Ted's Bulletin: what do users think?

Michelle Wiciak: The food was excellent, although the corned beef hash was extremely salty. I loved the smoked salmon rangoons, and thought it was the highlight of the meal. The biscuits and gravy were also stellar too, and that dish was HUGE. I enjoyed the banana cream pie, but thought the crust was too thick. The only downside was that the place was a bit too loud music-wise and our server seemed disinterested in serving us

Alex teufel: This was the most pleasant restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I am from out of town.First off, they asked if there was any food allergies before taking orders and bringing food, and as a person with a food allergy this was super cool, and something more restaurants should do! Tiffany was a phenomenal waitress, best server I’ve ever had. Polite, and thoughtful staff, short wait, GREAT food. 10/10 recommend!!

Deana Bushell: The Strawberry lemonade was delish...the fried pickles were the perfect starter for our meal. Also had the Chicken Parmesan with a side of Brussel Sprouts with blue cheese and bacon. More than I could eat and very tasty. Great local place with a wonderful atmosphere.

Noah Vaughan: Great place. I've gone by a few times but the wait was always too long (reservations highly encouraged!) so was excited to get in there today. Had the tamarind coated wings to start and they were amazing. Lunch was steak and a Cesar salad, both really good. My only complaint is that I was only a bite or two into my appetizer when my meal and salad arrived. I finished my wings, are my salad, and the steak and fries were cold by the time I got to them. Still good, but would have been even better warm.

Sarah: Delicious entree meals and really the main sell. 5 star for food, 3 star waitress. Will definitely be back for the entree meals because the cooks know what they are doing! I was very excited for the pop tarts but filling is only within the very center of them and it would have been ten times better taste-wise if it was served warm. Service was extremely slow and our waitress did not refill our water glasses and we had to wait an extremely long time to get our bill to leave. Food (excluding dessert) and environment great, but service may need some improvement especially since it was not very busy and we still waited a long time for waitress to come back to the table to ask about dessert and then again to get the bill (1.5 hours for two people to eat).

Charlotte Meindersma (Charlotte's Law): We had a Ted’s tart, which was really good. The dough is soft shortbread cookie like. Fresh iced tea was good. And we tried the loaded tots. Outside seating is really nice. Not all servers are as friendly as we’d hoped for, the girl who helped us most was very helpful and friendly.

Michelle Owen: Fabulous eatery situated in East Market Washington DC...fabulous interior featuring art deco decor. At the back dining g area are many booths, you can even watch old movies from an old projector. The service was terrific, the food excellent and the vibe friendly and happy. The menu was great, not too big, not too small. The coffee was excellent as was my Peach Bellini. It's true...the cinnamon rolls are "as big as ya head".

Amreen Shafiuddin: seemed like a small cafe from outside but they have a indoor seating place for brunch !!! looked like a upscale place.. people were posh there !!! the room had ample sunlight and it was all lit.. the tables were big enough for 6 people to sit comfortably. Our server was sweet and friendly.. people even clicked our photos without us asking for help !!! the food was amazing.. i would give it 15/10… we ordered 5 different dishes.. none disappointed… The big mark breakfast was super filling.. avocado toast was presented well and quite filling as to was on the lighter fair.. the stand out dishes were the Country fried chicken and Grilled salmon !!! omg amazing flavours !!! soooo yummm !! definitely coming back here for eating this again !!!

Cory Schwab: Delicious breakfast! And the homemade pop tart was a nice surprise. Coffee could have been a little stronger but still tasted good!

Scott T: Great general breakfast fare. I had eggs, bacon, gluten free toast, and hash browns. She had avocado toast. Both were excellent, but that's not why you are reading this review. We came here for the homemade pop tarts and they were excellent. They would have been better warm, but because of a lawsuit, that is no longer allowed. The table next to us got the massive cinnamon roll and we decided to get one as well. (Back story, I have a mild wheat allergy which often makes my stomach hurt when I eat wheat. I didn't learn of this until 2021 and had eaten wheat all my life and thought the pain was normal. So I generally avoid wheat, but on certain occasions, will eat it and deal.) The cinnamon roll was the star of the show. It was huge, 4 adults could easily share this. From the photo, you can see my plan... work to the middle. They serve the roll without the icing/sauce and pour it on at the table. Every bite was fabulous, but the middle, oh my the middle, was insanely good. It was so warm and soft, covered in tasty goodness, by far the best roll I've ever eaten. When in DC, take a detour to one of these restaurants locations and grab a pop tart and a cinnamon roll, you won't be disappointed.

Firefly: what do users think?

Sadhana G: Went to this beautiful place for brunch on a Sunday. The food was a whole new level of excitement! Presentation and quality of the food and the good ambience set the right tone for the weekend. But the only setback was the price. We had an Egg frittata, chicken and waffles and Egg Benedict-crab ( the chef special) and it cost us 70$. A great place to grab finger food in a cute setting !

Garner Marshall: Excellent breakfast spot. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking is pretty scarce around the area. Staff is excellent. Good is delicious. Music is diverse. Location is convenient. This is going to be one of my new favorite breakfast spots.

Steven Power: Wonderful location and the food is pretty good. The prices are very high. Brunch for two with no drinks besides one cup of black coffee was $50 for one order of French Toast, one Avocado Toast, and a side of fruit. The service was good overall, but one small thing annoyed me somewhat. We were there for Saturday brunch so I ordered a cup of black coffee right when the waitress first came over. The coffee, which they charged $5 for, finally came a minute before our food. I drank it quickly, thinking that for $5 for a tiny cup, a refill would be in order. No such luck. I don't know if asking for a refill would have taken another 20 minutes and cost another $5, but at that point in the meal, I didn't bother. Overall, a solid 5-stars. The location and ambiance outside are really great.

Mariia Sarlayan: Wonderful food, amazing service, beautiful interior, pleasant vibe. A bit pricey for brunch but worth it. I wish more tables outside had umbrellas for shades but even then the experience was memorable.
Response: Mariia, We are definitely wowwed by your amazing review and grateful for your comments. I hope we'll see you again soon, for another memorable experience! Please be safe and well until then. Sincerely, Anastasiia Firefly General Manager

Kim S: The food, service, and ambiance were excellent! My only disappointment was that they weren't open for dinner Sundays because we were looking forward to going back.

Linden Yee: Solid brunch, overall recommend. The eggs on the benedict were pretty undercooked but the flavors were good, and the chicken and waffles were really well seasoned. Service was pretty slow, and the staff seemed to be up against a lot. While the waiter was great, they appeared to be the only one working the entire restaurant.

Khadija Khan: The restaurant has changed a lot since the last time I was here! Really friendly staff and nice ambiance! My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly French toast with the jalapeño honey! It’s an Interesting combo but I really liked it. Our server recommended a really yummy mocktail! The food was a little pricey so I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again any time soon, but the dishes were innovative and delicious.
Response: Khadija, Thank you for the great review and the photos you shared from your recent visit at Firefly. Love to hear the our food and service left a great impression. I do hope you'll come abck again soon. Warmest Regards, Anastasiia, General Manager, Firefly

idcwhatcoloritis: This had to be an off night cause the place was interesting. The old arcade games were cool and our waitress did her best with a terrible situation. Two of our three meals were barely warm at best and cold at worst. The other was basically frozen salmon from a grocery store on what looked like Couscous but was actually rice some how. They nuked our food in the microwave and brought it back out. The vegan burger both smelled and tasted like fish. Completely inedible. All in all, the food was terrible all around. The only plus to this experience was the owner who took both meals off our bill and bought us a round of shots to make up for it after there POS system went down. We saw at least 10 plates go back to the kitchen while we were there. I don’t think this is normal cause most of the people there seemed like regulars and were super confused by there food. I think it was an off night but I don’t think any of my group will be returning.
Response: Greetings, Thank you for your feedback I just would like to double check, is this review for Firefly Restaurant located at 1310 New Hampshire Ave NW Washington DC. We don’t have old arcade games at our restaurant. Thank you Anastasiia Hehelska Restaurant GM

Lisa Mayberry: Cute little place for brunch out of the way in a hotel down New Hampshire Street. Outside patio seating is nice for a cool day with the umbrella up.
Response: Lisa, Thank you for your recent visit to Firefly and the excellent review. We could not agree more, the Terrace is a great place to relax, people watch and enjoy one (or two) of our amazing cocktails. Please come back soon! Sincerely, Anastasiia Firefly General Manager

S P: Everything about this restaurant Amazing and I mean everything! I went once and I can't stop going back I tell everyone to go best chicken and waffles I have ever had! Drink and beautiful and delicious

Pinstripes: what do users think?

Raja Haider Hussain: Went for dinner with family this evening. This location is perfect for a weekend drinks, lunch and dinner. One of the best spots near Georgetown waterfront. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and both options offer a lively ambiance. The staff is very attentive , efficient and courteous. They have carefully selected menu and the food we ordered was served fresh and the quality was above par. Their Calamari, Wings, Pizza, Ceasar Salad, Lasagna and chicken sandwiches were really good. However the grilled chicken with Caesar salad was very dry and not that great. We were also offered dessert on the house ( Brownie and ice cream) which was delicious. Over all a nice hangout spot and highly recommended for a casual friendly outing with good food and surroundings.

