Tony and Joe's Seafood Place: what do users think?

Celal Gulluoglu: It was a great time and I was so fully satisfied with the seafood. The best dish is the mussels. It made me feel so alive. The only letdown was the price for the food. In my opinion, the price wasn’t worth it. Last thing that was amazing was the sight of the river.

David Arrimadas: One of the best fish places in DC. Very kind staff and extremely good quality. The mussels are delicious and the crab soup is really tasty. Very nice place also with good terrace to enjoy if the temperature allow you to do it. Highly recommended!

Vy H.: Great location for drinks and light food by the waterfront! It’s always busy packed on the weekends but was lucky this past Sunday for a table outdoors! Service is great too. Seafood wise, top favorites were the Hot Crab Dip, Steamed Top Neck Clams and the Chilled Seafood Tower!

K Santos: Great service, they have outdoor dining which is great. Food is great, we had burgers, clam chowder and their fish. Big main servings you can share. They have a great detail of having sanitizers in each table to make sure you clean your hands. Great view too right in front of the potomic river.

김서진: One of the best fishes place. I enjoyed fresh sea food. I love this place, outdoor mood♥️

The Oceanaire Seafood Room: what do users think?

Maya Bryant: Went here for dinner to celebrate my birthday with friends. They were really great at accomplishing a large group of 11. Service was a little bit slow, but that is okay since there was so many of us. Everyone really enjoyed their food and drinks. I ordered the king crab and creamed corn, both were very delicious. The sangrias were also a hit if you like sweet drinks. Just be aware that cake cutting is $5 PER SLICE. yikes. At least they gave me the slice with my name on it.

Kyle Lennon: Oceanaire is certainly a class act in fine dining, our meal was absolutely superb. The cocktails were very strong handed and delicious, our server even made one himself. He was an incredible and attentive server that I will certainly be requesting next time. The swordfish, outstanding. The baked Alaska was truly a moment to remember to top it all off. Valet parking was spot on too. 👌🏻🥂

Christopher Gillespie: We had an amazing dining experience thanks to Carlos and the support staff. No glass was even close to empty and attention to detail on every dish. I got the whole fried snapper and it was as tasty as it looks. Great oysters, even had west coast options.

Fallon Valentine: I really enjoyed this place, the oyster omg they were amazing, the mussels were so delicious only disappointment was my steak temperature I asked for medium rare and got a well done steak it was still tasty and tender. I love how the servers take really good care of you.

m weston: Loved the food! Loved the setting and ambiance! Awesome service … BUT super pricey. If you have money to burn then this is your place. Once is enough for me. Lol

Sandra: The place was 5 star service, from the valet to all the staff. Everybody treated our party like VIP. We sit at the bar waited for all my guest to arrive. The bartender treated us like VIP. That service was superb. Who ever trained the staff, has done a magnificent job. The drinks at the bar and the food at the table was excellent. I was celebrating my birthday. This was a excellent choice. I felt like royalty. Prices were expensive, but well worth it. The side choices could be expanded a little bit more of a variety. Seafood choices, I expected a bigger selection, but everybody has cut their menus down. Overall the menu was good. I will definitely go back. It was a delightful pleasure. Thank you, A Birthday Charm Saturday 12/18/21

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab: what do users think?

Alexander Staufenberg: My parent took me here for their anniversary dinner. I was sort of nervous about the vegetarian options — but I was very pleased with stuffed mushrooms, the potatoes lyonnaise and the steamed asparagus. The portions are very generous. After hearing we were celebrating an anniversary the house gave us a complimentary brownie with ice cream and whipped cream. It was divine.

Konstantin: Great restaurant. Atmosphere is nice, staff is friendly and food is really good. Oysters were fresh and fried chicken was simply delicious. This place is very popular so reservation is recommended there.

Swastika Nohara: The best stone crab there is! My favorite was crab stuffed shrimp because it was creamy and delicious! Perfectly seasoned and crunchy at the same time. Creamed spinach and broccolini was also nice. We spent 156 USD for those meals as seen on my photos.

Maryam Sherbaf: We went to Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone crab for our anniversary. The service is excellent, atmosphere is nice , the restaurant is pretty packed. The food is good but it’s a bit overrated and overpriced.

Allison Williams: Wow this place is gorgeous, really nice ambiance, I want to start there. The food is delicious and fresh as well. It is pricey so if your going and you have a party of more than 2, expected to spend like 100$ a person. The drinks were good but not strong enough for me. It was my birthday and my first time there and I enjoyed every moment.

Melissa Flaminio: Our waiter Jeffrey was fantastic. We were looking for a good seafood spot close to our hotel that we could celebrate my recent graduation and it totally hit the spot. Got the seafood pasta and the crab was buttery with citrus, and the little slices of asparagus was top notch. Loved it and definitely worth the trip

Ophelia’s Fish House: what do users think?

