Vintage Glam Tea Party & Co.: what do users think?

Aliyah S.: We hosted a bridal shower for a friend and it was a fantastic place to have it. We planned for 30 people which was perfect for this location. Some did not make, but we had a great time either way. Everyone that came loved the place! They all had great things to say. It was very affordable and a good location. There is only street parking. Robin, the owner, is a very lovely person and she did a wonderful job helping us with what we needed. I would definitely use the space again!

Brianna Creedon: I’m so happy I found this hidden gem! I was planning a bridal shower for one of my best friends and the venue was great! The food was delicious and decorations were fabulous. Robin was super helpful. So many guests came up to me raving about the venue and how great it was. Most importantly, the bride loved it and was very happy! The store is great too! I got a few things for my new office. Thank you Robin! Would definitely recommend anyone looking for an unique venue for an event to check this place out!

Faryal Babar: I had a wonderful experience of renting teacups for a tea party from Vintage glam . I must say Robin is a very fine lady and she knows how to treat her clients . She has a very fine collection of China and above all she has the best attitude . I even happened to see her tea room. It’s a beautiful room with reasonable pricing for renting it or her other offsite rental packages. Highly recommended 😊

C. R.L: Amazing place, amazing owner! She takes absolute pride in her business and customer service relationships! She has absolutely everything you would ever need for a tea party inspired event. There is no other place like it!! It was truly a pleasure working with Ms. Robin!!

Diamond Herring: I attended my Sisters Babyshower today and the Owner was very ill mannered. She had to many restrictions as to how many guests you can allow, what foods you can and cannot bring, and the duration of the event. The owner specializes in tea parties and tried to set up a Babyshower with the same equipment she uses for tea parties. Her plates where dirty, the silverware was rusty and old and she expected us to use her unclean supplies to eat with. The owner “ROBIN” was very unaccommodating and the nature of her work environment was odious. She handled disreptancies in an unprofessional manner. I tried to have a civil conversation with the lady and she completely shut me down and told me I’m not her client and she doesn’t have to address me and deal with me. This owner threw tantrums in front of her “clients” guest and was even rude to the guest attending the event. However throughout the event she looked to me to help with things, yet I she claimed she didn’t have to deal with me. She assaulted me and after telling her too not touch me, she decided to shut the event down before the event even ended. She even called the police and blatantly lied about being threatened, which she was the one doing the threatening. If you are looking to get your moneys worth and have an enjoyable event, please choose another location that will consider your needs and wants and treat you with respect, unless you like Tea Parties.

Patricia Miller: Nice quaint place for vintage tea party. Finger food and vision board party was great. Purchased beautiful tea cups in downstairs store.

Jalan W B: Hosted a celebration for families there last weekend. It was really nice. We reserved the rooftop and semi private space. It was awesome. The staff (Danielle and Robyn) were super helpful with setting up and clearing things out. Minimal decorations were needed because the party space was so beautiful. We will be back 😊🌟😊

Lauren Dreyer: I can’t say enough good things about The Lane. I’ve recommended it to dozens of local friends, and even to some out-of-towners when they come to DC with kids. It’s an amazing space for kids that, most importantly, is GREAT for parents too! As apartment dwellers, we are always venturing out of the house for more stimulation. The Lane is so much fun for our daughter, who adores all the toys and activities and play spaces. It’s one of those amazing, and nearly impossible to find, spots that has enough to keep kids of all ages entertained for hours. And we parents enjoy the coffee and beer and rooftop deck and sunshine and clean, safe, creative, and thoughtful space within which to let our daughter roam free! It’s a great alternative for winter or rainy weather, but we love it so much that it’s become a regular part of our weekend routine, even when the weather is nice!

Trevor Diaz: Full disclosure: I am heavily biased in favor of The Lane because of a deep seated desire for it to thrive. In simple terms, there’s nothing like it anywhere within DC for parents and kids. If I’m not mistaken they just, and I mean only just now, opened and everything shows so much promise. It’s open, it’s friendly, it’s terrifically accommodating, and it’s also so very shiny and new. The owners have a Herculean task ahead of them with regard to long term maintenance. I am hopeful that guests will maintain decorum in an arena that has yet to establish written rules about hand hygiene, where to take off shoes, respecting the elements, and cleaning up after their kids. It is early, it is deserving of a 6-star start. If you live nearby and are searching for anything that’s an indoor/outdoor space for kids and parents you’ve found it. You must come and see.

aiyana poe: Great service, they offer a variety of classes and community involvement for children and families. It is a great indoor playground in the middle of the city.

Insomnia Escape Room DC: what do users think?

Kev- keepingitreal: Great place for entertainment, but this location is hidden away on a side street with a small outdoor sign that is hard to identify. This location has some limited free street parking and a limited paid meter street parking.

Aamiyah Peters: Blake was the best! Very patient, kind and helpful. I had a lot of fun. We played the patient, and it almost got us but we got out with about 20 minutes left. I would recommend for first timers, people who are experienced, and family and friends. Great experience and I would come again. :)

Isaac Moscoso: The mafia room is very high quality and fun! Cleverly put together but extremely linear meaning there are no concurrent puzzles or things that others can focus on while one task is being accomplished which can be counted as a pro or con depending on your preference. We had a good time

Clara Ferrari: Blake was incredible and we had an amazing time! I did a room here 5 years ago and am so happy to have returned, love how they’ve expanded/grown. Would definitely return! Great air conditioning and clean facilities too!

Darius D: It was a good room. But giving 4 stars instead of 5 because some of the items in the room were not working. We lost about 10 min because we were looking for something that didn’t work. Other than the the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Robert Warrington: Did the Mafia Room for a second date, went really well and we escaped which is of course a very important part of wooing someone. Would love to return and try more of the rooms and some of the VR experiences as well. Off street parking was very available and there is quite a bit of food in the area too.

Diana Feldmaier: SIR Sundays are BACK!! It is the best brunch I’ve been to. The buffet style food was delicious, lots of fun, great show, and unlimited mimosas! Bring all your girlfriends, you’ll have a blast!

Alexander Cárdenas: The experience was really good. I enjoyed the night with my friends, good drinks and the music was perfect. However, there was not enough air conditioning and very hot. Other that that good.

