Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab: what do users think?

Teresa Simmons: Amazing food, impeccable service. The ambiance is so relaxing and lovely. A true gem in DC. Oysters Rockefeller was so good, best I have had in years!! The sangria was flavorful and refreshing. We can't wait to visit on our next trip to DC!!! The chocolate fudge pie was decadent and delicious! This was just 1/2 a slice, more than enough to share!!!

Alexander Staufenberg: My parent took me here for their anniversary dinner. I was sort of nervous about the vegetarian options — but I was very pleased with stuffed mushrooms, the potatoes lyonnaise and the steamed asparagus. The portions are very generous. After hearing we were celebrating an anniversary the house gave us a complimentary brownie with ice cream and whipped cream. It was divine.

Konstantin: Great restaurant. Atmosphere is nice, staff is friendly and food is really good. Oysters were fresh and fried chicken was simply delicious. This place is very popular so reservation is recommended there.

Luke L'sk: The one seafood restaurant that is repeatedly being recommended as we search online for dinner it is located very close to the White House so if you're tourism then may as well go there for a night view of the front of the president's home. if you're driving to have a file a talking for $20 right in the front so that you don't have to worry about finding a location to park your vehicle. I would highly recommend that you make reservation a few days ahead as there is hardly any space for time slot when I was booking my reservation; we were seated very quickly after entering the restaurant. It is a large selection for drinks on cocktail and wine. Maturity of the food selection is based on Seafood. We chose to have some raw oyster as well as a sample of the seafood selection for appetizer with entree as the seafood pasta and a flounder on the market price list. We had some question on the wine selection, the supervisor or the manager on the floor came to advise and give us the recommendation for the wine that we would like to have, he was very knowledgeable. Our waiter Kurt is splendid, he was very friendly and attentive, making sure our needs are met. It was a lovely dining experience to spend my friend's birthday dinner there. it was a nice touch that Kurt could gave us a complimentary ice cream brownie with a candle to blow for his birthday wish of the night

James Marable: Had the filet & lobster tail both were cooked perfectly. The lobster Mac could benefit from the addition of a more bold cheese to add flavor as it was somewhat bland. Service was great and loved that they kept my sparkling water on ice! I also had the crab bisque but it lacked crab, it was mostly onions/shallots (nothing like the crab bisque as Jeff Ruby’s in the Midwest).

Swastika Nohara: The best stone crab there is! My favorite was crab stuffed shrimp because it was creamy and delicious! Perfectly seasoned and crunchy at the same time. Creamed spinach and broccolini was also nice. We spent 156 USD for those meals as seen on my photos.

Maryam Sherbaf: We went to Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone crab for our anniversary. The service is excellent, atmosphere is nice , the restaurant is pretty packed. The food is good but it’s a bit overrated and overpriced.

Allison Williams: Wow this place is gorgeous, really nice ambiance, I want to start there. The food is delicious and fresh as well. It is pricey so if your going and you have a party of more than 2, expected to spend like 100$ a person. The drinks were good but not strong enough for me. It was my birthday and my first time there and I enjoyed every moment.

Melissa Flaminio: Our waiter Jeffrey was fantastic. We were looking for a good seafood spot close to our hotel that we could celebrate my recent graduation and it totally hit the spot. Got the seafood pasta and the crab was buttery with citrus, and the little slices of asparagus was top notch. Loved it and definitely worth the trip

Tarek Paige: It was my husband and I 24th anniversary a magical night at Joe's, it doesn't matter what you order the food and Service are Superb and all the desserts are made in house I suggest that you make a reservation valet parking Is available, Joe's is a great place you won't be disappointed

T Johnson: The customer service here was really good. That is so important for me. My friend and I were visiting DC from Florida and went here as a part of our girls trip worth our daughters. Parking is free on Sunday so that was a plus. Our waitress was nice and friendly and did a great job with answering our questions and making recommendations. My MaiTai was awesome and THE FOOD WAS SO FRESH AND cooked perfectly. I would love to go back again to try something else.
Response: Thank you for taking to share about your dining experience. It means a lot to the staff to know that their efforts are recognized by wonderful people like you.

Zerah Kawami: Amazing fish restaurant with many options on the menu and lovely restaurant decor. The menu is smaller but well crafted and the wines and cocktails were superb. The grilled fish was absolutely delicious and our party got the mahi mahi and salmon plates. We also got the crab cakes which were a delicious comfort food. We finished with a mango key lime pie that we ate a bit too fast before I could get a picture as it was that delicious.
Response: Thank you for sharing about your wonderful dining experience. We look forward to see again soon.

Kara Lee: The customer service here was really good. That is so important for me. My sister and I were visiting from North Carolina and wanted a nice place to eat on Sunday before we left. Parking is free on Sunday so that was a plus. Our waitress was nice and friendly and did a great job with answering our questions. My sister said her Margarita was PERFECTLY made. My mimosa was good also. THE FOOD WAS SO FRESH AND cooked perfectly. I added freshly shredded parmesan cheese to the seafood pasta per recommendation of my waitress and it was exactly what it needed. I am so glad she mentioned it. My sister was given a sauce to pair with her steak and she said it was the best she'd ever had. I think it was made in house. The bathroom was clean and overall this was a really good experience. I would love to go back again to try something else, the MENU has a lot to offer.

No Thanks: Portions were good. Presentation of my dish was good. The taste not so much. The fries were too salty, the sautéed spinach had more salt than it should, and I think our waitress did not know the menu much. Fair experience, but I will not return. Thanks. Went on 12/28/2021 4-5pm

M J: Really enjoyed the food. Buffalo shrimp did not disappoint. Risotto balls I will it was something else with them but if you like friend cheese and the tomato sauce does it for you then it was perfect. Wish the soft crab was a little bigger. Friends and I enjoyed will definitely go back for another brunch date.

Alvaro H. Torres: Great service but overpriced. You are getting a good service and freshly made to order food. The grilled fish was amazing and the grilled octopus.

Connor Sargent: Food was amazing, fresh, and service was great. Very good seasoning on our dishes, presentation made the meals even more enjoyable to eat. And $1 local oysters were delicious. Definitely coming back here every time we visit DC.

Simon T Katan: Very good fish choise. I had swardfish and it was delicious. Service wss good. Recommended in DC area for grilled fish. Also a very nice ambient.

Charlotte Goodall: The best grilled fish in town with awesome service! Took my mom for her Birthday in DC and stumbled upon this restaurant via Google and the reviews were good so I decided to try and boy we were not disappointed. We came in to dine at half hour before closing and was taken care of by the most welcoming and cheerful men Chris and Luke. To be served with such extreme enthusiasm after arriving at the 9th hour to dine says alot about character. I definitely recommend this restaurant and whenever I'm in DC I look forward to dining here again.

Henrietta: LET ME TELL YOU!! Came in here on a whim and the food was ON POINT. I got the mixed seafood skewer with brussel sprouts and the fish tasted like it was straight out the ocean. Grilled to perfection… I thought I was in a Caribbean island! The bartender Tony was perfect. Super friendly and quick service. I literally inhaled the entire plate before I realized I should have taken a photo. Go. You won’t be disappointed.

Ocean Prime: what do users think?

Steven Dominguez: Steak is top tier, dare to say quite possibly the best steak in the city. The sides, service and calamari appetizer left MUCH to be desired. It's a shame you have to make this trade off to enjoy such a good steak. Didn't try the seafood. Value? $250 for two with no alcohol seemed slightly overpriced, especially with a comped dessert.

Solana Cox: We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here all the way from Pittsburgh and let me tell you, Ocean Prime did not disappoint. It was well worth the start of our road trip to DC. Everyone who came to our table went above and beyond. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it was scrumptious! When I told the waiter that it was our anniversary, they made sure it was going to be a night to remember. Highly recommend this place.

Syerra Carigo: We visited for happy hour on Wednesday and it wasn’t too crowded. I tried their delicious steak tartare and my husband had their oysters. I also tried their “berries and bubbles” cocktail which comes with dry ice, Belvedere citrus vodka, marinated berries, house made sour, and Chandon Brut. This drink was so sweet and very cute! The staff were all friendly, and all the bartenders attended to you whether they were serving you or not. We had a very nice time. I’m looking forward to returning for dinner.

