Theresa Green: The vibe at this specific location is always gross. The staff act like they’re afraid to say hello and never offer to help. Instead they huddle and whisper among themselves and stare, kind of on some mean girls energy. I also take issue with the fact that a particular staff member refuses to match online prices. I’ve been able to match online prices at every other Gap I’ve been to, including this location once before with a different associate. Why would you choose to completely lose a sale over just matching a discounted price? I’ve seen this sales associate a few times before and she’s always the same — phony and unwelcoming. Could be profiling as the area isn’t very diverse and it wouldn’t be the first time. Either way I’m done with it.

Lora Mitchell: First time shopper at thia location and it was a pleasant experience. The sale associate was knowledgable of all promotions and really helpful with providing all customers before me with savings! I purchased a skirt for my daughter that was originally $30 she let me know that it was fuerhwr reduced and I really appreciated that!

Stephen Willard: Received a Gap gift, which I took for an in store purchase. An employee proceeded to scratch the pin number off the card to the point that two digits were illegible, and then promptly lock my card's ability to purchase items by entering the wrong and illegible pin info multiple times. Had to wait in store for 45 minutes, and even longer to sort out the mess on the phone with Gap Services.

Davron Nigmatov: This Gap store is for your family. They have good deals for kids' and for women's clothes. I thought I'll fill my closet with Gap's clothes but unfortunately could not find many interesting things for a good price.

Al PHIL: They have good sales but some staffs are not welcoming and not approachable. I saw one staff smiled and greeted my mom then after that she did make face when my mom is busy looking for pants. I felt bad going out of the store. No human beings deserve to be treated like that. Customer service should be a fair treatment to all.

Austin Graff: This location of Gap is just two blocks from the Friendship Heights Metro and is pretty big. It's one level but has an array of men's and women's clothes and a kids section. Staff are abundant and ready to help!

Austin Allen: My girlfriend and I were on a mission to find her a belt or two. No other stores in the area, regardless of their prices, had any good belts. We finally just went to the gap as our last hope and found some awesome belts!

Jeremy Hawks: Gap, Gap Kids, and Banana Republic all located next to each other. Parking is easy a validated underground. Good seasonal selections. 50% off everything when we went last.

Rochelle Cobb: First time at this store. The staff were pleasant and greeted me upon entry. Every one was helpful. Able to find items easily. Made a return and obtained a refund from an online purchase; extremely fast and successful. Great sales throughout the store and items in the required size were a bonus. In addition, I was able to complete a new online purchase to procure the items returned in a larger size at a cheaper price 🙃.

Amy Stein: The staff is very friendly. The store however is complete and utter chaos. They have women’s, men’s and children’s section but limited in all areas. If you want a tee shirt or sweatshirt with the GAP logo on it this would be the place to go but if not you would be better off at the sale rack at a regular GAP store.

Also sign up for coupons because whatever the sale is you can get an additional 25%. Check out there clearance section as well. I like this one better than the one in Old Town. Friendly staff and more of a variety in clothes for teens.

Laquayshia Moore: My family shopped at this Gap earlier this week and we will not be shopping at this Gap again. The store manager is very aggressive and spoke to me in a manner that was unacceptable. It’s not my first run in with her but it will be my last. I just googled other gap locations in the area to visit in the future. I’m willing to give Gap another chance but someone needs to speak to this woman about how she interacts with people. Unless you would like to lose even more customers.

America Romero: This store is so clean and organized. The staff here seem to always be so friendly and helpful. I had this very sweet lady with long black hair help me, she went out of her way to help me find the right pair of jeans. She didn’t mind that I tried on 10 pair of different sizes and types. When I asked her if I could speak to her manager to tell them about the amazing experience I had she kindly said she was the General Manager. Praise to whoever hired her because she is a doll. I will make sure I tell everyone to go see her if they want a great pair of jeans.

