La Vie: what do users think?

Olivia M. Wilson: I know there’s mixed reviews about this place but I had a great experience. Our waiter took very good care of us and overall enhanced the dining experience. - The food was a 10/10 - The atmosphere and ambiance was amazing. - The view of the water gave it a very elegant vibe towards fine dining. Would definitely recommend for a date night or special occasion

Asim Soofi: Every single dish we ate was absolutely delicious. I would trust the executive chef at La Vie with any meal. There is something completely unique, yet so familiar with the variety of ingredients in each dish that transports you back to reminisce the first time you experienced it, wrapping you in a maternal blanket of bygone home cooked holiday meals. It has the luxury of comfort food with an eclectic mix transported from Mediterranean, Latin America, French, and Italian flair. Blends of sweet and spice came together in each rich bite. Vegetables and meats were perfectly prepared and plated. Fast on the day you go...you will enjoy every bite and leave happy.

Leemu Kufuor: Cute and Instagramable! Make sure you dress up! I enjoyed the food and drinks at La Vie but the customer service left more to be desired. The staff at the front when overwhelmed are not friendly or welcoming and they seem to need more attendants to serve the volume of guests that arrive around dinner. I would go back though, the food is good and the drinks are strong.

yelena antonela: Beautiful place, stuff Is very friendly Igloos is very creative warm and cozy! Food was delicious 😋 I order La Vie Caesar salad , Atlantic salmon and cauliflower couscous, Brussels sprouts it’s was so delicious you can feel so much love that food have 👌🏼🙏🏻 Dessert is yummy my favorite was a custard light and crispy. whole experience was Amazing !!

Kev- keepingitreal: We love the hospitality at La Vie. Our hoist was very generous and attentive, our food was hot, tasty and flavorful. We ordered shrimp, Lamb Chops, Truffle Mac & Cheese, Roasted Chicken with Mashed Potatoes. Underground parking garage is available for a fee.

Tasha Fuller: Overrated. When you pay more you expect more. The ambiance was amazing but the food wasn’t on the same level. The lobster was overcooked and the Risotto lacked flavor, no matter how much salt and pepper I added. The best part of my meal was the French fries and Brussel Sprouts.

Amanda (WhatsDaHype): Beautiful restaurant! The view of the wharf is very pretty on a sunny day. Friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is pricey but the food and drinks weren’t over the top amazing. I truly appreciated our waiter making sure we enjoyed our meals but the items we got were just good. The presentation of the drinks were nice. We didn’t like the salmon and the waiter exchanged that meal for the lobster ravioli. It was tasty. We also tried the roasted chicken. The combination of all the ingredients was flavorful and hearty. The fried cauliflower was lightly fried but lacked flavor.

Anakaren Cruz: The service is really great and the aesthetic is beyond expectations. The restaurant is on the higher end and pricier side. We spent around $450 for 3 people. I highly recommend the lamb chops and the cotton candy baked Alaska for dessert.

Boss Marius: Mixed feelings about this place, it’s good but I do not think the price is justified. The ambiance is lovely, it’s by the water and the brunch is good, but…You reserve your time slot in advance and still have to wait to be seated. The cost of the brunch if you decide to go for bottomless food and mimosas for two people comes up to $275.

Sequoia DC: what do users think?

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.

IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!

jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.

John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.

Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .

Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!

elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Fiola Mare: what do users think?

Pe Lin (Cilibluebird): A five star seafood restaurant that deserves the five star. Great for special events minimum 50 USD per per person, but well deserved. Hakan was our server and he made this experience exceptional. Pasta’s are excellent. Georgetown next to water. Outside seating is great in the evenings of hot summers.

Roz Manning: Fabulous venue for our intimate wedding dinner with family. The Mermaid Room and adjoining patio were perfect. The appetizers were delicious, dinner was delectable and service superb.

Richard Holst: Elegant and delicious. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant has many quiet and corners with the perfect atmosphere. It is well organized and very clean, every inch has amazing details. The food and drink selection is extensive and everything we had was prepared to perfection. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area. We will be back here often.

Dario Camilo Barros Viñas: 5 stars for real in every aspect. It has both a very fancy area indoor and a fancy yet relaxed area in the patio. The service was amazing, the food was superb, the cocktails were delicious and generous. Canver the manager was very kind and served us the calamari complementary make us feel even better served! I didn’t know the Branzino taste this good until I tried it here. We were only two so we couldn’t try more plates but do yourself a favor and try Fiola Mare!

Alemselam Tekeba: So delicious food. Everything is gears towards an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The restaurant don’t have an Apple Pay, since me and my wife use’s almost everywhere and one additional thing wore if you don’t have an ID card you can’t be served alcohol even if we look adults we felt uncomfortable but we used other credit cards to pay and we cancel my wife’s wine order. The views of the water are amazing and there are plenty of things to walk to in the area.

Mike: Easter brunch was amazing. Staff, as always, is fantastic.Intro: watercress soup and the other dish white asparagus.Mains: blue crab omelette and Australian lamb.Glad to see that a packed restaurant. Make reservations!

Stephan Herard: Had a really good brunch. The burrata was unique with a crispy shell on the outside and the soft mozzarella inside. The Burrata, Spring Begins dessert and Bomboloni are probably the highlights of the course.

Christopher Gillespie: All about the dining experience here, they go above and beyond. Did the bottomless brunch with amazing views. Brunch at this level of execution will be very tough to match. The blue fin ahi could be best bites of 2022 to date. The scallop crudo was melt in the mouth. Worth the price of admission.

Tash M: Had a private dinner here and it was an exceptional experience. The food was lovely, so was the service. Special thanks to Darina for being so attentive and providing an especially memorable experience.

Roof Terrace Restaurant: what do users think?

Ron Milkowski: I have never been to the Kennedy Center and had no idea that there even was a restaurant. What a very nice dining experience. Santo our waiter was very knowledgeable with the food and drinks. It is a bit pricey but worth it. Even if you are not going to an event I highly recommend checking it out.

