Pavilion Café: what do users think?

Duo Yboe: Really great food! There was a long wait during rush hour on a weekend but it is normal. I highly recommend the Chicken Flatbread, it was amazing! Outside it was really hot, but the view was great. You can also sit inside the restaurant. I am probably in the background of some peoples photos while they were taking pics of that tree lol

Carole Klaue: It was the only place open near the museums that is not a food truck. The meal is box salads and sandwiches. Very good large size. Also, carbonated drinks and beer. Indoor and outside seating. Nice fountains with modern art right by it and lots of concrete seats around the water to eat your food. It closes at 4 pm and opens at 11 am. Love the structure of the building and no masks needed.

Hilda Kroll: A great place to have a cup of coffee or snack and look out at the sculpture garden and fountain or just watch all the people happy to be out on a beautiful day.

Jon Carr: Best food of the trip, loved the flatbread and the Caprese sandwich!

Clarice Allen: could be better. cleaner. the food is ok. but I loved the workers! and the ice rink right outside really makes this Cafe special. could be better tasting ,fresher and cheaper food though.

Bill Schauman: These days you order and pay outside first, then, if you have opted for inside dining, you enter and take a seat at one of the few tables. In a few minutes a nice person brings your order to your table. It’s all okay, but it will be more fun when this accursed pandemic is over.

Dacha Beer Garden (Shaw): what do users think?

Avinash Maniam: Good place, great veggie burger and amazing fries. Little more expensive than I expected but it was a nice time. Have to talk a bit loudly but that’s to be expected in a bustling place on a Thursday night. Would recommend. Also, clean bathrooms.

Preston Edge: Great beer, great atmosphere. Excellent service despite being packed! Several Weihenstephaner’s to choose from. Appetizers (fries and fried pickles) were delicious and came with a delicious curry ketchup.

Johnny “Johnny's good life tips” Even: Amazing placeGreat vibeLathe verity of beersGreat German bar food

Vanessa Phillips: Dacha was so cute! Outside, but under gigantic tents with lots of fans. I tried the Duclaw and would recommend it. My friend and I enjoyed our food, the atmosphere, and the service. Lots of dogs. Be aware of the blanket service fee though!

Ryan Boucher: Good atmosphere, but overall pricey bar food. The beer is German but do not expect any German food. Good place overall.

Jamila Jenkins: Great place to bring your dog and try different beers, even hard liquor drinks and tasty food. Can get kind of pricey and crowded if you don’t come early enough. All the staff was very friendly.

Nilanjan Chatterjee: Food and ambience is great! But the new 15% fair-wage fee is ridiculous! We are paying for food and drinks and also tipping for service. The onus of salary and fair wage should be on employers not patrons! Shady practice! Not visiting again!

Garden Cafe: what do users think?

Alli Will: Tried to order the Greek salad with no feta cheese (I don’t eat dairy) and they said they can’t do that because it’s already made so I settled for a fruit cup. Then I ordered a cold brew (on their menu), they didn’t have cold brew. So I ordered a latte with oat milk. They don’t have oat milk available (also was on their menu). So I settle for a soy milk latte. When I receive my coffee the barista told me she used almond milk because she only had a small amount of soy milk at the bar, I told her I asked for oat or soy, not almond (preference) and almond isn’t even on there menu. She had to get a fresh carton of soy milk and remade my latte with the correct milk, which was fine. It was a lot of huff and puff for just trying to get a quick snack/bite while visiting the museums. It also cost $34 for a small latte, 2 sparkling waters, fruit cup and a small Turkey sandwich. I think they should update their menu or try to have their menu items in stock, because I went during the week and it was not busy at all. Can’t imagine it during the weekends or summer!

c matzi: The S L O W E S T cashier in the HISTORY of cashiers. Incredibly painful. Management... this is NOT the right seat on the bus for the woman cashier on 4/5 @ 3:22 pm. Over 20 minutes for 5 people... total... and the line is now three times as long. Clearly being profitable is not a priority here.

hadrien lessard: Ordered a hot chocolate. Waited 20min. They gave me hot milk. I went to back to them to tell them to add some chocolate and the lady poured half a cup of Hershey chocolate syrup. My “hot chocolate” turned out to be undrinkable.

Greg Johnston: Sandwiches were good (especially the Cubano). This is a great option if you need a bite while planning your trip around the gallery.

Rana (Dream): The worst cafe ever th flat taste like nothing the croissant was cold and not fresh

Garden Cafe: what do users think?

Peter Li: Great American style food with friendly service. Big size.

Devar sher: Food was nice, the waitress was was really kind

Eleodor Sotropa: Excellent stop to have lunch while visiting the National Mall museums. We ate here a few times, and always the food and the service were excellent.

Kate K: I feel like I have to share my feedback to help anyone that considers reviews before making a decision on where to eat. The food was THE WORST. We ordered an appetizer (hummus) and entrees (ramen) and there was ZERO taste to the point where we couldn’t force ourselves to eat the food. Our service was okay, although she didn’t notice we barely touched the food. We paid for it since we ordered it but I would NEVER eat there again. If you are considering anywhere else.... pay for the Uber and go there. Hotel was nice so this is only a reflection of the dinner. :-(

Petra Kirchmaier: Every meal absolutely delicious. Service was prompt, thoughtful and pleasant. We could not have thought more highly than we did of the staff. Our service was impeccable and engaging. This restaurant enhanced our stay.

