Poetry: My experience here was amazing. My daughter was able to find her beautiful prom dress here at Signature. It was many selections and styles to choose from and Ms. Bobbie and the owner (can't remember her name) was very helpful and professional. Will definitely be coming back and referring people to this store.

Leah: I have purchased my prom dress from this boutique and have had such a great experience! The staff was so welcoming and supportive, and the boutique itself had so much energy. Although it is a small store, there were so many unique dresses to choose from and the boutique provides alteration services for their dresses, which was convenient. I highly recommend this boutique for those of you who are looking for a prom dress shopping experience!

CR CR: We needed a dress shop ASAP after finding out her dress wasn't ordered. I googled and Signature popped up first and happened to be the same store she saw online. She had wonderful experience being 18 and alone. Staff was friendly (I was on the phone) and although she got a different dress, it was was gorgeous. Everyone is so helpful and makes sure u have the right dress. It can be stressful at times but they make sure everything goes smoothly. She accommodates everyone’s needs, even I go I go with my sisters as well. Even when the store is so busy during prom and pageant season she helps everyone!! THE BEST PLACE EVER!!

Gina Shawl: Dresses are gorgeous but alterations not so good. My daughters dress first came back as a high low which it was not suppose to be and the way it was altered in waist line made it too tight in the hips. Second alteration in fixing the high low now dress was too long. They should really have a tailor in store to mark measurements. Also the communication wasn’t good never was told when the dress came in both times. 2 days before prom and we decided we just had to live with it!

Juanita Beltran: The store was actually very beautiful and very well put together however the store only caters to one type of woman my daughter being plus size went to the store in hopes of finding a pageant dress. It was only one dress that she was given to Try on and the sales people were very standoffish and the vibe that you got was that she was treated differently I was sitting outside and watching how they interacted with the more skinnier persons who came into the store as a opposed to my daughter she was completely ignored we even asked if they were other dresses if she could try and And we were told I’m not sure and the sizes they were suggested we’re not even for her, the sales people and the owner push the dress so hard and wasn’t taking her feelings into consideration. No don’t give me wrong these girls and this lady can sell the pants off somebody but this mama bear was not impressed or buying it, it was all fake no real substance or truth to their salesmanship and did not appreciate how my daughter was treated as opposed to the other people in the store because she’s plus size. Truthfully was so ready to drop good money for a dress so happy I didn’t- I am all about Stellar customer service and will pay for that stellar customer service but unfortunately I did not find it at the store

We tried to explain to you best that our very petite sizes and our plus sizes are always the first to sell out in stores because it’s not often people find stores that sells ready-to-buy xxs, xs, 00, 0 or sizes 18-26. We tried our best to explain to you that even though we currently didn’t have it in store because it’s prime prom/pageant season, we could absolutely look into ordering the perfect dress for your daughter’s pageant. Shannon Giddens: After getting blindsided by a custom dress designer yesterday three weeks before my daughter’s prom and encountering a rude boutique owner (In Annapolis) this afternoon. We reached out to Signature and Bobbi answered the phone and just the greeting on phone made us feel like the day will get better. Our experience with Bobbi was amazing from the initial phone call to completing our transaction. She picked out a dress that appeared to have been made for my daughter and picked the perfect accessories to go with the dress . After all we encountered in the last 24 hours, we were able to find the perfect dress and our prayers were answered. Thank you Signature, especially Bobbi for turning this frantic prom dress search to a beautiful experience. My daughter is still smiling and can’t wait to pick up her dress. PS. I also saved a couple of dollars. WONT HE DO IT!!!

Maggie Bowman-jones: We had an appointment scheduled for one of my bridesmaids on Friday- her flight was changed and we had to cancel and try moving to Saturday. Tiana was amazing and noted the new flight time and got us in for Saturday. God knows it’s hard to work in retail right now, but I’ve found the staff at all BHLDN Locations I’ve visited to be so kind and helpful- they truly do try their best to accommodate when they can. The studio upstairs in Georgetown is also so quiet and super private compared to other BHLDN locations which was also a plus.

Samantha K: I’d love to give 5 stars! The staff were a dream to work with. They clipped and zipped me whenever I needed help. Reps emailed me a list of seamstress in the area, which was helpful too. The offer limited sizes to try on and like what another reviewer said the dresses are in poor condition but they were good enough to get an idea. I liked the dressing room size and setup. The reason why I am giving four stars is because of their lighting in the entire dressing room. The only lights that were helpful were in the fitting room but not where you walk out to show your friends what the dresses look like on you. That lighting was not great on me. My dress was shipped to the wrong address. I called and the rep said she fixed my address. Hopefully, the dress arrives. Mistakes happen. Parked in a lot for $12/day but there is a garage in the building that BHLDN is in.

Courtney W: I came to BHLDN as a bridesmaid to try on dresses. Our consultant (do not know her name) was not good. She was not very friendly or helpful. We felt like we had to ask her to do things that she should’ve already been doing. She made a comment towards me that made me feel horrible about my size. She rushed the bride at the end of the appointment in a rude manner. The bride had come here before and had an opposite experience with another consultant, so i know they’re not all like this.

Yasemina Julia Paraskeva: Recently scheduled an appointment to try on bridal gowns at Bhldn’s Gtown location. They had a broad variety of gowns and an ample fitting room. I received excellent service from Sloane - she was very thorough in explaining the ordering process and in helping me determine my size. She was very attentive. I highly recommend her when making bridal gown try-on appointments at Bhldn Georgetown!

