Dirty Habit: what do users think?

Olivia M. Wilson: Went to Dirty Habit for brunch and it was good! The fruit was really fresh and the potatoes were crisp. However, the service was decent and they only have bar seats available. Maybe that’s because we arrived an hour before they closed for the afternoon. Either way, the food made up for it. I would definitely like to try their dinner menu.

Blvknative: Going to dirty habit for Valentines Day was top tier! The ambience was everything I was expecting! The deal as far as food and drinks were top of the line! Truly a captivating experience for my company and I.

Katlin B.: Best French onion soup I ever had! The vibe is trendy and the crowd is very eclectic. The food and drinks were amazing! Will return for soup. Thanks to the awesome host and staff! There is also a nice outdoor area as well.

Lamina Richardson: I was a little disappointed when i visited dirty habit. It’s aesthetically pleasing but i wasn’t impressed with the food. I got the district chicken and the black rice that’s paired with it was very gritty. The dish was also paired with okra and string beans. The veggies weren’t sautéed at all and had no flavor. They literally tasted like microwaved veggies that were previously frozen. The chicken was actually good but the parings sucked so it wasn’t filling. Nice atmosphere though. Really good espresso martini! If i go again it would only be for drinks.

Firefly: what do users think?

Sadhana G: Went to this beautiful place for brunch on a Sunday. The food was a whole new level of excitement! Presentation and quality of the food and the good ambience set the right tone for the weekend. But the only setback was the price. We had an Egg frittata, chicken and waffles and Egg Benedict-crab ( the chef special) and it cost us 70$. A great place to grab finger food in a cute setting !

Garner Marshall: Excellent breakfast spot. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking is pretty scarce around the area. Staff is excellent. Good is delicious. Music is diverse. Location is convenient. This is going to be one of my new favorite breakfast spots.

Mariia Sarlayan: Wonderful food, amazing service, beautiful interior, pleasant vibe. A bit pricey for brunch but worth it. I wish more tables outside had umbrellas for shades but even then the experience was memorable.

Linden Yee: Solid brunch, overall recommend. The eggs on the benedict were pretty undercooked but the flavors were good, and the chicken and waffles were really well seasoned. Service was pretty slow, and the staff seemed to be up against a lot. While the waiter was great, they appeared to be the only one working the entire restaurant.

Khadija Khan: The restaurant has changed a lot since the last time I was here! Really friendly staff and nice ambiance! My favorite was the peanut butter and jelly French toast with the jalapeño honey! It’s an Interesting combo but I really liked it. Our server recommended a really yummy mocktail! The food was a little pricey so I’m not sure if I’ll be visiting again any time soon, but the dishes were innovative and delicious.

idcwhatcoloritis: This had to be an off night cause the place was interesting. The old arcade games were cool and our waitress did her best with a terrible situation. Two of our three meals were barely warm at best and cold at worst. The other was basically frozen salmon from a grocery store on what looked like Couscous but was actually rice some how. They nuked our food in the microwave and brought it back out. The vegan burger both smelled and tasted like fish. Completely inedible. All in all, the food was terrible all around. The only plus to this experience was the owner who took both meals off our bill and bought us a round of shots to make up for it after there POS system went down. We saw at least 10 plates go back to the kitchen while we were there. I don’t think this is normal cause most of the people there seemed like regulars and were super confused by there food. I think it was an off night but I don’t think any of my group will be returning.

Lisa Mayberry: Cute little place for brunch out of the way in a hotel down New Hampshire Street. Outside patio seating is nice for a cool day with the umbrella up.

Madhatter: what do users think?

Tariro Chimhandamba: I really liked the Alice in wonderland vibe. We were seated immediately. They had a Wednesday drink special. The food was good definitely would recommend this place for people looking for great food stop in DC.

Jeffery Montgomery: Nice, popular brunch spot. Hangover Bowl was a very filling and hearty portion of food. The decor was "Alice in Wonderland" theme, the other guests all seemed friendly. Would recommend for a nice dive bar with friends for a hot meal with cold drinks.

Ryan: Wonderful service at the bar. Delicious good and good cocktails. Great location

Un Utilisateur Google: Tried the Thursday 1$ beer offer. And even if it tasted like water, the atmosphere was incredible. Kind staff. HUGE shoutout to the DJ that despite playing only old and new HITS music, mixed them perfectly to never let the dance floor down. Total blast 💥

Usman Ahmed: I purchased 2 bottles of corona at the upstairs bar and the total came to $18. I wanted to socialize so I asked the bartender what his name was. He responded “I don’t give my name out to people who don’t tip”. The rest of the staff is usually friendly so I was surprised. Their boss is not paying them enough and it translates to poor customer service if you do not pay their wages yourself. This is not the great depression anymore. Pay your workers living wages

Hannah Collins: food was good! atmosphere and cocktails were lacking. my partner and I both had sandwiches and onion rings, pretty tasty. the vibe was very odd - the bar seemed ok but we went in the dining room where we were the only guests and it was oddly upscale compared to the bar area. the cocktails were lame, we didn’t have the mad hatter hat maybe that would have been better, i had a frozen margarita which was ok. my number one issue was that it was very dirty. my cup was dirty. the water glass was positively stuck to the table. the paintings have obviously never been wiped down.

Jéssica Bittencourt: The place is great, they play all kinds of music and me and my friends would love to go there. Their hat drink is delicious and pretty big and fair. It’s really worth it.

