The Pub & The People: what do users think?

Ethan Z: Great Restaurant!! This Restaurant is in the city area and offers indoor and outside seating!! The menu is rather small but the food and drinks were great!! The wait staff were friendly and professional!! The restaurant was also clean and well presented. The bathrooms are coolly decorated too with people sending pictures in of there family pets in to be featured on the wall. Overall great!

Becky Gomez: Such a great spot for a lonely, taveling vegetarian! 😂 Bar service was superb and a delightful vibe. Great beer selection. Perfect shishitos 🌶️ and tempura cauliflower!

AJ Hendricks: Pub and the People is our favorite outdoor spot in Bloomingdale. The beers they have on tap are great, and the food (specifically, the Black Bean burger and "The Heidi" Fried Chicken sandwich) is very solid. The tempura cauliflower sauce is also amazing. Matt, the manager, is very friendly and just a welcoming face to see when you come in. This radiates through the whole staff. The happy hour specials are awesome, and run for most of the day on the weekends. Enjoy!

Parker Kelley: Very great experience here ! We’ve passed this place numerous times and I’ve always said I wanted to try it. So, we finally did ! I ordered the Heidi chicken sandwich which was very tasteful. It came with a side of fries which were also very good. The service was great - 3 or 4 people continuously came to check on us. I’d definitely eat here again.

Bobbi DeAnda: Such a great brunch spot! The outdoor patio is pup friendly (and the bathroom inside is a must see for dog lovers haha). The biscuits and gravy with fried chicken was TO DIE FOR. So yummy! Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Callum Wayman: A great local pub for people in Eckington and Bloomingdale. The pub offers a great selection of beers, wine, and cocktails as well as an excellent food menu (try the tempura cauliflower, chicken sandwich, and the fries). In the winter they offer group seating around large fire pits for small gatherings. I found that to be a huge boon when trying to gather friends outdoors while being mindful of COVID during the winter. The staff are nice and helpful.

Amy Burdon: Had dinner and played trivia - food menu was fairly short but with lots of tasty items - I enjoyed the curry wings and gazpacho. Staff were friendly, happy hour drinks were a good deal. All positives!

Union Pub: what do users think?

Richard Mahaffey: Another very nice venue and very popular happy hour gathering place. Patriots are very friendly and happy. Also employees appear to be happy and seem to love their job and the people that come there...

Ren Jax: Any place with sweet potato fries is already thumbs up for me. Aside from that, the staff was present, and friendly. The food was seasoned just right, and I loved the portions served. We sat on the patio around lunchtime, which looked like it was used for extra storage space in some sections. A little crowded, the tables and chairs could probably be arranged to better utilize the space, or just use less of them in the space.

Xenon Booth: Great outdoor space for those not ready for indoor mingling yet. Remember to pack your proof of vaccination and photo ID (not on phone). Drinks are reasonably priced though service was a little slow.

Emily Smith: Definitely check out Union Pub! The bartenders were so sweet and the food was just awesome. Really great atmosphere both outside and in the back at the bar. Check it out asap!

Wet Dog Tavern: what do users think?

Frank Gorman: Great patio, super friendly staff, cheap beer and an awesome projector situation to watching games. A++ neighborhood bar.

Alison Neary: I can’t say enough good things about this place. 1. Awesome beer selection 2. Board games and corn hole to keep you entertained 3. DOGS! As the name suggests (minus being wet) dogs are welcome here on the front patio. You can come to drink, socialize and meet new neighborhood dogs. 4. Chill Vibe - it’s so relaxing and comfortable here - not stuffy at all 5. Winter friendly. If you do come in the fall/winter months, they’ll still have the back patio open - it’ll be tented with heated lamps 6. THE BURGERS. Oh my goodness Mélange Burgers. This would be number one on my list, but I wanted to save the best for last. Sometimes, I just come here to eat a burger because it’s so good - I crave it. My mouth is watering as I write this just thinking about it. I rave about this burger to everyone I meet, and when I finally bring them to try it, they’re speechless with how good it is - they end up ordering a second one because it’s so good. The menu is limited (three selections and sometimes a he has a special) but that’s all you need. The burger just melts in your mouth with every bite. I had to google the chef to learn more about this burger after my first experience, and I learned that he studied culinary arts in France and formerly worked at Michelin-starred Caviar Russe in New York. This guy brings those rich flavors from his French culinary background and incorporates them into his burgers. I don’t know how he does it, but the way he combines flavors is incredible. You will not be disappointed by this burger. And if you’re a slightly picky eater like me, they’ll take off the tomato and onion for you.

