The Mirror: what do users think?
Melissa Escudero
Melissa Escudero: This place has the best vibes! Absolutely love the drinks every time we come. The seating is very comfortable and the lighting set a great tone. The bartenders are super nice. We came right after getting engaged and they even gave us all free shots. Cant complain at all!
JDV22
JDV22: Drinks were pretty poorly mixed. If you’re looking for a neat place with loud music to just kind of vibe, it’s perfect. If you’re looking for well made cocktails, I’d recommend going somewhere else.
Richa Bhatt
Richa Bhatt: This place was really cool in terms of finding it and the atmosphere but other then that it was meh. The whole bar was super dark and it was hard to see anything. The drinks were incredibly mediocre and so was everything else like the bathroom- the bathroom I used had no lock so I had to hold the bathroom stall door while using it. So yeah, besides going to a place that’s behind a mirror, there’s no other pull. It’s a very mediocre place and it is priced like it’s something nicer which is stupid. I would only come back if I had to like I wouldn’t make plans out of my way to go here.
Parker Kelley
Parker Kelley: We went here after a DMV friends event on a Friday night ! It was very packed & due to the space being very small it was hard to move around. The bartenders were busy & took forever to get a drink. The idea behind the bar is neat and interesting but wasn’t worth my time!
Zach Yoder
Zach Yoder: If you’re looking for a speak easy that fits the traditional role of one, this one barely fits the bill. The only thing that this place has similar to other speak easy’s is that it has a hidden entrance. The music is way too loud and the lights are way too dim. This is essentially a club with a fancy entrance.

the Gibson: what do users think?
Jeff Schwamb
Jeff Schwamb: A brilliant speak-easy with bartenders that truly take their craft seriously. The custom mezcal drink was spot on the lighting and atmosphere promoted an escape from the outside world.
A V
A V: Definitely a 4 star experience, not more. Clean, with a nice atmosphere ( music selection was not speakeasy.. more hip hop), and the staff was very nice. However, drinks were not impressive for the price paid. Also, they should describe the drinks better, especially if they have an online menu. Went to 600t on the same night and much better experience
byron subero
byron subero: So my new thing is trying to go to all the speakeasy in the DMV. 6 down many to go. Gibson has a relaxing vibe with a indoor and outdoor seating.
2luvis2live
2luvis2live: This place is so discreet. Once inside, you are totally removed from outside and embraced by the atmosphere which was chill and laid back. Everyone was cool and down to earth. Our bartender was so warm and friendly (Enjoy your upcoming birthday in August Leo). I would definitely visit again. Thanks for a great time.
Paige Sheats
Paige Sheats: This is one of my go to places. I love the vibe and it’s very speakeasy-ish! I also can’t say enough good things about the cocktails! They’re not only delicious but also very unique based on other speakeasies and bars around town! The only negative is it’s hard to get a table if you’re just trying to walk in, so book a reservation in advance.
James Lee
James Lee: Great drinks and beautiful interior. I also recommend ordering your own and letting the bartender be creative. The bar is currently closed (tables only) and service was a bit slow when I went, but still had a good time.
Maya Bryant
Maya Bryant: This speakeasy was tucked away off of U street. The drinks were okay, but the vibe was everything. Very fun for a chill night. Make sure you have a reservation.

O.K.P.B.: what do users think?
Rachele Clegg
Rachele Clegg: This was such a great spot. We went on a holiday Monday after dinner and they were pretty quiet. It’s a tiny speakeasy with great bartenders who are happy to let you order off of their daily-changing menu or to let them know what your drink preferences are so that they can make something fitting. Can’t wait to get back to this beautiful spot!
Felix Torres
Felix Torres: Absolutely one of the best cocktail bars I have ever.... Very skilled bartenders, with a daily changing menu. I would strongly suggest going for the "bartenders choice" and letting them customize a drink for you. Very comfortable place inside and very friendly service. Their drinks are $14 across the board, which for the quality and style of the place is a bargain compared to the many speakeasy-style places that are everywhere. Also, I want the Koala wallpaper in their bathroom.
Jenny Jacobs
Jenny Jacobs: Delicious, ever-changing drinks, incredibly nice and knowledgeable staff, and cool decor. Beyond thrilled to have this in the neighborhood.
Drew Morris
Drew Morris: This Mt Pleasant speakeasy is, simply put, the best cocktail bar in the city. The quartet of bartenders who own the place are like a Spotify of mixology: you get you a fresh new array of cocktails literally every night, or you can tell the waiter your preferences and they’ll literally make your own “discover weekly”-esque cocktail with cool ingredient combinations that are so surprising and good. Everything is $14, which given the unique combinations you can end up with, often feels like a bargain!
Laura Golden
Laura Golden: What a great spot! Wonderful people, great vibe, delicious cocktails! Can’t believe I haven’t heard more about this place. Would definitely recommend it to anyone—a perfect combo of fancy and laid back, and the bartenders absolutely know what they’re doing.
Ignacio Mosquera
Ignacio Mosquera: Amazing date night place. The bartenders are amazing and have great suggestions. Ask them for a drink. Bartenders choice all the way
Elliott Niblock
Elliott Niblock: Is this one of the best cocktail bars in DC? Yes. Is this one of the best cocktail bars on the eastern seaboard? Also yes. Are the people kind, chill, and professional? You get the idea; do it.