Blue Duck Tavern: what do users think?

Michelle Wiciak: Absolutely phenomenal. This place has the best duck ever. Honestly, everything we had was amazing--from the charcuterie board to the horseradish potatoes to the chocolate peanut butter cake. A well-rounded meal. Not to mention, our waiter did an excellent job at recommending our wine selection and paired beautifully with our dishes. Just an amazing experience and will come back when we are in the city again.

Tilak Kalaria: Blue Duck Tavern in the Park Hyatt is an amazing dining experience. The ambience and the service match the excellent cocktails, wine, and cuisine. You truly get what you pay for and you do pay don’t get me wrong but WoW everything tastes excellent and the service team’s attention to detail elevates the experience. The bone marrow and the duck were my favourite dishes to name a couple. Intriguingly delicious was their house bread with olives! Excellent dining experience that is worth the price. Cheers.

Kim Nguyen: Wow. We were so impressed with the quality of the food here. It’s my first time in DC and after a bit of researching for fine dining restaurant, we decided to try Blue Duck Tavern. I was able to make a last minute reservation for 2 at 8:30pm. Their bone marrow and duck breast were so bomb. The service was amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Jerry’s Adventure: Service, value, flavor it hits all the marks The short ribs were tender and melts in your mouth. And with a smoky flavor 👌 the egg 🥚 is cooked perfectly as it gives a creamy texture to the dish. The biscuit holds up with good structure, but it’s flavor may not be as accentuated as it can be (mostly herbs) and can use a gravy. Pancakes were fluffy as expected and presentation is beautiful 😌 Overall a must go in DC area

Vivian Cheng: Went for lunch. Food is solid, well-executed. We had the cured ocean trout (delicious!) and the kale salad (perfect) with two entrees. Crab cakes are large and delicious. Well seasoned, paired with a salad. I had the confit duck leg. Flavorful, succulent, with a beautiful crispy skin. Sadly, we were too full for dessert. Well-worth a visit.

Tamila Torab Eghdami: It was my first time eating duck. The food was absolutely delicious! 😋 The service was amazing. Too bad we didn’t have time to go back for the second time but next time I’m in Washington definitely we’ll go back. We also tried their apple pie with tea and it was the best apple pie I ever had in my whole life. This restaurant worth your money and time!

Amer Alsamman: Went for our anniversary. The staff were curtious, and friendly. Our waiter went above and beyond to make make our experience great The apple pie was amazing. I had the beef rib which was good but had more fat veins than expected.

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.

Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…

Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.

Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.

Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.

Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍

Lincoln: what do users think?

byron subero: This restaurant was great! The maitre d was very nice and informative about the restaurant and the art work. Food was delicious and the drinks was amazing. The peach moonshine was fantastic. Definitely need to go back to try their brunch.

Faith Mitchell: Enjoyed brunch at Lincoln yesterday morning. Loved the vibes as the restaurant is cute and they play good music. It is very clean and I felt comfortable enjoying a meal here. The menu had a lot of options and $50 for bottomless mimosas and food is a great deal. Definitely had some unique flavor combinations that we surprisingly enjoyed. The service was a bit slow as we waited for awhile to be served and didn’t get checked on as much as we would have liked. However, everyone was nice including the manager and, when we did get a server, we were well taken care of. Would go back.

Mikayla Ramirez: Nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Great food. Decent price.

Nonie Fields: My friend and I stopped by the Lincoln yesterday for lunch. The food was amazing and the ambiance and decor was aesthetically pleasing. Our server Brandy took great care of us she made our experience a million times better. I definitely will be back to try the dinner & brunch menu!

Bobby A: Got there for "Happy Hour". They have a wonderful appetizer selection as well as wines, beers, and cocktails. We enjoyed glasses of wine, beer. And a couple of scotches! The deli platter was good as was the fish taco. The romaine ceaser was really tops! Excellent waiter though they were busy. We sat outside but the inside is very nice. Also, clean restroom. Will come back.

Madison Garcia: I went to Lincoln last Sunday for their Pride brunch with a group of girlfriends and had such a fun time! The bartender, Nico, served us and gave us the best experience. The drinks were great and he was so fun and friendly. The food was delicious and the service made our time there even better. I will definitely be going back soon!

Patrick Baber: Delicious brunch and incredible staff. Highly recommend. Cool vibe and decor as well.

Stable DC: what do users think?

Bobbi DeAnda: Great service and food is pretty good. The fondue is tasty but only comes with bread - getting other sides is extra (and you can’t get a mix of them - like a side of a bowl of potatoes or a bowl of apples or a bowl of pickles) and would have liked more variety. We purchased some extra - the apples and potatoes - the potatoes were a little hard and completely flavorless (needed some salt in my opinion) - still tasted too plain even in the cheese. The table is a little small to not feel cramped. Overall, it was a good experience but we probably won’t go back. For dinner in the $$$ range, I would expect to leave with a fully satisfied belly!

Andrew Harper: Dinner was delicious, we really enjoyed the cheese! We were lucky enough to snag an indoor chalet which felt very private and cozy. I had the lavender martinita, and the lavender was so fragrant and tasty with the tequila. For food, we did the raclette which I highly recommend. It comes with several things to pour your cheese over, but my personal favorite was the Italian speck ham which was an add-on for just over $10 - but totally worth it. My only feedback is that our service was very very slow and our waiter seemed distracted, so we had to keep grabbing another waiter after waiting for things we asked for for a while or when we had been waiting for the check for quite some time. But otherwise, a wonderful dining experience 🙂🧀

joyride4324: The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly! The best part was the cheese appetizers from Switzerland. It was explained that they came from cows in the alps! Soooo good. I’d like to try the fondu the next time I come!