Chris Hauge: I liked the outdoor bar area quick service, ample room to visit with patrons and share "Dog Stories". Liked the Bar Games and the vibe of this place.

Matt: Good beer selection! The wooden bar was pretty cool too.

Kirwan’s on the Wharf: what do users think?

Abhinav: Food: 3/5 Ambience:4/5 Service: 3.5 /5 The patio of this place on the wharf is pretty cool. We went there just because of that. The food was very mediocre for the prices they charge. We went around 9:15am, we had to ask for the menu twice, ask the waiter to bring cutlet after food was served. We were give only one menu card for a table of three. I guess the waiter was tired for the day but nevertheless expected better than that.

Kyle D: Cool place at the Wharf. Nice atmosphere, however the food was just okay. I’ve had better fish and chips before (the breading fell off the fish and didn’t seem to be seasoned as well as it could). The crab cake appetizer was very good, however.

Paul LaVigne: Kirwans on the wharf is located right at the waterfront and is a good place to go if you have a hankering for Irish pub food. The location is excellent, and the interior is decorated very nicely, but the back room Bar area was exceedingly warm. That would be ok on a cool evening, however it was 90+ degrees when we went in and they’re looking to get relief from the heat. The bartender/waitress who served us was very nice and did a great job of making us feel comfortable. The food was superb as well. I had the bacon and cabbage meal which consisted of pork loin, bacon, cabbage and I opted for the sweet potato fries. It was one of the best pub meals I’ve had. My wife had the lamb burger with colcannon mash. She said it was the best burger and mashed potato dish she’s ever had.

catch_hug: Great for beers and a quick bite. Waiters seem all very good trained and attentive. Food was spiced dezent and authentically, even though the tuna poke (wich btw is not what you are serving) was way too much sesame. Local craft beers on tap, try the sour.

Sam D: Stopped here to avoid the humid day. Great atmosphere and cool a/c. I grabbed a Chicken Pot Pie and it was the best crispy crust and chicken was on point. Highly recommend 10/10

Elizabeth T.: We stopped in here for a few drinks after a free concert and we’re happy with the prices considering the area. We stayed for a few appetizers and I honestly wasn’t that impressed. It did it’s job with curbing my hunger but it was enough for us to choose to go somewhere else for dinner. They sat us quickly and the waitress was very attentive to our needs and brought out the food quickly.

The Brighton: what do users think?

Kelly Hyer: Different take on food and drinks! Open seating, order everything at the bar. Pay ahead. You get a table # and food brought out to you. I hand a house made summer shandy and it was delicious. Kids liked their fish+chips and chicken tenders. My veggie burger was fab as well.

Brandon DePalo: Good food, great service, good atmosphere. We stopped here for lunch and drinks. The drinks were good (a bit weak, but tasty). Food was good. I had the chicken curry and it was great, and a perfect portion for lunch. My wife had the fish and chips and there was only 2 little fish pieces. Prices are typical for DC, expensive.

Caleb Newman: Cocktails are a bit pricey and the lack of a happy hour is disappointing. Atmosphere is good with a great location for river and people-watching. The crab dip is a must-try and the pairing of naan chips is excellent. Good service and polite staff!

Chrissie Powell: Yummy food, great music and awesome service. Our bartender, Quinn was amazing—it was packed on St Patty’s Day weekend (Saturday) but he was so attentive and friendly. The hostess was great too. Great vegetarian options!

The Dubliner Restaurant: what do users think?

H: I have never had a sublime turkey burger until I went here. Half a pound patties on toasted brioche buns with a side of thick cut fries. Great spot to hit a spot for pub food. The fries were a tad overly seasoned for my taste but I was thoroughly impressed by the burger of the day and the bison burger. Okay service. Restaurant is connected to a hotel in the back. Outdoor patio seating available. Nice atmosphere even though music was a bit too loud at times to converse.

