Maggie Bowman-jones: We had an appointment scheduled for one of my bridesmaids on Friday- her flight was changed and we had to cancel and try moving to Saturday. Tiana was amazing and noted the new flight time and got us in for Saturday. God knows it’s hard to work in retail right now, but I’ve found the staff at all BHLDN Locations I’ve visited to be so kind and helpful- they truly do try their best to accommodate when they can. The studio upstairs in Georgetown is also so quiet and super private compared to other BHLDN locations which was also a plus.

Samantha K: I’d love to give 5 stars! The staff were a dream to work with. They clipped and zipped me whenever I needed help. Reps emailed me a list of seamstress in the area, which was helpful too. The offer limited sizes to try on and like what another reviewer said the dresses are in poor condition but they were good enough to get an idea. I liked the dressing room size and setup. The reason why I am giving four stars is because of their lighting in the entire dressing room. The only lights that were helpful were in the fitting room but not where you walk out to show your friends what the dresses look like on you. That lighting was not great on me. My dress was shipped to the wrong address. I called and the rep said she fixed my address. Hopefully, the dress arrives. Mistakes happen. Parked in a lot for $12/day but there is a garage in the building that BHLDN is in.

Courtney W: I came to BHLDN as a bridesmaid to try on dresses. Our consultant (do not know her name) was not good. She was not very friendly or helpful. We felt like we had to ask her to do things that she should’ve already been doing. She made a comment towards me that made me feel horrible about my size. She rushed the bride at the end of the appointment in a rude manner. The bride had come here before and had an opposite experience with another consultant, so i know they’re not all like this.

Yasemina Julia Paraskeva: Recently scheduled an appointment to try on bridal gowns at Bhldn’s Gtown location. They had a broad variety of gowns and an ample fitting room. I received excellent service from Sloane - she was very thorough in explaining the ordering process and in helping me determine my size. She was very attentive. I highly recommend her when making bridal gown try-on appointments at Bhldn Georgetown!

Joy Lyle: Stopped in the store last minute to look at the wedding dresses. The consultant Ellie was so kind and accommodating. Wonderful experience! 😊

Emily Dohogne: The sample dresses to try on are in rough shape - there was pilling, stains, and pulls on much of the dresses’ fabrics. They need to be replaced. It’s difficult to get a visual image of the gowns because of the state of their conditions. Overall, it was a good appointment. Our stylist was nice and helpful and honest, but again, the state of the dresses really brings down the experience and expectations of these thousand dollar dresses.

Hayley Hoaglund: I was very excited to try on BHLDN's dresses! They are beautiful and just my style but unfortunately the service was awful and I left feeling flustered and frustrated. Our stylist, Gabriella, was extremely pushy and only let me try on 4 dresses. I pointed out others I liked but she would not let me try them, and proceeded to count down the minutes until the appointment time was over. My family flew in from the midwest to accompany me, and she would not wait for my own mom to see the dress on me before she had me change, stating "only 15 minutes left, there is no time" and pushing my mom out of the dressing room. I left in tears about how she made us feel, the confrontations that we had, and that my family had flown across the country for an experience like that. I am extremely disappointed. BHLDN needs to work on making the brides feel beautiful and valued before they will ever get my business!

Ryan Beigel: Even though I didn't find my dress here, my stylist Savannah was awesome. Loved how laid back and patient she was and she pulled some great dresses with different silhouettes. I think that this store is best for brides looking for a boho look at an affordable price. Definitely recommend making an appointment for sure.

Emily Hewitt: I absolutely loved my wedding dress shopping experience thanks to BHLDN Georgetown! I was absolutely in love with the Cecily Gown (which at the time was on final sale) and I desperately wanted to be able to try it on and see it in person instead of taking a risk & ordering it online (final sale dresses are not returnable). I was able to make an appointment for a fitting 24 hours before going in. I went to BHLDN with my mom on my lunch break (thank goodness I worked in DC and was so close by!) and Calla, our sales associate, was so sweet! Of course I tried on the Cecily Gown first (AND FELL IN LOVE!!), but I also tried on other dresses as well. Calla quickly figured out my style and brought me more dresses I hadn't noticed before to try on too. I knew the Cecily Gown was "the one" and after purchasing, my mom and I were allowed to relax in the store for a bit longer and enjoy some complimentary champagne. I don't know what BHLDN is like on a weekend, but I can say that shopping on a weekday was amazing. It was like a personal, private shopping experience (I should add this was pre-COVID pandemic). Additionally, months later, when I decided it was time to purchase a veil, I e-mailed BHLDN Georgetown and asked if they had a veil in stock that I tried on at my fitting. Unfortunately that veil was no longer available but Lauren recommended the Scalloped Fingertip Veil which was very similar. She even gave me a free shipping code for it! I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day in the Cecily Gown and Scalloped Fingertip Veil and I can't thank BHLDN Georgetown enough for their help! I love BHLDN wedding dresses and they are so much more affordable compared to other bridal salons. I highly recommend and wish I could have another wedding simply to wear another BHLDN gown! :)

Stephanie Song: I've been to 3 BHLDN locations (NYC, Devon, and Georgetown) and this is the best one by far. My stylist, Cora, was so helpful and accommodating. She didn't pressure me at all, or make me feel rushed, even though I was half an hour late due to traffic. She took time to listen to what I wanted and gave me non-pushy suggestions for dresses that would fit my body/venue well.

