After so many frustrating experiences trying to tour apartments, Michaela was so nice to work with. She was communicative and friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable of the property and the units we wanted to view. However, the best part of 7th Flats is the quality of the space you get for the price...it is truly a great deal for the Shaw neighborhood!

ted r: Moved out earlier in the year to a different building in the neighborhood. nobody was at the desk when you wanted guests or delivery let in, elevator service was terrible, also smelled of sewage at certain points coming from other units into ours. not sure if much has changed but there are plenty of better options in the u street corridor. Marie: I love living here the staff is always very attentive especially everyone at the front desk! They are all very nice and welcoming! The maintenance is also great Danny and the rest of the staff are always quick and accommodating when anything goes wrong! Plus you’re practically on U street, and can walk everywhere or catch the metro next door!

TheEbuni Effect: I had a tour today, and let me just say KEVIN is amazing. He was very honest about the property, and that is what I loved the most. Although the units are small, it is an nice property.Overall, my experience was great, thanks to Kevin. ** UPDATE: They told me I made too much, and when I showed proof that I did not make what they claimed, they said someone would get back with me. A week later was still denied due to me making too much. Which again was false. So I am not sure what the issue is. NICE property if its just you. Not suitable for a large family. The units are SMALL as hell. 1 bedroom is like a closet literally, no space for nothing. No lobby, no club room, no packaging room, just elevator, so I would hold off on ordering anything. The leasing consultants could be better with answering the phones as well, and act like they are knowledgeable about the property. Other than that its okay.

Chris M: A beautiful apartment but very small. I have 2 kids hoping they could share the 2nd bedroom but it’s no way we can fit 2 beds in the room. Wish it was a bit bigger but the location and price is not bad. Worried a little about the parking situation because the garage only holds a few cars.

The new crafted and fully appointed homes are efficient. All of the home have ample vertical space, so bunk beds are a great option for individuals sharing a room. J. W.: The 2bd 2bath units are tiny with NO closet space outside of the bedroom closet which is very small. They have a total of 76 units in the building and only offer 4 parking spaces in the garage on a daily first come first served basis. So essentially they don’t actually have garaged parking. They have an all in one washer and dryer which means laundry day is going to be an all day process. There is not a built in light or window in the bedroom. There was a total of 3 windows in the entire unit which reminds me of a jail cell, not a lot of connection to the outside. Also, there’s no lobby space, as soon as you walk in the building the elevator sits behind the entrance doors. The pictures that are posted on the walls in the “lobby” area, are crooked which is unacceptable for the building to be brand new with only a few residents living in the building which just opened this week. The only thing I liked about the unit is the two full bathrooms and it’s a good price point for this particular location but the developers could’ve done better!

The new crafted and fully appointed homes are efficient. The closet spaces vary from apartment to apartment, but all homes have closets for each bedroom. There seems to be some confusion in the floor plan selection. Since the approval process can take 1-2 weeks for screening and income verification, we do not allow for residents to select their home from the available options until after they are approved. ashleigh barbee: My husband and I loved living at Flats! The location is perfect! So close to shopping, hotels, metro/busses and a lot of good food!!! All of the office staff are super friendly and helpful. The concierge staff are super welcoming and friendly. The maintenance team members are polite and do a great job addressing any apartment and community needs. Our apartment faced the National Cathedral and the view was AMAZING!! We got a lot of sunlight in our unit--which we loved. The amenities at Flats are convenient, clean and nice! I would recommend living here and I know Cristina and Tray would be more than willing to help you find the perfect unit at Flats!

Carlos Rivero: I stated in The Flats for about a year with two roommates. The building is very clean and up to date, and the staff were really helpful with any issues I had. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the outdoor BBQ/pool but the gym is larger than most apartment gyms and the washer/dryer room is full of units. Would definitely live there again

Nancy Nie-Fuller: I love living here! The concierge staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Super convenient located 5 mins away from the Dupont metro and 15 mins away from Foggy Bottom. Great amenities like pool, gym and laundry in building. I moved from NYC so this is really haven for me just having someone to fix your lights the next day you put in a service request. It is pet friendly and even though I am not a pet owner I enjoy looking at those cute creatures coming in and out of the building.

