Sydney Sanderson: I bought my wedding dress from Lovely Bride DC back in February and my experience was nothing short of fabulous. On my first visit, I was by myself and Tabby helped me FaceTime my mom to share in the experience. Several dresses were pulled based on my choices made online, but a couple other dresses were pulled as we went along and Tabby honed in on what I was interested in. I loved the way they help you reach a decision, and everyone in the building was so supportive and kind - even if they were not directly helping me. A wonderful experience from start to finish and of course, a beautiful dress. Thank you!

Great vibe/ ambience in the salon, very personalized and attentive service, and the ordering process was very smooth with my dress arriving early.

Jennifer Freed: Elizabeth was amazing to work with and made my experience feel personal, special and so fun! She chose gowns I was obsessed with (that ended up being finalists) and immediately picked up on my style and the look I was going for. I honestly could not have had a better bridal shopping experience. Elizabeth is a gem and anyone would be so lucky to get to work with her! Lovely bride is also a beautiful space with gorgeous options .

Maddie: I went to 4 bridal studios before buying my dress and had the best experience at lovely bride!! Danielle was truly the best and so helpful. I was starting to get nervous and discouraged about my search for a dress but when i went to lovely bride i tried on about 4 dresses before i found the one, all of which i liked more than any dress i had tried up to that point. They definitely have the most unique selection of gowns specifically If you are looking for a more modern look that other stores just aren’t carrying yet. Cannot reccommend lovely bride enough!

Megan Cairns: I love carine’s! The dresses were beautiful and high end and the inventory was fantastic. I worked with Briana who was amazing! She instantly understood my style and pulled perfect dresses for me. She was sweet and accommodating. She worked with me for multiple appointments and never became impatient. I was able to really explore the different styles and figure out what I wanted. While I didn’t end up purchasing my wedding dress from Carine’s, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Ilana Naidamast: Carine’s Bridal/Aisle is truly the Kleinfeld of the DMV. Carine is the fairy godmother of bridal gowns and while I didn’t find my dress here, she taught me SO much about what I want in a dress. Carine was extremely knowledgeable and put so much thought, effort, and time into my appointment. I felt like an absolute princess. We talked for about 5 minutes before shopping through the racks and she knew my style right away. I have tried on a lot of dresses, none of which came close to “the one” until I visited Carine’s. Lastly, my appointment was in person during COVID and the $45 cleaning fee was SO worth it. She takes the ultimate amount of caution to stay safe, clean, and social distance. Cannot recommend Carine’s enough. Everything about this store and the experience feels magical.

Dawensca Dorjuste: All I can say is… we need more businesses just like Diana’s Couture & Bridal. I haven’t received any customer service like this. As soon as I walked in…the energy and environment was so pleasing! I was searching for a last min measuring to be done, while other places required appt or just don’t provide that service. I was able to get fitted immediately. You won’t regret purchasing or doing your services here! Will come back to visit :)

Jill Bailey: Wow! Diana was amazing. I found a dress I loved, but the designer was out of business. I brought that photo and my re-design ideas to her and she helped me select the best fabric and custom designed my dress that was really a dream realized. It was so comfortable and so me. I had so many compliments. You need to trust her- she is decisive and gifted. I am very type A and organized, and Diana is artistic. Her ways may seem unconventional - but just let her do her thing, you will not be disappointed! I can not thank her enough!

Christina Castiglione: Hannah was amazing to work with! She was very knowledgeable about the dress styles, fabric, and customization options. It felt extra special being the only party in the store and it felt very intimate and personal. Definitely recommended adding this place to your wedding dress salon list!

Anna Washington: Allie was absolutely AMAZING!!! From the moment my Bride Squad and I walked into Modern Trousseau she made me feel like I was the most important woman in the room! My friends couldn’t help but mention how the experience there completely differed, in all the BEST ways, from our previous experience some where else. I am so happy MT was the last shop we visited — unknowingly saved the best for last! My experience didn’t feel rushed and Allie picked out the two dresses I absolutely fell in love with — you can tell that she not only has an eye for fashion but it also passionate about her profession! I would definitely recommend dress shopping here. You will not regret your experience!