Anusha Chatterjee: Wonderful bar service! The food was so good. Had the tuna carpaccio and the salmon. Both were absolutely perfect! Lovely seasonal Cocktails. Perfect stop before or after the show. The bar has the full menu, so no reservations were needed. Lovely intimate vibe.

Craig Herrick: We’ve been here a number of times over the years though this was the first visit in two years. The Terrace has upped their game. My lamb chops and wife’s fillet would go over well in any finer local venue. The service was prompt and professional and based around our show time. Terrace maintains most of its vintage (60’s) vibe which is what I like about it.

Myrna Linzy: Very good. Waitress was very good in helping me with which meal. Picked my drinks. Awesome place.

Catina Carter: The food and service was outstanding. Wonderful place to have a beautiful experience of class. The views were wonderful as well.

Mary Robinson: Wonderful dinner before a show. Cant beat the views! Professional service throughout the meal.

Veronica Coleman: Wonderful evening at the Kennedy Center and dining at the Roof Terrace Restaurant. Great food. Great music.

Phil Cooke: Great setting at the Kennedy Center, ideal for pre show dinner. Service was excellent; overall, food was very good. Our party of four got fish, with the bass being the best, by far. Others, trout and salmon, were just okay. It is a little pricey, but the setting, service and convenience make it worth it.

Del Mar: what do users think?

R: This was my first time going to Del Mar and the food was phenomenal! We went as a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday. It was my first time trying octopus and it was really good. The parking in the garage was $45 since I stay for 4+ hours which was a downside for the night so it might be better to find street parking.

Genesis Marrero: I was truly impressed with this dining experience. We flew to DC for my birthday week and had my birthday dinner here. Luis served us and he was definitely one of the best servers we have ever had wait on us (and we are huge foodies so that is saying something). He was so attentive and just knew exactly how to guide the dining experience based on what the guests is wanting out of their night whether they know specifically or not. We let him take the wheel with all of the knowledgeable recommendations and we were so happy from start to finish. We came back for our last meal in DC and again, Amber served us, and again we were not disappointed. She was so sweet and also had wonderful recommendations and made sure all of our needs were met before we said goodbye and hopped on a flight. Luckily Luis was also there and he remembered us which made us happy because he was also so memorable for us. He was so nice and sent us our new favorite drink that he enlightened us to - the carajillo. I don’t think you could go wrong with a single thing on this menu. The rest of the staff was also very efficient and everything just seemed to flow so smoothly with the teamwork here. I can’t wait to go back someday!

Khalid Sam: Great places for tapas. A bit pricey but the quality and service is fantastic.

Alya's Aura: The food was SO delicious and of course the service was top notch. Our waiter (I believe his name is Michael) was so nice and helpful and made some great recommendations. I definitely suggest leaving space for dessert because their little dulce de leche dark chocolate cakes with the horchata ice cream was beyond amazing! The perfect end to a great meal 👌🏾

Theodora Lau: Love the food and the service. Def order the seafood paella 🥘 … you won’t be disappointed.

TexCat: In town with a friend. It was getting a little late and we were still trying to find somewhere for dinner - came across Del Mar and it enticed us. Waited for a table as we really wanted to sit outside on such a beautiful evening. Everyone was very friendly. Bryan our server was wonderful. Very attentive and sweet, he took great care of us. We shared some tapas - a little surprised at how small they were based on the price….admittedly they were extremely tasty, but I think what you’re really paying for is the location. A great place to return to sometime for a romantic meal

Omar Cardin: The service here is as good as a fine French restaurant with the ideology that plates need to be ready when the guest is ready for them and when they are done, the plate disappears. Great service, most meats just melt in the mouth. Highly recommended for sauce lovers.

Black Star Dust: Absolutely stunning place. Great service. Top tier experience. Everything was a ten. The Seafood Paella is delicious. Highly recommend that dish. It comes in different sizes for sharing. It was my bday so they brought out gratis champagne and this cheesecake that was literally the one of the most delicious desserts to grace the planet. Don’t even get me started on the churros! Amazing! I also did come in with a VIP who goes there regularly so that surely may have enhanced the experience to 10 stars!!

MI VIDA: what do users think?

Ben Vance: The staff (especially the hostess) were extremely nice and accommodating. We originally sat outside but realized it was getting too cold for us. So she found us a spot we could move inside which was an excellent, warm spot. The food was very good as well as the margaritas. Recommend checking it out.

Shriya Amit: We were planning to get some appetizers and landed in this restaurant accidentally. Happy hour is served only at the bar and it was full. So we ended up at the booth. Great ambience but okay food. Had ceviche and fish tacos with a cocktail. Our server kept saying you must try our “MOST DELICIOUS Guacamole”, don’t fall for it. It was freshly made but I make much better guacamole. My husband loves guacamole so he always orders it but $14 for a small bowl, not worth it.

DEZAREE JOHNSON: Mi Vida is now my favorite place to dine. I honestly have been there 3 times in the past week. The staff is always amazing and very patient with me lol. I can’t remember my first waitresses name but the last two times I had Wendy And Louise with his fine self. It sits right on the water. So there’s an amazing view. I will forever be a customer at this place.

Eric Lee: Prompt Seating, waiter very attentive. Food from, appetizers to dinner, very fresh. Food was tasty, guacamole fresh, chips and salsa also no complaints. Price average+ (pp) for location. Won’t be disappointed in taste, service and wait.

Tahoma Lewis: Had an excellent time at lunch. Our waiter was prompt, courteous and knew the protocol for removing flatware and dinnerware. This place has proven itself again to be a nice place to go for a fantastic meal.

Angel Fross: Pretty good! I definitely enjoyed my experience, but it wasn’t the absolute best food I’ve had, especially for the price. This is a good place to try once, but I don’t think it’s worth a second visit. Just not super notable, but the food is alright!

Leah Underwood: Yummy Mexican food with Happy Hour if you sit at the bar. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t serve happy hour for dine in. Beautiful scenery along the wharf. Known for their margaritas and guacamole. Everything is pretty much ala carte including the chips and salsa. Large bar when you enter with many delicious food options including a children menu.

Nick's Riverside Grill: what do users think?