Benjamin W.: Went here for bowling. Reserving a lane means a server will periodically come by and take food + drink orders. The only thing is their happy hour menu isn't valid while bowling. I'm already spending money to bowl, why can't I get some cheap beer and snacks. Food and drinks were good and staff was responsive. Bowling was fun, so I'd go back. Maybe offer bowling only food and drink specials and clearly state where the happy hour menu is valid up front. Overall solid experience.
Response: Dear Benjamin, Thank you for taking the time to write a review and feedback! We are so glad you had a wonderful time bowling at Pinstripes. Hope to see you again soon!

Khoi Nguyen: Great place for happy hour. I've dined here multiple times. Stopped by on a busy Sunday. My family and I ate some truffle fries, flat breads and wings. The wings are a must order especially the spicy calabrese. Prices are reasonable and on Sunday HH is between 6-10 pm. The drinks weren't bad either. You can get mixed cocktails for around $6. Fun place to celebrate something or enjoy some happy hour food and drinks. Service is always at a high-level

Mark Orebiyi: My project team had out quarterly engagement activity at Pinstripes recently. We had a slot from 4-6pm. They give you a 15min grace period which is nice. We started bowling and 30 minutes in our lane started acting up. The lane mechanic came to fix it while me and my team ordered food. The food is fantastic. From the wings to the pizza we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our lane was never fixed. After an hour from when it stopped working we were offer to go play Bocce Ball for 30min prior to use leaving. The Manager (Leo) was very accommodating and cover our bowling cost as we well as you bocce ball game. Although they had issues the food was amazing and they took good care of us.

Fredrik Otter: Generous portions and innovative kitchen. Happy Hour prices are fantastic and the location fabulous. Slow service, but when the weather is nice that is only a plus!

Stephen Balza: Just enjoyed a nice meal outside along the C&O Canal on a stunning July evening. Our server was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food portions (Baked Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich) were on the small side, but tasty and moderately priced. It’s a unique place in a great location (Wisconsin Ave a couple blocks from M St and a couple blocks from the Waterfront). We didn’t try the bocce or bowling but it was full of folks who were enjoying it.
Response: Dear Stephen, Thank you for the five star review. We are thrilled you enjoyed our delicious selection of dishes on our patio. We are glad you enjoyed our Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

Judy Gordon: I couldn’t be more impressed with this experience in DC. From the minute I walked in with my 2 young grandsons until we left I found the staff to be professional and caring. They certainly care about cleanliness and sanitizing which I appreciated. The food was just delicious- we shared a pizza and scrumptious warm brownie with ice cream for dessert. Do not miss it. The boys loved having the bumper rails automatically pop up when they took their turn. They also loved being able to create various scoring games using animated characters. It was so kid friendly. I felt that the each employee went out of his/ her way to make our experience a terrific one. There’s no other reason to go to any other bowling facility to have a good time.

Bri M: It was my first time bowling at Pinstripes. We had a great time. I will definitely return. The food was awesome and the staff very friendly and attentive. Found that the music was a little loud at times but overall it was a great experience. Parking is underneath and accessible off of Wisconsin Avenue which is very convenient if you are not one to look for street parking. Highly recommend if getting together with family and friends interested in experiencing an upscale bowling activity.
Response: Dear Bri, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so glad you enjoyed the food, service and bowling! We hope to see you again soon!

Lucie Lautenschlager: Waiter were very kind they know how to do their job. I loved the food. All of it the desert especially I loves going bowling their and from being somewhere not luxurious then this is taking it 2 steps up and I'm in love with this place. I'd recommend to stop and dine in for good food. Have to come again when I visit again. The price and flavor of the food is perfect.
Response: Dear Lucie, Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with fun bowling, delicious food and service! We are so glad you enjoyed the desert as well! We cannot wait to see you at Pinstripes again soon!

Thomas Weber (halifax9): Very good bloody Marys. Not overly done. Just right. The lobster and egg bruschetta is delicious. Although I would say the bread is unnecessary. Service started slow but got better. A very nice place. Oh by the way, they have bowling and bocce too!
Response: Dear Thomas, Thank you for the feedback. We are glad you had an amazing experience and enjoyed our Lobster & Egg Bruschetta and Bloody Mary. We hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

Founding Farmers DC: what do users think?

Erica Anstey: We had a fabulous experience here. It's a very fun atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had the crazy corn chicken salad and it might be my most favorite salad ever. My husband had the southwest chicken salad and my daughter had the chicken and waffles. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waitress, Camilla, was fantastic and has a great personality. Everyone working there seemed like they were having a good time.
Response: Thank you so much for your review, Erica! I am glad that you and your family enjoyed their dining experience. Please dine with us again! -Xenia

Tyler Davis: Quality food and drinks! Stopped by while out and about visiting DC with the family. Short walk from several metro stations. Reserved a table during lunchtime the morning we went and was seated minutes after we showed up. Staff was attentive and my drink was never empty. Reasonable prices for the quality food you get considering the location and love the bar menu. Was recommended this place by several people and it was quickly apparent why. Will definitely visit again next time we are in DC!
Response: Awesome! Thank you so much! -Jessica

Konstantinos Rizakos: We were seated promptly at our reservation time. The hosts and servers were polite and effective, albeit the food and drinks took a while to come out. Everything was very very tasty. The meat in particular. Try the prime rib, and the pork chops - but you may want to ask that they cook less than you usually like because ours were slightly over cooked.
Response: Thank you so much for the glowing review! Please come back soon! -Jessica

Kimberly Giang: Omg so yummy. Visited DC for the first time and found this restaurant for breakfast. It definitely did not disappoint! It was so yummy we came back the next morning. We reserved a table online and good thing we did because it gets crowded fast. Our table was ready when we arrived and all of the staff was very friendly. Food came out fast. The French toast was so unique and tasted amazing. I loved the Eggs Benedict and how crispy the hash browns were! Definitely would come back!
Response: Thank you so much for the glowing review!! So glad you enjoyed your first dining experience with us! We look forward to seeing you again soon! -Jessica

Francess Kargbo: I've gone to Founding Farmers for brunch previously, but I'm glad to say I prefer their supper menu. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The green beans were fresh, and I substituted mashed potatoes for the honey scotch carrots as the side. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I definitely suggest this restaurant as a dinner option; you will like it.

WooDo Jedi: Good service! Our server was outstanding. (Front hostess and host didn’t make us feel welcome though - we felt like cattle coming through the door). Our orders came our timely and had that flavor profile that spoke of home. We would definitely return here!
Response: Though the welcome was not warm, we are thrilled you enjoyed the meal and service! We look forward to your next visit and giving you a great experience from start to finish! -Tiffany

Peter Shaw: Great food and coffee, albeit slightly over priced. The beignets were very very good. Personally don't think the egg scramble was worth ordering. Service was good but the food came out rather slowly. Waited a good 45 min for food to come out.
Response: Hi, Peter. I am very sorry you waited so long for your breakfast order. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you again! :) -Kerry

Frankie Painter: This is our 3rd time here and WOW, everything we’ve ever ordered has been amazing! We always start with the honey cornbread and this time I got Scallops Meunière with butternut squash risotto and my husband got catfish with grits and green beans. My scallops were cooked to perfection - they cut like butter. The atmosphere here is warm and cozy but lively, although there were way less people this time because of social distancing restrictions. Our waiter was super! We had to show an ID and proof of vaccination. Highly, highly recommend!!
Response: Thank you so much for the amazing review, Frankie! We are so thrilled to read that you and your husband enjoyed your visit with us! We aim to give you a great experience on your 4th visit also! Thank you so much for dining with us! -Najjah :)

Ying Liang: Friend took me here for dinner when I visited DC. We went on a late weekday evening. Definitely call for reservations ahead of time because it was incredibly crowded. I’m not sure how long we would’ve had to wait if we didn’t plan for that. Our waitress was very nice, food took a while, probably because it was so busy! So plan some time to catch up and relax. It was sort of dark and loud but the restaurant still had nice ambiance. I got the chicken and waffles… and oh my goodness, it was the best fried chicken and the best waffles I’ve ever had. So freaking good. The green beans were crunchy/fresh and the mac and cheese was decent. Not sure what sauce it came with but I was enjoying it! I would probably try to get here for early brunch next time instead. Definitely recommend you stop by if you get the chance.
Response: Thank you so much for the glowing review. Please come back soon! -Jessica

Goose Prevot: Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking over towards the Lincoln Memorial. The atmosphere was awesome. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that the craft cocktail spirits were distilled by the restaurant. We were able to purchase a bottle to take home as well. The food was very tasty. It is a definite try if you are around the area.
Response: Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed everything. Please come back soon!- Amber

Logan Tavern: what do users think?

Nomad USA: Super chill neighborhood tavern. The host there is generally pretentious and cold. I’ve had this issue getting seated at the LT in the past. Their hosts is is far from friendly as is imaginable. Even with the place completely empty, getting a booth probably requires a some type of cash payoff. The servers are super chill and helpful. Menu is great. Wide variety of appetizers and entrees. I had the BBQ Korean wings and the LT burger with truffle fries. The LT burger was just a buck more, truffle fries 2 bucks more, all super tasty and perfect medium rare. They have little alcove by the bar, great for people watching, and the requisite long bar for a casual lunch or dinner. Bathroom. 6/10 for cleanliness.

Kiffa Shirley: Wanted to try something new and made our way to Logan Tavern over the weekend. We ordered the empanada appetizer, and the figgy burger with truffle and B.A.B Grilled Cheese. Everything was delicious but I may have overdone my taste buds with the truffle. They were tasty fries but next time I will just get to enjoy the burger with regular fries. Can't wait to return.