Clarissa: Modern Trousseau DC was extremely helpful with assisting me in finding my wedding dress! Jackie and Kelly were very nice and had great tips on how to style my dress for the big day. I not only felt comfortable and beautiful but like myself on my wedding which is what really mattered to me. They always started on time for every fitting and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress. They even helped me plan on how to get it overseas! Would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a wedding dress!

Samantha K: I’d love to give 5 stars! The staff were a dream to work with. They clipped and zipped me whenever I needed help. Reps emailed me a list of seamstress in the area, which was helpful too. The offer limited sizes to try on and like what another reviewer said the dresses are in poor condition but they were good enough to get an idea. I liked the dressing room size and setup. The reason why I am giving four stars is because of their lighting in the entire dressing room. The only lights that were helpful were in the fitting room but not where you walk out to show your friends what the dresses look like on you. That lighting was not great on me. My dress was shipped to the wrong address. I called and the rep said she fixed my address. Hopefully, the dress arrives. Mistakes happen. Parked in a lot for $12/day but there is a garage in the building that BHLDN is in.

Yasemina Julia Paraskeva: Recently scheduled an appointment to try on bridal gowns at Bhldn’s Gtown location. They had a broad variety of gowns and an ample fitting room. I received excellent service from Sloane - she was very thorough in explaining the ordering process and in helping me determine my size. She was very attentive. I highly recommend her when making bridal gown try-on appointments at Bhldn Georgetown!

Raquel Sorto-Robles: I found the one!!! After going to 3 other bridal shops, I found my dress at Ellie’s bridal. They have dresses for allll budgets and it’s a great experience! The moment you walk into this old town Alexandria store, you feel happy and excited to find the dress. I don’t know the name of who helped me, but this lady was great! She took her time with me and never rushed me and let me just have fun with the experience. I 10/10 recommend Ellie’s bridal to any bride!

Angela Baker: I had my wedding dress altered at Nazemi bridal- Tannaz and her team did a beautiful job. My dress was intricate with beading and multiple layers making it a more challenging alteration. Tannaz explained to me thoroughly what would be done to make the necessary alterations and offered a variety of options including various bustles. In the end, I chose to not get a bustle because of cost, and Tannaz added on a loop for ease of holding the train while walking around, which worked great. I had cups changed, straps shortened, and the length shortened. I had three fittings which started about 2 months before my wedding date. My dress fit absolutely perfectly. Overall, the service and tailoring were perfect! I highly recommend for bridal alterations.

Nora B: I had a wonderful experience with Tannaz and her team at Nazemi Bridal. I had a fitting in May, June, and July for my August wedding, and she was professional, kind, and helpful. Her shop is beautiful and she knows exactly what alterations to make to help you look your best. I had no idea how to bustle a dress but she showed me a few options to choose between. We ended up going with a french bustle that had nine ribbons, but she made it easy for me to learn how to put them all together. My dress came back completely clean with no visible seams, and she also gave me advice for steaming and pressing the dress before the big day. I got so many compliments on my dress and felt absolutely amazing in it all night.

Jess Cromeek: I got my wedding dress altered at Nazemi Bridal, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! Tannaz and staff did an absolutely beautiful job, and expertly took in the dress after a third fitting without charge because I had lost weight, and what I had already paid included that additional alteration. Tannaz with was very responsive via phone and email, and was absolutely wonderful to work with. On my first visit I asked their opinion on my shapewear, and Tannaz very kindly let me know that the shapewear that was sold to me to wear under my wedding dress was too dark in color, and created some extra skin in the back. She advised me on what shapewear I should purchase instead, and she was 100% right (she also saved me about $100!). The store itself is so clean and beautiful, I felt very comfortable that my dress was there. They are pricey, but wedding dress alterations in general is pricey if you want peace of mind that your dress is safe, and your seamstress has experience in specifically altering wedding dresses, which is a particular craft. Tannaz and staff truly know what they are doing! Every penny was well spent, and I ended up getting my dress steamed there as well. I felt gorgeous on my wedding day, and I am so grateful to Tannaz and staff for the wonderful work they did.