Joy Lyle: Stopped in the store last minute to look at the wedding dresses. The consultant Ellie was so kind and accommodating. Wonderful experience! 😊

Emily Dohogne: The sample dresses to try on are in rough shape - there was pilling, stains, and pulls on much of the dresses’ fabrics. They need to be replaced. It’s difficult to get a visual image of the gowns because of the state of their conditions. Overall, it was a good appointment. Our stylist was nice and helpful and honest, but again, the state of the dresses really brings down the experience and expectations of these thousand dollar dresses.

Hayley Hoaglund: I was very excited to try on BHLDN's dresses! They are beautiful and just my style but unfortunately the service was awful and I left feeling flustered and frustrated. Our stylist, Gabriella, was extremely pushy and only let me try on 4 dresses. I pointed out others I liked but she would not let me try them, and proceeded to count down the minutes until the appointment time was over. My family flew in from the midwest to accompany me, and she would not wait for my own mom to see the dress on me before she had me change, stating "only 15 minutes left, there is no time" and pushing my mom out of the dressing room. I left in tears about how she made us feel, the confrontations that we had, and that my family had flown across the country for an experience like that. I am extremely disappointed. BHLDN needs to work on making the brides feel beautiful and valued before they will ever get my business!

Ryan Beigel: Even though I didn't find my dress here, my stylist Savannah was awesome. Loved how laid back and patient she was and she pulled some great dresses with different silhouettes. I think that this store is best for brides looking for a boho look at an affordable price. Definitely recommend making an appointment for sure.

Emily Hewitt: I absolutely loved my wedding dress shopping experience thanks to BHLDN Georgetown! I was absolutely in love with the Cecily Gown (which at the time was on final sale) and I desperately wanted to be able to try it on and see it in person instead of taking a risk & ordering it online (final sale dresses are not returnable). I was able to make an appointment for a fitting 24 hours before going in. I went to BHLDN with my mom on my lunch break (thank goodness I worked in DC and was so close by!) and Calla, our sales associate, was so sweet! Of course I tried on the Cecily Gown first (AND FELL IN LOVE!!), but I also tried on other dresses as well. Calla quickly figured out my style and brought me more dresses I hadn't noticed before to try on too. I knew the Cecily Gown was "the one" and after purchasing, my mom and I were allowed to relax in the store for a bit longer and enjoy some complimentary champagne. I don't know what BHLDN is like on a weekend, but I can say that shopping on a weekday was amazing. It was like a personal, private shopping experience (I should add this was pre-COVID pandemic). Additionally, months later, when I decided it was time to purchase a veil, I e-mailed BHLDN Georgetown and asked if they had a veil in stock that I tried on at my fitting. Unfortunately that veil was no longer available but Lauren recommended the Scalloped Fingertip Veil which was very similar. She even gave me a free shipping code for it! I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day in the Cecily Gown and Scalloped Fingertip Veil and I can't thank BHLDN Georgetown enough for their help! I love BHLDN wedding dresses and they are so much more affordable compared to other bridal salons. I highly recommend and wish I could have another wedding simply to wear another BHLDN gown! :)

Stephanie Song: I've been to 3 BHLDN locations (NYC, Devon, and Georgetown) and this is the best one by far. My stylist, Cora, was so helpful and accommodating. She didn't pressure me at all, or make me feel rushed, even though I was half an hour late due to traffic. She took time to listen to what I wanted and gave me non-pushy suggestions for dresses that would fit my body/venue well.

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

Paige Raborn: Spread my ashes at this Anthro! (Only half joking.) Somehow an extremely well organized store despite its massive size, Georgetown Anthropologie has the best items and even better associates! The wonderful and hilarious Camila helped me make a few style decisions, and she is incredibly intuitive about personal taste and sizing. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit DC.

Lion King: My all time favorite shopping place in the U. S.! Quiet and full of beautiful stuffs! D.C branch is one of the best one, the people work there are nice and beautiful, will help you find the things you want especially the one in the shoes area, we didn’t try shoes but she gave us some advices on coat!

Hannah Degn: The best anthro building in the the DC metro area! It’s 3 stories, always has an amazing sales section, and has a great home section too! It’s such a cute store and has such a large selection! Definitely worth browsing and trying things on that you see online!

Hecky Allman: Had the absolutely best experience in BHLDN last Monday. Found a wonderful wedding dress and experienced first class service from start to finish. Continued shopping at Anthropology and again was so impressed by the staff. Manager Eleanor was terrific. Austin Graff: If you've been inside an Anthropologie before, this one is the same, but bigger. There are three floors to this one on M Street in D.C.'s Georgetown. Clothes and candles can be found on all three floors, but the home section is on the bottom floor with living rooms and dining rooms set up convincing you to buy a pillow. There's also a small kids section on the bottom floor too. One fun fact about Anthropologie is that the founders give a lot of their money away to causes like fighting modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

Anna Sumner: My friend found this place in the DCist's Top Thift Stores article. Unfortunately the article was from 2016 so many of the places listed were no more. Fia's was one one of the few exceptions. We pulled up around 3 in the afternoon unaware that the store had switched over to appointment only for in-person shopping. The lady working at the time kindly let us in since there was an hour until the next appointment. Their inventory was fantastic, if a little disorganized. The layout has been converted more to a warehouse than a sales floor. The store is also transitioning into online sales. As things turned out the kind lady who let us in to shop was the owner herself. She explained the appointment-only policy and told us we could text the store number to make future appointments. It felt good to have been able to support a local, black woman-owned shop, especially after going through the list of stores that weren't able to stay open. On the inventory: I found a lot of good pieces in my size which made me very happy. I'm on the curvier side and I'd definitely recommend this place for plus sized fashionistas. I saw very few items for men and children so you might not want to do family shopping here.

