Lovely Bride: what do users think?

Alannah Staver: I had the most wonderful experience at Lovely Bride DC! Tabitha was wonderful at getting to know me and what I did/didn't love when it came to a wedding dress. Patient throughout the appointment and actually recommended I try the dress that I eventually said "yes" too (I was hesitant, but the experts knew best :) )! My dress arrived in a timely manner and the team was really flexible on pick up times. I can't recommend Lovely Bride DC more!

Anna Mahr: I can’t say enough good things about my experience at LovelyBride in Georgetown!! Gorgeous shop, personalized, professional, and overall phenomenal experience. I was fortunate enough to have the owner Danielle as my consultant and I felt like she was able to read me so well and provided the experience my family really wanted that day. I went to another salon right after I left lovely bride and the dresses and service just didn’t even compare. I said yes to the dress immediately and cancelled all my future appointments, and I’m so so excited to be a lovely bride!!!

Amanda Bovi: I said YES to the dress at Lovely Bride DC with Danielle 11/10/21 @11am. The Sarah Seven VIVI is the dress for me! The shop is just gorgeous. I wanted to thank Danielle for making the experience for me and my family a great one. I appreciate her being flexible with allowing my two moms and twin sisters in the shop. Danielle is a rock star and made us feel so comfortable. She is beautiful, sweet and easy going which helped to make the experience so delightful. Thank you so much for your help! Even living in Vermont and having the dress shipped to my house Danielle has been with me every step of the way. Staying in touch and replying quickly to all my questions. She has even helped me find a tailor. I can not say enough great things about her and the DC shop. I'm beyond excited to marry the man of my dreams in my dream dress!! Stay lovely!! Amanda

Sydney Sanderson: I bought my wedding dress from Lovely Bride DC back in February and my experience was nothing short of fabulous. On my first visit, I was by myself and Tabby helped me FaceTime my mom to share in the experience. Several dresses were pulled based on my choices made online, but a couple other dresses were pulled as we went along and Tabby honed in on what I was interested in. I loved the way they help you reach a decision, and everyone in the building was so supportive and kind - even if they were not directly helping me. A wonderful experience from start to finish and of course, a beautiful dress. Thank you!

Julia Ganzi: Loved my experience with Danielle at Lovely Bride. 2 of my final 3 dresses that I chose between were here. One of my bridesmaids ended up getting her wedding dress here too. Great vibe/ ambience in the salon, very personalized and attentive service, and the ordering process was very smooth with my dress arriving early.

Jennifer Freed: Elizabeth was amazing to work with and made my experience feel personal, special and so fun! She chose gowns I was obsessed with (that ended up being finalists) and immediately picked up on my style and the look I was going for. I honestly could not have had a better bridal shopping experience. Elizabeth is a gem and anyone would be so lucky to get to work with her! Lovely bride is also a beautiful space with gorgeous options .

Lauren Otto: I wanted to visit Lovely Bride from the moment I heard about them. I just knew it was my bridal shop and I knew I would find my dress with them. I knew from some previous bridal shop experiences that I wanted a dress by Made With Love. I had already fell in love with two/three styles and was eager to try on more and maybe find something that was a perfect balance of all the aspects of the dresses that I loved. When I saw that Lovely Bride was having a Made With Love trunk show, I wanted to scream with excitement. Unfortunately, as soon as I had found out, upon attempting to book an appointment online, I realized that they had no more appointments available during the week of the trunk show. I was devastated. So, I called the shop directly and asked if it was possible at all to be put on a waitlist or anything that would allow me a chance to go to the trunk show and I explained how badly I wanted to be able to be there. The stylist I spoke with over the phone excitedly told me that she had a couple appointments that she could offer me and of course, I accepted. I had my appointment mid November and my aunt accompanied me. Like I said, this wasn't my first time visiting a bridal shop and I pretty much knew exactly what I wanted to try on and what I was ultimately looking for. Danielle, the manager, was my stylist for my appointment and she was AMAZING. She made me feel at home, she gave me her honest thoughts and she was also straight-forward with me. I felt very comfortable at Lovely Bride and with Danielle as my stylist. The best part, I ultimately found my dress. Their dresses are a little pricier than they would have been closer to my home in Richmond, but the experience made it worth it for me. With the trunk sale going on, I also received a special discount, which I only found out about when I went to "check out." That was just a bonus! All in all, I strongly recommend Lovely Bride. Skip the other shops, and just book an appointment with them. You know you want to and you won't regret it!

Maddie: I went to 4 bridal studios before buying my dress and had the best experience at lovely bride!! Danielle was truly the best and so helpful. I was starting to get nervous and discouraged about my search for a dress but when i went to lovely bride i tried on about 4 dresses before i found the one, all of which i liked more than any dress i had tried up to that point. They definitely have the most unique selection of gowns specifically If you are looking for a more modern look that other stores just aren’t carrying yet. Cannot reccommend lovely bride enough!

bcdeloach2: Wedding Dress shopping at Lovely Bride was the Ultimate Bridal dream. I can not thank Kylie enough for her patience, kindness and overall attention to my desires in what I wanted in my dream dress. I went shopping alone because my family had already left town as I got off the waitlist and confirmed my appointment, but Kylie was my ultimate hype girl. I didn't even need my squad because she was GREAT!! The level of professionalism from the booking process all the way up to me saying YES to the dress has already been superb and so easy. I can't wait to pick up my dream dress and sure that the team is going to go beyond my expectations until the end! Thank you all so much!

Ariel Kramer O'Brien: This was the best wedding dress shopping experience I had throughout the process. Danielle chatted with me and showed a real interest in my life and relationship. It was a fun appointment and I strongly recommend going here for a unique and beautiful wedding dress.

Carine's Bridal Atelier: what do users think?

Tiffany P: Bianca was my consultant and she was incredible! She has true education and passion for fashion and design, which made her a joy to work with! Because of her background, she identified the technical details and construction of dresses that I love and pulled lots of winners. There was no guessing or awkward guiding because she *got* it. Of all my dress shopping, she made the most easy and authentic experience. The other consultants that were present were all so nice and hyped me up in a very genuine way. It was a very positive place to be.Their professionalism, knowledge of fashion and customer care is next level. The shop is very beautiful and professionally designed, it feels so special to be there and the bridal suite layout is perfect. It was so fun to have the area for guests right next to the fitting space, and to have the drama of a curtain being pulled back to show everyone the dress. It was also nice to not have to walk across a shop to go look a mirror everytime. They had a wide selection of price points and styles, and the designers they carry are all amazing. I thought I wouldn't be able to afford any dresses from here since they carry some bespoke legends, but I was happily surprised. Overall, Carine's and Bianca gave perfect bridal experience that you've imagined since you were a kid and you should treat yourself with a visit.

Marissa Metil: My experience at Carines was unforgettable! Bianca was my consultant and she was SO friendly and truly seemed so excited when I found my dress. When I went to pick it up from alterations a week before my wedding, she (who had not seen me since I picked my dress a year ago) was so excited to see me and was genuinely so happy for me! The team was great and the boutique was of course beautiful!

Breana Fischer: I'm so disappointed in this business. I reached out in May to schedule a dress fitting and was told that there was no rush and to reach back out in August to setup my fitting and alternations appointment. This made me a bit nervous, but I decided to wait because I really wanted to use them to work on my dress. I reached out in July to ensure that everything was in order and that I was on their list for August alterations. Unfortunately, I was told that they could no longer honor my request and that they had no availability. I was shocked. I followed their process and had email communications with their team. There was no apology or recommendations to other businesses, which even furthered my disappointment. My wedding is in late September, so now I'm scrambling trying to find a different business to alter my dress. This business' professionalism and how they handled this situation is completing unprofessional, and for a business where alterations start at $950, I expected more.

Megan Cairns: I love carine’s! The dresses were beautiful and high end and the inventory was fantastic. I worked with Briana who was amazing! She instantly understood my style and pulled perfect dresses for me. She was sweet and accommodating. She worked with me for multiple appointments and never became impatient. I was able to really explore the different styles and figure out what I wanted. While I didn’t end up purchasing my wedding dress from Carine’s, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Kylie Kies: great selection of dresses! alterations are expensive ($950) and can only be done on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so keep that in mind, but you can get them done somewhere else. they also didn't tell me when my dress came in.

Marjan: They have a well-rounded and exclusive selection of designers, so I'll give them 3 stars for that and the beautiful interior of the boutique. However, I did not enjoy the service. First it took over a week to even book an appointment since they don't answer phones and don't have an online booking system. It is all done via email with responses that take 24 hours or more. Very annoying especially if you want to get into a trunk show or have simple questions. My consultant happened to be the owner, which I had no idea about since she didn't even introduce herself. I found out after the appointment, when I looked at the receipt. She was just pushy, cold, passive, and did not connect with me. She spent more time chatting with my fiancé than with me. This is supposed to be a memorable and once in a lifetime experience for a bride, so you expect the best. It just felt patronizing and I honestly felt like I was bothering HER by being there. No one wants to feel that way, especially not bridal shopping. I ended up buying a dress just because I wanted to be done with the situation...I really wasn't thinking clearly. When I got home, I realized I really didn't want to give my business to a place with such bad service. I'd rather it go to another boutique. Service is so important to me, and this place did not deliver at all. I contacted them to cancel the dress. It was within the window to cancel, so I did it and got the dress elsewhere. There was a $65 Covid fee, which I haven't encountered at any other boutique. They said it's to cover the cost of sanitation etc. I've been to so many other boutiques and never had to pay. Just something to note.

Ilana Naidamast: Carine’s Bridal/Aisle is truly the Kleinfeld of the DMV. Carine is the fairy godmother of bridal gowns and while I didn’t find my dress here, she taught me SO much about what I want in a dress. Carine was extremely knowledgeable and put so much thought, effort, and time into my appointment. I felt like an absolute princess. We talked for about 5 minutes before shopping through the racks and she knew my style right away. I have tried on a lot of dresses, none of which came close to “the one” until I visited Carine’s. Lastly, my appointment was in person during COVID and the $45 cleaning fee was SO worth it. She takes the ultimate amount of caution to stay safe, clean, and social distance. Cannot recommend Carine’s enough. Everything about this store and the experience feels magical.

Kate Guilfoyle: From the first time I visited Carine's last October and worked with Bri to my final dress pickup, I had a truly wonderful experience with you all. I felt special each and every time I visited and so appreciated the warmth, enthusiasm, and expertise you offered! Bri was such a joy and played arguably one of the most important roles in my wedding - finding me that perfect dress! I ended up getting the first one she put on me, one I didn't expect would be it from first glance but that became my absolute dream dress. She was sweet, knowledgable, and fun to be around - a perfect fit for an important appointment! I worked with Rosana for fittings and her attention to detail was incredible. She made sure the dress would be perfect and was extremely helpful at each of my three fittings. Everyone else that helped, chatted, etc. every time I visited was wonderful as well! I truly adore my dress and felt more beautiful on the wedding day than ever before - as cliche as it might sound.

