Ginkgo Gardens: what do users think?
a
a: I finally had the chance to stop by Ginkgo Gardens, and it completely exceeded my expectations. There is a WIDE variety of plants, planters, tools, and more! During checkout, I told the man I was just beginning my gardening journey and he pulled out this book to help me with the plants I bought today! Thank you so much for the amazing experience and exceptional customer service. This isn’t the closest plant nursery to me, but it is 100% worth the trip. I will definitely be back soon!
Scott Nguyen
Scott Nguyen: Some of the plants sold here did not have any roots, so what chance do they have in surviving? The other plant we bought was fine though, still this nursery need to either check their greenhouse or suppliers for rooted plants.
Kristen Diaz
Kristen Diaz: Just moved here from Miami & have been searching for a new fav plant shop. Ive explored so many & this one is definitely it! Great selection of plants at reasonable prices. They have an outdoor & indoor section plus an upstairs portion. I’ve gotten so many plants from here already. The staff is also friendly & helpful. Recommend.
Alison A
Alison A: I was very excited to come hear about hearing good things. I was looking for something particular that a friend had found here. I asked a long haired male employee for help, and he just told me to look around for it…. The place is huge with lots of variety of plants, so I wasted time because I couldn’t find it… with that being said, very poor customer service. Wasted my time here.
Sheree P
Sheree P: I was recently in an unfortunately common predicament. My husband was on a business trip and my daughter was in quarantine from Pre school. So I was limited in what I could do but was also responsible for entertaining a busy toddler. During our time together, my daughter and I prepared our garden to plant vegetables. I was able to call Ginko, talk about specifics of our plan and pay over the phone. Someone even gladly brought the merchandise to my car. The customer service representative went above and beyond in taking the time to speak with me and my daughter about our desires and even researched a topic for us. I feel valued as a customer and will always come back for my gardening needs.
Ieshia E. Butler
Ieshia E. Butler: Had a great day shopping for plants at Ginkgo. There is such wide variety and the staff was very helpful
Ashley Stewart
Ashley Stewart: Ginkgo Gardens is a cozy neighborhood plant store where I get almost all of my houseplants and planters. They also have a wide selection if outdoor plants. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the plants are beautiful. Sometimes I just visit the store for some pleasant browsing.
Rodney Newman
Rodney Newman: FANTASTIC enjoyed the staff and my Bee Balm plants are beautiful!! Thanks.

Frager's Garden Center: what do users think?
Uncle Poodle
Uncle Poodle: Fragers is but a shell of what it once was. Poor management has driven away all the institutional memory. Recently a staff member was assault by a member of management team. She gave two weeks notice and was fired on the spot. The general manager must have something over the owners. Nobody could be that blind to how this business has declined since the takeover.
Simona Ciampi
Simona Ciampi: A staple of the Capitol Hill neighborhood, people here wear t-shirts to show their love for Fragers. Kind, knowledgeable, and with great variety, it is a little more pricey then Home Depot but the service beats them all. Love this place!
Response: We appreciate your positive feedback and hope to see you back in soon!
Javier Reyes
Javier Reyes: Nice pots and plants
Sandra King
Sandra King: Love everything there! People are knowledgeable and friendly, patient and kind! I drive up from Virginia because they have such a nice variety!

David Larter
David Larter: Great Christmas trees every year. Friendly staff. We go back every year.

