Behzad Taimur: They can host your event on their rooftop - Which is just amazing. Spring and onwards, it's a great idea to have an evening event here. From the roof, you get the architecturally breathtaking Union Station right in front of you. You get views of the Capitol Hill and surrounding buildings. It's just a fantastic place to be!

The Observatory at America's Square: what do users think?

Mark Vallaster: View is fantastic. Food is good but slow

C F: This venue is absolutely stunning. It’s been several months after our wedding and we consistently still have guests telling us how beautiful our ceremony venue was. It has a breathtaking view of the Capitol and is extremely well maintained. We fit our 160 wedding guests under the provided tents for our ceremony with room to spare. Suzanne and the entire staff were a delight to work with and they really saved the day by accommodating us by scheduling a tour and our event very quickly after having our original venue cancel only 5-weeks before the big day.

Kimberly Kruse: Gorgeous views

Bob Rose: Great venue that did a very good job with the Brewers Ball, helping to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.

La-Kia Kommeren: Came here for a private event to celebrate Koningdag.

Karen: Beautiful location for a meeting or celebration. The river and island views are spectacular

Ralph McLean: Beautiful building in a great spot. Have been here multiple times, and it is very well kept.

Diane McConnell: Fantastic event space. Went to a spectacular birthday party.Wonderful staff walking around with food and nice bar.

John R Johnson: I attended a DC Lottery event at this brand new venue Wharf Dockmaster located at the Wharf South West. The place is spacious for birthday celebrations, wedding receptions and anniversaries. It has great views of the Potomac River and the National Harbor in the distance.

Cesar Camacho: Amazing views and great location at the wharf.Definitely an interesting location to hold an event.

Robert Strelser: Fantastic facility. The Wharf area is fantastic. Parking is expensive.

Amanda Traver: Super neat wharf!

Nahlah Melaih: Very disappointed in their service. They don’t respect their time nor their clients.

The Showroom: what do users think?

dipika: Really cool venue for a DIY wedding. There's a perfect enclave for a live band / dance floor with seating all around. I don't know if the bar & food setup was designed by the venue, but that's the only part confusingly setup. The lighting they supported was super cool.

Ian Furlong: Nice space in the heart of Dc for Events etc.

Rachel Tuchrello: This was a rip off. Paid for tickets that said they included food and drinks and that there would be several bars and food stations. There was ONE small table that served as a bar and one small food table. Stood in ‘line’ for an hour for drinks, didn’t even bother waiting for food. Much smaller venue than expected. Would not recommend. For this much money you could go to a better set up event. Very disappointing.
Response: We are not a bar... we are an event space. We do not sell tickets, the client that rented our space did. We did not promise food and several bars, because that is not what we do. If you have an issue with the pricing, the food, or the bar, I would take that up with the event organizer of the caterer (neither of whom work for or represent us).

G. Williker: This place can definitely pack a crowd, but also had room to spread out. If one venue is your only plan for holiday events the investment in a VIP/Group seating is worth it.

David Bear: Wonderful wedding venue !

Beth Schwab: Great location in the heart of the business district. Large open indoor space to host events with room for other amenities such as catering or a DJ, etc.

Kyle Hollis: It's one thing to find a nice venue. It's a whole other level when it comes with exceptional management and staff. The best venue in the District!!

Dennis Sawyer: Great sound system. Nice atmosphere.

Felicia Smith: Awesome venue! Was here for NYE and loved the location and event staff were friendly.

Jothirnadh Sai: Had an office gathering over here. Really nice place. It can accommodate functions with nearly 200-300 people.
Response: Thanks Jothirnadh! Glad you enjoyed it, we can actually accommodate up to 800!

The Schuyler: what do users think?

SG3 Events: The Schuyler is an impressive and versatile Luxury Event Venue in Washington DC perfect for large Weddings, Social Events, and Corporate Events. The main ballroom, mezzanine, and pre-function spaces are thoughtfully designed with modern furnishings, soaring columns, and integrated lighting. As a Wedding and Event Planner, I appreciate the ease of access to their event space from their clean and organized loading dock, which makes setup and breakdown more seamless for vendors; plus they have a full industrial kitchen which is a huge plus for catering. Their standard inventory of event rentals such as tables and chairs are elevated, modern, and neutral so that they can be easily incorporated into your decor. The sales team is also such a pleasure to work with! The Sales Director Kim Saleik is so kind and helpful, and very seasoned in the industry. She is very familiar with the venue and all it has to offer and works diligently to ensure your event is successful. She has been extremely helpful and vital to the planning of an Industry Event we are collaborating on and I cannot wait to work with her on future events and bring additional clients to the Schuyler!

