Madrigal Lofts: what do users think?

Andrew Cho: Lived here for 3 years. Staff is incredible, never had a package stolen, and the neighbors are super friendly. You can walk to most downtown places, and the building is one block away from the I-395 entrance, so driving out of DC is convenient. 90% of residents are owners, so there is a strong community.

K. Antonio Wright: These condominiums are very nice a good friend of mines lives here & I love 2 come visit him just 2 embrace these beautiful places!

Jonathan Isett: nice lobby, security, and good location in D.C. Lots of stuff to walk to close by. Lofts are nice and offer all the amenities. Parking, too!

allen young: Great place to live I have done work in several of these units the management team, security team, and maintenance team are really good and nice people

Tamora Papas: Great space and very convenient.

Nina Loftin: Great ambiance with lots of natural lighting

Jonny: Nice building with a pleasant staff

Mission Lofts: what do users think?

Carlos Velazquez: I have lived at the Mission Lofts for a year. I decided to renew my lease. It was a difficult decision given the recent flooding challenges. However, the leasing and maintenance team is great. The amenities are very nice and my unit is very quiet. A peace-of-mind is a valuable benefit.

Malik Mitchell: I moved in Mission lofts December 2021. Love the community, the staff, and location. Apartments have all the newest and updated fixtures. Also, so much space for the price compared to other properties in the area. Would like a better intercom system for guest entry if possible, current is a bit dated. Overall made a great decision moving here!

iOntheBeat: Moving was great. Moona was extremely helpful, very responsive and always willing to help. Super happy with the apartment and amenities. Everything looks brand new. The apartment is located close to everything and there is barely any noise. We cant even any of the neighbors! Looking forward to my stay!!

Darnell: Lived at mission lofts for over a year. I recently renewed my lease and do not plan on leaving. My apartment is top tier. The leasing team is always dotting their “i” and crossing their “t”. On point. Amenities and common areas are kept crisp. The views are also incredible. I recommend this building as often as I can. I love living here.

Gal from VA: I am leaving a review because I don’t feel like too many people leave reviews for the great things businesses do. Mission lofts is the hidden gem of Falls Church. As soon as you walk into the building , it’s a vibe of its own and you want to see more. The corky paintings, the amenities, the apartments. I LOVE my apartment. The finishes, the space, the VIEWS!!! I frequently enjoy the sunsets. My neighbors are nice. The building is clean and always smells amazing! The management team is AMAZING. Jessica the property manager goes above and beyond to make sure that we the residents are happy and if there is any issue she’s right on top of it. Moona moved me in, and she’s very graceful, knowledgeable, and over all charming. The maintenance team is ON TOP of everything! Albert and Rodney know what they’re doing and always have smiles on their faces. Avenue 5 is LUCKY to have such an amazing team. I am overall super happy that I found this place and made it home.

L Dee: Great apartment community. Staff is fabulous. Building is spotless. My unit is huge and my closet is just as big. Love my neighbors- quiet and considerate. Parking is always available. Close to everything. Highly recommend.

Veronica Zervan: I spent a lot of time looking at apartments in the area. I decided on Mission Lofts - I really love my new apartment. It is smaller than some of the other ones I have looked at but offers so much more. 24 hour fitness center sold me. I work out early and this is perfect. Excellent equipment. Conference areas to work from or meet clients. lots of little places to sit and read. I am really looking forward to nice weather so I can hang outside on my huge balcony. The move in has been great and everyone is so very nice. I highly recommend this place and I am a difficult person to sell on anything.

The Woodward Building Apartments: what do users think?

Becca N: I toured the Woodward apartments back in April 2021 with Michael O., and I was very impressed by the building, services, and most of all the staff’s level of professionalism. It was clear that their Management prioritized making the apartment leasing experience as positive and painless as possible. Although I ended up selecting another apartment that was closer to work, I highly recommend this apartment based on my tour experience.

Claire Marshalek: Friendly and helpful concierges. So close to the mall and white house.

Ladonna Lewis: Had a great stay here. Nice place.

The Yards Collection - Foundry Lofts: what do users think?