Morgan Whitesell: Green and Blue Studio was easy to work with, a pleasant environment, and an overall great experience! I bought my dress off the rack and needed to get it altered to fit as well as have the belt attached. They listened to all my concerns and thoughts and had great input as well! It was clear that everyone there knew what they were doing! I needed only two fitting appointments and then was good to go! I was so happy with my dress and glad I went with Green and Blue Studio for alterations!

Janei Jarrett: Honestly, this is one of the best businesses I have ever worked with. I recently had my wedding dress altered here for my wedding in March and the team here listened to everything, made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Most times for weddings I feel like everyone tries to tuck you out of the ideas you have for your day but Green and Blue although offered their perspective they offered it tactfully and gracefully. I asked to leave my dress long, and I know it’s not recommended, but they let me know although it wasn’t super common they would be more than happy to make adjustments. They are super responsive via email and I do not have a bad thing to say. My dress is perfect and I will recommend this place to anyone! Thank you so much!!!

The dresses were beautiful, arrived in a timely manner and looked amazing on all my bridesmaids. Bella has tons of selections which is why I selected them for my Wedding Day. Although the price was high it was worth it. All my girls loved their dresses and had the option to get some money back for them by selling them to other Bridesmaids/Ladies for other events. The staff is lovely to work with, not to mention extremely knowledgable with a unique understanding of how to make every bride look her best. Serki is truly amazing and picked out the perfect gown for me (first one I tried on!) but was also patient and not pressuring at all as I wanted to shop around before coming back to GBG to eventually buy my dress. So happy with the experience and would highly, highly recommend!!!

Abigail Lacy: Rosalin’s may not come with all the frills of some of the fancier shops, but they are in no short supply of amazing dresses, kindness, good advice, reasonable prices and an amazing seamstress. (Found my dress here cheaper than elsewhere) PLUS they were supportive of my customization requests (the thin belt) and showed me different, creative ways to tie the bow (like in the front rather than back). They were flexible with appointments and communicated clear and easy.

Dottie Kramer: I wish this had been my first stop of the day. This was the only boutique that asked me for my Pinterest inspiration and pulled dresses for me before I got there. They pulled my dream dress immediately and at no point did I feel pressured to buy anything or go over budget. They were so sweet, the staff was kind, and I felt like they knew me and what I wanted so quickly, the whole process was a breeze. They were transparent about everything (cost, wait times, etc.) Cannot WAIT for my dress to come in.

Jessica Yellowitz: Rosalin’s was by far my favorite bridal shop experience. They had a great variety of dresses, and knew exactly what I wanted. I found my dress here after looking at two other places first. Save yourself the hassle and go to Rosalin’s first! I worked with Veronica and Rosita and they were just lovely and they helped me find my dream dress. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Heather Foss: This little boutique is the most darling place! When attempting to schedule locations to search for my wedding dress during COVID-19 this location was one of the only ones doing in person. The staff wore masks during the entire session and maintained COIVD-19 safety precautions. My bridesmaid and myself also wore masks during the session. I went in thinking I already decided on a dress, however, I am glad I listened to the wonderful ladies at Rosalin’s and tried on a more formfitting gown. While I tried on many gowns, the one they recommend as well as my bridesmaid is the dress I choose. I also managed to stay under budget! They seriously have dresses for everyone! Overall the experience was wonderful and I would recommend any bride looking for a dress visit this boutique!