Matthew Cook: Very good food. Plenty of menu variety so everyone should be able to find something. Including some decent vegetarian dishes. Good cocktail and beer selection. Extremely friendly staff and very efficient.

Hong Hanh Dinh: Amazing service here. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, giving us all the best recommendations and attentive to our needs. The food was amazing. I loved the steak and eggs, it wasn't an aggressive portion but the right sized to be full and comfortable without the discomfort and regret afterwards that you've over eaten. The bloody Marys were awesome! They offer different kinds of bloody Marys and you can choose which topping you'd like. There is also a huge boot sized bloody Mary but i went for an easy individual size. The dessert options are so great. I love the Mango key lime pie which I think is the restaurant favorite. Would come back again and again!

Jay Vizcarra: LGBTQ+ friendly with great eats! I had one of the famous cheeseburgers on the menu which was super tasty. Usually hopping with great people eating there. Centrally located with a pleasant neighborhood walk surrounded by other places to eat in the area.

Darnice Ward: Logan Tavern was a great choice for an after graduation celebration. None of us had ever been to Logan Tavern as we are from out of state. In our party of 14 only 2 of our party members were from the area, and they had never been either. The did not have a table on Open Table to seat all of us so I reserved several tables and hoped they could seat us near one another. I called and talked to someone who said they would and they OVER delivered and seated us together!!! Our food was delicious and each person was happy with their selection. Although the menu is not extensive it has something for everyone. We had everything from wings, burgers, dip, salad and seafood pasta. Drinks were tasty and the alcohol in them was of average amount. Our waiter. He got every order correct and was consistent with checking on us. He brought found out in a timely fashion and waited for me because I was sitting between both tables. He seemed to have another big party as well. However, the only thing is that he seemed slightly annoyed NOT rude just bothered. We would definitely return again if back in the area. Right now it is tough to service the public so I understand our waiter may have been overwhelmed, please be kind to our service workers.

John G: Logan Tavern, an old favorite over the years, haven’t frequented there as much as I used to. However, I’ve stopped in recently for the greatest drinks made by bartender John. Logan has a great fried chicken classic, with wonderful homemade mashed potatoes and generally Swiss chard… I prefer the asparagus, though, so make sure you ask if you want something different. Chipotle chicken sandwich is wonderful as well, and more recently, I have fallen in love with the pulled pork barbecue sandwich, minus the bun… and a couple extra pickle slices! Bartender John is fantastic at getting your order right, your food tasty, even while I subtract a few calories with a few changes! Thanks John for keeping Logan, local, lovely, and (de)licious!

Patty Cannon: Excellent food & service! The chef came out to meet us and to be certain we were happy! Such a wonderful adventure for us! A large group of 10 and there were several couples enjoying dinner around us...as well as bar seating. Excellent choice for dinner!

courtney mims: Nice place but parking can be a challenge. My husband loved the burger and my sister enjoyed the asparagus salad. The garlic and parmesan fries are yummy but I wasn't a fan of the Buffalo shrimp. It was swimming in sauce and too rich with the blue cheese added. The drinks are good and we love that it is pet-friendly.

Michele R McConnell: We had a great experience. I have a food sensitivity / allergies and they were very accommodating. Aubry was a fabulous server and kept up with our drinks and food. The chef came out and discussed food options for myself and delivered!

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.

Tiberiu Hrihorciuc: Loved the experience! Tasted a dozen oysters and each one was more delicious than the other. Wine is very fairly priced. Saw it more expensive in some New York wine discount stores. The fish was such a huge portion when they split it in two plates we told them that we did not order 2 plates but to our surprise that was a full plate. If you get a chance to go to happy hours for oysters don't hesitate!
Response: Thank you, Tiberiu!

Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…

Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.

Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.
Response: Suzi, Thank you for visiting Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience and we hope to have you back again the next time you're in town.

Mary H: What a DC institution. I've been here numerous times taking "out of town" guests but always failed to write a review... This place is busy and crowded... so make a reservation. Service is attentive and friendly. Try to get a seat in the atrium, much nicer and brighter. *turkey club-generous portions of turkey. It was good and the fries were nice and hot. *salad greens- tasty, I wanted something light. *calamari-nice and crispy. They have a good selection on their menu, we just weren't that hungry. It's kinda the place to go when you visit DC.
Response: Thank you, Mary!

Amy Workman: If you're worried that this a nice place turned tourist trap that cuts corners, worry not. We had a fantastic experience and the food was superb. Our server was in his 9th year here and I wished he could've just sat and talked with us all night. They were wonderfully accommodating and welcoming of our kids, which you definitely can't say about a lot of places. Some places know that if the kids are happy the parents are more than happy to get another round and more dishes. And then when we're sans-kids someday, we'll definitely be back to sit at one of the beautiful bars. We had the walrus raw bar which was perfect for us never having had raw oysters. They did a little of each kind they had that night and I had no idea oysters could taste so different. We had the mussels, kids mac and cheese, and sausage pasta dish. The pasta was house made and the sauce creamy and spicy. So good. After dinner we walked it off around the White House. I've spent much more at restaurants and not gotten half as much food or nearly as good as service, so even though it was our most expensive meal in DC it was also our best value. Definitely a must-go in DC.

Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.

Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍
Response: Jelena, Thank you for stopping by Old Ebbitt Grill and leaving a great review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience and look forward to having you back again soon!

Matthew Hanna: This was a pretty cool place to eat. It is so old but very nice inside. Lots of preserved animals I didn't expect to see like sea turtles, walrus and more. The food was great and I really liked the drinks. You can still visit and get a really good burger and fries for like $18 or you can go all out and pay $100+ for a super delicious entree. Either way the alcohol is good.

Busboys and Poets: what do users think?

Tina Marbury: My group is visiting from Ohio for a conference. The restaurant is pleasingly eclectic in its decor. The atmosphere was quaint. The server was pleasant and smile with authenticity as she assisted the three of us. The food was served hot and was pleasing plated. The taste of the good was amazing. The seasoning of the catfish, greens and cheddar and jalapeño grits was perfect. I could eat here every day.

Valerie Mostyn: I absolutely loved it here! I loved how the staff were just having a good time and jamming out to music while working. The girl behind the bar was living her best life with the music. The whole place has a fantastic vibe and great food. We came for brunch but I'm sure dinner is just as great!

Beverlyn Salva: Boyfriend and I were looking for breakfast to eat and we choose to go here. Very unique atmosphere. Love how they incorporated the bookstore & dinning together. Although the service we got was not what we expected. We order our drinks then later ordered our entrées. We get our food and both of our food was lukewarm and my fries was COLD (didn’t eat it). In addition, our server never checked on how we are doing and gave us what we requested which was just sugar for our coffee. Manager was walking around doing table touches and we never got touched. Our server then asked “how was everything” after we put our plate aside and decided enough is enough. Maybe if we come back it’ll be different but being our FIRST time eating there, we won’t come back. So if you’re looking for good food with good service this won’t be it or maybe it’ll be different. Who knows.

c clark: This was a very cool spot. I really liked the environment and the had great music, classic hip-hop and r and b. Great service and great food. I will definitely be going back here next time I'm in DC

Matt K: We got the Smoked Dalmon Benedict and Sweet Potato Pancakes. Overall this was a great breakfast and was memorable. I wish I could do it slightly differently. I'd like to add a little bit of red onion and sea salt or everything bagel seasonings to the Benedict. Other than that, very nice.

Erika L Zamora: Loved this place! 1st time in DC and heard this was a great place to eat and shop for books. They were right! Staff was friendly and the energy was Perfect. I had the cheeseburger and some nachos- both were delicious. I tried the cauliflower bites and was pleasantly surprised! I asked our waitress what drink she recommended since I liked sweet drinks. She brought over a DC water and I ended up having 3. Bought some postcards, stickers, a jigsaw puzzle and a book. Would definitely visit again!

Abigail Morales: The ambience is what you'll visit this location for. An unassuming book store with inspiring quotes and art of historic figures. The food is okay for what I felt was overpriced breakfast/lunch. We asked for a fried chicken sandwich the online menu didn't mention it being spicy but it was. The Cobb salad chicken tasted and looked like chicken that is pre-prepared and just waiting to be thrown on the salad. I had the wild rice soup and it came out room temperature and was a little salty. The kids grilled cheese was great according to my daughter. Our server Eunice only stopped by to refill water and drop the check. I would've expected something a little friendlier from a place giving such warm bookstore cafe vibes.

Destinee Douglas: This was a really nice place ! As you wait too can check out their book store . Had so many different wonderful and colorful books. We sat at the bar so we wouldn’t have to wait . We had ebony as our waitress. She was very sweet . As you can see in the photos there are two pics of soup. Norge the same ( wild rice vegetable soup) but one is a cup and one is a bowl! If you get the bowl you’ll likely be full before you even get your entree. But the soup was delicious and flavorful ! I definitely recommend that. Then I ordered the shrimp and grits ! Absolutely delicious. & I love how they has asparagus in it . Never had shrimp and grits with that in it. The shrimp were big & it was a nice portion . My friend got the chicken and shrimp pasta . It was kind of spicy but good as well! We both ordered their orange Juice too and you definitely want to because it’s really fresh. It gets made right in front of your eyes with a machine they have at the bar . Literally squeezes the oranges 😆 My cousin ordered a burger . Didn’t get a chance to take a pic but it was good . Last but not least we topped it off with their desert . A banana pudding I think with ice cream. It was good 😩 we were stuffed ! Lol

Peter Schwarzenbach: Good spot for a cozy breakfast. Prices are a bit steeper than expected but friendly wait staff and prompt courteous attention was always offered. My eggs where a tad overcooked but by no means bad. Would recommend for a unique and tasty experience

Aditi Rajvanshi: This place has amazing fresh food available at an affordable price. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well! Would definitely recommend if you love flavorful breakfast.