Erriss Ho: This restaurant is a good place for food but the service is terrible. My friends and I spent more than an hour for two dishes (risotto and half pork half chicken), while there were just a few tables of customers during the time. People around us at the restaurant including some came later than us were having food but we were told by the waitress that "your food will be delayed" without giving any reasons. So we just sat there for an hour served with some bread and saw everyone in the restaurant leaving. One more thing add, the waitress also made a wrong order of a dish which costs around 8 dollars more. (We just paid and left) Sincere suggestion: Never come to this place if you do not expect at least 60 minutes wait without reasons from them.

NM H: Enjoyed an excellent lunch in October. Salmon was perfect as was the salad. Everything was fresh. I did note it is not a convenient place for baby strollers due to garden tables and chairs snuggly placed. It was a pleasurable experience to have before seeing the collections.

Bob Hardwick: This place was nice and quite, we had the cafe all to ourself when all others were crowded. Large portions reasonably priced for DC. Chicken Caesar and Turkey Club was pretty good. Had to go through hotel at 9:00 PM, but it was worth it. Waitress was polite and courteous. Dinning room was cool and elegant.

Schedule: Closed ⋅ Opens 5PM

Business type: Barbecue restaurant

garden district: what do users think?

Britt Van: Garden District always delivers: consistently excellent food, beer, wine, service, and atmosphere. Also very dog-friendly. They serve up some of the best BBQ around. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but their fried chicken sandwich is phenomenal (a constant craving). They have a thoughtful, intriguing, well-balanced offering of beer, and perhaps unexpectedly, a delightful and unique selection of wine, and they make an effort to secure some limited releases and other special, novel, or somewhat rare items. You can also find cider, liquor (including some approachable, good bourbon), hard seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages on the menu. GD are good people: the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and on top of it, and provide excellent, no-frills service that keeps the food and drink moving and the vibe laid back. They give a damn about their business and about you. Also, even at their busiest, the bathrooms are clean and stocked, which is a testament to their diligence and care. With the prime location, ample outdoor space, and wide appeal of beer garden fare, GD doesn’t have to go as hard as it does. Garden District would be my go-to spot just from the dependably excellent food, drink, and convenience alone, but above all, it is their diligent and friendly staff and the easy, convivial environment they work so hard to provide that keeps me (and basically everyone I know) coming back. That, and my apparent addiction to their fried chicken.

Shankar Kulumani: Great beer garden in heart of 14th Street. Lots of outdoor seating. Very fast service. Pretzels and burgers are great. 1L beers are reasonably priced as well

Hector Pavon: Small place with sort of a garage feeling to it; DC prices, no wifi. Pretzel was great!

Denise Nunez: garden district was a little place I found as I was roaming the DC area. We’re from NY, so we were so pleased to find GREAT, AUTHENTIC southern BBQ. we had the brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese & onion rings. 10/10. Also had some double shot drinks🍺 great vibes, and atmosphere. will be coming back next time 😁👏🏼

Sequoia DC: what do users think?

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Café Riggs: what do users think?

R. Michael Burns: The pancakes I had here were perhaps the best I have ever eaten, due in large part to the lavender honey butter, a truly unique flavor that I absolutely loved. The pancakes themselves were large and lovely -- fluffy inside, nicely caramelized on the outside. A bit pricey, but worth every penny and then some. I was less in love with the Italian chicken sausage, which was a bit dense and ever-so-slightly gamey somehow. Not bad, really, but based on the pancakes I expected better. I also wish they had a greater variety of non-alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere has a sort of old-school elegance with some really nice art deco accents and high, molded ceilings with large windows, giving the place a nice openness and making it a very nice spot for a fancy-but-not-too-fancy breakfast.

Muniba Khan: My friend and I came to Cafe Riggs on a Monday night while we were in from out of town. We were able to book a same day reservation, which was really convenient. The place is really elegant and beautiful, and the service was also stellar. I got the salmon and my friend got the halibut and both were incredibly delicious! We also got the cherry blossom sundae from the seasonal dessert menu and it was really great! I only wish that it had more cherry blossom and less vanilla. My friend tried some of their drinks- they had a special on Martinis for Monday, so she tried the three minis and said her favorite by far was the Vesper. Also, there was a cherry blossom vermouth cocktail off the dessert specials menu that she really liked.

Food Enthusiast: Gorgeous place! I tried the happy hour menu, the drinks were very good and the bartender was a very kind and thoughtful man. If you want to bring a friend to a beautiful place with great ambiance and good food/drinks, look no further! I will definitely come back to try their breakfast menu.

Bethany: Beautiful and delicious experience. This place was amazing. I had the Cafe Royale? It was eggs benedict with smoked salmon and it was absolutely perfect. It was more expensive than I would normally go for for breakfast but it was so good I would do it again. The room was beautiful, the tables were very modern and chic and the food was delicious.

harrisonaslami: Honestly the atmosphere alone is to die for. Went for an early lunch/late brunch on a Thursday. Was seated immediately - lots of seating. Ordered drinks and food and all of it arrived to the table within 5 minutes, presented well with fresh ingredients. Not exactly cheap but not outlandishly priced. Great service. Will come here at least once every time I visit.

Erica Ortiz: This transformed bank space wows with decor, satisfies with food, and stuns with service. The menu could benefit from more raw bar selections, or light fare for after work and happy hour crowds (dinner starts at 5:30), and some additional entree selections. That said, everything I have had here has been delicious and straightforward. A great place for a business lunch, or cocktail hour.