Samar Al Kobrossy: Great place! The food is tasty and flavorful. The portions are big. The decoration is amazing. The waiters are attentive and can give you tips on how to navigate your way around the city. You can sit down, relax, and enjoy your food while listening to some beautiful Irish songs.

Kelly Hyer: Great local choice. Fabulous service and really great food. When in an Irish spot, must have the fish and chips. Seasoned fries- yum. Sooo good, highly recommend. Pretzel stix appetizer delish. Nice kids options too 👌 🌭 🍟

Brett Daviau: Breakfast was great. Salmon bagel with all the fixings. Poor server was trying her best to handle the whole shop by herself. Hope she can get some help. Delicious.

Bobbi DeAnda: AMAZING SERVICE!!! Food was ok, but the service was amazing. So friendly. So fast. So responsive. I actually left my sunglasses and someone ran them out to me!!! The French fries are AMAZINGGGGGG, but the rest of the food was just ok. Fish and chips, fish ok. Burger, ehh. I ordered the burger medium and it was well done. Probably a great spot for drinks and snacks, but wouldn’t go for lunch again. For drinks and French fries, YES!

craig mossinger: This is an absolute must for lunch! Service is quick and friendly! Fish n chips and the Irish Rueben are phenomenal.

Steve Meier: Great place, and of course what do you order at an Irish Resturant? Fish & Chips and it was probably the best I have ever had. Some of my coworkers were Shepherd Pie fans and a couple others were more traditional and had a Chicken Sandwich. The common theme was everyone was happy with their meal. Service was great and atmosphere was pleasant.

The Lucky Bar: what do users think?

Saif Al-Alawi: This is the official supporters bar for Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United. They offer some local IPA and I recommend the 3 Stars if you love your simcoe hops. The bathroom upstairs is a work out but clean. Glad I hit it early before those United fans stunk it up.

Joe Joemer: The breakfast was excellent, the staff was very nice, and the rates were fair. Fantastic collection of draft beers chosen by a beer expert.

Samantha Elizabeth: After being rejected by Decades nightclub, my boyfriend suggested Lucky Bar for drinks. I liked how dices of different sizes were mounted within the bar counter. When we sat at the bar, at first we had to wait to place a drink order. I asked for a drink menu and the bartender Shannon asked what kind of drinks I liked. They had three types of ciders - Magners, Woodchuck, and Angry Orchard. I ended the night with an Angry Orchard.

Geoffrey Fleming: Excellent bar, good atmosphere for sports and good on prices for both food and drink. Ordered a Philly cheese steak and it was delicious. Great selection of beers and food. Definitely recommend for anyone around the area looking for a good sports bar and excellent service. The bar staff were excellent, especially the lady Shannon who took care of us all night.

Michael Wiredu: The atmosphere is electric win lose or draw. Great place for Gunner fans. And the food is very good.

Todd Boppell: Great place to catch an Arsenal game! Staff is super friendly, breakfast was great, and prices are reasonable! Awesome draft beer selection curated by someone who knows beer.

Skanbass: Good sport bar. I went there a lot during the African soccer cup. One of the only bar that passes the games.

The Midlands Beer Garden: what do users think?

Karen Elise: Our plane arrived early and the Airbnb wasn’t quite ready so we brought our stuff and chilled here. The smell of the food was amazing! We enjoyed the beer, the atmosphere, the food! A wonderful experience

Casey McAllister: We had a great time at the beer garden here. A lot of great beers on on tap and just a fun environment overall definitely will be back.

India Lindsay: Fun casual beer garden with a lively environment and solid drinks. Great beer selection with gluten free options. Lots of tables with both indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a Saturday

Jessica Corley: The courtyard is a great place to hang out in the afternoon. There are plenty of beers on the list, and it seems like there are new ones added every once in a while. My only complaint was a table nearby was blowing cigarette smoke in our direction, pretty unusual for DC bars.

Chad Robinson: Great selection of local beers, imports and ciders. Good food, fast service, friendly staff and excellent outdoor seating when the weather is being cooperative. Solid place to grab some brews with friends.

The Dew Drop Inn: what do users think?