Afan Haq: Very nice venue and staff. Save on uplighting cost by booking this venue. In house Audio and video as well. We added sound to accommodate number of people for your event.

A. Griffin Events: A versatile, chic new venue in the heart of DC. We love working with the team at The Schuyler who make it easy to plan corporate and social events and weddings.

Albert Rothman: The most versatile event venue in DC. Perfect for a product launch, fashion show, wedding, meeting, and more. They allow you to work with your choice of vendors, don't nickel and dime you for things like basic WiFi, and offer you everything (tables, chairs, china, silver, glassware, buffet equipment, decor, etc.) at no extra cost if you want!

GB Sharma: We have been looking for an event space for a while. The Schuyler was perfect. State-of-the-art technology, clean, and centrally located. I was more surprised by all the safety measures they are taking ( in light of covid-19) prior to / post each event. I definitely would recommend Schuyler.

Joseph Palminteri: Perfectly positioned in the heart of Downtown Washington D.C. the space is versatile and the ideal canvas to create an event that’s as memorable as can be. A 5 STAR 'make it your own' events experience. Look out DC!

Stephanie Miles: Stunning place I attended a wedding here and it was amazing venue is HUGE with a bar downstairs and a 2nd floor overlooking the ballroom

Michael Givens: Stunning space! Unbeatable location! Excited to start planning my event at the newest venue in DC!

Hiren Dhamsania: Marriage ceremony ,we are so enjoy this day.

Nikki: Beautiful and enjoyed the washback!

HQO Events: what do users think?

K Ward: How do you saying "amazing" in two words? BLUE DROP! College Bound had planned our 30th Anniversary Celebration for last fall. Of course, Covid had other plans so we scaled back and did a much smaller event. We promised the College Bound family that we would have a celebration in the spring and worked feverishly to find the perfect venue. BLUE DROP was definitely the answer. The events manager, Love (PERFECT NAME), was a joy to work with at every step of the way. The team on the day of the event were perhaps the most professional and efficient group imaginable. They clearly love their job and made sure that the event was a huge success. Of course, the views are EVERYTHING!

Megan Garmers: Just cannot say enough great things about the location and team at HQO Events! We originally were having a wedding industry event in 2020 but had to postpone because of the pandemic. Lovesha, Fran and the team helped us plan, reschedule, and plan again to make sure all went off without a hitch. The whole team from the security to the facilities staff were top-notch and so helpful even when we had to rework some things because of the rain. The view is gorgeous (even in the rain!) and the space felt open yet had smaller areas to create different types of vignettes. The location cannot be beat with tons of restaurants, the view of the water, and a calming atmosphere to lend itself to feeling out of the city yet in it. I really cannot recommend this venue enough!

Edward Daniels: This past Halloween was my second time booking the HQO space for my company's event. The space is amazing. The guests absolutely loved it. Lovesha was great to work with in confirming all of the details and logistics that I needed. The security team and Anthony were amazing in getting my vendors in and being accessible throughout the evening! I would highly recommend any of the unique spaces at this unique venue for your next event. I can't wait to book again!

Elizabeth DeBarros: We held an outdoor rooftop reception at DC Water in September 2021. The night was BEAUTIFUL and our 200 guests enjoyed it so much as we managed the Covid public health restrictions. From start to finish, the team at BlueDrop delivered top quality service. The software they use to book a meeting; the images and 360 degree view of their space; the professionalism of their staff- all work together to execute the best possible event for their customers. I can't say enough about them and their ability to manage their beautiful spaces. They even let you book indoors if you choose the rooftop in the event of inclement weather. That helps with planning and gives certainty.

Amy Simpson: Amazing venue in the center of Navy Yard. The views are just wow.

Dock5: what do users think?

Narda Nardis: Amazing venue! Great location

Greg Reese: Great place for an event! The event I attended was awesome! Although, I have a bitter sweet thought process about this place because I left my new Canon battery and charger which cost me about $140. I tried to reach out to the staff, but there was no contact as of yet. Overall it's a great place to attend! Mid-October 2018 I have an update to this review! I received my Canon battery and charger back! So not only was this a great venue, but the staff and promoters were responsive to my messages! Which saved me time and money! There were hundreds, maybe even one thousand people that attended that event that Saturday. The office was closed on Monday and I did not really expect to get my equipment back. This really helped me restore faith in people! People are good! and the staff and management at Dock5 are great! I created an issue for my company and they solved it by just giving great service to their vendors, clients and customers! Thank You to the staff and management at Dock5, I appreciate you and your vision for entertainment in this city!! I hope to visit and enjoy your venue again in the near future!