Alice H Abboud Chalhoub: Pamela and Connie are amazing! This was the first (and only) bridal store I visited and I highly recommend it. I was immediately greeted by Pamela and her staff making me feel very welcomed and excited about the experience. They helped me browse the many beautiful and affordable dresses they had. I appreciated Pamela’s honest opinion which helped me narrow down my many options. I bought my dress that day (in Jan 2021) and canceled all of my other bridal store appointments because I felt very happy with my dress and it was very convenient that Connie could do my alterations in June, which gave me plenty of time to be ready for my Aug 2021 wedding. I tried my dress yesterday, a week before my wedding, and it didn’t close right. I was freaking out and called Pamela, she told me to come when I was available and I did today. Connie and her showed my mother and I how to close it properly and it fit right, just like it did when she did the initial alterations which only took her two weeks. Thank you!!

sanam lodin: Let’s start off by saying everything happens for a reason! I had bought my original wedding dress from another shop in the area. Two weeks before my wedding day I had my final fitting. The seamstress did a horrible job fitting the dress to my body shape. She completely altered the style of my dress and it just didn’t look right on me. After google searching bridal shops in the area to find a dress in such a short timeframe, I found Pamela’s bridal shop and called her right away. I explained my situation to her & She scheduled an appointment for me the next day. She pulled out all the dresses for me and believe it or not she had the same exact wedding dress in stock and in my size!!! I couldn’t believe I came across the same wedding dress. It didn’t need much altering except for hemming which was done perfectly. Pamela even went out of her way to sell my original wedding dress for me in her shop. I can’t thank her enough for saving me from such a nightmare!

Brooke Miller: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pamela and Say Yes for Less. I began my wedding dress search by going to all of the shops in DC and the suburbs, but was having a very hard time finding something that I truly loved in my budget (~$4k). A neighbor told me about SYFL and thank goodness she did! My experience with Pamela was refreshing. She was very honest, down to earth, and not pushy or overly sweet like some stylists at other shops had been. She has a great eye for what will fit your body (and budget) and it is clear that she has a ton of experience in the industry. The shop is meticulously clean and organized with large dressing rooms. Pamela has a large selection of beautiful veils and bridal jewelry as well. All of the dresses look brand new and have been professionally cleaned. There certainly is not patio furniture inside as another reviewer mentioned—there are adorable wrought iron tables and chairs for plenty of seating if friends or family come along. Since she sees customers by appointment only, I was always given complete and undivided attention. While the concept is designer dresses at a fraction of the price, I never once felt as if I was in a discount shop. I ended up purchasing a Vera Wang gown that still sells for full price! I also completed my alterations with Pamela and Connie, which was another great experience. Connie is skilled, professional, and completed all of my alterations with one visit. I have been raving about SYFL to everyone I know getting married and I can’t wait to wear my dress next month!

Chelsea Mendonca: White Swan Bridal was easily the best bridal boutique I’ve been to. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. The wedding gowns there are beyond gorgeous. I found the dress of my dreams there and the wonderful women who assisted me Moia and Anna very extremely helpful without being pushy. They also managed to get my dress altered within a day on a holiday. The seamstress was very kind and did a wonderful job. Overall I’m extremely happy with the quality of dresses and the customer service provided. Highly recommend.

Kristy & Jack Roszel: The women at Swan Bridal are amazing! My sister had a dress emergency created by a less experienced shop. Not only did they offer her multiple alternatives to her original dress but they went above an beyond to help fix the original dress she loved. They not only fixed the issues but made the dress more perfect then we could even imagine. Thank you for saving the day with the wedding being only 2 weeks away. Swan Bridal has a beautiful selection of dresses but more importantly they represent everything a business should be putting the customer first event step of the way.