Darine Fayed: Carine's is fantastic!! Elegant gowns, top notch tailored service, amazing experience all around in getting my gown!! Love her and love this place! ❤

Daniel Sweeney: Carine's gave us great customer service during our wedding process. My fiance found her dress and did alterations through Carine's. I had an alteration to my pocket square that we went through Carine's for. Their seamstress did an excellent job helping make the alteration and it looks amazing. Highly recommend.

BHLDN: what do users think?

Maggie Bowman-jones: We had an appointment scheduled for one of my bridesmaids on Friday- her flight was changed and we had to cancel and try moving to Saturday. Tiana was amazing and noted the new flight time and got us in for Saturday. God knows it’s hard to work in retail right now, but I’ve found the staff at all BHLDN Locations I’ve visited to be so kind and helpful- they truly do try their best to accommodate when they can. The studio upstairs in Georgetown is also so quiet and super private compared to other BHLDN locations which was also a plus.

Samantha K: I’d love to give 5 stars! The staff were a dream to work with. They clipped and zipped me whenever I needed help. Reps emailed me a list of seamstress in the area, which was helpful too. The offer limited sizes to try on and like what another reviewer said the dresses are in poor condition but they were good enough to get an idea. I liked the dressing room size and setup. The reason why I am giving four stars is because of their lighting in the entire dressing room. The only lights that were helpful were in the fitting room but not where you walk out to show your friends what the dresses look like on you. That lighting was not great on me. My dress was shipped to the wrong address. I called and the rep said she fixed my address. Hopefully, the dress arrives. Mistakes happen. Parked in a lot for $12/day but there is a garage in the building that BHLDN is in.

Courtney W: I came to BHLDN as a bridesmaid to try on dresses. Our consultant (do not know her name) was not good. She was not very friendly or helpful. We felt like we had to ask her to do things that she should’ve already been doing. She made a comment towards me that made me feel horrible about my size. She rushed the bride at the end of the appointment in a rude manner. The bride had come here before and had an opposite experience with another consultant, so i know they’re not all like this.

Yasemina Julia Paraskeva: Recently scheduled an appointment to try on bridal gowns at Bhldn’s Gtown location. They had a broad variety of gowns and an ample fitting room. I received excellent service from Sloane - she was very thorough in explaining the ordering process and in helping me determine my size. She was very attentive. I highly recommend her when making bridal gown try-on appointments at Bhldn Georgetown!

Joy Lyle: Stopped in the store last minute to look at the wedding dresses. The consultant Ellie was so kind and accommodating. Wonderful experience! 😊

Emily Dohogne: The sample dresses to try on are in rough shape - there was pilling, stains, and pulls on much of the dresses’ fabrics. They need to be replaced. It’s difficult to get a visual image of the gowns because of the state of their conditions. Overall, it was a good appointment. Our stylist was nice and helpful and honest, but again, the state of the dresses really brings down the experience and expectations of these thousand dollar dresses.

Hayley Hoaglund: I was very excited to try on BHLDN's dresses! They are beautiful and just my style but unfortunately the service was awful and I left feeling flustered and frustrated. Our stylist, Gabriella, was extremely pushy and only let me try on 4 dresses. I pointed out others I liked but she would not let me try them, and proceeded to count down the minutes until the appointment time was over. My family flew in from the midwest to accompany me, and she would not wait for my own mom to see the dress on me before she had me change, stating "only 15 minutes left, there is no time" and pushing my mom out of the dressing room. I left in tears about how she made us feel, the confrontations that we had, and that my family had flown across the country for an experience like that. I am extremely disappointed. BHLDN needs to work on making the brides feel beautiful and valued before they will ever get my business!

Ryan Beigel: Even though I didn't find my dress here, my stylist Savannah was awesome. Loved how laid back and patient she was and she pulled some great dresses with different silhouettes. I think that this store is best for brides looking for a boho look at an affordable price. Definitely recommend making an appointment for sure.

Emily Hewitt: I absolutely loved my wedding dress shopping experience thanks to BHLDN Georgetown! I was absolutely in love with the Cecily Gown (which at the time was on final sale) and I desperately wanted to be able to try it on and see it in person instead of taking a risk & ordering it online (final sale dresses are not returnable). I was able to make an appointment for a fitting 24 hours before going in. I went to BHLDN with my mom on my lunch break (thank goodness I worked in DC and was so close by!) and Calla, our sales associate, was so sweet! Of course I tried on the Cecily Gown first (AND FELL IN LOVE!!), but I also tried on other dresses as well. Calla quickly figured out my style and brought me more dresses I hadn't noticed before to try on too. I knew the Cecily Gown was "the one" and after purchasing, my mom and I were allowed to relax in the store for a bit longer and enjoy some complimentary champagne. I don't know what BHLDN is like on a weekend, but I can say that shopping on a weekday was amazing. It was like a personal, private shopping experience (I should add this was pre-COVID pandemic). Additionally, months later, when I decided it was time to purchase a veil, I e-mailed BHLDN Georgetown and asked if they had a veil in stock that I tried on at my fitting. Unfortunately that veil was no longer available but Lauren recommended the Scalloped Fingertip Veil which was very similar. She even gave me a free shipping code for it! I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day in the Cecily Gown and Scalloped Fingertip Veil and I can't thank BHLDN Georgetown enough for their help! I love BHLDN wedding dresses and they are so much more affordable compared to other bridal salons. I highly recommend and wish I could have another wedding simply to wear another BHLDN gown! :)

Stephanie Song: I've been to 3 BHLDN locations (NYC, Devon, and Georgetown) and this is the best one by far. My stylist, Cora, was so helpful and accommodating. She didn't pressure me at all, or make me feel rushed, even though I was half an hour late due to traffic. She took time to listen to what I wanted and gave me non-pushy suggestions for dresses that would fit my body/venue well.

Georgetown Bride: what do users think?

Emma Frolia: Melissa and her team are absolutely AMAZING!!! They are extremely professional and talented and brought to life everyone's vision of what they wanted their hair & make-up to look like. Melissa did my hair & make-up for both the trial and day-of and it was absolutely perfect each time. I was BEYOND happy with the way I looked for my wedding day and I couldn't thank her & her team enough! HIGHLY recommend :)

Anthony Jacobsmeyer: (From my wife, Wendy) - Georgetown Bride did hair and makeup for myself, my three bridesmaids, and my mother on my wedding day. I wanted a soft-glam/romantic look that Audrey and Stephanie were able to execute PERFECTLY! I have never felt so beautiful and it was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. They also did amazing work on my bridesmaids and mother, working from their inspiration photos and making them look incredible as well. All day they made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun with them! I can't recommend their work enough and would highly recommend them to any other bride!

Kirk Brown: Posting from my husbands account... I was a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding Oct 2017 and Georgetown Bride was hired to do the bride and bridal party. She did an amazing job on all of us. First of all, the wedding was 1.5 hours from DC and she was there on time with all her products. Everyone was amazed at the depth of Melissa’s portfolio, from politicians to actors to models, from NY to LA. Even though we weren’t “celebs” she treated us like we were just as important as her famous clientele. The Bride had short hair and Melissa was able to put extensions in her hair in order to give her that perfect bridal messy updo that is so popular among brides these days. She did an amazing job and her prices were extremely reasonable, given the distance she had to travel.

kitti pratt: As the "Mother of the Bride" I couldn't have been more pleased with the personalized services of Georgetown Bride. They were extremely flexible in terms of time, location, and pricing; my daughter's wedding was not an easy one to pull off. The wedding was held on New Year's Eve late in the evening at the Marine Corps chapel. My daughter's fiancee was about to ship out, so the date was firmly fixed. This was a problem for other make-up artists, or they wanted to charge extra for holiday service, something we just could not have afforded. Georgetown Bride worked with us. Melissa's preliminary consultations ensured that the look my daughter wanted was achievable, consistent with the dresses, the venue, and within our price range. On the evening of the wedding, when the team arrived, my daughter and her bridesmaids weren't stressed out because they'd already been through a "practice" run with their hair and make-up and knew what to expect. Instead, there was a lighthearted spirt of fun. The bride got to relax (as much as a bride can right before her wedding!), drink champagne and laugh with her friends. I think this inner calm contributed as much as the make-up toward making the bride a radiant vision of beauty.

Aimee Wertepny: I cannot say enough amazing things about Melissa and her team at Georgetown Bride! I’ve known Melissa for over 25 years and have watched her grow her business from the ground up. Her sheer talent, work ethic, drive for perfection and commitment is undeniable- not to mention the warm energy she brings into any space she enters. She has flown to Chicago on a whim to prep me for photo shoots and even coached me through calming my nerves— Melissa works her magic and knows how to reach in and present the highest version of people through her low-maintenance vibe, humor, cool professionalism and down-right talent. Not only did she make me look gorgeous, we had a blast throughout the entire process while glamming me up and making me feel as comfortable and courageous as possible. When I need to roar, she’ll be right back in chi-town. Worth it 100%. Keep working your magic, Georgetown Bride. It works.