Never Looked Better: what do users think?
J. W.
J. W.: I was referred to this place and honestly I have no regrets about going. This cocktail bar has a very exclusive, underground, chic appeal. The bartenders are amazing, the drinks are visually pleasing and strong in all the right ways without it taking from the flavor and the staff is actually friendly. This made birthday a very memorable experience. Thank you Jay Moss for the drinks and Crystal for the conversation loved the vibe.
Arielle H
Arielle H: OMG Foodies, I had my first speakeasy experience this weekend and let me tell you how freakin AMAZING it was ✨🥂 I set my sights on @neverlookedbetterdc, a cocktail bar located in NW DC 📍. Though they don’t offer food, the drinks are made just right, the atmosphere is ‼️, & there’s plenty of diners and restaurants within walking distance (because who doesn’t get the munchies after drowning in cocktails 😅🙈🍽). Staff: 10/10 Drinks: 10/10 - worth every penny ! & the spicy margarita 🏽🌶❤️ Bathroom: I was too busy drinking, forgive me 😅
Logan Gore
Logan Gore: What a cool speak easy! Fun to enter in through an alley, then leave a completely different way! The vibe inside is awesome! Staff and bartenders are nice, music was poppin, seats and standing room available. Cocktails and mocktails were good!
Steven Munnelly
Steven Munnelly: Solid speakeasy feel while being accessible by the public. Stopped in for happy hour. Sure, drinks are pricey but it’s a fun and different experience. The bartender there is a great guy, knowledgeable about his liquors, and interesting to chat with when it’s not super busy. Overall pretty pleased with this place—would have expected slightly higher tier for the prices but still cool given the ambiance.
S. Locke
S. Locke: Child! I didn’t even know this gem existed. I got there around 12:30 AM on a Friday night. Apparently I missed a line—gladly. Because I got there so late in the night, if you aren’t watchful you will miss the address on the door in the alleyway and pass by the door. It’s in the middle of all the doors in the alley. The bartenders were awesome. Also, if you are looking for a boo, he, she, they may be there. Everyone was fine as hell in that place! Lol!
Vaaruni Eashwar
Vaaruni Eashwar: Took a minute to find the door, as it should with any good speakeasy! Loved the vibe, good music (though it got a bit loud at some point), great cocktails - the spicy margarita was 👌And Kit at the bar was awesome - fun personality, very engaging while they made our drinks! Definitely coming back!
Parker Kelley
Parker Kelley: Super cool & interesting place! The entrance was a little sketchy.. no signage and through a weird alley but the inside was very welcoming & the aesthetic was worth it! The drinks are a little on the expensive side but the service was great! The music is decent & plenty of space. All tables were revered when we went so if you have group of 3 or more I would check into reserving a table.
Ciara McAllister
Ciara McAllister: Never looked better is such a vibe. The decor is aesthetically pleasing and the bar tenders are so sweet. Will definitely be coming back!

600t: what do users think?
Mysiki X Valentine
Mysiki X Valentine: First let me start with the best part—the restroom. It’s very clean and cute. If the bathroom isn’t clean, you cannot expect the bar, or glasses to be clean. The drink selection is small but tasty. There are 9 drinks for all types of folks. I did not see a wine of beer list but there maybe one. On the night we visited, there was a live jazz band. It was nice to have live music but it was entirely too loud for a speakeasy. In addition, the center tables (circles) are a bit small with the decorative candle on the middle. Overall this is a nice bar to go to on U street. Do not forget to make a reservation..oh and they charged us $10.00 for just showing up (Repeal Day) this was unclear and not friendly.
Kevin George
Kevin George: Classic coctails and very unique cocktails of there own, this basement bar has amazing atmosphere and great employees. The cocktails are worth the wait as the bartenders cut all the ingredients fresh.
Ricardo M Gonzalez
Ricardo M Gonzalez: Super cozy cocktail bar. Great service, even better drinks. Its great to visit in small groups and have fun. Great location and close tho other places in case you need food after.
Meenu Singh
Meenu Singh: The coziest semi-hidden bar with a beautiful attention to detail, from the fresh herbs and flowers in the cocktails to the wood paneling to the roaring fireplace. The drinks were delicious and special. The whole service team was so kind, and my table of three felt so cared for. Thanks for making an evening with friends feel magical!
Rachel U
Rachel U: First time here and loved it! Very unique, tasty cocktails, excellent service. We had a reservation for Friday night, there is a two hour window for seating.
Natalie Pirrone
Natalie Pirrone: Hands down my favorite bar in DC. Patio is super awesome, staff is really friendly. Cocktails have so much flavor. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
Henrry Palacios
Henrry Palacios: I believe this is our third or fourth time coming here. All the cocktails we’ve had have been great and it’s one of our all time favorite cocktail bars. The service is always great, the vibe is always very calm and comfortable, and the drinks always impress. If you make a trip to DC, you’ll have to make this place a priority and be sure to make reservations beforehand!
Mathew Crichton
Mathew Crichton: A wonderful little speakeasy tucked away on U Street. They have some amazing old fashioneds and shaken cocktails! The sweet potato donuts are also freaking fantastic!
Blake Arrington
Blake Arrington: Very good drinks and even better customer service. Even is you dont like a drink they will switch it out for you Definitely the best old fashioned I ever had and the martini was very good with an extra drink Also if you want something sweet the sweet potato donuts are very good