Adam Riemer: Ok TL:DR top ten French fries in the country. They’re right up there with the potato pillows at Arnauds in New Orleans. That’s why five stars instead of three and a half. The fries are crispy on the outside, salted perfectly and melt in your mouth. The server and hostess are incredibly fun and friendly. They’re also professional. Once small issue we had is that we wanted to use our coupon from open table, but it didn’t work because I messed up the date. I asked the hostess if I could rebook but she said it would be fine and was more in a hurry to listen, she just wanted to seat us. To be fair she genuinely didn’t understand why I wanted to rebook, but it’s no big deal. She did her job and when I requested a different table she was very professional and made it happen. She was fantastic, friendly and wonderful. It would have been nice to use the coupon though. I fully enjoyed the Cabernet Merlot blend from Markham and my friend thought the Rose was good. He likes sweet wines and they don’t have any, including in the sparkling section so this was a great alternative. The mussels were delicious, but the fries are the show stopper. My burger came out dry and overcooked to the point where I shoveled it all down as quick as possible so I could just get through it. The lobster ravioli was over cooked and tough. But it is what it is. I would absolutely recommend this place based on the atmosphere, fries and cocktails for a business happy hour or networking event. The atmosphere is perfect for date night, but the food wasn’t prepared right so I would not go here for an actual date. It was likely just an off day. If you’re looking for a bachelorette party, brunch spot or drinks with the girls, this is a definite yes!!!

Iron Gate Restaurant: what do users think?

thomas green: I absolutely loved my experience at Iron Gate last night. This was my first time dining here and I was blown away by the ambiance, service, quality of food and overall amazing location. I would absolutely recommend this as a special or romantic dinner location.

Saeed Mohebbi: Amazing service by John and even better food. The drinks were amazing and the food was absolutely incredible. We went for brunch and we were not disappointed. We can’t wait to come back for dinner. This is a must visit!

Alex Lewis: Went there for a group event. Absolutely amazing food and staff. We had the three course meal and they were hyper conscious about food restrictions and accommodated accordingly. Staff was also super personal and continuously checked on us to make sure everything was taken care of. Also highly recommend their outdoor eating option. It was very warm and beautiful. Cannot wait to come back...

Madelon Christiaanse: Great food. Cute location. The chefs menu is actually a great value for money, you get so much food (come hungry)! We loved everything. We requested veg and they brought out fish twice, so that was a mix up.. they were apologetic.

Bianca: This spot has me gasping for air! Last night a GF and I were on the prowl for evening dinner and stumbled upon this enchanting establishment. After passing this spot up for another restaurant up the block, we decided to come back after being mesmerized by the dessert menu. I ordered the Strawberry-Rose Semifreddo, and my pal ordered the Ode to the Opera. Both were divine, and the staff were charming. We felt like we were in a fairytale, how the team engaged with us and how well the food tasted. I am excited for my reservation later next month!

Belga Cafe: what do users think?

Renee Ethier: Had a great brunch here! Everything was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised how good the pulled pork was in the cornbread waffle entree. The restaurant itself is very cute and has indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great - the food came out very quickly. Would definitely go back.

Ray Moreno: I have eaten here more than two dozen times mostly though it’s become my weekend early breakfast routine. I’ve had 80% of the breakfast/brunch menu items & am never disappointed. The waffles are amazing ( what you’d expect from a Belgium restaurant), the mushroom toast is so well seasoned snd a delight. The green eggs a really nice twist & I could go on… I loved the poached eggs with salmon and if you’re looking for traditional American you can get it there too. I’ve also had the Flemish stew and mussels. The stew is extremely flavorful (a top notch culinary experience) and who can go wrong with a mussels in a white wine, garlic butter sauce with plenty of herbs to add the “wow” to the flavor. I am not a drinker but I did enjoy a really nice glass of Cabernet with the stew and it was an incredible match. They have a wide selection of wines. Overall if your looking for wonderful food experience, you’ll have it here. The service is also always great and Omar is my go to server. He adds a nice mix of professionalism/home style treatment. Amongst the best DC spots!

Alexander O'Neill: Eastern market is such a great place for food. Belga is one of neighborhoods more upscale haunts with a great selection of Flemish and French dishes. You can’t go wrong with the entrees though you may have more fun splitting a few of their many apps. The cocktails are also delicious!

Brigitta Danyi: The coddled egg in the bokaal! That was my order on the picture ! First time I had brunch in Belgian restaurant ! The place was full, then the owner come to welcomes us and try to find a table where we all can seat down. After a min. we was at the bar what we don’t mind. People very friendly there, I was surprised food arrived soon fresh hot and yummy . (We all order different brunch) Coffee latte was great then I saw the lady at the bar made the Bloody Mary so my friend order for us too! If you are in DC we definitely recommend this place ! See you, and thanks for the excellent service!

Mark Orebiyi: My girlfriend planned this extravagant day for her and I and it included Brunch at Belga Cafe (which is from 11am-3pm on the weekend). The restaurant fits a descent amount of people. Their drinks are awesome, I recommend the Bellini and B’Mimosa. Their service was great. I had the Lamb and Chorizo Burger and my girlfriend had the Fried Chicken and Waffles. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Mehmet Esen: Great atmosphere for brunch! The waffles were delicious. No wonder the place was packed. We will return when the weather is better to enjoy sitting outside.

Anna V (Chapacatt): To keep it short, the cafe is good but overpriced for what it is. It was nearly 18$ for an avocado toast and an over dressed “side salad”. While the staff and outdoor seating are nice, the price was just not worth it. For 18$ I would have expected even better service, higher quality ingredients, better coffee, and an atmosphere more conducive of a cafe (blasting the top 40 at a cafe just isn’t the vibe). The toast was very “instagramable”, but I would have preferred something with more flavor.

Dwayne Thomson: Streetside seating is charming, and the menu has many options. Not sure how much of it is authentic Belgian, but the venison tomahawks were fantastic. Would have enjoyed the drinks options to reflect the Belgian theme too, but the house cocktails, more Heartland-American than anything else (mulled wine, apple cider, bourbon), were quite decent.