Danovel Tolli: This was my first time Dining at Ocean Prime. Taking my lady out for her birthday. It was nothing more than a top tier experience. The waiter Briyan was awesome..extremely friendly, warm, and you just knew he enjoyed serving us and you felt it everytime he visited the table. The first thing I tasted was the Surf and Turf Scallop, and prime rib..Amazingly tender and full of flavor. Nothing more than immaculate. The Lamb Chops were the best I have ever tasted from anywhere. Prepare to be here for a while as they do take their time to give you an experience. I will be going back for the Private dining experience for sure.

chris chadwick: Oceans Prime was truly a great experience. The service was friendly and on top of everything very impressed for a busy place. The food was amazing. I had a 10 filet cooked medium rare minus....tender, juice and delicious. The peanut butter chocolate cake thing out of this world! Great food and wine excellent service.

eriko p: Ocean Prime was the BEST meal we had during our visit to DC. Hands DOWN the BEST!!! We were exhausted after another day of walking around the Mall and the museums and needed an oasis to sit down, relax and hydrate. We stumbled into Ocean Prime without knowing what to expect. We were seated immediately to a beautiful quiet booth. The booths on the perimeter face the street and those booths are beautiful deep blue velvet ones! ( next time I might request those! ) Our server ( tall Chinese woman) was spot on perfect! She asked if we wanted water: still, bubbly or tap. We chose bubbly and there were free refills! We drank a lot of water! She was helpful and polite in her suggestions. We started our meal with steak tartare and it was spiced and flavored beautifully! It was the best steak tartare we have had in a long time. I ordered the scallops over risotto and my husband ordered the chilean sea bass. Both dishes melted in our mouths and we were relishing each bite. The food was beautifully presented. The staff all seemed to work extremely well! That takes a lot of training and good leadership. Bravo! I saw a few business men having their lunches as well as older couples. We were not dressed in business attire, but it didn't seem to matter. Service, food and presentation were SPOT ON Amazing! Thank you Ocean Prime for making our DC lunch a wonderful relaxing delicious experience.

Love Chan: Back at it AGAIN…my Fav❣️😋

Francina Thomas: My family made reservations at this Restaurant for my birthday celebration. I loved it, felt like a Queen for the evening. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The check in crew were friendly and professional- found our reservations and table was ready on the spot. Our waiter Alexander was superb !! He was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu, wine, sprits and dessert. His recommendations were excellent. He truly made my birthday special by treating me to my dessert. How sweet. The Food was Delicious 😋 😍!!! The prices were upscale but so was the service and food- definitely worth it. The portions were large. The variety was awesome. We tried a bottle of Resling wine from a California venue which was light, fruity and semi sweet - just like i like it. There were 6 of us coupled off with a meal price around $150.00 to $250.00 per couple. I will definitely keep this place in mind for a return visit.

Ron Paige: Amazing Experience. Sofia was an amazing Server. Professionalism personified❤ Dining Manager Ebony was amazing and checked on us along with the Sou Chef. It lives up to the hype. BEST Calamari EVER! Platter Up the snapper with a lobster tail and filet mignon. Thank me later.❤💯 The East Coast Oysters are Amazing. Thank you. Worth every dollar spent and wonder staff. THANK YOU for a great BDAY and sublime Dining experience.

Monica R S: Berries and Bubbles cocktail was soooo good and it was fun to watch the bubbles. The Prime Roll was delicious, good texture, fish was fresh. The Lobster Tails were perfectly cooked and it’s a big portion! The carrot cake is good but it’s a tad too sweet for my taste, it is a big portion so it’s good to share. Our server Derek was very attentive and friendly.

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.

Tiberiu Hrihorciuc: Loved the experience! Tasted a dozen oysters and each one was more delicious than the other. Wine is very fairly priced. Saw it more expensive in some New York wine discount stores. The fish was such a huge portion when they split it in two plates we told them that we did not order 2 plates but to our surprise that was a full plate. If you get a chance to go to happy hours for oysters don't hesitate!
Response: Thank you, Tiberiu!

Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…

Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.

Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.
Response: Suzi, Thank you for visiting Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience and we hope to have you back again the next time you're in town.

Mary H: What a DC institution. I've been here numerous times taking "out of town" guests but always failed to write a review... This place is busy and crowded... so make a reservation. Service is attentive and friendly. Try to get a seat in the atrium, much nicer and brighter. *turkey club-generous portions of turkey. It was good and the fries were nice and hot. *salad greens- tasty, I wanted something light. *calamari-nice and crispy. They have a good selection on their menu, we just weren't that hungry. It's kinda the place to go when you visit DC.
Response: Thank you, Mary!

Amy Workman: If you're worried that this a nice place turned tourist trap that cuts corners, worry not. We had a fantastic experience and the food was superb. Our server was in his 9th year here and I wished he could've just sat and talked with us all night. They were wonderfully accommodating and welcoming of our kids, which you definitely can't say about a lot of places. Some places know that if the kids are happy the parents are more than happy to get another round and more dishes. And then when we're sans-kids someday, we'll definitely be back to sit at one of the beautiful bars. We had the walrus raw bar which was perfect for us never having had raw oysters. They did a little of each kind they had that night and I had no idea oysters could taste so different. We had the mussels, kids mac and cheese, and sausage pasta dish. The pasta was house made and the sauce creamy and spicy. So good. After dinner we walked it off around the White House. I've spent much more at restaurants and not gotten half as much food or nearly as good as service, so even though it was our most expensive meal in DC it was also our best value. Definitely a must-go in DC.

Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.

Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍
Response: Jelena, Thank you for stopping by Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience and look forward to having you back again soon!

Matthew Hanna: This was a pretty cool place to eat. It is so old but very nice inside. Lots of preserved animals I didn't expect to see like sea turtles, walrus and more. The food was great and I really liked the drinks. You can still visit and get a really good burger and fries for like $18 or you can go all out and pay $100+ for a super delicious entree. Either way the alcohol is good.

BlackSalt: what do users think?

Anna S: Always delectable! I have been to BlackSalt on many occasions, and the service is always fantastic. This visit was no different from my previous visits. It is the experience you expect with fine dining. From the oysters, to my entree of red snapper with truffle sauce, the food could not have been better! (And I didn’t think I would like the truffle sauce at all! I was so glad I was wrong.) I will, of course, be back again.

JustHereForTheKarma: This was hands down the best seafood I've had in the metro area, it's pricey, but definitely worth it. Only downside was the waiter service was next to non-existent, but the was only one waiter for a while, so that can be forgiven. The folks cleaning up the tables were super fast though, so it was more a matter of putting the order in and dessert ordering. Still worth it.

Christina: Wonderful seafood place! Fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. We’re just visiting from overseas but would definitely come back if we lived in the area.

Joyce Y: First day in DC , we were hungry and excited to try this place. The oyster selection is good and I would come for oysters alone! The dishes are decent too but my seabass tasted very different from any other seabass I’ve had. The texture was so firm that I felt it was a disappointment. We didn’t like the menu selection for the entree but they pretty much did whatever fish my kids asked for, very flexible with us.

cesarnews4: Customer service at its best. This place has it all. Amazing food, great atmosphere, attention to detail, clean and cozy. My wife loves this place. I made a reservation for her birthday. The restaurant printed out a special menu with the date and a line saying “happy birthday” for our table .. Customized menus for us. How special is that??? After COVID many restaurants lost customer service , attention to detail. It seems like most restaurants are running short staff and it shows on the service level. NOT BLACKSALT This place has it together. Another example. When they brought our food, the ladies on the table get their plate 1st , then everyone else after. We noticed those details. That’s why they deserve 5 starts . Simply put, quality with taste. I highly recommend it . Plus the food is amazing

A. Manka: Well executed food with great flavor! Also received teamwork approach who met our needs and made our experience smooth and relaxing. We have been coming for years.

Meme Smith: It was nice last min plan, first time having Caviar. Would had been nice to know the key notes of the Caviar before I had ordered....the drink was not great I had ordered Cocgnac cocktail that was ruined with a lemon. But over all it was nice I would try it again

David Hosey: Friendly atmosphere. Food was decent but the petit tower wasn’t as fresh as we would have hoped. Overall good experience

Floyd Le Vere II: Best tuna I ever had in my 42 years. Who knew peanut sauce went with mangos and noodles?? Dear God, praise this place, and me, so I can come BACK!

Steve O: The host was great and our waitress started off as a little cold but, then we found out she was the only one there. The calamari was Grrrreeeeaaaattt, especially the bread it was served on

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks: what do users think?

Tracey Robinson: So we went here for our 4 year anniversary because I'm a seafood lover and when I tell you my Lobster was so fresh and so well prepared (shout out to the chef)! the waiter that we had wasn't as great but the food was so good you kind of forget about her forgetting everything. My margarita that I ordered was different it came with a hot pepper in it but it was still good and strong I guess that's a thing in DC because a couple of restaurants I went to had peppers in the margarita.

Jason Jonathan: Coming here with my partner during our trip to D.C., and it was one of our best decision. Our waitress, Jessica, was very friendly. We ordered the stuffed salmon and their top sirloin, both of which were very tender and reasonably seasoned. Somehow we love their mashed potatoes very much! It's smooth and creamy, perfect!
Response: It was a pleasure serving you! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you'll come and see us again soon!