Sequoia DC: what do users think?

Ashley Emtcheu: The food is delicious, the place is decorated beautiful with Christmas decorations besides its classy and upscale look. Wasn't able to try a drink I was recommended to try by the server but overall great experience. Place is located in a great location which is great if your wanting to get great photos with friends/family. Parking Garage is 2 minutes away in walking distance to this restaurant which is very convenient. 👍🏾

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

Renee McCracken: Mother's Day Brunch at Sequoia has now become our new tradition. The food was excellently prepared and the service was outstanding. The entertainment was a great addition to our experience. I did have one hiccup during our time there but it was promptly handled and it was like it never happened. I love Sequoia and will definitely recommend and return.

Vy H.: Came here recently Saturday night for a private holiday event—had a great time! The restaurant is huge and beautifully decorated to fit the Christmas/Holiday theme. We had open bar—they have a huge selection of liquor! Food was decent—the hors d'oeuvres were delicious, the main dishes were just okay. Staff are all pretty friendly. There’s a coat check room downstairs when you enter, and an elevator if you don’t want to walk up all the stairs.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Shake Shack: what do users think?

Katie d: I came two days ago and them burgers were hitting so good & the workers were so nice and patient. I just seen them other reviews like no this is a 5 star experience I had, like how can milkshake even be melted? Yes I’m throwing shade. These workers need a raise idc!! They working their a$$ off !!!!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It always makes us happy to hear feedback like yours!

Carson Peck: Solid little fast food joint. Burgers seem very legit and fries are solid. Fast food done properly.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It always makes us happy to hear feedback like yours!

Eric Cunningham: I am not typically one to write bad reviews, but I am thinking that management would want to know about this experience. We were in from out of town and I was excited to try Shake Shack for the first time. We just started getting locations in my city and I have heard it is excellent. We went to this location late in the evening on 4/16. The computers for ordering were left on all the way up until close and this was the source of the problem. Workers began closing early and became verbally frustrated with the customers still waiting on their food. An employee started mopping the floors without wringing it out, leaving large amounts of standing water on the floor without wet floor signs. Moving around was very difficult. The same employee said the bathroom was closed and another overheard and said it was fine. When we received our food, my significant other checked our bag because we overheard other customers getting frustrated they were being told various items were “out” after the receipt was paid and they had waited on the food. It was clear the employees had shut down various equipment and had no interest in turning anything back on. The same was with our order so she said something. The employee quickly snapped at her and began speaking very disrespectfully. Upon hearing this another customer who was also spoken to in appropriately stood up for my significant other and things spiraled from there. The verbal altercation turned into physical and it appeared a brawl was beginning. I saw at least one punch thrown and we quickly exited the restaurant to safety. All in all this was a very poor representation of the Shake Shack chain, and a very bad first experience for us.
Response: Thank you so much for your feedback. This is concerning and we’d like to investigate this further. Could you email us at feedback@shakeshack.com so that we can grab your details? Thanks, Jake

James Nelson: Burgers are good, chicken bites where soaked in oil, fries would have been good but not enough cheese and there was not enough bacon on them. Second fries had seasoning piled on top. Could have been done much better and it was not busy at that time
Response: James, Thank you for your feedback. It's disappointing to read that your meal wasn't up to our standards. We can do better than what you've experienced, so we'd love to invite you back to the Shack. Could you email us your review at share@shakeshack.com so we can get in touch? Thank you again, The Shake Shack Team

SkizzySami 2: I really enjoyed theses burgers ! They were freshly made and there were fast . This was the first place that had amazing customer service and actually got my order right ! I will definitely be coming back soon !
Response: We appreciate the positive vibes! Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.

Alok Sinha: Came here a few times during my visit to Washington D.C. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was really good. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. Would recommend coming here if you are in the area.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It always makes us happy to hear feedback like yours!

Get like me Reed: 1st time there. I got the shroom cheeseburger with the lettuce wrap, instead of bun. Very good, I'm not vegetarian but I could have eaten the shroom without the burger, because that was delicious.

Ryan Smith: I ordered cheese fries, a bacon cheeseburger, and a milkshake, and there wasn’t a single thing right with my whole order. Gave me just cheese and no fries, no bacon on the burger, and a melted milkshake with no straw. I understand one mistake, but this is ridiculous. Pay a fair wage and hire good workers.
Response: Ryan, Thanks so much for your feedback. I’m so sorry about the recent experience you had at our Shack. We work hard to make sure each order is correct, and we are sorry this wasn't the case this time for you. We can do better than what you've experienced, so we'd love to invite you back to the Shack. Could you email us your review at share@shakeshack.com so we can get in touch? Thank you again, The Shake Shack Team

Tracey Mangham: In the heart of DC its a popular place. Busy as expected so the wait was a few minutes longer than usual. Food is good and seating was plentiful.
Response: It always makes us happy to hear feedback like yours! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

Jade: horrible customer service. lazy workers. always on the phone. they act like they don’t wanna be there. I placed an order the girl at the front asked me my name. waited 20 mins. my food is as just sitting there. what’s the point of asking for names if you’re not going to call. won’t be coming back.
Response: Jade, Thanks so much for your feedback. We pride ourselves on our hospitality and work hard to provide a seamless pickup experience, so this is disappointing. We can do better than what you've experienced, so we'd love to invite you back to the Shack. Could you email us your review at share@shakeshack.com so we can get in touch? Lucian Jessel: Brunch was absolutely amazing, and the patio seating was gorgeous! All of the servers were incredibly friendly and helpful. I also absolutely love that gluten free options not only exist, but also are clearly labeled. The gluten free brownie sundae was especially amazing - the texture and flavor were spot on. Pricing is also excellent - it was much cheaper than I expected, especially in regards to the quality/quantity of food and the fact that it's in DC. 10/10, would recommend!

Michelle Diane: Yummy brunch spot with a great outdoor dining set up- it was spacious and had heating lamps. Service was amazing and food was bomb. FYI, the portions are big and certainly shareable (especially the breakfast pizza!) we weren't able to finish it all!

Jo Kim: My Manager set up a Holiday team gathering for a mixology class here. We started out w a rose and made 3 drinks w tastings in between. It was very informational and the timing between cocktails were spot on. The instructor was fantastic and very generous on the liquor. I personally wasn’t a fan on the drink with Chartreuse but the history she told us, behind the liquor was fun/interesting to learn. The food in between were delicious that we stayed for full plates of food after. Service was spot on and food were great.

abdiel blas: Very relaxing atmosphere with open minded people. Great spot for breakfast! Staff were a little busy because it was a packed house but did their best to serve us in a timely manner. Would recommend!

Tiffany W: I really liked my fish and mashed potatoes. My friend ate the porkchop and did not like it. I also ate a piece and I did not like it either. I think the pork chop was really big but not cooked through enough for our liking. The server was cool, drinks were good (bloody mary & peach old fashion)and the atmosphere was nice. I would come back for happy hour.

Fei stetzwa: Marcus, our server: punctual, courteous, charming, and handsome. For that reason alone we'd return. The food and drinks were tasty, well presented and affordable.

Scotty Leach: One of my favorite affordable breakfast spots near Logan Circle. Reliable, fast, and the food is wonderful. I generally order the Huevos rancheros and a mocha to go with it, which fills me up and brings me joy. The outdoor seating is really nice too - I went on a first date here and being outdoors on a warm weekday morning made it feel more intimate somehow. Anyway - the place is usually packed and yet the food still comes quick. Those cooks are amazing. Bottom line: Highly recommended.

Jorden Van Etten: Went here for brunch on my birthday. Had the bottomless mimosas and pancakes. Such a great experience. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed this place so much. The food was so great and i got a free banana split sundae for my bday

Kevin Livingston: Pork belly appetizer was good. Fish and chips were excellent! I will ask that our server please forgive me, because I do not remember his name, but he was very nice and seemed very pleased to take our order. Thank so much, sir. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. Most important; clean restroom 🚻.

Linden Yee: This place is awesome! The happy hour is so reasonably priced with $5 rail spirits and cheap appetizers. I really liked the chicken lettuce wraps. Breakfast has also been solid too. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the staff is always really friendly.

Comet Ping Pong: what do users think?

Gabe Ghanadan: We love Comet Ping Pong, have been going for many years. Pizza is outstanding and ping pong is fun. I recommend their white pizzas. Altogether it’s a great establishment. There is a long wait for food and it isn’t uncommon for them to be out of one or two ingredients or certain drinks (although I should mention, we usually go on busy nights like Fridays). However, you will still have a great time and we will be back. They also have outdoor seating with fireplace and heating. It is quite warm by the fire but bring a jacket just in case.

Justin Carroll: So I did come here because of the infamy this place got from the Pizza Gate conspiracy and to prove a point that it's actually a pretty nice place and it got all this negative attention because Q followers decided to make this place the center of a made up controversy. Go outside, touch grass, use your eyes, and most importantly, eat pizza. Also the garlic knots are good.

Laurence Jackson: Delicious, exciting,.diverse! -Free, vegetarian and carnivore ate happily together. If we were not so wiped out from monument and museum walking, we would have taken advantage of the opportunity to play ping pong until our pizza was ready. Beautiful wood fire pizza oven!