Caroline Fernandez: I stopped by the dew drop Inn after taking a long walk through the Metropolitan branch trail to see the mirrors from the DC walls event. The dewdrop in was nice and low-key and the vibe that I was going for after a long walk of being in the sun. They drink when you was not incredibly expensive but had all the key types of drinks you’re looking for including some fun mixed drinks unique to the location. The menu requires a QR code scan so make sure that your phone is charged. There’s also some food on site however on the weekends you have to order at the food truck rather than through the bar. If you get a chance to check this place out, try their DC Brau collaboration.

Christopher and Heather Cole: The atmosphere is top notch. This is our favorite bar to visit when we are feeling celebratory. They have friendly staff, delicious drinks and epic music. We really enjoy sitting out on their large outdoor deck.

Ashley Robertson: Such a fun, chill spot off the beaten path. Great pit stop near the Metropolitan Branch Trail. There was a food truck parked nearby and quick service for drinks. Walk further down the trail and you can make a 2nd stop at City-State Brewing.

Richard Soler: Great atmosphere in here. The music has always been good. The energy was so contagious and we had a blast here. Would come back again soon.

Luis Zaldivar: Loved this chill spot. They seem to have different vibes going on depending on the day. I dropped in for country and quality whisky. Service was very laid back and efficient.

Marc Laplante: Hidden gem. Great place to hang out with friends in a whimsical atmosphere (inside) or a large patio outside.

Barkhaus: what do users think?

jason mcnatt: I have been coming here since it opened the beer menu is always on point and the food is fresh made to order. The best chicken wings in the region and fries are allways crunchy. My dogs come home exhausted from the play. Really nice place to hangout, and meet new people. I have great conversations with staff and the patrons. I highly recommend this place with or without a dog.

Janay McIntosh: What a great place! The staff were attentive and helpful. If it’s your first visit they will walk you through everything. I made a reservation for a few people and they reserved tables in their outdoor dining area for us. We were able to enjoy our food while watching our dogs play. Well a few of them couldn’t keep their eyes off of us while we ate as you see in the pictures but a few of our pups managed to tough it out and stayed on the dog side until we were done eating. FYI your dog can be unleashed in the enclosure but they have to be leashed in the area where people eat. Overall it was a great experience and much nicer than the traditional dog park. Definitely a great place to meet your friends with dogs and have a drink and a meal.

Rich Loosle: Can’t stay away from this business. Owners and staff are so friendly. Dogs absolutely love it. Luckily this place exists for those who don’t even have dogs …like me….to come visit for great food and drink options while enjoying watching pups play …Barkhaus is much more dog focused while keeping a modern vibe …..The design allows dogs to release their energy…. But owners are still able to supervise them …..and the on leash areas help control the chaos that sometimes comes with having dogs combined with a restaurant. Love it all around.

Chris Drudick: Overall a great place, the staff is very attentive, the drink selection is a good balance, the food is really good and tasty. Love how you have to register your dog and prove that they are vaccinated, gives you a peace of mind while letting your dog play. My only wish is that it was just slightly more spacious outside to let the dogs run more and also that the guests are more attentive to their dogs going to the bathroom. Multiple times there were times where people just didn’t care and didn’t pick up their dog’s waste. With all that said we will definitely be back.

Mike Park: It’s a wonderful place for dogs to play and run around, and for hoomans to meet new people and relax watching dogs play. Also the food is incredible! We usually go with a burger and a hot dog, and to me this is the best burger I’ve had anywhere (and I am a huge burger aficionado). Definitely worth a visit, you won’t regret.

Davina T: a place for your doggos to make other doggo friends as you kick back and enjoy food and drink?! fell in love with the place immediately! also super friendly and helpful staff. other dog parents were as watchful (as they should be) so no rogue or unsupervised rowdiness. yummy food (k-wings were crispy and fries were truffley) and cold beer. YUP

Ursula McNamara: I absolutely LOVE Barkhaus! Great food, friendly staff, and lots of fun events. Even more fantastic are how eager they are to work with local pet organizations to host fundraising and adoption events.

Jon Moro: Great place to hang with our pup so he can run around off leash and meet new friends. We’ve been coming since the first weekend Barkhaus opened and absolutely love it!

Ivy and Coney: what do users think?