Brooke Curto: I originally wanted to pick Georgetown Bride because it appeared as though they were flexible, professional, and reasonable. Through my experience, this could not have been further from the truth. I wanted a small wedding, and didn't have a bridal party so I just wanted a basic hair and makeup package. I found Georgetown Bridal from the good reviews, so I was excited to see they were willing to just do my hair/makeup without the extra bells and whistles. I filled out their inquiry form online and it took me forever to hear back. After I did hear back I still wanted to give them a chance and decided to go forward because I thought they were very good at what they do, given all the glowing reviews. I filled out the information for the style I wanted and I didn't hear back for awhile; my mom and I tried calling them multiple times--they did not pick up the phone once (we tried to give a down payment in the meantime but their payment system on the website is messed up). Interesting enough, I got an email back later that day saying that they "insisted" I spend $200 for a trial if I am going to have the look I wanted. This was odd as I sent my Pintrest over, so it was pretty clear what I wanted (mind you my wedding is in a few weeks, and I don't have time for a 2 hour bridal trial). Once I addressed my concerns to them about my lack of time in the upcoming weeks, they emailed me 30 minutes later saying they decline to work with me. This tells me a few things about how Georgetown Bride conducts their business: 1. You are basically forced into a $200 trial if you even want them to work with you. Their simple hair and makeup package is $500, so you end up having to pay $700 in total. 2. They are willing to drop you FAST if they don't see you as a "money maker". 3. They took forever to respond to my requests to work with them, and outright ignored me, but had no issue responding to me when they didn't want my business. 4. They are not willing to work with your vision or be flexible in the slightest. 5. They are willing to drop you as a client weeks before your wedding, leaving you without an alternative. With all the positive reviews I thought I was going to find someone to make me happy on my wedding day. Instead I found a business who just added a ton more stress and anxiety to my wedding planning. Not nice.
Response: Hi Brooke. I’m sincerely sorry that you were so displeased and felt you had to leave this review instead of bring it to our attention. We’ve put our whole hearts in to earning those glowing reviews you mentioned, and would’ve loved the opportunity to remedy the situation. In the brief email you sent inquiring about our services, you mentioned wearing a crown with “super thick, frizzy, curly hair” down for your August wedding, and were going for a very specific 2013 Dolce & Gabana, Byzantine inspired look. Makeup included winged liner, bold lashes, and contouring. Without you having time for a trial, we did not feel with 100% confidence that we could execute this look, and therefore could not proceed in booking. We would never want that kind of stress for a bride on her wedding day, nor would we want to sell you on something we couldn’t deliver. Because there was never a contract in place, there was no active link to submit a deposit. I have tried to reach out by phone, and am more than happy to help in any way I can. Please feel free to reach me on my direct cell at 202-445-1464 Sincerely, Melissa

asjia simone: I was a jr. bridesmaid in my Aunt's wedding and Georgetown Bride did the hair and makeup. They did such an awesome job. Everyone looked AMAZING!! They were professional, so talented, and they made the hotel room feel like a fancy salon! It was so much fun and we all felt and looked beautiful. :))

kaylee frazier: Melissa is absolutely amazing. She made me look flawless for a shoot and styled my hair so beautifully. She was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for makeup and hair done for a big event, shoot, or whatever.

Faith Jasso: Georgetown Bride is amazing! I highly recommend this service for your special day! Melissa is soooo talented, flexible, and extremely friendly. Overall, 10/10 experience and this business deserves all the credit in the world for working so hard to make such a beautiful experience! :)

Jeet Bahra: Melissa and her team are so professional and experienced! She’s literally the best in the game and I couldn’t have even dreamed of calling anyone else for my special event! Highly recommended!

Rosalin's Bridal Boutique: what do users think?

Kristine Maraan: I went to Rosalin’s Bridal Boutique for my dress fitting and it was such a great experience! They asked for examples of what kind of dress I was looking for and they had so many different options available to try on that were similar to what I was envisioning. I found THE dress during that first appointment. They were so accommodating with all the alterations and by the end, my dress fit me PERFECTLY. I could not have been happier with how it fit. I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day!

Abigail Lacy: Rosalin’s may not come with all the frills of some of the fancier shops, but they are in no short supply of amazing dresses, kindness, good advice, reasonable prices and an amazing seamstress. (Found my dress here cheaper than elsewhere) PLUS they were supportive of my customization requests (the thin belt) and showed me different, creative ways to tie the bow (like in the front rather than back). They were flexible with appointments and communicated clear and easy.

Rebecca Fleeman: Went to 4 bridal shops with my mom, sister, and future mother in law and Rosalin's was by far the best experience we had that day! She carefully curated dresses for me before arriving, and added more as I explained more details. She was right on the money with what I had sent her from my pinterest board before coming. She was so kind and we felt so welcomed and comfortable. She knew how to pin a dress well so that we could see how the fit should look and she was very helpful in explaining different styles. 10/10 would recommend every bride look here!
Response: Thank you for the kind words!

Elizabeth Jackson: I had my eye on a few specific gowns for my vow renewal, so I made an appointment to try them on. When I got in, my consultant greeted me, took me to my fitting room and we just got right to work! It was both productive and super fun! It didn't feel like a chore at all, that's how fun my lady was. When my selected gown didn't work out, my consultant was quick to pull similar styles. We just clicked if that makes sense. After about 5 gowns, I found the one I wanted. AND it was on sale, which was super awesome. I really appreciated how fun and warm the experience was. That's how it should be. Thank you ladies!

Samantha C: I really enjoyed my experience at Rosalin's. They were very friendly and patient as I decided what style I preferred. I ended up choosing my dress on my first appointment and they were extremely accommodating with the alterations I wanted to make to the dress. I highly recommend visiting this boutique if you're looking for a dress!

Kelsey Prima: I've LOVED both of my visits! Knowledgeable staff, and I genuinely had fun. Dresses were affordable, and I'm still amazed how my consultant had pulled dress after dress that I absolutely loved based on one picture of a dress I liked. Halfway through my first appointment, after listening to what I liked and didn't like about the dresses, she ran off into the racks and pulled the perfect dress that I ended up buying. Can't recommend enough!

Dottie Kramer: I wish this had been my first stop of the day. This was the only boutique that asked me for my Pinterest inspiration and pulled dresses for me before I got there. They pulled my dream dress immediately and at no point did I feel pressured to buy anything or go over budget. They were so sweet, the staff was kind, and I felt like they knew me and what I wanted so quickly, the whole process was a breeze. They were transparent about everything (cost, wait times, etc.) Cannot WAIT for my dress to come in.

Juliet Aimée Joly Webb: Hello everyone, I had two excellent experiences at Roslin's! I found the PERFECT wedding dress with my friend Emily, Maggie Sotaro's Paisley Louise dress in ivory. It was the wrong size (12), but all the helpers at Rosalin's were incredible helpful, patient and kind. I ended up finding the same dress in an 8 at another store, and when I came back to try it on again with my aunt, I realized the minimal alterations of the same dress elsewhere made the most sense for me. But I wanted to leave a review because everyone at Rosalin's made me feel welcomed, helped, and beautiful. They even cut the price for me by ~$200. I found the perfect dress in their boutique, and they gave me their full attention and generosity. Thank you to everyone at Rosalin's! My wedding day was so perfect and I am now very happily married. :D

Jessica Yellowitz: Rosalin’s was by far my favorite bridal shop experience. They had a great variety of dresses, and knew exactly what I wanted. I found my dress here after looking at two other places first. Save yourself the hassle and go to Rosalin’s first! I worked with Veronica and Rosita and they were just lovely and they helped me find my dream dress. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Heather Foss: This little boutique is the most darling place! When attempting to schedule locations to search for my wedding dress during COVID-19 this location was one of the only ones doing in person. The staff wore masks during the entire session and maintained COIVD-19 safety precautions. My bridesmaid and myself also wore masks during the session. I went in thinking I already decided on a dress, however, I am glad I listened to the wonderful ladies at Rosalin’s and tried on a more formfitting gown. While I tried on many gowns, the one they recommend as well as my bridesmaid is the dress I choose. I also managed to stay under budget! They seriously have dresses for everyone! Overall the experience was wonderful and I would recommend any bride looking for a dress visit this boutique!

Capitol Romance, LLC: what do users think?

Erica Campanaro: There is so much to say about Amanda and Bre!!! They are ABSOLUTELY wonderful and helped to make our wedding day so perfect. From the beginning, they were so helpful, super communicative and responsive. On the wedding day, they were so attentive, making sure me and wife had everything we needed (Amanda even got me a drink before toasts started because she saw I was empty handed). Amanda handled all of our vendors and made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. They were so on top of everything and executed our vision flawlessly. We were able to enjoy our wedding day without any concerns or anxiety because Amanda and Bre were so amazingly professional and handled everything with ease. It was such a perfect day and I have Capital Romance to thank so much for helping us get through the planning process and the wedding day. I highly recommend Capital Romance and would hire them all over again!

Edwina Benites-LM: Amanda is outstanding! I'm a wedding photographer and have worked with zillions of planners, but I can HANDS DOWN say Amanda is one of the best. April 6th was executed flawlessly, and when I went to her with a possible schedule change, she was already on her way to me to request the exact same thing. FIVE STARS.

Amber B: Bree is the real deal. She was an excellent investment for our October 2015 Washington, DC wedding. Her vendor recommendations were spot on and much cheaper than what I found on my own. She is a blast to work with, super cool in crazy situations and is an extremely well organized wedding professional. Our wedding went off without a hitch and we had a blast and we know we have her awesome organization skills to thank for it. Hire Bree she is worth it! I highly recommend her!
Response: Thank you so much for the kind review Amber! I LOVED getting to know you and Marshall (and your family & friends!) and had such a great time being a part of your wedding day. <3

David's Bridal: what do users think?

Jill Bosserman: I walked in on a Saturday morning, alone, just to browse. The sales ladies asked me what I liked, and I pointed out a few styles from a helpful poster of the basic dress cuts. They pulled about 5 or 6 dresses for me (all small sizes, as I’m a size 2P). Dress #4 was the perfect dress – Mikado and Tulle. They told me, “That’s the one.” It was absolutely perfect in every way. They helped me order it in a size 2P, which fit *perfectly* when it came. I mean, so perfectly that it needed NO adjustments for fitting, and didn’t even need to be hemmed once I had on my shoes. (All they had to do was trim the front layer of tulle.) My excellent floor rep was Sharon. The manager was also super sweet and helpful!! And did I mention my dress was a bargain compared to the bridal salons? 1000% recommend!

Betsy MacKenzie: Ashley G. Was amazing at helping me find a dress that fit, was flattering and perfect for the occasion! I wasn’t even considering the dress she pulled for me and ended up buying it on the spot! Thank you so much Ashley G!!

Sharon Irick: After endless searching for semi-formal wear for my grandson's wedding I went to David's Bridal. Ashley was assigned to assist me in selections and she was a great help. She was patient and even laughed at my jokes. I was also able to have the necessary alteration done in time and for a reasonable price. Even more, the outfit I chose was on sale and the price was even more reasonable. This was my first visit to David's and I would highly recommend them to my friends. All the associates who work there are friendly and helpful and Ashley couldn't have been more professional, helpful and supportive!

Michelle Hyde: I worked with stylist Lisa Hall and she was amazing. My daughter and I needed to find a dress for my sisters wedding and I needed to find a wedding dress, on short notice, for several valid and challenging reasons which would continue to be issues. Lisa listened to my concerns and was able to help me find dress that made me feel comfortable and made suggestions on how we could overcome the challenges that were specific to my situation. I was concerned that we would not be able to find a nice dress on such short notice, but she did. It has been a while since we have a attended a formal event, but she made us feel very comfortable about the process and addressed all of our concerns. I was also happy as my daughter found a dress and she hates dress shopping. So it was a win all around!!

Faith Brown: I literally just had the best shopping experience ever. We were greeted at the door. Our consultant Nicole made this 1 hour trip worth it. She brought us so many amazing flattering options. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I found my bridesmaid dress. I will recommend others to this location.