Edward Parsons: My wife and I had a chance to visit FFF and was surprised to find that the store has a $35 full a bag sale next week. The clothes are in good condition and reasonably priced.

Julia Near and Far: Fia's Fabulous Finds had a great selection of cute dresses and footwear. In the basement was $25 for everything you could fit into a bag.

Alex Chapman: I had a lovely visit at Fia's Fabulous Finds today. You have to book a private appointment now to shop and Fia was there herself to describe each room of the store for me. It's a warehouse setup, so you get to move and dive into the racks yourself to find amazing deals. Lots of Kate Spade purses and clothes, with some other brands mixed in. A wide range of sizes too, which is great! 3.3.21: Fia is no longer allowing in-store shopping outside of a once per month opportunity. Check the Facebook page for future updates.

Cassia Morris: My boyfriend and I stopped in Fia’s 2.5 years ago or so to find some items for a costume. I can’t remember the owners name, but she was THE sweetest, nicest, and most helpful!!! We talked about where her son was going to school. We live in Alaska and I still think about our visit here. I hope the owner is well and the shop is doing good!!! Much love.

Eugene Simms: Fia's Fabulous Finds is a phenomenal experience waiting to be discovered! I walked in on a Sunday, and was warmly greeted by associate, Sharon. She told me, to my amazement that Fia's offers sizes 0-3x, a rarity for a consignment shop. They have such great quality clothing, shoes, bags and accessories and at affordable prices. I purchased a silk Escada skirt for $25!! Also, check out their Bargain Basement for some unbelievable deals. A beautiful experience from start to finish.

Clark Flynt-Barr: This place is packed! Lots of good finds - always fun to shop here.

Madeline Desser: This place is such a gem with a great selection of higher end brands. The space is fairly small, but it manages to feel full without feeling overly crowded or messy. There is a separate rack dedicated to plus size clothing which is amazing and rare to find in high end consignment shops. Fia has a great eye for stylish pieces and is super friendly too so don't be shy and check the place out if you want to find some great deals!

Symea Johnson: Stopped by for the “fill a bag for $25” event. I had to control myself because I could of stayed all day and shifted thru all the bins and racks for clothing. Fia was actually present and her and the staff are genuinely good people All positive vibes in the air! Check her out you will not be disappointed 13items including dresses, skirts, purses and jacket all rolled in one bag for $25🎉

kaitlin gauthier: Avoid this Zara. Their fitting rooms are closed more than half the time, without explanation. They appear to be sorting through clothes in the fitting room area instead of letting customers use it. Understandable enough if this was March 2020, but we’re well into 2022 and Zara is the only store that continues to close the fitting rooms sporadically. I asked the staff how long they’d be closed and they said “until further notice”….

Kateri Somrak: Personnel are friendly but LORD I’ve never wasted so much time waiting in line. Fitting rooms are closed so they encourage you to buy things and then just return them. So then you wait in line to check out because not all the registers are open. And then when items inevitably don’t work out, your forced to wait in line again to return them. I stopped by twice today and kept thinking “oh, it must get better.” It doesn’t. Bring a book. You’ll be here awhile. Maybe this is the business model? If I value my time at more than the cost of the two dresses I’m returning I’m definitely losing money and am tempted to just keep them…

R C: The WORST Zara! The lines are horrible & they don’t do anything to try & assist. There are associates walking around adjusting clothes on racks! USE your resources! You already know that due to your policy of having the fitting rooms closed, your return lines are likely to be long. They had 1 person at the register. ONE! Be proactive & efficient! It’s like this every time I come in here. This was my 3rd visit. This picture is not even 1/2 the line. It starts at the door

Tomi Akinmola: If you don’t want to get robbed Avoid at all costs. I bought 11 items, the sales associate only put 5 items in the bag. I returned to the store for the remaining items the same day! They refuse to check the cameras, they say they can’t find the missing items and won’t issue a refund. I file a claim with customer service the exact same day and a month later they still won’t give me my money back. Every manager gives me a different story. On top of the unbearable lines, managers are rude and not understanding and there are no fitting rooms open.

Shakira Coulter: I really really really wish that I could give this store Zero stars. Now if you’re a Zara shopper (I’ve been shopping with them consistently since 2007) you know that their lines are long and you know that the store will definitely be busy but this particular location right here is just ridiculous! I waited in line over an hour (lost count after the hour). Not because the line was long! Not because the systems were down! Not even because they were busy! Their cashiers were actually hanging hangers while they were assisting customers lol… I have to laugh because it was really the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in my life! And get this: They had more than enough staff standing around that could’ve been on “hanger duty” but No the cashiers were also responsible for not only hanging the hangers but wrapping rubber bands around them to hold them together! All I can say is someone get them a new manager NOW! Wait before I forget… Also, I asked one of the associates where the fitting room was and was told they didn’t have one! Not their fitting room is closed but “We don’t have one (with an attitude)” as if a fitting rooms never existed in the store! She must’ve been upset about the hangers too… lol!

C F: I walked in and I thought the store was closing. I hope not because I like Zara's concept. However, clothes, boxes and merchandise were thrown everywhere. There was little to no inventory and what they had available was all mixed up. Fitting rooms were closed and being used as a storage room. Associates were friendly but I felt bad for them as they seemed to be sorting things in the closed fitting room. The H&M next door is tidy, clean, well stocked and the associates are much more upbeat so I dont think its location specific. I saw a lot of shoppers in Zara lost like me trying to dig through scattered inventory. Sad because if you need something from Zara, I am not sure you will find it at this location and I really wish it were better.