Jennifer: Although the property is nice and the amenities are of quality, the service at this apartment complex is horrendous. Residents experience hot water interruptions for days on end throughout the duration of fall and winter - the coldest days of the entire year! Postal mail package retrievals are delayed due to short-staffed concierge (with high turnover) unable to sort them in a timely manner. I’ve experienced lost packages on two occasions only to be told they were misplaced and now found. Elevators are out of service monthly. Maintenance staff lack proper business etiquette. They enter homes on phone calls with inappropriate personal conversations while using foul language within earshot, are impolite, and don’t clean up after themselves. Rent prices are not as competitive as other rental properties. The price paid for monthly rent, utilities (such as hot water), and amenities is not equivalent to the poor service, inconveniences, and lack of proper maintenance. Property advertises a “dog park” that is merely a fenced in patch of green carpet. Management does a poor job of handling grievances and complaints. There are several competitively priced properties within NoMa whom are more considerate of their residents and service. I will not be renewing my lease and wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone who is looking to live hassle-free.

Dominic Grant: This has all happened while living on the 140 side that falls under this apartment complex: Do you know what’s super fun about living here, being told by the maintenance staff that you might be at fault for your washer machine breaking because it’s been within six months since they’ve changed it, which supposedly means we are using it incorrectly. It obviously can’t be the fault of the leasing company who possibly uses cheap products. Add on top of all the stupidity of the boiler breaking within this facility and also spending who knows how many months not being allowed to use our front entrance due to a sink hole, one would wonder is it actually worth living here? My personal opinion no, it’s not, especially when you get emails saying when you should use hot water and an email saying you have to sign an NDA in order to get actual compensation from the leasing company. Lastly Bozzuto, don’t post to reach out to you, if you actually cared you wouldn’t be requiring NDAs to be signed.

Kafilat Umar: I moved into Flats 130 3 months ago and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The location is perfect, it’s right next to the Metro for easy commute. We have an Harris Teether in the building and there are lots of nice restaurants around. The building itself is kept really clean (they clean every day!, quiet and safe (key fob access everywhere, plus Covid safety protocols are observed). The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. The amenities are great too, I have pretty much everything I need. And if you have a pet, you are in luck because the building is pet friendly. The management organizes social activities every so often and that is sooo cool. Honestly, I have never experienced this anywhere else. There is a free coffee bar that’s open to everyone and it’s always stocked too. I have only had minor issues since I moved in and they are always quickly resolved. Again, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live in, kudos to the management!

Natalie White: I have had a terrible and discouraging experience with the Maple View Flats leasing team. I have submitted my application over a month ago and have received ZERO follow up. You are never able to get in touch with the leasing office via phone, they always transfer you to their third party information collections team. The team promises that someone will get back to you from the main office but it never happens. I have personally went up to the leasing office to try to check on my status in person, but they always claim they are between staff due to turnover. They promise to follow up, but never do. The run around and lack of communication has given me has been completely unprofessional. I highly recommend applying elsewhere.

Deonta Lipscomb: Very dysfunctional front office. After calling inquiring about a 1bd I was told there where some openings I arrived at the office to summit application with application fee only to never have my application process. I began to call every other day everytime I received different answers. I was told that somebody will give me a call back I never received any calls from these peoples. I then requested to speak to the property manager who in terms did absolutely nothing she stated she would investigate and she would call me back never received a phone call the entire time. This literally was a two month back and forth with them. I had 1 week left on my lease and no where to go and these people will take your money and never process your application. I can only image what the tenant go through and the reason I decided to look else where after no answers for two months.

I’ve lived here for a month and this has been the worst place yet. Property management does not care about residents . I’ve called serval times to get a matter fixed and no one answers the phone or they lie and say “I’ll call you back”. For $1360 this is no it. Save your money people and find you something better. Sayquan Agusto: I didn’t even make it out my car to see the apartment. Building looked very nice and well manicured from the outside but I couldn’t get past the neighborhood. There is a convenient store across the street to the right when existing the building that’s caged up locked down like Fort Knox, red flag 1.... their were a group of gentlemen within walking distance of the building on the corner half dressed about to fight they all looked like they haven’t washed, in days red flag 2. And across the street there were a few men who looked like alcoholics and drug addicts begging for money, red flag 3. If you’re single and young and spend most of your time at work or in the more affluent areas of D.C. then I recommend because the pricing isn’t bad. Outside of that I wish I would live in an environment where I feel like I may have to fight for my life when I walk out my building.