Peacock Café: what do users think?

Diana Needle: My Husband and I were looking for a place to have a breakfast and we found this place as a surprise! The food was great and the Cappuccino also! It was was a great experience! The staff was so nice! And wasn’t overpriced at all! We certainly want to go back!

Coraline: Fabulous experience! The service was fantastic. The food was beautifully plated and packed with delicious flavors. Our adult beverages were equally as enjoyable. The vibe was upbeat with an energetic atmosphere.

Samar Al Kobrossy: Must go-to place. The food is very delicious!!! The mimosa is delicious. We ordered the peacock egg benedict and I loved it, even though one egg was not poached right. The Peacock omelet was really good. The service was very good.

Liang Huang: We walked in on Sunday morning, the host was very warm and friendly, and was able to seat us for brunch. The foods were delicious. Thank you.

Jessica Henderson: My friend and I went here today for Sunday brunch. We were able to walk in and we were seated right away. The employees were really nice. I ordered an egg white omelette and French toast. It was delicious. I even loved the chilled orange juice drink. I recommend Peacock Cafe & I will probably return in the future!

Brianne Fischer: The staff were very warm and great hosts. The ambiance was nice and the food was good. I loved the gluten free cinnamon raisin French toast, but I had to order an extra side of scrambled. The steak and egg was cooked well. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Melanie M: Our new favorite restaurant!! Had the pleasure of dining at Peacock Cafe in Georgetown a few times and it has quickly become our favorite spot. The food is incredible, beautiful aesthetic and ambiance, great location, and the service is impeccable. We’ve been lucky that Shannon has been there each time we’ve gone. She is so amazing, and honestly the biggest reason we will be back often.

Stacy: Everything was amazingly delicious and the staff were really welcoming and kind. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Amelia Marple: Great dinner! And well priced for the food you get. The dolma appetizers were SO good and had so much flavor! I got the Caesar salad with grilled veggies and it was done very well. We were too full for desert but would definitely return! The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night but we lucked in 6:45pm reservations

Mai Alshahrani: I had late lunch ( ny steak ) by myself and had a wonderful white coco cheesecake since dining by myself is more about that experience on top of the delicious food my food attendant RAMON made the whole experience just perfect gave a good suggestion on food and drinks with an outstanding and professional service .. thank u

CIRCA at Foggy Bottom: what do users think?

Kelly Crenshaw: We were going to another spot and one of my group said "what about here" as we came out of metro. They had a large party cancel so we were able to get in. Everything was great. Food was fantastic and we all were happy leaving. The mac and cheese might be there best I have ever had. I been thinking about and I can not remember a better bowl of mac and cheese... it was that good.

Jessica R: We decided to come here on a whim and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We came for more of a late lunch/early dinner and even though we did not have reservations they still were able to seat us. They did have to seat us in their outdoor area, which was a little chilly but perfectly fine. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The food was great! I got the blackened chicken mango salad and my mom got the barbecue chicken flatbread. Both were very good

Lori Kusterer-Farley: Great dining experience for our family ! Foodie place ! Loved the outdoor tent with heaters. Burger, wings and shrimp salad were amazing! Would definitely return ! Walking distance to a DuPont circle.

Ron Milkowski: Stopped in for a quick drink. Great bartender. Seems like a college crowd. Would definitely be back for dinner. Recommended.

Jessica Morales: This lovely corner is perfect, the menu is not big, but it has a good selection of different options. We had as an appetizer tuna poke nachos, the flavor combination and the fresh tuna was so delicious, and as a entree jambalaya, the spicy was on point and the penne pasta cooked to perfection, my husband ordered a braised short rib, the meat was so tender, the mash potatoes has this smooth texture so perfect. Thank you Michael, great service.

Calico: what do users think?

Rachele Clegg: I was super excited to try this spot for cocktails and was extra disappointed. My friends and I ordered one round of drinks and all three of them were downright terrible. There are so many other spots in Blagden and the surrounding neighborhood that are better than this. The one saving grace was the service — 10/10 even though the place was completely packed out and even their door guy left a great impression. Hoping to return once the cocktail menu is revamped!!

cassandra bierworth: Fun place to hang out with friends. Ordering drinks was super easy using the QR code and they were super tasty. Loved sitting under the lights in the bird cage section!

Lydia L: Love the atmosphere here, the friendly staff, and the tomato pie (though, all the food is good.)

Ryan Brubaker: Very hipster. Great food. Hard to find restaurant off of an alley. But the alley is very well-lit and safe. The food is made from scratch and unique. Check out the tots and the meatloaf pictures I provided here. They were both amazing. Did I mention the place is hipster? Even the wine glass fits the bearded hipster that handed it to me. :-)

Nina R: Went here for the first time for drinks w my new coworkers and can I just say, Billy the bartenders service was out of this world he’s so friendly and nice and conversational, it was really nice to feel so welcomed into the city and also enjoy the great outdoor atmosphere. Thank you!

Stephanie Carter: Really fun bar / restaurant! Cocktails are a bit sweet, but beer is good and vibe is on point. They have really cute outdoor and indoor areas with ivy growing all over the place. Have a solid happy hour special, but it gets really crowded on even weekdays if the weather is nice! Food was okay, but pretty affordable and def worth it for this unique experience!

Laura Carlson: i basically live here. indoor and outdoor space, super friendly bartenders and great drinks. good for whatever, from big gatherings to a date ✨

Farmers Fishers Bakers: what do users think?

