Secondi Inc: what do users think?

Sophie Jylan: My first time going to a consignment shop, and i had a great time! Everything was organized and there was a great selection of clothes and accessories. The shop was very cute, and i loved the feel of the small second story shop. Fitting rooms are open too. Prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be making this a regular stop in the future.

Alyssa Cooper: This place is the single best thrift/consignment shop I’ve ever visited. They carry a variety of designer and high-quality pieces. Go early in the morning when the shop first opens for the best selection and service…it’s gets super busy on weekends and evenings.

Lori Penix: I stumbled on this store while traveling from Los Angeles. I absolutely LOVE this place. Great items at prices that work well for me. I will keep in touch. ❤️

Pretty Chic DC - New, Vintage, Consignment Women's Clothing: what do users think?

Samantha Varney: An amazing gem! A must stop if you are a vintage shopper. They have the largest selection of items and the staff is so friendly.

Araminta Watson: Some great finds!! Lovely store

Mary bradshaw: I have had wonderful luck finding gowns and cocktail dresses for special occasions. The owner, after listening closely to my wishes and tastes, always manages to pull something elegant from her extensie inventory. Most recently, my great find was a designer cocktail suit still proffering its tags. It had never been worn..I received many compliments.

Denise: Such a great store! The pieces are really chic, stylish, unique and high quality. The owner is super amazing, welcoming and kind! Her customer service is unbeatable. A must-go shop in Georgetown!

Sarah Ruehle: You HAVE to come to this place. The clothes here are gorgeous, classic, quality, and reasonably priced! Holly Golightly would def shop here for her style, for perspective. The owner is kind and helpful and lovely. This is a must for consignment shoppers with classic style!

Kayla Aburida: hidden gemPretty chic is one of a kind. you will find so many unique beautiful pieces in the shop. highly recommend, especially to those searching for thrift stores around D.C.

Maeve Lopez: this store was so nice!! there is a beautiful garden in the back that had a bunch of pretty clothes and there are also beautiful pieces of jewelry upfront.

Zeynep Kocabal: I absolutely love Pretty Chic! When you enter this store, you will think that you have found your long lost friend from High School. The owner has such a nice personality, and she goes out of her way to make everyone welcomed. The selection is wonderful, and one never can guess what one will find. All styles are current and in great condition. I would recommend this store a million times over. The owner’s customer service and high quality items, make Pretty Chic my favorite store in Georgetown.

Aria Johnson: Came here with my sister 2 weeks ago and it was our first time thrifting. Absolutely fell in love with this shop. Very nice pieces for great prices!!

Clothes Encounters DC: what do users think?

Abbey Linsk: This place is a gem! I stop by whenever I can to see what they have. They carry great brands -- everything from J.Crew to St. John! I got a classic red Burberry dress from here for just $80! Store is clean and employees are just lovely!

Bart Zwaard: A wonderful store staffed by lovely people. There is always something fantastic to find in this consignment shop. I love their jewelry selection and it is my go to spot for finding gifts for my wife. Everyone at the counter is so helpful and they really take the time to help find the perfect item you are looking for.

Julia Beatty: This place is truly a gem in the middle of the Eastern Market area. They have a huge variety of consignment items in wonderful shape, lots to browse! On my first visit there, I found a pair of Cole Haan nude flats for only $10! Will definitely be back to shop again soon.

Karen Petersen Finch Whitworth University: I try to stop by here once a week. I have made great finds for reasonable prices! There is a range available from designer down to more basic (Clark’s shoes for 20.00). The buyers have a great sense of quality and style. Merchandise moves through more quickly than in some small stores. But best of all are the women who work and shop there. They lift my spirits every time.

Deb B: Great store! I often consign there and usually get a fair price for my items. Gayle and her team are always very nice although they get busy during certain hours. I have found a lot of really unique items there I will treasure forever. Like any other consignment store sometimes inventory is amazing, and other times it’s just OK. But that’s the reason to keep going back.

Frugalista: what do users think?

Blessing Okafor: Amazingly cute items for a pretty reasonable price!!! I bought 11 items for about $75, and that included sweaters (many are currently discounted for $4.99 + tax each) and a cute pair of Marc Fisher sandals. Highly recommend to check out!!

Leslie Williston: Good place for some good finds! Pretty cheap clothes. In a basement so it kind of looks fake but i promise it’s real. employees were really friendly.