Heather Lockhart: This shop was the best dress shopping experience by far! I went to several shops prior to White Swan and then scheduled an hour appointment just to see if I had any interest in what they offered. The consultant had an idea of a couple dresses that would fit my preference within my budget. We started off in the clearance section (by my request) and found a few to show off to my closest relatives. My decision was tied between two of the most stunning lace dresses, I ended up running over my appointment by two hours! The owner, Mila, was so kind and allowed her consultant to continue to accommodate me. Then lo and behold I said yes to the dress!! Mila was so sweet to offer my family water and treats while they patiently waited. She also gave an unexpected discount to my hair piece and veil. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted my train to be shaped like and Mila gave me her honest opinion while still allowing an open mind. After I made my final decision, I sent the dress out for alterations (which came back right on time with more time to spare). I was very pleased with her knowledge and friendly relationship with clients. After my wedding I came back to get my dress preserved professionally. I had a few tears in my lace and stains at the base, which is pretty normal post-wedding. Mila reassuring that this was not a problem and will be fixed. The preservation of my dress came back like it had never been warn. I truly enjoyed my experience because of her and her team! I recommend this place to my friends, family and any future brides-to-be!

A&C Tuma: My wife and I both purchased our wedding dresses at White Swan. They were incredibly attentive and helped us pick out the perfect dresses to fit our very different styles. White Swan was incredibly flexible with our timelines and did a phenomenal job with all of the alterations. We can’t recommend White Swan enough!

Megan Guidi: White Swan Bridal is definitely a hidden gem! My photographer (Emily Alyssa Photography) recommended I try their shop after a series of striking out elsewhere and feeling a little defeated in my search. We had a 4-month turnaround time from engagement to wedding and I had been turned away consistently from other shops for the tight deadline (understandable, but discouraging nonetheless) WSB showed me a selection of dresses that would work within my timeline AND for a great price! I walked out the SAME DAY from their sample sale with a $500 gown that I loved more than even the $3000 gowns I had tried elsewhere! They also did my alterations in-house and did a wonderful job (added bones, some elastic, cups, and altered my veil to add a bustle). I had a great experience from start to finish and I’m looking forward to going back to them after the big day for cleaning and preservation. If you’re a bride feeling overwhelmed with the dress shopping experience, head to White Swan Bridal! They’ll make it fun, quick, and easy to find something you love. (I should also add, I came here completely alone to shop (my bridal party lived too far away to come with me) and the staff did a great job of offering supportive feedback throughout the shopping process!)

Porscha Jenifer: From the first day that I googled for brides dresses I knew it was the one. Just the amazing looks that was on the website I knew I would find my dress. Zeynab Es’hagh Beigi: I had an amazing Experience with the team. They were kind and try to satisfy me in anyways. The team helped me to find a right wedding dress. I tried many dresses and they pulled out as many as I asked, and they were so patient. The best thing that I liked the most was they let you have your privacy in the fitting room, because most bridal shops, they will come to the fitting room with you to help you wear the dress which sometimes is good to have some privacy. But after wearing the dress they came and help me to adjust it and make it my size with the clips. I really had good times with them and I’m happy to bought my dress with them. If you looking for a wedding dress I recommend this place.

Lauren Collins: I initially went to Marys Bridal, after paying $2,699 for a dress that I never received. I went to Lefty’s, Lefty had the same dress for $1500. Lefty was patient and worked with me, at that point I was 4 months out from my wedding she showed me dresses that could arrive in time and didn’t pressure me. It was a completely different experience than at Marys Bridal. I highly recommend Lefty’s, she was professional and didn’t try to overcharge me. She ordered the dress in the correct size so I needed no alterations just a bustle. A true business with integrity. I appreciate you Lefty!

Tamika F: I recently visited Lefty’s boutique and had a very pleasant experience. I came with an image of my ideal wedding dress and Lefty was able to provide a range of dresses that closely resembled what I am looking for. Lefty’s presentation was professional and welcoming. She paid close attention to the areas I want to highlight as well as those areas I want to hide. She suggested things that I wouldn’t have even considered. The final dress I tried on was the winner; yet the most expensive and far beyond the budget I intend to pay. I was fully aware of the pricing prior to my appt; however, I do not believe you have to over extend your budget to have the wedding dress you desire. I appreciate the experience and will venture to a few more wedding vendors prior to finalizing my decision.