Reanna Rousseau: I have to say very disrespectful management at this location. The staff was lovely and helpful but the short light skin women manager with the face piercings, with her mask underneath her nose gave me the worst experience I have ever had at goodwill. Her regional needs to have her replaced ASAP. You can’t make your own rules at your store that’s not in policy. You can get fired for things like that and she must be reported. This is a store where they take free items and mark them up for “Goodwill” to sell to the people in the community who can’t afford the regular priced items. If you are over pricing the item you are basically doing a disservice to the community.

The staff was amazing on checking the condition of the item after purchase, and as an added service on their end, they sent a few extra close-ups even after I had purchased, which was not necessary, but so appreciated that they thought to do that. Above and beyond service, and extremely customer-service oriented.

I tend to be a bit uncomfortable buying items out of thrift stores. I didn’t care much for the clothes. But there were other items in the home section were really nice. Jennifer Roy: I have lived here for 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about this apartment building! The location is in a nice area and I have always felt safe. Management is the best that I have ever encountered and are always prompt in communicating any events, repairs or updates. If I have ever needed a repair done it is always completed asap. Highly recommend this apartment building to anyone looking to live in the Ballston area!

Very nice area, everything you need (restaurants, cafes, mall, cinema, hotels, pharmacy, supermarkets) are close by walking distance. The building is clean and brand new, and it is highly secured so you will definitely feel safe. Also, the staff are very friendly, and professional. They are certainly at your service.

Dee Buchholz: Scheduled a tour here since I was interested in a unit. The day of the tour, the manager called and had the tour pushed back a few hours since electricity went out in the building. I confirmed I was still available and traveled to the building at the new time. When I arrived, electricity was working just fine, but the leasing office was locked (despite the hours posted stating it would be open for two more hours). I called a few times and emailed but received no response. I waited about half an hour in case they were on another tour but no one returned or reached out after to apologize. If they treat prospective residents this bad then I can’t imagine how horrible it would be to live there

Vin Foderingham: We moved to 672 Flats in January 2021 and love it here. Great location, right in the heart of Ballston. We saw this building last and knew we needed to be here. The management team for the building is great and very friendly. They communicated well and made everything transparent. The building is well run, very clean and the residents are very respectful. Amazingly I don’t hear my other neighbors at all. Upon move in we found a few small issues but the maintenance team is great and they respond quickly. Can’t say enough about this place and I plan on being here for a long time!

Grace Arnold: I have been living at 672 Flats for about 4 months and have absolutely loved it! The apartment units are sleek, modern, and comfortable; definitely some of the nicest apartment units in the Ballston neighborhood. The cleaning and maintenance staff are amazing: the apartment building is nearly spotless and the rare moment I had a maintenance request, maintenance responded immediately! The back alley is great for walking dogs and the apartment complex is nicely located (near a metro and mall/food court). Just like any other apartment building, there are flaws. I sometimes hear neighbors above and next to me and the package system can have some issues, especially if you get a package delivered post work hours. The leasing staff does a great job to locate packages if I didn’t get notified, but sometimes Amazon workers just won’t deliver your package when they try to deliver it in the evening because there is no staff to let them in/tell them how to log packages. Compared to other apartments I have lived in, I just have to be a little more on top of when I am expecting a package to make sure it actually retrieve it; I have never “lost” a package while at 672. Despite these few drawbacks, 672 Flats has been a great place to live! Thank you to the maintenance, cleaning, and leasing staff who make it so great :)

Antonio Caputo: We rented into this apartment complex without ever seeing the unit in person. We moved from across the country and were extremely concerned we made a big mistake. We have no regrets about our decision. This place has been everything we expected and more. The leasing management and maintenance group have been providing excellent service. The unit itself had some minor things that needed fixing but within same day of requiring maintenence the staff has resolved the issue. Location is outstanding and neighborhood has plenty to offer .

Crystal Miller: I’m going to start this review by saying this entire company is racist. No person of color especially a black person should sell their things to this company. I brought in several items that had tags on them and because they didn’t fit the stereotype of the white area that it’s in they chose to say that my clothes wouldn’t sell. I know that that is a lie because I have seen plenty of college girls in that area wearing the exact same clothing. Same time in the store I found a black woman who wanted my new leather Zara dress that was originally $70 it was never worn. I ended up selling the dress to her in this store that claimed they did not have the clientele to take my items. What I got from the store was that the ownership is racist. They only want things that cater to white people even though they are in an ethnic area such as College Park. I have found plenty of black women in this specific area who would love the clothes that I brought in but it didn’t fit the white standard in the store so it wasn’t taken. I cannot speak for the manager because she tried to run away from the situation. However the people that do work there the staff they are friendly they are lovely however I will never recommend any person of color to go to the store to bring your clothes because it’s not white enough. On top of that they took two items who were in worse condition than the rest of the clothes that were in great condition because it fit the white aesthetic in the area.

