7th Flats: what do users think?

Alex Keedy: Literally cannot express how frustrating it has been to live here. The entire second floor has not had hot water in 10 days, the trash chute is broken and overflowing, the security system at the front has been broken for over a month, the management does not answer emails, my apartment was DIRTY when I moved in despite claims that it would be clean...the list goes on....don't think that any of your requests will ever get answered. It's a great location, but incredibly frustrating to have any of the issues fail to be addressed.
Response: Alex Keedy, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.

Philip Pasch: the staff here does not respond to requests about safety and security whatsoever. I have called 911 multiple times because of break in's, I've been robbed in my own home in my sleep which was done when the doors were all locked, and I do nothing but request my locks be changed and doors rekeyed. Staff is aware that the style of door locks they use can be tampered with by the use of a magnet, and the "deadbolt" locks on the doors are held on by screws which do not go through the door., but sideways parallel to the door (which if you unscrew the lock on the door will come apart). They do not care about their tenants safety, their tenants fears, and they do not care whether or not you are in danger. Staff will let anyone into the building and up the elevator, they do not call the resident to confirm they have a guest, they refuse to change their practices after complaints, and and they don't care who comes in or out. They are Simply negligent abs careless. It's dangerous and they need to be publicly addressed on this.
Response: Philip Pasch, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide. As the new community manager, I am working to improve our customer service. I would like an opportunity to speak with you regarding your concers.

Parker Griffin: This is a total scam of an apartment building, do not live here. The leasing office is actively disinterested in doing their job and does not assist in any emergency. The water and electric bills are completely inflated. In a two bed, two bath, we were paying up to $300 a month sometimes for water and sewer, and the building did not know why the amount was so high (it is not individually metered, we think we were also paying for the water the restaurants below us used). The electric bill was also so inflated, we called the Electric Company and they agreed with us and gave us our money back because they said that bill didn't make sense. No upkeep, and thin walls. I lived here during the pandemic and as soon as restrictions lifted I was out of there. Do yourself a favor and don't try to save money on rent here, just avoid - it's not worth it.

Anna Driscoll: We recently moved into 7th Flats after an extensive apartment search, and so far we love it! After so many frustrating experiences trying to tour apartments, Michaela was so nice to work with. She was communicative and friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable of the property and the units we wanted to view. However, the best part of 7th Flats is the quality of the space you get for the price...it is truly a great deal for the Shaw neighborhood!
Response: Anna Driscoll, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at 7th Flats.

ted r: Moved out earlier in the year to a different building in the neighborhood. nobody was at the desk when you wanted guests or delivery let in, elevator service was terrible, also smelled of sewage at certain points coming from other units into ours. not sure if much has changed but there are plenty of better options in the u street corridor. Maybe things have improved since
Response: We appreciate all reviews, and appreciate you giving us the chance to improve by providing us with this feedback.

Marie: I love living here the staff is always very attentive especially everyone at the front desk! They are all very nice and welcoming! The maintenance is also great Danny and the rest of the staff are always quick and accommodating when anything goes wrong! Plus you’re practically on U street, and can walk everywhere or catch the metro next door!
Response: Misty, we're so glad that we were able to go above and beyond your expectations! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!

Joseph Chang: Great location and even better staff! One of my best leasing experience in DC. I have to say that there were many kind people working the building, especially Kevin who helped me and a friend have a smooth transition. His professionalism and charisma made the apartment hunting experience awesome!
Response: Joseph, it's experiences like yours that really keep us motivated! Your recommendation means so much to us and we're so happy to have earned it. Thank you again for taking the time to let the world know about your positive experience. Have a great day!

Myracle Jarmon - Moore: 7th flats is perfect for any young person living in the city. It is right next to some great restaurants, a hospital, and a university. As a student this is the best place for me to live without worrying about transportation.
Response: Hi Myracle Jarmon - Moore, thank you so much for your positive comments about 7th Flats! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!

Kymberly NDC: 7th Flats is my dream come true. As a kid I always wanted to live in a posh city dwelling with a concierge. In addition to the subway next door and uber/lyft for pickup, I feel like a superstar :) Thanks 7th Flats!
Response: We're so glad that we were able to go above and beyond your expectations. We always strive to provide top quality service to every resident, and are so pleased to hear that you are enjoying your apartment home and our community. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any concerns or i f there is anything we can help with.

Arielle M. (Mermaid): Great place to live. Staff is very friendly
Response: Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!

MDL Flats: what do users think?

TheEbuni Effect: I had a tour today, and let me just say KEVIN is amazing. He was very honest about the property, and that is what I loved the most. Although the units are small, it is an nice property.Overall, my experience was great, thanks to Kevin. ** UPDATE: They told me I made too much, and when I showed proof that I did not make what they claimed, they said someone would get back with me. A week later was still denied due to me making too much. Which again was false. So I am not sure what the issue is. NICE property if its just you. Not suitable for a large family. The units are SMALL as hell. 1 bedroom is like a closet literally, no space for nothing. No lobby, no club room, no packaging room, just elevator, so I would hold off on ordering anything. The leasing consultants could be better with answering the phones as well, and act like they are knowledgeable about the property. Other than that its okay.
Response: Ebuni, We are elated to hear that you had such a great experience at MDL Flats. We do agree that Kevin exemplifies the qualities of exceptional customer service we look to provide all our prospects, residents, vendors and partners. We look forward to continuing to provide you excellent service in the future. -MDL Flats Team

Chris M: A beautiful apartment but very small. I have 2 kids hoping they could share the 2nd bedroom but it’s no way we can fit 2 beds in the room. Wish it was a bit bigger but the location and price is not bad. Worried a little about the parking situation because the garage only holds a few cars.
Response: Christina, We are sorry MDL flats was not what you were hoping. There is a garage, but spaces are limited, so the primary means of parking would be street parking, we are sorry to inform you this is a common parking structure for most of the communities in the area. The new crafted and fully appointed homes are efficient. All of the home have ample vertical space, so bunk beds are a great option for individuals sharing a room. Please feel free to email mdlflats@tmamgroup.com with any recommendations or suggestions to improve your experience. Hope to hear from you soon. -MDL Flats Team

J. W.: The 2bd 2bath units are tiny with NO closet space outside of the bedroom closet which is very small. They have a total of 76 units in the building and only offer 4 parking spaces in the garage on a daily first come first served basis. So essentially they don’t actually have garaged parking. They have an all in one washer and dryer which means laundry day is going to be an all day process. There is not a built in light or window in the bedroom. There was a total of 3 windows in the entire unit which reminds me of a jail cell, not a lot of connection to the outside. Also, there’s no lobby space, as soon as you walk in the building the elevator sits behind the entrance doors. The pictures that are posted on the walls in the “lobby” area, are crooked which is unacceptable for the building to be brand new with only a few residents living in the building which just opened this week. The only thing I liked about the unit is the two full bathrooms and it’s a good price point for this particular location but the developers could’ve done better!
Response: J.W., We are sorry the one 2 bed 2 bath you saw was not what you were looking for. Almost every apartment has different lay outs, and vary greatly in size and shape. There is a garage, but spaces are limited, so the primary means of parking would be street parking, we are sorry to inform you this is a common parking structure for most of the communities in the area. Having used the all in one washer and dryer, we can assure you its both energy efficient and effect when used properly. The new crafted and fully appointed homes are efficient. When you toured we were still finishing last touches and construction, but have been fully operational since Jan 2022. Please feel free to email mdlflats@tmamgroup.com with any recommendations or suggestions to improve your experience. Hope to hear from you soon. -MDL Flats Team

Arcane Flame: No garage. Not all utilities included as stated. No lobby. No amenities. Small units. No closet space. Cheap appliances. Can’t even choose your unit or floor plan. They just give you what they feel like. Waited for a Big disappointment!
Response: Arcane, We are sorry MDL flats was not what you were hoping. You are correct, we cover all utilities (water/sewer/garbage/gas) and the only utility residents are responsible for is electricity. There is a garage, but spaces are limited, so the primary means of parking would be street parking, we are sorry to inform you this is a common parking structure for most of the communities in the area. The new crafted and fully appointed homes are efficient. The closet spaces vary from apartment to apartment, but all homes have closets for each bedroom. There seems to be some confusion in the floor plan selection. Since the approval process can take 1-2 weeks for screening and income verification, we do not allow for residents to select their home from the available options until after they are approved. Please feel free to email mdlflats@tmamgroup.com with any recommendations or suggestions to improve your experience. Hope to hear from you soon. -MDL Flats Team

Gianni Janae: ANSWER THE PHONE FOR POTENTIAL RESIDENTS. SMH
Response: Gianni, We are sorry to hear your frustration. Unfortunately the office is closed on the weekends. Due to our much anticipated opening, being so recent, we are still averaging 40 calls a day from interested prospects. Balancing that with in person tours, video tours and move in, the phone is not always the best means of swift communication. We highly recommend emailing the community at mdlflats@tmamgroup.com or submitting your inquiry through our website, https://www.mdlflats.com/. Hope to hear from you soon. -MDL Team

The Flats at Dupont Circle Apartments: what do users think?