Franklyn Z
Franklyn Z: Went here 3 years ago and had a blast with their inventive cocktails. But coming back now the drinks were not that interesting and they were overpriced. Service was great but maybe hopefully can have more creative drinks in the future.
byron subero
byron subero: Nice bar with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders.
Mathew Crichton
Mathew Crichton: Amazing cocktails, cool bartenders, and some of the bar music on 14th St! Definitely one of my favorite places to go for a drink.
Jerome Smalls
Jerome Smalls: A speakeasy’s speakeasy. Ambiguous name. No website. Sketchy entryway. But a truly dope lowkey vibe. The “Grey Manhattan” will change your life.
Eric Erwin
Eric Erwin: Drinks were honestly one of the best I ever had...the Gin Pahit was unreal!!!!! Bartender was meh on service, but still worth going for a drink

Anthony Uzodinma
Anthony Uzodinma: The cocktails here are amazing, and that’s because of their unique approach on making well known cocktail staples.
Beth M
Beth M: Honestly I can’t write a review of the bar or cocktails as I never actually got a chance to go inside. I was excited to try this bar with a couple friends and unfortunately there weren’t reservations available for 3 people. So we took a chance since they allow walk ins and went at 6:30pm to try and snag a spot. We were told they were full and the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. No problem. We expected this. We went down the street to grab a drink and I received a text confirming the wait would be about 45 minutes. After over an hour we had finished up down the street and went back to check. Still no spots. Another hour goes by. Nothing. One of my friends has to leave. So there are now only 2 of us. We go back again. It’s now been over 3 hours. I’m told it was taking so long due to our party size (3 people) and it shouldn’t be long now. When I ask if we should wait there he tells me no. Meanwhile they let a couple in from Imperial that I’m sure wasn’t waiting for 3 hours. I receive a new text saying I’m on the wait list. So apparently I’m on a new list for 2 people? And the fact that I’ve already been waiting for 3 hours means nothing. It’s been 4.5 hours and still no text. Needless to say I won’t be attempting to return here. Reservation or not.
Manoja Seneviratne
Manoja Seneviratne: The staff was very passionate and knowledgeable, unique drinks, beautiful space 👌🏽

TexCat
TexCat: Wanted to stop into a bar after a night tour of DC before heading back to our Airbnb. Happened upon Denson Liquor Bar - mightily glad we did! What a great little hidden gem! Friendly, personable staff, great drinks and service. Awesome cozy ambiance. Highly recommend
Benjamin G
Benjamin G: Was visiting DC and wanted somewhere for after dinner drinks on a Friday night. Found this place. A little hidden but worth the walk down. Cool atmosphere, nice vibe and mix of people. The bartenders were great. They both make a mean old fashioned! True mixologists.
Austin Shaheen
Austin Shaheen: Excellent service and the place has a really cool vibe! My fiancé and I were here on a Saturday evening for her birthday and they treated us to a complimentary champagne, very nice touch. We’ll definitely be back and recommend our friends visit here
Dane Fergusson
Dane Fergusson: MUST GO! Walk down the stairs to step back in time to the speakeasy era. Just the setting is worth the trip; but, the drinks are incredible. Add to this the world class bartender Dinesha. Yeah, I said it. World Class! Excellent drinks, suggestions for other drinks, great conversation, asking our preferences to tweak to our tastes, made us feel like we were her only customers... and oh yeah the place got slammed with an overflow crowd... to busy now? No way! She still had time for hugs and pictures, before we left!
Response: Thanks Dane, you rock! All the staff thought you two were great and we all love Denisha too. She's fantastic. Come back and see us soon!
Matt Noble
Matt Noble: What a great spot this is! Very old school and dim lighting, as if you are back in time at a speak easy. Drinks were all great and so was the music. If we are ever in DC again we will be sure to come back to Denson! Highly recommend to stop in for a drink if you haven’t already!
Brendan F
Brendan F: There is something about walking into a below street level bar that brings a feeling of vintage nostaligia. The staff is filled with smiles, conversation and great drink ideas and the food is unique and delicious. It does get crowded but that should tell you about the quality of the place. Definitely worth a visit.