Ebony Ashley: Ms. Green has been a pleasure working for the past five years of me leasing at Property. Not only does she support residents with all concerns, but she’s also kind caring , and a generous individual. I strongly believe that without Ms Green in the office things wouldn’t be the same. Her positive energy can light up a room ,and she makes it her due diligence to respond back to calls emails and inquiries. she’s very informative with all information along with providing residents with resources. She is truly the best five stars!

Angela Mcnair: I Have lived at the Yards for several years, my only complaint is how management and maintenance deals with time sensitive issues. You have to call 6 plus times and make several visits to get a response from management... You have to put in several tickets for maintenance before they complete a job, for maintenance ,you better be home to make sure the job is completed before they close out the ticket.

SWYD DES: We love the apartment and the community! Quiet and the grounds are maintained well and very clean! The office staff is very efficient and friendly! The Manager takes time to listen to any requests and address them right away especially Ms. Jaennette. Her customer service is amazing and I definitely recommend more people to come live here because of her.

Dasean Mickey: Loved the option of being able to look at 4 different properties at one time. Jaennette Green gave the best tour I’ve had by far! Simply amazing and patient. She listened to my needs and wants. Remembered everything down to my dogs name. Never felt more valued when touring an apartment before.

Camille Milton.: The amenities are lackluster compared to comparable buildings in the area/price range. The gym was filthy and more than half the workout machines were broken. The fixtures in the unit toured were aging and in need of renovation. The shared parking garage experiences frequent break-ins met with little concern from yards management and no steps taken to keep residents safe.

Hendrik de Zwart: Moved in at the end of September and so far thrilled with the experience. Jimmy Tran was fantastic to deal with through the leasing process and my indecision. Sure, the gym could use a little refresh but overall would recommend this building and especially working with Jimmy!

Vivian Liggins: The Yards is the best place to live. Me and my sister stop by and toured and met with Ms Green she is awesome and she took her time with us and we will be ready to call the yards home soon. Thanks Ms. green see you guys in March

Dwight Walker: I live here because of Jeanette. What can I say? She is super. She advocated for me and I am still here. She is always kind and professional. She works hard for the Yards and for her residents. She deserves a raise. No more weekends for her. She does too much as it is.

Crystal City Lofts: what do users think?

Tiffany Jones: The maintenance team at Crystal City Lofts always delivers high-quality service. Thomas and Berhanu have excellent communication skills and always ensure my needs are met. I am very appreciative of their prompt assistance. They are a great asset to our community. Thank you!

Josh V: tl;dr: (1) extremely loud construction occurs any day between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM (2) fire alarm testing occurs once per month, which is concerning because another Dweck property recently had a major fire (3) management is uncommunicative and charges high fees. Crystal City Lofts was an ok place to live until new management took over in January 2022. Since then, the property has gone downhill. As mentioned in other reviews, extremely loud construction occurs nearly every day, anytime between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Management informed residents about the construction 4 days before starting it. They also did not inform residents until the morning construction started that cars needed to be relocated for construction. They gave residents two hours to move their cars and then towed cars that were in the way. They also did not inform residents that access to bike racks and storage units, which residents pay for, would be unavailable during construction. The fire alarms are tested an average of once per month, and always during the workday. The frequent testing is annoying, but is also concerning because another Dweck property had a fire just a few months ago that displaced multiple residents (Google "The Buchanan apartment fire to read about it). Management has not communicated to residents why the fire alarms need to be tested so frequently. The building also finds ways to make money any way it can. For example, renting the lounge costs residents $85 *per hour*. Many other reviewers have also posted about being charged very high move-out fees. The positives of Crystal City Lofts are that maintenance is responsive and the leasing agents were friendly upon move-in. I have already contacted mgmt about these issues, but I have not seen improvement. To improve this rating, management should (1) send an email to residents informing them why fire alarm testing is occurring so frequently, and test the alarms at a particular time of day, rather than giving a 10-hour window; (2) send a weekly email informing residents of the hours construction will be occurring, and on what areas of the building. Additionally, limit hours of construction from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM M-F as was originally promised; (3) change policies regarding fees for lounge rental; and (4) offer residents alternative bike/storage areas due to the impact of construction, or offer a discount.