Poetry: My experience here was amazing. My daughter was able to find her beautiful prom dress here at Signature. It was many selections and styles to choose from and Ms. Bobbie and the owner (can't remember her name) was very helpful and professional. Will definitely be coming back and referring people to this store.

Leah: I have purchased my prom dress from this boutique and have had such a great experience! The staff was so welcoming and supportive, and the boutique itself had so much energy. Although it is a small store, there were so many unique dresses to choose from and the boutique provides alteration services for their dresses, which was convenient. I highly recommend this boutique for those of you who are looking for a prom dress shopping experience!

CR CR: We needed a dress shop ASAP after finding out her dress wasn't ordered. I googled and Signature popped up first and happened to be the same store she saw online. She had wonderful experience being 18 and alone. Staff was friendly (I was on the phone) and although she got a different dress, it was was gorgeous. Everyone is so helpful and makes sure u have the right dress. It can be stressful at times but they make sure everything goes smoothly. She accommodates everyone’s needs, even I go I go with my sisters as well. Even when the store is so busy during prom and pageant season she helps everyone!! THE BEST PLACE EVER!!

Gina Shawl: Dresses are gorgeous but alterations not so good. My daughters dress first came back as a high low which it was not suppose to be and the way it was altered in waist line made it too tight in the hips. Second alteration in fixing the high low now dress was too long. They should really have a tailor in store to mark measurements. Also the communication wasn’t good never was told when the dress came in both times. 2 days before prom and we decided we just had to live with it!

Juanita Beltran: The store was actually very beautiful and very well put together however the store only caters to one type of woman my daughter being plus size went to the store in hopes of finding a pageant dress. It was only one dress that she was given to Try on and the sales people were very standoffish and the vibe that you got was that she was treated differently I was sitting outside and watching how they interacted with the more skinnier persons who came into the store as a opposed to my daughter she was completely ignored we even asked if they were other dresses if she could try and And we were told I’m not sure and the sizes they were suggested we’re not even for her, the sales people and the owner push the dress so hard and wasn’t taking her feelings into consideration. No don’t give me wrong these girls and this lady can sell the pants off somebody but this mama bear was not impressed or buying it, it was all fake no real substance or truth to their salesmanship and did not appreciate how my daughter was treated as opposed to the other people in the store because she’s plus size. Truthfully was so ready to drop good money for a dress so happy I didn’t- I am all about Stellar customer service and will pay for that stellar customer service but unfortunately I did not find it at the store

We tried to explain to you best that our very petite sizes and our plus sizes are always the first to sell out in stores because it’s not often people find stores that sells ready-to-buy xxs, xs, 00, 0 or sizes 18-26. We tried our best to explain to you that even though we currently didn’t have it in store because it’s prime prom/pageant season, we could absolutely look into ordering the perfect dress for your daughter’s pageant. Shannon Giddens: After getting blindsided by a custom dress designer yesterday three weeks before my daughter’s prom and encountering a rude boutique owner (In Annapolis) this afternoon. We reached out to Signature and Bobbi answered the phone and just the greeting on phone made us feel like the day will get better. Our experience with Bobbi was amazing from the initial phone call to completing our transaction. She picked out a dress that appeared to have been made for my daughter and picked the perfect accessories to go with the dress . After all we encountered in the last 24 hours, we were able to find the perfect dress and our prayers were answered. Thank you Signature, especially Bobbi for turning this frantic prom dress search to a beautiful experience. My daughter is still smiling and can’t wait to pick up her dress. PS. I also saved a couple of dollars. WONT HE DO IT!!!

Paige Raborn: Spread my ashes at this Anthro! (Only half joking.) Somehow an extremely well organized store despite its massive size, Georgetown Anthropologie has the best items and even better associates! The wonderful and hilarious Camila helped me make a few style decisions, and she is incredibly intuitive about personal taste and sizing. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit DC.

Lion King: My all time favorite shopping place in the U. S.! Quiet and full of beautiful stuffs! D.C branch is one of the best one, the people work there are nice and beautiful, will help you find the things you want especially the one in the shoes area, we didn’t try shoes but she gave us some advices on coat!

Hannah Degn: The best anthro building in the the DC metro area! It’s 3 stories, always has an amazing sales section, and has a great home section too! It’s such a cute store and has such a large selection! Definitely worth browsing and trying things on that you see online!

Hecky Allman: Had the absolutely best experience in BHLDN last Monday. Found a wonderful wedding dress and experienced first class service from start to finish. Continued shopping at Anthropology and again was so impressed by the staff. Manager Eleanor was terrific. Thank you all for making the occasion all the more special due to your kindness and professionalism.