Ardavan Tookaloo: It is a very cozy restaurant and bar. There is option to seat inside or outside with heaters for winter. Servers are so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is good. The food is fresh and tasty. Drinks are good too. Just remember it is always crowded and packed. Even if you make a reservation you might still wait for another 45 minutes and that’s what has happened to us however the hostess was so kind and offered us a couple starters on the house to cover for the delay. Update: the more I go here the more I love it, specially the crews and managers! They are the best! Last time/night we were there late to celebrate a birthday and we ordered burgers with fries, after 15 min our waiter came back to us informing us they are out and offered us free desert to make up for it! The food is great as always but these kinds of attitudes and kindness is something we love and respect. Thank you guys we had a great night with great deserts! The chocolate ice cream which I believe is home made is a must to try! Super delicious!

Kenzi LA Toy: A beautiful environment, the ambience was amazing. The server informative, but the orders compromised and wrong. I ordered the Honey Pot Chicken with fries as ah replacement but had the remind the server of my request because I received the original order with grits. Once I did get my fries there was hair added to my order. It was irritating! They finally brought out my fries and ah manager. The manager comp. Us dessert but part of the dessert order was wrong. All in all, in patience and understanding we had ah great time! Please note - everything here is made fresh. So ordering a soda means canned and no free refills! Just saying... #ᑕᕼOOᔕEᕼᗩᑭᑭY !

Kent Brackin: Great food and drinks. Everything seems to come with a mint topping so if thats not your thing might want pay extra care to the menu. There was plenty of seating when we went for brunch but i would suggesting making a reservation because it started to fill up over the two hours we were there. Breakfast stops promptly at 11 AM so make sure you plan according if you want try their amazing waffles! Bathrooms only have 3 urinials/1 toilet for male and two for the females so a line can quickly form trying to go. Waitresses/waiters seem really knowledgeable about the menu items but sometimes their response time can be less than ideal especially once the restaurant starts to feel up, but overall o had a great experience and look forward to going again!

Tina Marbury: The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was admirable. The server arrived with a smile and an eagerness to assist and please our first visit here. The food although amazingly plated arrived tepid and bland. However, the alcoholic drink served was very good.

Y Li: This is a nice and vibrant American restaurant. We opted for the outdoor lunch. Highly recommend the Mussel Pot in White Wine & Garlic, serviced w. their specialty rustic white boule bread, fluffy and lightly chewy, perfect balance dipping in the wine sauce. Shrimp fries and biscuits are tasty. Our lady server was warm and considerately brought one extra pot of hot water for the green tea pot to be shared.

Jessica R: I was really excited to eat here based on several recommendations. However, I was a bit disappointed. We had breakfast here on a Friday morning and it wasn’t very busy when we got there. We still had to wait awhile on a table which we were okay with. I got the chicken and waffles and I felt as though for the price I was paying the piece of chicken was rather small and I maybe received a teaspoon of gravy. The chicken was also mostly breading and not a lot of meat. I also didn’t get any butter for my waffles and the waffles were just room temperature at best. The service was rather slow throughout the meal and unfortunately when you are waiting on something for your food (like the butter), then your food gets cold. I also got a Bloody Mary which was mediocre and slightly watered down, but I am kind of picky about my Bloody Mary’s so it was just one I didn’t like as much as others I’ve had. I am still giving three stars because my mom enjoyed her meal and didn’t have any complaints about her food. She just did the “build your meal” option and thought it was good.

TexCat: WONDERFUL lunch here. This is a great spot. Trendy restaurant with a cool vibe. Great service. Wonderful food and drinks. Ordered the mussels in wine and garlic sauce. Truly one of the best dish of mussels I’ve ever had! The accompanying bread was marvelous also! Couldn’t resist the bread pudding 😋 Highly recommend

Logan Tavern: what do users think?

Nomad USA: Super chill neighborhood tavern. The host there is generally pretentious and cold. I’ve had this issue getting seated at the LT in the past. Their hosts is is far from friendly as is imaginable. Even with the place completely empty, getting a booth probably requires a some type of cash payoff. The servers are super chill and helpful. Menu is great. Wide variety of appetizers and entrees. I had the BBQ Korean wings and the LT burger with truffle fries. The LT burger was just a buck more, truffle fries 2 bucks more, all super tasty and perfect medium rare. They have little alcove by the bar, great for people watching, and the requisite long bar for a casual lunch or dinner. Bathroom. 6/10 for cleanliness.

Matthew Cook: Very good food. Plenty of menu variety so everyone should be able to find something. Including some decent vegetarian dishes. Good cocktail and beer selection. Extremely friendly staff and very efficient.

Jay Vizcarra: LGBTQ+ friendly with great eats! I had one of the famous cheeseburgers on the menu which was super tasty. Usually hopping with great people eating there. Centrally located with a pleasant neighborhood walk surrounded by other places to eat in the area.

Darnice Ward: Logan Tavern was a great choice for an after graduation celebration. None of us had ever been to Logan Tavern as we are from out of state. In our party of 14 only 2 of our party members were from the area, and they had never been either. The did not have a table on Open Table to seat all of us so I reserved several tables and hoped they could seat us near one another. I called and talked to someone who said they would and they OVER delivered and seated us together!!! Our food was delicious and each person was happy with their selection. Although the menu is not extensive it has something for everyone. We had everything from wings, burgers, dip, salad and seafood pasta. Drinks were tasty and the alcohol in them was of average amount. Our waiter. He got every order correct and was consistent with checking on us. He brought found out in a timely fashion and waited for me because I was sitting between both tables. He seemed to have another big party as well. However, the only thing is that he seemed slightly annoyed NOT rude just bothered. We would definitely return again if back in the area. Right now it is tough to service the public so I understand our waiter may have been overwhelmed, please be kind to our service workers.