Sean G: DONT RENT FROM HERE they will SCAM you for $$$!!! They automatically renewed my lease at the month-month rate without notice or authorization. Also, the building is Super noisy (constant train and airport noise at all hours- you can’t keep your window open at all). Even worse; management is unresponsive to any maintenance requests, have fire alarms at ALL HOURS AND screw you on renewal terms ($700/month rent increase to renew). Would never live in another DWECK managed property!!!!

Dave Crowell: Crystal City Lofts staff made the entire process stress free. From providing videos and photos of units aiding in selection to actual move in date and staying after hours to turn over keys, the staff went above and beyond.

Ashley Barbour: I recently came by with a friend to view this place. Pretty nice if you ask me! The property Manager Bandar was nice and very pleasant! I recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Arlington area.

Jennifer Valerdi: The community and staff are one of the best in crystal city!Thank you Bandar for your fast and professional service! 100% recommended to move here!!

Carl W: Lived here for a year, would have moved out faster if we were able to find a sublease. To start, there was a roach infestation that they did their best to sweep under the rug after trying to say it was our own fault. Extremely thin walls, and you can almost always hear other neighbors conversations + tv. The moving out process was also so terrible it’s almost laughable. Management refused to reserve us the elevator and loading area despite us booking a reservation 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. then months after we move out we also get charged $170 for carpet cleaning despite the fact that we paid a company to clean all of the carpets literally THE SAME DAY that we moved out. Unless you enjoy having no comfort and getting scammed, don’t live here.

Helena Wu: We lived here for three years and overall enjoyed our stay but sometimes it did get loud from the train and airplanes. We also had a terrible move out experience. We were charged for so many things (damaged blinds, painting, cleaning fee, etc.) that was completely unreasonable and added up to almost $1000!!! Management is also not the most responsive/cooperative. Maintenance was good but things in our apartment kept breaking as well (patio door, lights, etc.) If it weren’t for our terrible moving out experience, I would have given a higher rating but our move out experience left a bad taste in our mouth after an overall decent experience.

20 20 Lofts: what do users think?

A Hardin: I rented here for a couple years. The apartment, building, and tenants are nice. And in fact I was very close to considering purchasing property here. However, due to the dysfunctional, unresponsive, and incredibly rude building manager, 2020 is not a good place to live. I would highly recommend against 2020, particularly if you are renting as you will be treated like a second class citizen.

Cliff Mckenzie: Great place to live

Lofts 590 Apartments: what do users think?

Lauren Perlik: I’ve lived at Loft590 for about a year now. The front desk associates are always very friendly, organized, and happy to chat. The building managers are also great and are very fast to respond and always super helpful! I’ve always been appreciative of the small things the staff go out of their way to do like printing something if the business center is out of ink or just searching for some extra milk bones for dogs after the come in from their walk! The building itself is very clean, maintenance is always done in a timely manner, and the apartments are very clean. I’ve loved living here and I’m only moving because I’m transitioning to a studio apartment. I’d definitely recommend Loft 590 if you’re looking for affordable living in a quiet neighborhood!

Justin M: Lofts 590 started off on such a good foot with me, but at the end it started to just slowly get worse. Pros: The concierge(s) are top caliber and always willing to go the extra mile. Maintenance is fast and hard working! The leasing office staff has changed out over the last 6-9 months and it’s not quite the same as it used to be. There have also been a lot more sanitary issues with spills in the stairwells and by the doors. The biggest reason I’m moving is due to the company wanting to charge me more to live here, but list my place for 300 less to a new resident. Sorry, I don’t love this place that much to pay you more for getting the same (really it’s less than previously)…

Ben Nace: Me and my dog Fenway loved living here. The staff was super friendly and responsive. All repairs were done within 12 hours of submitting. The location is great and has lots of shops and food within walking distance but also quiet in the evenings after work. The only downside was the gym was a bit small, but there are a lot of great parks and bike paths extremely close and that kept me active. I recommend to anyone looking to live in Pentagon/Crystal city.

Taylor Townshend: We loved our past year at Lofts 590 - the front desk, management and maintenance staff were always so kind and accommodating! The ONLY reason I am not giving a 5 star review is due to our move out experience. We lived there for 1 year and when asked if we wanted to use their "Easy Move Out" option ($225) we opted not to, as we knew a trusted cleaner who could professionally clean. Not to mention that there were no carpet stains, no large holes in the walls, no scratches on the floor etc. A week later we were charged over $300 for "painting and cleaning" stating that we did not leave the apartment in "Move in Condition" for the next renters. In our opinion, the painting at least should have been taken care of by the building - especially since we did not have access to the right [paint colors etc. While I believe this is a corporate flaw (Equity) and not specifically Lofts, I wanted to make anyone aware that was joining/leaving the community.