Austin Graff: If you've been inside an Anthropologie before, this one is the same, but bigger. There are three floors to this one on M Street in D.C.'s Georgetown. Clothes and candles can be found on all three floors, but the home section is on the bottom floor with living rooms and dining rooms set up convincing you to buy a pillow. There's also a small kids section on the bottom floor too. One fun fact about Anthropologie is that the founders give a lot of their money away to causes like fighting modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

kaitlin gauthier: Avoid this Zara. Their fitting rooms are closed more than half the time, without explanation. They appear to be sorting through clothes in the fitting room area instead of letting customers use it. Understandable enough if this was March 2020, but we’re well into 2022 and Zara is the only store that continues to close the fitting rooms sporadically. I asked the staff how long they’d be closed and they said “until further notice”….

Kateri Somrak: Personnel are friendly but LORD I’ve never wasted so much time waiting in line. Fitting rooms are closed so they encourage you to buy things and then just return them. So then you wait in line to check out because not all the registers are open. And then when items inevitably don’t work out, your forced to wait in line again to return them. I stopped by twice today and kept thinking “oh, it must get better.” It doesn’t. Bring a book. You’ll be here awhile. Maybe this is the business model? If I value my time at more than the cost of the two dresses I’m returning I’m definitely losing money and am tempted to just keep them…

R C: The WORST Zara! The lines are horrible & they don’t do anything to try & assist. There are associates walking around adjusting clothes on racks! USE your resources! You already know that due to your policy of having the fitting rooms closed, your return lines are likely to be long. They had 1 person at the register. ONE! Be proactive & efficient! It’s like this every time I come in here. This was my 3rd visit. This picture is not even 1/2 the line. It starts at the door

Tomi Akinmola: If you don’t want to get robbed Avoid at all costs. I bought 11 items, the sales associate only put 5 items in the bag. I returned to the store for the remaining items the same day! They refuse to check the cameras, they say they can’t find the missing items and won’t issue a refund. I file a claim with customer service the exact same day and a month later they still won’t give me my money back. Every manager gives me a different story. On top of the unbearable lines, managers are rude and not understanding and there are no fitting rooms open.

Shakira Coulter: I really really really wish that I could give this store Zero stars. Now if you’re a Zara shopper (I’ve been shopping with them consistently since 2007) you know that their lines are long and you know that the store will definitely be busy but this particular location right here is just ridiculous! I waited in line over an hour (lost count after the hour). Not because the line was long! Not because the systems were down! Not even because they were busy! Their cashiers were actually hanging hangers while they were assisting customers lol… I have to laugh because it was really the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in my life! And get this: They had more than enough staff standing around that could’ve been on “hanger duty” but No the cashiers were also responsible for not only hanging the hangers but wrapping rubber bands around them to hold them together! All I can say is someone get them a new manager NOW! Wait before I forget… Also, I asked one of the associates where the fitting room was and was told they didn’t have one! Not their fitting room is closed but “We don’t have one (with an attitude)” as if a fitting rooms never existed in the store! She must’ve been upset about the hangers too… lol!

C F: I walked in and I thought the store was closing. I hope not because I like Zara's concept. However, clothes, boxes and merchandise were thrown everywhere. There was little to no inventory and what they had available was all mixed up. Fitting rooms were closed and being used as a storage room. Associates were friendly but I felt bad for them as they seemed to be sorting things in the closed fitting room. The H&M next door is tidy, clean, well stocked and the associates are much more upbeat so I dont think its location specific. I saw a lot of shoppers in Zara lost like me trying to dig through scattered inventory. Sad because if you need something from Zara, I am not sure you will find it at this location and I really wish it were better.

Media Monitor: This Zara is the worst location. Never enough employees in the registers. BS policies of no returns in the upstairs register when the line is unbearable downstairs. Never fitting rooms open. A mess. Avoid at all cost. You will be better off going to another farther location.

Triva Watlington: Lines too long, fitting rooms are still closed and its May 2022. Zara carry sizes from S-XXL but every time I walk in there's only small and mediums. This store need to offer a better range of sizes.

Thomas: There were two associates on the top floor behind the register (doing nothing and on their phones) but explained they couldn't check me out and the open registers were downstairs. The line downstairs began forming to the point of the security guard having to restructure the line to make room for customers entering Zara. At one point, a customer went to the register with multiple items of the same piece of clothing (mind you about eight different outfits) and then began trying on the pieces in front of the associate to get their approval/commentary. The customer then would walk to the mirror to get a second look before returning to the register. This went on for about twenty minutes and allowed for only one register to be open with about 50+ guests in line. Absolutely ridiculous. I've experienced slowness here before, but this took it to a new level. Do better, Zara.

Marla Wilson: WORST Zara I have ever visited. The store is completely trash. It looks like a bargain basement. Clothes are everywhere and extremely unorganized. The sales associates are barely working. Clothes are piled up all over the CLOSED fitting rooms where it appears to double as a stock room. This location should just be labeled as one of their outlets.