Ricky Gomez: I will start this review by saying that the workers are super friendly and nice , the reason i am giving this place a 1 start reviews because I brought in a pair of slightly used Jordan’s with the box (both with the same Serial number ) and everything to get them appraised and sold . Well I come to find out that I had to wait TWO WHOLE HOURS for them to examine the pair of shoes . They give me a call to come back into the store just to tell me they couldn’t “ authenticate “ the shoes and basically told me I brought in fake Jordan’s . They’re reason for saying this is because “ they don’t have the factory smell (obviously because they WORN Jordan’s ) and because the jump man logo had a little bit of glue that was visible (obviously from the manufacture process). It’s ridiculous to me that a store that buys and sell streetwear products can’t tell the difference between an original shoe vs a knockoff . Retros Jordan that release now a days aren’t made like they were 10+ years ago . The quality and materials they use aren’t definitely not what they used to be , now with that being said regardless of the quality its not hard to tell a real Jordan Vs a fake and mines weren’t perfect but they were in great condition with no sighs of knockout to a trained eye . So I took my business elsewhere and just shipped them to goat and check this out guys , they authenticated the pair in less then 24 hours of me shipping out the pair of shoes . Complete waste of time .

Xiaojing Mao: I’m not sure if it was because I came by on Friday afternoon and no one wanted to work, I was not only illy treated but also asked to bring back all the stuff they don’t buy, even after I selected the “donate to charity” option in their system. There’s also no recycle bin nearby, I have to walk one block away to drop off the rest of my stuff. Considering the extremely low price offer they gave on the items they wanted to buy, it’s really not worth the effort paying this visit. I recommend donating your clothes directly.

Mindalay Bay: Very friendly staff & impressive mens collection. However, I value my time and don’t appreciate waiting almost 2 hours to be told they wouldn’t take any of my items (considering I arrived 10 minutes after they opened, had 1 person ahead of me, and was told it would only take an hour). Before I made this trip I made sure to include things they were interested in according to their Facebook posts. I was told they’d take a few things but it wasn’t worth it. Pretty sure something is worth more than nothing. Anyway, I don’t plan on coming back to this location since it was a hike for me and a complete waste of my time. Not looking for an apology or a response with an excuse.

Veronica: I am giving a one star due to the obvious following an employee with green hair was doing. She followed me and my younger sisters various times and just wandering around wherever we were when she was doing absolutely nothing or pretending to do “work”. We come to buy clothes in PEACE not to be harassed for our race or have someone think we’re thieves. She wandered around us a lot but not the white couple that was in there as well, how funny. Shame on that employee and whoever may have told her to do that. Next time she’s gonna get called out for that. Besides that, I would’ve given the store 5 stars because they have great clothes and it’s very clean. The cashier Samuel was so sweet and funny, maybe she could learn a thing or two from him.

So when I drove 30 mins away from home to try sell my shoes they told me my shoes was over budget meaning they couldn’t accept them . If you know designer shoes gonna be HIGH , why say y’all accept all designer shoes ? . DONT WASTE YOUR TIME .

The clothing is all quality brands and in good condition. It takes them up to 40 minutes to look through the clothes people want to sell them so they can assure quality. This is not an antique store nor your traditional thrift store. I definitely recommend checking it out.

I think their best section is the long sleeve shirts for women, I think they have some real gems in there! Workers are nice and it was an easy checkout. Would recommend if you need a blouse or just want to browse!

T: A medium-sized store with a pretty decent selection on used pieces. I came out with two really nice dresses both brand new with the tags still on them and a skirt that still have the tags on it so it was new as well I also found a nice straw beach bag for the summer. Abi Maghamfar: A place to donate unwanted items and buy used items from furniture to toys to kitchenware, clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, etc at reasonable prices. If you buying toys, puzzles and games or anything that have multiple pieces, makes sure all pieces are there as this has been one of the disappointing aspects of buying stuff here. The other disappointment is the lack of organization and cleanliness of the facility. Love the idea of recycling and reusing rather than sending them to the wasteland and Unique provides that opportunity.