Scott Geldzahler: The Flats was a solidly "meh" place to live, but we had a few major incidents that would advise me to recommend against renting there. Especially given the prices. First, the good: Know that you are paying for the location here. The Flats are well located, especially if you work downtown. The pool and gym are nice, well maintained, and great value. The grills for the most part worked, and the courtyard was great during warmer months for hosting - though occasionally a resident will have far too many people over and a party will get so loud they need to call in the police to disperse it. There were no insect issues, and we only saw rats in the courtyard (it is downtown in a city, understandable) but never inside. Our unit also had a courtyard facing balcony which as great to sit on during summer. I also found the staff to be amenable and kind for the most part. The front desk is excellent and the leasing office was usually prompt in response. We did what we could to get out of a lease early, and I understand why they had to deny that, but dealing with a large company can be mind numbing and dehumanizing, so keep that in mind before renting here. The maintenance staff, and the cleaning crew were by far the nicest people there. Sadly, they're being replaced with robots that do a poor job of cleaning. The population here is mainly GW and grad students, which comes with its own ups and downs. Now, onto the rough stuff: First, our car was stolen out of the parking garage one evening. It was recovered next to the building haven been driven for 18 miles early the next morning, the glovebox rifled through and strewn about the car. The staff was entirely unhelpful here without a police report, and told us that they saw nothing on the security cameras (impossible, since the car was physically removed from the spot and driven!). They would not let us view the security footage for that night, and made no offer to makegood for the stress of having our car stolen from their garage. For $250 a month for parking, this was unacceptable. The common hallways are often in varying states of disrepair, with huge holes in the paint on the ceilings. Laundry was survival of the fittest, with not enough washers and dryers for the residents frequently, and many many occurrences of out of order washers and dryers. The apartments are definitely outdated, with "landlord specials" all over the place. The faux wood floor was starting to peel when we left, and the cabinets and shelving are small to say the least. The "panty" which is a triangle shaped cutout in the kitchen area was small to say the least. The AC always worked, though it was always either far too hot or too cold, given that they're ancient units from what I assume to be the early 1990s. It took the better part of a year for them to replace a malfunctioning dishwasher, after 5 maintenance visits to fix the same issue again and again, only for it to break a few weeks later. Overall, if you are looking for location and amenities and are willing to pay over-average prices for units that haven't been updated in a decade, then it is worth it. But otherwise, I would advise you look elsewhere. Oh, and don't park your car there!

ashleigh barbee: My husband and I loved living at Flats! The location is perfect! So close to shopping, hotels, metro/busses and a lot of good food!!! All of the office staff are super friendly and helpful. The concierge staff are super welcoming and friendly. The maintenance team members are polite and do a great job addressing any apartment and community needs. Our apartment faced the National Cathedral and the view was AMAZING!! We got a lot of sunlight in our unit--which we loved. The amenities at Flats are convenient, clean and nice! I would recommend living here and I know Cristina and Tray would be more than willing to help you find the perfect unit at Flats!
Response: Hi Ashleigh! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your time here and know that it's a pleasure to have you both as members of the Flats at Dupont Circle community. Thank you so much for sharing this review with us.

Ann Dee: Lived here for two years and I cannot overstate this: the building got dramatically worse over time. When we moved in, we felt like we got a decent deal in an amazing part of the city. Over time, we saw just how little the staff actually cares about the residents or keeping up the building. Front desk staff rarely checks in packages accurately, and sends condescending emails everytime something in the building goes wrong. They refused to do anything about our neighbor's smoking habit (in a building that's supposed to be nonsmoking) except send some useless emails, so our apartment smelled like cigarettes for ages. Cleaning staff doesn't wear masks for COVID while they're working, even though residents are asked to wear them in all public spaces. Repair staff never actually fix issues in the apartment--prime example, they came to work on our bathrooms multiple times because they never patched the leaks right the first time. The elevators and laundry machines are out of order at least once a week. All that, then they tell you they're increasing the rent after one year and then guilt you with "this is a great price for the area, you cannot afford any comparable units around here" - so on top of everything else, rude. Don't let the price tag fool you, you're paying for location and after a couple months, even that won't be worth it
Response: Hi, Ann. We're sorry to hear that you feel this way but we could not match the name you use here and your comments with that of a resident. We do have residents with similar names but we have not received negative feedback during our check-ins with them. We’d appreciate it if you’d please call our office directly, so we can better address and investigate your concerns. Thank you!

Sahar Takshi: You do NOT get what you pay for here. Very low quality building for the price. The rent here is extremely expensive, and the quality of each unit and the amenities is very low. Cheap cabinets in the bathroom that were always breaking and the "covers" were falling off, poor and chipping paint, very low ceilings, AC/heating unit not working. Unlike most apartments during the pandemic, The Flats seemed to hike up their rent. They were also very unaccommodating in terms of altering/ending leases for individuals affected by the public health emergency--some negotiation and or at least kindness would have been appreciated. Communication from the assistant managers has been consistently condescending. Overall, management does not care about the renter's experience at all.
Response: Thank you for your review, Sahar, and we're incredibly disappointed to learn you feel this way. We understand that this past year was a challenging time, which impacted each of us in one way or another, and our goal was to provide our residents with support. We developed options for residents who experienced financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 and set up a blog to share governmental or community resources to help residents secure financial assistance and more. It is our understanding that the Community Manager has personally connected with you to discuss these concerns further. If you have any questions or would like to provide additional feedback, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Thank you again and we wish you well in your new home.

Hope Renata: This place is beautiful and the leasing office are extremely conscientious. It’s the perfect apartment complex for a young person. I love using the gym; I haven’t used the pool yet, but look forward to it. My room has a gorgeous view.
Response: Hello, Hope. Thank you for sharing your living experience at The Flats at Dupont Circle Apartments! We're thrilled to hear you are enjoying the amenities and your home. Thanks again!

Carlos Rivero: I stated in The Flats for about a year with two roommates. The building is very clean and up to date, and the staff were really helpful with any issues I had. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the outdoor BBQ/pool but the gym is larger than most apartment gyms and the washer/dryer room is full of units. Would definitely live there again
Response: Hi Carlos, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your home here at The Flats at Dupont Circle Apartments. Our team always strives to deliver an excellent experience, and we are glad you found this to be the case during your living experience. We hope to see you again in the future!

Jeff B Richards: We moved into the Flats in August of 2005 when it was pretty new. As many have mentioned, the front desk staff made us at home immediately. The professional leasing team rushed everything since we were displaced from our home nearby by a scary fire. Although I'd never lived in such a small but completely furnished space, I felt a little claustrophobic at first. Then I just liked that it was cleverly done and adjustment came fast. Sure, the location was familiar but -- for many including me -- it didn't get much better than this whether by foot, Metro, cab, car... Many people who've not yet lived in Washington close in like this don't realize that one can do the workday largely or completely by walking. I'd walk to my office on 18th/L Streets NW, for example, and then on to meetings all over nearby throughout the day. Walking home completed the luxury of walking versus 2-3 hours driving every day across the San Franciso Bay Bridge or eastward on I-10 from downtown LA to Riverside, or taking more than one train to get home in northern New Jersey from midtown Manhattan. The Flats was an expression for me of lots of freedom with my time and energy returned to me for other good things. And finally, I often enjoyed talking with fellow residents. The Flats attracted a diverse group of high achievers who liked what was there and eventually one another. A great experience!
Response: We’re delighted that you had such a great time living with us, Jeff! It’s great to hear that you are enjoyed all that The Flats at Dupont Circle Apartments has to offer, and we appreciate your kind words for our team. It was a pleasure to have you part of our community, Jeff!

Erin: After living in the Meridian in Chinatown, this building has been a tremendous step up. The leasing office is extremely professional and helpful, especially Maureen who leased my apartment to me. I've known her for a couple of years now and she is very helpful and kind. Tray works at the front desk and is incredible! She really helped out when my air conditioner flooded by calling maintenance and making sure they finished all repairs in two days (which is their promise, unlike Meridian which would take over a week sometimes). The amenities are beautiful and the rooms are stunning. I love the layout especially with the curtain, it helps make a under 500 square foot apartment look and feel big! I do appreciate that when issues arise, the management will respond to you via emails and/ or a phone call. I even sent a video of my refrigerator because it was making a buzzing noise and the next day it was replaced which was above and beyond what I expected. The location is ideal because it's two blocks from the metro and circulator (to get to Georgetown or VA). It's in the middle of DuPont which is where I've always wanted to live and love it. Thank you Flats at DuPont!

Libby Newman: I lived in the Flats at Dupont Circle for four years, and only left because I was relocating to another city. I can't say enough good things about the building and staff. Everyone who works at the Flats, from maintenance personnel to leasing agents, is extremely nice, accommodating, and will go out of their way to ensure their tenants are happy. Everyone who works at the front desk is a joy to see in the morning on my way to work and in the afternoon after a long day. They are all smiles and always ready to greet you and make you feel at home. Locked out? They can let you back in at any time. Need to pick up a package? You can get it 24 hours a day. Dry cleaning? Just drop it off at the front desk! Some of the people I will miss most from DC worked behind that desk. They become friends, and are always available to help with anything you may need. Maureen in the leasing office made my move-in and move-out experience easy, and was a great contact during my four years. She was readily available to answer questions, help negotiate annual lease agreements, and provide all of the necessary moving instructions and assistance when it came time for me to leave. The amenities at the Flats are a major plus. The gym is spectacular, bright, and spacious. The pool is always clean and fun, but not over the top with loud parties. The laundry room is in great condition, has tons of machines, and takes credit cards. My favorite feature of the laundry room is that you can check online to see if there are machines available before lugging all of your items downstairs. You can even set it up so you receive a text when your laundry is ready to be switched to the dryer or is finished. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! The building is just a few blocks from the Dupont metro station, and is also in walking distance to the Foggy Bottom and Farragut West/North stations, depending on which line you need. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, workout studios, bus stops, and convenience stores nearby. It's a 15 minute walk to the White House, and a short Uber or metro to the National Mall. You cannot run out of things to do. The rooms are bright, with huge windows allowing plenty of sun in, as well as vertical blinds for when you need to recover from the night before (I call those dungeon days). The stainless steel appliances and track lighting really make the rooms feel up-to-date and modern. The shower has awesome water pressure, something I was concerned about when moving into such a large building. I wish I could live here forever, but duty calls elsewhere!
Response: Hi Libby--It's great to hear from you! Thank you so much for sharing this review with us. While we're sorry to see you go, please know that it was a pleasure to have you as a member of the Flats at Dupont Circle community! Thanks again and best wishes!