Alannah Staver: I had the most wonderful experience at Lovely Bride DC! Tabitha was wonderful at getting to know me and what I did/didn't love when it came to a wedding dress. Patient throughout the appointment and actually recommended I try the dress that I eventually said "yes" too (I was hesitant, but the experts knew best :) )! My dress arrived in a timely manner and the team was really flexible on pick up times. I can't recommend Lovely Bride DC more!

Anna Mahr: I can’t say enough good things about my experience at LovelyBride in Georgetown!! Gorgeous shop, personalized, professional, and overall phenomenal experience. I was fortunate enough to have the owner Danielle as my consultant and I felt like she was able to read me so well and provided the experience my family really wanted that day. I went to another salon right after I left lovely bride and the dresses and service just didn’t even compare. I said yes to the dress immediately and cancelled all my future appointments, and I’m so so excited to be a lovely bride!!!

Sydney Sanderson: I bought my wedding dress from Lovely Bride DC back in February and my experience was nothing short of fabulous. On my first visit, I was by myself and Tabby helped me FaceTime my mom to share in the experience. Several dresses were pulled based on my choices made online, but a couple other dresses were pulled as we went along and Tabby honed in on what I was interested in. I loved the way they help you reach a decision, and everyone in the building was so supportive and kind - even if they were not directly helping me. A wonderful experience from start to finish and of course, a beautiful dress. Thank you!

Lauren Otto: I wanted to visit Lovely Bride from the moment I heard about them. I just knew it was my bridal shop and I knew I would find my dress with them. I knew from some previous bridal shop experiences that I wanted a dress by Made With Love. I had already fell in love with two/three styles and was eager to try on more and maybe find something that was a perfect balance of all the aspects of the dresses that I loved. When I saw that Lovely Bride was having a Made With Love trunk show, I wanted to scream with excitement. Unfortunately, as soon as I had found out, upon attempting to book an appointment online, I realized that they had no more appointments available during the week of the trunk show. I was devastated. So, I called the shop directly and asked if it was possible at all to be put on a waitlist or anything that would allow me a chance to go to the trunk show and I explained how badly I wanted to be able to be there. The stylist I spoke with over the phone excitedly told me that she had a couple appointments that she could offer me and of course, I accepted. I had my appointment mid November and my aunt accompanied me. Like I said, this wasn't my first time visiting a bridal shop and I pretty much knew exactly what I wanted to try on and what I was ultimately looking for. Danielle, the manager, was my stylist for my appointment and she was AMAZING. She made me feel at home, she gave me her honest thoughts and she was also straight-forward with me. I felt very comfortable at Lovely Bride and with Danielle as my stylist. The best part, I ultimately found my dress. Their dresses are a little pricier than they would have been closer to my home in Richmond, but the experience made it worth it for me. With the trunk sale going on, I also received a special discount, which I only found out about when I went to "check out." That was just a bonus! All in all, I strongly recommend Lovely Bride. Skip the other shops, and just book an appointment with them. You know you want to and you won't regret it!

Maddie: I went to 4 bridal studios before buying my dress and had the best experience at lovely bride!! Danielle was truly the best and so helpful. I was starting to get nervous and discouraged about my search for a dress but when i went to lovely bride i tried on about 4 dresses before i found the one, all of which i liked more than any dress i had tried up to that point. They definitely have the most unique selection of gowns specifically If you are looking for a more modern look that other stores just aren’t carrying yet. Cannot reccommend lovely bride enough!

I can not thank Kylie enough for her patience, kindness and overall attention to my desires in what I wanted in my dream dress. I went shopping alone because my family had already left town as I got off the waitlist and confirmed my appointment, but Kylie was my ultimate hype girl. I didn't even need my squad because she was GREAT!! The level of professionalism from the booking process all the way up to me saying YES to the dress has already been superb and so easy. I can't wait to pick up my dream dress and sure that the team is going to go beyond my expectations until the end! Thank you all so much!

Emily Molleur: Florencia completed the alterations on my wedding dress, and I am so thankful!! I met Florencia almost a year ago and told her I’d like the lace from my mom’s wedding dress added to her veil, and she made it a reality! I cannot wait to wear my mom’s veil with the lace from her dress in a few months. Also, when I went for alterations, I felt a little too much skin was showing and Florencia came up with the perfect solution that matches the dress and covers me up. She is amazing to work with! Carla Saavedra Kochalski: My go-to for fun office wear and dresses for any occasion. The designer combines flattering cuts with funky patterns that make it a perfect place to find something one-of-a-kind. I work in Tech, so dress code is casual, but I always feel dressed up in one of the designer's button ups. All of her blouses are silk, which make them perfect for the hot and humid summers of DC. This is also a perfect place for tall women as all of her pants have extremely long inseams. This place is expensive, but worth it if you're looking to add a few unique pieces to your wardrobe. The women that work here are always friendly and attentive without being annoying. Something I don't get anywhere else in Georgetown.

Tara Berman: Spoke to Cayla this morning to help with a new online purchase since the customer service is closed on weekends. She was knowledgeable, kind and went above and beyond to help with a price adjustment. Highly recommend!