Yaquelin Lemus hernandez: I book here my 2 wedding dresses and my bridesmaids they all buy the dresses from here as well. Everything went great until yesterday when I went to pick up one of my wedding dress with the alterations department my dress WAS NOT THERE, THEY LOST MY DRESS!!! i was there since 1pm till 3pm and they couldn’t find my dress. The alterations manager besides that they couldn’t find my dress she didn’t said anything , she didn’t offer me no other option, she only told me that she had been looking for my dress since the morning and she couldn’t find it. Few minutes later Emily the manager started helping her and she came by to talk to me about the dress and offer me options to get another dress even though I needed the dress for the same day of the pick up, I appreciate her stepping in and helping me. I was not able to get another dress because it was not what I wanted. But I appreciate her trying to help Me . I left the store really disappointed, mad and sad, with no dress for my photography session that I had that day , my hair was done already. I just had to pick up my dress and head to my make up appointment after it was my photography session. I lost all that due to alterations department losing my dress. I didn’t make any drama or any problems while I was there , I didn’t yell or cuss any body. I only took my self and my money back to the car and left with no dress. But after this I will never be going back there for another alterations appointment. What happened with my wedding dress was so wrong my wedding is in one day. And now I have to look for a new dress. I do not recommend the alterations department from this location:
Response: Hello Yaquelin. We cannot apologize enough for your experience. We pride ourselves on providing organized and professional services. What you described is unacceptable and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. We will be looking into this matter further with the management team and invite you to reach out at DBcares@dbi.com (Attn. Springfield) if you need further assistance. Thank you, Ellice J.

Sham S: Had a great & memorable experience, especially as it was my first bridal dress appointment! Alyssa was absolutely wonderful! She made me try different dresses to figure out which styles I liked with so much joy and excitement. She also gave out helpful tips as she recently just got married too. Definitely would recommend her!

Katie: My friend, the bride, had picked a bridesmaid dress for her party and I wanted to visit to try it on because I’m between sizes. I called the morning of to see if they my sizes in stock. They had a 2 and a 6, and a 4 in a sister style. A couple reviews advised sizing down because the style runs large. So I figured, if I’m there, I should try 3 sizes on. I asked if I could stop by that day to try them on. She gave me a couple times when their schedule was light and they’d be better able to accommodate me. As she advised, I showed up at one of those times. I was kindly greeted when I entered and was helped promptly by one of the associates. I was taken back by Mimi, who I caught the name of when she was addressed by another associate. She asked what sizes I wanted to try on. I told her I’m either a 4 or 6, but since it seems to runs larger, I wanted to try on a 2 as well. She told me sizes run 2 sizes small than normal dresses, so I wouldn’t fit my normal size. I insisted those were the sizes I wanted to try on since I’ve tried on David’s dresses before. She told me the 2 would probably be too small, hinting that I shouldn’t bother trying it. I wanted to anyways. The size 4 ended up fitting really well. Mimi agreed, but still made a remark that the dress I order will be tighter since I wouldn’t have had others to stretch it out for me. I proceeded to try on the size 6, since the 4 wasn’t the style I needed. There was excess material on one side, in the armpit area, so I asked about that. She blamed it on the tightness of the strap. She tried to loosen it, which didn’t fix the issue, then agreed that it was a dress defect. I asked if my dress had the same defect, if they would alter it. She said since I can’t seem to fill in the cup with my breasts, I’d have to pay for the alteration. Even though the defect on that dress wasn’t related to my breast size, she made it personal. Honestly, one of the worse clothing experience I’ve had. I felt body-shamed throughout my time with her. I understand that she may have been trying to get her points across, but she could’ve phrased them in a way that was less judgmental/critical. I didn’t wear a bra during this fitting, so some helpful suggestions, like wearing a bra, would be been nicer than the critiques she made.
Response: Hello Katie. We want to extend our sincerest apology for the negative experience you had with us during your visit. At David’s Bridal, we celebrate differences in all forms and shaming has no place in our stores or within our brand. We will be sure to discuss with this the team so that we can improve our services and communication. Thank you, Ellice J.

Brittany Person: Great experience. The dress consultant found my perfect dress and it was on sale! Thanks so much Najoua!

Anne Marie Fisher: Susan at the Springfield store was excellent- I was in and out quickly. She was attentive and had great advice!

Anthropologie: what do users think?

Paige Raborn: Spread my ashes at this Anthro! (Only half joking.) Somehow an extremely well organized store despite its massive size, Georgetown Anthropologie has the best items and even better associates! The wonderful and hilarious Camila helped me make a few style decisions, and she is incredibly intuitive about personal taste and sizing. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit DC.

Lion King: My all time favorite shopping place in the U. S.! Quiet and full of beautiful stuffs! D.C branch is one of the best one, the people work there are nice and beautiful, will help you find the things you want especially the one in the shoes area, we didn’t try shoes but she gave us some advices on coat!

Hannah Degn: The best anthro building in the the DC metro area! It’s 3 stories, always has an amazing sales section, and has a great home section too! It’s such a cute store and has such a large selection! Definitely worth browsing and trying things on that you see online!

Sally G: 3 levels of amazing clothing and other Misc. items. Need appointment for Formal dresses.

Danielle Markham: Cute store, great decorations. Lots of selection, even nice to browse if you are not in the mood to buy anything.

Sujata Rajan Seth: Display of whites in front of this store reminded us of warm sunny days ahead

Jimmy Hammond: For my wife a trip to Georgetown isn't complete without a stop at the mothership of Anthropologies! She always finds something and today was no exception! A great leather purse! We were all happy!

Hecky Allman: Had the absolutely best experience in BHLDN last Monday. Found a wonderful wedding dress and experienced first class service from start to finish. Continued shopping at Anthropology and again was so impressed by the staff. Manager Eleanor was terrific. Thank you all for making the occasion all the more special due to your kindness and professionalism.

Austin Graff: If you've been inside an Anthropologie before, this one is the same, but bigger. There are three floors to this one on M Street in D.C.'s Georgetown. Clothes and candles can be found on all three floors, but the home section is on the bottom floor with living rooms and dining rooms set up convincing you to buy a pillow. There's also a small kids section on the bottom floor too. One fun fact about Anthropologie is that the founders give a lot of their money away to causes like fighting modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

Lucius Domitius Aurelianus (Augustus): Surprisingly good clearance sales given the brand and place

Bella Mera Bridal Boutique - Dulles: what do users think?

Lisa Sheehan: I can not say enough about Bella Mera Bridal! I was searching for a specific veil for my daughter and I reached out to them. I received an immediate reply from Jennifer who went above and beyond in every way. She found the veil and assured me it would be received within 4 weeks. Well it was received in less than 2! With careful packaging and a protective bag for hanging. Let me also mention the price was amazing! After I received the veil Jennifer reached out to make sure everything was satisfactory. Where do you find that kind of customer service?! I highly recommend Bella Mera if there is a wedding in your future!

Erin Topp: *UPDATE* I thank Bella Mera for their reply to my review as it further explains my frustration. They say "last year" in a condescending manner meaning to imply this is an old issue. Yes, we ordered the dress in July. Yes, we waited until January to have it altered because anyone that has been in a wedding knows you don't get a bridesmaid dress altered immediately. The female body changes a lot, especially with the seasons and we want the best fit. Not to mention the fact that my sister had recently had a baby and wasn't sure how her body would change between ordering the dress and my wedding in February. Additionally, my concerns are not with their lack of response. They always replied to emails and my phone call promptly. My concern is their complete disregard for service. We are not asking for a refund of the dress. We are not asking for a new dress. We are simply asking for $30 reimbursement for the cost of replacing a faulty zipper. My secondary concern is that they lied to me! They sent an email from "Kevin" and no last name with the title of "Owner"but when transferred to his voicemail it said Kevin was the customer service manager. Also, in the email it stated that Kevin would be handling this matter personally but when I left a message for Kevin I received a call back from a different representative that was calling on behalf of her manager Jennifer. She had taken notes from our conversation and was going to call me back but I have heard nothing back. Hence this post. Lastly, they are dismissive to me as a bride. Again, anyone that has been a bride knows that even though my name was not on the order, I AM THE CUSTOMER! Every one of my bridesmaid is buying a dress because of me! They wouldn't even being doing business with your company if it weren't for me. It is clear from this and all of my exchanges that you are not interested in doing what is right. But at least future brides will know! *ORIGINAL REVIEW* Bella Mera Bridal Boutique has the absolute worst customer service I have received during my wedding planing process. During our time working with the boutique we have experienced several issues. None of them big enough to get worked up about on their own but compund by their most recent disregard for service is just the last straw. I am getting married in 4 weeks. In July, my Matron of Honor ordered her dress from Bell Mera. August 6th we ordered a color swatch. They told us it would deliver in 3-4 weeks. By September 10th we had not heard anything so we followed up and were told they still had not received it from the designer. so it ended up being 6 weeks before receiving the swatch. Same thing happened with the dress itself. According to confirmations her dress was to be shipped by November 7 but did not ship until November 13. Again, neither of these issues by themselves are anything to get that worked up over. However, on Saturday, my MOH and I took her dress in to get alterations done. After zipping her up i noticed that the entire thing had split! Admittedly, I am grateful that it happened at the alterations store rather than as we were getting ready to leave the house on the wedding day. But the cost to replace the zipper is $30! She contacted Bella Mera to seek reimbursement for the cost of the zipper and they are unwilling to provide any reimbursement or compensation. They keep saying that she has had the dress for too long. Any damage would have had to been reported within 10 days of receiving the item. Funny how we are strictly held to their policies but they don't hold themselves to the time frames they told us.What's even worse is that we received an email from the "owner" saying that no one else will be following up with her because he handling this personally. But when I called to discuss this with him I was transferred to his voicemail which states he is the Customer Service Manager. NOT THE OWNER! I do not believe what we are asking for is unreasonable and I am so disappointed with the way this has been handled. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough...
Response: Hi Erin Schidmt, thanks for your valuable time, however we have no record of you making any transaction here, visiting here or purchasing any item personally from us ; we take such feedback very seriously. Your voicemail stated that you are the Sister of a customer who purchased last year. I still want to address your concern about (1) dress that was delivered last year, 11/13/18 to your Sister Lynn Tellinghuisen whom is the actual customer who purchased online & we were notified 67 days after delivery about her concern on 1/20/19 asking for alterations compensation. While you may wait to alter a dress, checking the product is something that can be done right away and we encourage any customer to do this especially with a custom ordered item. We check color, style, size, defects and check the zippers of every dress. If we missed something, we fix it asap, if we are notified reasonably in a fair amount of time. Just as quick as we called Lynn when she reported this 1/20/19, we would have been just as quick to resolve and asking the designer for a replacement dress because we had time in November 2018. We even asked the Designer & they quickly said they would not offer a new dress because of the time gap. The Designer info was given to Lynn to contact as well. As a courtesy we have a new zipper on order for Lynn, have her contact us if she would like us to send this, we would be happy to. Lynn confirmed she received the correct color, style and size she ordered, so this does match up with our records. We called Lynn promptly when emailed on 1/20/19 and replied to every single message. Many woman's sizes do change by the time a dress is received, your 100% right, while most need alterations, we have known past customers super excited to try on the dress or inspect the dress right away for this very fact to gage what may be required in the future as the event approaches. I do think it's honorable that you want to assist your sister and take time away from your wedding planning. Lynns invoice also noted this item is non-returnable and our website does note to contact us right away of any issue, this is information is known upfront. Lynn was given upgraded 2 day shipping and received in her dress faster then standard delivery. For clarification, the Customer Service Manager/Owner is one in the same. In reference to the swatch, Lynn asked for a free swatch on email, this was not an order, in which we kindly offered at no charge since she ordered a dress, shipped it free of charge when the designer sent it to us & Lynn asked us to express overnight the swatch for free when we received it, in which case we cannot overnight a swatch free of charge for something she didn't pay for. We have replied to all her email requests asking for compensation. We are sorry about this experience, but with custom ordered dresses we have to be notified within a reasonable amount of time to contact the Designer with any claim as we don't make any dresses, these are made by each Designer. Thank you Erin & we look forward to hearing from Lynn about where to send the new zipper, we can send direct to her seamstress as well as a courtesy.