Nick Pascale: Extremely inviting atmosphere with great staff who seem to prioritize an enriched experience for patrons. Pizza is amazing! The decor is super vibey which makes for a great spot for a date

Naly Lee Velasco: Pizza was decent. Garlic knots weren't that great, they were hard and barely any marinara sauce to go with it. Customer service was at least good.

H D: Some of the best pizza in DC that is on the pricier side—but it’s worth it. Excellent service and wine also. And a great atmosphere.

Tim Suddreth: A Great place to relax with excellent food and service. My family and I ate here while on vacation. The weather in DC is perfect for the outside seating. We started with the Garlic Knots and then three types of pizza and a Greek Salad!

Tom Moore: Although the food is responsibly sourced and of good quality, our group of 10 was not really impressed with the pizzas. Their menu items are interesting, but not well executed. However, they get 4 stars because they have soul....and ping pong tables in the back. We got to play a few games and it makes for a fun, relaxing night. We felt comfortable hanging there for a while after we had finished our food. Good selection of beers too.

William Archer: We hosted a private event at comet ping pong and were extremely satisfied in every way. First off, their decorations are on point. The whole space evokes a classy ping pong clubhouse. Additionally the service and the food were not top notch. We experienced some slight issues getting the pizza out quickly and as an apology our whole party (of 40+) got dessert. We'll be back for sure.

K Gold: At night, nice attractive cosmic neon sign welcomes you to the place that has pizza and ping-pong! I don't know why upon entering there was a water workstation with an open container of ice and a portable "igloo" for the server to set you up with a tall wine color hard plastic cup of water, no straw- but maybe they forgot. In this era of COVID it just didn't seem kosher to have ice literally open and within arms reach like that. Tables are fixed to the floor and are designed like cute ping-pong tables, though I doubt you could really play. But have no fear, the official ping pong tables are in the back: two, navy blue competition tables. We were seated and given instructions to download an app to order, or they could just take our order. I guess ordering online keeps them from lingering at your table, since order drop-offs take about 5 seconds or so. We ordered the smokey pizza- make sense since they'reusing a real wood fired oven. Pizzas are one size, which you may consider to be a little smaller than medium at your average pizza joint. The dough was a bit chewy and thick. They got the order wrong somehow, so the second pie seemed to show even less effort to thin out the crust. The smokey flavor was nice. We were not a fan of the red sauce. It seemed very thin, a bit sweet, and honestly to me, just not freshly made. Maybe it's from a can or bag? Can't speak to the others items on the menu, but they serve more than pizza, and some items that floated past our table looked rather tasty. We chose this place because it was featured on DDD. It's an oddly attractive place with a funky vibe: intentionally unfinished walls speckled with old paint jobs of different colors, obvious evidence of where old fixtures once lived, inconsistencies in the wall, where you'd usually sand down- I'm sure it looks epic on camera! There's also a huge projector screen hanging from ceiling against wall where you first enter. No volume, but it seemed to be playing Anime? Overall, the food was OK,maybe they put a little more love in the food they produced, when Guy Fieri visited. So, if you're looking for decent pizza with thick crust or a variety of smoked veggies AND you want to play ping-pong, I'd say try them out. Otherwise, MAYBE your local mom and pop shop is tastier.

Lebanese Taverna: what do users think?

Victor Wang: Ordered a taverna platter with shawarma (lamb) and it was a lovely combination of rice, salad, lamb, and hummus. The free bread is beautiful and light/fluffy. Prices are reasonable and plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We even were able to stay until after closing to just chat.

Joe Gladstone: Last night was the second time we ate at Lebanese Taverna in DC. The food is outstanding. I ordered lamb shish kebab, the waiter asked me how I wanted the lamb cooked and I said medium rare. Well, the lamb came out well done. I mentioned it to the waiter and in a bothered manner he just said "Well I asked for medium rare". He didn't seem to care. Otherwise, everything was delicious and we will return.

julee wooley: The hommus and Baba Ghannouge were excellent! I had a favorite in Chicago and now I’ve finally found one as great here in Silver Spring Maryland. The pick your platter was the perfect option for me, it was about three meals worth of food! Very impressed with quality and quantity!

James Bacon: Lebenesse Taverna A lovely restaurant space with a vaulted curved high ceiling, nicely furnished and finished, airy and comfortable. Prompt friendly service follows smoothly, but with no pressure at all. (We were awaiting a 4th person who we ultimately did take away for - this was neither an issue or problem, and demonstrates a dynamic approach to customer service from Mustafa our server) The humus with lamb shawarma, baba ganoush and the arnabeet; cauliflower chickpeas, tahini and pine nuts starters was delicious and with hot pitta and oil a substantial starter. The chicken shawarma sandwich with salad was delicious, the chicken was marinated and in a lovely sauce. The chicken curry was mild but flavoursome, while the lamb and artichoke stew had a lovely fruity hint to it, and proved the unusual but very tasty surprise. To end they kindly brought us the baklava without ice-cream as we could just about share it. Loved this service. Excitingly they were hot, and very delicious. We will return here for sure.

krystal wilcox: It's the service for me, the vibe and the energy 😌 I had just left a really stressful place and as soon as I walked in the restaurant the aura calmed me all the way down. Two staff walked up greeted me and I felt welcomed and nurtured. The environment was very clean and it was absolutely gorgeous in the restaurant. I loved the lighting the white table clothes I was really impressed I want to have a dinner party or any type of celebration there. The food was excellent also.

Edward Amartey-Tagoe: Choose between indoors and outdoors. A good sport to have brunch and meet up with friends close to the mall. The food was great but the service/waiting did not match the cuisine. Parking around this area is hard to find. Consider ride-sharing.

Anna Barrett: Good food, good service. They have hand washing station right outside the bathroom, which works well during the pandemic. Their lamb was very tasty

Angelica Norman-Beltran: Delicious food! Started off with their a chicken samosas (3 per order) that came with a great yogurt sauce. The samosas themselves were cooked really well and we're not dried out which was really nice. For lunch I ordered the Mehshi eggplant, zucchini roll dish. It was perfect 👌 I'll be back again for sure

Tara McGee: Fabulous food, excellent service and atmosphere. I particularly recommend the Chef’s Platter and the Spicy Hummus. Yum!

Amanda: Thank you to Noor, my server. A great host, and friendly, who gave several recommendations to this traveler. The food was hot, delicious, and served within an appropriate time. The environment was clean and comfortable, the aesthetic dim and romantic, with just a dash of swank. Open, but not too open as to be left out in space. Cozy but not on top of one another where you have to keep your voice low - still enough privacy between tables. Bathrooms were clean and modern. A nice glass of wine, baklava, and a chance to try Ouzo were wonderful surprises. Thank you Lebanese Taverna.

Grazie Grazie: what do users think?

John Lucero: I was just passing by from NJ, visiting friends, some work, and some other things with my brother. We ordered the Philly Special and the Minelli. Both were 100% on point, with such rich flavors that we had a enjoyable experience. The Philly Special can be a bit heavy, so a happy life for me would be able to have that sandwich spread out to every 3 weeks and the Minelli, was an experience I wouldn’t replace — would be a good 1x/week sandwich for a happy life. Place is small to medium-sized for seating, has an outside seating area, and a large window. Definitely worth the $5/30 min or $10/1 hr parking, also having the beautiful waterfront of The Wharf right next door. Enjoy!
Response: Thanks!

Arnold: Probably the best cheese steak in the DMV! The bread is what sets this place apart, it's crisp but soft and doesn't get soggy. The meat was flavorful and tender. I went here for lunch, in and out in less than 10 minutes but parking is super limited, you'll most likely have to pay.
Response: Thanks!!

Callum Wayman: I've made it my mission to find the best sandwiches in DC and grazie grazie is up there for one of the best. I've been twice and tried both the Russoniello and the Retzo. The sandwiches are so flavorful without being overly indulgent, and everything tastes fresh. Try the fries with grazie sauce for a tasty side! Also the location can't be beat for outdoor dining.
Response: Awesome! Thanks!

james LeBaron: Great sandwich, loved the bread and you can see from the photos there is a lot of food. Will definitely eat here again

Ben Vance: Very trendy Italian sub shop on The Wharf. I went here on my lunch break and they were very quick to make my sandwich from the time I ordered. The music was on point (for my lunch break mood) and I really enjoyed the theming of the place (the oil barrels as lighting fixtures gave me Far Cry 3 vibes for some reason if you're in to that sort of thing). I could tell the food was fresh and chowed it all down. Recommend trying this place for a nice and easy quick bite.