Emily Hyson: Out of town shoppers BEWARE One extra star because I still love the clothes but the customer service/ return policy is completely laughable. If this review seems exhausting to read, imagine how exhausting it was to live it. I came to the Georgetown store while visiting town and was hoping to try on a dress that I’d seen online. Unfortunately, they only had the dress I wanted in one-two sizes larger than I am. The very friendly sales lady insisted that they could ship a smaller size to my home (in Denver) for free and if it didn’t work out that it would be easy/free to return. Well, that’s not really true. Low and behold, the dress came and didn’t completely fit. Totally fine - I knew it was 50/50. Online customer service: So then I went online to try to return the dress - but weirdly the order number kept coming up as not valid. Phone customer service: So then I called the customer service number on the website and a pre-recorded message said it was a 3 minute wait. I waited about 15 minutes and then hung up. Then I called back, “3 minute wait” again, and after a while I got a pre-recorded message saying no one was available. Then I called back and again, another “3 minute wait” and I requested a callback. 3 hours later someone called me back. She asked for my info and only found orders from over a year ago and very rudely and unapologetically explained that that was outside their return window. Only after I mentioned that I purchased something in the store did she tell me I’d have to call the store directly. Turns out even though the store had all of my information from my online account which was how they had my address and email in the first place, for some reason they keep orders separate between online and in store (why?!?) Store customer service: so then I call the store. They seem completely confused by my request to return something and took down my number to call me back in “a few minutes”. No call for most of the day. Called them back and was finally told that I would have to ship the item to the store at my expense. Oh and by the way it must be back within 14 days of delivery so I might want to ship it back immediately (LOL). And when I mentioned that I was told it would be free to return, just a “yeah that’s not true”. Great. So I just shipped the dress to the via USPS at a cost of $20 to me. The whole experience probably added up to over 2 hours of my time. My guess is if they process the return at all, they will add some sort of fee on top of it and I won’t see my $440 any time soon. I’ll update once everything is sorted. If you live near the store you probably will never experience this circus, but I have no idea how Alice + Olivia could stand behind such an asinine policy that not even employees at the company seem to have a grasp on.

Jane Lyons: I had a great time working with Charlotte who made me feel very comfortable while trying on wedding dresses! This was the sixth wedding dress shop I'd been to (I know) and a top tier experience. There aren't a ton of dress options, but the ones that are there are very beautiful. Unlike other bridal shops, you can look online before you go to see if they have dresses you're interested in. Also, many other shops take 6-7 months to get you your dress whereas BHLDN only takes a month or less. However, there will be other brides in the shop trying on dresses at the same time, so it's not an exclusive experience. Even though I didn't end up selecting a dress from BHLDN (I went will a dress from a previous shop), I'd still recommend BHLDN to a friend.

Jessica Carns: Iris was a wonderful consultant. My brother is getting married and I scheduled an appointment for my mother to find a dress. She listened carefully, researched all the options available, stayed within price point preference, and provided input on fit and sizing. We found a dress and the other team members were equally helpful during the purchasing process. Finding mother of the bride/ groom dresses can be difficult and they made it such an easy, enjoyable process. My mom left with a huge smile and is so excited for her dress to arrive!

Courtney Elam: I much preferred when this shop had its own location. It feels cramped and a bit less special of an experience with people casually shopping around you. Dresses were stunning and good quality, but lacked options for more petite brides.

Samantha Bennett: I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding dress here in fall 2021! Both appointments went smoothly (the first was to try a bunch of dresses on, the second was to narrow it down between two options) and the staff were helpful. My dress was backordered so shipping took awhile, but I knew that when I ordered it. Super happy with my dress for my May wedding!

Ali Ruth: I was really pleased with my recent BHLDN appointment with Brettney as my stylist. I liked that this was a low-stress environment for looking at wedding dresses - I had time to browse on my own and pick out what I liked but also had help with trying on the dresses and received useful advice on different fabric options, tailoring options, and accessories. Mark Blanchard: Understaffed, tired looking, and disorganized. Returns are easy, and the staff at the return desk are very nice. It's also easy and quick to validate parking, so you can park for free in the ramp.

Rick Javier: Apparently, this building was one of the first department stores dated a century ago! It’s quite a sight for a Macys. I rated this store two stars because the selection was horrible. Not what I would expect for such a large store. Very basic.

Kev- keepingitreal: This store is some what clean. Macy’s offers a verity of clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and a host of other items at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking spaces in the parking garage but need better lights.

Kris Pahel: Free shop for an 11-year-old who need it underwear. We were visiting from out of town. We were able to find underwear. And we left. Store has a very nice layout. It's extremely large. Possibly the largest Macy's I've ever seen. Located in probably the coolest mall I've ever seen underground and hidden in plain sight.

Hilda Kroll: Convenient parking and easy to get to by Metro. Three floors of housewares, linens, clothing for the whole family, cosmetics, jewelry, and more. Lots of sales throughout the year.