Wei-Yu Jen: The seafood is fresh, and I like the sauce.I would prefer the omelette to be softer, but still tastes ok.

Steve O'Connor: Cute seafood dining with a great patio. Not a long menu but the choices you have are exceptional. Food and drinks are excellent.

Nya H: Had a wonderful evening because the servicer shared with us his recommendations based on what we like, the food presentation was magnificent and the drinks was strong enough...😉

Viviane Del Pizzo: It was really good. I had the mussels and they were delicious. The mussel appetizer is a great size for kids. The wait for the food was not long. I really recommend this place for dinner.

liv hintlian: Hidden gem honestly. Not one to write reviews but wow I was impressed. Was walking by and decided to try it for brunch, delicious and affordable brunch menu!!

Grillfish: what do users think?

T Johnson: The customer service here was really good. That is so important for me. My friend and I were visiting DC from Florida and went here as a part of our girls trip worth our daughters. Parking is free on Sunday so that was a plus. Our waitress was nice and friendly and did a great job with answering our questions and making recommendations. My MaiTai was awesome and THE FOOD WAS SO FRESH AND cooked perfectly. I would love to go back again to try something else.

Zerah Kawami: Amazing fish restaurant with many options on the menu and lovely restaurant decor. The menu is smaller but well crafted and the wines and cocktails were superb. The grilled fish was absolutely delicious and our party got the mahi mahi and salmon plates. We also got the crab cakes which were a delicious comfort food. We finished with a mango key lime pie that we ate a bit too fast before I could get a picture as it was that delicious.

M J: Really enjoyed the food. Buffalo shrimp did not disappoint. Risotto balls I will it was something else with them but if you like friend cheese and the tomato sauce does it for you then it was perfect. Wish the soft crab was a little bigger. Friends and I enjoyed will definitely go back for another brunch date.

Alvaro H. Torres: Great service but overpriced. You are getting a good service and freshly made to order food. The grilled fish was amazing and the grilled octopus.

Connor Sargent: Food was amazing, fresh, and service was great. Very good seasoning on our dishes, presentation made the meals even more enjoyable to eat. And $1 local oysters were delicious. Definitely coming back here every time we visit DC.

Simon T Katan: Very good fish choise. I had swardfish and it was delicious. Service wss good. Recommended in DC area for grilled fish. Also a very nice ambient.

Henrietta: LET ME TELL YOU!! Came in here on a whim and the food was ON POINT. I got the mixed seafood skewer with brussel sprouts and the fish tasted like it was straight out the ocean. Grilled to perfection… I thought I was in a Caribbean island! The bartender Tony was perfect. Super friendly and quick service. I literally inhaled the entire plate before I realized I should have taken a photo. Go. You won’t be disappointed.

Fiola Mare: what do users think?

Pe Lin (Cilibluebird): A five star seafood restaurant that deserves the five star. Great for special events minimum 50 USD per per person, but well deserved. Hakan was our server and he made this experience exceptional. Pasta’s are excellent. Georgetown next to water. Outside seating is great in the evenings of hot summers.

Roz Manning: Fabulous venue for our intimate wedding dinner with family. The Mermaid Room and adjoining patio were perfect. The appetizers were delicious, dinner was delectable and service superb.

Richard Holst: Elegant and delicious. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant has many quiet and corners with the perfect atmosphere. It is well organized and very clean, every inch has amazing details. The food and drink selection is extensive and everything we had was prepared to perfection. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area. We will be back here often.

Dario Camilo Barros Viñas: 5 stars for real in every aspect. It has both a very fancy area indoor and a fancy yet relaxed area in the patio. The service was amazing, the food was superb, the cocktails were delicious and generous. Canver the manager was very kind and served us the calamari complementary make us feel even better served! I didn’t know the Branzino taste this good until I tried it here. We were only two so we couldn’t try more plates but do yourself a favor and try Fiola Mare!

Mike: Easter brunch was amazing. Staff, as always, is fantastic.Intro: watercress soup and the other dish white asparagus.Mains: blue crab omelette and Australian lamb.Glad to see that a packed restaurant. Make reservations!

Stephan Herard: Had a really good brunch. The burrata was unique with a crispy shell on the outside and the soft mozzarella inside. The Burrata, Spring Begins dessert and Bomboloni are probably the highlights of the course.

Christopher Gillespie: All about the dining experience here, they go above and beyond. Did the bottomless brunch with amazing views. Brunch at this level of execution will be very tough to match. The blue fin ahi could be best bites of 2022 to date. The scallop crudo was melt in the mouth. Worth the price of admission.

Tash M: Had a private dinner here and it was an exceptional experience. The food was lovely, so was the service. Special thanks to Darina for being so attentive and providing an especially memorable experience.