Kim A. Linonis: Lived the upper deck. Roof opens. Plenty of heaters for the up coming colder months. Decent enough selection of beers and whiskeys. Awesome deep dish pizza. Great staff.

Avinash Maniam: Great value, just good vibes. Both the inside and outside bars👍🏾 Asked for hot sauce, the bartender didn’t have to accommodate me but he went the extra mile and found some to go with the delicious curly fries. The place to unwind and meet a friend.

Alex Lafond: $6 Miller Lite and shot of Four Roses Whiskey. Malort. Detroit style pizza. Hot Dogs. This place is a go-to if you want a taste of the mid-west. Hot Dogs and Pizza are single handedly my favorite. As a Central New Yorker who likes to think he knows what wings are, Ivy and Coney absolutely hits the mark.

Kathryn Brewer: Awesome chill space with open air back bar. Fantastic staff! Food is incredible, their cook Luis, awesomely fast to get things out even when the place is packed.

Nathan Xiao: My favorite place in the neighborhood. Great Chicago / Detroit dive bar with cheap drinks, great food, good vibe. Make sure you try the malort

Logan Tavern: what do users think?

Nomad USA: Super chill neighborhood tavern. The host there is generally pretentious and cold. I’ve had this issue getting seated at the LT in the past. Their hosts is is far from friendly as is imaginable. Even with the place completely empty, getting a booth probably requires a some type of cash payoff. The servers are super chill and helpful. Menu is great. Wide variety of appetizers and entrees. I had the BBQ Korean wings and the LT burger with truffle fries. The LT burger was just a buck more, truffle fries 2 bucks more, all super tasty and perfect medium rare. They have little alcove by the bar, great for people watching, and the requisite long bar for a casual lunch or dinner. Bathroom. 6/10 for cleanliness.

Matthew Cook: Very good food. Plenty of menu variety so everyone should be able to find something. Including some decent vegetarian dishes. Good cocktail and beer selection. Extremely friendly staff and very efficient.

Jay Vizcarra: LGBTQ+ friendly with great eats! I had one of the famous cheeseburgers on the menu which was super tasty. Usually hopping with great people eating there. Centrally located with a pleasant neighborhood walk surrounded by other places to eat in the area.

Darnice Ward: Logan Tavern was a great choice for an after graduation celebration. None of us had ever been to Logan Tavern as we are from out of state. In our party of 14 only 2 of our party members were from the area, and they had never been either. The did not have a table on Open Table to seat all of us so I reserved several tables and hoped they could seat us near one another. I called and talked to someone who said they would and they OVER delivered and seated us together!!! Our food was delicious and each person was happy with their selection. Although the menu is not extensive it has something for everyone. We had everything from wings, burgers, dip, salad and seafood pasta. Drinks were tasty and the alcohol in them was of average amount. Our waiter. He got every order correct and was consistent with checking on us. He brought found out in a timely fashion and waited for me because I was sitting between both tables. He seemed to have another big party as well. However, the only thing is that he seemed slightly annoyed NOT rude just bothered. We would definitely return again if back in the area. Right now it is tough to service the public so I understand our waiter may have been overwhelmed, please be kind to our service workers.

John G: Logan Tavern, an old favorite over the years, haven’t frequented there as much as I used to. However, I’ve stopped in recently for the greatest drinks made by bartender John. Logan has a great fried chicken classic, with wonderful homemade mashed potatoes and generally Swiss chard… I prefer the asparagus, though, so make sure you ask if you want something different. Chipotle chicken sandwich is wonderful as well, and more recently, I have fallen in love with the pulled pork barbecue sandwich, minus the bun… and a couple extra pickle slices! Bartender John is fantastic at getting your order right, your food tasty, even while I subtract a few calories with a few changes! Thanks John for keeping Logan, local, lovely, and (de)licious!

Patty Cannon: Excellent food & service! The chef came out to meet us and to be certain we were happy! Such a wonderful adventure for us! A large group of 10 and there were several couples enjoying dinner around us...as well as bar seating. Excellent choice for dinner!

Michele R McConnell: We had a great experience. I have a food sensitivity / allergies and they were very accommodating. Aubry was a fabulous server and kept up with our drinks and food. The chef came out and discussed food options for myself and delivered!

Red Bear Brewing Co: what do users think?