Jeffrey Brooks-Holliday: Service was not so great. Definitely room for improvement. Management should know that they have tours coming and going from that area and should have a system to reflect that. Food and drinks were decent, filling and fulfilled its purpose. Will try again on next trip here and revise review if service standards improve.

R Howell: It was my birthday weekend and a friend tteated me. We got seated right away. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. Our waitress was gery busy but took excellent care of us. The atmosphere was nice. We were right next to the water but protected with awning to block the sun. The food was very good. I had shrimp cocktail with a side caesar salad. My friend had the sangria and said it was really good. She never finishes her drinks but finshed the sangria in record time! She liked her old bay wings and said french fries were tasty!

Armida (Justmida): Food was excellent! Mahi-mahi tacos, shrimp alpastor , fried camari all very good!

Dolly J Jackson: OMGoodness!!! Why? Why was the food so Bomb! I can not wait to go back to the DMV area- I will definitely be visiting here again. GOD willing life spared. Delicioso!!!

jose rospigliosi: Nothing spectacular. Ordered crab cake sandwich. Crab Cake was tiny. A bunch of lettuce and tomato. No flavor. The fries were average. It was really humid/hot inside. Calamari was average.

Raymond Zeigler: Great view of the Potomoc River. We ate waterside! The food and service was awesome! A lite shower went through while we were eating but we had a patio umbrella over us so we stayed dry. Great experience!

The Lafayette: what do users think?

Laura Xu Chen: Second time back in DC for a weekend and we are in Hay Adams again after 10 years. The food never disappoints and in fact everything was superb! Rack of lamb and Crab gnocchi were excellent. You have to order the soufflé! The ambiance was fine dining yet the wait staff are so warm and pleasant! We stayed for a 3 hour dinner and it was a beautiful and elegant experience

Adam Galazka: Amazing restaurant located in the Hay Adams hotel. Reservations were done via Google and confirmed by the restaurant a couple days in advance. Table was ready 45 minutes in advance. Their customer service from initial greeting through the whole dinner was amazing. Very good wine menu and you also have a cocktail menu as well. We tried a mushroom soup and octopus for appetizers. Ordered chicken breast and bronzini for main course. For our dessert we had creme Brule. Everything was amazing and tasty. We will definitely come back.

波。真秀ᶘ oᴥoᶅ: We went to the Lafayette for breakfast. Our waiter, Emmanuel, was extremely friendly, humorous and attentive. The French Toast came with hot maple syrup and the Lafayette Eggs Royale were accompanied by hollandaise sauce, which blended well with the rich salmon and eggs.

Shawni McGraw: We decided on this restaurant to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary because of the spectacular views and ambience. When we found out that the view we were seeking was not available, the manager went above and beyond to get a private tour of just that view. He wanted our day to be special and he did just that. The food was fabulous and everyone is so customer focused. The mood was romantic with the live piano player and decor. I highly recommend this restaurant for your special day.

CRPARK LLC: Fine dining at its best. After graduation dinner with great down town DC vibe. Service was superior and the environment, on point.

Jenovie Yoka: The food was really good and tasty. The prices are also fair but I did not like the service at all. Furthermore, it was simply awful! The servers that had us that night( a man and a lady) were just not professional and welcoming at all. The were working like they were forced to take care of us. We reserved the private room for a special occasion (my sister engagement) and those two servers made us have a very bad experience. Especially the lady when it can to the moment to pay the restaurant bill. In the other hand the meals and the drinks were simply amazing!

Michael O'Reilly: **FUTURE VISITORS: THEY NO LONGER DO ROOFTOP DINING** This is a fantastic restaurant in a fantastic hotel, but they no longer do anything on the roof. The roof is now reserved for events and such, which is truly disappointing. What’s the point in going anymore? The ambience of the restaurant is nice, but not nice enough to justify going. The food is great, but there are better, cheaper options throughout DC. It is all fairly expensive as well, and for what? One of the main reasons to go was for the wonderful view, but if I no longer have access to that, then the Lafayette is no longer a #1 choice.

Stacy: Good but too expensive. The servers were all so friendly and helpful. It was unbelievably fancy. You are clearly paying for the experience.

Eduardo Rukos: Beautiful & very well executed French inspired menu with a lot of highlights. The staff was amazing and the desserts are pieces of art.

Mark Blanchard: Hands down the most beautiful venue in DC (at least when it was up on the top floor through the pandemic). Great food, great view from the top floor, and friendly staff.

Hank's Oyster Bar: what do users think?

M J: Delicious seafood with great service down by the Wharf. I loved my fried oysters and subbed the fries for red beets for a small upcharge. I looked up from my meal to ask my husband how his crab cake sandwich was but he had already inhaled it 🤣. The place was clean. We waited only 20 minutes instead of the 45 minutes we were quoted. Great to see all the LGBTQIA support here and in the Wharf District for PRIDE month. Only suggestion is that the hostesses need to speak much LOUDER since it is a loud, vivacious, fun restaurant. Not a place for 2 soft-spoken young women.

Sun Lee: Pros: -Fried oysters & lobster dip was great. -Fried oysters dip was amazing -Awesome views of pier/ marina/ people watching spot from outside tent area. Cons: -Outside seating area can be extremely loud. - bartenders are trash; making half a drink and filing the rest up with ice

Miguel Curiel: Top 3 favorite places in DC. First time going was in May, had rated with 5 stars then and it still holds now. - the place is always full of life which makes for a fun time out (therefore, it is highly recommended you reserve beforehand). - food is extremely delicious. From the fresh oysters to the pasta and the crab rolls, you will not be disappointed. - service is sooooo kind and attentive. Special shout-out to Christopher! - it is on Wharf street so you get a priceless walk + view. - prices do tilt towards the expensive side, so be prepared.

Kyle Lennon: Oh my lord the Rockefeller is AMAZING! Best I’ve ever had compared to Legal Seafood in Boston and Devon Seafood in Hershey. BEST! It was absolutely delightful I ordered a second round of them. Fabulous cocktails too, fast attentive service as well!

Min Cheng: Delicious food, nice view, great service. The gentleman who wears Boston Strong wristband is charming and pleasant, made our dining experience more enjoyable.

The Salt Line: what do users think?