Tiffany Smith: Went here with a friend and everything was outstanding; from our waiter (only wish I could recall his name) to our dessert. The wine list was exceptional, the oysters were delicious as was the Seabass that I had and the lobsters that my friend had. We even finished up with some cheesecake. Service was A++

Warman Hall: I got the chance to visit while I was in Washington DC for a conference. The other folks in the group wanted to try this place. I'm very glad we went. The steak was outstanding! While the stalks of asparagus I ordered were larger than I was used to getting it was perfectly cooked. I was told to try the lobster bisque and it was one of the best choices I made on the whole trip. I highly recommend this for a special night out for anyone in the area.
Response: Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. We hope to see you again soon!

Craig GroveRealtor: Had an excellent experience. Our waiter AJ was super friendly and made great suggestions. He made us feel extremely comfortable and laugh. The steak and sides were delicious. Highly recommended! Ask for AJ!

Monique Jackson King: I had a long travel day and was really happy to finally sit and enjoy a meal! I came in and when the hostess (African-American woman with blonde hair in a bun) walked up, she didn’t say hello or ask how many would be dining. She looked at me awkwardly for a moment and I then asked to be seated. She told me they weren’t taking any more walk in guests (the dining room had available seating). She didn’t offer an alternative. I asked her if the bar was open and she asked another host, or host manager, who was standing there. I seated myself and enjoyed my meal, but was disappointed in that being my first “greeting.” It lacked hospitality and professionalism. The server at the bar was great and made up for the earlier experience.
Response: We are always looking for ways to improve and would appreciate any additional feedback you would be willing to provide at the link below. Thank you. http://ms.spr.ly/6269b6G3W

Courtney B: My first time here and I loved it! It was a friends 35th birthday, they gave the 5 of us a private booth, that we could close the curtain for more privacy if needed. Bella our sever was amazing from start to finish. I got the crab and shrimp stuffed salmon and it was really good with the lobster bisque mashed potatoes! I will definitely be back!
Response: It was a pleasure serving you! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you'll come and see us again soon!

Dani Elle: Very good food. Cosmo drink was one of the best I've ever had. Service was attentive but slow (the norm post-COVID in my experience) so be prepared for a leisurely meal. I'll be back!

Phillip Bulger: Food was good, but not great value for price. Service could have been better, a few orders for a group of 10 were missed. Steak needed to be sent back. Overall still a good experience.

SuJin Choi: Made a dinner reservation for 5:30pm through opentable, we had to wait for the waiter to sit us at 5:50pm and the restaurant was clearly empty and even made few eye contacts with a few of the servers walking around in the back). The woman's restroom ran out of soap and had an odd odor. At a time with the COVID19 going around, you would think a restaurant would stock up on soap for their customers. We ordered the fried calamari and arugula salad. Fourth of the calamari was fried veggies/jalapenos. The lobster tails were alright. We got the C.A.B NY strip with bone in at medium rare but it came closer to medium/medium well and some burnt edges. Truffle fries tasted like normal fries. Nothing too special and truffle about it. Not sure if I'll make another visit (at least at this location).

Richard Holst: Elegant and delicious. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant has many quiet and corners with the perfect atmosphere. It is well organized and very clean, every inch has amazing details. The food and drink selection is extensive and everything we had was prepared to perfection. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area. We will be back here often.

Keana Williams: This was an enjoyable food experience from the appetizer breads and jelly, to the Prawn appetizer dish all the way to the lightest and fluffiest pancakes I possibly have ever had! No extra syrup needed!!! Not to mention, the bottomless Mimosas (or other drinks) weren't that bad either... I'm sure you will enjoy this place, just make sure you bring your check book! 😄😄

Dario Camilo Barros Viñas: 5 stars for real in every aspect. It has both a very fancy area indoor and a fancy yet relaxed area in the patio. The service was amazing, the food was superb, the cocktails were delicious and generous. Canver the manager was very kind and served us the calamari complementary make us feel even better served! I didn’t know the Branzino taste this good until I tried it here. We were only two so we couldn’t try more plates but do yourself a favor and try Fiola Mare!

Christopher Gillespie: All about the dining experience here, they go above and beyond. Did the bottomless brunch with amazing views. Brunch at this level of execution will be very tough to match. The blue fin ahi could be best bites of 2022 to date. The scallop crudo was melt in the mouth. Worth the price of admission.

Pe Lin (Cilibluebird): A five star seafood restaurant that deserves the five star. Great for special events minimum 50 USD per per person, but well deserved. Hakan was our server and he made this experience exceptional. Pasta’s are excellent. Georgetown next to water. Outside seating is great in the evenings of hot summers.

Roz Manning: Fabulous venue for our intimate wedding dinner with family. The Mermaid Room and adjoining patio were perfect. The appetizers were delicious, dinner was delectable and service superb.

Vannora Hawkins: We dined here for my husband's birthday. The food, service and ambience was A+. He got the Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection. My branzino was light, flaky and simply delicious. The oysters were AMAZING! The Brussels Sprouts is a must try! After trying to decide over 8 restaurants, we were glad we ended up at Fiola Mare.

Mike: Easter brunch was amazing. Staff, as always, is fantastic.Intro: watercress soup and the other dish white asparagus.Mains: blue crab omelette and Australian lamb.Glad to see that a packed restaurant. Make reservations!

Alemselam Tekeba: So delicious food. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant don’t have an Apple Pay, since me and my wife use’s almost everywhere and one additional thing wore if you don’t have an ID card you can’t be served alcohol even if we look adults we felt uncomfortable but we used other credit cards to pay and we cancel my wife’s wine order. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area.

Tash M: Had a private dinner here and it was an exceptional experience. The food was lovely, so was the service. Special thanks to Darina for being so attentive and providing an especially memorable experience.

Del Mar: what do users think?

Genesis Marrero: I was truly impressed with this dining experience. We flew to DC for my birthday week and had my birthday dinner here. Luis served us and he was definitely one of the best servers we have ever had wait on us (and we are huge foodies so that is saying something). He was so attentive and just knew exactly how to guide the dining experience based on what the guests is wanting out of their night whether they know specifically or not. We let him take the wheel with all of the knowledgeable recommendations and we were so happy from start to finish. We came back for our last meal in DC and again, Amber served us, and again we were not disappointed. She was so sweet and also had wonderful recommendations and made sure all of our needs were met before we said goodbye and hopped on a flight. Luckily Luis was also there and he remembered us which made us happy because he was also so memorable for us. He was so nice and sent us our new favorite drink that he enlightened us to - the carajillo. I don’t think you could go wrong with a single thing on this menu. The rest of the staff was also very efficient and everything just seemed to flow so smoothly with the teamwork here. I can’t wait to go back someday!

R: This was my first time going to Del Mar and the food was phenomenal! We went as a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. It was my first time trying octopus and it was really good. The parking in the garage was $45 since I stay for 4+ hours which was a downside for the night so it might be better to find street parking.

Dondré: I rented an igloo and I took my family here for my Mother's birthday and my experience was incredible. The bubbles aka the igloos are nice and incredibly warm. The service is five stars absolutely fantastic, the waiter was nice and patient explaining the family style ordering style. The whole restaurant is extremely nice and well decorated it's like a huge mansion. Lastly this is not a cheap restaurant by any means, but the experience is worth it.

Jack Jiang: It's a bit pricy, but the food and service are worth the penny you spent! I love how the chef perfectly blends flavors together (like pepper+crab+uni sauce). The Sangria Roja cocktail is also a highlight, mixing the richness of wine and the sweet/sour touch of fruits/flowers - one of the best cocktails I've had in a while! Would recommend to everyone

J. Ivy Smith: Food was AMAZING! This should get. Michelin Star. There paella is the best I have had. I want to say there paella and cheesecake is similar to José Andre. Service was excellent and our waiter reminded us of actor John Mulaney. I def recommend this place and def Michelin Star worthy.

Black Star Dust: Absolutely stunning place. Great service. Top tier experience. Everything was a ten. The Seafood Paella is delicious. Highly recommend that dish. It comes in different sizes for sharing. It was my bday so they brought out gratis champagne and this cheesecake that was literally the one of the most delicious desserts to grace the planet. Don’t even get me started on the churros! Amazing! I also did come in with a VIP who goes there regularly so that surely may have enhanced the experience to 10 stars!!