P B: I love Frugalista - satisfies my “shoppy” urge and I can’t even calculate the money I’ve saved. Very little is beyond $20. Not that it’s so important lately, but I’ve gotten a lot of really good quality work clothing especially there! Also found a lot of great Boden clothing, which makes me happy. Plus every single pair of shorts I own, from nicer ones to super casual (all $7)! And the people who work there are also really nice.

Tristana Fiscella: Fun spacious second hand store that you can get lost in for an hour or two listening to the radio. Bring a tape measure and hone in on measurements, cut and color instead of Brand hype and Size label madness. NOT a thrift store and the prices reflect that. They pay rent, employees and keep on keeping on after many years in the neighborhood. Besides, you may come across practical, well-made clothing at a reasonable price or at the very least walk out smug & virtuous, w. your Green Fashion ideals fulfilled for the day.

Keri Panatier: Fun small thrift store! Many great finds - coats, shoes, accessories

Current Boutique: what do users think?

Lauren Hoffman: Great consignment shop! Have only visited to shop, not to sell, but am very impressed by the quality and curation of clothing within. Also appreciate that they organize by size and have abundant, well-lit fitting rooms. Wish they had more accessories and jewelry, and found that they had something like a 10:1 ratio of tops to bottoms, which was odd? But really fun to browse.

Marie Eichholtzer (Marieichho): Great to have a second hand shop with current brands and not only vintage clothes. Always great finds.

Inga's Once Is Not Enough: what do users think?

Alice E. Ridgway: Not only do you get great deals at this location but the proceeds for some of the sales go to support Walter Reed. But be prepared, this is not just your regular consignment shop. All of the clothes are top brand high end so even a discount is not inexpensive.

Wilma Jones: I have used this store a couple of times and I always get just what I need. I am an African American woman with natural hair and both times Inga greeted me warmly, guessed my size, asked what I was looking for and helped me find it! Love this store.

Jackie Vann: Nice selection and wonderful customer service. Was very helpful and courteous, although I did not find anything on this visit. I will definitely be visiting again.

RF Br2mllc: Fabulous shop in every way! Most likely the best in the nation.

Johnna Raskin: I found a ring for $18 that looks like a designer one! I have bought dresses, a hat and other items - love this store and the people who run it!

Rosario's Thrift Store: what do users think?

Liliana Angulo: This store is HIDDEN GEM!!! A lot of name brands for great prices. They have awesome deals! $1 apiece racks and 3 pieces for $10 racks. I got a pair of like-new Vince Camuto wedges for just $3!!! They are very welcoming and friendly. They even greet repeat customers by their names. Highly recommended!!!

Lolita Brogsdale: My first time coming there....it was nice...clean and organized. I will be back again soon. You now have yourself a new customer....thank yoy for your customer service and your gratitude😊

Hangda Zhang: [Updated] Just went recently. The owner is friendly and this place has a lot of clothes at affordable price. Make sure not to go last minute because this area doesn’t get much foot traffic and at the first time I went there the shop closed 30 minutes before the time listed on Google

Laur Tiv: I love Rosarios! They have some amazing brands like Tory Burch, lots of J. Crew, Vince Camuto, etc. I’ve found some amazing things there. Rosario herself is super nice and lethargic why I’m posting. Would love to keep her in business during these times of Covid! The only draw back to this store is that it’s small and you have to find on-street parking which can be difficult (it’s 16th st) but otherwise this is a hidden gem in DC!

Kristen Jarvis: I went in looking for a cheap top for a themed party (which I got for $1) & came out with a Columbia rainjacket and Patagonia fleece (for $25 total!). I was amazed at some of the brands & selection.

Prime Thrift Georgia Avenue: what do users think?

Kim Reyes: Great finds the other day when they had 3 tag colors 50% off! I snagged five jackets, a skirt and one long 100% wool coat barely worn all for $30. There are treasures hidden within the racks!

Karina Baumblit: The people who work at the store are wonderful. Always willing to help and very accommodating. They have a nice verity for a small store and it is vell maintained.

Vanessa L Jackson: Great day for students with 25 percent off on Tuesday and Thursday. Return policy is reasonable 7 days with receipt, and prime thrift members earn points use phone number to join Points adds to dollars off of next purchases. Good selection of coats and MENS wear. Large variety of plus size and plus size petite. My secret to stylish name brand dressing. Had a good shopping experience. Staff friendly prices clearly marked social distancing and mask required.