William Archer: Very close to a metro stop and filled with thoughtful design, delicious drinks, and a curated board game selection. Only had beer and cocktails but was very happy with the entire experience. If I lived closer I would be here all the time meeting people, playing board games, and drinking from the big drink selection. So many small cool touches in how they decorated and designed the space!

David Cho: Great food, decent beer and average service. Let’s start with the good. Food was amazing! Above par when it comes to bar food. Some of the biggest wings and chicken strips I’ve ever seen. I’m not a big fan of chicken strips. They are usually too dry and don’t have the best crunch, but these were different. Like eating really good fried chicken without the bones. Great flavors too. Wing sauces are a bit confusing and really not a lot of help based on their on line ordering. Some of the crew would stop by and ask if we needed anything, but others really didn’t do much or were down right rude. The beers were ok. Good enough to wash down the food, but none really stood out enough to recall. Definitely a place to try for the food and maybe the beer rotation will get better

Lisa McCullough: Delicious! Love the variety of beers, try ordering 2-3 5oz beers to try the different flavors (which rotate often!). For a fabulous and filling vegan meal, order the mushroom burger, sub gluten free (and vegan) bun for brioche bun, add vegan Gouda and an impossible beef patty. + comes with the side of your choice (salad, French fries). Yum!!

J Foodgeek: Nice brewery. The wings were good but they shorted Us One Wing in one of our two orders. I liked krampus on draft.

Jordan Richardson: Great experience here! The beer was great and the staff was so friendly. Stumbled upon this place on an afternoon walk and truly enjoyed my time here. Went with the Peak Bloom cheer wit

Mr O: Check this place out all out inclusive in every sense of the word. You will feel welcome no matter where you are from or identify. Great beer and bar food. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff.

Tyler Huff: The beer is Phenomenal!!! Exactly what I like when I go to a brewery. Many different flavors and they actually taste like the menu suggest. This has been one of the BEST BREWERIES I have been to. I cannot wait to come back! Food was super tasty as well!

Exiles Bar: what do users think?

Molly Crabb: Exiles has been the go-to UNC bar during the tournament (and hopefully forever?) and going to all the games has been a BLAST. The waiters were SO accommodating and pushed through a packed room to deliver food with a smile. We had tech issues with the TV and they had multiple people come and try to fix and figured it out quickly! My 64 year old mom even had a good time and said she’d go back.

Shaina Eckles: Great drinks, fantastic atmosphere & super rad bathroom art.

Brian Webster: Loved this DC area Buffalonian bar! Exiles is a great location with awesome service, great food, and impressive drink selection. I got the wings (crispy and great) paired with a couple of Labatts, as well as a Catalonian Spritz that was refreshing. This place would be amazing to watch the Bills this fall!

Amit S: The 5th best bar on u street apparently. I still have to find the first four. The whole team is rocking. Good time guaranteed. Love you all!!!

Christopher Williams: A wonderful neighborhood bar. The owners and staff will make you feel at home. Nice outdoor patio with a “hook game.”

Shahnaz Punjani: Nice atmosphere. Friendly with great service. Just what I was looking for. A place to have a drink and chill.

Alain Parcan: As a sworn Stetsonite, I never wanted to admit I liked exiles as much as I did but if it isn’t one of the best bars in dc to get a beer and decent bar food, I dunno what is

Teddy & The Bully Bar: what do users think?

Julleny Wain: Food was really good but pricey. They do have unlimited mimosas if you do the all you can eat which is $50 per person. The portions as small buy again its all you can eat. The chicken and waffles was amazing, they have a waffles station, omelet station.

Hyun Kwak: I had a burger with fries along with sparkling water. the quality of service was ok. the burger was great but the fries were not that fresh. I still give them 4 stars. they have a happy hour menu, but the prices were not too different from the full menu. so, please check both menus even if you go there during their HH. happy dining! :)

Amy Rosenquist: The food at this place was absolutely delicious! We ordered an omelet, avocado toast, chicken & waffles, and chocolate chip pancake. The mimosas are small but they have a “bottomless” option if you’re looking to have a goooooood time ;) We sat outside and the umbrellas didn’t do much while the sun was still rising, but once it was overhead it was much shadier!