Jo Han: If you are looking for high quality food and drinks then this is the place to be. I love their octopus and eggplants with drinks. There are so many selections but if you want to eat a lot then I'll go for paella. If you are going for drinks and chat then small plates are awesome and very flavorful. We come here multiple times when we come near here and never had bad experiences. Service is great too. So when you are at wharf then come by and try this place =)

Eli Samuel Bermudez: Beautiful restaurant, beautiful location and delicious food. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because is very expensive. Maybe ridiculously expensive for the food. Still a great experience for me and my wife for our anniversary !

Alya's Aura: The food was SO delicious and of course the service was top notch. Our waiter (I believe his name is Michael) was so nice and helpful and made some great recommendations. I definitely suggest leaving space for dessert because their little dulce de leche dark chocolate cakes with the horchata ice cream was beyond amazing! The perfect end to a great meal 👌🏾

Daisy Gutierrez: Food was good. Not great but good. The service was great! This wine was my fave. A little overpriced only because I feel at those prices the food should taste better. They have a great selection though! I had the seafood paella it lacked flavor. My friend had some green rice thing, neither of us raved about our main courses. The patatas bravas are good but could use more of the brava sauce.

Nick's Riverside Grill: what do users think?

Jeffrey Brooks-Holliday: Service was not so great. Definitely room for improvement. Management should know that they have tours coming and going from that area and should have a system to reflect that. Food and drinks were decent, filling and fulfilled its purpose. Will try again on next trip here and revise review if service standards improve.

R Howell: It was my birthday weekend and a friend tteated me. We got seated right away. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. Our waitress was gery busy but took excellent care of us. The atmosphere was nice. We were right next to the water but protected with awning to block the sun. The food was very good. I had shrimp cocktail with a side caesar salad. My friend had the sangria and said it was really good. She never finishes her drinks but finshed the sangria in record time! She liked her old bay wings and said french fries were tasty!

Chellé Wilson: The view was the best part!! Right by the water and the day was beautiful. Waa a little disappointed in the food though. After going through traffic. Of course not great parking. But location is worth it. Had to find a table for the waiters to even come to you. That took 15 mins. Had to move closer to the crowd. Not sure if that day they were short handed. But server was nice. I wouldn't so much go back but it was good for what it was worth.

Armida (Justmida): Food was excellent! Mahi-mahi tacos, shrimp alpastor , fried camari all very good!

Hana T: We have gone there for a family dinner with over 10 people! It was one of their slowest day so they wasn't sure if they had enough to serve all of us. However, they were able to serve all of us with their delicious😋 burgers, nachos and chicken! The employees went above and beyond and made our visit wonderful ! Will definitely go back and highly recommend!
Response: Thanks Hana! Glad you enjoyed your dinner with us. Please come again soon.

Amanda Montgomery: Do not dine here. I had an unpleasant experience at Nick's Riverside Grill and will not return. My friends, who visited the restaurant on different occasions, also had troublesome experiences. In my case, the manager Ricky Powell and members of the evening staff were incredibly rude to my dinner party. There were so many mishaps, I just cannot and will not recommend Nick's Riverside Grill to anyone. First, a waiter told one of my guests "I'm not taking your order until you get off your phone". He circled the table many times, then purposefully did not take her order - at all. She was actually reviewing the menu! Unfortunately, my guest decided to leave and enjoyed her dining experience next door. I was embarrassed that I had selected this restaurant. In another scenario, patrons were under the influence and would stumble in and out of the bathroom. One patron fell on our table, TWICE, knocking over drinks and food. We asked to be moved and were not accommodated. The food was not comped, and no one would take our REORDER. It was a terrible, terrible experience. I'm disgusted.

Dolly J Jackson: OMGoodness!!! Why? Why was the food so Bomb! I can not wait to go back to the DMV area- I will definitely be visiting here again. GOD willing life spared. Delicioso!!!

Richard Nelson: Went for a hike and was in the area of george town and remembered I had a groupon for this place. So got my friends to go with me. The location is nice and I guess thats the reason they still in business charging these prices for this food. We went on a saturday around 2 so the place and area was pretty crowded. We got seated immediately however. The table was kind of weird like and outdoor fireplace table, but can't complain we didn't have to wait. Then we went to order. Got a calamari appetizer and it was just average. To soft for me. This came out relatively fast. We also ordered a pesto pasta and a smash burger. This part for a pasta and burger took about 1hr 15 mins to hit our table. During our wait I asked the waiter if we could just also put in an order of onion rings. He said no can't do that they only come with the burger. Kinda weird especially since we ordered a burger and we wanted something to eat while waiting over an hour for our food. Finally the food arrived. The smash burger wasn't impressive. The fries had no salt. The pesto pasta was just bland and for about 22 dollars that pesto pasta was super disappointing. Luckily our waiter did one right thing that day and gave us our meal free. For having to wait so long and not being able to get us onion rings. Overall wouldn't return especially for these prices. I guess since its right on the water near georgetown the foot traffic enough to bring people in. I still do have the groupon and will need to return to use it. So they have a second chance to amaze me. Second review: I bumped Nicks Grill to a 3 star now. The experience this time was much better and we got to use our groupon. We both ordered the New York Strip steaks. This tasted so much better than our food last time. However they were definitely over cooked for our request of medium. Also it was better than last times food, but still not amazing for 30 dollars. Luckily we had a groupon. We got seated fast again. Our waiter was more attentive at the start then slowly became less attentive. We needed more water. Overall after to visits I think the place is pretty average and its pricey. I won't return unless I had another groupon. Or they start a happy hour maybe.

jose rospigliosi: Nothing spectacular. Ordered crab cake sandwich. Crab Cake was tiny. A bunch of lettuce and tomato. No flavor. The fries were average. It was really humid/hot inside. Calamari was average.

Raymond Zeigler: Great view of the Potomoc River. We ate waterside! The food and service was awesome! A lite shower went through while we were eating but we had a patio umbrella over us so we stayed dry. Great experience!

Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood and Crab: what do users think?

R Robertson: ~*Service was excellent. Cocktails were really good. The ambience along with live music spectacular. Loved the orchids they have around. The carpet on the stairwell is cute. Bathrooms were clean. Food was really good. Valet was pricey…. $20. I would recommend going here. Been to their location in Austin as well and loved it.*~

rana kingi: Sexy atmosphere. Amazing service. Food was superb. We had the branzino which was cooked perfectly. Lobster Mac n cheese, lacked on lobster but still great. And steamed spinach was divine. Drinks great. Live music was wonderful and set the mood.

Matt K: Eating here was absolutely excellent. Our server T, went above and beyond, she also surprised us with baked Alaska for my wife's birthday. Rose petals were on the table! How romantic is that?! I could take a long time to gush about the whole meal and experience, but I simply don't have the time. Food, wine, live music, a free dessert, careful attention. 11/10.

Nay Nay: Everything was lovely! My daughter really enjoyed this upscale restaurant. The food, my drink hit every spot in my body(laughing out loud), our server Paul is fantastic!, bathroom with those nice cotton hand towels, and the music. The only thing I want to say is that I'm not a salt kind of person so with that being said they have to use less salt on the food. Other than that I highly recommend.

Diedre Jernigan: Dining here is a true experience. The customer service is impressive to the fact that you feel pampered. The drinks and food are pleasing to the eye and delicious. The dining experience includes a skillful musician that puts his spin on popular music.

MISS Morgan: My only complaint is that I couldn't try the whole menu. This is what dining should be about...delicious food, friendly and knowledgeable servers, immaculately clean, great music, and perfect ambiance..my expectations were exceeded and I pray that when I return all is the same. Thank you, I have hope again that there are still great restaurants out there. Lastly, I've never, ever been asked if I had a food allergy, ever when dining! This place is exceptional and special. I'll be back! Our server, Tone was amazing!

Kem doricent: Fernando our server did an excellent job he made us feel welcome attended to all our needs answered every question. Please if you go ask for Fernando

Tea Jay: Our first time here with coworkers, 5 star restaurant and service. Food, dessert, drinks and customer service were awesome!! We went during lunch everything was excellent, we will return! This is truly fine dining!!

Aniya Cloyd: Went to Trulucks for my 8year anniversary and I am amazed. First off our server Bryan had exquisite knowledge about the menu. He was very professional and personable at the same time. I would for sure recommend him because he was just over all magnificent. The ambiance of this place was upscale and beautiful. The food was worth the price and the portions that you Get. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that we had nothing short of an amazing experience. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would, I have no complaints.

Wayna Taylor: Everything about this restaurant is great- ambience, food, staff, etc! I visited on a Tuesday for dinner. There was a live band playing in the bar area (a great vibe). Our server, Chris, is the best. He’s knowledgeable and we didn’t have to look for him when needed. He was on point the entire visit. All the seafood was fresh and tasty! I especially enjoyed the crab & shrimp Napoleon, seared scallops, and the carrot cake. I will definitely visit the next time I’m in DC. 😊

Municipal Fish Market at The Wharf: what do users think?