B Rene: I have to give Sax 4/5 stars because of my experience. I took my mother here for her birthday about a week ago for the dinner and show. The atmosphere is REALLY intimate/dramatic. Quick bite: they give you some type of flavor popcorn. Unfortunately, the server came around and took the bowl while we still has popcorn in it and didn’t even ask us if we were done or if we wanted more. I just thought that might’ve been a nice courtesy. Appetizer: we ordered the cocktail shrimp (there were four fairly large shrimp. They were seasoned and cooked perfectly! My mom had their blackberry mesculin salad which was really good as well. Neither of us really cared for the vinaigrette that comes with it (too vinegar-y), but their ranch (which I believe is housemade) was really great! Drinks:my mom had what was originally served as a house shooter (They practically give these away) district was pretty refreshing, cool, and crisp. It’s pink, and forgive me I cannot remember the name of it. I had the art of the tease, Which is either whiskey or bourbon-based, but really tasty! Comes with some type of sugar crystals on a stick that’s a little bit longer and thicker than toothpick. Would definitely order again. Dinner: I tried the lamb... not so great. But traded for the Oscar NY strip....BOMB. It came with asparagus beets in the crabmeat. I don’t even know how to explain the flavor in the party in my mouth! But definitely a must try if you plan to visit. It definitely made up for any concern I had about the lamb. My mom had the Chimichurri steak frites. They came up very tender and juicy. Not quite as flavorful as the New York strip, but still really good. For sides (yes, they are à le carte) we had the mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Both really good! Those are probably some the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had in my life! Not sure if that’s a thing, but for me that night it was. Only issue that I had with that was they don’t seem to have enough sides. I took pictures of the menu, so you’ll see what I mean. I just feel like maybe a little more variety would have been more intriguing. Dessert:didn’t really look too appetizing. Again, not enough menu options, and the few items that were there didn’t really spark my interest. Because it was my moms birthday, they did bring out cheesecake with a candle and two glasses of champagne. Not bad. Definitely nice that they were thoughtful enough to bring her something and celebrate with her. The cheesecake that they brought out was really good… Unfortunately I don’t remember seeing that (non dulce de leche) on the menu. Entertainment: They have a different set every 40 or 45 minutes after the hour. Definitely not raunchy or anything classless, But I would not recommend this place for kids under 16 maybe even 18. As this was my first time, I wasn’t really aware that the show takes place kind of at the eye level of the people sitting upstairs, and we ended up sitting downstairs. Still a great deal because the entertainment was also on the floor, but I feel like there were parts of the show that we missed when they were doing floor work in the skybox. We would have been able to see that better if we were on the second floor. Now we know for next time though. Last tidbit: No matter the size of your party or the time of day or the day of the week that you come in, they will be adding 22% gratuity to your bill automatically. Overall, my first Sax experience was great. Definitely book a reservation. They do have a two hour maximum time limit that they claim that they strictly enforce. I took plenty of photos for you guys...enjoy and pay a visit

Daisy de Santiago: The staff at SAX needs to learn the definition of hospitality. Better yet, they need to go back to hospitality school. We used to go to SAX several years ago until their shows became tasteless and raunchy. Then, we recently heard they rebranded their image as a legit supper club, so we decided to try them again. When we arrived, the place only had a few diners and the bar area that they call a “fast bar” but had no bartender in sight. So, we sat down at one of the tables to wait for a bartender to show up and watch the show that started. A service staff (if you can even call her that) walked up to us ask asked if we had a reservation. We said, we didn’t, but that we wanted to grab a drink. She immediately dismissed us and said we cannot sit in that area because the party who reserved it was about to arrive any minute now. Well, as evidenced by my photos below, it had been over an hour and no one had occupied the area where we were sitting. The bar downstairs was never staffed and we were told we needed to go to the upstairs bar to be served drinks. The bartender was the only hospitable person in that entire establishment. Also, when we moved to the other side of the restaurant, this time with our drinks in hand, we were approached yet again by someone who looked like he could be the manager. Rather than offer us a seating where we could enjoy our drinks, he simply told us that we cannot sit at that particular table. This place was a waste of visit. They were rude and dismissive. They ought to take a page out of Stephen Starr’s book when it comes to excellence in service and talent in the restaurant industry. Which, by the way, was where we headed after our time at this wannabe, overpriced, superficial supper club.

Desirea Conner: Sax is always a great time ! I went with my best friend for a pride event and we had so much fun !

Bryan Jordan: Awesome decor and entertainment. Easily spend $200 between two people, so bring your $$$ but the drinks and food were executed very well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great place for a date night, birthday party, or special event. We will be returning again for sure, well worth the trip into DC.

Dani Pass: Never go here. The staff is so aggressive. As a woman I felt so unsafe. I saw their bouncer grab people by the neck and aggressively take people out in an unacceptable way. This person cannot be working there. Brendon, the one working at the door was completely unhelpful and ignorant about this serious situation.

The Escape Game DC (Georgetown): what do users think?

Benjamin Flores: I brought my team here for a Team Building activity, it was great. The atmosphere in the main area was very chill and relax. The chess sets and giant Connect 4 was really cool. The Pirate Adventure was a lot of fun. The whole team had a great time solving the clues and escaping game. I would definitely recommend for team building or just going to have a good time.

Diana: The Escape Game was an awesome experience. We entered with a party of 3 and awesomely had the room to ourselves. We chose the Dr Whack room and we had a ton of fun. This really an awesome experience and the staff is exceptional, especially Hyde. She really brought the experience to next level.

Jacob Jackson: We did it!! We escaped the titanic! 5th escape room. Much smaller than what I’ve done in the past but the fit a lot of FUN into a small room. Cool interactive experience, polite game leader, good hints when we needed them. Relatively straight forward, there are one or two things that I’m not sure you’d get without the hints. Nice rest rooms and lockers. Very neat waiting room. Would love to come back and try more. Not a great parking situation, but hey that’s what it’s like being a city slicker huh. Parking? Who’s she? Amirite

Ashleigh McNew: I’ve played all the games except the pirate one and they are all exceptional. Alex was my game guide today and he was top notch! This location is an excellent addition to The Escape Game!

la Au: Such fun. We are from new jersey and this wasy first escape room ans i was able to escape. The staff is great and helpful with the clues when need. Absolutely recommend and will come back on my next trip to Washington dc.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Tim K: Team members were very good and friendly. Reception area was huge and great for groups. We took on the Egyptian room with two adults and three kids. We’ve done over 50 rooms throughout the world. We finished the 60 minute room in 40 minutes and really felt let down. It was very ornate, but was really worn out and should be retired. Several key components did not trigger or were so visibly worn so you could tell what others did just by looking at the worn paint or materials. The puzzles they had were far too simple and lacked creativity. This felt like a ‘kit’ room and lacked the true love and attention mom and pop escape rooms put into much better escape rooms. One last note… the walls must be super thin. At one point we could not concentrate based on the yelling from the next room over. For this price, and considering they want you to pay for a guaranteed private room, this was a let down.

Julie F: I took two of my classes here for an end of the year field trip and it was a big hit all around. Ash and Alexis could not have been better and accommodating hosts. Most of the students had never been to a room and their audible screams of surprise were a clear sign of how much fun they had. Ash and Alexis walked everyone through the whole process and our game masters were very helpful as well. The space was perfect for us to have our pizza party and booking could not have been easier with the large group helpline. Thank you 1,000 times over for such a wonderful end to the school year. Most of the students fell asleep on the bus ride back!
Response: Thank you for joining us, Julie! We are so glad the field trip was a big hit and that everyone had so much fun! We look forward to your next adventure.