Dori Kaniuk: Words can not even express how grateful I was to find Bella Mera Bridal/Jennifer. Long story short, my daughter is getting married next weekend, we have been trying to find her veil. We only had a designer name and a picture of it from when she tried it on. We thought it was one model#. So I reached out to Bella Mera and I was lucky enough to get the most attentive and caring person on the other end of my texts to them, Jennifer. After a ton of messages for 2 days and her helping right up until she was leaving work, sending pictures back and forth, Jennifer was able to find the exact veil we were looking for. Took care of calling the designer and getting it drop shipped to me in time. We live in New Jersey and we didn’t even get her wedding dress from there. If they were that great about getting a sale for a veil and going way above and beyond, I couldn’t imagine how awesome they would be to purchase a dress from. Jennifer you rock! This place was amazing!

Megan Allum: Bella Mera Bridal Boutique, literally saved the day and we are so very grateful to them and to Jennifer! Thank you truly just doesn't seem enough. We unfortunately had a bridal party issue & needed two replacement dresses. The original local store we visited unfortunately weren't able to guarantee the replacements in time...so during Memorial Day weekend we went online in search of the dresses. Luckily & thankfully we stumbled upon their Boutique & site and found the two exact dresses we needed! We placed the order on Saturday of the holiday weekend & on Tuesday we reached out upon them being open. Let me just say, the communication via a phone call, follow up email & text messages were above and beyond anything I have ever experienced!! Their compassion for our situation, the understanding of our feelings and the worry we were having, was amazing, that they "actually" cared, I mean really cared. To them, we weren't just an order or a sale. Upon confirmation of the order processing, they literally, physically checked their stock for the dresses, and confirmed in fact, there were no issues, and our order could ship immediately WITHIN under one hour time frame!!! I could not believe the one on one chat I was able to have with Jennifer & all that she did for me, in order to make certain my daughter's day wasn't "ruined"! I will forever be grateful!! The dresses were ordered, dresses packed and shipped & received within a weeks time!! From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU JENNIFER & THANK YOU BELLA MERA BRIDAL BOUTIQUE!! Megan A. ~ PA

Despina Ferraro: Bella Mera Bridal Boutique is wonderful! I was looking for Greek Orthodox stefana (crowns) for my wedding ceremony and it was the only store in the area that had a wide selection to choose from. Their customer service team was responsive to my emails, and even followed up with me after my online purchase to ensure I was satisfied. I highly recommend them!
Response: Hi Despina, your detailed review of our services and products mean a lot. We thank you for your valuable time. Stay Well!

Montana Bischof: Bella Mera is TERRIBLE. The customer service was awful- I spoke to 3 representatives and the MANAGER and all of them were rude and did not accommodate to my needs at all. One of the representatives even yelled at me on the phone. Mind you- I am a brand new customer of theirs. Heres the story- My dress showed up 4 weeks later than the original date, even though I paid for rush shipping. Since my dress was supposed to ship later than the original date, I was promised overnight shipping once they received my dress. I got an email saying they received my dress and sent it out. This was on a Monday. So I should have gotten my dress on Tuesday. I did not get my dress until Friday morning. Then when I called/emailed/texted them to figure where my dress was, nobody answered or called me back for over 2 weeks. I did receive my dress, FINALLY. I was refunded for the rush shipping. And because my dress showed up 4 weeks after the original date that it was supposed to show up, they gave me 10% off my order. I was NOT compensated for my dress not showing up overnight as promised or for the rudeness I experienced from multiple sales reps. I have never been treated so terribly by someone I was giving business to. Overall, this was an awful experience, especially since I was a new customer to them.I have such a huge distaste in my mouth for the people who manage this business. They do NOT show compassion for customers and do NOT treat their customers with any dignity. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND purchasing anything with this business. Bella Mera lacks so many qualities of a "good" business. I will never give them any business again. What an awful, awful experience to add to the already-headache of planning a wedding. If Google would allow me to post this with 0/5 stars, I most definitely would.
Response: Hi Montana Bischof, Thank you for your feedback. I'm so sorry that you felt that your experience was less than pleasant. We always try our absolute best to find immediate solutions when situations arise. You ordered a dress for $151.00 on rush to ship on 6/30/21 and we contacted you asap to alert you the Manufacturer could not honor this date due to massive import delays from the Manufacturer which is widespread right now. We gave you four options 1) Cancel the order 2) Find an in stock dress 3) Refund the rush 4) Keep the order under the new terms. You agreed to the new ship date & terms of 7/23/21 and we refunded the rush, plus gave you an additional 15% off the already 15% off discounted price you received, which was 30% off. Our stylist even worked with you to find an almost exact match for an in stock dress as back up. You were refunded $51.65 including the rush, no tax and free upgraded shipping, [see here - https://prnt.sc/1cb8zpw]. We are unable to compensate you further & we don't compensate for overnight shipping, you DID NOT pay for any shipping, you demanded we give it to you. The dress shipped early 7/12/21 instead of the 7/23 date you agreed to, with the upgraded shipping and delivered 7/15/21 as shown here [https://prnt.sc/1cbdjq1]. I also personally listened to every recorded call you had with anyone here and everyone helped you professionally. We went over and above to help you and you were never satisfied & you started harassing/threatening us. Which was a total of 55 calls you made here, 28 texts, 14 emails over a course of 14 days which was very harassing, threatening to keep calling back until we gave you more money back, this WAS after your dress was delivered on 7/15 and refunded already. You were called many times and many messages were left for you plus you said that you don't check voicemails, so you kept calling and calling asking the same thing over & over. We are truly sorry that we were not able to provide you with the experience you felt met your needs.

suzette prunty: My dresses were ordered at the last minute..Bella reached out to me and said they would do everything to help me get my bridesmaids dresses in time. With LOTS of coordination I received my dresses a few days before my day and the dress fitting was PERFECT!!! Bella went above and beyond to make sure I received my dresses…I highly recommend Bella ..they are professional and caring!!!!

khaldea suleiman: I was buying my daughters wedding dress here in California and the veil she wanted was sold out!!! We went in line and found it at Balla Mera Bridal Boutique. We placed our order we received regular updated emails about the status and where I was at in the order process. When the order was ready for delivery I got phone call co firming the order was correct because the lady was worried about the wording on the package was different then what was on their web site. She wanted to make sure I was getting what I wanted. That was so considerate in my opinion that was great customer service. I got the veil it was everything we wanted and expected. I totally recommend this place to brides because of their great communication skills.

Carley Fields: I had such an incredible experience with Bella Mera Bridal! I live in Wilmington, North Caroline and I was on the hunt for a cathedral veil. I fell in love with a veil at the Boutique I got my dress, but it was way out of my price range. I began searching everywhere else - etsy, other local boutiques, and random google searches. Finally, I came across Bella Mera Bridal who had the exact veil I was looking for for less than half the price I originally found it at! They were so quick to respond to any questions I had. I paid for rushed shipping to make sure it got here in time and they sent it without any problems! I was also able to get a veil bag and hanger through them, which was super helpful. I would absolutely suggest Bella Mera Bridal to any of my friends getting married!! I am so thankful I found them!

Brittany Belsterling: I was a bride looking for a specific veil and was able to find the style online at Bella Mera. After speaking with a representative, I went ahead and purchased online. Not only were they able to ensure that it would be to me in time for my wedding, they also sent me the update with tracking information. Honestly, anyone I spoke to over the phone or via email was amazing and I cannot thank them enough. My veil is absolutely gorgeous and I'm so happy to have ordered it from a Boutique that was so caring!!!!!!
Response: Thanks Brittany for the taking the time to write a review about our services. Very much appreciated.

The Westin Georgetown, Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Maria Rogers: 2 stars because they are not very helpful with room block requests for our wedding. I made multiple phone calls chasing after the sales manager/director (Tanya). Even though she was nice and sweet, she was not able to help me at all. We went over the number of rooms, the types of rooms we need (suites were the MOST important rooms we need) and the details for our wedding but she continue to fail to meet our requests. She was not very clear with the room block process. The agreement letter and the link we supposed to receive via email for the room block was taking weeks to get, so I called and they said "we've been behind on assigning rooms for the other room block requests but you will receive the letter sometime this week". Then this week, she sent an email stating that they don't have the suite I requested and they can only reserve one suite (which is NOT going to work). So, it took you weeks to tell me that the suite I requested is not available? To summarize my issues, 1. There’s no attention to details when it comes to customer service. 2. No clear explanation about the room block process. 3. No follow up phone call about our requests. I/We will not be staying at this hotel for our wedding.

Derek Kruger: Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I'm sure! We got locked out of the parking garage (which btw, please never park in if you are not a hotel guest). Kyle went above and beyond to help us exit the garage that had closed without warning, when we weren’t even hotel guests. True human kindness does exist.

Francesca Leo: Classic hotel in a convenient location close to Georgetown and GW. Only issue is that when we arrived at our room, we noticed items from the mini bar were opened and half eaten/missing. We reported this to the front desk and they sent someone up immediately to take care of it. However, the items were never replaced and we were charged. The charges were removed as soon as we spoke with the front desk again. Everyone was kind and addressed our concerns timely and appropriately. Would return.

Danny Cawood: Stunning lack of customer service and professionalism displayed by the Westin Georgetown; they said that they'd email me a receipt of my stay, and I never received one. I have tried to contact them via phone no less than 5 different times this week. On Monday, I simply sat on hold (never spoke to an operator or anything) for more than 30 minutes, TWICE, and ever since Monday I just keep getting a busy signal from them. They charge WAY too much for this kind of customer service, and I will not be staying here again.