Megan Ulu-Lani Boyanton: Such a wonderful Saturday brunch experience. We didn’t need a reservation to get an outdoor table around noon, which is a plus for spontaneous eaters. The owner and wait staff are lovely and personable. The food is delicious, and we’ll be back for dinner soon!

Polina Antipova: Our Swiss friends recommended this restaurant for dinner as a Swiss dining experience. I’ve never tried Swiss food before but I liked it here.

Oceanie De Silva: Sunday brunch! Cute little cabins to give you the Swiss feel! Tasty swiss food!! Enjoyed our Sunday brunch

Amanda Donaldson: This was my first fondue experience and I really enjoyed it! The cheese was delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere and decor, including the little Swiss history tidbits on the wall in the restroom. The staff was very polite and friendly.

Crimson DC: what do users think?

Tahoma Lewis: Love the casual atmosphere! Our server was polite and attentive. The food was good. The pickled deviled eggs were esthetically pleasing and delicious. I had never had them before, and was not disappointed.

Arielle H: I have only had experience on the rooftop. We actually stumbled upon it one day. We walked in looking to just sit at the bar and one of the employees said why don’t you check out the rooftop and we said heck yeah! The views are great, the service is fairly fast, and the drinks were even better. - Will definitely be returning in the midst of summer.

Jenna DeFosse: Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here. The service was extremely slow. Had to wait one hour for food! I have never had such a poor experience at a restaurant, this was very unfortunate. We just sat waiting and waiting for food…It was incredibly hard to flag someone down so after waiting one hour went up to someone and asked how much longer for the food. We deduced that the order was never put in originally because the food then arrived 20 mins later. Other patrons seemed to be having similar experiences. Food not coming, other customers left because food was taking so long. They seemed short staffed but the service was not good. It was expensive for these sub-par burgers. I’ve heard the rooftop bar is nice, so I’ll hold out for that.

S. K. Hill: Finally, I was able to visit Crimson and I loved it. From the awe-inspiring rooftop view of downtown DC to the very cool Whiskey Bar on the lower level, Crimson hit the ball out of the park. I loved their old-bay wings, kettle chips and ciders (apple and pineapple). It is in a great location in Chinatown. I will definitely come back here again and again. Easily FIVE STARS.

BA R: Chinatown in D.C. Lucky for us the only place opened after 9 P.M on a Tuesday night. Great ambience. Good food. And they have a Whiskey Bar downstairs w/ live music. 10/10 we’ll be back.

Matthew Copper: When other dining establishments in the neighborhood had at least an hour wait, we stumbled upon Crimson. The seated us quickly and the service and food was wonderful! Will definitely be returning!!

Jack Kelly: A very busy venue with an exceptionally odd policy of confiscating water bottles of patrons in case they contained alcohol. I have been to countless bars, clubs, restaurants, taprooms and so on and have never ever encountered such a bizarre policy. We were a small group (4 adults) joining a small group (4-5 adults again) plus an infant which made the confiscation even more bizarre. The elevators are more protected than Fort Knox. The top floor was closed for a private event, but the host accidentally pressed the top floor button. She asked us to step out of the elevator (reminder, with infant so it was more of a nuisance than just adults) so the elevator could run up to the exclusive top floor party empty (because we weren’t even allowed near it let alone ride the elevator directly up and directly down). When it returned the host had to swipe her card and press the correct button to send it down to the basement. Again, countless bars, restaurants, venues and heck even corporate offices and have never experience something like that. Two truly bizarre incidents that soured an otherwise pleasant venue which leaves me with no desire to return and no reason to recommend to others. The food is good but the service messy and slow.

Lavada Walker: Well well well, how I just stumbled upon Brunch on The View. I was very undecided between Shrimp and Grits or the Brioche French Toast. I decided to go with the Shrimp and Grits, Wow!!!! It was sooooo darn good. If you want some good eats and drinks with a beautiful view hit up Crimson Saturday and Sunday 12pm-3pm

Dhruv Jaiswal: Great whiskey bar in the heart of DC ! A must try if you love whiskeys, they have all kinds of collections from all sorts for regions in the country and world ! The food is great as well ! Do try out the place and the rooftop in the great weather

Hard Rock Cafe: what do users think?

Kelvin Ofula: A typical Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. Strategically positioned. Loved the interior deco and their food. The staff were once again as amazing as always and very helpful. The lady at the souvenir shop was very very helpful and friendly. I loved every single bit here. The ambiance was great and so was the music. Hard Rock is just pure positive vibrations and I always try to visit one when in an area with one. I would totally recommend.

Matt Daniel: A classic Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. A great layout within what appears to be a old fashioned restaurant or bar. The rock n roll decor is seamlessly integrated into the Art Deco along the walls. The staff were very hospitable and I recommend making a reservation as you can ask for better seating up stairs or in the back. There was one tv above the bar featuring music videos of various famous rock n roll bands. The pricing was reasonable for the area and the options for food were good with large portions. I’d recommend to stop by if you haven’t been, hope this helps!