Emily Becker: My son and I stopped in on a whim and were met by the kindest people ever. They were full that night but helped us book a room for the next night. The room was a blast and our guide, Gregory, was so awesome and helpful. Highly recommend!

Escape Artist DC: what do users think?

Teonna Tunstall: The manager/staff member greeted us upon entrance. He was very nice and patient with my family members as we came in one by one. I recommend this experience for everyone! This was my first visit to an escape room and it was a 11/10. I will definitely be returning soon.

Stephanie Wright: This place at first glance looked like someone’s home, but I knew that wasn’t the case because of all the signs that said “ this is not a house that someone lives in” or something to that nature lol( there were at least 3 signs I saw). Then we walked past the kitchen to get to our room(there were things all over the counter.. Everyone knows to clean the kitchen for company). Once we got inside the room and we settled in for the guy to tell us the back story…. I knew this was definitely DIFFERENT. I have been to dozens of escape rooms and what happened next was the first. He turned on the tv and went to YouTube for our briefing… ok.. then directs or attention to a pad on wall that looks like an alarm system. The pad is where clues come up.. sound simple? Nope. Because the clues were pre-made you can’t ask specific questions. There was absolutely no flow to the room and a group of 5 we barely were able to get through anything. Overall, whoever bought this house really put a lot of work into the escape room. It didn’t flow though, just a lot of random clues. Wouldn’t return even for the price. Spend more!

Melanie Stone: My son and I are escape room junkies and we attempted 6 rooms in one day. We saved the escape artist DC for our last 3 rooms. We were concerned because there were just 2 of us and some rooms needed more people. But the host had adjustments in the puzzles to accommodate teams of 2 if needed We had been successful with the first 3 rooms on our quest so we were pumped to see if we could actually do it and escape all of them. We got to the escape artist DC and it is in a little row house. There are no frills here but lots of adventure. We were greeted by our host and he suggested we start with the hardest room first This ended up being good advice since we were pretty mentally-spent after #5 but back to the rooms All of the rooms appear to be really basic but looks can be deceiving. They were all so well themed. The system they use to provide hints was very unique. It was also neat to see new devices and games / challenges. We did all 3 of his rooms but we would definitely do more if/ when they change them up and we are in the area. We did escape all 3 rooms with just the 2 of us. We were physically and mentally wiped out but what an awesome day.

Deb Miedema: We do a lot of escape rooms. A LOT. This felt as much like an escape room as a garage sale feels like a store. Yes, technically, there were puzzles to be solved. The game did not flow. You get what you pay for, I guess. Take my advice -- pay 20% more and get 100% more quality and professionalism.

Michael Lockwood: It was my first escape room experience and I really enjoyed it! The owner is super smart and also an amazing artist. His story on how he started his escape rooms is powerful and will leave you wanting to do more. While the game is usually played with three to four people, my friend and I got pretty far as a team of two. It was a great team building experience for everyone! So, if you are looking for a fun activity to do on a weekend with friends, family, or coworkers, go do an escape room at Escape Artist DC! Find the Escape Artist Within You!

Chris Mullins: My group of six adults completed the Night at the Museum room in April 2017. The experience was challenging, fun, and exciting. Without giving away any spoilers, completing the challenge and escaping the room requires a combination of logic and creativity, for an experience that works both sides of the brain. The puzzles are colorful, diverse, and fun. The owner/designer has created a consistent theme in the “story” behind the puzzle so that the participants must solve a mystery to obtain the key and escape. The premises are very well-maintained with a nice lobby and foyer for the initial briefing (hint: listen carefully) prior to being “locked” in the room and puzzles in the room ranging from simple to highly unique and complex. In the world of growing digital media and experiences, it is great to be able to complete an in-person and hands-on experience like this one. My group found this to be both a great team-building experience as well as gratifying to each of us individually. I highly recommend Escape Artist DC and would encourage groups of all ages and sizes to try it.

Bella Love: Had a blast with my husband and children (11, 7 & 6). It was our first time and although it took a few minutes to figure out exactly where to start, the owner and provided hints were SUPER helpful. I thought it was cute and very entertaining and thankfully with the help/hints were found the thief and escaped (Gallery Heist). I definitely plan to visit again!! 😊

The Mansion on O & O Street Museum: what do users think?

Alita brown: I had such a great time hearing about the history of the Mansion on O. So many doors and rooms. Vintage overload. Love it! I will definitely be back. The owner and his family were so pleasant to us. I hope they were able to take one of sushi restaurant recommendations. Please go and support this local jewel
Response: Thank you for your kind words! So glad you enjoyed the experience. Hope to see you again soon.

Kurt Heuberger: We did the After Hours tour and had a truly unique experience! We spent 2 and a half hours exploring the mansion, and we felt we could have spent more time there (sadly they were closing for the night). I really felt like I could go back the next day and have a completely different experience. If you are in the DC area, I highly recommend the Mansion on O Street.

K A: I visited the historic O museum last week but I wasn’t able to explore the mansion because I got there late. I’ll definitely revisit earlier another day to have ample time to explore the 100 rooms and shop. You can literally spend the whole day there. Make sure to check for the available hours and tours before heading there. I highly recommend to all locals and tourists. It’s a must see!!! Lovely Ambiance ✅ Good Service ✅ Very Friendly And Courteous Staff✅
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words!

Jia Fan: Feels like a giant flee market, with no organization. Rooms and rooms of things piled together. Not worth the Money, especially considering there are so many museums here in DC that are world class and all free. The secret doors sounded cool, but not really…
Response: It seems you may have missed many of our wonderful artifacts and immersive exhibits including the Pop Culture room, Chucky's room, the Log Cabin, Miss USA's crown, Allyson Felix's Olympic running spike, NASA artifacts, rare photographs of The Beatles, Janis Joplin, and Johnny Cash to name a few, movie memorabilia, art, sculpture, and over 70 signed guitars. We are a volunteer-run, non-profit, sustained primarily by your donations. When you visit the O Museum in The Mansion you provide critical support for our museum arts and social justice programs. We hope you find solace in knowing that your visit helped to support the community.

Will Stein: Had a wonderful time at this museum on Saturday, it was quite unique and engaging! I was served drinks from Tameka who was kind, patient and seemed to be effectively running the operation. I purchased a book from 1889 called Carrots and an old Victorian sofa, how fun!