Nancy Nie-Fuller: I love living here! The concierge staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Super convenient located 5 mins away from the Dupont metro and 15 mins away from Foggy Bottom. Great amenities like pool, gym and laundry in building. I moved from NYC so this is really haven for me just having someone to fix your lights the next day you put in a service request. It is pet friendly and even though I am not a pet owner I enjoy looking at those cute creatures coming in and out of the building.
Response: Hello, Nancy! It's great to hear from you. We are very happy to hear that you're enjoying all that the community and neighborhood has to offer. If there is ever anything we can help you with, feel free to reach us at (202) 457-5801. Thank you so much!

Flats 130 at Constitution Square: what do users think?

Aparana Jaiswal: I lived for 3 years at Flats 130, and I don't have anything but good things to say about this place. The concierge and leasing both are wonderful, and they've helped me out at every given moment. The maintenance team can be a bit slow but they always get the job done. The apartment itself was pretty spacious and comfortable - I had a 1 bed-room, with a balcony overlooking the Zen Garden. The location is great, with the NoMa metro just being next door. Groceries are easy with Harris Teeter and Trader Joe's being incredible close. Lots of restaurants around, and Union Market is also just a 10-15 min walk. The neighbours are friendly and the building is very diverse. The amenities are pretty decent too. If I didn't have to move cities for work, I would still definitely continue to live at Flats 130 - I felt at home here (which I typically never do).
Response: Aparana Jaiswal, Thank you so much for providing us with feedback on your experience here! We really appreciate your positive review . We hope to be of service to you again in the future. Best wishes, Flats 130 at Constitution Square

Jennifer: Although the property is nice and the amenities are of quality, the service at this apartment complex is horrendous. Residents experience hot water interruptions for days on end throughout the duration of fall and winter - the coldest days of the entire year! Postal mail package retrievals are delayed due to short-staffed concierge (with high turnover) unable to sort them in a timely manner. I’ve experienced lost packages on two occasions only to be told they were misplaced and now found. Elevators are out of service monthly. Maintenance staff lack proper business etiquette. They enter homes on phone calls with inappropriate personal conversations while using foul language within earshot, are impolite, and don’t clean up after themselves. Rent prices are not as competitive as other rental properties. The price paid for monthly rent, utilities (such as hot water), and amenities is not equivalent to the poor service, inconveniences, and lack of proper maintenance. Property advertises a “dog park” that is merely a fenced in patch of green carpet. Management does a poor job of handling grievances and complaints. There are several competitively priced properties within NoMa whom are more considerate of their residents and service. I will not be renewing my lease and wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone who is looking to live hassle-free.
Response: It is disappointing to see you left us such a low star rating. We are interested in learning more about your particular experience. Please reach out to us at (240) 377-0148. We hope to hear from you.

Kelly Ryan: Do you like hot water? Like waking up on a cold winter morning and enjoying a warm shower? If so, this isn't the place for you! I've lived here for four months and have had no fewer than ten days without hot water. For the record, that's Oct-Feb when hot water is especially important. $2,300+ for 750sqf and no consistent hot water is ridiculous.
Response: Hi Kelly Ryan, we appreciate your honest review. We set a high standard for ourselves, so we are disappointed to hear that your experience with us was not a positive one. We understand your frustration with the recent hot water outages and we are working hard in the background to find a resolution. I will reach out directly to communicate progress moving forward. Best, Sean Amico Property Manager

Roderick Wells: Great property. The comedy show was amazing! But they need to work on additional community events. No flyers or ways to let resident know of activities. At least we got a comedy show every now and then. Wish they would it more often .

Luis Sanchez: I had an awesome time watching Four Corners Entertainment tonight! There were over 10 comedians and they were all great! I would love to see them return and have an event at least once month!

Joseph Fallone: 12 Hilarious comedians, packed show, and unlimited drinks! What more can you want from a comedy show. Loved all two hours of the show and highly recommend it for everyone. Bring them back once a month!!

Mike Stankiewicz: Unless you like sirens going off in the middle of the night every 2 weeks, stay away. A reoccurring issue since I have moved into the flats are the loudest most obnoxious fire alarms I have ever heard going off at sometimes two or 3 o’clock in the morning that last for 10-15 minutes at a time. Imagine being woken up every few weeks to industrial level sirens going off. When I consulted the manager, Sean Amico, he said it didn’t even have anything to do with our building and that it was because of the hotel next-door. He also promised it was very infrequent and rare and that he would be talking to their management, however the sirens have gone off an additional *three times* in the past month alone. No apology, no resolution, no commitment to fix. It’s sad because I’ve genuinely enjoyed everything else about this apartment complex, but this is such an unacceptable way to live and it’s breaking me. -Apt. 247 EDIT: Of course their response is a vague apology that doesn't even promise a solution to this issue. Tells you all you need to know about Flats 130.
Response: We are disappointed to hear that you did not have a more positive experience with us at Flats 130 at Constitution Square. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will use your comments to refine our efforts and ensure we can improve on the issue. Best, Flats 130 Team

Dominic Grant: This has all happened while living on the 140 side that falls under this apartment complex: Do you know what’s super fun about living here, being told by the maintenance staff that you might be at fault for your washer machine breaking because it’s been within six months since they’ve changed it, which supposedly means we are using it incorrectly. It obviously can’t be the fault of the leasing company who possibly uses cheap products. Add on top of all the stupidity of the boiler breaking within this facility and also spending who knows how many months not being allowed to use our front entrance due to a sink hole, one would wonder is it actually worth living here? My personal opinion no, it’s not, especially when you get emails saying when you should use hot water and an email saying you have to sign an NDA in order to get actual compensation from the leasing company. Lastly Bozzuto, don’t post to reach out to you, if you actually cared you wouldn’t be requiring NDAs to be signed.
Response: Dominic Grant, Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. We are disappointed to see your low star rating and we regret that you weren't satisfied with your experience. Flats 130 Staff

Fay Blelloch: Love living in Flats 130, had a great time at the comedy show put on by four corners entertainment! Would love to see them back monthly!

Kafilat Umar: I moved into Flats 130 3 months ago and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The location is perfect, it’s right next to the Metro for easy commute. We have an Harris Teether in the building and there are lots of nice restaurants around. The building itself is kept really clean (they clean every day!, quiet and safe (key fob access everywhere, plus Covid safety protocols are observed). The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. The amenities are great too, I have pretty much everything I need. And if you have a pet, you are in luck because the building is pet friendly. The management organizes social activities every so often and that is sooo cool. Honestly, I have never experienced this anywhere else. There is a free coffee bar that’s open to everyone and it’s always stocked too. I have only had minor issues since I moved in and they are always quickly resolved. Again, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live in, kudos to the management!
Response: Kafilat Umar, thank you so much for providing us with feedback on your experience here! We really appreciate your positive review . We always strive to provide top quality service to every resident and guest and we are so thrilled to hear that you have enjoyed your experience here at Flats 130 at Constitution Square! We hope to continue to provide this quality of service to you again in the future. Sean Amico Property Manager

Maple View Flats: what do users think?

Natalie White: I have had a terrible and discouraging experience with the Maple View Flats leasing team. I have submitted my application over a month ago and have received ZERO follow up. You are never able to get in touch with the leasing office via phone, they always transfer you to their third party information collections team. The team promises that someone will get back to you from the main office but it never happens. I have personally went up to the leasing office to try to check on my status in person, but they always claim they are between staff due to turnover. They promise to follow up, but never do. The run around and lack of communication has given me has been completely unprofessional. I highly recommend applying elsewhere.
Response: Hello Natalie White, I am so sorry to discover that your application hasn't been handled in a timely fashion. I sent you a message earlier and I will contact you with a status update within 48 hours. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to turn around the situation and help you find your new home. Sincerely, Michelle McCoy, Community Manager

Deonta Lipscomb: Very dysfunctional front office. After calling inquiring about a 1bd I was told there where some openings I arrived at the office to summit application with application fee only to never have my application process. I began to call every other day everytime I received different answers. I was told that somebody will give me a call back I never received any calls from these peoples. I then requested to speak to the property manager who in terms did absolutely nothing she stated she would investigate and she would call me back never received a phone call the entire time. This literally was a two month back and forth with them. I had 1 week left on my lease and no where to go and these people will take your money and never process your application. I can only image what the tenant go through and the reason I decided to look else where after no answers for two months.
Response: Good afternoon Mr. Lipscomb, My name is Mary Martin and I am the new Community Manager for Maple View Flats. I would first like to apologize for your experience with the application process at Maple View Flats, we were transitioning with staff at the time you applied. I assure you that it is not our intention to mislead any of our future or current residents at Maple View Flats and as the new Community Manager, I would greatly appreciate it if you would allow me to personally reactivate your application to show you an AWSOME!! Maple View experience. If you would like I can be reached at mmartin@kettler.com Sincerely, Mary Martin, Community Manager, Maple View Flats