Donovan Phelps: This store has a lot of good quality items available and at really good prices

Summer Brouwer: Found a lot of great items here! The employees are very friendly, both in English and español :)

Danyelle Lamb: This was my first time went there. The store was clean, organized & very affordable.. The associates are nice & definitely coming back😁

Remix Recycling Co.: what do users think?

Henrry Palacios: Visited this store for the first time today and had a great experience! Staff is very friendly and the option of clothes was great. I was able to purchase two pants at a reasonable price and both were in great condition!

Sherri LaRowe: Neat shop. Support a long-time local biz like this and score inexpensive deals that your closet will love. Its hard not to leave without something each time I visit. Just got a brand new Lilly Pulitzer dress (original tags still on it read $188) for $42. And a brand new Ann Taylor light pink work and fun appropriate skirt for $12 (still had original tags too!).

Sarah Kramer: Although it’s a small store, they always have a great selection of both gently-used and new apparel and fabulous inexpensive jewelry. Today I found five spring dresses, an unworn pair of heels, and new earrings for an unbeatable price. This place is leagues above Poshmark and online consignment stores.

Sharon: Went last week, it’s a small place but I feel that the selection is pretty good, especially for cute crops and jeans (compared to platos). I got some nike leggings for $8. I couldn’t find too much in my size (pants I’m about a 10-12 and I’m on the larger side). The people working were nice and checked up on us! Overall would recommend if you’re looking to find some thrifted pieces. (You apparently can sell your items here)

Izzy Gieser: Remix has a incredible selection of designer brands at a really affordable price. My friend bought two pairs of leggings for $22. The people are super friendly and there’s even a store cat named Sushi. I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience shopping here and would definitely come here again in the future.

Renee Simms: I like going there. I can always find what I need there also, the prices are resonable. Enjoy the experience.

Carol Casperson: Very courteous and helpful staff. A great place to make your donations of household goods and clothing. Very organized and clean.

Simona Venable: Great place to donate clothes. Clean shop and fantastic staff

Tracy Roddey: The clothes rack the very well put together and customer service is very nice excellent

Christ Child Opportunity Shop: what do users think?

Kurt LaRose MSW LCSW LICSW: The antiques and the finds here are wonderful. The staff, volunteers, care so much about the items. Here I am reminded of my grandparents dishes, jewelry, paintings, dishes, silver, metalurgy, pocket watches, rugs .... and the iron statutes are just phenomenal. Today I found a 10k gold rosary engraved from 1924 ... with a historical attention to detail that is awesome. The people working in the store celebrate the items as you look.

rebecca leigh: A lovely store with beautiful things. Sometimes a bit pricey. The service is excellent and warm.

Sandra Biedron: Wow. Great place for vintage jewelry and everything else one needs for a home or office. Not only is everything repurposed but all proceeds go to children in the area that need help meeting their emotional needs. Found four rare Portmeirion pottery pieces as well as two pieces of vintage high-end jewelry. These were very fairly priced with the market. Excellent collection of dishes, silver, and crystal. Go there instead of doing a wedding registry! So much more green! Rock on Opportunity Shop - you made my heart happy today seeing things re-purposed! The place was packed!

Eric Rajendra: The best antique and bric-a-brac store in all of DC. Our family in Georgetown has given thousands of dollars worth in contributions of our own antiques we no longer needed and then we bought thousands of dollars more in antiques we needed!! This place is a gem for us Washingtonians!! The volunteer staff members are truly precious and really dedicated!! They love their work and make the entire experience of browsing a joy. The second floor has great stuff so GO UP!! Jewelry, silverware, Asian antiques, porcelain, etc! You won’t be disappointed. You need to return weekly as new consignments and donations come all the time!! Trust me.

A. Greenough Dodd: Huge fan of this nonprofit consignment shop (aka The "Op Shop"!) that benefits the needs of DC area children. Always great finds, but definitely allow time to peruse the many items. Well-worth the search!

Angela Van: Clean and organized decor consignment purchase structure (can see how the price drops by date). Always find something when I go in. Unfortunately, they just re-organized downstairs so the bulk is upstairs--no elevator.

Jonathan Fuhrman: Nice place for antiques. Everything has a date it came in and gets marked down every month. Prices are a bit high, but not outrageous.

carolyn jackson: I love this boutique. Fia the owner is very nice and sweet. I love her basement grab bag. It a lot of fun. It like playing a game.😁😊

Cassia Morris: My boyfriend and I stopped in Fia’s 2.5 years ago or so to find some items for a costume. I can’t remember the owners name, but she was THE sweetest, nicest, and most helpful!!! We talked about where her son was going to school. We live in Alaska and I still think about our visit here. I hope the owner is well and the shop is doing good!!! Much love.