Lakshmi Mahalingam: I would call this more of a flea market maze than a museum. If you like searching for cool things to buy in an overwhelming mountain of junk and you are ok with very tight/cluttered spaces, this is for you. I was disappointed because it was advertised as a museum - which it has the potential to be if the items were curated and displayed in a pleasing way. The staff were absolutely lovely and we did end up buying a couple neat things (book, shot glasses, earrings). I was so excited to visit I even dragged my BF and my mom, but it was a waste of time and $. I would recommend the Hillwood Mansion & Gardens for a truly gorgeous experience.
Response: Unfortunately, it sounds like you missed seeing many of our gems like original artwork by Mersad Berber, Frederick Hart, Gerald Johnson, and others, one-of-a-kind artifacts like Bob Dylan’s guitar when he was inducted into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, Miss USA's crown, a Grateful Dead Rock Hall Induction Trophy, Prince's Purple Rain Jacket, the flag that flew over Merrill Lynch during 9-11, an original letter written by John Lennon, or Mrs. Rosa Parks room (she stayed with us whenever she visited for 10 years). We understand we have a LOT of things to look at and maybe that is not your style — but perhaps it would help you to know the majority of what you see has been donated by our neighbors, friends, and members who open their hearts and give us things to sell in support of our museum arts and social justice programs. These programs support all those who are giving of themselves to serve others so it makes it especially joyful to see people find and connect with our eclectic exhibits.

Pinstripes: what do users think?

Raja Haider Hussain: Went for dinner with family this evening. This location is perfect for a weekend drinks, lunch and dinner. One of the best spots near Georgetown waterfront. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and both options offer a lively ambiance. The staff is very attentive , efficient and courteous. They have carefully selected menu and the food we ordered was served fresh and the quality was above par. Their Calamari, Wings, Pizza, Ceasar Salad, Lasagna and chicken sandwiches were really good. However the grilled chicken with Caesar salad was very dry and not that great. We were also offered dessert on the house ( Brownie and ice cream) which was delicious. Over all a nice hangout spot and highly recommended for a casual friendly outing with good food and surroundings.

Mark Orebiyi: My project team had out quarterly engagement activity at Pinstripes recently. We had a slot from 4-6pm. They give you a 15min grace period which is nice. We started bowling and 30 minutes in our lane started acting up. The lane mechanic came to fix it while me and my team ordered food. The food is fantastic. From the wings to the pizza we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our lane was never fixed. After an hour from when it stopped working we were offer to go play Bocce Ball for 30min prior to use leaving. The Manager (Leo) was very accommodating and cover our bowling cost as we well as you bocce ball game. Although they had issues the food was amazing and they took good care of us.

Fredrik Otter: Generous portions and innovative kitchen. Happy Hour prices are fantastic and the location fabulous. Slow service, but when the weather is nice that is only a plus!

Stephen Balza: Just enjoyed a nice meal outside along the C&O Canal on a stunning July evening. Our server was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food portions (Baked Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich) were on the small side, but tasty and moderately priced. It’s a unique place in a great location (Wisconsin Ave a couple blocks from M St and a couple blocks from the Waterfront). We didn’t try the bocce or bowling but it was full of folks who were enjoying it.
Response: Dear Stephen, Thank you for the five star review. We are thrilled you enjoyed our delicious selection of dishes on our patio. We are glad you enjoyed our Lasagna and Chicken Sandwich. We are glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

Judy Gordon: I couldn’t be more impressed with this experience in DC. From the minute I walked in with my 2 young grandsons until we left I found the staff to be professional and caring. They certainly care about cleanliness and sanitizing which I appreciated. The food was just delicious- we shared a pizza and scrumptious warm brownie with ice cream for dessert. Do not miss it. The boys loved having the bumper rails automatically pop up when they took their turn. They also loved being able to create various scoring games using animated characters. It was so kid friendly. I felt that the each employee went out of his/ her way to make our experience a terrific one. There’s no other reason to go to any other bowling facility to have a good time.

Bri M: It was my first time bowling at Pinstripes. We had a great time. I will definitely return. The food was awesome and the staff very friendly and attentive. Found that the music was a little loud at times but overall it was a great experience. Parking is underneath and accessible off of Wisconsin Avenue which is very convenient if you are not one to look for street parking. Highly recommend if getting together with family and friends interested in experiencing an upscale bowling activity.
Response: Dear Bri, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so glad you enjoyed the food, service and bowling! We hope to see you again soon!

Thomas Weber (halifax9): Very good bloody Marys. Not overly done. Just right. The lobster and egg bruschetta is delicious. Although I would say the bread is unnecessary. Service started slow but got better. A very nice place. Oh by the way, they have bowling and bocce too!
Response: Dear Thomas, Thank you for the feedback. We are glad you had an amazing experience and enjoyed our Lobster & Egg Bruschetta and Bloody Mary. We hope to see you again soon for bowling and bocce.

Angeli Paray: As a new spot, this place gets one star. The service was spotty. Which means she took our order and forgot half of it. She took our drink order and forgot half of it. We weren’t a big group , party or 5. She constantly “forgot to put it in” when we asked for sides to our meals or drinks. It was ultra crowded on Saturday around 7pm. Couldn’t walk. Couldn’t play any games. Couldn’t do anything. This place may very well be over hyped. A ton of young kids were in there I would say 18-19. Which made the location even more u desirable. The coconut shrimp comes with 3 shrimp …. And I ordered a side of fries to go and it was the smallest amount of fries I’ve seen for $5. Worst than Wendy’s or McDonald’s. I felt as though I wasted my money going there. The live music was late as usual. And when they did go on, it was good! I try my best to leave honest reviews and I am very much a real person not someone who’s paid to write bad or good reviews. . @angeli_il
Response: Angeli We apologize for your experience at Throw Social. We aim to give the best guest service and it seems we failed on your visit. Being new we are still working out some of the kinks and with how busy we are on the weekends we are coming up with solutions on how to give better service. We thank you for bringing your issue to our attention and assure you that we are working hard of fixing these problems. Thank you Robert Sweers Vice President The Ginger Companies

Gabby Bonilla: Beautiful (and punny) decor, staff was amazing, and drinks/food were good! We missed our original axe throwing time, but the staff was able to set us up for an open/later time. Just an FYI, if you’re in a team of 2, you’ll be set up with a section of other people (so there was 6 of us strangers at a station). Luckily the people we were with were cool
Response: So thrilled you had a blast with us, Gabby (and appreciated our punny signs)! :) Looking forward to hopefully having you back soon!

Its Me Jessica: This place was so much fun! We did the football throwing! We had such a blast! Got a bucket of seltzers which were also really good. Food was delicious.

Katlyn Lehmann: Such an amazing venue! We came here for a bachelorette party and it was so incredible. The games, band, and drinks made the night so special. Great service!
Response: Katlyn happy to hear you enjoyed our location. Thank you for the review

Tee Martin: Came here to celebrate my brothers going away party and guys (21+) are hard to impress. We booked a cabana and they had a great time with the sports games. Food and drinks were good. Customer service was great! I recommend

Nolan Randolph: Great place to grab a drink. Our bartender, Tom, was speedy and kind. The Throw Social Amber was quite tasty. We sat down and played some games laid out on the table: a game of chess, and some 90’s trivia.
Response: Nolan Glad to hear you had a great time. We will let Tom know hid did a phenomenal job.