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: All right I heard about this spot via a fellow foodie. The food they posted looked so good that I had to go try it myself. Located at 85 District Square SW., WAshington D.C. you’re gonna find @GrazieGrazie. It’s right by the wharf so the ambience is DOPE!! This establishment specializes in craft sub sandwiches, with premium meats. They do have appetizers like their risotto rounds (lightly fried, with marinara sauce $6), and the roasted tomato hummus (with vegetable crudité $6). This spot has a plethora of different sandwiches like their Italian 8+1 (with salami, hot capicola, prosciutto, sharp provolone, Ito, evoo + red wine vinegar, and house seasoning $11), their Marathon (with natural herb turkey, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, Ito, Basil pesto and house seasoning $11). They even have vegetarian/vegan options like their Cha Cha (Chickpea fritters,Roasted garlic tahini, cucumber,Pickled onion, fresh mint, tomato, and evoo $11). OK on this day I copped their Philly special (pictured-with Grass fed ribeye, cherry pepper aioli, bacon, lto.,and copper sharp cheddar $13.50), their “Ho Bird” (pictured-with all natural marinated chicken breasts, blue cheese, Hunter’s hot sauce, carrots and celery, and Peppercorn ranch $13.50), and their lightly breaded mozzarella squares (pictured with marinara $6). OK so the Philly cheesesteak was DELICIOUS!! It was about 8 inches and it reminded me of the steak and cheeses that we used to have here in D.C. carryouts back in the day. Although this wasn’t an authentic Philly cheesesteak it was delicious. The ingredients are fresh and you taste of each flavor in each bite. GET IT!! Ok the hot chicken cheesesteak was also delicious. It definitely had a bite back, it was fresh, but there was a little bit too much blue cheese on that for me. It overpowered the sandwich. The mozzarella squares?? DELICIOUSNESS!! Get them!! The Sanpelligrino is always hottinI’m curious about their chicken cutlet sandwiches, and their meatball sandwich. I’m going back!! Customer Service was ok, I was greeted, and quickly taken care of. Parking can cost, the Wharf has garages that are pretty much $10 an hour. Online ordering was simple, and the store was clean. No cash, no bathroom. That’s it. #Subs #bigschlimsreviews #cheesesteak #chickencheesesteak #mozzarellasqaures #wharf #SWDC #deliciousfood #foodie #goodeats #graziegrazie #craftsubs #salads #vegan #sanpelligrino #ambiance #gothere #thatsit

James Walker: First timer, absolutely loved my choice of the Marathon: Turkey sandwich( house roasted all natural), fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, basil pesto, and LTO. Dressed with EVOO, red wine vinegar, and house seasoning. Found an outdoor location at the end of the District Wharf Pier to enjoy my Marathon, as I peer over to East Potomac Park observing the Cherry Blossoms and boating activity.

Symone: That Philly cheesesteak 😭🤤🤤🤤 yea you need that. Trust me!!! Honestly overpriced BUT when the craving hits and you want a bomb cheesesteak, you can’t go wrong here. I just know their salads probably slap too 😩 I’m definitely going back! The cheesesteak was $14.85 after tax 🤢and it’s not that big. $15 for a cheesesteak is absolutely bonkers to me compared to a real Philly cheesesteak in Philly for $5-$7 😅 but it’s the first place around here I’ve found that the cheesesteak is really that good.

Alana Moore: I have seen this place multiple times on my social media feed and decided to go with my friends. WHEN I SAY GOING HERE IS WORTH IT, IT IS WORTH IT!!! After eating their Philly Special I was thoroughly satisfied. The bacon, cheese, and dressing/mayo hit every taste bud. I definetly recommend this sandwich shop

Taylor Green: They Philly cheese steak is usually good. I work right around the corner and go all the time. I found a hair in my most recent one and almost threw up. It was thin and long. Two stars because the fries are great

Good Stuff Eatery: what do users think?

Abigail Morales: Good burgers in a 2 story space. Order downstairs and take your food upstairs to a sit down dining area. The fries were a bit burnt as if the oil hadn't been changed but were made from real fresh cut potatoes. The burgers themselves were tasty, nice and filling. If you enjoy a giant burger you may want to get two -my teenage brother wanted another- but we were satisfied with just one. The shakes we tried (oreo, toasted marshmallow and malt) were all tasty.

J B: My hesitation about eating here was that the portions would be insanely huge, the food would be greasy, and I'd leave bemoaning what an awful place. I was so wrong! The portions were PERFECT!!!! There wasn't a single bad food item. The onion petals, fries, burger, so darn good. Loved sitting outside to eat. You get that DC feel. Check out it.

Erick M: Burger - pretty decent, fries - pretty bad, milkshake - pretty good. The burger had a lot going for it (had the Obama Burger), it was juicy and the flavors/sauces went well together, but it was really soggy and greasy immediately after it was prepared (ate in); overall pretty decent burger. The fries unfortunately were the worst part. Got the Village fries which adds rosemary and some seasonings. They had no salt on them and were very soggy and underfried, pretty big letdown. The milkshake was actually very good (cookies and cream), nice and thick w/ a good wide straw. If the fries had not been so bad, I'd consider coming back, but the fries are half the experience for me. Wouldn't eat here again (or would ask the fries to be well done).

Elizabeth Dou: The burger is pretty good, a little heavier and greasier than expected. The bun gets kind of soggy with all the toppings. Burger is also on the smaller side. Price range for a burger is greater than $9 depending on your toppings. Fries aren’t crispy and more on the soft/soggy side despite being served hot. There is a place upstairs to eat as well as outside seating. I think Five Guys and Shack Shack are on par with this burger place.

Kn Bn: The worst service I ever had probably, the girl was really not happy to be here. No smile, no hello, no please, no thanks, she didn't even looked at me that was crazy.. Also they forgot our order , so we wait more without any apologize.. The food was good, but please do something about our staff, probably a training to explain how smile and how be cordial

Chandra Coleman: Food was delicious, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The Toasted Marshmallow shake was AMAZING!! My only regret was that we didn't find it sooner.

Kyle Van Hecke: Things I like: Good burgers and shakes! Fries are actually really good too (despite some of the reviews suggesting otherwise) but you have to eat them fresh. They put all their fries immediately into a sealed paper bag so they will get soggy unless you eat them at the restaurant. They also have a selection of fry dipping sauces that are good! Things I dislike: the burger size could definitely be bigger. I do eat a lot but I can easily finish 2 burgers in one sitting (which is waaaay too expensive for my budget). Their beer selection is pretty underwhelming too, they only have 1 option at the moment. Finally, they charge a 5% “COVID surcharge.” I absolutely understand the time we live in but just be honest and raise your prices… don’t add on a hidden 5% fee. Fees like this feel very dishonest to me and that’s why I knocked them down from 4 to 3 stars.

Jerilyn Williams: I didn't like my burger.. for a $9 burger.. I expected more. Felt like they really just threw something together. My guest enjoyed her cheese burger but neither of us like the Village Fries.. I think they should have been fresher, they seemed soggy and too soft. The milkshakes were good.. I had the salted caramel and my guest had vanilla. This definitely wasn't a $30 meal.

TRAM HA: Came here cause it was close to the Capitol and had lots of reviews. To be honest I’m not sure why cause the food was ok. Burgers tasted alright. The fries were not good but better with the thyme and rosemary. I think it’s also the oil in fries that I didn’t like. Also ordered two shakes. Salted caramel (my mom liked that) and a cookies n cream shake that of course didn’t have enough cookies. It was pretty much a vanilla shake. Maybe it was just the workers that day cause they weren’t that friendly. You know when you don’t want to be at work and others can tell? Yeah it was like that.

Charlie Sanders: One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and reasonably priced as well. The Prez was definitely worth the money, and the rest of my crew loved the burgers they got. The toasted marshmallow milkshake was heavenly. If I was a legislative staffer I’d be eating here everyday.

Cactus Cantina: what do users think?

Jonathan Robertson: Came to the area after visiting the Washington National Cathedral. I am from Florida and found the food and flavors to be average. Service was fine. Prices are right for the area. Lots of people and cool atmosphere.

John Thompson: I'm from Texas and I can say they have very good Mexican food, but the service is lacking, even though they were not very busy. We arrived early afternoon and it took a while to get drinks served and take the order. Then, when the order came out there were only three meals for the four of us. We waited while they cooked the other order and brought it out. We had a good time and especially enjoyed the soft beef tacos, but we did a lot of waiting. They should have made the fourth meal they forgot complementary, but all they did was say they were sorry it took so long.

Teresa Rivera: Waited 30+ minutes for a table. The seafood soup special not good. Very little seafood and mussels in shells that weren't open. Calamari appetizer soft not crunchy. Tacos ok but nothing special. Used to be one of our favorite places several years ago, not anymore. Service lacking, even the premixed margaritas seemed to have little alcohol. The parking has always been difficult, not worth the hassle now. Save yourself a trip and visit a Mexican restaurant with a parking lot.

Pat S: We visited Catcus Cantina today, the service was very average. Unenthusiastic waitstaff, the food came out fast, hot and sizzling. However this place is not authentic mexican food. Frozen Margs are completely tasteless. I had the carne asada it was unseasoned the Saltado was salty. I only liked the chips and shrimp quesadilla. I definitely will not return or recommend.

Maria D. Villars: Service was great - food not so much.

Mindy Finn: Our family loves to eat here; there is an extensive menu, including a kids menu that my children love; we love the chips, salsa, rice, beans, and every dish we have ordered, especially the fresh tortillas; the price is right, and the staff is friendly. It's rare to have a restaurant in DC that's so spacious you rarely have to wait, even without a reservation. We'll come again and again.

Gon Freecss: 5 stars. Service here is amazing, The food was really good and the waiters were very respectful and friendly. It was very comfortable to eat here especially with family and friends, definitely will come again. Towards the end I actually lost my phone and a lot of staff helped me find it and they we’re VERY quick about the situation they found the phone and got the phone back to me in below 10 minutes on the same night. I don’t remember her name but the waiter that helped and served our table was incredibly nice and professional about the situation. From the red scratchy iPhone case you guys found.

J Cook: Warm flour tortillas are wonderful. Portions are great! Salmon was fixed perfectly. Tortilla chips warm and fresh with great salsa. Really enjoyed the chicken & vegetable fajitas! Would love to come back!