Media Monitor: This Zara is the worst location. Never enough employees in the registers. BS policies of no returns in the upstairs register when the line is unbearable downstairs. Never fitting rooms open. A mess. Avoid at all cost. You will be better off going to another farther location.

Triva Watlington: Lines too long, fitting rooms are still closed and its May 2022. Zara carry sizes from S-XXL but every time I walk in there's only small and mediums. This store need to offer a better range of sizes.

Thomas: There were two associates on the top floor behind the register (doing nothing and on their phones) but explained they couldn't check me out and the open registers were downstairs. The line downstairs began forming to the point of the security guard having to restructure the line to make room for customers entering Zara. At one point, a customer went to the register with multiple items of the same piece of clothing (mind you about eight different outfits) and then began trying on the pieces in front of the associate to get their approval/commentary. The customer then would walk to the mirror to get a second look before returning to the register. This went on for about twenty minutes and allowed for only one register to be open with about 50+ guests in line. Absolutely ridiculous. I've experienced slowness here before, but this took it to a new level. Do better, Zara.

Marla Wilson: WORST Zara I have ever visited. The store is completely trash. It looks like a bargain basement. Clothes are everywhere and extremely unorganized. The sales associates are barely working. Clothes are piled up all over the CLOSED fitting rooms where it appears to double as a stock room. This location should just be labeled as one of their outlets.

Yolande S: My daughter went to this store last year. She did not find her fit but the experience with the owner Pamela was beyond 5 stars. Based on my daughter's curves, Pamela recommended a dress style that unfortunately she did not carry at the moment. I did appreciate her honesty and like another reviewer said: she is not trying to sell you a dress. Rather to advise you. If she carries it, sure it is a sale, if not, nobody wastes time. Unfortunately, so many bridal stores try to make you buy their dresses. Pamela, my daughter and I left your store with your best advice. She found her fit in another store based on your advice and recommendations. You educated us this day. Pamela did even gave us addresses of some stores that did carry my daughter's wedding dress style. Beyond 5 stars.

Samantha Stadler: Just had an appointment and it was less than an ideal situation. The staff and owner were fairly friendly and we were the only ones in the store so the experience felt very personalized. We were greeted right away by our consultant. She was pleasant but I was a bit surprised she didn’t want to see any inspiration photos and instead just said I could tell her what I liked. The appointment unfortunately only lasted about 30 minutes because of a pretty poor plus sized selection. Out of what looked like a fairly extensive collection in the store turned out to be only 1 rack of about 10 dresses. I guess this kind of explains why she didn’t need to see much inspiration. I am a street size 16/18. I was able to pull about 3 or 4 dresses and I fit pretty well but none of them were what I was looking for. The owner came with one more for me to try which was nice. I did like it more than I thought but it wasn’t the one. The consultant gave me a name of a plus sized store to try and told me to focus on finding places that would have my size. I appreciated all the help and the hospitality but I would have preferred to be given a heads up of the selection and maybe I would have gone somewhere else or at least gone in with an expectation.

Sharon Santiago: Wonderful bridal salon!!! Pamela is friendly, knowledgeable and values your time. Some bridal shops need to sell you a dress. Pamela creates the experience of Saying Yes to the Dress by listening to the bride and delivering an awesome bridal experience. Thank you Pamela, my daughter has her beautiful wedding gown.

Miriam White: A great selection of gowns for reasonable prices. They do a really good job of making sure you only look at sizes that work for you since it is sample sale only. Their seamstress is also amazing and does beautiful work to make your dress fantastic for your wedding day.

Jennifer Buchheister: I HIGHLY recommend Pamela and Say Yes For Less. I was looking for a designer dress at a more affordable price, and I found it in my exact size! Talk about destiny right? I live a good distance away, but even if I hadn't gone for something specific, I would have found I gown I love. Also Pamela makes it so easy and doesn't push you into something you don't want. We LOVED her!

I was immediately greeted by Pamela and her staff making me feel very welcomed and excited about the experience. They helped me browse the many beautiful and affordable dresses they had. I appreciated Pamela’s honest opinion which helped me narrow down my many options. I bought my dress that day (in Jan 2021) and canceled all of my other bridal store appointments because I felt very happy with my dress and it was very convenient that Connie could do my alterations in June, which gave me plenty of time to be ready for my Aug 2021 wedding. I tried my dress yesterday, a week before my wedding, and it didn’t close right. I was freaking out and called Pamela, she told me to come when I was available and I did today. Connie and her showed my mother and I how to close it properly and it fit right, just like it did when she did the initial alterations which only took her two weeks. Thank you!!

Ashlynn Klicka: From the second we walked in, the employees were aggressive, rude, and didn’t listen to what the bride said she wanted. The negative attitude was tangible and the passive aggressive comments were a little much. It felt like we were doing something wrong by saying we had looked at other places and had an idea of what the bride wanted. When the bride tried dresses on when and said she didn’t like something, they were defensive and acted personally offended. What a terrible experience. The bride felt uncomfortable and that is completely unacceptable. Thankfully this was not the first shop we went to, because if it was, the bride would have been extremely discouraged.

sanam lodin: Let’s start off by saying everything happens for a reason! I had bought my original wedding dress from another shop in the area. Two weeks before my wedding day I had my final fitting. The seamstress did a horrible job fitting the dress to my body shape. She completely altered the style of my dress and it just didn’t look right on me. After google searching bridal shops in the area to find a dress in such a short timeframe, I found Pamela’s bridal shop and called her right away. I explained my situation to her & She scheduled an appointment for me the next day. She pulled out all the dresses for me and believe it or not she had the same exact wedding dress in stock and in my size!!! I couldn’t believe I came across the same wedding dress. It didn’t need much altering except for hemming which was done perfectly. Pamela even went out of her way to sell my original wedding dress for me in her shop. I can’t thank her enough for saving me from such a nightmare!