Wendy A: We saw Tony Baker and it was extremely funny. The place was clean, great service, and positive energy. It is in the basement of the building.

Joshua Pestaner: This was a lot of fun and the first time my wife and I have been to a comedy club or anything in DC for quite some time due to the pandemic. The place was clean and the show was great and a lot of fun. Just ordered a few drinks during the show. I did fine with my Long Island iced teas 🤣

Arielle H: First time here and saw Chris Paul and HuggyLowDown…very intimate seating and the show was great. Food options are sparse but you’re there to laugh not to dine on a 5 course meal

S Seymour: Easy check in process and no real bad seat in the house. Reserving a table for two or four is a great option during Covid. The nachos and crab dip is actually very good as well as the drinks. TIP: come early to enjoy your food in the light.

Emily Smith: The seating style of this club, packing everyone in close together, seated with strangers, is so great. I saw We Hate Movies perform and the folks seated at my table were so kind and fun to hang out with for a bit. The staff was also super friendly and chill.

Jacob Richards: My friends and I had a blast playing the unlimited games deal, played for a solid 5 hours and never got bored. Staff were really helpful and fun, even played with us. I will definitely be returning.

Caledonia Hamilton: I had a blast with my friends, the game masters were really friendly and the manger Chris ran the place really smoothly and was super helpful

Jonathan Piechur: Had a ton of fun playing laser tag! The facility was large and intricate. There were a lot of kids running around, as there were multiple birthday parties going on at the same time, and you know how kids can be with arcades and laser tag.
Response: Thanks for the review and coming by, if you are looking for less people or an older crowd Wednesday and Thursday or great or try our unlimited play on Friday and Saturday night starting at 7pm.

Didem Y.: Needs renovation and cleaning. Not really well maintained. The laser tag is way more expensive than the other places in VA. People are entering the laser tag area without masks and coughing all the time. Was not safe at all.
Response: Our whole facility is completely renovated with brand new Lasertag equipment in the back. We have also just completed a brand new front counter we also follow guidance by the cdc for our business. Could you please email me at jeremy@lasertag.com with more information and the date of your business. As far as pricing we are competitive with all businesses. Thanks for taking the time to review us.

Melina Peymandar: A group of friends and I go here every Friday and Saturday and we always have a ton of fun! The energy specifically from the staff and regulars is bound to show you a good time and give you a sense of community. Special shout-out to one staff member, Bek. She answers any questions you throw her way and makes sure you have a good time! Always on top of things and super attentive and sweet!! Side note - If you hate the gym, this place will get you in shape for sure.

Mathew Coleman: It was really fun and we had a fun time here definitely recommend going there

Robert H: Great concept and variety, just a condensed space. Loved the laser tag and party rooms!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to review us could you please let us know what we need to do make it a 5 star review, you can reach us at jeremy@lasertag.com

Michael C. Lewis, II: Fun and staff was responsive. Make sure to call as the hours changed, but, you know... COVID Update: remodeled and looking good

Amanda Smith: After a long day of museums and sites, this place was was perfect for my family to relax and have fun. The staff was extra nice, the food was good and the prices fair.

Michelle King: Perfectly enjoyable spot for a bite to eat. Had a decent amount of seating at the bar, several patio tables, and probably at least twenty tables that seat 6 inside. The hush puppies were flavorful and the happy hour deals were $5-6 per item (food or drink). My only critique would be that the tap list didn’t deviate much from basic lagers and wheat beers, with the exception of a couple sours and ciders. Staff was kind and attentive, definitely recommend.
Response: Thank you so much Michelle! Hope to see you back soon.

Sylvia Longueira: I had the worst experience, I made a reservation for bowling and drove from Gaithersburg to Dc just for the bowling experience ( it was my first time I this place) When me and my husband got there they made us wait until other people finished bowling. ( reservation time didn’t care) once the other people finished their time they told me bowling lines were broken and when I tried to talk to the manager She implied that we were arguing because we wanted free food. She was disrespectful and racist. Just because we’re Spanish that doesn’t give her the right to treat us the way she did(she is white). Please don’t waste your money here. It is not worth it.
Response: Oh Sylvia, we all know this isn’t what happened. Thanks for coming! Maybe try our silver spring location next time. It’s a lot closer to Gaithersburg. 😀

Elicia Johnston: Terrible brunch service. At the time we arrived, there were only 2 other tables of guests at the restaurant. Had to ask multiple times for drink refills. Food was pretty good, but the 2 egg brunch only comes with a single piece of toast vs. the standard 2 at most restaurants. I asked for an additional piece of toast 3 separate times. After 30+ minutes, I was informed the second piece didn’t come because it was burned. Gratuity is included, so I understand now that the staff didn’t feel an incentive to provide a higher level of service.
Response: Hello Elicia. We apologize that your experience didn't match your expectations. We don't want to lose you as a customer. Please feel free to reach out to us at your convenience (max@leadingdc.com)

Manush Mobarhan: Pretty nice space for a unique dinner / arcade experience. Not crazy crowded for a Saturday night. The arcade games are pretty fun and not too expensive (around $1 per game). Not a super large variety of games and in a pretty cramped space but okay enough. The games did have some issues (a couple out of order, a couple working but slightly broken). A recommendation would be to give diners a card indicating if they’re off playing games/to not clear the food because understandably it can be confusing for the servers and they cleared our half-eaten food while we were off playing. But overall a satisfactory experience and I would come back!

Miggie Garcia: I have been to this restaurant twice. I think it’s a fave for my little brother as it is always his idea. The food is alright to be honest. They have a limited happy hour menu but the beer was good. This last time I visited I had the nachos with no protein/meat. I love salty/savory foods so that amount of salt on the tortilla chips was perfect but I can see how it would be considered salty for someone else. They have a small arcade style section with mini bowling too! I haven’t played the games but I always see networking events or after work events happening which is cool. No one under 18 is allowed without an adult which is nice too. I would come back to this place. The goes test is really nice and so is the wait staff.

Isabel Bracho: Fun place for a fun night! My husband & I went as a fun date night as walk ins. There was no line and we ended up having the lane completely for ourselves. The coach/instructor was very attentive and helpful throughout the whole experience. This would be great for bigger events too! We really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely recommend!
Response: Hi Isabel, that's so great to hear you and your husband enjoyed your date night throwing axes with us. Thanks for the recommendation and we hope to see you again soon for another round!

Gayle Arrington: We had an amazing time. Excellent way to celebrate my birthday. Coach Dontae was awesome and very helpful. We will definitely be back
Response: Thank you so much Gayle. We're amazed to hear that you had an amazing time. We'll make sure to pass along your positive feedback to coach Dontae. Hopefully we can see you again soon!