Yogis Dogie: Nice place to visit in DC. Extremely busy but very nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food is very mediocre. Looks great, tastes bland and almost always served cool or cold. The hamburgers have an odd seasoning in them that can be off putting. Fries are good but the portion is pretty small (in relation to the price). The gift shop is well stocked. The rewards program changes its guidelines too frequently and dumps points out too often to be useful. Basically, it’s a nice place to visit, but one visit is plenty.

Bailey Alexander: This was my third time eating at this particular Hard Rock Cafe! This location really stands out. It’s in the heart of the city so it’s really nice to tour monuments an things and then ride electric scooters to here and park them. Then you can relax and unwind, ride scooters back around to tour more things in DC. The food is always very flavorful and good. The drinks are always perfect. This location has an excellent modern style with lots of arts and things on the walls. I highly recommend checking this place out while in DC.

David Arrimadas: Very good Hard Rock restaurant. I have been in lot of them all over the world and this is a very good one. I love the open kitchen concept and the kindness of all the staff. The brownie is delicious and soooo big. Difficult to finish it even when sharing!

WorldofDaph: I try to go to hard rock in every city I visit and usually it is a pleasant experience but not today. I came to this location and sat down in the bar area waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to take a drink order. Considering how tired and hungry I was I had no energy to even leave. One of he waitresses at the bar looked at me and my fiancé multiple times and never came over. She was behind the bar scratching her back under her shirt and didn’t even wash her hands. When she finally came to our table she pulled out her cellphone to text someone. Having been a service manager in restaurant for years I was completely dumbfounded at the disrespect. I’m a pretty mild mannered fair person but this Waitress was awful. I will say the kitchen staff was doing a great job. They were pushing food out but the servers just weren’t running food which caused it to just sit in the window. The receipt said the waitress name was Sara. All I know is Sara needs to be demoted to hostess or let go. Upon leaving I brought these things to the managers attention but I could tell she didn’t really care. She offered to give me her card. That’s won’t do much at all. I watch the manager stand on the expo line and watch plates die in the window. Saturdays can be quite tough and she was probably tired and over it herself. All in all I will never return to this location.

Rachel Cook: We had a very large group with reservations. They were not prepared. Some of the staff was great, but others were not. The food, for those who actually got food, was mediocre. If this continues, the DC Hard Rock will suffer the same fate as others around the country...permanently closed. It is disappointing 😞

Le Diplomate: what do users think?

Thang Phu: Highly recommended! We stopped by for a late afternoon food one day and was amazed at how fantastic the food is. It was all so good, especially their desserts. I have travelled to multiple regions in France and I can attest the food here tastes the closest to food in France. They even have a wine carafe on the menu, just like France. I wished I lived near here so I could go treat myself now and then.

mike wittenburg: Five Stars for the food and the atmosphere. Visited on a busy Saturday evening and got a table without a reservation, amazing. So much seating available. Indoor and outdoor seating. Went with a couple of friends and the drinks and food were fabulous. Tuna dish is a small serving. Trout was great and the muscles were awesome. Apple dessert and vanilla creme brulee delicious. Definitely a popular spot. And the bread... So much bread... Good variety of bread to choose from. Enjoy!

Daae Katsicoyannis: The meal was incredible. I recommend going with friends and sharing everything. The service was also impeccable. You can tell that all ingredients at this restaurant are fresh and of excellent quality. It’s rare to find such an approachable restaurant of this league. I would recommend to anyone.

brian perkins: Loved this place for a few reasons. Let’s start with the bread. Why can’t all restaurants serve great, fresh, delicious bread? Because it’s not easy. I pictured the empty escargot plate because after dipping the bread in the garlic sauce it was game over. Add onion soup, superb steak frites, profiteroles to die for and you have a neighborhood gem. Not to mention the wait staff gives treats to dogs being walked by the restaurants. How great is that?!

Rob: The food and ambiance are always great. However, on multiple occasions, I’ve felt that the service is not what you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Last time I felt a bit rushed and the service, while attentive, was curt. When our entrees arrived, a waiter couldn’t fully reach to place my friend’s plate in front of him. Rather then walk around the table (there was space), the waiter placed it on the table and gave the plate a quick flick of the wrist to push it over. It’s a small example but I think captures a similar sentiment seen in other reviews about the service.

Karissa Warren: Had an awesome food experience on New Years! Was a little disappointed they didn’t have their usual pastry assortment but every single item we got was delicious!! We really came for the pastries and croissants but were blown away by the food! If you want an authentic French croissant, they’ve got you covered! We will definitely be back!

Dee Ketterman: We’ve eaten here twice and love the food and decor. The feel of the restaurant more resembles an upscale bar with delicious food, as most people are standing and drinking rather than eating. I’d like to try sitting at the bar because I think it’d be a better experience to fit the atmosphere over a low table with people standing all around. The mushroom tart is fantastic and the French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had! The service was dressed appropriately but less attentive than expected, most likely because of how busy it seems to get. Regardless, I really like the food and hope to visit again soon.

Bibiana Oe: Very cute upscale dining experience! The waiter had many recommendations that were appealing. The bread with the butter is amazing! Ordered assorted oysters, mushroom tart, beef bourguignon, mussels and frites, and the profiteroles. Loved everything and it was good portions! Recommend for a lovely cozy dining in experience since the bar and inside of the restaurant is super unique!

Calico: what do users think?