Clark Flynt-Barr: This place is packed! Lots of good finds - always fun to shop here.

Symea Johnson: Stopped by for the “fill a bag for $25” event. I had to control myself because I could of stayed all day and shifted thru all the bins and racks for clothing. Fia was actually present and her and the staff are genuinely good people All positive vibes in the air! Check her out you will not be disappointed 13items including dresses, skirts, purses and jacket all rolled in one bag for $25🎉

Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store: what do users think?

Zh Ie: Purchased online from this location. The staff was amazing on checking the condition of the item after purchase, and as an added service on their end, they sent a few extra close-ups even after I had purchased, which was not necessary, but so appreciated that they thought to do that. Above and beyond service, and extremely customer-service oriented.

Kim Barr: I found some lovely things there the staff was very helpful and definitely check out the colors of the week sales. I was able to get a 15.99 suit for 3.99 because of the colors of the week sale.

Franklin Owens III: I was there for clothing… but I can never pick out clothing in a thrift store, so I left with books. The store was well organized though. I tend to be a bit uncomfortable buying items out of thrift stores. I didn’t care much for the clothes. But there were other items in the home section were really nice. Everyone was nice in the thrift store. Even when I gathered a cart full of books and then realized I couldn’t use my clothing voucher on books😬😅

bluslushii: Been to multiple Goodwills, the staff was by far the most helpful and I honestly received the best customer service I did at any business. Definitely will be returning! Thank you so much ladies for being so kind and helpful!

A print of Marion Barry over a map of DC? You can find all that and more. The Arts Walk is super close to metro and a fun addition to Brookland.

Kian McKellar (Key in Films): I got a candle and a pin from Analog and they look and smell great respectively. Always a pleasure to visit the shop

Unique: what do users think?

Abi Maghamfar: A place to donate unwanted items and buy used items from furniture to toys to kitchenware, clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, etc at reasonable prices. If you buying toys, puzzles and games or anything that have multiple pieces, makes sure all pieces are there as this has been one of the disappointing aspects of buying stuff here. The other disappointment is the lack of organization and cleanliness of the facility. Love the idea of recycling and reusing rather than sending them to the wasteland and Unique provides that opportunity.

JJ Edwards: Its a huge thrift store, as afar as I know and for so many thrift store I had visited this is my favorite one. They have huge selection of clothes, shoes, toys, books, furniture, kitchen ware and many more. Worth to check out!

Ariel S.B.: My favorite thrift store! Yeah, some of the prices are just a little bit higher than your average goodwill, but the quality of items is so much better. I’ve seen brand new items from designer stores, sometimes with the tags still on them. Stuff is actually trendy and cute and not dated. They have clothes in every size, the selection is huge! Definitely visit if you’re looking to revamp your wardrobe.

Sharon: Went yesterday around 2pm The store itself is smaller than the goodwills ive been in before, but also more organized! I think their best section is the long sleeve shirts for women, I think they have some real gems in there! Workers are nice and it was an easy checkout. Would recommend if you need a blouse or just want to browse!

T: A medium-sized store with a pretty decent selection on used pieces. I came out with two really nice dresses both brand new with the tags still on them and a skirt that still have the tags on it so it was new as well I also found a nice straw beach bag for the summer. The staff was very kind and helpful and the store was very clean I will definitely get back here 😊 Sorry guys I forgot to take pics this time!

Unique: what do users think?

Fredrick Omeniho: Unique is a good thrift store for dropping off your items that you no longer need ranging from clothes, kitchen wears, electronics, books, you name it. You also buy from items donated by others at a low price. Customer service here is also wonderful. I would say keep helping. Update: Unique has undergone some recent changes - sales automation and now you could attend to yourself but sales attendants are still around to help, coupons and perks have become more decent. Unique also has more inventories recently but you could walk in to donate more.

Kathryn S: Wide variety of clothing and home goods, mostly at fair prices. It seems that they rotate their stock seasonally, i.e. sweaters are out in February, but not shorts. **There are no fitting rooms** but there are mirrors throughout the store to help you try on jackets/outerwear.

nonya biznes: i call this place the walmart of thrift stores. it’s gigantic, filled with good deals, and speedy with self checkout. it’s impossible to come here and not find SOMETHING in your size. highly recommend. i drive over an hour to come here.