The Yards Collection: what do users think?

Gina Celata: I have been living at the Guild for almost 2 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here in Navy Yard. The location is really nice since it is right by the water, shops, and restaurants so when family or friends visit, there is always something to do. Mario, the Assistant Property Manager, gave me a tour and assisted me through the leasing process in which he was very helpful and answered any questions I had. He still periodically check-ins to see how I am enjoying my stay even after all this time and I really appreciate that. I also want to give a shoutout to Pam, she is so thoughtful and I love stopping by the concierge desk to chat with her. Lastly, I want to shoutout the maintenance staff who are very responsive to any requests I have put in thus far.

AB: I enjoy living at the Guild. With an amazing water view + great location, my loft is everything I’ve always wanted (and it’s pretty big for a DC apartment)! On top of that, the assistant manager, Mario is so great! He’s always so helpful and attentive to my needs, which makes my experience even better.

Arnold Williams: my girlfriend and I was looking for apt and ran across Guild beautiful building and amazing leasing agent Ms Green she knows her job an she is amazing woman. We love all the view from the rooftop great places to call home. If you are looking for a new place check out the yards and ask for MsGreen

Kenny Drew: I toured these apartments with the manager Mario and he was extremely knowledgeable about the wants and needs of anyone looking to move not only into the apartments but the area as well. He showed me multiple apartments along with a run down of all the amenities that made the apartments stand out amongst the rest in the area to help me fill more at ease about my decision.

Eric Christopher: Moved into the Guild in late March. The leasing manager, Mahamudur, personally toured apartments with me, supported me throughout my leasing process, and has answered my emails promptly when I’ve had questions. ALL members of Concierge team are awesome! Andre and Pam know your name and are always accommodating. Mark manages maintenance and has addressed my two (very minor) apt needs quickly and efficiently. The second floor dog park is an awesome amenity! Quality of life here has been good so far for me. Love living close to restaurants, grocery store, etc.

Tonya G: Surprised to see the negative reviews; this is far from the experience I have had after 10 months at Guild. I’ve lived in other luxury buildings in DC, and this is the best experience I’ve had by far. I had a very smooth move-in and both management and concierge followed up to ensure I was comfortable and everything was to my liking. All maintenance requests have been addressed within 24 hours. When my key fob stopped working, several employees were all over it to ensure it was fixed ASAP. The cleaning and maintenance I have encountered have been nothing but friendly and helpful. Concierge takes the time to get to know the residents and go out of their way to do what they can to make your life easier (shout out to Andre!) The building itself is quite new and modern. Sure it doesn’t have a gym or pool, but you can get these amenities with a membership at VIDA next door. My rent plus a VIDA membership is less than I was paying at my last building, and VIDA gym and pool far surpass anything you can get at any other building in the area. My unit is amazing. This building is one of the few “luxury” buildings that doesn’t appear to have been rushed through construction. Everything is top notch quality. Despite floor to ceiling windows, noise from outside is very minimal. And unlike many newer buildings, I cannot hear my neighbors. Like at all. If I hadn’t met them I would’ve thought the units were empty. Having real walls has been a total game changer, especially when working from home. TLDR; give this place a tour and decide for yourself.

Mona Davis: I love Ms. Jeanette GreenShe has a beautiful spirit, and she is always very polite. Jeanette is very resourceful and she always makes my experience very comfortable when I come in the office to pay my rent. ❤️

The 925 Apartments: what do users think?

Victoria H: Extremely disappointed. Zabida the leasing officer made it awful. I am moving out after a year and could not be happier. Zabida never did her job and made living there miserable. I sent in multiple complaints and the offices never resolved the issue. These apartments do not care about you. Do not rent from them.