Brooke Miller: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pamela and Say Yes for Less. I began my wedding dress search by going to all of the shops in DC and the suburbs, but was having a very hard time finding something that I truly loved in my budget (~$4k). A neighbor told me about SYFL and thank goodness she did! My experience with Pamela was refreshing. She was very honest, down to earth, and not pushy or overly sweet like some stylists at other shops had been. She has a great eye for what will fit your body (and budget) and it is clear that she has a ton of experience in the industry. The shop is meticulously clean and organized with large dressing rooms. Pamela has a large selection of beautiful veils and bridal jewelry as well. All of the dresses look brand new and have been professionally cleaned. There certainly is not patio furniture inside as another reviewer mentioned—there are adorable wrought iron tables and chairs for plenty of seating if friends or family come along. Since she sees customers by appointment only, I was always given complete and undivided attention. While the concept is designer dresses at a fraction of the price, I never once felt as if I was in a discount shop. I ended up purchasing a Vera Wang gown that still sells for full price! I also completed my alterations with Pamela and Connie, which was another great experience. Connie is skilled, professional, and completed all of my alterations with one visit. I have been raving about SYFL to everyone I know getting married and I can’t wait to wear my dress next month!

Samira Rezahi: Walking into the store, I was immediately greeted by Pamela. She had such a warm, welcoming yet loving personality that made me feel very comfortable. She was able to listen and show me available styles for my wedding dress. Even though I didn't purchase any items she was able to search via styles for me from other stores. She called as promised with a response and I am so grateful for her. I did purchase accessories and so happy with the customer service and will inform all of my future bridal friends to shop with her!

Marissa Pacheco: Staff was super friendly, helpful, and great hype girls while I was trying on stuff. No mirrors in the dressing rooms so you have to walk out and use the mirrors with people in line and others right there watching you. Kinda uncomfortable but like I said, the girls working were encouraging!

Brittany Burch (Britt): Was excited for my very first shopping trip to Aritzia! I had done some online browsing first to know to look for and try on. I found this store to lack most sizes except XS, there was makeup on many items, and there weren’t mirrors in the dressing rooms. This meant you had to walk out into a common space to look at a mirror, where men were sitting.

P Le: Not a fan of this location compared to Tysons. Staff all act snobby or just outright ignore you if you’re not white and blond. I came in the 21st of June and this girl (white and blond) in a blazer outfit ignored me and seemed to look down on me (a POC) but raved all over another white girl. I’ve been a customer of Tysons location and have spent over $4k+ there and to receive such humiliation is gross. DONT GO HERE

__: Horrible company, extremely rude, ungrateful, and judgmental. They also regularly scam you out of your money by refusing returns or conveniently reimbursing you with "gift cards" that on multiple occasions have had a $0 balance.

M H: The sales associates here are so friendly and helpful, they have a great selection too. Just wish they had mirrors in the fitting rooms!

Yang: The clothing in this brand is so cute and the sizing is fantastic especially for people on the thinner side. They need to work on their sales tactic though. They appear to be commission based, and can turn pretty abrasive and even rude when a customer decides not to buy anything. Very off putting experiences each time. I’ve changed to solely shopping online.

Maham Ahmed: Staff is incredibly rude. Have shopped at Aritzia for sometime now. They also have a creepy old security guy that stares at me everything I go in - hate to pull the race card but he seems to follow me. One time, he accused me of being guilty about something and humiliated me in front of everyone. I had another customer come to my rescue. Wonder if it was due to my skin color. The management at the store laughed and made it no big deal. Overall, bad experience. Feel unsafe and welcomed there. Reported to corporate but they did nothing about it. I go to the NY Aritzia and the experience is a lot better.

Ruchun: Staff are unbelievably rude and impatient, especially the ones work at the checkout, even wouldn’t use the word “please”. Zero customer service. As others mentioned in the comments, the store in NYC is so much better than this one.

They got rid of their huge nail polish and makeup station and replaced it with jewelry. Don’t try to start a nice conversation with their cashiers because they are not interested in small talk even though your just asking them how their day is going.

Bojana Stef: I never had such a negative experience in Nordstrom. There is a clear sign at the entrance door and in the store stating that if I download their app-get $5off. In from of the cashier and later store manager Ronda I did that and then they declined to give me $5 off as some banner on the app didn't show up - no explanation no nothing. I never had the Nordstrom app before (during covid, I was in Europe, and I just came back, so I didn't have the app). I will communicate this to Nordstrom.as well. If something is advertised, they have to honor it.

40ish Sophisticate: This is the worst Rack I have ever been to and I am a frequent shopper plus a Nordstrom card holder for decades. The service is very poor. Lots of standing around, only one person checking out but plenty of security though. Will not return. This an update- I am just now seeing that the cashier did not credit my account for my return! This is absolutely unacceptable! I wish I never shopped at this location 😪

I have noticed a shift in the Nordstrom Rack stores to now carry home goods like sheets and bedding. Be careful if you go in there - it's easy to shop, shop, shop!