Morris American Bar: what do users think?
Martin Schmidt
Martin Schmidt: nice atmosphere, slightly too much air-con , or we as European are not use it ?.. We ordered 2 espresso martini, they were average, So much vodka , and coffee was not strong enough. For my taste But their original cocktail were Bom !!! Jamaican twist on Manhattan super tasty . La Reina was soooo good , if you live tequila try this . Overall i would definitely go back
Response: Hi Martin! We are ecstatic to hear you found us all the way from Europe-- it was our pleasure having you! Thank you for taking the time to try our selection of cocktails and for this detailed review (we know a cocktail connoisseur when we meet one)! Looking forward to seeing you in the future !
Bradley Popkin
Bradley Popkin: Swanky and cozy bar with two floors. Spent some time here with family and friends. Great cocktail selection and service. We were greeted quickly and everyone was friendly. I really appreciated the full-size Johnnie Walker figure outside lol.
Neil Patel
Neil Patel: The staff are super friendly and accommodating. We ordered off the menu and were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked our drinks. The mocktails and zero proof drinks were great too!
Response: Neil, thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that you had a great experience and we hope to see you again soon!
Andrea Martin
Andrea Martin: Good drinks, good service. It’s across the street from where Google currently shows. Has an outdoor patio that feels much different than the indoor vibe
Response: We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your experience with Morris! Thank you for this great review!
Nirupa P
Nirupa P: Good experience. We did the Halloween special & the drinks were good. We both got 3 drinks each & they were great. Our favorite was Noche de sueno & dia de muertos. Food menu were also limited. We got the devil eggs & they were good.
Rachel Lipton
Rachel Lipton: The space was thoughtfully designed with a great bar but the drinks were a bit of a letdown - certainly not bad but I was expecting something a touch more exciting (I know they rotate monthly so I’ll be back to try some new ones soon) The vibe was also a touch quiet/empty which was a bit of a bummer since we were celebrating but perhaps it would have been better if we were there earlier or later
Adam Pusateri
Adam Pusateri: Morris is without a doubt an absolute gem of a cocktail bar and my personal favorite. The bartenders are not only inventive but also thoroughly well-versed in classics and contemporary drinks. You can tell the whole team is proud of their bar, and it really shows. The seasonal menu is their own impressive creation, but make no mistake, they gladly take requests and offer new suggestions. Inside is a time capsule of a classic bar. The colors, décor, lighting, music – it is the perfect place for relaxing drinks. Outside is shaded and casual, exactly what you want for a group of friends. Other bars even the often lauded “Bests in DC” have fallen short of what Morris is consistently doing here in terms of quality, knowledge, skill, and service. You get way more than what you pay for here. As amazing as it all is, it is not at all stuffy. Everybody is friendly, easygoing, and enjoys what they are doing. This review is long overdue and could not be more well deserved. Morris often surprises, never disappoints, and after all their extra hard work during the pandemic, I cannot wait to sit at the actual bar again. Until then, cheers!
Response: Thank you so much Adam! So glad you enjoyed your experience.
Mohan Sun
Mohan Sun: Our favorite cocktail joint in town! The drinks are top-notch and reasonably-priced. We’ve been to other “good” places that charged $16 for a to-go cup. Morris beats that in so many aspects and it never disappoints. Everyone works there are super nice and knowledgeable. Doug, Ian and Rhine are skillful bartenders who can fix you up with almost any requests. They usually have seasonal cocktail menus and recently added low & non-alcohol drinks which is perfect for a person like me who can’t drink too much. I got Strawberry Kitty last time and it’s sooo good! If you want something refreshing, you NEED to get it! Please support their business. They work hard to stay afloat while continue to innovate great drinks during this difficult time.
Response: Thank you for your review and your support Mohan!

YNJ Consulting
YNJ Consulting: Highly recommend. Especially if you are someone who likes a night cap after a long night out and about. The ambiance is perfect and MATURE. The cocktails were also phenomenal. Absolutely loved the theme as well of this speakeasy. One big flaw is the wait time. We waited close to 45 minutes to an hour and others waited probably longer than us. Not sure how they can fix this problem in the future but it’s such a hidden and lowkey gem.
Mohit Mehtaji
Mohit Mehtaji: Great place to have some amazing cocktails. This place is a speakeasy but now sort of easy to find. It’s in the library section of the Eden hotel and since it gets busy you may have to be on a waitlist to get in. Highly highly recommend this place for some unique craft cocktails.
Desiree Hoffman
Desiree Hoffman: Hands down one of the best bars in the city. From the hostess who greeted me to the bartenders who take pride in their craft. Plus I ended up chatting with a few of patrons up and they were cool people. I will be back for my beloved old fashioned cocktail. And thanks to bartender for starting me off with a traditional cocktail and elevating it to a “weird one.”
Ash James
Ash James: Laurel was an AMAZING waiter. We came here for a birthday and they came out with bubbles and “snacktails”. Drinks were amazing. Definitely come early as lines get long and they wont seat you unless the while party is present. But we will definitely come back! If you cant find it, just ask the hotel staff!
Diana Valentine
Diana Valentine: Definitely one of the coolest spots in the city for awesome vibes and unique cocktails! I unfortunately didn’t get to try their food when I went, as they stopped serving before we got off the wait list and seated. It’s located in the Eaton, an awesome, one-of-a-kind hotel that makes you want to explore every inch of it! Highly recommend!
Brian Michael
Brian Michael: Team here is amazing, drinks creative and delicious, presentation top notch and the bartenders are great people as well. Highly recommended.