Ocean Prime: what do users think?

Solana Cox: We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here all the way from Pittsburgh and let me tell you, Ocean Prime did not disappoint. It was well worth the start of our road trip to DC. Everyone who came to our table went above and beyond. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it was scrumptious! When I told the waiter that it was our anniversary, they made sure it was going to be a night to remember. Highly recommend this place.

Syerra Carigo: We visited for happy hour on Wednesday and it wasn’t too crowded. I tried their delicious steak tartare and my husband had their oysters. I also tried their “berries and bubbles” cocktail which comes with dry ice, Belvedere citrus vodka, marinated berries, house made sour, and Chandon Brut. This drink was so sweet and very cute! The staff were all friendly, and all the bartenders attended to you whether they were serving you or not. We had a very nice time. I’m looking forward to returning for dinner.

Danovel Tolli: This was my first time Dining at Ocean Prime. Taking my lady out for her birthday. It was nothing more than a top tier experience. The waiter Briyan was awesome..extremely friendly, warm, and you just knew he enjoyed serving us and you felt it everytime he visited the table. The first thing I tasted was the Surf and Turf Scallop, and prime rib..Amazingly tender and full of flavor. Nothing more than immaculate. The Lamb Chops were the best I have ever tasted from anywhere. Prepare to be here for a while as they do take their time to give you an experience. I will be going back for the Private dining experience for sure.

chris chadwick: Oceans Prime was truly a great experience. The service was friendly and on top of everything very impressed for a busy place. The food was amazing. I had a 10 filet cooked medium rare minus....tender, juice and delicious. The peanut butter chocolate cake thing out of this world! Great food and wine excellent service.

Love Chan: Back at it AGAIN…my Fav❣️😋

Francina Thomas: My family made reservations at this Restaurant for my birthday celebration. I loved it, felt like a Queen for the evening. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The check in crew were friendly and professional- found our reservations and table was ready on the spot. Our waiter Alexander was superb !! He was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu, wine, sprits and dessert. His recommendations were excellent. He truly made my birthday special by treating me to my dessert. How sweet. The Food was Delicious 😋 😍!!! The prices were upscale but so was the service and food- definitely worth it. The portions were large. The variety was awesome. We tried a bottle of Resling wine from a California venue which was light, fruity and semi sweet - just like i like it. There were 6 of us coupled off with a meal price around $150.00 to $250.00 per couple. I will definitely keep this place in mind for a return visit.

Ron Paige: Amazing Experience. Sofia was an amazing Server. Professionalism personified❤ Dining Manager Ebony was amazing and checked on us along with the Sou Chef. It lives up to the hype. BEST Calamari EVER! Platter Up the snapper with a lobster tail and filet mignon. Thank me later.❤💯 The East Coast Oysters are Amazing. Thank you. Worth every dollar spent and wonder staff. THANK YOU for a great BDAY and sublime Dining experience.

Monica R S: Berries and Bubbles cocktail was soooo good and it was fun to watch the bubbles. The Prime Roll was delicious, good texture, fish was fresh. The Lobster Tails were perfectly cooked and it’s a big portion! The carrot cake is good but it’s a tad too sweet for my taste, it is a big portion so it’s good to share. Our server Derek was very attentive and friendly.

BlackSalt: what do users think?

Anna S: Always delectable! I have been to BlackSalt on many occasions, and the service is always fantastic. This visit was no different from my previous visits. It is the experience you expect with fine dining. From the oysters, to my entree of red snapper with truffle sauce, the food could not have been better! (And I didn’t think I would like the truffle sauce at all! I was so glad I was wrong.) I will, of course, be back again.

Christina: Wonderful seafood place! Fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. We’re just visiting from overseas but would definitely come back if we lived in the area.

Joyce Y: First day in DC , we were hungry and excited to try this place. The oyster selection is good and I would come for oysters alone! The dishes are decent too but my seabass tasted very different from any other seabass I’ve had. The texture was so firm that I felt it was a disappointment. We didn’t like the menu selection for the entree but they pretty much did whatever fish my kids asked for, very flexible with us.

cesarnews4: Customer service at its best. This place has it all. Amazing food, great atmosphere, attention to detail, clean and cozy. My wife loves this place. I made a reservation for her birthday. The restaurant printed out a special menu with the date and a line saying “happy birthday” for our table .. Customized menus for us. How special is that??? After COVID many restaurants lost customer service , attention to detail. It seems like most restaurants are running short staff and it shows on the service level. NOT BLACKSALT This place has it together. Another example. When they brought our food, the ladies on the table get their plate 1st , then everyone else after. We noticed those details. That’s why they deserve 5 starts . Simply put, quality with taste. I highly recommend it . Plus the food is amazing

A. Manka: Well executed food with great flavor! Also received teamwork approach who met our needs and made our experience smooth and relaxing. We have been coming for years.