Mike Ragsdale: Some of the best ribs I've ever had. These place had great food. We will definitely be back!

Ted Lyons: I have been going here for a long time. It’s a great spot. Don’t let tourists and people from Texas convince you it’s not good. You won’t find anything better including all the spots due north on the red line. Plenty of fresh salsa and chips. Delicious food. Fun atmosphere. An awesome place.

Mitsitam Native Foods Cafe: what do users think?

Cat Lady: The lunch here was mediocre at best. First, there was not a very big selection. I ordered a cheeseburger and steak fries. The steak fries were very good. The burger was dried out, burnt, and on a roll that was way to big for it. They only had canned soda, both fountain soda machines had an “out of order” sign on it. We also got the fry bread which I thought was good.

Peter Ross: Unbelievable that they can’t make Fry Bread at at a place that claims it features high-end Native American food. After eating a small portion of the cold fry bread I threw it away. Stay away from this place.

Rena Correia: Navajo Taco!!! Mmmm, good!! It's chilli, lettuce, chili peppers, cheese and sour cream on a piece of fried bread!! You must try it at least once... its really good!!!

Scott Bracken: Even for cafeteria good, subpar...and pricey $$$ to boot. The rice and cranberry salad was excellent. Churros were overcooked, chili tasted like it came from can, and fry bread was tough. Maybe we live too close to Navajo country..but expected a lot better tacos. For $16 you'd get at least two in AZ, NM, NV, or UT. Museum was nice. Lunch was almost $20/person.

Angela Baron: I dont have a lot to say. I'd hoped for a menu more inspired by the American Indian cultures. The Buffalo burger was fine. It's pretty pricey. It was just an average overall experience.

Shadi Beidas: 1. The food is amazing.2. The cost is comparable to restaurants in the city itself.3. The museum is free, yet incredible. Eating here helps to patronize the museum if you cannot afford an appreciable donation.

Duke Derdock: I struggled between a 3 star and 4 star rating for here. I came here because 1) I wanted unique food I wouldn't find anywhere else, and 2) Multiple reviews said this was a good place for kids to eat. They definitely have unique food. I got the buffalo chili over fried bread. It was good, not great. My kids got the buffalo burgers, they seemed to like them a lot. The price point is what threw me... for a quick service restaurant. Three buffalo cheeseburgers, and the chili over fried bread, a milk, and a banana (no drinks, we got waters)... it came to $76. Pretty steep pricing for what it was in my opinion.

Jane L: I'm afraid I waited too long to visit this cafe. It sounds like the menu is less adventurous now and more like mainstream fast food. I got the Indian Taco which was a like of chili, lettuce, and tomatoes on top of a round piece of fried bread. It tasted great but probably not worth $15. Other options were even more expensive! If you do eat here, order anything with the fried bread. It's delicious. If you want to eat elsewhere, Air and Space is overpriced but has cheaper items and is nearby. I recommend not eating at museums but if you really have to, try to plan your day so you wind up near the National Museum of African American History. That cafe is worth the price. On weekdays, you can find a few places South of Independence Ave. On all days you can find many more places near Gallery Place.

Sascha Reinstein (Elle/They): Got the Navajo taco, a side salad and a bottled water, paid 27usd. It was not great, I came expecting delicious food but it does not taste like anything special. Wish I'd eaten somewhere else for cheaper, tbh.

Alessia Amenta: Ask for "a plate full of colors": for $16 you can choose 4 different side dishes from any of the counters and basically make your own tasting menu. As others have pointed out, burgers –and entrees in general– are overpriced (as you'd expect from a museum cafe). Fun fact: Mitsitam means "let's eat".

2 Amys: what do users think?

George Kaviladze: 2 Amy's must be the best place to get wood oven pizza around DMV area. Year after year they've maintained the quality and taste and consistency. Their pizzas are to die for, crust is amazing and I recommend getting the meatballs it's small and you can share with one or two people. Order yourself draft Peroni beer and enjoy the best pizza in town!

Jan gk: Wonderful food and quaint atmosphere! We had the cod croquettes, lamb skewers, deviled eggs and pizza, so so good, we will return soon.

Joe J.: You'll find the most comforting Neapolitan pizza 🍕 at 2 Amy's. This place is a must go, definitely a gem not to be missed in DC. It's pretty casual but it does get busy on the weekends. Overall, highly recommended!

Sam Wash: The pizza at 2 Amy’s is quite good. I would say they have a lot of competition . The bad is the seating. I had to wait over 1hour and 15 min with 2 tweens . Not a great experience and to top it off the waiter was rude and did not want to hear my complaints. Terrible service. Not worth the hassle there are too many authentic Neapolitan pizza places. If they can improve the wait and train the staff better they would be all set. On top of it they have an indoor mask policy or vaccination. Hello DC does not require this. Also to charge a mandatory service charge when the service sucks. Not good.

Nick: The pizza was good. Not really cost effective though, I personally don't think it's worth it over other pizza places considering how small of a pizza you get... Also, I feel like the vibe of this whole place is: "we have so many clients and we're so busy, we barely care if you eat here or not." I don't really mind the vaccine requirement thing, but it is quite ridiculous, I mean isn't the whole point of a vaccine to protect yourself, not necessarily others? But also, who are they to ask you for a vaccine certificate, it's not law... Not really a big deal, but that's not all. I don't understand why they burn the pizza here either, note that you can ask for a light bake, but still, I've lived in Italy for a bit and I can tell you that it definitely isn't an Italian thing to burn some parts of a pizza. Also note that for takeout they won't actually call/text/email you when it's ready. So if you don't go in, you won't get your pizza until it's cold (if at all). Which by the way is kind of hypocritical when you consider the vaccine requirement. So overall, if you're VERY desperate for some good pizza which is hard to come by in DC, and you don't mind overpaying or the ridiculous service, come here. Otherwise if you're looking for nice value, service, and an all-around good experience, look elsewhere.

Jacob White: They were heavy on salt, sparse on the sauce, and the quality of the crust left something to be desired. The service and atmosphere was great, but in my experience, how the food looked did not match how it tasted. It was by no means gross, but there are better Neapolitan pizzerias in the area. Frankly, I’d choose Puppatella over 2 Amys.

Jack Shorb: No brainer 5 star review. Feels distinctly different from other DC restaurants. Great relaxed non pretentious vibe. Food is simple but perfect. Amazing ingredients and flavor. Go if you have not!

Ron Shipley: 2 Amys never disappoints. We ordered from the daily specials: pea soup with poached egg, fried green tomatoes and a morel mushroom pizza along with a side salad and rhubarb ice cream for desert. Every dish was great!

Karen Blonder: Amazing. The pizza here is always outstanding. Appetizers delicious.....and we did several of the specials. If you are there and they have raw artichoke salad...get it. So fresh and delicious.

H D: Overrated unfortunately. I have been twice. First visit, service was poor, the second visit better—but expect a long wait and they don’t take reservations. Food is underwhelming and lacking in flavor and seasoning, although I’m sure the ingredient quality is good. Prepare to overpay for what you will receive. I respect that the tip is included. However, the owners (and some staff) seem to have a chip on their shoulder or are aloof about the place in general.

We, The Pizza: what do users think?

Bethsabe Alvarez: Smells so good from outside! The place offers a wide variety of combinations. Salads are included in the menu. 1- Customer service was good, they answered my questions, 😊. 2- Food was very good, I ordered half Ham & Pineapple, half Marketplace (this one I loved it). They offer a homemade sodas, I ordered the Blood Orange... delicious soda 😍. 3- Price per Slice 🍕 $4-$5 I think is over the average. Price for a Medium 14" $21, fair. 4-Place, my table was kinda dancing, I ate outside. Probably it could be better. But inside, the smell and menu presentation was great. For me the 5 star is because the homemade soda and the people who is working there, they're doing a good job. Thank you!

Rena Correia: THE BEST PIZZA!!!! It was SO GOOD!!! I wish I could have eaten more!! Crunchy crust and lots of toppings!! Check out all the different pies in the pictures!! They had everything you could think of! So so good!!!!

Silica st (A violated fox): Pizza was fresh out the oven. It looked really good but the flavor was average. And for 30 bucks I was hoping for more. I feel like a 10 dollar frozen pizza taste better then this one sadly. Wings were tasty so that's a plus

Amy Tucker: This place came highly recommended to us by a friend. We ordered through delivery app after a long day of sight seeing. The pizza was fairly priced. The crust was delicious and the toppings worked really well together. It was so fragrant that when we went to take our first bite our mouths literally began to water. We order the Capitol Supreme, may need to try another before we leave town!

Ha Dong: Really good, freshly made pizza with many toppings to choose from. I love to try all topping if im back in town again. Right by the capitol

mary thomas: OMG some of the BEST pizza i ever had other than my mother's and Nephew [ who learned from his Nana]. Loaded w toppings, tasty dough, does not FLOP over when you pick it up. Perfectly cooked and lots of choices for by the slice purchase. They also have beer and super friendly staff.

Forrest Jackson-Knorr: Pizza is delicious. Delivery is horrible. My pizza was delivered cold and like the photo below. I only live one block from the store but it took delivery person 30 minutes to deliver once he left the restaurant. I would normally walk to the restaurant and pick it up, but I had surgery and wasn’t able. Deliver person had his pants down to his knees. When dealing w the public your employees should look professional. Owner called me to advise me that the manager would make it right. I never heard from the manager. 🤷‍♂️. Just like the manager wouldn’t answer the phone the night the pizza was delivered like in the photo.