Bradley Mills: BEWARE. The renovated, 1-bedroom apartments are very nice, with hardwood floors and modern amenities. However, while the 925 Apartments offers great value and the staff is friendly, the leasing agents are HORRIBLE and will RIP YOU OFF. Before I moved in, the old leasing manager, Amber, told me they required a security deposit, even though I had a guarantor on the application. Their policy is that they do NOT require a security deposit if there is a guarantor on the application. Amber has since been fired for her incompetence. The new leasing manager, Zabida, is no better. The 925 Apartments has yet to return my money after nearly THREE months. Turns out, they made an error in processing my security deposit. Instead of charging me for the deposit and putting the money in escrow like they were supposed to, they used it for rent. This happened even though I was supposed to receive one month of rent for free, which they did not honor despite it being written in my lease contract. All this time, Zabida has acted totally aloof by not returning any of my calls or keeping me updated. I have had to jump through hoops just to get in contact with her. I feel as though she has been waiting for me to forget so she doesn’t have to deal with me anymore. She should really be fired. STAY AWAY from the 925 Apartments. Leasing agents are careless, lazy, and unprofessional.

Balint szoke: Fantastic place, reasonable rent, and very close to George Washington University and downtown DC. I highly recommend it.

e-lofts: what do users think?

Kittrell Shyhiem Henderson: Martin was excellent and very detailed on the final walkthrough. He gave me some pointers for future moving which he didn’t have to do. Even with the change over in staff my overall experience was amazing and they addressed my concerns as quickly as possible. If I relocated to the area again, I would definitely look to stay here again. Keep up the great work E-lofts!

Jacqueline Santos: My husband and I just moved in March. We never received all our information re: the welcome package. Usually includes your mailbox number, access to different areas of the building, package room, etc.. We’re still waiting on that. Apparently you need an app to reserve the amenity rooms downstairs, still don’t have access to that after asking numerous times. I finally caught someone in the leasing office and I was told that they are unable to assist with that. My apartment is beautiful and I’m very happy with it. My husband and I were very excited to move into our unit and I’m so disappointed. It makes me think we made a mistake. My complaints are mostly for the management of the building and how no one cares. The package room is a total s*** show and it takes patience to find your things.

Rahshaun Black: I lived in this apartment for 2 years until 2019 and enjoyed my stay. I have been in the process of trying to move back but because of the popularity it’s been a wait. Cindy took me on a couple of tours of units after I listed my preferences and has been in communication with me over the last few months giving me updates on potential leases. Very professional in her assistance, I was easily able to explain my expectations in finding a unit to lease. Ms Tombini has been such a great help, definitely one of the best employees I’ve come across at the E-lofts.

Michael Anderson: My experience with Cindy Tombini was amazing. Apartment hunting can be a pain, but I must admit this particular scenario went the smoothest. Excellent customer service, swift responsiveness, with an welcoming attitude. The complex is great and the staff makes you feel more like a guest than a Customer, I was sold at representation! I recommend 5 Stars!

Daniel Martinez: My girlfriend and I lived at eLofts for about 3 years. Absolutely loved it but wish they had a pool. After 3 years we decided it was time to make a change and quickly did we regret it. Being here for many years we have seen changes in management and staff but we were most delighted in working with the assistant property manager Cindy. She was always happy and attentive to help with any issues that came up and was also quick to address everything unlike other experiences. We currently are looking to break our current lease eLofts will is back at the top of our list. Assuming these changes fall thru we look forward to working with Cindy.

Whyle Furnished Apartments: what do users think?

Sonia Khan: I spent three months at Whyle and can highly recommend the building to others. Gorgeous views, great facilities, and super convenient location for a short stay in the city, i.e. whole foods, core power yoga, and nail salon right below the building. Shannon and team went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay during a hybrid work environment. Thank you!!

Amy S: Great location with easy access to the Metro. Excellent food options nearby in easy walking distance. It was a nice walk on a cooler morning down to Chinatown and there is plenty of transportation available for a quick ride to the museums on the Mall. The apartment itself was clean and decorated tastefully. I found the management to be friendly and helpful, and they were highly responsive. I recommend this location.

Ian Carter: I almost hesitate to write this review for fear of it becoming too popular and difficult for me to book in the future... alas, the Whyle is the perfect choice for a short term (30+ day) stay in the DC area. Amazing location above a Whole Foods and near tons of restaurants and bars and transit, with a fully furnished super comfortable unit (sound proofed as well!) and the best staff you could ask for. OH, and the gym and rooftop are icing on the cake. Nearly perfection!