Meme Smith: It was nice last min plan, first time having Caviar. Would had been nice to know the key notes of the Caviar before I had ordered....the drink was not great I had ordered Cocgnac cocktail that was ruined with a lemon. But over all it was nice I would try it again

David Hosey: Friendly atmosphere. Food was decent but the petit tower wasn’t as fresh as we would have hoped. Overall good experience

Floyd Le Vere II: Best tuna I ever had in my 42 years. Who knew peanut sauce went with mangos and noodles?? Dear God, praise this place, and me, so I can come BACK!

Hank's Oyster Bar: what do users think?

Kim Walker: Came to DC for the memorial weekend. One stop on my many adventures between DC and MD was this restaurant. And I am glad I did. Me and my guest did not have a reservation so we opted to sit at the bar until a table was available. We came on a Saturday during brunch. The hostess was pleasant but Chad stole the show. His drinks were amazing. Mine was one he made up and it was sooooo good. Food was fresh and served quickly. Flavors were also on point. Our server was friendly and had excellent oyster recommendations. Very good. I definitely recommend and would come back.

Cayna Sharp: Hank’s is a perfect spot for a celebration, but if you have a large group, you will have to sit in their covered outdoor area because they have very limited indoor seating. Everything our group had was great. We shared a selection of oysters, which were all very fresh, hush puppies, and crab dip for appetizers and everything was so good. I had the rockfish for my dinner and it was cooked perfectly. They are gluten free-friendly and accommodated our group and they even brought out a little bowl of chocolate with a candle for my birthday even though they don’t offer dessert. They had a great selection of cocktails, but they were out of a few of the listed options. Our waitress was great and super kind! 10/10 would go back

Adam Heiss: Best oyster bar in DC! The oyster selection is excellent and always super fresh. My top favorite is the lobster roll with a beautiful buttery perfectly toasted brioche bun which is the ideal vessel for a generous helping of perfectly seasoned creamy lobster filling.

Hsing-Yu Chang: We like the ambiance, staff is funny and friendly. We went during happy hour so we could only sit inside. The oysters are delicious; so is the crab dip

Sarah Ouellette: Best fish and chips in DC. All the food was delicious. Especially loved the fried oysters and shrimp and calamari appetizer.

Tina A: This is absolutely a must eat. The restaurant is a hidden jewel and easy to miss for tourist based on its location off the tourist path. It is part of a DC neighborhood. It possess a nice quaint appeal, relaxing vibes and soothing atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is good excellent. Everything we ate was well seasoned. The portion sizes in comparison to the price is a steal. We ate the popcorn shrimp/calamari “small” plate and a bowl of lobster bisque (which contains large chunks of lobster yay) and was too full to order anything else. The “adult” beverages didn’t skimp on the alcohol either!!! Search for this hidden gem and I promise you find a treasure.

Carla Ferguson (Your Bon Viveur): The food was great, really fresh, and the service was excellent. The drinks could have been better, but overall I was very satisfied.

J M: Loved the food, and most of the staff! Except the one female bartender with the backwards hat and rainbow logo on her shirt the night of 6/16. She was rude to us directly, and then I watched her fight with two other couples while they were trying to order. We asked her a simple question about the menu, and she responded with disgust as if we should’ve known that menu back-to-front. Would definitely recommend this place to others as our waitress and the other bartenders were wonderful, but I would also make sure they know to avoid the B* behind the bar. She does not fit in with the rest of this magnificent restaurant.

Pearl Dive Oyster Palace: what do users think?

Jill G: Absolutely amazing! The muscles were just so good, we had to get more bread so we could sop up the sauce. The blackened catfish and shrimp and grits were perfect and delicious. They also gave us a little basket of the the most delicious bread and corn bread muffins in the world! But definitely, the best thing we ate was the bananas foster!! SOOOO GOOD! One small complaint, is that the lobster Rangoon did not seem worth the price. They were pretty good, but you only get 3 for $19. I wouldn’t recommend getting those.

The Boneman: We were in town for a wedding and read the Google reviews. We saw that the food was stellar and we saw Quincy was the waiter to have. Reserved on Open Table and Tammy was SO nice at the desk. She seated us right away. Quincy is probably really great BUT we had Tim as our server. He was AWESOME! The food was SPECTACULAR. We have eaten in New Orleans often and this was right up there with Acme!! Thank you to Tim, Tammy AND the Chef! Great experience….. we WILL be back!

Min Cheng: Loved the food, delicious. Staff were very pleasant and cheerful, especially Nate. Enjoyed our dinner, certainly will go back again.