Chad Godfirnon: Delicious pizza by the slice or whole pie btons of options including vegan and vegetarian choices. Fast service and inside and outside seating. The Vegan pie was really tasty and flavorful.

Y B: Picked up 3 pizzas: one turned out to come with "nuts". We don't really have a nut allergy but common sense says not to eat metal. Good thing one of the eagle-eyed guest spotted it before anyone broke a tooth or choked on it.

Alex Culver: Best pizza on the world(like others said) or best pizza on the planet! Sat directly in from of window where they were constructing each pizza. Amazing. A must eat!

THE GRILL: what do users think?

Charli Knows How To Eat: There was a bit of a wait so if you plan on going here I would call ahead of time. The atmosphere is really intimate and relaxed with dim lighting. perfect for a date. They have a great menu selection. My date and I ordered their meal for two to split which included 5 courses; bread with soup, a salad, an appetizer sampler, a dinner plate and desert. The muscles were amazing in the wine sauce they had! And all of the food I tried was excellent. I didn’t much care for the candied bacon or the food that had dates in it.

Ozzie Angrish - REALTOR: What a wonderful surprise 😮! The location is great, the food was good, and the service was excellent. The restrooms were very clean! You can choose to eat by the water or inside. You must have a reservation I believe. The reason for the 4 🌟 s is because I was brought vegan options instead of being handed a menu to choose options. After, I explained my concern, the service was excellent! I would definitely attend again. 😌 FYI: Ride the metro, bus, uber, or a scooter because parking is horrible.

K Wilson: The best thing about this restaurant is the Wharf location however with so many options in close proximity I Highly Recommend That You STAY AWAY! I made an reservation yet when I arrived at the confirmed time I had to wait although it was not busy here. The hostess walked me to the table and was quite confused about where I was to sit. Here no here sorry here. This wasn’t a good way to start the evening. We sat and waited for over thirty minutes to have a server offer us water. The strange thing was it was not busy. Yet I watched the servers play on their phones and socialize among themselves without even noticing my table. Nonetheless the evening service continued to decline and the food was simply bland and cold. First off we ordered the calamari and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp smelled old while the cocktail sauce was slightly sweet. The calamari was covered in layers of sauce which wasn’t good. The only time food is covered in sauces is when it is hiding something. The scallops were just okay but once again served with a pureed mountain of undercooked vegetables and sauce explosion. The halibut was served on a bed of cold risotto. What a waste of time and calories. To say this was disappointing would be a compliment.

SassyKay TheBoss: Nice outdoor seating the devil eggs were very delicious! I got the grilled chicken it was very moist and juicy, but it was lacking flavor not seasoned at all. Other than that the restaurant was amazing!!

Brit R: Was in town for leisure and was unable to make it to another reservation. Booked on Open Table here and got there early. We were allowed to sit at the bar and order drinks and appetizers first before reservation outdoor. The drinks and food were absolutely delicious! We had the Grill Punch, Strawberry Bellini, bread basket, fresh Oysters, and the steak and egg meal on the Sunday Brunch menu. The Chimichurri is some of the best ive ever had! We wanted to try to pineapple upside down dessert but they were out, a really nice family next to us that were celebrating their Anniversary was so gracious to let us taste from their platter! Our server Justin was amazing! He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. The noise level was very moderate. The restaurant is spic and span. The service was fast. The front house was moving through and making sure everything was operating smoothly. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone i know visiting DC and i will be making a must stop for future visits as well!

Tahirah Khabir: I had my birthday dinner here with my Besties. I love seafood and had never been here before. The ambiance was super cute. I love the water and outside dining. But the food was just meh. For the price I expected WOW! Now don't get me wrong. My crancake was good. Just good. Flavor and not alot of breading so that was good. The sweet potato side was Amazing. The pistachio on top took me there. Ceasar was a ceasar. The crab dip..NOPE. Not it. They also have a "lobster pie" ..meh...I may be back for the good drinks or not. Depends. ...Either way dinner and drinks with my girls was just what I needed and you guys provided the best atmosphere for it.

Kristen Darby: This is one of the best dinners that we have had in a while y’all should check it out. Steaks are delicious and cooked perfectly. And they have a kids menu. The service is great! Our server was amazing and the manager Jojo checked in with us throughout our meal. We are here for 4 days and will likely return

Mir Ra: The Grill DC is a vibe! Aesthetically pleasing, dim lighting, moderate noise level, the ambiance is rather sexy. Good place to go for date night whether solo (the bar is nice), with your bestie, or your boo 😉. The bathroom is a nice place to flick it up for the gram. It does get busy so reservations are recommended especially on the weekends. The cocktail menu looked good but personally I'm a whisky girl so I was shocked and delighted that they had Suntory Toki (one of my faves; Japanese whisky). My girlfriend had a cocktail called The Last Word (not on the menu) and she raved about it. Shout out to our server Tay for the recommendation 'cause she's picky as hell. Now the food! First of all the menu has quite a few options but what we got did not disappoint. We ordered the Mixed Grill for two at $65pp and with that we each had a Ceasar salad with anchovies (there are only two on the salad but it gave it nice flavor), then we got to sample all of the bites (appetizers) which included bacon wrapped dates, spicy lamb skewers with tzatziki sauce, deviled eggs with duck liver mousse and caviar, and grilled cheese bites dusted with honey and pistachio. OMG! Soooo good. For the main course we shared the surf and turf, ribeye steak with bordelaise and chimichurri sauces on the side (you can pick whatever sauce you'd like), shrimp, crabcakes, pimento Mac and cheese (it was cheesy af but I'm not a huge fan of pimento cheese but what little I ate was good; just wouldn't order it again) and for dessert we got the grilled pineapple upside down cake. Whew! The portions were perfect in size and I love that they sliced the steak for you making it easier to plate. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. 😋 There is a parking garage next door to the restaurant off Main Street and no they do not validate. 5 🌟 's either way.

Kirsten Greenwell: Husband and I came here because we had gift cards to the company that owns The Grill and it greatly exceeded our expectations! We got the mixed grill set menu and were blown away. The ribeye with grilled shrimp and crab cakes was incredible, and the chocolate cake is one of the best we’ve ever had. The only weak spot was the Moroccan lamb skewers on the appetizer platter that were too cinnamon-y. It’s definitely expensive but well worth it for a special occasion!

Yessenia C: Delicious. Everything I tried was spectacular. It is expensive but worth it. My favorite part of the meal was the sweet potatoes. You MUST try them.

Copacabana Catering & Cafe: what do users think?

J Foodgeek: Four Stars based on fried tilapia, white rice, and black beans. The fish was fresh. The rice with little dry but it was the end of the day, so I won't fault them on that. I do plan on going back and trying something else. I do think it's weird that the prices and the restaurant are not the same as the prices on the website. If you mention it to them, they tell you to scan something on your phone, but that's still not going to fix the prices on their website. Also they must not have enough menus since when somebody walks in and ask for one, they take it from a seated table. I saw them do it twice.

Favorite Financial: Feels like i’m in São Paulo, Brazil when I eat here! You have to try the picanha & fried yucca dish prepared by Brazilian Chef Francisco! Instagram @taxes

William Harris: A taste of authentic Brazilian cuisine and hospitality right in Adam's Morgan! Everything on the menu is a must try from their appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts! It's normal for people to only try what they're familiar with but it is highly reccomended to be as adventurous as the Brazilian spirit and enjoy a taste of everything! You will not be disappointed with whatever you try. This has quickly become my favorite Brazilian good location!

Marli Yamada DeCarvalho: Moved the Food In general! The picanha, pastel, Cheese Valls, Chicken croquetes and All deserts are very classic traditional to the Brazilian cousin! Well done
Response: Thanks for you feedback it’s really important to us!

J C: After reading all the good recommendations I decided to show our “authentic” Brazilian food to my partner. It was a disaster since we arrived. Not flavor at all in the coxinhas, Pastel or bolinho de bacalhau, and same for the main dishes , Just oil flavor. The fried fish dish and the feijoada was even worse and cold, but we were the only ones in the restaurant, is not that they were busy busy. As u can see for yourself, the food looks pretty suspicious. I got very disappointed and frustrated specially because my partner and I got an stomachache right after. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place, but I hope it was just a bad day and that they get better, because we don’t have anything good to say about his place as of right now.

Ben Yatt: Delicious food and amazing hospitality. Hosted District Language Exchange event in the basement and the set up was perfect with tables set up for us and beautiful decorations, disco lights, and fog machine.

john t: Great good, Great service. Pastries that are to die for !!!

Gabriella Fonseca: Walked into this restaurant + all I could smell was urine. Guy was so unkempt + the place was dirty. Table had crumbs all over it. Needless to say I left moments after. Didn’t really desire to find out about the food.

Angelo Z32 Twin Turbo: Conveniently located in Kensington off of Connecticut Ave. Come here for all of your sweet Brazilian Cravings and so much more! My wife and I attended their Feijoada (Pork, Beef and Bean stew) day this last sunday and fell in love with their awesome customer service, their authentic Brazilian cuisine, great selection of sweets, pastries and treats. Pay them Visit! You won't regret it!
Response: Thank you so much! We can’t wait to serve you again!

Mae Medina: Food was ok. Service was ok. Cocktails/Drinks are gross, get a beer. The downstairs (where the comedy show is) smells like urine.