Shriya Amit: Though I miss Captain White’s Seafood place, it’s still a great visit to the Fish Market at The Wharf. Since the time we started eating raw oysters, we visit this place quite often and have oysters shucked right in front of your eyes. Miss the mango lemonade from Captain White and the waterfront seating area where we used to enjoy having crab legs. Shoutout to the guy in red who was so amazing & was putting in so much effort looking for the right oyster.

* dnainsb: Great place to get fresh crab and seafood! Some of the stalls will steam the crab for you. There's another stall that will shuck the oysters you buy for you and there are some stalls that sell fresh fish for you to cook at home. The whole area doesn't smell fishy and is clean and well kept all of the stall owners obviously have pride in their product.

Cheryl J: Not as robust as it was the last time I was here but the freshness of the seafood is still the best around. In addition you now have options of various restaurants and parking garages. Gentrification has definitely taken hold of this location with apartments units on the wharf that includes parking. New places to ventures in addition to getting your fresh seafood options to take home. Fish, shrimp, octopus, scallop, lobster, and of course the variety of crabs…crabs in abundance. Live blue crabs, crab legs, Dungeness crabs and the list goes on…by the pound, bushel or case; whatever your pocket can afford is available.

Edward Amartey-Tagoe: Went to Hank’s and Chopsmith for dinner. We also went through the sea food stalls to see the variety of fresh sea food they served. I will come back to get some fresh tilapia and shrimps for home cooking. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting DC or live here. Parking could be hard to find, so consider using public transport.

Hilda Kroll: Worth a visit even if you're not buying anything. If you do want fresh fish or seafood and you don't live nearby and parking is a problem, the neighborhood shuttle runs every ten or fifteen minutes and is a short ride to the Metro.

JAM Esteban: Beware when you buy cook crabs. Some are old and light. Even we ask for all female crabs they put more than 8 male out of 2 dozen.

A V: Super fresh and tasty seafood. Raw to take home of cooked to eat there.

Juan Garcia: Amazing seafood. Served off the pier.Wait is short during the morning...and about 20 mins during rush hour.

Devonne Knight: The crabs I got were quite meaty. 👌🏽 The service on the uncooked side was really fast. The oyster guy was a bit rude but the oysters received were superb. You'll definitely get great value for your money.

Angus Bennion: The fresh seafood looked great, the hot food we got were ok (crab cakes and Maryland crab soup).

Sequoia DC: what do users think?

Ashley Emtcheu: The food is delicious, the place is decorated beautiful with Christmas decorations besides its classy and upscale look. Wasn't able to try a drink I was recommended to try by the server but overall great experience. Place is located in a great location which is great if your wanting to get great photos with friends/family. Parking Garage is 2 minutes away in walking distance to this restaurant which is very convenient. 👍🏾

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

Renee McCracken: Mother's Day Brunch at Sequoia has now become our new tradition. The food was excellently prepared and the service was outstanding. The entertainment was a great addition to our experience. I did have one hiccup during our time there but it was promptly handled and it was like it never happened. I love Sequoia and will definitely recommend and return.

Vy H.: Came here recently Saturday night for a private holiday event—had a great time! The restaurant is huge and beautifully decorated to fit the Christmas/Holiday theme. We had open bar—they have a huge selection of liquor! Food was decent—the hors d'oeuvres were delicious, the main dishes were just okay. Staff are all pretty friendly. There’s a coat check room downstairs when you enter, and an elevator if you don’t want to walk up all the stairs.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Mastro's Steakhouse: what do users think?

John Darden: The steaks were cooked just right. Our waiter was polite and make our evening more enjoyable. The lobster mash potatoes had plenty of lobster meat; however, it was oily. If you like lemon drops then you should definitely try theirs because of the taste and presentation. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were huge. We had added crab meat to one of the steaks; however, we felt as though the restaurant could have included more meat relative to the cost of the dish but it was good. You can pay your bill using your phone. That was a nice touch (no need to wait for someone to come back to you) We plan on coming back.

Jaela Ford: This review is strictly for the waitress named Nicole. We would have given 5 stars if she did not taint our experience in the beginning. We were told by the hostess that she would be our “wonderful” waitress. She also came over to bring us menus and ask our water preference as if she was our waitress. However, for some odd reason the waiter was switched. When she was acting as our waitress, she was extremely short when answering our questions & seemed as though she did not want to be bothered. She also never introduced herself. We had to ask our new waiter for her name. There was absolutely nothing positive about her. It was as if she had pre judged us just because we were a table of young black women. Thankfully, our new waiter Phillip came over and saved the night. He was super welcoming and helpful. He answered all of our questions with a smile. His customer service was top tier! The drinks and food were also amazing! Thank you Phillip!
Response: Hi Jaela. Thank you for choosing to dine with us, as we know you could have chosen anywhere to enjoy your meal. We are always looking for ways to improve, and would appreciate any feedback you would be willing to provide at the link below. http://ms.spr.ly/6260wuAhs

Junaid O: Definitely one of the best restaurants in DC. Went to Mastro's for my cousins birthday dinner, reserved the private room downstairs(check with the team for availability). We got there about an hour and a half before closing, yet they were very patient with us. The shrimp cocktail and Woodford Manhattan were excellent. Tried some of the other appetizers from the table and everything tested pretty well. For the main course I had the Rack of Lamb, didn't disappoint at all. Dessert was no different as well, the butter cake was the highlight for sure. Highly recommend!

Jennifer Driggers Driggers Group Real Estate: Our family ate here for New Year's Eve 2021 on our trip to D.C. We thoroughly enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the service. The Wagyu steak was definitely worth the money. The lobster mac n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes were great along with the Bacon and sau'teed shrimp appetizers. For desert definitely must try the warm butter cake. Wish we had a Mastro's closer to home. We will definitely go back!!
Response: Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. Your satisfaction is our priority, and as affirmed by your review, we pride ourselves on our exceptional service. We sure hope to see you again soon!

Mary McKay: We couldn’t have chosen a better establishment to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. The service size of everything is huge! You could definitely share every course and spend half the money…or if your like us, we enjoy the left overs the best day 😍.
Response: Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. Your satisfaction is our priority, and as affirmed by your review, we pride ourselves on our exceptional service. We sure hope to see you again soon!

Michaela: Service is the strongest aspect of this fine dining experience. We reserved a private room for a birthday party, the ambiance was very nice, but the fees are a bit much. The birthday girl had a glorious seafood tower, that came out in a cloud of fog. Great insta moment!I ordered a medium porterhouse that was over cooked, I had to send it back but the waiter was great about getting me a new steak. I will say, I prefer Morton's porterhouse. The star dish was the warm butter cake at the end of the meal. Do stop by and get that at a minimum.

Ariel Aviles: Mastro's was a great surprise for our DC trip. Super fancy decor, low light and superb service. Appetizers where on point (shrimps, burrata), steak was perfect and the wine selection impressive! Highly recommended.
Response: Thank you for your review. We’re glad you had a good experience and hope to see you again soon!

D P: I had a blast at this place. DC establishment. It's hardly any parking but Madtro's does have valet service. In house music. The wait staff is like there and attentive. The food was good. Lobster Mac and cheese, swordfish, steak asparagus and shrimp scampi. All was so good. The drink list is extensive but good. The bourbon. Jet setter was a great choice. The dessert don't get me started on the seasonal butter cake 🍰. Bomb 💣💣. Go and enjoy this place it's definitely worth it. Dress nice. Don't go in there looking homely.

Mark Blanchard: Food was great, but service was a little slow. It took more than 20 minutes for out server to acknowledge us and get us a beverage. The table next to us was annoying. It was 4 people Facetiming someone the entire time we were there, and on speaker. I'm all about sharing memories with loved ones, but use earphones please! It's rude to other customers otherwise. The restaurant also made a mistake on our bill but later corrected it. Overall a good experience, but could be better given the price.
Response: Thank you for your review. We’re glad you had a good experience and hope to see you again soon!

Renee M: Sooo...the wagyu steak was delicious and the seared scallops were the BEST I have ever had! The sear on both dishes was perfect, the flavors were on point, and the meat melted in my mouth like butter! The drinks were CRAZY good, like strong, but made with appreciation for the full flavor profile vs just the liquor. Our server, Rice, aka the Tony Baker look a like was on it. He was very attentive and gave us great suggestions. We have 4 sides, 2 were bomb and 2 were not. The roasted brussels a sprouts and the cream spinach were tasty. The cream corn was gross and the lobster mac was under whelming. For $40 a side I would like more flavor. The atmosphere was cool. The live singer was entertaining and awkward. I would go back just to chill at the bar.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It means so much when our customers share their experiences. We are glad we were able to meet your expectations! We hope to see you again soon!