Madhusha Sarathchandra
Madhusha Sarathchandra: Not worth the money you spend.... First time I have been here. First of all, menu was a little confusing. Took us a few mins to figure it out. Then they got my order wrong. Asked for a wrap and they made a wrap but nit the one I asked for and didnt notice it untill I pay for it. I have tried a lot of pollo chicken places around and I cant rank the food taste in the top when compare it with other Pollo resturants. Thats why I said this place is not worth the money. Then the sides. Got the Yuca as side and they served 5 pieces(counted) of yuca for $4. Whiskey and beer including cocktails is a nice touch. I wonder how they have this kmuch higher ratings. Surprising.... 2 stars for the cleanliness and quick service. Would not visit again and not recommending....
Response: Thanks for the review Madhusha. Please reach out to a manager at the store and we will try to rectify your bad experience with us!
Marcus R.
Marcus R.: This spot surprised me. I was walking by, and happened to see this out of the corner of my eye. My left-eye--R.I.P. As an out of towner, it was worth a visit. The food was good. Better than most spots that serve Spanish-style food, as this location put the effort in both presentation AND taste.
Response: Thank you so much for the review Marcus!
Victor
Victor: I ordered the quarter chicken meal which comes with two sides. I came for lunch take out, it was pretty quiet here. The chicken was not warm and the rice was not as moist. I did like the seasonings on the rice and yuca. The sauce here is a 5/5. The sauce is what got me through this meal.
Response: Sorry to hear about your experience Victor! Please call the store and ask to speak to a manager. We will be happy to give you another meal.
Lucy Ruderman
Lucy Ruderman: Really tasty chicken, sides, and sauces. Everything we tried was delicious and I feel like you can’t go wrong. Two of us shared a half chicken (comes with two sides) plus a third side and felt like that was enough.
Response: Thanks for the review Lucy !!
Amy Chai
Amy Chai: We went on a Thursday happy hour and it was very very dead, just us and another couple, but i liked a calmer vibe. the bar is located at the back of the chicken restaurant (thru a walk in freezer door) which has amazing food. the bar itself is pretty small but the decorations and lights are so cute.
Response: We appreciate the review Amy!
David Login
David Login: Overall GOOD experience and great drinks. Environment in the back has cool mood lighting and mixed drinks are legit. Good social mix of girls and guys. Bartenders were fun and approachable. Only four out of five stars because it gets easily hot and crowded.
Response: Thanks David!
A Sullivan
A Sullivan: Was excited to try this spot and read good reviews. I ate 2 forkfuls of the chicken and I was done. It wasn’t hot or flavorful. The black beans and rice tasted old. It just didn’t meet my expectations at all, very disappointed. I won’t be going back or recommending.
Response: Amelia, thank you for feedback. Our apologies for your bad experience. Please give the store a call and speak to a manager we want to make this right.
Jaymee McGraw
Jaymee McGraw: The food is delicious! The chicken is moist tender and flavorful. The soupa was just the right amount of spicy and had amazing flavors. I love cilantro and if I was a local I would be a regular at this restaurant.
Response: Thank you Jaymee!

Manifest: what do users think?
Paul G
Paul G: This review is for the coffee shop and overall vibe. I love this place so much. I’m excited to keep coming back and getting to know this awesome community addition more! The iced mocha was especially delicious and made with cocoa powder rather than just a syrup which is next level!
Taylor Friedman
Taylor Friedman: This review is only for the retail/cafe side. I was very impressed by the aesthetic of the store. I love that it’s a barber/ clothing store/cafe all in one! They have a very nice curated selection of high end brands, some I’ve never even heard of or seen. I love places that carry Rick Owens. Very hard brand to find in store. Had a latte from the cafe as well. Service was friendly and attentive. I ended up buying a Rick Owens tee. Just a heads up, they only do store credit or exchange up to 7 days from purchase with receipt and tags intact. I know a lot of boutiques have this policy but I feel like you should be able to return something if you haven’t worn it and have the tags and receipt. Other than that, really cool hidden gem in adams Morgan that’s worth checking out.
Ryan Beachley
Ryan Beachley: This is hands down the best experience. The moment you walk in you can feel the atmosphere and it truly feels like a community experience. The customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced and they are truly invested into getting to know you. There aren’t many places where everyone you talk too remembers your name and makes you feel at home. Words aren’t enough you need to go and experience it! My son and I both got our hair cut at manifest… by the way it was his first hair cut. Kristian was amazing and so patient with my son. As for me I’ve never felt so refreshed the experience was amazing Eric is top notch I’d highly recommend going for some relaxation and great conversation!
Sherry Goode
Sherry Goode: The store atmosphere is funky, eclectic, sophisticated newness that is well needed in this area. Utilizing barber services, in-house coffee Cafe, trendy upscale designers retail offerings, along with a second floor speakeasy and finally a furnished member only access to a two bedroom, two bath apartment on the top floor. I found the lighting and decor subtle and inviting. The staff and owners are very knowledgeable and versatile in each areas, accomplished through cross training. Their attention to the quality staff, members, and the diverse clientele are a attribute to the owners vision of perfection. I can see many great things happening for them and the city as it evolves. Many blessings to you all. Peace and longevity.
Phil Marcus
Phil Marcus: Phenomenal cut from start to finish! Professionalism and hospitality are top notch and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Manifest is a gem and an experience I strongly recommend. I’ll be back VERY soon!Services: Haircut, Shave, Curly hair, Beard trim, Shape up
James Greathouse
James Greathouse: I got "the supreme" hair- and beard-cut and let me tell you. It was like a 17-course meal at a Michelin starred restaurant (in the best way). The wash, the hot scented towel, essential beard oils, not to mention what you come for, the laser-precision haircut... had me looking and feeling 10 years younger. I just love what they stand for, the way they greet you in and chat with you while giving you a drink at the bar while you wait. The interior and exterior is a work of art. It elevates the craft--and as the customer, it elevates the mind. I will keep going!! Services: Scissor cut , Long haircut , Buzz cut , Beard conditioner , Straight razor shave , Beard trim
Paige Rajala
Paige Rajala: Talk about an incredible experience at Manifest. My fiancé needed a last minute cut before a wedding and Manifest did not disappoint. The ambience was fresh and fun, but the people really set the tone: professional and attentive. The drinks at the coffee bar were so good I didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be back to Manifest soon as it’s the best cut my fiancé’s ever had.