She literally asked me to walk outside and use my phone to check the lighting of the test makeup on my face and then basically told me the look wasn't satisfying because I had bad skin. Was in a hurry to get done with me. I certainly did not make a purchase. Ladies with the perfume and Estee Lauder stands were quite helpful however. I can't get this rude Mac attendant off my mind!

They were some of the most pleasant and professional sales associates I have ever dealt with. These two made my experience so enjoyable that I would more than likely return to this location in the future. I am so grateful for their outstanding customer service. I will likely return to this location although Tysons is closer to home for me. Thank you to both Fatimas!!!

My ONLY problem is there was a VERY RUDE male cashier/ he looked Ethiopian in juniors section upstairs near the clearance and dressing rooms. That was talking to what im assuming was a family/ friend in native tongue for 10 minutes.. she wasnt checking out or anything. I stood there awkwardly waiting to check out when they FINALLY finished talking he rudely pointed and Said go over there. He pointed to NOWHERE and was content with himself... I ended up walking around and checking out with some pleasant ladies in customer service though.

Mark Blanchard: I've been to at least a dozen different Nordstroms in various states, and this is unfortunately the worst and lowest quality one I've ever shopped at. Hardly any inventory, extremely disorganized, hard to find staff, merchandise is not current, and displays are dirty and broken. Returns are easy, and staff is nice when you get hold of someone.

REALTOR: In January I received an email for 50$ off of my next purchase and I have yet to receive it from Nona Parker. I have emailed her and spoke to her over the phone and still no code. 50$ may not be that much to some but it definitely helps when you have a cart full of items please don’t send emails if you aren’t going to follow through with them.

Elizabeth Christy: My kids and I had to walk through Macy's to get to an indoor playground... And we almost didn't make it because of the incredible furniture display area! I've never seen anything like it. It's massive and so beautiful. They have at least 12 different living room sets and bedroom sets, cribs, rugs, office furniture, modern, classic, mid-century, budget, and luxury. The kids had so much fun playing house (after I reminded them to not put their feet on the furniture or play!!) And we spent a lot of time sitting and experiencing different types of furniture that we never have before. I have a list of chairs, couches, a desk, and a dresser that I'm planning to buy over time. The staff was incredible! They left us alone unless we had questions, and did not give my kids any dirty looks which was super awesome, new experience. We collect mid-century furniture and I was really impressed with the interesting styles and eclectic mix they had. All different types of wood, upholstery, faux leather, options, and the sales!! A lot of the furniture was up to 50% off. I'm totally getting the green chair-- and wardrobe!!

RCS S: Orders online & deliveries is taking a bit longer to get it before Christmas. So I dedicate to visit the store and Wow! ToysRUs are back in their store. Hamx Mb: Walked in to purchase a fragrance, and came across a very professional associate, Mandana. She was extremely polite, super helpful, and helped me made my decision. The one thing that I loved about my experience was that I never felt like being rushed to choose what to buy. She was there to guide but allowed me to test different fragrances. I’m sure other stores have similar deals but great customer service is the key to customer loyalty.

I'm store manager for a retail store and the first thing I know Customer always first, you have to have passion to care about the people and keep the register 5 minutes to put $300 to $500 on your KPI that's means care about your company.... I asked for corporate number and she told me you can find that online, I have to close. I hope she closed remembering there was a lot of poor children and people waiting for something, but they are missing smiles she took for not keep register open 3 minutes.

Ryan Brewer: The clearance section for men was large. There were a ton of good deals but be warned that if you wear shirts size XL or 18/3435 there might have been 10% of the items these sizes. Also, 36W/32L pants were very limited. I did end up finding several good deals I purchased and overall 3 shirts, pair or shorts, and pair of pants for under $100 is a good deal. The only issue was amount of workers to ask questions or check out. Might have been due to the virus going around but it was an issue.

Andy Pun: This Macy's is pretty much empty. I went there to buy shoes but found that most racks are empty. Merchandises are limited, same as sizes. It is like going out of business soon.

Jill Bosserman: I walked in on a Saturday morning, alone, just to browse. The sales ladies asked me what I liked, and I pointed out a few styles from a helpful poster of the basic dress cuts. They pulled about 5 or 6 dresses for me (all small sizes, as I’m a size 2P). Dress #4 was the perfect dress – Mikado and Tulle. They told me, “That’s the one.” It was absolutely perfect in every way. They helped me order it in a size 2P, which fit *perfectly* when it came. I mean, so perfectly that it needed NO adjustments for fitting, and didn’t even need to be hemmed once I had on my shoes. (All they had to do was trim the front layer of tulle.) My excellent floor rep was Sharon. The manager was also super sweet and helpful!! And did I mention my dress was a bargain compared to the bridal salons? 1000% recommend!

Faith Brown: I literally just had the best shopping experience ever. We were greeted at the door. Our consultant Nicole made this 1 hour trip worth it. She brought us so many amazing flattering options. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I found my bridesmaid dress. I will recommend others to this location.