Brittany Speight: Hello everyone, thanks for coming to my Ted talk. On this episode we/ I have disregarding property mangers who is never in the office at 9:00am and always leaves before 6:00pm. I’ve lived here for a month and this has been the worst place yet. Property management does not care about residents . I’ve called serval times to get a matter fixed and no one answers the phone or they lie and say “I’ll call you back”. For $1360 this is no it. Save your money people and find you something better. Thank you for listening.
Response: Brittany, we are so sorry to hear that your experience has not been satisfactory. While are are currently short staffed in the office, your concerns are important to us. Please email me at emorton@kettler.com so that we can work through your concerns. Sincerely, Evette Morton, General Manager

Jackie Venable: The staff is amazing.I’ve lived here for almost 2 years. These are great apartment. The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues.I would recommend it to others .
Response: Thank you for your awesome review, Ms. Venable! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and as a valuable resident, were happy to hear that we hit the mark for you. We look forward to your continued residency. Sincerely, Maple View Flat

Larry Covert: Living here has been awesome. I love the manager, Chase. He is always willing to help everyone. Even notice so many improvements around the building since he started. Great living experience for sure!
Response: Larry, Thank you for your 5 star review and for recognizing Chase and his hard work! Sincerely, Maple View Flats Management

Sayquan Agusto: I didn’t even make it out my car to see the apartment. Building looked very nice and well manicured from the outside but I couldn’t get past the neighborhood. There is a convenient store across the street to the right when existing the building that’s caged up locked down like Fort Knox, red flag 1.... their were a group of gentlemen within walking distance of the building on the corner half dressed about to fight they all looked like they haven’t washed, in days red flag 2. And across the street there were a few men who looked like alcoholics and drug addicts begging for money, red flag 3. If you’re single and young and spend most of your time at work or in the more affluent areas of D.C. then I recommend because the pricing isn’t bad. Outside of that I wish I would live in an environment where I feel like I may have to fight for my life when I walk out my building.
Response: Dear Sayquan, we are sorry that you decided not to tour with us during your visit. Feel free to contact us at 202-922-2020 if you change your mind. Sincerely, Maple View Flats Management

Paula Braxton: Chase is absolutely wonderful. He typically works alone and does a great job making sure we are well taken care of. The best manager that's been here since I moved in. Thank u Mr. Chase.
Response: Hi Paula, Thank you so much for your residency at Maple View Flats and your kind remarks about Chase. Sincerely, Evette Morton, General Manager

Michael Dixon: Love staying here. Chase is super dope always goes above for tenants. I can always come to him and he will be available and nice to us.
Response: Hi Michael, Thank you for the positive remarks. We enjoy having you as a valuable resident of Maple View Flats! As you know, my door is always open! Best Chase Brown, Community Manager

Nigel Hall: I have been fortunate to have moved in several months ago and feel I need to add my voice to the reviews! I have to agree that the staff here are some of the most incredible people I have ever met going over and beyond to help anyone that walks into the office, resident or potentials. The building far exceed expectations in terms of what you get and the units are beautiful. The neighbours I have met so far are great and I hope this turns into a community that cares for each other as well as the development. Well done leasing team!

Christopher Newton: Today I’m writing this review to express my excitement and gratitude to the wonderful staff at maple view flats. The leasing staff made me feel extremely welcome they made my application process as easy as possible. I applied pressure about the process and they never cracked they constantly produced results. I truly can say they care about whoever walks in to apply. I’m happy to say that I was approved and move in this weekend and can’t wait! And again you guys were amazing thanks again.

Old Navy: what do users think?

wind day: Great customer service ! I have been here quite frequently and the women working there have been super helpful and sweet. Even the male guards are polite and greet you at the door :) Great place to shop !

Michael Miller: Great customer service. Public bathroom. Clean well organized store. No on sight parking.

Mya Sinclair: Just fair that I will review after shopping here so mnay times. Love the Old Navy and what they make. Prices are OK and amazing on sales.

Darryl Carter Stevens: Everyone is friendly and helpful. My cousin and I went to buy some clothes for my nephew. It was easy to find his size with plenty of options we able to find some great stuff. Plus we were able to get a discount. A very pleasant shopping experience.

Rebecca Jones: Store is so neat and clean. Everything so well organized and Mgr and male staff member was so helpful and pleasant. Very nice store and they are having a great sale this week. Will definitely be shopping there more in the future.

keva bates: This particular location did not have a lot of customers at 5pm on a Sunday. There are new items out with a nice size clearance section in the women's department. The lines were quick. Employees were helpful and friendly.

Lonshanda hillard: I love to do in-store pick-up they are on point with it

Sheneil Black: Shout out to Latoya!!! I needed to swap something for a different size but they no longer had it in store. She kindly suggested she could order online for me. Thank you!

Vander Barfield: Very respectful workers love the cleanliness n customers first vibe thanks Ms V for vander

Donna WalkerJackson: The security person at the front door is rude. I said good morning and he turned his head, that's why he can't catch a thief but I did and I dont work there.

Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store: what do users think?

Reanna Rousseau: I have to say very disrespectful management at this location. The staff was lovely and helpful but the short light skin women manager with the face piercings, with her mask underneath her nose gave me the worst experience I have ever had at goodwill. Her regional needs to have her replaced ASAP. You can’t make your own rules at your store that’s not in policy. You can get fired for things like that and she must be reported. This is a store where they take free items and mark them up for “Goodwill” to sell to the people in the community who can’t afford the regular priced items. If you are over pricing the item you are basically doing a disservice to the community.

Lea Sumlin: On. April 30. A beautiful morning. I decided to donate things, I don't need. My family and I went to the South Dakota location. When we got there, a light skin colored girl with glasses as the manager was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL We did not get a Good Morning. She WAS VERY UNPLEASANT with her Approach. "We're not open yet, did you hear me and we line up over here. I never opened my mouth but after her unprofessional way of speaking. I ask, " do you WORK here. "Am the manager". She is NOT MANAGER PROFESSIONAL. We left. I Googled Salvation Army on Kenilworth Ave. They were open and VERY PROFESSIONAL AS WELL. THANKS SALVATION ARMY. We were very happy when we got there and after we left.💯❤️❤️❤️.

Zh Ie: Purchased online from this location. The staff was amazing on checking the condition of the item after purchase, and as an added service on their end, they sent a few extra close-ups even after I had purchased, which was not necessary, but so appreciated that they thought to do that. Above and beyond service, and extremely customer-service oriented.

Andrew Patricio: Bizarre. Don't bother going here to donate anything except kitchen stuff or toys, (except baby toys they won't take). On the website it says they take clothes, furniture, etc and they used to but no longer for some reason. Any even toys they won't take anything "a baby can sit in". Ie no bounce toys, push bike etc. Wasted my time twice in a row. Never again. Just go down the road to salvation army or even better, the value village thrift store.

Kim Barr: I found some lovely things there the staff was very helpful and definitely check out the colors of the week sales. I was able to get a 15.99 suit for 3.99 because of the colors of the week sale.

Team World: Caĺled them numerous times over several weeks for pick up of lots of veey good clothes and furniture. I am leaving the country. They never called back.- couldnt be bothered apparently. SHAME on you, Goodwilll, aren't you supposed to serve the disenfranchised????

Janice Burrell: Called and asked if they accept books. The guy told me they did. When I got there the guy told me they were at their capacity for books. It was more like he didn't want to do the work to check them in. Every time I go there it is always a problem. They should tell you these things when you call. Since they don't I can only conclude that it's just a lazy employee. Extremely poor customer service.

solomon asefaw: I am writing this review to let Goodwill undermines its gools when it doesn't follow up its workers at the receiving and dropping gate of this location. Today at around 3:35pm when I came to donate, I was harassed by one Of the stuff at the gate. Goodwill should place professional stuff at the dropp of gate before it too late.

Franklin Owens III: I was there for clothing… but I can never pick out clothing in a thrift store, so I left with books. The store was well organized though. I tend to be a bit uncomfortable buying items out of thrift stores. I didn’t care much for the clothes. But there were other items in the home section were really nice. Everyone was nice in the thrift store. Even when I gathered a cart full of books and then realized I couldn’t use my clothing voucher on books😬😅

bluslushii: Been to multiple Goodwills, the staff was by far the most helpful and I honestly received the best customer service I did at any business. Definitely will be returning! Thank you so much ladies for being so kind and helpful!

672 Flats: what do users think?

Jennifer Roy: I have lived here for 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about this apartment building! The location is in a nice area and I have always felt safe. Management is the best that I have ever encountered and are always prompt in communicating any events, repairs or updates. If I have ever needed a repair done it is always completed asap. Highly recommend this apartment building to anyone looking to live in the Ballston area!
Response: Hi Jennifer, It has been great having you here as a resident at 672 Flats. Thank you for your feedback and we are glad to hear that you have enjoyed your time here. Best wishes in Florida!