Matthew Rathbun: I finally had some Pappy van Winkle! Outstanding location with a beautiful view outside and comfortable setting inside. The menu items are fantastic making it hard to choose just one thing. The clam selection is fantastic, as is the presentation. The clam chowder is very good, but not as good as the other food items that our group purchased. The staff is very friendly, efficient and engaging. The food was terrific and the drinks were perfectly mixed. Great experience and I highly recommend it.

Blue Girl: We were really happy with our first dining experience here. Great food, great ambience, excellent customer service. Fresh seafood, we enjoyed our oysters and drinks were on point. Awesome bartenders. We watched the staff and they were operating really good. Food was served on time. Restroom was also clean. Thank you so much guys. We can’t wait to come back. Beautiful waterfront restaurant.

Joseph Morgan: Lunch/Brunch 2 adults 2 kids $75-100 Great atmosphere and views of the river and new Frederick Douglas bridge. As other mention the oysters are good. The kids menu is good, the crispy fish sandwich is good. The eggs Benedict were good but they over cooked the poached eggs. Great wine and beer list. Great Bloody Mary.

Arshad Sayed: Great Food. Great Ambience. Terrific Service = Worth repeating. Our order—Coddies, 3 fried balls of Cod, mashed potatoes with mustard on a cracker. A lovely appetizer. With just two of us we chose Olive oil poached black bass, with kale and celery root puree.. refined taste just right. And we had the Watermans platter — fried fish, oysters, shrimp, scallops, with generous amounts of fries and colesaw. Sharing the two dishes for the entree was sufficient. Just the Black Bass might not have been enough for one so the combination of the two worked out just fine. The food was served hot and the service impeccable! Seated outside, with the burners, sipping sweet Italian vermouth to down it all and and watching the lights of the bridge shimmering in the water, while finishing off the pineapple pudding ( the rum glaze was a tad bit too strong for our taste) fighting for the last piece of pudding 😀 was about perfect! All this for $110 with tax. Unfortunately the star system means that this rating would fall on the upper end between 4-5 and I don’t give 5 stars anymore.

Shamsher: I would really want to give this place some applause but it is kinda hard to do so. Find out why in the below gibberish. My friend insisted to dine here and as a good friend I was like “SURE!” Find a bar top next to the bar. Put in my order of 2 drinks and the Waterman’s Platter that you see below pictures. It was priced $33. Who doesn’t love fried food? So, naturally I want to love this platter as well but the amount of salt in this platter could kill all the snail population of the world. I mean the place is called SALT LINE and I get all your jokes, the ones that you as a reader are thinking and laughing about this but it was actually not funny eating this. The fries were some of the worst fries I have had in the world. I don’t even need to explain why see the picture please. No napkins were served with the food. No silverware was given with the food. That is about it. You be the judge of it but I am giving this place 1.2/5 P.S The receptionist who worked there that shift was amazing though. I asked her for both silverware and napkins. She just handed them right away. So thank you so much.

Monique Diop: Nice space, easy to get to ( uber not sure of parking) food fresh, delicious and interesting.. Seafood Bratwurst was good. We ate outdoors. with warm heat lamps near a pink lighted bridge! #FDMB

Tony and Joe's Seafood Place: what do users think?

Gabby Bonilla: This restaurant is really large with seating available outside and inside. We sat inside because it was extremely hot outside. The food was okay, but overly priced. We ordered fried shaved Brussels sprouts and they came out burnt, but other than that the food and drinks were just okay.

Scott O'Brien: Pretty small lunch menu. Not to many options. Came in for a late lunch. We were directed to the bar to seat ourselves as our only option. We sat at a high top and was then motioned by the bar tender to come get our menus. So we quickly realized this is a bar without service. After making our food choices we had to get up and go to the bar to order. Ok. The food actually came to us and they did refill our drinks when requested. Food was good and came out quickly. But I’m still one that thinks that great service can overcome ok food. But even with good food, bad service is hard to come back from. In the end I’m not sure I would go back or recommend this restaurant.

Celal Gulluoglu: It was a great time and I was so fully satisfied with the seafood. The best dish is the mussels. It made me feel so alive. The only letdown was the price for the food. In my opinion, the price wasn’t worth it. Last thing that was amazing was the sight of the river.

David Arrimadas: One of the best fish places in DC. Very kind staff and extremely good quality. The mussels are delicious and the crab soup is really tasty. Very nice place also with good terrace to enjoy if the temperature allow you to do it. Highly recommended!

Vy H.: Great location for drinks and light food by the waterfront! It’s always busy packed on the weekends but was lucky this past Sunday for a table outdoors! Service is great too. Seafood wise, top favorites were the Hot Crab Dip, Steamed Top Neck Clams and the Chilled Seafood Tower!

K Santos: Great service, they have outdoor dining which is great. Food is great, we had burgers, clam chowder and their fish. Big main servings you can share. They have a great detail of having sanitizers in each table to make sure you clean your hands. Great view too right in front of the potomic river.

김서진: One of the best fishes place. I enjoyed fresh sea food. I love this place, outdoor mood♥️

Vue Rooftop: what do users think?

Elizabeth T.: Awesome location for a rooftop - only issue is that the best views are by the standing bar which seems to be an odd placement considering the food is expensive and you would think that they would seat more people by the windows. Drinks are on the pricier side with beer starting at $11. We ordered the burrata and lobster mango to start - by far the highlight of the meal. For dinner I got the lamb burger and it was okay but I’ve had better.

Elliott Schellinger: The views of the Washington monument are absolutely unparalleled from the booth at the Vue Rooftop. This was my first time at the establishment and I must admit I am quite impressed. The staff and the management were extremely accommodating, even though our demands were somewhat obnoxious. They were willing to open up the private dining area just for the two of us, and let us experience the D.C. skyline at its absolute best. The food was quite delicious. The appetizers in particular were truly scrumptious; “calamari” and “Parmesan fries” are the absolute must, along with the “olives and bread” starter. The must have cocktail for me was the “power to peaches”, divinely smooth and summery fresh. All-in-all, it was a perfect bon-voyage evening before we headed back to NYC. Thanks to the staff and the management for wrapping up our Washington D.C. visit in a ribbon with a luxurious bow on top.