Shrimp Boat Plaza: what do users think?

Lady J: The greens are excellent, the potato salad was on point, and the ribs nice and tender. Overall the food was absolutely excellent ‼️. I would purchase again.
Response: Hi Lady j Thank you for your great support. Thanks again

Cassie: Ordered two meals and the flavors were immaculate😩 Lo-mien was so good

Jamilla: Honestly guys… palms face** how could anyone eat here?? This is not soul food. I am trying to be as polite as possible . But Jesus Christ! There is no way this restaurant/bodega passed an inspection. No way at all. I literally wanted to puke just walking in. I gave this place 2 stars because the staff is friendly. But if you are looking for soul food how in the world would you end up here??? THIS IS NOT A SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT! As for my friend who suggested this place to me. If I never see his face or this restaurant again it will be too soon.

stkmon1: Time says close 9:00 pm they always close 7 to 8 mins before, leaving people outside wanting food. They use to much salt in the food, leaving you with a headache. Myself along with other customers outside we agreed we done. The thrill is over.
Response: Hi I am sorry for what happened on ur experience but we have to close at 9 pm and clean the inside. So please try to came on time so we can serve you. Thanks

Madeline Ferrell: Great 10's across the board. If something is wrong, they will gladly rectify the issue.

Christopher Covington: This place is hit or miss. When you cat h the food fresh it's pretty good but other times its subpar. Also the tea that they sell tastes artificial and synthetic! It's horrible.

LaurieAnn White: I love the PEACH COBBLER!!! Staff is wonderful and friendly. Unfortunately, the location is scary.

T. Dixon: Although they started late, the food is delicious.

Marsha Bass: Shrimp Boat is a DC landmark and food experience. It has Soul Food, The BBQ chicken wings are the best. They sell baked fish, chicken, turkey wings, etc. Anything you could think of. I love their vegetables. The mixed vegetables and the cabbage are my favorite. They sell breakfast throughout the day, It is a popular landmark for Benning Road and East Capital Street. East Capital Street crosses into MD. Shrimp boat also has the outside vendors on the East Capital side during the late spring and summer. It also sits next to the Benning Rosd subway station on the Benning road side of NE.

Mark Butler: Food wasn't good waste money on something that looked good and tasted like.. garbage

Seafood Shanty: what do users think?

me jones: They have Horace and Dickey beat. Trout and Whiting was fresh french fries and coleslaw with delicious price for a four piece dinner was $9.99. Their fish was not cooked from frozen or from a very chilled state the fish was tender and you can taste the flavor and it flake when you broke it. There was a long wait because they only let three people in at a time do the covid restrictions but the fish was worth the wait. My waite time was 35 minutes on the clock and i watched a steady stream of people go in some ordered and exited and some went in to pick up their orders. I can see myself returning.

Gabriel Ali: I had the jumbo shrimp and they were fried perfectly. Fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly as well. I will be back. Nice friendly staff at the Shanty. Can't wait to try the scallops next.

Lady Tee: I ordered a scallop platter. Was charged 12.99 for it. When I got the food it was a cold and old fried shrimp platter which is only 8.99. When I called them and told them that I had ordered a scallop platter I was informed they do not have a scallop platter. I asked why it was listed on their menu and why was i charged for it. The guy on the phone said he was just the cook. Very disappointed. Won't order from there again

Ivey King: I live in Florida. Every time I come to visit my family in Maryland. I always have to stop at this place to get me a trout dinner. I have never had a bad experience. Love their trout.

Virginia Pauls: Great food and view! We had the cod and fries, steamed shrimp, and crab dip. Wonderful! Will definitely be back!!!

Ruby Rowland: They said stop taking orders at 8:30, but I called them at 8:15pm repeatedly there was no answer they close at 9:pm. This has happen 2 time before. May be we ask a community needs to start thinking this over. They may taste good but everyone needs to be treated equally, we must not be blind by good or great taste only . Keep they good work dose not mean ignore the few. Have you looked at some of the people giving the reviews.Because see some grow up dose not mean equally to all.

Crystal Baltimore: Fish was fried perfectly! They skimped on the fries but they were delish

Craig Griffin: Wow, so many fish choices at this place. I ordered 1/2 pound of shrimp and fried clams, delicious. Plenty of free parking. Near beltway. Hole in the wall type place, food only to go. Covid19 precautions in place here. I will return!

MAJ: I took a flyer on this place while looking for some where to get fried fish. To my surprise, the food was very good. I ordered the Fried Whiting fish dinner with roll, Coleslaw and Fries. The fish was nicely fried, not greasy, and coleslaw was good as well. I plan on adding this place into rotation when I get the urge for for a fried fish meal. I recommend.

Emily Kingston: Seafood Shanty reminds me of a "hole in the wall" place that cranks out great tasting seafood. For me, fried fish is eye food as well and each time I've gotten food there it's been delicious and fried to perfection. All I've ever gotten is fish but they sell other seafood as well. Not a varied side menu but the fish is excellent. Cooked with corn meal...yummy just like I used to get in New Orleans.

Hitching Post Restaurant: what do users think?

Candace Martin: Listen to me! .......Please...if you are looking for hot, fresh, well seasoned food, decent portion sizes, attentive and polite staff and great atmosphere, then you must go to the Hitching Post. You will not be disappointed. My mom, daughter and I were in DC for the day, we wanted some good soul food...and our expectations were exceeded to the umpth degree, The catfish was delicious (in my Tommy Davidson -Martin show voice). Nothing was over seasoned or too salty, the fish was fried to perfection, mac and cheese was flavorful and rich, the greens were succulent. We cleaned our plates! My only criticism would be, if I can even truly call it that is, they do not have yams on the menu. In my humble opinion, yams are the quintessential component of soul food. Please add yams to the menu! Anytime I'm back in DC, this will be my spot!

C.R. Banks: Nice little cozy spot. Wait staff/mgr are very friendly. Ribs were delicious "fall off the bone".The calamari tasty and crunchy, not rubbery. Crabcakes were ok...l like more "lump".

Tanya Lowe: They food is amazing I came here when I was pregnant with my baby I couldn’t wait to come back and now I’m in heaven! Great customer service and wonderful host. BTW they fried chicken wings are the Bomb!!!

Hypnotik Vanity: NOT BLACK OWNED!!!!! Very quaint and welcoming home that was converted to a restaurant. Indoor and outdoor setting makes it a plus. Location seems to be hidden by some trees and it was passed up several times. Very little parking. Food truly is less than delicious or even good at best. From kitchen to table time was not long, food just lacked flavor. The customer service is superb! Server SAUVE was extremely pleasant and informative with the menu options. Best part of this visit was the customer service and over all atmosphere.
Response: I am sorry your experience wasn’t the best, We understand regional food had many variants and what for many our food is the best in miles for others like you is not. If you have the opportunity to come again please express your concerns while you are here, that way we can save you time and money. Thank you. your comment is baseless.

Brendan Hogan: First time dining here but won’t be the last. Catfish and fried chicken were incredible. Potato salad and collared greens were fantastic, too. Only place I’ve ever seen have a weekend happy hour. Chandler was a great waiter!

Elizabeth Chu: The customer service is EXCELLENT. I mistakenly did pick up instead of delivery and didn’t have a way of getting my food but one of their servers, Antoine, was GENEROUS AND GRACIOUS enough to deliver my food after he had completed his shift. I am so grateful for this amazing customer service. I cannot praise him or this restaurant enough. This was so kind. And of course the food is very good. Thank you thank you!!!!

Linda Lewis: Been coming here for about a year now and I can say I have never had a bad experience the food is excellent I highly recommend the brunch and definitely the fried chicken meal you won’t be disappointed

Nour Nadri: Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally visited last night. Truly amazing food, beautiful patio, and friendly staff. Got the fried chicken sandwich and it was out of this world. Will most definitely be returning and trying other menu items.

Brian Johnson: The food is always great! I’ve tried several dishes and have not been disappointed. This is my go-to spot when I’m craving a home cooked meal! My favorite is the Wing dinner with potato salad and cabbage!

Karen Turnage: Difficult to review restaurants when they make a sincere effort and do not quite measure up to one’s expectations. Pros: Order was correct Seasoning on chicken good Cornbread good Decent portion size Cons: Side items needed A LOT more seasoning (cabbage, greens and Mac n’ cheese) Expensive Disappointed with taste of crab cake

Bobby Van’s Steakhouse: what do users think?

Aislinn Nyx: The service was very prompt and attentive. We tried out the seafood tower, the jumbo shrimp were delicious but the cold lobster with no butter was off-putting. I ordered the filet mignon and it was dry but well seasoned. My husband had the ribeye and a baked potato and mushrooms. The sides were very generous and delicious. The lava cake was standard. Overall, it was an okay dinner but the lack of ambience and quality of food makes the bill seem ridiculous.