Jill Bosserman: I walked in on a Saturday morning, alone, just to browse. The sales ladies asked me what I liked, and I pointed out a few styles from a helpful poster of the basic dress cuts. They pulled about 5 or 6 dresses for me (all small sizes, as I’m a size 2P). Dress #4 was the perfect dress – Mikado and Tulle. They told me, “That’s the one.” It was absolutely perfect in every way. They helped me order it in a size 2P, which fit *perfectly* when it came. I mean, so perfectly that it needed NO adjustments for fitting, and didn’t even need to be hemmed once I had on my shoes. (All they had to do was trim the front layer of tulle.) My excellent floor rep was Sharon. The manager was also super sweet and helpful!! And did I mention my dress was a bargain compared to the bridal salons? 1000% recommend!

Faith Brown: I literally just had the best shopping experience ever. We were greeted at the door. Our consultant Nicole made this 1 hour trip worth it. She brought us so many amazing flattering options. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I found my bridesmaid dress. I will recommend others to this location.

Nancy brought me a variety of dresses to try on to help me find the style I liked best as this was my first ever bridal appointment and she walked me through their online portal. I didn't find my dress, but I did find shoes that I loved!

Michelle Hyde: I worked with stylist Lisa Hall and she was amazing. My daughter and I needed to find a dress for my sisters wedding and I needed to find a wedding dress, on short notice, for several valid and challenging reasons which would continue to be issues. Lisa listened to my concerns and was able to help me find dress that made me feel comfortable and made suggestions on how we could overcome the challenges that were specific to my situation. I was concerned that we would not be able to find a nice dress on such short notice, but she did. It has been a while since we have a attended a formal event, but she made us feel very comfortable about the process and addressed all of our concerns. I was also happy as my daughter found a dress and she hates dress shopping. So it was a win all around!!

Lauren Owens: Susie was amazing! After a few try on sessions with other retailers, I finally found the one and said yes to the dress! The entire team was incredibly helpful and I had a great time trying on. Susie was helpful with showing different options on bustle, straps, bridal belts, and shoes. Thank you, Susie! As a note - there is a great selection of bridal rompers and other white attire for other wedding events like engagement parties and receptions — which is super helpful and good to know, since I’ll be having a reception at a later date, after my micro wedding ceremony. Everything is reasonably priced and I was WAY below my budget — so I’ll have more to spend on the honeymoon 😊

Sharon Irick: After endless searching for semi-formal wear for my grandson's wedding I went to David's Bridal. Ashley was assigned to assist me in selections and she was a great help. She was patient and even laughed at my jokes. I was also able to have the necessary alteration done in time and for a reasonable price. Even more, the outfit I chose was on sale and the price was even more reasonable. This was my first visit to David's and I would highly recommend them to my friends. All the associates who work there are friendly and helpful and Ashley couldn't have been more professional, helpful and supportive!

Emily Doxtator: Highly recommend! This was my first ever bridal shopping and it could not have been better. The store had a huge variety of styles and i was able to try on many different styles. Christine was my stylist and she was so attentive, helpful, and creative. She really listened to my feedback and continued to provide different dresses that matched my desired style. Her expertise also brought new perspective that I would not have ever considered. She was both incredibly professional and kind. They have a nice selection of dresses here. If you plan on visiting during the weekend, I highly recommend booking an appt for earlier in the day since it can get busy.

Yaquelin Lemus hernandez: I book here my 2 wedding dresses and my bridesmaids they all buy the dresses from here as well. Everything went great until yesterday when I went to pick up one of my wedding dress with the alterations department my dress WAS NOT THERE, THEY LOST MY DRESS!!! i was there since 1pm till 3pm and they couldn’t find my dress. The alterations manager besides that they couldn’t find my dress she didn’t said anything , she didn’t offer me no other option, she only told me that she had been looking for my dress since the morning and she couldn’t find it. Few minutes later Emily the manager started helping her and she came by to talk to me about the dress and offer me options to get another dress even though I needed the dress for the same day of the pick up, I appreciate her stepping in and helping me. I was not able to get another dress because it was not what I wanted. But I appreciate her trying to help Me . I left the store really disappointed, mad and sad, with no dress for my photography session that I had that day , my hair was done already. I just had to pick up my dress and head to my make up appointment after it was my photography session. I lost all that due to alterations department losing my dress. I didn’t make any drama or any problems while I was there , I didn’t yell or cuss any body. I only took my self and my money back to the car and left with no dress. But after this I will never be going back there for another alterations appointment. What happened with my wedding dress was so wrong my wedding is in one day. And now I have to look for a new dress. I do not recommend the alterations department from this location:

Lana: Terrible customer service. Came at 6.45 and they already didn’t let people in since they were closed. And I needed to make a return exactly on that day! Improve your customer service or hire more stuff, you can’t simply close the store when it’s officially still operating hours!

No i didn't Have a receipt because duh it was a gift. However but hole “manager LIZ” made it the most difficult thing ever. I read her, her own return guidelines and told her it’s ok I’ll take it for whatever value, but no a receipt was needed. I mean This is the nastiest women. She returned part of the same order but not everything because she felt i had attitude per her co worker who finished the transaction. I mean she act as if I wasn’t a customer who needed customer service. What I am going to say is I’ve worked here and shopped here ok and if she can’t do her job she needs to go!

LaToya Conner: Please check your receipts. I had the young lady do a price check and she never took the item off. I called today and Liz, a manager, was very rude and hung up on me. Not only do I have to request a formal compliant, now I have to spend time and additional money to right the way I was wronged. They can pull cameras, look at inventory, or just plain ask the young lady at Checkout to verify the experience. I’m very disappointed seeing the amount of money I spend here. I pray everyone has a better experience.