Kanan Shah: I shop at this GAP often, have been shopping here for over 10 years. Today was the first time I had such a terrible experience. Lupe at the cash register was one of the rudest and most aggressive people I’ve ever met. She has absolutely no manners in talking with customers when handing returns. I felt really disrespected by her attitude and tone, and even pulled her aside and explained that this is not the way. What I got instead of an apology was more attitude and her leaning into me and raising her voice. I asked Lupe for the managers number, and it turns out, she is the manager. When I asked her for her manager’s number, she started yelling in front of all her employees and customers, saying she would not give “as she doesn’t need to”. I emphasized that I was having a conversation camly with her in the first place, so why did she have to raise her voice and give an attitude to start with?Again instead of apologizing, she threatened me to leave the store!! In my 20years of shopping at various GAPs throughout the country, I’ve never had this kind of experience.It’s a sad state of affairs when stores like GAP have managers with such unprofessional, condescending and aggressive attitudes. Do they not coach or except from their employees, some foundational customer service skills? This was far from it and given repeated similar experiences of other customers would surely hurt their image and business. After 10 years of shopping at this location for my family, I don’t think I will return here. I plan on filing a complaint to the BBB and taking additional next steps as this kind of mistreatment is unacceptable.

Catriona B: Stay away from this Gap Store! I had two very bad experiences with the staff here, first, they forgot to remove the sensor from my item and they were so cold to me when I went back and pointed out their mistake. The Male cashier that was working on Thursday morning even refused to serve me and then they made comments about me in Spanish! Go to another Gap Store or shop online. Customer beware!

Sam G: Gap kids is always an adventure to navigate through. The store is messy, in disarray. There is typically one staff member that greets you and then disappears. My biggest complaint is that they NEVER open their registers...you are conditioned to walk over to the main Gap store to wait in their lines in order to make your purchase. Not sure why they even have a register in there as it is NEVER in use. Selection and inventory is minimal.

Wayne Skinkle: I came into the store last week and I had the worst experience I came into the store and I wasn’t even talked to at all.. There was a couple employees standing around talking and not helping any customers. I was looking at jeans and I couldn’t find my size and I tried asking for help and no one wanted to help it was like I was bothering them. I will not return to that store I have no problem going to another Gap if I really needed to but with that experience I never want to return to any Gap..

Ali A: Due to the location inside of Tysons mall, most of the evenings and weekends, this store is almost crowded. But, they have a good store manager team. Overall, it is clean and the products are organized well.( Of course, not at mad times such as black Friday.) Two level store, lower level is basically kids part. Their clerks and staffs are not bad, though a couple of times I didn't like their behavior, they did not act helpfully. Well, but I understand, they might be tired.

T Dub: Discrimination against tall people. I needed to purchase some jeans for the same day and was told they don't carry tall jeans unless they were returned. Such a major inconvenience when you need something the same day and you're in between sizes because you just had a baby and you don't know what size you wear. Free shipping takes 5-7 days and 1 day is $22. Why sell them if I can't shop like a regular customer?

Ashok Aleti: Whenever we visit Tysons Mall, we usually go to Gap Store, as the store has varieties of clothes from kids to adults. Moreover you find good deals most of the time :).

Tha Jesus: Crappy service, the cashiers are the only good working employees there. I was there several times and literally you’re waiting forever just to try on clothes since employees seem to never be close by a customer on the floor. Elevator also has been broken for over 2 weeks with no signs fixture. It’s sad knowing this store just recently opened.

Almost every time I step into this location the closing times are different. I tried to walk into this location just now and was denied because it was “closed”. To my surprise, the security guard expressed how that site “closes early on Thursdays.”It was 8pm and your online site states 9pm. This is not only false consumer marketing, but it is also annoying for those who frequent this place. Get your business hours together and stick to them!