Pirachula Chulanon: Fresh oysters and delicious southern style seafood dishes. Friendly and attentive service. The mussels are highly recommended. Don’t miss the divine pecan pie à la mode!

Jazski: Kind staff! great food. My 9 yr old daughter is into oysters this year and she loved this spot also. They ran out of blue points but saved the day with their wellfleets... divine

Gisela R: I came here for my birthday for brunch with my two besties and had a great time. The food was great and the service was amazing!

Sharalaina Piro-Rael: Really amazing food and service. We had a great time here. Every thing is top notch. We had some great drinks, oysters, a meal, desserts. The steak was amazing. The Tres Leches and Bananas Foster was super good too. Espresso Martini and Margaritas were great. Definitely try this place out!

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks: what do users think?

Tiffany Smith: Went here with a friend and everything was outstanding; from our waiter (only wish I could recall his name) to our dessert. The wine list was exceptional, the oysters were delicious as was the Seabass that I had and the lobsters that my friend had. We even finished up with some cheesecake. Service was A++

Craig GroveRealtor: Had an excellent experience. Our waiter AJ was super friendly and made great suggestions. He made us feel extremely comfortable and laugh. The steak and sides were delicious. Highly recommended! Ask for AJ!

Courtney B: My first time here and I loved it! It was a friends 35th birthday, they gave the 5 of us a private booth, that we could close the curtain for more privacy if needed. Bella our sever was amazing from start to finish. I got the crab and shrimp stuffed salmon and it was really good with the lobster bisque mashed potatoes! I will definitely be back!

Phillip Bulger: Food was good, but not great value for price. Service could have been better, a few orders for a group of 10 were missed. Steak needed to be sent back. Overall still a good experience.

Luke's Lobster Farragut: what do users think?

L Porter: Good for families with outside seating. The customer service was really friendly, and most important, the lobster roll was soooo tasty. Crispy bread, well-seasoned meat, and a sauce that complemented but didn’t overpower the tender lobster. My kids liked the grilled cheese and fries.

Stacey Mae: I was intimidated by the prices, however the service, transparency of sustainable practices, and the lobster roll in itself blew me away. I understand and definitely recommend for those who appreciate intentionality and quality. First bite of the lobster roll will forever be engrained as the best I’ve ever had until further notice. So fresh!!!

Tony Tran: Parking: There were street parking but only if you’re lucky. I recommend getting dropped off or walk there. I’m not from the area and used Apple Maps to walk there. It was a bit of a struggle to find because the map directs you to the entrance on a different side of the block. Ambience: fast pace Service: 4/5 cashier was nice and friendly Food ordered: 5/5 I ordered the Luke Trio to get a little taste of everything. Overall: 5/5 The food portion was decent for its price considering it is seafood. All three in the order I loved the most Lobster, crab, shrimp were exceptional great! I would definitely return here if in the area.

Mr. T: At $30 for a 4oz lobster roll, cole slaw and a soda, it was quite pricey for a week day lunch. However, the food was very nice, the restaurant was impeccable and the service was top notch. You are in the very heart of DC. Blocks away from the White House. The very seat of power in the modern world. So, $30 for lunch is reasonable. While I was there, I did see a few potential customers walk in, get sticker shock and make an about face. About the food: Lobster roll was very good. The roll was a soft Texas toast-type set up that was uniquely cut down the center to form the tasty bun. The lobster was seasoned well in a light dressing that complimented the lobster without overpowering it. The cole slaw was a generous portion. It is a vinegar-based slaw that for me was a bit too much on the sour-acidic side, but I could see the attempt to provide contrast to the lobster and make the lobster sweetness pop. A sweet slaw would have been too much sweet for the palate. The better side choice would have been the kettle chips, but then you’re losing the healthier aspect of the slaw. I thought I had bought a Mexican coke in a neat looking bottle with a different type of label. To my surprise, it didnt taste like Mexican coke or coke or even cola. It had a weird taste. Not bad, just weird. A closer look at the label revealed it was a Mexicane coke from Maine. Figures Maine folk would mess up a cola like that. Was it old bay seasoning I was tasting??? Dont know but wont be ordering it again. The better drink choice would have been a nice ice cold bottle of beer. Blue Moon would have been an excellent choice, but I dont think they have it on site. The restaurant was immaculate. Everything was in order and everything was super clean. The entire staff was exceptional. Very friendly, attentive and respectful. Consider tipping them up front because they will earn it. It’s hard to find dedicated food service staff these days. Job Very Well Done! Every star was EARNED! Bravo!!🙏🏼

Kristen Marie: Service was excellent. Food came out pretty quick. Had lobster rolls, lobster mac and cheese, and clam chowder. All of it was amazing and so fresh!!! Food was a bit pricey so me and my friend split a meal at first but needing up ordering more because it was just that good.

Mariscos 1133: what do users think?