Patrick Hewitt: Bad Axe Throwing was a really fun time. When a friend suggested it, we were all a little apprehensive throwing sharp, heavy objects as a bunch of guys with poor hand eye coordination. We ended up reserving a lane and had some basic tutorial from the coach, plus I had watched some of the online tutorial videos on their website. By the end of the night I was able to consistently sink the axe into the target, hitting bullseyes and even the extra small blue dots in the corners. For the environment, there’s not too much to say. When you walk in it’s clearly a place for throwing axes. They had four lanes set up with two targets each of I remember correctly, with tables and stools at the back for people to sit when they’re not throwing. We had a group of 4 so there wasn’t much down time to eat or drink in between throws, but if we had some more players it would have been nice to drink some beers and relax. The sweet spot is probably 6-8 people I think. Everyone agreed it was pretty cathartic, letting issues we didn’t even know we had. I would definitely go back with friends or for a group date night.
Response: Hello Patrick, we're thrilled to hear about your inspiring experience on your first visit to Bad Axe Throwing. It's great to know that we've taken away your fear of throwing axes and are even excited to come back. We're looking forward to your next visit with us.

Christina Plummer: My best friend and I had an amazing time for our birthday. Our coach was Dontae and he was very attentive and patient. We have plans to definitely revisit the establishment again but as a walk in next time around because the cost to reserve a private lane can be quite expensive. Honestly, I believe that customers that reserves a private lane should not pay more money than walk-ins. The required deposit is guaranteed monies versus the unknown on whether customers will walk-in to patronize the establishment. All in all it was a great first experience that has a new customer for life.
Response: Hey Christina, thank you so much for your kind words and feedback. We will be sure to pass along your message to coach Dontae. We hope to see you again soon for another round!

Treedy Chapa: We wanted a fun and different adventure to celebrate my daughter in law’s birthday and chose Bad Axe Throwing. It was the perfect outing. Dante set us up and gave us some quick and short tips. He was terrific. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was so fun, clean, and totally outside the box!
Response: Hi Treedy, we're so glad you had a fun time celebrating with us and enjoyed your experience with coach Dontae! We hope to have you in again soon for another round!

Carla Punch: This place is awesome!! We thought we were going to a different axe throwing place to celebrate my sister’s birthday but ended up at Bad Axe Throwing instead. What a nice surprise! It felt authentic and comfortable. It was nice that you could bring your own drinks and food. The staff was super friendly, down to earth and helpful. We highly recommend Bad Axe! We will be back!
Response: Hey Carla, Thank you so much for recommending Bad Axe Throwing. We are in awe to hear about your great experience with us and to know that our staff treated you well. We hope to see you again in the near future!

Nicole Dunn: My best friend and I went for our Bday and had a blast. Dontee was our coach and was very attentive and entertaining. I will definitely go back
Response: Hey Nicole, we're so glad to hear you had a blast throwing axes with coach Dontae. We can't wait to have you back in for another round of axe throwing fun!

Suzanne Conkling: My husband and I along with two friends came here on a Friday night and really enjoyed our time! It was super easy to book online, learn how to do it, and then just have fun! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity to do with friends!
Response: Hey Suzanne, that's so great to hear you and your friends enjoyed your Bad Axe experience with us! We wanted to thank you for taking the time to rate our business 5 stars. We can't wait to see you again soon :)

Mitko Georgiev: Went for a fundraiser and it was great. Ghe staff was awesome and the music. The only problem is only 2 bathrooms. Highly recommend

Coco Tinsley: Great location for special occasions. They also have spiked gelato stand inside. Great people. Have your event here!

Aaron Kelly: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueHad an event at Studio 52 a while back great staff and a beautiful space. I highly recommend it!Follow me on IG @blackstylematters

Jordan Christopher: Hidden Gem! We were looking for a place to do our annual showcase. We found Studio 52 to be a great urban oasis. The venue is great for any kind of corporate or social event; meetings, launch event, pop-up, holiday party, birthday party, sweet 16 or weddings. Then venue is industrial chic has a great glass door that opens up. You can imagine and do so much there. A lot of venues have stuffy staff, their team are great to work with. Chelsea was super accommodating with our plan and Drew was not only thorough, but cool. Reggie and Eric, the event managers went out of there way to help us. They are super friendly and gave great advice on set up. Antonio works security and is cool too. We plan to do a lot of events at Studio 52.

Rachel Fredrick: Just held a workshop at Studio 52 and the venue is amazing! The staff is exceptional and goes the extra step to ensure your event is successful! Reggie is fantastic and very helpful! Also, the venue is located next to a parking garage which was very convenient for our guest. Thanks again to Chelsea, Drew, and Reggie for the amazing customer service. This venue will not disappoint!

Susan Berry: This place was awesome. The young men that were there were outstanding. They did an amazing job helping us get set up. They had the hall looking like it should have been in Better Homes and Gardens. It was simply gorgeous. They even helped us cleanup and pack up. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Peter Jones: Nice meeting space! Great ambience and great location.

Margaret Brunner: My husband and I held our elopement party/casual wedding reception here and we could not have been happier. The owners, Drew and Chelsea, went out of their way to deliver stellar customer service and were incredibly flexible and responsive to us. They allowed us to get food truck catering (and helped secure parking) and bartending services where we could purchase our own alcohol, which saved us a ton of money. Plus the space is just beautiful - it has an open, industrial feel with a wall made from 100+ year-old reclaimed farmhouse wood. There is a digital photo booth built in that our guests adored and a garage door that can open up, creating a very cool vibe. I would definitely recommend Studio 52 for anyone looking to have a wedding reception, or any other type of event!

Tea with Mrs. B: what do users think?

Meaghan Calnan: My daughters attended a one day Manners Camp here over a school holiday and had the best experience. Not only did they come home bursting with excitement over their painted nails and sparkly makeup, but they also brought new polite phrases and gestures that I hope are here to stay! It was such a memorable day for them and a blessing for us working parents. The space is magical and Mrs. B herself is truly special. We will be back!
Response: Your little ladies are angels! Thank you for allowing them to join us. Your kind comments made our day.

Lindsey Reiland: My mom hosted a baby shower tea party for me at this venue, and it was perfect! Rebecca and her staff were extremely professional and made the experience fun for our guests. We learned about the history of tea and tea etiquette, which we practiced throughout the party. I highly highly recommend this place for birthday/bridal shower/baby shower/etiquette class parties!
Response: Having you all at the tearoom made it all the more wonderful. We appreciate your great feedback - thank you! ~ Mrs. B

Rebecca Siddiqi: My friends and I recently had an amazing private tea at Tea with Mrs B. Mrs B started off the time by giving us an entertaining history of how afternoon tea started. I would love to come back for etiquette classes! The food and tea were delicious, the environment was beautiful, and the overall experience was fun and relaxing. I highly recommend attending a tea here for adults and kids. I hope to set up a kids tea party in the near future.
Response: Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed yourself and hope our paths will cross again soon. Have a great summer!