Fatema Aldakheel: I would highly recommend the place! I knew I was going to live here the moment I saw my apartment during my tour. Very nice area, everything you need (restaurants, cafes, mall, cinema, hotels, pharmacy, supermarkets) are close by walking distance. The building is clean and brand new, and it is highly secured so you will definitely feel safe. Also, the staff are very friendly, and professional. They are certainly at your service.
Response: Hi Fatema, Thank you for your feedback and we are happy to hear that you are enjoying your time at 672 Flats. As always if you need anything or have any concerns please feel free to reach out to the office team. -Regards

Dee Buchholz: Scheduled a tour here since I was interested in a unit. The day of the tour, the manager called and had the tour pushed back a few hours since electricity went out in the building. I confirmed I was still available and traveled to the building at the new time. When I arrived, electricity was working just fine, but the leasing office was locked (despite the hours posted stating it would be open for two more hours). I called a few times and emailed but received no response. I waited about half an hour in case they were on another tour but no one returned or reached out after to apologize. If they treat prospective residents this bad then I can’t imagine how horrible it would be to live there
Response: Hello Dee Buchholz, I'm sorry we weren't able to connect with you for your scheduled tour. Due to the end of day timeline we were provided for possible power restoration we closed the office for the remainder of the day. We did try to reach out to you with the information you provided via phone and email to attempt to reschedule your tour. Unfortunately, we received an email from you once you left the property. If you are still in the market for a home we would be more than happy to reschedule your tour in-person or virtual. -Regards

Vin Foderingham: We moved to 672 Flats in January 2021 and love it here. Great location, right in the heart of Ballston. We saw this building last and knew we needed to be here. The management team for the building is great and very friendly. They communicated well and made everything transparent. The building is well run, very clean and the residents are very respectful. Amazingly I don’t hear my other neighbors at all. Upon move in we found a few small issues but the maintenance team is great and they respond quickly. Can’t say enough about this place and I plan on being here for a long time!
Response: Hi Vin, Thank you for your feedback! We are happy to hear you are enjoying experience at 672 Flats and the community's proximity to the Ballston Quarter. Should you ever need anything in the future, please do not hesitate to contact the Leasing Office at 672flats.pm@kettler.com Sincerely, Walter Firmin Jr.

Kerry Wahl: I've been living at 672 for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it. The staff in the leasing center have been beyond helpful with everything from leasing to move in to general needs. The apartment itself is beautiful and very comfortable for my dog and I, love the kitchen and the floor to ceiling windows! All of my neighbors are very friendly and respectful. You do get some upstairs noise from people walking heavily, but it's no more than any other apartment I've ever lived in. The location is fabulous, convenient to the metro, places to walk your dog, and food. Overall I would highly recommend living here.
Response: Hi KW, We are so happy to hear you and your pet are loving your new home at 672 Flats! We hope you will attend one of our Yappy Hour events in the future. Sincerely, 672 Flats Management

Bilbao baggins: Megonut at the leasing office is absolutely incompetent and will give you a hard time in scheduling a simple tour. She refused to show the apartment at several occasions for no reasons. Went in person to talk to someone else and found her sitting absolutely idle, while she told over the phone that she is busy all day touring and refused to schedule anything. She also misrepresented facts and lied about the details of the apartment too. Found the apartment to be quite different than what floor plan she gave. Beware if you get in touch with her, it's just one of those lousy leasing agents, trying to lie just to make you end up signing the lease. I hoped for a better experience looking at all these ratings.
Response: Hi Bilbao Baggins, Thank you for visiting 672 Flats. I'm sorry to hear that you had a hard time scheduling a tour of our community. For your convenience, you are able to schedule an appointment directly through the website. Please understand that during our peak season we typically have a high volume of tours scheduled in a day and some tours may run longer than others. Since we are a boutique style building, we strive to set aside an allotted time to give each of our prospective residents our undivided attention so that we can find the perfect home for their needs. Thank you for your feedback and please feel free to contact me at 672flats.pm@kettler.com for additional questions or concerns. Sincerely, Walter Firmin Jr., 672 Flats Community Manager

Grace Arnold: I have been living at 672 Flats for about 4 months and have absolutely loved it! The apartment units are sleek, modern, and comfortable; definitely some of the nicest apartment units in the Ballston neighborhood. The cleaning and maintenance staff are amazing: the apartment building is nearly spotless and the rare moment I had a maintenance request, maintenance responded immediately! The back alley is great for walking dogs and the apartment complex is nicely located (near a metro and mall/food court). Just like any other apartment building, there are flaws. I sometimes hear neighbors above and next to me and the package system can have some issues, especially if you get a package delivered post work hours. The leasing staff does a great job to locate packages if I didn’t get notified, but sometimes Amazon workers just won’t deliver your package when they try to deliver it in the evening because there is no staff to let them in/tell them how to log packages. Compared to other apartments I have lived in, I just have to be a little more on top of when I am expecting a package to make sure it actually retrieve it; I have never “lost” a package while at 672. Despite these few drawbacks, 672 Flats has been a great place to live! Thank you to the maintenance, cleaning, and leasing staff who make it so great :)
Response: Hi Grace, Thank you for your very high remarks about 672 Flats! We are so glad to hear you are enjoying the community and if there is anything we can do to help in the future please let us know. Sincerely, 672 Flats Management

Blake Neumann: My husband and I had to quickly move out of a bad apartment situation (3 flooding experiences in under a year!) and couldn't be more happy with 672. It's clean and quiet, and a friendly place to live! The amenities are good (computer room with free printing, gym with all the basics, easy package retrieval system) and the staff are always available and helpful. Maintenance has been responsive (though we haven't had to call them a ton!) and management is always hosting events to get residents out of their apartments (bootcamp classes, brunch, etc). A great place to live in a great location.
Response: Hi Blake, We are so glad we could be of assistance and help you find your new home after what sounds like a stressful search! We are also happy to hear you have been enjoying the community amenities and attending the monthly events. Feel free to reach out to us directly should you ever need anything. Kind regards, 672 Flats Management

Daniel Kim: I moved into this place during the pandemic. Had really high expectations, but overall pretty disappointed. I came from another Kettler property, and this one has real shoddy construction. For one, the bathtub was made incorrectly, crickety and poorly constructed When I moved in, there were multiple areas with orange mold. The ceiling stomps like crazy, can hear dinner chairs being pulled out, or people walking. Dishwasher already had some rust on it. Have had so many problems with appliances in general. Considering the fact that this place has amenities that are non existant, it's not worth the money to my eyes. I want to move out, despite the fact I've gotten pretty comfortable here.
Response: Hello Daniel, I'm sorry to hear your experience has not lived up to your expectations. We are committed to providing an excellent resident experience and saddened to hear that your experience has been less than stellar. Please feel free to contact us directly at 672Flats@kettler.com or (703)312-0672 so that we can address the issues you are having with your appliances. Thank you for being a valued resident at 672 Flats.

Antonio Caputo: We rented into this apartment complex without ever seeing the unit in person. We moved from across the country and were extremely concerned we made a big mistake. We have no regrets about our decision. This place has been everything we expected and more. The leasing management and maintenance group have been providing excellent service. The unit itself had some minor things that needed fixing but within same day of requiring maintenence the staff has resolved the issue. Location is outstanding and neighborhood has plenty to offer .
Response: Hi Antonio, Thank you for sharing your positive feedback about the team and the community! We are glad to have you as a valued resident. Please don't hesitate to contact us should you need anything in the future. Sincerely, 672 Flats Management

Uptown Cheapskate: what do users think?

Crystal Miller: I’m going to start this review by saying this entire company is racist. No person of color especially a black person should sell their things to this company. I brought in several items that had tags on them and because they didn’t fit the stereotype of the white area that it’s in they chose to say that my clothes wouldn’t sell. I know that that is a lie because I have seen plenty of college girls in that area wearing the exact same clothing. Same time in the store I found a black woman who wanted my new leather Zara dress that was originally $70 it was never worn. I ended up selling the dress to her in this store that claimed they did not have the clientele to take my items. What I got from the store was that the ownership is racist. They only want things that cater to white people even though they are in an ethnic area such as College Park. I have found plenty of black women in this specific area who would love the clothes that I brought in but it didn’t fit the white standard in the store so it wasn’t taken. I cannot speak for the manager because she tried to run away from the situation. However the people that do work there the staff they are friendly they are lovely however I will never recommend any person of color to go to the store to bring your clothes because it’s not white enough. On top of that they took two items who were in worse condition than the rest of the clothes that were in great condition because it fit the white aesthetic in the area.
Response: Hi Crystal. Uptown Cheapskate College Park is black-owned and -operated. The majority of folks who buy from and sell to us as well as most of our employees are people of color. The company is not racist just because we were not interested in purchasing your items.

Ricky Gomez: I will start this review by saying that the workers are super friendly and nice , the reason i am giving this place a 1 start reviews because I brought in a pair of slightly used Jordan’s with the box (both with the same Serial number ) and everything to get them appraised and sold . Well I come to find out that I had to wait TWO WHOLE HOURS for them to examine the pair of shoes . They give me a call to come back into the store just to tell me they couldn’t “ authenticate “ the shoes and basically told me I brought in fake Jordan’s . They’re reason for saying this is because “ they don’t have the factory smell (obviously because they WORN Jordan’s ) and because the jump man logo had a little bit of glue that was visible (obviously from the manufacture process). It’s ridiculous to me that a store that buys and sell streetwear products can’t tell the difference between an original shoe vs a knockoff . Retros Jordan that release now a days aren’t made like they were 10+ years ago . The quality and materials they use aren’t definitely not what they used to be , now with that being said regardless of the quality its not hard to tell a real Jordan Vs a fake and mines weren’t perfect but they were in great condition with no sighs of knockout to a trained eye . So I took my business elsewhere and just shipped them to goat and check this out guys , they authenticated the pair in less then 24 hours of me shipping out the pair of shoes . Complete waste of time .
Response: Hi Ricky. Thanks for taking the time to review. Glad you were able to sell your Jordans. Out of an abundance of caution we often have to turn away items. The process is always smoother if the customer is able to provide proof of purchase or other material to guarantee authenticity.