Keshia Roberson: This is a multi purpose space. I've been to two totally different types of events and both times the bathroom was spotless! (That includes being there for a wine and spirits fest...the bathroom could've been a nightmare and it wasn't! #winning) Kudos to the staff for keeping the place clean and to the two events I've been to for picking a really great space.

Frank Mikolajczak: Nice venue. There is not much draw here other than the open canvas and your vision. The scenery is not beautiful or amazing but it allows for a nice city comfort feeling that is hip and trendy. You can really decorate or create whatever environment you want inside the space that offers plenty of room. There is a good Instagram wall around the building for pictures also.

Dru Crawley: Fun event venue, indoor, covered outdoor space. Great for parties

Valerie Chandler: Terrible event! I was invited to The 2nd annual DC Brunch Festival on Dock 5 and it was the pits!!! It was more like a Sardines festival. It was packed, hard to walk around, lines everywhere, plenty drinks and very little food!!! The free glass was dirty and plastic! Parking a logistical nightmare. I had to go next door and pay to eat! This event is for the easily duped!!!

Chris B: Had a fun time here for the Veil pop up event by the Bruery Store DC. It's basically a warehouse space for events. The first time you go there you'll wonder if it is the right place because the entrance is on the back side of Union Market where all the big trucks unload.

K Allen: Basically, a loading dock with all of the wonderful acoustics of a loading dock. The view out the garage style doors is of a deteriorating warehouse with an old diner propped up on timbers that looks like it will fall over any second. Since it is all concrete, steel and glass, just add in a blaring sound system and you have all of the great ingredients for a wonderful evening at this venue. Not.

Amelia and Kelsey: The staff at Dock 5 is incredibly accommodating and helpful when planning the perfect event in their space. We always appreciate their flexibility and the versatility of the space. It will always be one of our favorite event venues in DC.

E Hay (ehay2k): Cool vibe in a hidden gem. There is good food available including some of the best smoked and/or cured salmon I've ever had (and I smoke and cure my own.) Lots of food vendors make this a place worth going back to.

Josephine Butler Parks Center: what do users think?

Liza Greenberg: We checked out multiple venues in DC, but none captured the vision we had for our October 19, 2019 wedding like the Josephine Butler Parks Center. The space is beautiful enough to not need too much decoration but simple enough to be a blank canvas if you wanted to go big. We had 120 guests and it felt both spacious and intimate. Malina was very informative and helpful and has done the wedding rodeo enough times to have answers to every question we threw at her. And we felt especially great about using the Center because we knew we were supporting the Washington Parks!

Joseph Ortega: A classy and elegant old venue in the heart of the city. Spacious and full of rich historical ties to the city.

Aaron Hedquist: I’ve photographed several weddings at the PARKS CENTER. Every time, the venue is well organized, plenty of room for vendors, and the guest seem to really enjoy the multi-level space. You also won’t be able to beat the access to one of the largest (and best) parks in DC. PLUS, the building is run by a local non-profit so a portion of the proceeds go back to doing great work here in DC. If your thinking about having a wedding, corporate, or family event, definitely check-out the JOSEPHINE BUTLER PARKS CENTER.

Jeffrey Harris: Fun event space. Been there for wedding and fundraising/social event. Lovely.

Darrell Grymes: Went there to help with the up keep of My Great Aunt Josephine Center by Malcolm X Park Saturday with my Cousin Kara and Her Son's Justin and Keenan 🙏🏾

Audrey Link: Attended a couple of wedding parties here. Fairly well maintained historic home. Nice staircase in the foyer which is a good spot for photos. There is a balcony (might hold 30)which is a nice place for cocktails in nice weather. There was more than enough room in the dining area for the 150 or so in attendance at the last party. There are 2 kitchens, an upstairs which is a decent size and a much smaller one on the lower level. This provides a lot of room for prep and the fridges help with the cooling of your beverages so not everything has to be chilled on ice. Parking is a little difficult because of the location, but the same can be said for all places in that vicinity. Overall a very quaint location for your event.