Jennifer Holder: Beware, she hires helpers without any CPR training, nor is she CPR trained, and she doesn’t believe in food allergies! Beware! I saw this lady feed chicken nuggets to a kid who’s parents said she was vegan, but Mrs. B decided that wasn’t what she wanted, so she made the toddler eat food she wasn’t supposed to have instead of actually serving the diet she sells that they will have. She says it’s going to be a full catered lunch each day at camp, but it’s actually microwaved prison food. Mrs. B is the type to say “well, if you won’t eat this, I guess you’ll starve” and then take the plate away and make the child go foodless and hungry for 8 hours. Also, I don’t think her advertising says it, but this is a Catholic day camp for kids. If your family is anything but Catholic, your children will be berated and driven into Catholicism in her camp. Mrs. B. Hates non-Catholics. If that’s the type of camp you want, the juvenile detention facility might seem too nice.

Anthony Heady: Great place for Mini golf, arcade games, Lazer tag, and several other little things hear and there. Food is great and everything is very cost effective. I have a family of 5 and we all played mini golf and several arcade games for 60 dollars. I highly recommend this place.
Response: Thanks for visiting Anthony and taking the time to post. Wonderful to hear your family enjoyed their outing !

Amanda Lloyd: The place is so dirty, it was disgusting. We were the first party there when they opened and the restrooms were scary gross. I watched them clean the birthday party table with windex… not a disinfectant. Would not recommend if you’re concerned about germs and Covid. They also were not organized or communicative for the birthday party process. It was all over just a mess.

Meghan Allen: I would just like to say that my experience this weekend was wonderful. The place was clean the staff were super helpful and nice. 10/10 will definitely be going back for another event.
Response: Thanks for posting, Meghan.... great to hear you enjoyed your visit.

Prya Rich: We had a great experience here celebrating my child’s birthday. Great customer service answering all my questions. We also enjoyed the arcade and mini golf! Would recommend and would return.
Response: Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your party Pyra - Thank you so much for letting us know !

Eric Parker: This is a great place for the kids to cut lose and have some fun. It’s pretty cool, the only reason I’m giving LOL 3 stars is because they took the arcade out and made some changes to the place that actually takes away from the whole experience. They did add a trampoline area, can’t really go wrong with that but overall it’s not as live as it used to be. I still like to bring the kids here but it just don’t hit the same.
Response: Eric! Thanks for taking the time to post your review! Yes, we have added a trampoline to our list of fun things to do and it's been fantastic. And as Maryland and the world is still battling back these new viruses, we made the tough decision to remove arcade games as it's much more difficult to ensure that they are sanitary before the next child steps up to use them. I'm sure the nostalgia of playing arcade games lives in our hearts, but we're offering families great physical fun attractions and thrilling rides instead...at least for now! Can't wait for you to return with the family!

Akena Smith Metzger: To All The Lol Staff That Worked May 29,2022 For My Son Collin Jr. 4th Birthday Party Was Top Tier, phenomenal, professional, respectful & very hands on With My Son Big Day! From The Time I Arrived I Was Treated With hospitality ! My Party Lady That Handle My Food Setup & My Party I Would Like To Say THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU! I Honesty Wish I Knew The Young Lady Name She Really Deserves A S/O. I’m Coming Back To Lol Station , 1 Day Was Not Enough. Please Book Your Party Here No Disappointments At All ! The facility Is VERY Clean 👍🏾 Lol Station Your Whole Team Blew My Mind I Wish I Could Give Yall A 10 Star ⭐️
Response: Hooray Ms. Akena and Collin!! It's a pleasure to receive your 5 Star review and grateful that you've taken the time to share your experience! Looking forward to your next visit.

Yennifer Dominguez: Attended a birthday party here and it was the wort experience ever! The only helpful staff we encountered was the manager. The people in the food area were rude. The food was awful and service aside from being bad it was SLOW. We were rushed off the table as we were over out time, granted they were late getting the food out. They all need better training. All of these young folks need to learn manners. It you have the means to go to another place please do. This was awful.
Response: Yennifer, your feedback means a lot as we share it with the team and use it to improve. Yes, we hire a lot of high schoolers and, for most, this is their first job. We are investing in the future of many local teens and will work even harder towards their improvement. Thanks for your feedback.

Araseli Chicas: I went today with a Groupon and they said groupons can not be used on weekends so sucks! All the workers are kind and have lots of patience’s I give them 5/5 on ratings. The setting needs improvement and more rides adjustments not much options and you get bored fast. I would just suggest to take your money and go somewhere else where because it’s not much fun after a while. The roller coaster was fun and the bumper cars were cool but didn’t ride well they need to fix little issues as that. But although we had an okay time but sadly I have to rate it a 3/5.
Response: Hello Araseli! The time you took to provide your feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks for the 5/5 stars for Staff kindness and patience!! BTW. we have a relationship with Groupon to only offer the tickets for Sunday play only, when we have more capacity as Saturdays are usually our busiest day. For now, we only open on Saturdays and Sundays. We are constantly working to improve our operations and hope you'll return to see the differences made since you last visited!

Monica Jones: Overall idea of the place is great. My issue with this establishment is paying to get in and filling out the waiver. Needs better organization more computers for customers to fill out waiver and more lines for the customers. The entryway gets super crowded with patrons especially on the weekend.
Response: Hey Monica! Thanks for your thoughtful feedback and suggestions! Guess what? We actually took it! We have modified our front desk flow so it is much smoother and less crowded. Please come back soon!

Shakeala Queen: The attractions look more exciting online than in person.... I had a party for my 3 year old and there was nothing for the little kids to do.... a total waste of $400 but the customer service was excellent...

Angel Jones: The thought and concept of this place is great but the staff makes this place subpar. The front desk reception and the young man manning the laser tag were awesome but the ride attendants had funky attitudes. Also the place is huge and they have alot to offer but not enough space for the activities. The bumper cars have about as much space as a shoe box. Cute place but not worth the travel and the price.
Response: Thanks for the time you took Angel Jones to provide your review that LOL Stations definitely has a lot to offer in our huge space and that you had great encounters with some staff members! We're constantly working to develop new and some new to the workforce staff to achieve high standards through modeling of long-time staff. Hope you'll choose to return as we're constantly changing and working on improvements!

Swingers crazy golf - Dupont Circle: what do users think?