Donny Sheinwald: Be careful. I parked underground and they hit me up for $56.64 per night even though i paid $24 a night to self park. They also hit me up for $38.92 for a small chardonnay in the fridge. when i opened the fridge, it must have moved because i don't drink. I've called Marriott 4 times, got international people each time and have been hung up on each time mid conversation. I am going to dispute charge with credit card, but no customer service. And you can't physically call the hotel directly.

Tony Moore: Great location for walking into Georgetown and Dupont Circle. Nice little pool, which we used on two hot days. I always miss a bar and restaurant in a hotel, so that's the only strike.

Natasha Pradhan: We got locked out of the parking garage (which btw, please never park in if you are not a hotel guest). Kyle went above and beyond to help us exit the garage that had closed without warning, when we weren’t even hotel guests. True human kindness does exist.

רועי שפושניק: Nice hotel, nothing more Large rooms, but in the corona era, feels like it's an apartment building not beyond. Quite mediocre service, mostly by the staff at night but apparently that's the standard in the hotel. As a regular guest of the hotel chain, I expected much more

Thomas G: Nice centrally located hotel. The rooms are roomy, and the bathroom is huge. But disappointed that on-premise restaurants are currently closed, including no option for breakfast.

Macy's: what do users think?

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights, the women's clothing layout displays of colors style, etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking. It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

Mike Sackie: It used to be a really good place to shop at but now the customer service just inst there and. Either is the clothes where did it all go? Hopefully one day it will come back 🙏 thanks for ever seeking new styles

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

Behind the Veil, LLC: what do users think?

Erin & Chase Rustand: Behind the Veil was AMAZING! From when I initially booked them for the wedding day they communicated consistently and promptly, answered all of my questions, and sent checklists and reminders to help my girls and I prepare for the morning. Joan was our makeup artist and she did such a beautiful job. She knew exactly how to compliment everyone's features without going overboard, she was kind and conversational, relaxed and FUN. The morning was actually enjoyable and it's a memory I'll cherish forever! I highly recommend them for your next event that needs a glam squad. Thank you Behind the Veil! Service: Makeup services

Ashley Reed: Behind the veil was great for our on-site makeup and hair! I have NEVER been in a wedding where we had to move girls around because they were done early instead of being behind schedule. We had more time than we needed for touch up because they worked so fast and well together. It is great that they have a physical location for trials and that you get to work with the girls you trial with (even if you’re like me and book it a year before your wedding). My head artists Heather and Joseline were open to criticism and really worked to make sure I had the look I wanted for the day! They were both so fun to work with and talk to, which really helps when the nerves start setting in. Everything turned out so well and I was so happy with the service. Photos by Lauren Nievod Photography

Alison Sacco: I recently hired Behind the Veil for my wedding. They were amazing! They were professional, caring and communicative throughout the entire planning process and made sure every detail was correct. Lauren and Noha were incredible with hair and makeup and we were even done with plenty of time for touch ups. Highly recommend!Services: Makeup services, Hairstyling

Kara Lemmons: Words can’t describe how thankful I am for Behind the Veil! They were extremely flexible, easy to work with, understanding, and so talented! The moment I saw their amazing work at my friends wedding, I couldn’t wait to sign up! I wasn’t the easiest bride because of my work shift schedule, uncertainty on what I wanted and also had a black eye on the day of the wedding. But this company did EVERYTHING they could to help me! The team was always on time, energized, and excited to work with us. Holly was accommodating and worked with my mom and I to get our hair just right. We loved her calm, cool and friendly personality! The make up artist, Angela, did SUCH a terrific job on my eye and make up, no one even noticed my black eye the day of the wedding! The make up was striking but so natural! She was perfect! I absolutely loved it! I got many compliments on how well she did! I dont know what i would have done without her! Laurie was so patient, kind, understanding and such a delight to work with as well! I couldn’t have asked for a better team! Thank you Behind the Veil for making my day better than I could have ever imagined!

Ariel Winkley: I was married on Nov 3rd in Baltimore City and selected Behind the Veil for my hair and makeup team. I could not have been happier with Thea and Shanel for hair and Kelsey and Nicole for makeup. Each stylist arrived on time at the designated location and really listened to what each bridesmaid and family member wanted and the level of makeup they were comfortable with. Everyone was thrilled with how their hair and makeup came out, and I could not have been happier with the level of professionalism not only from the stylists but also from the administrative team. Most importantly, the hair and makeup team was very flexible. I had done my hair and makeup trial back in April (which in retrospect was too far in advance) and ended up changing my mind for both hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. Kelsey and Thea were extremely accommodating and with a combination of pictures and descriptions of what I wanted, were able to create the exact look I was going for. It was such an amazing day which was made even better by the fact that I felt beautiful and because working with Behind the Veil was so stress-free.

DARREN KIRCHMAN: Nice place to het groomed

Katie Rizer: Behind the Veil was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. They were informative, responsive, and personable in their approach. I used my trial make up as my engagement shoot make up. Joan was incredible at listening to what I wanted and made me feel at ease the whole time. Plus, I loved talking with her about our love for our pets! Joan also did the make up for the bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, flower girls, and me on the wedding day. She did an excellent job managing time and making sure each person had time for final touch ups before the ceremony. I have never felt more beautiful.

Nordstrom: what do users think?

Mark Blanchard: I've been to at least a dozen different Nordstroms in various states, and this is unfortunately the worst and lowest quality one I've ever shopped at. Hardly any inventory, extremely disorganized, hard to find staff, merchandise is not current, and displays are dirty and broken. Returns are easy, and staff is nice when you get hold of someone.
Response: We're sorry to hear this was your experience. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, we will certainly pass this feedback along to our teams. -Tasha

Betty Entzminger: When you want to have an incredible shopping experiences go to Nordstrom. I at an event where we had such a great time on Sunday for my friend Renowned Make Up Artist launching and from the Assistant Store Manager and everyone else that was a part of planning and executing Derrick event Y'ALL are the best!! Which makes Nordstrom one of the leaders in Customer Satisfaction! Look at our smiles..Thank you Nordstrom for having us!

Hilda Kroll: Three floors of lovely things that are beautifully displayed. I'm not ever going to spend $500 on a purse, but this is a good place to shop for those who can and do. There's a personal stylist available, a shoe shine stand, a cafe. I have friends who shop here all the time and love it.

Louise Watts: The staff is so nice! First time back in a mall in 24 months. They were helpful but didn't hover. Patient! Bought a great sweater, tee shirt and pants, all on sale going into rotation immediately.

Rasha Sharif: I go there a lot to return my online orders or exchange them. I rarely will ship to be honest in this store. The customer service is ok and they let you self validate for the parking. I just find it easy for me to find what I want online then try it at home, keep what I like and return what is not working.

Breda Purdy: We went to Nordstrom to shop but found a gem: their restaurant. Everything we had was amazing from sandwiches to salads. I could not believe how wonderful the tomato soup tasted. The staff there could not be nicer. So glad we happened to wander in. Highly recommend.

Eric Larson: Should have asked his name, but the gentleman working Mens Fragrances around 1:45 on 5/16/22 found my misplaced wedding ring and returned it to me. Now that's what I call customer service!

REALTOR: In January I received an email for 50$ off of my next purchase and I have yet to receive it from Nona Parker. I have emailed her and spoke to her over the phone and still no code. 50$ may not be that much to some but it definitely helps when you have a cart full of items please don’t send emails if you aren’t going to follow through with them.
Response: So sorry to hear this! Would you mind sending us an email at dgtlstrrvwsmb@nordstrom.com with a copy of this review and your preferred contact information? We'd like to follow up with you on this. Thank you, -Bee

Brandyn: I came here for one goal and was to get a pair of shoes. Richard from the shoe department was extremely helpful and extremely friendly. He was able to find the shoes I was specifically looking for order them and now are currently on my feet. Go see Richard he is the best dressed in the department

CgScor G: The place seems small from the inside of the mall but is a pretty good size. Now it was a little confusing, if you're looking for children clothing. You'll feel like you're in a different store cause is a separate entrance but same store department.

Saks Fifth Avenue: what do users think?

Renee Edwards: Not so much for the brick and mortar shop but the online store. Purchased a black pair of Christian Louboutin sandals and the online store sent nude. Had to reorder and make an additional purchase as I has no time to wait for the refund process and...wait for it...received nude sandals again. What store has the audacity to ship what they want despite what was ordered??? Literally sat here with 1700.00 worth of shoes that some associate felt suitable to send what they chose to or what was in stock...definitely lost a costumer for life...me!

Kymie Pleasant: The customer service at Chevy Chase is extremelydespicable! And staff very discriminatory! I'm confident this location will be closing soon just as Neiman's and the others along Wisconsin Ave.

Sada Blu: Believe the reviews !!! The young man that answered the phone in woman’s shoes was so rude. I asked for a manager and he insisted I tell him what the problem was for him to even help. Horrible customer service . Had an attitude for no reason at all. I just went to Nordstrom and they helped with no issue smh

skating43: Online or in the store, I've have no problems. I enjoy shopping in the store to get first hand look at the merchandise, but what I want is mostly on line.

Wayne HarRell: Saks has changed it's M.O. The young salesmen and the young at heart have high-end street style with a purpose. Gone are the stuffy days! And always a greet selection of individual quality clothing.

Taylor Friedman: Love shopping here! Store is beautiful and spacious. They recently moved the men’s store to this location from down the street and it’s an excellent layout. Great selection of menswear and customer service is fantastic! Ryan has helped me out many times and I can’t recommend him enough although all the staff are great!

S M: I ordered a shirt from Saks and it came from this store. They did not wrap it as it said to do on my order and they sent a shirt that had obviously sat on the rack and been touched thousands of times. Do better.

Han Chen: Very rude and despicable staff. I bought lots of merchandise and forgot to ask to validate parking. When I went back to ask for parking validation, all of them were busy chatting with each other or busy checking their phones. They keep sending me to different counters. Eventually one person reluctantly getting the validation while cursed at me. I heard her. She probably thought I couldn’t hear her. I said nothing while she was using racial slurs to curse at me. I guess I could have make a scene but decided those people were disposable human beings who don’t deserve my attention and time. Disgusting and lowest.

Di Reds: It was okay. (Chevy Chase MD location) Not my style, felt so many eyes on me 😒....1st time so maybe in NYC is better...idk how my bothers like it in NY location...its probably better. I didn't go to the mens level here, so I wouldn't know 🤷🏽‍♀️

Carol McIntosh: Renewed experience, just beautiful clean and nice. Employees please keep up the fantastic work that you're doing. Lovely, simple lovely. To everyone please shop at this store the merchandise and customer service will blow your socks away. Thank you for a fantastic day.