Andrew Breza: A charming and historic event spacelocated next to Meridian Hill Park

M U K T I . D E S A I: I had my wedding here in September of 2014 and it was absolutely perfect! The space is gorgeous and we knew the venue was for us the moment we saw it. We had just under 150 people and the space was perfect. Dinner was a little cramped, but other than that the space was perfect. We were lucky and had amazing weather so we are also able to make great use of the terrace. This is the perfect place for someone wanting a DC wedding at a reasonable price. The photo opps are also amazing and if you are lucky and get good weather, the park is so close and makes for great photos as well.

Erin R: Went here for a gala. A historic venue that is perfect for a small to medium sized corporate or personal event! Two stories we’d open for us to gather in. The staircase is beautiful!

Amy Molatto: It's a beautiful venue space with a lot of flexibility especially for a smaller group. It also hosts fun community activities like swing dance and exercise classes.

The Capitol View at 400: what do users think?

Remembered Events: We just had a fabulous wedding at this venue. The view is beautiful. They have a parking garage underneath the building and you do have to go through the lobby of the new stations to get to the reception spot but well worth it. We had around 100 people which fit the space perfectly. Delmy the venue coordinator is so wonderful to work with. The space offers multiple options for your cocktail hour set up. The restrooms are far from the space just something to be aware of. I would suggest making signs it is downstairs or have a designated person showing guests where to go (this was something our planning team did).

Colby Shomaker: This place has great views of union station and the capital. Not the best location and set up to host an event but overall it’s ok.

Michelle with Lieb Photographic: I HIGHLY recommend The Capitol View at 400 for your wedding day! You get so much more here than most DC venues. A longer day, a wider space, a spectacular view AND staff that go above and beyond to make your day incredibly special! It's the perfect location for a fine art DC wedding!

ALANA VAUGHN: What an amazing venue to have any event. It felt like you were on the deck of a cruise ship with the beautiful black drop of the Capitol in the background. It was open air... it was beautiful but when it started to drizzle there was a beautiful canopy that still allowed you to enjoy the beautiful view.

Travis Hyams: We had our wedding of about 100 guests at Capitol View. Our experience was amazing, and we would recommend the venue to anybody that is planning their next event. The view speaks for itself. So, if you are on the fence, just go see the place. Delmy the venue coordinator is a true champion. She is experienced, organized, well-connected, and when the anxiety of planning an event becomes too stressful, she draws on all of these to keep you calm and make sure things go as planned. The day of went off without a hitch and our guests continue to rave about our event! Delmy handled all the décor and the venue looked truly stunning. We hope others get to experience how truly magical Capitol View is!

Kiedra E.: Unfortunately this rating comes from an inability to receive a date to even view the venue. We absolutely adored the space from what we saw online. I reached out to the venue the beginning of January and received little correspondence and after confirming a date finally but, not a time , I waited over a month for a time confirmation email that was promised and never came. This was extremely disappointing. I’m not sure why we weren’t valued or given the usual business etiquette or decency many others have in the past from the reviews I read but, I hope that this experience is isolated and not common practice of this venue.

andrew strycker: I was here for a conference dinner on the rooftop. The food was lackluster and ran out multiple times. the event was by reservation only so it was not as if Capitol View had no idea on how many patrons to expect. The two bars that were on the rooftop were cash only and hard to navigate towards. The bathrooms were also located a fair distance away. After a bit of socializing (like an hour), many of my peers decided to go to another venue.

Katie Hensel: Delmy is a true professional. She manages Capitol View with such grace and patience. When we first looked at the venue, we just knew it was the one. It had that "It" factor we were looking for. We looked at over 20 venues just in DC, including converted yoga studios, hotels, museums and art galleries. The roof of Capitol View, with the air conditioned pavilion and breathtaking views is just in a different league than the other places we explored. Leading up to the wedding, in the year of planning, Delmy was always so quick to reply to our emails and give us helpful tips throughout the process. She encouraged us to come to the venue multiple times to get ideas for our big day and took extra time for our final walk through to ensure everything ran smoothly day of. For the few days leading up to the wedding, Delmy had such patience with us as we made multiple trips to her office to drop off the alcohol, centerpieces, guest books and decorations. We didn't hire a day of coordinator and honestly, we didn't need one with Delmy and her team on site. She ensured everything ran smoothly and checked in with me and my husband multiple times to make sure we were happy and healthy! To put it simply, Delmy knows what she's doing and she does it so well. She brings years of experience which makes her brides at ease and focused on what's important on the wedding day!