Olde City Garden: what do users think?
Lindsey Franklin
Lindsey Franklin: I am not a very adept gardener or plant owner, so I really appreciated how helpful Jeremy was. It’s a great neighborhood gardening center. Picked up a cute pot for my monstera. Will be back.
Jarred Ricks
Jarred Ricks: Great place to buy firewood. Nice sized pieces that you can pick on your own for a good price. Convenient for those who don’t need to purchase wood by the cord. A nice neighborhood gem.
Robert DeJaco
Robert DeJaco: Best place to get a Christmas tree. Sam was great helping us make a choice and load it on our car.
Jess H
Jess H: Went to try the Spicy Water food. Delicious! Added bonus- we got to shop for a few perennials after a nice lunch of chicken, fries, and perfect plantains.
Response: Thank you for the 5-star review! We greatly appreciate your support of local business during this time. Spicy Water has been such a hit, they'll be here every Sunday!
Stefano Negri
Stefano Negri: Super kind staff, Christmas trees looks great, nice fire pit to get warm while chosing the tree...they should put a hot chocolate / Glühwein stand, my kids and I would have been happy clients :-)
Response: Thank you for the excellent review, Stefano! We love the idea of a hot chocolate stand, maybe next year ;)
Gregory Moran
Gregory Moran: Smaller than a big box store, but they had the tomato seedlings we were looking for! Always happy to support local.
John Moore
John Moore: A great locally owned plant (and fire wood) center. Sometimes a little low on stock but worth a visit for healthy plants!
Keith Marzullo
Keith Marzullo: Old City is an unusual establishment. I walk by it frequently: this week, they were still selling pansies along with calibrachoa, zinnias, and marigolds. The people are friendly, the selection good, and I enjoy the non-chain vibe. The place does looks abandoned during the winter.
Anya B
Anya B: Great experience! I called ahead to see if they had what I needed and Tom was helpful and informative. They had a great selection of plants as well.
Response: Thanks for the 5-star review, Anya! We are always happy to help! We look forward to seeing you in the future.

Lowe's Garden Center: what do users think?
Altagracia Mendez
Altagracia Mendez: The plants in the garden center here are horribly mistreated! I went there looking for a few indoor plants and left with none because all of them were dying or dead. Most of them had extremely dry soil and you can tell they hadn’t been looked after. People there are obviously not doing there job. If you’re looking for plants, I recommend going to Home Depot instead. I went there after and while they have a smaller selection, the plants looked much much healthier.
Frank Guidry
Frank Guidry: Always up to date with seasonal related flowers, plants and trees. Currently they are loaded with quality live Christmas trees.
Ilsy Marilyn
Ilsy Marilyn: Awesome store.

Urban Jungle: what do users think?
Ryan Ellis
Ryan Ellis: I ordered a succulent garden to surprise my wife. The arrangement was awesome, but the plants were not doing well after a couple of days. I contacted Urban Jungle. They delivered a brand new garden and let me keep the old one. The new succulent garden is doing much better. Good customer service!
Caitlin Hone
Caitlin Hone: I ordered a Plants that cost nearly $60 from this business in April and never received it (it’s now August). I was not refunded my money and I have never been contacted by the business though I have emailed and called and texted them. I understand that the spring was an incredibly difficult time for everyone but I was still charged money for a product that I never received.
Nicole Choi
Nicole Choi: I gave Urban Jungle a chance because of their prices, but I had a very poor experience with them. I ordered a plant to be delivered on Monday, and I received no confirmation, even through email, about my order being placed or an estimated delivery time. However, I know my order was processed because I was charged. During their business hours, i tried calling and texting, as they suggest doing in their voicemail, but I received no response. I have no way of knowing if my order was actually delivered or not, yet if I reach out to the recipient, it’ll ruin the surprise! I was using Urban Stems, but again, I have Urban Jungle a try because of their competitive prices. However, the customer service is so poor at Urban Jungle that I’ll be going back to Urban Stems.

Wanda B
Wanda B: Shop here whenever in area & in need of flowers & gardening supplies. Orderly stocked inventory & courteous employees makes it a lovely shopping experience every time! Only criticism is they are a little pricey!
Tracy Needham
Tracy Needham: I think they have just about everything you need in terms of plants, herbs, etc. Staff are friendly for the most part. A lot of times you have to track someone down if you have questions. Parking is awful. I would never go on a weekend due to parking.
Kristin Dunbar
Kristin Dunbar: Wide variety of plants available including many species & cultivars not typically found in other garden centers.
Ericka Ward-Audena
Ericka Ward-Audena: This place has everything you need to start gardening or to take your gardening to the next level. I love to get ideas from simply taking everything in. 😌
John Weir
John Weir: As always, that place is tight and packed, however the selection and quality is second to none
Karen Smith