Xiaojing Mao: I’m not sure if it was because I came by on Friday afternoon and no one wanted to work, I was not only illy treated but also asked to bring back all the stuff they don’t buy, even after I selected the “donate to charity” option in their system. There’s also no recycle bin nearby, I have to walk one block away to drop off the rest of my stuff. Considering the extremely low price offer they gave on the items they wanted to buy, it’s really not worth the effort paying this visit. I recommend donating your clothes directly.
Response: Hello Xiaojing. Thanks for taking the time to review. We try to give everyone a great experience. Unfortunately the automated checking system does not reflect the fact that we have not been taking donations since the pandemic began. All customers at drop off are informed that they are required to take back any items we are unable to purchase. We are not responsible for the whereabouts of local recycling bins but are glad you found an option. If you would like to provide more information about your experience please call 240-553-7271 and ask for Liz. Your feedback can help us improve our customer service.

Mindalay Bay: Very friendly staff & impressive mens collection. However, I value my time and don’t appreciate waiting almost 2 hours to be told they wouldn’t take any of my items (considering I arrived 10 minutes after they opened, had 1 person ahead of me, and was told it would only take an hour). Before I made this trip I made sure to include things they were interested in according to their Facebook posts. I was told they’d take a few things but it wasn’t worth it. Pretty sure something is worth more than nothing. Anyway, I don’t plan on coming back to this location since it was a hike for me and a complete waste of my time. Not looking for an apology or a response with an excuse.

Veronica: I am giving a one star due to the obvious following an employee with green hair was doing. She followed me and my younger sisters various times and just wandering around wherever we were when she was doing absolutely nothing or pretending to do “work”. We come to buy clothes in PEACE not to be harassed for our race or have someone think we’re thieves. She wandered around us a lot but not the white couple that was in there as well, how funny. Shame on that employee and whoever may have told her to do that. Next time she’s gonna get called out for that. Besides that, I would’ve given the store 5 stars because they have great clothes and it’s very clean. The cashier Samuel was so sweet and funny, maybe she could learn a thing or two from him.
Response: Hi Veronica. Thanks for taking the time to review and bringing your experience to our attention. I am sure no profiling took place and our employee was trying to do their job as best they could. If an employee is ever making you uncomfortable please bring it to a managers attention to address. Sam is fantastic. I will pass on your kind words to him.

Teetee Foster: I called up there 3 times to confirm that they accept DESIGNER SHOES . I asked them do y’all accept all designer shoes they answer was “YES “ . So when I drove 30 mins away from home to try sell my shoes they told me my shoes was over budget meaning they couldn’t accept them . If you know designer shoes gonna be HIGH , why say y’all accept all designer shoes ? . DONT WASTE YOUR TIME .
Response: Thanks for taking the time to review. We do take designer shoes for every budget. We currently have Prada, Raf Simons, Balenciaga, Manolos, etc but we can not guarantee purchase until we have seen items in person. Style, condition, demand and season are some of the factors besides brand that help us determine whether to make a purchase. Hope you are able to find a buyer for your shoes.

Felt God: they be spamming they took 6 items for 16 dollars and 3 items for 6 dollars they selling for 8.99 one of my items for more they offered me. this the type of store you go to turn your clothes in to get better clothes with store credit NOT to sell your clothes here. maybe the more clothes you have the more you will make. they do have the drip in there for decent prices tho actual designer. anything they take they should sell for at least 5 dollars an item thanks for attending my ted talk
Response: Hello. Thanks for taking the time to review and Ted talk. When you choose store credit you will receive 25% more than our cash offer. When you sell you will receive only a percentage of the price the item is marked - generally somewhere between 24 - 50% depending on style, demand, etc. You are always welcome to decline our offer if you are not satisfied. We do have a great selection at fantastic prices.

Joshua Newman: Hello, I can’t help to notice a handful of bad reviews. I must say my experience has been different. Everyone is kind, down to earth and super welcoming. The clothing is all quality brands and in good condition. It takes them up to 40 minutes to look through the clothes people want to sell them so they can assure quality. This is not an antique store nor your traditional thrift store. I definitely recommend checking it out.
Response: Hi Joshua. Thanks for taking the time to review. We are trying really hard during very trying times so it’s wonderful to receive some positive acknowledgment of our efforts. Hope to see you again soon.

Duncan: good cloths, good shoes, all very clean, got called "boss" a lot :D
Response: Hey Duncan. Thanks for taking the time to review. We try to make sure everyone has a good shopping or vending experience!

Andrea Angel: I take care of my shoes but some how aren’t In good conditions. They look the same as I bought them. Lastly, If you do sell they try to give you the lowest. Look around and you’ll see the conditions of their clothing honestly better off selling on offer up. I clearly went to both if I put down a review. Thanks for having time to verify though. Maybe better service and attitude will leave you better reviews.
Response: Hi Andrea. Can’t help but notice this is the exact same post you left on Plato’s site. We encourage you to exhaust all your resale options.

Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store: what do users think?

Noor Ayoob: Great run with the family today to Goodwell there was so many stuff to buy good used equipment. Clean store parking was available on site great customer service . Keep up the great work.

Sandra Penoyar: Beautiful setting. Good food and drinks! Can't wait to go again

Natalie Forbes: I love thrifting at places like this because of the great finds you can get for low prices. That being said.... I've never been to a goodwill where things were high priced like this.... sneakers for 40$, jeans for 15$, select items in the 15-30$ price range. Also not a good selection of items at this store. Really turned me off...

Sharon: Went yesterday around 2pm The store itself is smaller than the goodwills ive been in before, but also more organized! I think their best section is the long sleeve shirts for women, I think they have some real gems in there! Workers are nice and it was an easy checkout. Would recommend if you need a blouse or just want to browse!

Robert Garrett: The Falls Church store is messy. The shelves are badly disorganized. The prices of many items are ridiculously high compared to the Annandale and Fairfax City stores. The staff were surly and sometimes rude. I won't be back.

T: A medium-sized store with a pretty decent selection on used pieces. I came out with two really nice dresses both brand new with the tags still on them and a skirt that still have the tags on it so it was new as well I also found a nice straw beach bag for the summer. The staff was very kind and helpful and the store was very clean I will definitely get back here 😊 Sorry guys I forgot to take pics this time!

Elmer And Liz Gonzalez: Two stars is just right, goodwill has become so overpriced that at today date I rather buy new instead, pair of shoes for $40 already used? No way, those used stuffs are donations, so should be priced accordingly not even higher than new. Check for yourself.

BEN watson: Fantastic service, nice stuff and great prices. Got a like new backpack for $9

Benjamin Medina: Don't waste your time with this store! They are over priced in all their items, and have some AWEFUL customer service issues! I grabbed a shirt from the same rack, go to to checkout and they tell me two different prices. I attempt to understand why two similiar shirts are marked differently, so the cashier, in spite, just charged me the higher price! Secondly, I was interested in a item, but it was in a bad shape for $200, again I was treated with bad service.

Marco Montoya: This a donation drop-off review: In a nutshell, one of the easiest and simplest donation drop-offs I have ever done. I drove up to the rear of the store where there was a woman handling the donations outside. All I had to do was wait in a car line of one, which took about 2 minutes, then drove up. She helped me unload my items from my trunk, and handed me a receipt when we were done. Start to finish: about 7 minutes tops. I will definitely donate here again. (I had initially tried donating to a women's shelter as I have done in other states I have lived, but apparently here in NoVa it is not as simple as all that; they were the ones that told me to just donate to the Goodwill. Done, and done.

Unique: what do users think?

Abi Maghamfar: A place to donate unwanted items and buy used items from furniture to toys to kitchenware, clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, etc at reasonable prices. If you buying toys, puzzles and games or anything that have multiple pieces, makes sure all pieces are there as this has been one of the disappointing aspects of buying stuff here. The other disappointment is the lack of organization and cleanliness of the facility. Love the idea of recycling and reusing rather than sending them to the wasteland and Unique provides that opportunity.

Alice L.: Unique Thrift is a for-profit enterprise owned by Savers, which is owned by a private equity firm in the Seattle area. It is NOT a charity shop and does not donate its profits to charity. Their website clearly states: "Shopping in our stores does not support any non-profit." The company says it purchases donated items from some local non-profits; however, it does not release details on these buying deals. The company is large and owns many thrift stores around the country. I mention this because there are true charity shops in the area--including Goodwill, Urban Thrift, Salvation Army, church shops, etc.--that are actually charities and donate their profits to charity. Some of the real charity shops are even run by volunteers working for no pay in order to help the cause. A lot of people seem to think Unique is a charity and the attorney general in Minnesota has in the past accused this company of misrepresenting how much it gives to charity. So if you have lovely and near-new items to donate, I highly suggest donating them to authentic charity shops. I frequently shop the charity shops, but I also shop at Unique. Unique Thrift is still a worthwhile place to shop and I have found many nice items for good prices. It is pretty well managed and prices are marked clearly. The merchandise is generally clean and not damaged, although you have to examine your items carefully. There are 7-day exchanges but only for clothing and shoes. Be very careful buying anything else that might have defects, such as luggage, electronics, furniture, etc. Some items do have hidden damage so you have to look carefully. There are discounts here on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only so those days tend to be crowded.

JJ Edwards: Its a huge thrift store, as afar as I know and for so many thrift store I had visited this is my favorite one. They have huge selection of clothes, shoes, toys, books, furniture, kitchen ware and many more. Worth to check out!