Michael Gerardi: Great venue for people who are political advocates and/or patriots

Megan Muñoz: Delmy was very nice but myself and other guests could over see and hear her being unfriendly to the staff and taking down about the wedding party. Otherwise fantastic venue and a wonderful time.

The place is amazing, the exhibit looked perfect, with enough space for people to look at the pieces. Highly recommended to showcase the culture of your country.

Fran Owens: Great location within La Cosecha. Love that it overlooks the open market below. Great space for medium to small events.

Eric Black: Excellent location for smaller events where you can take advantage of the Latin cuisine within La Cosecha!

National Press Club: what do users think?

Austin Graff: Inside a 1927 downtown D.C. building surrounded by deep American history is the National Press Club started in 1908 across the street from its current building. Once only open to white male journalists, the club now welcomes all through membership and public events. It's also a popular wedding venue. I went for a free screening of a documentary film by The Washington Post Opinions section and Ray Whitehouse on a Monday evening. Here's my experience: 1) Space: With a rich legacy, it screams old-school Washington, D.C. from the dated carpet to the media tokens on the walls from statues honoring journalists to old newspaper clippings. The elevators are regal and the bar wooden. There are several meeting rooms and one larger room for their main speaking and panel events. Off from the bar is a dining room with stunning views of the Willard Hotel and Washington Monument. There are plenty of restrooms throughout the floors (the 13th and 14th floors of the building) 2) Parking: For evening events, there's usually street parking for a few dollars along F Street NW. 3) Location: There are plenty of restaurants nearby that stay open through dinner from District Taco to Rice Bar.

Mark West: Quite an elegant and classy building. I was there to attend the James Foley foundation awards dinner. A great place for a high profile event

Angelica Oung: I was lucky enough to be invited by a reporter friend who is a member and I got a shrimp burger. I usually keep to a plant-based diet and this was as low as I could get on the food chain without eating nothing but a salad. I suppose I should say that in this day and age restaurants ought to do a better job catering to vegetarians and plant-based eaters, but in this case the shrimp burger was simply wonderful. I wouldn't describe it exactly as a burger, it was almost more like a crab cake concept except with chopped shrimp instead of pieces of crab and it came with a delicious remoulade sauce. It was of course served on a burger roll that was a nice rich brioche roll with the usual fixings of fresh lettuce tomato and red onion. It came with a hefty side salad too that was well-dressed. Dear National press club I do hope that the next time I visit there will be a decent vegetarian entree. I think the only thing I could have gotten there was the Caesar salad without a protein which would not have been very satisfying. Having said that I still give it a five star for The unique ambiance and the fact that the shrimp burger was extremely delicious. Price was also I thought very reasonable for the area.

Joshua Pritt: My company had a holiday party here and the venue was great. Beautiful details everywhere, very classic feel. It was wonderful to have several separate rooms so you could get away from the party and have a conversation if you wanted to

Malik Siraj Akbar: When I moved to Washington DC for the first time in 2012, I join the National Press Club where I met some of my first friends in DC. It’s a fantastic place at a central location that has almost everything to offer for journalists and communicators. The club offers free breakfast, gym, a great library, working space, discounts on events, and, above all, free tacos evert Friday night.

Caroline Wafula: Beautiful place. Happy to visit

Jim Swift: A great organization dedicated to a great cause. Excellent venue space, great organization for journalists and comms professionals to join, and fantastic food! The Fourth Estate restaurant, with its award winning chef, is open to the public and you should definitely try it if you're visiting.

Mahsa A: Nice event for the launch and talk of Jazan Rezaian’s book. The complimentary book cookies were a great touch.

Candid Camel: Lovely interior. Wonderful event. Cozy and intimate feeling. Would love to attend an event here again.

Mia Speight: Prestigious atmosphere, great catering and awesome production crew.

Oxon Hill Manor: what do users think?

Erin Shields Evans: This is such a beautiful wedding venue, either for an indoor or outdoor event! The manor house itself is gorgeous inside but the gardens are impeccable. Everything is so green and expertly manicured, and there are so many beautiful flowers. The outdoor white tent is well-maintained as well. There's plenty of parking for all of your guests too! The house has a large bridal suite available and a smaller room where the groom and groomsmen can hang. Everyone I spoke with on the phone while planning our wedding here was so kind and helpful, especially Lou Lou, Carla and Betty. Highly, highly recommend!