Julia Cheung: Right for the price. Meaning it’s good value and freshness. Don’t expect anything fancy or stylish. Do expect fresh and beautiful and bursting with flavor. All wait staff are helpful and friendly and efficient. Decor is slightly sticky/shabby but it comes together with a nice coastal theme. We had: Birria Tacos, mussels, Calamari, Caesar Salad, shrimp on skewers and another shrimp / rice/ fajita type thing, and a burger. Flavors are right on the nose for Latin food and shrimp was perfectly cooked. Wish there had been more sauce with the mussels but the bread was perfectly toasted and so yummy. I had a Negroni and Mango Breeze- no complaints about any of the food and portions are big

Logan Gore: The food and mocktail were incredible!!! Staff was super friendly! Food came up pretty quickly even though they were very busy! I had the Marisco Breeze NA drink! It was huge and delicious! I ordered the crab and lobster guacamole (will be going back for more) and the Caribbean Lechón! So so good! The tacos and sugarcane shrimp skewers looked amazing too!

Adam Eltarhoni: Went for lunch and had a great meal. A seafood restaurant with items from ceviche to nachos, (we had both) as well as good drinks, this place is definitely on our list to revisit. The menu is pretty big as well and the ambience is good as well. Pictures of some entrees attached.

KAREL LEON: Innovative Mexican cuisine, and delicious. So many good dishes to choose from. My favorites are the Birria tacos, the guacamole crab, the pasta (yes pasta!), the lechon flautas, the home made chorizos, grilled octopuss, the flan, and the authentic mezcales!

Ivelina E: What a lovely addition to the neighborhood! Food, drinks and service were all GREAT!Lobster guac was a hit.. we got a second one!

Besart Ç.: My friend and I really liked it, the ceviche was fresh and delicious. Definitely order one or two orders of it. The margaritas were also excellent. Great job, Mariscos — one of the best seafood restaurants in DC!

Isabella C.: Came with a group of six on a Saturday night. Know that for such a large party there is only one seating option so the wait is long. The food and drinks were delicious and fairly priced. I had the ceviche vuelve a la vida, lobster and crab guacamole, duo a la diabla (grilled octopus and scallops), and a mojito. Overall very satisfied. Will be coming back.

Elmer Mendoza: The Best place to enjoy a good Ceviche, vuelve a la vida. Nice cocktail and the service was great.

James Milo: food was phenomenal. the "lechon" loved it. ❤ and I love their margarita. I have to check them again.

The Salt Line: what do users think?

Matthew Rathbun: I finally had some Pappy van Winkle! Outstanding location with a beautiful view outside and comfortable setting inside. The menu items are fantastic making it hard to choose just one thing. The clam selection is fantastic, as is the presentation. The clam chowder is very good, but not as good as the other food items that our group purchased. The staff is very friendly, efficient and engaging. The food was terrific and the drinks were perfectly mixed. Great experience and I highly recommend it.

Blue Girl: We were really happy with our first dining experience here. Great food, great ambience, excellent customer service. Fresh seafood, we enjoyed our oysters and drinks were on point. Awesome bartenders. We watched the staff and they were operating really good. Food was served on time. Restroom was also clean. Thank you so much guys. We can’t wait to come back. Beautiful waterfront restaurant.

Joseph Morgan: Lunch/Brunch 2 adults 2 kids $75-100 Great atmosphere and views of the river and new Frederick Douglas bridge. As other mention the oysters are good. The kids menu is good, the crispy fish sandwich is good. The eggs Benedict were good but they over cooked the poached eggs. Great wine and beer list. Great Bloody Mary.

Arshad Sayed: Great Food. Great Ambience. Terrific Service = Worth repeating. Our order—Coddies, 3 fried balls of Cod, mashed potatoes with mustard on a cracker. A lovely appetizer. With just two of us we chose Olive oil poached black bass, with kale and celery root puree.. refined taste just right. And we had the Watermans platter — fried fish, oysters, shrimp, scallops, with generous amounts of fries and colesaw. Sharing the two dishes for the entree was sufficient. Just the Black Bass might not have been enough for one so the combination of the two worked out just fine. The food was served hot and the service impeccable! Seated outside, with the burners, sipping sweet Italian vermouth to down it all and and watching the lights of the bridge shimmering in the water, while finishing off the pineapple pudding ( the rum glaze was a tad bit too strong for our taste) fighting for the last piece of pudding 😀 was about perfect! All this for $110 with tax. Unfortunately the star system means that this rating would fall on the upper end between 4-5 and I don’t give 5 stars anymore.

Monique Diop: Nice space, easy to get to ( uber not sure of parking) food fresh, delicious and interesting.. Seafood Bratwurst was good. We ate outdoors. with warm heat lamps near a pink lighted bridge! #FDMB

Luke's Lobster Penn Quarter: what do users think?