Alice L.: Unique Thrift is a for-profit enterprise owned by Savers, which is owned by a private equity firm in the Seattle area. It is NOT a charity shop and does not donate its profits to charity. Their website clearly states: "Shopping in our stores does not support any non-profit." The company says it purchases donated items from some local non-profits; however, it does not release details on these buying deals. The company is large and owns many thrift stores around the country. I mention this because there are true charity shops in the area--including Goodwill, Urban Thrift, Salvation Army, church shops, etc.--that are actually charities and donate their profits to charity. Some of the real charity shops are even run by volunteers working for no pay in order to help the cause. A lot of people seem to think Unique is a charity and the attorney general in Minnesota has in the past accused this company of misrepresenting how much it gives to charity. So if you have lovely and near-new items to donate, I highly suggest donating them to authentic charity shops. I frequently shop the charity shops, but I also shop at Unique. Unique Thrift is still a worthwhile place to shop and I have found many nice items for good prices. It is pretty well managed and prices are marked clearly. The merchandise is generally clean and not damaged, although you have to examine your items carefully. There are 7-day exchanges but only for clothing and shoes. Be very careful buying anything else that might have defects, such as luggage, electronics, furniture, etc. Some items do have hidden damage so you have to look carefully. There are discounts here on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only so those days tend to be crowded.

Sara O'Brien: I have been going to this place for years and always felt welcome, but today was the worst experience of my life. We were in line for self checkout, when I saw that register 18 was open, as I proceeded with my daughter to the register the woman that was in charged of self checkout named Charika told us, "come here because I cannot see what you ring there." We walked to the register that she told us and as I scanned this woman stands there staring at us scan each item. I was already getting upset because she was staring at us scan as if we were the only customers there or as if we were thieves. After scanning 7 items this woman proceeds to approach my bag and count the items that I had placed inside the bag to make sure it matched the amount of items on the screen. I felt that we were being treated as thieves. I got so upset, I asked for the manager, but she said no one was available, so I took a picture of her ID card. This woman stood staring at our register until we finished ringing every item as if we were thieves. People go to the thrift store for many reasons, but in no moment should they be harassed by anyone. This store needs to train its employees to be courteous and not target people

I’ve seen brand new items from designer stores, sometimes with the tags still on them. Stuff is actually trendy and cute and not dated. They have clothes in every size, the selection is huge! Definitely visit if you’re looking to revamp your wardrobe.

And the manager just stood by and listened??? They were extremely patronizing and basically made me beg them just to go through the process of exchanging my stuff, which is PART OF ROSS POLICY! They tried give me $50 store credit max, even though my items cost $250 bc “they didn’t want to” exchange all my items. I was actually shocked I was bargaining with them to abide by the policies at all other Ross locations - or to just be decent with me. I asked the woman the price of something and she said “do you think I’m slow????” And I was like WAT is happening lol - one of the most unprofessional and rude encounters I’ve had with a person, much less an employee!!!!!!!!

Uptown Girl: The staff is so miserable. I like shopping this store when I’m downtown, but would rather shop online to avoid rude employees. The people that work on the second level are the absolute worst.They go out of their way to ignore you.

Tino M-Ze: This store is big and they always have a wide selection of newly release clothes. The clothes isles are very organized and accordingly from smaller size in the front and larger size in the back. Therefore easy to find what you’re looking for. They got rid of their huge nail polish and makeup station and replaced it with jewelry. Don’t try to start a nice conversation with their cashiers because they are not interested in small talk even though your just asking them how their day is going.

Michael Brown: As a company, REI should not inflict their political beliefs onto customers. That said, they carry good gear and this particular location is fantastic. Every time I have come here they have exactly what I need. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. I don’t know who makes REI branded clothes and gear, but they do a good job.

Mike R: I like this store for so many reasons. First: they have excellent customer service. Today I walked in with my bike to get my flat tire fixed. A woman approached me and signed me in. Then a man walked up to me and asked if I would like to him to park my bike. I was appalled by this gesture. Second: This establishment has everything here. I mean like… leave that bike area if you want to. You will be buying anything from energy gel to underwear. Third: conveniently located right beside the metro.

H Gill: Great store! love REI… but checking out here is always a 15 min wait. The checkout line moves at a snail’s pace, and the managers/supervisors don’t seem to care. I’ve seen customers put items down and leave out of frustration.

You park in the parking deck and then have to walk all the way around a whole city block because they have blocked off the elevator and stairs. So, you drive into the parking deck and then have this surprise journey ahead of you, through a sketchy alley and everything. Just wanted to give other customers a heads up!