Lisa listened to my concerns and was able to help me find dress that made me feel comfortable and made suggestions on how we could overcome the challenges that were specific to my situation. I was concerned that we would not be able to find a nice dress on such short notice, but she did. It has been a while since we have a attended a formal event, but she made us feel very comfortable about the process and addressed all of our concerns. I was also happy as my daughter found a dress and she hates dress shopping. So it was a win all around!!

Lauren Owens: Susie was amazing! After a few try on sessions with other retailers, I finally found the one and said yes to the dress! The entire team was incredibly helpful and I had a great time trying on. Susie was helpful with showing different options on bustle, straps, bridal belts, and shoes. Thank you, Susie! As a note - there is a great selection of bridal rompers and other white attire for other wedding events like engagement parties and receptions — which is super helpful and good to know, since I’ll be having a reception at a later date, after my micro wedding ceremony. Everything is reasonably priced and I was WAY below my budget — so I’ll have more to spend on the honeymoon 😊

Sharon Irick: After endless searching for semi-formal wear for my grandson's wedding I went to David's Bridal. Ashley was assigned to assist me in selections and she was a great help. She was patient and even laughed at my jokes. I was also able to have the necessary alteration done in time and for a reasonable price. Even more, the outfit I chose was on sale and the price was even more reasonable. This was my first visit to David's and I would highly recommend them to my friends. All the associates who work there are friendly and helpful and Ashley couldn't have been more professional, helpful and supportive!

Everything went great until yesterday when I went to pick up one of my wedding dress with the alterations department my dress WAS NOT THERE, THEY LOST MY DRESS!!! i was there since 1pm till 3pm and they couldn’t find my dress. The alterations manager besides that they couldn’t find my dress she didn’t said anything , she didn’t offer me no other option, she only told me that she had been looking for my dress since the morning and she couldn’t find it. Few minutes later Emily the manager started helping her and she came by to talk to me about the dress and offer me options to get another dress even though I needed the dress for the same day of the pick up, I appreciate her stepping in and helping me. I was not able to get another dress because it was not what I wanted. But I appreciate her trying to help Me . I left the store really disappointed, mad and sad, with no dress for my photography session that I had that day , my hair was done already. I just had to pick up my dress and head to my make up appointment after it was my photography session. I lost all that due to alterations department losing my dress. I didn’t make any drama or any problems while I was there , I didn’t yell or cuss any body. I only took my self and my money back to the car and left with no dress. But after this I will never be going back there for another alterations appointment. What happened with my wedding dress was so wrong my wedding is in one day. And now I have to look for a new dress. I do not recommend the alterations department from this location:

Tiffany P: Bianca was my consultant and she was incredible! She has true education and passion for fashion and design, which made her a joy to work with! Because of her background, she identified the technical details and construction of dresses that I love and pulled lots of winners. There was no guessing or awkward guiding because she *got* it. Of all my dress shopping, she made the most easy and authentic experience. The other consultants that were present were all so nice and hyped me up in a very genuine way. It was a very positive place to be.Their professionalism, knowledge of fashion and customer care is next level. The shop is very beautiful and professionally designed, it feels so special to be there and the bridal suite layout is perfect. It was so fun to have the area for guests right next to the fitting space, and to have the drama of a curtain being pulled back to show everyone the dress. It was also nice to not have to walk across a shop to go look a mirror everytime. They had a wide selection of price points and styles, and the designers they carry are all amazing. I thought I wouldn't be able to afford any dresses from here since they carry some bespoke legends, but I was happily surprised. Overall, Carine's and Bianca gave perfect bridal experience that you've imagined since you were a kid and you should treat yourself with a visit.

Marissa Metil: My experience at Carines was unforgettable! Bianca was my consultant and she was SO friendly and truly seemed so excited when I found my dress. When I went to pick it up from alterations a week before my wedding, she (who had not seen me since I picked my dress a year ago) was so excited to see me and was genuinely so happy for me! The team was great and the boutique was of course beautiful!

Breana Fischer: I'm so disappointed in this business. I reached out in May to schedule a dress fitting and was told that there was no rush and to reach back out in August to setup my fitting and alternations appointment. This made me a bit nervous, but I decided to wait because I really wanted to use them to work on my dress. I reached out in July to ensure that everything was in order and that I was on their list for August alterations. Unfortunately, I was told that they could no longer honor my request and that they had no availability. I was shocked. I followed their process and had email communications with their team. There was no apology or recommendations to other businesses, which even furthered my disappointment. My wedding is in late September, so now I'm scrambling trying to find a different business to alter my dress. This business' professionalism and how they handled this situation is completing unprofessional, and for a business where alterations start at $950, I expected more.

Megan Cairns: I love carine’s! The dresses were beautiful and high end and the inventory was fantastic. I worked with Briana who was amazing! She instantly understood my style and pulled perfect dresses for me. She was sweet and accommodating. She worked with me for multiple appointments and never became impatient. I was able to really explore the different styles and figure out what I wanted. While I didn’t end up purchasing my wedding dress from Carine’s, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Kylie Kies: great selection of dresses! alterations are expensive ($950) and can only be done on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so keep that in mind, but you can get them done somewhere else. they also didn't tell me when my dress came in.