Erica Jones: The shop owner was patient and professional as I looked through the online catalog for a dress to wear for my pre-wedding photo shoot. After searching for about 30mins I ended up going with one of her in store suggestions which fit me perfectly and looked BEAUTIFUL

Lizette R: Everything about my experience was 5 star worthy. Loved the online reservation that allowed me to pick all the dresses online ahead of time. A lot of additional options to choose from in the store too My stylist, Liz, was a dream. She never tried to upsell me. She was present, patient and asked questions about the venue and my groom to help give good feedback on dress styles. She had a list of place ready to go to refer me for my fitting. She even helped select my crown. Liz made my day I even teared up in the store. Thank you Liz and BHLDN Bethesda for helping me pick the most important dress of my life

Jessica Carns: Iris was a wonderful consultant. My brother is getting married and I scheduled an appointment for my mother to find a dress. She listened carefully, researched all the options available, stayed within price point preference, and provided input on fit and sizing. We found a dress and the other team members were equally helpful during the purchasing process. Finding mother of the bride/ groom dresses can be difficult and they made it such an easy, enjoyable process. My mom left with a huge smile and is so excited for her dress to arrive!

Samantha Bennett: I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding dress here in fall 2021! Both appointments went smoothly (the first was to try a bunch of dresses on, the second was to narrow it down between two options) and the staff were helpful. My dress was backordered so shipping took awhile, but I knew that when I ordered it. Super happy with my dress for my May wedding!

Ali Ruth: I was really pleased with my recent BHLDN appointment with Brettney as my stylist. I liked that this was a low-stress environment for looking at wedding dresses - I had time to browse on my own and pick out what I liked but also had help with trying on the dresses and received useful advice on different fabric options, tailoring options, and accessories. I would definitely recommend making an appointment here.

It genuinely felt like she was invested in helping me find a dress I love and she was so happy for me when I said yes to the dress! I went to lots of different stores to try on wedding dresses and without a doubt my best experience was at the Bridal Room. They were so easy to work with, responsive to my emails when I had questions after my first visit, and so understanding when I had to postpone my second appointment multiple times! I cannot wait for my dress to arrive!! I’m so thankful i said yes to the dress at the Bridal Room!

Laura Funk: Long overdue review! I bought my dress from the Bridal Room back in 2018 for our wedding in 2019. I had an amazing experience with my mom, sister and best friend. We were the only customers in the store which made it feel very personal. Heba actually picked out the very first dress I tried on and I fell in love/kept comparing it to all the other dresses I tried on after. It was a style I wasn’t initially leaning toward, I am so happy she pulled it for me - she knows what she’s doing! She also made sure I didn’t go over my budget on all the dresses I tried on which I really appreciated. Great experience from start to finish - including the alteration team. Thank you so much!

Abbie Hibsch: After visiting a total of 3 bridal stores in one weekend, I can say that Bridal Room is the BEST experience you could ever ask for. I worked with Lisa and she was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, kind, and created a very warm and personal experience. Lisa allowed me to pick out a few dresses and then pulled more beautiful dresses based on my preferences. I was never rushed during my appointment, and I was never pressured to make a purchase (which unfortunately happened to me at other places and ruined the experience). Lisa was also incredibly knowledgeable about all of the dresses and was able to tell me whether I would be able to customize each individual dress.

Lauren Williams: Had such a wonderful experience at The Bridal Room!! First off the shop is so beautiful, it’s like year round cherry blossom season and so so organized, best mirrors and lighting…like I need that in my house. Second every person I interacted with was so genuinely sweet and my stylist Rachel was 11/10 amazing! Third they totally get it and will work with you to find what you’re looking for in a no pressure environment. I ended up going back for a second appointment as they were having a trunk show and the designer was going to be in the shop, we were able to build out the perfect dress that was in my price range and I cannot wait to see how it turned out! So if you’re on the fence just go and ask for Rachel(though they’re all awesome there) and I promise it will be a memorable experience!