Rachele Clegg: I was super excited to try this spot for cocktails and was extra disappointed. My friends and I ordered one round of drinks and all three of them were downright terrible. There are so many other spots in Blagden and the surrounding neighborhood that are better than this. The one saving grace was the service — 10/10 even though the place was completely packed out and even their door guy left a great impression. Hoping to return once the cocktail menu is revamped!!

cassandra bierworth: Fun place to hang out with friends. Ordering drinks was super easy using the QR code and they were super tasty. Loved sitting under the lights in the bird cage section!

Lydia L: Love the atmosphere here, the friendly staff, and the tomato pie (though, all the food is good.)

Ryan Brubaker: Very hipster. Great food. Hard to find restaurant off of an alley. But the alley is very well-lit and safe. The food is made from scratch and unique. Check out the tots and the meatloaf pictures I provided here. They were both amazing. Did I mention the place is hipster? Even the wine glass fits the bearded hipster that handed it to me. :-)

Nina R: Went here for the first time for drinks w my new coworkers and can I just say, Billy the bartenders service was out of this world he’s so friendly and nice and conversational, it was really nice to feel so welcomed into the city and also enjoy the great outdoor atmosphere. Thank you!

Stephanie Carter: Really fun bar / restaurant! Cocktails are a bit sweet, but beer is good and vibe is on point. They have really cute outdoor and indoor areas with ivy growing all over the place. Have a solid happy hour special, but it gets really crowded on even weekdays if the weather is nice! Food was okay, but pretty affordable and def worth it for this unique experience!

Laura Carlson: i basically live here. indoor and outdoor space, super friendly bartenders and great drinks. good for whatever, from big gatherings to a date ✨

Hi-Lawn: what do users think?

NYALA WALKER: TERRIFIC ATMOSPHERE & GREAT VIEWS!! However, there is little variety in terms of food and what they do offer (fish burger 🍔 and lobster roll with chips) is just okay! Service was slow and the ordering app was a bit tricky! You also have to drink the alcohol they sell on the rooftop (sneak in your own booz if possible!! My advice would be SKIP Hi Lawn Just enjoy the general seating on the rooftop and get food from Union Market downstairs!

Ruth McDermott: DJ was good and bar staff lovely. However, $17 for one plastic cup of wine was a rip off! Will not be going back. Better off spending your $15 getting to Georgetown.

Binky T: Not bad. Good vibez nice atmosphere. They had places to sit which was nice. The reason why I gave it four stars is for the food. I would recommend eating somewhere else unless you are okay with paying $10 and up for a hotdog.

Jay T: Most of their drinks were sold out at 8pm on a Saturday, forced service charge, and they kicked us out because a group had “dibs” on the table, despite having been away from the table for 30 minutes. There are much better places near Union Market.

Mohammad Islam: Good rooftop restaurant for hangout with family.

Parker Kelley: Very cute and aesthetic place to visit. It wasn’t very busy when we went, but definitely seemed like it would be a great place to go during the day on a weekend.

Dacian Reece-Stremțan: Fun place to hang out with friends and have a cup of wine. The food ordering process is different than getting a drink, which for a first time visitor can be weird. The outdoor chess set is fun to use, but it is missing the extra queens and two squares. Overall we had a good time there. Would definitely go again.

Keely Norris: Really nice bartender. Wish I would’ve gotten their name (buzzed hair, tall) that let us know gratuity was included but deserved an extra tip anyway. Drinks are a little pricey but what you’d expect for a rooftop bar in DC. We had 4 different ones and they were all good though! Plenty of space and good music too.

Chicken + Whiskey: what do users think?

Madhusha Sarathchandra: Not worth the money you spend.... First time I have been here. First of all, menu was a little confusing. Took us a few mins to figure it out. Then they got my order wrong. Asked for a wrap and they made a wrap but nit the one I asked for and didnt notice it untill I pay for it. I have tried a lot of pollo chicken places around and I cant rank the food taste in the top when compare it with other Pollo resturants. Thats why I said this place is not worth the money. Then the sides. Got the Yuca as side and they served 5 pieces(counted) of yuca for $4. Whiskey and beer including cocktails is a nice touch. I wonder how they have this kmuch higher ratings. Surprising.... 2 stars for the cleanliness and quick service. Would not visit again and not recommending....

Marcus R.: This spot surprised me. I was walking by, and happened to see this out of the corner of my eye. My left-eye--R.I.P. As an out of towner, it was worth a visit. The food was good. Better than most spots that serve Spanish-style food, as this location put the effort in both presentation AND taste.

Victor: I ordered the quarter chicken meal which comes with two sides. I came for lunch take out, it was pretty quiet here. The chicken was not warm and the rice was not as moist. I did like the seasonings on the rice and yuca. The sauce here is a 5/5. The sauce is what got me through this meal.

Lucy Ruderman: Really tasty chicken, sides, and sauces. Everything we tried was delicious and I feel like you can’t go wrong. Two of us shared a half chicken (comes with two sides) plus a third side and felt like that was enough.

Amy Chai: We went on a Thursday happy hour and it was very very dead, just us and another couple, but i liked a calmer vibe. the bar is located at the back of the chicken restaurant (thru a walk in freezer door) which has amazing food. the bar itself is pretty small but the decorations and lights are so cute.

David Login: Overall GOOD experience and great drinks. Environment in the back has cool mood lighting and mixed drinks are legit. Good social mix of girls and guys. Bartenders were fun and approachable. Only four out of five stars because it gets easily hot and crowded.