Little Leaf: what do users think?
Ben Segall
Ben Segall: Love this place. Got a rlly nice fern in a gorgeous handmade ceramic pot. The plant selection is awesome and they are rlly nice and helpful. Be aware: most of the ceramics and plants are sold separately. The ceramics are mostly handmade and therefore priced accordingly, so if you don’t want to spend extra on a planter pot I suggest you bring your own and have them repot it for you. Overall this place is a 10/10 recommend. Will definitely go back soon.
Response: So happy to hear you had a great experience, Ben! I remember potting that fern for you and being excited about the plant + pot combo you picked out. Hope to see you again in the shop soon! Best, Mollie
Melissa Pazornik
Melissa Pazornik: Eleanor was absolutely wonderful to work with! Her eye for arrangements and knowledge about each plant was phenomenal. The entire team made my experience so enjoyable and I am OBSESSED with the final product.
Response: Thanks so much Melissa! We are also thrilled with how the arrangements turned out- enjoy your new plant babies! -The Little Leaf Team
Ceci Moffit
Ceci Moffit: The store was very nice despite the strong artificial flower smell. The store was also very small and not covid safe at all. The male employee was very rude and did not answer my questions. He also look as if he had more important things to do. I have never had such a bad experience at a flower store before.
Response: Hi Ceci, We're so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We pride ourselves in our customer service and COVID safety, running at a limited capacity of 8 customers in the shop. We hope you give us another chance down the road, and we will be sure to share your feedback with our team. Best, Mollie
R. Sims
R. Sims: I have purchased several plants from Little Leaf over the years and recently decided to get a larger plant for my living area. I ordered a Birds of Paradise to be delivered, but did not hear from anyone on the delivery date (Saturday). I got a message on Sunday saying the plant was delivered. I reached out to the supposed delivery driver who I guess contacted Little Leaf and received a message that the confirmation was sent early, erroneously. Ok, no problem. The plant was delivered today and I must say I am disappointed in the quality - many of the leaves are split and the plant does not seem to have been well taken care of. I am surprised by this and unfortunately will be purchasing plants elsewhere.
Response: Hi there, we're so sorry to hear about the state of your plant upon arrival. If you could send us an email to hello@littleleafshop.com, we'd love to send you a replacement. Thank you, Mollie
Holden Rhodes
Holden Rhodes: Hands down the best indoor plant boutique in DC. There’s no other place like it. The selection is always excellent and the profits are high quality and extremely healthy, especially compared to other plant stores in the area. I’ve bought nearly all of my plants from here and there’s a noticeable difference in the longevity of the products purchased here versus chain stores. Staff is consistently helpful and welcoming and the aesthetic never fails!
Ms.
Ms.: Nice gem in D.C. great selection of plants, all shapes and sizes. Great staff. Some items are great to give as gifts. Books, cards, pots etc. Loved the pot hangers
Response: Thanks so much for the kind review, Ms. Green! Come back and see us again soon!
Lindsey Casella
Lindsey Casella: Always love stopping by this gem. The plants are reasonably priced and the decor/design of the store feels like Justin’s Blakeney Jungalow come to life !!!! Here are my newest additions from the store, that I snagged for total of ~$25. (Note: care cards are included, which is ideal for beginners!)
Response: Hi Lindsey! Thanks so much for the sweet words! We're so happy to hear you're a fan and hope to see you again soon in the shop. Many thanks, the LL team
Kristen Diaz
Kristen Diaz: Shop looks really aesthetically pleasing but that’s about it. Not a great variety of plants & everything is wildly overpriced (plants & pots). Even with that, I expected at least good customer service but received nothing from both employees working there. Not even a greeting or goodbye as I left (even though I still thanked them as I walked out), let alone assistance with anything else. There was also only 1 other person in the store who left before I finished shopping around so the shop wasn’t busy.
Response: Hi Kristen, We're so sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand how frustrated you must have been reflecting on your visit. We are always working to train our team to provide warm, attentive and welcoming service, and we will certainly use your experience to help us improve. We hope you give us another chance and have you back in sometime. Best, The Little Leaf Team
Ms. D
Ms. D: Extremely poor customer service and overpriced. Last Tuesday, (Dec 21) the brunette female was cold, unwelcoming and her attitude/personality was off-putting. Especially, her tone of voice when telling people there was an occupancy limit as soon as they barely stepped foot into the shop. With how tiny the shop is, it definitely needs a limit for the safety of staff/customers during Covid, but there’s a much more professional and friendly way to communicate to people, let alone customers. When entering the shop, it felt like you were just a nuisance to her. I will not be returning.
Response: Hi there, We're so sorry to hear about your experience. We are constantly striving to offer warm and genuine customer service, and are disappointed to hear you didn't receive that during your visit. We hope you give us another chance and that we get to see you in the shop again. Best, Mollie