JR Franks: Definitely worth checking out for the views of the WH and Mall, and the rooftop itself is quite spacious with a good amount of seating. The drinks were (unsurprisingly) on the pricier side so I probably wouldn’t come back often. Didn’t try the food but the burgers looked excellent, I’d probably try one if/when I come back.

Pat S: We had a table of 13 guest for a dinner party. My calamari was hard and overcooked my entree the seafood linguine was distasteful. Our entire table didn’t enjoy their entrees. Beautiful views of the White House and Mall, and the rooftop it’s spacious with a good amount of seating and upscale. Good vibes and ambience for drinking and dance only, dine somewhere else. The drinks were on the pricier side my cocktail was $22, overall so I probably won’t come back as often.

JD: This is a great spot for the social fare and view. It was packed on a Tuesday evening. Food was okay. Service okay. Drinks are great. Service gratuity is included in your bill, so tip extra when warranted

Robert Chang: If you want a great view of the White House, definitely check out this bar. Definitely worth spending the price for a drink just to check out the view. The drinks are definitely on the pricier side and my Old Fashion was a tad small but once again, the view was worth it.

PGAmos: Fantastic view. The White House is hidden because of the trees but I’m sure it’s in plain view during the winter. I attended an event and everything I ate was tasty. The drinks weren’t bad either! I’ll be adding this to my list for out-of-town folks to visit.

Susan FG: Food was great, as were service and views. One drink from the outdoor bar was not good, indoor bar drinks were definitely better. We still had to wait about 20 minutes for our table but that was not too bad

Christopher king: The view was pretty great. I ordered the lobster and rice because the bartender recommended it. The presentation was great but it tasted really dry. My friend got the crab cakes and those were delicious! Dont get the rice, it’s not worth $54. Probably wouldn’t visit again.

Kingbird: what do users think?

Alvaro H. Torres: Exceptional customer service. One of the best French toast I had. Luckily for me, I had two days to try as much breakfast meal. I highly recommend it and it exceeded my expectations. The price is high but you are paying for great quality. After your breakfast you can take a stroll at the water front. I think this is a great selection and you will not be disappointed.

Sydni Hagens: The waitstaff was lovely. Nothing bad to say there, but the afternoon tea left much to be desired. My friend and I have been to many teas around the world and always enjoy trying new ones. This is not an afternoon tea I would recommend to anyone else. The black tea was more gray (like a decaf twinings) and tasted like watery milk. The sandwiches were very basic (although they graciously accommodated a vegetarian request for one of us). The scone tasted like a blueberry muffin, and not like a scone at all. The crepe brûlée was watery and not brûlée’d. Ambiance in the restaurant was awkward and the tables and chairs reminded us of office furniture. The tea service looked like a child’s tea set. This is very overpriced for what it offered. Again, nothing against the staff, just not a good afternoon tea in our opinion. Others in the place raved about it, but we’ve just had so many wonderful afternoon teas, and this wasn’t one of them.

Adam Galazka: Tried the restaurant for a dinner one night and couple of breakfasts while staying at the watergate. Not quite a 5 star experience. For dinner the food was well seasoned but the temperature was luke warm. Not quite what we expected. Service was great. For breakfast, service was great and very fast but again latte was very luke warm. They made it up the 2nd time around. We will definitely come back at some point to give them another try.

Katie Cahill: Made a reservation for a large group (15) for lunch. What a disappointment. The waiter was the only positive part of the experience. Waited for more than an hour for our food, many of which were salads and soup of the day. The salads were wilted, the soup so salty it was nearly inedible, the burgers cooked to death (even though medium was ordered), and the salmon was marginal at best. Being practical, most of us made an attempt to finish our food as to not waste, but terrible. What was worse is the place was nearly empty with only a few other tables occupied. A waste of what was supposed to be a nice lunch at a historic venue.

Viviana Shanks: If you are staying at the Watergate (or just considering eating there) avoid at all costs, for breakfast or dinner. The restaurant looked nice and fancy, so we decided to give it a shot! What a disappointment. A HUGE comedy of errors. Our starter took 20min to arrive. Which ok is fine... they probably made it from scratch? We ordered the chicken (that would comes with purée) and scallops. It took 35 min after the starter for our main courses to arrive. Meaning, almost an hour after we ordered it! My chicken came with French fries, to which I was told that they ran out of purée, but no one thought it was wise to inform me before the meal arrived. - they tried to make it right by giving me ratatouille and broccoli. I started eating, my chicken was not baked, but yes boiled a couple or more days ago. They probably put it on the microwave as the chicken was stone cold on the inside. When I point that out, I’m told « they were probably waiting for the scallops to be ready » doesn’t excuse it. They took my chicken away for an extra 10min to warm it up. Same thing, still cold but I went with it. Our waiter took it out the bill, but the entire experience was miserable. Table next to us had a 21st birthday, and same, they almost all ordered the chicken too and they left the restaurant with their plates untouched. So my case was not isolated. To make the matter worse, the next morning we head there to have breakfast, we are rudely told that there is a 45min wait for breakfast. We look inside the restaurant and it’s half empty, and is a buffet. They apparently couldn’t manage to turn around the few tables they were seri I quickly enough. Pro tip, room service is way quicker. They should seriously think of changing chefs as I feel we were lied to. Would definitely stay back at the hotel but NOT go back to the restaurant.

Alex Holston: The best place to have dinner before a show at the Kennedy Center. I go back all the time. The cocktails are my favorite part, as well as the priced fix menu.

mingyue Liu: I’m from Boston. I checked online and try to find a good place to eat breakfast. And I’m kinda disappointed because the food was less and cold. And didn’t filled up when the tray was empty. The tea and coffee u need ask for. This buffet cost 25/per person and will charge 18% tips. I didn’t feel happy about that. Not good breakfast choice.