A Sullivan: Was excited to try this spot and read good reviews. I ate 2 forkfuls of the chicken and I was done. It wasn’t hot or flavorful. The black beans and rice tasted old. It just didn’t meet my expectations at all, very disappointed. I won’t be going back or recommending.

Jaymee McGraw: The food is delicious! The chicken is moist tender and flavorful. The soupa was just the right amount of spicy and had amazing flavors. I love cilantro and if I was a local I would be a regular at this restaurant.

Estadio: what do users think?

Hanna Ozbeki: came here for brunch and it was great! we did tapas style and it worked out for us even with the larger plates. we got the brussels sprouts, caluflower, patatas bravas , arugula salad, chorizo hash and hanger steak and eggs the star of the brunch were the steak and eggs everything else was good, but the patatas braves were not my favorite compared to everything else on the table service was great! quick, respectful, and mindful of our requests!

Da-Wang Wu: Some dishes are good (e.g., cauliflowers, shishito peppers, shrimps, cheesecake, churros), but others are just okay (e.g., steaks with blue cheese, fried potatoes, mussels). Since it’s tapas style, it’s better to order dishes by batch vs. all at once. Outdoor dining space is available. It can be a bit pricy for a casual Friday dinner.

Shalini: Perfect place for the first in person meeting with my team! The food here is fantastic. I loved the Bomba rice which is a rich but not too heavy and has umami-ness from the mushroom, truffle and manchego cheese. The corn was my next on my list of favorites followed by shishito peppers (decadent pepper aioli on the side), crispy cauliflower which was good. The churros were amazing- they were served with dark chocolate sprinkled with sea salt on the side, were perfectly crispy on the outside soft on the inside and not cloyingly sweet. Good service and recommendations as well!

Genesis Christina: First time eating here and YOU have to go, the ambiance is so welcoming and warm. The food is to die for! Great prices and you are able to try so many different plates because of the sizes! If you are looking for smaller plates snacks you have to go here. If you are a fan of butternut squash, you need to try their butternut squash soup! The customer service was also amazing, our waitress was so sweet and accommodating. 100% recommend!

Martha M. Castro: Food is on point. Food is spectacular and fresh, with plates for every taste. Service is very friendly and very helpful. Drinks exceeded expectations.

Emily Crisan: Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere! Do yourself a favor and get the grilled octopus and the braised short rib! Wonderful dinner and will definitely be back!

Colvin Will Do It: This is such a great restaurant!! The little portions are how I think American portions should be as well. I took my wife out to eat a great dinner and we were not disappointed. It was expensive but we knew that walking in.

Kaylun Draughn: Food and service were impressive. We ordered the octopus, mussels, arugula salad, duck, and crispy pork belly. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out pretty quickly. The churros were good but crispier than I typically like. I can’t wait to go back!

Jacob Fitzpatrick: Estadio has an outstanding menu that is small enough to navigate, but large enough to find something for all tastes. The unique tapas range from vegetarian flavors to unusual meats - but all with roots to Spain (and Basque Country). The vibe is hip and fun, but not overpowering or too loud. A definite DC gem!

Brandon Richardson: Yummy Tapas place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Mask required. The crispy cauliflower and chicken tapas were great! Well seasoned and delicious!

1789 Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?

Stefan Tobler: Absolutely superb. Delicious food, excellent service, warm and cozy dining room. We were a bit under dressed, definitely a sports coat kind of restaurant. If you are looking for a nice meal this is a place I would go back too. Great job 1789.

Andrew Bogdan: Had an excellent time grabbing dinner here! The food was absolutely amazing, and the art on the walls was fun to look at and made for great conversation. I ordered the eggplant and butternut squash soup. It was literally the best soup I have ever had in my life, absolutely amazing. The wine list was excellent as well. Really recommend for a private romantic date night!

Georgia Hensley: We had such a great experience visiting 1789. The food was delicious, the waiters were pleasant and the manager was so knowledgeable. He knew all the history and even about the Exorcist house and steps directly across the street. We enjoyed short ribs and sirloin, my brother in law had the halibut, we also tried the lobster and the octopus starters. They were so good. They even called our cab for us. We will def. return on our next visit to Georgetown. 1789 is located at 126 36 St.NW 20007

Norma Del Carmen: Last night in Georgetown and we wanted to try this Michelin star restaurant as a treat To end our thanksgiving weekend and 1789 Restaurant did not disappoint, it blew our tastes buds away! The butter squash soup we started out with was so amazing that we knew the rest of the dishes would get better and better. Be sure to take a video of how they present the soup…it happened so fast, great presentation. I had the brioche halibut and My tastebuds were just in heaven. Our bellies were full but we still wanted to enjoy the evening w deserts and it did not disappoint as well! Service was excellent ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And the food was delivered quick. This is my new favorite restaurant in Georgetown by far and looking forward to coming back again!

Tucker Jones: Excellent food and fabulous service. Such a great dining experience, one of the best in DC!! Desserts topped off an amazing dinner snd they were off the charts!

Wendy Reynolds: Great food in this restaurant. Staff was very polite and cooperative.

Katie Greener: Food was amazing and perfectly portioned! So much that we had to take home leftovers! Wonderful date night spot. Drinks were phenomenal as well…combinations complimented each other so nicely. We ended our meal with sharing the cheesecake with some coffee and couldn’t have been more satisfied.

Filomena Ristorante: what do users think?