American Plant: what do users think?
Stephanie Stubler
Stephanie Stubler: Like my favorite nurseries: a plant wonderland from the moment you walk in. I was on a mission for indoor plants so did not spend much time in the covered annual/perennial area, but it was very well stocked and taken care of from my quick outdoor tour. So many indoor plant varieties to choose from, a few I had never seen in this area. I will return for further investigation, for sure!
Linda Balon Stein
Linda Balon Stein: Bought Biotone here to amend the soil prior to installing new shrubs. Also picked up flower and veggie seeds. American Plant is amazing. It is a bit higher priced compared to other local nurseries or big box stores. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Ashley Robertson
Ashley Robertson: Nursery hopping in DC, MD, and VA is a favorite past time of mine and so far American Plant wins my award for most beautiful. American Plant had a large selection of healthy looking indoor and outdoor plants. They have everything from succulents, to trees, to climbing vines, and roses. I picked up some pollinator seeds from the garden center, a trellis, and a Thanksgiving Cactus. The prices were fair and the staff were knowledgeable and available. I particularly loved their yard sculpture collection. Those were pricy but the design and quality were some of the best that I’ve seen. I had to keep slapping my own hands to not walk away with all their hanging plants. Gorgeous!
Paul Hudson
Paul Hudson: This store is amazing, it has a wonderful assortment of plants and very knowledgeable staff. Overall, I had a excellent experience walking around and finding the plants I was looking for!!
Julie Chang
Julie Chang: Had a great experience! Amazingly helpful staff and beautiful selection. Ended up buying a bird of paradise and a beautiful pot. Numerous staff helped me find the best fit for my needs and even adjusted my car to help things fit.
Sara Corrigan
Sara Corrigan: Come every year for our Christmas tree. They have a really good selection, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Hits all the marks for us! We come for gardening season too are always pleased :)
Liz T
Liz T: Beautiful plants with tons of selection. Pretty reasonably priced for the location. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend engaging with them because they are also knowledgeable. We ha d a small bush not make it and they gave us no trouble at all to replace it.
David Feuer
David Feuer: Very helpful staff, large selection in general. I do wish they sold wild-type strawberries.

Merrifield Garden Center: what do users think?
Brian
Brian: We were shopping for a live cut Christmas tree and we could not find many trees in the area that were full and had a really nice shape. So we went to Merrifield Garden Center and found a very nice tree. That is the good news. The bad news is that it was about a $150 that is twice as much as The Home Depot across the street. A kind of felt like being gouged at Christmas. All of the prices of the items we saw seemed incredibly expensive. Capped off by a 11 foot Christmas tree that was $895!! Wow. Really? $895? If this review was helpful to you, please give it a thumbs up!
Response: Brian Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're glad to hear you found a nice Christmas tree. As for our prices, we feel we are very competitive with other local, independent garden centers, especially when you compare similar quality. We buy from premium growers where you know you're getting a quality tree with a beautiful shape. We appreciate your business and we hope to see you back again soon. Kevin
beyondTabu
beyondTabu: Pretty wide selection of plants. A little pricey in comparison to other garden supply stores, but staff are friendly, helpful & informative.
Response: beyondTabu Thank you for the kind review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed our vast selection of quality plants. As for our prices, we feel we are very competitive with other local, independent nurseries, especially when you compare similar quality. We appreciate your business and we hope to see you back again soon. Kevin
Sue MacLane
Sue MacLane: Great selection. Large nursery. Staff was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Dyan in the front and Andy in the back really helped out. Our purchase was very large and we need some very specific plants and rock palettes. Much more professional service than at their Gallows Rd location.