Tonia Scott: The steak was really flavorful. I enjoyed it a lot. Was surprised by the limited menu items (what's with that lil paper menu). Went there because I heard about their lobster diablo, wasn't even on that menu. Did I get there too late(reservations were at 7:30pm)? The chef did switch out the shrimp fettuccine for lobster but it was lil baby ones. Had a good taste so I was satisfied. Might go back. Would like to try the porterhouse steak.

Yolanda P.: Bobby Van's was a nice and classy experience! We had jumbo shrimp cocktail, Asian pear salad, Chicken marsala, shrimp fettuccine in garlic wine sauce, creamed spinach, seasonal vegetables (broccolini), cheesecake, and carrot cake. The salad and shrimp cocktail were very delicious! I was not too pleased with the shrimp fettuccine. It could use some added seasoning (very blan). The chicken marsala was reportedly good. The restaurant is nice but somewhat old-fashioned...very classy though! I suggest getting an early reservation or you will feel rushed by your waiter lol! Overall it was great experience and I might recommend it to others.

Rachel Murphy: Went for the first time with a Groupon. It was a ton of food. The filet was well cooked and the sides - mushrooms and sprouts- were very good. Saturday half off bottles of wine made this a very affordable night out.

Amber B.: Attended a work event here. They were easily able to accommodate 20 people. Service was fantastic and food was phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed what they had. We all ordered appetizers, salads, entrees, shared sides and enjoyed their lovely wine selection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a nice steak/seafood dinner.

L J: Went here for an early Father's Day dinner, used a Groupon voucher. All of the food was delicious! Didn't have anything either one of us wasn't thrilled with. Beautiful atmosphere, I will say the booth was a bit tight. But that's only because I'm 7 months pregnant and well, big old belly. Will recommend going back and plan to take more family members. Valet parking across the street is very convenient and made everything easy.

Charles Davis: Sorry, but the filet was a bit old, dry, and average at best. At 3:00 am I woke up with, let’s just say, “gastrointestinal distress”. Not fun. Great atmosphere and service, and I left a good tip because it isn’t the servers fault. However, I’d avoid the Filet. Very disappointed: I had brought a kid who I’ve mentored for 12 years as a special treat because I’m so proud of him: awesome guy. Sorry to say the steak was sub-par at best. The only reason I didn’t send it back is because I didn’t want to sully the moment. Maybe it was a fluke: lots of good reviews on here. Maybe we were judged because he’s a blue color kid, and they felt they could pawn off an old cut. But really? You either have integrity or you don’t. On the bright side, the fries, bread and asparagus were great. 😂

Bill Farmer: Went to Bobby Van's recently on a Saturday night for the first time and has a great experience. The service was top notch and the filet mignon was cooked and seasoned just right.

Charlie: My wife and I found the restaurant through groupon. Paid for a prefixed 3 course fixed menu, great food. I got a filet mignon it was great. The service was excellent, our servers name was David. If you can get David I know your night will be wonderful! The restaurant will not rush you out like a lot of other seem to do, which made me very happy. My wife and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. :)

Thao Huynh: With the Groupon for the prix fixe dinner, this was a lovely experience for our anniversary. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The music choice was interesting though, not what I expected from a fancy restaurant; I thought there would be classical/jazz music but it was modern pop. The sauces for the filet mignon were an extra $6, which was not told by the server so we had no idea. Make sure to ask. Other than that, it was a lovely time.

Brine: what do users think?

Melanie Smith: Great Sunday brunch spot. Reservations are a good idea. We looked at Resy just before we left the house and there were plenty of tables so we didn’t reserve one. By the time we arrived at the restaurant it was full and we needed to wait about 90 mins to get a spot. The restaurant isn’t huge and it can fill quickly. We waited and it was worth it. We didn’t opt for the bottomless brunch, but maybe next time if we are feeling ourselves. Instead we opted for a dozen oysters, popcorn shrimp (which were really busy full size shrimp), biscuits, and oysters Rockefeller. The brunch cocktails were all solid. Service was good. We will be back.

Nick H.: Went to this place for happy hour with a few friends. I tried the raw and cooked oysters. Both were pretty good, I also ordered a rum punch which was tasty but strong. When I went it wasn’t really packed however the space was pretty tight and I found that the person I was sitting next to at the bar we kept bumping into each other because of how close the chairs were placed.

PancakesnChill (Katy): Wonderful place with great food. It’s a tight space, but all around fantastic dining. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with eye contact and a very friendly (and handsome) face. Once sat we ordered 12 “happy” raw oysters that were AMAZING. After the app, I had the shrimp po boy and my mom had the steamed mussels. Both dishes, while a little pricy, were delicious and fresh, you could tell. We ended up talking to the owner who also owns the restaurant next door. Very charismatic man and takes a lot of pride in his business, you get the sense of love and passion in his craft for cooking. He told us about an area in SW MD where he gets his oysters hand delivered by people he knows and sources directly from water to boat to kitchen. Food was lovely, staff was even more lovely.

Onyinyechi A: My wife took me to this spot and i must say everything was delicious. She had a variety of oysters ($1 off all day Tuesday). She loved all of them..I went for half pound fresh shrimp. Very good added a little hot sauce to the cocktail sauce and gave it some kick. I also had the Poe boy and she had muscles. Everything came out quickly. Great service. Clean establishment.

N T-K: Very fresh and seasoned seafood! My favorites are the clam chowder soup and the grilled jumbo shrimp! Also the service from the front to the back is amazing!

Tevin J: Best Brunch that I’ve had in a long time. Totally worth the money. All of the oyster options were great and the clam chowder was to die for. The service was the cherry on top of a fantastic experience.

December B: Food is absolutely delicious, would recommend the popcorn shrimp and you can’t go wrong with the oysters. The brunch deal they have is a must try. Service was awesome too.

David Stepp: Did the unlimited brunch. Decent bloodies. Champagne was a little sweet but okay. Glasses never empty. Oysters varied from amazing to okay. Oyster cleaning could have been better (some had lots of sand). Apps weren't my style, lots of butter, but if you like that type of buttery thing, you'll like it. Fair price for what you got.

Johnny “Johnny's good life tips” Even: Yummy Amazing fresh oysters Good ceviche, little small Popcorn shrimp was good Great spicy bloody merry

Keith Boyea: We had a lovely dinner here. Everything was perfectly prepared, and the cocktails were delicious. We started with the seafood tower. I had a lobster roll and my wife had the shrimp po boy. All were fantastic, as was the service. I can't wait to go back.

Legal Sea Foods: what do users think?

Randy Parnell: You want to sit at the bar or either the tables at the back of the bar, a much better view of the airport. They have beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows. This location keeps the high standards of the chain from Boston! Kayla was a professional waiter. The clam chowder is cooked to perfection, and Key Lime pie has the right amount of lime. Overall wonderful experience!

Brian Holm-Hansen: Our excellent waitress was very prompt, friendly and professional. The lump crabcake appetizer was delicous crab with no bread filling, and they kindly served it on split plates for us. The lobster roll was full of tasty lobster meat, and the clam chowder had a light & delightful broth with clams & potatoes. The fried whole-belly clams were delightful with a light, sweet taste. A glass of Allagash White draft beer perfectly rounded out the meal.

Dave Golden: Good food, great service and lively music. When we fly out of DCA, this is our go-to. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. If you want a hot dog with chili on it, go next door for half the price. To each their own.

Joshua Pinkerton: The burger was done how I requested it. I didn't want the fries so I substitute grill Asparagus which was absolutely perfect not to heavy on the seasoning. The wait staff was nice and keep my drink full but didn't dother me to much. It your ever in the Washington Airport I recommend giving them a try.

Majo Lares: Legal sea foods We order Caesar salad, fish tacos, clam chowder, and a lobster roll. The Caesar salad didn’t have a lot of dressing, but they gave us more upon request; the lobster roll is big and delicious; the fish tacos are good; and the clam chowder was good, but is was not hot enough. Overall, I did like the place and recommend it.

Dean Lusk: Wow. Had a long enough layover that I didn't have to rush. Cool thing is that if I'd needed to be in a hurry, this place would've been perfect. Server/bartender (I sat at the bar) was named Rich. Excellent. Attentive and personable. Gave me some recommendations and I wound up getting fried scallops with fries and asparagus. I prefer hand-cut fries, but for [presumably] frozen, slightly battered fries, they were good. Asparagus was perfect (seems to have been grilled over gas, but had a nice char and had the perfect amount of firmness -- not overdone but not crispy). As for the fried scallops, just perfect. Oil was obviously at ideal temp. No burned batter (as you sometimes experience with the oil is too hot) and they were cooked absolutely perfectly. Excellent breading, too. Finally, the food came out within five minutes or so of my ordering it. Tells me they've got good management and staff. Sure, they're at an airport and need to be fast-paced, but I'm used to experiencing service slow enough to make me fear I'll miss my flight. Summary: eat here when you're at DCA.