Patrick Young: I loved their Easter decorations! They really went all out and the decorations are more classic too and remind me of better times! Their bread appetizer with olive oil is very tasty and the wait service was impeccable. The waiter misheard my original order, but they quickly corrected it and got me my correct dish. Both of our dishes were delicious and had plenty of sauce. The dessert was scrumptious too! All of these were a reasonable price as well. If you are going out for a date, I highly recommend this place! It’s so far my favorite Italian restaurant in DC!

Jessica Lopez: The restaurant goes all out with seasonal decorations, this time around Easter time. It was a bit strange seeing so many bunnies but at the same time the over decorating is what many Italian grandmas do! Service was decent, not the best. Portions are huge so definitely recommend sharing especially because of the prices. The bread service with the olive oil and spices was delicious, raviolis were great and the eclair was so delicious and creamy, it tasted like profiteroles actually. Definitely recommend coming back.

Laura Ruiz: My husband and me went to Georgetown to celebrate my birthday. We couldn’t make a reservation for dinner, however, we walked in around 3:30 and after a 5 minutes wait we had a table. The experience in this place was unforgettable. It started with three different kinds of homemade bread, follow for fresh appetizers, flavorful entrees, homemade amaretto and finally the best cannoli that we ever had.

Anthony Stewart: Spacious, friendly and really amazing fare. The host was magnanimous and his larger-than-life personality makes one feel welcome and as though the food will be authentically Italian, and the staff do not disappoint. The bread and pesto were brilliant, as were the stuffed mushroom starters. The main courses tasted amazing and arrived at our table in good time, allowing us the opportunity to experience how the meal tasted at all stages of temperature. Really great experience and one that makes one want to return again and again (and I’ll be happy to oblige). Unfortunately, a cupcake bakery not too far away got the better of our appetites before we dined at Filomena, so dessert was not on our menu for the afternoon’s meal, but next time! 5/5 well-deserved stars!

Inma Guerrero: We loved this crazy place. Uber decorated with Christmas things and on the expensive side. The pasta plates are huge, I guess you are supposed to share them and the chocolate cake super decadent. Great service too!

Wunder Garten: what do users think?

Darla Lehnert: It was a hidden gem. The private cabanas with outside heaters are super cool. the ability to svan a QR Code and have your drinks brought to you in just a min or two as well as Cali Burger and another food truck to choose from. I went on a Tbursday to play Drag Queen Bingo and had the best time. The show was fantastic and the Bingo games were hilarious. The prizes were shots and flare the girls brought for everyone.

India Lindsay: A solid day drinking spot to spend the day. Brightly decorated with fun colors. Have 2 food trucks on site. Plenty of seating. We went on a rainy evening and they had enough covered areas to seat everyone. Cocktails are all fairly sweet and about $14. I asked the bartender to half the simple syrup and they were very friendly and accompanying.

Dianne Maglaque: Went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was packed! We were able to find seating after a few laps around the place. We had a great time and even a plus is that they are dog friendly. The brats from CaliBurger were amazing as well.

Wyatt Benson: As my first time to a biergarten, this was impressive though a bit haphazard owing to its pop-up origins. Drinks were varied and good, service was prompt, food was excellent. Try and reserve a cabana ahead of time for the best experience.

Austin von Heeringen: Crystal and Katrina put on the best Sunday drag show in the DC area. It’s hands down the best part of this establishment. Sad to hear they are only once a month instead of every Sunday this summer. 10/10 recommend.

Christine West: Great outdoor space with really great food truck options rotating through! And So. Many. Dogs!

Equinox Restaurant: what do users think?

Joshua Wiley: Went here for one of my many birthday dinners. As a new vegetarian this place definitely had a menu with me in mind. I was stuffed when I left. We had the menu with five courses and enjoyed every single one of them. Amazing. Would definitely go again, don’t know the price because i didn’t pay. 😇

Archana Raju: This place has been on my must try restaurants list forever, and finally made it on my birthday. We tried the five course meal. While each dish was carefully thought through and well presented, I think the beet salad didn’t really work (it was bitter) and grilled eggplant was a bit bland. Though I don’t typically enjoy mushrooms as much, I was blown by the Hen of mushrooms dish, and absolute winner. Overall, I would recommend this place!

Sunny Sanghani: Enjoyed the vegan brunch menu; lots of food and all tasted great.

Angela Su: We came for restaurant week and it was a great deal! Loved the plant based options. We had to wait 15 min for our table after we arrived on time for our reservation but it was worth it once we were seated. The mushroom dish was delicious and the portions for all courses were huge. Definitely ended the meal full and satisfied.

Henry Jones: A friend of my family told me ages ago to eat sometime at Equinox. I finally did this evening and am so glad. I had the truffled macaroni and cheese to begin, which was served in a mini cast iron vessel and tasted of cheese and herbs in a way that I could never achieve at home. Then I had the fennel-spiced Mediterranean turbot filet. The staff were very proud of the turbot—one saw it as he walked past and said, “oh you ordered the turbot,” with a big smile. If I were on the staff of a place that served food like this, I would be very proud, too. The turbot was meaty, slightly flaky, and golden on top. It was served on a bed of spinach, a carrot, roasted heart of palm, and braised endive, and there was an orange sauce. It was garnished with fried rings which I think were potatoes and there were red berries, too. I was there for an early dinner, having planned for a long afternoon at the National Gallery followed by early dinner before the final leg of a train trip from NYC to Virginia. The staff made sure the timing was right for me to get to the train and that I knew how to get to Union Station. What thoughtful people and exquisite food. I can hardly wait to eat at Equinox again.