barmini by José Andrés: what do users think?
Natalie Caldwell
Natalie Caldwell: We were in DC for the weekend, looking for a place to get drinks before our later dinner reservation. There is a reason barmini has the reputation it does, and our experience was more than we could have hoped for. The attention to detail was both expected and impressive - the care and perfection that went into each crafted concoction was amazing. We described to our waiter what our flavor profiles were and he made us both personalized (and perfect) cocktails. We topped off our before dinner drinks with the brioche. *Chefs kiss* and that butter…I’d eat a whole loaf. Can’t wait for the chance to come back.
Kennith “Conley” Coleman
Kennith “Conley” Coleman: We were able to enjoy the cocktail flight. The experience was amazing and all the cocktails were so delicious. The service was excellent. We also tried the grilled cheese appetizer and it was beyond good.
Triloka Shanbhag
Triloka Shanbhag: For those of you wondering if the long waitlist and tough-to-get-in reservation system renders this place worth going to or not, I’m here to tell you it is utterly and absolutely worth the wait. The experience of being at Barmini and having their cocktail flight is unparalleled. From the sophisticated palette displayed in the variety of cocktails to the servers that pay you copious amount of attention, every little detail is planes to the tee. At times you may feel you are transported to be amidst a lab experiment but the drinks made at your table using liquid Nitrogen are delicious and a spectacle to watch. We also tried the brioche bun, it absolutely melts in your mouth. Having been to a few other Jose Andrés restaurants in the DC area and always being pleasantly surprised with my experiences, this certainly keeps the streak going. Can’t wait to try Minibar by Jose Andres too.
Mukesh Bhakta
Mukesh Bhakta: Just Wonderful. Vegetarian food paired with drink for me and a la crate for my wife. The dishes can be substituted with non vegetarian. We had 6 small plates and were full by the end of 2 hours. Each item was superb and we did add Australian Truffels to 4 dishes which elevated them substantially. It is definitely worth it for the experience. It is expensive but we enjoy these throes of restaurants very much. Staff was precise and excellent. Cocktails were unique and superb.
DeJuae
DeJuae: Food presentation was some of the best I’ve seen here in DC. It has 2 Michelin Stars. The intimate setting and couches make for a nice date night!
James King
James King: Amazing food. Fantastic service. Highly recommended.Presentation is very elegant. Decor is intimate. Call ahead.