Marriott Marquis Washington, DC: what do users think?

Brian Metzger: Very nice hotel. We stay at quite a few Marriott's, and this is one of our favorites. Beautiful open area with a bar, get snacks, and big tables to hang out with friends or coworkers. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Everything is exceptionally clean. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and other stores within easy walking distance.
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit. We hope we can welcome you back again soon!

M L G: In DC for a conference, so the location next to the Convention Center is perfect. The tunnel allows for rapid access and no rain or weather issues. The staff are wonderful and always helpful. The lobby is gorgeous with plenty of places to meet up. For the price at a flagship hotel though, the room is just average and although clean looking, the shower smells strongly of mold. The bed's acceptable, but with very flat pillows. The lack of soundproofing is the biggest negative, however. Every night there are multiple sirens and quite loud traffic noises, disrupting sleep. Several others in our group have the same complaint. I've frequently stayed in rooms overlooking roads and highways, but rarely experienced this level of noise.
Response: Dear M L G, Thank you for taking the time to post about your recent visit. I was pleased to read that you found our hotel to be conveniently located and that you received helpful service from our team. I appreciate your feedback regarding your guest room and will be sure to share your comments with the housekeeping team. Should your travels bring you back to Washington, DC, I do hope we can welcome you back! Sincerely, Philip Shortino Resident Manager

Charles Hanskat: Great location if attending a convention at the convention center. Easy access from the convention center metro station without needing to walk outside. Rooms face outside or inward to the atrium. Atrium rooms are quiet. Room size is on the small side but well appointed with large flat screen TV that has streaming services too. Internet access is fast and easy. Desk is a little limited in size. Bathroom is shower only but had plenty of light for shaving and makeup. Good sized closet with a safe too. Beds and bedding are typical Marriott quality that is quite comfortable. Staff are friendly. The M Club just opened back up and is well stocked for breakfast and appitizers in the evening.

Victor Olszewski: Simply the best experience I've had at a hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing! They are so attentive and caring. I've never been so well taken care of. I left yesterday and I'm in nice hotel, but I miss the service at the Marquis. It's so rare anymore to receive accommodations or services where you genuinely feel cared for. The best!
Response: Dear Victor Olszewski, Simply the best experience; thank you! Your kind words regarding our staff are truly appreciated and I do hope we can welcome you back again soon! Sincerely, Philip Shortino Resident Manager

Lou Costanza: Excellent location. The hotel has a lot of amenities. M Club is open 24 hours and has a delicious breakfast with lots of selections including bacon, eggs, oatmeal, smoked salmon, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. Staff are very friendly. Comfortable bedding, the bathroom is a decent size and there is a safe in the closet. Fast response to questions and/or service requests via the Marriott App. Really like this hotel!
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit. We are so glad that you were able to enjoy our M Club and that you found our staff to be friendly!

Louis C: Beautiful, modern hotel with a huge lobby, tons of meeting space, and great views of the mall and capital building from the higher floors. Can’t beat the location if you’re going to the convention center. If you have access to the lounge you’re in for a treat. The fitness center is massive with tons of equipment. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Really, all around a great hotel.
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit. We are glad you had the opportunity to utilize the fitness center and that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful!

Heather Theriaque: The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. I never heard any noise from neighboring rooms, although there was a little street noise at times, not unusual for a city. I ate at the casual restaurant twice and enjoyed the food. Access to the convention center without having to go outside is very nice. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Some things could use updating. The towels were rough, the headboard was all scratched up and had a penny stuck in it. My view was the church across the street and the homeless and their tents. Made me realize I shouldn't complain about the scratchy towels.
Response: Dear Heather Theriaque, I appreciate you taking the time to post about your recent stay and was pleased to read that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful. I will be sure to share your feedback regarding some of the items in your guest room with our housekeeping team and do hope we can welcome you back again in the future. Sincerely, Philip Shortino Resident Manager

Megan Meline: Beautiful hotel, great rooms and bathrooms, quiet and insulated from noise. I would absolutely stay here again. Was super convenient to get to the convention center on cold/rainy days in the underground terminal that connected the two. Loved the water features in the lobby, and the bar was a good size for how many people were always there.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to post about your recent visit. We hope we can welcome you back again soon!

Ebone Cruz (The Entrepreneur Plug): Beautiful Hotel and perfect space for a large conference. Oh my goodness the staff were amazing, well to me they were during the entire conference. The conference I attended occupied 4 floor and even the upstairs area for workshop spaces. Covid procedures were handled well to ensure all conference goers were safe and centrally located for others to walk to if they didn't stay at the location. The inside restaurant had great breakfast and the lobby bar area was a great meeting area to catch up and socialize with other conference goers.
Response: Thank you for the kind words regarding your recent visit!

krishna panchal: Hotel was very nice. The staff members were very nice and respectful. The room service was excellent too. The rooms were cleaned and very beautifully address everything. The only thing that didn't like about it was the coffee I am just being more specific about coffee cuz I am a big fan of coffee otherwise I would have given 5 stars. The hotel otherwise was very excellent and affordable

JW Marriott Washington, DC: what do users think?

C R**d: Great stay! Very relaxing and comfortable environment with very friendly staff. It didn't matter if I was having breakfast, enjoying a drink at the bar, or walking out... Everybody was super friendly and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation. I had the added bonus of being able to see both the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial from my room. Even saw the President's motorcade leaving for him to address the Senate. Awesome!

Casey Garber: Stayed for 5 nights 5/23/2022-5/28/2022 and it was excellent. We had a standard double room. Beds comfortable, plenty of outlets, large TV, very quiet. Room was spotless. We even had a nice view of the Washington Monument! The staff we encountered were all wonderful. We ordered room service one night and the food was very good and packaged well. The location cannot be beat! It's walking distance to just about everything depending on your stamina. By the end of the trip we were pretty tired. Metro station is only about 2 blocks away. Smart elevators were nice! Highly recommend staying here. My family of 3 had a great time.

John Tucker: Great location. Very nice staff. I had a base room with two full-sized beds. Only concern was that my top sheet was not long enough to tuck in...literally got in bed, pulled the covers up to my chest and felt a rush of air come from the bottom of the bed. Why housekeeping made the bed that was is beyond me... and when I tried to tuck it in, it was too short at the top to even come within 2 or 3 feet of the top of the headboard. Nice room otherwise.

Abigail Campos: Stayed for four days at this property. Centrally located to DC and is near several metro stations. Beautiful property and prices are reasonable. As a Titanium Elite, perks were limited. Lounge was closed but they offered 750 bonus points per day or a $60 breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. Interaction with staff was minimal but they do recognize your status and are reachable via the Marriott Bonvoy app. We did attempt to get upgraded but we're not successful. The room itself was a standard King and was beautifully designed.

Annette Tatum: Beautiful hotel, walking distance to all the monuments and the White House. Do not waste your money on a rental car because its easier to walk and not have to worry about parking. Excellent location and staff, will recommend giving this place a try when in Washington, DC.

Hampus Engstroem: Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. Stayed for 5 nights 5/23/2022-5/28/2022 and it was excellent.

Brenna Belletti: Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated and clean. We had a lovely view from our room as well. Convenient Starbucks coffee located in the shop in the lobby. I would stay here again!

Nick Principe: Solid choice for near the White House. Close enough to metro, food, and bars. Valet was organized and competent, which is very appreciated. Staff were good... it was nice to get daily housekeeping again. The elevators are great - sounds stupid, but once you get it, you'll agree...

Asma Alavi: The hotel is neat, clean. And the staff is friendly. The room was spacious. There is a corner bakery right outside the hotel. The location is amazing. Just 5-10 mins walk to all the attractions. We loved our stay there

Nathan Viehland: For the price of the rooms the beds should actually be big enough for 2 people. I don't know why they put 2 double beds instead of queens in the room. Second off they are as hard a rock. I have been to less nicer hotels and they would have sleep numbers in every room. This hotel is a joke and don't recommend for vacation.

Park Hyatt Washington D.C.: what do users think?

Patrick Hill: Excellent all around. First off, the location is perfect, tucked away from K Street and close to Rock Creek making it more of a quiet location relative to other parts of the city. The building, lobby etc all look very new, clean and crisp. The room itself was large, modern and had a very comfortable bed. We had one of the Junior Suite with the half bath. It was a great deal using Hyatt Points and paying $100 for the upgrade over a standard room. Enjoyed arriving to fresh cookies as well from the staff. Very nice touch. My one gripe with many Hyatt properties is the pocket door for main bathrooms however the pocket door at the Park Hyatt was substantial and allowed for more privacy. We had both dinner and breakfast room service and both meals were fantastic, delivered on time and well worth the price. I assume everything was cooked from Blue Duck Tavern which has rave reviews. I did not have the opportunity to check out the pool or fitness center, but can only imagine those facilities are top notch. Finally the staff were all friendly and polite. The service like that matters. I look forward to returning again soon.
Response: Greetings Patrick Hill, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our hotel; we appreciate that! We are very happy to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us and we can't wait to welcome you back again very soon. Best Regards, Donna

Chris Turner: This was our first time staying at the Park Hyatt and it was a wonderful experience. The moment we arrived, the bellhop Jorge, gave us a warm welcome and helped us unload our luggage and four young kids. When we checked in, our room did not have a great view so they upgraded us to the Georgetown Suite and it was phenomenal! The room was gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. The room service was delicious, especially the breakfast. When we were ready to check out, Jorge once again warmly greeted us and helped us bring our luggage down and load it into our car. I know it can be hard to work on Christmas, but the staff were cheerful and warm. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in DC.
Response: Chris Turner, We are delighted to hear that your stay met all of your expectations. We will make sure that we let Jorge know that you gave him a rave review as well. We hope to see you again in the near future! Tonia

Doug Gwilliam: My flights got changed which gave me an extra night in DC and I already had another (Grand) Hyatt booked, so I only needed one additional night. Park Hyatt was available at a good rate, so I decided to book the one night. I got an email from the general manager about a week ahead of time asking for any additional needs or items I might need. Upon checking, which was very late due to delayed flights, the front desk staff was so professional and happy to see me and help me with anything. As a Globalist, I was told my room had been upgraded, which was a very nice gesture. Upon arriving to my room, it was so nice and roomy. I had a personalized note from the manager and some chocolates. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long time and the huge rain shower in the huge bathroom was so relaxing. Overall, the stay was fantastic and I wish I would have booked more nights at the Park, as my experience my other (Grand) for the remaining 4 nights of my trip, was not as nice.
Response: Dear Doug Gwilliam, Thank you for taking time to let us know about your experience. We are delighted to hear our staff were so professional and friendly. We truly appreciate your loyalty as one of our Globalist and we are glad we could show our gratitude by upgrading your room. It is excellent to hear the bed was most comfortable and the rain shower relaxing. We are overjoyed you had a fantastic stay with us and we hope to welcome you back the next time you are in DC! Warmest regards, Tonya