Johnson's Florist and Garden Centers: what do users think?
Jesse Cowan
Jesse Cowan: Terrific customer service today! I was greeted right away by a friendly staffer who showed me just the plant I was looking for and helped me pick one from 3 healthy specimens. Then another friendly staffer potted it for me, and when she understood it was to be a gift, wrapped it with pretty tissue paper. So grateful, and looking forward to coming back soon.
Dan S
Dan S: Nice people working there, hence my not giving 1 star. We’ve had multiple issues of purchasing products from them that are infested with various pests. We bought a palm plant from them, to then find out it was infested with spider mites (to this day we haven’t been able to get rid of them, and have isolated our palm plant). We also bought compost from them on a separate occasion, to then find out (the hard way) that it was infested with fungus gnats. Our veggies withered because these gnats ate all the roots. I don’t recommend purchasing any plant products from this store, as they seem to have pest problems.
Bailey Price
Bailey Price: Beautiful garden center that had everything I could have needed! Thanks so much to Eileen for working with me for about a half hour to pick all of the right plants and materials for what I was looking for! They turned out so nicely!
Andrea
Andrea: This place is a plant haven. I would recommend going here over any other shop. The products are high quality, staff is friendly and there is a large selection. I got two small house plants and the staff had such good recommendations for my situation.
J. D. Rosenzweig
J. D. Rosenzweig: Great local flower and plant store. Much better going here than a big box store. Excellent plants inside for gifts. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
M B
M B: Good selection of plants and supplies. However, the cashiers, particularly the younger cashiers, aren’t very friendly. I felt as though I were imposing on their precious time by having the audacity of being a customer. No smile or friendly “Hello” or “How may I help you” for a greeting. Instead, I received an irritated “Can I help you?” from not one but both cashiers. It wasn’t packed, so I really didn’t understand the seemingly irritated or exasperated attitude. If said cashiers don’t want to help anyone, there’s a solution—QUIT! And don’t hold a position where one has to interface with the public! Needless to say, I won’t be back. I’ll do my shopping via Amazon. At least that way, I’ll be able to save time, money, and not have to deal with abysmal customer service!
Chanpen Tee
Chanpen Tee: There are a lot of plants foe indoors and outdoors. Staff is friendly.

SamLia Camacho
SamLia Camacho: We had an issue early on getting them to come out and communicate. But David and Danny at Gallows made it up and sent out the best crew to take care of our entire yard. We are very happy with the workmanship and professionalism of the specific crew that did our yard. Kudos to Dan as well at Gainesville for stepping up. THANK YOU AGAIN!
Response: SamLia Thank you for the kind 5-star review! While I'm very sorry to hear that we initially didn't communicate as well as we should have, I'm glad to hear that Danny and David took care of everything, and that your landscape needs were taken care of. We appreciate your business and we hope to see you back again soon. Kevin

Sharon: Stopped by this place because I saw the word, "firewood." Reasonable prices. purchased birch logs and mixed oak. The fireplace is kicking! I am very pleased with my purchase & the great service I received! I will return!
Response: Sharon Sorry for the slow response, but thank you for the kind 5-star review! We're glad your firing was roaring and kept you warm and toasty. We appreciate you shopping with us and we hope to see you back again soon. Kevin
Raymond Mui
Raymond Mui: This review is based solely on the purchase of one christmas tree. The good: Excellent selection of trees and service. Trees were all gorgeous and fully unwrapped so you can get a full look at it. I came here on December 5th after trying multiple tree farms and Home Depot, all with questionable looking trees. The worst trees here at Merrifield looked much better than the best trees at the tree farms or Home Depot. Staff was very attentive and helpful. It was a hands off process, you pick the tree, they do everything. Well worth the slightly higher costs of trees here. The bad: I selected a gorgeous 8’ Douglas Fir, probably the most picture perfect tree I had ever purchased. After picking it, the attendant took the tree and told me he would trim the bottom branches and make a fresh cut while I went inside to pay. After I got the tree home, I immediately got the tree in water within 60 minutes. The tree drank some water within the first day and then stopped drinking water entirely. The tree had rapidly dried, and the branches all started to droop well before Christmas. I’ve been desperately trying to keep the tree hydrated and presentable just enough to make it to Christmas. Added preservatives, drilled desperation holes, lightened up ornament weight, pulled out the ribbon, etc. All of the trees I’ve had in years past drank plenty of water, had to fill every 3 days or so, and made it to Christmas and well past New Years perfectly fine. This is the first tree I’ve had that has given up on life almost immediately and will barely make it to Christmas. Not sure if maybe the cut wasn’t made or not well enough. Or maybe the tree wasn’t fresh? (I don’t know that much about trees). Also notable that this tree seems to be absent of sap. Again, would be worth the cost and would be a 5 star rating if the tree hadn’t died prematurely. Maybe I just got a lemon tree.
Response: Raymond Thank you for the review! We appreciate the kind words about our quality, selection and service, but we're very sorry to hear that your tree stopped drinking water. This is rare, but it can happen from time to time. Please contact me at Kevin@mgcmail.com and provide me your contact information. Thank you! Kevin
Brian Copes
Brian Copes: It was my first time visiting this place, but I have worked with center in the past for my condo building. Both have been great experiences!Plenty of staff to help customers with random gardening questions and a lot of cashiers available to get you in and out quickly. Seems like a wide variety of flowers, shrubs, trees, soil pots, and gardening tools. It was cold spring day when I stopped by so most of the flowers were in the green houses to protect them from frost. I was able to find the quality potting soil which is what I was looking for in my trip today. I’ll be back for sure to get some flowers when it’s a bit warmer outside. Parking- plenty of spots to park. Definitely recommend checking them out for your gardening needs!
Response: Brian Thank you for the kind 5-star review! We're so glad you came to see us for the first time and that you enjoyed your shopping experience. We appreciate your business and we hope to see you back again soon. Kevin