Claudia Benjamin: We had our wedding here In the morning the views are breathtaking. The house is well kept and the staff is very helpful. If you are looking for a wedding venue or a place to hold a very special event this would surely be one of my picks. We had an intimate 10 am wedding in August with the ceremony seating facing the Potomac. It was fairly hot that day so we made use of the house for the cocktail hour as well as the library to house the cake from the heat. The tent was beautiful and big enough to hold more then our 12 tables and dance floor. The bridal suite is beautiful and gives some amazing pictures as well as the grooms suite. The grounds really do speak for them selves and there is ample parking. If I had to do another event I would surely use them.

jay R.: Beautiful place for a wedding. The food was absolutely fantastic. The wait stuff were very friendly and funny. The decor inside is amazing. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend!!!

Serge Jerome Jr.: Beautiful venue for an outdoor wedding. The wedding was outside on the lawn with the river and green trees on hills in the background. An unbeatable backdrop. The reception was by the pool which had springs and was very clean. It was beautiful all the way around and a great venue.

Jason Dublin: This is a beautiful venue. Gorgeous landscaping, gardens, fountains, hardwood floors and more trees in the backdrop than you can count. This is nestled in between the MGM and National harbor so you can see the ferris wheel in the distance if you stand in the right place. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Only drawback was the small single serve bathrooms (one for men, guessing same for women's).

Sanjeev Sagar: Nice and beautiful venue to host a wedding 💑.

Egypt Edey: Very beautiful and elegant Mansion

Scott Payen: It's an amazing space. The staff was very helpful and polite. I was there to DJ a wedding in August its gorgeous. I would definitely have future events there.

Bob Garcia: This was a wonderful location for my friends wedding! The decor was Colonial and added to the charm of the venue!

Alexandra Ritchie: Beautiful stately home with an amazing view. I was there for a wedding. I had an amazing time. Please note that there is no air conditioning. I felt relieved to go upstairs for a bit where there was an electric fan.

Friends Meeting of Washington: what do users think?

Rihana Bokhari: Friends Meeting of Washington is an idyllic venue for a DC wedding. It has indoor and outdoor spaces. It has multiple beautiful gardens. The interior is stunning, the location is unmatched and the price point is incredibly fair. We were able to have the perfect wedding here and could not recommend it more. Our venue coordinator, Brian, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He made our lives so easy and was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and problems. He went above and beyond what we expected.

Ido Simyoni: I needed a location fir a video shoot so I rented their library room for filming and they’ve been super kind , responsive and helpful. Brian is the mvp. We’ll definitely go back there in the future.
Response: Thank you so much! Great to have you back again today.

Caribbean Caterer: We recently catered a wedding at this venue. The staff was extremely professional and easy to work with. Also, the venue is absolutely beautiful! It is a garden oasis in the middle of the District.
Response: Thanks so much! We enjoyed working with you that day and look forward to having you back again soon!

Kai McCoy: The oldest Quaker Meeting house in the nation, built for Herbert Hoover with the same materials the original White House was built with. This Friends Meeting is powerful in their Work and Message. Any visitors are always welcomed with open hearts. A fantastic place for Serenity and Worship of the Light. Thank you, Friends!
Response: Thanks, Michelle! Our Meeting House was built in 1930 after Herbert Hoover — a Quaker — was elected. The Meeting House includes some old timbers salvaged from an earlier White House renovation. We certainly can't claim to be the oldest Meeting House in the nation. Friends have been meeting at the Third Haven Meeting House in Easton, Maryland, since 1684.

Tom Johnson-Medland: Beautiful space for worshipping and turning within to find QUIET. Building is very clean and the staff so friendly - offering this weary wayfaring stranger respite for thirty minutes of stillness in a busy day. Thank you, FRIENDS! First MEETING FOR WORSHIP in this Meetinghouse was 4 January 1931.

CHARLES LWANGA BANFILA NDIKINTUM: This is the coolest place in DC. Very friendly staff who are all smiles and ready give you all the info you need. Their rental space is the most amazing for wedding and any kind of party. Advicing anyone who needs a cool place for a wedding, meeting, party to give them a call.

Trevor: Lots of very kind, friendly people. This place will look amazing when the renovation is complete. Great place to rent out for any event, from a work training session to a wedding or reunion. Lots of different spaces available to rent for any occasion.

José Woss: Great people keeping the tradition of Friends (Quakers) who worship waiting for the Divine or God to speak. The lives are never silent in the face of injustice.
Response: Thank you, Jose. And thanks for all that you do for peace and justice.