Angela Edwards: Family and I were visiting from Texas and all of us wanted to try out first lobster roll. Luke’s did not disappoint. Lots of lobster on all of our rolls. Derek was our cashier who suggested the lobster butter trifle roll. So yummy! Derek was polite and patient with us crazy Texans. We have not met many people like that here in DC so far unfortunately. We will have to go grab another roll before we leave. Yummy!

A.C.: Delicious lobster rolls, I got the lobster roll flight. The spicy mala one was my favorite. The clam chowder was pretty average; I would pass next time. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is minimal seating so a large group might be better getting it to go.

Leslie Pinto: Super yummy and PRICEY!Overall experience was great. I will come back with a bigger wallet 😅As April 2022 I paid $30 for 3 tiny (2 oz) but delicious trio

David Porter: Lobster was excellent and clam chowder was really good. Wish I would have ordered more of the clam chowder. It is pricey but the price is very comparable to market price for lobster. Only recommendation would be to add a sour dough bowl option for clam chowder. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

JG Mash: Unlike Connecticut lobster roll, Luke’s lobster meat is chilled giving contrast to the warm bread. Overall, really superb lobster roll. Definitely going back

Alex Karayan: Great tasting trio!3 great flavors in a nice snack bite size.Fresh lobster (delivered Tues & Thurs), shrimp and crab. They add butter on the side and i asked for seasoning on the dide as well.

Ashlee Olson: Tonight just husband and I tried this place for the first time. We instantly felt welcomed by Darrick (sp?) and Ashley. We couldn’t decide on soups so we were instantly given samples (we purchased one of each). We orders the trio rolls and it was the best decision ever! They were DELICIOUS!! We had a fantastic experience because of Ashley and Darrick! When we come back to DC, we will be visiting them first!!! Thank you both for the wonderful hospitality and great food!!!

Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood and Crab: what do users think?

rana kingi: Sexy atmosphere. Amazing service. Food was superb. We had the branzino which was cooked perfectly. Lobster Mac n cheese, lacked on lobster but still great. And steamed spinach was divine. Drinks great. Live music was wonderful and set the mood.

Diam: The ambiance was amazing. They had a live musician singing & playing the piano. My waitress was very attentive. I recommend getting a booth if going on a date. I loved the bar area too. The bar area gives a hh feel, but once you get seated the intimate setting seeps in. All the food was great. Definitely pricey but worth it. 10/10 highly recommend.

R Robertson: ~*Service was excellent. Cocktails were really good. The ambience along with live music spectacular. Loved the orchids they have around. The carpet on the stairwell is cute. Bathrooms were clean. Food was really good. Valet was pricey…. $20. I would recommend going here. Been to their location in Austin as well and loved it.*~

Aniya Cloyd: Went to Trulucks for my 8year anniversary and I am amazed. First off our server Bryan had exquisite knowledge about the menu. He was very professional and personable at the same time. I would for sure recommend him because he was just over all magnificent. The ambiance of this place was upscale and beautiful. The food was worth the price and the portions that you Get. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that we had nothing short of an amazing experience. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would, I have no complaints.

Diedre Jernigan: Dining here is a true experience. The customer service is impressive to the fact that you feel pampered. The drinks and food are pleasing to the eye and delicious. The dining experience includes a skillful musician that puts his spin on popular music.

Sophoria Westmoreland: Food was good. Went last night during restaurant week. Service at the bar exceptional. Live entertainment at the bar exceptional. Service at our table did not meet expectations. Our server continued to place the wrong food and drinks in front of us. We were a small party of 5. She literally put 2 alcohol drinks of front of my friend at one time. I mean we like to drink but not that much. She forgot my other friends drink order completely. Everyone ordered the restaurant week menu and with every entree she is giving the wrong food to the wrong person. Le sigh.

Jamila: My friends and i had dinner at Trulucks for my birthday dinner on 1/9. The service was excellent, the food was superb, and the overall ambiance including the live music made for a great dinner. The food is costly, but that was to be expected because it is an upscale seafood restaurant. The dessert picture is the Alaska Bake. When you cut into it, it was chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. The second photo is the king crab leg (very filling!) with a side of broccoli The cocktail is called Voila! It was amazing!

Hot N Juicy Crawfish: what do users think?

Branden Bateman: I came here with 3 friends for our first time trying crawfish. The food was delicious and the portion sizing was respectable. The staff is very kind and friendly. They remembered our names throughout the 2 hours we were there, which added a loving feeling. The seafood bags come with a variety of seasoning and spice options - even if you can’t handle a lot of spice, you can still have a well seasoned meal. Overall, I recommend this place and my friends and I plan to come back sometime after the holidays :)

Lillian Long: Sam who was our waitress was just a delight! He was attentive, polite and extremely helpful with explaining the menu since it was our first time. I will definitely be back for more delish calamari, juicy Cajun and corn.