Emily Keller: I came here on a Friday evening around 6pm. This is located in the building of the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. This location has 2 floors. Women’s clothing is on the 1st floor. Men’s and Kid’s are on the 2nd floor. The store was moderately busy. They have lots of basics for decent prices. Most items in the store have a sign saying “Take an extra 40% Lowest Ticketed Price”. Some signs say 50% off. So the price you find on the tags, are not usually the final price. They have a decent women’s clearance section in the back on the first floor. All clearance has a sign “Take an extra 30% off lowest ticketed price.” Gap sweatshirts with big GAP logo are on clearance for $24.99. Most of the price tags on the clothing is made from recycled paper, as the tags clearly state. As this is an outlet, or factory store, you won’t find trendy new season items like you’d find in a regular Gap store. This location is mostly very plain basics. Many items have a garment tag that says “Gap For Good.” It looks like these tags are to bring awareness to Gap’s sustainability program. This includes their water quality program, which ensures the water used to make their denim doesn’t pollute local waterways, and before the water leaves the factory, they treat it to remove manufacturing residue. Plus, their WashWell process uses 20% less water (compared to what they were previously using, I assume). The “Gap For Good” program also includes their P.A.C.E. program. Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement program. This program teaches women life skills, and how to secure a future for themselves and their families.

charmaine thomas: This has not been my Gap experience from the past. Not as many staff but if you can find one he or she tries to be helpful. You can get some decent deal in the clearance department however it is very disheveled there. In addition some of the item in clearance aren't Mark reduce price and the cashier pick and choose what is on sale. I did not like my checkout experience. I got a really great jacket on the clearance and she tries to tell me it is not on clearance at all. However I found the same jacket online for almost $80 cheaper than she was trying to sell me for. On the flip side I love the new store layout. It is very inviting and easy to peruse through. I love how easy it is to find your size regular among price items. It's almost as if they put out a small sample of items so it just doesn't seem so overwhelming looking for your size. It's either they have it or they don't. And the guy at the front that deals with curbside pick-up can help you to locate online if necessary. And they even have a locker where you can lock your device and have a charge while you're shopping. At least I think that's what happens in that little corner contraption

Natacha Pamphile: This location on 3rd Ave is so neat. It's not my go to location because of distance but it is a great shopping experience. The store is clean, product is neatly displayed and organized and there was customer service provided throughout my visit. An associate went to check if my item was available in the stock room and when it wasn't she teamed with another associate to help me to order the items and have it shipped to my home with free delivery. A+

Debbi Rothenberg: My niece was visiting and couldn't believe how convenient Gap was in terms of walking across the street rather than getting in her car to drive to the mall. Another huge benefit of living on the Upper East Side.

In our last visit I had just gotten a haircut and the weather had turned cold and nasty. One clerk helped me to find a perfect stocking cap on sale for just $6.00! My wife found some mens long sleeve tee shirts which are more like sweaters. Marked down from $49 to $20, we finally were able to decide on one. I wore it last weekend. It's more like a light sweater and so soft! Next weekend we may go and get one in another color and pattern. I believe that we all know Gap quality. Their garments last for decades and never go out of style. I never really shopped at the Gap before I got married. My wife has a knack of coming out of there with mark-downs, like Gap jeans for under $10.00. Unbelievable to me! But she does it year-after-year. It's fun because she buys a lot of kids clothes for the children of her nephews and nieces: world-class tees for $5.00 or less!

Love N Gratitude: Pros: I was greeted by a worker as soon as I came in. There is a huge selection of clothing and accessories, including masks. At cash wrap, a family could buy a set of four masks for a flat price, $36. Cons: The atmosphere/vibe felt off, so I left immediately.

Melissia Baker: Whoever has designed this years clothing deserves an "F" Clothing is BORING AND BASIC. Many items look like third world prison garb. Just basic sweats and jeans. No sense of Americana-style that Gap is known for representing. This was a big fail for this clothing, especially since it's kinda expensive.

How about folding the tights and putting them on the table or in drawers according to their size, that way it’s more convenient to read the size on the drawer and grab what you need. The sales associates were, one more helpful than the first one, who had no clue as to where the Gap fit attire was even located!

Candace David: Had a great shopping experience here. I like that its joined to Gap kids. Quite a lot of clearance scattered throughout the store. Found some fabulous deals on 2 pairs of jeans for 80% off! Staff were helpful and friendly when needed. Large changerooms big enough to bring a stroller and kids in with you.