John G: Logan Tavern, an old favorite over the years, haven’t frequented there as much as I used to. However, I’ve stopped in recently for the greatest drinks made by bartender John. Logan has a great fried chicken classic, with wonderful homemade mashed potatoes and generally Swiss chard… I prefer the asparagus, though, so make sure you ask if you want something different. Chipotle chicken sandwich is wonderful as well, and more recently, I have fallen in love with the pulled pork barbecue sandwich, minus the bun… and a couple extra pickle slices! Bartender John is fantastic at getting your order right, your food tasty, even while I subtract a few calories with a few changes! Thanks John for keeping Logan, local, lovely, and (de)licious!

Patty Cannon: Excellent food & service! The chef came out to meet us and to be certain we were happy! Such a wonderful adventure for us! A large group of 10 and there were several couples enjoying dinner around us...as well as bar seating. Excellent choice for dinner!

Michele R McConnell: We had a great experience. I have a food sensitivity / allergies and they were very accommodating. Aubry was a fabulous server and kept up with our drinks and food. The chef came out and discussed food options for myself and delivered!

Café du Parc: what do users think?

Robin Mehera: Was walking from downtown, to the monuments on a Saturday afternoon. No place was open for coffee, but we came across this boujie little spot. They have a great selection of coffee and pastries, but you are going to be paying a lot. $18 for 2 lattes. Not worth the price, but DC prices. Favorite part was sitting outside on the steps and doing some good ole fashion people watching. I’d go here if you don’t care to break the bank and want to people watch as you sip your coffee.

Crystal Tan: We went to have dinner at this cafe. It is a French cafe so they serve French cuisine. For the most part the food was good. The Escargot Bourgogne, Assorted Artisanal bread, Beef Bourguignon, and the Crème Brûlée was good. My Stew, I forgot the name, which is basically a seafood stew was something I didn’t enjoy. It was bland . I had to put quite a bit of salt and pepper for flavor. We also ordered the Steak Frites, which is a NY strip steak. My husband and I didn’t like it as much. It was a bit chewy and dry. There was some peppercorn gravy on it, but the gravy wasn’t that flavorful too. But, I love love the crab cakes. I don’t think it’s bad, I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought. It’s the first time i’ve tried French cuisine and I refuse to think that their food has no flavor. I am very much going to try it again. This is a good place to come if you like French food, or simply want to try something different. The location is great. You can dine inside or Al Fresco. Parking is a bit limited, so there were 4 of us, and we just took an Uber. This place can be a good place for dates. It’s casual to semi-formal dining. If you plan to come dine, be aware that this place is a bit pricey.

Chukwudi Osondu: The food was phenomenal, the drinks were lovely, and the crème brûlée was absolutely divine! The wild boar: Was loaded with flavor and didn’t have any gamey or overly fatty taste. It was absolutely delectable for lunch time! Beef bourguignon: Was so delicious! It was sweet, savory, and rich! It was super tender and pulled apart! The potatoes and onions that came with it were phenomenal! I wish I had ordered a second serving! Lobster bisque: Tasted like the literal essence of lobster! It was so good for lack of a better term! Phenomenal I say! The creme brûlée: Was absolutely phenomenal, it was sweet without being too sweet! The crust was super sweet and cracked at the pressure of the spoon! This was truly a sumptuous desert! Best creme brûlée in DC!

Genesis Christina: Do yourself a favor and stop by this cute cafe for breakfast! It felt like we had traveled to France and the croissants are to die for. Definitely would recommend.

TOG Traveler: We had a nice anniversary meal on a recent Friday night. The cocktails were great, appy of roasted beet salad was ok, not very roasted, a little light on the goat cheese, but still interesting. Our entrees were the Beef Bourguignon and the Wild Boar. The bourguignon was standard good, not overly rich, done for a broad, touristy audience, but good. The wild boar was a very flavorful, but a little fatty, enjoyable none the less. The portion was a little more generous for the Wild Boar, and it’s accompanying vegetables. Dessert was a mixed bag, we ordered the tart which was very bland and we received a complementary cupcake for our anniversary, which was a nice touch, and meant they read the note section of my online reservation. The cupcake was too dense, and the icing too firm, everything was too crumbly to enjoy. The service was good, not the greatest, but not bad. Recognizing that it’s tough to find & keep good help, I think with some gentle coaching the staff we encountered once seated, could be great. They were definitely pleasant. All in all a good meal, not a bad value and a nice holiday environment at the Willard. If a 4.5 were available that would be my grade, the added ding would be the parking in and around the hotel, was challenging.

Kathryn Kula: We enjoyed a lovely brunch while bidding my daughter who goes to college in DC. The good and service were superb.

Fiola Mare: what do users think?

Richard Holst: Elegant and delicious. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant has many quiet and corners with the perfect atmosphere. It is well organized and very clean, every inch has amazing details. The food and drink selection is extensive and everything we had was prepared to perfection. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area. We will be back here often.

Dario Camilo Barros Viñas: 5 stars for real in every aspect. It has both a very fancy area indoor and a fancy yet relaxed area in the patio. The service was amazing, the food was superb, the cocktails were delicious and generous. Canver the manager was very kind and served us the calamari complementary make us feel even better served! I didn’t know the Branzino taste this good until I tried it here. We were only two so we couldn’t try more plates but do yourself a favor and try Fiola Mare!

Christopher Gillespie: All about the dining experience here, they go above and beyond. Did the bottomless brunch with amazing views. Brunch at this level of execution will be very tough to match. The blue fin ahi could be best bites of 2022 to date. The scallop crudo was melt in the mouth. Worth the price of admission.

