closed as I left. I've tried repeatedly to reach out to a manager or someone else (I was told they have ambassadors and not managers on site) at this branch. No one follows up. I also tried contacting the corporate number, was told the concerns would be addressed, and again there's no resolution. Micheal asked if I had called the police?? There's no accountability. At this point, I am switching banks. It's clear Capital One does not care about the safety of their customers.

Tyrone Calvin: I was here for the grand opening on Monday the 28th and it was such a pleasure to be greeted by many Capital One staff, who were beyond friendly and helpful. Also, the free orange juice and coffee made it more of a pleasure to come back to this branch.
Response: Some other banks may offer free coffee, but are they serving up quality customer service with a shot of Vitamin C? That's what we thought.^AS

The WonDufful Channel: Disappointed y'all ATMs are out of order. U guys just opened. This wouldn't happen in Virginia. I work in the area. U went from 1 atm down to both. Smh. Definitely was depending on deposit that I couldn't do smh. C'mon yall

Eli: Horrible and very deceptive customer service at this location. Either go to a different bank or close your Bank Account and proceed to a more professional and accommodating Bank

Alivia Blanc: Horrible service. The manager, Manny is extremely prejudice against black people and forces them to jump through hooks for simple account access. I would not at all recommend this branch.

Michael M: where to start....weeeellll first off, overdraft fees gon run ya bout 36.00 even if you have it turned off and a charge comes thru that wasn't supposed to (the company refunded the money but the overdraft was too bad so sad) IF you lose or damage your card you have to go into the office to get it replaced, but wait, first do the paper work pay ten bucks then go home and wait for it by the mailbox in about 12 days. Got a charge that needs to be disputed? NOOOO PROBLEM, just come on down to the office again and fill out some paperwork and see what happens. Need to change your mailing address. NOOO PROBLEM, just come on down to the office and fill out more paperwork. Any problems you have with your account will need to also be dealt with at the specific bank where you opened it. You cant go to united bank uptown if you opened the account downtown...I could go on but you get the idea now I hope.

Michael Johnson: I've been with United Banking since 2008 and United Banking has always given Professional, Knowledgable, Friendly.... Overall " Great " service

Josh Elliott-Mendelsohn: Not a branch location. Seems to be only offices - at least, I couldn't find a branch at this location.

Chuck Prendiville: It was bought out by another bank. Not an M & T location.