Mariya K: Good hotel but I expected more from a five star hotel. The front desk staff was friendly except one black man he was a bit rude. Also they should clean their carpet in the front as the first impression when you walk in leaves a feeling of a dirty place. I stayed in a suit and it was nice and had everything you need. The only thing they need to change armchairs as those have old school shrunk covers. I decided to make a reservation for a dinner at the Blue Duck tavern which was recommended by the front desk and I was told they had a Michelin star. I’ve been to Michelin stars restaurants before so I had some high expectations. But the restaurant disappointed me a little bit. First there was a little confusion where the host station was. When I walk in there’s a bar in the front and I told I had a reservation and a barman told I could seat anywhere the I walked further and saw a hostess. I was by myself and they had plenty of empty tables. It was an hour and a half before they close. But they decided to seat me in a totally empty area which I didn’t like even though I asked to seat at the different area which had empty tables. The hostess asked a waiter but he refused. I ordered a cocktail and after sipping I noticed the glass was all dirty which is unacceptable in any restaurant but especially at the restaurant with a Michelin star. The food was tasty. When I received a check I expected they would take that cocktail out of the bill or offer me a discount which they didn’t. So I left with a bitter aftertaste. No wonder why they didn’t receive a star from Michelin for the past years. The service leaves much to be desired.
Response: Hello Kalashnik, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay. We appreciate all the feedback we can get about our guests' experiences. Please allow me to apologize for the less than perfect Hyatt experience. Your feedback has been shared with our entire management team, and we will evaluate ways to improve our operation. Again we appreciate your concerns and we will consider your comments while making changes. Thank you for choosing Hyatt. Best, Anisa

Vivian Cheng: Great hotel. Got a junior suite, which was spacious and comfortable. Good lighting in the room too. It was clean and well-maintained. Not a lot of street noise, which is always a bonus. Amenities are nice. Shower pressure is low, but the shower is spacious. Note: Blue Duck Tavern is worth a visit. Also, hotel is about 7 minutes from the Foggy Bottom metro stop.
Response: Greetings Vivian Cheng, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and giving us a 5 star rating. We really appreciate that. Very sorry to hear about the water pressure in the shower. this information has been communicated to our team to be addressed. I would agree that the Blue Duck Tavern is worth a visit. We can't wait to welcome you back to the Park Hyatt Washington D.C very soon. Best Regards, Donna

Frederick E Stidam Jr: Great customer service from the manager Mr.Cho ,the valet team, house keeping, and front desk staff. 👏 . Any and everyone we interacted with with was friendly and professional. The room clean spacious and comfortable. This location perfect for access to great dining and fun dining.
Response: Hello There Frederick, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay. We are overjoyed that our staff at the hotel provided great customer service, we appreciate your kind comments. We are glad to hear we met cleanliness and comfort expectations. We hope to be able to welcome you back soon! Kind Regards, Anisa

Peter Luu: I stayed here March 5th - March 7th, 2022. The front desk was very helpful, with the door attendants proactively asking if I needed help with luggage. Service felt personal - I had emailed with the hotel prior to arriving and asked for recommendations and they provided a list of things to do, plus accommodated my requests for some small toiletries in the room. The room itself and decor of the hotel was luxurious and felt comfortable. The Park Hyatt branding, "Luxury is Personal", felt well-delivered here. I also ate at the attached restaurant, Blue Duck Tavern, and had some of the best duck and desserts of my life. While the location is not situated downtown, it is still relatively easy to get to places and makes a great vacation. Out of the many hotels I've stayed at, the incredible level of care to detail has not been matched by any other hotel. I highly recommend it for a positive experience.
Response: Hello Peter Luu, Thank you so much for sharing your stay experience with us. We really appreciate it. We are glad that your stay met your expectations and that you felt our personal service during your time here. Thank you for your patronage and we hope to see you again soon. Tonia

Sek Eun John Lee: My wife, our 20-month-old son, and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Park Hyatt Washington DC. Staff members were welcoming and professional. Our suite was widely-spaced and gave our family much-needed privacy. Food via room service from Blue Duck Tavern was delicious. Location of the hotel was amazing given its proximity to Georgetown and Dupont Circle. We will definitely stay here again.
Response: Hello Sek Eun John Lee, Thank you for providing your feedback on your recent stay. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us here at the Park Hyatt Washington D.C. We are glad you enjoyed your room and the food we had to offer. We hope to welcome you back soon again! Kind Regards, Anisa

Adam Wilton: This was my first stay at a Park Hyatt property and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had an amazing stay and it is now one of my favorite hotels/brands. The service is excellent with the front desk staff being super friendly and professional - some of the best service I have ever experienced at a hotel. The room was very nice and clean with high end amenities and finishes. Since I booked through AMEX’s FHR program, I received a $100 property credit which I was able to use for room service at the Blue Duck Tavern which had excellent food - truly some of the best food I’ve ever had. Unfortunately there is only valet parking available so I just parked at a George Washington University parking ramp which was much cheaper, but the hotel is actually quite reasonably priced and rivaled some much more expensive 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at. Overall, the Park Hyatt brand shocked me on how nice it is, and I intend to visit more properties in the portfolio when I travel.
Response: Dear Adam Wilton, We are thrilled to be the first Park Hyatt you have stayed with! It is fantastic to hear you had an amazing stay and is now one of your favorite hotels/brand. We are pleased our service was excellent and the front desk staff were super friendly and professional. We are overjoyed that it was some of the best service you have ever experienced! It is wonderful your room was very nice and clean and you enjoyed our Blue Duck Tavern. We are ecstatic it is some of the best food you have ever had! Thank you for the insight on parking and on pricing. We are truly honored you will be visiting more Park Hyatts and will look forward to your next visit with us! Warmest regards, Tonya

Harlen Smith: It is late June 2022 and this hotel is pretending it is June 2020. Except that they are charging 2022 prices while providing 2020 deep covid level services. Tgd staff are great, but there’s no real room service, no minibar, no spa, the pool is closed. The only food available on site is from the Michelin starred restaurant downstairs, which is only open for a few brief windows per day. Breakfast is normal, but lunch and dinner are over wrought and over rich. Not something you can eat multiple days in a row. I paid $800/night to stay in a mid sized suite with my 5 year old. We pay that kind of money because we want access to good food in our room while traveling. Park Hyatt DC did not deliver on that. It’s also about a decade past due for a renovation, but I would have been fine with that if they weren’t pulling a covid service con. Do not stay here until they get their ish together. Even then, management of this hotel has proven that their judgement cannot be trusted. So maybe just don’t ever stay here.
Response: Dear Harlen Smith, Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us . We appreciate the insight on our guest rooms and our food options, as we recover from the impacts of Covid -19. We value your feedback to make improvements. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to have the chance to provide a better experience in the future. Aneshia

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart Supercenter offers a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and other optional food and items to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. This location offers a free underground parking garage.

Nsoseh Quistoran: I went there to pick some stuff for myself. Good prizing and amazing products. Recommended to go shopping 🛒🛒

Will Kidd: I'm from Michigan this is my first time being to a Walmart set up like this and it was great basement parking and the crazy thing the escalator for your shopping cart that's wow 😲

Brittany Jeffries: It's crowded, there are never enough lines, and the place is heavily disorganized. But when you need stuff late night, it's nice to have around. I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

K A: Easy, convenient and affordable shopping. I really enjoyed shopping at this particular Walmart location. It’s big, organized and well stocked. They have different sections such as the pharmacy, bike shop, auto care, money center, entertainment and household items section to mention a few. Express Self Checkout✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Entrance✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Parking 🅿️ Adequate Parking Space ✅ Shopping Cart Conveyor ✅ 🚻Restroom ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Restroom

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? Please consider getting some kind employees for self checkout. 04/25/22 6:00 pm

Macy's: what do users think?

Mark Blanchard: Understaffed, tired looking, and disorganized. Returns are easy, and the staff at the return desk are very nice. It's also easy and quick to validate parking, so you can park for free in the ramp.

Rick Javier: Apparently, this building was one of the first department stores dated a century ago! It’s quite a sight for a Macys. I rated this store two stars because the selection was horrible. Not what I would expect for such a large store. Very basic.

Kev- keepingitreal: This store is some what clean. Macy’s offers a verity of clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and a host of other items at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking spaces in the parking garage but need better lights.

Kris Pahel: Free shop for an 11-year-old who need it underwear. We were visiting from out of town. We were able to find underwear. And we left. Store has a very nice layout. It's extremely large. Possibly the largest Macy's I've ever seen. Located in probably the coolest mall I've ever seen underground and hidden in plain sight.

Hilda Kroll: Convenient parking and easy to get to by Metro. Three floors of housewares, linens, clothing for the whole family, cosmetics, jewelry, and more. Lots of sales throughout the year.

Portia Honu: Overall shopping experience was just fine. Had a bad experience with the lady with Mac cosmetics though. She took a while to attend to us and was quite dismissive the whole entire time. She literally asked me to walk outside and use my phone to check the lighting of the test makeup on my face and then basically told me the look wasn't satisfying because I had bad skin. Was in a hurry to get done with me. I certainly did not make a purchase. Ladies with the perfume and Estee Lauder stands were quite helpful however. I can't get this rude Mac attendant off my mind!

Jessie Surles: We didn't end up buying anything, nothing wrong with it. Just didn't find anything we liked, it was very clean and smelled great. But we couldn't find anyone to help us look at the watches :/ a little disappointing.

K H: I came to this location to return some cosmetics items that were not the best for my skin. I was helped by the two Fatimas. They were some of the most pleasant and professional sales associates I have ever dealt with. These two made my experience so enjoyable that I would more than likely return to this location in the future. I am so grateful for their outstanding customer service. I will likely return to this location although Tysons is closer to home for me. Thank you to both Fatimas!!!

kam greene: Pentagon City Macy's is so awesome! Clean, wide isles. Good, supportive staff and easier to find good quality merchandise. Can't wait to go back.

Wittynpretty Pretty: This macys made me want to shop inside stores again instead of online. It was clean and well organized. My ONLY problem is there was a VERY RUDE male cashier/ he looked Ethiopian in juniors section upstairs near the clearance and dressing rooms. That was talking to what im assuming was a family/ friend in native tongue for 10 minutes.. she wasnt checking out or anything. I stood there awkwardly waiting to check out when they FINALLY finished talking he rudely pointed and Said go over there. He pointed to NOWHERE and was content with himself... I ended up walking around and checking out with some pleasant ladies in customer service though.