Pe Lin (Cilibluebird): A five star seafood restaurant that deserves the five star. Great for special events minimum 50 USD per per person, but well deserved. Hakan was our server and he made this experience exceptional. Pasta’s are excellent. Georgetown next to water. Outside seating is great in the evenings of hot summers.

Roz Manning: Fabulous venue for our intimate wedding dinner with family. The Mermaid Room and adjoining patio were perfect. The appetizers were delicious, dinner was delectable and service superb.

Mike: Easter brunch was amazing. Staff, as always, is fantastic.Intro: watercress soup and the other dish white asparagus.Mains: blue crab omelette and Australian lamb.Glad to see that a packed restaurant. Make reservations!

Alemselam Tekeba: So delicious food. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant don’t have an Apple Pay, since me and my wife use’s almost everywhere and one additional thing wore if you don’t have an ID card you can’t be served alcohol even if we look adults we felt uncomfortable but we used other credit cards to pay and we cancel my wife’s wine order. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area.

Tash M: Had a private dinner here and it was an exceptional experience. The food was lovely, so was the service. Special thanks to Darina for being so attentive and providing an especially memorable experience.

Blue Duck Tavern: what do users think?

Michelle Wiciak: Absolutely phenomenal. This place has the best duck ever. Honestly, everything we had was amazing--from the charcuterie board to the horseradish potatoes to the chocolate peanut butter cake. A well-rounded meal. Not to mention, our waiter did an excellent job at recommending our wine selection and paired beautifully with our dishes. Just an amazing experience and will come back when we are in the city again.

Tilak Kalaria: Blue Duck Tavern in the Park Hyatt is an amazing dining experience. The ambience and the service match the excellent cocktails, wine, and cuisine. You truly get what you pay for and you do pay don’t get me wrong but WoW everything tastes excellent and the service team’s attention to detail elevates the experience. The bone marrow and the duck were my favourite dishes to name a couple. Intriguingly delicious was their house bread with olives! Excellent dining experience that is worth the price. Cheers.

Kim Nguyen: Wow. We were so impressed with the quality of the food here. It’s my first time in DC and after a bit of researching for fine dining restaurant, we decided to try Blue Duck Tavern. I was able to make a last minute reservation for 2 at 8:30pm. Their bone marrow and duck breast were so bomb. The service was amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Jerry’s Adventure: Service, value, flavor it hits all the marks The short ribs were tender and melts in your mouth. And with a smoky flavor 👌 the egg 🥚 is cooked perfectly as it gives a creamy texture to the dish. The biscuit holds up with good structure, but it’s flavor may not be as accentuated as it can be (mostly herbs) and can use a gravy. Pancakes were fluffy as expected and presentation is beautiful 😌 Overall a must go in DC area

Vivian Cheng: Went for lunch. Food is solid, well-executed. We had the cured ocean trout (delicious!) and the kale salad (perfect) with two entrees. Crab cakes are large and delicious. Well seasoned, paired with a salad. I had the confit duck leg. Flavorful, succulent, with a beautiful crispy skin. Sadly, we were too full for dessert. Well-worth a visit.

Tamila Torab Eghdami: It was my first time eating duck. The food was absolutely delicious! 😋 The service was amazing. Too bad we didn’t have time to go back for the second time but next time I’m in Washington definitely we’ll go back. We also tried their apple pie with tea and it was the best apple pie I ever had in my whole life. This restaurant worth your money and time!

Amer Alsamman: Went for our anniversary. The staff were curtious, and friendly. Our waiter went above and beyond to make make our experience great The apple pie was amazing. I had the beef rib which was good but had more fat veins than expected.

Wunder Garten: what do users think?

Darla Lehnert: It was a hidden gem. The private cabanas with outside heaters are super cool. the ability to svan a QR Code and have your drinks brought to you in just a min or two as well as Cali Burger and another food truck to choose from. I went on a Tbursday to play Drag Queen Bingo and had the best time. The show was fantastic and the Bingo games were hilarious. The prizes were shots and flare the girls brought for everyone.

India Lindsay: A solid day drinking spot to spend the day. Brightly decorated with fun colors. Have 2 food trucks on site. Plenty of seating. We went on a rainy evening and they had enough covered areas to seat everyone. Cocktails are all fairly sweet and about $14. I asked the bartender to half the simple syrup and they were very friendly and accompanying.

Dianne Maglaque: Went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was packed! We were able to find seating after a few laps around the place. We had a great time and even a plus is that they are dog friendly. The brats from CaliBurger were amazing as well.

Wyatt Benson: As my first time to a biergarten, this was impressive though a bit haphazard owing to its pop-up origins. Drinks were varied and good, service was prompt, food was excellent. Try and reserve a cabana ahead of time for the best experience.

Austin von Heeringen: Crystal and Katrina put on the best Sunday drag show in the DC area. It’s hands down the best part of this establishment. Sad to hear they are only once a month instead of every Sunday this summer. 10/10 recommend.

Christine West: Great outdoor space with really great food truck options rotating through! And So. Many. Dogs!

Compass Rose: what do users think?

QDior: I had a great experience here. My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary. The around the world food package was great. It was a new and fun experience. I recommend sitting outside during good weather. Our server was knowledgeable and very nice. At the end of the date my boyfriend and I were full and satisfied. I would come back here again.

Natasha Hansen: We did the around the world breakfast for $30 a person. So good! Very generous portions. Not pictured was the delicious chicken that comes as part of the breakfast and fantastic French press of coffee we enjoyed. Great service. Excited to go back and try more!