Cloak & Dagger: what do users think?
Katrina Marie
Katrina Marie: This bar has a cool vibe! Good music and lots of dancing 10/10. The bartender was exceptional! However, towards the end of my night, my friends and I returned to this bar after going next door and we were met with a security guard (who said his name was Kyle) who took it upon himself to throw his arm around me and tell me that he would let me back in based on if I was to give him my number……cringy I know After going back and forth with him about why I could come back in and my two friends couldn’t, he put his hands on my back and gently shoved me out the door. I understand closing times and not being able to accommodate people if there’s only 20-30 minutes left in the night, but NEVER has any male security guard thrown his arm around me and then shoved me out the door. Unprofessional and super uncomfortable energy. It was the WORST way to end a great night here
Aminah Imani
Aminah Imani: DJ was lit. I came for a comedy show hosted by Rallo, it was a good vibe. The venue is nice. I would come back for sure!
Sharetta King
Sharetta King: Cloak & Dagger made my VIP birthday party an experience to never forget! Everyone had an amazing time and we have future plans to celebrate there again. Sonny and his staff were phenomenal. A member along with security checked on us often. The service was great and always on time and they knew what we wanted before having to ask. The atmosphere was really fun and the DJ could not have been better. Sonny also took the time to hang out with the party and conversed with each of us much longer than other club owners had.
C Lee
C Lee: Fun and casual nightlife with a great DJ and good music! We got table service and it was perfect. The area is small but it worked out well for our group. Service was excellent - she was present without being overbearing and was accommodating about splitting the check. The dance floor was packed with people ready for fun and dancing. It was cozy and comfortable - definitely not a pretentious spot. We went for a bachelorette and they did everything to make it a fun night for our soon-to-be bride. The owner was friendly and helpful. And the DJ and host were friendly and really good at getting the crowd going.
Christina Tang
Christina Tang: One thing I love about Cloak & Dagger is that you will always have a great time. The music is always hype, the crowd is filled with positive vibes and high energy. The dj at Cloak & Dagger really knows what type of music to play to please a diverse crowd. The bartenders always makes my drinks perfectly! Out of all the clubs on U st. , I know that if I want to go somewhere that has good music, good alcohol, and a good crowd, Cloak & Dagger is the place to go. Not to mention, the owners are super sweet and genuine. They will always take care of you and make sure you have a fun time. Anytime I have been to Cloak & Dagger, I would stay until 2-3am without realizing it, because I would be having such a great time that I would forget to check my phone. 10/10 would recommend!
Rajit Sarkar
Rajit Sarkar: This is a bar on U St. The drinks are expensive, but not very good. Would not recommend to anyone.
Royce Glover
Royce Glover: Ya I have to give it up to my man John ,his club is great good vibes. I have done alot of work for him in the past electrical, floor tile, paint, put in new fans
nia harley
nia harley: Came here for NYE and won’t come back . The advertised dj was not there and the bartenders are lazy and rude .Shots are over priced and gratuity is automatically included which the bartenders did not deserve .
Yvonne Truong
Yvonne Truong: I NEVER write reviews but let me tell you the place is amazing! Filled with good energy and a lovely atmosphere. Every time I am there the owner (Sonny) always makes sure I have a good time.

Jack Rose Dining Saloon: what do users think?
Oceanie De Silva
Oceanie De Silva: What an Amazing Whiskey Collection!! We had a night out of drinks here with our friend who was visiting us and we absolutely loved the place and the collection of whiskeys and bourbon and so many other stuff! The bar tenders are so friendly and knowledgeable about everything! I said I love fruity cocktails with either Gin or Vodka and instant cocktails were created! Must visit in DC
Meg Salocks
Meg Salocks: One of the best collections of Scotch Malt Whisky Society on the east coast, along with lots of other unique bottles with a real range in prices. The staff are eternally nice and thoughtful, and will happily help you find the right pour for your tastes. A date night favorite if whiskey is your thing.
Anindita Barman
Anindita Barman: This is a very popular place I could tell from the crowd that was in the restaurant even after the kitchen had closed. We had the "Jack Rose Barrel Picks" flight, the "Time in a Bottle" cocktail, whiskey Wings and fries. The whiskey selection in the flight was great, the cocktail and the wings were good as well, however, the fries were not seasoned or salted at all. Service was good but the host could have done better. He just stood there without greeting or anything so we were not sure if he was part of the staff. Upon asking if he worked there, he said he did after which we asked for a table and he led us to one. :/ Parking can be a hassle as the restaurant is in the heart of DC. There is street parking but finding a spot is up to luck.
Gregg Caldwell
Gregg Caldwell: Have been here two times and the service has been excellent and the bourbon knowledge has been on par. Not sure how long it would take a server to know what liquor they have and the ability to speak about each bottle? Place gets loud as it gets later in the night. Make sure to check out the upstairs area.
Kevin Raisch
Kevin Raisch: As a whisk(e)y fan, I had to visit Jack Rose while in DC and it was awesome. Kyle, our whisky advisor, perfectly crafted a whisky flight based on my preferences and provided very detailed and interesting facts about the story and science behind each bottle. In addition to the 3,000 unique bottles of whisky they have food, beer, cocktails and two floors of space (including outdoor space) so it’s perfect even for those who don’t want whisky.
Larry Miller
Larry Miller: Over 2600 different Whiskies in their inventory. Great selection of rare whiskey. Great cocktails, service and food. This was a busket list bar for me. Itcwas the worth the trip.
Michael McDaniel
Michael McDaniel: Truly a must-go place for bourbon and whiskey lovers. For starting at only $28, you’ll get to experience 3 bottles tasting with an excellent background on each bottle by well-knowledgeable and passionate servers. The second floor is open air with different corners to experience.