Celal Gulluoglu: Fine dining? Please first repair the failing of the bathroom. Service was below average. They were carrying the beverage with their bare hands and holding the soup bowls on top of the bowls. Not even under it. Automatically added gratuity which is not written at anywhere. Full price charge for the kids under 10 years old? Tasting brunch menu was definitely not worth the price. Desserts were horrible. They were literally sliced protein bar, store bought mini cupcakes and coconut bites and they call it Brandi’s assorted desserts. Felt like scammed. Will never return 👎

The Girls: The zero-waste concept sounds great but didn’t see it happening within the menu. The apps and first courses were better than the main dishes. The dust devil drink is fab. Oddly, many of the plants were plastic. And the chairs stored in the ladies’ room makes it NOT wheelchair accessible. The kind and attentive servers were grand.

Gravitas: what do users think?

Saud Anam: Underwhelming. Poor pacing - 5 course meal took about 3 hours. Good service, extremely slow kitchen. For the Michelin star and the price, food expected should be better. Other similarly priced and recognized restaurants delivered better food and experience. Bill including 5 course tasting menu, caviar course, drinks for 2 people - $610 including tip. At 305 per person, the food and experience should be stellar, not poorly paced and mediocre.

Silvia Noelia: The service was exquisite!! 💕 Celebrated my dad’s birthday at Gravitas and we received impeccable attention with our waiter and everyone else who was part of our food service! The food was delightful and I would recommend anyone to try their 3 or 5 course meal at Gravitas! Angelo was awesome and everyone made us feel welcomed! Thank you Gravitas for making my dads day special!

Nicholas Miles: my friend brought me here to celebrate my bday. the place is beautiful. the service was fine. my cocktail was delicious. however, i wasn’t overly impressed by the meal in general.

Katherine Lu (Ljumeg): The only thing impressed me was that I had a shell in my dish that I found it in my mouth. [see pic 7] I told the mixologist about the shell he said he was sorry about that. He would check the kitchen. That was it. So I guess a apology is enough for a shell which should not be in your dish and might hurt you in a Michelin restaurant? I had this dinner last month, I try to understand why this happened like this, think should I write it down here? yap after a month still feel unbelievable.

Maxine Segarnick Keefe: My husband and I arrived on time for our reservation in the main dining room. We then sat for over 20 minutes without anyone stopping at our table. I was baffled to wait this long for a server to welcome us or take drink orders -- especially at a Michelin starred restaurant. Eventually, a waiter came by and asked how we were doing and seemed genuinely surprised that no one had helped us yet. I understand restaurants get busy (tables were almost full), but this is not the service I would expect at this price point and with a star. Disappointing start. The service was better once we placed our orders, and the staff was friendly. The food was very tasty and creative, but we walked away feeling less than full -- I have felt fuller and much better cared for at other similarly priced and recognized restaurants in the area.

Lily Pitha: The food was fantastic and imaginative. From the first course to the last everything was delicious. The wait staff were completely perfect. We had the special experience of sitting at the kitchen and getting a menu chosen by the chefs. In addition to the great food we also saw how the kitchen ran and time and effort put into plating and presentation. Would absolutely recommend!

Roofers Union: what do users think?

Jesse P: We went on a Friday night when it was very busy at surrounding restaurants and bars. To my surprise we got in immediately and sat right away. We had a nice window seat and could look down and see the street and nightlife. The online ordering system was easy to navigate. After ordering drinks, they were almost instantly brought out. The food soon came and was piping hot. The burger was delicious and cooked to the perfect medium rare. Great vibes and service. Huge drink selection including draft beer.

james firsick: Staff kicked myself and my girlfriend out after one drink. Her drink was too strong and spit some out due to that and we we’re promptly escorted out for no reason. Drinks are very mediocre and over priced. Your money can be spent much better in DC.

Anica Landreneau: Everything you loved about the Reef without the aquariums. I have great memories of the rooftop bar from when i moved to DC 17 years ago. The roof is still one of the greatest spots in Adams Morgan for a drink with a view.

Michael William Majorczak: Amazing Place. Sunday Brunch. It’s called a Hot Mess. Man was it good. Fried Egg over a boneless chicken thigh over potatoes with sausage gravy! The Bloody Mary was excellent and an awesome beer menu with some great craft sour Beers.

L B: 75 minute time limit is insane even with COVID. 120 minutes is reasonable for limit. Also, food and drinks all came in plastic and one-use plastic silverware/paper plates was not ok for the high prices. It’s also very poor for the environment. Additionally, requiring one food item per guest is not reasonable as some guests could just get two drinks for the same price.

Julia Sellers: Went to Roofer’s Union for brunch. My two friends did bottomless and I got a coffee. Our server come by often to refill my friends drinks, but not once asked me or refilled my coffee and left us waiting for him for about 15 minutes after we got the checks. The eggs Benedict was good, but the brunch menu is pretty limiting unless you want everything fried and greasy. They also ran out of OJ- a cardinal sin for a Sunday brunch in DC. Probably not returning any time soon.

Peter Fernandez: Hip 2nd floor place in Adams Morgan. Very bright with great views of the neighborhood out of floor to ceiling windows. Service is friendly and prompt. Bloody Marys were tasty, food was very good.