R: Oddly enough they aren’t dog friendly yet I saw a pitbull walking around without a service vest. The area around is horrendous, good luck finding a parking spot. Really disappointed that REIs aren’t dog friendly yet their competitors REI and Bass Pro is.

Joshua Russell: We started coming here in the Fall of 2021 and decided to purchase season pass, they are very affordable. We have come a few times and I have been really impressed. They have different themes through the year which is nice to see how they decorate and celebrate. We have been to Halloween, Christmas and just went to the Fiesta theme. The wait times were really fast or nonexistent for all the rides. They had water sprinklers going which was good because it was so hot! Our family enjoyed all the rides throughout the day. There is always a staff member nearby ready to help which was really great to see and we saw a lot of people cleaning the park throughout the day. I do wish there was more mobile food ordering available though, when we were looking only one location was offering mobile orders, so hopefully that will grow. Overall great park for the family!

Tim Bergstrom: Great place to take kids in DC for a break from museums and tours. I enjoy museums and tours quite a bit, but let’s be honest, for kids, they can be little bit like a church service. Six Flags gave my kids and me a break from the usual and gave them a chance to blow off steam. Our favorite rides were Superman, Bat Wing, Joker’s Jinx and the Firebird. Have fun.

Rittik Bhowmik: Great experience. Strong suggestion is to get the tickets online before visiting, there is almost always a long queue for tickets. Most of the rides were usually not that busy, so everyone can finish all the rides at-least ones, and can even go for seconds if interested.

Jeremiah Gore: Needs another solid coaster as Superman Ride of Steel is great but where is the number 2 coaster? Some good rides throughout the park including a fun coaster built in 1917...The Wild One. By far this Six Flags has the friendliest staff of any Six Flags park... including multiple manager level employees we met while walking around the park.

pam wright: Rides were barley open, lazy river, the pool with the purple slide, the purple & green slide, renegade rapids, penguin blizzard, shipwreck falls, & more ALL we’re NOT OPEN! I don’t understand why these rides are not open. You pay your money to come here, but it’s not worth it because more than half of there rides are not operating. What a shame Not to mention I have diamond elite membership, I pay 20$ extra per month for what idk? Need to cancel that! Update 6/28/2022 im going to change my rating from 1 star ⭐️ to four stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I came back here again to give them another chance. Can you believe it after maybe 1-2 years the finally opened the lazy river.. Wow renegade rapids, penguin blizzard, shipwreck falls, was opened today. It’s good to arrive early get a good spot, we ordered food it was ready and condiments was available. 🤩 However, the staff there are really young and the don’t know how to talk to people & families. They all act like they don’t want to work.

We were able to ride the rides several time without a long wait park is not that crowded when u go early it was a nice experience 😉. By the time we were ready to go the park was getting a bit crowded....

Shah Md Mayen Uddin Chistee: This a great family fun place. There are so many rides that you will never get bored. I enjoyed most of the rides I took. You can take your kids there and they will love it. I recommend buying online entry ticket and parking pass. This will save some time for you.

tammy mcilhaney: Wait ?? There are rides here ?? Could’ve fooled me!! Everything is closed! Workers cranky! Burger was a joke! Shops closed “register” issue. Maybe 1/4 of the food stands open. Maybe 1/2 the rides open. Got stuck on the Superman! The one operator for a ride abandoned her post because of a spider!

Christopher Lew: tl;dr: Relatively inexpensive tickets for a pretty fun time, although the park does its very best to nickel and dime you. Park is pretty small, but can definitely do the entire park in 1 day (depending on ride lines). Rides - 3/5: The roller coasters were very fun! The wooden roller coasters look like they could fall apart at any moment, and are so rickety it made our party very nauseous. My favorite was the batwing, and the waiting times were not crazy. It could be the time of year but the average wait time for the rides were ~ 5 minutes. Getting to the park - 4/5: Buying tickets online was very straightforward and you are paying for both Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor which is the water park. Very easy access from DC (only a 30 minute drive). Parking online is cheaper than at the gate, but when we went the POS stations were down, so they let us park for free ($30 normally)! Lots of parking with good markings to remember where you parked. Very little security at the door which was kinda concerning, but we were able to bring in snacks. Food - 1/5: We were very nauseous from some of the roller coasters, and wanted to buy some ginger ale, and it was literally 6 dollars a bottle. There is a mildly concerning food stall called ChopSix (like six flags) with "Chinese" font that served knock-off panda express at double the price. Very overpriced. We kept food in our car, and went outside the park (we could reenter) to eat.