Asia Garrison: Wow!!!!! That’s all I can say. I am not one to write reviews unless I truly feel the place exceeded my expectations or they did not. This place was BOMB! I had to ask them was my grandma or great aunts back in the kitchen frying that catfish. It was so crispy, pipping hot, AND SEASONED!!!!!! Seasoned seasoned for all those who wondered. The service was fast. We were seated immediately and within 15 minutes our food was out. I haven’t left the restaurant yet and I’m typing the review. This place gets a solid 9/10. Anything above 7 is worth trying but a 9???!!! You have to try it! The option for Hawaiian rolls were a good touch! Because fish with bread is a hit. Only thing that I needed were pickles. If you know, you KNOW!! prices were great too!

Joyce Thomas: The Po’Boy and sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever eaten. The shrimp were small, plentiful and tender and juicy. The service was A+++. Thx to Zachary H!

Mohammad Islam: Delicious food. Their sauce r unique. I love their food.

ShaVaughn Washington: This was my first time at dining at this restaurant! We dad an excellent experience. Great service and the food was very good!

Potomac Fish House: what do users think?

Rocky Martin: My boyfriend and I were driving around the city to find some good eats. We drove past here and saw it was busy. We said this must be good. We were able to pick out the fish we wanted. The fish was cooked to perfection. Probably some of the best fried fish I’ve had in the dmv. It’s a simple sport but hits the spot. Bread, fish, hot sauce, and tartar sauce. Their homemade tea is the bomb too!

Corey Sanders: Amazing Place I been going there since I was child with My Mom,Uncles and Aunt. Great Food Fresh Seafood

Monica Greenwood: OMG!! There oysters is to die for. It is cooked just right. The taste is sooooo delicious 😋 😍 😜 mmmm mmmm GOOD

Patricia Harris: This place is the best always has been. If you never got seafood there you should really try it. Fried broccoli 🥦Yummy 😋

Ivy City Smokehouse: what do users think?

Sasha J: This is my third or fourth time at this restaurant and I will say the food is amazing and consistent with taste & portion size. At times the service is a little bit hectic but if you’re patient it’s worth it. My go to dish are the garlic shrimp which is phenomenal and the Bronzino stuffed with crab meat. The cob salad is humongous!

Nicole D: Went here for brunch on a whim looking for something solid to fuel up after a long run and this was it! The crab Benedict was delicious and the Santa Fe bowl had so much flavor!! I was a little surprised that they didn’t have any more brunchy type cocktails, but I took it as a sign to just hydrate. I’m sure we’ll be going back!!

Bella H: Super friendly server great music nice atmosphere salmon was cooked to perfection. I really didn’t care for the potatoes but the asparagus was amazing presentation was everything food and drinks came out fast on time & super HOT and exactly how we ordered them Thanks Gator for the recommendation also Ivy city market has Maryland blue crab ask for Gator

Michelle Coleman: Went on Valentines Day and the food was great! They had a special V-Day menu I had the red snapper. It was so good. My husband had the ribs they were delicious 😋 both meals came with 2 sides and everything was flavorful. Definitely going back! The price was also very good. $35 for each meal.

Hank's Oyster Bar: what do users think?

M J: Delicious seafood with great service down by the Wharf. I loved my fried oysters and subbed the fries for red beets for a small upcharge. I looked up from my meal to ask my husband how his crab cake sandwich was but he had already inhaled it 🤣. The place was clean. We waited only 20 minutes instead of the 45 minutes we were quoted. Great to see all the LGBTQIA support here and in the Wharf District for PRIDE month. Only suggestion is that the hostesses need to speak much LOUDER since it is a loud, vivacious, fun restaurant. Not a place for 2 soft-spoken young women.

Miguel Curiel: Top 3 favorite places in DC. First time going was in May, had rated with 5 stars then and it still holds now. - the place is always full of life which makes for a fun time out (therefore, it is highly recommended you reserve beforehand). - food is extremely delicious. From the fresh oysters to the pasta and the crab rolls, you will not be disappointed. - service is sooooo kind and attentive. Special shout-out to Christopher! - it is on Wharf street so you get a priceless walk + view. - prices do tilt towards the expensive side, so be prepared.

Kyle Lennon: Oh my lord the Rockefeller is AMAZING! Best I’ve ever had compared to Legal Seafood in Boston and Devon Seafood in Hershey. BEST! It was absolutely delightful I ordered a second round of them. Fabulous cocktails too, fast attentive service as well!

Min Cheng: Delicious food, nice view, great service. The gentleman who wears Boston Strong wristband is charming and pleasant, made our dining experience more enjoyable.