Ozan Saracoglu: İ spent the last 2+ months at Whyle and enjoyed every minute of it. İ often do long-term stays when i travel for work because i like to feel like İ am at home. My apartment at Whyle was so comfortable, and the staff made my transition to the city quick and easy. İ look forward to my next project in DC. İ will be staying at Whyle for sure!

Alok Jain: I stayed at Whyle furnished apartments for nearly five months. The apartment was sunny and had a view of the Washington Monument. The interior design is aesthetically pleasing, refreshing and functional. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment is nicely furnished and has good quality amenities. They have Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speakers, Mauviel pots and pans, OXO kitchen utensils and Scott Zwiesel glasses. They have kept bar accessories which I found very novel that allows to make your own signature cocktails. Whole Food store is just downstairs and the property is walking distance to many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Whyle’s GM Shannon and Manager Shane were very helpful during my stay. All in all - enjoyed my stay at Whyle and will stay again if visiting DC.

Abel Legesse: I can’t say enough good things about my time at Whyle! I felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel! The staff was welcoming and friendly from the day I moved in till the day I moved out. The furnishings are high-end, the location is ideal, and the place is tranquil despite being in the middle of a bustling city. I highly recommend it!

Nina L: My friends and I stayed here for the Spring in this super cute two-bedroom apartment. Fab design + A private view of the National Monument from our living room = VIBE! Thanks for helping make the DC experience what it was!

Valeria Wetzel: I rented Whyle looking for a premium apartment for short term. I regret my decision everyday. I was assigned unit 311, which is under the bridge that connects both buildings and therefore receives no light at all (and does not have floor to ceiling windows like the other units). It is nothing like the pictures that are posted online and it is the same price. So BE CAREFUL when you rent and make sure you reach out to ask which unit they will be assigning you. Management promised me to move me to a different apartment and I only found out some hours before the move that the other owners have decided to extend their stay and they have no other units available. Manager is on holidays and nobody is providing any assistance. I wish I had not rented this apartment. It is a rip off. Also, there is construction work nearby that goes everyday from 7am.

The Gale Eckington: what do users think?

Treon Jones: When I visited The Gale Eckington Paris greeted me in the lobby. She was very welcoming and attentive to my needs for looking for a one bedroom apartment. Paris took me on a tour of the property, and answered all my questions in a respectful and professional manner! This property is very beautiful and conveniently close to the metro station and other amenities. Although I am still apartment hunting this could definitely one of my options. The customer service and professionalism of Paris definitely could possibly sway me in the direction of being a resident of The Gale Eckington!

Ben Wilhelm: Recently moved in to the Gale, so far everything has been smooth and relatively easy to navigate. I appreciate all of the staff that I have communicated with so far and found them to be very kind and helpful. I was reading some of the negative reviews and think a lot has changed from the times those were written so as of right now I would recommend this place for sure. We have a puppy here who loves to let the world know he can make noise sometimes and the neighbors and community here seem to be very friendly and understanding about that. I look forward to the rest of the year here

Christina Dinkins: Just a few good praises to give out!! I’ve been here for over four years I’ve seen the good and the bad but what makes living here great is some of the staff!! First let’s praise some management personnel there’s Ms.Jackie since day one she’s been very helpful informative and her motherly attitude makes her just a brilliant and refreshing spirit to interact with when visiting the leasing office. Derrick is another professional who has a great spirit his passion to do his best to help the residents are overwhelming respected and appreciated. The maintenance department is phenomenal Tony Omar and Steffen are the “BEST EVER” always prompt and their response time is amazing always making sure your apartment amenities are functioning and safe just all the way A1 professionals…Last but not least my concierge ladies the two most outstanding ladies are Sydney who goes over and beyond to help resolve issues answer questions just her graceful & positive attitude makes the front desk warm and friendly not to mention there’s Jasmine the package concierge who if I was asked to rate this young lady it would be hands down her ability to make sure you receive your packages is a breeze she’s very detailed about locating your packages delivery times and her pleasant mannerisms just tops it off as a person of first contact. There are areas of improvement but for the most it’s Home Sweet Home!! P.S Please bring James back super pleasant sweet professional delightful helpful and just a positive asset to the management team!!