Hilda Kroll: The location, in the heart of Old Town, is great for someone like me who uses public transportation. I can have lunch at a great restaurant, enjoy the Torpedo Factory, browse in the thrift shops, sit and look out at the water, and then shop at Ross for clothing, housewares, spices, or any number of things I didn't realize I needed. Then easy access to a bus or Metro to head for home with my purchases.

Cindy Ly: The store looks a bit run down, but if you have time, there are some great deals here. There’s a variety of stuff you can choose from.

Mais K: SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I tried to exchange items for which I lost my reciept and the cashier literally asked me how I passed the LSAT if I was so irresponsible as to lose my reciept?? And the manager just stood by and listened??? They were extremely patronizing and basically made me beg them just to go through the process of exchanging my stuff, which is PART OF ROSS POLICY! They tried give me $50 store credit max, even though my items cost $250 bc “they didn’t want to” exchange all my items. I was actually shocked I was bargaining with them to abide by the policies at all other Ross locations - or to just be decent with me. I asked the woman the price of something and she said “do you think I’m slow????” And I was like WAT is happening lol - one of the most unprofessional and rude encounters I’ve had with a person, much less an employee!!!!!!!!

Dan H: I will say this is a unique ross- Street parking “paid” The store is small to other locations- however they do have good finds inside, found a bunch of big and tall tees under $7 each! The jewelry was sorta plain and basic house goods were decent, no furniture- worth visiting.

Dresses, shoes, cooking gear as well as bedding to namea few. My summer favorites were the exception planters for my beautiful garden and high end brand name cosmetics neatly boxed for hygienic and security purposes. So happy ROSS DRESS FOR LESS is open again. Special thanks to all employees for their loyal service. Today's gift to myself and the gardens was a turquoise glass wind chime in a seaside style for great summer celebrations.

Brittany Walker: I have a mixed review of this location because I am always able to find dresses at bargain prices being a size xl. On the other hand, I never find fashion forward shoes here, and all of the body spray I like never has tops. Cant win them all I guess.

Jenny O’Neil: The store itself has a small selection. My review is mostly about the unfriendly and i knowledgeable staff. I visited today 12/6 at noon. I went to this store knowing that banana was having a sale 40% off everything and an additional 20% off for card holders. That’s a good deal. First, I asked someone where the petite sizes were, they told me they didn’t carry petite in store. That was a lie because I saw a few petite sizes particular the blazer I bought. My next issue and pet peeve when shopping is when the store employees wants to deny you on discounts. Before purchasing my blazer I wanted to confirm the additional 20%. The cashier said no sorry we’re not doing that. Another lie. I had to search the website, pull up the details and even then they told me it was just online after I showed them the fine print that said IN STORE AND ONLINE FOR IN STORE USE CODE BRCODE! Finally, they said they would “just give it to me” except when I looked at the receipt, the code worked and it marked the 20% off. Stop making us beg for the discounts that we’re entitled to.

Ivan Narvaez: The usual store of BB. Very clean and nice decoration. The people who work there are very friendly and assist you in all your need. I case you can't find your size or color they offer to look in others stores and send it to your house. Very good service.

Ele Palazzolo: I love this shop! Their sizes are accurate. I have been in Banana Republic in Berlin and London and they are all the same everywhere. You kind of know what to expect and is always right. The staff is also helpful and dedicated.

Mar Would: Staff was great, dressing room are open, sales are amazing.

David Rosenberg: I think the styles are pretty good, and he staff is friendly. I wish the men's section we're bigger, but for it's size, it has a good variety. More dressing rooms would be nice too, but that's just a function of the footprint, and you can't get that would sacrificing retail space.

Titaness Themis: Been there a few times...usually not the most pleasant experience...the worst one was yesterday when I went in to buy two dresses and I asked about military discount. The cashier said that it usually does not work with the extra 40% off promo, but she would try. She entered it manually and I got the military discount on one dress and not the other. When I asked why that was, she gave me at least 4-5 versions as to why, which neither made sense. The discount applies to the whole purchase and not to an individual item according to her, so any further explanation is useless. I had to ask for a manager to step in because the girl just did not what she was talking about it. The manager was very courteous and gave me the discount on the other dress as well. She further explained to me that military discount does not apply to the extra 40% promo, but she did it for me anyway. I appreciated it that. In the future, it is best to say flat out it does not apply and not do it.

Mark Dunkum: I found some bargains in clearance. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Amanda DeNardo: I cannot stress enough how terrible the customer service was at this store. I came in looking for basics and a new top and found a blouse (last in my size) and asked them to hold it for me while I try on some basics. They lacked communication and someone put it back (which is okay, it happens). When I was ready to checkout they gave me a huge attitude and when I asked where my blouse was they seemed offended that I was confused... I went back to the rack and found it put away. When I told them what happened they gave me side eye, more attitude, and didn't apologize. Honestly this was a rant and a half but do yourself a favor and just shop online. These guys are jerks.

My husband ordered a pair of matching Gucci shoes and bag on Tuesday for my birthday party this weekend. The invoice says 2nd day air and we were meant to receive it today. Unfortunately, the order is arriving next week. which is one week from when the order was placed. I called Gucci to inquire about my order and the customer service rep was rude. She claimed Gucci's delivery takes 2-4 business days and there is nothing they can do except cancel my order. I requested to talk to the supervisor and she said that was not possible and hung up on me.