Sara O'Brien: I have been going to this place for years and always felt welcome, but today was the worst experience of my life. We were in line for self checkout, when I saw that register 18 was open, as I proceeded with my daughter to the register the woman that was in charged of self checkout named Charika told us, "come here because I cannot see what you ring there." We walked to the register that she told us and as I scanned this woman stands there staring at us scan each item. I was already getting upset because she was staring at us scan as if we were the only customers there or as if we were thieves. After scanning 7 items this woman proceeds to approach my bag and count the items that I had placed inside the bag to make sure it matched the amount of items on the screen. I felt that we were being treated as thieves. I got so upset, I asked for the manager, but she said no one was available, so I took a picture of her ID card. This woman stood staring at our register until we finished ringing every item as if we were thieves. People go to the thrift store for many reasons, but in no moment should they be harassed by anyone. This store needs to train its employees to be courteous and not target people

li garcia: Good thrift store. Nice selections of everything. All staff and personnel are nice and friendly except for the old lady at the register. Very mean ! Unfriendly! And the voice specially when she’s on the speaker. She’s always mad and unhappy person. I’m sure I’m not the only one noticing it!

Par and: It was my worst horrible thrifting experience ever. This Women Charika was extremely rude, and treated people as if they are thieves, it was traumatizing to see her digging into ppl's card at checkout and checking every single items aggressively. This store will go out of business soon, because of this women "Chaika", who enjoys harassing customers. Not to mention the store was extremely dirty, and messy.

Cynethea: This is a big store. They have household items, furniture, bedding, books, toys and more. I always leave there loaded up with great finds. It has a huge clothing section. I always find some of the best sweaters and tops. It's a great place to shop especially if you have limited funds. Tuesday is discount day. Check out lines move quickly. Team members are very pleasant.

That Brunette: High volume thrift store. Very busy with customers every day of the week. The turnover of stuff is high so, if you see something you like grab it. I've seen collectors and resellers in this store. Lots of kids playing in the toy section while the parents shop.

Ariel S.B.: My favorite thrift store! Yeah, some of the prices are just a little bit higher than your average goodwill, but the quality of items is so much better. I’ve seen brand new items from designer stores, sometimes with the tags still on them. Stuff is actually trendy and cute and not dated. They have clothes in every size, the selection is huge! Definitely visit if you’re looking to revamp your wardrobe.

Pr Katz: Love this place! Having a party? Get all the great Pyrex and serveware you need - have awesome BoHo mismatched fine china place settings, accessorize with cheap stuff from the craft store and outlet stores, and you've got a magazine worthy party photo at a price you can afford. Best of all? After the party, I box it up and redonate it back to the Great Stuff Stream (thrift store) for the next person. No new manufacturing, no waste, no piles of seldom used party supplies cluttering up the house. Perfect 👌🏼 Update: the masks are getting OLD! Self check out. Not shopping or donating here again.

Ross Dress for Less: what do users think?

Hilda Kroll: The location, in the heart of Old Town, is great for someone like me who uses public transportation. I can have lunch at a great restaurant, enjoy the Torpedo Factory, browse in the thrift shops, sit and look out at the water, and then shop at Ross for clothing, housewares, spices, or any number of things I didn't realize I needed. Then easy access to a bus or Metro to head for home with my purchases.

Cindy Ly: The store looks a bit run down, but if you have time, there are some great deals here. There’s a variety of stuff you can choose from.

Mais K: SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I tried to exchange items for which I lost my reciept and the cashier literally asked me how I passed the LSAT if I was so irresponsible as to lose my reciept?? And the manager just stood by and listened??? They were extremely patronizing and basically made me beg them just to go through the process of exchanging my stuff, which is PART OF ROSS POLICY! They tried give me $50 store credit max, even though my items cost $250 bc “they didn’t want to” exchange all my items. I was actually shocked I was bargaining with them to abide by the policies at all other Ross locations - or to just be decent with me. I asked the woman the price of something and she said “do you think I’m slow????” And I was like WAT is happening lol - one of the most unprofessional and rude encounters I’ve had with a person, much less an employee!!!!!!!!

Dan H: I will say this is a unique ross- Street parking “paid” The store is small to other locations- however they do have good finds inside, found a bunch of big and tall tees under $7 each! The jewelry was sorta plain and basic house goods were decent, no furniture- worth visiting.

Carole Klaue: Very nice deals. Four stairs to get inside as sunken shop zone. Nice prices and grandkids found some nice clothes. No masks required.

Bouchra Smai: I brought last week GUESS 1981 50 Ml, women pink oneWorse choice no fragrance, it's just alcohol and nice bottle.

Matthew Garten: Lots of name brand at a bargain. Efficient, helpful staff. Very well set up for social distancing.

Shroom Butter: I bought a small unusual fabric stool here for my aging cat so that he can get up onto my bed at night for stuggles. He's 15. He's precious and so is the strange stool I bought for him from Ross.

Betsy York: Alway a delightful fun time for exploration of esothetic treasures. I am always fascinated at the wide variety of items one can discover at fantastic prices. Dresses, shoes, cooking gear as well as bedding to namea few. My summer favorites were the exception planters for my beautiful garden and high end brand name cosmetics neatly boxed for hygienic and security purposes. So happy ROSS DRESS FOR LESS is open again. Special thanks to all employees for their loyal service. Today's gift to myself and the gardens was a turquoise glass wind chime in a seaside style for great summer celebrations.

Brittany Walker: I have a mixed review of this location because I am always able to find dresses at bargain prices being a size xl. On the other hand, I never find fashion forward shoes here, and all of the body spray I like never has tops. Cant win them all I guess.

Nordstrom Rack: what do users think?

Bojana Stef: I never had such a negative experience in Nordstrom. There is a clear sign at the entrance door and in the store stating that if I download their app-get $5off. In from of the cashier and later store manager Ronda I did that and then they declined to give me $5 off as some banner on the app didn't show up - no explanation no nothing. I never had the Nordstrom app before (during covid, I was in Europe, and I just came back, so I didn't have the app). I will communicate this to Nordstrom.as well. If something is advertised, they have to honor it.
Response: We're sorry to hear this was your experience and for any inconvenience this has caused. If you would like any additional follow up to discuss this experience further, please send us an email to dgtlstrrvwsmb@nordstrom.com with more details as well as your contact information and we can certainly arrange that. -Tasha

Darlene jackson: 8/28/21, Voting rights March bring me to DC. And provides me an opportunity to check out Nordstrom Rack. I haven't done so in NY. SALES TIME! I bought 2 $15 T- shirt dresses and a $ 10 sweater!Great bargains at DC's Nordstrom Rack!

Jason Almeida: Great place for branded items at discounted prices. Ok maybe they might not be the style of the season but it's still worth it. Street parking is easily available all around the store. It's not as big as some of the other outlets but you'll still find a great verity of products

Hilda Kroll: The only department store in the area. Clean and organized so that it's easy to find what you're looking for.

George Brightman: Plenty of stock, although uneven from department to department. Staff on hand were friendly, capable and obviously very busy ( probably quite a few out sick or under quarantine ) -- so bring your own sense of fashion, do some browsing, and go home with some serious bargains !

40ish Sophisticate: This is the worst Rack I have ever been to and I am a frequent shopper plus a Nordstrom card holder for decades. The service is very poor. Lots of standing around, only one person checking out but plenty of security though. Will not return. This an update- I am just now seeing that the cashier did not credit my account for my return! This is absolutely unacceptable! I wish I never shopped at this location 😪
Response: Hello, We're sorry to hear about your recent experience at our store. Thank you for your feedback and we'll be sure to share this with our teams.

M Hunt: Horrible "customer service" at this location. Employees are rude and extremely unhelpful. I understand that retail has its challenges and am completely empathetic; however, multiple employees across the board at this location are downright terrible at their job and their attitude is even worse.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. We're truly sorry for the disappointing experience and will send this feedback over to our teams. - Trevor

Jon Scott: You never know what you are going to see in the mens shoe dept. I usually come here to ' just browse' but most of the time I find my self purchasing yet another a new pair of kicks!

Stacy Lemery: Nordstrom Rack is a great place, in-person or online for a myriad of goods, particularly shoes since Nordstrom the Department store is known for shoes and carrying extended sizes. I have noticed a shift in the Nordstrom Rack stores to now carry home goods like sheets and bedding. Be careful if you go in there - it's easy to shop, shop, shop!

Leonard Schneider: Great location. Some of the Racks are hit or miss, this is one of the good ones. Nice staff

H&M: what do users think?

Georgia Hensley: I really enjoyed visiting this H&M. We needed new dresses before going out for a night on the city so we stopped by the H&M closest to our hotel. My sister and I bought a few blouses and some really nice dresses. This place is clean, modern and shiny! Lots of inventory to look through. We were pleasantly surprised. Cute kids clothes as well. This H&M is located at 1025 F St. NW in Washington DC

Gothicah: On certain days, can display a great selection of good finds... on other days it can just be a very messy store. But one of the regular locations I frequently visit.

Lorraine McGhee: The cloth is beautifully set up to pull you in, prices good. Helpful staff, need more smiles though. Other than that I will go there again to by clothes that actually fits my shape and makes me look 👍👍👍👍👍.

Your Helpful Wendy: The lady in the cash register were so nice with me helping me with the questions I have. I signed up to their rewards program to get points on my future shopping. The store was a little confusing. They had good sales.

Jamie McIlwaine: I love H&M but not this location. They could care less about customer service.

Renita Lake: I almost never walk out of here empty handed🤣🤣 I took advantage of the sale and bought 2 sweaters. The associates are always nice and friendly, and the registers are always speedy at this location.

Dayili 7: Mmm it’s good but expensive.

May Arnold: I really like the fabrics they work with, it doesn’t give me allergies .

Uptown Girl: The staff is so miserable. I like shopping this store when I’m downtown, but would rather shop online to avoid rude employees. The people that work on the second level are the absolute worst. They go out of their way to ignore you.