TRS- Private: It’s hard to write the review for this place. The service was not bad, in fact the team were all extremely professional and very pleasant. However, it was tediously slow, despite an abundance of staff. It’s almost like there are too many people working here, I’ve seen Denny’s wait staff handle 10 times the number of customers and do so 10 times more efficiently. It is a shame because it does detract from the experience. It’s just docile here. Like many of the other reviews about the food, Ours was excellent but the portions were pitifully small. I happen to like small portions but here they have taken the philosophy to a ludicrous level. And given the prices, it’s hard to leave satisfied. As I say, it’s hard to write this review without being influenced by all the factors. The food is good, you just have to order a little more than you normally would, the service is good, if you are patient and the ambiance is lovely. I would certainly recommend this place, but with strong caveats of these factors. If wonky management would take note of the consistent reviews of this nature and just make things a little more snappy and up the portion sizes by a few percentage points. Then Kingbird would be a top venue in Washington which definitely needs more options like this, especially over in this part of town.

Osteria Morini: what do users think?

Balloon Artist: I delivered balloons to this beautiful location set on the walkway near the water. Parking was interesting. I am so grateful someone left while I was delivering the balloons. I did not eat there . The staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful.

Ben English: This place had always come recommended. Paul is the General Manager and wears his heart on his sleeve. He is committed to giving a great service and is really responsive. Our server was Edith and she was incredible- attentive, witty and just committed to a great experience. One of the great things about this restaurant is they don’t rush. We had appetisers and then waited a while and had drinks. It’s a proper Italian experience. Their wine list also reasonable and has great optionality. This is a great restaurant with staff that care. Would recommend highly and a stunning water view to boot.

Rachel L: We’ve been here twice now and it’s very yummy. The first time was outstanding. The burger was phenomenal and the pasta was so so delicious. We tried again during restaurant week and were less impressed. The desserts were yummy as well as the appetizers but the main entree was very meh at best. Overall the atmosphere is great, service is always wonderful and the drinks are good. I’m sure we will be back!

Alison Young: Outstanding! Best meal since the pandemic began. Great service. Delicious food. Fabulous outdoor patio.

cq ny: Food is savory and I like the spaghetti with meatballs. I used to like the tagliatelle dish but somehow the chef now seems to add too many carrots to the dish. This has turned me off from the tagliatelle. This is when I wish DC had an Eataly that has a tagliatelle with bolognese (no carrot cubes).

Katherine Garcia: Such a lovely experience! Food was great, portioned just right and flavorful. I got the squid ink pasta and my partner got the gnocchi. Their drinks were also very good they have wines, cocktails and such. A bit pricey but worth it. Service were polite and food came so quickly too!

RJ: Very good Italian in Navy Yard, although I’m admittedly new to the area. The food and service were consistent for 2 different meals, I ate both at the bar. Drinks also very good, wish bar was a little more private. Feels exposed if I had to describe its placement in the restaurant.

Canopy Central Cafe And Bar: what do users think?

Ciara Kalf: The inside is just beautiful. Upscale, but cozy, with lots of light and great view of the waterfront. But you’re definitely paying for it. We made a reservation on a Saturday at 11 AM for brunch, and were surprised that we probably didn’t even need one since they were pretty empty (which was nice honestly). We all agreed our meals were very good (French fries were specially were bangin). Chicken sandwich was super crispy and flavorful but it was dark meat chicken when you bit into it. I prefer a thicker whole white meat. Mimosas were good, they definitely don’t short you on the champagne! Service was great. Our server was very nice, even took some great pictures for us :) Its unfortunate that it’s so expensive (you can see the steep prices on their menu). But it’s a quiet space to have nice conversations in a great ambience.

Jim Haynie: The staff is outstandingly nice here. They are kind and great people. The menu is a bit odd and a few expensive breakfast options. The eggs and chicken sausage is very good. The fruit plate is big! I enjoyed breakfast.

Rachel U: Amazing staff! Sunday brunch was great, the bottomless mimosa were a plus! We had the kale Caesar salad, creamy pesto pasta, and fish tacos.

D. Suazo: The best of this experience was the view! Service was OK, and at times very slow. Waiter was nice but seemed overworked - too many tables to attend. Food was not worth the price and very understated. Only food item that was good was the District wings & fries; cooked perfect & tasty. Mahi mahi tacos had maybe one bite of fish in each taco & mostly flour tortilla. Ordered margaritas and since not on drink menu we were charged $29 per drink😲, we spoke with manager and he did remove the charges. Parking is horrendous and expensive $35 for 3 hours

Jace J: Amazing views, great personable staff. I was made a special cocktail and it was great ! Only thing is they do not accept Apple Cash . Just came for a quick drink and some computer work . Definitely a vibe . Great for lunch and dinner dates

Aya Medhat: Our hostess Tantalia suggested the pizza and chicken wings for our dinner and they both were great. The pizza is a must try was one of the best We’ve ever had. My son insisted on saying thank you to Jason the pizza chef.

Rod Thompson, MD: Awesome view. Brunch selection was good but not great, BUT the food was really good. Deb really was an outstanding server and made our brunch an incredible experience. The bottomless mimosas are definitely worth a try, especially since they have different flavors. I will most definitely eat here again.

Ria: The atmosphere of this place is great! It’s located right by the water and is just the perfect spot for the summer. I’m not sure who the bartender is the day I went but MAN, give them a raise. I asked the waiter to tell them to make me a sweet and strong drink. The first was a pineapple mint margarita and it was sooo good. The second was a strawberry margarita, with fresh strawberries! So awesome. I had chicken tenders and fries. The fries were good but the chicken tenders were a bit dry and underwhelming. At night, if you’re sitting outside they have a beautiful fire pit. I’d definitely visit again!

Whiskey Charlie: what do users think?

A Sabbagh: A very cool rooftop bar just overlooking the marina! The vibes were amazing, staff super friendly and prompt. We were a group of 7 and we just walked in (first come first serve). The views are amazing! They serve a quite good variety of drinks with not so much options of food as it’s not a restaurant, but we had flatbread pizza, marinated olives, ahi tuna salad and they were great. Recommended!

Corrin Fleming: Delicious mezcal cocktail and a lovely view! Friendly, skilled bartenders. A nice place to stop after the theater.