M B: Bottomless brunch offered a variety of foods and consistent pours throughout the duration of our 2-hr table reservation. Some dishes were less impressive than others, but the pricing and overall experience were unbeatable.

Jason Wallach: Went there for lunch. Excellent food, but a little slow on the delivery if you are trying to grab a "quick" bite, so be sure to tell the staff if you need speedy food delivery. I ordered the pumpkin soup to start, and it was smooth, rich, and sweet with a dollop of olive oil ricotta that added a fantastic touch of savory saltiness. The portion size was not very large, but the soup was very good. For my lunch entree, I ordered the mushroom risotto. Although the portion size was not large, the risotto was exceptional and very filling. It had blue cheese crumbles all over it, some other cheeses that left strings hanging from my chin, and something like honey that added some sweetness to everything. I cannot wait to return for happy hour or dinner to try their cocktails.

Christopher Kenneth Young Jr: Good service. Thank you Olivia. Food could’ve tasted better for brunch. Lots of small portions during brunch, if the portions were larger, we would’ve ordered less plates. I don’t recommend going for brunch with parties more than six - can be very hectic. If you want an unlimited brunch, I would recommend this place.

Capitol City Brewing Company: what do users think?

Elizabeth Long: Oh man, the food here was so great. We ate until we were absolutely stuffed. The service was excellent. I was also really impressed by how fast the food came out.

Joseph Wilson: The service was great, the food was delicious, and my partner liked the beer. The atmosphere of the bar was nice in a slightly sophisticated kind of way, and there was plenty of seating. I have one small complaint in that I wish they didn’t charge so much for a salad. I didn’t order a salad though, so maybe they’re huge?

C Yager: Nice brewpub, Excellent bar service, small taplist, bonus that they have a guest tap list as well. The Kolsch was very good, burger was fine, fries were very good , crisp and not greasy. Atmosphere was nice , limited hours during the week, closes early (9pm)

Melissa Marie: The beer was very good. I got the Turkey Club with fries. It was okay, but I probably should have chosen a different item. It was busy, but I did not have to wait. Staff was great.

Alexander Herbert: They do flights, ask them about it. The burgers were great. Apparently old bay seasoning is a big deal in this area of the country, so we were sure to get some. The wings did not disappoint.

Rahul Panchal: Very city type look with bright lights and good ambience, we tried their flight which is 5 shots of draft beer and H&11Rickey cocktail. Out of all draft IPA was good and cocktail was worth as well. Definitely worth visiting for the ambience and choice of cocktails they carry.

J S: Nice place well located at a corner close to a lot of woth visiting places of washington DC. Lenghty and spacious bar. A dozen of drafts from 7$. Not too much expensive for the location : burgers 11-15$, salads 10-15$... friendly staff

The Queen Vic: what do users think?

Laura Raymer: Party of 12, no problem! The Queen Vic had us make reservations on their website for our evening dining. We had the best time at The Queen Vic. Upstairs dining for our group was perfect. Our group had chicken pot pie (photo)-fish n chips-speckled hen (daily special)-Brie cheese board (daily special)-and more. Everything came out hot and delicious. Would highly recommend this place to dine and have drinks. Next time in DC area, we will definitely return.

Alyssa Miron: I’ve eaten many a donuts in my life…and these donuts might’ve been some of the best in my life. Not an exaggeration. All the food was great in general, but I will have dirty dreams of those cinnamon sugar dough boys.

Kim Gick: Amazing joint. Small but incredibly lively. Had the perogies (5/5). Chicken and French Toast (5/5). Sunday Roast (5/5). Bangers and Mash (5/5). Drinks were cold. Packed full, looked like they could have used a couple more staff, but the owner was hustling and bustling. Would eat here again 100%

Robert Yates: Are you a Liverpool fan? Do you like good service even when the bar is packed? Want awesome drinks and atmosphere? This is your place. If you are coming to watch a Liverpool game make sure to get there early.

Meghan Webster: We tried the Queen Vic for Mother’s day and were surprised at how AMAZING it was. This little hole in the wall british pub was just spectacular. It had something for everybody, vegans and vegetarians. Also, the drinks were amazing as well. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And the seating was nicely spaced out. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again and try more of the dishes.