Big Picture: Great customer experience at The Gap at Redmond Town Center. The Gap is a great go to place for very affordable leisurewear. Staff was welcoming and Jessica our sales person gave superior customer service to make sure we found what we were looking for. Right now Gap has some great discounts going on. They didn’t have the size I needed in a blue crewneck T-shirt and Jessica ordered it to be shipped to my home with free delivery!

Abbie Girl: An oldie but goodie. The floors are clean to lie on. The dressing rooms are a little small for one human and a dog, but if you're trained, you know what to do. Service here is great, and the manager was able to find dad a new jeans, give him a discount and even ship an out of stock item to our house in another state. I can't wait to chew on these new jeans, too!

L A: I have been loyal to the Gap brand for 20 years but this store may have changed that. I attempted to return maternity clothes I’d purchased online at this location and was told by the manager Eric that they wouldn’t allow me to return them because it isn’t profitable for them. I showed him my online receipt with instructions to return in store and he continued to state he wouldn’t take the product back. It wasn’t until I advised him it was likely discrimination to not honor the corporate return policy due to the clothing being maternity that he accepted the return with a great deal of attitude. It’s shocking that the Gap of all places allows discriminatory practices but I guess their bottom line is more important.

Shelby Luzzi: The selection is good at this location. The size range goes up to a 33 in store which is great for me. When you’re able to apply a coupon, shopping here is even better!

Recently, it seems the inventory has become bland and boring carrying only basic items such as, hoodies, Henley shirts in basic colors (black, grey, navy), turtle necks, also in basic colors, sweat suits in velour and classic fabric. They still have jeans but even the selection of these has become basic. Of course, the prices are anything but basic. Too expensive!!

I picked up an oversized tie dye sweatshirt with short sleeves that is perfect for outdoor exercise. I have been living in it ever since!

I placed an online order for three shirts(all are gifts on my travel) on November 22, 2017 03:15 AM (EST). And it was guaranteed to be delivered on the November 30, 2017 and paid $7.71 for shipping and handling. knowing that I will get it before my two month trip outside of USA on the Dec 8, 2017, I was satisfied placing my order. Here is where things become ugly , when I did not receive the items on that date I checked in to see the order status and was changed to be delivered on December 05 ,2017 (Still okay with this:)). I started following on the status knowing that they might change it again and when I checked again on the 4th of December 2017, they again updated the delivery date to the 09th of December and now I called to customer service knowing that they might do something about it. The person(male forgot his name?) I talked to was nice and willing to help me with that. First he said sorry for that and took off the shipping and handling fee and guaranteed it will be delivered on the 06th of December. I followed up and saw the status is still on the 09th of December and I thought he might forgot to update me. I called again on the 05th of December to talk to another agent (her name may be Amanda? sorry for that) She said that I need to call to the carrier(Which I thought is none of my business) to hold the item in their facility until I return back( what?) I told her I need the item as a gift to the persons I'm traveling to. She keep on holding me a lot of times as if she's figuring out something (Which I don’t think much is going on while I was in hold...probably I was in hold for 20minutes) anyways, She comes back and told me she is taking off 30% of the price I was charged, Still told her I don’t need the price adjustments and needed to talk to the supervisor. She told me that the supervisor will do nothing at all and I told her I will at least try my chances to pass my concerns. After the usual long hold, I 'm able to talk to the supervisor(which do nothing as the agent suggested, at least the agent got this right:)) to my surprise to inform me that the order is cancelled and the amount will be credited (What?) Did I tell you to cancel my order? the Supervisor is horrible and I don’t think she should be there. I told her why they are losing customers to Amazon and other big players and told her I will never be GAP's /Banana Republic's customer anymore(thank you for taking my money for more than a decade) and will write my experience on the review to their site and any social networking sites I use. I had the same order with EXPRESS and they managed the way I wanted and never be dissatisfied with their customer services. I WILL BE SURPRISED IF GAP SURVIVED THE DYNAMICS OF THIS millennial's shopping habits.

(may be they are right, I shouldn't wear it, but use as floor rag, as quality suggest) My third time shopping in gap and second time they screw me on bad quality items. Never, never again I bring any business to GAP again.