Nichole B: This place is such a vibe! My husband I were just passing by and saw the outdoor seating. We didn’t see the name of the spot but when we went inside the decor, music, and aroma was just perfect! So we sat at the bar and ordered the Spicy Bag and a few drinks. Food was delicious and E the bartender kept the drinks flowing! Great day vibe and I can only imagine if at night! Can’t wait to go back!

Fiorella Hidalgo: Coming here was one of the best meals I ever had but one of the worst experiences I ever had since I moved to the DMV area. Went a Wednesday around 7PM to celebrate my birthday with my mom and grandma. Our server was amazingly friendly and attentive and so the front desk people. I’m taking a star because of security reasons, that day we sat in the outdoor tables. When we were about to get the last part of our Vegetarian Tour of the World course (couldn’t taste the dessert hahah) a guy came to our table and stole my grandmas purse like it was nothing, I ran with high heels in order to catch him screaming for help but nothing really (besides another guy that was eating with his girlfriend next to our table). The server told us the check was going to be for free, which we were thankful because it wasn’t really the server or the chefs fault for security reasons. Everything was delicious! No complaints on their food. Their butternut squash was so creamy and flavorful! Their hot cocktail was out of the world!! Please add some security cameras around, at least for the people that dine outdoors during night! Or close the space so it’s harder for robbers to step in your cart area please m!! Personal recommendation, please dine indoors!!!!

Sadhana G: We got a gift coupon from our friend for our wedding anniversary at this fine dining restaurant. We were excited to try out the brunch menu named ‘Flavours of the world’ which had a unique mix of food. We were very tempted to try out the Georgian famous dish ‘Khachapuri’ and the waitress mixed the eggs in the dish in front of us on the flatbread. It was a different art form to experience. I also enjoyed the Shakshuka as part of the four course meal. The chicken kabob was juicy and delicious and the cutlery had beautiful patterns. We finished it off with a chocolate cake dessert. The food was flavorful but we were slightly disappointed with the available options on the menu for brunch as it was not customizable. The seating & ambience was average as it was just a tiny building converted into a restaurant. Vibe was good though. A place for a different feeling for food!

Megha Fernandes: I love Compass Rose — I used to come here monthly, if not bi-weekly. The dishes are so interesting, and the concept is really cool. The atmosphere is unique and funky yet cozy, and the service is always genuine, friendly, and fun. But the past few times I’ve been a little disappointed with a few food items (this hurts me to write!). While some dishes like the khachapuri will always be a knockout, the patatas bravas tasted off and the chicken skewers were just so so — previously two of my favorites. I’ll still come back because the changing menu leads to getting to try new dishes, but unfortunately the last couple times haven’t measured up to what this amazing restaurant used to be.

Christian Homme: The Tour of the World is an amazing experience. Each dish was better than the last and it all came together in a stunning sampling of food from all over. Great portions, almost counts finish some dishes but they were so good we powered through haha. The music and atmosphere was perfect too. Highly recommend.

Lawrence Whitney: Tried the world tour dinner option and the food was phenomenal! Had a couple things that didn’t make for a completely amazing experience though. 1. Hidden 8% service fee. If you’re going to have a fee for the back of house, totally fine, but at least tell me about it. If I didn’t look at the itemized receipt behind the signed bill I wouldn’t have known about it at all. I’ll happily pay more per meal if it means the BOH gets more! But don’t try to sneak in this fee. 2. Maybe our server was just having an off day, but he did not seem pleased with us or any of the other tables he was serving, totally stoic face and would just put the food on the table. Whatever, didn’t really think much of it. Until I the table next to us ordered the same multiple course meal and their server talked about each food as it was brought out, giving it a little background. Maybe that wasn’t standard and their server was going above and beyond, but maybe at least a little something between these two extremes would have made this “world tour” really pop.

Big Bear Cafe: what do users think?

Chelsea Kinsman: Dinging them 2 stars for only providing single-use plastic disposable cups and utensils and another star for the bland and basic “homemade” English muffin breakfast sandwich. Like so many cafes during the pandemic, Big Bear moved in a less sustainable direction which is sad to see and also unacceptable given how much we know about the affect of non-recyclable waste. Big Bear still does not permit dine-in on the bottom level, only outdoor seating and indoor seating upstairs (where the lone bathroom is), though they had blocked off all the seats outside in the sun the day we were there. Would recommend skipping this place in favor of more sustainable cafes until they improve their environmental practices as well as their food on offer.

Andrew Thomas Clifton: It’s one of my absolute GO-TO spaces to hit in DC. The staff is great, the food is simple and also very very great, the only thing I do not like is if you sit outside be ready for lots of flies to be hovering.

stephanie wood: Honestly, not my favorite. The line gets very long and moves slowly. The staff is impatient, rushes you at the counter, and is borderline rude if you have questions. It’s difficult to find a seat and you are not welcome to linger. The vibe is BUSY. Creative Grounds coffee is around the corner and provides a much friendlier atmosphere.

Georgia Craig: Best coffee I’ve had in DC, good milky got chocolate. Good array of baked goods. Could make the food menu clearer as I didn’t realise there was a food menu until I was served. Good bagels. Could improve cleanliness. Very busy. Rather expensive~ $45 for the food in the photo.

Joy R: Inside and outside space as well as a 2nd floor party area . Very cute. Serves coffee and drinks. The double cheeseburger was very good.

Joe Joe: A fast paced grab-n-go or sit down breakfast eatery that has phenomenal staff service and great avocado breakfast burritos. Went two times while visiting in Washington DC and it’s a must!

Craig Pratt: Nice little Cafe were you can sit for hours on your laptop or reading, I did both. Coffee was great ad was the service.