Christine McMenamin
Christine McMenamin: While the plants were pretty most were rootbowd and infested with bugs. The annuals were fine. However I purchased "resin " pots for $25 each, only to find beautiful ceramic pots twice the size. Lesson well learned! Unfortunately the return policy is that plants even with bugs can not be returned.

Scott Johns: Great selection, great service

dize mal: I love this place. Have been coming for years. The plants are always healthy. They have unique decorative items, also.
Peg Urban
Peg Urban: I have shopped there 3 times in the last month or so. Always have to limit my purchases ( oh it is so hard to do!). Best potting soil and garden soil along with the flowers and plants.
B S
B S: Their plants are infested with mites which killed my bushes and all they did was try to sell me more. Entire job done by poor immigrant laborers , I felt so bad for them. Bloomers really needs to be reported and shut down. smh
Response: I'm sorry you must be thinking of someone else?? We do not have an immigrant work force only my son and one Nursery Crew member. Bloomers warrantee covers all woody plant purchases. If a plant should die a credit of amount is put toward a replacement. Bloomers provides plants in excellent thriving health at the time of purchase, it is the customers responsibility to make them thrive. Could the mites have come from your yard? Was what we were trying to "sell" you was an insecticide to cure the problem?

Johnson's Florist and Garden Centers: what do users think?
Blair Wright
Blair Wright: Really good garden center, most of the garden centers in this area have closed and this is one of the better ones that had remained open
Lawrence Roffee
Lawrence Roffee: Helpful staff. Well stocked. Very pleasant experience
Sarah McCaines
Sarah McCaines: Terrible place to shop. I used to come here often until recently where they just have new staffing constantly and none of the staff Is actually knowledgeable anymore. I was told to “read a book” and purchase it at a local library because they couldn’t help me. On multiple occasions I was not even greeted at the door of entry and some of the staff have been reluctant to even talk to us. I’m very disappointed, it used to be a lovely place. They do not even have a lot of product and when asked about it I was just given a shrug. In the decor region of the store, I have noticed items that have been around for awhile. I had been coming for years, but I am just shocked by the low quality of upkeep especially since some items are covered in cobwebs or dust or genuinely chipped or broken. Again, when I brought it to the staffs attention, they merely offered me a 10% discount. A lot of items did not have prices on them so when I went up to the counter to ask for a price, it took them nearly 15 minutes and at this point I had given up. I was told the item had been there for a while but if it had been there for awhile it should have had a price. I have had more problems than anything else the last few times that I have been and I will have to say I will no longer be shopping at johnsons. It is more of a hassle lately and a disappointment.
jan suit
jan suit: This nursery has a wonderful gift shop! They have a lot of Christmas decor marked down for anyone who wants it! Last fall I was pleased to be able to purchase some beautiful chrysanthemum plants