James Walker: Visited the luxury boutique, during CityCenter event called Winter in Washington. The ice sculpture exhibit was within steps of the Gucci boutique. Spoke with a consultant, who gave some insight into his products. He advised me the family owned business, imports its product from Italy. He identified two pieces, he was particularly fond of. A ladies' handbag with a medallion containing Swarovski crystals. Another handbag was red, made with buffalo hide. The boutique offers men's and women's apparel and accessories, to include footwear.

Keisha Streeter-Clark (Kstreet202): Poor customer service. Placing a crowd control rope up to the entrance to a nearly empty store where the staff outnumbered the two people inside is ridiculous. It also was raining! A Clerk saw me outside, made eye contact, did not acknowledge me but turned his back and attempted to look busy “straightening items.” I turned away to leave when a young lady came to the door. I asked if they were open, she said yes, you have to stand in line...there was no line. I've never had this experience with Gucci and was surprised at the lack of courtesy and service. I will not come back to this store location again. Note: I acknowledge that the store may have to limit the number of people inside because of Covid; even if DC has lifted limits, it's good to be safe. This was not the situation. They let two people in as I was walking away. I hope this is not a company policy.

Mark Blanchard: I've been to at least a dozen different Nordstroms in various states, and this is unfortunately the worst and lowest quality one I've ever shopped at. Hardly any inventory, extremely disorganized, hard to find staff, merchandise is not current, and displays are dirty and broken. Returns are easy, and staff is nice when you get hold of someone.

Hilda Kroll: Three floors of lovely things that are beautifully displayed. I'm not ever going to spend $500 on a purse, but this is a good place to shop for those who can and do. There's a personal stylist available, a shoe shine stand, a cafe. I have friends who shop here all the time and love it.

Louise Watts: The staff is so nice! First time back in a mall in 24 months. They were helpful but didn't hover. Patient! Bought a great sweater, tee shirt and pants, all on sale going into rotation immediately.

Rasha Sharif: I go there a lot to return my online orders or exchange them. I rarely will ship to be honest in this store. The customer service is ok and they let you self validate for the parking. I just find it easy for me to find what I want online then try it at home, keep what I like and return what is not working.

Breda Purdy: We went to Nordstrom to shop but found a gem: their restaurant. Everything we had was amazing from sandwiches to salads. I could not believe how wonderful the tomato soup tasted. The staff there could not be nicer.So glad we happened to wander in. Highly recommend.

Eric Larson: Should have asked his name, but the gentleman working Mens Fragrances around 1:45 on 5/16/22 found my misplaced wedding ring and returned it to me. Now that's what I call customer service!

REALTOR: In January I received an email for 50$ off of my next purchase and I have yet to receive it from Nona Parker. I have emailed her and spoke to her over the phone and still no code. 50$ may not be that much to some but it definitely helps when you have a cart full of items please don’t send emails if you aren’t going to follow through with them.

Mark Blanchard: Understaffed, tired looking, and disorganized. Returns are easy, and the staff at the return desk are very nice. It's also easy and quick to validate parking, so you can park for free in the ramp.

Rick Javier: Apparently, this building was one of the first department stores dated a century ago! It’s quite a sight for a Macys. I rated this store two stars because the selection was horrible. Not what I would expect for such a large store. Very basic.

Kev- keepingitreal: This store is some what clean. Macy’s offers a verity of clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and a host of other items at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking spaces in the parking garage but need better lights.

Kris Pahel: Free shop for an 11-year-old who need it underwear. We were visiting from out of town. We were able to find underwear. And we left. Store has a very nice layout. It's extremely large. Possibly the largest Macy's I've ever seen. Located in probably the coolest mall I've ever seen underground and hidden in plain sight.

Hilda Kroll: Convenient parking and easy to get to by Metro. Three floors of housewares, linens, clothing for the whole family, cosmetics, jewelry, and more. Lots of sales throughout the year.

Portia Honu: Overall shopping experience was just fine. Had a bad experience with the lady with Mac cosmetics though. She took a while to attend to us and was quite dismissive the whole entire time. She literally asked me to walk outside and use my phone to check the lighting of the test makeup on my face and then basically told me the look wasn't satisfying because I had bad skin. Was in a hurry to get done with me. I certainly did not make a purchase. Ladies with the perfume and Estee Lauder stands were quite helpful however. I can't get this rude Mac attendant off my mind!

Jessie Surles: We didn't end up buying anything, nothing wrong with it. Just didn't find anything we liked, it was very clean and smelled great. But we couldn't find anyone to help us look at the watches :/ a little disappointing.

K H: I came to this location to return some cosmetics items that were not the best for my skin. I was helped by the two Fatimas. They were some of the most pleasant and professional sales associates I have ever dealt with. These two made my experience so enjoyable that I would more than likely return to this location in the future. I am so grateful for their outstanding customer service. I will likely return to this location although Tysons is closer to home for me. Thank you to both Fatimas!!!

kam greene: Pentagon City Macy's is so awesome! Clean, wide isles. Good, supportive staff and easier to find good quality merchandise. Can't wait to go back.

Wittynpretty Pretty: This macys made me want to shop inside stores again instead of online. It was clean and well organized. My ONLY problem is there was a VERY RUDE male cashier/ he looked Ethiopian in juniors section upstairs near the clearance and dressing rooms. That was talking to what im assuming was a family/ friend in native tongue for 10 minutes.. she wasnt checking out or anything. I stood there awkwardly waiting to check out when they FINALLY finished talking he rudely pointed and Said go over there. He pointed to NOWHERE and was content with himself... I ended up walking around and checking out with some pleasant ladies in customer service though.