Katze Love: This is a fun rooftop bar with a beautiful view. The drink menu had a lot of variety and the food was good. Not a ton of food choices but that’s because it’s primarily a bar, not a restaurant. We got wings, flatbread pizza, marinated olives, and cheesecake. All very delicious! Cool spot to grab food and drinks after a day on a boat :)

Casey: Absolutely loved coming here! The drinks were fantastic and the bartenders were so kind and helpful. It is self seat and first come first serve, which I loved. Beautiful views of Virginia and the Potomac river. Definitely would come back here again ☺️

Sincere Johnson: The view from the rooftop is beautiful. Great vibe, good food, good drinks.

pooria riahi: This bar in my opinion has one of the top ten rooftops in DC. The view to the wharf waterfront and beyond is amazing. You can catch a nice sunset here. As far as the quality of food and cocktails go, this place serves you something good. The prices however are above average in DMV area.

Blue Duck Tavern: what do users think?

Michelle Wiciak: Absolutely phenomenal. This place has the best duck ever. Honestly, everything we had was amazing--from the charcuterie board to the horseradish potatoes to the chocolate peanut butter cake. A well-rounded meal. Not to mention, our waiter did an excellent job at recommending our wine selection and paired beautifully with our dishes. Just an amazing experience and will come back when we are in the city again.

Tilak Kalaria: Blue Duck Tavern in the Park Hyatt is an amazing dining experience. The ambience and the service match the excellent cocktails, wine, and cuisine. You truly get what you pay for and you do pay don’t get me wrong but WoW everything tastes excellent and the service team’s attention to detail elevates the experience. The bone marrow and the duck were my favourite dishes to name a couple. Intriguingly delicious was their house bread with olives! Excellent dining experience that is worth the price. Cheers.

Kim Nguyen: Wow. We were so impressed with the quality of the food here. It’s my first time in DC and after a bit of researching for fine dining restaurant, we decided to try Blue Duck Tavern. I was able to make a last minute reservation for 2 at 8:30pm. Their bone marrow and duck breast were so bomb. The service was amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Jerry’s Adventure: Service, value, flavor it hits all the marks The short ribs were tender and melts in your mouth. And with a smoky flavor 👌 the egg 🥚 is cooked perfectly as it gives a creamy texture to the dish. The biscuit holds up with good structure, but it’s flavor may not be as accentuated as it can be (mostly herbs) and can use a gravy. Pancakes were fluffy as expected and presentation is beautiful 😌 Overall a must go in DC area

Vivian Cheng: Went for lunch. Food is solid, well-executed. We had the cured ocean trout (delicious!) and the kale salad (perfect) with two entrees. Crab cakes are large and delicious. Well seasoned, paired with a salad. I had the confit duck leg. Flavorful, succulent, with a beautiful crispy skin. Sadly, we were too full for dessert. Well-worth a visit.

Tamila Torab Eghdami: It was my first time eating duck. The food was absolutely delicious! 😋 The service was amazing. Too bad we didn’t have time to go back for the second time but next time I’m in Washington definitely we’ll go back. We also tried their apple pie with tea and it was the best apple pie I ever had in my whole life. This restaurant worth your money and time!

Amer Alsamman: Went for our anniversary. The staff were curtious, and friendly. Our waiter went above and beyond to make make our experience great The apple pie was amazing. I had the beef rib which was good but had more fat veins than expected.

Farmers Fishers Bakers: what do users think?

Ardavan Tookaloo: It is a very cozy restaurant and bar. There is option to seat inside or outside with heaters for winter. Servers are so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is good. The food is fresh and tasty. Drinks are good too. Just remember it is always crowded and packed. Even if you make a reservation you might still wait for another 45 minutes and that’s what has happened to us however the hostess was so kind and offered us a couple starters on the house to cover for the delay. Update: the more I go here the more I love it, specially the crews and managers! They are the best! Last time/night we were there late to celebrate a birthday and we ordered burgers with fries, after 15 min our waiter came back to us informing us they are out and offered us free desert to make up for it! The food is great as always but these kinds of attitudes and kindness is something we love and respect. Thank you guys we had a great night with great deserts! The chocolate ice cream which I believe is home made is a must to try! Super delicious!

Kenzi LA Toy: A beautiful environment, the ambience was amazing. The server informative, but the orders compromised and wrong. I ordered the Honey Pot Chicken with fries as ah replacement but had the remind the server of my request because I received the original order with grits. Once I did get my fries there was hair added to my order. It was irritating! They finally brought out my fries and ah manager. The manager comp. Us dessert but part of the dessert order was wrong. All in all, in patience and understanding we had ah great time! Please note - everything here is made fresh. So ordering a soda means canned and no free refills! Just saying... #ᑕᕼOOᔕEᕼᗩᑭᑭY !

Kent Brackin: Great food and drinks. Everything seems to come with a mint topping so if thats not your thing might want pay extra care to the menu. There was plenty of seating when we went for brunch but i would suggesting making a reservation because it started to fill up over the two hours we were there. Breakfast stops promptly at 11 AM so make sure you plan according if you want try their amazing waffles! Bathrooms only have 3 urinials/1 toilet for male and two for the females so a line can quickly form trying to go. Waitresses/waiters seem really knowledgeable about the menu items but sometimes their response time can be less than ideal especially once the restaurant starts to feel up, but overall o had a great experience and look forward to going again!

Tina Marbury: The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was admirable. The server arrived with a smile and an eagerness to assist and please our first visit here. The food although amazingly plated arrived tepid and bland. However, the alcoholic drink served was very good.

Y Li: This is a nice and vibrant American restaurant. We opted for the outdoor lunch. Highly recommend the Mussel Pot in White Wine & Garlic, serviced w. their specialty rustic white boule bread, fluffy and lightly chewy, perfect balance dipping in the wine sauce. Shrimp fries and biscuits are tasty. Our lady server was warm and considerately brought one extra pot of hot water for the green tea pot to be shared.