Leonard Eoussa: The doctrine of silence is when you meet with yourself. FMW is a place where you can find this harmonious meeting.
Response: Many thanks, Leonard. We are so glad you find it so. Many find the silence to be nourishing, nurturing, and sometimes challenges--a place to connect with Spirit. All are welcome to enter this experience during our worship hours--at 9 am, 10:30 am, and 6 pm on Sundays as well as 6 pm on Wednesdays.

Machou T.: Nice historical site. Many weddings happen in the garden during months.

Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital: what do users think?

Austin Graff: The Hill Center is a great gathering place for Capitol Hill community events. They offer an array of events from cooking classes, to tastings, to live music and even have art exhibits on premise. A few months ago, Bayou Bakery opened on the premises and it upped their cool factor. Even if you don't swing by, make sure you snap a photo or two as you walk by. It's beautiful at night!
Response: Thanks so much for all of the kind words!

Lindy Campbell: A beautiful place to visit- horrible to rent from. The staff is completely incapable of handling small problems and instead compound them into huge ones. Don't bother complaining the next day- they will simply blame you for the whole thing and probably throw in a couple personal insults as well.
Response: Hi Lindy, Like we said on Facebook, we're so sorry that you had a negative experience. Diana, our executive director, will be in touch. -MM

Pei-Hsuen Liao: Beautiful place to stop by and enjoy the sunshine.

Jimmy Sylakowski: Nice rental center.

Dib Dias: Convention center area, very convenient and well managed. The catering was very good too.

Liz T: Nice space with great location and green/ sustainable practices. Appreciated all the drink and snack options. Wish these guys had more locations nationally. Staff was very nice and location was central to most dc stuff. Food was also very good although there were not a lot of options the food was well prepared and fresh. Lots of health precautions and very clean.

Alin Bennett: Scouted this location for a potential office space for my organization. Absolutely immaculate. One of the best shared office spaces I've ever seen.

Kelly S: BEAUTIFUL space and they sure know how to throw a shindig

Jack Morton Auditorium: what do users think?

Temi I: Great venue with wonderful audio visual set up. Convenient place to host an event

taylor: The actual design of the aud is pretty nice, but the seats go very far to each side, so try to get a seat in the center. The auditorium was very, very cold when I was in it. The audio was good, there is no echo. I’m not sure what the sound is like to the sides.

Keith C.: Saw a presentation about a photographer that went to the artic to study wildlife there. Nice stadium seating in a good area near George Washington University.

Amanda Reiser: Nice atmosphere with an intimate audience section for the stage. Great for different lectures and events

Steve Murphy: Great small auditorium for high end live and broadcast events:

Matt R: Nice venue but I had trouble finding it at first. Needs better signs.

Robert Bunger: Comfortable chairs. Small-medium sized auditorium.

Ismaila Aro: Great place for events

K. Hounkpati: Very place for conference.

Mike Spurlock: Nice room.

The LINE DC: what do users think?

Corry: We stayed at The Line for three nights and I wish we could have stayed longer! Prior to our arrival the front desk staff were friendly and helpful on the phone with fantastic dinner suggestions and tips for getting around via public transit. We arrived early and were expecting to leave our bags at the front desk but the employee was very accommodating and checked us in. The room was lovely. Incredibly clean bathroom and bedroom, a beautiful view, comfortable bed, and very quiet. We enjoyed downtime either at the rooftop mini bar at night watching planes fly in to Reagan air port or during the day on the patio out front of the hotel. Truly a beautiful hotel and spectacular staff. 10/10 would recommend!!
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words as well as your rating! Please come back and see us again soon!

Marshall Daly: Superb location, and very cool building. Rooms are good — certainly better & more unique than a chain hotel, but nothing fancy. Service, however, was very disappointing for this price point. Called room service for an extra set of utensils... never delivered. Front desk called with a non-urgent questions at ~11pm on Friday night, then accidentally called my room at ~6am the following Saturday morning... ouch. Finally, tried to check out the hotel's rooftop bar and later, the "included" rental bikes... only to find out that roof was not open to guests and the bikes were not available. All told, great location and cool architecture, but for this price the service & amenities left a lot to be desired. Hopefully they can improve, it's great having a hotel option in such an excellent location!
Response: Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Sorry for your experience. I am having trouble finding your reservation. Please reach out to me here at the hotel so we can discuss this matter.