Off the Record: what do users think?
Ariel Aviles
Ariel Aviles: We loved this hidden bar, just a perfect "speak easy" located in front of the White House. Decor is very fancy, lighting is dark, all red walls with caricatures of politicians. Bartender was friendly, and we got some great cocktails. Perfect the end of a date, nice cousy space for great conversation and drinks.
Kimberly Giang
Kimberly Giang: Came here for a light snack and drink before dinner. It was very crowded during Presidents Day weekend but we managed to find a 2 top table. Loved the cozy old fashioned lounge atmosphere. Even though it was insanely busy, our server managed to be very helpful and attentive. He did a great job running around the whole bar by himself. I did not get his name but the receipt said Vlad on it. He definitely deserved a shout out! My husband enjoyed his drink and I liked the soup!
Karen Riegler
Karen Riegler: What can I say? Amazing, amazing, amazing!Daughter took us on our visit to DC. Pear martini is oh so yummy! Lobster rolls. Potato croquettes , wedge salad! The staff is incredible! Can’t say enough about the experience! Must go
Paola Pritchard
Paola Pritchard: Very old school vibes and men in suits. The drinks are good and the staff is friendly. Had the potatoes coquette with red pepper sauce that was so good.
Sylvia P
Sylvia P: Iconic bar. The drinks were outstanding! The waiter placed coasters based on our political preferences, these are cartoon images of iconic government figures seen on the walls.
Sagar Wadgaonkar
Sagar Wadgaonkar: Great bar. Cozy underground feel right across from the White House. Bartenders are very skilled and make great drinks. Drinks are expensive but that comes with the territory.
Steve Otten
Steve Otten: My wife and I visited this place as a potential “speak easy” bar with some historical context connected to the Hay-Adams on Saturday 5/28/22 at approximately 10:30pm. We sat at the bar closest to the door. Eventually, we were given menus without any greeting or pleasantries. I ordered a Blanton’s straight and my wife a glass of wine. We advised the bartender it was my wife’s birthday and asked if he wouldn’t mind snapping a quick photo. He told us “he didn’t have time for that, and will get to us when he has a chance”. Mind you, this is a bar in DC during a holiday weekend and we easily walked in and found seats because of the lack of patrons. This clearly is of no surprise given the service. We actually happened to see his POS Home Screen and noticed 6 total tabs…. Six. The bartender eventually asked some wait staff behind us to take our photo which we declined. I asked for my check and the bartender told the other bartender “see this is what I’m talking about” and the took the next 10 minutes getting our bill in a folio. We both left our full drinks in disgust. From this point forward, I will advise all of my colleagues, friends, and family to never visit this venue. This was easily my worst experience of any caliber location and that bartender was a disgrace at best. I’m sad I wasted my time to visit, and even more so to type this review. I hope to whomever comes across it, that I saved you the time and money from the looming disappointment.

Lost & Found DC: what do users think?
seanjohn Thomas
seanjohn Thomas: Nice Venue ... Boring atmosphere .... Boring beer ... Bartender does not even know what they are serving from craft beer menu ... COVID Claimed.anothe business ... Sad
Robert Jacoby
Robert Jacoby: Underwhelming bar...even though the drink list looks pretty good. Loud bar, somewhat divey. I was definitely served the wrong beer, although didn’t have time to question it because the bartenders are very inattentive. Had high hopes for this one because it looked cool from the outside, but they fell short. (Not going for lower than 3 stars because if you like the divey, loud scene, you may have a different opinion.)
Denis Blondeel
Denis Blondeel: Good bar, friendly people. Only bar we returned twice during our stay in DC
Manuel Valverde
Manuel Valverde: Great place to hang out, spacious with an outdoor area.
B Josie
B Josie: My boyfriend went to Lost and Found on Saturday afternoon before I went back with him the next day. He sat out front. He was smoking a cigar while they served him a drink. If it was not allowed, he would’ve understood but clearly this was okay. So, I tagged along with him the next day. We sat out front smoking cigars as we watched several other people sit at tables smoking cigarettes. They were not patrons. Someone from the bar walked over to us 30 minutes later, letting us know we can’t smoke here. It’s not allowed. It was clearly allowed for the OTHER people that had been smoking but we were told something different I guess. I explained to him we wouldn’t even be here if my boyfriend was told the day before that it wasn’t allowed. He never did give me a response when I asked why it wasn’t a bother for the waiter the day before -_-. I wasn’t trying to step on anyone’s toes but I had to explain how there had been several people smoking here before us that have an affiliation with the art gallery next door. The security guard who works at the art gallery even told us it has NEVER been an issue. And he’s been working there long enough to know that. Clearly it just wasn’t okay for US since we weren’t white. I would never come here again and I’ll let everyone else know not too as well.
Response: Thank you for your review. We do have a non-smoking policy on our patios, but as owners we take responsibility for not communicating this effectively enough to our staff. We apologize for the inconvenience and that you had a negative experience at our bar. We hope you'll give us another chance in the future.

Christopher Yuen
Christopher Yuen: I was in town for a business meeting and I took a few friends out to this bar on a whim and we had a blast! The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were unique and delicious! I had so much fun I ended up leaving my blazer at the bar. I called the manager Graham a few days later and he mailed it back to me all the way to Connecticut. He’s awesome and this place is too!!!!!
Response: Thanks Christopher, it's our pleasure to host you and your friends!
Annie
Annie: Cool bar with a chill vibe. Came here on a Monday night at 630 and there were only 2 other groups. Not the typical DC bar. There are a few tables and the bar to sit at. The cucumber mule was really good!