Bonnie: Clothes are well organized but a staff who worked upstairs on 7/11 around 5-6 pm was not friendly to customers. I only asked what time they close the store and she said 7 pm and didn't even look at me and seemed very ungrateful and bothered.

H&M: what do users think?

Chelsey Birgisdóttir: Olivia and Adrian were so kind and helpful during my shopping experience. They are GEMS!

Tanya R: Very cheap clothing with strange cuts. Suited for 20s and early 30s age ranges.

Duke T. (Duke): Great. Guys fitting room closed--- go upstairs/elevator. Hugs

ajenae' herbert: Very well organized store. Love the business clothes selection. However, all the clothes seemed to be the last in sizes on the floor and staff didn’t offer to check backstock for anything. Nice store, needs better customer service.

D McC: Clean store and well stocked but long line with 1 cashier.

Ernesto Severino Escaler: Sub Par. Sale rep didn’t have scissors to remove tags and prices and the “red stickers” on the sale racks are mis leading. It’s the price of the lowest priced item on the rack, not the actual rack itself.

Sandra Andrade: Found items at great price.

Cristian M: Nice store but no kids section

matthew mckee: Great prices.. fun store.. I was mad I couldn't buy my wife the dress they had in the window but found something decent.

Tino M-Ze: This store is big and they always have a wide selection of newly release clothes. The clothes isles are very organized and accordingly from smaller size in the front and larger size in the back. Therefore easy to find what you’re looking for. They got rid of their huge nail polish and makeup station and replaced it with jewelry. Don’t try to start a nice conversation with their cashiers because they are not interested in small talk even though your just asking them how their day is going.

REI Co-op: what do users think?

Michael Brown: As a company, REI should not inflict their political beliefs onto customers. That said, they carry good gear and this particular location is fantastic. Every time I have come here they have exactly what I need. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. I don’t know who makes REI branded clothes and gear, but they do a good job.

Mike R: I like this store for so many reasons. First: they have excellent customer service. Today I walked in with my bike to get my flat tire fixed. A woman approached me and signed me in. Then a man walked up to me and asked if I would like to him to park my bike. I was appalled by this gesture. Second: This establishment has everything here. I mean like… leave that bike area if you want to. You will be buying anything from energy gel to underwear. Third: conveniently located right beside the metro.

Anne Probst: Thank you Jeremy in cycling for taking care of my bike I commute on. Haley assisted and was down to earth and happy. High five to Micah in footwear who helped me find a size in a scarpa I haven’t been able to find in stores in 4 years. He’s super knowledgeable and was connecting with all the customers. Thank you REI DC!

Patrick F.: The 2 stars is not for the products, it's for the lack of service. Lord forbid you need some help. I waited forever even after pushing this button (photo) and a guy that was helping someone else acknowledged they heard me and would be coming. Still waiting as I type this. FYI, I have purched thousands from this store....sigh!!

Louisa Buatti: I visited REI for the first time since the pandemic began. My pick up of an online order went very smoothly. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful--they all offered to direct me to the customer service/pick up area. I was in and out of the store in a flash.

Andrea Wu: I came here to pick up my shoes that I ordered online, and after trying them out in nature, they were too big so I came back to return and get new ones. The staff helping me was very helpful, bringing me different shoes for me to try on. I finally got a pair that fit properly, and checkout was pretty speedy too. Parking on the street might be a bit tough, but it's not too bad!

H Gill: Great store! love REI… but checking out here is always a 15 min wait. The checkout line moves at a snail’s pace, and the managers/supervisors don’t seem to care. I’ve seen customers put items down and leave out of frustration.

Rebecca Tolbert: Generally a good store, but the parking situation is currently very weird. You park in the parking deck and then have to walk all the way around a whole city block because they have blocked off the elevator and stairs. So, you drive into the parking deck and then have this surprise journey ahead of you, through a sketchy alley and everything. Just wanted to give other customers a heads up!

Ben Layton: Bike shop effectively closes at 6:30, not 7:00, since you have to get on a wait-list to get the bike checked in and the wait-list closes at 6:30. Called in advance and told them when I'd get there and they didn't mention that, so came all the way here for nothing. Turnaround on basic repairs also 9-10 days rn, which is honestly nuts.

R: Oddly enough they aren’t dog friendly yet I saw a pitbull walking around without a service vest. The area around is horrendous, good luck finding a parking spot. Really disappointed that REIs aren’t dog friendly yet their competitors REI and Bass Pro is.

Six Flags America: what do users think?

Joshua Russell: We started coming here in the Fall of 2021 and decided to purchase season pass, they are very affordable. We have come a few times and I have been really impressed. They have different themes through the year which is nice to see how they decorate and celebrate. We have been to Halloween, Christmas and just went to the Fiesta theme. The wait times were really fast or nonexistent for all the rides. They had water sprinklers going which was good because it was so hot! Our family enjoyed all the rides throughout the day. There is always a staff member nearby ready to help which was really great to see and we saw a lot of people cleaning the park throughout the day. I do wish there was more mobile food ordering available though, when we were looking only one location was offering mobile orders, so hopefully that will grow. Overall great park for the family!
Response: We appreciate the review. Thank you for taking the time. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Alexandra Gross: Was very pleasantly surprised! Thought it was going to be a small cute park, but there was SO much to do there! The performers were absolutely fantastic and so talented in so many different shows! The park was very well maintained and all the staff were kind and friendly. I'm from NJ and this Six Flags definitely has mine beat!
Response: Thanks for the great review. Have a great day!

Tim Bergstrom: Great place to take kids in DC for a break from museums and tours. I enjoy museums and tours quite a bit, but let’s be honest, for kids, they can be little bit like a church service. Six Flags gave my kids and me a break from the usual and gave them a chance to blow off steam. Our favorite rides were Superman, Bat Wing, Joker’s Jinx and the Firebird. Have fun.
Response: Glad to learn your experience was a positive one. Hope to see you again soon!

Rittik Bhowmik: Great experience. Strong suggestion is to get the tickets online before visiting, there is almost always a long queue for tickets. Most of the rides were usually not that busy, so everyone can finish all the rides at-least ones, and can even go for seconds if interested.
Response: Thank you for the review. Have a wonderful day!

Jeremiah Gore: Needs another solid coaster as Superman Ride of Steel is great but where is the number 2 coaster? Some good rides throughout the park including a fun coaster built in 1917...The Wild One. By far this Six Flags has the friendliest staff of any Six Flags park... including multiple manager level employees we met while walking around the park.
Response: Hi, thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your experience. I am pleased to hear that our team made your experience pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

pam wright: Rides were barley open, lazy river, the pool with the purple slide, the purple & green slide, renegade rapids, penguin blizzard, shipwreck falls, & more ALL we’re NOT OPEN! I don’t understand why these rides are not open. You pay your money to come here, but it’s not worth it because more than half of there rides are not operating. What a shame Not to mention I have diamond elite membership, I pay 20$ extra per month for what idk? Need to cancel that! Update 6/28/2022 im going to change my rating from 1 star ⭐️ to four stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I came back here again to give them another chance. Can you believe it after maybe 1-2 years the finally opened the lazy river.. Wow renegade rapids, penguin blizzard, shipwreck falls, was opened today. It’s good to arrive early get a good spot, we ordered food it was ready and condiments was available. 🤩 However, the staff there are really young and the don’t know how to talk to people & families. They all act like they don’t want to work.
Response: We appreciate the review. Thank you for taking the time. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Terri Young: If you want to be able to ride the rides without a long wait go early during the week.. We were able to ride the rides several time without a long wait park is not that crowded when u go early it was a nice experience 😉. By the time we were ready to go the park was getting a bit crowded....
Response: Thank you for the rating. If you’d like to share any details about your experience, we are always looking for ways to improve.

Shah Md Mayen Uddin Chistee: This a great family fun place. There are so many rides that you will never get bored. I enjoyed most of the rides I took. You can take your kids there and they will love it. I recommend buying online entry ticket and parking pass. This will save some time for you.
Response: Hi Shah Md Mayen Uddin, we’re thrilled to get this kind of feedback. Thank you for taking the time to review us. Hope to see you again soon!

tammy mcilhaney: Wait ?? There are rides here ?? Could’ve fooled me!! Everything is closed! Workers cranky! Burger was a joke! Shops closed “register” issue. Maybe 1/4 of the food stands open. Maybe 1/2 the rides open. Got stuck on the Superman! The one operator for a ride abandoned her post because of a spider!

Christopher Lew: tl;dr: Relatively inexpensive tickets for a pretty fun time, although the park does its very best to nickel and dime you. Park is pretty small, but can definitely do the entire park in 1 day (depending on ride lines). Rides - 3/5: The roller coasters were very fun! The wooden roller coasters look like they could fall apart at any moment, and are so rickety it made our party very nauseous. My favorite was the batwing, and the waiting times were not crazy. It could be the time of year but the average wait time for the rides were ~ 5 minutes. Getting to the park - 4/5: Buying tickets online was very straightforward and you are paying for both Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor which is the water park. Very easy access from DC (only a 30 minute drive). Parking online is cheaper than at the gate, but when we went the POS stations were down, so they let us park for free ($30 normally)! Lots of parking with good markings to remember where you parked. Very little security at the door which was kinda concerning, but we were able to bring in snacks. Food - 1/5: We were very nauseous from some of the roller coasters, and wanted to buy some ginger ale, and it was literally 6 dollars a bottle. There is a mildly concerning food stall called ChopSix (like six flags) with "Chinese" font that served knock-off panda express at double the price. Very overpriced. We kept food in our car, and went outside the park (we could reenter) to eat.