Rabbi Zalman Sandhaus
Rabbi Zalman Sandhaus: A most wonderful place, they have beautiful and quality stuff, Everything you can want from a nursery, trees, flowers, plants, herbs. I stopped in while driving by and I was very impressed. To top it off the people there are friendly, nice and knowledgeable.
Response: Thank you it was very nice meeting you! Hope to see you again soon! We appreciate your comments and your business!
Jenn Black
Jenn Black: Horrible customer service!!! We used Redmonds many times in the past for mulch delivery and to get flats and hanging baskets. This year when our soil was delivered, the driver backed into our shed, causing damage and moving it from the impact of a dump truck hitting it. When I called to speak to the owner, the owner’s sister gave my phone number to the driver to have him handle it. This is not how it works, particularly if insurance claims or reimbursement is necessary. Someone authorized to handle these things should have called me. It took the owner 3 weeks to call. As of today, they have only come out to move the shed back to its existing location. The roof, trim and siding are still not repaired. When I commented about this on Facebook they lied and said my husband said no other repairs are necessary as we are replacing the shed. This is untrue!!! We were advised they were looking for matching siding and have been waiting almost 3 months. Redmonds has since deleted my comments and blocked me from their Facebook page. They may have nice plants, but if anything goes wrong, they WILL NOT own up to it and make you whole. Beware.
Hilary Baxter
Hilary Baxter: This is definitely a go to for wonderful planes and flowers. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. It’s clean and very well kept
Response: Thank you so much Hilary! We appreciate you king words and your business!

Wine tasting, pictures with Santa, tractor rides, petting zoo, cute home decor, crafts and games for kids, face painting, virtual sleigh ride, the grinch & Cindy Lou who, smores bar & BBQ. Staff was friendly. So glad we came. Will definitely be coming back each holiday!
Response: Thank you so much! It has become a family tradition for so many of our customers! We are glad you had a great time and look forward to seeing you again!

Jimmy Rayfield
Jimmy Rayfield: Love their plants and mulch…..best mulch East of the Mississippi!
Response: Thank you! We appreciate your business!
M P
M P: This is a beautiful place to go and get pictures in front of some of the displays. The staff has always been happy. I was not to excited over the selection of bedding plants or choice of veggie plants.
Response: Sorry to hear you were not satisfied, we had a much larger variety but have sold out. Prices on soil, fertilizer and the plastic for the flats have all increased. We try to keep our prices as reasonable as possible.
Samantha Michaele
Samantha Michaele: Wonderful selection of items and trees. Fantastic service!

Natty Garden: what do users think?
E O
E O: Apologies for the blurry photos. I really enjoyed speaking with the staff. He helped me understand the best setting for the plants I was considering. You could tell he was busy but at the same time cares about the craft, and ensuring customers leave informed.
Mr. Shillington
Mr. Shillington: Stop in with a friend to check them out. I about to go back to pickup for my herbs garden. Great location but it’s difficult for parking.
Michael Center
Michael Center: Good selection of plants, unfortunately everything is overpriced and the staff is horribly rude and unhelpful. I have visited this place several times and would let past rudeness slide marking it up to maybe that person was having a stressful day, however, during my most recent visit an employee went out of their way to shame my wife and I for wearing a mask while inside the building. This place is so convenient for this neighborhood, but that convenience is outweighed by their hostility.
Response: "I said i thought covid was over" is that Hostility to you and your wife. You know what is hostility? your comment, your aggression towards black people and their contribution to the neighborhood. thank you for the 1 star for my 14 years of hard work. welcome to the neighborhood. It will soon be all yours.
ifaa amit
ifaa amit: Selection is nice, but some sections won’t show prices (which mostly are quite expensive). Home Depot gave much better prices 🤷‍♀️
Ashley Tjhoi
Ashley Tjhoi: Lots of options for common plants. Came in for potting mix and orchid bark. Surprised to see all the pests preventions and will definitely come back for emergency infestations.
Josh Mojica
Josh Mojica: Jay is amazing! We got there a few minutes before close and helped us decide on the perfect plant for our space. They’re always friendly and helpful at Natty. :)