Crystal Brumfield: Having a really strange experience with The Gale. Paris was really nice and helpful with explaining everything to me when I came in person to learn more about the property but was unable to show me a unit at the time. I explained how I was from out of town so it was suggested I utilize the virtual option to view a unit, I booked a virtual tour but no one ever contacted me with a zoom link or anything. I called multiple times, no one answers the phones. I kept getting emails and text from “Leo” asking if I was interested in the property, I would respond and wouldn’t get an answer. It’s all fairly strange and unfortunate. As a past resident that was looking forward to moving back, this property has severely depreciated both in its physical structure and customer service. After this many red flags, I’m both no longer interested and would not suggest them to potential renters.

Keyiania Youngblood: Horrible leasing agent service. Would not share information, was not personable and kept requesting me to refer to the website over her actually explaining the information. Distasteful and rude. These units are $2,000 , I would not spend my $$ here .

Nikki Mammano: I have a very strong love, hate relationship with the Gale Eckington. I lived here for two years and over the course of the two years it vastly changed. For one, it seems that they have a very high turn over rate and the people at the concierge who would always put a smile on my face, were either fired or left. Their packaging system is not very great and they have lost a few packages of mine before. The leasing office and concierge now is not very attentive when you have questions, especially when it comes to billing and rent payments. The one thing I would say is great about the Gale is maintenance. Tony is awesome and he has been there since I moved in. In addition, do not be surprised to find an ambulance or police out front every single day and night. Without fail, there is always either one, or both, or even a fire truck. **On my last night at the Gale before I moved out, there was a stabbing in the lobby. It was a very distasteful sight to say goodbye to the Gale with seeing a bunch of blood all over the floor.

aaron howard: I am starting to have a negative and terrible experience with The Gale Eckington. Overall the unit is fine and it serves the purpose I need it for, a roof over my head and a good location. However, due to recent events in my life I need to end my lease two months early. I reached out to the office, stopped by multiple times, and shot numerous emails to the identified staff members and so far have only received ONE response. I responded to that email and it has been radio silence for an entire week. When I stop by the office they are in "meetings" or "not in at the moment". From a logistical planning standpoint (getting movers, figuring out my exit plan, etc) you would think there would be some form of communication to help. I have been pleasant throughout this struggle. I was cordial, understanding, and accomodating. How can I work with an office that has no desire to work with me?

Eliot on 4th: what do users think?

Trevor Alexander: The people that work at the building are awesome and make it a great spot to live. It’s in a great location, is really new, and offers great amenities. Special shout-out to Ndidi, she took care of me from day one and is always a fun time to talk to.

Maria Hurt: I really enjoyed my time living in this building. Location is amazing and hard to beat. My one bedroom was perfect and super comfortable space-wise. Nothing about the building is causing me to move out – just moving into a bigger place with my fiancé. Leasing office is average. Ndidi was impossible to get a hold of while I was applying, so maybe try to get a different leasing agent at the beginning. But it was worth it to keep bugging and eventually got through it and moved in. William has taken over for my move-out information and has been responsive and helpful so far. Only maintenance issue I ran into was a time period where a marijuana smell was coming through the bathroom and hallways. I will say the building handled it well and got it resolved quickly. Other than that, I did not have any issues with the apartment itself. One con is that lately there have been a lot of mandatory DC water shut offs at really inconvenient times (i.e. 8:00pm for eight hours, not great) with very short notice. It would be helpful to get more notice, but fully aware that can be out of the building’s control most of the time. Overall the building is really nice to live in. Amenities and location are great and the rooftop pool was always nice in the summer. Concierge is fine too. They are there 24/7 and always helpful with packages. All in all, good building to live in if you want a luxury building close to the city/Wharf!

Christoph von Löwenstern: Staff was very helpful and facilitated to the maximum extend my move to Washington from Germany.Nice apartments and common areas are in a very good shape.Wonderful rooftop area - very relaxing.

Shay Norman: Got the privilege of working with Ndidi during the leasing process. Because I was moving in the middle of winter from the mid-west the process of located a living space from another state was very stressful. Ndidi was amazing during the entire process by extending me patience, honesty, and expertise. Truly appreciated working with her.