Jessica R: I was really excited to eat here based on several recommendations. However, I was a bit disappointed. We had breakfast here on a Friday morning and it wasn’t very busy when we got there. We still had to wait awhile on a table which we were okay with. I got the chicken and waffles and I felt as though for the price I was paying the piece of chicken was rather small and I maybe received a teaspoon of gravy. The chicken was also mostly breading and not a lot of meat. I also didn’t get any butter for my waffles and the waffles were just room temperature at best. The service was rather slow throughout the meal and unfortunately when you are waiting on something for your food (like the butter), then your food gets cold. I also got a Bloody Mary which was mediocre and slightly watered down, but I am kind of picky about my Bloody Mary’s so it was just one I didn’t like as much as others I’ve had. I am still giving three stars because my mom enjoyed her meal and didn’t have any complaints about her food. She just did the “build your meal” option and thought it was good.

TexCat: WONDERFUL lunch here. This is a great spot. Trendy restaurant with a cool vibe. Great service. Wonderful food and drinks. Ordered the mussels in wine and garlic sauce. Truly one of the best dish of mussels I’ve ever had! The accompanying bread was marvelous also! Couldn’t resist the bread pudding 😋 Highly recommend

Hawthorne: what do users think?

Fee Pauwels: The Mission group is great! Hosted a birthday party here last weekend and it was such a smooth process. We booked the first floor of Hawthorne. They made us a birthday sign, helped point people in the right direction, and the bartender was awesome. He was super nice and patient with 80 people in the room. Great variety of drinks for a party as well! Highly recommend if you’re looking for an easy spot for an event.

Nia Bright: The food was okay, a tad bit to salty. I ordered the chicken tenders with waffle fries. I also had bottomless mimosas as my beverage. Their rooftop spot was cute.. service could’ve been better.

Justin Hwang: Rented out the rooftop at Hawthorne to celebrate my birthday and had the best experience! The blocked off my own private section and even had a "happy birthday" sign. Plenty of room for all my guests and the bartending on the roof was great. Will definitely host more events here.

Erin: The Roof Top is a fantastic place to host an event. We did a happy hour mixer for my law class (ages 22-60) early on a Friday night. Great selection of discounted drinks and apps, safe and clean atmosphere, and they let us decorate! Will host again next year!

Tanner Gildea: Emailed two days before a work happy hour, as a I realized Hawthorne is only open Thursdays to private events. I was in luck! We got the whole top floor, no minimum, no card down, nothing - service was great, prices reasonable, and management easy to work with. Highly recommend if planning a casual happy hour or the like.

Bridget Bartley: I was able to easily reserve their first floor bar for my birthday party on a Saturday night. Could not imagine this night having gone any smoother! It was perfect, and the staff at Hawthorne were so easy to work with!

Lara Wilson: We held a corporate happy hour at the Hawthorne recently and really enjoyed ourselves. We utilized the rooftop and had the whole space to ourselves. The food was delicious and bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Alvaro H. Torres: Amazing view and I would highly recommend it. The sunset was amazing and the food was delicious. I had a memorable experience and enjoyed it spending it with my wife and first born. If you are in the DC area, this is a must stop for the Watergate scandal and for the rooftop bar.

Adam Galazka: Amazing views at night. Service was great. Drinks were great as well. Definitely a little pricey on drinks but probably expected in a hotel. It did close at 1115 on a Friday which seemed a little early for a Friday night. We will definitely come back.

Claus R B: The view of this place is just AMAZING! Perfect for special occasions, we had a wonderful lady helping us to choose the appetizers and she was right...the shrimp is great and if you are hungry order the pizza. Drinks are expensive but worth it.

Zeeshan E: Booked a table for 3 a few months in advance to make sure we get a good view as we expected experience. The issues are simple but shocking. Started a boys weekend off by visiting this embarrassing place. 1) We were seated somewhere around the side towards the back on old wicker seating with no cushions. Be warned not all seating is good. The chairs are low and you have to stand to get a view. Some towards the front bar area seem nicer. 2) We waited 50 minutes for one round of simple drinks. @$20-$25 each for vodka and ginger beer or rum and coke. Our reservation was at 5PM hardly a crowd. 3) Waited another 40 minutes for food. Basic pizza and fries another $1xx. Total was over $200 and auto gratuity lol what a joke. We will NEVER ever come back. Terrible service, grossly understaffed and over priced. We will personally go out of my way to make sure everyone knows NOT to waste a second in this place.

Denise: I felt the previous views were unwarranted. This one of the best rooftop bars in DC. The view is amazing, service was professional, and drinks were on par. The prices are about right with other high class rooftops. I will be coming back here again soon.

Matt Ryder: Had the audacity to cancel a reservation we made weeks in advance the day of “due to a private event”. Note to management: if you’re going to be so bold as to tell all reservations they will be charged $50/pp cancellation fee for any reservations cancelled within 24 hours - you should do the same should the tables turn. Will you be paying me $100 now due to your lack of proper scheduling and communication to your guests?? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Maxwell D.: Frankly, really disappointing. There is so much potential here to be a destination bar and they absolutely squander it! The cocktails are $18, served in thin plastic cups, and of the same quality that you’d get at a cheap late night college bar. The food, which is hilariously overpriced, is also average at best. $29 for two pitiful skewers with overcooked steak on them and a $26 7 Eleven pizza with some olives and banana peppers thrown on it. The service was below average as well, with servers disappearing for long periods of time, employees literally throwing drinks off the roof, and an otherwise pleasant hostess that waved us through and advised us to sit anywhere despite having a reservation. The ONLY redeeming quality of this bar is the stunning views of Georgetown, Arlington, the Kennedy Center, and the low flying aircraft on approach to DCA. DO NOT come here expecting quality concessions and cocktails, or even decent service.

sdgainesdc: Limited menu, pricey, staff seemed pretty helpful. Not a place I would go too often but it was a special occasion.

Will Normand: The rooftop was practically EMPTY, and it was just 2 of us and we wanted to get a drink at the bar. They insisted we "check in" at the host stand prior to going to the bar, which insanely took around 8 minutes per group. Literally took 15 minutes of standing in line at the host stand with barely anyone in front of us to be able to get a drink at the bar. The host had zero sense of urgency, handled everything as slowly as possible. Very disappointing experience. Once we got to the front, they said we needed a reservation just to have a drink at the bar. Horrible, will never be back