Tim Kocher: This was a fun experience all and all. We got the package that was for 2 games of 9 holes a meals and 4 drinks. It ended up being about $200. The burger was good and the pizza was super cheesey. The bartenders are super friendly and helpful. Good experience for someone from the other side of the country!
Response: Hey Tim, Thanks for the feedback! We hope you visit us again soon. Best, Alisa

Fanta Toure: First time here. Great experience! Super fun course, tasty margaritas, and the customer service was 10/10. Michelle at the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. She even pushed our times back when our pizza came out too late. Definitely will come back again for a girls night out!
Response: Hey Fanta, Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear your girls night was a sucess. Hope to see you again soon. Thanks, Alisa

Andrew Harper: Came here for a coworker team outing and really enjoyed it! We each got the $60 package which includes one round of golf, two drink vouchers, one meal voucher, and a dessert voucher. Each voucher had a dollar value that could be applied to your total order, so for instance I ordered two drinks and used two $12 drink vouchers which left me with a balance that I paid out of pocket afterwards. The majority of the cocktails are more than $12 so you can expect a balance afterwards which was a bit disappointing. The food was delicious! Especially the brussel sprouts 😍 it was fun to gold and carry our drinks with us, and the venue did a great job of spacing people’s golfing times apart to allow for social distancing. This would be a great spot for company parties 🙂
Response: Hey Andrew, We appreciate the review. So happy to hear your team outing worked out nicely. Thanks for your feedback on the voucher system and good call on the brussel sprouts! We are excited to host you again soon. Thanks, Alisa

Topgolf: what do users think?

Jay Grant: OMG!! I had a blast! The members of our company pitched in to reserve a bay for 2 hours, even tho it went by pretty fast, we had a great time. I will definitely bring my family to this place to enjoy golf, some sports or drink. The vibe was just right. Drama free! The food was amazing. Great place to bring the family for fun.
Response: Hey, Jay! We're stoked you enjoyed your time with us. We hope to see you on the tee line again very soon! :)

Erica Oliver-Peck: Went there this past weekend for a friends birthday and brought the kids (ages between 12-14). We got there early, as soon as they opened, to get 2 bays next to each other….it is really the only way to get this as their reservations book up SUPER fast and don’t allow for booking 2. Not a big deal, we got there and got our bays right away. From the beginning we were greeted by Ashley (our server) and she explained how everything worked - More so for the kids since safety is top priority. A manager named Step H (I think!) stopped by a couple of times and even brought my friend some free birthday donuts with flavoring you can put in and on them….we were caught by surprise! (In a very good way) that was so thoughtful and made the experience even better. The Operations Manager also stopped by too and was super friendly. The food and drinks are expensive BUT good. For a family of 5 and rental of 1 bay for 2 hours we spent about $250. My friends had a family of 4 and spent about $150. This is most def not a cheap adventure but a fun one. The staff was on point and VERY friendly and attentive. I would 100% recommend this location!
Response: Wahoo! We're so glad to see that you had a fun time at Topgolf National Harbor, Erica. We hope that this can be the beginning of a beautiful relationship… Come back soon! :)

Christian Doza: Absolutely Horrendous experience at the Oxen hill location. Food took 45 mins to arrive! There was no hostess for the indoor dining nor help at the front desk for quite a while when we had arrived. No tables were cleaned. They had put in a reservation for our booth/ gate outside just to tell us last minute we wouldn’t be able to play and eat there due to it being a certain time before closing (which is understandable) but why didn’t they just tell us we wouldn’t be able to get one from the beginning knowing it’d cut past a time that’s too close to closing? It would’ve saved us the 45 mins we spent waiting on our food that had come out cold.
Response: Hi Christian. Thank you so much for leaving us this feedback... We're always looking for ways to improve our Guest experience. If you wouldn't mind reaching out to us via www.topgolf.com/support-go, we'd love to learn more and make this right!

Janelle Denae': Highly disappointed!!! During my visit my partner registered online . Upon arriving, the host stated that he should receive a text, which never came. He ended up having to change his number with several staff members at the front desk . Thus causing our reservation to get cancelled because we “missed” the text (which was continually sent to the wrong number ). An associate even stated that she couldn’t change his number, yet the manager came in and changed it the last time and another team member changed it when we first arrived . Overall we waited over and hour to get a bay due to this. Once in our section we saw the “this area has been cleaned and disinfected” sign which was not true. The seating area had old food/ cake on it, the floor was wet and sticky and the table was not cleaned off . Ensuring that the bay was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to issuing out to us seems as though it should have been top priority to the staff, however, Because of the lack of cleanliness, I question was it even sanitized ? We are still dealing with the COVID 19 pandemic and for myself and my group to patron this business while still in a pandemic, I expected the staff to put their customers health as a top priority and I do not feel like it was . If the area was not disinfected and cleaned properly prior to us getting to the bay, who knows what we could be exposed to from the previous party! We had a team member get it cleaned but it was highly unappreciated that we lost time on our game because we were too busy getting an area cleaned that should have already been cleaned and disinfected prior to issuing out to a customer . Continuing on, we had several food and drink mix ups, extended wait times for drinks and food, and just an overall unsatisfactory experience . I think that the staff needs to be trained on customer service and be attentive to customers during their stay with Top Golf. As a new customer to Top Golf, I was left very dissatisfied with the quality of service provided at this location and unfortunately would not recommend based off of this experience.
Response: Hi Janelle. We would love to hear more about your experience and be given the opportunity to make this right. Please reach out to us via www.topgolf.com/support-go at your convenience, so we can get the ball rolling to correct this.

Shavonta Green: Always a fun place! The Sangria is very tasty! Service was ok.
Response: Thanks for the great review, Shavonta! We're always open to feedback, so please shoot us a note with any thoughts on how we can improve: www.topgolf.com/support-go

Rosebar Lounge: what do users think?

Lane McCall: Pros - Clean environment - Beautiful aesthetics - Great lighting effects - I got compliments lol Cons - Most bartenders are rude - $20 cover (cash only) - Venu is small and cramped - Music was severely lacking

Carson Goff: Come to this bar if you want to fear for your life. Worst crowd of any bar in DuPont. Avoid at all costs.

Tracey Hart: i fly down to dc once in a while to visit friends and family and was very disappointed to learn this place was boring and colorist. They apparently dont hire women of deeper complexions and their waitresses are online arguing, being fatphobic, and unprofessional. I could never do that and expect to keep my job but of course this place has no standards so im not too surprised. Spend your money somewhere else.

Google User: Guess you gotta be a somebody to get a table or section here, I reached out way in advance before my birthday letting them know I was interested in getting a table for when I come celebrate my birthday. Someone responded asked for my contact info, left me on read and never heard from them again. It would’ve been my first time in DC and my first time going here.

Shaneaka R.: The music was great in the room all the way to the back. Loved the decor on the ceiling. You must have to reserve the hookah because it was sold out.

soccerqueen181: Not professional! From the hiring process to the social media presence they do not know how to conduct business. They also refuse to hire women of color which is confusing because DC is referred to as chocolate city. Definitely take your business elsewhere because they need to actually learn how to run an establishment properly.

Ed E: This place is a waste of time and money. Bad music, overpriced drinks, they want to charge a lot of money to get in, bully bouncers pushing people because they feel less in their small brains, small space. There are many other options in DC than this awful place.

Brandon Jones: It might very well be awesome, but when I went, it was deadlocked in the back bar.