Mollie Young: Everything about our experience was incredible. The staff is warm and hospitable, the room was spacious and tasteful (with great city views), and the amenities cannot be beat! We were so excited to use the gym and couldn’t get over equipment options — there’s something for everyone! The hotel restaurant, No Goodbyes, is also a must. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. Definitely have a cocktail at the bar before or after dinner and check out the coffee shop the next morning. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we are already planning our return visit!
Response: Thank you so much for your review! I'm forwarding it to the team as we speak! Don't be a stranger!

Sara Urtz: Our stay was okay, not great. For the price, I was expecting great. There’s nothing really special about this hotel. There was no fridge to keep waters we brought in (besides the minibar which was full of drinks to buy) and the curtains are paper thin, letting in so much light it was hard to sleep. Great location and staff was friendly, but nothing special besides that.
Response: Hey Sara! I'm sorry you didn't have the experience you would've like or got to use the black out shades that are in every room. The chain to use them is low profile and on the sides of the windows behind the curtains. Come back and see us again and we will ben more than happy to have them drawn upon arrival! And feel free to move anything you'd like from the mini bar for your personal use. We have no problem with that. Have a great day.

Dj Theo: Fantastic hotel located in Adams Morgan. Valet parking. The staff was amazing and helpful the whole time. This building used to be church, now it's a fabulous concept hotel w a unique style. Check out the rooftop terrace! Great views of Washington DC! Food is locally sourced and was deliciously served every day. Thank you for a great experience @ The Line Hotel DC !
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words as well as your rating! Come back and see us again soon!

Anna Ponamarchuk: Hotel is amazingly beautiful! It looks like Spanish parlament house from outside and it looks like a design studio from incite! So beautiful! Sweet Rachel was there the the mornings both days I was staying. She rescued my life with all the printing for my embassy apartment. She was kind, bubbly, and so helpful! I have a hotel my self and would definitely love to work with her! Kenny helped me on the phone after I checked out. These guys are great! They complete my wonderful stay in The Line DC Definitely recommend and will come back!
Response: WOW! This truly mad my day! Rachel is the best partner a guy could hope for. Thank you so much for your kind words! Kenny

Kevin Shim: Staff is friendly. Location is good. Room was decent. The Line DC has everything that typically comes with a 5-star hotel. A restaurant, a gym, conference rooms, and valet parking. The hotel entrance is on the side of the building! Keep in mind that valet parking is going to be $59 per night, which may be worth it since it’s difficult to street park in DC. Due to zoning laws, you’ll only be able to street park for 2-3 hours at most unless you have a resident sticker. The area (it’s called Adams Morgan) has a variety of food options, and generally safe to go out at night. At the time of this writing (early 2022), there was a noticeable homeless presence on the streets of DC. Most are harmless and will leave you alone. The hotel room is decent. The sink water gets scaldingly hot, which you may or may not like. The shower head has strong pressure, so the water will give you a massage. Some of the furnishings in the room seem cheaply done. For example, the power cord for the free standing lamp is fixed onto the wall with some cheap plastic. Some of these fixtures were coming off the wall when I was there. Overall, decent 5-star hotel. Nothing extraordinary.
Response: Thank you for such a thorough and well thought out review of the hotel. I will forward it to the entire team so we can turn that 3 star into a 5 star next time! Have a great day!

Syed Ahmed Ullah: Amazing experience. The view from the roof top is just amazing. We had our company dinner hosted at the location and the service alongside the food quality was amazing. They also served halal food to cater our needs and there's was a non alcoholic cocktail bar as well. Wonderful experience!!
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words as well as your rating! Come back and see us again soon!

Greg: Great experience overall. Much like everything else in DC though, the location makes my head spin. Plus there's no on-site parking...but it's d.c. so, that's expected really. Great stay. The bed and pillows PLUS THE SOAP! The soap and shampoo was just crazy good.
Response: Thank you for your kind words as well as your rating. Let us know the next time you head this way and you can try the on-site valet parking!

photog1976: One of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Our waiter forgot dishes and then forgot again for another 25min once reminded and chose to blame the kitchen staff rather than seeking to resolve the situation and make a simple apology. He then slammed down the plates when serving, gave our family the stink eye and walked off without saying a word. We made sure to be polite and respectful the whole time, but this place is just full of staff who think they’re too good for their job. Food was nothing to write home about. Was much better with previous owners.
Response: I'm sorry for your experience at the restaurant, which is surprising considering how many great reviews they receive. Please reach out to us directly at the restaurant so we can discuss the matter in further detail. Thank you.