Marjan: They have a well-rounded and exclusive selection of designers, so I'll give them 3 stars for that and the beautiful interior of the boutique. However, I did not enjoy the service. First it took over a week to even book an appointment since they don't answer phones and don't have an online booking system. It is all done via email with responses that take 24 hours or more. Very annoying especially if you want to get into a trunk show or have simple questions. My consultant happened to be the owner, which I had no idea about since she didn't even introduce herself. I found out after the appointment, when I looked at the receipt. She was just pushy, cold, passive, and did not connect with me. She spent more time chatting with my fiancé than with me. This is supposed to be a memorable and once in a lifetime experience for a bride, so you expect the best. It just felt patronizing and I honestly felt like I was bothering HER by being there. No one wants to feel that way, especially not bridal shopping. I ended up buying a dress just because I wanted to be done with the situation...I really wasn't thinking clearly. When I got home, I realized I really didn't want to give my business to a place with such bad service. I'd rather it go to another boutique. Service is so important to me, and this place did not deliver at all. I contacted them to cancel the dress. It was within the window to cancel, so I did it and got the dress elsewhere. There was a $65 Covid fee, which I haven't encountered at any other boutique. They said it's to cover the cost of sanitation etc. I've been to so many other boutiques and never had to pay. Just something to note.

Ilana Naidamast: Carine’s Bridal/Aisle is truly the Kleinfeld of the DMV. Carine is the fairy godmother of bridal gowns and while I didn’t find my dress here, she taught me SO much about what I want in a dress. Carine was extremely knowledgeable and put so much thought, effort, and time into my appointment. I felt like an absolute princess. We talked for about 5 minutes before shopping through the racks and she knew my style right away. I have tried on a lot of dresses, none of which came close to “the one” until I visited Carine’s. Lastly, my appointment was in person during COVID and the $45 cleaning fee was SO worth it. She takes the ultimate amount of caution to stay safe, clean, and social distance. Cannot recommend Carine’s enough. Everything about this store and the experience feels magical.

Kate Guilfoyle: From the first time I visited Carine's last October and worked with Bri to my final dress pickup, I had a truly wonderful experience with you all. I felt special each and every time I visited and so appreciated the warmth, enthusiasm, and expertise you offered! Bri was such a joy and played arguably one of the most important roles in my wedding - finding me that perfect dress! I ended up getting the first one she put on me, one I didn't expect would be it from first glance but that became my absolute dream dress. She was sweet, knowledgable, and fun to be around - a perfect fit for an important appointment! I worked with Rosana for fittings and her attention to detail was incredible. She made sure the dress would be perfect and was extremely helpful at each of my three fittings. Everyone else that helped, chatted, etc. every time I visited was wonderful as well! I truly adore my dress and felt more beautiful on the wedding day than ever before - as cliche as it might sound.

I’ve been a customer of Tysons location and have spent over $4k+ there and to receive such humiliation is gross. DONT GO HERE

__: Horrible company, extremely rude, ungrateful, and judgmental. They also regularly scam you out of your money by refusing returns or conveniently reimbursing you with "gift cards" that on multiple occasions have had a $0 balance.

William Gant: My niece is into "ethnic stuff" as she explained it, so for her birthday we went to this place, at my wife's suggestion, to find her something "ethnic." They have clothing, lotions, kitchen items, and other stuff so there are many options to choose from if you wanna get gift with an ethnic twist. The staff are very nice and helpful and the prices are OK.

Yumi Manring: Store looks nice like most of the other Anthro stores but they only greet and offer help to white customers. I was in the store for a half hour and was pretty much invisible to them.They said nothing to me even when they walked by me. I live super close to the store but I will just go to different locations from now on.

I purchased a dress there and the cashier balled my dress up and put it in a bag. Another time, I tried to return an online order where I ordered a medium and they sent me a large. They Said they couldn't do the return even though it was the companies fault. I had to call customer service who was very helpful and mail the merchandise back. This costs Anthropologie more money and it is bad customer service. This could have been resolved in the store with little inconvenience. It would have been cheaper for Anthropologie too because they would have to pay for me to return my items by mail. Please train your cashiers better.

I of course understand the rule, and was wearing the mask all but those few seconds, but I’m not going to buy a candle that I can’t smell. I’d been planning to buy some fun holiday decor but spent my $200 at a different store, which still required masks but allowed for smelling candles.

niara yela: One of if not the best storefront. I am an anthro Queenaholic and this place made the mark. I walked away empty handed but believe I will be returning to make a purchase. The staff was friendly and the arrangement of items lived up to the chic artistry anthropologie is known for.

Gigi Dacis: Overrated! You can find everything there somewhere else for cheaper or if you're creative...make it yourself.

Nassiba: Some pieces of clothing are beautiful. However, the dishes and kitchen items are not labeled properly so it’s hard to tell if there are safety issues or not. Please consider improving the labeling practices. Staff were helpful during my visits.