Lai Ki Tung: Food was not bad. Service? I’m not sure if there was much service. We had to get our server’s attention a couple of times for her to come over. I’m not sure if it’s because we are in a airport so we shouldn’t expect much service? She dropped off the food and never came back to ask about the food. She did tell us safe travel after we paid.

Private Sender: A great and consistent location for Legal Sea Foods. The good news is that you no longer have to exit the TSA security area to get to LSF at Reagan!

Silent Sought: Service was exceptional and the food was great. It is a little higher priced, but worth it. One of the best places to eat at the Reagan National.

Bayou Vixen: Delicious creamy & chunky hot clam chowder, fast and friendly service, clean environment and all servers including bartenders had on face masks.

The Point D.C.: what do users think?

Gregg McClain: Our meals were tasty & enjoyed pretty much by all. Seems the Chef is very basil forward in creating dishes which featured this herb...its even in the drinks! We would have wanted larger portions (for the $$) & ordered our sauces on the side. Although helpful, servers too varied in describing the same dish to us. Service was pleasant, not rushed attentiven, but not hovering & we like that. Our only snafu which the manager apologized for & with a round of drinks was the discovery of a foreign object in our bread bowl. No BIG DEAL but a concern nonetheless. We were told the menu changes every few months so we'll return knowing what we know & try them again.
Response: Thank you Gregg for the nice review. We hope you'll return soon.

Makeda Mcbride: The only 2 good comments I have are, the employees are very polite/helpful and the ambience is great. On my first visit I had the so called jerk chicken wings. The wings were just ok but by no means were they jerk. My second visit was for brunch. I was told they didn't have chicken & waffles at 12 noon for brunch so I order the shrimp and grits. The grits were lumpy and only came with 4 popcorn shrimp. The worst shrimp and grits I have ever had and hope to ever have. The prices don't match the quality of food. You're basically paying for the beautiful atmosphere and mediocre food. Oh the drinks are not strong and I don't drink regularly.

MO. B: Recently ate here. The staff was very accommodating we were actually late but they were able to move us to a 7:45 slot. They do have valet, I would recommend as the parking is hard they do have a garage but not sure how full it was as there was a game going on too. While we waited we got drinks outside. It was really cute and service was fairly fast. Once we were seated we ordered appetizers: tostadas, jerk wings, oysters, crab donuts, roasted Brussel sprouts, and calamari. Portion sizes are decent and made to share. I would recommend all except the calamari, it was over cooked and too much batter. I would note that the crab donuts were a hit and a table fav. I cannot eat shellfish but everyone loved it. We did express our dislike to our waitress Verta and she was able to take it off our bill. For dinner we ordered the hamburger, unagi sushi roll, spicy tuna sushi roll, tuna/salmon sashimi. All was good and recommend everything. For desert we ordered the banana split and the apple pie. I would definitely not recommend the banana split, it was too many textures and the plating was not appealing. Would recommend a warm/cooked banana and better plating. I would recommend the apple pie, it’s like an apple empanada with cinnamon and sugar on it with ice cream. Our service was great, Verta our waitress was very accommodating and answered all our questions regarding the menu. We will definitely be back once it warms up to sit outside.

Catherine McAdoo: AMAZING SERVICE, FOOD & GREAT LOCATION!!! Talk about wanting to take your partner on a nice date!! This spot is tucked away in the perfect location. Not a lot of traffic noise and away from the hustle and bustle of DC!
Response: Thanks so much for the kind review. We're so happy you enjoyed your time at The Point!

candice jackson: I wanted to take my friend out for dinner for her birthday, so we ended up at The Point D.C. The restaurant is not exactly a place that you would stumble upon, because it is located on a dead-end street, facing the water, so I am thankful that she discovered it. It was our first time there, so I wanted to try as much as possible. (I don't know why I act like I cannot revisit a place, but it's just my thing.) THE FOOD WAS STUPENDOUS. I could have said amazing, fantastic, incredible or "the bomb" but I want you to know just how pleasing the food was to my palate. We started with cocktails. I had the Point Punch. It was made with rum, cognac, Brandy, simple syrup, fresh lemon and a cherry. When I tell you that it gets your attention, it was like the glass said "looka here ... this here drink is for grown folks that appreciate the good stuff, so buckle your seat" ... LOL. My friend ordered a Reposadi Old Fashioned. She enjoyed it, but when it was time for round two, she kindly asked the waitress for The Point Punch. Now let's get to the appetizers. We had the Freshly Shucked Oysters, Fried Brussel Sprouts, Warm Crab Doughnuts and the Ivy City Smoked Fish Board. I am not an oyster person, so all that I can say is that my friend enjoyed each and every one of them. The Crab Doughnuts were very good, but the show stopper was the Ivy City Smoked Fish Board. The fish board consisted of pepper salmon, salmon candy, smoked rainbow trout, great lakes white fish salad, smoked salmon spread, tomato, red onion, chive cream cheese and bagel chips. At this point we were full, but how in the world was I going to come to a place like this and not get dinner. I am a foodie, so that wasn't even an option. For dinner, I had the Ora King Salmon. It was a bit spicy, but very delicious. The salmon sat atop charred baby boy choy, toasted almonds and tamarind curry. My friend ordered the Whole Branzino fish. You can either order it grilled or fried. I couldn't tell you which one she had because it was exactly as described ... whole. The fish still had it's face, with the mouth open. I am going to be honest with you, I haven't evolved to that level yet, but was told that it's the best way to prepare fish, with regard to flavor. The Branzino sat atop tzatziki, arugula salad and crispy falafel. (I apologize for the pics of our dinner. I didn't realize that the setting changed on my phone.) The whole experience was amazing. We ate outside by the water and was able to see the sunset. I recommend this place for any and everyone. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. The Point D.C. is located at 2100 2nd Street SW, Washington, DC 20024. It's best to make a reservation. I would hate for you to walk up and not be able to get a table. Check them out and I hope that you enjoy it as much as we did.

Dondré: This place was not it. The service was just not good. Our party was a little large so I was very patient but this was pretty bad. My boy had a bottle top left in his drink when they made it and brought it to the table. With the low light and it being red it looked like a strawberry so he didn't see it until later. I asked for water 3 times and didn't get it until I asked the 4th time and had already finished my appetizers and all my food. The food is ok the jerk wings should be labeled teriyaki. I do understand this is a new restaurant and it's working out the kinks but it'd take a lot to get me to come back or recommend the point.

Tahirah Khabir: I love this place! First-time visiting, and I will definitely be coming for another visit. The ambiance was amazing with views of the water as you dine. Food and drinks were superb!
Response: Thanks so much Tahira! We appreciate the stars and the time you took to write such a nice review.

Kat Tennermann: My two visiting guests and I had dinner at The Point last Saturday evening. It was a great experience all around. First, my reservation was confirmed via text. The restaurant then called me a couple of hours before to re-confirm which I think is a good idea since they get very busy weekend nights. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated immediately in the covered outdoor area (which we had requested). The breeze and overhead fans made for very comfortable dining on a hot night. The river view is lovely. Our server, Taylor, was friendly, efficient and attentive. All of the staff we encountered seemed committed to good customer service. We chose the Smoked Fish Board and the Duck Burnt Ends. Both were excellent! Ivy City never disappoints and the duck was crispy on the outside yet succulent on the inside. The only reason I can't give The Point five stars is because the oysters we had to start weren't shucked properly and didn't have much flavor. This is a new restaurant and given the overall experience, I'm sure they'll sharpen their oyster game soon.

Mia Speight: Nice upscale environment that you can arrive casual or classy in dress. The waiters and staff are focused on delivering fast service. The food I ordered was tasty....brussel sprouts and salmon. The decor was tastefully selected and comfortable to sit in. It boasts of an outside patio that has table seating and an al fresco bar. Minus 1 star because of the heat, no air conditioning at an event held on Sunday with reality stars from DC and the microphone system was a mess.

Esse Darden: First time...will not be the last! Now, my drink wasn't made very well but aside from that, everything was tasty and beyond & dessert was to die for. It was perfect to be able to sit around the big fire pit - just right for the time we arrived (there are more, smaller fire pits, plus a full bar outside). Impeccable, rare service by our waitress topped it off.
Response: It is definitely fire pit season! Thank you Esse. Please come again.