Samantha Lund: I had THE best dress shopping experience at the Bridal Room! This was my second stop of the day after my first stop ended up being a huge disappointment. Everyone I came in contact with (from the receptionist at the front desk to the consultant I worked with, to the seamstress, etc.) were all so nice and welcoming. Special shout out to Kenzie, my consultant. She was absolutely amazing! She made me and my guests feel so comfortable during our visit. She really took the time to make sure I found the perfect dress that was within my budget. Highly recommend the Bridal Room for any new brides!

Sragi Khakurel: They had a beautiful and wide variety of dress selections. The consultant was really knowledgeable about the dresses that they had and was able to give me great recommendations. I was torn between two dresses, one with glitter and one with lace. The bridal consultant suggested that we buy glitter fabric and combine the two dresses. It was perfect. Highly recommend!!!!

Jessica Nguyen: Zoya’s Atelier is HANDS DOWN the best bridal boutique in the area. Having gone through a few “big” names, I can honestly say that I am so glad I said yes to my dress at Zoya’s. Immediately upon walking in, Amy made me feel so at ease and so comfortable. It was such a different experience than anywhere else. She listed to me, asked questions and really understood what I was wanted. She was never pushy about making the sale. If I said no to a dress, she immediately took it into account for the next and not show me the same style. She wanted me to be in love with the dress and nothing else. Alterations was amazing as well after the fact. Zoya herself made sure everything was done to perfection. She’s super sweet!! The entire alterations team is so professional and you can tell they will never send you home with a dress that’s not up to their standards. Do yourself a favor and go to Zoya’s Atelier!! They treat you like family and not just another bridal sale.

julie huang: I dropped in 2 weeks before a big event that I still didn’t have a dress for; Zoya, Doris and her team attended to me straightway and managed to find me perfect gown. Although it was several sizes off and there was no time to order it in the right size, their seamstresses got me sewed into it so it fit like a glove and was comfortable, as well. It was an expensive experience, but a positive one and well worth the splurge — I looked and felt like a million bucks afterward. You only live once!

Kate Thomasson: Where do I even start?! I loved every minute of my experience at Zoya’s Atelier and especially that I got to work with Zoya herself! I made an appointment for a trunk show event to try on a specific dress I’ve had my eye on since the designer published it in their new collection. After having been to a few other bridal shops and not finding anything special or really feeling like it was a true wedding dress shopping experience, I came to Zoya’s. Best decision ever. She sat down with my mom, sister and I and went over the form I filled out, the store layout, and our favorite part was how they do the alterations in-house! Zoya is calming, friendly, a perfectionist (we love that!) and as another reviewer said - truly like a fairy godmother. I would trust her with anything! She set aside the dress I came in for to be the last to try on, she picked a few dresses she thought would look good on me and we picked a few I thought I’d like. The first dress she put me in was her pick and it was STUNNING! Something I never would’ve picked for myself but I truly felt beautiful in it, the fabric was airy and light and a one of a kind dress. So that first dress became the one to beat as we tried on the others that just didn’t have the wow factor… until the last dress. The one I’ve had my eye on. I really didn’t expect to have “that feeling” that everyone refers to when you find the one but I did. I teared up a bit and really truly felt like wow, this is so me. It was a really tough choice because I also loved the first dress too! Zoya asked all the right questions, she was a true advocate for helping make the best decision for me and how I felt. So we took some time to think about it, made another appointment for a few days later to bring my parents in to see both dresses and make my decision. One thing that stuck with me was Zoya said to “go with the dress you’re most excited about” and let me tell you, I did not stop thinking about that last dress, I looked at the photos of it online multiple times a day and was so excited to put it back on!! We came back in, put both dresses on and I just knew it was the one. They had a champagne toast for us to celebrate, took a few photos with the Zoya’s Bride sign and had my measurements taken. At both appointments, I never felt rushed like I did in the other shops, it’s a big decision to make so I greatly appreciate the time taken to ensure I knew I was making the right decision! And with that being said, I know I made the right decision on the dress but more importantly to become a Zoya’s Bride! I trust the entire team and cannot be more excited to experience this journey with them! Thank you so much! 💕
